"She clearly knows how to fight for things that have meaning for her. A few years back matlin was approached by a film producer to coach a hearing actor once she respects and admires on how to play death. It slightly scorching like finding yourself in the hot sun without sunblock to watch matlin sign her dismay and outrage as she recalls the exchange i said. No you're kidding right. It wasn't a joke. Well you know my answer right. I said to the agent. No it's not happening. Thank you very much but no you can't teach someone who's not death how to be death how to play death how to act f. No some of that. Fire comes through in matlins portrayal of jackie in coda. She's a former beauty queen. Now the wife of a fisherman married for years. The two are still madly in love and ever ready to cajole her kids out of a bad mood in an early scene. The whole household clatters with noise as jackie gets the family dinner ready. No one except ruby cares because who can hear it but in one of the movies most searing sequences. Jackie tries to talk ruby out of pursuing her love of singing. She has a shattered attending berkeley college of music in boston via sign language. Jackie says to ruby. If we were blind would you wanna be a painter. Jackie tries to make the line seemed like a joke. The maternal anxiety behind it is clear. Matlin a mother of four herself found that scene difficult to play. That's probably one of the most selfish things anybody could ever say when talking about her daughter and i struggled with that as an actor. Because that's not something. I would say as a mom. She says but she also knows that playing characters doesn't involve judging them and the whole point of acting is to illuminate some of the more complex angles of human behavior. She wants more chances to do that. Even as she recognizes that landing jobs becomes harder for women actors as they age. She knows the grandmother roles are coming and here. She does the universal. I rolling thing. That's pretty much involuntary among most women over fifty actor or not when the subject of aging comes up still. Her plan is to keep doing the work she loves and learn some new skills along the way last year. She served as an executive producer on doug rollins moving oscar-nominated short film feeling though featuring deaf blind actor robert durango and she'd like to try her hand at directing to she would need to enlist the help of director friend to learn the ropes and to have an interpreter with.

"Her for the movie. I was going to ask her about it but it was needed to to go out actually finish it. I was like one of those things. That was the last thing i wanted to do. And i just. I i feel like everybody involved in this was really gracious and It ended up being so beautiful. And i love that something. Beautiful came out of a day. That was so sort of sad and when search tells the story he's just so sad he's still carrying carrying that day around with him. But then you have this beautiful image. And it's just sort of a great back story thing. Yeah yeah obviously. I love kevin's work. And there was a million reasons why i was drawn to kevin like as a teenager Know i was related to beauty. And you know there weren't as many artists like him who were putting themselves out there. I mean bobby. Brown was and i love. Bobby spoke You know. I love her made book more so than teenage beauty. "Forgiving. You don't wow you really do. Hey i understand where president biden is coming from he needs. Saudi arabia supports or. They won't let american soldiers stay there and america needs those soldiers there to protect america's other soldiers who are there and those soldiers of there to support saudi arabia who support america needs to keep troops there to protect the troops. Who are wait. Doesn't sound right. Oh let me start over. Now on a normal day would spend more time chatting about america's relationship with saudi arabia and just how many killer journalist for free codes. They actually have left. There's no time for that right now. Because there was one story that everybody's talking about and so we need to make time for its cpac but conservative political action conference which is an annual gathering for hardcore rightwing us like the golden globes but for your ons facebook group and it began over the weekend with the organizers begging the audience to where their mosques and they did this by trying to appeal to their conservative principles. And this might sound like a little bit of a downer but we also believe in property rights and this is a private hotel but a private hotel just like your house gets to set its own. Rules carly are cpac director. So please everyone when you're in the ballroom when you're seated you should still be wearing a mask so if everybody can go ahead work.

