"The sense that Superman is at the events of Batman Versus Superman. Yeah. Well, I mean no one knows about her except for lex Luther who has you know icons. Per Professionally designed with their logo on his computer. I, guess she's just lying around the world and her invisible chat known seeing her so Okay. Okay what What was the scene that you saw you mentioned before you saw two different or you saw two different sets but what was the scene you actually got to being filmed? So the scene I did mention it also before it was in the White House corridor in which Diana in Steve are fighting a group of secret service or skirt yards. It's not sure which and Steve Grabs a platter or tray of some sort and uses it flexible. It's and protect him Diana as they run across. The hall and that is the scene that we saw basically, and that's that was the biggest. These of action that we've Otto is quite interesting and definitely felt like there is a significance to the fact that the White House is a major setting in the film and We also did see the set of the stadium where the Amazonian Olympics take place but it was only the end point of a big obstacle course which includes a big triathlon through land water and mountains, and so to end such. Okay. So this film is mostly set in our world than the one thousand, nine, hundred, eighty s what has Diana's been up to? So, Diana has been dutifully protecting humanity at for the past sixty plus years but keeping out of sight, and she's best described as being still detached and from the rest of humanity and lonely ever since Trevor's death, and that's something that she is struggling with at the beginning of the film despite making a new friend with Barbara. but that you know soon, changes when Steve Trevor Miraculously somehow comes back and and. Talk. About that. What is up with that? Like how is he backed because he clearly died right? He did die. And This is the part where I start to perhaps speculates I don't want to go home with us. Let's get to the speculation at the end of this episode so that people can tune out there not that you know anything but you know sometimes speculation can be can be true and. Then does it become a spoiler? I don't even know the move whatever. But What what did they say because? I'm guessing you had to ask Chris and Patty about this. Why is why is Steve Feeling? They would not answer. They basically gave no how as to how he was back, but they did say that bring him back was a chance for them to expand upon the dynamic of Steven Diana which was such a big and delightful appeal. The first one woman, and one of the fun things about expanding that in Amac is that they get to flip the the fish out of water story that they. Told with Diana and the first film, and now they give it to Steve in this film and Chris. Pine said, he had a lot of fun playing at that and playing a more boyish side of Steve. Trevor where he was a worldwide spy in the first film in here, he gets to be a man out of time I'm wearing many fanny packs apparently one of the tax that he. Gets got to work. This is something that I got very excited about but he he there are several choices that are eventually scrapped but one was American. Flag Fanny Pack. A all denim, sandy pack and I. think There was also a a hats with a fan or something. But those are all unfortunately scrapped and he has the courage. Regular Fanny Pack But yes. He he gets to be that fish out of water in this and that kind of puts the power in. Diana's hands. They get to explore what that relationship is beyond that meet cute flirtation that they had in the first film. It does occur to me that you know being a guy named, Steve. was in the military and now you're a fish out of water out of time. Maybe there's a reason why they didn't give him that an American. Phoenix Fanny Pack, right? Yeah. Maybe that's why but yeah. They they did speak about the what this movie would be in comparison to the last film where the last one was horrible war film an origin film Patty Jenkins. Described this as a romantic comedy needs action while Chris Pine described as a grand romance seems like the romantic part will play a major part in this film maybe even more so than the first film. What did we learn about why? This film and One thousand nine s aside from you know that nine hundred eighty s becoming cool again with stranger things. Like why why is the story here in the nineteen eighty s there's actually a very significant reason that it set in the one, thousand, nine, hundred, eighty s, and a both the assistant producers as well as Patty Jenkins spoke about how the eighties to them were symbol of America at its heights in America at its lowest points and about how it is an era of access of decadence of That kind of Merican, dream being realized. But also how that American dream was an illusion in many ways and that is embodied in the villain played by Pedro Pascal who we now know is Maxwell Lord back. Then they would not reveal Maxwell Lord. They just said that he is the president of black gold international and that he is a desperate self obsess fraudulent entrepreneur who runs a business, the American dream and as they were speaking about this and they were speaking about the significance of the eighties it's very much feels like A very pointed critique at the current a White House administration and the. would be lifeless the fraudlent businessman who currently sits in the White House. Fair think some of those the. Definitely accused of that, right? Yes. He has gone to court for such things. So it definitely feels like they are they. They picked this era for a reason and it's interesting too because in the eighties Ronald Reagan was president he was the president that. was most symbolic of the eighties he. was much eat nine and there have been a lot of articles and. That have drawn comparisons Reagan, who is an icon of political conservatism with trump, and that's something that I think is pretty intentional. Even if it's something that they don't quite say explicitly didn't they didn't fight say explicitly during the census but I feel like that was a pretty easy line to draw. But by the way to give you an give the people out there listening another indication of how long ago you were on set Peter Pascal had not yet even gone to film the mandatory Laurean. At the time that he was making this movie. So that's how long ago we're. We're probably when this woman come out comes out later this year yeah comes out October twenty twenty. So it comes. To seasons of the worrying before we get. Wow we get this movie. It's kind of crazy. Crazy. Okay so Do you you know I I. Know You have more to say about your speculation how that character fits in. We'll talk about that. The very end of this I, promise Let's talk about the film's though it's like who are the film's Villains The villains as we know our Cheetah and Max Bell Lord and Patty Jenkins specifically chose these two characters as both foils for wonderment in foils for the era Cheetah. She felt was a very good very symbolic of one woman's owns of emotional journey. And Cheetah of course is known as wondered wonder wins biggest rogues. She's often viewed as her main arch nemesis because of just how she is the embodiment of rage envy as opposed to Romans own dignified compassion, and in this case she Patty. Jenkins thought at a Cheetah who is a character who wants to be like other superheroes in God's would be a really great emotional foil to wonder woman while Maxwell. Lord. Fits the bill for a thematically representing the movies themes of eighties excess and the illusion of the American dream. Okay, how how how we're all going to connect?.

