"Gina and tonight were still talking baseball talking-shop all night long. Only at gmc baseball podcast. We're talking about the cobs and the pittsburgh pirates. I mentioned before the break that to pitch today cynic as they liked calm he pitched six innings to earn runs. Got the win. Got the w then The pirates were so good. Tyler anderson who came more from the rockies and the off season pitched five innings gave three earned runs five strikeouts became to home runs one of them to hobby bias and number two empty rizzo. So not great then. The cubs had rex. Brothers on the mound back from like four years out of baseball pitched a four batteries for cut. Three of them winkler. Gabe three walks in a row. Then kimbrel got the save. And by the way i actually met craig kimber ones. So if you do remember. I'm from birmingham alabama and kimbrell is from huntsville went to handful stay community college and no sort wallace state community college enhanced for alabama ans- at wall st campbell went from a guy could talk out in the mid eighties at most to throwing ninety four ninety five because of drew. He did at wallace state so actually met his old coach at a training. Camp auburn did wants some head coach and he told me that he would have those players. Do long tossed from their knees so long. Toss when you just get a ball in the off when you just kind of to each other just a warm your arms again loose for the game. Pickle ball gra france and you play catch over and over again and you backed up over greg longer distances. Until eventually you're playing catch from two hundred feet away and making it and this coach at wall community. College would do that except he'd have players do it from their knees you'd on your knees and just play catch like that. And the point was we throw the ball your momentum your arm was meant to drag you along for the ride to throw the ball. A romance him would carry you so that you'd fall on your face. She threw the ball tilt over and hit the ground. You push up. Catch the ball here partner set and throw again et cetera. And this coach claims. That craig kimbrel did this often. And for so long and so adeptly adivasi to his frame and eventually he got to the point where he was blown gods away. And that's what led to a legend of craig kimbrel baseball's best closer so five thousand kinda fun thing dimension and about a year after that baseball camp. Where lick coach explain it. Kimbro himself showed up at an american baseball foundation dinner. Alabama hostess convention call the alabama baseball toward the american baseball foundation in birmingham every year. And it's an auction and they usually have guest speaker to talk about their experiences playing baseball. And sir years ago the guest speaker was craig kimbrel and i met him gone with him very nice and i just thought that was kind of rolled. Appoint a one share of you but kimber was on like five ten. He's not big. Like i'm five eight and he's he was basically the same size i couldn't believe he was stocky. He was stocky but he seemed very normal sized like he was looking up at davidson ski. Who runs the american baseball foundation. So he was looking at him so that was kinda funny point one dimension not a guy but he throws pretty hard coming up next is the red sox and the orioles the red sox and the os and that was just a fun game to watch. The red sox won the game seven. Three they score twelve hits. The orioles got five. Hits and a winning pitcher was at war though. Rodriguez as worthy rodriguez. So all amount of for the orioles matt harvey the former disgraced met. So don't know matt. Harvey is one of the guys who was highly touted. People were calling camping next. Ace for the mets for several years. And it was ham. Degrom and stephen mats and zack wheeler and together they were supposed to lead the mets and to perpetual war contention year and incidentally degrom kind of all the time because this house fifteen two thousand sixteen so matt harvey suppose say the franchise and their allegations that he just was he responsible is personal life and he had the one game where he was pitching and terry collins left in the game and he gave up a massive base hit and lost the series for the mets against the kansas city. Royals thousand and fourteen. I believe in the world series and that wasn't good and their main stores like that were harvey sorted list team down and now he's trying to resume his career with the orioles and this was not a great start. He pitched five innings. Give four under runs five strikeouts a homerun allowed to keep hernandez so that wasn't great. Paul frey came in so doing tate. The former first round draft pick as fifteen draft number three overall sean armstrong trevor wells and way leblanc all pitched pitcher for the red sox was watered rigas garrett. Whitlock matt and breezy and matt. Barnes barnes actually struck out the side could begin and denver's had home run the first inning scoring alex. Verduga the ri- mountcastle for the orioles struck back and hit a home. Run to right. Field tied the game up then. The catcher petro severino run to right field and a forfeiting so now the orioles have a three two lead then christian arroyo hit an ground out that scored diverts and a six inning..