"And i don't even know why. I really don't get it. I mean america doesn't need to look tough. Something like canada so biden bombing syria all of a sudden. They were like all right but a canceled invasion. A and what's crazy is all the senators can do. This is just complain. It's actually ridiculous. Just how little power. Congress has to actually stop the president's from bombing whoever he wants even a drunk guy at a bar has at least two friends to hold him back and i don't think it's too much to ask for the us government to have more checks and balances than a match wiggins. Say this though. What i do find really interesting. Is that when it comes to helping people you know like raising the minimum wage. Or cancelling student debts biden. Says he respects any tiny senate rules that block. If i can't do it because of the senate when it comes to dropping bombs on people suddenly burdens like man congress. Let's do it now look people. There's a lot to say about how. America concierge stop fighting in the middle east and about the hypocrisy of bombing syria after condemning trump. When he did it but we don't have the time to talk about that hypocrisy because there was an even more blatant one just this weekend. Ford on the grizzly two thousand eighteen murder of washington post columnist. Jamal shook t confirming the us assessment. It saudi arabia's crown prince mohammed bin salman or personally approved the saudi operation to capture or kill husky. Who was a critic of the saudi royal family. The president has decided to give saudi crown. Prince mohammad bin salman pass no direct sanctions basically no punishment the white house now arguing that they must maintain the relationship with saudi arabia but that they are recalibrating. The team at the white house is also being told that sanctions against nbs were quote too complicated and could jeopardize us military interest in saudi arabia. Well i certainly hope. Saudi arabia has learned its lesson. Killing journalists will not be tolerated for a few months. While i'm running for president and then after that it will be tolerated. I'm sorry for raising my voice. No but for real look guys. I'm just joking. This is actually really sweet to see you to find you. Someone who forgives you the way america forgive saudi arabia because every fight they have ends like a romantic comedy. You know just the two of them standing in the rain mad. Because i killed your journalists. I am mad. Saudi arabia and i can't wait to spend the rest of my life.

"Welcome back to the Costa Athlete Program I'm your host chef. Today, we are joined by one of the men who has helped shape one of the biggest brains and body surfing and skin diving or free diving depending on what you choose to identify as we have on the man, the myth, the legend one of the is behind the camera, the Great Nick Nick so good to have you on the show. Absolutely Beerman so I have to ask right off the top. How. Did you get hooked up with because you and Matlin Gio did I pronounce his last name correctly Lingo. Lingo. Thank you. Everybody listened to the show Torius mispronouncing of names between the two of you. You guys are responsible for the majority of public images released by Ert. How'd you get hooked up hooked up with them in the first place? Actually, not really think about it might be a kind of a blurry stories. So there's a thousand, acre, ranch out east in San. Diego that. I am kind of Co.. Owners of I don't own the ranch, but Munich Jake we. Have kind of put together. What is called earlier twenty ranch and Jake's families owned this thousand Acre property since nineteen twelve and as fifty five. Acre Lake on. A. Cabin. In all kinds of different terrain and stuff like that. So years ago through the rest of a group that started, which is rescued watches also on by rob. Smith We met through him in new that was formerly snipers. So they asked me to come out in check out the ranch in need do some schouten. Stuff. So I went out there and I saw we we're able to shoot to like twenty, six hundred meters and I j like you have no idea what you have here. In will only get some boys out here jigs former military he was air. Force. So. Through my connections, I knew mad at the time and we brought matt out there and just shooting various guns and kind of started doing some photo shoots. No quick just because I want to. I want to date for the audience. 'CAUSE as everybody knows like five years ago gun content could help you when the algorithm whereas now you don't necessarily see the same level of push. So at what point was this this forming up happening? This is probably in twenty seventeen. And So maddie and out in and. That's how I got introduced again and then started doing. Random shoots through MAC. and. Become really close with with union the rest of his family. Really, really big into the brand and and what it stood for. In. The logos and designs in the Surf Culture that was speculating waiting so I ended up getting connected with them through that we do some dies up support any way that I could. has now kind of worked for clandestine media. which the huge military media company does a lot of shoots for a lot of the major manufacturers and kind of had to take a step away because he's been on the road for weeks and weeks and weeks at a time and so ian reach out to the announcement. Step into fill Matt's shoes which are big shoes to fill in. More than happy to do so.

