"When you ever you're talking about policy or or anything else. If you're explaining you're losing One of the reasons that the political right never learns. The left is so good at naming things and the political right always has to explain why they want to kill Grandma. Well, if you're explaining why you you don't want to kill Grandma, you're you're losing Right as I have the left always says it remember was with Paul Ryan. Paul Ryan wants push Grandma off the cliff. Now, Paul Ryan has to explain why he doesn't want to push Grandma of the cliff. It would have been better if Paul Ryan had said to the first person said You want to push Grandma off the cliff? Hey, why don't you go to hell? It would have been better off of P 90 X Paul Ryan. Paul 90 X had walked up to one of these Democrats while they were on TV and punched him right in the nose that would have ended Grandma getting pushed off a cliff. What can I say? I know how to fight. My gosh. He really thinks he can explain to us the history of Afghanistan and why this is better. You left Americans to die. There's nothing to explain. "And electric studios. This is news radio. Wait, 40. Wh Yes. Welcome back to get straight round, door said again. We're talking about some recent developments with the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources where The semesters. Broke the open meetings Act. And they did so revolving around missed the storms. New Contract, which is a Another issue that would have discussed tonight. Yes, really, guys. We might as well just roll that without here because it was the primary reason that Uh, you folks asked the attorney general about his opinion. Baptist, and when I say you folks, actually Larry Richards Uh, Conserves force man. Reached out to the attorney general said. Look, you know how to me. Uh, negotiate this. Without the sports minutes knowledge and what was revealed. After that. Oh, Attorney general's opinion came out where yes, we did have a right to know what happened there. There were. Several things revealed that I think the sportsman need to know about Yes. Uh, there's a number of things here number one. This was a four year contract. Previous capacitors have only had two year contracts. Now that's not outside the law the law provides for them to do that. However, in the past That has not happened. Number one. Number two Um, but this is one that I find really egregious on the sports was part They provided in that contract. Four to miss the storms. Federal taxes to be paid Yeah. Sportsmen and outdoor women. I'm gonna ask you a question here, since when should we be expected to pay someone's taxes? I mean it and and then. Furthermore, The way they structure that contract going forward. There's huge Incremental, uh, monetary. A additions if you will, where Formation story at the end of this term is going to be making more money or as much money very traditional we've ever had. Under a four year contract. Keep going back to that. But support to realize that these things should be done on to your basis is in the past because it's upon performance. Uh, Gas. Your thoughts. Yeah, I'll jump in here, Jim, because oh, like that. I've been following a lot of this stuff and and back in the winter during the legislative session. There was a new bill introduced, of course, the commission and filed suit with the Cabinet and, uh, tourism and finance over the contract dispute with Mr Stone Warm last August. And Jane, January 4th of this year House Bill 3 94 was Inter based, Um, that basically was a new wall. There. Was arguing the same thing. The commission's lawsuit was stating. So basically they've got a lawsuit going on. Um And then they introduced legislation through legislators to do this. And the thing that was kind of troublesome to me about this and You know, I've been called certain people stand, boys and what night but, uh, To me. It was just the the principle of this whole whole issue. Um, one of the co sponsors of House Bill 3 94 is Matthew Coke. He's actually an individual minister Storm campaign for last fall while he was out of the job as commissioner. Um and February, this bill went before a committee for the first reading. And the other sponsor of the bill, Mr Massey, you know, he stated that this was not about any one individual. Um I kind of saw the writing on the wall. My own opinion with that. But on March 2nd there was an emergency amendment added to house Bill 3 94 that basically as soon as that was signed in the law, it would be retroactive and enforceable. On the third of March. I sent all the commissioners and email and that email said Gentleman as a farmer, and I have been hunter fisherman, conservationists and stakeholder draft fight for what is right. Have utilized many resources of the Kentucky Department official wildlife Resources and as such, I am an advocate for the department and resources afforded by said department Given the past history, and unfortunately the controversies of the department. I have great concerns about House Bill 30 94. When I saw the emergency declaration amendments to 3 94 yesterday, my concerns elevated. I hope that my concerns with the amendment are unwarranted, but I cannot help but thank this could easily be an in ground on the current lawsuit. Representative Massey stated last Thursday that this bill wasn't about anyone individual, and I hope he was truthful. If House Bill 3 94 passes and becomes law, I hope that the intent is not to place the former commissioner back into his previous role as the head of the pardon. My hope would be that the position was posted. A search is done to find the next rock star to lead the department move forward, Not backwards myself. And many will remember. This is all employed. An attempt to put one of your own back in that was corrupted from the start. Respectfully, Brian Mackey. Um, I didn't receive any response is back on there. And as we know, as soon as House Bill 3 94 was signed into law, the new contract negotiations pretty much started immediately. And here's Here's the important part of that. The commission did all this. They had four meetings where they violated the open meetings Act. But during these contract Negotiations if you will. Without the Sportsman's Ability to see What was going on. And It's not Bide or Brian back here, Jimmy Capitals. Uh, supposition that should be done.