"On this Thursday. Dan and Dan and stand Patrick Show. Glad to have you on board. Come in. Stay awhile. Love to have you at our master's draft. Darius Rucker joined us and have some controversy had a trade. And the first round had already been underway, but had a little bit of controversy there. McLovin and Seton trading players and then we found out that make 11 knew that one of the players Victor hobbling, had a triple bogey on the first hole. But I I think it's gamesmanship. And Seton is willing to accept it. So we're all we're all good. Although I don't know if there's anything is anything at stake here with our snake draft. Yes, You don't think so. I tried to get Darius Rucker's robe. But that didn't that didn't work out so well, by the way, Victor hovel in two birdies. Yeah, he's back. Triple bogey. Yeah, we tried TOC of Darius Rucker. He has, uh Who's the robe of The cleric flare. Yes. Oh, he hasn't one of Rick players actual robes that he used in the ring. And he said, No, I was there the day that he bought it. For around $50,000 at an auction and I thought, What the hell are you going to do with that thing? And there is has it in his closet. He brought it out. Yes, Todd. You frame that or just keep it in your closet. I guess you could just cover it in something. But don't you want to display something that cost $50,000 like that? I would think you would want to put it on a mannequin. And then maybe put the manic in England like I have my Jim Harbaugh mannequin over there, but that's a little bit different. The clothes aren't you know something that the war in a game against Ohio State You know, it's just Jim Harbaugh looking like Jim, Horrible over there. That's a mannequin. Yep. But only a single man could get away with displaying that around the house casually like, Hey, honey, I'm gonna display my ric flair robe in the in the dining room. It's not gonna work. That's why you have this man cave all the stuff you can't display home. Well, Darius will be able to display it now, if he would like to exactly in his man cave. He said. Well, well, hey, but he had his Grammys underneath his night stand in his bedroom. Although you want to see my that's a convenient you want to see my Grammy's convenient place to leave this. Wow. Yeah. Hey, look, if I was single, I'd say you want to see my hammy. He was in his bedroom, and he had Grammys and a Ric Flair road immediately at fingertip. I'm not trying to say what's going on, but that's a single man. Dude knows how to party single like that. Yeah. Would just wear the Ric flair grow and nothing else at the mood. That should be his next album, cover him in the family's Ric flair. Nothing else. That's not already already we're just gearing up for Steven Jackson and Matt Barnes Barnes, former NBA players, all the smoke podcast. And see it was a big fan of the podcast. I've just heard clips from it, but it feels like they get players to come in and relax until stories. I don't know how they get him to relax, but it feels like they relax, and they tell stories because it's like I would imagine. Sometimes when you're listening, you're like man. I don't know if these dudes realize that this is going everywhere, but that's because it's just it sounds like three buddies talking or for, you know, people just talking hanging out then you're like dank. Did you hear what they just said? And those guys are characters. They got some personalities there, but they've had some big names on the show. Uh, Steve Nash was on there. Kevin Durant on their Calvin Johnson was on there. But all the smoke is the podcast so the host will join us. Coming up. Kevin Durant returned to the Nets last night and he played 19 minutes. I don't know if you know if we can determine how chemistry was there is or will be affected, but they played seven games together, hit all five of his shots. He had 17 points in a blowout window over the pelicans. And you know, this is the highest scoring half Of the season to start the game that they had. You know, they're putting up 1 35. It's not a big deal, but don't limit Brooklyn did just three players. LaMarcus Aldridge looks alive. They looks fresh. Blake Griffin. They look good. Uh, you know, Durant's deadly Harden has been great. Kyrie can score on anyone. The role players know their strengths, or at least they know their weaknesses, and they may not have a lot of time to figure all this out. But they may not matter as good as they are. I'm curious if they don't play that many games together. And what they're going to be like once the playoffs start. But what I saw last night with grand playing. The Nets certainly looked like the contender that we think that they will be. Yeah, McLovin do. They need to get tested, though, So they know if there's one minute left in a playoff game. Who's going to take the shot, you know. Who is here? Take a shot. I think you know, I think that depends on the game. The opponent who's guarding Kyrie, who's guarding Durant, who's guarding harden. And the other team is not going to know It's not like you go. Hey, we're facing the Lakers. You know Kobe's taking the shot. You don't know who would be taken the shot of those three..

