"Those never taught about because my combat town was so important so does coming up in this in this this new generation i guess north is beneficial for them. Guys who knows that clock it no matter who said is there. How do you feel about the draft process in just the entire thing. You obviously second round pick hindsight everybody would say like should have been a very high first round draft pick but going into the draft because that's the world we're in right now and probably a lot of guys who potentially are getting drafted or watching this. What was your mindset secto in. Did you have any idea what was going to happen. Did you think it was potentially going to be a long weekend. What were your thoughts. I actually didn't know so opera. Kurt for the comeback but is definitely a long tide reprocessing than what she gets to the combat time perform Been getting up at seven in the morning sometimes for the drug test five. Am and it's just a long way. You mean coaches they toronto curve balls at you what you know so. It's a long weekend. Not if you get you get a lot of a lot of knowledge. Were you surprised at all when you were at the combine or any of these meetings with coaches teams like by some dumb questions that they may have asked you. We had a kid on last week. Who said they asked them. Would they say if you're the last man on earth. What would you do anything like that. And you just you just get repeated questions and i think that's what that's what apart coming like is draining because you know you're getting the same question from a different team but in a different form the same question. What do you got for the rest of the day we caught and it sounded like there was. Maybe some food being made behind the scenes there. What do we got the rest of the day. Maybe maybe watching some movies binging watching film. What do you have. I'm amilkar round his tom Low keep maintain low. Stay lean a little bit on resident day off by yourself. Play the game. You play video games. Can well a man fortnight call do. Why not real too serious. You feel like you're thinking day ticket tickets. Don't wanna see somebody's actual head blah. Is that what it is. Is this cake body matter good. Good great. I'm with the nfl players. What's his name over there in. La corner james. He was he was unbelievable to watch if you played against him guy. We've been to florida state. Who wins there we rocket. I appreciate you taking time with us enjoy. Ota's whether it's virtual or in real life can't wait to see you back on the field man. Presumably you ladies and gentlemen dalvin cook. That joins us from nfl network. Ladies and gentlemen ian rapoport. Have you heard anything about this. European super league at all before we get to your world. I've asked a couple of friends who are into soccer about it. I don't. I'm not a soccer guy at all Media but based on my knowledge from the people. I've spoken with trusted sources friends of mine This is causing quite the controversy over there and Everyone's gonna make a lot more money. Which i don't know a lot about sports our business but i do know that when the end result has people involved making a lot more money usually whatever ends up with people making more money is what happens can discuss like in the end. They're going to go with whatever makes them richer and by the way in what you just said there is was my exact thought as well as it turns out that you and i aren't the only ones that feel that way turns out a lot of americans feel that way and it turns out. It's the american owners of these teams over there. Basically that were like. Hey we need to do this. So it's our fault that this is happening exactly shared the same thought. It was like okay. So i'm getting like marquee games. There's going to be more money for everybody here. we go. how you doing. Sounds sounds good. And then all the people in england you stupid wanker you have no idea about any smartened up and it is. It is going to be a long fight over there because the amount of tradition of the beautiful game. Let's move long though joining us as well as germany jayhawk. Aj good to have you. Thank you for joining us. Let's get to this conversation today. Trae lances pro day. Is there any chance that trae lands potentially throws his way to number three today with all of the reports that shanahan in the niners or a part of setting up this day they ashtray lance and start working with a certain quarterback coach so they can learn more about. How is this thing developed in his train. Lance potentially going over top adjustment fields. Now who is the odds on favourite to go to the niners three that they just traded up for first of all. I don't know how everyone comes up with the odds on favor the actual odds for when a guy would get drafted the over under wherever. I'm not in tune to that but for justin fields to now be just the odds on favorite number three seems wild to me. I mean because i don't know it's i know. The organization likes mac jones a lot. I don't know for sure it's going to be him. But i don't know what's happened in the last two weeks to make justin fields. Just be the favorite whatever that even means But as far as trae lance goes. I mean i i. I think he's got a chance. I know you someone the organization likes he is incredibly smart. Forty niners obviously value someone. Who's incredibly smart. He's also very mobile so in their offense he would fit perfectly well. And you know i. I've heard some of the things that you mentioned about you know because of him working with john belk You know the forty niners were involved in. I think the main thing is the forty niners can get really good information from john belk in college shanahan or close. He actually works a lot of the top quarterbacks as well So i think the main thing is whatever they want to know about lance. They can get and maybe ask him to do some things that just today that are specific to them they will see it and then they'll use the next say nine days to hone in on the decision. What do you think the niners are looking for. When they're looking at all these quarterbacks. I mean it's a giant decision they have to make. It doesn't seem like an easy one at all. Is there anything that you could like single out that they're looking for that. They need as an organization. Now there's there's the typical scouting and there's so much you know so much that goes into it the interviews and the measurable and the workouts and all that and then this really is an organization where You know kyle. Shanahan has a lot to say. And i don't wanna say it's coach driven but he clearly has his fingerprints on personnel decisions Similar to a lot of the sort of successful franchises..

