Hewitt: Military, Any Government Arm Can Require COVID-19 Vaccines

"Indiana university yesterday Got the green light from federal. Judge saying it can require kobe. Nineteen back scenes and by the way any arm of the government can indeed require. Koga vaccines for those who use its benefits or who are in its employ. I personally believe the military ought to have done this a long time ago in the national guard. It's a national security issue. Ted nolan the great water polo coach at uci. Irvine used to scream at his players to get the flu shot in the off-season saying if we're in the finals and you get the flu. I eight say at very colorful. Because he had a language like a sailor you will never be in my presence again and it seems to me that if you're a warfighting unit you have to be wore ready you can't risk getting the delta you need to be vaccinated and sorry. Join the military. You don't have any rights. But i would extend that to government employees and yes and matija indiana university. If i'm a college and i make that choice and it's up to them. Some don't wanna do that. That's fine but if they do it there can any private business can do. It doesn't violate your rights as an employee. The only thing that can happen is that the government can't make you do it. There would be some legislation possible. It would then be subject to constitutional stress test depending on the exemptions that allowed and and whether or not it was uniformly applied We would take a look at that point but you certainly could have the military do it in the military

Adolf Hitler's Rise to Power

"The situation in one thousand nine hundred ninety s germany was dire. the country had lost world war one. Their economy was tatters. German rule over its global colonies was no longer and many of their citizens had lost loved ones in the war. The desperate conditions pave the way for young and hungry political figure named adolf hitler in nineteen twenty one. He became the leader of a fringe group. Known as the nationalist socialist german workers party better known as the nazis. They wanted to rebuild germany and make it the superpower at once was regardless of the cost on november eighth nineteen twenty. Three hitler organized a rally of thousands of people outside. Munich's largest beer hall. He gave a rousing speech about his plans to save their fatherland. He urged his followers to start a revolution invade a political rally. Going on inside the hall then. He ordered them to take over political buildings around the city. The crowd was so moved by his message that they followed his instructions immediately. People began marching through the streets of munich. They tried breaking into various government buildings but were stopped by the police. Sixteen of hitler's early followers were killed during the riots. Hitler was later tried for high treason and eventually jailed for the uprising. The event made national headlines and it was coined the beer hall putsch. It gave hitler the attention he needed to spread his ideas to a wider audience. In when he was released less than nine months later he leveraged this new following. Maybe he couldn't sees political office but his followers could certainly vote him.

James Ledbetter Wrote That Marxism Journalism Was About Propagandizing

"The 2000 and a book of Marx's articles for the Tribune. Ledbetter explains that quote the basic marks approach to his New York Tribune column was to take an event that was in the news, an election and uprising the second Opium War, the outbreak of the American Civil War. And sift through it. Until he could boil it down to some fundamental questions of politics or economics. And then on those questions, he would make his judgment. In this sense marks journalism, he says, does resemble some of the writing that is published today in journals of opinion. It's not hard to see a direct line between Marx's journalistic writing listen and the kind of tendentious writing on public affairs that characterized much political journalism. Especially in Europe in the 20th century. This marks his approached to journalism as I say. Says modern journalists do today that is, he was unencumbered by commitment to actual news reporting, instead is reporting, which shaped the news around his own opinions and ideology. Ledbetter, who went through all of Marxist Columns and writings. Said after 18 48 marks learned the power of counter revolution. And began to believe that existing systems of government economy could not be overthrown until a relatively informed and organized proletariat could be mobilized to do so. As became clear with every passing year, he writes, and many nations, such organization was decades away if it existed at all. So in other words, Marx understood the power of mass communication and the need to control it and shape it. The frame events and opinions. The purpose was to propaganda, not in the form.