"So like after watching it, I felt like a I don't know like I closed a substantial gap more than it really is, but here here's one big pro for this movie. I think I'm. Enjoying this movie, I think that watching this movie opens door to a lot of other interesting things. Like. It requires you to take another step after watching it. But if you do start reading up about this movie, you get to kind of know about zero mostel who played be Allison Max Bell stuck and know he did a lot of other interesting things including fiddler on the roof, which I now want to check out if you kind of read up about gene wilder who? Who Plays Bloom in the movie you find out that the producers was his first big role in the later played in a lot of movies that people love most notably perhaps is Willie Wonka and the chocolate factory, and this is Mel Brooks first movie and he made a few other comedies. Earth are supposed to be very good. Maybe I, want him at some point. If I like them half as much as they did the producers, then they're worth the time of watching. But on the other hand, I have in my notes, something. That is kind of like what you said I don't know if we can call this movie essential. Definitely happy that I know it I. I don't know if it's something that everyone should know. I, can't feel that I connected with it more than you guys did I. Don't know if it's a surefire hit for for everyone. But with that in mind Peter. Give it. Your vote. 'EM Finan. Mustache bears scratch of. Your. Head. ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE MONACO MAY BE. inviting Nar just saying I. I am writing an ominous strike of the mustache. So basically, we can already say that the producers is out, but just out of interest, are you what what would you voted? Struggle. The mustache but very respectful. One I would have given it a tip of the hat just. So everyone knows where I stand but. The producers you're out the next thing. We've done is deja-vu by crosby stills. Nash, and Young. Rock album that has songs written by each member of the band and mostly features the harmonizing of their voices is. A fantastic album I. really liked it. As I told you guys on my stood of lung list of rotations. behind some of my favorite bands, these one gets. Gets quite often, and there's so many different sort of styles of. Than, of intensity in this album, what really makes specialists at this forcing is full contributors and it's one of the best. Albums that I can think of by four people that on in constant band, because if you look through the the album releases many years between between releases. So it's a bit of a special occasion for me for this album especially because it's probably one of their albums released in the late sixties, early seventies period in addition to that, some of my favorite songs are on this album would stalk and helpless and Love Lotta Great Hits carry on and I really really enjoyed it. The only thing I would like to put a counterweight on is just When I think about the the most the greatest albums of all time, I can think of probably thirty to fifty albums to listen before this one. So. It it because music is is really quite competitive united. Were still in the early stages of put costs where if we did a podcast essentials list, this is probably only taint can think of to that..

"At a very very long winded for segment of the program, so some of you may have. Forgotten a couple of the things that I said I was going to get through his moves to the program. Two major things in addition to what I've already discussed number two is coming up at a moment here and interesting piece that deals was. As I said what are the contradictions that seems to be in place right now with the let from the lefties in which? Bullying. Riding violence tough talk. Yet at the same time. This fear. They say they have of hurtful speech at all it. I'm scared to death. The Kobe German so odd. And then. The fact is a fact that the cold tests are going way way up at a time in which the temperature has gone way way up. There are many people who were of the opinion that you would see this virus. Start to shrink and go away in the summer months, which happens with many flu type. Illnesses. That didn't happen with this why that was still to come? Let me, move to this as you know one of the columns that I share from time to time in the program. We put him up on belling dot Com Victor Davis Hanson. He's very conservative guy at. He's very astute, social observer. And he's commenting on this phenomenon of. Remarkable belligerence. Violence. Aggressiveness. From the very same liberals. That seem almost meek and timid. When confronted with anything they don't like. Now. One part of this is something I've mentioned for a long time. Liberals condition out, but they can't take it. They're like any other type of bully. When the standards that they establish for everyone else are applied for that to them. They go nuts. The queasy of the Jeffrey Epstein crowd. An example of that. By the way over undone when when which which which prince it is at Andrew stared this as as the when he. Mysteriously dies is Andrew Alive Labor Day of next year. Nice. Got To be a lot of deaths that cover out of this week. Yes I've read a single positive review of his very elegant to stay. Yeah rhythm for his every barry white the Pud if you expect that was Larry Yung accepted. Lloyd Bradley Glaring of the Microphone me rented money on well so the second piece is an interview that Max Bell of the enemy actually mentioned did just before these shows and he's kind of asking Brian about them and I haven't been there yet. I'm not going until they push me on stage. I was quite nervous about this. But the talk of the pace really sums up the enemies. Rc CHEATS BARN. Ferrari picture of him wearing tweet John. "You'd be having to hear me but I really be complaining too much until comes like play class for ten weeks part-time tasty this whole like once every two weeks right. You only have one. Every two weeks are intense me on us we are living off. My job is whatever whatever I do think like testings over on it. I'm don't do it again in my opening I'm twice twice Canales three four or five times. He's getting weird now. Much more coast here Damien Woody. You know what it's like to wear that green. Hey what's up. Everybody got your rings with the with the PATS and you got your cash with the green the lions. Oh Yeah Yeah yeah you know about Detroit. Worst car is everything okay. Came came up with the past and go get paid from the suckers it. Okay how that goes Max. Bell overreacting dramatic with this. I don't think he is. My answer is no and I'll tell you why. NFL has no credibility. Like when they say things. Stephen I've been arguing about capper nick when I hear the. NFL fell. And then like I knew something was going on in the waiver wasn't the same and all these things like people just like do you think the NFL lies about stuff even asked me point blank. Yeah do I think Pete. They'd say things that aren't true and put stuff out. That isn't true that they know not to be true. It seems to me that that is the