"That's how about it right so like if you are just a person and you want to buy and sell some socks. Robinhood the up for you. If you're making trades without going through a broker or if you're not part of a hedge fund like you just use in house like broke or just use an app like has like robin hood in robin hood is named after robin hood. Who would steal from the rich to the poor and act opposite the so bunch of people on a sub reddit channel wall street bath. And it's like a popular before all this. They have like two million subscribers now. They have literally eight million 'cause they accurately predicted a short right so they saw that this hedge fund took this position betting against game stop for like billions of dollars billions of dollars. So they said. Let's all get together by up game. Stop stock to go up to go up to sort of expose the hedge fund and not expose them like in the way that we talk about celebrities but like expose their weakness their money. They would right now. So like basically the the hedge fund put so much money into game betting that it will lose so all these people on reddit were like if we all buy the stock will go up and the wall street is literally have made an incorrect analysis and will lose billions of dollars. And that's what started to happen yesterday. The game's top stock went up over four hundred percent the with no kia and amc theaters. Yes and the hedge fund that had waged this short bet was losing billions of dollars more than they even have in their fund. Slow to see it. So another fund citadel wound up covering their introducing. Giving them the money so that they didn't go belly up and that's where citadels involvement cobras interesting. Today make up the citadel owns been told me they had an but i haven't been online this morning. No ben told me that yesterday so game stops up four hundred percents. The hedge funds losing billions of dollars. The little people on reddit who came together to buy the stock are making a lot of money. Like doubling tripling quadrupling their initial investment and then robin hood yesterday that you they stopped any trading of the stock so if you could not buy more games if you own the stock you could only sell it in an effort to sort of balance out like tip the scales back and cover. These big hedge funds our losing billions of dollars. The real moral of the story here is a bunch of people on reddit outsmarted wall street. And you just love to see it and wall street. Beat them at their own game fair and square but they didn't incur the losses that they should've and that's not fair. No that's not fair. The fact that robin hood changed the rules is protecting like there's going to be major class action lawsuits..

"So i went to one of those fabulous places to get an early screening of this movie unforgettable which was like meant to be like a thriller and i was in this theater with all these critics like legit critics who were reviewing the movie for their publications and people were like hysterical laughing and it wasn't a comedy it was like so cringely bad and i think that was her first attempt at a comeback. Because that was like maybe four years ago and now i think this netflix film in this washington. Post article are better. I wonder why she chose the washington. Buzz like she could have gone anywhere. Yeah and like print is not like i always feel like people are on a redemption toward like they should go on long format. Howard stern somewhere they can. They can explain themselves well. I think this this was good. This worked out. I don't know what her reasoning for. It was but it's got Yeah okay ready for our next story. Army hammers estranged wife. Chambers breaks silence which is really an overstatement on the go to instagram instagram common ongoing controversy. But the story is really interesting because it was on a post. That sorry on a post talking about how timothy shallow may and the director of call me by. Your name are working together on a project about capitalism which is just so weird was working on it you know a month ago. I don't know. I'm sure that they were you know it's like when it rains. It pours but i just feel given everything that's happened. Maybe they should stop the work on the project. And i think that's definitely something worth pursuing the stopping of the project. So it's the story fouls woman. Who's on a cross country trip as she searches for the father. She's never met in an attempt to understand why she is the urge to kill and eat the people that love her like. I'm not a movie critic or a film buff by any means. But i just don't think that this is a movie that needs to be made. It's not. It's not a story worth telling and so elizabeth chambers commented on just jarrett's posts about that saying no words and that's her quote breaking her silence on the situation the washington post to do an article interview with elizabeth chambers. I need to know what she knows. Yeah they're so much misery in this armie hammer story. And there's so much weirdness. And i just want to know like elizabeth chambers was married him for years like i need to know what she knows. Yeah i'm sure she knows a lot. She is a mouthful. Yeah if you wanna come on the coastal is with chambers mcclatchy gladly have you. Yeah so. I just think we should rethink that movie. If we're just yeah. "Father always. My father always used to say this. So i got a job as an assistant to the broadcaster. The washington senator baseball games. This is one thousand nine hundred fifty five his name. Was bob hope. He's in the hall of fame. Here is a great broadcaster and I i mean no kid from the ages of sixteen to twenty three could have had a better job. I i was in his assistant. I traveled with the team. After i got out of school every single year i went to i was on their plane. I was on their buses. I was. I was shaggy flies in the outfield. And i a and i learned so much about broadcasting back early on my father said to me Seeing that i was just a gopher in the beginning i was running around getting coffee or or getting a film equipment. Ready or something like that and My father said so. What are you i said. I'm an associate producer and my father said son. I think you're you're looking to get into the right field because you've already got the big shot itis. So i went into television barrier in the media very early on amid the classic story got out of college and i'm looking for a job and i had worked for bob walsham. I thought i could back then in the early nineteen sixties. The only way you got on television if you were on radio so i went to a radio station to think that i could be a reporter or something a sports caster or something and the guy says we. We're not putting you on the air i said. What are you talking about. Says we have to have experienced to get on their and so it was a catch twenty two. I couldn't get on television less. I was in radio. And i couldn't get on radio unless i had experienced suits i started as an assistant publicity writer hung around the news room in this. Five thousand watt radio station and after about six months They saw that. I was so interested in news. I was a reporter at a sportscaster. Nine hundred and sixty three. You went and covered for that station. Martin luther king's i have a dream speech. What do you remember that day. Well i when i tell you that i covered it. I i was on the fringes of it by my assignment was to cover. Not the martin. Luther king speech or march Although.

