"Your life will change. Your world will rock. In this next clip, I sit down with my wife, Julie, also known as Sri mati, as she takes us through the power of the breath and the posture of yoga as tools of activation for spiritual connection. She explains how a regular practice can result in a better life for ourselves. One that breaks the bonds of our past habits and allows us to reclaim our sovereignty. Enjoy. Intellectual conversation is wonderful. It's amazing. And it really is important for us as humans to bond and connect and be inspired. And then there is a whole other universe of transcendence that happens in the processes of technique. And you can not transcend by talking about it. You know, it will only lead you to a certain place. And we see this demonstrated in our sessions of holotropic breathing when we're on retreat. And you see humans go into a breathing space. And there are people who have almost never practiced yoga before, and they have transcendent experiences. You have witnessed it yourself. Yeah, there are literally psychedelic experiences. Literally. And again, I worked with somebody today who came to me who said, you know, I feel like my life is almost past me by and I have failed to access the spiritual part of who I am. And just in one session, she has such an awareness of her spiritual nature. Given the space, humans are connected to their spirituality. We are truly, I heard you say it recently. I'm a spiritual being having a human experience. Right. So water Tiger is this technique. Is this portal of techniques, which are designed to lead you into a deep relationship with your own being. Because your life is about you and you alone. It's not about my life. And it's not about any of the kids life. It's about you and you alone. And you have, we all have the opportunity to choose our sovereign connection to our spiritual nature. And what would those techniques be? Well, I mean, they're massive. I mean, there's, well, there's like 40 maybe in the portal right now. There are devotional prayers, there are techniques that lead you to drop into the black, fullness, it's empty, full space. It's not empty space. But it's the void where you can replenish in that meditative state and gather energy in that state. And others are for amplifying presence, amplifying your presence in your body. There's a saying that if you don't embody your life print, meaning your physical body and your energetic bodies, some thing or someone else will. So meaning, you could have an ancestral pattern that is living inside of your life print. Because you have not embodied that. You have not claimed your energy back. Right, so to put a finer point on that an example would be in my own case, me perpetuating a pattern that was imprinted on me by my mother or my father or the way that I was raised such that I'm not conscious that I'm in furtherance of this unhealthy behavior

"Future Lewandowski's and witzel's by visiting our website, a transfer talk is over there. I certainly going to be interesting when you take a look at the favorites for the tournament, Spain, up there with England, there's quite a number of teams actually being called the favorites across the board, but no doubt with the likes of potassium topped that FC ranking list. And of course, I turn up on mati herself, Spain will definitely be a force to be reckoned with Jenna saler. Let's talk a little bit more about the national side and how their chances to win the whole thing are being seen back in Spain. Well, it's, of course, the favorite team here in Spain, but I think we shouldn't put it there as the main candidate. I think we can not forget about Germany for miss the team who can compete the best, locals, of course, England, even Sweden. They were silver in the Olympics. So I think there are quite some interesting I would put the Netherlands there too. Some interesting squads and it's going to research a competitive era this year. I would just take a look at Group B, Spain's group, along with Germany, Denmark and Finland when you talk about how competitive things are going to be. You can see Germany 5th in the FIFA ranking Spain 7th, but it does have to be said there are some big stars in there, including Bond massie Gemma, also puti as there is some big stars to be checking out in the Spanish side. Yeah, and it's interesting. It's going to be the baseline of this team is Barcelona that team that won La Liga and were in the final of the Champions League. So it reminds us, of course, a lot of what happened when Spain was for the first and only time world champion in the men's football team because it was the same. It was that the center del bosque squad in South Africa were Barcelona. So it's kind of the same now because they have the same gold keepers. They have a maple leonida Patrick, Alexia puta, say Bon mati, mariona, calende. So it's the same baseline and with some great additions. Of course, there is a huge setback that top scored a general. She's injured. So they are going to be missing her