Philadelphia Eagles CB Darius Slay on Matthew Stafford trade to Los Angeles Rams, what to expect from Jalen Hurts

"And all pro a pro bowler the interception leader in the entire. Nfl in the year. Two thousand seventeen now philadelphia. Eagles formerly of the lions ladies and gentlemen dairy slack pickling was good. It was good how you doing man not too shabby. I just sneezed a couple of times. Because i'm allergic to the cable companies over charging people it's unbelievable. What's going on out here. Darius i just saw you i believe you were talking about you. Stafford with the nfl films. He is leaving officially now. We'll get into you by the way i want. You know we do appreciate you coming on. We think you're baller. We'll talk about your life as well. But i would like your thoughts on something. It's happening pretty topical here. Matthew stafford is going to the los angeles rams night. The guy who wore number nine put out a nine minute video via the detroit. Lions which basically was emotional. It was a beautiful watch. Evan fox diehard lions van damme. your. I almost cry me so there was. Yeah yeah me too. I got a little. What if there's a lot of people i think are about to be introduced to matthew stafford. 'cause when your quarterback for the lines are not necessarily on prime time television all the time except for maybe thanksgiving. He's an absolute stud. And i think a lot of people are about to learn that. Do you feel the same way as somebody that was shared a field with him. For what six seven years or whatever in detroit and he got mad they gotta gotta go be unbelievable down man on the la. He's a very talented man. Smart guy he will work hard and He's a great leader. Man lead by example. He approached practice. The right way Like i never seen it. professionals is a long time and he. He's he's the man what is what do you think he's gonna do to that team. And that offense obviously he and mcveigh both guys of alpha personalities. But it seems like stafford. Also is one of the tougher quarterbacks ever to play the game i know he played with. What a broken back. Like what do you. What do you think he does instantly for that office. Up thinking to bring a lot of like know accuracy. Deep ball guy He will carry a team man go he could take any low In low you wanna give him you know. Click gays comeback. Like i said for longest man. Staffer was only missing a great defense in our Around half a great defense. Becky continue to get the ball back when i was at time. Stafford was putting up thirty points. Defense flutie given up thirty points to as well so but guy that got a defender keeping twenty point under seventeen points under yes tap. Wanna put up clear. A thirty points easily. Isn't that something that's pretty interesting is. We're talking to darius like corner for the philadelphia eagles. Now isn't that something interesting to think about in this is coming from a corner. Who's on defense. Is that a thought. Hey if we keep them under twenty points are guys going to be able to get an. Is that a goal going into each game. Hey now greenwich last shutout. We want this but the realistic like. Hey if we keep this under twenty. There's a good chance guy's gonna get that. Is that something that actually goes through your mind yet. Easily may cause you know a you see the work definitely with guys like staffer. Long enough man. He gets hot seagoing man. He's unstoppable star any kind of way Making the easiest Hardest make look easy. And you know that's always a defense go to have a team on the twenty. Most of the guys honestly as a quarterback league wants big status scoreboard up. I'm not going to ask you about the drama. That's been surrounding your team. Because there'd be incredibly unfair to you. You're not involved in that but jalen hurts appears to be the quarterback going into next year for you guys. What did you see. Jalen that makes you think like okay. This guy is going to be our guy. There was moments of greatness out there. I don't think everything was as smooth on offense as out of the ball last year as we would hope. But what do you think like philadelphia. Eagles fan should expect from jalen hurts. That you've seen behind the scenes. It's like hey this is. There's a reason this guy's going to be our guy now because he's a great leader as a young guy came to a chip on her shoulder. honestly man no disrespect carson. But he always felt like that was his spot. You know Causing the great guy but he came into the yoga came into the room into basic on. Take over to the office. You know as Why not disrespect me. Just as in i want to come compete against you to become this guy and i want to be the face at his team. He always had a ball always had drive in that kind of separate a lot of guys that you know. He was kind of just determined. You know is competitive. Why not disrespectfully. It just like mom. Okay to compete. You're the best rocky for the team. That's all were you surprised at all. Were any teammates surprise to see him. Like what's he like that from day one Well we already saw that. He had a lot of swagger about him ignored college. That's what we use as the term. Now as you see a goddess plan college boy he got a lot of sway. You carry yourself the right way and you can see in alabama and he you ever had to take no game bitch at a at a taleban. Dan going over. The numbers being heisman candidate. You know so. He had a lotta drive yet. A lot of a lot of stoudt loves to prove he. He's ready to prove it right now.