"All right. Maury povich is never claimed to be the father of daytime television. Merely it's wicked. Brother publishes in the twenty third season. More before which he hosted them. Maury povich show the newsmagazine a current affair anchored local news from coast to coast. He is kind enough to come here and talk to us about all of it. Extra coming on the press box. Maury nice to be with you brian. All right let me start here. What's the weirdest thing about hosting your show during a pandemic well you know the the weirdest thing is is you. Don't have the audience reaction. I mean that that you know in my life. that's kinda crucial that also determines whether you've got a good segment bad segment audiences. Quiet just didn't work but then up the if the woman finds out the guy she's accusing being a father is not. The father runs off stage collapses on our sofa backstage. That's not happening. And and guys if they're not the found to be the bother. They're not doing backflips in front flips. And things like that. So you're trying to. You're trying to get emotion and trying to get drama essentially out of zoom call. Yeah and and although you know. I i missed the audience. There's a great feeling of delving into the story deeper. I have more time to do that. The guests now can react without the audience being there and You know at times the guests turn their attention to the audience and away from the storyline. So there's there's a more of an intimate flavor to it was the role of the audience on maury will. The audience is the court. I mean they're the jury There they sometimes they're very wrong. But i mean What happens is that that you know by their reactions. As the story goes on you can see whether therefore the guy or therefore the woman and And that's in the lie detector test results if we do out of control. Teenagers teenagers get real fast. Feeling about how The audience doesn't like they're kind of what they're doing in their lives at running the streets doing all kinds of things so Yeah the audience is the is the is the jury and instead of twelve we have two hundred pagoda. Your show. that's airing. Today is called three furious. Moms three babies denied who dad. What gets you excited about coming out and doing that episode in season twenty three well. Because because i i've always. I've had a lot of criticism over the years whether it be from tv critics or politicians and they think that i'm exploiting these these people and quite frankly what i'm trying to do is if these guys are proven to be the fathers of these children that they get into their lives because everybody knows a two parent co parenting situation as a heck of a lot better than than a single parent. Speaking of father's your dad was shirley povich legendary sports columnists of the washington post for seven decades. You once wrote that. You have a memory of watching her. Dad's sit in a press box and try to write a deadline story. What do you remember about.

"On twitter. I do not claim to know bob. Costas super well. But bob costas a little bit. There is zero chance that bob costas was going to come onto twitter. That way just like al. Michaels isn't on twitter. Just like british pat. Summerall was not on twitter in his final years on this planet. There's kind of this class of play by play guy high flying broadcaster who is like. And that's the last time. I'll use that adjective today. There's just nothing in in twitter for them at all. He could only be bat right. You just give people a chance to mess with you and you. Don't you know your job was on television. No no chance bob. Costas was gonna mess with with twitter. Yeah i mean certainly. There are exceptions to that. But costas is just is a you know a sort of in a rare rarified air like that he would need to do that. No one just no interest in it. I think yeah just just not wanting to be part of that. Strange world This is from. Chris doll from my wife also pressed box listener but not on twitter because she smarter than me. Do you guys have any thoughts about the media. Controversy surrounding the dramatic license taken in the portrayals of the crown should the show require a fiction. notice Don't we do this all the time. I am more. I am more offended that like night in the entire world. Felt it necessary. Your or decided to to cash in on this on the on the mythbusters economy then published a piece about how the crown has actually not not one hundred percent factual in explaining the differences. I mean listen. We know this is what the internet is for. I'm glad we're out there making money but there seems to be. I mean we've all had this experience right. I mean everything that i watched. That has even a sniff. A whiff sorry of truth or his history to it. You find yourself looking at wikipedia pages though away through right. I mean like shakespeare in love didn't happen. But you were like googling reading about william marlowe halfway through we all we all know about google around for whatever i'm just we were just talking about shakespeare's this is in my mind but even something i mean like like what like anything that's just set in previous period even if it's totally fictionalized. Yes googling around about stuff So you know. i'm i'm reluctant to. I'm i'm reluctant to say we should be like or or even outrage or even you know whatever but you do have a certain sympathy here right. I mean there is a there. You don't know what's true. And what's not and the expectation is some significant portion of it is true right or the third the liberties that are taken. The changes that are made are might even seem so insignificant. You would never question them. Certainly they meant a lot to the shirt to the creators. but you know to average viewer. Does it really matter the did the did the change they made do they. Do they feel like important enough to warrant a an. I don't know. I mean it's it's a very interesting project because so many people are learning about this learning about getting interested in british royalty through this show. I think it's totally legitimate. If you watch a show based on real life to sort of wonder you know what's true what's not where. Where did they take the liberties but it just feels every time. There's anything that is. Based on fact everybody rediscovers. What historical fiction is yes. This is a genre that's been around forever and the idea that every time we're going to have to explain what you know this conversation inside buckingham palace didn't actually happen. And we don't have a transcript of the conversation that happened that day stuff. That happens behind closed. Doors in society doesn't it's only a court case So somebody's to have to imagine what happened. Of course they're gonna compress events and move things around and stuff like that because a television show. I wouldn't expect it to be one hundred percent right and but it's not a wikipedia page. It's like people don't even understand the concept of historical fiction. This is what people do this all the time. I mentioned a million little pieces on a gas pods ago and i'm not. I'm not a fan of the book. But it was a weird thing when that when that fictional fiction versus memoir thing happened where everybody suddenly got all uptight about the degree to which our expectations where the memoirs should be literal right and that would nonfiction. Yeah these billed as nonfiction but the but the you know and without any sort of frame of reference of the the history of genre. You're absolutely right. I mean and do we this. Is we all know that taken some liberties like you said. And and the expectations of what we're told is true. I mean. I'm sure that the netflix the show runners would probably think it would be a detriment to the show to say to this highly fictionalized warning at the beginning of it. But you know nobody's This is the opposite. But i mean no one took great offense to like the coen brothers saying fargo was a true story right. I mean like it's like we're not there. We have our expectations change based on the way that we perceive something you shouldn't we can't make blanket rules of on a media medium or genera- based on how confused we were in the moment right. So you know. I i think he kind of have to take a case. By case in the instance of the crown. I don't know i mean. Tell me what the big offenses. I'm not i. Don't i think that people are actually invested in in this history. This you know in this information and so any deviation from it seems like a greater offence then maybe it would be if this were a you know. Different story right. We'll go read a book like there are plenty of books about this. You can read if you want to have stuff that is not does not take liberties with timelines and places and events One last one for you david. We got to talking about the rock. Dwayne johnson and his political support for joe biden. The other day ed would writes. I do not wanna. I do want to say how disappointed i am. David in particular that when talking about the rock and his many followers that he completely passed on using the millions and millions of the rocks farrah. I'm disappointed in myself in the guests lot today. David guy. I have been fascinated with forever maury povich now. Most people know mori as the daytime talk show host who declares you are the father while somebody passes out on stage next to him and he is that very happily by the way but before he was that he was a big news anchor. He had designs on going to the networks. He hosted rupert murdoch's a current affair which was very much show of. It's time we got into all that. Here's morey.

