Operator Tyler standing by best and worst of the weekend. NFL was fun. As always, one of those games, two of those games where you go, wait, what just happened there? And we had a few of those. Sam darnold. Yeah. Carolina Panthers, do you think the Carolina Panthers are like, Sam, what did you do? We won the game. But Sam darnold's probably going if we win games, then you can't get a quarterback, then maybe I got a chance to still be a quarterback in this franchise. Brown's over the box, that was surprising. Dolphins roll, Jags over the ravens. That's one of those signature moments for Trevor Lawrence, and you do that in the final two minutes. That was great. By the way, when these coaches go for two, Doug Peterson, Brandon staley. There are genius when it works. But when it doesn't work, are they still a genius because they were trying to go for it? Yes, polling. I think there's upside to the try because most football fans like a coach, I like my coach to go for it. I'm doing the tough guy fanboys. I think you get points with your fans. We're going for it. And not playing soft. Even though it could be playing smart. Yeah, but they're geniuses today or yesterday, but would they have been, would we say, man, I love my coaches a genius. He went for two and we lost. Yes, he. Haven't we already been through a cycle of like, this guy's costing us games. We're gonna lose how many games is this guy gonna cost us with this stuff? I don't know if Brandon staley can continue to do this. That's not a sustainable yes, Todd. He can't continue to do that because we always say, and you've said it many times, the charge is always find a way to find the banana peel. So why add to that even more so by putting more at risk in a team that still has hopes to do something this year? Thank you, Tom. You're welcome. But the Jaguars are in a position. What were they? Three and 7 going into the game. They're not playing for anything this year. It's cool. And it gives them their fancy. The place was going crazy, yesterday. Aaron Rodgers got hurt. We don't know the extent of that. The question is, with Jordan love coming in throwing a touchdown pass and Matt Lafleur, the packers head coach was asked this oblique injuries for guys who have to throw. That's a tough injury between that and the thumb do you think you probably need to shut him down for the rest of the year? I

"Who song. So you can pretend, do it. That's true. Okay. There you go. So what would say? That firing was silent. But deadly. Yeah. Or you could do a bob Costa. You might say. You might say a lot of different directions. All I know is this. And then we'll take it for Twitter because we can take some phone calls to end the show. All I'm saying is I would love a camera in the writer's room of Ted Lasso when this story broke. You send this to Bill rubel. This has to be next season. Okay. I think unfortunately, though, they shot out the season, or are they shooting at you? They're still shooting in London right now. This has to be brought to the attention. Of the riders and Ted Lasso. That somebody was released, if you will, from their football club, because they laughed in the middle of an important speech being delivered by a team captain. That does sound like something in Ted Lasso. Who would it be? Who would it be? Would it be that? Jamie tart would be laughing at something that anybody would be saying. I can't get enough of it. But as you know, his character is growing. And let's see. Jamie might have grown up. I think some point. That's more of a season two storyline. Yeah, and the same in the laughing, but you're overlooking the biggest part of it. Because the poo thing. Thank you so much. Yeah. You're here on the rich eisen show. Sorry for that entree. What's going on? That's my lead in. I haven't spoken to Susie and God knows how long and this is how you this is how you bring me into the floor. Well, I mean, it's just the way things go. It's just the way things go. I mean, you watch the news sometimes where they're showing you they're talking about some sort of awful story. And then meanwhile, in the national zoo, here's a new panda, you know, like that happens all the time. The news that's been shocking, that's just a rippling through the whole world. Mister and misses eisen are those parents that baseball game. With the bucket. We are not. And the other shocking news, which you make light of it, I'm shocked at this. I'm very surprised. That guy who did that lost that bet? Yes. Do you know how much do you know how much problem you know how many problems that causes it happens a lot for these poor guys that are trying to qualify? I hate to be this guy, 'cause I'm sure some of these guys, that jams up the whole day. It's shocking that the USDA would even allow them to come through like that. But it's awful when the guys do that. It's really bad. Oh, really? You're going to be that guy out, huh? I'm trying to qualify and I got to be paired with this Jamal. That's true. So he's you know, they're trying to put food on the table, Richard. So he's probably paired so it's an interesting point. He's probably paired with somebody who's trying to make it, and they're standing there. Definitely. Yeah. Definitely, because they lie, because you can lie by all you have to do is create a false index. You have to be like at least a minus two, or no, plus two, to qualify. For those. So this guy's lying and he gets away and here I am. Yeah, this guy's you guys trying to grind. It's happened to buddy tomorrow. You know, where they get these guys that are out there just okay. It's crazy. All right, now. I just want to see a little more positivity from you, man. Let's go, come on. So we need to bring it down, but you did use rich's favorite word jamo. You've been doing a great job. Well, thank you. But you did use rich's favorite word to milk. We're brothers from another. Yeah, we are definitely. That is a lead in for you, by the way. Thanks for the call. I'll call back tomorrow and kill our buzz tomorrow. Very good. Right here on the rich eisen show, one of our favorites. That's a good point, though. Somebody's trying to make the cut at the open trying to qualify. And then you're waiting. You need to get moving and somebody's chopping broccoli off to the right on his 9th shot. Meanwhile, poor rich, he made fun of some guy with pneumonia, Tom, right? Tom. I don't remember. And then Al gives him a whole world of grief. It's all right. Well, it's more like the first guy we thought was kind of hitting on you, so we didn't. It's okay. Guys, it's okay. It's all about perspective. I got to work in one piece today. Barely. Yeah, I know. Not fairly. I got to work in. Oh my God. How am I supposed to drink my coffee while I'm driving if I'm in a cup holder with the hands on ten and two, and then when you are at a red light, you're like, okay, here's my little caffeine burst. Pop, and then go back to it. It's a long drive. Yeah, like there's no red lights on the four O 5. No. You're on there. You're going. I was only going 80. Okay. We were in the electric lane. That's very good, very good. That'll wrap it up for this show. We'll take you to our next show on peacock in a moment. Get an inside look at Hollywood with Michael Rosenbaum. I find nothing funny about it. I think it would be a totally different conversation. And potential work environment over there right now. Violation. As opposed to Susie. No, I mean, he wouldn't dare do it with you. You can get go for having. He was dropped from the first team. Yep, yep. Then he was expelled. Not good. That's good. First of all, if you lose, the last thing you want to do is be the captain of a team, and you're giving a speech trying to rally the guys. And some guys laughing in the background. That'll undercut. That's out of control. And then on top of it, you're hearing. But to drop a bomb on top of it. You know what? Oh, God. You don't need to do that. I was about to say, you know, the cut was because the cheese. No, no, no. Hold on a minute, because this happened last summer, and we didn't learn about it until now. "Is Bobby petrino in Atlanta. When he came from Louisville and he was a winning coach there and he was so awful and dreadful and then left in the middle of the season got out. This isn't for me. He got out of his own volition. This was the only thing they could equate this to. Is that? So more lawsuits than wins. How about that? What else do you have over there? I think there's a U turn coming. So go for it. This is a U turn. It's a shank. John eckert, a gentleman. In Kansas City, Missouri. Yes. Had a disastrous fantasy situation. Okay. So last fall he finished last. In his football fantasy. Football he finished last. The Shiva league. Questions about that already. He would have to know what he called. The Shiva league. That's a reference to our friend, the league. Yeah, that's shaved for show. Oh. Okay. Jeff schaefer reference, then it's okay. Yes. He would have to play as a local qualifier in