In fact, I don't know anything about it. Maybe you could tell me what it is and why have so many of them. A black insect, a beetle like the size of a Japanese beetle, But it's not the Japanese beetles. They're black with orange color. Like a Halloween colors black and orange. Yeah, that's that. Any idea what that is? Yes, but I don't remember. Sounds like a bomb. If this comes out every year, I think they're being let me look. So you know, the funniest thing is when you say I have insects in my garden. Yeah. You are con in their territories. Are they eating your outside? I'm pretty sure it's a box. Elder beetle. What you described But are they eating anything? Are you losing crop? Are you losing? No, I don't think they're there. All infested in the leaves that have fallen down into the Flowerbed If you if you stir up the fallen leaves, you say a whole bunch of these black and orange beetles I wouldn't miss was so that it That is a box elder bug in the moat number one complaint about him. Occasionally they want to come in and spend the winter with you now have a criminal. Okay, well, then you don't have to worry about a thing. They're not going to. They're not going to harm the flowers. Yeah. Okay. Well, I appreciate the information of box box Elder bugs you go. So you have to hate samples out here for me? Yes, those air sort of Christmas colors for the cranberry inns. Of course. You know, this looks like an Irish green to make this a little bit better. What's it's for? Red light, scarlet tanager. So what's the green at the bottom that that's called Gulf wheat? When I hold up golf we then you can talk if you held the next one up is Kalani Green. Yeah, that means a punch in the face, but we just got one more minute in this last hour. Jeff, you're going to tell us what was on sale here. Card Wells. Well, remember? Yeah. Fire safety mouth, See? Moderna’s coronavirus vaccine may be promising for elderly
"We? On the search for a vaccine for covert 19 Yesterday, Moderna published findings that the elderly and their ongoing trials are releasing more and stronger antibodies, and they thought they would Matt Harper has been taking a look at vaccines for partners that stat health medicine publication. He joins us now and Matt. Let's just go broader here. We've been hearing from President Trump that the vaccine will be ready by mid October. What are the experts saying? Well, there is one vaccine that could potentially have data telling us that it works. And that's the Fizer vaccine. That's the on ly one that's in the October timeframe. Moderna has said that They're looking at late November. Even if that happens, approval or even emergency use authorization may not be instantaneous. And distribution will not be Instantaneous, which is what Chris Wallace was trying to ask about during the debate the other night well and tell us who decides because we know the FDA made an announcement they were going to extend sort of the examination period of the results of the different companies. And President Trump said that that was political that they were just trying to hurt him and that he would be the one who decides But aren't there committees and commissions who actually have the final word on this? There is a worry that if they wanted to the administration could circumvent the entire FDA process. The much more likely scenario is that it will follow the normal process and that that has to go through the FDA and there is a committee. That the FDA convenes to get advice on the data before it makes a decision. You know, the companies hire these outside committees that watch over the studies, and those are the ones that would tell you at this point that the data from these vaccines are so good. That you're going to find out about them. Now it could take several months for us to get the data from the Madonna and Fizer vaccines. If wonderfully, there were fewer cases of covert around, but also if the vaccines turned out to be less effective than hoped. And just briefly. We know there are some top contenders for some of the first vaccines and they're in different stages, but most of them are pretty far in Into their testing. So what is left to be done to show that a vaccine is safe? So you have to show First of all that you're reducing the number of cases of symptomatic Cove it people who test positive for the virus and have symptoms and you have to show that There are fewer cases in the group of people who got the vaccine and the people who got the placebo. Some of the trials are saying they want at least two months of follow up on half the patients in the trial, and that's because most vaccine side effects would happen within that time frame. And part of the worries if you stop early, but you don't have enough data in the elderly and you don't have enough data in adolescence, then you might not have of those data ever if somehow releasing the first day that causes there to be issues with the trial. Ongoing visor says that they plan to keep their trial on going past the first analyses. But that's basically what has to happen. The vaccines have to actually prove that they work and prove that they are safe. A lot of the people who say to wait. Some of the critics are basically saying it's not that big a wait to get a lot more information right?