"Those he. S andy rooney. Twenty twenty as he not for better or worse. Yeah that's a fantastic choice It's yeah kinda kinda kinda sad. We didn't come up with that on our own but Thanks guys were pointing that out all right till listener mail jay into all s. Do you expect the media to be critical of the biden administration while keeping what the trump administration did in context for example appointment ex from biden is questionable but it should be noted that the trump administration in the same situation did why I mean frankly. I'm more were i mean. I think that they will be critical. The biden administration Out of a avait To to to feel like they're even handed out of a sense of obligation to being to even hand in. This are the thing it'd be more worried about is the context i mean. I don't know that that's a. I think that you see on cable news shows all the time on on an even in writing all the time that the hardest thing is is you know being fair With giving credence to bad face actors and everything else but i do think they'll be critical of the by the administration I think that. And and frankly governance for the next four eight twenty years is all gonna come with this sort of asterisk that you know that relates back to the trump administration. I'm not sure it's gonna be really interesting to see what biden does he's gonna do. He says he's going to do a lot of stuff. Executive order is that he's going to be you know kind of circumspect in the way that he chooses to do those things He sort of thinks that he's going to get a lot of a lot done with a republican congress. I mean republican senate if that indeed is what he is left to work with Doesn't seem to be at all scared about giving up congressional seats by pointing democrats to the to government positions. This whole thing is kind of interesting. It's very intriguing. But i don't expect them to do anything particularly questionable which is what i don't know that he'll be able to But will they be will be critical. Yeah i think they should be. And i think they absolutely will be the way. The scoreboard works at the new york. Times and washington. Post and high flying newspapers. Is you are judged. By the number of scoops and critical scoops. You get without context by which i mean if you're political reporter and you're covering biden. Nobody at the paper is going to be like. And it's just not such a big deal because trump did something worse. I just don't think that's how those newspapers work I think they'll be a lot of pressure applied by political twitter to be bullying. You're just doing a butter emails here. Thing right you're just trying to find something on biden to to justify to show that you're covering him critically But inside those institutions those reporters are going to be getting promotions or getting patted on the back of whatever it is because they got scoops about by So yeah i think they're going to be critical. You think i if trump actually tries to do the presidency and exile bit and and it's still tweeting with the significance and volume that he's that he's tweeted that he tweets you know that he tweeted as president. Do you think that would be. Do you think biden will reap some of the benefit that trump actually re for himself by like by like obscuring the issue like by by like making people report on the trump's tweets instead of actually reporting on the things that trump and now the biden administration doing. Yes i'd like you're saying like trump puts out something that's so like comically bad and crazy that it makes whatever biden is actually doing an office. Look saying we're just makes it or whatever biden's doing is like not part of the news cycle because we're just interviewing republican congressman about what trump said dolo biden can basically do the basement strategy in the white house. Well exactly the way the lead has. I think you might have something there. This is from. Erin what is david's job. He'll mention making art sometimes and has mentioned he's moved as spacious amount of time throughout the eastern. Us deep state agent. Perhaps now i'm yeah. I'm an art smuggler. A lot of that's my new places by the pine barrens. I just like side like an incredible treasure trove of rembrandt's just stuck in the trees the i am i am the art director of the wringer dot com. That's not true. The lead of the wringer dot dot com. I do a small team. And i do all the lovely art. That's at the top of the stories on the website. I'll do this podcast twice a week in wrestling podcast and very very occasionally right But yeah you know we'll do logos or podcast to that seems to be an increasingly big part of the job. If you ever want to understand how good the job. David and his team does on the art on this website. Look at any other. Daily website was putting up as many stories a day as the ringer does and look at the quality or lack there of their art and compare it to our art and then come back to us and and that's david's job and that's why he green at no comment. This is john paul roman. Can you comment on the twitter moment when people were falling for the fake. Bob costas twitter account. Did you see this the other day. No i totally missed. "In the new york area. There's so much golf out there but but yeah caddies. Saudis are so so great and become so kind of synonymous for us with a lot of different especially like resorts that we'd gone through. Who are older. When i mean you know she shit. I don't give a shit. I'm eighty one years old and so when you get this i mean i i love to play sixty two sixty three hundred yard courses now. I can't play. I can't place if i play a sixty six hundred yard. Course i mean i'm hitting. I'm heading rescues and woods into four hundred thirty forty yard par fours. I mean you know i i mean i i fly. It may maybe to fifteen to twenty. Maybe it rolls the to thirty to thirty five. I mean that's way. I'm hitting nothing wrong with that. It didn't it straight in play some golf. Yeah i mean yeah. I mean you're gonna love whisper when you go. Oh i'm so excited. I'm getting out there saturday. We're recording this on thursday. So for anybody work. I'm getting out saturday first time. I've heard so much about it. It's almost been like you know people been teasing me with for years now. So i'll mom giant realize you're like founding member you said. Yeah yeah greg trees. It's very interesting. it always happens. Cost us moved out to arizona when he and mccord started their school at grayhawk about twenty five years ago. And so i used to go out there. And a man named greg trees own grayhawk and when i went to great grayhawk now has i mean it is so big the development. They have their own school system. They have their own hospital. I mean it's it's remarkable. When i went out there it was a trailer and greg trieste had this unbelievable vision of building this and not only thirty six holes of golf but this whole community and then he decided to go farther out in scottsdale and build. This course called whisper rock and what he wanted to do was to get five hundred people out there. That really loved the game of golf and more than that love being with each other. And that's the best part of whisper. Rock is the hang. Everybody hangs out at the same place. It's great the average handicap at whisper. Rock i would say is probably less than seven of the five hundred people who belong and it's to the point where i have known amateur golfers. They're in the club championship one year in the club championship. The us open defending champion. Was jeff ogle. Who was a member of whisper rock and he lost one of the amer members. So i mean. I know you guys know about golf. For instance colt knows andrew