"mayor bowser mayor adams" Discussed on ToddCast Podcast with Todd Starnes

"Jeff Katz in today for my friend Todd, this is the Todd star show. It's the Todd star show Jim cats happy to be sitting in for my friend Todd here in the Liberty University studios now. We've got a couple of big city mayors. Be advocates of sanctuary cities unsecured borders, muriel Bowser and D.C. and Eric Adams in New York. Well, governor Greg Abbott from Texas has now been running a bus service from Texas to those cities and guess what? They've decided that an unsecured border is, well, problematic for them. Somebody who's been dealing with this a long, long time joining us in the patriot mobile newsmaker line from the 5th district of Arizona congressman Andy Biggs. Congressman, welcome. Thank you. Good to be with you. Yeah, it is good to chat with you again. So not that you're laughing, but are you looking at the mayor's nimby here and thinking, told you so? Yeah, I think well, I'm glad that there are at least finally acknowledging that illegal migrants and aliens coming across the border can potentially be a problem. So, I mean, yeah, I mean, to see mayor Bowser mayor Adams, they're just having a fraction of what happens on the border. I mean, you've got, you've got cities of 20,000 people that are seeing four or 500 people a day coming through towns just a 100,000 that a thousand a day. They're complaining about a total of 4000 busted them from Arizona and Texas. And you know, well, grow up. I mean, let's face it, let's work together now and secure the border. Do you have a sense that maybe they will change their opinion or are they just looking for more federal handouts? I think unfortunately, I'm a little cynical. I think they're looking for federal handouts. They want access to armouries. They want money, they want they're going to come to Congress probably and say, this is an emergency. We need more money. And the board of communities and the ability to secure the border will go wanting yet. No, that's awful. Congressman Andy Biggs was joining us. I want to get your insight congressman if you don't mind, I'm not an economist. For that matter, I'm not a biologist, but I do have a clue who women are and I did learn an econ one O one what a recession is. How is it possible for these folks with a straight face to just spin and tell us, no, no, no, you got to believe us, not your Lion eyes on these issues. Well, they're consistent. They don't tell the truth. They're not truth tellers. They're not serious people. They're just dangerous people. And so they will tell you, there's no recession. They will tell you that the border is secure. They will tell you that they can't define a woman. They will tell you that we need to go to electric vehicles when we don't have any capacity to do it. They will tell you that yes, really isn't 5 bucks a gallon. They'll tell you what we don't have a shortage of baby formula. And if they ever admit any of those problems, it's going to be yours mine and Donald Trump's problems have the causation..
