"The checks. It would have worked out, at least you would have gotten the vote. I bet you would have made that deal. Is Sarah is a filthy comic, by the way. She looks like suburban mom kind of. Right. But she's not. She does not look like a superb. I mean, I mean, she doesn't look like she looks like she looks like the mob that other moms go, just stay out of her way. Maybe. But she's like, the mom that like, you're like, oh, you can't talk to that mom. There's moms that no, no, not like that. Dude, might like to grow on this girl's shaney rush who's like a fitness trainer slash fighter that does that boxing thing I do. The boxing program, the fight camp. At the end of her workout, she goes, you've been shaney smashed. And that's always what my wife walks in. Like, really? Like, come on. All right, so then Miguel Pereira, who is a Michelle or Michael, is it Mikel? I think it's Michelle. I think it's a shelf a hat. So he thought pons and EB all right? Another fight where I thought Pereira won. Like I didn't think it was that, but you look at poppy real face, it was the biggest robbery of all time. And I was like, no, he landed the harder punches. I thought he did the most damage. And he was a guy that when he first came to UFC, Don, he was doing backflips, jumping off the cages, like doing all kinds of crazy shit that he was losing. I have to fight. He got into a good camp where they cut out all that bullshit. Like literally not one, it's not as fun to watch him in a little bit because he's not doing crazy, but he's winning. Now he's winning. And he beat it. I made the difference. Yeah, so. Well, virtual. He's the biggest welterweight I've ever seen in my life. Yeah. He is so much bigger than I don't know how he cuts the weight and then blows back up like that. But it isn't even just like he tall. I mean, he's so much taller. He just a giant for the division. And then, and I think what we saw in that scoring was there was an emphasis. I think they scored it more based on impact versus volume because pons and nibia was definitely connecting more. I mean, he was that bad. But then went for Haywood coming to us. Clearly, they were scoring in favor of that power, you know? Because when it was a split, I was not surprised. It was a split decision. Because I always think it was, if they base it just on how many times he connected, you got to go with pumps and if you. But if you go with who was really affecting the other guy, you got to go with the hand. And so I'm just glad it worked out that I had because I want my parf. So that was so then afterwards, right? Said he wanted to fight mass at all because my father was wife was in his DMs, right? So there was a emoji of Masvidal going like the prayer emoji, you know? And then moss would all tweeted out bullshit. Like, hey, we live in an age where people are suckers, blah, blah, blah..

"There's always been an element of doubt with Connor and that's kind of played into the hype into the festivities, but when he emerged victorious, it added to the mystique. Now since he's not emerging victorious as often, other than it's against a washed cowboy Cerrone, that mystique really doesn't seem to be as strong now. That's all you need. Again, his best fight? Probably against Jorge Masvidal. Because maybe he could be masculine. Maybe he doesn't muscle it all. Four round territories. It's the classic name on card versus and they won't. Yeah. You could also get tapped out. But you got a good 50 50 chance. So like him and Jorge is like a good 50, 50 fight. He goes against he goes against kamaru. He's dead. As a human being. But we all love sanctioned violence here. I don't know if I want to see that. And that's kamaru for some reason. Deciding to come in and be like, I'll stand up with you for a second and get caught. But tomorrow's not stupid. Once that bell ring, you can say whatever you want. You could say I'm the most boring fighter. Tomorrow is like, I've cleaned out this division, not once. Yeah, I am an incredible wrestler, and this guy's my hands have gone for wrestling. And my hands have gotten way better. So I don't think he even tries on the feet. He wouldn't bother. It's down on the ground. The guy has no submission defense. When Habib got when Habib clipped him around, what was around three when he tagged him hard? That was his, he was a toy with him. He was basically showing, oh, I actually can box. And I'm going to take a quick look at this..