goals. But it's such an interesting competitive team who are listening to it and I want to say is the new Alexia put. So it's such an interesting team, but they had such a big setback in the final of the Champions League. That Barcelona in terms of physicality, so it's going to be very interesting if they can compete at that same physical level as for example, Germany. Yeah, you mentioned what a big miss Jenny Adam moss will be for everybody for the fans watching as well. But it was interesting to hear by mati say there that you did look up to the likes of Iniesta and what they did mean when you're saying that it's a Barcelona and a base in this side as well. This is a team that could be setting an example and like she's hoping to have some of the young men, the young boys playing football looking up to them too. Yes, actually they are, you know, this season. The T-shirt who was in the last classic on the come now, the teacher who was sold the most. It was Alexia putas, not a man T-shirt. The second one was pedris T-shirt. Of course, Leo Messi is gone. That's a big difference. But it's changing a lot and what it might was mentioning. It's very interesting. They were not having role models. I don't know it was the same for UK, but for me, we had really few role models, womans working as a sport journalist, but we had some of them. This football players, they didn't have that. There was not a TV doing the woman's football, so they had to look at that man now. It's completely changed. You walk through the streets in Barcelona in Spain in Europe and you see teachers of Barcelona with Alexia bottega with Bon mati with a more so with Mariana calde. So that's a huge difference. And you see lots of girls playing in the street football. So it's going to be a change maker that that thing it's a game changer. And I think it will be seeing a lot of evolution from women's football, of course. There are times are definitely changing them for the better too. The women's Euros just around the corner here on ESPN and Gemma will be involved for us. That kicks off on July 6th, you can watch every game live across the network here on ESPN. Well, we thank all of our contributors tonight because.

"Roll it. Well, well, well, hello, welcome to couple's therapy. My name is Ann. And I am Naomi. And we are here with our dear pets around us Mabel. Surround us. And you want to maybe lean in a bow tie. She's ready for everyone. Truly grateful. Maybe you've all come here to support her. Yes, thank you so much. Thank you. She just had her fourth round of chemo to that yesterday and today process. I don't know if really a three day process. If you count till tomorrow. Can you see it wearing on us? Do you see like we were just on our first vacation like a year and a half? We went for a couple of days to Palm Springs. And so I let my beard grow a little bit. Chock full of white. I don't know if it's just a pandemic, if it's just Asian, could just be aging. Or if it's also just like all the stuff we're dealing with with mammal, but it is sapping. Oh, you can kind of see some of mine. Y'all can see some of that girl. It is real. It is real, and I call it pandemic gray. Because I didn't have all that. No, okay, I didn't have on app before March 2020. Naomi's 28 and already looks like rogue. From the X-Men. I like that you said it like mister movie phone. That's a real throwback. Dial two. Or diagnosis murder. Dial four, or I married an expert murderer. I don't know. I tried to think of a movie from the past. I know I'm talking about that earlier today. I could think of a movie, so I literally was like, what TV show was on 20 years ago? Y'all can we talk a little bit about how veterinarians love to make you crazy? Can I get into that and drew? Well, I was gonna say, why don't we just go through Mabel's stuff and eventually get there? But if you want to start well now, what do you mean? Guys, we're on the uncharted waters. I love it. Go ahead. I'm gonna jump suit on show. It's probably you wanna start. I was just gonna go like, if you don't know what the process of chemotherapy is with a dog. Yes. Depending on, I guess, I guess it's different for every kind of dog that different chemicals, different, whatever's for Mabel. It is a two day process that we are doing every week for four weeks and then every other week for two months, two months, two months. So yeah, when I say halfway through, I mean, halfway through in terms of the number of treatments. We still have another two months of this. But she's doing good y'all, Mabel is doing way better. It's wild how this dog is straight chilling. I thought she was gonna like be real tire. She was gonna be like a little rickety. Mabel don't give a fuck, okay? I'm sorry, I heard parents were watching. I shouldn't be cursing. No. Mabel is chilling loving her life out here running these streets literally? She has poison coursing through every cell in her body and it is not slowing her down in the slightest. I swear to God, I'm like, we should all be so