the U.S. open. So he did. This kid eckert, who is 26 years old. Yes. He played in the oakwood country club in Kansas City, Missouri, finished in last place, carting a 40 over a 112 which is 40 strokes behind the winners. A hot mess. Oh my God. He had a ten on the par four 407 yard. I'd do better. So wait a minute. He doubles the first, doubles the second, triples the third, the par three tripled. Then he, what do you call 6 over on a home? I don't even know if there's a word for it. A hot mess. The hot mess. He pars the par 5 fourth, then he's bogeying parr, quadruple bogey, oh my God, this is, this is outstanding. How many snowman do you see on the screen that's one, two, three, four, 5, 5, 8, and a ten. This is the best quote. He said he topped his first shot, his first tea with a three wood. His ball landed about 20 yards behind a tree in the rough. He said, at that moment, I knew it was going to be a struggle. Oh my God. Is that the moment? Really? Is that the moment you know that this is going to be a struggle? Kudos to this fantasy league. Crazy. So you lose, you finish in last, you had to participate in a U.S. open qualifier. Bring your sticks and your shame. And oh my God, a 40 over? Is that what he was? He was 40 shots over? Yeah, he's apparently awaiting a letter from the USGA letting him know that he can no longer compete in these events because of his high score. That letter must be framed. And brought out at every future draft of this fantasy league kudos. To these individuals, well done, oh my gosh. Spoiler alert didn't make the cut. That's a fantastic. Fantastic. All right. I like these news items. Are we really doing the third item? Let's take a break. And we'll do that. Because I think this one needs its own. I saw the aired out, if you will. Oh, very good. Thank you. Very good. Wait a second. I don't know that. Yeah, you have no idea what's coming. And your phone calls, 8 four four two O four rich number to dial on this edition of the rich eisen show. I don't want to say speaking of Taylor, but oh God. So it's this one last news item go for it. This is one last one that you definitely didn't see this story. TJ. Yes, ma'am. Don't direct this at him. No, it's just, what do you think of this one? We're just chopping it up. Okay. We're just talking. Careful about what we're about to chop off. No. Wow. So the Brazilian defender Marcello. He may say Marcello. I speak Italian, so I'm saying Marcello, but he is Tanzanian. That's a whole different conversation. Last August, he was dropped from his Lyon. Team. And people didn't understand why he's 34. He wasn't playing great. Turns out we found out why he was dropped from his football club. Okay. He was dropped because he was farting and laughing in the dressing room too much. That's why he was dropped. He was caught last. This is a real tweet. This is a real story. Dubois has captain speech to rally the troops after a game. And his manager Peter boasted not like that. He also apparently was repeatedly farting in the Clubhouse and in the dressing room and laughing about it. I think that's grounds for dismissal. What do you think TJ? What? It's a real story. It has gas. He could have an upset stomach. We don't know what he's been eating. As you know, as you know, if this was grounds for dismissal in the NFL, von Miller would have been gone a very long time ago. If that was grounds for dismissal from the.

"Schuster. Brockman's like, come on, man. He was like, let me back in the chair. That's dirty and gross as it is. All right guys, former Jaguars kicker, Josh Lambo follow the lawsuit. This is according to ESPN against the team on Tuesday alleging that former head coach urban Meyer created a hostile work environment and that the team did nothing about it rich saying that he kicked him violated the Florida civil criminal and employment law concerning assault battery and workplace violence in furtherance of an employee employer's interest. He is saying that he was abused and that the whistleblower act was not used properly. Thoughts on that. Oh, man. As if the urban Meyer hiring could not get any worse for the Jacksonville Jaguars, there's now a lawsuit. Look, I feel for Josh Lambo. I do, man. Kickers have such a tough gig. We all do in the NFL, all players do. And again, Josh said that urban Meyer kicked him. And called him a dip S and told him to make his F and kicks and Lambo went back at him and urban responded by saying that this is the only time he's ever let a player talk to him that way. And if he did it again, he would get rid of him. The lawsuit alleges, by the way, extreme emotional and mental distress. He's saying that he owes back pay, damages, and legal fees. He did receive his full $3.5 million salary in 2021. Here's what I'll say. And again, I don't know the legal aspect of this, but all I know is maybe he's suing the wrong entry. Maybe you should sue the coach. You know, sue the guy that was creating that environment. And I understand, I guess there's work in labor laws. I'm not too deep into it. But we had Doug Peterson on just about an hour ago. And I asked him if he thought part of his job was being a healer. I've never asked of a coach that's coming after any coach has been fired. Like urban Meyer, but everything that urban Meyer was fired for. And about, led to the question, and this was the answer from Doug Peterson earlier on the program. I agree with that. I do. I think there's a part of that. I know this is professional football, but listen, it's also life too in these kids and the people that are here have families outside of this business and this organization obviously and I think part of the healing process is the best we can to flip the script and to try to gain the trust of these players and so I do agree with that. I do agree that there is some level of healing that has to take place and it has taken place and is taking place. But we're not where we need to be, obviously right now. And we're going to continue to work at that. I mean, I've never heard of coach say that about the situation he's entering for. And that's how bad it was. Now, Meyer has denied what? Lambo is accusing him of doing. And the Jacksonville Jaguars say that. Their legal counsel in response, saying that they offered to speak with Josh or assisted Josh and speaking. Any suggestion otherwise is blatantly false. Said the Jaguars in a statement to the Tampa Bay times. Jaguar's legal counsel indeed acknowledged and responded immediately to the query made by Josh Lambo's agent on Friday, August 27th, 2021, which is when he got kicked. So normally I reserve this for coaches when they say something that they really can't say, but I'm going to reserve it for now. The Jaguar's legal staff, go ahead. What are they really thinking? Josh, we just signed the guy to a long-term contract for ten to $12 million a year. And we didn't see him kicking you coming. We didn't see anything that he did coming. We didn't see him staying over in Cincinnati and winding up in his hometown bar and getting stuff tweeted out. We didn't see anything coming. We saw none of that coming. We kind of hoped it would all work out. We're sorry you got caught up in this whole damn thing. But urban wire was such a complete and unmitigated disaster. He was supposed to be the CEO head coach. He was supposed to be the guy to bring in the culture. He was supposed to be the guy to bring that winning spirit here. And he was so none of that, it took us a little while to get rid of him. And we're sorry we got caught up in that whole damn thing. But maybe you should be suing him. Can a coach get sued for kicking somebody? And for being such a complete charlatan, can that guy get sued? I don't know. Maybe he could be the first there. Again, I know I'm running afoul of labor law and things like that. I have no idea. But I heard this and I'm like, you're suing the wrong guy. You know, Jaguars got caught up in this whole damn thing more than anything else. I don't know, how many will urban Meyer and gender more lawsuits than he had wins with the Jacksonville Jaguars? Will that be the final count accounting of his incredibly disastrous tenure with Jacksonville that he and the team will wind up in litigation about paying them out and Josh Lambo is now suing the team. So that's potentially two lawsuits, and I think he had two wins. So there you go. Do you think rich? We had one win. Did you have to see it to one win? That's it. You might have more lawsuits than wins. I just want to just figure that stuff out right here. Do you think the urban Meyer debacle in demise? Is the biggest, I didn't see that coming in the history of coaching. In terms of when he got the job, urban Meyer, this will be interesting. Yeah. Ever see anything like this before. The only thing that to equate it and then we'll get to the rest of your news since I think this has been covered ground by me a little bit. By the way, Jaguars, I appreciate you bringing me Doug Peterson on this show earlier..