ACC schedule includes Notre Dame, 10 conference games
"We're pleased to be joined. Now by our colleague NAP Fortuna nobody's more plugged in AC and also Notre Dame who is now at least for one football season a member of the ACC we were just talking a little bit offline map, but it's been kind of a whirlwind where this meeting of the president's for for Wednesday we knew about it for. A while and they were gonNA have poor. I. Was they're gonNa vote on one of few schedule models and then the day before it became no, they're not ready to vote. It's GonNa get pushed back a week and then all of a sudden band with almost no warning there was a full press release with the whole schedule model on everything. What happened. Like everything else when it comes to college football news amid pandemic I think everyone is learning things from anyone other than the primary source. So to speak I mean this was a rare case where a reported him break this story that the League was able to put this story out on its own terms and I think. Being that this was a president driven decision that probably shouldn't be too surprising because those guys are the ultimate. Shock collars when it comes to weather there will there won't be football. This fall but. Athletic Directors were not on that Board of Governors meeting call today they had. Kept them abreast of what they were talking about him models and so forth. But. As you said, I mean I was told as recently as yesterday. Tuesday that. The eighties were not ready to present a model that they were ready to go with just in light of the MARLINS fiasco with the. MLB. On Monday the evergreen situation going on there they still wanted to to to flesh things out and. figure out what the best approaches and I do think it's the irony of all ironies that as soon as the ACC puts out this press release, our friend Ross Stellar over sports illustrated has a report in the SEC is going to go conference only which. In many ways I can't help but think contradicts what the ACO is trying to accomplish right when they want to keep that one non-conference late open. Matt. Let me ask you this. So, as part of this deal Notre Dame is gonNA share the TV revenue from its home games with the rest of the members. How how big of a concession is that for them and was you? had been a stumbling block before and what do you think was in jacks bricks mind when when this kind of deal was presented to him I think operating under the assumption here for the sake of this conversation that there will be a season. I. I think that's a pretty big concession Notre Dame that's a deal as a private school that. Is Not public. We don't know the details I mean we. A. Very strong. I guess if you will that it's in the range of fifty million dollars or so and that it's significantly less than what they would be getting. From TV rubbing new distribution standpoint if they had joined the conference fully but I don't think that's a small matter that Notre Dame is is all in on the ACC at least for this year that they will be sharing that revenue in that they'll be you know. Frankly the big picture first time in one, hundred, Fifty, eight years of Notre, dame football they're going to interest season competing for a conference championship I mean that's that's very very. Big Ding even say finishing third place right they don't even come close to qualifying for they see if the season goes on just the fact that we're saying that that Notre Dame fans are reading that in hearing that and learning that about their school today I. think that is a very, very big headline when you talk about the Notre Dame, not just as program Business Itution, it's extraordinary I don't think you can understate how I mean they're they're the it's one of those issues or or griping points that. For my whole career I mean it's just been a constant. Why won't they join a conference? Somebody should force them to join a conference and then a permanent obviously but something finally. Put them in a position where they. Had to join a conference and I don't know the giving away the TV money. You know I don't I don't have the numbers, but that could end up being awash because they don't make that much from NBC and if they also get to now get a bigger share a full share of the you know the larger. ACC, ESPN deal I mean for all we know. They're making more money out of it. I don't know but the fact that they. So how how you know the Notre Dame fan base like how are they going to be feeling about this? There's the independence is such a point of pride obviously. But also if they didn't do this, there was a decent chance they were gonNA, end up with like a six game schedule. I think the initial reaction will be surprised in disappointment. Now, those feelings may linger throughout the course of this twenty twenty football season or they could be gone Tuesday when the Board of Governors of the NCAA makes a ruling on. How if and how the season will proceed and I can't help but think I may sound cynical here. But part of me wonders if it in the back of the decision makers minds at Notre Dame, they know what? Like the silent part is out loud. So to speak, they just don't think that season it's going to be feasible and if it makes everyone happy. Everything copacetic to just say, yes and concede to have everyone move forward in as unified of a front as possible under one umbrella as the ACC. then. They were willing to do that and maybe could. Bank that goodwill on the back end, I don't know that. That's me kind of theorizing here digging out loud. But I do think that headlined just seeing the press release seeing Notre Dame eligible for a conference title game I think that is a not insignificant. It's just like you said it's a conversation it's a question. I it's taken up. You know a chapter of your book God knows how many hours of our time on twitter at a mailbags and so forth t to hear the words Notre Dame, and let's say, Hey, you know they do play Clemson on their schedule and it's No divisions US here. So the top. Winning percentage teams go hypothetically. They could lose the CLEMSON and beat Clemson or be Clemson lose clemson. For the ACC title, I'm just picturing right now they're hockey team is currently the back to back big ten champions I'm trying to picture a big time championship. A banner. Compton. Ice Pavilion. A right down the road from an ACC championship banner at Notre Dame Stadium if the season out there, and if they were to to win the League because that would be pretty pretty funny. It would seem like it would make them more likely though for this to at some point, be permanent because I the argument I've always heard is nor named loves the aspect of of the uniqueness of not being. like everybody else, and at least for this year with all the craziness that's going on, they're going to be like everybody else to a large degree and find out they really. Like, Hey, this is cool. Seriously

