"He got He like he got in front of the guy. That's zero down the ground. That's because the guy went flying out of it. I basically did. Here's a lot of savvy stuff that he does like to get open small movements of its momma. If the hands are like down towards the ways you can get away with that stuff. You one of the hands are up here in your full extension. That's when you get on. Yeah you got to be subtle. You gotta be subtle ans- craftiness and that's how he's gonna win like he he's gonna. He's never going to be sick. Route runner like straight up like that guy when contested gadgets and zayn when you win in those things it's because you're doing little things you know the hand fighting down the field k and it makes you tough draws as a as a wide receiver. Great great show those. I'm super excited about brian edwards just from seeing some of those examples where he's continually winning the catch mind because he is he now the subtle. I love the lean. rowing linden. did little leaning. Because he got a one off. I kind of feel like he kinda one office knowing when he got into standard he already won he already had the inside but he he made sure he kind of to right. Both bouts us like at do yards racist. Yeah okay all right now. They need to use him degrasse to think they're gonna get him. They gotta get him more dig heavy. I think that that's where he wins. I don't do you know. Doing those leans kind of winning. And you'll get into those dig routes yet a lotta dagger you know. Yucky roundtree is going to be a lot of vertical stuff. I think because when you get in that stem into receivers right arms are the corners right on him. That's when he can use a day if he needs to lean a break anthony to do thorough by just pushed the guy back by break out or if it's no vertical and just kind of went on there that it's gonna be a lot of it's based on vertical stem. I think that's going to be his rodri- yeah So yeah but brennan definitely he needs to step up in raising start winning outside the numbers in the passing game ensure waller. Yes not just hundred zero. You know got gotta get Someone like brian words to be consistent in this offense. Yeah anything else on office before yet i mean the point. I mean the discount Rugs and then they got win. More outside on the gotta they. Did you gotta find a way to create more separation. i think come couples plays Knows guys are still right on his hip Fast these guys not as kids like that especially like on End this plano call. Nca allman as the they do the touchdown agdal last year on this play and you know car missed him Had to be tight windows. We had to be super precise within as why ended missing trying to lead them to be precise because such a tight window tight coverage a. I think i think you know he has to find a way to win more. Because he's just too fast at that guy that i feel like he's he's got to get to that point where he's separating innocence. The easy drove car on that over route so But that's the kind of the last thing i'd say 'cause even when he got knocked down like hurt his his hamstring. I mean he didn't win there either. I mean i think he's starting to get over the top of the guy because he's so fast but I mean he didn't win. You want him to win and speed pass. Somebody slyke as you need from him. But i gotta gave them more free releases i think at this point like fa find a way to get him. More free releases may become back to that cell route where he ended up getting open. I feel like they gotta come back to that. Like maybe have car seat. That have car opened up. His is to lawler. Even though you know you come back to rugs. If his gets a single high look again have that safety over waller and then just flip hips back and just toss it. That's what i should do it but brazilan talk about this because a lot of people keep on saying dicara carbon that look breed safeties in the middle of the field. That safety continues in the middle of the field post nap. Their car is not looking at the post route. Like that's now not no longer part of the progression. It's just random like ninety nine point nine percent of the time that safety just runs with the post. It's right there so it's just really random and like by chance all of a sudden now. This safety is just letting her rugs go by him. You know but you don't throw the post against cover one right so like that's why they didn't see it and also it also. I'll say you know pre snap on that play. You know car has waller three by one. Nobody's over him right and they're blitzing and he says he's thinking out and the guy over number two which is rugs taken a post on the sale right round the sale or whatever or if he was was run a post which i find interesting on that play. They ran that play. Two more times in hanoi hunter renfrew A rug never ran that play again. So the i that was interesting but But us if so when he goes in the post like to the number two guy was. I tried his online. But out of the era so The number two he's supposed to carry with rugs like since he sees waller coming he switches off just like hundred dollars like tyrod taylor matthew Wright he switches off in this time cars throw. It doesn't throw it. He sees it and he does it back down to angle.