"Did you order clothes for coupe? I meant to ask you. I keep not yet I'm just going to ask you on the air because I keep forgetting. I know that. I know that please get clubs. I will do that. I will do that. Let me make a note of that. Sorry, I know you're doing a national show. Our son needs to go. Housekeeping. It needs to go wrong. A lefty set, obviously. Because he's a left handed pitcher, we've established over the last couple of days and yesterday this strike zone on him got squaws in. That was my way of complaining about the umpires. Susie finally lost it and said the ump sucked. And that is caused in Houston to call into the program. What's up, Joseph? No, they might start. Thank you for taking my call. I appreciate it. You know, I'm going to do some props to see, I didn't know how young you were, but you don't look the age that you said you were, so I'm going to give you props on that one. So you look very beautiful, it's nice to have both of you on here. How about that strike zone? I like this. You are a great mom. Rich is sitting right here. It's right here. It's okay. It's okay. And then I'm going to say that I hope that you send these in for the Emmy next year because there's two segments have been great. Thank you. I want to say that that is worth it. These two are a little bit better than the prices are ideal. I'm sorry. DJ, but I think this is a little bit better. But anyway, I was going to say that I'm going to defend my fellows. I know it's hard to get back there and it 50% of the people are going to like what we call in 50% of people aren't going to like what we call, but anytime I recommend this for every coach out there to have every parent that has a person in either baseball or softball to have a parent, get back behind the plate and you calls and strikes for a batter and see what it's like to be back there. Although I would never throw either one of you out because if your son's throwing a no hitter, I sure as heck wouldn't want you to miss that, send you out to the outfield, left field to right field. And if your son or daughter hits a home run, that's what I would be well as the umpire smaller. He kicked me out and I didn't get to see you hit that home run. No, I don't want that. And plus we're making a little bit light of it. I mean, we're not barking at the umpire. We would never do anything like that. It's just that my son, he wasn't pitching a no hitter. And part of the reason was the guy who should have been struck out got a hit. So that's the way we were viewing it. But Joe, I have a question for you. May I? Please go. Hi, Joe. So here's my question. What happens when you have a strike zone? And the picture is trying a nuanced pitch. And he paints the corner. And it's called a strike once, but then the same pitch is coming. Where's the inconsistency? And I'm grateful for all of you who call these games without you. We wouldn't have games to play. So thank you. That's one. But to me, team sports for youth is about showing them the consistency is rewarded. So I get frustrated when the umps aren't consistent. Well, all I can say is is that people ask me about my strike zone and I say I'm consistently inconsistent, but I'm going to say is that we miss them, you know? I create myself. I probably the hardest, greater of pitches whenever I do girls fast pitch softball. If I miss a pitch, then, you know, I know I'm mister pitch, and I should have given it to the either to the batter or to the pitcher, and you know, it was just one of those things where, you know, yeah, but I don't try to make up for it. I just try to say, hey, I'll watch that, especially when it, you know, the way that baseball and chop all are is that, you know, you've got to give the black because it's only fair to the picture and sometimes I miss it. And I'll be honest, I miss it. So, you know, I try to do the best that I can. And. If it's inconsistent, well, all I can say is that I hope I'm inconsistent on both sides of the field. So that way the other side gets the same inconsistency, but you know, I know I try to work at it. I try to get back there and do the best that I can, but I'm human and I miss. So, you know, it was just happened. Joe, thanks for the call, brother. Thank you. Thank you. There you go. There's Joe and Houston. We have just ejected him from the Richards. You're out of there. All right, let's get to the news update right here on the rich eisen show and everyone on hold stand hold. We will definitely take your phone calls before the end of this show. I appreciate it. All right, thanks, rich. Appreciate it. Thank you right back at you. That is Matt Lafleur, the head coach of the Green Bay Packers right here in the rich eisen show. It's going to be 90° here on Saturday, 90. Can you believe that? This is great, because we didn't want to make a quick trip. You did the traffic in the first hour. It did. Hey everybody, weather on the one. And I'm the weather guy for the show. I should get goudie on. He'd love to know the answer to that question. Jordan love. Yeah, a lot of people. I just like that duty, because remember for a while, I could not say that guy's name. Go to kunst. Yeah, and I've worked on duty. Now I'm just going to come do you. Just call him gooty. Shake your duty. I mean, what to make him all that, man. Devonte surprised him. Yeah, that was the shock with saying that Rogers knew and Rogers told McAfee that that surprised him. Everything I heard is that it was obvious that devonte Adams not come back. Yeah. Because he didn't get paid last year. And miss made to play this year, and he wasn't happy about that. I get it. Well, remember that Brady said that 90% of what he said was not really what he was thinking. So maybe he just started smoke up my butt, which is very appreciated. Me pause. That was interesting. "That's put forth like that, Matt Lafleur. Well, I think everybody is probably a little emotional about the last game. And it still hurts. It still stings, but I think one thing you always got to do is recognize your past and try to learn from each and every situation. And you got to give the San Francisco forty-niners a lot of credit that we knew that was going to be a tough game regardless. I mean, there's such a great defense and a very physical football team. I don't think myself more so than anybody did their job to the standard that we'd like to do it at. Any time you don't perform to your expectation, I think that leaves rooms for people to criticize and I guess that's going to be the narrative and we're going to have to do something about it and prove people wrong. Do you think the criticism is anywhere remotely close to the neighborhood of valid though? Coach. I do not, but it is what it is. I mean, that's just everybody's entitled to their own opinion. And it's up to us to do something about it. Through people wrong and until we do, that will be the narrative. Please tell me that when deebo made it known he wanted to be traded, you called Kyle Shanahan and asked if you could have him. Please tell me you did that. Matt Lafleur. I did not call Kyle Shanahan. Oh man, I thought that was an opportunity. We came on the other end of that call before. Yeah, I've heard that story. So you didn't take you didn't take that opportunity? That opportunity. I'm not going to say that guti didn't call. Okay. But certainly, I did not make that call. Okay. Okay. Just how to ask you that question. When you're in a draft room and you're late in the first round and you know the free football world is waiting to see you draft a wide receiver. And then you take two defensive players and that's absolutely not giving the full scope of the defensive players you took and the