"One mas- ville why would why would the bengals pass up on a chance to get almost like a hall of fame famer. Why would let you might say just to get a tackle that you can get in second third and fourth round now. I don't think you want to go out. Think you'll be able to get no penny soule in the second and third round and they need to protect joe burrow the young quarterback they got an cevers receiver position. Not a problem for them. I mean they just drafted t higgins. He was rookie last year. Showed out for him. So i think they're okay at the receive respond. You can get a receiver later in rows will when you get once in a lifetime. Opportunity to draft a potential anti munoz. Who played for the cincinnati. Bengals you get that. There's no doubt about it. Keep in mind. They call so swung and missed on john. Ross tamar chased did have the best single season any llc receiver has ever had. Let's try to sneak in one. More last roll of allan line. Three robert from charlottesville virginia. And i'm here in l. checks gonna move up in the draft and get fields and i think that's the perfect match because he played behind cam. We've got a couple of years left. You wouldn't have rush bills onto the field but cam screws up. Maybe playing but i i bel- checks on the warpath if in fact that is the way it's going to be dennis a smart move if he can get up to get justin fields however fall to get up getting whatever and he can learn behind cams there for year two years. Yeah you do that all day. Long run to the hills and cam. Newton would be a great mentor for justice in terms of the movement skills. "Line one. Somebody police say something john in. Virginia i just want to ask you guys. Think about fitzpatrick in washington. And i've heard rumors that they may move up to try to get a quarterback in the draft. How possible that fitzpatrick in washington is fine for now just because they need a veteran presents with young quarterbacks and if they can move up to get a quarterback they certainly should for the future because ryan fitzpatrick is not the future at quarterback for the washington football team. Yeah ryan fitzpatrick just something to do. When there's nothing to do like the quarterback that they wanted this offseason matt stafford. They missed on that when they said it. All ryan fitzpatrick hewlett least. Allow your football team to be competent. You can go out there and compete. But he's not sure long-term guy. Yeah he'll keep you in games. That's for sure he's done. That is in town. Also keep the other team in games. That's true that's true. He does love thrown into to both teams. There's no question about it. Let's keep spending and they keep bringing you wonder why land six From coachella california. I we wanted to ask if you think. If the las vegas raiders would offer aaron rodgers some type show because you know that you retired he would consider paying for the las vegas raiders. I don't know that is aaron rodgers. The answer i mean like i think it's their defense defense is awful. The devices appro the and they had a lot of injuries on that side of the ball but they were still really bad. That's gotta get cleaned up. The offense is not going to be a problem. The offense is okay. The defense spin it. We.

"Good stuff. J. subic the podcast. So finally an athlete is telling me he wasn't taken out of context. Thank you carlos. Little first guy that's actually ever said. Hear me out. So dunlap is now back with the seattle seahawks. It's interesting about that communist. Kion jay will. Zubin is back chris. Canteen for jj will be back before the draft great to have a couple of super bowl winners here. Let's talk about super bowl. Franchise like the a team that dangling to get to a super bowl with this iteration. That would be the rams so call us. Dunlap comes back to seattle. He said you probably heard it right there. Hey russ you're going to be here. i'm coming back. We're going to reunite. He's like i ain't going anywhere. The off season storylines the seahawks. You might be inclined to think. He's not long for seattle so they got a lot of pressure. Making it happen. Expectations always high on the other side. Matthew stafford owner of an owen. Three lifetime career playoff record and has been said. Just get me on a big time team. That's what all of his defenders say. Get this guy with this talent on a roster that doesn't have the detroit lions standing around him and he will take off all right. who's got more pressure. The rams who jettison jared goff mortgaged everything to get matt stafford or the shaky seahawks situation. Who's got more precious. Think it's it's we're talking about the afc west. I mean the nfc west which good you gotta think. It's the rams you have to in in the reason is. Is you got a quarterback who a lot of people around the league. He's a nice guy people like him. He's a he's been they're stuck in detroit only won three been in three playoff games and they've lost all three in his career. He's put up big numbers every year. He's a five thousand close to five thousand yard passer in tough and he's dead. I don't question his art all of the things that they want you to believe. Matthew stafford is so the rams they get him because clearly he has some ability now he has all the talent he has a super bowl peering head coach. Who was this darling of a head coach a couple of years ago if you just stood next to him you got hired in so. They traded away their first round. Pick overall plus a bunch of other stuff. Get rid of jared goff that they gave all this money to to get matthew stafford. You would a defense. That was one of the top two or three defenses in the national football league a year ago now with that being say around he morris comes over from atlanta to take over the defense they lose their defense coordinator who's now. La chargers they lose a couple of other coaches on that staff on the defense side of the ball. There's a lot of pressure because you've given up a lot to get this quarterback if people are correct about what matthew stafford really is then the rams out to be winning the superbowl next year because everyone said the reason. The rams didn't win the super bowl get to the super bowl. Was number sixteen. Go he was the problem. Jared goff he was the problem. They didn't say the offense align this older. They didn't say that running back is game that the received they said the quarterback so that was the one guy you went out and got interesting key. I get where you're coming from in terms of the expectations. They're being more pressure on matt africa. Let's let's face it when you look at the overall team. The rams are better overall team in the seattle seahawks. But the one thing that i will say about russell wilson coming into this season what he did earlier in this off with doan his offensive line under the bus and bringing into question some of the decisions that the organization has made whether or not they surrounded him with the right supporting cast to take full of him being an elite quarterback. I think that's gonna put russell wilson under a microscope. People are going to be paying attention to how he performs. Because you can't come out and criticize your team for not doing certain things and not valuing your input if you're not going out there and producing at a high level so russell wilson there'll be a lot of eyeballs on him because he's a team that won the division last year. People are still going to be expected to seattle seahawks to be right there in that conversation and twenty twenty one. I don't think is pressure on him at all. Because he's not going anywhere. He didn't leave another team. Tacoma seattle seattle is his team. He's taken him the two super bowls so he has the right to criticize the organization and say whatever the hell he wants to say because he's right to a degree they've got to address the offense align he's got to get rid of the football okay holds onto way too long. There's some issues on both sides. But he's not going anywhere. They went out and gave away everything to get. Matthew stafford when jared goff is taking them to the playoffs taking him to the super bowl you know done some great things for the rams but it wasn't good enough so now the pressure's on sean mcveigh along with matthew stafford in less meat. Because think about this this rams window think about the window that wendell ain't getting ready to just keep staying open. Forty niners are going to get better. Seattle's going to get better. New orleans is going to get better. Arizona is getting better in. You got the top defensive player in all of the national football league in air donald at some point in time and donald donald. So you've got to cash in on that right now today because they're going to get frustrated too because essentially he is a quarterback on the side of the ball..

