"Here the not so yes because you don't told me in life environments don't matter sociology is talking fail. You tell me environment that this is what this is about. Best way explaining my mentality beach in college. I had a real muscles like looking like you. Kinda like like that. And i remember one day. I took off bus shirt. Why because i have any money. I have a car so that was the only thing i had. I had a jury day. We will look at this right. I can put a pistol between anyway. Couple of girls to planet off. Now i want the number. Okay i got you. I got you know we had to write it down cells anyway. This is what my my set was the girl. That didn't come up to me. I had to go talk to them. So don't go over. there is no. I ain't getting gonna number if i go over. There are no which already started from or is a. Yes cordray if you know up. They're trying to bring that pain. You hear ran over but if you run up to like want something maybe you get the number. Maybe not approved cover was on the floor. Said the packers were too high on themselves. Going into the season. I love you. We'll tell you if he's keeping at one hundred only keep it at ninety nine. Bet they'll speak for yourself. Running on on week. Aaron rodgers returned. Mvp form and the packers. Don't back last night after an awful week one but highlight of the reason why. The team struggled in their season opener. Y'all take a listen. You can never get too high in yourself in this league because you will be humbled in a hurry. I think you know that happened to us a week ago. So sale is matt floor keeping it a hundred ninety nine given one hundred you know why because they went out there with their to. Nfc championship gains in a mentality and plan to new orleans saints so they thought jameis winston was the old capital bait jameis. Winston and got gordon ate the whole posse. Yes he's keeping an eye on this one. I think keeping the ninety nine because it was just one final shot. Rogers really what he was really trying to say is a rogers. I remember you back talking me. After last week's remarks i'm gonna get one final jab in now we can move on down this petty for us. We'll see the mall..

"Goodyear hotline ki. Did you see any big adjustments from the packers ushered in. Call it adjustment. I would call the game plan. That they went into the new orleans game with is different in a game plan that they went in detroit. I wouldn't call it in jesmyn. I would call it being ready for what detroit with throw at you. Pose the not being ready. For what new orleans have for you so i wouldn't necessarily call it an adjustment because the defense is a different new orleans is going to run some things with different. Variations of what detroit is now. Mind you green bay being. I'm sorry detroit's defensive coordinator. Aaron glenn was the secondary coach in new orleans for the last however many years so he understands what new orleans did to green bay. Green bay also understands what happened in new orleans. Aaron glenn is going to try duplicate. Whatever success new orleans has to pre pre-game chess match so we already know where we go into the game with. We got to hide. There's to shale is going to be covered to. Oh we're gonna run the ball. Oh we're going to run the same route with tied in. And they're going to drop the mic in the middle of the field. He won't be able to chase my guy down the middle here ninety mile. Put it right over. Show to score touchdown. Now it's that simple jaded. You see adjustments. I saw them just key can explain it because it didn't air rogers talk about like they were to shale you're trying to show or to cover right to come. Excuse me. what does that mean. What is basically. No i g i know what that means but why why was he saying. That's what the saints ran. That's why we couldn't. We couldn't because they probably went into the game. Plan looking at one thing and the saints. So that you know didn't did not run cover tutti entire game. It was mixed in a different dow's and distances. And i'm sure at that point in time. Aaron nim place election didn't match what they were doing from a defense standpoint so they were not getting out of bad plays into good plays against the defense where they were ready for the for war for detroit based on the preparation from new orleans because no all new orleans all detroit defense is doing the same thing as did a week before aaron rodgers saw an adjustment. That matt floor made which led to a big night for aaron jones. This is rogers. Lisa saulters kind of the way they were playing. They're trying to take away a devante too high. He has matchups on linebackers for a lot of the game. So mad up some some. Good schematic plays and then. He just made a much boys on his own now just like last week just one game but how important was it to get right tonight. I mean it's it's one game we're one of one now one division so we feel good about things but it's early in what happens in that situation is matt leflore and aaron rodgers. They say what are they doing in the floor says what are sitting in two. They haven't gotten out of it there. In to seventy percent of the time they're gonna stay into their into on third down fifty seven percent of the time when you get to the plus twenty. Here's what they're doing so now you've got all the information so you already know. Oh we just run the ball in to get him out of it. Oh they're not going to get out of it. Okay we bomb. Oh they still not going to run the ball and that's just how it goes so when people were on rogers because you hear the sound bite from rogers last week about about that's why jay brings up to shell and we didn't make adjustments. Rogers isn't necessarily saying they didn't adjust at all right. No he's not saying that he just saying at the time in which they needed to make the adjustments to counter at punch. They didn't right. They just sit set back in allow new orleans to get the best of them opposed to saying themselves. Oh they're running cover to go to our two beaters. They didn't do that. Where against detroit. They anticipated what new orleans did. Detroit.

"Reaction. Obviously the what. Aaron rodgers said yesterday around the sports world there's a lot of conversations and predictions and everything projections and a lot of that. We will ultimately end up doing that. As well. we will pick are super bowl teams today. Why recall one year ago. Aj hawks said he thought the dallas cowboys and the kansas city chiefs will be in the super bowl. He said that with a straight face because big mike mccarthy was going down to dallas and he had the utmost faith in them. They lose their franchise quarterback aj look like a stooge route the entire year and we referenced. Numerous times as the season one on i did predict tampa bank kansas city. Although i wasn't the only one okay. A lot of people were predicting that when you look at the roster when you look at the paper what those two teams were expected and projected to go. So maybe this show. I'll make something different. Maybe i'll shake it up a little bit. Kent with with the boys can't wait to hear what any jayhawk things. Well chuck pagano on today. Hey coach at all levels of football for like thirty three years before retiring last year was last with the chicago. Bears defense coordinator. He's sailed off into the sunset after beating obviously leukemia in every football team. I think the mets amount of stories that he has he was my coach. I'm very thankful for. He created chuck. Strong i mean a foundation. That is raised. Like i think at this point. Maybe one hundred million. I don't know that. Seems like a lot but i think they've raise like twenty forty fifty mil. I don't know a lot of say. Just bet two million dollars. Free throw together chuck strong foundation incredible legendary human. He'll be joining us every single wednesday this season for a nice coach up chuck segment where we will ask him about situations. That coaches a found themselves in the thought of some coaches and he told us the other day. He's looking to get a job with anybody anymore. So fucking chuck chuck. He'll join us in the second hour. Also your phone calls on the five orange fell nine one eight three three four mcafee. We cannot wait to hear you. The toxic table is here at schmidt. Day was awesome era tuesday. It's back it feels like football season again. I am ready for sunday. I am so goddamn excited. It's awesome just like the first couple of aaron rodgers tuesday's last year. A lot of people said like this is terrible. What are we doing why we doing this so new people that maybe didn't experience aaron rodgers tuesday last year got a chance to experience this year and they still have the thought of this prima picker. Whatever a lot of there's tweets yesterday because there was like forty thousand people watching at one point yesterday day after labor day season hasn't even started no deal