"Was a report from. I think it was robbed a mosque. Who covers the Green Bay packers and he made you know at least the packers are aware that they need more pask actors? They reportedly planned to add two of them via free agency and the draft. And you can certainly get a bunch. But I'm not sure that the guy that he talked he said they're played into. Target Austin Hooper. I'm not sure that's what Aaron Rodgers really needs. I would rather see somebody more explosive. I don't know what you think about that but either released Jimmy Graham who's just Zaslov signing for them. I would note that Matlin. Flair was the Falcons quarterbacks coach when Austin who was a rookie in two thousand sixteen in Atlanta But Yeah I. I don't know I'm not sure awesome. Hooper is exactly what fixes. What's wrong with Green Bay right now? Which is clear. It's Green Bay at margin only feels comfortable throwing to Davante Adams. Yeah I think they're awesome. Hooper would be fine signing You give the packers a solid possession tight end just really reliable. Almost eighty percent career catch. Ray Can block enough from a dynasty standpoint. He would block J Sternberg who drafted in the third round. This past year in. I mean I really liked him coming at a at a Texas. A&m But you know. Yeah he he would be a big roadblock in the way of j Sternberg. I'm completely with you. Though in Syria I mean I. I think that they should sign two guys. I mean I think that Al Having Allen Lazard as your number two option. The passing game isn't good enough and I think that even if they signed someone like Austin Hooper. I think should go robby Anderson. You know I think that Robbie Anderson Opposite Davante Adams would give them Just a completely different dynamic in their passing game. I think that they need some any they I think they need an explosive field stretcher. And Yeah if I was. I would focus on a guy like Robin Anderson. I mean mark has vowed is scant laying in theory had the skill set to be that guy but he just did not take a second year. Yeah there were some reports from Our friend Matthew Berry had noted that era jittery like Salazar staff-related Allen. So I think they're going to add a wide receiver for sure. But for now I would consider Allen Lazard the front runner for the number two wide receiver job. Assuming they don't add anybody which then was certainly

"We're gonNA talk about the week ahead I know last week was pretty hard for a lot of people I did say it was going to have a lot of stress energies and then you know had a few people report in cancer diagnoses or reveals of things that were a little harder to find out you know like Gee that I didn't know that was happening or I found out this you know so it it's a it's it's you know remember the bigger picture that we're working with here as all these planets move forward somebody somebody said to me so like what's going on yeah it's like really brutal and I'm like it is it's it's hard choices and I just want to encourage everybody to be very gentle with yourself you know and really kind of take extra care extra care on the self care extra care on how you nurture yourself you know like hanging out with people that you find supportive rather than people that are you know giving you a hard time about stuff and really honoring how do you support yourself how do you support others as we go towards this forward motion monumental Choice and there is a lot of kind of mean energy out there so when I see that I'm always Kinda like you know the there was a thing this week with Ellen Degeneres sitting next to President Bush and everybody yelling at her it's like you know respect for everybody's choices and because the planets are you know the Saturn Pluto are the dogmatic hard father energy the hard authoritarian power you must do this and this week we're having of energy kind of working with that you know like in your face really you want to kind of watch when you're coming across as dogmatic and you must or if someone's coming dog matic you cause remember a lot of times when they're coming after you really is their issue that they haven't resolved yet because there objecting it on you and they're telling you you do it and you kind of look and you go actually that's my it's not my issue that's your issue just kind of being taking an extra moment to be kind and to kind of look for where the blessing is look for the key you know the moment of consideration the moment of thinking I had someone come here and we were talking about his dead wife was you know and he said my wife would lean forward and she'd say have you ever considered in a in you know hoping open the space way and he was in areas and he goes I you know I make decisions I'm like next and she was say you ever considered and so you wanna kind of you know because the energy is like next you want to kind of take that posture of Oh have you ever considered and what that would do now that said you may be like no next and I'm good with that because we are making being choices for our future and we're deciding January January twelfth seven Pluto getting married man so you're going down the aisle with them that day whether you want we're not so you WANNA look at your life and go so like who do I wanNA marry January right I mean we're they're getting married