"Trading for Matt Stafford or laughably unrealistic things like trading Virgin Shawn Watson. Um, you know, if this is what we do here, I get that that's entertaining, and it's on for people. And you know, there are whole radio stations that are devoted to you know the nonsense just because the nonsensical his take is possible in air quotes, debating that But let's not we do here and so, yeah, we'll talk about it. They're out there looking to trade Lance. Maybe he impresses them. Maybe they make up, move on, get up there and get them. That's just not the plan right now. I was joking about Dylan ratings, although I'm excited that they would look at it. Yeah, you should look at Dylan ratings. He's a guy that very much impressed with Senior Bowl on one of the top offensive lineman that we talked about. It was a guy that you were excited to see because he was another small school kid went out there and saw him along with Queen Quinn. Miners. We hadn't quit miners on the show. By the way, you can check out the interview Broncos country tonight dot com. But Dylan ratings would be a cool guy to get on to because you know again, he's a six FT. 6 300 plus pound offensive tackle. And the Broncos might be in the market for a day to offense a tackle, especially if they're looking to move on from John James after this year, So you know that I'm gonna calm down after this, but it's just the fact is for the Broncos. Okay, they may have worked their way into having the best offensive line. In the NFC West. It wasn't by accident. Yeah, the Raiders blew up their offensive line. Yeah, the cheese block their offensive line, But the fact is, they have a good offensive line anyways. You know, it's only by happenstance because of all those things that we're even having this conversation, But they had a good offensive line this year. This would be the highest level of optimism we've had about the offensive line in years. And that was another thing that I got in fights with people on Twitter today because people are like, Oh, well, here we are a mediocre team celebrating something like the offensive line being good. I'm like, Why God, people you just never want to be happy. You just don't you just don't want to be happy, so it's fine. That's and that's the thing they don't. They just They just want to be miserable and they want to be right about being miserable. You know, it's it's just I just don't understand that. I've always approached to me. Sports are supposed to be fun. So I try to look at it through that lens and through that filter and and find ways to do that, But at the same time, like, you know, what we're here to do is provide you with an accurate picture of what's going on. We don't we don't have to scrape the bottom of the barrel for content here. No way You don't have to do that. We're better than that. We're gonna talk to him. Jenkins about Kyle Trask coming up in the next segment, But I think under the circumstances we should also bring up Trey Lance. Now he is not a very big tray. Lance guy. He's made that very clear. He has Trey Lance. Like sixth right now on his board, So you know that's not necessarily where trade Lance is gonna go. But he's got him pretty low. So I think that the circumstances of the Broncos going out toe North Dakota state. We should talk to him about that. Couple of things that I want to bring up from his appearance on Broncos beat with Alexis Perry earlier this week. Invite you to go check that out on the Broncos YouTube channel. Also to Kaz Miter is going to join us a little later on. He did a seven around Mark. I don't want to get too with him. That is very good, actually. Pretty pretty strong. You have some reporting. On Kayla Farley, that I am so anxious to get to We're gonna probably get to that in the next year. This is short show for us By the way Tonight we have C u basketball Pac 12 term in taking on cow tonight. We're pre game coverage it not o'clock tonight, So it's a little bit short show that kind of the next hour. It's got some. He's got some stuff. On Kayla Farley. And we're gonna hear that cut from Air Crocker last night because it kind of tips tips this thing in the direction Of where maybe the rest of the league feels about this top rated corner by the media way more so than NFL league circles. I don't want to give it all away right now. The man, you put that out on Twitter today. And it was spicy. I gotta be honest like that. It shook up a lot of people's perception off the top corners in this league and how they've been tiered so far. Yeah, I think that you know, there's It's interesting to me because it's kind of duck tales about what we were talking about. We open the show. It's just people just glom onto information. Just accept it as fact, and some of that stuff is not really isn't and you get, you know, media so copycat. You know, Once one piece of information is put out there, everybody assumes it and they go with that piece of information they build off of that. And this. This is what happens. This is how guys get air quotes moved up and down boards and all that kind of stuff. It's not how it's not how this works. You know, like, um You know teams. But I believe these players for years, scouts have know about these guys for years. There's no Michelle Sleepers. You know, sleepers isn't a real thing of all. Second of all, you know, they know where these guys are, You know, they know most of the things about him. Moving up on that board isn't what teams are doing. No media's perception of where that player is based on what they hear from teams or in some cases, some people just make up out of nowhere. But it's it's that's a thing. And so everybody's been build this Caleb Farley thing up. You know, he's a good athlete. Yes, but he's gonna struggle in some schemes like there's there's, um I think there's a specific fits for him than you know if we talked about this, you know, kind of off the year before and everything I've told you. You know, I like to retain a lot better. Thanks, Lieutenant Horn. I'm gonna be the first two corners taken. Really do you know, I don't have a problem with that. I'm just saying, um, And and so I can't wait to talk to Steve Atwater about this because he's like Kayla Farley. This isn't a got your kind of thing. This is a okay. Well, if we give you more information, how does that frame your opinion on this player? I think that you know, I had had a pretty productive day with octopus and people. It is. It is good to get some these conversations because I have been missing that component since I didn't get to go to combine the year and On Doc to some people around the league took a couple of current coaches, but your mind works the XFL. Just I talked to a bunch of people and I'll tell you that there there are half a dozen Prominent NFL coaches..

"I think we're going to see come out. Is how much more of. How many more moves do the broncos. Try to make an order to upgrade quarterback and then that would be even more than indictment something that drew could legitimately be be upset about is if they go out and you know. Try to trade for sam darnold and for some reason. That doesn't work out. They tried to trade up in the first round to get a quarterback if they keep doing all these things then it might get to that point that you're talking about but right now just trying to to be on the matthew stafford really drew shouldn't have Enough behind him to get upset about that. Do you see the broncos with that news like you talked about with with the detroit situation. Do you see the broncos leaning towards that quarterback position and. I'll probably ask you every week. We have gone. Because i think with the news. It's going to change on one hand. I'd love to see that cornerback filled. I'd love to see 'certain. But i don't think i'm gonna be mad at a quarterback for denver even if it's a bus down the road because you just gotta keep trying until you find that guy. Yeah and i would not be surprised at that. I don't know how you can be Because like i said this was the first time we've got any indication of what george peyton. Thanks drew lock. And if he went back and watched the film these past couple of weeks and said holy cow men. Pat shurmur was running the wrong steam for him and was giving you know reasons why through didn't have success in and was saying it wasn't through salt. Well then the broncos aren't going to do willing to give up a first round pick to get matthew stafford but the fact that we saw george peyton go out and was willing to give up equivalent of a first round pick. That says that those initial reviews are not very good. So how could i then come back and say that okay. Now since they didn't get matthew stafford he's going to be okay with rolling withdrew and not look at any other options. Because like i said matthew stafford a good quarterback but not nothing better than you know maybe just slightly above average and with the ninth overall. Pick brady if you love a guy you definitely think. He has a higher ceiling than you know. Just slightly above average quarterback. We're talking to zach stevens of dvr broncos zach. What what do you think this is telling us about. First round picks now and again. This deal gets done future picks. But we're hearing you know. I don't know how realistic aaron rodgers leaving. Green bay doesn't sound like it now. But you're hearing. When we talk about quarterbacks o three first round picks for the shawn watson if not if not more than that. What's it gonna take for math staff. What's it gonna take for. Aaron rodgers are our teams. Now and again i know. The quarterback is always king. But i mean we're getting to the point where we're devaluing the draft so much that we're willing to not even participate in a first round for three to four years depending on what the asking price is. Yeah i mean sean. Mcvay is totally okay. We'll take a night one of the draft off mean he. He's not gonna have a first round. Pick until i believe what twenty twenty five twenty twenty four right now that is just absolutely wild and of course. His last first round pick was jared goff back in two thousand sixteen. And what's very interesting about. This is yes brady. You're absolutely right. Some teams are going. This route of saying we would way rather have a known commodity Especially quarterback than than the unknown..