checking on the people's numbers when they go live that's awesome. They're helping us out though because big deals they're signing is inevitably going to make our deal colossal but there is a legend obviously incredible football winning sits down and chats with us. I feel like we learned so much mentally. He seems to be it seems stay was last year which was body feels good. He's happy he's at easy. Enjoys matt floor enjoys his teammates. Enjoys the offense and this might be a year where he's saying fuck. Everybody and i can't wait to watch this whole thing. I'm excited for rogers tuesday's. Us an incredible question. Poor yeah well you know. I haven't talked to you a while true. I've said hey listen. I don't want you to throw anybody under the bus or throw. Did you say yeah. I was kind of giving him the out. Hey i'm not expecting you to throw anyone under the bus but a lot of us were hoping you know which by the way is my question tactic it a lot of people say get a bit wordy but then they listen to the show a little bit and like oh this is what he's doing. I'm giving the bullshit can't answer so they can't give it k- so when i ask a question you'll hear me do this and i've done this. My entire life to everybody and people are hated early but then they realized that if you stick with me why i'm doing it. I am explaining the answer that he could give just to get out of it. What i'm asking somebody a question. We know that in then i'll go into the bullshit and then i put it on and what you see from some people that maybe you've never been on the show before they'll sit digest that thing and they'll say fuck i can't just say what he just said to give a different answer in. Normally we find that there's a little bit of a deeper answer coming from people right. I think i. I take a lot of pride in how we chat with people. I think we get a lot of out of people. Aaron rodgers yesterday gave us a zen life quotes his mindset breaks down how he feels. I mean it is unbelievable. He is one of these smart humans. I've ever talked to we started fucking book club dispelled a huge rumor. That had been going on for a long time. Now in what was a pivotal piece in the kind of like the fracturing of the relationships never fucking. I am so excited for it. I think. Yesterday last night i was scrolling through the internet and reaction to it and i enjoy it and i am somebody that does you know i look at my mentions like i. I am somebody that goes through. I think you have to by the way. If you're somebody that doesn't how do you have any idea. Pulse of what people were feeling reacting to what you're doing how you're doing it. Maybe a little criticism from people. Now you can't take one tweet and be like okay this person's right but if it becomes a constant maybe it's like all right. Maybe i gotta look at your little now. We don't work for a network. Obviously i assume the executives and a suits tell people that for me. It's just. I'm going to listen to the people you know yesterday's reaction. We sold fuck books. Yesterday i nine. I don't know the depths of a lot of shows. We fucking moved books yesterday. That's what i saw on twitter. People were screen. Shotting the alchemist. The author put it up. I think actually path and we're going to be releasing shirt for the aaron rodgers book club. Obviously that is very elementary design. We please it together as quickly as possible..

"Who would be a good story. I'm not going to deny that particularly considering what happened this off season. But it's really about him piggybacking off of a team. He felt doubted him. Winning the league. Mvp but coming up short of a super bowl appearance and then following that up with a super bowl championship. It really comes down to that. The reason why is not nearly as interesting as compelling as you try to articulate is because the packers are not a follow meaning. They're not an opponent that you get to knock off in route to your ascension. You see what i'm saying. The packers themselves that's the organization he plays for so even if he proves people wrong and goes out there and plays lights out windsor super bowl championship. Max a gouda. Kansas and hurt by that mark. Murphy isn't hurt by that. The packers organization isn't hurt by that. The fans aren't hurt by that because they all get a super bowl championship because of it and because this is not basketball is the sport of football. You yourself has not have acknowledged that good akins good accounts okay has done a pretty damn good job back to back trips to the nfc championship. Game matt floors. Well okay the roth that. He's accumulated some of the decisions. What the twelve players that azaruddin's throughout the during his epic press conference about how nine of those pretty damn good decisions by gouda cuts no matter. What amer rogers says so. There's no way that aaron rodgers wins the super bowl and guna cuts and murphy and those boys don't end up receiving some sean from it because they'd be super bowl champions to his story. Here's the ultimate story and put me up on screen..

"Competent. Okay sam darnold. Didn't have that so they've had back-back really good drafts. I believe the second thing is their defensive line is outstanding and just engulf the giant so he the jets defense is gonna shut down a lot of offenses upfront. And that means zack's not to have to drop forty eight so baker's first couple years in this league he had to get an shootouts. That's not what you want. Baker mayfield now with the improved secondary is going to win games. Twenty six twenty three baker. All these quarterbacks are better even big ben. We found out there all better when you don't ask them to save the team. Even mahomes want him throwing thirty times a game. Not forty two who you shouldn't. You shouldn't be asking your quarterback to save the team every single week. That has a ceiling. What you want is to have a quarterback who in moments in crucial situations can do that not every single week big throwing fifty times three weeks in a row that means you have some serious problems and eventually someone's going to be able to stop that because it's a it's a one dimensional system so yes you wanna player. That can step up in those big moments and carry the team in when it's necessary but not every single week and if you're a rookie. Us most certainly shouldn't be asking someone to do that. i think that's what happened with. Joe borough last year so jordan. Lovelock's gooden's preseason game with the packers completed twelve seventeen passes for one hundred twenty two yards touchdown. He was strip sacked at the end of the first half was forced. Leave the game after straining his shoulder he got an mri which came back clean and matlock floor. Were showing it here. Matt floor said love is feeling better now than did on saturday but he will not participate in practice today so a little bit of a disappointing end to the game there for love. You really want to see him. Get through the preseason healthy so you can get as many as possible. But i think he had a good doing and he's not a rookie but obviously this is the first time that we've there. It's probably overuse. They talk about twitchy. He's a pretty twitchy athlete. He's a big tall. lean guy. like exact wilson. The ball comes flying out of his arm. Listen he even in college. We said he's an athlete like the he. There's a reason he got drafted. It's called patrick. Mahomes like you looked at his college tape. And you're like oh he's big and running around trae landfill to it where he looks like the best athletes on the field easily at quarterback the only issue with jordan love is. I wonder what the pressure is going to be on him. If aaron rodgers ends up leaving because of the way that the packers handle all this and the drama sued it's it might turn up the expectations and pressure on him earlier than needed. Be good stuff joy with the news. Well that's the news and thanks for stopping by. It's i really did. I sat there this weekend. And some teams i was you know it was really funny. Is when the buccaneers. Got tom brady. It's really amazing. When you get the the quarterback in place it makes everybody look smarter. I had said this. About bruce arians. I like bruce but he's kind of cocktails early easygoing guy. He tried broadcasting. You didn't feel like he was kind of into it. He retired from arizona. I said is he ready for tom. Brady's intensity and it's worked it's all worked. But when i watched a little bit of tampa this weekend that roster so we never talked about on this show their general manager jason light. We never talked about him. Brady shows up. And he makes all the pieces work and suddenly. You're like that's definitely the best roster in the nfl. They don't even have a weakness like like kansas city's good buffalo's good baltimore's good. There are units that you're kinda sub optimal. Is that when you get