"You know all of these things and so It took me a while to learn because it is certainly not easy But I said I was going to have a chat with her so every Monday for my team. What we do is We have a mental health Monday. Check in with the lead team. Cfo The CEO and managers. That we get together on Monday morning and just talk about the weekend. How you doing how you feeling. How's Your Mom Dad? How the kids like how you really doing in how the people on your team doing anybody. You're excited for anybody. You're worried about and we just discuss how we can be of service to that person. Sometimes we talk business but if we don't get to the business at hand because there are all these other meetings during the week it's really just like a check in check in and so I think that's one of the things we do to how we built community is that we want the people. I want the people that work with me. I was not for me but with me. I want them to know that I actually care about them. Outside of the work they do. Oh Yes for sure I mean if you have a manager one of my my Our family members had a baby in February and she was telling me that she was she had asked permission from her boss got approved to work from home when she gets back to the city in June. And I'm like back Matt Leon Jeune and I said why did you even have to ask? Why was that a question that you felt nervous task? I mean if you've got managers out there like this is the time to stand up for yourself and go to HR and tell them. If you're not gain the flexibility that you need because I will be damned if anyone my team can say that they don't have a boss in me who understand that this is not normal. We cannot expect people parents especially to act business as usual now. It doesn't mean that we can't set goals but we have to be flexible and I was talking to my. I know I mentioned my therapist Lauren. Lot but she's been helping me. Give myself the same permission that I've given people on my team to you. Know to be flipped to give to move deadlines for myself. I moved them for everyone else but I wasn't moving for myself and you know it's just it you you. We all need to be patient with each other and whether you're managers apparent themselves or not it matters. How would the ages are? How many there are. What ABOUT THEIR SPOUSE? Is there a spouse helping you at home? If they're single. You know you need to know these things and and you need to open up and tell your manager. If you've been I understand some workplaces you you don't WanNa bring your personal life to the table but super like that's reality. We we all bring our personal baggage to work now and you need to tell your manager that they can be aware and hopefully. You're not penalized in any way for that I. I know I'm I'm fortunate to work for a company where it's not like that and some people may not be But I say if you're not getting what you need it's you've got to raise that up to HR whoever now tiffany. You think of an article that I read about tracking remote workers hours like a productivity APP or something. Have you talked about using that before? 'cause I've heard some companies are like these types of software becoming more popular and it's supposed to track how much time you spend at the computer or doing whatever task you're doing to me. This sounds awful awful and I would never ever use that. So what we do we use Asana which is just a Which is I love. Danica here so you know signs not like it doesn't track you it just it tracks that you've completed. Tasso that we can stay organized you. It's really an organizational tool where. I'm just like okay. Here's a project. We're working on literacy say. I remember the rollout of Mali more. It was like here the social posts here. Are you know the email that's GonNa you know? press release all those kind of things so that way we can track just trace as during that Logan soon this Cairns doing this Dun Dun Dun Dun but I would never ever ever because what doesn't make sense to me to be checking you minute by minute. Second by second it's counterproductive and I honestly don't have the time for that if I feel like you're not bringing your vessel. They know I always give them this speech that I haven't expectation of excellence that I'm not going to accept anything less than excellent for my team. Which doesn't mean perfection. It means that you're going to do your best. Even at your best is only in. The project has to be redone on with that. If you bring me your best and we realized you know what maybe making fliers isn't your strong. Let's figure out. What is your strong suit? Everybody on the team is amazing at everything. But that's the thing I look for like I want you to bring your best and if you bring your best you don't have to worry. That's one of the things we do like if it's take some people longer there's some people who are. Super Tech Savvy on the team and there's some people who are not but no matter however you show up at my expectation is you're going to bring your best and if you don't because I know we go above and beyond when it comes to our team if you don't bring your best to the table consistently that you can't stay here we will gently let you go. We've let people go over time where I know you have kids. So we'd like you to Kinda let you know and giving you up to three months to kind of adjust because there's no way I want a single mom who's out there struggling you know. Sometimes we let people go with like looking to when you find another job. Then that's what will face you out so we always let go with kindness But if you're not going to bring excellence to the table you can't stay here near dying to say right use use Milwaukee like thank God I can exceed away from that she is according to you. Don't touch me. I think he but hilarious before we go. I WanNa just mention like a mental health. Check in how are you doing? What are you doing? What did you do this weekend to make yourself? Would you do anything specialists begins? You have fun. Let's talk about something like that so it was the first weekend. I got to see my babies again. So my sister has two little ones Amelia is just turned three in Roman is turning slump. He's four but he's turning five so they're only eighteen months apart but Who you've been kind of like hiding them you know. Obviously because it's just been crazy out here but this weekend. She brought them by and they just got big. Boy Girl Bytes. No more tricycles in I got the front section. Just wash them right up and down the sidewalk like look at me. Look at me look at three and a four year old are writing like actual bikes well with the with the training wheels. So there's no yes they're not It's basically it's like a big a big tricycle set of just tricycle tricycles. So that was a slight so awesome. Because they're always my happy place My my niece and my nephew I have another nascent in Chicago. Also got the video chat with her so the kids are always my happy place so that was great. I've been doing daily walk which has been awesome in front of my Riana who lives around the corner. The one who did in my house We waited bunny or video boo button partners so she also has the best friend that we've been doing like a daily walk. I was walking by myself so today I I couldn't join them because She needed to walk earlier but like I tell myself every day now which I wasn't doing before which is so strained. I actually really like walking. Why don't you? I'm so busy I'm sorry. Ask Your boss. Oh that's right it's a girl. Go outside I'm like you're bugging typically so I make it like I. I didn't even really. I got the free Nike APP. That run at I walk three miles today without even thinking about it. Like I like listening to podcasts. I like Listening to you youtube. I love listening to just like. Sometimes I'll just be zoned out thinking about things but Yeah nothing super special. Just hanging out with the Fam- I saw my parents yesterday. Which was like Nice? You're expanding your bubble. That's like a new. You know I think I've been trying to figure out who's going to be the first people in our bubble. I think a lot of folks are because it's just this can't go on forever like it can't are Walea cannot she is foaming at the mouth when we talked to her now. Just death. Now the baby's eating solids and she could feed him if she wanted to die and I will I will I will wear him like a Like a like a bulletproof vest myself just like yes take him. He'll eat your. Oh that's great what about you what did you do to kind of? Give yourself a little cheer. What well we are starting to feel like weekends again which is nice. Even though I ended up working Sunday Nights It's fine what did I to this weekend. I very small things. I got a new book. Finally I got some Nail Polish in the mail that I finally That I ordered with. I'M GONNA I didn't actually do it but it was made me feel good to have it. Look at something pretty even though when it just became like. I was too tired to end up doing it. I Deep condition my hair. Which hasn't happened in months and months and months and that was nice. Rio gave me a nice long nap so I could do that. And let's see we grilled. Oh we grilled some talks. We grow some hotdogs and molly's entire life was made in an instant when my husband dropped one on the ground hotton and hot off the grill. She paid for it and so did we because we had to watch her vomit because she sucked it down so fast and the whole night. I had just sit outside all. That's what I was doing. I was painting. I like a Watercolor Pencil Set and I was just whatever I was. Just doodling and I just was on molly watching her vomit up and then consume and then it that hot dog it was real real neat about self care I at least it was outside and not as house. Yes of course. What book did you got a new book to book? Did you get? I got to new Lashley. I ordered about five but this one that came called Pachinko which is about it covers. I believe it covers four generations of the Japanese family. And it's kind of like it reminds me of home going by Yossi which I loved read home going. And it's just the premise of it That's very different book. But it's also you know how one family at the beginning of slavery led to to You know how their actions led to so many generations ahead of them you know the ripple effect and this is a similar premise. Only that it's a Japanese immigrant family. I got on my team because I I've been talking about. I Love Simon Sinek. If you've never watched his Ted Talk Tedtalk you should. I got start with why so..

