All of a sudden, it seemed like a great idea. I remember talking to Jimmy about it and thinking, this is a great idea. This will never actually happen. They'll never actually do this. Well, they did it, and you can follow it on Spotify, Strike Force 5. You can get it wherever you get your podcasts. Can't wait to listen to this. Super excited. Those five guys all on a Zoom together, just cracking jokes. I'm ready. So there you go. On this podcast, it's the second annual My Guy Fantasy Draft. Craig Horlbeck, Danny Kelly, Danny Heifetz from The Ringer Fantasy Show. We're going to come on, and we're going to talk about all of our guys that we like, dislike, that we're afraid of in the fantasy football season, and then went to Cleveland to find Garrett Bush, who is kind of a big guy there. I got to say, he's kind of a guy. He's going to tell us what to expect from the Browns, who are the most confusing 2023 team. A lot of that has to do with Deshaun Watson, which Deshaun Watson, are we going to get? How do we feel about Deshaun Watson in 2023, just in general? And where is Cleveland Sports going? What's happened to them this century? All the good, all the bad. And he's going to lay all of it out for us. So this is a really good podcast. Can't wait. First, our friends from Pro Chip. All right, it's the second annual My Guy Fantasy Draft. Our Ringer Fantasy Show guys are here. Danny Kelly, Danny Heifetz, Craig Horlbeck, my rewatchables producer, always nice when he pops on the BS. So we did this last year. We didn't win any awards, but sometimes you don't need to win awards. Sometimes when something's great, when it works, you just kind of know it, and we're going to run it back. Heifetz, you want to explain what this gimmick is? Yeah, it's you text us a bunch of ridiculous categories and then we kind of build an entire show, right? No, it's fun, though. It's just like it's a draft, but it's not a draft. And then it's it's vibes. It's a vibes episode. Yeah, we can agree on this. The concept is like you go into a fantasy draft. We all have the same kind of guides, same kind of rankings, but it doesn't capture the love. It doesn't capture the irrational. I just believe in this guy. It doesn't capture Craig thinking that that Pickens is going to end up being Justin Jefferson this year. There's just some things he already is or fear PTSD from bad draft picks from the past. I actually listened to a lot of the pod we did last year, and it was pretty funny hearing some of the guys we were like completely enamored by that ended up being bust. And then there were some other ones that I was surprised by the accuracy of it. Danny Kelly, can you ever be right in a fantasy draft? Can you ever go perfect? One in a million. It's like picking stocks, you know, if you get one good one, then you're set. Last year, mine was Romandre. I listened to our show last year, too. Feel like I nailed that one. Didn't get some other ones right. So that's, you know, we don't have to re litigate those. But Romandre, I'm calling that one. The take I was proudest of last year was fearing Cooper Cup after the year that he had just not liking the scent of something. This is veteran experience. I've been doing fantasy, I think since like 1989, 1990, something like that. All right. So I'm going to rip through the categories here. And then we're going to go at them one at a time. This is not, it's a draft, but it's not a draft because if we all have the same guy for a category of two of us have it, it's fine. We're okay. Um, the categories are my one true love, the guy that we just liked the most, my crazy pills guy. Do you want to explain the crazy pills thing, Craig? Uh, I think it could go either way, right? It's either you feel like you're taking crazy pills because nobody else likes the guy you like, or it's the other way around where you feel like you're taking crazy pills because everybody likes this guy and you don't understand it at all. So there's a little variance on that one. You can go either way. There's the my I absolutely hate myself for doing this guy, which seems to happen over and over again in fantasy where you go in there, drive like, well, I'm not going to end up with Russell Wilson. Uh, that was the example I used last year. It could be the example you use again this year. I'm not even gonna spend a dollar for Russell Wilson. Then it gets to the 17th round. If you're in a booger eater draft or, you know, you have $5 left for five guys and it's like, ah, Russell Wilson, Sean Payton, and all of a sudden you have Russell Wilson and you have no idea how he ended up on your team. So that is the, my absolutely hate myself for doing this guy. Uh, there's the, I'm going to add this category. It's a little sub category. The I'm staying away from that whole team team. There's teams where you're just like, I'm out, I'm just blind out. I don't want one person from that team. I'll see, we'll see if we agree on that team. Then we have the, my shameless Homer pick guy. That's going to be really, I mean, Craig, you don't even have to go. Uh, although there could be their tickets like plus 500, but I think we know pick is going to be there. There's the, my, I wouldn't take him even if he was free guy. So you're putting them on your D and D do not draft list. I had McCaffrey as my guy for this last year, which looked brilliant for about six weeks. Then he got traded a machine of an offense. We have the, my, that 2022 booty call isn't happening again guy, which is a new category for this year. This is the, you stumbled into somebody in the free agent auction, maybe in November, you wrote them for a couple of weeks, some fond memories, but you know, as a one night stand or, you know, as a three week stand and you're not going back, then we have the, this is a classic one. The somebody's got to get points on that team guy. We just look at all the teams and like, well, I don't know. Everybody scores 300 someone's catching passes on that team. Someone's rushing for 970 yards. There is the, my sorry, I'm sorry. That's too rich for my blood guy where you look at the draft guide and you see some of the salaries next to the guys. Then you go wait at $47. So Najee Harris was my guy for this last year. And I was proud of that one. There's the, my $1 QB guy. You're not, he's not going to make it break a draft, but you're also kind of secretly stashing away in your head. And we all have our $1 QB. There is the, my I'd be afraid to look on Tuesday and see the red flag guy, which I've added this year. I didn't even tell you about this category. You take the guy and it's going great. Eloy Jimenez is the ultimate baseball example of this. It's going great. You're feeling awesome. And then you go on there on a Tuesday and there's the red flag with the yellow box that there's news. And you're just like, Oh no. Oh God, what happened? And there's certain guys who just, it happens every year. A cousin of that, the, my, I know there's a 99 % chance he's getting hurt again, but God damn, I can't resist this guy guy. Then we have the, my Cooper cup. It's a year after the year guy. So I named this category after Cooper cup. So who is it this year? They had their year last year. Don't do it again. Don't get sucked in five more. The my, I just want everyone on that offense. I don't care guy. The my it's a year too early, but fuck it guy. The my missionary position. We've all had him guy. The my, I fell for the preseason hype guy. And then finally the, my I'd never root for an injury, but he is one injury away. That guy. All right. So we're going to start with my one true love. We're going to go and we're going to go on one, two, three, four on the zoom. And then for the second round, then the second guy will go, Danny Kelly, you're up. All right. My one true love. Who is it? I got to go with Tony Pollard for the Cowboys. I'm irrationally in love with this guy. I've been saying it. I think there's nothing you can say. It convinced me that he's not the best player in the NFL. Like, like just pound for pound, the best player in the NFL. Um, you know, last year he finished as the RV seven this year. He's going to be playing, I think more snaps, getting way more opportunities. If he can get up to like the same level of opportunities as Ekeler and CMC, you know, cause he's in that style of runner. I think this guy could finish as a top three running back in the NFL. And so I am, I'm just like full as a gentleman said, full bloom in love with Tony Pollard. I just can't, I can't help it. So in the ringer fantasy guide, he's 13th right now and he's gone for $42 in auction. So you think that's low? Yeah, I would, I would, I actually had Pollard too. Wow. We all have Pollard. Wait, did you too, Krik? I'm scared now. Yeah. Yeah. Oh, that's, well, that's, that's, this is a sign that, yeah, this is a terrible sign, but I just, I mean, just to pile on to DK stats here, Zeke had 12 touchdowns last year and Nick and Tony Pollard was a top 10 running back. Like what else do you need to hear? Like every time Tony Pollard was on the field, he was the best running back in the league. And now Zeke's gone. Like I rest my case. This is the pregame show where they all pick the same team to win a football and then that team loses. So you should probably stay away from Tony Pollard. Wait. So all three of you had Tony Pollard for this? Yeah, I can give you some. We did not discuss this before coming on. I didn't expect that. Oh, my God. Talk about groups and Jesus. You know, it's, you know, what sucks about this is that means when I have my big auction draft in a week and all my friends are going to be listening to this. And when Tony Pollard comes up, I'm not going to get them because they're all going to bid them up for $57 if I want to get them. Well, Bill's like, oh my God. Well, here's the argument. Rich Rebar, who works for Warren Sharpe, he's at Sharpe Football Analysis and he is a really good comp, which is basically Melvin Gordon was playing ahead of Austin Eckler for years. And everyone's begging for Austin Eckler to get the job. And then Austin Eckler finally got the job and the charges got rid of Melvin Gordon. And then Austin Eckler still wasn't really a first round pick. And we talked ourselves out of it. We hemmed it on. This is Tony Pollard again. It's like Zeke is finally after five years out of Dallas. And we're like, yeah, any point you get Tony Pollard, that's actually crazy. Like, honestly, you could get him for forty five bucks. Austin Eckler is going to go for 60. Tony Pollard would probably just be better than Austin Eckler this year. I kind of genuinely mean this. Tony Pollard should maybe be the first pick in fantasy football. Right? You can convince me. Kind of genuinely. Well, he does have a great offensive line. There are going to be a couple of games against bad teams where he, you know, you have him on Thanksgiving or something and he puts up the four touchdown hundred and eighty yard game. I can see it. So I guess I'm up then because you guys all agreed. You can have anybody you want. My one true love this year, Jalen Hurts of the Philadelphia Eagles, who I also like for MVP. So. Last year, he missed two games and they also blew out what what was a D .K. like seven, eight team, seven, eight games where they just like in the fourth quarter, they didn't even really have to play offense. They're just kind of running out of the string. Yeah, I don't think their defense is going to be as good this year. Sheila Kapadia on the on the NFL show has been talking about this. I think it's to be better than he thinks, but it won't be as good on it. And their schedule is tougher. But, you know, is it possible that he's like a four thousand one thousand guy with some sort of combination of 40 to D like everyone agrees they have the best offensive line in the league. Everyone agrees the one to A .J. Brown, Devonta Smith punch is way up there. And I'm saying like Schrager on TV this week was saying Devonta Smith, this is the year he jumps up to the chase class. So we have that with Dallas Goddard, who everybody thinks is the best all around tight end in the league, the guy who actually blocks and plays three downs, running backs, whatever. Put anyone behind there and they'll gain 80 yards. And then he's going to get a lot of the goal line carries. I think he's my top QB this year. I think I would take him before everybody else. So I don't even think it's that controversial. What do you think of that one? He is, I think you're right. I think the key point you have there is that he barely played in the fourth quarter last year. That's the key thing. He was already in a per game basis. He was the best quarterback in fantasy last year and he barely played the fourth quarter. Yeah. So you could argue he hasn't even reached the ceiling yet. He's our number one guy on the guide right now, I believe. Shameless plug for fantasyfootball .300 .com. He's our 21st player. We have like all our rankings there. And yeah, he has the highest floor and the highest ceiling. My favorite stat about Jalen Hurts, other than 18 rushing touchdowns in 18 games last year, Jalen Hurts had more games over 30 points than under 20. That's everything you want in a quarterback. Well, so he's number one in our guide, but I still feel like in a draft, Mahomes is going over him because of the Mahomes. It's just the most fun to have Mahomes. The R. And I actually think that's a little nuts this year. DK, Hurts is I think either 12 to 1 or 11 to 1 on FanDuel for MVP. And I think those odds are the most out of whack of all the MVP odds, because that's, if you're going to say the MVP is going to come from an awesome team, they're probably one of the five teams that has a chance to go 13 and 4, 14 and 3, something like that. He, they have the most talent on offense, I think, of any team that's going to be in the MVP conversation and we've seen him get better every year. So why is he 11 to 1, 12 to 1? Shouldn't he be like 6 to 1, 7 to 1? Shouldn't it be where Josh Allen is? I don't, is it just because of the previous like impressions that he was a, what was he a third round pick or second round pick and maybe hold on to that for too long? Or maybe it's just because he's surrounded by such a good team. I don't know. But yeah, like you said, he's improved pretty much every season he's been playing, even going back to college. You know, from everything that we've heard, he is maniacal about like working and leadership and just all the things, all the intangibles. And then, of course, you know, if he takes a jump as a passer this year, you know, that's going to be huge for him because he's already like one of the best running quarterbacks. He's double digit rushing touchdowns in the last two years. You know, everything about him screams just, you know, like the face of the franchise season. He's everything they want. And so I could see it like from a narrative point of view, for sure. It reminds me of what you used to have with Russell Wilson when he was alive.