"Boy there is a lot to get to today. We have quarterback a lot of quarterback news. Matt stafford has a new team. And it's not the broncos dylan. Mccaffrey has a new team. And it's here in greeley and as the voice the bears. So that's gonna be pretty exciting. We'll talk about that later on Get to my game of the week. Nolan aeronautical is gone. I mean the joker had a thousand points yesterday almost at least close to it. There's a lot to hit. We're talking quarterbacks. I though joining me now zak stevens from. Dnv are broncos zach. My friend matt stafford. How close were the broncos in landing this deal boy. Brady good to talk you. What a weekend of court it was. And i would say the broncos deal kind of land in the middle knowing her an auto trade absolutely terrible horrifying can't believe that deal happen. The not making the deal for matt stafford seems to fall in the middle. Because of course the big news especially up where you are dealing. Mccaffrey going to unc. That that is to cool. That's obviously the best. And like i said matt stafford deal not getting done kind of falls in the middle. But it's a great question. How close were the broncos. And i think there's two ways to answer this. The broncos were one of the final teams in on matt stafford. They did show a lot of interest in him. And everything i've heard and also being other reports seems like the broncos were willing to give away and equivalent of a first round. Pick now from what. I've been told i do not believe that number nine was available but i don't even think number nine would have got the deal done so in terms of how close they were. They were one of the final teams down the stretch in those talks. But i think they were pretty far away from actually getting a deal done just because of what the lions were able to get from the rams. The broncos offer was probably about a ninth. Pick away from being done. I think the broncos would have had to trade to first round pick in order to get this thing done future first and the ninth overall this year and the broncos. We're willing to do one of those in terms of First round value..
Matthew Stafford Blockbuster: Will the Rams Massive Gamble Pay Off?
"Bill barn. While i am sorry. I off retold you on friday explicitly. You'd have this rare sunday off from your job making a smarter about football. But just when you think you're out espn daily always pulls you back in pablo. I was ready to record at one in the morning to talk about the madden pro bowl. So this is slightly more newsworthy. So happy at least we have more something something more compelling perhaps talk about here with matthew stafford trade bill barnwell is a senior writer for espn and the host of the bill barnwell show podcast compelling but also kind of the closest thing football gets to a video game transaction. Two starting quarterbacks getting swamped. We have matt stafford. Go into the rams jared goff plus two future first rounders and third rounder. This year headed lions. So when you got the adam. Schefter claxton on your phone saturday night. Your first reaction was what. What my first reaction i would say that the rams really hate traffics and want to get rid of them quickly and efficiently as possible and then my second thought was that the rams really were done with jared goff and wanted to move on from him and weren't going let anybody beat them to the punch with an offer. We knew that a deal was coming this week because there were reports on saturday that the lions were expecting to get a deal done by tuesday which is essentially when it comes to the nfl their way of saying. Hey get your best offers end because we're gonna make this deal sooner rather than later We knew the rams are questioning their commitment to. We talked about it over the past couple weeks on. espn daily. Even though his four year one hundred thirty four million dollar extension has not started yet. And then on top of all that brad homes the new general manager with the lions just like the rams after i believe eight years as their director of college scouting under less need. It was the other. Gm who made this trade so put all that together and the rams made the most sense as a possible destination for stafford but the fact that the deal was announced late on a saturday night probably tells you that the rams were not especially proud of how all this went down. Just given up on the quarterback they have been propping up and defending public years while giving up two extra first rounders justice upgrade under center
Detroit Lions coach says Matt Stafford trade talks are 'hot and heavy'
"Is the NFL off season braces for a game of quarterback musical chairs like we've never seen before. New Lions coach as reportedly said talks involving a trade of Matthew Stafford are and I quote here hot and heavy. NFL media's Ian Rappaport tweeted expect to trade before the Super Bowl. Washington, Of course, in the mix for the teams interested in Stafford's services,

"Where's the noble and he only ran for two so he got last week and he looked back. What a ball batat new and people don't realize give time of dion so dominate. Hey is very good actually in trade and a lot of you said he couldn't throw the deep ball but he threw that one right on the button and it's about to be thirty eight to thirty five at that you're paying so clean Yeah good question. And the ref keeps the flag in his pocket. And first year head coach barry switzer bolts out onto the field screaming bloody murder and they throw flags at him like crazy and they get a they again. They don't get the penalty they don't get the pass. They go backwards fifty yards and all of a sudden goes from second ten the four hundred forty three to third and twenty five and then joins up getting sacked on fourth down and that was the game on that play so again i'm slightly disqualify time on his impact a again payton took over team that tibo head obviously taken to the division title and won a playoff game against rothlisberger drew. Brees took a little while for him to settle in and get going. But how how can you discount. That brady walks in the door with a team. That seven and nine yielded in pandemic but they're seven or nine skew. The buccaneers haven't gone to the playoffs in forever. Right where i was at fourteen years. It's four thousand fifteen dollars. But obviously it's it's back to the two thousand two seasons. They won a ball and he in the pandemic he turns them right around and takes them to the super bowl. That is going is scheduled to be played in your home stadium and all he wants his twenty five. Minute was twenty five and twenty five right so two years at twenty five million. Is the all time bargain to me. Okay bar ubah skip. You said i mean did not the you said seventy i mean you keep saying the book booking their skill. Yes i understand. But they're not the buccaneers of thousand. Nine hundred seventy six just coming into and they'll have motala okay loaded okay. But they're loaded without direction without guidance without culture that they don't have a winning culture they were a losing football team because they led the league turnovers and penalties the year before and all sudden he obviously cleaned that up and he as i always say. He installed the patriot way in tampa bay. He did he. He taught that whole franchise how to win and he did it on the fly and got them to super bowl in the first year. Yes okay. Well payton's team was loaded too. Yeah so it was easier for peyton to flip the switch there. I just didn't think peyton can physically stand up. That was a bargain because nobody thought he could do it right. He basically knocked on your door. Brady i i give you that. Brady saw the potential but he realized he he helped it. Realize it's and think about it. Look at what peyton did for the mary. Thomas what he did for decca. Eric decker paid julius. Thomas became the highest. Paid tied in damaris tommasi became one of the highest paid wide receivers. He made a lot of people. Wealthy all the offense aside that we would not have been household names. I'm not look when it's all said and done you're probably they'll be looking at the greatest to free agent. Signings prodi paid. Manning and tom brady drew in that mix because what he was more long-term it took a little while to off once..