"Yes, even at five and nine They're still in the playoff hunt in the NFC East. The Ravens have been very tough at home in the month of December, winning eight in a row, and I believe her 12 and two overall since 2018 so they have been in that standing team in the latter part of the season under John Har Blob. The Chiefs trying to cement the top seed in the A. F. C at 13 and one they are hosting the four in 10 Falcons today, while the seven and seven bears meeting the one and 13 Jaguars in Jacksonville, Me 3 10 and one Bangles coming off the wind last week in Houston today to take on the four and 10 Texans. Let's start things off with the best game of the day. The Steelers and cults in Pittsburgh. And here's Jeff Hawthorne. Yeah, get the matchup of two quarterbacks that have combined to throw for 123,000 yards and 812 touchdowns in their careers and Really back in 2004. Bill Cowher wanted Philip Rivers to be the Steelers quarterback. But it was Dan Rooney that wanted Ben Roethlisberger Rivers three and four in his career against the Steelers. If you're looking for a guy to watch for an X factor in this game could be the colt Isaiah Rogers. Averages. 28.8 on kickoff returns the Steelers air without their usual kicker Chris Boswell out with a groin injury. Matthew Wright does not have a strong leg. So if there are Kickoffs with feelings, which has been a question mark, you could see Roger's play. A factor in this game is the Steelers just got the opening kickoff. No score between the Steelers and Colt underway here in Pittsburgh, Jeff It's a shame you can't do what we did as a kid, you know, the instead of the kickoff, you have the throw off have been robbed the smoke over that. Exactly So okay, So there still is. Kicking game has some question marks entering today, and of course, it's never easy at Heinz Field. It's a tough place to kick even for the best of kickers. So one reason why over the years that Mike Tomlin is a skew the point after and gone for the two point conversion, so we'll see how that plays out is two good teams going at it today at Heinz Field, Let's head to met Life Stadium Mike Mancuso standing by the Browns, and she gets underway. I'll tell you what act. You must be doing a lot of reminiscing. Now you're talking about the row offs like we used to do growing up. What? We talked about your ability to play receiver. Remember? You know Seward Sewell was the first down when you put it on the street in Queens. Right anyway, we just had the opening kickoff and Cleveland now we'll set up their offense without all their wide receivers. 1st and 10 on their 35 yard line. Cleveland played well in this building last week as they beat the Giants and now looking to do the same for the Jets, who are looking to go for their second straight win. Baker Mayfield, on the first play of the game throws a short completion for a few yards. So Cleveland on offense, they have the ball the 40 yard line. We are scoreless here. MetLife Stadium. All right, Thank you very much. Michael. If I yell car, then we're really in trouble today. Adam's plane standing by in Houston, the Texans looking for win number five against the Bangles that I, Adam Enriched. The Texan start out with the football to Shawn Watson threw incomplete on the first play of the game, You said. You know, Texas looking for their fifth win. The Bangles are looking for their fourth win in the team that might be watching this game close more closer than anyone else. The Miami Dolphins because they owned the Texas first round pick, and it's possible that the Texans could jump the Bangles when it comes to first round pick order. So the Texans and Bangles are underway to Texans have a third and long on their first possession of the game. All right, thank you very much. Adam Spillane in Houston, So we've covered three games, three games. Also right now, the Chiefs and the Falcons, the Falcons moving the ball already. And the Chiefs territory just crossing midfield. So Matt Ryan and company trying to get something done here. Late in the season and re Morris started very well. But the Falcons have not been able to sustain that success. And I wonder how that's going to impact the coaching search whether or not you know if Marie Morris still seems favorable in the eyes of Arthur Blank, and whoever becomes the general manager, there is that's also a position they'll be needing to fill. But right now the Falcons across midfield on their opening drive Against the Kansas City Chiefs, Ravens and Giants are underway in Baltimore. And, of course, the Giants held Russell Wilson and check a couple of weeks ago and did a phenomenal job. It was not the same situation against Skylar Murray a week later at home, but Lamar Jackson has been terrific since returning from covert 19. And he is in control right now. The Ravens facing a second and seven at their own 38 yard line, so just a little more than two minutes in in Baltimore, the Ravens with the ball in their own end, going for win number 10 as they try to keep pace with the Browns and the Steelers in the A F. C North. So a completion just a second ago. And Miles Boykin on the receiving end, and he takes it for not only a first down but cross midfield so into Giants territory on their opening drive Thief Falcons first drive We told you about that handled left them in Kansas City territory that has come to an end as the chief's takeover at their own 13 yard lines. So, ah, tough way for a promising opening drive to end and right now the chief's take over for the first time. Jaguars and Bears are underway. Let's said the Brian Scheibel in Jacksonville. Yeah. The Jaguars just picked up the first down Mike Glennon out to Tyler Eifert for nine yards to move the chains. Dario gotten the lolly. Have been a couple of Russians so far. And this one. The Wisconsin product didn't start today because James Robinson eyes out with an ankle injury, so the star would be that the Jags have had over 1000 70 yards. On the season so far, eyes on the inactive list for today, so Jags loses a 13 strength taking on the Bears in this one, there's 12 in a row four. Chicago certainly want Robinson his first. Return to play against the Jaguars. He has over 1000 yards receiving in this one, but right now, early on, still no score Jags facing a 3rd 12 on their own 34 early first quarter. All right, thank you very much. Brian..