program from which you took them and the championship quality with which they play. But what happened on draft night that night for you guys? Well, I think you saw it. I mean, a lot of those wide receivers went earlier and there was a big run. And I don't think you can just obviously we knew we had a need for wide receiver. But you can't force the issue and I thought guti did a great job of just being patient knowing that there were some other guys out there that we were very intrigued with and ultimately took the best player in at least from our board. And we feel like we got better with those two guys. So I was super excited about it. I think as long as you're adding really good football players and not only great football players, but good people to your organization. I think there's a lot of reason to be excited about that. Yes. I mean, you've got quay walker who is terrific. I love Wyatt a lot. And obviously, you know, with Kenny Clarke there, and you can move Clark around, as you know, I'm a big Michigan guy. So you have in rashawn Gary. I love watching him play and blossom as well. You could do a ton of stuff with the defensive players you got, but walk me through the wide receivers if you don't mind and what you think they can do. You took two kids in the first few rounds. What do you think they can do and how quickly you think they can make an impact for you this fall? Well, shoot, we hope we hope they can impact very quickly, but Christian Watson obviously he's big. He's fast. He's physical. Got a chance to see him this past weekend with our rookie camp. So we had them in. I should say last weekend and he's a really impressive guy. Not only just in terms of his physical ability, but just how he goes about his business, how he was able to pick up our playbook pretty quickly. I want to be careful about giving all these expectations about what he's going to go out there and do because ultimately he's really young and he's got a lot to learn and he's got to go through an off season and with us and then we'll have a better idea. But I think just when you look at his skill set, it is pretty impressive. Just what he's able to do is just a very big explosive athlete and then when you talk about Romeo Dobbs again another guy that is he's 6 two two O 5 he's a well built guy. He's got really good speed. He showed extremely aggressive hands. Not only through the draft process, but this past weekend. So those are two guys that we're pretty excited about and just adding to our rotation. And then the last guy we drafted in the 7th round, samari Tori. Here's another guy that just is pretty physically gifted that a versatile receiver that we could put inside in the slot or put them outside. He's got some really good athletic body movements that resemble kind of like a basketball player. And that's something we always kind of look for in a wide out and their ability to separate. So those are three young guys that we're really excited to add to the mix of some of the vets that we have. Did Rogers give his two cents on the wide receiver position going into the draft? To you guys? Yeah, you know, we talked to him about it. And I think ultimately, I think there's certainly a lot of trust on his part and that we are going to go try to get the best players available and we feel like we did that for given the circumstances. Okay. And then last one for you here with all the quarterback movement that we saw in March and Rogers stay input. A lot of us assume Jordan love would be on the move. Somebody would call for you and like Rogers is at least going to be there. We assume for next couple of years in which take you to past loves contract any thoughts of that at all? You know, those are decisions that I don't make. And I'm glad I don't have to make them rich. So that's those are great questions for goody though. You got to get him on the show with me. All right, let's do that. I'd be happy to be happy to do that. I'd love to hear his answer. That's another guy whose door I've been knocking on. So we got to hopefully hear answers that. Coach, I appreciate the time. Thank you so very much. Let's do this more often. If you are up for it, so would I? Thank you for the call. Appreciate it. Absolutely. I appreciate it. I just want to get out there because you're out in LA, correct? Yes, sir. Yeah, there's a chair right here. I'd like to do. Okay. When are you coming? You got to do it in the winter time though. Well, I mean, that would be a problem for you though..

"Go? I think our PR guy would kill me. Yeah, if you have a red light on your office phone, it might like. It might light up. I don't know. It could be one of those things. But what is your general sense, though, and when you like buys? I know that that is something that is usually situationally dependent. Have a significant amount of injuries you want it right when you need it. But what's your general sense on that subject matter? Coach. Well, if everything is going well, then I think you'd prefer it later in the season. But we've had the early buy before and we've had the late buy. And so I think you just got to be ready to adjust and adapt to whatever is given to you. Just like you have to do on a weekly basis. I mean, we just show up and play basically such your mind off show up and play. Matt Lafleur, Green Bay Packers head coach here on the rich eisen show. How are you a different coach now than when you were just a few years ago? Matt. I think in a lot of ways, I think just a much more comfortable being out in front. I don't think that's necessarily my nature. To want that. But no, I just no one what you believe in and also knowing the fact that we have so many great people around myself in this organization not only in the front office, but other coaches and then we've just the character of our football team is really outstanding. And that makes it much more fun to come to work each and every day. And it just seems to me now entering this fourth year, you tell me if I'm off. You feel free to do that. I hear that all the time anyway, but you tell me if I'm off here. So year one, your first time head coach, coming in, replacing Mike McCarthy and there's Aaron Rodgers who's a set in his ways and we're all wondering if he can adapt to you and vice versa, right? And then you guys make the NFC championship game. But then decide to draft Jordan love and me and the rest of the media world is asking, why would you antagonize your best player like that? And then that was year two with all of that and all the conversation and year three we all know going into it. We didn't know if Aaron was coming back. And now this seems to be just like quiet and normal for the first time for you. In Green Bay, is that a fair assessment? Right now? For you? Yeah, I would say this last off season has been the least amount of gray I've grown probably since I've been here. So the first two were definitely there was a lot of talk and we do our best to kind of block out the outside world anyways. But I think anytime you're in a situation where you don't know if your quarterback's coming back, that's a pretty big deal. Obviously every year in this league is met with different challenges and different circumstances and we've got to adjust again this year because we lost a lot of great players that have helped produce a lot of wins here for the organization. I mean, you're talking about guys like devonta Adams and sudaria Smith and as well as a few others MVS. So we got to acclimate the new guys. We're really excited about our team, but bottom line is everybody's excited this time of the year. You've got to go on and you got to put the work in, you got to come together as a