the quarterback right. I mean pete carroll went to seattle and big deal at. Usc goes to seattle and all that stuff. They're seven and nine seven and nine and they were losing a bunch of kind of competitive close games and they had matt flynn. Russell shows up instead of losing by four. They win by four. And now because the defense doesn't have to be on the field all the time because a russell wilson. Now you're like oh the defense is great. Well that's because the defense didn't have to be on the field. Because russell wilson was extending plays and giving them enough points and the seahawks defense was playing with a lead and you have a good defense and they lead. The good defense is even better because then they can pin their ears back in. So we've said this before. The colts have done everything right. They just can't get the quarterback right in your like if they do. That's why i think it was imperative that you went out and you go for it with carson wentz. Because they got everything else right. They've drafted right the been smart and free agency. They got the right codes the offensive line. Good there's not many good offensive lines in football but the colts we gotta go for it. And that's that's how i feel about san francisco. I like the gm. I like the coach. I like the. I like the d. line. I like their tight end. I like they just got to get this quarterback right. I don't think trae lance is ready to do it yet. I think jimmy garoppolo is if he can stay healthy but it but it does go to show you is that the nfl has built its league. It is so now and some teams more than others. Right you don't feel like the niners are quite as quarterback reliant as you know the rams. I'm trying to think kansas city. I mean let's be honest when you have the world's best play designer. Andy reid the quarterback becomes really important a last year. The steelers were very reliant on big ben. They had no running game. But you know a lot of these businesses. You read stories about this all the time. I think we forget that bill. Belichick was five and eleven in new england. And was he was fired in cleveland and then brady just kind of makes it all work and everybody's genius and i guess my. My bigger point is in basque. Football is done. This is that they have become so quarterback reliant because of all the rules. Here's the good news. If you get it right it just guarantees. you're going to be good for a decade is almost like the. Nfl's like okay that teams taken care of. Let's let's cross our fingers in that. The downside is if they get hurt it just discombobulated everything and i think the colts when i watched them or the team in the league. Everything right. They've got to get the quarterback right. That's why you go out and spend the money on carson wentz Because there's only about one per draft one kid that comes out per draft who can overcome average so the the whole business of the nfl is. I sat and watched this weekend. Is watch trevor lawrence in my take away. Oh he's fine. Trevor lawrence is fine but you gotta get. He can't win with this. He'll win six seven games but the sport has really put it all on the coach and the quarterback this is what and man it looks like. There's more good quarterbacks than ever so a couple of years ago everybody was freaking out about the nfl. Ct moms aren't letting their sons play. Football the nfl. Meanwhile was making the game. Less violent. More quarterback friendly and the quarterback position is exploding in america. You watch these camps go online. You see these highschoolers. It's like these guys are all these guys like four years away from and the nfl and they're like six five hundred ninety. They're skinny huge arms. I it's it really is. The quality of quarterback talent is absolutely unbelievable. Tony boselli is gonna join us. Eventually around the corner escape quickbooks quicksand with net sweet by oracle the number one financial system net sweet offering one of a kind financing. "I don't think he was about to come back anytime. Yeah no. I don't think he was all right. Greg you're up. Let's go green bay because i. I don't think it's been talked about it enough. That david bahktiar the best left tackle in football. I think it's trending towards not playing week. One you know protecting aaron rodgers. There's a chance he could go on the pop lists sounds more likely. Maybe they'll keep them off of it and hope hope that he returns early in the season. But that's a big deal for for an offensive line. That also lost their senator. Corey lindsey to the charges and yet. I'm not that worried about it. Because they've been playing elting jenks jenkins at left tackle. He's a third year player. Who's played everywhere. I'm at the point. Where i just think elkton jenkins getting like make all the money in the world by playing left tackle who else has played guard center. And then if he does it left tackle at like a pro bowl level in the first three years of his career. He's sneaky been one of the best draft picks good accounts this kind of stat quietly stacked up some pretty good draft picks as i one is dire alexander. An all pro jenkins if he steps in at left tackle. No one's going to make more money than him. Reportedly the spurs are just that he's shutting down the packers pass rush that he looks totally natural out there and that they're not as concerned about the whole left. Tackle situation was a couple of weeks ago. That matt floor had a comment about the green bay's line saying that was sort of as deep as any line. He'd really ever been around that there is a lot. There are a lot of valuable moving pieces there. And they're starting a rookie at center. They're just gonna draft. Josh myers played them right away. Even though he's not like a first round pick or anything and they sound pretty confident. Leffler just seems confident. General taken taking shots at arthur smith earlier today. I don't know if you saw that dismissing going right back though. Well yeah. Smith smith started started. It said let's let's listen. I don't think i'm sweeten an awesome. I don't spend our like four. Does lemaire before you morons out there so you can tell madison. Leflore say in retort. I'm honored that he would think of me First of all. But you know arthur. I did sherlock room together in tennessee. So yeah i might have been looking in the mirror getting my clothes right while he was trying to get his hair right with that. Just for men. I know you guys you guys know. He's younger than me right at spicy. You could tell matt leflore. Prepare that and that's arthur. Smith went back again and he was glad he was like. I'm glad you know. Matt spent like another day preparing that joke to come back at me. It does like if if i'm in the locker room in tennessee. And that's where they were teammates. I guess colleagues on the same staff with titans. Like i'm taking arthur smith kind of in a jab back and forth. It feels like leffler is not going to be as quick. Not the i like coach. We don't know him that. Well that i would predicted to come out with such a burning arrow that goes right through matlock floor. That was pretty nice job by smith. Yeah but nothing ends this. I was gonna say nothing cuts deep. Keith answer can naturally tossing off. He looks like a bearded boy. Danny i like this law guy but boy does he. I wanna talk packers. But they do feel like all we did was talk about. Aaron rodgers is psycho drama all offseason. Yeah that's very little on the phone but also looking for some sort of good packers are felt good. Good now and yeah i refused. I wanna go back down this road. Because i know it's very unpopular in the public forum to say anything critical there in rogers and his role and what happened over the summer Public opinion was very much in your favor. Greg over really. Aaron rodgers elite here in the mar mark and you have been hearing the chirping too much of ireland where i i don't mind the chirping it. Just it's okay to be aware of what's around you as well greg and i'm just saying like that's fine. If if everyone thinks aaron rodgers is a god and there's nothing he could do that is wrong and everything that the management does a is wrong that that is what it is. But can we at least allow the brian. Goudie counts the guy. That roy rogers has been trying to get fired for. Six months has actually done a lot to help aaron rodgers whether he sees it or not in his time at the helm or will you least allow that no one with the subtitle one. Today it was like ninety eight percent to two percent like greg. It sounds smart. Dan and marked on what they're doing daily things about this. You gotta turn tune these clowns out you gotta tune them out no weeks ago but it was a shocking response to what i thought was a two sided conversation. You're absolutely right by the way. Here's what he did the start. He fired mike mccarthy. We'll get the hard knocks layered later..