The deal also includes seventy five, million dollar investment from general. General Motors as part of a larger change of funding from institutional investors. The deal creates a pro forma implied equity value of the company at around one point, six billion dollars, and it will add six, hundred, seventy, five, million in immediate cash transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter and Lordstown will be listed on the Nasdaq under the ticker ride Lordstown recently unveiled its first model called the endurance. Twenty twenty one at the plant in Lordstown bio that purchased from GM, last year and jared would just add that Lordstown says, it has secured something like twenty, seven, thousand orders mostly from fleet operators. Worth one point, four, billion in potential revenue, which is good news. Apparently, this company has attracted the interest of investors here, which is pretty interesting. So San, what do you know about the truck? Well, there's still a lot. We don't know that we've seen plenty of it. Fairly modern looking truck looks a little bit like Riviera, truck has. Has, fancy led lighting going along the body. There's still no real specks. There are in Wheel Electric Motors, it'll start at fifty, two, thousand, five, hundred dollars. That's before the seventy five, hundred dollar federal tax credit for vs here's what Steve Burns the company's founder and CEO said in a video accompanying the news this morning, it is the first electric full-size pickup truck to come to market It has zero missions, its all electric. It gets equivalent of seventy, five miles per gallon. So imagine a pickup truck getting seventy, five miles per gallon. And no compromises. Although, there's a pandemic people are still using public transportation and they're planning for the future over at smart. That's the suburban bus system here in metro-detroit among a slew of possible changes. One that caught my eye was allergic extension of service for the Fast Woodward bus. The line has quickly become a flagship helping drive increased ridership numbers, pre pandemic, and providing a reliable spine to what's been a moribund underfunded public. Public. Transportation System here. This new change would take the fast Woodward bus all the way from downtown Detroit to Great Lakes. Crossing Auburn Hills. Also adding stop at a Meyer out that way. There'd be two additional stops in downtown Detroit as well. Including one right out front of Comerica Park some planning and public meetings still need to take place for this to go into effect and you can find out all. All the Info on their website at smart bus dot Org. I will say I like this ambition. This kind of thinking span one could even theoretically visit Listener Bob and Auburn Hills with this which I'm excited to think about. Yeah. But let me ask you chair though, would you get on a bus right now? No, I mean, this is definitely post pandemic planning. Yeah. I mean there's people who have to. To and I get it, but I don't have to. So I'm not going to, although I saw I got a push alert from the New York Times on my phone. I think yesterday talking about why riding the subway right now during the pandemic is actually a lot less risky than you might believe and I haven't had a chance to read it. I'll put a to that in the show notes..

"Players in the history of this isn't this was a record high other not. You're told me he was the only teenage to do it. What a hating his brother in the sport big sigh of relief for steeler nation steelers? Gm Kevin Colbert said that all signs are good for quarterback Ben Rothlisberger big. Ben suffered a season ending elbow injury and we to verse Seattle. Without Big Ben in the pocket. The steelers not only missed the playoffs but finished thirty. First in passing Rothlisberger turns thirty eight next month and is expected to make a complete recovery. Greg Jennings can big Ben get the steelers back to the postseason. Yes he can he can and before I even go off into. Why and how he can let me talk about their head coach. Mike Tomlin because as much as we kind of been on his case about the the handlings of of Locker Room and all of these things. This guy just doesn't he does not lose the one thing that he does win. He's the he's the coach. They're constantly wins when it matters and we looked at this team last year and we said okay then got hurt. No Antonio Brown no lady. I'm bill this team has done been goes down Marcus or a pouncey goes down James. Connor gets hurt. Ju Just Miss. Schuster gives her. They make the playoffs and they didn't make the playoffs. But there ain't nate even even rule of goes down at some point in the season and they find a way to win. And so now you tell me Jason Rob. I GET BEEN BACK. One of the top seven quarterbacks in the league right now currently as it stands. I get that back with healthy guys around me with James Connor with Juju and hopefully they can add some other receivers some skill guys to help them out. This is a playoff team in that division. The only team that ran away from them was the Baltimore Ravens and we saw what they look like. The Pittsburgh steelers defensively intact as one of the best defense is an all the football we talk about. Jj Watt and what Minka fiztpatrick added to that secondary. They are special they under. They understand who they are. They have an identity. Big Ben is a part of what they WANNA do moving forward at least for the foreseeable future. I liked the Pittsburgh steelers. I was impressed with how they play without being rothlisburger last year the fact that they were competitive and again Mike. Tomlin deserves a ton of credit because of that when you look at their division. Yes do they have the Baltimore Ravens to compete against one hundred percent? But everyone else on that. Afc AFC conference. I can see Pittsburgh getting back into the playoffs and large part because of big been in all the heroics that we've seen him afford that team over the course of his career. I'm out on big. Ben Knew he was shocked back. I would take uncle Ben over big Ben at this from the rice box..