case. So who has Levian Bell is levy on bell. Someone someone you'd be testing for these right now. Only if I was his team mate. I'd be lake. Let me test you for. PD's you're not taking these marches. Take some get you gave us this year. He's not producing this here on this guy. You look at you go. He's so why is the league randomly and say randomly with the air quotes right. Because you believe leave. It's always random. Why is he being targeted? Within an off year five times in ten weeks for well you can be tested up to six times. Yes I know. They're within within their right. But we believe it's just random or or as someone who kind of showed a way to take control of your own on career by the way. Just sit out here. Sit Out you don't have to do it. And then you can. You can choose your own. Destiny does something come back to them. Someone like Richard Sherman believes that his involvement in the NFL. PA actually influences refs and stuff like that. So you're saying he's getting tested five times a year to declare because he held L. doubt. So maybe this is some retaliation on the low. What I'm saying is the? NFL has been caught enough. Time telling half truths were putting stuff out there that we find and out later on is not true or not to be true. That if I'm Levian Bell I'm thinking Oh all of the sudden being tested all the time you buy numbers you think of setting any records this year. Why am I being tested all the time again? And I'm glad Damien Woody is here for the segment because in a different kind of way way vis takes me back to the capital situation okay. I'm almost exhausted. Bring this point up. Do I think the NFL has targeted doggone. It you love the umbrella talking to you. Is it fair. Hell no with ain't fair. Is it predictable. You Know Damn right it is this. Why are you sitting here? Actor surprised by this. Get over it. We won't hold on a second. What what what what kind? What kind of tissues issues Kleenex tissue? Also what do you want us to say. The fact that the matter is it's perfectly within their right to do it. How did this come about? They really Oh. The Players Association said the body that represents you gave Dave the NFL. The right to do it is it know how is it. Do I believe it's random. HELL NO DO I. I believe you being targeted. Yes but with the four-game suspension in two thousand and sixteen. Have something to do with it. A year I'm out time out. Time Out four-game suspension for failing to appear for mandatory. Drug that we we just want to do now smarter stacked so the very thing that got suspended you're threatening do now really memory serves that was not a PD he detests. We'd I believe it was leave. It was by then go small when I say this Max when Omis man sat out for the year. What does this mean you talking? NFL People along with folks like myself. We're we're hearing what he stayed away because they weren't sure he pat the debt past that he would have to take. Now thank bell. Hell No. Is it predictable. Yes obviously he knows that did he still want to fifty two two million yes he did. So what I'm saying is to to stamp afforded media. I support Levian bells frustration. I I support what he's saying about the NFL. Because I think it's a bit too transparent supportive. He goes out to the players association. Because of the damn agreement that they they reached with the League. Inescapable P- Pundit niable point that I keep regurgitating day after the day after day. You know what they're going to do. And why so you come out complaining about it. While playing in the League and taking their check is just blowing smoke into the win. It's happening here which I want me to say here. I want you get what you want me to go. You want to be real. Yes this cut this whole. Aj's his name was after me. This was collective collectively bargain. Two thousand eleven that was after you know Martina elite. There were times when I play where there were some years where I didn't get tested at all. We didn't do blood tests urine tests and then there were times times where I was getting tested every week. And what was your bench. What was the Max on your bench? Five five five six five you just country strong. Yeah just country strong in the bench but you know what I want you I will say. Hey this Leon can. Bill can say all of that he liked money. You cast nets you got you got the bag on on so is random though. 'cause you had years you weren't years multiple say where is it based on conspiracy. Here's the theories if you want really want me to see at the bottom line is the NFL NFL PA collectively bargain. This arrangement. LAZY ON BILL IS CASH. The check so to me. That's two plus two. What do you and what do you want me to say right here? I don't like it I don't have any I don't have anymore anymore else to really offer other than what I just said they min. Max Ah Max you laugh about this you really do. But I don't think you understand how serious I am when I say I hate getting coming up in the morning. I really don't think you understand the magnitude Max. There are this evidence that I've passed up millions because I want to get up in the morning. I can't stand it I hate with a passion. ESPN that's where the it's ten o'clock show. And I look at my check and I'm like I got to give to the Max Max I I have never done drugs ever I one of those guys that I believe abbreviation put you in a position where someone else's in more control of you you then you are yourself and I despise that that that predicament. So I've done it and you know I drink amazing some of your opinions and you've never done the sixty five here. We go for me for me personally to drink. Maximum per week at Beth. Max There is no reason to drug test me right. ESPN WANNA give me a drug test. Dal Check let me go up. Jokes jokes aside. I want to say something new. I get like you had mentioned it on the air you were reading and stuff like that. Your mother who worked six days a week sixteen hours a day no vacations for twenty years type thing with all those kids taught you had like from the islands like that whole work work work. They there was a who did it in living color. Fame on airlines right like my. We understand what the culture is an especially when you're not giving any breaks shift to do it all yourself now you're on top of the world. You don't that that. Ethos ethic does not have a lot of patience for people complaining about trifling stuff right. People could train about things that Komo chain. But here's the thing levy on bell same thing. Bell had to put himself in this position. No one gave it to to work himself in this position. And if if you're saying hey. This is within the rules. That's all good Stephen. I got no argument but it comes down to. Do you believe it's a random test. That is the language to your. Yeah I don't know the due I we side would levy on bell but to go up in a press conference and say I again. Oh yes the how is of course. He got frustrated. Who should we be yelling at now? Levey I'm bell or the League of Elite League the League but was saying the Levian Bell Stop Grabbed Multiple Times. He signed a contract and so random..