"Ask leader who listening to play ball exclamation point from the game. Ken griffey junior presents. Major league baseball for the super nintendo composed by christo joe paul tongue matthew cannon and jeff and tim fallen and you can hear the fallen influence all over this. This sounds like pictionary so hard. And i'd like the fact that last break. How sales has this weird smear style. Where like it starts out and it sounds like it's based off of the china someone's always like time to play ball very running out on the field and the prep it up and then he had that style cheese whereas like now they're actually playing the ball of which they requested. We did when guitar comes. Data both getting pitched right getting hit right now. Let's play ball. Everyone's stepping on the field. Everyone's got their bats in the they're grooving and they're dancing getting position discovery in a position. Chicken their hips. But then we're berm. Oh like well wait a minute. Sound baseball pitchers spitting on his glove. He's got the ball. Ball's going out back cracks it out and saying throwing the ball at people wait knocks out the pit knocks off the catcher knocks out the batter knocks other therapies. A whole new salad baseball matt baalbek nat ball game. Put kids in the hospital kickball as we used to call know they were different now. Kickball was basis like baseball. Where you know someone roll the ball you and then you run the basis. Catchy throw it. This is this is starting to sound familiar. Matt bull was a pattern of some variations. Why more matt floor mats multiple four mass represented the basis more than one person could be bill one mad at a time. It was in a run in either direction. He you can still score going and counterclockwise. You couldn't change direction. Clockwise would either excellent once you start going with get to continue going with or once you start going to continue going right around the basis and it got violent because mac could slide on the floor and again had multiple people basis being covered by the one guy so you try to get it and you get a guy who slide in the mac goes with him tumbling all the players on the floor but when you play did you play like both teams at the same time at the same time for both teams on the bed. It was still one team boy. Calamity of it all you can have. It could be a scenario where like no one outright scores. Because there's never been safe but you have like three people want to second base and now everyone's heading this one sponsored. You have to get a really good kicks just branch out. That reminds me of night reminds me but it gives me the idea like oh i wish baseball was a little bit more exciting. Right matt ball would do it. Do you remember you. Probably i mean. I don't know if you would remember. But the they tried to make a new football league. Call the xfl extreme. Football extreme football league like in the late nineties or something. The name rings. The bell maybe competed with extreme wrestling. So if they did a probably because the the producer and the person who came up the idea was vince mcmahon from world wwe wwe. Yeah and it was him and a bunch of other like football players from other leagues and stuff. And then they'd be. They've made it so. It was super super fast so like points were were were lower scoring. They had to score more. They shorten the length of the field. They've shortened only did on the field and there's something else where like instead of like a coin toss or this or that. It was like a scrum in rugby where they would throw the ball in the air and they had to go for it but the the league didn't last because there are so many injuries that sounds more contact more aggression but ken griffey junior played for the seattle mariners for ten years and he he was playing until two thousand seventeen thousand eight like he was one of the oldest like professional players longtime and ninety. This came out in ninety four. I think it was. He was in the all star game and did like a homerun derby in the baltimore stadium. Oh cool he's the only person in history to hit a home run that hit the warehouse outside of the field real right about that. I do that warehouses to talking about. This is pretty cool so Like no one's ever done it before except for ken griffey junior. He's grown with that too. That's right. I'll put that right there on. That's the extent of my ken. Griffey junior knowledge has a lot more than mine. I know i know he's a junior. Well my i was going to be really easy and straightforward because on the news. It's me super frazier now for the record making super frazier for the super nintendo. And i thought that was a real game. And i looked i went looking for it so well played their super frazier to add these adventure. I mean let's be real though there were. Snes games coming out for like tv shows. They had no home. Improvement had video. Super fraser three roz on the run. That could exist. 'cause frazier just had. They just make them stop something and he would. I know he probably. I think where he gives a speech in a calms all the enemies down so stop attack him. Onscreen cut scenes where you had to choose the right thing to say. Yeah am listening. Yeah they totally do it because again they made. They gave george jetson and tim allen and hell their freia full house video game ended up but like somebody cared otherwise. Have no business being in a video game. They gave them video games our action based so there you go so well played it could exist. So so what is this. The first game is the first time i think on this summer. Sixteen bit wear. "They are. don't want to get too caught up in a moment but this feels like nine wins could win the division a nine and eighteen. Come out of this division. And even the titans stumble this year. I feel like that's where they can get All right next the number seven division. A little bit of a surprised at the the nfc coming in sixty three point. Two five out of one hundred was the average weighted score. I don't know if average weighted is the right terminology to say with a cons intelligent and then if somebody on that sub read it and then mark revenue weighted in any way. So i don't think greg you got just you gotta go with the word waited and just save to save. But that doesn't sound good just like oh the average average this pop tonight some incorrect. We have the favorite. The heavy favorite is the packers. We have them. At our average score was eighty five out of one hundred which is very good. But it's interesting the true super bowl level teams that are seen as favorites. We all kinda had them. Those teams in the early nineties eighties. So it seems like as a group we see the packers as maybe just a click below those great teams but they're still a heavy favourite in this division. The packers the vikings distant second seventy out of one hundred which actually is a little high thought and then the reason why this is so low. This division is that the bears lines are weighing them down. The lines are buried at forty one and half The bears at fifty six and a half. Surprise me a little bit. I thought they would have a little more juice and you guys would be a little more into them but apparently not so the fact that the division has one very good to great team one team. That's a little on the bubble and then two teams we see his afterthoughts held back division as a whole. Where did everybody fall on the vikings. I'm high on the vikings. I thought they were team. Three and a half. I think was like the one note. I took their the ultimate three and a half team and i think that could be better. I'm trying to be conservative. I think they have a chance to win this division. I think their defense will be good. I think their offense will be good enough. And they. I don't i don't see them as to differently than i did going into last year. Or maybe even a little better on paper than than they were going into last year when they're coming off a division title. I'd consider it a shocker. If if the packers lost the division to any one of those teams. But i'm with you. That the vikings to me and i had the i have a couple teams the cardinals just sort of like three and a half type. You're you're a b. plus. I trust you to annoy me long enough and then get completely mashed in the playoffs at some point. It's same old story. I think you guys all have them at eighteen out of twenty five score. And i had them at sixteen. I kirk cousins is the most three and a half out of five quarterback that he's not a three mr three and a half four. He's mr three and a half out of five And i think a little bit more on defense and i talked about it earlier this week that they have so much turnover i think they have sixteen New members of their defense that it just such a titanic task for to now put those guys and get that team playing. But if zimmer who's a defensive guy gets done by two and a half score that should be a little higher also don't have a ton of juice for them. The genetic was only two out of five for me fair. That's fair but they have a chance to beat up on the on the bears and lions and. I think there's a chance all the defensive talent is a huge upgrade. I guess defense where. I'm coming from there. Also get like yeah. They have a ton of new faces as starters but they get neil hunter back who had the neck injury missed all of last year. Anthony barr missed like fourteen games like pierce opted out so they have a couple of guys that are returning actually big factors. I think in that. I trust zimmerman. I don't need the packers fans to remind me. I know that. I said they won the division two years ago. They did not. They famously gagged on monday night. Football in front of keith kansas. Well and mark and dan. I'll watch them and they didn't make the playoffs but that's that's on key. Kansas labeled matt floor little boy with a beer. And i've never gotten that sense. Come on guys didn't even show up. That's exactly what number six a little bit of a surprise That they're this high the nfc east and the slight favorite according to this group And my computations my waited computations. Sex really is the dallas cowboys at seventy one and a half so we are as a group sucked in once again by the cowboys. The summer of hype around everything with this team has a seeing them as the division favorite just slightly over the washington football team at seventy and a half the giants far behind the package fifty nine and a half and then the eagles connie buried at fifty five So they are they have this division. According to our Overly esoteric division power rankings has to kind of eight to ten teams and then two teams. That are kind of afterthoughts here with the the cowboys. The big question is the defense. How that rebounds with dan quinn with i mean they have a lot of different pieces but last year. It was just so horrendous to watch..