"Back. Here's adulting like mother father yet they were also lavishing so much fun stuff. All of the nickelodeon parties only got all of the weird phase. Remember they had like Sushi. These bring coffee trucks Sushi. Oh Yeah Yeah Yeah for. Virginity are victorious We have corn beef cabbage Marineland. This is hysterical because my actual I don't remember so much the food I do remember some like meals like when they brought in Mediterranean. I was like Oh my gosh. This is the most Hamas I've ever seen in my life. This is cold but there are other times where I don't know. Liz will hate me for sharing this but there was a time where we listen. I went into the office to go talk to Robin Weiner about the food being not very like healthy friendlier like Vegan friendly and how listen I wear literally like looking for things to eat like we would run because I could drive right and so I would go to like an cafe that was fairly close? Try to get some more on a lunch break to get food and it was just such a headache. I'm like this is thing but no I mean. It's great superior religious only eating Broccoli and mashed potatoes. I mean we went through so many weird food phases. I feel like between Armenian and Liz. I mean we. We were all on the East Coast during. I think it was two thousand and ten or two dozen eleven the Christmas Hanukkah time and we invited the Thomases Leon's family. Oh Yeah and the Gillies over and we had Hannukah dinner. Like the guest of Victoria's and Liz was like an leading Broccoli at us. My mom had to prepare her special rock mashed potatoes. But I feel like these. Were like tiny little stints. You know what I mean because listen I would grub like we would go to. I can think of like M. Cafe or we would go to like some other like Vegan spot nearby and we all cupcakes and like we did not hold back her and I were. Were major little foodies together. Those were the days of sprinkles cupcakes wrinkle and endless sprinkles cupcakes from the guerande family and like Edible arrangements I remember edible arrangements to the classroom oliver dressing rooms on the east side of Nick. So you got you probably never remembered like member where my dressing room is okay. So mine was on the same floor in the same wing as Victoria and Evan and wardrobe hub and then the other kids were like on other wing. Which is like Matt? Leon Liz Ari and then the school hub. Okay and so we were like we were like in like sorority houses. Guys were just. It was more serious over there. It was I was the business side because we could be loud. Nobody would hear us and they they also had. Tv's so we would all like that. We're live broadcasting. But they were taping right then. We would watch from the classroom in a comment or crack jokes. Always respectful but we'd be there videos like we used to shoot stuff we have. We have a youtube channel. We are stupid policy having fun and cracking up Oh the memories. Oh the memories. Only Gosh so like we didn't. I really did not know how good we add it. It's funny because you think that it's going to be this steady like Oh this is just the beginning. So it's GonNa be Great. Oh no this is there. Were years of you know damn putting in all of this work you know to get to the point where we were being lavished. There's so many hit shows before us that led to the place we got to and all of a sudden. You know we've all had to do those you know Guest Star Roles. One day where we're basically cog in this machine and it feels so it feels so weird and raw and also naked. 'cause it's this process with new. I don't know what you're doing. You don't know the rhythm I was. I have great time. I did this. Episode of Grey's Anatomy and I never watched the show so I tried to watch the first episode and it was really key you know like romantic comedies slash dramas set at a hospital and I flashed for fourteen seasons in it. Was everybody crying. There's glitter all over the place. It was just this big gaudy shows. I didn't know what the tone I didn't know how shifted over the years and ended up being really fun but it just was so so weird you know being in this new scenario where they move fast. Fourteen seasons in. They have shorthand. And you have to make sure that you don't. You're not the weakest link you'd have to go with the flow. Your so yeah. I don't know what I was trying. Get OUT NO. I love it. It's it's off my gosh. It feels like it's been literally ages since I've ever acted in front of a movie in fact me in front of a camera. The last time I did anything. You're going to die but it was with Andrew. No Not Baby Daddy. We did this like little comedy in Hawaii. It's a surfer movie. And they offered it to him and I together but as a cameo was like a small role he went to come out and I don't think is it going to be all it was while I was pregnant. The whole thing was as they just needed a couple who is on a baby moon essentially so I was pregnant. I wasn't working so it was like honestly we love Hawaii. Let's go and so he we win and he's never acted in his life so for him like hearing you say like. Oh they have it down like I feel like that would be terrifying for someone who's never been in the world before sure you know you walk onto a set and you're like you're not only the Newbie but now like there's such a fast paced like rhythm and you're just like out of sorts coming off some other show That's acting classes and doing all this. The main thing that it teaches you how to act but how to be professional. And it's real. There's such a fine line you know. I see so many young actors who and we have a lot on victorious knocking the name names but people who talked out of burn or didn't understand kind of rhythms and the analyst hierarchy. But just how to handle yourself or for a parent how to handle yourself on a professional set where there's not there's hundreds of thousands if not millions of dollars play and we're all there. It's it's a lot of fun but were there to get this job done. And it's how to take notes without getting a personally offended You're there to fit this mold. You're there to fit this character and you bring something interesting to the character but there are so many ways that you could mess it up and get your head about it. It's it's knowing how to maintain your emotions on a set in such interesting thing. I don't know why I got on that. Tangent but Andrew I can't wait to watch cameo adulation please don't no no. It's just I. I love that you said that because I think for anyone who's not in the industry or hasn't been exposed to it one way or another has some sort of like idea of how it works and that it's all very rainbows and sunshine and just fun. And everyone's doting on you and all the things and like in reality when you're in that situation. Yeah maybe they might be asking like hey. Do you need a water? Do you need a ten or whatever but like you're like I all? I'm never super comfortable on a set. I never feel like I can totally no not that you may think I am. I'm sure like you on the outside can look like oh. I'm GonNa just sit into this. I know how this all goes. But every single. Run through victorious. I was nervous. Really run. Throughs were so fun victorious. I was never really nervous. It always was that was just so fun venturing outside and try new things when I did Big Bang theory. That was my first time doing it in front of an audience. In a victorious. We're not spoiling anything but We did not in front of a live. Audience was a laugh track. So yeah being in front and having to do your comedy having to do your work in front of people who decide if liver died basically telling me to call the people by Lax. Sounds up or thumbs down. It's a completely different experience. And that's that was really nerve wracking on being in single camera. I'm really comfortable in Multi Cam. But you know there's somebody different funny and I. I don't know if little before saying this. But she taught me how to not look ugly on Camera. Like she's like she's very in tune with like what faces. She doesn't like that. She makes as she's kind of coached me through a couple of times where a watch something from season one where you're just being big because we have no idea how the show is. GonNa look it's so out of our hands down of everybody's hand decides the Director Editor. You know how something is going to look at how something is going to play so we were