"The browns have a number 13 overall pick. They need a quarterback. I think they're too far back to get one. I also don't know that I think what really Cleveland needs to do and I can see I think Matt carral would be fine. Macro is the wild card. I don't know how the NFL views and I haven't watched all this film yet. I think Matt carral could run that brown's offense, really interestingly. He can run, he can move. That'd be kind of fun. But I think what the browns really need to do is trade from Matt Ryan. That's a big question. It's like, could Matt Ryan get traded and how will that impact what the falcons do? The number 14 overall pick is the ravens the number 15 overall pick is the eagles pick from Miami. They traded. Remember that trade. Then you can also get the eagles have the number 16 overall pick that's from Philadelphia in the Carson Wentz trade. The Chargers have the number 17 overall pick and the saints have the number 18 overall pick. So again, the teams need a quarterback. Are they going to move up? I don't know. Will Matt Ryan get traded? How could a potential deshaun Watson trade? Impact the draft order what happens there? What will the lions do? Will they stick with Jared Goff? Could they draft? I'm like, Willis, and will Houston stick with Davis bills? Those are all the questions I have as we head towards the end of a draft in April. But so far, again, the Jets have two top ten picks, the Giants have two top ten picks. The Jaguars are number one over. I'll pick the lines on the number two overall pick. A lot of opportunity here for teams to build their franchise. Houston really interests me because they got the number three overall pick. They also have deshaun Watson. Which they could flip for a couple of first round picks or something like that. So I think Houston has a great opportunity here to have got a franchise quarterback. I like their head coach, and they could get a couple big picks and make some good draft picks and really build their franchise. So I'm very interested this year's NFL Draft, particularly because of teams like Philadelphia, the jets, the Giants, maybe Houston, having multiple first round picks is a very exciting thought because it's teams that are bad that have a real opportunity to continue to build their franchise and turn things around. And Philadelphia, by the way, made the playoffs. They're going to have three first round picks, and they could do a lot of good with those picks. And.

"They can get a good quarterback like Justin Fields with the number 9 overall pick this year. And I just like, oh, the stupidity drives me nuts. The number of the number ten overall pick is the New York Jets. They got that from Seattle in the Jamal Adams trade. So the jets got to top ten picks. That's a massive deal for them. Good for them. They got some opportunities to really draft well and keep building their franchise. Number 11 is Washington. They need a quarterback. They could get a quarterback number 11 overall, although I would remind you that last time Washington waited to get a quarterback. They didn't move up. They drafted Dwayne Haskins. How did that go? If you like somebody a lot, if you're like, if Washington is looking at a quarterback, we like, let's say mackerel. We love Matt corral. We believe in him. We think he's the answer of turnaround our franchise. Then don't wait to draft him at 11. Go get him, 'cause you don't wanna lose him to someone else. And I don't know. Two cents there. The Vikings out of the number 12 overall pick they don't need a quarterback. I think they would, I don't know what I actually have no idea what the Vikings even need. I feel like they're, I would tell you if I did. I think a lot of these teams I got a good read on. Viking fans, let me know, what does Minnesota need in the draft coming up this year? The browns have a number 13 overall pick. They need a quarterback. I think they're too far back to get one. I also don't know that I think what really Cleveland needs to do and I could see I think Matt carral would be fun. Macros a wild card. "I saw a clip of it on TikTok, the other. It actually was YouTube shorts. Told the story about the Chinese farmer and how I'm going to butcher it. The Chinese farmer had his horse run away, and everyone in the village said, oh, that's really bad. And he said, maybe, in the horse came back to the farm with 7 other wild horses. And so I was like, oh, that's really good. You got a bunch of horses now. And the farmer said, maybe. And then the next day, the farmer's son took one of the wild horses out to ride and to break him in. And the sun broke his leg. At ever the village said, oh, that's horrible. Your horse, you know, what are your new horses broke your son's leg? Well, the next day, someone from the military came and said, hey, you know, we're drafting people in the military and his son didn't have to go to the military because his leg was broken. And he actually missed out on a potential opportunity to lose his life. And so the point of that story is that it's exactly what Dan Brazilian said. I'm literally like stealing that entire segment, but he said, look, man, we never really know how things are going to play out in life. And how insane is it that I'm taking a story from Dan Bilzerian? I don't even like the guy. But point is that he is right, though, that you never know what something appears compared to what it actually could be. Good stuff happens in our life every day. And you're not going to know until you see it play out. And maybe Matt carral getting hurt in the sugar bowl is the best thing that ever happened to him. Because he falls through a really good football team in the draft and becomes their franchise quarterback wins a lot of games and has a great career. So you have to be open to the possibility that when something quote bad happens, you can turn it into good. And there is a silver lining. And I think it could be that Matt carrel will fall farther in the draft. But let's be clear, but one thing David, it's totally fine for players to opt out of their bowl games, which I have no respect for and I don't really I have no respect for the bowl games. I totally respect people, you know how much by the way, it takes guts to say I'm not gonna play. Like you're gonna get criticized and all this stuff and it kind of reminds me of, you know, I call up my engagement recently. And I would argue that it takes a lot of guts to call off an engagement and this big obligation and this thing that everyone's excited about your family and people are buying dresses and stuff. And I had to do what was right for me, even if a lot of people didn't understand and kind of bear the weight of that. And the skepticism and criticism I'm going to get for that. And I call it football player doesn't play in their bowl game. It's going to hear it. And they're going to get criticized. But you've got to do what's best for you. Who cares what other people think as long as you're doing what you know is best for yourself and I think it would have been better for mature else future to not play in the bowl game..