Police confiscated both Josh and Susan Cell Phones but Josh had removed the SIM card out of both of them phones there was no sim card in Susan's phone and he somehow pop the SIM card out of his cell phone before we took it when what he was looking but they were able to get Josh's phone records and discovered he did something odd that very first morning after his neighbor Giovanna all data from Cell Phone Towers Place Josh in West Valley during the call but as soon as he hung up he drove about twenty miles south toward the campsite where he said we take the kids and then he turned around back toward West Valley and it's at that point that he calls Susan's phone and leaves her voicemails that he's on his way home from their camping trip we are on our way back and I can't believe that somehow my brain this today pod today with Sunday that was really really stupid anyway hopefully you got to work okay but remembered Giovanna had just told him Susan it did not make it to work and Josh had confirmed with his sister Jennifer that Susan wasn't at her office and yet minutes after he did that he pulled up outside Susan's building and left her and other voicemail here intron accusers he news brother Michael who come down from Washington shortly after Susan disappeared the police suspected he knew something but he never told them what and Josh kept slipping through their fingers endless frustration when Max bell got the lab results from that object Josh it apparently worked so hard to destroy the along with me coming up Josh Powell tells his story really hurts people.

"The iphone seven had a virtual life home button and that's where i have to stop stretching touching this already beyond torn metaphor but the iphone eleven will not having a virtual is not well supposedly have a much better multi angle face idea system that will unlock earlier faster and from a much wider variety of angles including while lying flat on the table at two that rumors of reverse inductive charging urging so you can top up compatible air pause by placing them on top of the phone and as apres s years go this one is shaping up to be the most compelling since well the last one the iphone seven and maybe even much more than that and while pundits just love to tell us how boring iterative and skip -able s ears are when i asked all of you. Tell me your favorite iphones. The one like gangbusters like six seven rounds not even close five s was second second four as third seven plus fourth six s v three g._s. Sick so yeah there's that fundamental disconnect between coverage and customers again it brings me to second the market apple made a mistake last year when they originally experimented with testing the upper feature and price limits of the iphone they didn't do it by making the iphone more expensive. They did it by making more expensive iphones. Let me explain the iphone. Five s was succeeded by the iphone six but on top pop the iphone six apple at a more expensive iphone as well the iphone six plus slowly over the next couple of years apple added features and expense to the plus models like that second camera and extra score of dollars and we largely rewarded them for it. We made the more expensive iphones the bestsellers ehlers even when apple introduced the iphone ten in two thousand seventeen. They did it on top of the also new iphone eight an iphone eight plus in other words. The the more expensive model was still marketed on top of what people considered the standard model. It was never marketed as the standard model. Those expectations were never upset until the iphone tennis and iphone ten. S max apple had tried marketing less expensive iphones before but we didn't buy it again. We told apple what we wanted was more expensive. Iphones not a less expensive one last year. Though with a thousand dollar iphone tennis poised to become the new normal apple tried under- cutting it again this time with the just as colorful but differently compromised iphone ten are and while yes they named themselves into a corner owner and the iphone ten are ended up being super popular and the market as a whole was approaching saturation expectations still ended up being upset the ten s was seen as the new normal and the tenor as something underneath it and some customers felt like they were being priced out that margins were down from their twenty twelve peaks that sales were largely flat overall that we're keeping phones longer making the amortized cost better. None of the actual financial analysis mattered the narrative was that phones in general and iphone in particular had become simply too expensive enter the iphone pro. I saw few people wonder out loud. Why samson uncalled the latest galaxy note the note ten and note ten plus instead of making the plus the regular no ten and positioning the smaller one as the note ten e beneath it like the s. ten was positioned beneath the regular s. ten and credit where it's due. I think samsung was super smart the way they did it same with alway and the p versus p._e. He pro mate versus made pro. People like to feel things fit their budget not. They're fitting in budget things that they're getting stuff for less not that they're getting less less stuff. It might sound like nuance but nuance matters getting a note ten feels better than getting a note ten and not getting an extravagant plus feels better than not not being able to get what should be normal apple knows this better than just about anyone they made a big iphone six and a bigger iphone six plus not a bigger iphone six six and a smaller iphone six minus but when apple went from the iphone eight iphone eight plus an iphone ten to the iphone ten our iphone tennis and iphone tennis max something flipped intentionally or not the iphone tennis maybe because it came out first. Maybe because s was familiar are was new. Maybe whatever something flipped and all of a sudden the more expensive iphone tennis on top became perceived as the new expensive normal and the less expensive iphone ten are <unk> as something beneath it instead of you can get an iphone for seven hundred fifty bucks or if you really want to a souped up iphone for thousand dollars became an iphone cost thousand dollars but you can get a cheaper one for seven fifty if you're willing to give up some stuff and nuance matters apple of course never had this problem with the mac they they just had the macbook or macbook air and on top of it the math book pro