"How much? I appreciate your prayers to my Grammy, Helen. She's doing well. She just needs some rest. She needs peace. And she definitely knows that people are praying for her. And I'm looking forward to speaking with her again tomorrow, But thank you. Thank you so much for showing up and letting me know overwhelmingly. So how much you care about Grammy? Helen and how much you're praying for? I really appreciate that and I will make sure to pass along good news. As soon as I have it, because there will be only good news. So on Twitter again, a low radio also on our Facebook page are Monday. M V P. Voting is still going on. Pretty soon we will present the candidates for TD of the week, though I suppose with one more game to go. Maybe Dallas or Baltimore will give us a candidate for TD of the week. Huh? Not sure. I wanna wait though. Anyway, our phone number 855 to 1 to 4 to 27. That's a 55 to 1 to four. CBS If you would like to tack on Seymour. Good, bad and ugly, but I knew our Facebook page was blowing up. On Monday afternoon. I was seeing your post still kind of pour in I am so pleased for Ron Rivera. So please for Washington. So please for Alex Smith. Who I have been stumping for as NFL Comeback Player of the year. Going back to training camp and you know J. J Watt stole my line. JJ Watt stole my opinion. I don't believe in hot takes But he is now decided that it's his opinion as well. I just want to read this to you from JJ's Twitter. Yes, of course. He was watching Washington and Pittsburgh and Throughout the game, as he usually does when he watches Pittsburgh he's growing about his brother. He is probably TJ's biggest fan, and I would say T J is the same every time T J. What does anything on the field? JJ goes ballistic on Twitter. It's kind of fun. The sibling rivalry is off the table when it comes to these two guys cheering for one another and their separate ventures. But here is what he tweeted after Washington's win. What Alex Smith has done is unbelievable Comeback player of the year even before taking a snap. Wait a minute. I said that That's what I said. He says playing winning football after everything he's been through is even more incredible. Did O. J. J did. Oh, man, they didn't need the signature win. But what they needed was a win a win just so that they could stay even with the Giants in the NFC East. You guys tried to tell me this division? Was going to shrivel up and die. And I told you, Nope. Somebody's gonna win it and the season's not over. We could, in fact, end up with Winning record atop the division. But let's not get crazy, okay? Ron Rivera. Alex Smith. Washington didn't need this win. But man, it sure looks good when you've got it and what a confidence boost For a team that He's in the midst of trying to rebuild its winning culture reset the atmosphere. Both In the facilities as well as on the field. Ron Rivera, trying to craft a program in a franchise That he believes is sustainable. And so much more on his plate than he ever anticipated. Not to mention covert protocols and close facilities. Everything that's happened this season every team is dealing with, but in Washington's case for him to come in under these circumstances And be tasked with Resetting an entire NFL franchise. This game. He's a massive confidence boost. And then you have the implications in the NFC East race, and then you have the implications for the DFCS, top seed and by we will get to that. I told you it wasn't over. It's after hours with Amy Lawrence on CBS Sports Radio. The Steelers were up 14 3 at the half in Pittsburgh on their own field. The turning point for Washington. To me was the very first drive of the second half. The very first drive of the third quarter. In which Alex Smith engineers a 14 play 82 yard march. That consumes nearly seven minutes, so it takes half of the third quarter. It ends with the Peyton Barber TD run. At that point, Washington was still trailing. But it was about controlling the ball. Asserting your offensive style. Running what it is that you wanted to run. And how about Given the Pittsburgh defense A little bit of something something to make him tired through the rest of the game. I mean, that's a long time to be on the field, even for defense is good is Pittsburgh. We got to see play The Washington defense. But man to me that was kind of a jab. It wasn't a knockout blow, but it was the set up for the knockout blow. Seven minutes 82 yard 14 play Dr That pulled Washington within four You look at what Washington did on defense, allowing on Lee a single field goal in the second half, by the way, congratulations to Matthew Wright, who makes his NFL debut successfully. On Monday afternoon out of UCF. Filling in for the injured Chris Boswell. You can only imagine the nerves that he had He has a field goal to start the fourth quarter. That's it. Those were the on Lee second half stealer point. Also in the second half, and this is courtesy of the Washington defense. A couple of punts. Failed fourth down. So this was 1/4 and one call by Mike Tomlin instead of going for the field goal to break the tie. If I remember correctly, it would have been something like a 45 47 yard field goal, something in that range. Could be off by a couple of yards. I don't quote me. But Tomlin Decides to go for it on fourth and one as opposed to taking the field goal that would have snapped the tie. And then Pittsburgh also has the only turnover of the game. So as much as the attention has been on the Steelers defense for good reason. And then in the NFC East specifically how much if I talked about the Giants defense, we just saw the Giants defense on display against Seattle on Sunday, But this Washington defense is a top 10 unit..