"Live on line. One you're on with keyshawn. J. zubin was so. It is only open vegas i got a. I just want to talk about tom. Brady and bill belichick was sixty forty. You know until. Tom brady won. You know. now it's fifty fifty. But i believe bill belichick would've went to the bucks. He would have won a boat to with that same roster when you guys thing. It's kind of hard to say right. I don't know feo. Now maybe if he brought. Josh dines with them maybe if he had i mean listen it was no secret that tampa bay had a tremendous roster. Right you know winston was able to be successful and if you had tom brady limited deters you knew that they were going to be right there for but it's hard to say to bill belichick. In the way that he goes about business would have been able to to motivate this. This group right. Tom brady went down there because he wanted to play a certain way with a certain type of freedom. I think we agree that we enjoy the tampa time a lot. Better than new england time because he's a lot more transparent and actually a little bit funny. Yeah forgetting to play a little loose not really under patriot way clamps did you will but this is one of my most frustrating conversations in all of sports bar. If i'm being honest how do you cut the pie. Go ahead and cut the pie for me. Because we've been dealing with this in green bay for the last co since. Drafty how much. Aaron rodgers responsible for the packers success. How much of it is brian. Good coons how much of. It is matt floors scheme. You can't cut the pie. you can't tell me. Aaron rodgers is seventy five percent responsible for their success. Because he's playing with guys. Brian good coons put around him and he's playing under matt leflore scheme so right there. I don't even know how split pie between the patriots when you talk about tom brady. And we're talking about bill bell. Check it well. You know how we're going to measure it right. We're we're gonna measured by who continues to win championships. Brady wins another one and and and and bill doesn't go to the super bowl and we're going to say. Hey well i guess it was all about tom. Brady not really over overlooking all the talent that he has on on the roster. Our nfl nba insider. Adrian will hausky johnny tweeting restricted. Free agent forward. John collins has agreed to a five year. One hundred and twenty five million dollar deal to stay with the atlanta hawks. He tells the agents go ahead and tell him that. I've been noticing that this year. A lot more agent you know. Give them giving them a little shout out there all the work with the contracts and whatnot but are starting to see a lot more of it being posted. We'll agents are trying to put out there because they're recruiting. They're trying to say. Hey guys getting on a big contracts. Let me tell you who who did that. Who did that. I did that and this is the thanks i get. I started this barbecue. It's a great way started this barbecue. I one more call. We'll get to a very quickly as we play. Caller roulette here on k. jay z. Gotta be gotta be paying six six. Got to be quick. Johnny from new jersey does wessel Westbrook make the lakers. Never been efficient. Never been playing nice with others. Tell you what is gonna come down to his ability to be able to perform in the clutch. Who knows i mean he he. He averages the triple double he. Averages a triple double better..

"Another player the giants worked out but haven't signed yet is a familiar. Face named cody core. Who if any of you guys remember. He tores a ilise early last season. I believe it was and was left off the roster and now he's fully recovered. And cody core. He's a wide receiver. Nothing much to write home about from that skill set but he is an exceptional player in terms of being gunner on special teams which is very valuable in the nfl. Specifically for the thomas. mcgahey joe. Judge tom quinn. Special teams unit because last year. Cj board did a good job in that role and then he ended up getting hurt. And obviously you also need to gunners. And i feel like they used a hodge podge of players. And it wasn't they couldn't really honed down on one core. I think core. See what i did there but i do believe he can if he proves. These healthy earned that role next to cj board or possibly. David sills who is another person. Flashing camp right now. According to a lot of reports and somebody who's flashing camp a lot in the past but then never got injured. So i think core could have shot if he gets the chance to come back to. The new york. Giants will see if that happens in the coming days but they added another wide receiver. Who's more a little bit more specifically a wide. Receiver that is damian willis who was an undrafted guy out of troy who went to the cincinnati bengals was on the browns for a little bit on the broncos last year and now is on. The new york giants think he was released earlier. This off season by the broncos the only nine catches for eighty two yards in his career. And i think it's interesting because anybody who watches lash chance you. He was on that program when he was at east mississippi community college. And kinda rose go to troy. And then he had a solid career while at troy. Obviously the alma of ac- human your but while he was at troy he had a pretty solid catch rate of sixty seven and a half percent in his senior season whereas last season i should say at eighty three targets fifty six of them and ten touchdowns eight hundred seventy six yards and i remember briefly going over him during that draft process. What i remember about willis's he's good straight line speed. He was a little bit stiff in and out of his brakes. But he's a big guy. Six foot four about two hundred pounds and he was uncontested catch situations but on those breaking routes ninety degree breaks and things like that. I questioned if he had the separation ability now. I haven't seen his film since twenty eighteen. So it's been a hot minute but those things are typically a little bit difficult to develop once you get into the league. But i still don't mind going out there and adding another big body receiver after. You got rid of kelvin. Benjamin rice and john. I believe ended up who the both like hybrid tight ends but rice and john. I believe it ended up on the kovic list. You bring another big body guy. Give him a shot if he can be that governor for you and see if you can really treat the competition at that specific position. Cv offers anything as a receiver but the first time in a while. The giants are pretty deep at the wide receiver position after adding kenny. Goading could area's tony and even john. Ross who's reportedly flashing in camp as well so that's another player that the new york giants added. I think it's a interesting one to say the least just because he is somebody who can provide strong contested. Catch abilities similar to kenny golladay. So we'll see what happens in camp. with someone. like a daimyo willis. So that's that with the new york giants but let's touch on some other just news and notes from round training camp in the national football league right now. I don't think there's i mean there's nothing to intensive going on the field but there have been injuries of note in there is another big story line. That was pervading the entire off season. That now seems to be a little bit more clear. And that is aaron rodgers. Who reported to camp looks like he's going to play his last season with the green bay packers and he's probably going to get out of the contract that he has right now because he has that ability next year and then move on with his life along with davante adams who is up for contract as well and he cut off the resigning. The potential resigning with the green bay packers earlier this week. So after this season there may not be any aaron rodgers and green bates looking like that but he will be there this season and then a definitely looks like devante. Atoms is going to be moving on and they posted some cryptic thing on their instagram. At the same time they both posted something from the michael jordan documentary suggesting that this is the last dance that they're going to have together. What does that mean. They're going to retire after more than likely. Not but possibly just in green bay. Maybe they end up going to the same team. Who knows we know. Davante adams's a california kid. We know aaron rodgers is a california kid but probably not going to be going to the chargers together with justin herbert there. And you've got to start looking at some of those other teams that are in california. The rams they just got matt stafford. Aaron rodgers gonna go there. But you're also talking about aaron frigging rogers here. One of the best quarterbacks in recent memory so i think the whole situation is somewhat fascinating. It's good to know that he's probably going to be back but he voided. The green bay packers voided that twenty twenty three season and the new contract adjustment so they just tweaked a couple of things in his contract. Give aaron a little bit more flexibility. And i guess matt floor brian gouda cranston company will move forward just twenty twenty one in mind and then hope that jordan love is available for twenty twenty. Two aaron rodgers does decide to leave and then we also had the carson wentz situation so carson wentz everybody knows former philadelphia eagle now indianapolis colt tweaked his foot. And that is something that is not going to require surgery just yet..