stoltze. They have their members of whisper. There there you got to go see him to start is one of the great amateur golfers going. I mean he's won the club championship. I think it was sporadic. Several times and and colt of course was a was a great player on the pga tour. I mean we got some crazy guys and by the way all kinds of athletes. Huge amount of mean larry fitzgerald a member. They're all football players out in arizona. Baseball players basketball players. Vinny del negro. The old basketball player and coach. I mean there's a lot going on. There i gotta get into this club more all this. We'll see we'll see what to say they pay you enough. You got to pay you enough barstools and come on. i know. See how a guys Everybody's gonna know this. I mean rigs went to harvard. I mean if he's not making money who is a big a world this is. This is the guy's appreciate where like he's gonna roast you really that. When the when the when the first video came out of utah swing. I think i said it feels like i'm living in an alternate universe. I mean you're maury povich. You're you're a legend alleged. And now you've entered our world rigs the swing it's really stumping rubbish. I mean you know you thought you were drawn doing inside straight with that back. Swing hanky likes that need big times to eighty years old. You're sitting in front of your logo. Right how long. How long have you can. I ask him see that all the time they own my show and I have a. This is the first year of the two year contract. I don't know how long i don't know. I don't know all i know is they told mean that i broke the record. I am the longest running daytime. "Maury povich as you were always falling off a cliff there. We are next going to come up. I thank you saved your you. Save your little line there because you didn't know what to say it's been a long day. Yeah i think. I think people got to understand and they will one day when we release Some content pieces that. We've been working a little cheese little tease but we did. Today was one of the biggest as we ever had in the history of our four point. You're listening i am. I am functioning at a caloric deficit right now. I haven't seen it's been. We didn't have a second to do anything today. We did so much shit again. This is a tease it. That's what it is and you could year. I now we're just talking. it's it. We had the biggest bordelais history when it comes to video content and that's not even a close second out. No it's not a close second A little while before people are able to see that so you know we got to be a little quiet about it but the point is we had a long day. We great productive day. Now we've been doing. We're doing multiple podcasts today. So it's been a long day. I don't know what i'm saying. Frankie picked called me out for an. I still know what i'm saying. So we're just going to say our going through this fucking interview with our friend maury povich. Who's in who's the man and we will hope to god that you have a great thanksgiving have a great holiday. We'll be back on tuesday next week. Enjoy the all right folks. We're joined by a we're joined by guest who really entered our world. Like a wrecking ball. Over the last months over the last few weeks you know him for for decades now. He's been dominating on television maury povich show a great golfer and we'll get into show get into a lot of stuff but i would just start off with every time i log onto twitter. See my swing on new barstool show now now first of all. Obviously i admire you. Decide follow you. I follow you all across the country. I've followed you for the entire ninety nine days at pinehurst so i consider consider you my My instagram friend. And the only thing i said was as i watched your was because i've been at this a long time when it comes to golf and i can tell you how it started in terms of when i first got my first lesson but you take the club a little inside on the way back and i i suffer from the same problem and so i know what can happen if you take it too far inside you can either hang on and flip of if you flip it. You'll go left him and if you hang on your go right so i appreciate this right so this was everyone's kind of like getting roasted. You're a loser more booking at mcnally's actually now you're giving me this this positive feedback on my switch. We're all looking for an right. After you started kind of talking to people hitting me up like. I taught him for war here. He's a sick. These award wounds a two handicap really. You know a lot about the gospel. Well well i'll tell you how it happened very interesting at an kind of dovetails into the fact that you're in scottsdale okay. So many years ago. Thirty one years ago when i was a middle aged guy my wife for my fiftieth birthday. I had never had a lesson before i had been a. You know a high school athlete. I you know is all hand eye coordination. I play golf. I want a few club tournaments. I was probably. I dunno seven eight handicap. Something like that. And so for my fiftieth birthday. My wife bought she connie chung. She researched everything. Got the greatest golf teacher that she could find his name. Was peter costas. And he's and she sent peter costas to our home in new jersey for my fiftieth birthday present and she said he's the golf god when it comes to golf and the problem. Is that for the last thirty one years. I m chased. Peter kostis all over the globe is not only my teacher but probably one of my three or four best friends in the world and so now connie calls him the gulf devil of course because god would rather be with kosta than anybody family or anybody and so what happened was costas and his great buddy gary mccord. Who i've played a lot of golf with when i got to be around fifty five or so and then senior. Golf became very important. They said you can really compete. And so they really worked hard for me and the year two thousand. I made the us senior amador. And i made match play in the. Us senior editor on a plate and three british senior amador's and so and that's when i was like sixty so i what can i tell you i mean i. I've been a golf attic forever. It's the only at addiction that my wife allows me and so now cost. It is at my club. I club in scottsdale whisper rock. So i hear you're going out there and say kostis and mccord and tell him and and tell them that you're not going to take the club inside anymore jordan. I'm fascinated by this right because every every golfer is trying to get better. It's like we're we talked about this all time. It's the only sport that you're a fan of football. You don't play football again here. Fan of golf. We play golf. All the time was instructional and stuff. So you're you're telling me i'm yanking it back too far inside right away on the way back by the way you have a good swing terrific swing. There's nothing wrong with your swing and really thinks believe you don't like it will also raise trying to be very polite by like asking morey like what he sees like you know you come from. I mean you're the most inside sling of all time. Ghana guy this guy every everybody. We me tops. It i e shot. He's over what goes off. I mean i don't. I don't consider myself to have a good gosling. The the fact of the matter is that you have the most famous inside swing easy. Yeah look but once he gets the top. He's pretty good. Don't you think. I mean to be at some point for him to be like five handicap. He has to make some sort of good contact at some point. Along this link now we need to get down to the nitty gritty of like the details. How does he get from such a poor position to perfect. I guess at some point he has perfect. I wanna tell you something which you have to do is