It will be tapering off during the late evening and early tomorrow night, and then temperatures will plunge down into the upper 40s and near 50° for first things Sunday morning. Then heading into the weekend, the pattern will change, the storm system that's bringing a lot of severe weather to the plains in Texas right now will be our strong cold front. It will be cloudy on Saturday, temperatures won't be as warm, highs will only be in the low 70s, and it looks like a couple of hours of some soaking rain with some possible thunderstorms that will move in during the late afternoon on Saturday, and then end early on Saturday night. Collapsing as it goes heading towards the southwestern Baltimore suburbs could flare up again as it gets a little closer to be Wi Marshall. But that should be the only severe weather start really, for the rest of the evening. Montgomery County in Loudon counties have been dropped from the severe thunderstorm watch the rest of northern Maryland. It's still in effect until 11 PM but expected to be dropped for everyone early, just some lingering showers now in Montgomery County, especially near Potomac and Bethesda in Rockville. And a little cool breeze from the collapsed thunderstorm now starting to move into northwest and Northeast D. C. So for the rest of the evening, staying in the eighties unless you've been cooled by the thunderstorm into the seventies, In which case you'll stay there. Severe Thunderstorm Warnings For Parts Of Washington, DC Area
"Severe thunderstorms popping up in central Maryland. Let's go to storm Team four meteorologist Matt Ritter News era. It is an isolated thunderstorm, but it is a severe is produced some wind damage near the city of Frederick a short time ago. The latest severe thunderstorm warnings in effect has been extended southeastward from the city of Frederick, affecting northwestern Howard County, South Central Carroll County.