"Rodgers is doing right now. Well it's the old recency biased thing. I think prior to the end of this season. I would have said aaron rodgers because things were going. Well he had won the mvp but since things have gotten weird and he wants out. I'm now going to say that people have had their wounds heal the brett farve situation and most packer fans would say. Brett farve is the guy that they have more fond memories of just because it's been a long time since brett farve went nuts at the end of his career and aaron rodgers are going nuts at the end of his career right now. Brett farve was the everyday man that Because aaron rodgers is bright the way is and he was talking about mental health this past week and he hosted jeopardy. I thought he did a great job on jeopardy and everything else. He's a different type of person. Like very complex. I was the word on a farm. For god's sake data mississippi wearing the jeans in shooting turkeys and all that stuff right. What was the word that the general manager. Brian guten coons used aaron rodgers. Your kid complicated. Is that what it was. It was complicated and that came from the previous general manager. Oh was it yes. And so he goes. It's a complicated situation or located fella. That's what it was a complicated. So was mark murphy. That's so green. Bay packers president mark murphy reference quarterback aaron rodgers quote. Complicated fella complicated. Don't you think tom brady's complicated see. I don't think tom brady's complicated. I think thai ladies. I think boston's right. I think it was very complicated up there in new england see. I don't think so. Not what brady it was. Complicated between robert kraft and bill belichick. I think tom brady wanted to stay there. But then once he found out the bill belichick didn't want him anymore. Don't want to spend the money yet. So that was the end of it. It couldn't pan the money because the pushing money forward. They had to take the money as the cap. They couldn't pay him what he wanted. And take the hit against the cap on top of the twenty five million which would have made it at thirty nine million dollars cap it when you play. We were complicated fella. Probably in some respects depending on who i was dealing with. You think you are. Yeah by questioned authority or questioned the credibility of certain people. Yeah i think i would become complicated. Yes but see. I think that's more of so from from my perspective for aaron rodgers. Yeah i mean. He's got one of the bright young coaches in a league and matt floor. They had nothing but incredible success the last two years. He's played unbelievably they. They have three other all pros on offense with them. They've tried to fix the defense for him. And it's one of the reasons why they've gotten this for And now all of a sudden he wants out when they finally got the thing right. Sure i to me that's complicated. That's a complicated fella. Yeah do you think that either daniel jones act will center complicated fells at this point now. I think they're still trying to well. Obviously daniel jones is still trying to find his way as a big year for daniel russell wilson complicated fellow..

"I i feel like he could be successful And be a solid quarterback But yeah i. I put him over. You know a bunch of these guys you know just for that reason then. After that is joe burrow. I feel like joe burrow. If he comes back healthy he's going to have a really good season. They added your march to go with tyler. Boyd completely forgot about when i was talking about the bengals whenever i did on the show. And then you know t higgins you know this bengals offense is going to be good and joe. Mixon's coming back. I think of joe burrow comes back healthy the offensive line protects them a little bit more. He is going to have a really solid season. Definitely could be a solid. Qb to for your team maybe even a qb one depending on what the matchup is that week for the bengals Yeah i have him at eighteen seventeen. I've ryan fitzpatrick. I think if he cuts down on the turnovers. I think he's definitely going to be a really solid quarterback if you get him for your team especially for to cuba leagues Yeah the biggest concern. I have with him as the turnovers. Definitely getting up there in age. That's the other thing. But i feel like he's got a lot of weapons around him. Like logan thomas terry maclaurin. You bringing curtis samuel. They got some nice running backs behind him. Feel like if cuts down on the turnovers and he doesn't age ease going to be fits magic instead of fitch tragic then after that i got derek carr i feel like you know you gotta put some respect. Their cars name. He had a solid season last year. You know they did lose. Tyrell williams. In the off season i mean he didn't play at all last year So the henry ruggs. There did bring in john brown Darren waller i think you know. Derek cars still solid quarterback option. If you wanna get for your team feel like he's going to be a little bit better than fitzpatrick. Just because of the i don't think derek carson much as fitzpatrick and i just feel like you know. Put some respect his name. You know i might take a little bit of a step back because they did lose some guys but you know it overall. I think that you know he's going to have another solid season. And i think he's a guy that can be a solid. Qb for your team then after that. I got her cousins. I think you know the vikings are going to be really good team this year Kirk cousins has really good weapons. Adam phelan I must have stefan. Digs are justin jefferson. You know who i think is going to be even better this year I think you know you got to see what happens at the tight end spot. Of course you have dalvin cook in the backfield. I think her cousins one of those guys. That's you know a solid fantasy option. Every year he does put up. Good numbers i think. He does kind of lay some eggs and some games but overall a solid quarterback. I think with the weapons that he has around him so i put him a fifteen fourteen. I would say is matt ryan just because of the consistency that you know. He's produced fantasy quarterback every year. Obviously julio jones is no longer there. But i think regardless he has enough weapons around him that he could be successful and continue to be productive fancy quarterback and then at thirteen of baker mayfield on very high on baker. This year i think with the offensive line. The running backs receivers philly. This could be baker's best season. He took a major step forward last year. I think he's going to continue to develop and especially in your to kevin stefanski system. I think that's going to help him out a lot. And we've seen a quarterbacks have done your two of the systems that were implemented in the year prior matt ryan. You know we've seen that with other. Qb's so have you seen that. Aaron rodgers matt floor. So you know. I think that that's going to help baker out a lot. He's got a great running game behind him. He's got really good weapons. Oh bj's coming back so that you know helps them out But it was interesting because the browns did play better without ob. But we'll see what happens this year. But yeah i'm high on baker thirteen then i got carson wentz. I think he's going into a great situation. Reunited with frank reich. That was the guy that he was playing with as offensive coordinator. That's you know that was the year the carson wentz should've went on vp. Back in two thousand seventeen. Now you're going to a team that's got a really good offensive line. You got decent weapons you know you're going to be protected. You got out of philadelphia. I think he's going to have a good season. He's definitely going to be solid quarterback for your team. I'm very high on him. I got him at twelve. And then got ryan tannehill at eleven. I think he's a very consistent fantasy. Qb i think with the addition of julio jones that is going to help him out a lot as long as they stay healthy. You know the receivers for tennessee. You're going to do really well in tannehill. Has i talked about it on the last show. I believe he's got a really good deep ball. I think that he's a very underrated. Fancy quarterback and i think he puts up consistent numbers. I feel like you know. Maybe eleven's a little bit too high. But i feel like you know now with the addition of julio and you got. Aj brown essentially have to number one wide receivers. So i think that really helps out ten hell a lot so i put him at number eleven. So that rounds out the list. Obviously i talked about the top ten. Because i was a top ten. I did a couple of weeks ago. So then i went from thirty. Two up until eleven. So yeah those are my rankings for. Were the starting quarterbacks in the nfl. And where i think they. Will you know be you know. I kind of talked about where they'd be drafted. You know how they would do in the season. Whatever but yeah. Those are my rankings. Starting quarterbacks in the nfl next show. I will do the thirty two running backs and you know after that. Two receivers tight ends. Whatever so yeah. That was my list for the top. Thirty two starting quarterbacks in the nfl so with that we are going to take a quick break when we come back. We'll do a schedule outlook on the tampa. Bay buccaneers so stick around. We'll be right back here on. Gsm see fantasy football podcast. Are you looking for the very best. Nfl and college football podcast. Then check out the.