Jeff Bezos Going to Space on His Company's First Human Space Flight

"He and his brother will fly into space. In July, they will join the highest bidder on the new Shepard suborbital vehicle operated by Blue Origin. Joining us now is a BCS Alex Stone, who has raised his hand to cover such events. I will cover it, but I do not want to go on it. Even if you said Hey, we've got a free seat. I would say, You know what? Maybe put 100 of these happen. Let's see what the fail rate is first and then and then we'll talk about it. What does this mean? Well, first of all, didn't he sound like a big kid in there? I just always wanted to do this. And you know I'm worth 187 billion. So why not? I can kind of do whatever I want to do. So what? The big announcement today Jeff Bezoza and his brother going to be going on the flight. Bids for that third seat are right now up to $3.2 million is what we're looking at, and we've got until June 12, so probably going to go higher than that. But the flight is going to be of the new Shepard on July 20th. And he has invited his brother and blue origin. Put out the sound of that invitation when he asked him. Hey, you want to go along? I really want you to come with me. Would you? Are you serious? I think it would be meaningful. My brother there Here is, if you're willing, if you want to, Yeah, like you want to go to space with me like, you know, we'll just kind of going and so it's going to go that you will launch from Van Horn, Texas 100 Miles east of El Paso. The capsule has massive windows, even amazing view that you'll be buckled in until you reach the edge of space. You're not going to go into orbit. You will go up. Reach the edge of space float around for three minutes. You can take off your seatbelts, float around for three minutes and then begin coming back and the parachutes will deploy. Total flight time around 10 minutes. You go up, You come right back down, and then that will be the experience, but it will be the first humans in blue origin aboard the blue origin space craft. They've done 15 successful test. Humans haven't gone up yet, And this will be numero Uno. So Bezos and his brother, they seem so