think that you're taking it outside but you're really taking it back square. That's what i do. I mean. I think i'm jim furic. And if you saw me on video straight back. I mean that these. That's what cost is tells me. It is interesting that that process. Because i only took one golf left in my entire life probably should take him more now. That you see my game but I was swinging john daly. I could see the club head in the back of my. And i was whatever fifteen sixteen years old guys like just swing fifty percent and i promise you when you look at the footage. Be perfectly right here in two day. That's the only swing. Thought i have is just swing fifty percent and i still come all the way back and crazy i try. It is funny that when you think you're doing something you're saying go all the way outside you feel like feerick. It's really bad actually perfect. It just feels uncomfortable thoughts well first of all costas costas uses video but he only uses video the way you just described where you think. You're doing something but you're not doing something. I'll show you the video you've taken outside. I'll show you the video. You're not really taking it outside. It's not jim. Furic is not matt wolf. It's just straight back. You think it's outside but it's not yeah and talking about all the time right like field versus real and you see like you know. Even tigers do as much now but tiger back. They used to take those widely cut swings jackson's before and he's clearly not swinging.

"Got the handicaps on. I usually got the match. I i don't keep what anybody is to bar. I usually just keep the match. Almost exclusively just keep the match and if there's presses and then at the end in terms of adding them up i don't add up number my number i do actually just add up by over so i usually can remember which whole like what the pars of someone's got like a six four. I just not to. And then i just go to what they are over and add that to thirty six or whatever it is and then that's dots their number so that's usually Okay there's almost always a rise in break ins during the holidays might not know that. Just go to simplisafe dot com slash foreplay Okay mark says. I work at a club up here in canada. Usually get around it after my shift. The course wasn't too busy. So i was just the course Wasn't that busy. So i his jumping around from hold whole of the cart to not interrupt the offers that were out there. I ended up playing the entire around. But i played the holes out of order. Got my first ever a hole in one on the eleventh hole but it was the seventh hole that had played that. I get my first ever whole yes. Yeah there's no hotter scenario on the show then whether or not people were giving people ones or not in this one usually were pretty tight with it. will that has loosened since to be on the show got hold ones at the cradle. But i would think this one. Yes it's i think it's an absolutely yes. You played eighteen holes. The you may have played them out of order but who cares. So i can't even think of the other side of this argument like i don't even know what like gin the counterpoint. Like someone's gonna come out and say like you played out of order. It's like well. You can play back nines out like at. What point is this. This is getting ridiculous. I mean that's just one played teen holes. That's account ones giving him grief over this person's wrong right. Just write that person's just no longer play in like a shotgun start and start on. Hold six. Jim yeah counts. It just got up and tournament on ten. Yeah weather delay on that same tournament where you start fan then restart on like six so congratulate. What's his name mark. They it you were looking around your back trying of the counter okay. I think i was trying to come up with the car. I was trying to think of I was trying to present something that would be similar my mind that like i thought maybe you guys would actually be against counting it to basically play devil's advocate and get a rise out of you but i could offer nick. I was kinda thinking of I was like what if somebody just goes out and plays like they're like oh after work. I'm gonna play like warren whole real quick. I got whatever they live of course and they just go see off on a par three and mae like get a hole in one and then they're like shit. I guess i'll play some more whole and so that kind of counts is gonna be like. Does that count. Of course would count. So i don't. I don't i don't really think there's a good counter. I think it's just a no brainer. One one no brainer Got this is a good one. I've actually had this one on the list for a long time. Brian says how long after a tournament do you think the players get paid and how mail the check direct deposit etc And this was after. I believe it was like right around the time. That more cholewa one This guy sent this one any more college. Just keep checking his bank account for like a day or two waiting to see like one point nine million dollars in his bank ago. The only way. I would. I want i know having been around with his When he on sunday when he finished his tournament that he literally gets a text message from the pga tour like texting accounts. That wants all. The groups had finished and the pads official. He gets text message with like what places finished and how much money that he made. Which is pretty fucking cool and we relied. I think it was the I know it was tv. She scottsdale last year. The phoenix open. Maybe it's two years ago. Maybe it might have been a couple of years. But but i think it was last year and anyways the kids finish up and it was a male or do that at super bowl sunday. So it's like you want to get like some beers and watch the super. Yeah absolutely and while we were like sat down and starbucks in the super bowl gets tax if he was just like fifty seven thousand this week. Wait what and he's like. Yeah get this thing and he just showed me that you just get a tax. I don't know when it actually gets the positive. But i imagine it's probably next morning. We have all the money. Ford direct deposit. Think right you check these are say. Check this thing. Back in the heyday. Trent were actually they would. They'd right go to your dining hammered toler in the teller with looking bids stamp it and beyond your way a liar. Your gear lying. you know. there's you know the world existed before the internet and and your little phones tablets. I wonder how long it took them. If they had a male out. These fucking jackson not getting the bet sunday now. I think they were pretty fish. I think you'd argue. It's not a direct deposit. Yeah i think it was somewhat efficient. You don't know do now. you're making shut up. It couldn't have been like it couldn't have been to the point where people like didn't get their money in a reasonable time. No but i mean could have just maybe waiting around. After they gave out check business days couple business days throw it right in the mail gets there. I mean it's not instantaneous. You aren't getting fucking text message. Sure couple business days. I'll five business days at the most you got. That sounds like you miss checks. I don't. I'm just gonna actually miss. And i haven't done it in a minute. I used to do a long time to a little at than fucking bank up the tubes. Come back raleigh pumps on that thing. Would they drop a couple of they drop a couple of lollipops in there. What day with that thing went away. It's got to hurt the lollipop. Business lollipop this the walk. I don't know that i've been handle sugar. Well as a kid. You're off the walls they probably gave you your meyer. Your pa papa. Did they slipped in their pocket for themselves later. My dad's dad said the help me.