"The senior. Nfl reporter lead content. Strategist for the monday morning quarterback and explain to me if this is big news that aaron rodgers is not at the mandatory camp starting today. Now i think the the the real inflection point for all of this is really always going to be the started training camp in that relates back to the fact that he hasn't been at the offseason program in general you know and so his willingness to walk away from a half million dollar workout bonus i think tells you if the packers were going to find him ninety three thousand dollars which they can missing the three day mini camp this week than he'd be willing to do that to really i think you know. All along the rubbers met the road here has been the beginning training camp and i think the packers no it. The packers were aware that he wasn't going to show up today. And you know now going forward on the five six weeks to come to some sort of resolution upside here gases is that you get to see jordan love for another couple of days Next week matt floors actually made the the last part of the offseason program for guys workout bonuses optional. Where they can you know. Attend things virtually so really the next big thing Down the coming out of the road for rogers is the start training camp. I'm still trying to understand the timing of all of this. Let's say aaron rodgers. Does it stay in green bay. Then at some point he has to be concerned about. Where am i going. And what am i getting there. And what is that team going to have to get. Give up to get me there. And if i really improved my position here orphee staying in green bay. What has to happen other than firing the gm that he's willing to go back. I i just keep waiting for some kind of information here. That moves is in one direction or another. Yeah and i honestly like like. I think we talked about last week. You know coolio would have been an olive branch to me. I don't know how you fix the fact that you haven't been as aggressive as he'd like was free agency and the draft gone and now with a trade opportunity like julio presented off the table as well so you know. I think you almost have to make some sort of promise that you know aaron. We're gonna pay you now and we are going to either a changed the way we do business or be traded to wherever you want to be traded to after the season i mean that's really it and you know i think what you're talking about what you laid that out. Dan is sort of like where russell wilson was and where I think he kind of came to the realization that the best situation the only situation really for him in twenty twenty one was gonna be seattle. And that doesn't mean the russell wealth is not going to be back in the same spot in january. Twenty two that he wasn't january twenty one. I think there's a good likelihood he is but he's just sort of came to the realization. They're not trading me..

"Was drafted another god. I'm fairly high on From clemson at cal. I'll let you discuss him. I think about what rogers. I'm not nearly as high on rogers as they consis I think a lot of people saw him when he went to green bay. I think everybody's been so ready for the green bay packers to have another wide receiver inserted in the draft. You know and we're just intimidating in anticipating but you know. I really don't think amari rogers profiles is the number two wide receiver in the fact. That rogers is a situation is so up in the air to say the the to say the least you know. I am not projecting broader. You're gonna be there long term and if that's the case you know is jordan love gonna be all support a wide receiver you know. Are we even sure that amari rogers is better than allen. Lazard now is dead fund as the guy that they went out and got in free agency it to be the number to receiver going into last year before he opted out. You know he's back on the roster as well and he's only twenty seven years old. I think people are really forgetting about devin. Funchess to be honest with you You know this is a guy that has already been a top twenty wide receiver in his career. So i think there's a lot more competition in green bay than a lot of people are are are getting Giving them credit for and The roger situation really makes me uneasy. Amaury writers has some talent. I i just don't think he's anything special. I just think that he's at best a middle level starter of the nfl. And i don't see much of a window of him being much higher especially as long as davante adams is on that team. 'cause i just don't see that the target share i mean it's a. It's a team that clearly wants to run the ball as much as possible. So i'm not nearly as how marta riders. But and i do. I'm generally concerned about aaron rodgers in the future in green bay with the quarterback situation. But i have to look back at amari rogers talent and what he did in his last year and clemson and what he did was ball out in my opinion. Seventy seven receptions. Thousand twenty yards seven touchdowns. Yes he had. Trevor lawrence thong him. The ball but still in a shortened season are very impressive. Numbers and amari. Rogers is a guy that has pretty much been undervalued this entire process and now all of a sudden he's going green bay people hiding him and i'm not high on him because he's going to green by on more high in him because of the talent and the potential that i see and i do think that he has the potential to be the number two receiver in green bay S a good gig. "The combi georgia's pro day he ran. He ran slow. It's still ended up going in the first round but didn't help himself now man. If you're a corner a wider karen just one time you got to have this tighten up a little bit. Well think now. I mean you talk about the pandemic things but we've also seen guys just refused to work out period. Do press guys avoiding bentonville bax. Now there's just not working out. And so joe burrow last year right yet no no workout. Nothing and so. I just think your is have to be so dialed in this year when it comes to looking at the tape you have to be able to dig deeper and i think you have to challenge your spouse to look beyond the normal slate of games that you watch. I think i'm have to go back. And i'm have to do a two maybe even a three your email on players to see how gas progressed over the course of the collegiate career in every other. Try and lockdown. What i what. I believed that. I see on tape and have to trust at report and more times than not. Dj we found when you go with your initial impressions off tape. Most more times than that year grade is more accurate in terms of how players going to play with an assistant. No very true Let's get to a couple of these. hires here. Solid to the jets. Arthur smith to the falcons heard a story on arthur smith. Today actually thought was a great story. Just about i don't know awareness is a good trade. I think for head coach. I don't know we talk about that very much. But just kind of be able to see the big picture and having kind of that understanding told me a great story just about derrick henry. I remember in my in my scouting report on derrick henry. It literally says in there. He a runway. So if you think. About derrick henry is created not start off a blaze of fire it was not great and even under matt floor was not great and arthur smith what he took it over The it started to really start really jump and take off and one of the things he did was. He was getting the ball at a yard. And a half. From the line of scrimmage and they said no we gotta get him the ball two yards from the line of scrimmage back them up a little bit. Make sure that the the the Mesh point is a little bit deeper. Gives him time to get going gives them time to see gives them time to build up he. He's not somebody had great. Great vision coming in alabama..