Yeah, It's a big deal for a lot of people and not a nerd to nerd. That guy's really sounds like a total nerves. It was good that that's really that. That's what added that I heard. Here's the thing someone else is going to go to, but, uh, they are auctioning off that seat. So far, the bidding has reached $2.8 million. So you can fly with Bezos for $2.8 million by the way. He you gotta you gotta listen to this, you gotta listen to do this. You gotta do this guy here that she got to hear this and so that's that's that's the main way here. And of course, you know, seeing you on Twitter last couple of days I've been going through and watching a lot of your stuff. I watched the one you kept Mitchell with a la Fleur wage. It's it's it's wonderful and you've got such great people that come on this show as well ojita. You know, is absolutely phenomenal. I saw you had a few Google settings. Baton Rouge has been on one of the few members one of the. Yeah. One of the few members of Congress that actually follows me on Twitter too, so I'm very happy about that though. Yeah, it does. I used to have Ro Khanna too but he unfollowed me and I, you know, I always take that little personal. So I don't know what I did to piss him off, but I'm sorry, Ro khong. Oh I don't know if I don't even know what that is. He was, he was a Bernie Sanders. You know, kind of God what's the word? I'm not sure if it escapes me at the moment. But anyway, so he was, you know, he had followed me and then he unfollowed me, but I saw that Ted lieu, I had Al Franken still actually have Al Franken but he's no longer obviously in the outfit. So let's let's the two which, which when you look back at it. Now, it's kind of ridiculous. I know, oh my God, considering he, he's a comedian. Yeah, because you care about it and suck, these folks who do this, and they just sit there, you know, I could never be on like, Network news because I get too pissed off. I, I couldn't sit there and back, well, and tonight we have this, like, no, what the hell is wrong with you, people? I know get mad. Get anime. You know, I used to love Ed Schultz. He was a good good friend, but I love and actually and and, and he had that he had that passion in that fire and it's like you you miss that. So it's great to see that it with with your show here. You know, I love that that's exciting and that's fun because, you know, you're talking about Somebody that actually gives a damn about what's happening in this country today. Yeah, my mom. I mean, there are a lot of oligarchs, you know, at a Russia that were, you know, that have choices in, you know, in from, you know, building on Fifth Avenue, you know, and all of this just leads back to the same thing that this guy has been dropped for his entire life. And and we only know really about the last five years. You know, we we get to look at this little snapshot all because he chose to get in politics if home Stayed out. Nobody would care. He'd still be hosting, The Apprentice, he'd still have his Twitter feed, he'd be committing all these crimes and secret and he'd be getting away with it because nobody would get a shit. But he forced us to have to care forced himself into our daily lives and careful what you wish for. You know, it's the Monkees Paul thing off, he wanted to be powerful, he wanted to be president. Okay but you got it and you got all of the scrutiny that goes with it and because you kept pissing people off, they decided to do some digging and sure enough they found all the dirt that you had to offer. So he deserves he deserves every single bit of what's coming for him with these investigations and all the law suits. And, you know, I think we're all just hoping it speeds up a little bit, cuz he's having too much fun hanging out at Mar-A-Lago. Playing golf every day when he needs to be sitting in Georgia, Yep, and Suzanne we you don't want. Everybody loves it anyway. Night wolf says, John, the one thing I really want to know for the nine-eleven commission wage. I think they mean the January 6th. The instruction commission, is the tours that happened the day before. I want to know who did the tour and how many people were part of that? That's the other. That's why are we trying to find that out? You know, it's just one of those things where again, the entire the entire week the entire week and we also, you know, we should talk about the failures of the FBI because it's not like this thing just suddenly sprang up and they didn't have Advance warning. They had been posting on their social media on park for weeks and weeks and weeks. Some of them were arrested when they arrived in d c 2 or 3 days prior. Yep. And they had weapons. They knew these people were coming there to do this month and then it's still happened in the O know what. We didn't know. You knew you'd actually made some arrests, so where's the failures there? But not the tour thing. Zack, needs that needs to be its own investigation, because I think that needs to be a criminal investigation and into those individuals, not, you know, maybe separate from the other big Commission because that'll Serious. Serious. That's treason. That is 100% unquestionably treason. "So, I think you're right about that. I mean, you know, he's instead of turning it off, is Donald Trump. It's actually recorded where Donald Trump. They were like they were like, you know, would you ever ask Jesus for forgiveness? And he's like he comes. I was like, well, I mean, I've done nothing wrong. You know? I mean the guy literally, I mean, you know, you you talk about this and how these people, you know, on the far, religious side fall for this guy, but even when they ask Donald Trump, Donald Trump acts as if, you know, I don't need to be held accountable to Jesus, I mean, nothing wrong. The guy is absolutely horrible know, he is. And, and, and that's why like, I can understand and maybe you guys could, you know, shed some light on this. Why? The hell are these? These lunatics are Republicans, like, Joe McCarthy, and Lindsey Graham clinging to this guy, and thinking, that he something other than a grifter, which is what he and his family have been all their lives. That's all they know. How to steal from people had not pay hard workers. That's all. I mean. How in the world do we have the Republican party now? Because that's what I, I think. Just like someone said, a party of treason. I mean they have become an enemy of America. You know, the, the Kevin McCarthy's and of course your Lindsey Graham's are McConnell's. All these people that are still willing to hand the keys of the party, over to Trump, I'm still trying to Grapple with that myself, because it makes no sense. The guy lost you, the midterms, and 2018 lost to the Senate earlier than January. He lost the presidential election. Republicans lost ground in every special election held while Donald Trump is President, this guy could not have been a bigger political loser. I mean, every race across the bridge, the guy lost, he heard the Republican party irreparably and yet even when he doesn't have Twitter, so we can't even get on Twitter and attack them. Any more he can do some damage to them whatsoever. The only Power he has is what they pretend that he has and they're they're they're still doing it, so I don't get it off. They're afraid he's going to form a third party that could be the only explanation other than that. They're just insane is the only explanation I got. And that was something that, you know they were talking about forming the old Patriot party. But I will tell you this though. You know, once again, Donald Trump was able to tap into the poorly educated and convince those people to vote and am now in these areas where Lindsey Graham is from, like, I don't give two shifts, these are red States, my state in West Virginia. These people, it's a red State. These I got people that ain't never damage to the day in their life, but now without a shadow of a doubt, I gotta go support my truck and they're still going to be voting. And right now, Kevin McCarthy and Lindsey, Graham of them are absolutely counting on all of those people, but still don't get it to come out and vote and they want those votes. So, they are willing to absolutely sell their soul to Donald Trump during the next election in the home. Sit the poorly educated will continue coming out and voting and that's just the way that it is. Laura cost, and thanks for the five bucks. You says, I think Trump has dirt on all of them. That's what it appears to be fair, or doesn't it? It seems like he's got some kind of, you know, he's got pictures of Lindsey when it's like, you know, underage men..

