Oh, and by the way, man, I got it so much stuff here. It's unbelievable. Actually, real quick before I get to that disgrace Los Angeles councilwoman, nori Martinez announces leave of absence of men amid the scandal over the leaked racist remarks. You guys heard about this Los Angeles councilwoman nury Martinez announced she is taking a leave of absence Tuesday amid ongoing calls for her resignation after a recording revealing racist and offensive remarks was released over the weekend. You guys may have heard them. I certainly did. This has been one of the most difficult times of my life. She says, and I recognize this is entirely of my own making. The statement was released ahead of Los Angeles city council meeting that was scheduled for Tuesday at 10 a.m. at this moment. She continued, I need to take a leave of absence and take some time to have an honest and heartfelt conversation with my family, my constituents and community leaders, Martinez stepped down from her role as they counsel president on Monday, but did not leave her seat on the council, which has prompted backlash among those who won her out. LA city council president resigns after the racist remarks again, were revealed. Mike bonin, who was one of the targets of Martinez's comments, has been joined by Los Angeles mayor Eric garcetti, U.S. senator Alex Padilla and many others in calling for her resignation. I don't know why people are surprised because Democrats are a systemically racist party. Doesn't surprise, I grew up in Los Angeles. I've heard I can tell you, honestly, I've heard the N word a couple of times.

We're going to play for you. What happened this afternoon when Mayor Eric Garcetti introduced Gavin Newsom. This is an event where Newsome came down to L. A county. To talk about his massive budget, which he just completely signed off on which is a bunch of handouts. If you make $75,000 or less, you're entitled to a $600 stimulus check and further if you have a couple of kids, you get an extra $500. And you wonder why there's inflation. And somebody told me that these checks are time to come here right before the recover September 13th, I bet. Maybe even before that, because Oh, sure, the weekend before. All right, So listen to Errico said he Tongue Bay, the governor. And I learned one thing from Gavin Newsom. My governor. Never bet against California. Never bet against the Golden State. Never bet against our people, no matter what language you speak. No matter where you come from, no matter how much money you earn, or your toughest moment, and he's so in California is a state of belong. We lay out the values of a state led by the values of a leader. We stand behind here in Los Angeles. We stand behind at moments of crisis and we stand behind and moments of celebration. And I'll end with this. I've Talk to this man when all the cameras are off when nobody's there listening, and we're both nude. I've heard him in the toughest moments of this past year make the most difficult decisions of his life and he's so strong and I also know they were the easiest decisions he's ever made. Because when it comes to protecting even one life, that's not a tough call. Even one mind when it means bringing people together to say what we're for, rather than what we're against. In this moment when people seek to divide us. This is a man who was knighted. And who is bringing this state back? That California comeback is here and our governor is here. Please chip in If you can hashtag boycott daily mail Now I'm told she has their own podcast. Now to this was just discovered. Katie Hill has a podcast called Naked Politics. Katie hell And apparently her first guest Woz, former Florida governor candidate Andrew Gillum. So we're gonna have to dive into that one and see what's going on. And the naked politics podcast and the subject matter of that podcast is about being bisexual because it's pride month in the month of June. And that was the topic, which should make for an interesting podcast because the term bisexual the Katy Hill is a little bit different than what you understand it to be. Have you ever heard the explanation? Randy? What's the explanation? Well when she says she's bisexual, it's because she likes interns and paid employees. Uh, So she gets it across the board. Anyway. Wolf, of course, take a listen to that podcast. And if there any nuggets in there that we think you might find interesting will play that on the show. The mayor of Los Angeles Eric Garcetti is also in the news today, Randy, But like Children he is to be seen and not heard. So Eric are said he had a press conference today, where he signed the new 2021 budget for the city of Los Angeles and even posted a live video on Eric Garcetti's YouTube page, where the microphone is so far away from the podium. You can't hear a word that anybody says And so if questions were asked by reporters, you wouldn't even know it. However, one print reporter Dakota Smith of the L. A Times caught up with Garcetti's. He was trying to run out of there faster than he's trying to run out of Los Angeles and asked him specifically about Going to India. At first, Garcetti wouldn't talk about what conversations he had with the Biden administration, saying quote that is something I know I'm not going to be speaking about. I've had many conversations with the president over the last year, and I keep those