"It's very intriguing to see what happens. Charles barkley those blow my my were underhand things where you have a lot. More control at cornhole. Fancy myself to be a very good bags. Blair i'm going to call bags for the people in the industry. So you know it's i. I've always found it very odd for people have bad days in kornel. It's something that you can really control really easily. It's same throw. It's the same distance at the same knee movement. I know you can say about golf. Course changes your life. Changes the slope changes the whole thing in cornell it literally never changes you hit the same spot no matter what's going on unless you're going for a whole around something whatever but your actual release dozen chain and same with like bowling to me. I get always blew my mind. That people can have bad days in bowling. It seems very controllable right. Like it's just you take the same as you release the ball in that fucking lane is the same thing over and over and over again. I know the pin set up changes. If you don't strike fought like it's a fucking same thing over and over and i love bowling are you. Are you good buller now. But i love bowling not good unlike your whole premise of life. If you're good. I've never like i don't know never had a bad game boy. That was real defeat. That was just a you working out of your head. What do you think the differences. I think i was thinking of just like good players like once. You develop that skill of doing it like you're saying like if you just nowhere to release in cornell it's like a mental block mail to pull it. Push it for me and boy if you just develop that correct release. It's just a million times doing the same thing you're hitting the same line. I'm trying think of things that are just so rebounded but like in the heading right like if you just have like a five foot. That's just like right center and you just can't. It's literally a stroke. That's like that long. But people get the yips and just like can't do it. It's such a it's muscle memory. It's the same thing. I guess i don't know i'm just trying to think of things that are just like constant to me right like i don't know it's iowa brought a bowling the bowling to meetings. I should be able to master it astral hundred every time out. But let me say this to my mom's a big bore like the lanes are different. The lanes change their like different How slick day are on that changes. Dramatically the wax on that thing with bags to write a. Maybe it's a mess. I'm located the toss up mess. We've seen that steph curry's games been on display before i think he's played a few different Corn territory events Nearly made the cut in at least one of them. And he shot like seventy four seventy two or something like that is pretty damn good scores. So steph curry play He's just a player so i think he'll be pretty good. Peyton manning tahoe van. I think he was out there. I think you just missed the cut steph curry but his games in public for a long time. Now yeah yeah. He did in the corporate authorities again. He just missed the car thing. I was like years ago and then Peyton manning is you know. He played in the last one and he played damn well. He played significantly better than tom brady. And he's phenomenal on these thinks he's he's funny. He's all over fucking every commercial. You've ever seen reason and so So tuna it's it's at three pm on. Tnt it'll be fun. It's the day after thanksgiving so you know a lot of people have nothing else going and get yourself a little golf. I'm excited tune in. I will be watching and and hopefully it goes well okay from the gallery. Four play sports dot com. That is how you submit. We're gonna rip through some of these. We've had a bunch of these backed up for a little while now Tucker says so far goff's here unfortunately it means the courts covered leaves So he hit it his drive and just missed the fairway and can't find your ball girl leaves. What do you do. You played at all. Take a penalty drop or just take a free job where most were at most likely ended. Look i think we all just play the leaf rule. I think everybody agrees with their buddies. You play the lead role which everybody knows that it just clearly went into a place. It clear out yourself a little You know little grassy knoll and you drop a ball you take no penalty and you just play it from where everybody agrees that it went to And it really kind of reminded me of the price shambo on the third at the masters tournament which is preposterous. There's not a rule for him to have been able to just drop his ball ranking made and extremely good point. Which was that when we were talking about that Which was that like if prices ball was just a little bit embedded Then he would have been totally fine because they would have seen it. He gets a rule where you get to just replace. Are you going to drop an embedded ball. Because it was like embedded or they couldn't see right away. He got basically a two or three stroke penalty the d. which is ridiculous so it's really the same kind of principle which like and everybody knows that a balls spot in my opinion us take the drop. And you just for yeah. I played a public track out here. I mean on on long island. Who is the place to go. All the time. And the fucking. It's a really good track. The during this time of year like the difference between this and glen oaks blake glen oaks. Also there's not a leaf on the glenn literally gusts nets onset crazy shit ever seen but then he go to win. Watch where it's not the win wash but just more public and they're just not doing the same things over there. All the leaves are pushed to the right and left. And i mean it's up to your shins and leaves and when the ball goes over there you're like come on like i'm going to match buddies pride on the line And you're like what the you're just like. I know my bowl and in here just mixed awkward just like all right. I guess just drop. It's not no problem like no one. Wanna fuck get fights over fucking. I'm talking a foot deep of lease out here at this. Scalpers pleaded insanity. It was beautiful on anarchy matter where you went. There was leaves crazy. Yeah you're telling people like no you. Don't get a drop because leader asshole. You're just ask them. I think points. If you're with your buddies just talk about it and liking. Sharon should absolutely get a free drop. But if you're in the middle of the fairway and you're in a divot.