"What a university? You're done. You're going to the NFL, man. Take care of yourself, of course. And because you skip a meaningless bowl game, I'll tell you what, nobody I know in the NFL is losing an ounce of thought because you skip a bowl game. It's just silly to me. And we see these old hats kind of it's an old mindset. I don't know what it is. The bowl games are bad anyway. Anything we can do to get rid of bowl games, I'm all in favor for. And if you're a player who is having a hard time, show that play, should I not, I just encourage you, man, you owe nothing your organism to your to your college team. And some people might play in the bowl game because it's an opportunity for them to get exposure and show the world that they can do. And that makes total sense. But if you're a first round pick, you get your locked and you're going to like some bowl game that isn't a college football playoff game. Even the rose bowl, like opt out, who cares? If you're a first round pick, take care of yourself because you are way more to your family, your kids and yourself than your university. And I am all four players opting at a bowl games. They don't matter. I think they're going to go away in the next couple of years anyway. And it's so sad. They kept showing these clips of mat corral's face. As he's just on the sideline devastated, potentially with I don't know what it is, I was like, is it a torn ACL? I don't know. It's just a horrible thought. And it looks like it might be, I'm hoping it's like a sprained ankle. But, man, I have no problem at all with a player like Matt carral, who's going to be a first round pick, not playing in this bowl game. Can he picket skip the ball game? It's okay, man. You gotta put yourself first. And if anything, the Matt corral lesson is that and it's something we can point to for years. Don't be like Matt corral because if you're a first round pick and you're locked as a first round pick, don't risk your future. And also hurting your entire football career. For meaningless game. And a player like, I think Jackson Smith and jiggle. The Ohio State receiver. Put his name on the map..

"I like what I've seen. I haven't seen enough to tell you that I would draft him in the first round. I also haven't seen enough to tell you that he's not a first round bag. I just don't have I haven't gathered enough information on Matt corral. And I apologize if you want me to come out now and say he's the first one. I promise I'll make a determination and tell you what he is in like march, leading up to the NFL Draft. I need to watch every game he's played. I have a whole process. I will say so I need to see more, but I will say, I love his mobility. The dude is also playing hurt, and I love the toughness Matt carral plays, but you can see he's limping he's not at 100%. And he's still running really well, making plays, whatever he can. Get an awesome play against liberty where he reversed pivoted, rolled left, kind of threw a guy open, you know, literally like a bachelor throw to make a guy who wasn't really open through him open. I love that. Matt Carl, he did run quite a bit in this game against liberty. And he does a great job of sliding, getting down, protecting himself. I love all that stuff. And now, I don't love his throwing motion. I think it's a little short and short meaning I worry it doesn't separate enough on the ball to get more on it throwing vertically. But also who cares? I'm telling you, I look at it and go like, I don't love that, but he's also highly accurate, so like who really cares if it's throwing motion isn't pretty. It doesn't really matter. So I'll tell you, that's how I feel, but also how I feel it doesn't matter, because the results on the field of Matt corral are really impressive. And what I've seen, he makes good decisions. It seems like a great leader. I hear his name a ton, and I want to just kind of update anyone who isn't clear. Matt corral is on my radar. He might be a first round pick and I will just he's definitely one of the names I will do a film analysis on this February February March depending on how it works out. But yeah, he's on my radar. I'm excited about him. I just don't have enough information yet to tell you definitively whether he is or is not a first round pick. He might be the second best quarterback in the draft. There's not a lot of great options this year. Macro looks really good. And I just time will tell, do more film analysis on them later. But that's where I stand out of now is I like him and I'm not sure yet what he's going to end up at when I got to watch more film and I just have to be. I have to tell you how I really feel. I can't lie to you and be like, I hate it because I said I hated him. I wouldn't have any reason to hate him because I haven't seen enough. And I also don't have enough reason to praise him as a first round pick because I haven't seen enough. And so that's how I feel about old mis quarterback. Matt corral. Let's now talk about college football week ten. There are 8 things I find noteworthy that I want to highlight I already talked about on this against liberty, only speak liberty 27 to 14. Let's dive in number one, though, Purdue beat number three, Michigan state 40 to 29. And on October 16th perdue knocked off number two..