"You don't develop that chemistry it can bite you in the in and I'm concerned that maybe this might be the reason why they al. The Lakers even have to the Lakers may not even be the main reason. It may be by friendly fire. Rob You know Jason. How gambler Gambler I am? Would you play blackjack without the ACIS stopping player? You wouldn't play this happens. Great this is the final Decca cars. You're looking at possibilities. That are lessened in less likely of a chance. I'm not saying they don't have a chance without these guys. But your odds of winning. I'll give you one more note. The Golden State Warriors last year. How did they start to season without boogie cousins immediately once they acquire because even without boogie cousins we the Golden State Warriors World Lock for the Championship? They were a lock. You want to know what happened. Twenty one games with Steph Clay Draymond. Boogie WARRIORS. Were eighteen and three last year averaging one hundred and twenty points what happened in the postseason injuries. They couldn't find a way all. Stay on the court together. You should remind if they weren't on the court we might be talking about different championship. Run or dynasty. That could've have still been rolling on but that didn't transpire because of injuries and started from day. One this is Greg Jennings reaching as deep. Both you guys entertaining each other. Obviously injuries are a big part in. If those guys aren't there they're going to have a hard time to be able to succeed but it's a journey it's a path or you just brought it up. The scary thing that you just said is with with those guys altogether fourteen Ford. That's how it's how you finish not how you start. It's not eighteen games. That with those guys all healthy in their last year. Toronto MISSED COA Leonard. Twenty some odd games that he was twenty two. They won the championship right. No No. They won the championship. Greg did they not they did. He missed twenty two games. Y You know what I'm just trying to tell you that it's where those guys get together. Work it out right and get healthy. And they're there for the bottom for the finish line and for the postseason and they put it all together. I understand if you if you're telling me I'm not going to have not gonNa Paul George. The chance of them. Winning a championship isn't good. I get that all I'm saying is I'm not worried about that now if we started to play tomorrow and and you don't have those guys. I understand your concern. There's a long way between now and the NBA playoffs to be worried about guys who get hurt during the year. I get it. I'm just trying to tell you. They've had twenty seven different lineup. Changes and yet throughout all of it and the Lakers had the greatest start twenty four and three and all that they are still third in the western conference. They're not eighth. Did not out of the playoffs did not struggling just to get there despite not being whole look how good they are rob. This is what you're Mexico part is what you're missing with the LA clippers. Okay Greg as a player you can understand where I'm coming from playing together as a team when you've got all these new pieces. Paul George Kawhi Leonard. You need to be on the court together to understand and build develop good habits together. For instance last night against the Celtics we see them switching on every single screen and every single time Jason Tatum got isolated against Sham. It and just torture him. Jason. Tatum went right. Adam why because Leonard hasn't been on the court with his core guys all the time they don't have that understanding together and you can see it and you just said it. Eighteen Games together. That's it you develop these good habits to build greatness. You can't just show up in. The postseason say played eighteen games together. We're going to be good and expect to raw. I'm telling you this is bad news. Talk One more point. All You keep saying all week the clippers. They got some dogs man they got. Some dogs are barking. You'll like to think Doberman pinschers with Marcus Morris and Co why beverly. I'm seeing a bunch of poodles out there last night. I'm not kidding. The Celtics lit them up. Gordon Hayward Jason Tatum buckets easily Kimball Walker. And then you're gonNA lean and mean poodles of one at the dog show. Who put in your gear knowing tough. No physical this team went one in three on a road trip against mediocre teams. They got smoked by Minnesota media. They got smoked by an second Tier Teams in the East Baltimore and Philly Philadelphia twenty-five in two years. Even the new deal the Lakers. I get it. Here's the other part. You look at last night's game I tell you look at that. They don't have Paul George. Most of the game they go to double overtime and they lose to a good team on the road. I haven't heard you say once. Hey the warriors didn't have Kevin Durant the Raptors Leonard and. They didn't get run out to Bilden. They've forced double overtime. They lost take the L. I'm not making excuses for that but I don't look at that game ago all my God. No Paul George no chance to win that game. They were that game to double overtime. So the sound the alarm and the sky is falling. And they're not going to be able to make it because they're not ready in February at the all-star break is not a valid point. If you're telling me we're in April and we're in the play offs and this is where they are. Maybe I'll buy into that. I'm not buying into that right now. Unlike what they've seen a life where they are and I'm telling you when the clippers all put it together the whole world F- If if when the whole journey has been about betty getting ready for the playoffs. They know where they are. They know how good they were a year ago with no stars when they went up to Oakland in one two playoff games against a healthy warriors team. Everybody was there. I don't doubt his team want one bit. I totally understand what you're talking about. Last night. They did play well. They did fight until two overtime overtime for the Celtics to come out on top however. The question is will the clippers injuries. Keep them from getting past the Lakers. Like so when I look at that. This is a real possibility rob. You have to be honest about it when you look at the clippers. Injury is one of the main reasons why with every every goal that they have in front of them that they cook they will possibly not achieve what they want to set out to. You have if you have a crystal ball and you're telling me that those guys aren't playing all. I'm telling you it's February all-star break on Nugget Hannah kids February look at the Golden State Warriors. You can tell you can tell them. It was February. It was January. They had guys in and out of the lineup all last year. No one said we knew that. Katie was going to get injured. Or we knew this Steph or on his last year to the NBA final. They win if you get hurt in the NBA finals. Yes you're going to be at a loss but I'm just telling you that I'm not concerned over Paul George Right. I'm telling right now or missing the load management games. This is a script that he's already done and you know what I'm willing to know that Kuwadzana knows what it takes for his body and we'll be ready when the plows come. Plows came last year. Was He ready? Yes and I I will fight I would. I would rebuttal that too with this when you look at the Toronto Raptors. How many new players? How many pieces did they have on that team or did they just really insert a guy in Kawai Leonard and say okay? You find your way in with us. And then we'll adapt or adopt. It was a lot easier than putting together a Paul George Lou. Williams Marcus Morris. Now who hasn't even been there who doesn't even know the culture who he fits what you want. But how can we pull out the best of what he has to offer for this team? So that we can have success as a unit. Would you're talking about Jason is real? Chemistry is real and is the off of the court off of the game court in practice. And when you're not getting that time and even on the court. We are not spending that time together. I don't know what you're going to do in clutch moments. We had ric Bucher on here earlier this week and he talked about the Toronto Raptors and how they understand every situation of. Who's GonNa do what what is GonNa look like? They're rose. That is important. Last night we saw it we saw Lou Williams with the hot hand. He was the guy that was pretty much taking them down the stretch and then coup why was sprinkled in in jumping there and try to hit a couple of jumpers here and there but it was no consistency. You don't know who the closer is going to be in. You have options. I get that totally understand that but sometimes when you have so many pieces it takes that much longer for them to Mesh into jail and to come together to mention Gel. I'm just saying third in the West where they are given all the circumstances. Tell Judy talent level that no no. We're quitting chemistry. And let me tell you about trying to say dead if you look at where. They are and what they've done. Despite all of that tells you that there is if you give them time and these guys get healthy and play the second half Nathan. They could be a well oiled maturity ready to go. And you say that they don't know you know as you know what Paul George. Maybe not with the clippers. Eight point women. We know that these guys have proven track records as Gaza can close the game that that's what they didn't have last year they didn't have those stars. This nucleus. That for the most part is still. There was strong even though they may plows. After Trading Tobias Harris the best player they went to Golden State or bias. There was he was. I know what's funny about it? And they made the playoffs when everybody thought they throw in the towel and they go to golden state an AP stuff clay and durant take. They take two games on the road. They make Kevin to win score fifty some points to win game six to put them out that nucleus. There were doc rivers. I believe in them when you add the two straight. Here's what's missing about that okay. This team that you keep talking about the dogs they get grit and grind. Okay when Lou Williams of mantras hero have been around as you said last year then they look over in the locker room at the diva Kawai. Leonard WHO COMES INTO L. A? And says I'm playing back to backs and his uncle. Dennis is adviser when he was negotiating with the Lakers. And everybody said Oh yeah one a private jet one. Endorse talking about this. Well why Leonard. This idea that he's some kind of dog. There is a big diva in Kuwait Leonard. And he's in that locker room with the Grit and grind guys. And then you've got Paul George in the corner kind of not having a great.