not with ipads either where they had the ipad or ipad air and then added on top of it the ipad pro so now it sounds like apple is going to the past to fix the present and instead of iphone eleven our iphone eleven and iphone eleven max which would create the the same negative perception. They'll have the iphone eleven iphone eleven pro and iphone eleven max the ever can't john prosser has been saying for a while now that the market doesn't isn't need innovation it needs compromise but i think it needs most though is maturity not in terms of penetration that's happened but in terms of segmentation which always has is to follow along time ago fellow by the name of steve jobs grew a grid labeled it desktop and notebook consumer and professional things got more complicated after to that but really they didn't mobilize mature now and apple is going back to the grid phone and tablet consumer and professional macbook and macbook pro and mac pro ipad and ipad pro iphone and iphone pro. Things are more complicated than that but really they aren't so according to rumors the new iphone eleven will have triple cameras steel and lead parts and a much more proper by which i mean restricted said of new finishes the new consumer iphone eleven by which i mean just the iphone eleven will have dual cameras a truly obscene chipset long battery life any bunch of fun colors and it'll cost caused much closer to what iphones always cost what people expect them to cost especially. If apple does what i've been hoping they do for a while now and that what is toss up a slide that explains not just the cost but the value prop beyond the cost getting an iphone eleven. We'll feel better than getting an iphone. Eleven are and not getting an extravagant iphone. Eleven pro will feel better than not being able to get what should be just the normal iphone. Eleven and things might just flip back at least for customers if not coverage even if people are keeping iphones longer if apple is making them last longer if trade ins and aftermarket we sales means. You don't have to pay anywhere near full price anyway. Even if every blogger podcast and youtuber is rubbing their hands with glee just just getting ready to shout out to you about the iphone eleven not being a compelling upgrade for iphone ten s owners despite apple intending the iphone eleven for people still bill on the iphone six s or iphone seven for whom it would be a great up and no never mind. "Driving to bowling. And I'm like, oh, God this road is or January every flight was cancelled from Scottsdale, Chicago except mine. Oh, so lucky. I'm stuck here. For Sunday's the best day at the pool. Comeback monday. When it's fifty all of a sudden, the snows melt cancel the flight. Unbelievable incredible. Yes. Boys base to see you. We had a bunch of different discussions, and we got into this porter Moser stuff because he's interviewed for the job. And I don't think it's a good fit. I believe in porter. I think he could coach team Australia to championship. He's great coach. But to take a job, and has to be a fit is no ties to recruit out there. Staff members that have so you'd be working with strange staff members in a job that has won one game in thirty years. Into the money talk. Come on. That's exactly the next amount of years hitting coach maximize what you're making their too appealing things. Right. You're listen to the money talk. And then doesn't seem John still play a substantial number of home games at Madison. Something for a basketball life or something to that. I mean. Of their home games are played there. If you can do what you did it loyal at Saint John's, your you're fixing Saint John's. Game in thirty years. But you're playing in the basketball mecca of this country basketball mic, and like, I think there is an allured of that for coach coaches, they hire before him have been lesser men. The last three guys lesser men is in terms of lesser coaches. Obvious surprised if he takes it. That there's no reason to coach for charity if you're going to coach you might as well make money. I don't care if you're compensating him. Well, aren't they? Yeah. Seventy five in the NBC. Other college coaches make more money than that. Right. What would Saint John's pay too many more than that? Yeah. Got a double of salaries for million coach there five years coaching ten at loyal to hell come on. That's a big difference between nine seven five and two million. Oh, man, except his just bought a new home Buckingham Ricketts how six and fifty cents a Cup of coffee and his family is is kids are very entrenched in their schools. Very happy. I would be surprised if he makes. The new. Shop for that fit two million. We'd be nice the money. Take them on your cost of living goes up, gene. Coach team. There's no doubt about that. If you're if he does leave for me, search begins and ends with one name, John Shire, John Shire by Loyola, I know, all right? Yeah. They can get on board for that. Coach K John doesn't just want to wait it out. What about one of the current assistance? At Loyola their top assistant took the southern Illinois job ready about a month ago. I would hire Jeff Dickerson. That's just me. Their play by play guy. Burn field fields recruiting coordinator, ready to go. Jordan gets the head job and JD's. Over loyal. Would hire Shire, and I had talked with somebody who said to me. He's a Jewish kid from the north shore, actually, his wife, and his mom or Catholic. It doesn't matter. Jesuit school. They find a way to make it work. So we'll see what happens happening Darvish last night. Darvish into the bad. Darvish is fast. Fall was all the same ninety nine ninety eight like, whoa. How much? And it took the umpire everybody took a piece of everybody. Probably more than hurt Brinson by the time. It got to the catcher that really didn't know. Yeah. Gotta go. You could tell the banner got it. The got it twice on the shoulder face, man. That's got a smart about a time. It dropped on the back of the catcher matter. Darvish looked pretty good thought for the most part breaking ball was sharp. Like a tiger. Ninety seven ninety eight and six. Billy Koch guns. Remember that I think he had he was throwing it that guy at Lewisburg. That one got away. But I'll tell you that catch more a made was something and Brisbane made one similar. I mean, that's a. Yeah. And that catch that more made in the first inning. Standing out was. He started where he caught