team and get better each and every day. Well, I mean, we were all surprised that Rogers signs back and then devonte Adams goes. And I'm wondering, what about you? Were you surprised about that sequence? Coach? Yeah, I'd say so. I'm not going to I'm not going to blow smoke up your butt. I definitely was a little bit surprised how that whole thing transpired. I was optimistic that we could work something out, but at the end of the day, it didn't work out that way. And so you just got to adjust and you've got to move on. So was there any point in time because again, every head coach that's highly successful like you is a control freak. I mean, did you try and make the calls control at best you can to avoid that result? Coach? Oh, absolutely. Yeah, absolutely. You're always in communication with your best players. And not only your best players, but guys that you truly respect how they go about their work. And devonte is no different. Obviously, he's the best receiver in the game right now in my opinion. And then I think he's a great person as well. And I love how he approaches the game and how he works and he's a guy that I got a lot of respect for. So certainly, we tried to do our best to kind of remedy the situation and just didn't go that way. How was your relationship with Rogers evolved from the start and now to where it is today? How can you walk me through that if you don't mind? Yeah, I think it's just like anything. I think we know each other. I think there's a lot of trust and love and respect for one another, not to say that we don't have our differences just like anybody else. That certainly happens from time to time. But I think just the level that we communicate, we're always able to be on the same page and like I said, there's such a mutual respect for one another. What would the difference be? And obviously it's resolvable. Clearly, but just walk me through what a loggerhead moment with Rogers would look like or sound like. Well, it could be anything, right? It could be just in terms of how you're implementing a game plan or there might be a certain play that I really want to run, but if he doesn't feel comfortable with it, why would I put him in that position? So he generally wins the arguments. Yes, indeed. I hear you. But I guess it seems like you're more attuned to each other than ever before. That's what it looks like when you're watching a game with you guys together. Yeah, absolutely. Like I said, I think just a lot of it is just in the preparation that we put in on a weekly basis and being in all the meetings with him. So we have great dialog, great communication and you get a good sense for what he likes. And then in game, just that communication and being able to adjust if we need to if we need to adjust. Matt Lafleur here on the rich eisen show. So let me just give you the general, I guess, wisdom, I don't know if it's conventional or otherwise or the conversation based on green bays endgame this past year. And bounce it off you. The general sense is, is the offense that you are running with Rogers at the helm is not equipped to win games when it's snow and it's 10° outside and that you would be better off playing in a warmer climate that clearly will never happen. By having home field advantage, how do you respond to something?.

"Scheduled the most. You know what I mean? It's always a difficult way to turn the phraser because we already know who plays who and we know who plays who where we just don't know the when and on what channel. That schedule release show is going to be tomorrow night on NFL network unless all the NFL partners reveal their schedule before then. And we're just like enough, okay? Can you just leave some of that we're going to be working very hard for three hours tomorrow? I just enough. You might just have three games too. You might just have three games. They get to complain. Okay. You're out your grievance. It was a great chat with Doug Peterson last hour of the Jacksonville Jaguars, Chris brockman on the shelf Susie, my wife Susie shoes. Sitting in his chair once again. DJ, Mikey D, as in Dee's nuts. Right there as well. Also, TJ Jefferson good to see you in your position. I don't think that's ever not going to be funny. You know what? That's what Snoop Dogg said when he was here many, many moons ago. And that's something that you had a lot of time. The greatest drama. At any rate, 8 four four two O four rich is the number to dial Susie is going to have a news update coming on, but I got to tell you, I'm genuinely excited for this next guest and again, I'm not just saying that because he's on hold listening to me introduce him. I do not believe he has been on this program. And I am eager to chat with him because I love the way that he goes about his business and does his work. And he's one of the most successful head coaches in the NFL, certainly coming out of the gate in Green Bay with 13 win seasons every single time. He is on the Mercedes Benz van's phone line, the head coach, the Green Bay Packers, and that Lafleur. How are you doing, coach? I'm doing well, rich. Thanks for having me on. You got it. Listen, I've been knocking on the door. I've been knocking on the door. It's just appreciated your answer this time. Thank you. I appreciate that. Yeah, now it's great to be on with you. Thank you. Greatly appreciate that. When you get the schedule tomorrow night, the first thing you look at will be what? Coach. Well, there's a lot of things you look at, but I may or may not have gotten a sneak peek at the schedule, but not to tease anybody, but no, you're always kind of looking where you open up at and whether it's home or on the road and then just kind of any pitfalls, potential pitfalls like in terms of that are out of the ordinary and the number of days to prepare for a game. So if we have 6 days in between a game or 5 days, obviously the Thursday night game, that's kind of what we look for. So read me your schedule then..

"I don't believe in this at all, but can you imagine if Big Ben and his final year in Pittsburgh made a run? And they won a Super Bowl. How about the NFC? The number one seed in the NFC is the Green Bay Packers they are 13 and four. I want to give a shout out to their head coach Matt Lafleur Matt Lafleur in his first three years with 13 and three, 13 and three, and then 13 and four. He is 39 and ten. In his first three years as a head coach in Green Bay and by the way, there were 6 9 and one the year before he got there. Everyone talks about how Matt Lafleur wins because of Aaron Rodgers. Oh, and I'm like, wow, wow, hold on. Aaron Rodgers wasn't winning before Matt lefleur got there. They're both imported. Aaron Rodgers is amazing. I love the guys. Incredibly talented. And I think that he's probably the FAP this year. But Matt Lafleur is a big part of why they're winning. Having a good quarterback and winning are very different things. And Matt Lafleur deserves some shine and some respect for what he's done in Green Bay. The number two seed in the NFC is the Tampa Bay Buccaneers there 13 and four. It's kind of weird, but I actually think Antonio Brown drama and the stuff circling the organization right now. I think it's actually good for their football team. Kind of like when Alabama lost to Texas a and M this year in college football, it's an opportunity for this team to use it to refocus and kind of get their gather themselves get back together. So we'll see, but I actually anticipate that the Antonio Brown stuff is going to have a positive effect on Tampa Bay. The number three seed in the NFC is the Dallas Cowboys they went 12 and 5. I am skeptical of Dallas. They've got a lot of talent, but they've got a lot of.