Chris Ryan Nick Danny Heifetz Sheila Kapadia Danny Kelly Melvin Gordon Deshaun Watson Sean Payton Josh Allen Stephen Colbert Seth Meyers Craig Horlbeck $5 John Oliver Garrett Bush Rich Rebar Jimmy Kimmel $42 Last Year Jalen Hurts

"Is what it is right now. Jets Broncos. All right, we got our wish with a Bret ripping game here for the Broncos. It went pretty much as well as you would expect it would be. I do appreciate all the folks who are like, oh, see, it's just, you know, they're struggling just bad with Brent ripping. So Russ Wilson is in The Bronx. It's like, yeah, well, the $230 million quarterback is supposed to be on one level and not on the same level as you're. Basically veteran minimum. It's gonna say, don't be knocking Brett rippon makes a nice living for his family. He does. He does. You shop at Whole Foods. Nothing. Nothing to be nothing to be sneezed out here. If that's a job you can get, you take it. But yeah, you know, Russell Wilson is supposed to be on a higher level than Brett rippin. So I'm not sure what the takeaway is as far as Russell Wilson goes. But the Broncos just continue to struggle very badly. Yeah. I don't know what the answer is. This is, boy, it's just not going the way that we thought it was going to go. From the beginning of the season, thought this team was going to win 11 games. And they're two and 5. And to be honest, it seems, I don't know if you caught when they announced that Russell Wilson was out. Adam Schefter had said, Russell Wilson did everything he could to get ready for this game in Nathaniel Hackett holding him back and I saw that and I was like, this place is a disaster. Like it's just because, right, Adam doesn't Adams a great reporter and he's very connected, but you know, he's not choosing those words into those words are being said somewhere along the line to him in that order, right? And so it's like man alive. We've reached, we've reached a bad place. This is a bad place that they're in right now. It's just like, I don't know what the, even looking beyond this season. I don't know what the answer is at this point because you still have the quarterback problem. And again, and we've talked about this, we're probably going to talk about this for the next, I don't know, four years because that's how long he is locked into that deal with the Broncos at this point. If Russell Wilson is going to insist on playing a style of football that he is ill suited to play, that's going to be the issue. I mean, this is obviously an absurd analogy here, but if Tom Brady comes in and says, I'm just a sprint option guy now. We're just going to run nothing but sprint option. You'd be like, one, you probably want to know that before you signed into a monster extension, hopefully someone had the conversation with them. I don't know if they did. I mean, there's just so many unanswered questions as to how this happened and how they ended up in this spot with, again, a quarterback who is insisting on playing a style of football that he is not good at. As opposed to the south football that he had been pretty good at. And then you put on top of it, okay, what's the physical drop off going to be into his 30s? How's it going to affect his previous style play that he was good at considering it was very much based on a lot of stuff that kind of tends to go away physically to get older. Is that what they call it? Stuff that tends to go away physically as you get older. Yeah. It is boy. This is going to be. Either the Walmart guys like, wow, this is bad. And it just says, well, whatever, let's just trade them. And at this point, well, let me back up. Let's say that the Broncos were like holy shit. The Walmart guy comes in. I don't know what the Walmart guys. Is it like his name wall? His name is he seems Walt. Is that what it called? Walmart? Is that what they call it Walmart? Yeah, I always assume so. Okay. So yeah, if Walmart guy comes in and his name's rob Walton, rob. Rob Walt. And he comes in and he's like, oh, by some miracle he was just like, yeah, no. Russell Wilson's a problem. Let's just see what we can get for him and I'll take the profits from one of my stores in 6 hours and I'll pay the dead cap hit no big deal. Whatever. Would any team trade significant draft capital for him again? There were already, I mean, look, you go back a couple of years. There were some offensive coaches who were not thrilled at the prospect of working with him because again, he is a guy who lived off a lot of improvisation. And that's all of the conversation. How much does it bother you if your play caller can't get into rhythm or you don't know exactly where the ball is going, et cetera, et cetera. And that substituted here in there, and obviously his play out of structure more than outweighed the shortcomings when it came to that. But if you were an offensive coach that can be fairly frustrating, right now, if you are, I mean, and look, coaches don't get to make the final call in most of these situations. But if you're like an offensive coach, I mean my God. No, this is a horror story for an offensive coaching staff. I mean, this is the last thing you want is a huge money big name quarterback coming in and kind of telling you he's not gonna do the stuff that made him really good in the past. And you have to make him into, again, Tom Brady running the sprint option type of stuff. And figure out a way to make it work because there's not really an answer. There's no answer to completely reinventing someone's style of play, even setting aside the physical deficiencies, you can't do that at age 35. I mean, it's done. So, you know, some owner might get starry eyed and bring him in some defensive coach might say, boy, I remember what a pain in the butt it was to game plan for him. Let's put him under center, but man, if you're an offensive coach, I don't know what the, I don't know what the horror movie analogy is here. They're too scary for me. I don't watch those movies. I would, I would guess, this is just a guess. I would guess if you rounded up, really, right? Because who else, do we remember another team kind of being in on? Wilson this off season? There were stuff being thrown out there. I mean, look, the most regrettable thing I said this summer and boy, can you imagine this alternate reality? You had posed the question if you were the eagles, would you spend all that draft capital and go get Russell Wilson now? And just, you know, after Jalen hurts had that problematic playoff loss in Tampa, just say, you know what? We were never really fully in on Jalen hurts anyway. Let's go get a guy who we know will give us a certain level of play. I mean, that would have been just the worst thing in the world. To move on to move on from Jalen hurts and also to move on there. So my advice there was terrible. I don't know if the eagles were ever seriously in on him though. I know if the Panthers were ever seriously, the Panthers seemed to be in on everyone, so you probably could get something out of Carolina at that point, but. I mean, I don't know, man. But I was gonna say if you would have asked family feud style, we're pulling a hundred offensive coordinators. How many of you would like to be the primary play caller for Russell Wilson? Less than

"Got a new hat. There we go. Excellent line read for weyland smithers on that one too. Yeah, this was a lot of issues defensively for the forty-niners in this game, which the chiefs do that to you. They also lost Drake green law when they're fine linebackers in the third quarter. But it really went sideways here, defensively, but offensively, gosh, so many ugly plays still crop up despite all of these just millions of playmakers in this offense. Yeah, so I don't know if you've read what I wrote about Christian McCaffrey at midnight on Thursday when this happened, but needless to say, I was pretty excited. I would imagine that let's say midnight on Thursday back in whatever 2000 BC, I find out I'm writing it on deadline and we find out about the creation of democracy. I think I would be, I think I was nicer to Christian. I was more excited about the Christian McCaffrey trade than I would have been for like a world changing political setup. So yeah, man, I was so excited. But you know what? You and I especially, I feel like I've done so many stories on an outside zone and wide zone, why it works, what it's good about it, and specifically what's good about Kyle Shanahan and I think it was so cool about it was, okay, he's got a tight end that's really a wide receiver in George kittle. He's got Kyle use check because a fullback is really tight end. And then he's got deebo Samuel's a wide receiver who could also be a running back. Now he's got a running back who could be a wide receiver. You could run, you could line that team up in any personnel grouping possible. The defense of coordinator has no anchor. He can't look at what you have on the field and decide what he wants to put in there. You should be a you shouldn't be beating teams. You should be assaulting teams. And granted, it's going to take him a week or two to get in the lineup. He didn't seem like he had a ton of snaps this week. But I mean, you know, I said that this was going to make him Super Bowl contenders and I feel a little silly today. I'm not going to lie. I don't know. So here's the thing, obviously they didn't have Christian McCaffrey up to speed in this one. They had like 72 hours to get him ready for his first game at four 9 uniform. We're going to fire off takes because that's what we are paid just obscene amounts of money to do. But there's not a whole lot to take away. As far as I McCaffrey and his fitness office, and you're right, I mean, defense is based what they're going to do. Their first hint is what kind of personnel you have on the field. The personnel is almost meaningless because like you said, everyone can do everything. Put Robbie gold at left guard. I mean, they can go ahead and do that and get away with it. You know, defensively, a bit of a head scratcher in this one. I would have hoped that this unit fared better against a chiefs offense. I was missing tyreek hill, and missing that sort of game breaking speed element. Just not a good day for them. But the whole approach, it's not exactly the same because the Miami Dolphins just collected so much overwhelming speed. That it's almost like, you know, this is, this is too much. This is too much speed. This is unfair to have this much speed on the field at one time. This is not quite that, but it's in the same vein. It's the overall approach of saying, we can't really do anything about the quarterback right now. We're not going to call the Chargers and get Justin Herbert, although if the charge are going to continue to use Justin Herbert in the way they are right now, maybe they do. I don't know. You're not going to get some sort of game changing quarterback in there right now. So the next best thing, thing is you just surround him with such an embarrassment, such an obscene amount of talent that it can't not work. And you seen it, click fairly well in Miami, small sample size at this point, but in San Francisco, it's still a lot of the same issues, and we know Jimmy Garoppolo is not a guy who's going to play well in second reaction. That's just never been his game. It's never going to be his game, but his decision making and his really like just sort of scattershot accuracy. It's been a deal for, you know, like three seasons now. He just fires high and wide for no particular reason too often. And I like the decisiveness he plays with most of the time. I like the sort of underneath intermediate accuracy, but there's just way too many, you know, you've got like a half dozen a game where it's just like, what is this? What are you doing? Like when I file a column, Gary, right? Half doesn't half dozen a week. Half is a week from Connor. Half dozen a week where Gary's like, what am I doing here? You're like Kyle Shanahan and you're cool ski hat, ski trucker hat. Just sorta regretting some life choices. But, you know, it's weird, right? The brand and Iook is obviously very, very fast. And I guess he's sort of their theoretical burner. And there is a necessary burner that you need that to run this offense. It's part of the ingredient to this. But I feel like where the forty-niners and the dolphins sort of diverged from their philosophies, which is really interesting. Mike mcdaniel is speed speed speed speed. And Kyle Shanahan is sort of like yak yak yak yak yak, you know? And now this is a very yak heavy team, but it's predicated so much on, like you said, the deciphered the decisiveness and the accuracy because not only do you have to get the ball out on time, you have to put it in the right spot to give them room to run. That's how they're going to make up a lot of the deficiencies in this offense. They're going to get yards after the catch. They're going to turn a 6 yard gain into a ten yard gain. That's their whole money making scheme that they have going on there. Who's the infomercial with the guy with the question mark suit? Oh yeah, he had the book. It was for a book. Yes, and it was some sort of scam, right? Oh my God. Well, I can't say for sure, but when it comes on at Comedy Central at three 30 a.m. Matthew lesko. Yes, there you go. Very good. Matthew lesko. Oh, for federal grant funding? Is that what he was doing? Free money. That's what it was called. Yeah. Federal grant, he's still alive, by the way. He got his MBA from American university. He's got two kids.