"You, for the kind introduction and I was so excited to speak with theresa and Fatty Day, because evolve have big. Businesses and I find that sells is something that can be really hard to hire for and really hard to learn. A lot of my background is on the product side so. We can make prototypes. We can get things out there. We can handle inbound, but when it comes to having a really strong smell strategy including hiring a sales voice. Something! That's been been tricky over time, so I wanted to have this conversation to get as much advice as possible about how you went about finding your sales hires what you looked for any challenges you had along the way. I love it awesome. This is my favorite kind of conversation so many ideas Matt. Let me ask you a question, so maybe can you describe it in like a minute so that we can maybe give you also some specific advice in your case, so how many? How many customers you have today, what is the enterprise sales cycle? Look like how long did it take? What's the average customer take? Do you have any sales reps like? Can you paint a little bit of the picture? Because maybe then we could actually give you some specific like actionable things out of this. So our team is very small and we're four people and we just brought on. To people went to help kind of conscious and sales. I'm in another person to help execute in sales, but there's not somebody who's full. We wanted to kind of test and see. What we liked to get a handle of this situation, we have about six customers or so are we generally sell to large businesses, and especially, because the product that we make is very hardware focused. It was really around the beginning of last year we were able to get to market in a meaningful way when we were able to have samples were like this. Versus like imagine what you could get. Rich is a really different process to last year. We say on a few fortune one thousand companies. This year we're hoping to bring out a few more, but as he mentioned as. Her and I do most of the sales calls, and at some point for these really high attached cells processes. It really doesn't scalp very well, so I think that in the past we felt a little burnt by certain sales hires, and so we're trying to think okay. How do we re strategize everything about this differently? In order to be able to hire better, and because I think for the company to grab, we definitely have to have to have someone. Well. Let's turn to our expert Therese, Tucker. What's your advice to Mattie? Mattie I like you don't come from a sales background. And I definitely made plenty of mistakes in the early days and I have to tell you that the first really capable sales leader that I hired made the difference between the company succeeding and failing okay, but before I found him I definitely went through a number of. Different attempts at trying to find the right people, and it's difficult, because people that are in sales can talk a good game right just about all of them, and that may or may not translate in terms of. Performance now with that you have to think about the kind of sales culture that you want I did not want a sales culture like some of the other software companies that I've worked at you know there are certain software companies that have reputations for people, basically just brawlers. They grabbed the prospect, and they throw them on the ground and stomp on them until they get a deal I've had a few of those okay again. That's not something that necessarily comes through in an interview, because everybody's on their best behavior in an interview, so you're GONNA WANNA. Look for proven success. You're going to want to look for culture alignment in terms of the culture that you're setting for your company. For your early sales. People I would suggest that you do options. A really good salesperson can work anywhere I mean they really, can't they? They've got all the options in the world right I mean in. Actual you know they can go anywhere. And so why would they come to a small company that may or may not succeed in a new market. So, what is the carrot to get somebody WHO's really good? And, typically that would be stock options that gives them tremendous upside.

The latest on the Trump impeachment inquiry
"We start with Donald Trump's impeachment crisis a stampede of damning facts gathered by the day I anti legal defense that appears increasingly erratic today trump was pressed on his stonewalling of Congress and his refusal to comply with those subpoenas in fact he suggested that probably ends up being a big Supreme Court case all right so at this point trump strategy it's pretty clear obstruct deflect confused and if all else fails hope the Supreme Court to which he appointed to justice of which he appointed come and save him even as new facts emerged today the full memo from the first whistle blower released with new details about the call and the New York Times pointing out with details about what went down inside the State Department as frustrations grew over trump blocking military aid for Ukraine now against that drumbeat trump supporters are pushing increasingly bizarre narratives one trump ally and former advisor appeared on a Fox News panel with Rudy Giuliani where he referred to Democrats probe as a regicide which if you don't know like I didn't know earlier today is actually the murder of a king. What you're seeing is regicide this is regicide a by another name fake impeachment I refused the call whistle blowers these two nonentities are suicide bombers that the Democrats have unleashed all right so you heard that regicide suicide bombers that is the language now coming from trump's camp remarkable contrast from how -servative used to talk about impeachment today a moment resurfacing from the congressman Mike Pence speaking in two thousand and eight about what the standard should be for impeaching a president this business of high crimes and misdemeanors goes to the question of of whether or not the person serving as president of the United States put their own interests their personal interests head of public service that's the vice president Mike Pence when he was a congressman back in the day Matt Miller chief DOJ spokesman during the Obama administration is with US Jason Johnson politics editor for the root dot com is also with us and the daily Beast Betsy would drifts one is as well great to have all of you with us let's lots to break down here Matt let me begin with you what do you make today of the president subtly invoking the Supreme Court and that this battle is likely to end up there you know I think they'd love for it to end up the Supreme Court because that means we wouldn't have any decision on whether the documents they're obstructing congressman tainting had to be turned over until sometime next year maybe even past the two thousand twenty election that's been their strategy all along not just with this investigation but with the previous investigations house launched deny the House they're entitled to make them go to court and drag it out because there's a lengthy appeals process. I think this one is different in that the house the House obviously would like to get the documents that they've subpoenaed but they're not they would like to get witness testimony but they're not gonNA wait for the administration to turn them over and they're not gonNA wait for the end of court battles they already have a whistle blower who came forward and supply them a lot of information I think there are you know they got one witness Kurt Volker who was willing to quit rather than stay inside the administration it'd be prohibited from testifying and I suspect what they'll do is push forward given that they already have enough evidence that the president pressured the Ukrainian government to to launch an investigation they already have evidence of quid pro quo and those Kurt Volker texts that were released they're obviously things that they would like to get their hands on for example more evidence