If you're not then I'm going to have to figure out a way to still sell your story switching. Yeah and every single person was like we already figured you'd be honest about it so I wasn't worried about anyone to be honest about it and good and there was one subject in there that you decided that you needed to pull back on so I didn't talk about my mother being abused in detail because my father used to hit her because she still healing and so as I was writing. I was noticing that it was bringing up a lot of emotion that she hadn't healed from yet so I was like you know what I'm not trying to trigger my mother. I love my mother's roll back and help her with the you know the tool so that she could support herself and then when my suicide attempt I figured I don't need to go into detail about that because if someone else's reading it I don't them to say Oh this is how I can do it. Yeah I wanted to instead. Stop at a certain point. And then say if you're having these feelings or if you know some of these feelings here our resources you can use. Yeah because a lot of times people don't do that. Yeah and I'm like if you pick up this book here's a way you can get the hell yeah. Was there something that happened while you were writing where you thought you were over something and you had worked through something but then writing this book you almost had to reactivate it and re re confronted you talk about a lot of things in the book about your name and being gay all these things? Sometimes we don't take on you know we don't take it on fully. Yes we kind of brush over it. Yes they we're fine but we're not anything in this book where you were writing so yes but not really because I do the work myself. I mean like career wise. That's I think I'm so good on. Queer is because having a background in psychotherapy social work. I can do the digging and digging on myself. The one thing I would say that kind of triggered me a little bit was when I got to the color. Ism Chapter in 'cause I talked about how my skin tone my grandmother used to say to me. Don't talk it up a family anymore. Which you know. She comes from a certain time. Where you to be lighter meant that you could have attained more success and so when I was writing that it brought up these feelings again because through Social Media. I get these comments because I'm engaged to a white man. Yeah that somehow me being engaged to a white man has somehow diminished my experience as a black man in this world and it bothers me like people say. Oh You Dana White Guy so you all of a sudden have lost part of your blackness and I'm like when I walk out the world people don't see me with a White Man. They see a black man and when the police stopped me they don't say oh you're dating a white guy we'll let you we'll let you go. You're good yeah. Don't have Kiki somewhere and a drink. No they say you still black band. And that's what gets on my nerves and so when I was writing that I realized that there are still issues with my color that it's a different former Colorado but there's parts of it that still bother me because it didn't erase yeah raise yes completely you know. It's funny because when I first came out. I think people had a problem being gate but now that I've come out and in the past dated a white guy when I go home with a guy they now look at me because I'm an interracial relationship you're from Houston Texas. That probably still happens to you. Oh my gosh are you kidding me everywhere? I go like the minute we pop up. This was really gets me people. Somehow he put me on like back up back you up. My man is successful but my had no hand in giving me the career the success the money in my bank account and it bothers me when we go out and people assume my career is somehow because of something. He's that yeah I'm like have lost. Meanwhile he's like a doctor somewhere else talked about this. You know what I'm saying. DoN'T COME FROM MR. Calhoun exactly well. Let's remind people where you started? Yes because rule. Philadelphia was everything. Yeah you were the first black openly gay man on television. What was that experience reality? Reality mother ru father who was the first. Let's let's be very real but in reality television and when that title came out I didn't even know that also people's right in there and I was like what are you talking. About Ruben around forever and then I was like oh reality television got it and what was it like It's it's it's sad and it's also exciting because I was on the real world in two thousand and four two thousand five. Why in the hell has there never been an openly? Gay Black Man cast before me. Yeah that's a problem for sure because we have been around. Let me take some I go to Atlanta. I go to Chicago New York. Texas Tennessee and black gay men are around thriving doing the most amazing setting culture setting trends yet. I was the first so it kind of disappointed me because I was like there should have been twenty before me before me but then on the same rate I was like well. I'm glad that I could kick open the door so that now there could be more people and then I'm going to continue. Kick Open that door and also gonNA continue that every other brother. That is Gay I'm going to say come up with me. Let's let's do together. I let me applaud. You let me celebrate you. Let's let's do this. We don't do that very often was many. Don't but many do you do I do. And I think it's important that we encourage those who on their journey to loving themselves and to love others to know that we support them in that they'll get there. Yeah no in. Two Thousand and four people weren't living that loud. We were still kind of in the closet. You Know Oprah said. We was in the closet. Let me tell you I was out in the club. Run IN THE STREET. Oh do it in. Oversized Shala John Jeans and Timberlands and then each outfit sounds happy. I need you ought to put together like a collage when you go on TV and you live your life like that and then the reality stops and you're back in your real reality. Yes what was the? What was I guess? What was the backlash because you know with my family? It's like you can be gay. You can be you. We support you but the minute you put it out there. It's a little bit harder. Yes that and that's exactly it. I had family members who immediately were turned off from speaking to me my father and I we already had a rocky relationship because he couldn't reconcile our relationship with his religion and so because he he believed his God was teaching him that somehow I was not perfectly designed and not made in his eyes. He figured I can't talk to you but then on top of that me putting it on television embarrassed him and so he didn't WanNa talk to me. We got into physical altercations. It was bad and there was other family members. Come from Jamaica in house so it's like the Black Culture Jamaican Culture Cuban culture which unfortunately there are members subscribed to this sort of ideal of what it is to be a man. Yeah and then me being proud and well-spoken on national television somehow didn't define me as a man because of the fact that