"But bumped their line a little bit. They're 14 to one to win the title. It got bumped. They were even odds today for the division. Now they're minus one ten. This trade torpedoed by Carolina beneficially. I had the wrong team. I had that. There's no fucking weather making the playoffs team. I knew it was going to be an NFC south team. I had Carolina. It looks like it might be Atlanta. Although I guess the Giants are going to count too. Really nice trade for the niners. Obviously, because what do they care about non first rounders, especially when they know the animes wide open? And other than Philly, why can't they be the two seed, their division is way worse. I think people thought, but the McCaffrey piece of it was interesting to me because this happens with athletes sometimes. You see it happen with Mike Trout, right? Mike trout was won all the MVPs, he was the best player in baseball for years and years. And the common sports fan had no Mike Trout experiences. There was no, we didn't get to watch him in October. We never got to see him in big spots. And he just kind of existed over on the side, but yet every time he did a draft or fantasy auction, whatever, Mike Trout's going for 65 bucks and it was almost like you're drafting a zombie. McCaffrey was kind of like that for football. Carolina just never really mattered. And in the football draft I had, it was like 65, 70 bucks, and he was just this guy that was happening over here. Or you'd see him on the red zone every once in a while, but it seemed relatively inconceivable. We would see him in a big game. And now he has a chance. You think about some of these guys that get to play in January and February.

"And more than McCaffrey. Yeah, I was going to say position of need down the stretch, right? You would say that pass rusher is an off injured position and it's an absolute necessity for teams making a playoff run, right? So you need, you need rotational pass rush out. Like as good as the bills are, I would ask, I would trade a second round pick for Brian burns right now. You know, even though you've got the deepest, maybe arguably the deepest pass rush in the league right now, get another

Retired Officer Barry McCaffrey Tries Downplaying Gen. Mark Milley Incompetence

"You to listen to how this, uh, tier one level grifter Nicole Wallace, who when she, you know, she made a few bucks up the Republican party. Then that's right up because they realized she was incompetent. Then she decided she could drift off the left. She's doing that now on MSNBC. Watch this grifter, and when that dries up, she'll try to come back to the Republicans. Again. Here's the dreadful Nicole Wallace again gold medal winning grifter, setting up another general Barry McCaffrey, who again tries to defend Mark Milley and listen to the way this is all phrased in couch like it's no big deal. It's just a guard rail. There is no guardrail. The president is the commander in chief. Jim play Cut. Three. I wonder if you have any insights into Millie as a guard rail. The last one as as Mike's basically explaining, you know, Throughout this whole period, I had rather firsthand understanding of what was going on and go. And it scared me. I was convinced without question that we were on the edge of a ultimate constitutional crisis. I thought it was unlikely that Trump would use nuclear weapons, although he had all legal and constitutional authority in theory command that But there's wonderful bothered me the most. So he took her defenses and acting sect out Constitution says the Senate will be involved in approving senior answers of government. There was no deal left. So I think what General Milley was doing and by the way, routinely the chairman the service Chiefs, then joint combatant commanders routinely contract With their counterparts globally, part of the the occurrence of unwanted combat. NFL Preseason: Indianapolis Colts' Jacob Eason Outshines Sam Ehlinger Win Over Carolina Panthers

"The final. Preseason game of this weekend was in indianapolis. The colts they beat the panthers twenty one to eighteen one more. Exciting games of the entire sleet we had. Pj walker formerly of the xfl re looked really good for the carolina. Panthers i mean really good. He was ten twenty. One hundred. Sixty one yards touched out a really explosive athlete. That was moving very fast. He can throw on. The run was ripping throws up the sidelines and again a great backup who could see a lot of time. Depending on what. Sam darnold does but good backup to have cuba hubbard. He'd a huge run after escaping from the pile. He can be a really nice complement to christian. Mccaffrey for carolina. If he does what he did at oklahoma state you tears marsal marshalls kind of show a little bit of what he can do. The y rec- route. Lsu who some thought. He would be a first round pick but he was second round. Pick he had three receptions for eighty yards Takeaway from this game as jacob and he looked pretty solid and the colts are going with jacob and sam etlinger two quarterbacks with a lot of experience but easing looks like the more superior quarterback he he was fifteen to twenty one hundred eighty three yards another again. Another guy with some really impressive throws a all lot of dimes this weekend but he had some really impressive throws down the field. Sam longer was ten fifteen fifty five yards. He interception but offers a little bit more of that mobility aspect to his game. So it'll be interesting to see how that battle plays out but reports coming out this week or that went his injury return. Does luke

"Have maybe ten to twenty minutes at the most of every day drills where you're working on your technique and after that didn't do a lot of school and plays and things like that so this time of year is absolutely crucial. You know we are guys man now. I mean these guys are men. A lot of them have jobs they worked. They go to school and they play football so managing their times important. And it's a big commitment. Football is a big commitment so not only showing up working hard having fun. It's up to us to get into professional instruction they need. But then you know if you're working and taking classes you have to do well in the classroom damage your time. You have to recover when you have those recovery days. Eat right Get your sleep. You're never done. Football's a twenty four hour ordeal talking to unc. Head football coach ed. Mccaffrey and i'm glad to hear it too. I'm excited to hear you talk about this team. I mean it just feels like there's buzz in the air about unc but we all specifically talking about you football. I mean how big is that for you when when you look at the plans for all this and what ultimately this weight room is gonna look like. I'm so incredibly excited. And i took the job here to any signing. "Over twenty years myself but really excited to lead our unc camps. This year offense defense camp can check. Check us out online crawford. Times that Is you know you don't have to decide who gets playing time and tampa right so you can just each. Everybody wants now having some against each other but root for each other and just have a whole lot of fun. It's one of those fun things. Every summer i look for the can't month every single summer puts a smile on my face every time. And you know. I've been touching cam so long you know. My place participated in any camps I've seen a lot of other players on have incredible Success in high school and in college and some of even in the nfl colorado products By the most fun thing to do is watch kids from different schools or even different case in some cases different backgrounds all over the world competing against each other rooting for each other making friends and so temps camps are always find. Learn a whole lot. it made a whole lot of people. And like you said to maybe hold without all the pressure necessarily. You're wanting to get better but you don't necessarily have all that pressure that you normally have is wherever these kids are playing or whatnot into the fall. Currently you're in that kind of your forget and they just try out competed going something else. This is a skill. Camp camp really helping them become better football players addition or plane. And you can't afford to make mistakes when you're competing sometimes you don't take a step back and listen and learn and experiment and try to get better. And so that's why we think these camps is so valuable. You know practice it. Try to do it the right way if you make a mistake. You're not getting hit. The you know you can just you're developing and learning and practicing the crew. Get it right folks out there listening if you're interested in learning more about these camps. Unc bears dot com slash fb camps. And we'll give that out a little bit later on to coach. Also you guys started summer conditioning Just just yesterday to talked about. I haven't had john this time because all this stuff was so up in the air last year What are you looking for at this point. I think i sprang fall. We kind of know what you're looking for as far as jailing getting the team going but what are you looking for when it comes to summer conditioning. Well i show up right work hard at work. "That have already begun. We're going to have scrimmages. Maybe i can talk a little bit about that. As prepare for a full season in the ball saying give him a little Some updates over players. Maybe even a little bit about our new quarterback of other recruits and unique coaching staff. And what we're going to be seeing this spring yeah. I'm proud of our players. Obviously i'm proud of our coaches as well. These guys worked incredibly hard. They've had to learn new technologies and meet over microsoft teams and zoom and find different ways to coach and relate to our players with the limited number of hours that were provided per week to coach them. And it's been different. It's been different but we've been back on the field and we were so excited. The weather's been great. despite a couple of big snowstorms. Our kids really excited to get on the field and bounce around and have fun and and You know sometimes we forget that as well. I mean even though it's collegiate athletic college football it's competitive. It's it's supposed to be if it's not fun you know. Then we're doing something wrong. And i've noticed a lot of positive energy from our players recently. There's great competitions going on. You know when. I first got here. We took everybody's number way that was little shocking to some of the men who had been in our program. But you know it's earns not giving and so guy started competing from day one and they're still competing for some of those numbers on their back. you know. It's not easy but our philosophy is we're going to compete against each other and for playing time for starting positions but at the same time we're gonna roof reach other to succeed help each other And and be part of the team and not just a bunch of individuals. And i've been proud with the direction and the trajectory of our team up until now the competitions are still going on and yeah we know we have a big schedule coming up in the fall. And we've got a couple of scrimmage is here in the spring but again we wake up every day and ask ourselves. What can we do to get better today. Standardize yeah coach. EU regulator says AstraZeneca vaccine 'safe and effective'