Los Angeles: QB Philip Rivers To Leave Chargers, Enter Free Agency:
"The Philip rivers thing is really interesting because there's a whole bunch of things going on number one. The chargers need to find a new quarterback. The chargers need to find somebody to kind of become their guy here in this city. Philip rivers is may or may not play again where does he go and and then there's just the totality of Philip rivers career at this point. He's I think he's going to get in the hall of fame. Because it feels like good quarterbacks get into the hall of fame but he his career is a little bit of a mixed bag because he's the numbers are great. They've won a bunch of games but they've never been to the Super Bowl. I think they've only been in the AFC championship the game. Once in his career he played a long time he sees it one of those. It's really really nice and this is the thing about La. I know allies career is is a mixed bag to but there are two super bowl. Wins in that thing. There's a bunch of Nice long play offerings. Philip rivers has really never had that. I'm wondering if he's low key odor. The Matt Stafford met staffer when he does say goodbye is going to have some healthy numbers. And he's not going to have very much postseason success. And he's GonNa kind of be a guy and I know that doesn't sound like a good thing to say about Philip rivers because he's had occurred as better better than Stafford but the reality is that he's going to be remembered in the same grouping as Matt Stafford big numbers. No postseason success. Yeah you think about it. I mean ah you. Let's do the game real quick. Best Charger quarterback rivers is not Dan. Fouts Philip Rivers for me like Dan. fouts is still the guy that oh I think of when just off the top of my head and Philip Rivers has had a really nice career but he to me and make me. I mean you said Philip Rivers I but to me. It's still Dan fouts. Stan Humphries freeze is not the best quarterback in charge. He's not going to the super bowl super bowl so it's not the best ever which I think fouts is that guy and if you're not the guy that took him to the Super Bowl who are where are you in this whole thing and oh by the way. There's this whole element which absolutely sucks Philip rivers. I'm not a charger fan. I'm not not necessarily a Philip rivers fan but it sucks that they're the dude is homeless in a football sense and I'm not talking about where he goes with. Its indie or Miami or Tampa. He doesn't belong belong to anybody anymore because the chargers came to La Nobody in La Cares about Philip rivers as a football player. We don't have any history with him. We don't have any great. I remember seeing Filbert's do x Y and Z people. People Sandiego certainly do lay there anymore. And he doesn't even play for that team anymore. He's down the road. So who does he belong to at this point. He belongs to the San Diego chargers which don't exist anymore lousy guy that's had that career should have a home forever and he won't
Cowboys clicking on offense heading into matchup with Lions
"Golladay going up against the lions our. I should say going up against the cowboys who have a very good pass. Defense ranked number two actually against receivers and fantasy points fan duel. We don't know what Matt Stafford Status Status. He's probably not gonNA play or if he does play he may be limited because of that back injury just really kind of hard to trust this. Lions offense right now and Golladay they in particular is I guess a big. He's kind of like a boomer bust. I player just be based on the fact that using less deep threat. He's he's scored a lot of touchdowns Over the last like five or six weeks so it's just it makes me a little bit nervous at seventy six hundred this week going up against a very good Dallas defense and Particularly just against receivers and so I just don't love that matchup.

"I S P Q r a history of ancient. Rome is absolutely fantastic but I like the way that you put that because in the offseason you know I call them slumpy match. I said that they would never make a serious run with them. I've called a Mediocre Mitch recently that might be too much praise but at the same time in the off season. I was calling Matt Nagy great for being able to pull whatever performance he could out of trubisky last season this year. I'm starting to kind indiv- regret the praise that I've heaped onto nagy and it's not like an anti bears things like I love the bears defense I loved. I thought I loved Matt. Nagy like I like a lot of players. There's on their team. I think there are solid team. I just quarterbacks hold them back but now I feel as if Matt Nagy is not doing a good job of letting trubisky do what he does well when it comes to intermediate downfield stuff and trubisky is not fantastic at those things he doesn't have great accuracy with those things he doesn't read the field entirely well but I feel like Nagy did a much better job last year of scheming up those things and we talked about it going into the lead up into the playoff game then he is this year so I think it might be a little bit of both and I think Nagy's just getting a little too cute from self. You know what I mean yeah. I think that's a great way to put it you and I and future guess of this show or one of your shows on bleeding green radio radio network price Rossler. We had this discussion yesterday in the twitter. DM's about is doing enough to sort of develop trubisky because you've got some point. Throw the kid into the deep at and and say look either got to figure it out. You're not obviously the parallel. The people always have is jared goff figured it out at year two yes sean mcvay still holds the guy's hand but you could see make make some decisions and making some reads at least post snap phase where he's figuring out which robiskie it's like. I called it similar to the Urban Meyer Tim Tebow Situation Down in Florida. Her wear Meyer was like look. We just go to win games at so I if I've quarterback that throws jump passes off of fake quarterback drawers and his throwing mechanics look like a medieval trouble shea if it's still lets us win games. That's fine. I don't need to develop them a coach up. I feel feel like Nagy's doing the same thing but it's might be holding trubisky back in a sense because he doesn't need to sort of learn to develop those final points position like we'll be crushed him last week for the picky through in the end of the game because he was staring down the Road Yep if he can get away with doing Nagy's is why does he need to do anything else yeah and you mentioned. Goffin often and gough is solely different. Everybody knows that I'm not the biggest fan but at the same time going through his progressions and making throws so the intermediate and deep areas of the field is not in goffs weakness whatsoever when things things aren't down he has to work out us out of structure but he does get his hand held a little before the snap but the way in which Nagy's trying to do it with trubisky right now is absurd and if you have to do do that if you truly have to do that because you're so scared of what your quarterback is too. You have the wrong quarterback. I mean that's that's just the facts. It's one or the other right right. you know it's interesting. We were talking about how when Sean mcvay approaches the way