"The Green Bay Packers making their final preparations to take on the Saints in Jacksonville on Sunday. One man they're going to have to slow down to get a victory is this guy wanted to go deep? Swings it out Left side camera. He breaks one tackle still on his feet. 45 50 breaks. Another 45 left sideline, has a blocker to the 32 25 still on his feet, leading to the 10 to the five. The ends up touchdown there had to be four missed tackles, the last by Darnell Savage. At the five yard line. And it is a 50 yard scoring strike to Alvin Kamara Saints running back Alvin Kamara torched the Packers for 197 all purpose yards. When these two teams played early last season, Packers safety Adrian Amos knows Alvin is a special player. Yeah, he can do it all. He does everything for the reason you stuff the tackles because he does have that burst. He is powerful, um, has great balance. Um, great vision and and and he has a He has a burst that that you don't see coming. Just it's just everybody knows fast. So I would like to say deceptively fast, but it's you know, it's a birth where, um, you don't think he's about to accelerating. He does. So, um, he does a lot of things well like that. Matt Lafleur thinks it's going to take the whole team to slow him down. Alvin Kamara is a guy that Can make a lot of guys miss. And so we're going to have to be relentless to the football. We're gonna have to have multiple hats at the ball, and it's not just Alvin Kamara, but he's the one that kind of sticks out the most and kind of had made us look bad a year ago. So, um, you know, our defense understands what's in front of him and We just got to be relentless. We will see if Joe Barry's defense can contain them. "Uh, Matt LaFleur. Natalie Flores has success And you would say, because Aaron Rodgers doesn't matter, though, to NFC Championship game since he's been a head coach, Cliff Kingsbury zero playoff appearances since he's been a head coach, and they gave him the quarterback they wanted, so I obviously think That deserves to be on the hot seat. When you look at Matt Nagy, he doesn't deserve to be on the hot seat. Because now he gets an opportunity not only to start with a quarterback, he wanted an Andy Dawn. But if he decided to replace Andy Dog to now go with the quarterback, he wanted injustice. And we'll tell you let me J let me make another argument here. I want to hear you respond to this. We don't argue on this shaggy and, oh, there will be arguments key. There will be arguments. If we disagree. We just don't have to look for the argument. Now look. The, um Maggie and peace. To me. That's commendable, because it's eat like the whole problem in sports like in life, Short term incentive motivates behavior, usually over long term objective, right your short term incentive. What's Nagy and Paces short term incentive? They grab Justin Fields, which was smart. I was advocated for that before the draft. Like if you can move up and grab Justin Fields, do it. I even wanted the Giants to take them even though they had Daniel job that they heard that he could be a superstar, right? Now they got him. They got him. Now what's in your best interest as a coach and GM boy play him so you can start winning as soon as possible. To me. They're doing something commendable, which is Let's use Andy Dalton as a tackling dummy while we get this offensive line, situated and then bring in Justin Fields, who's obviously QB one right now, in terms of what they can do on the field. I like that J. I like the fact that that that that a head coach and GM are saying let's put the franchise ahead of the Team. Let's put our long term objective ahead of our short term incentive to me. That's a big thing. I don't know. Like to me. That means Nagy is not on my hot seat right now. Is not on your hot seat, so Couple of things were one with Matt Nagy. I hear what you're saying. But now you're telling me because of one moving moving up in the draft that just washes away everything that we saw last? Nobody has a quarter. I understand. He has a quarterback, and I understand it gives you some time. I mean it. Zach Taylor has a quarterback to coming off an injury. So shouldn't that buy him some time? Even though the organization is messed up, even though they don't want to spend money. They should give him some time with the quarterback. Let him be healthy. All I'm saying going back to clips. Kingsbury is when you look at that division man, That's a hard that's a hard division in football. Tough division. Russell Wilson Hall of Famer. Okay, the 40 Niners team that got to the Super Bowl. It wasn't that long ago. They were right. There had health issues last year. Look at the Rams. Avery Tool. Matthew Stafford, that defense They have sown improvement. It's like they haven't shown improvement. I mean, a year before they had a losing record. Last year, they were eight and eight. I know some games are close, but it's not like you're extremely disappointing of the season. They actually have to perform this year. But I'm saying just to go. Hey, we're in the hot seat because he hasn't had one playoff appearance, but they've showed improvement leading into the place. He I agree with that. And then the quarterback got hurt. In Arizona. The quarterback got hurt. Here's what I'm gonna say to both of you. You don't think they can win with the system, kid? It's not about The division being tough. It's everything you fired Steve Wilks to hire this guy because he didn't do what you thought in one year that you want it done. Now you allowed Steve kinds to bring in Cliff Kingsbury That was fire from Texas Tech because he couldn't get them to the freed Ole Bowl. But that's not clear. Kingsbury's so hold us kind. So then so then. You. Then allow him to tell you he needed a certain quarterback in Kyler Murray. In the National Football League in order to protect Kyler Murray, You've got to build the offensive line. You have to run the football something they've yet to do. They also went out and got J. J. Watt AJ green to decide that they're going to bolster up some things to make them better. They drafted Kristen Kirk from Texas A and M They haven't utilized him nearly As well as they should. Let's see what DeAndre Hopkins and and and green like together They can be an incredible tandem if they can stay on the field, but key what this is what I sense from you. Okay, So I'm going to play amateur psychologist here. You already know, Don't think it's fair, the way all the anyone connected to McVeigh or who reminded him McVeigh got these jobs. I agree with you, I I understand that. But now you've got to separate that out from the job Kingsbury's actually doing and what I saw you could. I'm not saying he's doing a perfect job. There aren't better coaches, but from what I saw last year, they were moving in the right direction until Kyler hurt his shoulder, and that changed everything for their season. Do you know who he hurt his shoulder against? Trying to remember Seattle right? A defense in Seattle that got after him. So when you were in this division and you plan up against these type of defenses, you've got to protect your quarterback. If you drop If you're dropping him back and having him throw the ball all over the lot. He's going to continue to take a pound. That's real. J. J That was a lot of quarterbacks doesn't allow his frame doesn't allow for him to take that pounding. And that beating in the National Football League that Prescott got hurt on an ankle injury. J totally different, So so. So Are you saying jail wanted, but I hear you saying when they have so much success when Kyler Murli Murray's running like you look at how much value he adds with his legs first heat is running back is much more much more than when they're running the ball with the backs. Keep running him, then. And see where you go. Go rolling. So what do you suggest, And you do have hot there again. I guess what happened? I understand you're making sense in terms of what exposes him to danger. I agree, But that's also what makes him special. How would Keyshawn Johnson head coach or offensive coordinator used Kyler Murray? Would he would be more in a West Coast system style offense for me more like Seattle. Get the ball out. Quick shore up the offensive line. Put him on the perimeter. A lot like they do what? Russell Wilson, half rolls things of that nature. All right. Well, he answered the question. Yes, you did. I mean Seattle to have great shakes at the offensive line, either, but a lot of times when Russ gets it, because he's holding the ball J. We got to run, but I know you wanted to say something. No, no, no. Hold off What we have. We got another three half hours ago. We have another 3.5 hours. That was straight Talk wireless. No contract. No compromise. By the way. How significant is it that Tyrod Taylor was named starter in Houston? We'll play hot news or not news after SportsCenter..