"The european medicines agency has concluded that the astra zeneca covid nineteen vaccine is safe and effective. A review of the job came after thirteen states suspended. Its use over. Fears of linked to blood clots. But the now says the vaccine is not linked with a higher risk of clots. Well for more. I'm joined from brussels by darren. Mccaffrey the political editor euronews. A darn good morning to you and thanks for joining us with the doubts then about the vaccine. Will this kind all started last week or georgina. A in italy and austria where the reports of suspected blood clots for people who received that vaccine in fact amand had died in those extended to norway last weekend's and more importantly specifically to germany on monday and that led to a whole swathe of countries at particular the big four in the european union. It's the spain and france and germany deciding to suspend the use of the astrazeneca vaccine on what they call the precautionary principle so just in case essentially and that meant that the em aid and investigated these claims and yesterday. She said e kook. The director insisted that the vaccine was safe and effective. They said they couldn't find any link at all between an increase in blood clots and the vaccine however they did also that they couldn't rule arts at that there may be one specific type. Ucla cloth that has seen an increase and they couldn't rule out that that might be linked to it book again. Mccook pointed all medicine. All medicine has got side effects. You pick up a box of paracetamol at. You'll see that. In the most extreme circumstances it is possible. You might a reaction to its the point. Is that risk does not outweigh the benefits of this vaccine is the ema insisted yesterday. There are houses of people dying every day today tomorrow the next day across europe from corona virus and that this vaccine will help save lives or stop people getting ill. It will stop the main open hospital. It will stop them dying. And that's why they have consistently said that countries should have carried on using the astrazeneca vaccine an interest in the of course while not all countries stopped it for example they didn't hear belgian said. It would be irresponsible to do so. It is interesting the eu countries. Listen to the european medicines agency yesterday but ignored advice all week. The advice consistently has been not to stop the use of the astrazeneca vaccine. Incidence of blood clots. Indeed i think from their point of view and this is where it gets complicated here in european union. Of course you've got european agency which is kind of the overarching body that authorizes drugs and authorized vaccines but you then also have national regulators. Who essentially gets to decide how those rules applied or or whether a member state should've finds by those rules when it comes to germany and where we saw a whole swathes countries at backing germany. The was the principal. There's also concerns about potential legal action because ultimately this is a state authorized vaccine service ad. That's been offered obviously to every german. And i think there was concern. That even could be farmed and they had data evidence to say that the wasn't increase increasing site. When it came to one specific type of blood clots the wilkinson's that may well open the german state of legal action and they wanted it to be investigated but yet. In retrospect all men many of these member states looking back. I answer that decision and decided it was the right one to do. Given the unfair. "Rocket wives. That's a five time is a Michigan state right now in search of some points here Rocket with the ball wide open at the free throw mind jump shot off the back rim. No good rebound comes out. Patrick McCaffrey of Iowa, about the started flat out fell down and what rocky with a wide open look, and he missed it. Thank shot by Patrick McCaffrey on the baseline, Nice feet from out front. Nobody want him bank shots up on its end. And for Patrick, that's his first two of the game. When I was 2013, Iowa Hawkeyes. They're just really shooting lights out right now against the basketball team and Michigan State Well, last couple times that have been playing great defense. It's been on the rail right now. Give I a lot of credit, but the whistle blew. There will be early foul on that one's gonna go against Keegan Murder. That's his 2nd 4th Against a lot of guys that make shoes got 3 25 on the shot clock for Michigan State Day Brattle, flipping him from the side with 10 23 left in the first. Half of play last of three straight home games from Michigan State trying to sweep all three in the way rocket watts watts download. Lob pass underneath. Bang him. Spin shoots. No nice look so 90 rebounds. Fry. One here comes to son to son out front gets it over the wing over there to Tony Perkins, a freshman, and Perkins has a ball. Taken away by rogard Ball's loose joy Hauser has it goes down, and we got a whistle that if I was gonna go against Perkins, you know you mentioned to son. It just dawned on me that tinny got against this man believed or not. He hasn't scored in a game, since course not. Just go would say that's just being snake bit. Yeah, that's a tough break. So Michigan State some nice defense. Now I need some offense. Gabe Brown fur. Three Bongo. Nice Look, Bree about Iowa to sun across the time line now for the Hawks, We're going right to left. 9 35 weapons. First half is all Iowa 28 13 Outfront Dungy Jump shot. It's good, Long three and not a hand up in his face. Is he shot there for dungeon? That's his first three and I were right now. And 11 8 of 11 from three point land that 73%. That's just unbelievable. Right now it is with the ball right now. Okay? Hard drives the baseline. Not much there. Outfront Rocket Watts makes a move. Jump shot free throw line off the rim. No good Rebound. Dungeon, Hamish. You just can't buy a basket right now and on transition baskets down to Patrick McCaffrey. Another way up. Nobody got back. That's the point Guard's job to get back and play defense. So Hauser for three out front goes in goes out. Patrick McCaffrey rebounds 33 to 13 of 20 Point game. Every down, Elaine, this time he misses rebound, Hauser to Rocket Watts. Outlet Pass. Gabe Brown Jump shot bank shot. Good. Finally, a back it almost five minutes between points for Michigan State because they needed that They had been old for their last eight. Good shot there by Brown his first two of this game. 33 15 8 20 to go in the first half. Now it's all about getting this thing tighter between now and half time really is McCaffrey of the elbow left wide open shoots. This one is no good. Rebound. Gabe Brown Here comes an issue with the boho guard wants to go all the way runs in the guards. It backs up gives it the Howser. Now bullet pass down low on the baseline, the whole garden. Nice defense by none. Gee, here comes I wanna and while a block at the other end by Gabe Brown to sock on, he had an easy layup, and Gabe Brown said. I don't think that's a huge hustle. Play there by Brown. Let's see if Michigan steak and feed off it Ready. Come from it. Great Great hustle plays. Specially for my guy that hasn't played much know over the last month 7 40 left in the first half. I was 33, Michigan State, 15 out front rock and white savior on the shot clock. Now I get to Overhauser comes along one from the wing. No good rebound comes out to Tony Perkins of Iowa should say now, oh, of seven from a long line Unanimous you out, rebounded. I when I was sitting, but so far it's been one and done most of the time in this half, which means I will because of how well they're playing. Offensively is leading the rebounding 15 to 10. So now loaded Garza Garzon being him up in underscores it So he's got five and this now 35 15, Iowa seven to go first half There comes Joy House Information State out front Gate Brown wide open three bucks. Got it. There we go, Gabe Brown. Maybe it's gonna heat up. We need him in this one. So that makes it 35 18. You gotta start somewhere. Damn issue two of its last 11 shots here. Come on, guys. Patrick McCaffrey with the ball to sign my past. I'm holding Garza. He's making his movies. Double team ball. Knocked away Gets it out to Sun won't shoot the three Stuart as it he wants you to neither down. Though they go to Nagi. He makes a move on joy hazard. His bank shot is no good, but he's found out of three seconds left on the shot clock. Then she got right around Hauser, who got the file And for joy. That's his first foul of this game, Fourth against Michigan State. By the way, it's a new day a day to celebrate and be free..

"McCaffrey a jump shot off the mark. No rebound guards. It's up, and it's in in these files, well markets. Bingham did a good job of not allowing cars of the first time around, but on the kick out, did not do his work down Low. Garza with that easy offensive rebounds, so the phallus on Henry that's the first foul of the basketball game and in the game I was sitting in coach pointed out the fact that day and six times where they got a bucket and a free throw, and that's a lot. That's a lot. They got one here early. A big key in this game is not allowing that to happen much. Luca Garza, 72% free throw shooter on the year and he makes it. So. Those are the first three points of the game for the Hawkeyes. So the MSU lead is trimmed to one. So Bingham's gonna come out real quickly and coming in and no Short order is joyous, marvelous 68 to 25 software from Dallas, Texas, averaging four point to a game. Yeah, well, Hawkeye's extend the defense. Little bit, man. You surprised marbles and so fast. Well, they well know that I think Michigan State guys want to talkto him a little bit. We'll see how long becomes on the bench with the ball. Henry has troubles Ball squirts away. Two guards. Here comes I will. Ah, floater in the paint. No. Goodbye, Connor Mccaf, three rebound. You're in hand, right? Here comes the Michigan State with a 1.43 lead with 18 18 to go first half of play from East Lansing down low. It's marble kicks it on the round horn. It goes Henry driving stops floater. Good. Nice work by our Henry right over the top of weeks. Camp. That's his first two. I love the way he took his time to get that shot off. Easy bucket there for Henry. I'm a shoe clearly goes as he goes. 63 Spartans by 3 17 55 to go three. Murray out front. Nothing but that hand with just one shot. We're tied. It said there. Henry dared him to shoot. He's not a great shooter. Here comes I miss you. Family call goes flying down The lane runs right into Lucas Garza. We've got a whistle in the body language means anything. I think they're gonna call that on Luca Garza. I hate to say it. He was set here. But Michigan State maybe got away with one. But I like the fact on early foul here on local Garza after what happened and I was sitting here. Do a couple. I think that might have been a little bit of lobbying done by the coaching staff to get that phone call. We'll take it now. Why not first? Valent Luca, first Valentine Hot guys and align Paul shots away. It is good. That's his first point here this afternoon. Molly call comes in pretty good free throw shooter and 67%. But I mentioned he was active against Penn stakeout of the free throw line seven times, but he Did that by driving to the basket just like he did there. You know, he's kind, more basketball skills and people give him credit for. I think very good. Offensively is only a sophomore. She's only gonna get better. Mr Second, one rebound. We camp here comes I win a big hurry. Downloaded Garza. They got him doubled. Charlotte's partially blocked by Malik home again of the whistle. Well, the quick whistle as he was almost triple teamed have found is gonna go. I couldn't quite see it. Well, it's gonna be a marble. I think my advance his first and that's the second against Michigan State. They both have comment the expense of trying to stop Garza. So for the second time this afternoon, the big guy from I was going to be at the free throw line. He's one for one so far this afternoon shots away. No good. He has one more comment. Michigan State leading this thing by a single 10.76 guards has got three of those six Iowa points. And on that offense there, Garza just sprinted down the core. I got to the block early. Michigan State defenders got to beat him down their second one's away is a bookie. Miss both of them. Rebound. Molly, call here comes Miss. You Stay with the ball. Langford. Jump shot, elbow up off the front room. No tip. No good out of bounds off of Michigan State. We should mention the fact that Thomas Kinnear has checked in the 68 to £30 Junior from Clarkston averages 3.1 a ballgame. He replaced Marble. So we got lawyer out there and Langford. Henry Hall and Kip here, So basically, coaches are when he used all of his from light people. Waste of 17 12 to go in the first half. He talked about throwing the kitchen sink at. I will, Big man and he certainly is. He's doing it. Nine on the shot clock for I was in the wing. Here comes a three ball by Bohannon. Nothing but net. That's his first three of the game. And now the Hawkeyes leading 97. Here comes Mr ST Thomas has it download working on Garza spends bank shot short Rebound guards Here comes I want both ball clubs. You're in a big hurry. Bohannon directing traffic. It's on the verge of becoming the wrong time Assistant who was already there all time, three ball shooter, and if he keeps going, he will leave. I was the Big ten's best at making the most threes. Nine on the shot clock for the Hawkeyes. Murray has it now, you wee scamp out front. He's got a fire along three and the guy that doesn't make very money and all matter of fact, he's only made one of his last seven shots. Just got three. And now the Hawkeyes needed 12 7. I knew the shot clock was running down. He had to force it in Iowa, now on a six year old run, so MSU brings it down counter kicks it out of bounds on a pass down low. So 25 the shark like Miss, you say flips it in with the ball out front. Langford, now the hall trying to set Kids here. It's Kip here and Garza. Not much there, not a Langford mid range jumper from the window, Nothing, but that's my gosh. Langford is a beautiful mid range game. He's got four now. 12 the nine I was leading Michigan State with 15 49 to go down low. Now, back out front. Caffrey will try another one. No good rebound gathered up by foster lawyer and we got a whistle. I was gonna be on Josh Langford boxing out. We'll follow against a spark. Well, that'll bring it. Through our first time out here this afternoon 15 44 to go first half of play. It's I was 12, Mr ST Nine more in the moment right here on the TCF Bank Spartan meeting that work. At Farm Bureau insurance. We cover Michigan from Spartan Stadium to the Breslin Toe Month. Yep, we're Spartan fans to way covered touchdowns to tailgates slap shots to storm damage and backboards, too. Floorboards were there for good times, Hard times and pastimes. Yep, we're a proud partner of Michigan State.