"Like I heard they're on an investigation for that because there's a Trump supporter sucker punching a guy. Right. And the thing is, is that if Colby doesn't press charges, moss doesn't keep doing that. Masala is in a key that's going up. Everywhere you fucking shows up with 5 guys and punching Colby in the head. Or anybody else that he makes mad. If Kobe doesn't press charges, anyone else he pisses off. Well, no, he can just then come up free shine, you know? So he kind of has to do that. And the thing about Colby is, look, Kobe is a great fighter, but he's an athlete first. He was a two time all American wrestler, Oregon. He's a tough guy, he's a great athlete. Jorge Masvidal, I believe is a fighter first. He grew up fighting in the streets in Kimbo Slice his backyard. It's not, I don't think Kobe's going around wanting to fight people on the streets. I'm sure he's gotten into plenty of scraps in his life. But he doesn't go out looking for fights. Not that mask would all does, but it's just different. And I don't understand what Masvidal was thinking. Nor does he care, because now I think the UFC might cut him. He might lose sponsors. Let's go find somebody. Maybe, I mean, the UFC does not look. In the last month, the UFC has had Cain Velasquez shoot somebody, right? The wrong person. I mean, he was justified. He was justified. Justify, but it's not great for us with UFC because all you see is UFC fighter shoot somebody, right? Then you had John Jones who was their champ. You know, getting arrested headbutting police cars. And crying, then you have Chael Sonnen beating up 6 people at a hotel room. One of them was a female. I heard Chelsea version of it. It's the whole thing sounds insane. I hope you guys can get in trouble. I love chair, but that's awesome. Hey, hey. What difference does it make it a female involved? Or is she get the fuck out of the way back up to with that homo swimmer? It proves there's no difference between male and female, especially when this Jackson broad can't give a difference to woman or female, and also they're so different. All right, that is the Don fry opinion on the podcast. That is the Don fry opinion. But the point is, is that not a good look. Then Conor McGregor also got his car taken away for dangerous driving. I don't even know what that even means in Ireland. So now you've got and now you have Colby Covington punching people at restaurants. This is not been a good month PR watch. I mean, not Colby. You have mastered all punching COVID. Right. Not a good look for the UFC. I had heard there was Connor's car head butted John Jones first, though. So that's.

"But you made us better. Really? And I'm not afraid to put my pride aside a little bit. You know? And you did. You made our show better. And when I wasn't suggesting a little bit at the beginning, say, finally, for audience, we have to write guys to break down and MMA fighter. You have seen fight. I wasn't suggesting, really. I was telling the truth. You made our show so good. You did a incredible job, bringing light to the fight and bringing not only to the fight Saturday night between Masvidal and Covington, but to the sport. In general, and to a lot of topics in the sport, I think you're going to laugh. This episode should get a million. And deserves a million because of you guys. That's how informative you are. That's how brand you are. That's how artists you are. That's just how damn good you want. And I hope it does, because it deserves it because of you guys. And I'm going to blow the cover a little bit on shell. The way he did on Covington a little bit, he's not a bad guy. He's a hell of a special guy. And add to these as good as you think that he is, he's even better as a human being. They both are. And I said it to you in person, I'll say it here, that your real call value, your real core strength, both of you. I know how great you are. MMA, UFC fighters, and you both great. But your real greatness is as human beings as people, that's your cause strength. You guys have character. We talk about that word. Sometimes we overuse that word. Sometimes we don't even understand what the word means, but I understand what it means. And I'm looking at two people who exemplify what it means. Thank you guys for the bottom my heart. And I'm going to go out one last little bit. Thank you from our audience, because I know that our audience is going to say the same thing. That was beautiful. Thank you very much, teddy. Please have us back and hello to that audience. Thanks guys. Yeah, thanks a lot, teddy. I appreciate it. I'm glad that we got to do this. Finally, we've been talking about doing one. So I appreciate you, man. And yeah, hello to your audience as well. Hopefully see you guys again soon. Thank you. Thank you, fellas. Where you going to start two weeks. So I need to stand up to the sun cooler coming.