lucky. I know I couldn't do it, y'all. I literally was told I had a lumpy titty, and I said, cash it in. Cash it in. Wasn't even cancer. Just told that mati was lumpy and I said I'm out. I'm out. And I'm the one who told her. And I literally was like, okay, I need like the moment I was like, I'm lumpy, I'm gonna die. I'm just like, I take to my bed. I don't speak above a whisper. Right. I treat every conversation like it's the last year of Victorian. Very much so. We're like, Andy's like, I'm gonna go to the grocery store and I'm like, cherish it. Cherish it. I couldn't take it. That was like for just one week. And then Mabel up in here actually getting Nick chemotherapy and is like, can I eat some food? Can we hit the streets? And I'm like, yeah, you're right. You're right. Our neighborhood is like full of broken glass. It looks like crystal knock happens every night or something. And so it's very difficult walking me, but and I was like, not looking forward to the chemotherapy swallowing her down, but I was like, oh, it'll be easier to navigate the piles of broken glass and the burnt out husks of trash cans. Absolutely, when she is full of these chemotherapy chemicals, no, it's not. It's worse. She has more. The opposite. It's like a comic book. It's like she was bitten by a radioactive chemotherapy. Radioactive chemotherapy. Absolutely. I mean, didn't you say it was very very Wolverine? Yes. And Wolverine energy. Yeah. Yeah, yeah. It's like weapon X of course, a very common reference that everyone will get now. I'm actually, I bet that's more of a, I bet enough people have seen the movies at the very least, if not read them. I was gonna say adamantium. That is what I know. That's how many of those movies I've seen Adam Angie horses through Wolverine's veins. They are adamantium is his bones, right? I was not going to be replying. I was not going to correct it. I know, I know you weren't, and that's why we're still together. Because you will let me just pop up at the mouth. What did you say my first T-shirt should be, it's just me saying, I just be saying stuff. Sure. 'cause that's it. I just pop off at the mouth, let the chips fall where they may. After the jubu T-shirt sell out, then I'd just be saying stuff. Which is basically beside what? Okay, did Luke just call us nerds? Luke, I'm not a nerd. What if I just start fighting with people in the chat? And that's the whole thing. I don't put that comment up. The comments we want. When they insult us, Nikki, please don't put up comments insulting us. But so Friday, so it's basically like this. Friday, we take her across town, drive 40 minutes down. Santa Monica, historic root two to the vet hospital across town. And she gets a shot of chemicals and then the next day she we give her pills in the morning. Although every week it's been different. We thought last week we had settled on a routine where we get some dog food some wet dog food she likes and put the pills in. And she ended up last week. This week, now we're back to struggling with her begging her praying. I hated it. Frank God, cat food. Mabel loves cat food, and I'll do what it takes. I don't care. Grant, they literally cat food is like eating potato chips for a dog. The vet has said that..

And where usually you're used to seeing the shelves chockablock full. There are a lot of empty spaces and for some reason a reason. I don't know maybe you know christa. The item that is in the shortest supply of anything in the marketplace. Right now is sports drinks gatorade and powerade. I don't know suddenly everybody working out a lot more. I don't know why it's soccer and football season and other seasons. I'm sure to but those two items being greater short supply than anything else. I i don't know. But i will tell you that. There's something you need to know about. The supply chain is that we're so used to everything being available all the time. And i mentioned this back in the summer that we're back to more historical patterns where you go into stores and what they have is what they have versus what we become so used to with worldwide distribution systems that. Everything's available all the time until it wasn't an isn't now but there is an unequal situation going on so my wife lane and my son love baas mati rice. Something ironically enough. I can't eat because for some reason it gives me an. Nf lactic reaction. I don't know why but anyway they love it in these packs that you stick in the microwave and ninety seconds later you got rice and so it'll be a snack or it'll be a quick meal whatever or it'll be. Somebody's added other food. So these 92nd rice packs are really hard to find when you go around shopping and particularly for some reason as mati is one that is routinely in short supply. So i'm doing shopping at the supermarket working for my wife's list that she'd text me on my phone. Then she'll send another tech. So i forgot this and add that and she said by all the buzz rice packs they have so i go over there and all the packs they had were one..