"So dylan cafes coming to. Unc you already have. Max mccaffrey the wide receivers coach now. Of course you know that ed. Mccaffrey is the head coach yet to coach his first game because the well the bears opted to play in spring. But now they're opting to not play this spring some kind of very varied schedule. I'm not even sure what that looks like for the bears. I mean we cover the games colfax so at some point. We're going to need to get that information. but i. i really don't know what that looks like for coach. Mccaffrey and company but Yeah we will put our requests out as we tend to do to try to get coach. Mccaffrey on the program. And perhaps get dylan. Mccaffrey on the program. It's not every day and espn three hundred recruit a four star guy. Those playing michigan transfers to the university northern colorado. I mean it's obviously you understand. Why but i mean what's what's going to happen here. I mean i know dylan broke his collarbone in two thousand eighteen. Just couldn't take starting job there in michigan. I look at that and go. Where could he have gone somewhere else. Or is this okay. You wanna come to you. Want to come to you and see and then break records. Because i told you i go back talking to prep. I said the. I don't know what caliber player he is anymore after the injury. And everything but If you want to go to the next level you can't just come to you and see and win. You're gonna have to break all the records you're going to have to win like carson wentz type. Guy did right. You're going to have to break records you're gonna have to win titles after titles and not lose. So maybe maybe that's what's gonna happen. Mccaffrey comes in. And he's just spectacular and unc. Lose two games in three years. Wow i wanna talk about this more. I do auto taylor though for for sponsoring this program. I take my vehicles there to get them. Worked on my my wife's vehicle there and that's the precious vehicle. The one that takes my wife takes kiddo around that one has to be has to be taken care of one hundred percent and that's auto taylor know whether it's something going on with the vehicle or an oil change is needed. In greeley first advantage text line is nine seven four seven eight thirteen one nine seven four seven eight. Thirteen o one. I guess this just has a good takes us back. To the whole ed mccaffrey higher. I very skeptical about what mccaffrey is gonna do. Come game time again. He had two years of high school. What valor christian. Two years of head high school of head head coaching at high school. He won a championship. But valor wins championships. All the time. So i do. I disagree with the move from the beginning. No hell no. That was the news and unc needed. Something more than a guy that might have a good history at coaching at the f. c. s. level. I wanted marty english. I put by a guy i wanted. But then and i never even heard the mccaffrey name pop up until i'm walking to see issues. Press conference to introduce stephen zeo. Then i'm hearing ed mccaffrey. Suddenly and it was crazy. I go into for collins. I go into campus. I walk into the champions room there. Or whatever it's called and i mean i'm looking at all the reporters they're looking at their tweets going off and that's the story before steve azero ever ever took the stand ever took the microphone. Took the stand. Everyone up talked to the mike. That was the news it was ed. Mccaffrey so yes. Regard they might. They could lose their every game for the next two to three years. It's still would have been the right move. I still very skeptical about what this means. Football wise. What kind of football move. It was dylan. Mccaffrey seems like on paper. He's one of the best players in the big sky conference right now i again i. I'm blown away when we heard that he was transferring. Everybody joked and said well is he gonna come to. Unc gonna play for his dad and that was a joke. And here we are. He's gonna play. Unc christian mccaffrey. Of course you'll you might know his name. Probably the best player in the nfl. Maybe one of them Top top ten. He tweeted out. This is going to be historic story. Stay tuned what does it mean is christie. Gonna come over here. Is he going to retire early. We get all of the mccaffrey's going nuts. Beer at said can the rockies trade for the lions boy this rockies thing is tough we're going to get to the rockies. We're going to get to nolan. But don't we debate stats. We don't debate a lot of championship. Runs or wins that kind of thing. 'cause the rockies haven't had a lot of playoff experiences so i want to get to that i'll get similar texts coming back when we do return. Yes more dylan mccaffrey. More nolan iron auto and the quarterback situation for the broncos and how to call yokich he continues to pad that resume for. Mvp forty seven points. Yesterday he's on fire. "I totally agree with where you're coming from. He's not going to be able to win you games alone and he's not going to carry it to the playoffs every year. He did not do in detroit he can win. He can win with him but he needs other pieces there and so it was a huge upgrade for the broncos to go from you know one of the worst quarterback rooms in the league to average. But he's not a top five guy like shawn watson as And so the ceiling. The the highest ceiling for the broncos in terms of a quarterback. This offseason realistically was not matthew stafford. It was getting a quarterback in the first round. That's a guy that has the highest feeling and that option is still on the table. We're talking to zach stevens of. Dnv are broncos anzac when you look at this the quarterback thing where the broncos kind of maybe show their hand that okay. We are willing to upgrade drew. Lock in your experience covering the broncos and covering the nfl. Does this affect two quarterbacks mental mental state. Because now he knows okay you and i can talk about getting rid of drew. Lock to fans can talk about getting rid of drew lock. But if it's not coming from the front office and your coaching staff you're feeling okay. At least they believe in me. Is this something where it's like man. This is going to be tough to go back from now. The broncos showed their hand that they are interested in In upgrading at that quarterback position. Yeah drew hasn't done enough in his. Nfl career truly get a upset about that and have some public remarks about that. Come out just because he he is improvement enough And if he was more of a veteran quarterback that had success and to the franchise quarterback then absolutely. This would be an issue. But what. I think we're going to see come out. Is how much more of. How many more moves do the broncos. Try to make an order to upgrade quarterback and then that would be even more than indictment is something that drew could legitimately be be upset about is if they go out and you know. Try to trade for sam darnold and for some reason. That doesn't work out. They tried to trade up in the first round to get a quarterback if they keep doing all of these things then it might get to that point that you're talking about but right now just trying to to be in on the matthew stafford really drew shouldn't have Enough behind him to get upset about that. Do you see the broncos with that news like you talked about with with the detroit situation. Do you see the broncos leaning towards that quarterback position and probably ask you every week. We have gone back because i think with the news. It's going to change on one hand. I'd love to see that cornerback filled. I'd love to see 'certain. But i don't think i'm gonna be mad at a quarterback for denver even if it's a bus down the road because you just got to keep trying until you find that guy. Yeah and i would not be surprised at that. I don't know how you can be Because like i said this was the first time we've got any indication of what george peyton. Thanks drew lock. And if he went back and watched the film these past couple of weeks and said holy cow men. Pat shurmur was running the wrong steam for him and was giving reasons why didn't have success in and was saying it wasn't drew's fault. Well then the broncos aren't going to do willing to give up a first round pick to get matthew stafford but the fact that we saw george peyton go out and was willing to give up equivalent of a first round pick. That says that those initial reviews are not very good. So how could i then come back and say that okay. Now since they didn't get matthew stafford he's going to be okay with rolling withdrew and not look at any other options. Because like i said matthew stafford a good quarterback but not nothing better than you know maybe just slightly above average and with the ninth overall. Pick brady if you love a guy you definitely think. He has a higher ceiling than you know. Just slightly above average quarterback. We're talking to zach stevens of dvr broncos zach. What what do you think this is telling us about. First round picks now and again. This deal gets done future picks. But we're hearing you know. I don't know how realistic aaron rodgers leaving. Green bay doesn't sound like it now. But you're hearing when we talk about quarterbacks oh three first round picks for the shawn watson if not if not more than that. What's it gonna take from ask staff or what's it gonna take for. Aaron rodgers are our teams. Now and again i know. The quarterback is always king. But we're getting to the point where we're devaluing the draft so much that we're willing to not even participate in a first round for three to four years depending on what the asking price is. Yeah i mean sean. Mcvay is totally. Okay we'll take a night one of the draft off. I mean he. He's not gonna have a first round. Pick until i believe what twenty twenty five twenty twenty four right now that is absolutely wild and of courses last first round pick was jared back in two thousand sixteen. And what's very interesting about. This is yes brady. You're absolutely right. Some teams are going. This route of saying we would way rather have a known commodity Especially quarterback than than the unknown. Because we don't wanna swing and miss if we can swing and hit a double light like like the rams are doing with matthew stafford there and trading two first round picks for him but with interesting is been on the opposite side of the rams. You have the denver broncos. Then you have george peyton saying we are going to draft and develop that is going to be the lifeblood of our organization and he was willing to give away some draft capital in order to get matthew stafford but he wasn't willing to give away everything and giveaway multiple first round picks. So that's something right now. How i feel is if the broncos don't go out and make a significant move at quarterback position in free agency or you know trading for sam darnold something like that then. The broncos will draft a quarterback in the first round this year however if they do make a significant move at quarterback in free agency. Where you're saying okay. That's the hedge. That's the guy that's going to be here to compete with drew this year. That's the route they're going. i think. The broncos trade back in the first round In order for the broncos to pick up even more picks do the draft develop even more underpaid. When you look around the court used mentioned. Sam darnold one of them whether that's going to be for a trade or free agency when you look around. Who makes sense to you. Zack that you'd bring in and not not beat. Drew lock out but on them and then opened up a competition whose whose name keeps rising as far as the top of your list once we get past the to sean. Watson's and matt stafford. Yeah unfortunately i think violence maybe fairly different from the broncos list my list. I like to look at guys with with the highest upside out there Because the guy that if you're going to have them compete withdrew isn't just going to be a guy that gets you to seven or eight wins going to be a guy that can turn into your guy if you're going that route this year so i look at jameis. Winston's of the world How about a gardener. Minhsiu he. he's guy where A lot of people get caught up in his mustache. But he's the guy that does not throw interceptions he has twenty starts in the nfl and only eleven interceptions. That's the guy that i could actually see vic fangio getting behind he brings them. He bring some fun to the broncos and he'd actually bring pretty darn good quarterback play as well but some names that i don't think are going to go away with being connected to the broncos and way way less sexy names out there brady. It's the andy dalton of the world. It's tyrod taylor's of the world. It's the jacoby percents of the world's those guys that that. I think we're just going to keep hearing more and more about potentially becoming broncos. I'm wondering if that's the route so we had the poll question earlier. Today is drew. Lock going to be the starting quarterback ben. This has been a roller coaster. Honestly act because one week i feel like drew's time in denver is done. It's over with there's way and then the next week i get back added. I'm thinking this is gonna go. Drew lock route one more year. I don't see them going to hard and free agency. Maybe they do draft a quarterback but who knows maybe drew lock still the starting quarterback. There's a. I feel differently every single week about drew lock. It's really really true. And that's what makes this offseason. So fun is all of the uncertainty surrounding and brady where i am right now as much as i want the broncos to draft a quarterback in the first round this year. And that's what i would do. I just think with with this offseason likely being another covert offseason. I don't think the broncos won a half to turn to a rookie without getting any offseason time right now. So i'm there with you right now. I think it's going to be drew. in a veteran hedge. And we'll just see how How how much competition. The broncos bring in at hedge is it a guy that can come in and start right away or is it a guy.