"Yeah I know there is feeding so we're talking about concrete and I pulled up this Bryant Shaq Clip. This is Brian Shaw from Yahoo Sports and again again. There were Lakers. Yeah correct there. Were apparently some conversations about Kyle Kuzma and a potential trade destination maybe Sacramento in the player That was in. The conversations was Bogdan Bogdonovich Here is what Brian Shaw said about. Coups on Yahoo sports but I'll tell any of the other young Lakers that are out there. Don't make the mistake. They cow Kouzmines team did And have your trainer say anything the GM Lebron James or you know. I know rich Paul was trying to sign Kyle Kuzma when he left his agent last year. He didn't sign we rich ball. So when you don't sign with rich Paul and your trainer comes out and says that was given to Lebron. You're going to be audited Brian Da. Aw Oh no the trailer thing. I think we kind of came and went very quickly. I did not know the dynamic of rich Paul trying to sign Kyle Kuzma and and Kyle Kuzma signing somewhere else. So I am always interested in those sort of off the court things like you know as a journalist I need to. I know who somebody's agent is too 'cause that's who you called sure formation etc Over the last couple of years cocoon had used to be with a guy mark bottle. Bartlestein Move Mary. Sports He kind of a couple of times. there were some overtures from rich Paul to Kyle coups wasn't just this this last summer when he actually did switch The the baby the first year to And then he ended up going with CA In in the you know out of and I had to do much more with marketing. Leon agent I think worldwide wests worldwide west. I think that's who he deals with. Okay so that's that's more for US inside baseball. Whatever but what is what is inside baseball? Let me give you a good example. I have always found around rich. Paul as a person to In dealing with him on a business level as a just straight up you know businessman. I think he's a good businessman in that. He's not somebody who necessarily hold grudges. He's not somebody who's like You could he. I don't I wouldn't call him thin skinned at all. I think like any agent. You're gonNA hear from him when he's mad about something but you're also going to hear from him on other things I think he is but I feel like the lines of communication are generally always open whenever you make a business choice when it comes to rich like I think that it is a business choice and he moves on and continues to make business decisions. Does that make sense. Yes it doesn't in in other words I don't think he takes these personally like that However and I don't mean this and I didn't mean that however long pause dramatic or whatever but on the Lakers there are several guys who are represented by clutch and rich Paul Yup and they sort of have their own click? It's like Anthony Davis Lebron. James Taylor Horton Tucker Tucker's PCP and there's a sort of like this like you know. They have a trainer that they work with. And it's not and you know the Lakers traders work with everyone but there's there's one guy who works with all the clutch sheriff's there's like a sort of like group. Click on that in Cleveland too by the way when the broad was there and and I don't think that they're like not rooting for the guys who are not represented by clutch. I just think that they have their own level of support there like President Bush on a club in clubs. There you go so if you choose to not be part of the club within club. I don't think there's anything vindictive about IT I. I don't think you enjoy the benefits. Okay that makes sense. Yeah like you're not getting like you're getting but you. He actively made a choice because he thinks there are better benefits than another agency. Okay which is free to filter Korea. Some people don't want to be the fifth guy on a team with the same age. Feel like they're getting preferential treatment. So here's the issue then did not joining the club change his status with the team in other words because he didn't sign up for or the club that Lebron The Rich Paul Club does that make him any more likely to be traded from the standpoint standpoint of. I don't think it would come in vindictive way I really don't. I have known rich Paul to be much more of a businessman than a vindictive person. I'm sure that's that's just from my vantage point. I mean are you enjoying. The benefits are being represented by him. No yeah if if if if the if your goal is to stay on the Lakers and not get traded. He's not out there at least would have been designed with you. Enjoy the protection of him. Correct of him saying I. Don't I want my client getting traded. Yeah or I do my client getting traded or whatever like I think I would. I would say it's Casey P is enjoyed those benefits But it is that because he kept signing one year deals. Like what any other agent who represented Casey P Have Gotten him those deals. I can't say that I didn't make those deals but you know speculate but would But the the the the constraint of why Casey P doesn't get traded is as much to do with like he's represented by a guy who can keep him where he where he is who has some juice yeah As in his contract is set up that he needs to get by the way. Let's give Casey. PS Do he's developed into really well really really good player like the seventh or eighth. Best percentage wise and he's had shooter in the League a no trade contact. No trade clause basically the last