just going as big as we could and fight yet because we were what we shut like. Eight seventeen of the twenty episodes before you the first one aired sat rain. I think so. Yeah I watch it and I'm like Oh my God like what am I doing? We scaled it back and sees a two season and watch them like. Oh that was really cool. That seals reeler. But I want to give you compliment the only two people who I never felt founded in on victorious reunion. Leon I always feel like your performances were the most consistent. Wow thanks you. You're welcome appreciate Yeah I mean I don't know I guess yeah. I think it's just I came from. I was older obviously and also I had only experienced multi cam in front of an audience. So I think I I. I don't know I think it's just all came down to like putting pressure on myself feeling older and feeling like I just wanted to always protect myself. Because I've seen so many shows come and go and I'd been on some that like had come and went so fast and you didn't even get to get your bearings and it sucked so I don't know what they wrote really good stuff for. Trina and I don't think I don't think anybody else could have done that. Role it's you're just so funny in it 'cause I've now now that's on net flex and quarantine is what it is. I've gone mean not actively but yeah. You know recommends that Timmy. So actively you know it'll tell something episode and it's funny because when we used to do run throughs I would just I would watch 'cause I had a scene I would go and I would react as my lines because we had a you know everybody in the entire production coming watching. I didn't want to be a slang so I went and I would practice so the only time I ever really. Sawn episode in its entirety was at the table. So I'm going back in like wait. Why did Victoria have like buried juice dripping from her head you remember that episode and I watched it like a like a thousand Barry Balls? That's what it was called the episode. I don't even remember that episode right. So it's on Netflix. Watch it and I'm like. Oh yeah that's why that happened so on and I'll be seeing something for the first time again and I'm just so impressed with you. Leon because really I feel like you've got some episodes. You could have done better math you could like. I definitely didn't rise to the exposition next position for people at home at home meaning Giving background or helping move the plot forward not particularly interesting line. Like if someone's like yeah we gotta get all these letters so that cashew will come into a private concert. Nobody actually speak like that. That's exposition the as as we got all the screen because ice cream have letters at the bottom and they start cash. And if you've got all the cash and letters and she'll do a concert that's just it's boring but it's extras and you're setting somebody up to then all that ice cream. Reassure you need that. Like what do you call me fat like.

"Tom Brady and drew. Drew brees have been better with a minimum of Twenty Home Games and in those twenty games whence has thrown forty touchdowns eight interceptions and has a one zero two point two passer passer rating on the defensive side. The defense has given up just sixteen point one points per game at home this year the best of any team in the NFL they've also allowed the fifth fewest points per game in the NFL from weeks. Eight through seventeen eighteen point seven per game and have allowed seventeen or fewer points in seven of their last nine games they also ranked first in. NFL defensive three and out percentage overall this season. which is? I had no idea about that because it seems like every time the Eagles score the Eagles situationally situationally allow teams to go right back down the field but Obviously getting some of those three announced after a score is what they've been doing over the last couple of weeks that Saquon Barkley run. Notwithstanding the eagles offense is third in red zone touchdown efficiency fourth in third down conversion rates of two areas where they have to be successful on Sunday is continuing to convert red zone red zone opportunities into touchdowns and to continue to convert third down conversions. That's critical for this team. Because they're not gonna hit the big play but over. It's worked over the last four weeks. They've had at least four hundred yards of offense in every game the last four weeks in a row for just the second in time in team history four Seattle. They were very good on the road this year at seven in one and Russell Wilson ranked third in the NFL. In passing touchdowns six and touchdown down percentage and was PFM highest rated passer this season. He threw five interceptions overall. That's why he's a scary dude. He did fumble eight times not Carson Carson levels of fumbles but also not very good but he got lucky. You only lost two fumbles this season. I think this game is going to be one along. The Eagles Defensive Line Seattle's pass protection ranked just twenty four th according to football outsiders. ESPN's pass block win rate model. Had them at twenty eight in the NFL. Only only two quarterbacks were hit more than Wilson this year and back a couple of weeks ago and the Eagles in Seahawks last played each other they had the eagles had five sacks and eleven eleven. QB Hits Against Russell Wilson in week. Eleven Malcolm Jenkins was a terror for Russell. Wilson hit him four times basically acting as kind of a pseudo spy I against him. So we'll see if If Jim Schwartz goes that route again the eagles in that game in week eleven also turn the ball over five times themselves with two interceptions options by Winston what was easily his worst game of the year. I really don't think the eagles are GONNA turn the ball over five times again when Peterson. They've just found this symbiotic biotic rhythm that they had been looking for since the two thousand seventeen season when playing within the within the offensive. They figured out how to use the running backs and tight ends defectively and how they've getting just enough out of their practice squad ride receivers to make this work. We'll see what their health looks like over the next couple of days. Doug Peterson on Friday. Said Lane Johnson is is really pushing to play. I think there's a good chance he plays. They're Zakar has still not been cleared for contact but he is going to try and give it a shot. I'm less confident about being able to play in this game. I'm miles sanders. Appears like he's going to be ready to go on Sunday afternoon again. which would be absolutely huge so of all the opponents? The Eagles could have welcomed into Philadelphia. This Sunday they afternoon Seattle. I think was the best opponent. They are beaten up one dimensional squad. They're not GONNA be able to run the ball a whole lot with marshawn lynch with with marshawn Lynch back back there. I know I know Travis homer ran ten times for sixty two yards and six point two average and you know he's looks like shifty little back but the eagles handle the running game and I think they'll handle the Seattle running game with Rashad Penny not in there and here's the stat. LG put out. That I think is a really important stat since two two thousand Sixteen Pete Carroll has faced an opponent twice in the same season fourteen times in the second end the back end of those games. He's four for and ten against teams when they've had a second shot against him including Oh into in the playoffs. I think Doug Peterson is going to out coach. Pete Carroll Darrelle in this game I think the eagles are going to get revenge for that seventeen to nine loss. I think it's incredibly difficult for a west coast team to fly to the East Coast and beat a team twice voice in the same season doing that especially when they are as beat up in one dimensional as Seattle is. I think this will be a close game. 'cause obviously the eagles have issues of their own but they are riding a wave that that I don't see ending on Sunday afternoon so I've got the Eagles beating Seattle Twenty seven to twenty three and folks that'll do it for this special episode of Bgn Radio My thanks to Matt Leon John for coming on the podcast and just a reminder for you guys to please leave ratings and reviews as told you your ratings and reviews are directly proportional to whether or not the Eagles win football all games so you need to give us those five star ratings..