EU pressures AstraZeneca to deliver vaccines as promised

"Leaders across europe according on brussels to impose measures to curb the export of corona virus vaccines as tension grows across the eu. Over the sputtering rollout of vaccinations. Germany is the most vocal demanding. The european commission toughen export rules to ensure drug orders of being met. This comes amidst claims about so-called vaccine nationalism from countries already dealing with shortages of doses because of manufacturing delays. While i'm joined now from brussels by darn mccaffrey. Who's euronews political editor. Darren good morning to you and thanks for joining us. What what has prompted these measures. So it's all kind of started last weekend when astra zeneca announced that it would not be able to meet the numbers of vaccines that the european union had been expecting in the first quarter of this year. In fact it suggested that it will be able to deliver only around forty percents of what originally thought it might be able to produce. This was an addition to pfizer. Also a couple of weeks ago saying that they were not going to be able to quite meet the the numbers of vaccines to the european union and the on because altered problems. Astrazeneca has blamed it on the fact that they're not deal with vaccine particularly at the plant in belgium and had hoped ultimately are not going to be able to essentially achieve the the number of jobs that the european commission thought contractually that astrazeneca had promised them now. Things got pretty difficult to the start of the week in a very public war of words. Clearly the commission. The commission was quite angry. Frustration with astra zeneca. There were several phone calls between on the line and the ceo of astra zeneca with the eu demanding. Essentially that they find vaccines from elsewhere. Of course the vaccine is made in different parts of the world most notably in the uk where there is no effect on the supply and what we heard then last night however was from the astrazeneca ceo in an interview which accused the european emotional. At essentially it signed contracts much later than the uk don and that the glitches that was being that had proven to be showing up in the production. The vaccine in belgium was done to the fact that the eu took three months later to sign contracts at dan the u. k. And so what. We've now got this very public battle. Almost a war. I would say between both sides and so what is it that the eu is proposing so the suggestion essentially they argue for transparency reasons the vaccines that are manufactured in the european union. The pharmaceutical companies need to give notification of precisely what's manufactured. How many are where it's going to if they are going to leave the eu now. The germans have gone somewhat further suggesting that if they're not getting their so called fair share off the vaccines at that. They may well blockades those axioms from leaving the e u all together to ensure that european union's proportionally. Don't lose arts now. This would have an impact for example the uk when it comes to the astrazeneca vaccine because it is manufactured in the uk but it would have an impact on the pfizer vaccine which is produced indulgent. Now clearly would be pretty dramatic stuff for the eu to start to do this. Many would accuse the european union off. As you say prompting vaccine wars vaccine nationalism. Something would have thought. The eu itself would accuse others off if they were to do. It's not what we said. Brussels so far are not backing. The germans want to see they are saying that this puree of our transparency though given the fact that the head of astra zeneca yesterday seemed to be laying blame at the european commission's door so this fiasco that the pharmaceutical company itself and the commission data so far not published the contracts which. Mep's in calling for four weeks suggests that today attention will turn to precisely what is in those contracts and has the commission itself nest up. We must also. I am not forget this really important. Point that actually. The european medicines agency to date has not authorized the astrazeneca vaccine so this all seems rather semantic to a degree though that authorization is probably expected on friday

Will Houston Texans trade QB Deshaun Watson?

"I tell you. I don't know if houston will actually trae does shawn watson because there. They would be idiots if they did. But it is houston but it is houston a. b. if shawn watson is the one asking for the trade than you at least have to give it consideration because you do not want an unhappy quarterback because then that turns into an unhappy team. Yeah and if if you're a new general manager there's no better way to make a statement then to immediately come in and get a franchise quarterback that still in his prime. Yeah just ask the question. What would you trade for. Deshaun watson and i will make this easy for the both of you. I will go ahead and give you my answer. Whatever in the hell houston basically literally. I would trade them whatever they want you can name player a draft pick or a combination of the two and i would agree. I think from a team building perspective. That's the way to go. I just like from a panthers fan perspective. I wanna keep the players that we have that. I like no green other sites that coin. Yeah the fan in me. I don't wanna trae brian burns. I don't wanna trade. Jeremy chinn don't wanna trade dj more. I don't wanna trade christian mccaffrey house and say yeah. I mean i don't order those guys. But if houston asked for any combination of them. I would do it. You don't get the opportunity. To get bonafide franchise quarterbacks five years old still in the prime under a reasonable contract. In the first year he would only count like ten and a half million dollars against our salary cap this year now next year that have to do an extensive because his cap number jumps to like thirty five million. They would have to figure out a way around that but they could do it.

Brexit negotiations extended

"The brexit negotiations have been extended. It's been a tense weekend of talks which ended without a resolution except that the teams will continue to bargain. Darn mccaffrey's urine news political editor. Ann joins me now. Darna blustery man and a crumpled face and impeccably turned out an utterly composed woman libertine and lutheran images of boris johnson's meeting with usher underlying dominated the front pages and it seemed to me at least pretty much characterize the tone of the brexit negotiations. So can you tell us what happened over the weekend will in many ways. Of course the talks restarted. Again as you say. After that meeting with vonda line and boris johnson in brussels on wednesday nights they did seem not make an awful awful lot of extra progress. They inched forward to a large degree editor. Tina particularly in this area of the level playing field dot es britain would have to adhere to many of the rules and regulations of the european union for years to come that wants to have access to the single market particularly on this idea of divergence. Oh britain wants to forge. Don't power in the world committee regards. That's what brexit is. All rexiti is all about was the european union since she says well. If you do that that means consequences. It means. We may well the limit your access to the single market and the have been suggestions that it britain diverged. Too far the cop. Some of those rules and regulations that brussels could put on what a cold kind of like tariffs taxes on some of its goods to try and keep it into line. And that's been the really controversial area on that point. Europe seems to be conceding some ground that may be britain might be able to reciprocate by doing exactly the same to the eu all that the independent all between posts deciding if britain is undercut those regulations. That in the end that process is a bit more complicated and drawn out and then the eu it initially anticipated all although that's an awful lot of detail on what is a minor point there are still these inefficient gaps but there is a sign of progress and the reason that the talks continued. Go beyond yesterday is done to kind of to simple reasons. A neither side wants to be seen to walk away from these talks. Georgina no wants to collapse them. Because ultimately they'll always be a blame game about who brought about the no deal brexit and second of all you know it may well bore us all to death and there's no home and carry on talking no one loses so why not talk until the cows come home or indeed the. We're not allowed fireworks in us even till they're crackers get pulled. Whatever happens on new year's eve this year. So i mean the talks could actually go on until the deadline which is the thirty first of december. We'll in practical terms not really. Id so that the front pages of today's daily telegraph suggests that talks could carry on until new years. That's the headline. at least though. It doesn't suggest what year which is likely distancing. No i in theory. And i think we all kind of i keep saying this into the last week. I was told last week by an eu diplomat that were looking at the eighteenth around the as well as the last days to secure agreement because then we really all pushing the envelope in terms of actually just having time at all for both the european parliament and the british folder to ratify this agreement. Because it will have to be. There is a deal will need to be ratified by both parliaments. Not there is talk and with the eu everything is flexible that potentially it could be agreed by e you leaders and ratified provisionally in the new year. So almost in retrospect. I'm not entirely sure that can happen with the uk parliament but you know talks will continue at some stage. Somebody's gonna have to make a decision though. I mean they cannot continue indefinitely. And as you've said as the telegraph suggested they definitely cannot continue beyond news because of the legal deadline that is in place. But i mean there are also things like for instance tax systems need more than a fortnight to boot up to change various things. We're also being told that supermarkets have been ordered to stock up the goods. In event of a no deal will cost twenty percent more that there are interim measures to keep planes flying and so on. I mean there's so much detail that needs to be worked out the things that are really interesting about this first of all even if there is a deal it's only really covering about twenty cents of the existing rules and normality. That's already in place which means that's eighty. Percents is either having to be made up by changes that businesses are having to make stuff that you and i won't see but will cost them time and money and additionally the will be disruption because of course will be extra checks at borders particular over in calais and that means that we will see many more pictures of those lorries cues them for after aftermarket after mile. And you're right. We all still likely to see an increase in food prices to a degree. If there is no deal that gets worse because the tariffs potentially william place will be in place sterling will potentially fall even further on those two factors will mean that food prices will likely increase the destruction means that supermarkets already ordering goods talk about destruction to medical supplies and also in the amended. No deal as you rightly dives there will still have to be many deals. Don't breakneck speed to ensure that you know planes continue to be able to fly into european espace. That lorries are able to even enter the opinion so even if there is no overall trade agreements that will still have to be some deals just to make sure that things carry on beyond the. I generally in a relatively normal way now. What about the navy. The royal navy has been told that it should patrol to police channel waters To to stop illegal fishing as it may well be by then Charles michel the president of the european council referring to that said the britain was not lose. Its cooling. Go overboard he said. I'm trying to be serious on the european side. At least we keep our sang for. Yeah i think we'll see what happens with the role now. I mean even in the event of not we'll see what happens with the law. Maybe i'm sure they will patrol and all we're going to get into fish wars that we saw. I think it was back in the nineteen seventies involving iceland's when it really did get a bit nasty and ships were sunk certainly pretty badly damaged in wars over fishing there. You have to remember the european union in its deal contingency. Planning junior suggested that. If britain bolts these breakneck speeds kind of temporary deals. That i was talking about when it comes to the ability to move call goran or indeed planes that they would have to concede that the current agreement on fishing would continue for at least another year. Which makes me think that in the ends. That probably was likely to happen. Not least of all as well because we have to remember no deal. I deal on. Fishing may be banned from both sides and fishing but no deal is also bad. And i'm not entirely sure that the fishing communities of the east coast of england or northern france. Want no deal either. Because that may mean they don't have access to each other's waters but given the acrimony were to see in the nastiness in no deal. Brexit may will also mean that those uk fishermen for example will not be able to sell the fish to the european market.