about the withholding funds from Ukraine but I don't think they're gonNA wait for the courts they're going to go order because they have enough evidence and they'll probably get more as more witnesses come forward at despite the White House trying to block them so to that point Jason the White House as we mentioned refusing to cooperate with these demands realistically besides going the path of the courts is and that was just spelling out what options do the Democrats have beyond subpoenas anything well they're option is to just have a vote right they don't require this information and I'll be honest we can take the headline White House stymies Congress house refuses to hand over information we could run that same headline every three months since this administration began so it's I don't think for once the Democrats are not shocked and amazed at the eight houses lying or not providing information they can have this vote whenever they want here's the other key part about this every piece of information that they've asked for that this administration refuses to come forward with can be part of a complaint about obstruction of justice into an investigation of inappropriate behavior that the president has already admitted to so that is their option to take everything Donald Trump is doing now and make that a part of their case in a stronger case that for once according to the polls not only are people in favor of the impeachment inquiry but we have now moved we're Americans are actually recent poll so Americans are actually in favor of Donald Trump being removed from office in a vote and that's something that works Democrats favor and interesting and all of this today former Congressman Trey goudy now's going to serve as outside counsel for the trump team and it's amazing because if you go back to two thousand twelve here he is actually announcing Democrats for not cooperating with Congressional Oversight Watch this clip the notion that you can withhold mation documents from Congress no matter whether you're the party in power or not empower is wrong respect for the rule of law must mean something irrespective of the vicissitudes of political cycles so that means that you just on your screen there who made that huge appeal about nobody withhold power from Congress or excuse me withhold information from Congress's power to have oversight is now going to defend and justify the president withholding being information from Congress are those words betsy going to come back and haunt trey goudy no question and these political cycles have early gone through a heck of assist Tude as Gowdy my put it the fact that Republicans spent eight years of the Obama Administration laying out in the most asta robust and detailed way possible arguments that the executive branch has to comply with subpoenas an oversight requests from the from the legislative branch in something that's going to create challenges for all of them that said the White House is legal strategy faces a really complex difficulty because there's tension within the White House regarding how White House counsel Pat Simple Loni is approaching this particular issue simple only is treating it perhaps more as a legal fight than a political fight it seems the White House counsel's office people to an extent are still in molar mode thinking in terms of winning court fights rather than thing this has primarily a political undertaking we know that impeachment at its core is a political tool and for the most part of the president is outside allies view the biggest threat to him as a as impacting vote but simple owning is approaching it more from the legal side and that's generated a little bit of friction and the interesting thing again in this betsy that you got the GOP inviting Giuliani to testify Lindsey Graham Watson come up to the hill to talk about Ukraine Corruption Watch his latest appearance on Fox News I just drove through okay they required witnesses to face the witch and some witches were acquitted it's ridiculous the only place I can think of what we had trials like this is in the Soviet Union the remember the president used to call this a witch hunt this is now more than a witch hunt the which is headed better in other words they had more rights the witches had better what do you make of that I mean what's the risk your betsy for the gop to kind of have this narrative floating out there between the regicide the is it is not a king yet his defenders making reference to him being king others are calling this a coup now you got mayor Guiliani or former mayor Droopy Giuliani talking about which is for the duration of his time serving as president's personal outside counsel Giuliani over and over and over has said things publicly that have undermined the legal arguments he's trying to make in defense of the president who can forget the moment when he made the bombs dell admission about the president paying off porn star Stormy Daniels in the final weeks of the presidential campaign on Sean Hannity's Fox News Show Giuliani creates the most problems for his client when he's in a setting that he feels to be friendly and no one on Capitol Hill is going to make Giuliani feel more laxed than Lindsey Graham the Republican chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee who is incredibly close with trump who hangs out with him engulfs with all the time Giuliani sitting down in grams a committee room is perhaps the most perilous moment of the impeachment process for trump? Hey today the California Congressman Roque Hana telling Holly Jackson the Democrats need to move forward with the vote listen to this here's the reality we can't count on the White House we can't count on the course they want to delay this we need to move forward we need to look at what evidence we have make the best effort make the case and have a vote on the articles of impeachment what's the what's the play here you think Matt should they go ahead and actually hold hold a vote have a vote on impeachment knowing that the White House is going to stall this and if as you were saying this could delay in

President, Donald Trump And Don Mcgann discussed on Clark Howard
"Special counsel. Robert Muller said if we had confidence after a thorough investigation of the facts that the president clearly did not commit obstruction of Justice. We would so state mother said we are unable to reach that judgment. The report was more definitive about collusion despite finding hundreds of contacts between the Trump campaign and the Russians were joined now by three members of the ABC news investigative team. Chris Vlasto Johnson Tucci in Matt Moscow. Matt let's start with you. If I could numerous links, the report said between Russia and those in the Trump orbit, but insufficient evidence to support a criminal charge. Yeah. I mean, you just nailed it. Basically, there is no legal charge of collusion. And the attorney general came out this morning and told the world that there was no legal finding of criminal activity. In terms of conspiracy or coordination between Russians and the Trump campaign. But this is hundreds of pages of detailed examples of what I think the average person might consider something close to collusion. A lot of conversation. A lot of discussion between Russian agents seeking to influence the election seeking to help the Trump campaign and eager and willing followers from the Trump campaign who wanted to get that help or certainly didn't turn