"That he's a fantastic grappler that he's a fantastic wrestler. We've seen him in there with Jack Hermanson and in our wrestle a larger, supposed to have been a larger guy and of not being in the wrestling match, but I think that his grappling in that fear of the grappling and wrestling is very similar to the Colby Covington Jorge Masvidal situation, does open up a striking. I can promise you this Gilbert burns does not give one shit about my grappling because he's gonna be right there with him the entire time. So if he can beat a guy like that, I think a Colby Covington fight is right there for him. But I think we can't put the car before the horse here. I think he's got to get through a guy like Gilbert burns first. And there's a fear in the unknown. And the mystery here does lie, which email. We don't actually know. How is he going to do with adversity? Well, probably pretty well, but we've seen how Colby does with it. How is jamiah going to do in championship rounds, four and 5? Probably pretty good, but we know how Colby's gonna do with it. So I do think at a full respect, we do have to say that Covington is still the guy to beat. If you just look at styles and match ups, we've seen so little of chimaev, we know he's got a good double-A, but we know Colby's never been taken down in a double leg. So it does tend to kind of equal themselves out and I'm not really to give anybody that's only had two matches against unreal components, the nod over the troop number one contender, but it all fairness, that's probably the match. And Kamaru Usman wait on that about two hours ago. Dana White had made a comment that chemia versus burns will be a number one contendership. Then the champ spoke up and he said, not so fast. This guy's got my attention when I got to deal with them. I'll be ready for him. However, I need to see him beat two guys that are ranked within the top ten. That's fair. And if that does hold up and gets the bump on Gilbert, which he's favored to do, I think that does make the Covington chimayo match all that more likely and possibly only Colby's only route back to a Kamaru Usman championship fight. Let me throw this in there because we're talking about the right guy. We're talking about the top guys we're talking about. The guys don't want to talk about Covington. All right, but let me ask about Masvidal. 37 years old made a lot of money in the last couple of years. You know, you had that first flight rules, but we had data white over barrel a little bit where the opponent fell out because of COVID at the last minute. They needed a big name. He was able to get a pretty damn good number from what we want to understand. Rightfully so, you guys should make all the money in the world. When you guys get in the ring and it's a chance you don't come out of that octagon. Definitely the same as your wedding. So you can't get enough money. That's just the way I feel. And I feel the same way my sports about the boxes. But here he is, Masvidal. He's lost two fights in a row. Convincingly is 37 years old. He's made a lot of money, where does he go from here? And before I leave it to start with you, chill. I do it and if tell me what more, I thought that there was a lot of guys he could still beat that, you know, he was good enough, but there's certain guys he probably can. But there's a lot of good fights out or fights out there that he can still win. I didn't feel like it's the end of the line. Off the cliff, that's it. I didn't feel that way. I just felt that he was in there with a guy who's special. You'll fields. One of the greatest things that Dana White has ever done. And I've never heard him get credit for it. We'll give it to him now. But one of the great things that he ever did is within our sport, he made losing acceptable. In the sport of boxing, if you lose a fight, you're not going to be a man of end. If you lose, you'll never fight for a championship if you lose 5 fights. You are a bum, and that is how they'll remember you. In this sport, the one thing that Colby and Masvidal had in front of their sold out main event spot of T mobile arena. They both were coming off losses. In all fairness, the biggest star on our sports Conor McGregor, I've lost track of how many losses he's had in a row. The second is George manswell. He's lost three in a row and the third is Nate Diaz, who's batting 500 in all fairness and MMA for whatever reason, but it's a very good thing when iron is on iron when we know guys are risking it and guys are only taking on the best. It's okay if they come in second and I really think as far as Mazda all goes, be in the sports second biggest draw to put them in there with Conor McGregor, who's the sports biggest draw makes all the sense in the world. I even think I've got the weekend. Let's do it in July and international fight week. I love that. Wow. Wow. I'm real close. Maybe you insert a Nate Diaz in there, but I think we're down to those file three who's going to headline that show. I think it's got great options. And don't forget with this new lucrative contract. All that contract and all that money means is he will be returning to a main event, which means he needs to get himself in 5 round shape and he can start right now. And I think he needs to get himself into a little bit of controversy. That's kind of the weird spot that Masvidal is in. He can still beat a lot of guys in the division. He absolutely can, but it's got a matter for the paycheck that he's getting, the UFC does not, they're not just going to stick him in the queue and start fighting people that nobody knows. It's going to be big names. They're going to be tough fights. And I'm going to steal one of chills ideas from the weekend. I like him in there with the Diaz brother, but I think Nick Diaz is probably the bigger draw right now. I don't necessarily know if that's the route that anybody's going to go. But that's got a built in storyline. If I build itself, he already beat Nick's little brother, you know Masvidal is going to rub that in his face as many times as he possibly can. I would have never thought about that, chill brought it up over the weekend. I thought it was a fantastic idea, but those are the kind of storylines and fights that mask but I was going to have to be in because he's got to justify that big paycheck he's getting. You think that they'll put Nick in. I thought that Nick and his last fight looked like he couldn't care less like he didn't want to be there. I