twenty two in your chart you know what you're planning to twenty two capricorn that are getting married to the big guys right so honoring that there's this man of how do we how do we consider and consider of course is sitter whenever anybody says it I always sit up sitter it stars scenarios Odi AC con Sitter working with the stars you go astrology is everywhere man it's everywhere I recently heard Rick Levin say that you know at the conference he goes yeah when they say they don't believe in astrology I go so like you don't use it calendar 'cause the days of the week are all named after the planets right Sundays Sunday Saturn stays Saturday moon day is Monday right and if you know your French or Spanish America J. Marty's Fonder D- those are all you know named the planet's two so our job this week is to honor and to consider how we WANNA work with stars how we want to work with the paths in our lives that are opening up before us the choices were being presented with and the options ahead of us the other thing that happens this week we're going to have a big old mercury retrograde motion the first part of November cause retrograde on Halloween and it's retrograde for twenty one days in November today it enters shadow meaning yesterday actually it under yesterday yesterday and today Mercury under the shadow so what you're going to be working with on the mercury degrade has just shown up right and has just stepped forward and said this is what you're going to work on and you will get it over the next few days you know we approached the shadow this also means that you're going to hear from your old ghosts and I always encourage you to talk to go especially now because these are the Scorpio ghosts and mercury in Scorpio always has really good stories it seems like there's all sorts of secrets being leaked now and you know we can see it in politics we can see it in stories coming forward people wanting to tell us things This week we had a lot about Matlin hour and his behavior Ronin Farrell's new books coming out and he's like I didn't do that and you're Kinda like all right you know the C Chris coming out you know and it and it is part of the job of the Saturn Pluto because they're writing the wrongs they're rectifying the structures they're looking at the structures that are not working for us and they're saying you need a better structure what do you want that structure to be with the idea being getting that structure it in place in January and then starting to build on it all next year right and then really building the next thirty six years so watch for the season ritz in your life mercury is GonNa go retrograde and he is going to talk to you you know so he's going to go all the way up to last year Scorpio and then he's GonNa come on way back down he is in the path of fire so people are very fiery with their communications the Venus is in the path of fire. She's in Scorpio the sun is in the path of fire which is via combustive which is there's a bunch of mean stars and the part and this part of the heavens so Mars will be there next week so I'm oh my little cat just came over to like I said we're going to have a cat visit at this this podcast so the energy of the heavens is really inviting us to find that we're maybe a little on fire and that we're really you know kind of feeling this passionate energy the other thing that happens is last today at six forty six oh seven PM There was a full moon tonight full moon in aries which takes us back to aries time October tape rhyl rather thirteen of eighteen and then back to Capricorn Time January thirteenth of this year and now we have the full moon right and so then when we get to cancer next summer we have the closing when we get to June thirteenth get out of my water um everybody likes my water yeah so we're GONNA have this energy of new vision and seeing things is and reveals because the mercury Venus in Scorpio are tolin tails and Venus now mercury doubt going retrograde it's communication it's paperwork it's things coming to light you WANNA ask you WanNa Kinda say hey you know what if someone calls as long as they're safe goes you know some of them are go should ever talked to again but if they're safe ghost or if you run into someone and they share something that kind of sheds a little light on a situation from your pass that allows you to reframe it and give you a different vision of it that's really important too and I know I always watch the scores b-best stuff because I have a Lotta Scorpio my chart but with mercury there it wants to tell you things that you need to know for decision it's it's it's a decision making mercury remember mercury and Scorpio the energy of Scorpio's about accounting for things and so it's saying to you need to account for this you need to assure this you need to add this factor into your decisions so he also is e- Scorpio's financial sign so we need to think about that this financially we need to think about this in terms of the value to us and what is so it's an interesting energy that we have this week around this consciousness of things coming to light feeling very impassioned also taking it into consideration consider have you ever are considered have you ever tried to work with so blessings on that and honoring where the space is of DC connect