he handles jared Goff. He still gives him different stuff to run. He still challenges him. Yeah Maggie's idea of scheming up Mitchell trubisky. How many different ways can I run curl flat like that's it like that he does. That's what they we come back to and look. I wrote over. PF W that Matt Nagy probably graded trubisky extremely well for this Denver game because he probably executed the game plan that he wanted but that's the underlying problem. I think this is the game plan that they could run right now it. Is it a problem with trubisky. He can't do anything else or is it. Nagy aggie because he's holding them back. I don't know it finally ultimately come down on that but I think we need to least have the discussion about how Matt Nagy handling him well. According to some they're they're restricting the offense because of the weather in Denver in September and the altitude and it's impossible to throw their it's an interesting theory one. We'll see how it plays out in Washington next week to see if it's the same right the the five folk at pro football weekly and I and I love Arkansas and all those guys so I wanna throw slain on them but I did think that was a very interesting way of looking at that because I mean Denver is really fantastic successful in home openers the weather is hot and the altitude is bad so at that had to play into Nagy's thinking then Canal Periodic Look Matt Nagy instructed the bears to collect them. She seashells from ten percent. That's what went down bom so. Let's take a look around the NFL fell obviously today. The whole reason that the show was created was to talk about the upcoming enemy opponent for the eagles which is going to be Matt Stafford. We'll be talking about him later. We're GONNA talk about some Carson Wentz as well but let's take a look around the league at all of the injuries that have happened so far this league this year at the position. I mean Andrew Luck retires. We all know about that. You in Benjamin selected elected a great job of breaking that that down this show here and I was on vacation. Big Ben is done for the year so now the steelers are dealing with Mason Rudolph just shipped off a first round pick for Mika Fitzpatrick Patrick. That's looking better and better by the day 'cause I thought the steelers GonNa miss the playoffs anyway and now you're dealing Mason Rudolph in their nick foles. We talked about him. The fractured broken collarbone. Whatever it was clavicle sorry clavicle. Drew brees is dealing with a thumb issued. That's going to keep mount. We're going to touch back on that on the second. Sam Darnold has ban kissing too many lady friends at he's got the mono big time and then you've got Trevor Simian. WHO's ankle injury on. Was it Monday Monday night leg. What did I I had a flashback. I saw that yeah I shattered my Tibia like rain on after because adrenaline just a beast and then walked on on it and then progressively started to crawl on it and then like I tore all the ligaments on the like it was it was it was a nice flashback there so simians out indefinitely with drew brees. You told me that you had a similar injury. When you played to your thumb on your throwing hand that rang up I actually did it was sort gatekeepers thumb and I'm holding up the my thumb hair and the scar for all the listeners on news channel eight years of news channel aid and what happens is the ligament on the inside tears tares and makes her thumb unstable so can dislocate to the outside how it happens to be my junior year opening game of the season started. QB goes down. I'm in there. I'm throwing the playbook out the window like we see the play. That got hurt on. We call toss plan to the right out of our jumbo. Package are goldline package but we had a single package for me because that could rutted not throw that if I felt like I could keep it I would single signal to our x receiver one receiver in the formation to crack block instead of just running off because usually a jumble package receiver just off here. I'm signaling him to crack. Fake the toss and keep it around the end. Our head coach put that in his look if you're there in the game. We're probably just let let you run. I was basically Mitchell trubisky before Mitchell trubisky okay the original tea. Mitch trubisky alone me it be so I faked the toss on this play. I keep it and I I. I just have one got. We read it like at the Plus Twenty Five. I had one guy to beat. It was actually the other teams free safety. Who was my team it in high school. He chops down on. I extend the ball and I literally land on it on like the one foot line the boss of my right hand and as I landed at pop the thumb and that okay tour yeah so I snuck Tuck it in for a touchdown the next play but I played the rest of my junior year and senior year I use playing quotes now with that injury could barely grip the ball which is whip breezes dealer because you see it. He gets hit tears that ligament and what they had to do with me was they. Actually I have an extra ten in my wrist. If you take your thumb and your pinkie thank you finger touch them together and look inside of your wrist. You might see a couple of tendons. They're right at the base of your face. You know hand. I had an extra tendon so they took that out of my wrist dropped it into my thumb and fixed it yeah so I played with that. I played with it again using that word in quotes because it didn't play play very well. It was really hard. I've small hands anyway so Cuba hand size day would have been brutal one for me but without the ability to really use the thumb that way encrypt I couldn't. I was shot putting the ball so I understand why this is a minor. Injuries sounds like minor introduce a thumb ligament but it really impacts because it's again ligament on the inside. That's will you get the strength to really close your thumb on the ball and grip it and without the ability to do that A. that Pumpkin pop back opening anytime and be you don't have to strengthen the thumb to grip the football and that's why breeze had to get this done so two things number one holding the ball very important in this league. It matters number two. Did you get crap from your coats for trying trying to reach out for the goal line because I feel like bill would have been very upset with you for exposing the ball to unnecessary risk as we're trying to go for a score. I did let me tell you I had to start the next week week. Okay we had a little bit of a program moment. I remember that one day practice. I've got this thumb injury that on town anybody about right because I want. This is my chance to start at. Our coach pulled me aside after we do the film session. He's like look. You were dangled the ball out too much. Here's a football. You're going to have to carry this bad boy at wear a watch to secure it all at the time. I was literally like Dr Jefferson Walk into class area but this dirty d three school this small ivy people are like what is wrong with you but he didn't and give the whole like if somebody knocks out of your head you're going to be a dead man kind of the James. Bond gave him but yeah yeah a lot. A lot of stick for that is our friend. Mark Bullock uhlich would say across the pond. I got a lot of that's incredible so that that'll comfort for the injuries around the league kind of explains the drew brees injury.