"About getting Erin's diaper change before he gets a rash that some commentary there some biting commentary from the 414. Steve, this is I love to read the critical one. Steve. You're the biggest cry, baby. You fit right in with the cry, baby NFL. Plus, you want everyone to know that you go to the games. What should I should I lie about that should I say I don't go to games when I go. I mean to tell you looking for exactly, But I think I see your insight is different from mine because I don't go to the games and I I I've said multiple times I really enjoy sitting in my home. I know where the bathroom is. There's no line. I know where the booze is. There's no line. I know where everything is. And I can sit there and watch it. So I don't know about big, booming voice radio guy. Yeah, it's too much. I just I just dial it down. I mean, Bill George does the stadium announcing he's I think he's got the right tone. He's good at. He's also sportscaster up there in Green Bay. He's got right, but this big, big voice radio guy he's like, so 19 eighties. It's It's pathetic and I don't know the guy could be the most. Wonderful human being in the world, not saying he's not a good person. It's like Mix it up a little bit. How about some range and the older who knows what game promo so I don't know what's going on behind the scenes as to who's maybe making him do that? You know what I mean? I'm sure the Packers organizations they don't like change. It's one of the most conservative organizations in the NFL. They don't like change to do the same thing over and over again. Until frankly, everyone else in the league has changed they go. You know, we should probably change that. Why don't they just put that up on the Jumbotron? I'm sure that will be all over the place instead of big boys radio guy. It just put it up on the jumbo. I don't know it's traditional right. Something's Met. The floor should worry about. How about not getting his quarterback killed with, uh, David back to carry out. How about that? Well, I think back CRE is a big like we were talking about If he doesn't come if he comes back in October, is that two earlier? I think that's a huge area of concern. How about his defense? Which has let him down over the last few seasons, Okay. How about his special teams, which suck Right where you are often almost often the worst ranked special teams in the NFL. How about fixing that? How about worrying about them? How about issuing a code of conduct for your special teams? How about a shout out a negative shoutout during your presser? Not for the fans, but for your special teams, players. Hey, pick it up. How about tackling? Maybe that's something Matt Lafleur should worry about. How about his hair? He looks like a Renaissance painter. This guy that's coaching the Packers. What's what's wrong with his hair? He's got the weird The weird like Machiavellian moustache, Beard thing going on. It's like, what are you doing? Matt LaFleur. Wow, We're going deep we are gonna do should worry about his general manager who apparently has angered his best player, I There's a lot of problems with that, dude. I mean, really, there's a lot of problems. He's the one to that needs to just step back and pump the brakes a little bit. Yeah, he's a confident guy, too. In his own way there. Listen. Ego is a huge part of the whole kit and caboodle. How about his career? Matt LaFleur if he keeps losing NFC Championship games, Isn't it sad were mad that they lose championship games like if you're a Bears fan, If you get to the championship game, you're like, happy because the last thing they got there was 2010. They got beat by the package, of course, who went on to win the Super Bowl. Yeah, well, you know, I certainly I mean, I know the Jets won the game, but they're not a very good team. So I we could be cheered for the Jets. We could be New Yorkers and having to cheer for the Jets. And that's we're lucky. Yeah, there's a Bears fans haven't had it so well for the last. Oh, gosh. No, but I I just You make a very valid point in the fact that once we get And worst, and we are so spoiled we once we once we get to that level, we just we insist and we want to win. I mean, it's almost like a foregone conclusion. In our minds. It's just like we're going to win this game. And then all of a sudden is want wall. It's a preseason game Mats and again. I have a lot of respect for every guy to do. What he's done in his first two seasons as coach is pretty remarkable, right taking Taking this team to the final four. And a lot of this stuff. Even the Aaron Rodgers story over the off season is related to losing that game to Tom Brady, the Buccaneers at Lambeau. Yeah, that was a tough loss to take it. You can see it in their faces. You could hear it in their voices, but at some point, it's a new season. And don't start the season. Matt LaFleur. By calling out your fans who last time I checked, have been very loyal to this team for. I don't know since the 19 sixties shelling out every game, what's that season ticket? Waiting list. 100,000 plus pretty loyal fans now correct me if I'm wrong, But didn't he give the didn't the offensive coach wasn't he calling the place while the floor was busy trying to squash the sound to people played played offensive coordinator last game. I'm not sure why he was handing those duties off. I'll have to dig a little deeper honesty, then that goes back to your poll of pay attention to the game. Stop worrying about what's happening now he's trying to. I think part of what he would say Probably. He's assessing the talent. That's the old Value of preseason in my mind. Is assessing the talent right? All those players around the edge that may make a team may not make a team will then keep looking at your team. Stop worrying about what the people are doing in the stand. I'm going to be interesting to see the reaction of fans this because I I'm guessing that the majority agree with them. Because I've seen that in the polling and I've just listening to the as they say, Read the room. But I don't and I think it's a It's a dumb thing to start a season with especially a season. By the way, that's going to see the return of fans in every seat at Lambeau Field. We got a break. The news is next. You're listening to Steven.