"The giants and you know Brandon Graham made a ton of I mean he always makes it Kinda plays but They're in a good spot right now. It's confidence and what you mentioned the tackling. That's another thing that you know. They're getting guys to the ground. You know even when guys make plays you tip your hat. The other team practices to but twenty are plays or staying twenty yard. Plays or not turning into forty are plays which we saw a lot of earlier in the season. You're GONNA the need the secondary to step up and one of the big thing and I don't WanNa put too much on a handful of plays but in my opinion the problem or I shouldn't say my opinion. It would seem seen that the situation Sidney Jones is more a situation from the neck up than it is skill set because this is a kid that can play. He's all the way back from the injury or he could play in college. Everyone agreed he was the first round talent but it seems like he can get out of his own head and there's amazing as it was a couple of times he was putting the game and you know cold and made played. You GotTA imagine that twitched. His confidence level high. He made a couple more plays against the giants and a bigger role. And if all of a sudden you can start to get to Sidney Jones that they drafted and and he starts making plays like that. All of a sudden things look a lot different. I thought we're still douglas as as maddening is. It is that he doesn't turn around. Look for the but the the coverage was good. You know Even on the touchdown tate. It'd be turned around. He's probably able to knock it down. Yeah you mentioned Jim Swartz. They seem like they're different now. They get home now. That was another thing in the middle of the season when they had these games that were difficult to watch they just never seem to get home like watch other teams blitz and other quarterb and and went to throw it away or netplay was blown up eagles with blitz. And it didn't seem to make a difference sprint and that has changed I it goes along. You know it ever. Since that time against the giants they lose the game to the dolphins they come yeah. They look terrible in the first half against the giants. And you're like I can't believe this is happening. I can't believe that this is going to go out like this completely different team since that halftime. It's absolutely incredible. And it's both sides talked at length about the the offensive changes the thing with the defendthem the thing that was more maddening about the defense. You could sit here. And as bad as the offense played in October and November. You could say well you know what though to be fair guys banged up. They've got you know the guys that are are healthy and then all of a sudden they go by and they come back. Can you guys miss a game like you know. Only offense aside. The thing that was maddening was defense was pretty helpful. Yeah yeah well for this point in the season you had most of the guys that you would want out there and they weren't getting it done and now all of a sudden it's a totally different story. You mentioned that the fee now the pass asked Russia looks ferocious and they're getting big negative trump plays and getting some guys playing with confidence in the secondary. And it's fun to watch and I don't see any reason why won't continue on Sunday. You know that you you're right. That's the all offensive. It's of line is an issue. It's beat up. They should be able to take advantage of it if they can keep. Russell Wilson Keep Campaign and You know keep an and put pressure on him. I like their chances. I mean that place is GonNa be zoo on Sundays and it's going to be you know the eagles also also the ability. You know what another thing. That's amazing when you look at the mosaic. The painting the the the the thirty thousand foot view of the Doug Peterson era. He's here's managed to get this team to the Super Bowl. Excuse me to the playoffs three times and the Super Bowl and every time they go into the postseason it feels. They're playing with house money. which is incredible? When you think about it yeah there underdog again they are underdogs coming into this game? It's unbelievable I think. This is the sixth playoff playoff game. And Doug Peterson career that the Philadelphia Eagles enter as underdogs therefore in one of those games by the way yeah and the one that they lost they had a fourteen up and lead. You'd like they're right there and all of them. But I mean just as an aside and kind of going like when you think about that Super Bowl here. In the fact that this franchise with the baggage this franchise has had to be able to make that super bowl run and every step be able to play the underdog card and and be able to play free and easy and not have and not collapsed under eighty years of of struggles and not winning a super bowl and stuff like that. It's it's really incredible and then last year they're able to go into the play offs. And Hey basically happy to be here and it's even more so this year that you know this is a team. People people were people were calling for Doug to get fired yeah Thanksgiving yeah December and now people are upset that he's not happy. He's only in the top three coach of the year on some people's lists It it's truly remarkable. It's a credit to the job. He he does that he constantly gets. What's his record in December of the regular? I think it's got like fourteen into twelve and one I I mean I think over the last three seasons. He's twelve and one in December as whatever what is and I apologize for not being better prepared. But what was the I heard a number Indus. He's coached something like ten or eleven games where it's win or go home and his record record or something like ten in one like yet asked incredible the only winner go home game. That you know is in New Orleans last year New Orleans you know you think all these Games James Obviously play offs. Are you know one game season but all these games in the regular season the last couple of years where they lose the season's over and they constantly did we answer the bell. It's a testament to how he keeps the locker room together and guys play for him and it's really he really something now that you Kinda put these seasons together as frustrating as the middle of the last two years have been when at times. It's really felt like the bottoms dropped. Dropped out of the whole thing You almost give them more credit because it easily could have gone really bad. Oh yeah you know. He studies the ship. The guys is believing him. They respond to him and now they're playing a playoff game at home on Sunday and there's a good chance they can win it. I will let me we get your prediction here as we get ready for Sunday afternoon. Eagles hosting the SEAHAWKS What's your prediction? How do you see this one shaken out man? I think it's tight I think take either team is ever more than possession from each other But I think the Eagles Win Twenty four twenty one. I liked that score. I'm I'm feeling it. I'm feeling a similar vibe. I'M GONNA give my prediction in just a minute. But before I let you go breaking news as we are recording this podcast here on Thursday night. The cowboys have officially officially let Jason Garrett go he will not be part of the organization. Moving forward has according to ESPN's Edward or so Jerry Jones and executive the Vice President Steven Jones have decided that Jason Garrett will no longer be a part of the organization. Our old friend Jason Carrot. We won't have to kick around Anymore Matt but What are your thoughts on Jason Garrett? Moving on and the cowboys are now looking for another coach I'm kind of I mean. You probably could've made this argument. That should have been done four or five six years ago when early on when you started your discussion you talked about point differential and how Seattle was actually negative at one point in the San Francisco Game One of the most amazing stats this year. Dallas finished eight and eight point. Differential was a plus one thirteen. Yeah I it was. Yeah it was something like the only team over a hundred point differential to not have a winning record in. NFL history is like