"Regarding john mcafee it does look like that it is federal prosecutors that are the ones that are charging it with fraud John mcafee but on the very bottom of this. Cnbc article. I was looking at it. Does say the. The commodity futures trading commission have filed a separate civil charge against mcafee and watson facing us. He's facing both civil and criminal case. According to what. I'm reading here. He's got three cases that he's facing sounds like it is. That is that what i'm hearing here. That's why it sounds like it. Because when they when they when they When they arrested him in spain it was the for something else something about tax rate and now this new one is is about cryptocurrency from here in the verge dot com. They're saying each count is facing seven charges criminally and facing between five and twenty years for each charge so they're basically just stack charges. But it's an odd duck while often thought of as an advanced persistent threat that is a government. Run operation in some respects. It doesn't really act like a government agency or even a straight up contractor like iran's mob group for one thing gamero don doesn't restrict it's targeting the way government operation normally would nor is it entirely indiscriminate in the way the lower end criminal gangs tend to be for all that gamero. Don is both noisy and aggressive. Research by cisco's talos group suggests that gamero don is also a mercenary player in the criminal. Criminal market talos wrote in. It's worth noting that the operation the ns dc describes seems to be a software supply chain compromise as an s. d. c. tweeted. The attack belongs to the so-called supply chain attacks methods in means of carrying out this cyberattack allow to connect it with one of russia's hackers spy groups this is therefore a different matter entirely from the distributed denial of service attacks ukraine complained of at the beginning of the week the de dos attack targeted. The ns dc describes the diaz thusly vulnerable government web servers are infected with virus that covertly makes them part of a button. Security systems of internet providers identify compromised web servers as a source of attacks and begin to block their work by automatically blacklisting them. Thus even after the end of the de dos fix the attacked websites remain inaccessible to users and quote. But it seems that this denial of service harassment was probably the work of the criminal. "Talk about it real quick here about the current state of the nfl. All right to shawn watson is going to be somebody that's talked about if this is the way the. Nfl becomes with high super caliber superstar quarterbacks wanting out of their russell wilson is somebody you would never think whatever asked to be traded or moved or anything other than go hawks matthew stafford we thought he was potential gonna die on a football field while wearing alliance jersey because he would never ever come out and say hey. This is not for me anymore. Okay i would like to potentially go on and have success somewhere because when legacies are talked about hall of fames or talked about. I just heard what happened. philip rivers. I would like that not to happen to me. But this is not the type of guy i am at all now got. Jj watt not that type guy at all by all accounts. He's going in saying. Get me out of here. That's when it gets interesting because now it's not you know because back in the day they would move somebody is they're labeled a distraction. Let's get out of here. Let's go do whatever now. It's like all of the biggest name players that you would never expect a walter payton man of the year potentially the greatest philanthropic person in the nfl is potentially saying you know what i mean a new landscape. I'm intrigued to see how this continues. How each of these situations gets talked about judge in how many of them actually happened. Because the seahawks without russ stink. The abrupt shift to remote working has amplified cyber security problems

"The world continue to work from home on often less secure networks during the pandemic, the cyber security firm McAfee says it is seeing a large increase in the frequency. And the severity of cyber attacks on businesses. In a new report titled The Hidden Costs of Cyber Crimes, they find that cyber crime now costs the global economy more than a trillion dollars, jumping more than 15% in two years. Joining us out for more McAfee senior vice president and CEO Steve Goldman. So how do you get to that number? $1 trillion Emily. It's really about looking at all of the indirect costs that impact cybercrime everything from opportunity cost brand reputation, impact to employee morale. If you add up all of those costs as well as the cost. To secure environments. That's where the model that C s. I s whom we partnered with on this report Got to that staggering $1 trillion number. So how does the activity you're seeing now compared to let's say last year, this time given that world working from home, so many people are schooling from home, and so much more of work is distributed. There's a few things first off on the working from home. It basically creates soft targets for the cyber criminals. You can think of. Everybody working from home is now being partially their own I T Department They're working on home networks. They're using consumer devices, and that makes it easier for cyber criminals to get into an organization. We're also seeing the