conversations, always private. Wait a minute. You keep conversations private in the confessional. If you've been publicly offered a job by the president, that's not exactly a state secret. Garcetti that was then asked if he would go to India if he's nominated, and Garcetti said quote. I won't speculate on something that's been speculative, but I will always pick up the phone if the president calls Yeah. Well, he better not have T Mobile. And then Garcetti said, this one and see if you can parse this with your political knowledge. John Phillips quote. I don't think you can solve the problems of L A without being engaged in the world. Which is how I tried the lead is mayor and vice versa. We can't solve the problems of the world without Los Angeles being a part of it as well. Well, there are two things going on here. First and foremost when he wasn't offered anything he liked in the first round of job offerings from the Biden administration. He came out and said, I'm not taking anything they offer because we're in the middle of a pandemic, and Los Angeles needs my leadership. And then when the Biden administration changed their mind and decided that there was a job that he was willing to take that they were willing to offer. He has to create wiggle room so he doesn't look like a complete pathological liar. So now what he's trying to do is he's trying to spin it so he could say, Well, even though I'm the ambassador to India, I'm still working to improve Los Angeles because Los Angeles is so interconnected to the subcontinent. So don't think of me is losing the mayor. Think of it is gaining an ambassador. He's also doing something else. Which is what he should be doing because this is the big problem. He could lie to the people of L. A. And the L A Times will cover it up. So don't worry about that. They'll just move on, especially if Ron Lin is the one asking the questions. One of the things that he has to do to avoid a complete and utter public humiliation is make sure the votes are behind them. Now. We talked to Barbara Stone about that yesterday and she thinks that it's very doable for him because he's just not on anyone's radar right now. However. If he is the nominee, and he has to sit in front of the U. S Senate for a confirmation hearing. The subject battered that they're going to discuss is going to surround two things. Number one. Me, too, because he haven't aide who was sexually harassing anything with genitalia and a heartbeat and was doing it right in front of them, and he saw it and he giggled. And then he lied about it repeatedly. That's gonna be a problem for any senator who's interested in me, too, and then the larger issue that's going to be a very difficult one for him to get beyond. Is the fact that he is the poster child for defund the police. After the last election, the Democrats took a look at all of the races that they lost that they thought that they were gonna win in congressional in the House and Senate. Some state races. And the subject that hurt them, the most in their autopsy. They found. We're not talking about Republicans. We're not talking about the media. Democrats in their own surveys found that the issue that hurt them the most was defund the police. He is the poster child for defund the police. So if Eric Garcetti has to sit in front of the U. S Senate panel and get questioned about his beliefs on any number of subjects, guess what we're going to focus on like a laser beam. And they're going to make all of these Democrats from all of these red and purple states. Take a very nervous vote for Mr Defund the police himself, Mayor defund the police. And if you're cursed in cinema in Arizona are Mark Kelly in Arizona or Joe Manchin and West Virginia or Jon Tester in Montana. That's going to be a very difficult vote to take. Because for a position that you don't care about which is ambassador to India, you're gonna have that hung around your neck like an anvil by your opponents when you run for re election, and you say, Well, I don't want to defund the police. So Republicans saying that I do. That's just not true. Don't believe it..

Garcetti Announces COVID-19 Mobile Vaccination Program In Los Angeles
"Things on the pandemic front are starting to look a little better. In Los Angeles, Govan 19 infections and hospitalizations seemed to be on a fairly steep decline. And the city's vaccination efforts are ramping up, according to Mayor Eric Garcetti, 97% of all vaccine doses Ella has received have gone into arms. That's one of the highest, if not the highest percentage in the nation. Just at the five city vaccination sites more than 260,000 doses have been administered, Garcetti says. The city is also trying to bring more vaccines to Ella's most vulnerable populations have started a new program that will deploy mobile vaccination clinics to communities that have suffered the highest rates of coronavirus cases and deaths. Nothing is more important, no task more urgent than making sure that all Angelenos have access to the vaccine once they are eligible and distributing it to those most in need. The goal is to deliver vaccines to seniors who need it, but can't necessarily walk or drive to any immunizations site. That program got underway yesterday in councilman marquees Harris Dawson's district in south L. A. Said. He says they'll return in four weeks to give those community members a second dose.