now this week Mars is GonNa Square the nodes of fate when he does that he gives us choices he's GonNa ask us to make some choices remember he is entering Venus and Scorpio so he's a little in dense and he's pretty passionate and he also is making choices so it's important to take into consideration to take into balance and as we go forward into the fall season and the days get shorter and shorter and shorter we are really in that time of descending into the internal L. darkness seeing the plants shed their leaves she ing the world release here at least in the northern hemisphere down south everything's blooming but we're released thing we're entering that phase of deep Al Chemical Transformation Scorpio is the sign of alchemy and WE'RE GONNA be experienced this transformation in our lives in the lives of our friends and it is time when things are going to be revealed illnesses will be diagnosed stories will change and it's not going to be I don't think it's going to be as hard as last week was but it is Mercury Scorpio so you you might find that some of the stories that you're told are a little harder than you would like all right so tonight do your ritual it's about releasing back to April back to January of last year April of last year January of this year culminating sending it out into the world and so the Moon Today the moon today's and areas with a closing aspect of square to Pluto at six and it read and it goes into tourists tomorrow afternoon at twelve twenty four p That is Thanksgiving Day in Canada happy Thanksgiving are IAN friends that is suck us in the Jewish tradition that is Columbus Day here most people have the day off I will be working because I just Ted ten days off and I can't be too much of a slug Abed even though I might WanNa sleep in tomorrow morning so anyway the moon goes into tourist twelve twenty four four and Monday and Tuesday with that lovely moon tours a really very productive days Munin tourists has a lovely trying to Pluto at four thirty eighty seven am kinda pushing it forward and then the moon is void all day Wednesday on the sixteenth goes forward or four thirty seven in the morning void all day but a good closing aspects so even though it's you can get a lot of stuff done but just don't start new stuff but you really good aspects Monday all day Tuesday all the seventeenth and all the eighteenth going void at ten fourteen pm moon is trying winning Geminis trying Sunan Libra so those are very collaborative cooperative connecting relating partnering

"It was always something there that just wasn't right. And so when I look at that if I'm the fan base, if I'm just a fan of sport. I understand that Matlin flora understand it. He said it I know how important this relationship is. Well, the relationship hasn't even started yet because you don't really start a relationship you can talk to someone. But when you meet them, what's the first thing men is great to finally meet face to face put a name to as like, that's that's when the relationship truly starts, and you can truly start to build something. Because now, I see your mannerisms. I see your body language. I see. How you recept if either are you receptive to what I'm saying? Or are you just kinda deflecting? And so right now, there's none of that taking place in. I don't like it. Because again, if this team is going to be successful. It is not going to be Matt leflore. It is going to be Aaron Rodgers and how embraces Matla floor and how he takes his team moving forward on his shoulders and carries them to some wins out quickly were you able to connect with Aaron as rookie right away right away. Off-season like off season. I remember being in the team dining and going over to get a drink and Aaron coming up to me and saying this is going to be us. There's going to be our squad a couple years like an I like it put a smile on my face because I knew what he was alluding to. We never spoke of it. But it was like that's the type of guy that I wanna play with and we had a ton of success together. He did. Agree with you saying, I think this is unacceptable. I think Aaron should've just flown even if it's just for the day for the introductory press conference. Just come in to show his face because he always always had he has to get past the this Monica or this this stigma of him being aloof, and this is unacceptable now. I'm sure Matt leflore. But it seems to me I follow Aaron a little bit needs over here. These in Paris and needs doing what he's doing. But I just think it's very interesting something that you really wanted. He'll never say this publicly you wanted to change at the helmet the head coach. Okay. They Accu Wes not only did they get rid of. They got rid of before the season begins them fresh. Look, they wanna get an early start a head start will consider you couldn't talk to anybody. That's. Time. Anyway, I don't get why they did that. Let's get for me. Aaron should've just you know, what I'm fly for introductory press conference. I'm will shake his hand. Do a great little just to make it look because this looks like I ain't interested. I'll be back when I absolutely have to be let me tell you. I don't know you never had to do. But let me tell you about old longest relationship Bayless. Hey, you got to put a lot of time in and long