Make America hate again and and and all these people out there, Thursday, then are standing up for Donald like, if you're still standing up and screaming that Donald Trump is the one. Hey, I love your stuff, man. That's my cue. And you, you lay it out, man. I love it. Yeah, I got it off. Yeah, I gotta say that Baron and I know an F so hard for me to say. So I might stutter on your name a few times, I watch your stuff all the time and, and I was just like, I gotta have this guy on, and I was so dead. Be like you said yes. Well I appreciate it. You know, it's it it really is amazing, you know, to the kind of response we get from this stuff and and it's you know, there's never a shortage of material obviously, and you know, I was, you know, the little backstage holding area listening to Richard and he hit on several points there. You know that that were just so brilliant and it's actually things. You know I had said in videos that I get off tomorrow about the Trump thing, you know, the before during and after it was that part before during and after that is what's so important about that commission? Yeah because there's there's an entire day of this guy, you know, at the stop, the steel rally and we gotta get all the little participants and that you know, Fiasco pulled in front of Congress as well. But then, you know, the the director and there are reports that do say this guy was watching this on TV on Fox News, loving every second of it. That's according to people that were in the white house with him, so long You know, that's some of the important stuff that we have to get to the bottom of. And I may be jumping ahead on topics, but I just had to add that cuz it was a brilliant conversation..