That's today with the current Corona virus vaccination pace. The city of Los Angeles will not Have all health care workers and seniors vaccinated until Summer. Right? Wait a minute. We thought that was supposed to be the easy part. Under the vaccination plan for the city on Lee, those that fall under phase one A and one B. Only those two categories are currently allowed to receive vaccines. This includes health care workers, staff and residents at skilled nursing facilities and long term care facilities. And L A county residents age 65 older, so, Garcetti said, if vaccinations continue it at the current rate The city would not be able to start vaccinating people in the next phase, such as education and child care, employees, Food and agriculture employees until June. He's also taking into account what he also said, which was he was looking forward to you know that you would bite administration coming in and things getting Maura. I guess, he says, organized and more efficient if he's taking that into account, or if he's just throwing the worst case scenario based on the way it is currently Yeah, I don't know. I think what these guys do now as they downplay it, and so anything now, before June is like, Wow, you got a mission accomplished. That's good, right? Would you prefer the down play or the play? I guess, Uh, I don't know. I prefer Right down the middle. Just tell us what you tell us what you got. You intend think right, right? Yeah, You think so? But it might be worth moving to another state for a while. You know, even a month or two. If you can. If you can work from home and work from a different state, then you can go to Oregon or Washington or Nevada, Arizona, where they're doing a much better job. And they don't have 40 million people that you know Theo inoculate, So that might be the move. You know, somebody really needs it. You should not wait to get it in California because it's like winning the lottery. Chance of you getting it are next to none. Anyway, so at they said, Here's a quote at this point demand far outstrips the supply of vaccine. And we're still waiting. Toe learn when the doses will arrive. Now. No, that's true. I mean, I thought California like one point Nine million doses ready to go well, they said they've given out more than any other state in the country. But the rate is what's so bad, Horrible, right? He says. Here's another quote we need. We know we need and we'll need Morva vaccines. I'm so we won't say stay at this pace. There's a long road ahead. No matter the pay's we will keep adding more people. The number that are now vaccinated. Well, of course. I mean, if you back today one person a day, you could be adding more people to it. Because it's unbelievable. It really is. You know, I do understand when that When that recall of Gavin Newsom came out, I was like, who cares? Maybe will be recalled. If he does, he does. It doesn't Who cares? I might get involved. Then you see him a French laundry and you're like, all right, well asleep. Somebody go online and look at the petition. And then you see that It's impossible to get a vaccine. You like. All right, let me sign it. Where is it? I'll get it. Get it rolling here. And that's a pushes people to sign it, and they've gotten over a million people to sign them. Yeah, it's funny How that just that incident alone. Just one obviously didn't help his cause. But that just was a galvanizing moment for a lot of people. Yeah. You mean the French laundry? Laundry? Yeah, well, and you know what? I don't think it's his bad as I think What he did is he made it worse when he said, you know, he should know he should have got. You should have got up and just left the restaurant instead. He said. We were outdoors, and we're amongst a very small group of people with masks, son and then the photos came out and all of that was alive. All of it. And so that's when people are like, Where is the petition? All right, I'll sign. What the hell and if that guy loses his job because he's been recalled, his political career is over. I don't know anybody that has survived. You know, that has been recalled, and then gets another great job. Nobody because all the money dries up all your you know your donors dry up. And people look at you like you're loser. Whatever happened, Governor Pete Yeah. Um Or Davis, right, David Davis, But, yeah, I mean, he didn't get back into politics. He couldn't You know, all of his money was wiped out all of his donors. All of his friends. You know, people he thought were friends split on him. Because once you're you have that stink on you. You've been recalled it you're done. And Gavin Newsom has his eyes on being present the United States, so if he gets recalled in the state of California, that's over and I get it.