All evidence points to the Big Ten being the best league in America for a second straight season

"Today, turn our attention to the big ten where I have Iowa winning the regular season title while Norlander has pegged Illinois as the. Favourite and Wisconsin to finish second. So let's start there. Norrland explain to me why you're being totally disrespectful the frame McCaffrey to Luca Garza to this public research university that was founded in eighteen forty seven at CBS sports me Jerry Paul David all have Iowa in the top two but you and strong JAL cow bone have Iowa third in the big ten. Explain Yourself. This is gene wilders Al-Matar we're talking about for crying out loud. Oh, there we go. Something tells them you've been snooping around the Iowa wikipedia page. That's where I get all my goodland ACM forty, seven trivia gets on. What's the oldest institution in the Big Ten? Let's let's what do we think it is big ten rules. What's two oldest one founded first? What's our guest founded? I I'm running through right now I'm going to say it's Penn State Penn. State's your guests I'm going to go. I'M GONNA go man is a tough one I'm going to say. That's a good one. I'M GONNA say Michigan I'M GONNA Michigan sealed list no idea by the way no idea someone chips someone pleads tweet us and let us know I don't know when the oldest we could. Actually we could go and look through all the wikipedia pages in real time here. But let's let's make a fun quick podcast here you want to know why I have. Iowa. Third I'll let you WanNa know what that's what I want. That's what you want to I'll let you know that I talked with Sam visine yesterday good old Sam. Who May who may appear on this podcast remember never know it's always out there. He actually asked me where I have Iowa in my one, two, three, fifty seven and I said, well, I'm GonNa have them in the top ten but I'm actually going to have them behind. Illinois in Wisconsin. He goes. You're absolutely right and I don't know how many people are gonNA. Agree with you. But I'm with you hundred percent and the reason why is this this team has the preseason national player of the year and Luca Garza it's got a great talent and Joe Camp. Jordan bohannon terrific Khanna McCaffrey. Great. But defensively, there's enough there that are not there that I'm going to. Just sell a bit on a twenty eleven team from last season ninety, seven defensive efficiency at Ken Palm. I like Wisconsin's overall team just a smidge better smidge and I do like Illinois I think he's GonNa be the best team in the big ten. So I love that we have we need some more genuine disagreement on the podcast here I've got Illinois definitely as the as the best team in the big ten and then Wisconsin and then Iowa. But in the Grand Scheme of the sport, I, think those are three of the ten best teams in college basketball. We agree on that have Iowa fifth in the top twenty five in one. Illinois six and Wisconsin Tint So. You know. We're all in the same ballpark and I do think you can reasonably despite. My anger at the top of the podcast I do think you can reasonably have those three teams in. Any order as for Iowa. Five players last season start at least twenty games all five or back plus they get Jordan Bohannon Beck, they finish twenty third at. Kim. Tom. But they were 97th in defense of efficiency and quite clearly if you're trying to look for a reason why Iowa isn't actually going to break through and make the final four for the first time since nineteen eighty. Where you start is on the defensive side of the ball ninety seven defensive efficiency. It's hard to be great when you are that bad on the defensive end of the court,

Boris Johnson will delay decision on quitting Brexit trade talks

"The brexit transition period is due to expire on the thirty first of December at which point the UK will leave the single market without a deal unless an agreement with the EU is reached in the next few weeks British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said he wanted the broad outlines of the deal to be in place by the time the European Council Summit begins, today. The McCaffrey is your news political editor. He joins me on the line from Brussels could money cheat today it's the deadline. So why aren't we walking away? In this process is brexit process. We're very very used to deadlines coming and going out we gene and two large degree. At today he's GonNa come and go again and what we're expecting is no deal at the end of today when. Leaders meet in Brussels who were also not expecting Britain at top walk away either in fact we're expecting. Probably weeks of negotiations. Why is that I? Think because progress has been made though it is interesting last night the Boris Johnson spoke to US London line the EU Commission, Presidents and chose Michelle the EU council president in a joint to call and he. Exposure of his disappointment that the had not being a substantial or not progress. But clearly think that there is still an opportunity to get a deal. Hence why these talks will continue. We have to remember at the end of all of this book Britain and the e You have repeatedly said, they do wolves future trade deal I. Think both of them are willing to give it another shot of you like a bit more time So what are the underlying issues that holding up this process? Will listen to you though kind of three key areas in all of this at first of all is the so-called level playing fields or state AIDS, which is essentially the e you wanting you to adhere to the same rules and regulations to a large degree that and they already do as a former member of the European Union and things like environmental protections, food standards, for example, so that Britain can't undercut those in a more competitive way and join to that is this issue of state AIDS. The idea that the state can subsidize heavily industries to keep them afloat if you like, and again the EU is king the Britain essentially really can do that because it could convey. Could gain a competitive edge. Undercut the E. U., two degree now Britain would point out and rightly so some would say that actually if there is any part of the two sides who are used to subsidizing their industries, it's more likely to be countries like France and Italy than it needs to be the UK or indeed Germany for example, who just failed out Lufthansa to the tune of ten billion euros I mean the UK hasn't yet bailed out any of Big Airlines then disease you have governance How to settle speech future future disputes in essence the EU, has conceded that it's no longer going to be the European Court of Justice and they're trying to work out to kind of independent tradition if you like. And then finally, there's this kind of issue of fishing which economically is not important either to the EU or the UK in the sense it doesn't really make much of any countries economies to large degree, but it is politically symbolic. Ephraim. Brexit. As it will is what Brexit was all of out retaining sheesh water and also some European countries. It's incredibly symbolic importance at French fishermen, for example, or at pretty significant force in France and Emmanuel macron is staring down election in the not too distant future. So that is an issue. That actually is always the most difficult of issues because as as a Britain wants to gain back control of its waters, the EU still wants to be allowed to fish in those waters and it suggesting that if it cannot will. Then Britain is not going to be able to sell its fish to the rest of Europe and that is by far the largest markets. So shortly, collapse the whole deal on fishing. Think not though there are genuine concerns that it could be at the key issue. In the trade talks over the next couple of weeks, not least of all, because as become this to the issue in from both sides that for Britain. It's very symbolic as I say what Brexit is, they are absolutely determined. That they can have you know European fishermen essentially in the seas for years and years to come. Katrina to the fish they just think that is fundamentally unacceptable. It is not in essence taking back control. For the EU are equally determined. That if Britain wants to gain access to it single market by selling fish and eighty I, think it's eighty percent of British Fisher exploited in sixty percents. In, total those to the rest of the EU then. You're. Not, GONNA be able to sell your fish and you can have all your efficient chips he wants, but they'll have to be British people are going to eat them and not the EU, and they would also point that actually half of the so-called Bush's boats that fish in fresh waters at the moment are actually forward. So in practical terms, would it make that much difference I think the compromise, the them at may well come, and with this idea of quotas every year that potentially will start where we all now and year after year decrease. On a negotiated faces a bit like Norway has dumb but for Emmanuel macron fishing is a key key factor in all of this. Simply because you know French, fishermen are a potent political force but for the countries like Germany. In essence fishing's not very important and they would be very, very disappointed when push on for the deal to collapse on that single issue. So I mean what happens next and is a no deal Nella a probability rather than A. So. When you talk to people here and is being a whole range of MVP's and official yesterday, they were putting it at a probability of sixty percents. Gene essentially, that will be no deal, which is point stalk in many ways given the fact that we are getting into the game and we really all because time is to Michelle Volley ticking in this process I think what will happen next though is that they will conclude. Leaders at tomorrow that enough progress has been made and the talk should continue. I expect the British will accept that and talks will continue for the next couple of weeks. up until. Either the end of this month or the start of next. But then a deal is going to have to be done or essentially both sides have to accept the will be no deal because ultimately if there is to be a deal, it is a massive. Weighty Hefty document that has to be translated into all the official languages of the EU. EU Paul, we'll have to vote on the British parliament, some national parliaments to and so that decision will have to be pretty soon at the start of the next month because ultimately, they'll only have up until the end of to send the. It's because Boris Johnson his always all. And that he will not extend beyond December thirty. First, we've heard of course that before I think this time that really is a hard deadline and so at the Mo- wind, you'd have to conclude or less things substantially change that you know no deal. Is a real. Possibility, but probability, how is the British parliament reacting to this brinkmanship? Well, there's this. Thing is when we kind of what? It's not weird actually, it's probably not surprising the tool. But, it's not really consuming European on British national politics. At the moment clearly, we're in the middle of a pandemic. Clearly everyone's focusing on not just the fact that there is a second surge affecting almost every corner of Europe and deed every corner of the British isles. And Other increasing restrictions, talks about lockdown. So not not anyone's really talking about Brexit I think. Boris. Johnson's going to take enough majority that no deal is not good to trouble him like it. It was last year when there was a possibility that the government collapse on the issue I don't think that's GonNa happen this time round for the genuine concerns in Britain about what this will mean. Already, the government is already having to spend millions and millions of pounds to get a border posts. Customs checks to employ people essentially to work on that border from the first of January and no matter what the trade will be there will be extra checks a respectable. What happens

Xbox Series X First Impressions With Danny Pea

"Right let's get into it. Britney I. See that the first story on the docket of course is xbox series x you guys have been on social media. This morning you may have seen that a bunch of outlets have been getting some hands on time with the new council that is slated to debut November and Peretz has got the details I have some of the deals who okay. So so these are hands on details regarding specifically backward compatible games, low times and quicker zoom. I feel like that's the only stuff that these outlets cover and if you want some really deep deep dives where they go into all the technical nitty-gritty, read the articles but I just kind of pulled some of the. High level thoughts here from certain outlets. So this one I one comes from venture beat quotes. Microsoft designed the XBOX series x to address the shortcomings that developers and Gamers have had to deal with since two thousand thirteen, the week, CPU that is held back world designed simulation complexity, the old laps laptop style hard drives that slow down the interface and the Games and the I o architecture that would bottleneck even an internal SEC. All of that is why veered so hard into PC gaming in two thousand fifteen and I'm hoping that the launch of the xbox series excellent enable us bury those tired old machines. This is the console that we should have had years ago and I'm so ready for it. The next one comes from the verge, the experts series x felt like I was playing on a familiar xbox that's a lot faster and more capable. The experience of switching back to an xbox was genuinely dispiriting for running my exist xbox games. The series x feels like I just upgraded my iphone everything feels smoother and faster. That's what she said from the verge and finally from Gamespot I was able to keep six games simultaneously. Suspended in quick resume and hop between them to pick up right where I left off when a Buddhist seventh game the first game I queued up in the process to be relaunched. So I lost the exact spot where I have left it suspended in there doesn't seem to be a warning when you're about to cause another game state to close completely but let's be honest having six games held in quick resume is more than enough And then we have some loading times. So for example, if you're playing redemption to you on the XBOX series x it takes thirty eight seconds on the xbox one x two minutes and eight seconds. If you're blink control ten seconds xbox one x fifty, eight seconds final fantasy fifteen, thirteen seconds on the xbox series x on the xbox one X, one minute eleven seconds, and for the outer world, it's eleven seconds. Verse Forty Three seconds. Who that excited let's go. For it definitely I definitely want to try out control and the world's once. I. Get some. The device will see. You haven't played the outer world yet or I love the world's the thing is I really so many. Go back. Yeah. I really finished it three or four times already. So. I love that game so much tried out for the switch to. How did you find it on switch? It was good. The law time was pretty bad though that was the only thing they're gonna like, and there was some parts that it was very slow in some parts of pending the area but over was pretty good. I played it all the way to the end so. Again. But. For, the most part were all very positive and it all seems like the solid state drive is the big winner here. Obviously, the quick resume is that program that allows you to you start one game and then started other game and the sutter, another game, and apparently up to seven games for this instance without having to you Buddha backup, you can just without having to go through the process of putting the other game booting backup back up. So you can essentially have all these games running at once. I personally will probably not use that but I'm assuming if you play multiplayer games with your friends because you actually play online with your friends but you know you might take advantage of it. Some other interesting tidbits, the orientation I thought this is funny from Brian, McCaffrey idea and said I think the series x also looks very nice and its vertical orientation I can't say the same when it's laying on its side, it looks more like a fireplace log. Oh. You know what's interesting about that though is that how are people going to accommodate that into their entertainment centers? It feels like it has to be set on top then or has to be said on the ground next year entertainment center. The problem is if you also get the places in five and this is where where are you going to put it like it's both pretty big especially places and five is huge so So. He Boys. Log In my entertainment stand. That's. Also one thing they said to, there's very quiet compared to. Previous consoles. Yes. That's a really good thing. Yeah. So yeah, over very to try it out. And also I preordered the XBOX series S. So. Did I yeah. Actually what was it? Was it easy for you it took me like an hour and a half to pre reminds. So the series s actually went relatively quickly on the Microsoft store or I had a pretty easy time of it but then when I went back to try to get the series Ex Could not get one.