couple of years. He overcame the fact that Greg Bergman painted. I've willing to say that for the first like ten games. Yup He was terrible. Yeah he was absolutely that whole thing. Did Edge start out. Like Oprah was air bowling layups. I agree with you that he was bad last year. Like I mean he was your twelve million dollar guy. He's taking a big step after this year. It's taken a big fan fantastic system. I think this year he has and I think he gets enough credit for that. I think he would get more credit. I mean I think he's been better than Alex Caruso. Hello everybody is GonNa hate me for so. He hasn't been better excruciating. Yeah get any credit for that because everybody loves Caruso and then he put on the headband and they love him even more I mean it's not getting a mural on melrose like Alex Cruz. Alex Caruso is number six all star voting among guards up your week. How do we Stuff the ballot box for Alex Caruso. How funny would that be? I mean funny but also like not funny. Then it's like you're getting all everybody loves an underdog underdogs under the vote. And even if you were to finish he'd have to be like number one looks like he's one of my neighbors. I've got a neighbor that looks like Alex career so he's just like regular guy plan in the NBA Guy. You know are you. Don't clean the leaves people love Alex Crusoe so I think it's like if you don't join the club within the club. I don't think there's anything punitive additive. I really don't know I would say if I if I thought so. I just think you don't enjoy the benefits. Whatever those benefits might be creek which might be protection might be? Yeah you know I just think it's it's a business decision so when you look at the business decision of do you trade Kyle Kuzma or not. The answer has to come down to. Are you getting something in return for him. That better fits what this team is trying to accomplish. Yes all right coming up. Next for Korea. Kobe Bryant appeared on the The Matt Barnes Barnes called all the smoke. Yep Right all the yeah Stephen Jackson what is it fun. All that smoke all that smoke. And he spoke about the The Lakers the state of the Lakers. Right now and also on Lakers general manager Rob Pelinka. That's coming up next for Mason Ireland Momo's in for John. Espn La what did you think. I know. You're a big a fan of the royals. Oh my gosh and Harry and Meghan Markle goal have said we're out we're done K.. So I had two reactions but they were separated by several hours to when new information came. Okay Okay my first reaction was good for them. That's great boundary setting their. You know a a couple for the new era. They're saying we want to do this on our terms arms not on your terms like a follow protocol but we're still gonNA be representing crown which can do arms. Yes good for you. And then I found out that they never even told the Queen. They never told William and kate they just did it. They did it almost like to them. So I have virtually no information about getting tonight and I do not pay attention to any of the stuff except I did see a headline go by today. That said Queen refused to Z.. Harry and I didn't see that. Yeah that today yeah okay. 'cause yeah 'cause they're probably going to hurt you know they went to her. I said no and she said No. I don't WanNa hear it so what I've been reading. I mean I read a lot about John Markle. Well you watched her on yes. Gosh he wants to run suits. I wanted to love this couple but the more I read about it the more. It sounds like she's really difficult goal. He's been really difficult to the point. Where like when their baby was born they like would let anybody be there? They wouldn't even tell anybody around. And like you know I understand. It's a privacy thing like even for somebody who doesn't follow it all hurry school and Williams and nerd. Yeah William is a guy who falls here he he has a few things. You should look up in his backstory. My idea of him is just like he's he's not he's not gonNA party yeah. There was a party period of his life. Sort of good for him There's a cost him. He were ones that you should really don't even know. Yeah Wow yeah I'll I'll google yeah all right. So just think he he's. He's come a long way since then then he he. That was a that was a pretty bad gaffe. Yeah for me Seeing that once it was like Oh okay. I don't think that's it's just something you do and don't realize the severity of it. Okay but you know as I that has to have come from somebody could be. We are by the way okay very very unusual. Today we always say with Momo. Yeah that she wings fast track. I just don't try to make them not suck up next time today. She claims she has written out two questions. Including one actual Liz actual game factor fiction ten questions Russians about British royalty. I'm so excited. I had so much fun doing this. Why can't you say dressed like a Nazi? Oh I didn't think I could say that. I mean okay. Well if you're going to say okay this we're telling the truth on the show. I don't want to talk about now. He's you know he wore a swastika. Yes terrible they say that. Imagine what it was but no not so good. That's inexcusable. So like you know some people will say I was immature. He didn't know. And how do you. How do you not know all right so Kobe? Bryant appears on the all that smoke podcast which is hosted by Matt Bahr to say that in any cooler way all that smoke come on beddis meets. Play the music at least when you play when.