it away. So I think in that way, even though it was not a criminal indictment of the president. It was an indictment of him in some respects Matha contacts involve business, it involved campaign dirt it involved a scope of of different connections that it appeared the Russians were trying to make with associates of the Trump campaign if nothing. Was there an incident or two that was outlined that stuck out to you as as either particularly noteworthy or particularly damning, I think one thing that stood out as particularly noteworthy were comments from Michael Flynn who was one of the one of candidate trumps close to closest advisers, and who went into the White House for a brief period who said that the president was aggressive in his desire for the campaign team to find Hillary Clinton's missing thirty thousand emails, and that the people working on the campaign and Flint among them responded to that that they actually went in various ways in pursuit of Hillary's emails. And so it's not a distant leap to go from from there to what ultimately happened, which is the hacking of of the. Allies to the Clintons and the Democratic National Committee. John lemme ask you to even as the the the the president has for the last couple of years called everything fake news. The the the way the report outlines some of what the president has said or done. Everything seems true everything that's been reported or that was at least suspected seems to be validated by by the report. So how is the president going to be responding? Well, listen, I mean, anybody that's covered. Donald Trump knows that the two words fake news or not gonna leave his vernacular. But the reality is, you're totally right. I mean, you you go through the scenarios that we were hearing over the course of the last two plus years at Donald Trump has been inside the Oval Office and the conversations that he was having with some of his top aides and some of his former aides about trying to remove Jeff Sessions multiple times. Trying to remove special counsel, Robert Muller things that we were reporting and tracking are all laid out in black and white based on interviews at the special counsel headed with many witnesses over the last twenty two months of his investigation, specifically, Erin, I think the amount of conversations that are detailed that the president had with his then White House counsel, Don Mcgann, trying to fire Jeff Sessions trying to fire special counsel, Robert Muller of the president reacting in one of the of reports details to a report in the New York Times that references a conversation. The president had what Mcgann about firing Robert Muller president. According to this report sees that story in the New York Times and demands that Don Mcgann gets out there and says that that's not true. The Don Mcgann, apparently shoots back. We'll that would be lying, sir. And you know, the president calls down Mcgann, quote, allying bastard. I mean, you just really get that inside fly on the wall feel from this report of what was happening in the Oval Office during some of these tense moments that we were reporting out in real time. Are they're going to be any repercussions. We had heard that a number of aides to the president or or Republicans in Trump's orbit generally were a little nervous. Not because of what the content was going to reveal. But because the report was going to reveal that they had said it about the president. Listen, I think that Donald Trump is going to take away from this report what he wants, right? So we know that as far as collusion he is taking that as a complete and total victory will he know what some of his aides said about him. Sure. But at the same time, you know, the president put everyone out there to cooperate. This White House did not push back on anybody going in for interviews. They didn't stop a handover of documents almost one point two million. We've heard that numerous times from Rudy Julie. Johny? But you know, I think the people that were nervous about this. And we did hear some of that reporting as you mentioned over the last couple of days are people that frankly, my understanding don't really have a relationship with the president anymore done Mcgann has no ongoing relationship with the president or his inner circle. Other people that told the truth and and good spelled out there like Corey Lindau sqi e details the conversation with the president with the president asked him to go deliver. A message to Jeff Sessions Lewin, douse key is one of the president's most trusted advisers. He still travels with the president today on board Air Force One. And I do not expect that to change chris'll returned to you. What's the portrait of the president that's painted by this report, even absent a criminal charge or or the specter of a criminal charge? What did we learn from this report about Donald Trump? Well, I think it it. We learn the the worst part for Donald Trump is back. The mount of lies the sheer volume of lies. He lies to the press. All the time. He lies in tweets. He gets back wrong, the Washington Post, but to have a prosecutor detailed in such a way that may be the lingering effect of this. And I I know that the Democrats the leadership is saying that there's they're not going to impeach. And I think because they learn the lesson of Bill Clinton. But the reason they put I think they're hoping for the Democrats is that when people go to the polls two years from now they're gonna look at this amount of deception and lying, and that's going to be a problem for the president. I know he thinks that the base is ninety percent behind him. But that but this portrait of the consistency. The disregard for the truth. That's a hard thing to overcome when? It's going to live now for history in black and white. I think late at night when he's sitting at home tonight in mar-a-lago. He's going to be wondering this is my this is my portrait this is what I will live in history forever. And I think the quote out of that he knew it when he said when the appointment with the think sessions, and he used an expletive and said, my presidency is expletive. He knew what this meant. He knew what this legacy is going to be whether it's going to bog him down, and he can't do the job. But now he's going to have to live with this for the next two years in terms of crisis communications crisis. PR it's hard to argue this as anything, but a masterful performance given the volume of bad facts that are stacked up in this report he has managed to blunt most of that most of what we saw here we already knew about. And so it's very easy for. For Trump and his allies to say this all feels old and there because there's no criminal charge. That is at the end of this. It's also easy for him to say that it ultimately bore no fruit yet, we see four hundred plus pages of of of an outcome, but to the general public it's hard to know how they'll take away from it. Matt moss. Chris Vlasto Johnson chief from the ABC news investigative unit. President Trump actually said nothing publicly after the reports released but took to his preferred medium Twitter to restate what has been his mantra all along quote. I had the right to end the whole witch on if