relationship will work if you've been in a relationship before yet in the other the other party understands that I got to go away for a while. But this what we're gonna do this. We're going to do it. But the start off with a low relationship, and then we go one two three months without seeing each other. That thing doomed don't. Don't. Have you seen not about? I am astounded by this. But it's cements the fact that what I said from day one is the truth that basically this young man, and he's only thirty nine years of age was basically hired to be the assistant head coach of the Green Bay Packers that Aaron will have final say. It may have been that way. The last two years with Mike McCarthy, and I am intrigued that there's a new ESPN interview. That might did. I think it's going to air today. We've got to hear some tidbits of it and Mike McCarthy said that the Packers couldn't have handled his firing any worse any worse. So that got ugly. But it seemed like it was lovey dovey..

"It. It looks good. The people who were half the late. Right. We're all we're all for it. When it looks good arguments. People say, well, you know, this is another example of women have no change the way they dress because men can't control themselves xactly, Jerry. I didn't say that. That argument that you can't say, oh, well, you're you're causing problems because the way you're dressing. But then there's also is a fact that men are visual, and it is a big distraction. I'm not against women wearing leggings at all. Except for in church. Now where we agree Jared. That's. And place for everything Jason, and I think in church and not only were these girls in church with his mom that was upset about wearing leggings. They're wearing leggings and half shirts in church. It's really almost anywhere else. But not sure that's less evidence for me number one. Yeah. I don't know. I think it's ironic because if a guy like man kisser Matlin out and more leggings would this Mambi outraged that it'd be outraged? A lot of people. Showed a church with like, a cut off sleeves or something. I would say no doubt appropriate for church sexual this mom saying that sexual, but if guys were anything like that or guys were shorts or guys any tight jeans all of a sudden, it's not sexual. It's not like they feel bad for girls because they can't keep their eyes off with guys wearing that. I wish they did. I wish I could come in here with some skin tight, jeans and girls be like. Jeans are pretty tight. Are there like the tighter than well? I don't know. No, exactly. Matt shows up in church, and he's wearing leggings and his package is on full display. I. That most women would say, look, that's disgusting and not a turn on whatsoever. No offense. No, it's fine. Ninety nine percent of women would probably say. Showed up. Yeah. But I I'm with Jared on this. That's the reason that I got upset about it in the beginning was that there's a time and a place in church and one of them. No. Like, that's me. That's a time to be respectful. Yes. Now, if I'm shopping at target or I'm out with my girlfriends, don't you dare tell me what I'm allowed to wear and not wear mind your own business. Raise your boys to have the values and the standards to not Google and idol era. Sexualize women like you can go into a target, Jared and not drool mom. From addition. So he ducked behind. Katie. I'm telling you that the struggle is real. No, no, no, no. I agree. But you're still you control yourself. You don't have to. But I mean, I was at planet fitness judgment free zone. And I like to watch other people. I'm a people watcher working out that hard anyway. We now moving though, I'm moving. I'm starting back. So you got to start somewhere. By being in the tanning bed. "That when you hire somebody who is standing next to the Boy Genius or the latest one in the NFL. You think a lot of that stuff rubs off? I often said, you know, I could stand next Vincent Van Gogh. But that doesn't mean I could paint like Vincent Van Gogh. And I think it's I think this is a leap of faith, not just here. But as you mentioned other teams to that are that are doing this kind of thing. I just wonder has the NFL changed has the whole process change where you started as a position coach at any became a coordinator. And then he became a head coach does the does the coordinator position not mean as much as it did even five years ago. Yeah. No. I mean, different cases coordinators are play caller or summer facilitators. Anyway, where they're not really calling the place, but more this thing the head coach in doing so today work as a fifteen head coaching position coaches. I think people look at experience through they've worked under what kind of variety that ad. And I think you look at that with Matlin Florida's a good example that he wanted to go to Tennessee simply called play get that experienced down before he made that bridge Pugh NFL head coach. So these guys are aware that they wanna live more seasoning. Sometimes you throw them in the fire and the they're ready to go. So you never know what you're going to get because it's a whole 'nother level to organizing a whole team motivating making the team go all filters every single week that part is really hard. The scheming and coordinating either part of a. Being head coach. Yeah..