"Of what we did but you know the key thing about us. Being on that road is one we were. We were living with our consumer. We're learning but we were also like or they were believers in us. They felt like they were part of something because we were there shaking hands and Salome mm direct and then and then costumers the next year it would be triple the bands and all of a sudden. It's it's you know you're just like. We never forget an event. We I pulled that. We attended like three years in a row and the third year people were running. Fences are relaxed like people rushing and we're like that's crazy from a category standpoint is what I was talking to. People say like wait you start out on apparel and then. When did you pivot the underwear you know the big thing for us is and I always say like it's like going to college you. Go for four years. You grow up as you start to learn you. Study your passions. Go Up you know and and one of the things with us being on the road we were. We were growing up not knowing what we were just growing up in the industry kind of paving our own lane but you know we we started noticing. Hey there's everyone's doing a pair of we inspired this apparel. move of everybody and their brother had a rich parent or had money or just had an idea they were screen screen printing arts and so we we have an event we would go to and we were the only new guy against like. Let's say the you know the DC shoes of the world. You know our whatever the next year we came in Allison. There's another group of like brand new people and so so so all of a sudden yeah all of a sudden we see like how skull candy is ruined reinventing. The headphones beats by dre right and they're. They're taking a category. It's been around forever but they're just reinvented making a cooler. So we kind of you know. We saw this gap where on college campuses kids were wearing compression shorts a class because it was better than having a change in their underwear or out of their underwear to go hooper whenever they were just wearing it and compressions not the best thing to wear to class and so it kind of like it showed that there was a need to kind of take this era vigor out there. There's a better product out there than a cotton pair of onto our or compression shore and if we if we could make it fashionable affordable and then and also you know it was a category and so so that's really where we pivoted as we looked at it we said. Okay skinny beats came in reinvented a category and they owned it. You know stance was just starting to come with that sock movement as as brands were able Nafe was doing with headwear where it was like you could own a category and so we kind of saw that light whereas one pivotal night where it was like hey we're going. We're GONNA go from. PSD and we're going to BPS's unaware now and then like once you built that audience when you make that pivot they're they're still going to move the loyal yeah and so and the only thing to you get into facts of like that. You never knew learn like so guys. Don't dip brands of underwear throughout the week so like your brands your brand. You don't dip of you. Don't try something on Monday Sunday and then do something else on Wednesday. Whatever you wear Calvin Klein you wear it all week and you make sure you have seven pair or five I with a big fruit blue hands a handsome guy. I was all the time it was all. GotTa go runnin. Can you know yeah he's talking about before before before the go to target the four pack of hey but then had like came under fire because there was like the same. I the house a big jockey. You've got your high end as you. Lou and then they came up the tag less and it was like Oh wow this change in a game. It could do it in it was we'll going to Michael Jordan. It's funny you say yeah that so another staple moment in our career of building the brand so we decide to carve off and and and underwear but so as we were so I'll give you I'll give a shout still stevie. Abby Johnson of Buffalo Bills Way ahead of his time. When it came to fashion you know he was especially being in buffalo but people loved them. I fashion but he was he was kind of the first guy to capitalize on social media to WHO's getting paid from busy ODA twitter and stuff like that so for guy that donahue Sudan sue Johnson was a wide receiver for the Buffalo Bills Chargers. Here's niners. He had a journeyman who spent time in buffalo was a man he was. I mean hey bills mom again but yes steve was the man he's he's still. He's still our guy but the thing is so as we're learning through this so stevie was a I wanted to say like hey I want you know I'm aware of stuff but I wanna be that staple stable guy so he was actually our first. Our first athlete athlete was Stevie but will we didn't realize once you invalidated the plate and so Steve Stevie not only was a fashionable guy gave his amazing content shouters out and I remember he did dancing in the end zone. He he pulled up his waistband and it was pullover shirts