I had intimate relationships with other men and your only son and I'm the only son and so you know it was. It was hard but then on the flip side which I tried to do was focus on all the people who love me like I will just showered with so much love beginning letters and letters and letters from people saying Oh my Gosh I love you. You're amazing mice messages. Dmz ENDS. It was good. It was good but I'm not GONNA lie it. I took a dark path quickly because I felt like I lost myself because trying to battle the family and the good of here trying to be something more at Age. Twenty three was a lot. Yeah and so it got it got rough real quick she black Jamaican and Cuban. Sx is good. You better you show up with a PPO per somebody. Did it. Better be an ambulance late nights. I just can't even imagine it would add. Top passed already clear the room you were living your best life. Look my favorite line. In this whole book I found. It is when you said molly you in danger girl. Okay when your I'm not having an explainer people I'm GonNa let you explain it to them because it was one of the most profound things that I've read. What was that moment like for you when I found my drug of choice. Yes Oh my gosh. Tell me you history. Yes so I mean my father being rastafarian Jamaican Us We'd he recreationally and so it was always in my house shot. Okay I loved it. I loved trying. We'd because it made me feel social when I got it first time from him so it was a weird experience of like not having to go to a corner to get we'd just being able to say. Let Me Walk. My Dad's room and get weed and but then I realized I didn't like the feeling of it. I didn't like being lethargic. I didn't like it was down. It was a downer. I didn't like it so then I started trying to know you weren't going in your dad's closet to get some weed. He had a basketball side. Oh yeah he well he did okay he did he did. He had won by his bed but he also had like a basketball in the freezer. This yeah like big of weed in the freezer and so I'll just opened up the bag and I'd be like with my friends be like oh how much we need today and I would just take it out the bag and so it was easy for me to access it but I didn't like the Downer feeling of it and then I stopped that because I never had addictive personality towards that but though I had an addictive personality So then I started molly and ecstasy and that was cute for like the first couple of times I was like yes. I like someone rub up on me and I was like yes. We are living. Ooh And then as I would have to take three pills to have that same feeling. I was a you're sweaty. You're growth cute and then I got introduced to cocaine and that's what I said you in danger girl. And how old were you when you got introduced twenty five? And who was the bitch because at this point? Let's remind people if you read this book. He is now on the. You're in the press tour. You're in the Club appearances. Best Life as Kerama. Oh for real world yes and you start out on this dirty your sixty three you in between one hundred ninety three and two hundred and ten pounds and you get introduced to cocaine yes. What's at first feeling like

"The the dragon joy Reid was to light dragging joyride. I mean. But I am not buying them as a couple. They don't feel Mace. How does that resolve itself deniro's and John snow? I think the wind up at odds with each other. Yeah. Okay. I think they were already sons was given serious side. I took Elise. Those Turks don't love Kalisa, those those who are you know? And that's why one of them could go early. I know beads answer this why did sir c sleep with urine. Oh, this is right out of a Maury Povich episode. Already Jamie's babies, right? So this is her cover story. Yeah. So now, this can't be anything. It's his baby because he's a more on an ego maniac. And so now, she's got other. I thought it was hilarious perfectly thirsty. She liked was the drop deadline the line of episodes, then ends up having to do the deed anyway because that's her plant. He's brilliant an maniacal fishy. Cutter likes him to though she'd likes it. He's sheer. She said, I I like that you're airgun. Yeah. The one thing about it, though is I look at your on as like her escape plan like if all goes wrong and the and the night king gets to king's landing. She just has to hop onto one of his boats and go across the narrow sea the iron islands in the Nike and can't get there. Joyce figure out in get all those ships. The other thing is I do believe thirsty. This is where she she just overplayed her hand thinks she under the severity of what's coming. I think she thinks it's all like these dead. Things are coming. No one's going to die. I don't Don't think. think he's dead things are here hasn't looked in the eyes king yet. Right. And she, you know, she's not sending her army and Tyrian believed it I thought the line was son. So when she said, I used to think you were the smartest guy new. She's not coming with an army. What's wrong with you? So trusting here's what I think I took from the last episode is that sauna stark is gonna play a much bigger role in the ending than we would have expected because she's she's feeling herself a little bit. She can't you know, why should he get paid enough? She's engaged for Jonas, brother. Not big. No all came out. What they make. She makes one seventy five and everybody else makes five hundred an episode. Yeah. She makes less than John's notice. Yeah. So that ain't right. Argument starting one seventy five. Right. Yeah. Do you know what you know that sixty minutes piece revealed is that means e Williams the girl that plays aria started on the show when she was twelve. Wow. It's only job she's ever had. And she wanted to be dancer. We watch all of them and to go even brand to go back to those beginning up. So it's when he was pushed up you forget how little kids Amelia Clark at that point had had one one or two little soap opera issue job waiting years old because I they had a piece on her on CBS Sunday that we are nerds. And basically, it was like, I guess I'll go try out for this that she listened to a bunch of like hardcore rap to get herself pumped up and like feeling like a, you know cleaned on kit, and then went in and got the gig. And it's ten years later. Nice is the story of a lifetime. So, yeah, it's it's kind of awesome. I just wonder where all these guys go after like, Richard Madden. Obviously I had to get him in there. Ireland. Doing. Okay. So they should all be fine. Yeah. Richard manage working a lot now. Yeah. He's working at Tom. Yeah. Yeah. I the one thing that I that that has come out theory on the internet is that somehow the night king is a tar Garin Lauridsen brand brand is the night while brand is an king or he's like radar tar Garin come to life because me know that little you know, that little kid that they stuck to the wall..

And now, they're they all these tapes. And I don't want to see it. I don't that's a man they said they got him on tape doing some with somebody as massage for please don't release that the public doesn't need to see that. Florida breeze. Mooched?