I just thought the time he was just a little odd little random, okay? Onto a vodka Trump you on Twitter. Trump tweeting out the his foes behind bars. We'll get into that coming up here. Let me let me do that quickly before we get into a vodka Walla. Matt let let me just get into that. And again, I mean, listen, we've we've got a president that uses Twitter. A there's a great level of communication. I I you can't deny that the press access the president. I mean answers more questions of the media than I can ever recall Bama answering or or even George W Bush or or whomever, but the president also today. I gotta be I I laughed. The president tweeted out or re tweeted this this Twitter Meam by a Twitter account called the Trump train. And the the headline on the graphic was now that Russia collusion is a proven lie when did the trials begin and? Behind bars, we have Barack Obama. But it's a different kind of president, folks. No doubt about it. He proves it a lot. I'd onto a vodka. And this is the audio clip. Let me play the audio club. I and this is not going to take long. Now. This is pretty pretty quick actually. So I daughter Ivanka was interviewed chews up in Iowa. It was some kind of an education event, and she did an interview with ABC news and was asked about her use her private Email us early on. I was about seven months or so in the beginning of the Trump administration. And this is how a Vonk Trump answered the question to ABC news. All of my emails that relate to any form of government work, which was mainly scheduling, and logistics, and and managing the fact that I have a home life and work life. And of course, the equivalency is the comparison being made to Hillary Clinton. And I'll tell you right now. My verdict. My ruling Vonk is one hundred percent, right. I don't know how you even remotely draw any equivalency. All the emails and show pointed out, I believe in the clip all the Email was preserved with Hillary Clinton. You add some classified material that was taken off of the department of state intranet and then copied and then sent outside of the internet in to her private Email, some classified material so just be one classified material would get somebody fired and charged and maybe even Leavenworth and Hillary had numerous class fight emails, the private server the deletion of the missing thirty three thousand emails bleach bit. I mean deliberately destroying and wiping. I in no way, can you compare what a Vonk again, the optics weren't great. But not even remotely close to what Hillary Clinton did. Are all part of the public record. They're all stored on the White House system. So everything has been preserved. Everything's been archived. There just is no quivalent between.

"This issue, someone in your family is facing it or maybe it's a friend extended family, whatever the case may be there specialists of this. They really get it. And they know what they're doing. All right, Matt. Let's talk about protecting this child or this adult as we move forward here. Right. Well in our carriers. We put together this team to take care of all the planning needs. You've got the. The attorney the financial advisor the benefits expert, and they're you know, there's many other individuals that are helping us through this process. But the biggest thing is to make sure that we're protecting those benefits for that. The government benefits. That's correct. Local and federal tech those benefits that is so important you know for individuals with disabilities. They can only have two thousand dollars really at any given time to remain eligible for those benefits. Are you serious two thousand dollars? We have such a generous government, really. So you see the importance with that? I mean, protecting those benefits and that doesn't mean just I mean from the financial advisory in part performed the from the attorney in the legal documents. You have to protect Venice a how how in the name of God, do you do that? Well, it's all about the planning and getting the team together. So when we talk about the legal aspects, and you talk about the attorneys, we already talked about the changing states and all the different rules and laws and regulations that come with your resume your residents state changes. So it is very important to get a qualified attorney an estate planning attorney. But one that deals specifically with special needs because one of the planning tools that is used commonly is what we call a special needs trust to make sure that that special needs trust is set up and not only set up, but is it funded? We find a lot of times that when we meet with families that they have done a lot of the legal documents and have put those together, but that trust may not be funded going to be much good. If it doesn't have any money at it. The bigger question is how much okay how much needs to go into it? Right. And that goes right back to the vision from today to ten years from now is what you're talking about. Yes. Well until you that child passes away. Yeah. It's not just what is going to be today. What is it going to be ten years? There wasn't going to be twenty years now. Whatever the on and on right, right? So so again, and then and protecting those benefits you've got to trust planning the financial advising. And then you also have that benefits expert as these rules change, you know, something's going to change. If you've got a family that has a special needs child. It's one years old. And I mean just think of the years and all the changes that may occur over that child's lifetime. Oh, I mean. Yeah. The government. These government programs are constantly being manipulated change depending on who's in power and who's passing legislation all the rest of and and you're talking about three levels the benefits local benefits state, benefits and federal benefits. I got health insurance was bad that compared don't know the the level of complication here must be don't even want to think. Yeah. There was a recent study done nationally by an independent research organization, and the they surveyed over ten thousand needs families across the country and one of the number one concerns beyond the, you know, I'm fearful when I die what happens to my child. But one of the biggest concerns was how do I find all this information? Almost eighty percent of the parents said I have no idea where to go to navigate the government benefits just as its own topic. Let alone all the other things we've been talking about dot can't even imagine. You know? It's hard enough. Trying to explain how to navigate Medicare on a government website or or are now famous ObamaCare on a government website. Can't imagine what navigating this three different pieces of the puzzle must be like, I mean, it's got to be incredibly difficult. So having this team becomes critically important. It is it's very I gotta ask. Just out of curiosity. How what's the percentage of would you guess? A families that actually have all of this in place that has special needs children special needs adults. We'll carry out clients in twenty six states, and I've yet to meet a family that has every single box checked. Wow. That that's working with a family out of Pennsylvania right now who has a twenty million dollar net worth. And we there's a lot that has not been done. So it doesn't doesn't became difference. How much money you have or how much money you don't have. If you haven't got the planning done. It's relevant. It doesn't matter. Correct. Y'all got to have a plan. So so. Were were wrapping it up here. So kind of go back over just some basic pieces that are takeaways for people on this. So you need three people at the table estate planning attorney, and we can refer you to some here..