Dak Prescott, Matt Ryan And Dallas Cowboys discussed on Mornings with Keyshawn, Jorge & LZ
"There's gory floating around the dak prescott turn down thirty million key now. Nobody is numbers the terms or anything else. There's is no like hoard report that the dallas cowboys offered dak prescott thirty million over x. amount of years guaranteed this that but if dak prescott was offered thirty million a year and said no no that's. That's something makes you scratch your head because that's top tier money. That's that's right near the top of the harry. Matt ryan matt stafford that at the top of the list yeah but but i but i don't know that he turned down thirty real sea right. It doesn't sound right. Maybe it was a thirty average. You know the numbers the guaranteed number the money is guaranteed. Is it ninety eight guarantee plus because that's the going rate. Ninety million plus guarantee for the quarterbacks is going right now. Did they offer him thirty an average of giving sixty guaranteed interest and he's looking at another thirty million he

"But I mean to me I think that's a little bit premature still obviously injuries are concerned not going to say, they're not at all. He does get heart. But I mean, I just looked at, you know, case by case, you know, he has broken wrist in college since like a fluke thing, it's not like soft tissue. It's not like you're concerned about his wrists. You know for the rest of his career is not the kind of injury, tears ACL. That's pretty significant, obviously. But I mean, we still don't know for sure when that happens, right? I mean, there was there was speculation that it could have been when he was running into the end zone before even got hit. So that's the case that's pretty ridiculous to call that guy like reckless. I mean anyone is running at seven point in any year. I mean, this Watson towards ACL running in practice. Right. Like, you know, freak things can. Happen the hairline rib fracture is a little bit silly. That that gets brought up so much to me. I mean, he he literally MRs euro regular season games that you're playing tangle football for crying out loud. And and here's another thing too. That like we always talk about how players can get better, you know, in terms of accuracy or reading defense things that like why isn't it possible that he can get better protecting himself? Right. I mean, isn't that popular you look at Matt Stafford and former NFL quarterback and a good analysts these days Danner, Lafayette pointed out on Twitter that you know, look at Matthew Stafford everyone he was injury prone earlier on his career. And now he's played like what one hundred twenty straight games. So I don't I just hate this like this whole definitive alarmist thing going on that like Carson Wentz his injury prone, and he's never going to be able to stay healthy ever while a little premature. And I get to concern. I'm not trying to say it's not a concern. I'm just trying to say that like it's too early to make these definitive judgments, and I just know part of that. It is I guess what you would call take culture. This isn't art of the take maybe kinda paralleling here just about how like everything is. You know, every this really takes are being rushed these days. It's like we have to jump out. And you know, I mean, our good friend, Jack Fritz's, even the one who says if you're not I to take your last. So there's some pressure to deliver here. But I think you know that the quality of tastes consulting. Sometimes when that's the case in you're not giving enough perspective in rationality, and kind of the context everything. So all this is very long winded. But just to say that you know, Carson Wentz is dealing with these issues at certainly concerning. And we don't know all the information right now. That's the truth. You know, we've seen some reports here in there, we still haven't heard anything from the team by the time. You'll be listening to this though Peterson may have given a press conference. I mean, he is repressed conference on Friday morning. And we'll see if he gives out any information on Friday. But I dunno John. It's pretty concerning. How are you feeling about it? I'm concerned about it as well. I am taking a l-. Little bit of a wider view of this. And I note guys like Ben Rothlisberger. An Aaron Rodgers have missed significant chunks of numerous seasons during the course of their career. And yet we don't consider them injury prone..

Anyway, they go into a guy where that things break right way will be ninety seven win the division that sucks, and Matt Stafford is that kind of guy after today, and this is I know overreaction and you get your calls at eight five five two two four two two seven that number again is eight five five two one two four CBS and your tweets Admira's CBS CBS enter today on out on Matt Stafford I'm out on putting my bottled water out here. And you know, what I'm sorry lions fans. You're not winning a damn thing with Stafford. But now, you leave yourself in a position to are you fully I get paid too much money to just dump them. But you're in no man's land. At the quarterback position. That's the kind of game at home match staffers to win for you. And if he doesn't win it for you. He certainly can't lose it for you. And that's what he did today. He lost it for the Detroit Lions. I can't trust Matt Stafford as far as I could throw. Well, Matt Stafford ever be a big time quarterback in a sleek. Is that game tire Leon, Matt? Stafford today, we'll take your calls at eight five five two one two four CBS and we're going to eight five five two one two four two two seven. Plus, we'll continue to monitor the Redskins and Cowboys as this game gets ready to kick plus basketball. You know, what tonight at the thanksgiving table? Kyrie irving..

"And we have such great fans because it's such an interest interesting game it's such an intricate game and there's so many little things that go into a successful season or unsuccessful would you be kind of carson we gotta get out of here and we'll talk to you about the global giving that you're doing with fedex and a segment would you be kind enough to tell me the one quarterback that you looked at during your career where you were like if he had more support he would have been a lot better he was sabotaged by all these circumstances you speak up and that's a really good question gosh that's a good question you know i i look at matt stafford i was gonna say matt stafford go ahead i'm gonna sav ago yeah yeah i mean i i look i look at the way matt plays the game and has as good of an arm as anybody in the league or top two arms in the league he's great in the pocket he is a phenomenal under pressure he's getting better at being a runner of the football and and i'm not saying he's you know he's michael vick out there but he's just finding a way to get six yards on third and five and then getting down and not taking hits and then you look at the turmoil around him you know from some bad drafts to just stuff going on the front office to coaching changes there's just been a lot of turmoil and no consistency around him and i think you know if he were playing for a different organization maybe he might have.

"Mm it it it that that i'm telling you right now minnette that afc it's never been this clear this early any conference i've never felt like that our three alive this is the her wherever you may be and however you may be less than a la of in los angeles i already box board radio app as one christy lay joining me for our three and five six minute rob parker is furious rob parker agree and disagree with me on the broad green bay matt stafford all sorts of things by the way big nba story breaking eric bledsoe this sons reportedly may end up in milwaukee or the box be a real threat deliver on james wa five the hear about milwaukee again cap for two years is i gave your eyes of milwaukee milwaukee is the team in the east and am i go to lebrun moved in milwaukee it'll brought overall milwaukee lebron's not on milwaukee okay they got a guy and he's great and they got another guy in his third guy negga bledsoe i'm sure abroad like eric bledsoe scary boy oh boy ill boy all right monday night football let me go before we get rob parters freaking out led let's start with this avoided any kind of what you believe or abusive relationships emotionally abusive and what what does that mean that means you're doing seventy five percent of the work just avoid those relationships business life if you're doing all the lifting euro is the one going the extra mile euro as the one put in the time in euro is doing stuff with the kids euro is doing stuff for the business that's not the kind of lopsided relationship you wanna be in you wanna be in a relationship and it's not always 5050 it's not i understand life difficult right it's not always 5050 somebody's always doing a little more work but it's kind of a 75 twenty rule like if you feel like you're doing three quarters of the work in any relationship personal professional get out of the relationship so aaron rogers is in one of those relationships now he's he's doing seventy five percent of the work.

"Quarterback up there and matt stafford got you guys and i know alabama players never look ahead but i'm sure he's probably already looking ahead of the afc championship game is new it looks calm promising to see them there but uh we'll see how they finish in how we finish so after that we will be the slim they're gonna be there but i want to get some thoughts from you about just the experience of playing for for not only nick sabin but the kirby smart because uh you know he's gone on as done quite well but sometimes we we we typecast coach sabin but what was it like as one of his top players wanted his leaders one of the people that helped him to another national championship it was great coast mart was a great coach and of course smart you'll get me coming better defensive player noone a defense in understanding what i do on display and would have fix the back into the place so having him it was great and yet i understand that and it was just great for me onto the next level and fianna stan defense is fast with other people can't and in terms of nick save i mean we we here all the cliches that some around the country snooker about nobody in the locker room snickers about it because you understand but when what was when you be from the moment you got here in you're you're quite a player at an early age to when you left here a couple of months ago what was your progression and what was your the learning curve because you do have to understand what he's doing before you can get better uh you know could save and he just as you keep working at it honestly nervous too high 72 low key pushing through because honestly you never know when your point is going to be the best of the worst so you got keep listening because if we stop someone's when a passion so he keeps telling us that we got to keep pushing forward to stay top so you keep pushing yourself to ease the limit you can go see you are for you can go hammers britain can be and just keep working mets on your mindset towards everything is it to competition.