cyber criminals attack differently. They used to attack a system or device. Now we see them taking over an organization which makes it a lot more difficulty and more expensive to know when they fully been removed. In cyberspace. The attacks are sometimes coordinated or happening in parallel to things happening at the government or geopolitical level, you know? Is there anything in particular that you believe in new and incoming administration should be on the lookout for Given the state of where we are right now in cyberspace and make pandemic and still no vaccine yet actually on the market. Absolutely so One of the things that the report goes into is many countries failed to enforce cybercrime laws. In some cases, such as North Korea, we actually see that the state itself Is conducting cyber criminal activity to pay for things like their nuclear program as part of the new administration being able to have a discussion where zero tolerance policy for cyber crime occurring within a country is key. And also setting new norms, making it clear that no government should tolerate theft of things like intellectual property, which is really critical to our industry in the tech sector.

Securing Apple devices

"Of apple's know system across multiple types of devices. You know it's it's on on one hand makes things easier protect but it also means that zero day attacks can be more pervasively destructive they cover sort of thousands of times the surface area target attack might otherwise have give and. I'm not sure if i'm getting that right. But is there sort of like a uniformity of like Apples structure whatever that may zero days especially vulnerable so apple doesn't have the same operating system across all the devices were mac. Os there's ipod iowa's grant tv os watch. Each device does have its own separated. separated operating system But is taking approaches to make that more uniform allowing to be able to pick something up from your phone and then be able to pick it back up on your mac or on your ipad so they are allowing that kind of cross use against the different operating systems are making that more like uniform. And so i don't know i i could totally see what the potential risks there Especially as apps made for ipads ios devices being added to the app store and being available on a mac because even though apple is pretty strict on their developers in what they allow in the app store we just had a case recently. Where they actually notarized mac malware to be able to be downloaded motorization was one of their big kennedy security approaches to help only allowed things that are authorized in kind of been blessed off. So they're not in there. There's no perfect defense Rate like you have to be aware of everything. There's always things that are gonna possibly slip. And so i do see that there could be potential risks with that for sure. Okay so speaking to that you know. It sounds like it's pretty hard. Is it pretty hard to sort of get one over via the app store in that way that you know they were able to authorize. This thing was so what happened with that. Was it just that. It looked very very realistic. And just sort of didn't pass the sniff astor's exactly and then it just turned out to be malware and that's that's not a common case no and that's the first i've heard of there may have been more but that was that was kind of like publicly made big knowledge. It's like okay so we want wanna talk. Obviously you're you're a bit of a mac guru here mcafee. We want to talk about. Mac specific security risks. That people should be aware of like what are some some common errors first of all that are made by apple users. You know just out in the world that opened them up to carry risks being careful what you click on that goes across any user. Just mac specific But yet just cautious of what you click on apple does a really good job of trying to put in some protections to the end user so not disabling things in the operating system right so like if you go to stack exchange looking for how to. Hey how do i do this. Really cool thing on my mac. And then they recommend that you disable internal protections like. You shouldn't do that like just cheap do rum. Yeah exactly in like there's always those targeted tools that are lake. Let's clean up your mac like here's your pop rate. That that that that happens a lot on the mac side because they are very focused on like your mac is contaminated. You need to download this kind of thing. So i think there's always that risk In depending on the type of attack and what what. The attackers like motives are is. There's always that sense of urgency rate. Like you need to do this right now. Because you're short-circuiting their commonsense. It's like right before. I can think about it. You just have kind of take a step back right like is this really is something bad But that's hard. I think there's there's always that pressure As a user to just be aware. But people like max because it's easy to use. Interview With McAfee's Head of Products for the Cloud Business Unit