one hundred and sixty four teams in NFL. History had a point differential over one hundred. All of them had winning records. Except the cowboys. No hard is that to do and like I look at the standings on Monday because I was so so fascinated by this. They were like plus one hundred thirteen to give people some real context the saints were like a hundred plus one hundred. and Seventeen like Varanasi point differential orential is in the same ballpark is at and they're thirteen. And three and you have to work really hard outscored your opponents overall by one hundred points and finish five hundred like that is really amazing. And you know that's Probab- that's I would think that's Kinda the Jason Garrett in a nutshell when everything's going great and they're playing teams that they're just physically better than that's fine but anytime there's any kind of a tough game you know the the they didn't have the stomach for so now you look around and the and one of the interesting things now with this news and Doug. Peterson has got to be facing all new coaches. EMC each next year. That's crazy. It really really is crazy. And you know when you think about how far Doug has come and how far the rest of the division has fallen. Allan thank goodness we we play in the NFC. Although I do look forward to a time when the rest of the NFC East is good again. You know it was really fun to play the redskins and the giants and the cowboys. "I mean they are getting a couple of balls here in their down on the field and Carson Wentz doing an amazing job trusting. Some of these guys the Burnett down deep down the field for some of these plays but the screen game has really been a big part of this yes and if miles sanders isn't too negatively affected. Running the football with his low ankle sprain and he still has that burst running the football it gives them so much versatility because because you can have any of those guys on the field anytime in the defense has no idea whether a running play is coming or a passing play is coming in. I think I think that's a big key to this game on Sunday. Is they even though. The personnel is is lesser. You don't have specific personnel for specific types of plays whereas with Seattle. You know that that if marshawn Lynch is on the field they're running the football you know there's certain there's certain personnel groupings that if you know they're on the field something is going to happen. Oh yeah absolutely. And I I'm just constantly amazed watching what how versatile the eagles offense has become. And it's really amazing. How they gotten better as they had the plug in younger unproven unproven guys? Because I think if I would've told you heck on Halloween that the eagles were going to go into a must-win game in December over and three of your four top weapons. WE'RE GOING TO BE BOSTON. Scott Greg Ward Josh Perkins you would think that you know the everything had fallen apart but it's really one of the things that's amazing is they. I mean my hi Opinion Greg words a slot guy next year. I don't even I think he's proven he's exactly what you wanted and underneath receiver. And he's going to cost you. Nothing Boston Scott is the new. Darren sproles I'm not saying he's as good as but you know what I'm saying that role that I don't see you look no further so all of a sudden he is meant to me. He's Corey Clement. He's Corey Clement. was in two thousand seventeen. I think I think that's A. That's a really good comparison between those two guys. He's giving eating the eagles right now. What Cory Clemente gave them in? Two thousand seventeen. Yeah and when you think I'm very torn with these guys emergence urgence because on one hand you give them a lot of credit for coaching these guys up and and getting them ready to play but then on the other hand. There's a party that's like why in the world to keep bringing Jordan Mathews back if Greg Ward had this in him and they they seen him for months. And why would you. You know. Waste carries on J. J. He if you've got Boston Scott but those are questions for a different day but when you look at you know what these guys are brought to the table. I think as much fun as it's been for this year I think these guys have also helped them fill some holes going going forward. That's GonNa make life a lot easier with the salary cap and and stuff like that but No they've they've become a very versatile offense or an offense that plays to their strength and their offense that looks completely different than it did a month and a half ago because if you remember how hard they had to work to move the ball You know most of that New England game though those Seattle game like you always waited for the other shoe to drop even when there was a good play that something bad was right around around the corner. Somebody who's GonNa drop a ball or you know I it's just I. It is absolutely amazing. The transition that this team has gone through specifically on the offensive subsided. The ball where you just I. It's just it's incredible now to where every time there was a tough place to be made. You expected the ball to be incomplete or something bad happened now. You're genuinely surprised when somebody doesn't come up with it because guys are making plays all over the place. Well let's step away and take a quick break when we come back. Let's flip sides and we'll talk about how the eagles defense is going to try to stop. Russell Wilson Aches. We'll do that up next to your on. BG Radio I'm Jillian. Weinberger hosted the impact podcast from. Vox about how powerful people affect the rest of us this season. We're looking at the big ideas from all the people people running for President in two thousand twenty hit this opioid crisis head on public option. move away from fossil fuel energy efficiency. And it's going to be a Great Wall and it's GonNa work. A lot of those ideas have actually been tried before like that. Wall trump wants to build the Gallus. Zona has had one on its border for decades. I don't understand why individual people have a right to have a fence and yet a country can't and Senator Warren's proposal to the OPIOID crisis it's based on what we did to fight the AIDS epidemic. We would like to name it the Ryan White Care Act and the green new deal. Germany tried something similar in two thousand. This solution this season on the impact. We have those stories. How the big ideas from twenty twenty candidates worked or didn't work in other places or at other times? These are the stories that will help us understand what might happen if these proposals. Let's get rolled out here in the next four years. Subscribe to the impact on Apple podcasts. Or your favorite podcast APP to get the first episode on Wednesday stage January eighth. So let's move over to the other side of the ball. Let's talk about the eagles defense against the Seattle offense an obviously Russell. Wilson scares the crap out of everybody. But you know there's just no way around. The Eagles have never beaten this guy. They have never never beaten the skype. And it's been an even longer time since they beat them in Philadelphia since nineteen ninety two. So I mean that's the George H W Bush administration the last time the the the eagles have beaten the seahawks in Philadelphia. These two teams have never played in the playoffs before so So that's pretty cool. This'll be the last. NFC team the eagles. I have never played in the in the playoffs and so kind of amazing that as many times as these two teams have matched up over the years that none of them has been in the postseason. So as you're looking at the as you're looking at the seahawks you're looking at the fact that they are without their top three running backs they had to sign marshawn lynch off the street and yet I think they're going to continue to WANNA still run the football instead of using Russell Wilson this incredible tool that they have at their disposal. And they've got Tyler Lockett and C and D K metcalf to outstanding young wide receivers. I have to throw the ball. We know what the Eagles weaknesses. And that's in the pets in the stopping the passing game. How do you think the