"Yesterday, a group of several 100 people espousing those views marched down Hollywood Boulevard, chanting and carrying signs now in the past the group of seen as a fringe group of online obsessives, But more recently, followers have been charged with crimes, including murder, domestic terrorism and planned kidnapping. Still, the group seems to be gaining ground, even gaining a viable candidate for Congress and Marjorie Taylor Greene, who won the Republican primary for George's 14th district, she's heavily favored to win in November. We wanted to find out what is driving this and with the presence of a follower in Congress could mean so we called Travis View. Once again. He is the co host of the Q and a on anonymous podcast, and he's been reporting on this group Travis View. Thank you so much for joining us once again, Michelle. Thank you so much for inviting me. So could we start with Marjorie Taylor Greene, who won the Congressional primary in Georgia? How is she connected to cue Anna? What kinds of statements has she made? That indicates the connection. Does she acknowledge it? So Marjorie Taylor Greene throughout 2017 and 2018. She was an open and proud Cubano follower, and she even promoted some of most arrange conspiracy theories from that group. For example, she claimed that the plane crash that killed JFK Jr in 1999 was the responsibility ofthe Hillary Clinton when the National Transportation Safety Board actually ruled that was the result of a pilot there. She had also claim That the criminal gang M s. 13 was responsible for the murder of the DNC staffer, Seth Rich on Now. All these beliefs are deranged, and she got them directly from Q. And like you said she is favored Tio enter Congress starting next year. Does she still acknowledge the connection now that she's become more visible? Well, she offered some statements on the Fox nation trying to distance herself from Q and on, but I wouldn't say that she is fully denounced it. What she said was that after following to a non, she chose a different path. By running for Congress. So this week, a reporter asked President Trump about the group. And he said, I don't know much about the movement. Other than I understand They like me very much, and he added that they are people that love our country. So I have a couple questions here, Which is what will this President trump play in the queue and on narrative and how big of a deal is it for the president, to say those words? In the cute on narrative. President Trump is Theseus aviator off humanity. Literally. They believe if Donald Trump didn't come riding along and was elected president, then it would essentially means the end of the United States and the end of the world. They worship him essentially now, the fact that Trump acknowledged the Cuban community is hugely consequential Tio community because they have been waiting this for years. They've been going reporters to what they say. Ask the Q because in their imagination, they believe That if Trump was asked about Q along that he would say it was really and then it would say the storm is upon us, and this would lead to the huge mass arrest event that they imagine it's going to happen now. It didn't play out like that. But nonetheless, the fact that he praised them, and he said that he would be willing to help and that he did nothing to announce the theory or denounce the followers. Hugely energized. Um I mean, they are. They are on Cloud nine as a consequence of Trump's statements. And how does this contrast to how they're viewed by law enforcement? You know, particularly the FBI. Yes, there was a non intelligence Bolton from the Phoenix Field office of the FBI that warned about the threat of conspiracy theory driven extremism in the name Q. And all. Specifically as a possible source of this extremism mean this has been realised. In a few ways. There's one case of Ah cumin follower named Matthew Wright, who pled guilty to a terrorism charge. For holding a armed standoff on the Hoover Dam. There's another case of cold, rather woman named Cynthia Abzug, who with charged with conspiracy to commit kidnapping after a planning an armed raid with fellow Cuban on followers. There's actually recent reporting from the daily Beast that shows that her case is actually the part of a network ofthe cumulus followers who encouraged members too. Commit kidnappings and even harbor fugitives from the law. It does seem curious that you know, authorities in some jurisdictions have taken a very aggressive stance towards, say black lives matters. Protesters in some cases like jurisdictions are moving to tryto. Penalize or criminalize certain tactics like sit ins, for example, or sitting in our occupying public spaces, but they don't seem to have taken such an aggressive stance towards people. Falsely accusing people of very scurrilous acts and Is it because it's so invisible because so much of the activity is online and isn't visible sort of publicly that perhaps they just didn't see it coming. Yeah, This is the issue. I mean, only seemed invisible because these people they're organizing and they're getting radicalized online. I mean, the total size of the Cuban on community isn't known. But there was a recent analysis by the Guardian that showed that there were three million accounts that followed various Cuban on Facebook groups and pages so is quite substantial, and we're only now start seeing the consequence of this year's long radicalization process. Is there something that social media companies should be thinking about? And is there any evidence that they are thinking about their role and allowing this to flourish? I mean the number one thing. I think that these companies could do with the stop recommending Cuban on pages or groups or accounts in their in their algorithms, because even the broadest definition of free speech doesn't include sort of free advertising a free marketing for your speech. Another thing that Facebook could do was like no longer allow, you know, paid advertising for Kiwa groups, which Last I checked is something that's still permitted. So I think that social media companies could do a lot more because they have been instrumental allowing this community to grow to the point that it has. That was Travis View, Co host of the Q Anon Anonymous podcast Travis View. Thanks so much for joining us once again, my pleasure. You're listening to NPR news..