was shocked at the performance. And even worse than that, is the reason Nick looked that way is because he had a long layoff. So our prediction, Anthony and I were both at agreement here that Nick's gonna get a quick turnaround. It's been the opposite. Nick has been radio silent. Dana weighed in at one time was about two months ago in Dana said, and I quote, I don't know if Nick Diaz is ever gonna fight again. Generally, if you're Nick or you're Nick's manager or trainer, you come out and you stop that narrative, you say yes, we are. But Nick lived with it. He went very quiet, so I do think that's a tough one. I think that's a massive fight. I think it makes sense. And I think the fans were would get behind it. I don't know that I'm bullish that it's going to happen. And Mazda isn't a very unique spot. And it's only Mazda and Connor and Nate Diaz that live in this little island that does not matter who they fight next. In boxing they say, the only two guys that could draw on their own was Mike Tyson and Oscar De La Hoya. I think you need to amend that list and add Floyd Mayweather to it. But in all fairness, in our sports pretty much the same unless you're caught unless you're Mazda unless you're Nate Diaz. It turns out they're all in the same weight class. Let's start getting those matchups going and start having a lot of fun over here in the world of MMA. I think they're going to make Nate and Connor on Nate and Dustin. I'm here in that room. That could be. Let me just go off track a little bit here. Maybe it's more than a little bit. I don't know. What do you think about in Ghana and fury? And before I let you go, chill,.

"The outside and control things on the outside and not walk into what you would have to do to get hit with a right hook to get killers and walk into it. So I'm going to say that that's a plus. That's a plus for Masvidal. And again, that's one of the reasons why I'm picking them. Yep. All right, guys. Well, one of the things that we always hear back from the fans is that we didn't cover enough. We missed some topics. You know, we only have a couple hours here, but we're going to start a new segment. We're exploring some experimenting with some new names. Maybe jabs with teddy or flurries. We're going to do a couple three more. Quick hits. Quick hits, whatever. Kind of gets very reminiscent of and I'm not afraid to say when I'm taking someone else all played off with someone's idea. I think that's the gentleman gentlemanly thing to do. You know, you got the great Tony colonizer and Mike will pond with that great show, partly interruption. They do something on a clock similar to this. And we're going to, we're going to give it a spin. I'm going to start, I think rob's going to try to get it up on the screen and there it is. We're going to have three minutes per topic teddy. I'm going to hit you with some random topics here and then you'll tell me what you think and when rob's hit start, I'll ask the question. All right, baby. How long do I have? You're going to have three minutes. Just like around. Just like around the box. Okay. All right, hit it, rob. All right, first topic, Islam market share gets a big win over Bobby green, how'd you like it, would you think? Heir apparent to Habib. Habib. He's unbelievable. Unbelievable, they come from that region of the world they're warriors. They're mentality. They're straight to physical and their expertise on the mat is second to none. The guy, the guy is like a steel trap. When you get in, you don't know it until you know it. When you get in that octagon and they shut that door, you ain't getting out. You ain't getting out. You're in a trap. You're in a trap. The guy's demeanor, his physicality and his and his technique. Make him the heir apparent to the great Khabib. What do you say to the fans who say he hasn't done enough to deserve a title shot? He's beat everyone convincingly, but not enough guys in the top ten. They say to deserve a title shot. Why don't you guys get in with him? See what you're saying then. Or pick your favorite guy and put them in there with them. I'll put them up against anybody right now just about. All right, next topic. Hector Garcia stuns Chris Colbert and gets the win, what did you think of Chris Colbert? He's been talking a lot and shako Stevenson and Errol Spence weighed in saying the guy shouldn't talk so much. He has no dog in him. He was just surviving and never trying to win after he got hurt early. If you're gonna wear blue hay, you gotta do better than that. I think that's a good start right there. If you're gonna put he had blue hair and everything else customized that he was where you got to put it than that. It's not just about how you fight. It's how you behave. And when the moment came, the behavior was in what you want to see in a so called great prospect next champion and the commentators over there. I heard them saying for a year now that he's the brightest star coming. The brightest, the best, the most. He didn't look like that. I start to wonder about their judgment, a little bit now when I say that, to be quite Frank. But again, give another chance he's going to get another chance. He is. He's young. But the way he behaved. It wasn't just a way for it. And one other thing, truth. True to this important truth counts, honestly counts. Tell the truth in his corner. He's got a trainer there. That's telling him I have to think it was the third round. Hey, this guy's starting to punk up already. Punk up. Where did you see punk up? Anywhere and Garcia. And I'd like to know, maybe I can learn something. Where the hell did you see that? And he said, he started punk up. You got to take him out soon. You're going to get rid of this guy. Well, you know what? You don't lie to your fighter. If you're a trainer, it's like a parent. You lie to your kids, you got problems. You lie to you, fighting, you got problems. You tell them the truth. I know everyone wants to be friends nowadays. Oh, I want to be friends. So you stay with them and you know, and this way they don't get mad at you. And everyone, no, you want to be a friend, tell them the truth. That's a friend. That's your friend, as a parent. You're going to be buddies. Yeah, you won't be Friends with you. Tell them the truth. That's the best friend of the world. He was not told the truth. Did Colbert look bad or did Hector Garcia just too much for him? No, Godzilla was a hell of a fighter. I mean, this guy was an Olympian..