that. Holliday had to be five percent amazing. Speaking of low probability, I read an article this morning that win the game went to thirty one. I think seven minutes to go quarter the clippers chances of winning were point zero one percent if you'd live bet that we gotten. Thousand I was gonna say more than that. I mean, I don't think they offer. Goes right up to fifty to one never put it above that might they might cap. Yeah. I don't know. Exactly how they do that. That's a good question. Maybe for Furman. I don't know how could two hundred fifty to one seems light at that point. Oh. If I was looking on my computer went thousand one ten bucks. Yeah. They I'm sure they do have a limit on how they set those. How they never see a five thousand one before the season starts, right? Have you ever seen it with major league baseball five thousand one you know, you did though with Leicester City. That's my point. You see it in Europe when they think nobody's got a chance to out there. They've never set kind of figuring NFL team that you have to probably gonna only win three games. It'll be three hundred hundred fifty two hundred let you win money out of team. That's impossible. They'll let you know sucker you in a little bit. But those Leicester City is were realize even the Orioles going into this year. I think we're like three hundred one Yorks, right? I mean, you're not going to offer anything like that five hundred five hundred do you believe with this that it's impossible or very very difficult to win. If you have to pay your quarterback top level. It's hard all of a sudden you're going to be able to pay Bobby Wagner. Are you going to be able to pay who's the kid? They franchise. Blanking his name who's the edge rusher. They franchise that hasn't signed the tender. I'm blanking on I'm drawing rusher. In Seattle franchise. I'm looking right at him. And I can't think of if Bobby Wagner, and then the franchise ten, I'm just blanking. I'm sorry. So able to pay the both of them Clark there to thank trading. Is on the market Andrew branches tweeted biggest myth in NFL team building. You can't have a top level roster with a QB making upper-echelon money. Simply not true, excuse cop-out. Louis Riddick re tweets says exactly which is what everyone's looking for excuses. It's funny quarterbacks missed the playoffs last year. That's probably an outlier. You don't wanna look at small samples like that. But it gets tough. Look what it did the now. I guess if the quarterbacks good it matters like your co called it years ago, there should never pay. Joe flacco, and it ruined that French it ruined that front did did they win a playoff game since they gave Joe flacco that money may maybe maybe last year did they win one. I think last I. Played horribly. Chargers. Since I want her to great quite the argument would be well, it's not because they overpaid flacco. It's because they were paid a bad quarterback. Like, that's the. As long as you're paying the good one. I think I would take it like don't you have to pay. Russell wilson. I wouldn't pay again at thirty five. Right. Because Tom Brady's a freak. And I don't think there are many Tom Brady's out there wouldn't pay them for years from now. But you're going to talk about this couple of weeks ago. He's thirty thirty isn't he thirty? I think Russell Wilson's thirty. Thirty play baseball. He transferred. He was twenty four when he came into the league or twenty three. So I think he's a little bit older charges. Be Baltimore twenty seventeen in Baltimore. So if you pay the right quarterback, I think it's okay. But you better make sure he's the right quarter paying Kirk cousins. Good luck to you paying Joe flacco, good luck to you. All right. Let me give you another one. Did you see the interview Darren rebel did with the guy who bet eighty five K on tiger? I didn't see the interview. But I read the storm read it. Yes. Okay. Do you believe it? Maybe I'm missing something. All I did was read a headline in little five. Maybe two paragraphs story that said a better late in the week went to William Hill in place eighty five thousand dollar wager for tiger to win. Anyone do? Okay. Oh, yeah. Okay. Flew, first of all he was twenty five thousand in the hall the end of December lost his business. He he was a supplement supplier and distributors suppliers. Did not come through the product. He lost his business. He's twenty five K and whole December. So this is not from gambling. He's twenty five in the whole sports life. So he's twenty came to haul in March says to his girlfriend lives in Wisconsin says to his girlfriend, I just had an piffling. Tiger Woods is winning the masters. He sell some of his Amazon stock it's in the Bank. And it's a national Bank branch. We go in any branch across the country gets on a plane last Tuesday flies the Vegas. He walks into the first casino. They said yet max will take four grant. Nope. Thanks walks into the west gate. Sorry, Max Bell. We'll take ten grand goes to the S L S and says I'd like to eighty five thousand at Tiger Woods, Nick Bogdanovich. Well known. Handicapper he's their guy. He said it's way above my pay grade. I can't accept that wager. Let me make it call 'cause the president of William Hill. US president he said eighty five K fourteen and one take the book, he says, okay? I'll be right back. He goes takes an Uber to WalMart in Vegas. He buys a backpack. He goes from there to we'll call it chase. He said, yeah, I'd like to withdraw eighty five cata my account, please in cash he puts it in the back do that. By the way. That's what I don't believe. Because I can't believe a Bank allows you to withdraw eighty five money money. They've got they've got an X amount of dollars a percentage of what they have. They have to have at the Bank. Yeah. Walk into a Bank and take out eighty five grand their holdings in the Bank are a hundred billion dollars. They've gotta have an x amount of that percentage in the Bank. Remember ocean's eleven when he said Vegas casino has every. Ship. They got a cover a Bank only to have a percentage of what they have. Okay. So he then takes the five K sticks. It in the backpack walks out and calls, it Uber doesn't even think about it gets uberpool. Everything's right mind would put eighty five thousand dollars this guy. Did he did it eighty five? Outrageous wagers to they had a list of the outrageous wager. You're taking. He gets pool. He doesn't even get his own Uber. He gets in a