2018 NFL training camp preseason players to watch

"A few more days of practice Head of them still and the latest is Anthony Costanzo and the way that coach. Reich kinda describes the injury to Costanzo is Oh it he had it and he's got it back and he's gonna There's. Gonna be some rest right he's gonna. Need a little bit of time. It's as vague as. Anything, out. There I'm wondering about Costanza 's future tell me I'm wrong Yeah Tony I I don't know about in terms of long term but I think. It's something to monitor the, rest? Of the that it'd be the first injured. Hamstring about two weeks before training camp. Started and then re tweaked it. During Friday night practice It's. Been really really durable NFL career he's only miss three games, maybe since his rookie season it's eleven and he looked, at positions on the colts. Roster and talk about depth I think left tackle might be, the most bear and unproven position on the roster so Dongo's bend your left tackle for the last seven years and he's going to miss a little bit of. Time, and, that, is very vague and maybe he doesn't play the, rest of the pre season but you would think just a tweaking of a hamstring he would be able to go by the regular season opens up here in a little over a month So you don't see it as a serious thing when you take a, look at the injuries that he had last year No, he was hoping last year two years ago think or maybe even the year before that when he was heard so I I don't. Think it's anything to fret over long term why. This is a guy that has been extremely extremely durable in bell career That guy wanting the, blind side of you know Through that awful twenty eleven so you end up through Angeles early. Years in these past couple of years as well I don't think it's anything that. It's a reoccurring injury that happened for several years maybe came back a little bit too soon, from that hamstring injury and and he openly. Admitted he kinda. Over trained in the off season so rest stuff you don't. Need a Santa Costanza in the month of August you need to see some of these other guys play left tackle in case this does become a lingering issue talking to. Kevin Bowen from ten seventy the fan dot com that's where you go to get all of. His latest on what's going on a training camp one of the things I noted is that when it comes to running back where, a little bit, of everywhere and nowhere on here we've, got MAC I think people are happy with him. But you, need a, little bit of that day Angela shoulder maybe better, but he still needs to hand off the ball who is he handing off to and, what are we seeing a lot of young guys Tony with Robert Turbin suspended for the first, four games James Andrew lock arguably I think the top three running back to the roster none, of them have, played with lock when you talk about, Marlin MAC going into the second season the mid. Rookies and, I am, highs and Jordan Wilkins as well and Jim Irsay, had quite hyperbole on Friday night saying that he thinks Marlee Matlin rush for fifteen hundred, yards this season I don't know if anyone in for Is He has his, bell Donald Trump of, sports just don't let them tweet Did he tweet which one was it he said it yeah. Said that we have three hundred and fifty yards rushing all last year so that's that's quite the jump for the second year back and especially. On the colts have said they want to be running back by committee so I think there are some young pieces to work with with MAC and what Jordan Wilkins the fifth round pick, out of night's camp, and I kind of bored More of a hybrid player probably help you out on special teams maybe a wide out as well so that's really really. Unproven and when roster cuts happen and the end of August you know you might be a decision that you look for more of a, more of a veteran objects I. Do think there, is something. To work with their but if the group they just, hasn't proved, themselves on the NFL level quite yet as you see it so far as in training camp Who is the player that we should be looking at and who's the player who you think is causing the most concern But I. Think a player that's really, surprises then the Niko Autry new defensive lineman signed from Oakland this past season. Back in March, I think one of the I think it was the first free, agent signing, McColl patio in, twenty eighteen and you know when you're talking about quit Nelson and how dominant the rookies ban, you know in full pads the guy that have occasionally been Autry and. The colts need some help with this new four three Friday and, Autry I think could be kind of a nice surprise I. Think that a guy that you