"Thirteen ten k. Fda and the auto collision specialist studios. I am brian. Gary filling in for tanner who is often texas relaxing by the pool. Right now I thank him for letting me come in and sit on his show and a big. Thank you to my buddy keith. Burns kept him longer than i anticipated. But i just love talking to him It's been a while since i've seen him. Last time we hooked up was i was hosting event up in north dakota and keith was playing that event and it was fun just to hang out at that time but just a great guy and a good to visit with him. Talk little sports talk some music and don't forget his new single and times be sure to check out we are. I've been having a blast here today again. Thank you to brady. And tanner and ryan and everybody. Who's been doing it. Ryan has been yawning incessantly. Since i got here not he has not stopped from the minute. I walk through the door. Till now i look across and see him yawn which i guess for thirty years. I looked across and saw todd asleep. So now i i can't just see you yawn so it feels very homey thank you thank you. Have you make you feel like you're at home here absolutely. Just stay alert just moderately. That's all i ask for. If i could just get a pulse occasionally to you that we'll see what happens tomorrow Tomorrow on the show again sometime between nine and ten. I'm figuring out the time going to have todd and susan check in and it'll be fun to get the whole. The old good morning gagging gang back together for little habit. Gb fun on friday. But since i've got the airways for for a couple more minutes. I to i always have to do this whenever i get a chance. Any heartfelt thank you to all the men and women who have served this country. I haven't had a chance to get on mike and say it for a while but through these last couple of years it seemed like when you put up that red white and blue wave it you were making a political statement one way or the other and and that bothered me immensely because waving the red white and blue should mean one thing and that you love and respect your country and those who defended it I don't care what your feelings are about present policy or who's in office. Where when that red white and blue should never be disrespected and never felt any other way than pride when that goes up. So i i wanna see that flag. I wanna feel that pride and i think we can get there again. It doesn't mean anything but this country. It's nobody's banner. But the united states of america and to those who defended it who fought for it and continue to do so you make it possible for a longhaired freak like me to come into a studio sit around for a couple hours. Talk about things that are on. Tv top sports. Talk about choices. We get to make every day whether we're going to eat this this go to this place for a drink or what we. We have the opportunity to make choices. Because of what you've done and the freedom you've given us You give us the opportunity to come in here and make tons of mistakes and learn from them and it's because of your sacrifice and what you do that make that possible I encourage everybody to go out of your way I know people say it all the time but when you're in a store when you're in somewhere where you see a vet wearing proudly wearing that hat signifying where they served and when they served you go up and you thank them you just shake their hand and say thank you and it and it may seem like all this weird whatever you know. People do this all the time. I don't need to do that no you do it. You do it because it's just the least we can do. And i have seen the difference. It makes i see it. I am very proud to be on the board of directors for for high plains. Honor flight where we you know. Work together to send veterans to see memorials in washington. Dc and to have been able to go on these trips with world. War two veterans with korean war veterans with vietnam veterans. Soon will be able to take you know from desert storm and so forth to out there as well as their building those monuments but to get to go out there and be with vietnam vet when he takes that sheet of paper and goes up to that wall and finds the name of his loss friend and makes that scratch across it to have that name on the piece of paper and feel the emotion and the release that leaves them. When they're there. It is one of the most powerful and incredible feelings that i have ever experienced and to have gotten that honor is something that i'll never forget and i will never forget what you've done for me. You've given me the opportunity to learn and grow over these last couple of years and find my place and it's all because of the sacrifices that the men and women in uniform have made for us so go out of your way volunteer for organizations that help them do anything you can to give assistance to those who have served us and made the ultimate sacrifice and we're willing to make the ultimate sacrifice for us. It certainly isn't much to ask. And wherever i go. Whenever i get the chance to speak. You're going to hear me. Say that message because i am one proud american. I am proud of the men and women who stand for that red white and blue. And i will always stand right there with you with my hand on my heart but god bless this country and thank you everybody right here in the studio for making this possible. I'm coming back tomorrow with whether they like it or not. I'll be here from nine until eleven. I'll have todd. Susan checking as well and a lot more friday fun. It's no co now. Thank you tanner for let me fill in. And i know you're sitting by the pool. And i hope you're sweating just a little bit just a little uncomfortable and i hope you over. "Taxes for a few days and Tanner was nice enough Well he made the mistake meeting me a few weeks ago and in that conversation where we had a few beers he ended up mentioning that he was gonna be leaving town and asked if i was interested in fill in and and you know what i sure as heck am it is so awesome to talk to you again man. I tell you a little bit about my story. But i've been i spent thirty years behind a microphone and it was all i ever wanted to do this. This was all i ever wanted to do with. My life was get on the radio from the time. I was a little kid sitting in the back yard with a tape recorder doing howard cosell impressions Acting like i was interviewing sports stars and doing that. All i ever wanted was to get on the radio and to be able to have that dream. Come true in live. The career that i did was such an amazing blessing. I spent thirty years in this community. broadcasting on another radio station that We ended up winning. Cma awards got into the country. Radio hall of fame Just had an incredible run and it was all because of this community to be blessed to land in northern colorado is like the greatest thing that could ever happened to me. I started out in in north dakota and number one to be able to escape. North dakota and scale the wall they had built was incredible But i got out landed in south dakota and kept going and came to colorado actually following my wife's job who was opening up. What is now. Carl's junior was a hardee's in downtown greeley Many many years ago in the late nineteen eighties moved out here started in country radio and just fell in love with this area man once you step foot in northern colorado. You know that you have absolutely found having. I grew up in a in a small town. And it was a small community in north dakota and you know it was all farming. It was rural it was that kind of thing but it had this little hint of city in it too and i found that when i moved to northern colorado and landed in greeley that this was exactly the kind of community that i was looking for. Just great people Just the right values everything. So i gotta tell you to be able to get back behind a microphone and talk to you is going to be such a treat over the last couple of days I left the aired about two and a half years ago. And i'll have you note. Everything went to crap then. That was a. Everything's gone good. We were good. I leave and then i mean the covid. I have to think that if i would have never left none of that what happened. I'm just i'm just saying but What we're gonna do over the next couple days. We're we're gonna have some fun. i'm gonna. I'm gonna tell some stories. I'm gonna try to do some of the things. That the tanner normally doesn't here. Because this guy. My hats off to tanner What they've done here at thirteen ten. Kfi has been absolutely wonderful to watch While i've been sitting on the sidelines for the last couple of years just kind of observing radio seeing what brady and tanner and what the whole crew has been doing here at thirteen ten. Kfi has made me really proud as a member of the community seeing the way that they support local causes. That's what just gets me. Charged up is how when you get involved in the community. And that's what i think. Radio was meant to do a radio station signed on and had a license to serve the community and kfi has continued to do that. And it's It makes me really proud to sit in here and be a part of that The way they cover. I tell you any parent who has ever had a kid who has played sports locally which you know. Both of mine did when they were in high school To know that there is a place where they get the spotlight shine on them and We're where people care about. What's going on with our kids in the local activity in our local sports and all that Very proud to be sitting here. And i know that tanner did so good with this show. First year he enters. I think he's only a year into radio one year one year. Which makes me just a little bit sick to see what in one year tanner's been able to do with this show and win a cb award with it outstanding. He is a. I was mentioned into ryan whose producer the show. I'm gonna be bringing him on occasionally because he's gonna be my lifesaver. But i was mentioning to him. That just listening to tanner. I sat in on listen to him. Do the show and dude has just the smoothest most listenable voice. And when you get to meet him you realize he's really that guy so to get to sit in this chair for a couple of days very very honored to do that and we're going to have some fun. I have lived my life unscripted. I never have any idea. Really what i'm gonna do. I'll write out a roadmap. But i'm four wheeler i go off the road. I go all over the place so where we're gonna end up. I don't know i. I know we're going to talk a little bit about sports and some things that happen. I'm a little bit mad at the avalanche. Not because they won because these dang games are scheduled at eight thirty at night. Who in the heck can stay up to see any one of these games. I just can't. I watched the first period and go. I bet the next two are going to be like that. And that's kind of what happened. Avs did win by the way six to three last night. But we'll talk about some of those things also very excited that later on this morning about an hour from now. My buddy keith burns trick pony. Here's going to be checking in. And i have not had the pleasure of talking with with keith for awhile. And i know he's got a brand new single called trion times we're gonna talk about that But also he's been doing a lot of work with With if you remember the dukes of hazzard bo duke. john schneider. He has been doing a lot of work with him doing things with him developing other artists. And i also know that. Keith is a big big sports fan especially a boxing fan. And we're gonna talk about some of that a little bit later on onto also tomorrow we're going to. We're going to have a little reunion of sorts. I i had a great career with a couple of people. Susan more in todd harding and we were good morning guys and We thought it'd be fun to have a little reunion so tomorrow morning. I'm going to have them check in during the nine o'clock hour as well and have a little hab reunion if you will but I'm i'm sitting here and join a cup of coffee. I need a drink. It was a long night. I need coffee ryan. Are you coffee drinker by the way. Yeah i take it black. Or i just charged up energy drinks either one. You do the energy drinks at a bang this morning which was like Two hundred milligrams. I i got a friend. Who does those or the one with like a mandalorian helmet on it. Oh yea the one. i'm talking about. Yeah he does both of those. And i think honestly every energy drink i've ever had tastes like robitussin. Medicine tastes that. I know that's why they're effective. I'm going to say this right now. Red bull works. 'cause red bull tastes so bad that it wakes you up. It does not as it tastes horrible. There's nothing i mean. I go to the bar and i see people who could give me a red bull with vodka or whatever and i'm thinking yeah this is great. What i need is to get drunk quicker and stay hydrated. This is what i really. Love is an alert drunk. That makes me so happy. So red bull. Thank you know. That's one thing. I just can't do. I've had a heart attack all right back. In two thousand and seven i had a heart attack and the soon as red bull touches me i can start to feel my heart screaming at me a little bit so i'm like one of those. I have one cup of caffeinated coffee in the morning then. I switch to decaf. And i hated coffee for thirty years of my life only took it up when i left radio so i would have something in common with my wife. She loves to drink coffee every morning. So i thought. I'll try this coffee stuff and forced myself to it and i drank it too. I like the taste. No but i started thinking as much as sacrifices. I did to try to join her in coffee. I know she likes wine to. I'm thinking i'm going to have to try. That same thing is well but we got a lot of talk about a lot coming up and we'll be back after the break here. I'm brian gary filling in for tanner noko now on thirteen ten. Kfi k. a. northern colorado's voice..