the waistband. I couldn't believe it and I got hit by every agent in the book the next day was that like because I haven't. I haven't seen the clip personally I'm I'm not. I'm not I'm not. I'm not sure if I wanted to let them. I'm not sure if I'm go look this up and like see him like lifting been dancing but was it took off so did he lift the shirt shirt up. Two Zero two shows here text me the day before the game. I'm like yeah I'm watching what it what it meant but he had he ended up can in the end zone and that was the whole point but the funny thing is that for like forty our kids came like Yeah da the Patriots which is the best thing you had to be pressure but was cool it so he was he was boys with Matt Barnes Barnes applying for Lakers. Matt Barnes Boys was Snoop Dogg and so all of a sudden. It's like you know that all of a sudden it's at Domino's effect and so so we ended up having some west coast reasons come on here for trade shows and so bought a bit by then. We're making five hundred thousand dollars out of the bus. We're really making some momentum moving some units and so we bought a bigger bus and said hey we got we got venture out. West but we started needed to look in a cage. We saw our first contract and and it was the cool thing about it. Is We got our asses kicked when you say contract horsemen deal like an endorsement talks with Stevie John Nice it was one of those they did their job and I look back and say thank God because they've saved us so much money going forward because the island Somalia in that first contract but yeah for sure but it was but it was great it was a good it was good it was good for us and and we learned a lot but at the end of the day to like the value that we got out of him was was way more than we could have. We could have ever paid for anyways but the key there is in going back to the Jordan thing so so now we're kind of graduated into that. We got vowed eighty at the table. So now we got the Barnes came out here and snoop and we start to see what real deals are and that allows us to get you know kind of wholesale model or you look at brick and mortar and so for getting the other tour days of us doing the vans warped tour in going to journey shoes and like you know the the actual the bus days we're starting to look at it from a national national brand and so we get to where we're you'll. Kyrie irving was wearing duke and all of a sudden he's eagles number one draft pick and he's he's Cleveland and you know we're at the spot where he wants to come in and he's learned Miller. You gotTa try to tell that story but so one of the tour days and talk about that grind we just got done with journey shoes told us if you ever WanNa be in our our stores you'd have to have an MTV show and it was because Rob Dirk had his his show with it was actually robin big at that time. Drama had his with young and reckless and so he was joking around town beat it out we'll never stolen on average retail so we we grab this happen to your camera guy and put him in the bus and we went on MTV spring break tour ammo sell them the whole thing and yeah so we went on Tour and basically film the whole thing and and with just came off. I mean it's funny because you would think it'd be fun to be on spring break for a month but it was like there and you're like don't show me anything. Nobody's OBI and he's no no liquor. Give me out of here. We're we're we're also we go out. One time man we ain't drink alcohol do do this spring break and we had the MTV guys Johnny Bananas Author Show. It was Kevin Damage Crazy legit. They're living with us. We're in the same you know condo and it was like yeah so anyways we leave that like death like just ready to go home and chill out and and so we get a we get a text message from mark long which is another. MTV The real world guy and he said Hey. I wish you guys would stayed in in Florida because the the gator growl this weekend's it's a homecoming weekend and I think Tibo was there still and so he's like the over Florida and so we just got back in upstate New York and I remember we had the garden yeah I remember. We had the garment at that time of navigation. They didn't have it on the phone. You know we were we were probably blackberry gals or something back in twenty two hours and I look twenty two hour drive to the events in twenty four hours. Let's go so we literally fire the bus up and down loaded back up and we drove to the and and so we were in the parade we drove base rate to the parade so long social. We end up crushing it. We ended up with a fraternity across the street from the stadium and huge game anyways. Mike Miller earlier was there for an alumni thing Mike Boorda Florida yeah so we have this big line like two hundred people buying underwear and stuff and then he kind of came outside and he was like hey we he is doing here you know and we started talking and he was trying to build an energy drink and just love that there was a big line of people and he was given out energy drinks