mom and daughter in there, and they're having their own conversation about I don't know how we're gonna pay for things in our life because I feel bad. I got eighty five Cain my backpack. If that thing wins I wanted to take care of them. But I don't know who they are. He said I walk in. I put the eighty five down. They gave him two tickets each one cost forty two five they didn't separate tickets and he flew back out yesterday that and they presented a check for his points at one point. She's. Cluding his wager point one nine obviously it happened. William Hill is backed up the story. I mean, but I believe all those details. Also checked reveals that they went and checked with the three biggest sports wagering houses in Vegas that handle all of them confirm. They've never accepted a bet from the guy. He's never met them. Well, that's pretty crazy and his girlfriend. That's the better part if they asked his girlfriend what we thinking he was watching it with his dad, and with her and the girlfriend said you're going to do what we're twenty five thousand in the hole, and you're going to bet eighty five grand selling your stock. And she said, but I can't tell him not to do it. Because if it wins that we didn't make the play I could never live with myself. She's like, all right. Good luck. And when Nari dump the two in the water twelve twelve I mean, like his there been over one hundred and fifty five we say this all the time at one hundred and fifty five yard hole that wreaks more havoc on these guys. I mean that last stretch there. I mean, four out of five for sixty four to six are dumping it there in tiger made the smart play aim for the middle go right between the short short, you go in the bunker. You don't hit enroll back? Exactly. Again, I don't know. I don't think checks for the guy from. He's got another one potentially. Yes. So I knows Wisconsin state tax is going to get about four five percent of that knuckle SAM's gonna take about thirty three percent of that. So oh, yeah. Good luck to that. One point one nine twenty five in debt, you know, going up. Yeah. It's still pretty sweet. Well, it's not bad. You're going to take it, right? Fourteen. Fifty five thousand goes Uncle Sam, I mean to Wisconsin. And then Sam gets selves about four hundred thousand four hundred grand and all of a sudden now. Quite what it was. So rich uncle good old Uncle Sam, you got a little over little under seven hundred thousand dollars. Yeah. But it's still pretty good. I was at the post office yesterday by Paul. I was going to go in and buy stamps got tax day. They were like side the Bill could barely get the envelope into the mailbox yesterday was full. The man was coming out of the top. Here's my check crinkle Sam. That's what you're going to address it to Sam see what they say. Kansas City, Missouri. United States Treasury. I'm just gonna write on their pay to the order of uncle. Smart ass. Bring it on on it. You. Sam here. Those are no fun. Boy. Oh boy. I don't know, man. Could tiger do another one the way he played yesterday. Why not?.

"Happy to. Also were both January thirty first people. This is birthday today. Yes. This is amazing. It's birthday today. And what better way to celebrate a birthday than with doing a podcast doing my job? Doing you doing a favor for someone else's? How do you? Celebrate your birthday because I think we we're in this zone where older right? We're not. So. So the idea of going out and getting wasted is not like high on my list again one gong fucked up. My only accidentally get fucked up these days where I'm just saying. I guess I had five drinks last night. I remember. Yeah. I know I did I did something it won't point. Oh, I'm the kind of gone right now. But it's so rare almost a dose myself. Yeah. So my my birthday traditions more or less like the weekend before after the birth. We have trouble because usually the birthday after our birthdays the Super Bowl, which is what it's doing this year. She got to do the one before which is the Pro Bowl weekends. You get. Yeah. It's a little tricky. Because we're yeah. Thirty I is a is a good one because far enough away from Christmas, which is great. Yeah. But we're fucked by the Super Bowl it is. And you like I've always been like no one wants to party on the Saturday night before a super now at least when you were younger now that I'm in my late thirties. Although last year for my birthday, I did rent a chartered a bus and took fifty friends to go. Well, they paid for their tickets. But we went took fifty people to go watch USA play Argentina in rugby down in Carson, California workout amazed. That's amazing. I think it's like it's hard to figure out what to do on your birthday because you want to treat yourself. Well, you also want to like I like to take the day off. I'm a big believer taking the day off on. This is tech. Early on off. I'm off now. But I want to do anything. Right. Like, you're saying you won't even schedule something for January thirty first during the day if you like that. You have to work to work. Yes. Yeah. Exactly. If they have to work you have to work. But if I can have any control over it. It's like, no, it's a it's like a free day. You should. Yeah. You should be able to sleep in. Yeah. Maybe get a little help. I'm not a parent, but you are imagining like, well, yeah. It's like I mean. Yeah. My wife takes care of me on my birthday ever care of her. Yeah. It's the right way to do. My wife did one thing that was really awesome one time. She got me breakfast in bed from a chef came to our house and made breakfast. And then by the time I woke up it was already to go with all my favorite stuff. Oh, that's so cool. It was a great give us that. You can take us. The good thing to do because it's such a surprise. 'cause you're not even leaving your house and you're in bed, and it was like that's like the dream idea of birthday gift from. I don't have to leave my house. Yeah. You gotta get up nizing casually. Like, it was it was so good. And we me and tiff do dinner on the nights of our birthdays. If it's not the weekend. The let's good. Birthday person gets the choose so usually chooses some like expensive restaurant we've been talking about going to God. And I usually make her go to a place that she would always poo poo for a date night. That's a smart way to go. I was okay. There's a place out here called save by the Max Bell restaurant right in there to open a new version of it..