"Mcafee. I lead product management for mcafee cloud business unit and business unit is basically sky high s. Many of your listeners might only in the security space by no lead us in the cloud access security broker space. Has there been a noticeable change in the adoption of ritualized security tools and services since covid nineteen has forced many organizations to really shift to a remote workforce. Oh absolutely we have seen a dramatic a noticeable change across the board In fact it's quite timely. We just came up with a Work from home. Cod report card stands for cloud Sorry clouded options security to vote. Maybe talk about the coalition between the increased use of cloud services and collaboration tools such as cisco webex zoom teams slack the covid nineteen pandemic along with an increase in cyber attacks targeting the cloud and public cloud environments impacting. What allies increased workloads. So it's really across the board and what v. seen right based upon customer data. What we've seen is a significant and potentially long lasting trends that include an increase in the use of a out services more than fifty percent but also access unmanaged devices that is what we call cloud native threats and this threat actors targeting clough fahd outweighs the this brought on by changes implied behavior. And it's very important that me are well equipped to be to mitigate this kind of risk and Tragedy impacting public structures for both competitors. And what's your life's work notes. Increasing instep with doubted option. All industries need to evaluate the security posture to protect against accomplish Data exultation definitely. I've definitely been talking about in. This episode is how organizations need to be shifting their focus to security for remote workforce indefinitely towards the cloud so on a longer time line. What else has really influenced the growth of ritualized. It security. i think a lot of factors lead the growth of Security watch well as asian in fact just yesterday reading that says that the global which was asian security market is expected to grow to two billion dollars by the end up twenty thirty four s pretty much growing at the annual compounded rate of a sixteen percent. These can be activated Blue growth of cloud and the journey that all organizations have embarked on as you know i. I follow nemec donald Back now analysts. And in one of block specifically saying as data centers are increasingly which lies used a becoming more and more mobile organizations increasing adopt public cloud services security controls must shed. They call the physical shackles and exist a software based enforcement binds. That can replace. Need it right. The which means to godless the future of information security is a set of all context of software based security policy enforcement. Points can be pleased when and where needed within what lies on a containerized computing architecture. Second part of it is it security selflessly imagining except right. Think about this and the security team with an organization looks like it's developers de moving to a more What allies denies Based architecture they don't want to behind so they want there's security for these new sets of workloads to be containerized As well and At end of the day that is immense benefit right they think about security utility the want to able to be agile and be able to react little the next shock to the system as quickly as possible.

Xbox Series X Hands-On Preview Round-Up

"Xbox series x hands on previews are up as of this morning. As you all know xbox, they stand out a bunch of xbox series exodus to media professionals They've gotten their hands on they've been playing over the weekend in the last week and they're previews are finally available. So I've assembled basically the avengers of video games writers for this guy got folks from. got. Folks from Gamespot from venture be and I'm going to go through some of the right people have to say some of the things you had to say about xbox series I'm going to start off with Ryan McCaffrey at is and who writes this First, a word on the console itself it is hefty but in a good way when you hold, it feels like premium five, hundred dollar thing for whatever. That's worth when you turn it on the box, the same startup chime the xbox one family of consoles do in a I'm a bit disappointed in that. Honestly I. Get the consistency. It's a sound though it is a nice sound but you want that new you know. You want the news I Will Ryan McCaffrey saying here I get the consistency but I liked new sound while I'm speaking subjectively I think the series x also looks very nice in its article orientation. It looks bold in assertive indoor entertainment centre with the concave green-tinted vent perforations on the top adding a really nice visual appeal. I can't say the same when it's laying on its side, it looks more like a fireplace log. More importantly, this thing is quiet it's almost inaudible when it when it's idol and read debt-reduction to, for instance, is still pretty quiet much more. So than the xbox one X, which gets noticeably louder under full load. Thank God targets me. So soaked that gets me so to especially because this last weekend I've been, I still Greg Miller playstation four pro from the office along with the TV office so I can get that. You Four K. Experience and that thing is loud dude everything sounds like a lawnmower I didn't realize that you my base ps four got loud I. Didn't know that ps four pros got that loud. It's Wild Man I. The thing that I'm most excited about with these new causes coming up is hoping that there's a chance that they're quieter and I love that at least so far it is a good thing to hear. In clear though with The p the PS four pro that he's using the studio he's using that one at the studio because he got loud and he switched