Matt let's get to this crazy rich Asia's going to dominate the box office again and that really helped the the season go out on a bang here because we're definitely now into the fall movie season but couple of things going on. I saw the trailer fort while the trailer. But the teaser for the none, and I'll tell you what you get nuns in a horror movie of watching that because it scares hell all you need now are like shark shark NATO's zombies. That's going to be the perfect hormone. Let's call it. What it is. This isn't exactly what the Catholic church needs, right? Nana? Let's just get that awkwardness out of the way we can't let the priests take all the heat. We gonna throw the nuns or the bus to. Let's give shelled spread the love here. Let's talk about the movie here in part of the conjuring film series, which have been hugely successful making a lot of money for Warner Brothers. And this is more or less a prequel, and they're they are projecting. This to be the number one movie this weekend with a forty seven to fifty two million dollars cake. Now that doesn't knock off still crazy rotations, which has still a ton of legs to it. And also the Meg, and what's really interesting is all three of these are Warner Brothers films and they're doing great five weekends in a row. There will be a Warner Brothers film at at number one. And you touched on an interesting point too with crazy rotations and ending the summer box office on a high note, you know, this was one of the most successful summer box offices in in years. I mean, it started with vendors war back in. April and that had people's head-scratching like, wait a minute. Not the start of summer. You know, what marvel as they? Usually do they throw out the rulebook and they plant the flag, and they say, you know, what let's start summer a couple of weeks early. Okay. Everybody else follow suit. And these were really good movies that came out this summer, you had vendors you Jurassic world, you had dead pool to you had a bunch of these, you know, tried and true, you know, big summer blockbusters, and then you had great movies running off of word of mouth like crazy, rich, Asians, goofy movies like the Meg popcorn entertainment people when you're going to spend the kind of money that we spend on a movie today, you want to be entertained. You wanna turn off your brain for a little while you want to see some big purple guy with an 0 gauntlet who could stop everyone out of existence. Spoiler alert, by the way. He's you know, that it's escapism. But it's also good screenwriting. It's good casting. And it's good directing to all. Right. Fair enough. I kind of like that. Also, I want to bring this up because of the ties of Cincinnati for you run out of time. That Neil Armstrong. There's it's a bio-pic. I man. That's yeah. But it's getting some heat what? Well, it's getting some heat. But it's also getting you know, let's put this out there too. It's also getting a ton of rave reviews. That's Ryan Gosling starring Neil Armstrong and the biotech I man and it had its debut at the Venice film festival last week. And they're saying, you know, this is probably the first, you know, buzzy Oscar film here, and they said that Gosling is outstanding. And Damian Chazelle is the director also directed him in LA La Land. And what the flap is about it concerns whole glory or the lack of old glory in a specific scene and that scene that we're talking about is the planting of the American flag on the moon by Armstrong. They don't show that moment in history. They showed the American flag on the moon. Plenty of times, I haven't seen the movie yet, it it releases wide, I believe next month. But that scene, you know, it's the all American moment. Right. Where is it and Buzz Aldrin? Second man on the moon. He tweeted out, you know, proud to be an American hashtag Apollo eleven and tweeted out those images on the moon. And then Senator Marco Rubio got into it. And said tweeted out, look, this is ridiculous. You know, this wasn't a UN mission. This was an American mission. So there's a little bit of a going on here. Damian Chazelle in an interview said, basically, look this movie is being told from Armstrong's perspective Armstrong's, personal thoughts and feelings on what they would have been, you know, from the get-go of signing up for this mission. Getting through the harrowing harrowing journey of getting to the moon landing there and everything. So it wasn't about so much as the American flag on the phone call with Nixon and all of that he wanted to focus on the more intimate moments. And right now, you know, let's all I think we should reserve judgment. And actually see this film and see what the deal is here. It'll play well in Cincinnati Cincinnati's opposed to Steve Gutenberg rebooting police academy. I don't even wanna talk about. Hey. Officer mahoney. Man wolf in New York. Always a pleasure, buddy. I is are you back next week Nathanson back. What are we doing? I like you better. Jason out somewhere off the big island. Where's the lava flow? Border but as NPR's Joel rose reports the government has also. Acknowledged that hundreds of families will not be reunited by the deadline federal officials say there are. Roughly nine hundred parents who cannot be reunified by. The deadline in about sixty cases the. Administration says that's because the parents have. Past criminal convictions but in more than four hundred cases it's because the parents. Are already out of the US either. Because they left, or were deported by. Day's end attention will shift to the hundreds of children whose parents, may have been deported Andrew how much time. We're unified parents in the US should have to decide if. "If you're thinking about some areas. To invest Matt matisyahu is a CEO of blue world asset managers in Chicago so Matt let's, start with spider recipe. Regional banking ETF which apparently is something. That you are looking Quite a bit of confidence absolutely it's great one individual stocks do well but with the availability of ATS we get really excited when whole sectors are set to do well in regional base continue to fit, that Bill we like them due to. Their focus on lending on the bed has demonstrated. Continued willingness to move the rave that's gonna benefit the regional banks from both consumer. And business lending points of view as the economy continues to advance we don't really think you. Can go along. In this space there are choices though when it comes to UT ups in the sector and as you mentioned we do still prefer the. Spiders symbol k. r. e. combination of reasons, including things like the number of holdings on the ETF the expense. Ratio and, their performance relative to other, ETF's in the, sector is this in part because to the Trade wars that we're seeing are they going to have less. Of an impact on smaller to mid sized companies that are sort of the, bread and butter of these regional banking operations yeah. That's an excellent point we certainly think so because the the targets. Business and target consumer lending profile, of these banks aren't really going to be directly hit by. Things that at that level so that's definitely one of our considerations now. Your second pick today, is the name that's very familiar to people in the Chicago area TC financial corporation simple TC CF it is of course a, twin cities based Bank but a lot of branches and presence here in Chicago what has you bullish on CF Well yeah we're this is kind of unusual for us. When we're on. The on the. New business our to double down on a sector, but it is a reflection of of just how excited. We are about it and TC Is a leader from the KRA index now, it is of course as you mentioned the symbol for TCI financial Corp. Which is, the holding company that owns the. TC banks and they offer the full menu of financial services to.