"Was watching liberty quarterback Malik Willis against an SEC level defense. And like a secondary storyline was I love watching all this quarterback Matt corral. A lot of people say he's the first run pick. I'll get into that later. But like Matt carral against liberty, you're supposed to dominate liberty. That's not a, I want to watch Matt Carl against LSU, auburn, Alabama, George. Against really good defenses. I expect mature Al to have a great game against lower level liberty. But watching Malik Willis against the top defense is what I'm really excited to see. And Malik Willis did not have a great game. He was 16 for 25 passing for a 173 yards, zero touchdowns passing. He did have a touchdown rushing. Buddy through not one, not two, but three interceptions. And oh man, I should have seen this coming. I feel dumb that I hyped up this game 'cause I'm like, of course, oh, give me liberty. Had a hard time against old miss. What a shock. It's not surprising. It's like, wait, come on, of course, they're gonna have a hard time and lose the game. I think if anything, it's impressive that liberty only lost by 13 points. This game was a physical mismatch. I mean, Malik wells got sacked 7 times in the first half. His receivers really struggled to get separation. They had a couple of drops. And the first half, liberty got dominated up front on the line of scrimmage. And again, physical mismatch is what I say here. This is Alabama against New Mexico. This is Oregon against Wyoming. This is a game where, of course, the bigger school with better players is going to dominate the smaller school. That doesn't have as good of recruits. Liberty has a star quarterback. That's about it. And look, in the second half, almost kind of took their foot off the gas, put in some backups and they really happened was only they said, we're up 24 or 27 at points and we're just going to they're up 24 to 7 at one point. And they said, we're just going to give liberty numbers in the box, and meaning that they're going to have fewer defenders playing the run kind of forcing liberty to if they want to run any kind of competitive offense. Liberty had to run the ball. And it was fine. The British would run for like 6 yards four yards, 5 yards..

"They move up large in the college football playoff rankings coming out on Tuesday. Second Iowa Wisconsin, after what I saw from Iowa against perdue, I don't know if I can ever pick them. If Sean Clifford would have finished out against that game against Penn State, they would have lost that game too. Now they got blown out by perdue. Now they're at Iowa. I mean, at Wisconsin, Wisconsin to me, not as strong as they were, but they're a decent four and three team and they just be perdue at her do. They're winning games. And guess what? Somehow, this game right now is for like first place in the division. This would not Iowa really awful lot. I'm going with Wisconsin. I'm going with the badgers to win this game, I believe they win it. It can't Randle stadium. I don't have big faith in grand merge or patriots on the Wisconsin side. I don't think any of these quarterbacks are good. I think this will be a defensive battle of attrition. But I think it Wisconsin can put up more points in Iowa when they feel like it. Texas Baylor, oh, I've got to feel probably delusional. I'm Texas to win this one in Texas has let me down so many times, the Arkansas game and others, I mean, baelor 6 and one, but I've liked the explosiveness. I've seen from Texas. It's just him a hold onto a lead and keep it and win the game. I don't know. I think Steve's artesian can do it. I know the first year, you're building towards it, but you need key wins. This is a key win in a tough environment at Baylor. I like Steve sarkesian to get it. Georgia, Florida, arm rooting heavily. For Florida, miscarry, I want Georgia to lose. Having one loss on my record, however, I don't think that'll happen. Georgia has the best defense to me by far in the country. The defensive line is great. The secondary is great. Instead some benefits playing good. I don't think they need JT Daniels as the guy right now. They're running game as good. Everything's just complementary, and it'll be too much for Florida to overcome who has a quarterback situation of your own between Emory Jones or Anthony Richardson. So I think that'll be too much Georgia wins the game. Texas tech Oklahoma, I want to pick a globe and a win big, however, I've seen enough from Oklahoma this season to say, I don't know if you'll ever win big. I'll pick Oklahoma to win though. I don't care who's at quarterback spinster rattler kill Williams. It seems like they always pull the rabbit out of the hat. One last magic trick to win the game. That's what Oklahoma does and they've been doing it this year. I don't think Texas tech can upset Oklahoma. Even though one of these times I pick Oklahoma, they'll lose. I just feel it. Old miss and auburn, I'm surprised how much support is for auburn in this game. I know auburn's a good team, but to me, I've seen so many bad performances. But one against Georgia, you know, Penn State was decent and LSU. They could have lost, but to me, almost is a better team. I like Matt carral. To me, he's a favorite to win the Heisman. So I'm going with the better quarterback. I know it's an away game in a tough environment. Both teams are really looking to keep hopes alive. And the winner of this game.