feel, good about concern standpoint I'd probably go back into the secondary and go Quincy Wilson the second round pick some last year Who figure to be. Maybe the number one cornerback a corner in. General I think as a physician group that hasn't had a lot of play making here. In the first couple of, weeks at grand park and they're rotating a lot of bodies there doesn't look. Like many documents, in terms of starters and that group so they need Quincy Wilson, to a, merge because you, spent a second round pick on them you know we know full well how valuable corners are, today that I Sal and the colts just don't have a lot to. Work with with that you know kind of really a it's of, your top four corners I would say three of them are..

"Industry has been trying to be no more diverse is that why the show is happening or is it is a good show well i mean it is it is a good show it it's you can tell they made it on a shoestring the her moments when the lack of money that they had for the project kinda shows through but i do think that with this explosion of television there is a hunger ford tv shows that depict very specific circumstances that a wide range of people can relate to so we're seeing people who previously were not allowed to be creators not allowed to necessarily tell their own stories they're finding ways and being provided opportunities where they can tell their own stories and so for example both you know uh kate and michael had or have romantic relationships with people who can here and so there's there's a whole dynamic there where the dynamic between the couple's different and then kate and michael share a bond that they can never share with their romantic partners who are hearing just because of the very specific experience of being death and the show brings you into that experience so you are sitting in silence any and watching the two of them sign with each other in reading subtitles and of getting just a tiny inkling of what it's like there's one seeing we're kate is in a a meeting and her hearing aid malfunctions in you start to hear you know they changed the audio and make it sound weird and then you get a sense of how disorienting that can be so that's what's great about the show is it pulls you into that experience you get to hear which he here's what was so so what do you think this means dagens we've seen a slow increase in depth his ability we mentioned marlee matlin who also who plays a character in the show oh so she's in this too but as he said for the longest time she was you know a standalone somebody who actually had the disability that she is the act as an actress was portraying do you think will be seeing more people who actually have.

"So tell us more i mean obviously they are deaf is deafness the primary thing they deal with on every show i mean had quietly that's a major element of the show is sort of trying to present death characters who are not defined by their deafness but you know of course it's a major element of their lives at times in the same way that for people of color if you you're an african american sometimes you races a is a major issue in your life and sometimes it isn't so we see these two characters moves through the world but there are times when the world reacts to their deafness in a way that kind of smacks them in that had a little bit and and so we have a clip where kate was invited to take part on a industry panel she she works as a publicist in hollywood on when she gets on the panel she realizes it's all about handicapped actors and so she has to tell them you know well i'm i'm not an actor number one and number two i'm not sure that i appreciate how you group me in here and so what we're going to hear is that person who's hosting the panel and the person who's translating for k i guess handy has i am death carl encompass i wouldn't put yourself in a box like that i actually never thought miss out like that until now you can learn from our stories that's great but then why it you move on from this and beat fade back into the shadows to be honest it doesn't even see like in his our stories that were telling it's more like the stories you want us to tell you focus on our disability but not who we are and if there's a mission statement for the show i would say part of it is that they're trying to get past these roles these characterizations we're the characters deafness sort of defines who they are it's very interesting is very compelling will and i'm thinking how long it's taken from marlee matlin who had to for the longest time be like the deaf actress you know what are the only ones but is it look the tv in.