"All right so you have a colorado senate damn democrats are killing that very controversial senate bill sixty two. This was meant to dramatically alter arrests standards and lower statewide jail populations instead introducing just about a week ago unless a sweeping replacement legislation but is this new bill senate bill to seventy theory really any different or is it just kind of like putting lipstick on a pig eight. Oh nine now thirteen ten. Kfi a thirteen ten. Kfi k dot com northern colorado's voice mornings with gail from the auto collision specialist studios and again this morning by jeff clayton executive director of the american bail coalition. Hey jeff incredibly on. Yeah you know me. I don't mince words to me. This new legislation is really not any different from that senate bill sixty two but it does beg. The question is the colorado senate merely playing politics with this new version of the bill. Well it's hard to say with three weeks ago. The old saying is good ideas. Come early and bad ideas. Come late You know having defeated the bill already and this bill. The only real difference is that police can now arrest in the f- Fives and sixes. That they couldn't understand about sixty two by and large the rest of the bills. The same so you know. I don't know if this has a good chance to get now. We'll you know we'll find out this afternoon. Well and it's interesting because if i'm not mistaken and calibrate me on this if you would jeff This bill Like the first one was introduced while the lead sponsor was colorado springs senator pete lee and a- basically while he says that they wanna move in a different direction and be responsive too well. Numerous a multitude of concerns particularly voiced by law enforcement far wide. He actually didn't shy away from the fact that at the root of this the genesis of the legislation. It's really not that much different. He said what we're trying to do is reset the relationship according to a piece out of the denver post by alexander brunettes reset the relationship between the police and the communities. So that the police are thinking summons rather than arrest subdue and incarcerate. so at least he's being transparent about his motivation. Yeah that's just the antithesis of what the criminal justice system should be which is make an independent judgment on the facts and circumstances of each case. So i don't think this is gonna reset anything. I think it's going to backfire. Because what you're gonna see is the very communities. We want to protect the ones that are gonna get harmed by the repeat offenders that are going to continue to get out under this legislation and not be arrested so i don't think it's going to reset any relationships now. This new bill apparently would still limit cash bond for people facing lower level felony charges to cases in which the court actually believes. Someone is a threat to public safety or unlikely to return for their court. Date your take yeah. It was outrageous the victim. Rightback act crimes. We needed to arrest for crimes. Violence within arrest for You know all these other crimes. We needed to have exceptions like felony. Eli they're not in this. Bail section this section says presumptive free bail for all felony fours lower and the exceptions are going to be hard to get so this is going to create a major problem like my new york. Utah that have done this and then went back and repealed it. You've got to colorado commission on criminal and juvenile justice. they're probably pretty likely to reclassify. Numerous felonies to misdemeanors this year..