"They come in second to that village to compete when he's out there trained punches with our or peg was taken we're taking with slipping Ortega was throwing them back, and he was landing mascot Vicent. But then became the graph. Win aspect or Hegarty drag down to the mat a couple of times. And you saw max very basic defense straight on pushing the head down hitting hips went working his way back up to his feet scrambling keeping that will momentum going never getting taken down and going. Okay. Here's where the fight is no concessions by Max Bell who bel- focused me compose, new round rinse, and repeat it was something very special. I saw what other people saw. I also saw one of the great hundred forty five pounds of all time. I also saw one of the current pound for pound most guys in the business day. I did see that. I think it's also important to you tell the other side of by because we did have a narrative dating back as recently as nine eight m eastern time last Friday when the ins open and going on until eleven AM eastern time last Friday when the wayans close which. Was to max v a one forty five hundred is living the lifestyle is he disciplined enough has grown too much as he matured too much. Can you stay in that way class? The reason I bring that up is because now they're talking about after this fight the match the way. Plus, I got no problem with that. I love parody. I love guys can move around. I do want to offer you guys though that this is max choice. So because I don't think it is a choice. I will offer you you'll Romero, by example. I do not believe that it should be a choice for your well Romero giddy contract signing vowed agreement in return to one hundred eighty five pounds because he is failed twice in a row. One time stumbling from the scale max says of this way that is a false narrative match, the not miss weight against convenient amalgam of the commission stepped in and stopped him. So we don't like the way you're looking right now. I think that's very fair. I think that we should listen to that. But it is not true to say that he got on the scale any missed weight. There was also talk that he had missed weight against take the first that is factually incorrect. The fight was cancel I believe. It was two days before the way even happen. If it was a little shorter time in that. I am still right in Sesing for you. It was not between nine and eleven AM. When the scale opens, the sale close isn't therefore wasn't in this way. I bring that up. There's factually incorrect. So people that Daniel Korean missed way that the two thousand eight Olympic Games. You will see those headlines you could go Google it now articles will come up and tell you that habit. That's not true. That is just simply not the way it happened. Daniel made the weight after the way in prior to the competition the next morning, he kidney failure, which people believe due to the wake. They may be right. I would argue that what is not factually. Correct. And say that he missed the way what am I going with max, here's what I do think. It's max choice. I would tell you as a fan. Okay. Either way. I do love the charity of image one hundred fifty five pounds. I love the Tony Ferguson called him out. Because when you come back to my initial premise, which was if you're going to put somebody across her max before you ever get into the punching. Wrestle around in the submissions in the foot locks in all these different techniques that you hear about you have to ask yourself can that person hold up in the whole up for twenty five minutes. And if you wanna come to Tony Ferguson, the answer is hell, yes..

"Walkers aren't wok. No, no, no, no, no, it's not every no. Absolutely not this business done all around the world. I cannot leave myself exposed. I cannot allow a player to go free the smart money, smart business, but then you're locked in on some deals, and then you need some flexibility in some places that planning management. This will be determined by what happens from here on in. But I'll say this. It's been a remarkable to work for this club because I've never seen here about, no, but listen. Players in with the players going out in LA connects as before we go, Elliott Elliott. The last thing where the I'm just saying there's teams are nothing happens to have all this makes it very exciting will a lot of teams were, I don't know, let's say, call him out Max Bell, Salt Lake. Let's. About wrestling, went out and got plays, okay, but I, but there's teams and that's fine. It's fine not to be active. LES's been four thinking this. It may work. It may not have forward enough, you know what happens in the Mexican federation. If it's a World Cup here, they will not allow a player to go to the national team in a World Cup here. If he's not under contract with his current team and he's locked in. They had a huge situation Lampe Lido the most obvious when it came to mind. And the only reason he went, he didn't go. I was already. He didn't. It was Valla knees. Yep. So the Mexican federation because the ownership, the club ownership groups have say in the Mexican national team like molest does the US soccer federation, don't let anybody tell you they don't. They should apply the same thing when it comes to the club level players should be going into a contract year. This should be settled. You should know what's going to happen. You cannot leave it in the air and then something happens. Yeah, I'll Kansas City wizards, Hercules Gomez. Oh, wounds, fresh fresh actually. Did me a favor. Okay. Ramiz. This is just a crazy year because the World Cup, I mean, I can't it. It's smart business. Smart business don't don't leave it. Don't leave a player like that because it's not especially an older player. No, the player's gonna want secure future for he for he and his family makes sense. I, that is really hard Laurent. No. I mean, it's a three year deal and you're doing that. I mean, that's. For guaranteed years line. Where do I sign? I know the finish line is in sight when you're thirty. Two is a professional. I've got a year and a half left well, well. That's out of the bag. Him now. L. talk to somebody who knows somebody who knows somebody now. No, I'd like to get out of it. Now. We're talking about l. AFC we're talking about about not. Okay, holiday. It wasn't in LA in the LA. I wasn't at the LA Dr. I know we're gonna. There's so many so disgusted. Some goes the Darby's, some people at the way people people outside of Major League Soccer, and I'm talking about the the Spanish side that working. They're both amused and and in awe that these names are brought up and made by the fans, and they're like, it's awesome because you look at the classical Mahyco, classical HOGAN. Like what's the home in about? It's over fifty years. It still go home and I know that's kinda so like I'm sure the fans named twelve incomplete, and it was the media behind a booth like you and I who said it and it stuck. Yeah, these fans voted on it and looks it whatever you want about social media, but it gives you voice traffic is a stupid share. Do I mind it. There's a, there's a from comedians calling. It was a bridge in Scotland named new bridge that was built in the eleventh century, the new bridge by saying that, I don't know. Give. It's getting nicotine. He always does..