seahawks are gonNA come out? How nervous does Russell Wilson make you for Sunday afternoon? Oh I think Russell he's one of the greats and his ability to keep plays alive and he just always plays under control and he's a big equalizing factor. But that being said I think the they're so banged up on off. I when when I looked when you saw the playoff thing coming together and it started to look like the eagles had a legitimate chance of being a playoff team. And you Kinda look who also is going to be in the pool so you kind of look at Seattle and go boy if they could somehow manage to get Seattle at home you know in the first game nice match that. That's that's you. You gotta like their chances or you know that is a game where it would not take a Herculean effort to to to win as opposed. I think it would against some of the other teams I think they'll do what they do. I think they will run the ball. The running game doesn't scare me. I think marshawn Lynch Nice store. It's a neat story. And he's naming all but when you I haven't played all year and what he will bring to. The table is limited secondary. It's always going to be an adventure But you're you're in kind of heartened by the fact that they defensively so much better at home than it does on the road. What does it a twelve point difference and then they give up the dog and Tina game seventeen they give up fewer points than any other? NFL team at home. And you know the way. They played against the giants last week on the road that was that was was the performance. We've gotten used to seeing the link so given the state of the Seattle offense and you know. Give us a Wilson his credit but I. I think it's reasonable to think they can hold on the seventeen twenty points Because there's no reason to think given recent history and I know they turned it over. I think five times in that loss earlier but nothing lead you to believe they will hand the ball over like they did in that game and if they force Seattle to go length of the field I think like I said I think they can hold on the seventeen twenty and as crazy as it is. This group led by Greg Ward and Boston Scott. I'm pretty confident they can get into the low twenties so You know I liked their chances. I you know the defense played pretty well in in that first game against Seattle. It wasn't great. I thought it was one of those defensive performances. Where yes they didn't give up a ton of points and yes they didn't give up a a ton of yards but they didn't make plays that would have changed the game But that's something they have been doing here as of late I just I just. He's gotTa feel I gotTa feel like you know it. It's a match up that that suits them best and I weigh. Seattle is is Offensively right now I. I like the Eagles Chances. Well in the last match up. They held Russell Wilson to thirteen of twenty five. For two hundred yards one touchdown one interception just barely barely. It was just barely over fifty percent completion rate Tyler Lockett had one catch for thirty eight yards Decay metcalf three thirty five Maliki Turner one for thirty three. They shut down the passing game to Rashad Penny was the guy that killed them in that game. Fourteen carries for one hundred twenty nine yards and nine point two average and a touchdown. He's not there he's not GonNa play and he might. He might have a hard time playing next year. I was reading that his His acl injury is a really really complicated and nasty one but they also have Chris Carson. I mean so. He's not going to be there either. And we saw last week against the forty niners. They still wanted to run marshawn lynch they still wanted to. They wanted to feed him the rock on the the third and short and the fourth in short he. He's these night doesn't have the burst he wants did. He's not beast mode. And so I think the fact that I don't know if you remember the playoff game last last year. Do you remember the playoff game. The seahawks played against the cowboys last year. Where the passing game? There's the only way there are moving the ball and yet they insisted on continuing to try and run I. I think a big matchup advantage that the eagles have this weekend is Doug Peterson. Going up against P. Carol because if you're talking about XS and Os Doug Peterson is in zone right now with with his play calling and Jim Schwartz has has figured out something has figured out a way over these last few weeks to tighten things up. I mean he's he he's he I think he's playing a little a bit more press coverage but he's it just seems like everyone's more disciplined tackling been better over these last few weeks and that's GonNa be key and Matt. I think the big key to the defense being able to shutdown. Russell Wilson is sacking the quarterback like they did the last time they played these guys on. The Defensive Line looked outstanding on Sunday afternoon particularly particularly Tim Jernigan. Who if he can be a running buddy for Fletcher Cox? It makes. It's GonNa make all the difference in the world on with that defensive. Line that to me is the big key. Can the Eagles D. Line do what it did against Dallas do what it did against New York against Seattle on Sunday afternoon and they should be able to because again Seattle. Oh has issues on the offensive line with regards injury. So absolutely and you mentioned jared and I thought that was one of the best games. He's played in a while he was Against the the giants and you know Brandon Graham made a ton of I mean he always makes it Kinda plays but They're in a good spot right now..

"Special edition of BGN radio radio. I'm your host. John Stolnis follow me on twitter at John. stolnis coming up. We've got yet another eagles seahawks preview for you. I hope your ear holes aren't exhausted with previews as of this upcoming game between the birds and Sea Hawks at Lincoln financial field at four forty eastern time on Sunday afternoon. But obviously it's big game lot of us want to talk about it and Yeah I've got great guest coming up here in just a minute. Break it all down for us Over the next little bit but again watching this team go from five and seven to nine and seven watching Carson Wentz Evolve Volvo into the quarter of an you know what not a huge evolution. But what he's done over the last month delivering these fourth quarter overtime. Victories for must win games in a row. They've won all all for watching. Doug Peterson work. His magic get into the play calling grew. It has been beautiful and obviously the city is excited to welcome Seattle back into Lincoln financial field field for a rematch of their seventeen to nine defeat at the hands of the seahawks at the end of November and joining me to break the game down. This wildcard matchup with your NFC East Champs taken on the wildcard seahawks is Matt Leeann from Kyw Philadelphia ten sixty A. M. Split. Put your the sports director. There Matt Correct Sports Anchor Reporter. We don't really have sports director but you should be the sports director of my pay grade. I understand understand. Well I mean it's great to talk to you about this game. Are You surprised that this team is in the playoffs. That they're in this position. Now I remember back on December first when they were moving moving to a terrible dolphins team and I thought this team has division title written all over it so I mean when you think back and we were talking off the air when you think back to that dolphins game on December first after Thanksgiving and how bad they looked and how infuriating that game was and you going to where we are now. It's really really amazing. It is they've they've come a long way even just during that stretch and by the way if you're on the twitter machine give Matt Liana follow at Matignon ten sixty and before we get into this game. Matt you got a podcast. Excellent podcast telling people about While one with Matt Leon it's Basically we do a long form interview a week and we've had all different kinds of people and one year audience might be interested in one of our last episodes assode of twenty nineteen. We had conner bar went in studio and we did about thirty five minutes with him talking about his career