Xbox Series X Hands-On Preview Round-Up

"Xbox series x hands on previews are up as of this morning. As you all know xbox, they stand out a bunch of xbox series exodus to media professionals They've gotten their hands on they've been playing over the weekend in the last week and they're previews are finally available. So I've assembled basically the avengers of video games writers for this guy got folks from. got. Folks from Gamespot from venture be and I'm going to go through some of the right people have to say some of the things you had to say about xbox series I'm going to start off with Ryan McCaffrey at is and who writes this First, a word on the console itself it is hefty but in a good way when you hold, it feels like premium five, hundred dollar thing for whatever. That's worth when you turn it on the box, the same startup chime the xbox one family of consoles do in a I'm a bit disappointed in that. Honestly I. Get the consistency. It's a sound though it is a nice sound but you want that new you know. You want the news I Will Ryan McCaffrey saying here I get the consistency but I liked new sound while I'm speaking subjectively I think the series x also looks very nice in its article orientation. It looks bold in assertive indoor entertainment centre with the concave green-tinted vent perforations on the top adding a really nice visual appeal. I can't say the same when it's laying on its side, it looks more like a fireplace log. More importantly, this thing is quiet it's almost inaudible when it when it's idol and read debt-reduction to, for instance, is still pretty quiet much more. So than the xbox one X, which gets noticeably louder under full load. Thank God targets me. So soaked that gets me so to especially because this last weekend I've been, I still Greg Miller playstation four pro from the office along with the TV office so I can get that. You Four K. Experience and that thing is loud dude everything sounds like a lawnmower I didn't realize that you my base ps four got loud I. Didn't know that ps four pros got that loud. It's Wild Man I. The thing that I'm most excited about with these new causes coming up is hoping that there's a chance that they're quieter and I love that at least so far it is a good thing to hear. In clear though with The p the PS four pro that he's using the studio he's using that one at the studio because he got loud and he switched it out for one that he had. Okay. So that one is louder than some PS force can be. Four on right now. Yeah. It's my. Rose K. to us oh, is running right now. I love you call your vacuum Uso, your Roomba. That's a really good name for it and actually while we're on this topic like how it looks with Ryan McAfee's right up here folks. No I'm roommates with Michael Higham from gamespot Michael Higham one of the folks who had an xbox series x so I can give the scoop that looks great like vertically it is hefty it does feel it is pretty heavy like it is like a hefty piece of technology mom but anytime I've gone into the living room that thing that has been virtually silent and like yeah, the thing looks like the top with the green accents there looks really nice. I can't imagine that thing on its side because like. Ryan McCaffrey references here. Right. Like on the side. It would look really awkward like that's kind of my take on it. I don't know why anyone would have to have that on the side of Saif Mike space right like I get. In a in a situation where it's like the only have so much room. Height for mine yeah. which is the thing that sucks but it's also this. Thing like I. I'm struggling to think about where I'm going to put mine because I also it's GonNa. Look ridiculous donal but article I just think it's going to stand out and just be weird. So we'll see. Yeah, I'm scared with both this in the PS five I how they look if for people who are GonNa get both because the PS five and all the different. Comparisons. And mockup scene of that thing seems huge. Like seems abnormally big. Like stylish and sleek, and like has a cool feature. Is thing going for it but it seems big and so like trying to figure out how that is going to fit in your entertainment center next to a series x right at least in the same entertainment centre as a series I think it's it's going to be a challenge for some people because those two things are very different designs, very different boxes. Good Luck on that folks,

Belichick reaches milestone as Patriots top Raiders 36-20

"Everyone is time for the bonus episode postgame recap for Vegas Nation podcast. I'm your host Heidi Fang and I'm joined with our readers writers, Ed Greenie, Adam. Hill we're going to break down what happened here in the Raiders Lost Thirty six to twenty against the New England Patriots here Gillette Stadium in Foxborough at an ir up in the press box Adam back in Vegas a from my vantage point it was. A lot of mistakes made by the raiders, which is something you can't do against the bill belichick coach team. So we're GONNA get all into that here but I I want to remind everybody that we are brought to you by Salmon Ash, indeed visa and also favor. So make sure to subscribe wherever you're listening and what was your first take on what you saw out in the field today with the raiders. You're right. They did everything you can't do and win on the road or anywhere turn the ball over three times. Once rent on. Didn't protect car when they were driving. Me fumbled the Fumble Alina Game Matter Games already overby fumbled the end zone. In the second half, they just wore down defensively I actually done the first thirty minutes be interested at him. I think thought the first thirty minutes they played. As good. A defense as they haven't a while let's be honest. Thirteen points here cam help them a lot. He wasn't any third, but they were down on the second Apple Sikhism Derek. Carr in the offense couldn't stand field. He gave up two hundred and fifty yards total rushing late Sony Michelle when expert in its players per talking, you know these of League so they were down and they just couldn't match. Match up. So a bad game they printed everything you can do and what on the road so Adam how much in fact that these running bags like just through the defense offered their game because I don't think they were looking to contain the likes of three different running backs in this one I think they prepared to contain Cam Newton? What was your thoughts on the running game? I think I was definitely a part of it and I think there was definitely adjustments made. By the Patriots coaching staff because as as ED put out for the first half of the, Patriots were able to run the ball somewhat. But I thought a it wasn't. There wasn't those explosive plays. There wasn't those big plays downfield and it was a kind of picking up some yards here. They're moving the ball effectively but not really gashing the raiders defense and then. They figured out something in the run game after halftime and I'll be interested to find out the later in the week. Interested to get the the all twenty two film comes out like Tuesday. Look a little what happened but I think just at first glance without really looking into what they were doing on the line maybe differently. They definitely started to go to some more cutback plays where they I thought really were able to take advantage of some over pursuit of the writer side in particular from Jonathan Abram, who you know, we know what he can do. In terms just flying around offensively and having people would kind of sending a message for that defense but at the same time. You can use that aggression against him and I think the Patriots kind of figure that out a little bit and it really hit him with a big plays on a place where he got into the gap, he was near the bulk area but just couldn't make up Adams exactly right and and they're going to have to here's the thing about a player John Neighbor might think they love is aggressiveness in his hitting all that he's got a swagger Jim and I. Hate to say this, but sometimes, you just have to you have to balance that it's hard to tell a guy like that. Don't play this way but Adams wait we should for resod against Christian McCaffrey, over pursues too much when you take the battling new pursue Sunny Michelle Christian McCaffrey, they're gonNA come back will go so Yeah. They just didn't play the run wellness second atoms right they adjusted and you have to give Michelle credit like I said when you go For, an average of thirteen yards of Kerry and I don't know if he's ever average per carry more than seven in a games and you also have saved in job I am. But they did they didn't play offensively were out of rhythm Waller. We'll talk about that I know atoms writing thoughts. Darren WELLM was non factor when you get a lot of good at the bill Belgium at he talked about. How good daring waller as well. Guess what he must have died because they ran every defense coverage double team run in stem and stopped him. So atom I know you you wrote about this mean, what did you hear the game to her? How they? You know bottle up there wall I thought it was a group effort I. think that's what of expected to hear from the Patriots Bill. Belichick obviously didn't go into detail about what he did. I think it was just a lot of deception what they were doing offensively disguising it and Bella check pointed out. Hey, it wasn't somebody covering him necessarily a lot of zone. We played a lot of you know bracket coverage a lot of. Men under there was a lot of different things. Defensively. On Waller but I think it was more just about the looks of they're giving up the line and never letting the raiders. No. Before the play what kind of coverage is GonNa be on Waller? Want Credit Anybody I. Think mccourty would be the one that you would like added. Say. Devin mccourty that Dinnie. Tremendous job on him but it was a little bit of everybody kind of in the mixer.

The top waiver-wire pickups for Week 3 of fantasy football

"Tap waiver wire picked for me this week. Is going to be 40 Niners runningback Jerick. McKinnon makes sense. McKinnon is available currently in 73% of ESPN League, so widely available and with the most injury, coupled With Kevin Coleman also being gone for a couple of weeks. This seems like an opportunity for the big free agent signing for Kyle Shanahan Step up and have Ah productive week and at least for a couple of weeks. I think he's the at least for this week. I think he's definitely the best ad long term. Maybe not because most it will return. So if you're just looking for help for this week, maybe a couple of weeks. Jerick. McKinnon is your best bet this week on the planet Jets, other playing A. Who cares? The Giants there. Still, I stayed in New York and you look the Giants Steelers. The Bears have run the ball on the Giants, and they stayed in New York. They're playing the Giants, so I would think that that's they're going to try to ground and pound. This is saline advice is always from the update and grapple is positive, right? Like they think he's gonna play? Yes, Okay again, though, it's it's obviously Tuesday, so it's hard to say anything definitively. But my cannon is the top waiver wire pick up, especially If you're hurting at running back, and if you have sake one if he had most, sir, if you had McCaffrey, and now you're starting to Sergio. Look, Yorgos got to start Jamal Williams from crying out. I got Jamal waves in my story. You might be hitting your waiver wire to pick up Jack Kennedy on the can, For sure, he's gone in one of my All right. Who else? Hide Let me fire Rams running back. Donald Henderson was highly drafted. You have Malcolm Brown, who left last week's game with a finger injury, along with Who's the other Ocampa and left with a rib injury as well. So Darnell Henderson stepped in. I think I believe you had 80 total yards from scrimmage. So Donald Henderson is my second ad. He is available in 54% of leagues. 50 44. That's good Darnell game this week. Rams and Bill's about it to Owen omits to know that those of a good man, that's an exciting game. This's now I'll give you a couple of guys right here. One's more of a long term play. The other is going to be a better bet. Immediately, but probably not for the long term. Joshua Kelly, Los Angeles Chargers, he is it looks like he has stepped right into the Melvin Gordon roll from last season. Austin Heckler obviously, is the main running back that you want with the Chargers. Things were better. With Justin Herbert under center. It's undeniable. Tyrod Taylor comes back. I'm I'm not nearly as enthused, but I have a hard time believing Anthony Lynn is just going to give the ball back to Tyrod Taylor. If Justin Herbert continues to be productive, why