"GD Dot, com slash careers ddat is an equal opportunity employer disability veteran, so pro football focus is something I follow I liked. The guys there don't always think they're right, but I followed them. They're kind of back in my good graces. They did the top ten NFL players they rank the top fifty. Just give you the top ten. It's not the most valuable. It's not about stats, although stats matter. Aaron Donald. The Rams number one patrick. mahomes Julio Jones Atlanta Quinton. George Kill tied niners. Michael Thomas Six saints. Russell Wilson should be higher, but seven's fine Lamar Jackson eight De'andre Hopkins Nine Christian McCaffrey Ten. No problem with it. I moved some people some people down Mostly right Aaron Rodgers. Did. Not Make the top fifty. Now he makes my top fifty. I absolutely think he's influential. He has a unique skill set. He's really smart. He runs around. He makes plays. He's in my top fifty. But they had three packers in the top fifty. Aaron wasn't one of them. And they use data. and. They had Davante Adams at thirty, eight forty to tackle David Bacteria and forty four was Kenny Clarke by the way they had all make my top fifty, two Aaron would, but he didn't make. There's and it was interesting because this week I have talked about. Why is Aaron Rodgers? The last two years led the NFL in throwaways two different coaches. Why because I think he's protecting his legacy? More than elevating it, he's become a very safe quarterback. The Great Young quarterbacks in this league mahomes and Carson Wentz jump out to me. They are risk-takers. gunslingers. I think going forward sore. The GM's and the young coaches. They are risk takers. I think that's the future of the NFL. I think it's less conservative I think it's more progressive more risk oriented. Than it's ever been I think it's a better brand of football. Errands become safer. Far was a gunslinger to the end, but it's interesting when they talk about David Brock Dra the tackle one of the things they put in here is he has the hardest pass blocking responsibility of any tackle protecting Aaron Rodgers a quarterback who? The ball longer than almost all other passers. throwaways holding the ball longer. Paralyzed by making a mistake or throwing an interception, not just letting it rip like a Mahomes like Carson. Wentz, don't tell me it's all about weapons Carson Winston Avenue Weapons. So this is what we've gone back and forth on, it's not. In my top fifty, my point is been i. think is ease aged. He's become a safe quarterback and I. Don't think maybe it is his DNA I. Think he's at his best Kinda Lechner rip plant foot, and letting it rip and get some interceptions. This is what Greg Cosell has said on our show now for three straight years. Say What you want about. How Rodgers! He's super talented. We know that he'll be a hall of Famer, but Aaron Rodgers over the last number of years has evolved or say devolved into a player that plays a lot outsider, structure and outside of Rhythm, and when you get a chance to watch the coaching tape as I, do, and this is not an interpretation. This is what the tape tells you. He leaves a lot of throws on the field within the timing of the offense. Offense that are there to be thrown and I guarantee that that bothers Matt floor and given the age of Rogers and who knows how long rogers comply the age of Rogers and mental, a floor, clearly coming off last season, having probably pretty much carte blanche at this point. I think he's looking to say hey. I'm going to start to put this offense together. The way I wanted to look and will rogers is great. I'm a little frustrated with the way our fence plays out. They drop plays Aaron things. There's too much risk. He throws it away. Hold it too long. Talk about that clip from the rich Eisen show what did. Matt leflore recently Santa Press. Conference we're not dynamic. Enough PF telling you. They got dynamic players. Players this goes back. I'm not trying to be right I like getting it right I see something I observe something. I say something and then in recent days pro football Focus Matt Leflore. Come out and say yeah. I mean there's there's there's a structure of play. He won't do what the coaches want. He wants to do it his way in his way to me has become too safe. Be Sure to catch live editions of. Of the heard weekdays at noon, eastern nine am Pacific on Fox sports radio affects one and the iheartradio APP so. The NBA is GonNa play July thirty first. It's twenty two teams. It's complicated. They have emergency destination. It feels a little gimmicky. They're trying to figure out what to do. If you're a one C like Milwaukee and you worked hard to be a one seed. What advantages do you get now? There's no home court. Here's some of the things they've talked about. The higher seeded team would be awarded the first possession of the second third and fourth quarters, following the traditional jump ball, the higher seeded team, being allowed to designate one player to be able to be whistled for seven instead of. The. Higher seeded team being able to transport their actual hardwood home court their arena to Orlando. Oh? Good Hell John Woche came out with other things today. You WanNa. Throw a couple of these gyms out there. Sure this took some deciphering. So. They're inviting extra teams that are close to making the playoffs to Orlando, and then for playoff seeding, if the ninth seed is more than four games behind the eighth number, eight will make the playoffs, but it's fewer than four games than they'll have plan tournament, but then the plan format requires a double double elimination format for the eighth seed and a single elimination for the ninth seed okay. My head is on fire. Gimmicky complicated. Don't don't complicate things for sports. Fans like like you just got to keep things. Simple were simple men here just just first down in ten third down in one. You can't give too much. One person can save this season. One Lebron James. You're going to go head to head with the NFL College Football Baseball Playoffs. You gotta give McKee. And I have I have sympathy for the NBA The pandemic hit in the middle of the season. I have sympathy for it. But when we talk about most valuable player, he's an executive. He's the face in the league. He's a coach on the floor. He engineers player moves. He's the best player. It's not just about twenty seven points and eight assists for Lebron James. Like this is the classic example you can see leadership and value in crisis. Right like that's when you see it. You can be Senator Congressman, but when you're state in trouble, that's when you see if somebody's frankly capable or completely over their skis. Look at what the League is going through a pandemic seventy percent through their season. Very smart people these are billionaire ODEM owners, and this is Adam silver, the smartest executives smart people. This thing is a complicated flimsy gimmicky. One thing here they're saying. The top seed should be able to pick their hotel rooms. That is a benefit of being adopting. Bring your floor in from Memphis. Lebron can save the season Lebron plays well gets to the finals games on Wednesday. I'm watching. It's just. Saying, are you saying he's the MVP because a TV ratings? What I'm saying is the burden on Lebron. James. No other player faces it. No other player has to absolutely do an interview after every game..