"I'm hopeful for a number of reasons. One. There's a lot of opportunity for us to work on this problem. As a country at the government level at the private sector level academia, the nonprofit space there's just an enormous opportunity to really take on this challenge. And then on the more sort of basic side of things. I suppose I have a lot of hope, because the number one question I still get from people on social media and at events and things like that is They want to know how to talk to their friends and family and neighbors about false content. They want to help people understand their what they're seeing and what they're putting out there, and they want to do it in a way that actually does help. And so the fact that people still want to have those conversations and still want Teo help. Our mothers with good information gives me a lot of reason for hope. And then I also get emails and messages all the time from people who say I started doing this this thing that you talked about in your book and I found, you know, I haven't been looking at a good source all the way to my you know, my my parents who are in an older generation They've implemented some of the tips and tools that I talked about in my book, and they're learning things and so from young adults were consuming this information all the way up to my parent's generation. They're seeing results by adopting better practices. And so that gives me reason for hope is well. That's Cindy. Onus. Her new book, True or False. A CIA analyst guide to Spotting fake news is out now. Cindy Otis. Thank you so much for talking with us. Thank you. Staying on the topic of misinformation. There's news about Cuba not that's a movement based on a bizarre conspiracy theory that claims that all manner of public figures and institutions are secretly involved with child trafficking and child murder. Yesterday, a group of several 100 people espousing those views marched down Hollywood Boulevard, chanting and carrying signs. Now. "This is madness. This is insane. Oh, and don't tell me about schools anymore, either. We can keep teachers safe. Wash yur hands where a mast be behind the plexiglass. Let's go. You need to Proctor video way. That's fine. You know, you'll do that You'll be there on video while somebody proctor the class. It can be done much safer than keeping kids at home. Destroying parentsability to support their families. Teachers are an essential function. Get to work. Doctors do it. Nurses doing hospital staff's doing janitorial staff. Do it get to work. Our union's gonna create tombstones to show how Corona virus is going to get us killed. You should all be fired. That's what you're doing, Utilizing kids that way you should be fired. We're going to send their obituaries to the governor. Garbage nonsense. Got to work. We could do this safely. I'm not saying you shouldn't worry about your safety. I'm saying of course we could do it safely. But you say, Oh, we can't go back to school and you want to be paid the same. Got a lot of questions there to answer. A lot of questions and answers, But I I come to all of this. From a A perspective that Always goes back to OK. What is it that I've done wrong? What am I not explaining? Or what? As a parent, am I doing or what? As a person, am I doing or what? This or what? Let me now say Teo, possibly my own detriment in terms of relationships. That it is time for parents. To stop accepting the idea that one of things that you should do is send your kids to college. I am hearing story after story about people who send their kids to college and the kids come back hating them. Angry about this anger about that you'd understand about history. You were taught all wrong. You don't understand your white privilege. Kids who start fights with parents because this is what they're taught to do on college campuses. You send your kids University of Michigan? Your kid comes back. A remarkable vicious leftist. Well, what did you expect? The question is, why did you pay for it? I understand that there are many in America who want to blur. The line is not eliminated the line between adulthood and childhood and they want Children are full agency over themselves. And I argue, as I've argued many, many times. The only reason to have for a child have full agency over their body is a sexual conversation if they can have full agency over when they have An abortion or what? Ah gender that they are. Therefore they could take medications. Nothing could decide who to be in relationships with the sickness goes all the way down the line, and the job of a parent is to protect Children very often from themselves. Part of doing that is asking yourself where you sending them? To get an education or to get indoctrination. Parents need to look their kids in the eye and say I'm not paying for that. Not doing it. I love you too much. Parents need to love their kids too much. I'm gonna have more on this subject in the weeks ahead. Catch me 11 fucking Tony Cats today. Matt Bear has traffic. What's up?