it out for one that he had. Okay. So that one is louder than some PS force can be. Four on right now. Yeah. It's my. Rose K. to us oh, is running right now. I love you call your vacuum Uso, your Roomba. That's a really good name for it and actually while we're on this topic like how it looks with Ryan McAfee's right up here folks. No I'm roommates with Michael Higham from gamespot Michael Higham one of the folks who had an xbox series x so I can give the scoop that looks great like vertically it is hefty it does feel it is pretty heavy like it is like a hefty piece of technology mom but anytime I've gone into the living room that thing that has been virtually silent and like yeah, the thing looks like the top with the green accents there looks really nice. I can't imagine that thing on its side because like. Ryan McCaffrey references here. Right. Like on the side. It would look really awkward like that's kind of my take on it. I don't know why anyone would have to have that on the side of Saif Mike space right like I get. In a in a situation where it's like the only have so much room. Height for mine yeah. which is the thing that sucks but it's also this. Thing like I. I'm struggling to think about where I'm going to put mine because I also it's GonNa. Look ridiculous donal but article I just think it's going to stand out and just be weird. So we'll see. Yeah, I'm scared with both this in the PS five I how they look if for people who are GonNa get both because the PS five and all the different. Comparisons. And mockup scene of that thing seems huge. Like seems abnormally big. Like stylish and sleek, and like has a cool feature. Is thing going for it but it seems big and so like trying to figure out how that is going to fit in your entertainment center next to a series x right at least in the same entertainment centre as a series I think it's it's going to be a challenge for some people because those two things are very different designs, very different boxes. Good Luck on that folks,

"It was my exact tweet if I put this type of stuff excites me about potentially accidentally becoming a father one day because I'm thinking about little Dr McAfee on. Just wanting to get like two dog shots hit on them. I don't worry about my whole life to build at the McAfee name and in to swift. But it was that is classic in the world a little league with all those Harto coaches that take way too seriously. It's refreshing to see a guy that's bringing some fun because literally exposed to be fun and those bringing that back to you on that the kids have to cover their mouth from land as they're in on it too. And you could see sometimes he doesn't wanna say he goes down. He kicks dirt. If you haven't seen a video I tweeted out, he literally starts kicking the dirt. So he doesn't have to look at the kid. I enjoy that though what a great piece of content. I bet those kids wanna play for him. Even the kids that are up and coming. I know he said he coaches is sons, but all this viral the video going around in the league everybody knows them. They're like, yeah. And that's when I first saw it. I was like Oli God, man. What's going on watch? It again was laughing itself. But just here in that. I know it's all in good fun. It's about literally gets about, you know, he has to get buried by some kids are in on it, folks. The kids are the most the tweets so hundred good tweets, and that you see that one. That's like this guy is the problem with coaching. There's many different ways to motivate children in this is not one of them. And I'm like, well that that isn't that isn't a factual statement what you said because that is a way that is a particular way to motivate. So what you said though, we get it is not factually first of all, but second of all I think if you can bring humor to a time like that. That's the best way. To motivate. Sure. Now granted a young Pat McAfee if I'm getting cooked up there. I would probably throw it. I saw him saying his kid dropped the ball at his throat punch them. I could have I would have leaned towards that problem as a kid a little bit of a hot head. I would say, but just the thought of it all like him going through it. And they said while he's walking up because that's a stage. Right. That's like he's a stand up comedian walking onto the stage like going through his head like, okay, you're not the worst of the league player best player. But you'd better go to quit. Okay. Let's all brand new all brand new to me, and I said to Nick tonight walk in. And this is the first match where like I was excited to see the storylines because obviously we're going there. I I was excited to be there. But to actually find out what was going to happen to be on us through. We don't really give them a choice. We were allowed proud in ruckus, right there on the very loud, it we're very much on TV. The internet was telling us a crowd was dead. I didn't think so I thought crossbreeding now grant that might have been Austria's yelling the whole time though. I mean, we did our part we were into it. I lost my voice. I'm actually losing my voice right now, which never happens to be. You can ask my mom that is not a month passed I feel like I went to war out there. I feel like I wrestled exhausted. A lot of people got beat up in front of us. A lot of them. I don't like house pound on a board. So like hockey in. Let's go Boyce triple h day. Batista created one of the most. Memorable moments giftable moments