Next day of Thailand cave rescue
"Knx indepth now reach dave we dig deeper ask more questions tell you how the major stories of the day impact you mike simpson along with charles feldman put yourself in their place in the minds of these hungry probably frightened young boys and they're almost as young soccer coach trapped inside that cave in thailand to get out they must navigate dark murky twisting and treacherous passageways largely underwater and yet so far eight have been rescued but others remain and time is not on their side so we will go in depth with reporters on the scene in thailand and also shared you wrap your fob in foil before you answer that question i guarantee it we will later in international showdown on of all things breastfeeding babies pitted the us against most of the rest of the world so what's all the fuss about anyway we'll go indepth on that and what do you do when a seagull is drunk i don't know how we begin with cave rescue efforts ater out but five remain awaiting the next phase of the rescue joining us our cnn's international correspondent matt rivers who has been on the scene at the cave from the start and also nbc nightly news with lester holt's correspondent janice mackey freyer who was at the hospital where they're boys are in quarantine matt let's begin with you what is happening if anything now in terms of the rescue operation yes so basically the rescue operation has been suspended just temporarily similar to what we saw after the first rescue attempt there have been rescued ten sound it's been suspended basically for the divers do not always take a break but also prepare for the next time what has happened in that he is they have set up oxygen tanks all along the five kilometer route but these boys and expert divers have had to basically goes through on their way out and then only the main sure that's done safely as possible make put oxygen tanks all along that route well those of view we filled and so that's what's happening in the meantime so already at a press counseling bleep on monday evening here in northern thailand said that they needed about twenty hours or so at least in between operations to make sure that everything was in place to go in and get the remaining five people out so the plan and again i should say this is a very weird situation it could change it any point put the plan at least for now is for divers to go back in and try and get remaining five people in that came out sometime later today on tuesday year in thailand especially taking advantage of this action water levels is relatively low inside this cave in has it rained all that much considering its july and thailand started the rainy season so bottom line here is conditioned you're not gonna get really better than they are so now's the time to go get those people and they are expecting maybe some more rain to come through so they're kind of racing the clock here he is gonna be the same divers that rescue the other boys to go in because i imagine now they know some of these passageways so you want to send in the same people yeah i think they're going to try and follow protocol here that it's worked so miraculously well over the first two attempts so yes we are expecting you to be similar divers we know that they added a couple of divers on the second attempt to try and make things a bit smoother and from what we're told the second attempt to an even better than the first but really we we can't emphasize enough how dangerous potential the the the rescue did we saw a former thai navy actually his life before these attempts actually began died bringing oxygen to cave in professional diver who actually walks his life while putting oxygen inside there so he can lose his light you can imagine what a bunch of kids with no divy experience could be could be dealing with so that is the danger that they're facing here matt hang on and stay with us we want to go over.

"And matt let's start with the marquee matchup everybody's talking about it going back to the 80s the catholics versus the convicts miami and doter dame first time these two teams are playing ranked since 1995 time the both in the top and meeting up since 1989 what are you expecting from this game well i i think there's still a lot of folks in and understandably so when you haven't seen uh a team like miami play this well in a while and get off to a star like this and a long time you started to question and then wonder is this team legit and i think they answered some questions last week uh i think you know virginia tax offense is okay this is a completely different animal for with notre dame and i think with miami to you look at you know their previous match ups before reunion attack it by the skin of their teeth and finally we got to see them dominate last week i just wonder how their defensive line will hold up against this offense of front for notre dame notredame does what it wants to be knows what it is and uh i m my god says they go into to miami and and we in this game i don't know how handily they'll do it but um you know let's be honest about it what was your last week wants to very polished made some mistakes i don't think we're ginny tax offense is good enough to capitalize on those mistakes i think notre dame's is um i don't know how many uh how many times the uh the uh community food known as the turnover chain we'll be handed around the sidelined there for miami maybe once or twice but i just like with with notredame brings offense of wait i think i think noted amos get a is gonna get it done and even add some more uh some more chaos or possibility a casper the plateau while speaking of that playoff meet the irish people to keep waiting obviously they'll be one of the top teams be looked just outside.