Aaron Rodgers Seems to Think the Packers Planned to Get Rid of Him After 2020
"The end. Game is only to end games. Rich he playing for the packers or he has forced to trade but if he does force a trade. I hope he's confined a team. That is better than the one that he's been to two straight. Nfc championship games point quarterback for any chance. He sits out a sees. No no no no not at says h no. It's two options. He doesn't taste your door to. That's right he only controls one of them can control the other one he can. He can control if he comes back and plays but he can't control if they train them or not and if they say you know you can pout. All you want you consider if that's what you want. We're not trading you. then he his hand is forced. And but what does the aaron rodgers who doesn't wanna be there. Look like when he's out on the field. I think what she gets out there. He's aaron rodgers again and again. Would you look at the field be shocked. Let's say let's just play this out. Say does go back to green bay. Okay which is what i think is going to happen. Say goes back to green bay. He's reunited he and matt. Lafleur go to couples counseling. Everything fine okay is it. Would it shock you to see them. Plan brady again in the nfc championship game. The next january. No no. they're a great team and they're a great greater team with him

"Overthinking things. A little too much. Just going to play in the playing the odds too much instead of your gut. Yep, That's a good way to put it. I mean, the way the way that I envision that Process happening. I mean, normally speaking, you've got you've got you got a guy upstairs in teams. They differ on this. But you get your analytics guy that has complete access to your play caller. In this case, Matt Leflore. My guess is on the third down When I again I thought Aaron Rodgers could have run the ball in. If not, he certainly would have been inside the five and e mean in. Rogers is a good athlete so third down when he climbed the pocket and then took off and then threw back across his body to Davante Adams, and that one almost got picked. I'm screaming at the TV. Run it when that thing opened up. He didn't But at that point My guess. Would be that the conversation between the analytics guru and Matt LaFleur. Would be very short and concise. Met numbers say you kick it. Sure numbers say you kick it. Hey. So he's a young coach is in the second year, I think is a really good coach. He's taking his team to the NFC championship game. But in this case, you know, I I just think I just think you have to give your guy a chance. To go for it and try to find a way to tie the game. They got down early in the entire game. I thought Green Bay was still gonna win. Fight it to the whole game. I did, too. I picked them to him. You know the two point conversion that was dropped by, say, Brown. That was huge. I mean, hit him right between the numbers, even though the ball was deflected. So Tom Brady for in his 117th, I think Super Bowl appearance thistles. What is this Attend 10th Super Bowl appearance ever. That's twice as many as any other player, John John Elway had five Just to put it in perspective. Any of the quarterback, right? Correct. Wow. And the Chiefs came Man that they look good. I thought the Chiefs played so well. They made the bills look like just an average team. Bills didn't play. The best game was not a good match up. You know, I did not like the way the bills played was worked for Josh Alan, But I picked the Chiefs. I didn't like the way they played in their last two games. Same here, you know they were You know, they beat the Ravens 17 to 3 17.7 of that coming on a pick six. So they didn't They're often seem to be just a little bit out of sorts. Um And and buffalo is, uh, is this zone zone team soft? Yeah. And I think you want to keep things in front of you. I mean, when you play Kansas City, it's easy for me to stay here in the studio telling me how to play Kansas City, but I mean, you've got to be able to You gotta be able to get up and disrupt receivers and you're gonna get some holding calls. You can't just sort of lay back and let them come on. Tony Rome will made a couple of points to that in terms of letting Travis Kelsey just come off a lot of scrimmage used to Travis Kelsey is gonna catch 20 balls. Yeah, I don't know. That s O. I think it's an interesting matchup with with Tampa in Kansas City. I think. Tampa you You put this down now Tampa will have 45 holding calls in the back end of the secondary. They'll have four or five of those, and they won't care. They're going to try to come up and they Todd Bowles will not just sit back. I mean, hell from time to time, he will lock guys up and try to come after my homes that the key for Tampa Bay to me defensively will be can they generate a pass rush with the four? And play coverage at times like San Francisco's game plan in the last Super Bowl Me San Francisco's game plan was spot on. They just, you know, they give up a huge play late in the game that that to me, is how really the only consistent way of playing and it gives you the best chance to try to be but, you know We'll talk about this in the next couple of weeks. Kansas City is the best team in football. And it's going to take a monumental effort for Tampa to win that thing. Yeah, really Impressive in, um, was watching part of the game. My wife was watching with me. She's a casual football fan. And even she noticed Tyree kill you, like Oh, my God. Look at this guy. He is so fast. It stands out to any even a casual family Go. This guy is he's not even human. As fast as he could move on the football field. Did you were you surprised the bills didn't adjust defensively at some point and because the chiefs were just killing him with underneath routes, just killing him. And then when you get the ball to Tyree kill Underneath. He's going to make a big play for you. You ever just it's it's a tough It's a tough thing because you don't want to give a big place. Kansas City lives on big place in Kansas City when they beat Tampa in Tampa earlier this year, 27 24, But that game was not really as close as the final score would indicate. Tampa had a couple of late scores. But they gave a big big down the field shots. The Tyree kill did Tampa so this sort of have Buffalo plays? I think Buffalo thought their front for, um, could maybe get a little more pressure ma. And at times they did. They just couldn't get homes on the ground. He's so good it just feeling pressure and sliding away. He's much bigger and stronger than You know that he appears to be on TV. Pat Mahomes is close to £230. These 63. I mean, he's tough to get on the ground, and you know he's very patient in the pocket. He's just an extraordinarily good player. He's by far the best player in the world and second place honestly, is not even all that close. That's that's what Kansas City's got going for. Who's second Aaron Rodgers at the quarterback position. Car and Who would you take right now? After Mahomes Push. Yeah. Yeah, probably. Yeah, I'm with you on that. I mean, I like to Shawn. What There's there's There's a handful plus of really, really good quarterbacks. But to me, you look at yesterday's games. You get Rogers with Green Bay. You got Brady with Tampa. You've got homes with Kansas City. You got Josh Allen with buffalo. That's the final four last four standing But if you don't have one of those guys Playing quarterback. You just You know, you're just out there. At some point today we should talk about The Matthew Stafford. Possibility, not just Matthew Stafford that when you look at the list of quarterbacks that might be available. This year. Get in the off season. It's a pretty good list and some big names on their team. Who do you like? Besides Stafford? Matt Ryan would be an interesting choice. I think here Yeah, went Would be an interesting choice..
LaFleur defends FG decision: Felt like right move
"Jason there's a lot of people on social media that are talking about the way. Aaron rodgers handled the post game. Press her saying that he constantly throws head coaches or his team under the bus. What are your thoughts on. That is the case. That was not the sense. I got from his post. Game and matt lafleur clearly through His defensive coordinator. Mike patton under the bus for the touchdown right before halftime. He said we're in man coverage that's the wrong coverage to be in. I put that on the coaching staff. We can't make that mistake. I look. he's throwing an interception. I was crucial right He had the third down run. The key mentioned that he didn't take so. I don't think aaron rodgers played a perfect game by any stretch. But i do think that that's the problem with the packers is that he has to play perfect for them to win more often than not. I mean tom. Brady threw three interceptions. Packers didn't turn those into enough points. But they had the margin for error that the goat can throw three interceptions and they can still win. The game i. I do think that that might be part of rogers. Frustration is that he feels like he he. He does not have any margin for error in game like this. It's a great point. Three second-half interceptions to boot and tom. Brady's off to super bowl number. Ten and is jason said for the first time in about ten years rogers at an opportunity but again it's cut short have a great show today. I'm sure the callers are actually lined up right now. Thanks to anytime guys playing great stuff. They're really good

"Finally take the field against Los Angeles Rams in the divisional round of the playoffs. The Packers enter today's game loose and focused, according to head coach Matt LaFleur, who relied on veteran leadership to carry out the messaging throughout the practice week. It's always great to have veteran leadership, especially for guys that are gonna go out and play for the first time in a playoff game, the Packers will not have defensive lineman Kingsley Kiki, who remains of the concussion protocol. As for the Rams quarterback Jared Off is just two weeks removed from thumb surgery on his throwing hand over and over hitting it. There is a slight soreness, but nothing that's hindering me in any way, pragmatic WTMJ Sports and Packer fans on the West Coast plan on making their presence known in enemy territory. That's a lot of transplants in Los Angeles, and there are a lot of Pakistan's out here. Recent famous is originally from Wauwatosa but is now wrapping the green and gold in Los Angeles.