in in longtime where David says begging for what he wants. Me what I want. Give me what I want. He says very angrily in. We just said McAfee ferrall on football. Because there's one guy today that I talked to who wanted to motivate me to continue to push that up little part of free agent frenzy because we will dive into that entirely right after this conversation with the beautiful rich Eisen that happened on NFL network, by the way, I will mention this at the end of this interview. The NFL network had me on a show. Good morning football. No NFL AM wouldn't name the show. I was like a weekly guest on there. There's like my people I flew out in the off season woke up at like one AM because he filmed it in LA was a morning show. Did the whole thing then that that show up pulled? Ooh. Cancelled o SIA. Oh. And I've never been back on another NFL network show. Never. Never been aspect except for on the internet on the internet. They had me on the internet show on the check down and stuff like that never been aspects. So today rich Eisen was doing his show on NFL network. Sends me a text goes. Hey, I'd like to have you on her phone network with me, I said, welcome back. Welcome back. Well, go bad. It will. Well. All pro punter. Pat McAfee here on the rich Eisen show on the NFL. Now, we're color you Patrick. I'm fantastic after that incredible introduction. Mr. is in. Thank you so much for that. Also since we are talking free agent frenzy in the frantic behind it all you could also say I was once franchise tag that introduction. But you didn't know where you miss every once in a while. "Said, quote, someone with a sport pilot certificate cannot be paid for providing instruction. So legally this is a little bit of a grey area. You're not specifically banned from teaching people how to fly you've got a sport pilot significant, but you can't be paid to. I can't be your job, which means that we can't enshrine because we can't trust that you know, what you're doing. So you can't like if you wanna teach a friend had a fly, we can't stop you. But like you can't be the head of a flight school, right? My friends here at home, but I open a salon eggs, everybody here or your your ankle can't hire you to run. His desert flight school. Way higher stakes like your water fly flying. You don't know. How to fly yourself, right? Yeah. So so so scammer runs in the family shout. So yes. So these two guys Joe Benigno and Robert Gibson go out flying, and they wind up flying through a box canyon, which is apparently the most dangerous thing to fly through because there's very little and he crashes, and they both die horrible. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. So the fast company article goes into more detail about masterpiece reaction to the death of both his nephew in an innocent grandpa, quote after the accident McAfee says he struggled to understand how it could have happened. He speckling. How could put a good untrained man in charge of a pilot school do. Okay, cool. So he had a five point. Yeah. But still basically mega fan like posited that the old guy had been sick and had had a heart attack during the flight and had like fallen onto the Kite's wing. So he made up a ho he just he's just lies. No, dude. You're you're untrained nephew got them both killed and isn't that the plot to then one book was that book call you know, the pilot has a heart attack. And then the kid is out with an axe the hatchet hatchets the plot of the hatchet that is kind of a hat you except for the kid is the guy flying and dies, right? He was like how can I spend this? Yeah, he had a heart attack. Anyway, quote to honor Bitos memory McAfee had the image of a single teardrop added below his sky gypsies tattoo. So he murdered his nephew. And how he to say, right? Murder. I'll say that that's a fair that part's not appropriation. You did two guys. Take Carry on. on in an interview later McAfee said, quote, aero tricky and can create an avenue for self awareness. He told me seven months after Bidault and Gilson died you find self-awareness by breaking boundaries. Breaking taboos. Do you think you'll ever get bored of this too? I asked I anticipate that happening. He said, it doesn't worry me at all. It's a seven months after he gets do people killed. He's spun it. Optimism just whatever. Yeah. You know, people does. Sometimes they end nephew. Yes. Sometimes they're your nephews. Sometimes they're your nephew for your unregistered flight school. That's just the way it goes. In two thousand nine the housing market crashed and the rest of the economy followed soon after two thousand eight actually the arrest of the economy followed soon after for brief time hack. Journalists did a brisk business writing articles about former industry titans who'd also lost a lot of money in the crash, perhaps the most prominent of these was John McAfee. Here's an excerpt from an ABC news article at the time, titled antivirus software pioneer gets it dose of reality. Quote, like, many wealthy Americans. Mcafee was hit hard with a simultaneous collapse of realestate stocks in Wall Street investment banks, but he got wacked more than most since much of his fortune was tied up in luxury properties oddly enough when real estate markets crash. It's the higher end properties that crashed most simply because they're not necessities. He said, my father always said real-estate, you can't lose in real estate. You know, oddly enough you can so.