and trying to network and so he's like hey you know Let's keep in touch. Give me a box. I mean do during never panned out because I forty soya overseas. I'll tell you another story. That's another another podcast involved in that but but so what was funny so so we ended up gifting. Mike and I wasn't a huge my big thing is I was building. A Brand Ryan was more of a sports fan than I am where I'm like I just I'm out for spreadsheets and business and let's make another dollar and get our vet and so make basically he was in Miami just won that championship and so he was like so all of a sudden we get this tweet and it's like it was it was suppo- he didn't know really how to use. It wasn't a Damn Oh hey here's my phone number and get a hold of me and this is all his followers dance ads arrived like Hey Mike number tweeted his number and and so I'm like it probably the scam but anyways I'll try to calm and and when I talked to him answered he's like man my phone's blowing up and said yeah so anyway if you're ever in Miami. Let's talk and I'm like you're not gonNA believe it. I'M GONNA be there in a day so I was back and so we get loaded back up and drove Tamiami and and basically that was one of those times where we'd gifted him. You know he was in the locker room. Brian asked him about his underwear wise wearing wearing a wild onto where and then I mean thinking about the best time in Miami Lebron de way Mike Miller was did birdman on real and we're we happen to be thrown in the mix so their kids kids were so we ended up with gift in again and then and then like Lebron James. All those guys wanted the stuff that there was kind of all the players were wearing locker room until Mike..

"I got into a fight with one. And I thought I was going to beat the mess out of them. He got me out there. And man, he hit me a couple of times. And I was like oh dang this could really go hard to paint. Okay. I'm in trouble. And so, you know, I thought back, but still I overestimated are underestimated that dude and almost ended up big time trouble. But so I don't know if they're car could be that guy. I don't look at him as a fighter. I just I just don't I'm sorry. They're not trying to you know, what I mean. I I just don't see him as that. Did this is where I disagree with you. I got car for variety reasons. K one break this down. From from from just tell the tape. Okay. He's younger first of all he weighs more than me. And he's he's working out more. So you know, he's got power behind. His punches Stephen has reached even as I six three six four tall, brother. So he's got he's got long got that reach. He could probably keep them way with jet. See here's where and seems as from is from New Yorkers from Brooklyn. Yes. So he's from BT decay, but see their cards from Bakersfield, and if you're a California p person or Bakersfield Bakersfield and barstool mixed up, but he's from Bakersfield do. What's in Bakersfield, not a damn thing? There's nothing bagels. Look Bakersfield is is the spot that you meet somebody halfway like, oh, I'm coming from. Yeah. I'm coming for Vegas. Just meet me in Bakersfield, I'll drop this off to your kid off to your with it. That's the media plays. I know for experience. So so so you look at that as like, okay, you're into armpit of California Bakersfield, the the most famous people to come out of Bakersfield beside the cars, I believe Matt Barnes Barnes's from Bakersfield. And then you got Nick D as in his brother, the you have fighters. So so yeah. So you figure during nothing doing Bakersfield book thrown if you got an opportunity, so if you're not playing football, there's only a couple of things you probably gonna be doing. We're going to keep this this initial class clean because I'm not gonna say smoke met and have sex. But hey, I'm the saying there's not that much to do Bakersville. Now. Maybe I don't know true. But the end of the day I like car because of that because he is that Bakersfield he's got that little edge to them. And I think you see a little bit more than grooving bringing that out of car wants to be coached hard. And I think that at this point. This is a good thing for Derek Carr. I think he's going to get in a position to where that that. This is going to bring something out of him almost like when farve win the rehab, and he came out just so laser focused then putting a Super Bowl that year. I don't think there's anywhere close to when the Super Bowl right now. As of today, not even close, but the have your quarterback get in. And and being that, I think they can they owe max inste- and Stephen a Smith. Thank you to have the quarterback come out and show this publicly. Yeah, I agree. I think that you know, this is good to get Derek Carr fired up. I will say again, then I think Stephen April has that. Oh school. I'm at the YMCA that old man strength that we know, you know, I mean seriously like I mean because I play hoops right now at the CIA, and I don't have the athletes where I could jump out the gym anymore..