"Specialists studios. All right got a busy busy morning. Plenty to talk about because well. Oh they're so busy under the state gold dome aren't they now. Well let's see. Where do we start about this. Mandate that governor polish is pushing to regulate our commutes of what we need to be taken out of those single occupancy vehicles kind of interesting. Yeah because it's basically it's a workaround. It's bypasses the legislature and well. It's rather crafty when you take a look at well agencies that really don't have the authority to enforce legislation are doing just that and it gives them the flexibility and the freedom to essentially mimic the scarecrow from the wizard of oz number when the scarecrow was asked what the directions were to emerald city and he crossed his arms and pointed his fingers opposing directions. Well i think we can take that same narrative and lay it over this whole deal with this. Push to reduce air pollution by mandating that employers create commuting alternatives for their employees driving in single occupancy vehicles. It involves the colorado department of public health and environment They're working to create something called. The employees transportation reduction up plans and the new regulations. Because you have to remember that cdph. It's a cabinet level agency. Estate agency falls. Under the purview of governor jared polis regulations would be implemented under the authority of yet another new commission. Yes the colorado air quality control but missing which is controlled by the way by pulis appointees. Well weld county commissioner. Scott james has a little something something to say about this. "Certainly there is still some lingering doubt but she said to this man who once again was goal and on her and accusing her of well being everything. But a psychopath do you remember that. Accusation came out for those. That didn't wanna wear masks back. A mid mid pandemic sable those who don't wear masks they're not only narcissists their psychopaths and she just very calmly said to him. I understand your need to wear a mask. I respect that. I would ask that. You respect my freedom of choice as well well. Unfortunately that didn't calm things down any whatsoever. I mean she was throwing them an olive branch and trying to defuse the entire situation. And it got to the point where you know the line stacking up in sands for people trying to get outside the store you know you gotta show your receipts and they gotta scan it and all that good stuff and she finally said to him sir. I understand that you are upset. And i think what it boils down to is that we all have the freedom of choice and if this is so negative to you that i among with other colleagues on long with other customers aren't wearing a mask in the store will then and she didn't say this aggressively at least i don't believe she did. She said you also have the right to exercise your freedom of choice as to where you shop and again all i could think of was here she is. She's just trying to do her job and she's just getting what for from this guy who's going off on her and her initial reaction to it all is i understand i get it. People are still very very frightened. And fearful and i thought fit for you. I mean you talk about amazing customer service. But she said as i was leaving she said thank you. I appreciate the conversation she says. I'm not going to yell at anybody for wearing a mask. That's their choice and it's their right to make that choice. All i ask is that people. Don't yell at me for.

"Shifted from mask requirements to mask suggestions resulting in mass confusion. Do you have to wear a mask at various stores or not. Well you've got more and more stores taking that suggestion and factoring it into their equation. Their mask equation allowing us to ditch. There are mass within the confines of their stores and again it is up to the individual business owner. Which is why you shouldn't entirely ditch that mask yet.