"And the loss. I'd agree with that. That's that's the issue with getting is the culprit as well as you start to lose a mix of who you are in a way. So the business twenty eighteen. I got a feeling that you probably realized it was more value. Like if i really look at that period of time the business was launched. We were starting to say independent agency. Honest come out similar like yourself. Mati fox gavin rubinstein. Those sorts of agents booting their own firms car. Really say how in ten years from now a lot of franchise based firms like your your marshall watts and all those sort of big name brands. The big national brands. I constantly see how they become valuable in the long run. Because they they impose like a lot of big corporations. They impose a lot of rules on how people go about doing business. And they don't change as quickly as the market changes and so i. I got a feeling that you know you probably realized that to the ended. Get time but you could probably just capture more value doing it yourself because you're doing a better anyway. Like saw one of two thousand seventeen like some of these outright. "Because there's there's been such a proliferation of other cocktail bars and and places go to get a drink in detroit but at the same time they're cocktail program really is second to none. In every time. I've gone in there. It's been an incredible experience and Just cheers to them now devon. I went to your part of town over the weekend last weekend. After we had our conversation. I said to myself devon says. I should have the sandwich and so i had the sandwich i did. What devon said. I was not lead astray. I went to matty's right there near Right there in the kind of the heart of dearborn. I went ahead and had the prime time. I also tried the ellen's favourite which was very good now. The ellen's favourite actually really liked that was hot corn beef coleslaw swiss cheese russian dressing on rye to good sandwich but the thing that struck me as i got in there this place. It's gotta have a ton of history people who know it's kind of one of those if you if you know you know maddie's deli has been around for decades over thirty years. It's on a kind of under under serb commercial corridor over there. Monroe street pretty buildings just just. Yeah just just south of michigan avenue in dearborn near the ford historic homes. Which i know. Well it's been serving the client the clientele the neighbors for years. Also get a lot of four people because now there's there's multiple four buildings in that area so the people the people go there no it well. It does fantastic. It's just a true real deli and you don't honestly there's not that not that many left of those old school decades owned Decades old privately owned delis that have been in the family for years. My favorite is the carol temptation turkey breast coleslaw swiss cheese. Russian dressing on rye. One hundred percent my go-to it's it's the best sandwich in town for my money and the architectures cool too. It's kinda got that like. I don't know the exact age of the building but it's got that kind of forties fifties like white tile vibe and then like the old school neon style sign and like the blue in the white. I took a bunch of pictures with some action. Going to put up on the daily detroit instagram. So people can kind of see. I took them to go and went and actually enjoyed them in elizabeth park just a bit away. The whole experience was great. You can get yourself better. Made potato chips and i walked out of there. And yeah you know. The sandwich was like eleven ninety. Nine twelve ninety nine but that doesn't take him it's a it's a chunky sandwich and it was so good i ate half of it first and then it turned into two meals because i had half and then the potato chips and then i had the other half like the next it was it was good. And that's the best part is basically. That's two meal sandwich you get something for lunch. He gets for dinner or breakfast. The next day You get you get more than your money's worth in In meet their aunt. I gotta i gotta shout out there. Brownies are unbelievable. You gotta get brown if you go there. And when they have it they can get you a ball in your soup for seventy five cents extra. The matsu ball is amazing It's just such such a trip back in time Like you said the architecture is amazing. it's served. Its really serve the ford the ford workers in that population for for decades. Now it's a it's a real gem in in west dearborn. I'm glad you got to check it out i. It was a great recommendation. And i wanna hear listener recommendation. So we've talked about a number of sandwich places in the past but if they're somewhere.