talking about coming to the Eagles College allege football career How he was born deaf then and how he dealt with it? I mean everybody knows. He's a genuinely genuinely outstanding human So it was really really fun to sit down with them and You could check that out one on one with Matt. Leon you can find it wherever you find and your podcast probably wherever you find this podcast and it was a couple of episodes ago so it was A. I'm a little by but it was very good good. Make sure you check that out everybody buddy. So let's talk about this football game a little bit here and now and so what we've seen from this football team over the last four weeks. How real is it? Because it's obviously we watched Carson Wentz and Doug Peterson do amazing things with very little ones like creating. It's creating a gourmet meal at a five star restaurant restaurant with groceries. You got it Aldi. That that's what we're talking about here and you know there's a lot of conversation and we can talk about it if you want to. You know. WHO's more responsible Carson Wentz? Doug Peterson I don't really care who's more responsible they're doing together. And that's I think that's I think that's amazing but you know when when you look at how this is all been put together what what has has this final month meant to you as far as your confidence level of this team even moving past two thousand nineteen because because what they've done I think to me the anyway has has solidified the Carson Doug Combo moving forward Oh I think there's no question I mean let's look at specifically let's talk about. Doug Peterson Peterson. This'll be three years in a row making the playoffs. This will be two years in a row. Making the play offs after the team was dead in the water in the middle of the season. If they win Sunday. That's three years in a row. Not just making the plaza where the postseason victory to NFC titles to East titles a Super Bowl appearance and obviously super bowl win all that in four years as a head coach and all that in four years after his hiring was basically openly mocked across the city because ause people thought that that he was only getting hired because he was Andy's boy so when you put it in that context it's pretty incredible with the eagles offense offense. You know we remember. They they really struggled in the last game against Against Seattle losing seventeen to nine in Philadelphia back at the end of November. The Eagles turn the ball over a bunch in that game really Carson. Wentz had his worst game of the season against Seattle and Seattle still just barely managed to make it out Philadelphia with with victory in that when although they did leave if some points on the field as well they probably should've had more than seventeen points in that ballgame but nevertheless Seattle is not exactly a juggernaut either at one point in their Sunday night game against the forty niners and they were down on thirteen. Nothing they had a negative point differential on the season they only have a plus seven point differential on the season yet. They have an eleven five record. The Eagles are in the in the thirties. I believe with a nine nine and seven records so I mean point. Differential doesn't mean everything but it's a really good indicator of your talent level and Seattle. Seattle has its problems. Coming in they have they are. They are not more injured than the eagles are but they are close to it now. The Eagles are getting some good news. Here Matt it looks like it. Looks like you're going to get lane Johnson back out on the field I believe Zakar. It's was out on the field for practice on Thursday in some limited capacity which just shocks the hell out of me you gotTA. You've a lacerated kidney I'd be amazed as if he plays on Sunday but he desperately wants to get out there and and miles sanders was not out there on Thursday but they talked to him and It seems as though the rookie is going to be ready to go on Sunday. Which of those three guys do you think is most important to get back Lane Zach or miles at a very good question? I would say probably lane gene. That's my answer. Yeah just because of what he means that offensive line and you know when you do when you break down the splits of how they perform when he's not got in there and how they perform any is in there Honestly and this is going to be amazing I would probably go lane one mile sanders and all pro arguably one of the top four tight end in the NFL that Kirch third let backup. Dallas Goddard has proven to be such an such an adept depth tight end himself. And let's talk about you know you talk about this last month and one of the amazing things watching this team name is. This is something I said the people even in Games they won earlier this year. Every game was like dental surgery. Every game game is like you throw something at the TV. At least twice a game and the big one of the big reasons for that was their inability to catch the ball and it sounds silly but you know and it wasn't just the drops and I can't. I think I put this on twitter one time. I can't tell you. How many times do the first twelve or thirteen eighteen weeks of the season you watch a play in real time and a defenders right there with an eagle receiver and the ball bounces away? And you Well defender got a hand on it and then they showed a replay in slow motion. And you're like now. He just dropped it or he didn't make the play he didn't go get it anyway. The reason I bring this up with got it got it was one of the guys that you kind of look like what is going on. This guy's regressed. He doesn't make tough catches. He drops the ball lot now. Fast forward to now now and that catchy made against the giants against the sideline and the the fifty fifty balls. He's getting and his ability. He I feel like in this last month and I don't know if it's just maybe for and I don't WanNa say the lights going on like he wasn't performing to a certain point before but he's kind of transformed here the last month into kind of difference maker at tight end that you thought that the eagles were getting when they traded for him. And that's Really big and I think with his emergence you Kinda feel like as great as Zakar is. If he can't go they're going going to be okay because of what Godard has or how Goddard has emerged here In the last month so long answer to a simple question Lane Wayne one mile sanders to Zakar three. That would be the order of importance. I would say as far as getting them back. Yeah no I think it's all and it all has to do with. Their backups. Are Because if you if lanes not in there it's most likely It's most likely big again. Because you don't have Brandon Brooks in there At Right Guard. Either that's a big loss for this football team but You know give give credit to Matt Pryor for stepping in last week in and doing a pretty good job for for Brandon Brooks but You know obviously you know when you're talking about this offense you talk talk about how they're utilizing the running backs right now. Because you know we Greg Ward has been good And obviously the other practice squad guys have come up and they've they've really stepped up at this is team has become a screen team you know. And that's one of the things. I always thought that they should have done more of earlier. In the season was used the screen game more that was a staple of the Andy. Reid offense that always seemed to work when you've got an athletic offensive line like the Eagles do and you've got pass. Catchers out of the Backfield Mile Sanders proved. He could catch the Paul from the start of the season. Boston Scott has proven to be pretty good as a guest receiver as well you have and then you have two tight ends in in in in Goddard. Who can who can run these screenplays smell too especially got her? They've had a couple of huge games with him in the screen game and well I think one of those got called back recently that would have that would have I think it was against Dallas. It would've been a big gain and they had to call it back because of a holding penalty or something but the screen game has become a major. That's how they're getting chunk place..