"This is just more consolidation in an industry. That is you know has been growing quickly but has some headwinds. The combined company means that they will be in five. Us states they'll have seven cultivation and processing facilities and twenty-three retail outlets and their goal is to take it to over thirty in the next year. I mean this is a blockbuster deal when it comes to the cannabis industry. I'm kind of sad that we're losing like gauges still there. But is no longer michigan headquartered company he had i appreciate you saying that. I not a not huge into marijuana from just the face value step by but i appreciate you saying that because i'm fascinated with the business case of this because this is huge. I don't know when the last time we've had this kind of overall business and economic opportunity that we have now with the cannabis industry and it's just as someone in kind the business realm and the entrepreneurial ram is incredibly exciting And we're still in a little bit and kind of the wild west phase where we're getting all of these different smaller companies emerging things are going to shake out and there's going to be mergers acquisitions there's gonna be some coalescing of these larger companies. But i can tell you. I mean this is all great because you know the local. The local businesses are going to get some money out of this. I I went up to or drove up to a wedding and boyne a couple of weeks ago and i counted because it started to see them so much. I counted thirty. Three different billboards for separate cannabis companies Were you know shops or things. Like that on seventy five up to boyne. It's incredible jerry the proliferation of this industry. And it's great because it's an economic boom and gay just been so aggressive lately. They partnered up with rapper. Wiz khalifa and their financial growth is strong in the second quarter of twenty twenty one. The company pulled in twenty six point. Four million bucks now that is up one hundred and thirty percent from the same time last year so of course they are not acquisition target. That is that's huge moves. I do think and i. It does presents an opportunity for a lot of michigan-based and detroit-based Owners and operators in this industry to hopefully hopefully make some money. I mean this is. This is an industry. That has been around in michigan for god decades right and now there's an opportunity to legitimize it to the point where these people can actually become real business owners Owners and operators and actually make some real money in this. And i think it's just it's it's a really good opportunity and it's a long time coming. It is longtime coming though. The federal government needs to get off the block on this because just so people know the company that bought them as canadian-based and although gauge their headquarters you know their operations headquarters are in troy. They have hundreds of employees. Here they relisted on the canadian stock exchange because of those federal reasons and the united states were continuing the miss out on these opportunities because this is industry is going to be here right like it's not going anywhere so we need to really thinking about opening up these doors and i feel like this should be bipartisan thing. It's a case for you know civil liberties and being able to you know have cannabis own and operate canvas. Businesses partaken cannabis. It's a economic play to get more money more tax dollars. There's opportunities for equity here and try to start to write to begin. Just start little bit so starting to right. The wrongs with the war on drugs can think is most bipartisan issue. I can think of right now which is hard to say now. These days everything is a is an us versus them thing. This is kind of all of us can benefit from this in one way or another.

So this is a gift from engineer randy and we all love engineer. Randy and engineer randy has a wonderful tangle into in finding things that maybe you wouldn't normally think of to drink. He knows like after a couple of drinks after knowing a couple of things you like. He's able to go off the menu or off of what you normally would think of and come up with an amazing thing and so for my birthday. He gave me a bottle of bombay bramble blackberry and raspberry flavored gin which is something. I would never in a million years by for myself. This is a wonderful flavor. Jin i never would have done it for myself but you know it kind of makes it a little bit folly to you know go. Yeah absolutely. i wouldn't have thought of a a kind of flavor jin like that but it sounds really good. Well i'll have to try that. Actually were both We're both sipping on gin in one way another. I've got a gin cocktail myself negroni. I've mentioned it before. It's one of my favorites. Feels very appropriate for either like a late spring or an early fall and here. We are in early fall. The one thing about macaroni. Though you know. Obviously it's got the campari. I throw a little orange bidders in there with the gin and then of course the the sweet vermouth. So that's kind. My trick is the orange. Bidders really give it a little bit of a extra extra kick to it extra orange flavor but i always always always stir and ice and then pour it out into a into a glass so i like to drink mine without the i senate all right..