A marathon session of her own today for more I'm joined by Bloomberg's senior executive editor. For David merrit. David. I find it interesting that sterling just doesn't seem to move as we get closer and closer to what could be a Brexit. And I'm not sure that that coined term is approved by Bloomberg. But it it just doesn't move the needle on cable. That's right. And when market's gonna start to get spooked as we get closer, you know, we've got a new deadline of April the twelfth that is not very far. If you listen to the European side that really starting to say, look, not Brexit is the most likely outcome. We've heard that repeatedly markets aren't paying any attention. I guess they're seeming that at some point a deal done or a long extension, but perhaps we need a bit of a convulsion in cable rate or the markets. More broadly to sharpen everyone's focus back at Westminster. So in a really interesting interview on Bloomberg television yesterday, Zach panel, who's Goldman Sachs co head of global foreign. Exchange and emerging market strategy said that. That we're in for a big finish in his view. And that the pound could be the cable rate could be the best opportunity among developed market exchange rates today. He thinks we're going to get a soft Brexit deal. Do you know what we're that kind of thinking is based? Well, that's right. If you look at the numbers of the votes like yes, nothing was actually approved. But it was just by whisker. So which just a few votes away from parliament coming behind, but the customs union our or even staying member of the single market. Remember, the cabinet last night were instructed to abstain there are plenty of people in the cabinet who would like that outcome to. So we'll have to see what comes out of the cabinet meeting today. But if MRs may were willing to let her own side both freely on that you've got to assume. Yes, that is in fact, a majority in the house of Commons for a fall softer Brexit than she is laying out if that were to be a big pivot full her. Yes. And and of course, finally passed accepted by the European Union. It's not hard to imagine cable. Take a big leap up. What's the next big development that we have to watch this meeting? Obviously today with our meeting is that is that the most important thing. Right. We'll see what comes out of that. What he's going to be has strategy is it to accept the possibility of up to Brexit is it to us for very long extension at the European comes next week. Is it more dramatically still to call a snap election to break the deadlock? So we'll have to wait for that. And then after today tomorrow looks like parliament are gonna have another guy third attempt at coalescing around one of these proposals. And we may also get MRs may herself bringing back that deals thrice defeated already for another vote in parliament either tomorrow Thursday. All right. David, thanks for joining us this morning, Limerick, senior executive editor David merrit, I wanna quickly point out. Now, Zac panel said sterling is maybe the biggest opportunity among developed market exchange rates today. He may have been thinking bitcoin is the biggest opportunity among all exchange rates because in dollar terms..

"And this is this is clearly, you know, part of pinions all kind of pre face it with that. But if you really historically look at Tipco Tipco has fundamentally been that company behind the scenes that make sure the major players in the industry are able to deliver on their promises. So you know, we connect in operate against the data and the systems to make sure I I don't know your kid has their Christmas presents under the Christmas tree on Christmas day, man, that's powered by our technologies. So we've traditionally built technology that powers the world, you know, major players. So we're not necessarily interested in competing with cloud vendors like AWS, we wanna work together with AWS because they provide something immensely valuable to the table in. In we provide something that they don't which is the technology that enables the enables all of these other major players to facilitate their promises as as I did to earlier Leon anything you wanna add. I mean, if you if you look at what Madison saying I fundamentally agree with him. I mean, I don't think we want to compete with with the likes of for example, AWS with with whom we have an amazing partnership. And if you look at the innovation that that's coming from from joined companies, if you will it's it's much more than any of those two companies would have been able to do below. So rather than competing with it? I would say that the offerings that both of us have were definitely complement one another. Yeah, I'd agree with that. I mean, there is so much to be done in helping out insurance companies telcos banks these companies that are making their way towards being software companies towards being AI. Companies these companies with the tremendous data advantage that need a whole lot of help in terms of revamping, their technology and and building software company like processes that. It's it's much more. I see it at least much more as a positive some, you know, opportunity for partnerships rather than this zero sum competition for deals. I mean, people might see for example, like the Pentagon's competition for the ten billion dollar cloud budget, and they imagined that this is this is euro some battle between cloud gladiators. But for the most part, that's not really how it works. People are just picking and choosing technologies and those technologies are working better. And better with one another. Absolutely, I agree with you one hundred percent cool. Well, guys, thank you for coming out to offer engine daily been really great talking to you about flow. Goes there anything else that you want to add about the project? Yeah. I mean flow dot IO or hit us up on get hub. We've gotta get her channels. So if anyone's interested in or if we've confused them completely. Definitely feel free to to hit us up on gator, get hub and happy the Chet awesome. Well, thank you. Matt leon. Thank you. Thank you. All of the advances in data science and machine learning over the last few years. Most teams are still stuck trying to deploy their machine learning models manually that is tedious. It's resource intensive and often ends in various forms of failure the algorithm Mia AI.

"FM and AM eight twenty NPR news and the New York conversation. This is the takeaway, I'm tansy Nevada over the weekend. The Trump administration announced it would take another significant step in cutting back on legal immigration, the department of homeland security wants to restrict green cards for any immigrant who legally accepts public benefits, like food assistance or section eight housing. Leon fresco is an immigration attorney and former deputy assistant attorney general at the Justice department, and he was also head of the office of immigration litigation under the Obama administration. Leon thanks for joining us. Thank you Tenzin. So let's talk a little bit about this rule, which by the way is not short. It's about four hundred forty seven pages long. What's in all of those pages? Well in any rule, you have an explanation and executive summary, an economic impact statement and a lot of other things that aren't the exact rule, but the thrust of the rule itself is a new definition of what constitutes benefits that can be counted against nonsense. Citizens when they apply for either an extension of their immigration status. Initial entry into the country or adjustment of their status into green cards with what is known as the public charge ground of inadmissibility, which is one of the first grounds from one hundred years ago that was invented in the immigration law, which was a ground of inadmissibility that was designed to say that if the government believed that you are going to be defend dependent upon the public financial Fisk for assistance that you could be ruled inadmissible and not be allowed to live in the United States. And what what we're making the distinction here. These are folks who have entered the country legally these are legal immigrants what up until this rule was the situation for legal immigrants were they able to access health services and section eight another another government benefits. Basically the the previous rule that was done was in one thousand nine hundred ninety nine. There was a rule that was done that talked about the benefits that you could get didn't make you a public charge versus the benefits you could get that did make a public charge. And basically the way the system has been up until now is if you're getting a benefit legally, and that benefit is available to people in your immigration status or category that wouldn't be held against you in any future immigration application. What's changing now is there's a much more tightening status to say, hey, even if a state or a locality or the federal government says a certain benefit is eligible, but you're eligible for a certain benefit. It still won't matter. You will still be held to be inadmissible or you won't be allowed to extend your stay here or to get a green card on the 'cause you've taken that. I have a question though, like if these are legal immigrants, these are people who are here legally the assumption is that they're also paying taxes to a certain extent to access these benefits. Well, a yeah. In many respects this. True, you're paying sales taxes. You're if you're paying rent, you're paying part of the property tax that the Landau that the landlord is paying, of course, you're contributing in many ways to the society. So then how can the federal government than limit? What you're a what you can access? Well, what what I I mean. I I disagree with the rule that's being issued, of course. But my only point that I'm saying is that what the rule is attempting to do with it attempting to define what this law from one hundred years ago means word says public charge, and it saying here with all the new things we're going to input in this basket that make you a public charge. So that's what they're trying to do. They're certainly be lawsuits challenging Matt Leon fresco immigration attorney. Stick around with us. We've got more questions after a quick break..