"Who was he going to be, was he going to be the guy that was laid out on the floor? Was he going to be somebody else? And that is powerful. That shows up in a ring. It shows up and it fights with you. It helps you. Partners up with you. It's there. It has a say before the night's over. I think it's going to have a say. For miles for door before the night's over. With everything going against him and I'm ready to accept it. I get it. I'm reasonable sometimes. But I think at the end of the day, Mars for those going to strum up everything that he has, and any other had when he was fighting in those back door, those backyard fights, you know, when he was first discovered, with jumbo slice, what was his name? Kimbo Slice. Kimbo Slice, you know? God versus soul. He passed away, but he was a legendary guy. He was, you know, he was a pioneer of that stuff. And he was, they were doing it on a YouTube and that's where miles were all comes from. That's rugged stuff. They're all come from rugged stuff. That drug good stuff. And I think he's going to muster everything he can. Every freaking thing he can, you know? He's going to, he's going to call on a cavalry. You know, of every ounce of pride, everything that's left in him. And he's going to come out and he's going to fight a really, really, which is going to have to. A very disciplined strategic but hard to determine concentrated laser like focused fight, way he's going to use his legs. He's going to keep separation. He's going to look to set up right hands. He's going to look to escape, you know, from the shoots. And I think he's kind of got a good shot. And I love Baltimore. I think he's got a good shot. But again, he can't be on the front. You got to pick somebody. Or you could be on the fence. But we don't do that here. We don't do that here. For the guys at my bookie, check them out at my bookie dot AG. We got Masvidal plus two 50 Covington minus three 20. Given the line and everything you just said, what are you doing? I'm taking a talk. I'm taking the dog and I think he's going to even if he doesn't win. I'm taking them for the right reason because I think that he's got the right reason. To show up and perform as great as good as he can at this point in his life. It's a good enough. I'm not sure. But I got to be sure one thing. It's kind of like in the old days when we used to get tips from on horses. And. That's why I still have a mortgage. But that's okay. Tips didn't always go that well. But no, but you know, we went out there with okay, we got the bay. You know what I mean? We're driving out there in a clunk of a Dodge with one door falling off, but driving home in a Cadillac. You know? You know, because you're all excited and everything. And then, of course, you're holding that door of the Dodge close, so it doesn't open up on the turnpike, right? So it's okay. But what the tips will all about, really, in all kidney site, if there wasn't a fix in, that was speaking about boxing. You mean the only tip that's worth anything. This is a tip. This is, you know, this is your opinion. Well, you know the other horses have bad legs. Yeah, that's pretty much it. But no, the one, the only legitimacy to so called tip was that the owner was going all out, that they were going on because sometimes they use races as get ready for the next. And so that was the really the only legitimacy. And anything that was valid for tep was trying to win. Wow, wow, we're giving our best effort. We're not going out there for a workout. And that's kind of what I'm saying here. I feel a 100% sure win or lose that he's going to be as good as he can be. At this point in his life. And it's going to be that urgent to him. That urgent attempt. And that he's a smart guy he's not a dumb guy. He's a creative guy. I think he's going to be creative. He's going to need some flying knees. He's going to need that right hand. He's going to need the legs. He's going to think I said. He's going to need the defense from the shoots, but I think he's going to have that in place. And that's all I can ask for. And taking a dog is that I believe that he will be mentally and physically at his utmost. And that's why I could ask for. And I don't know over under four and a half minus one 40 on the over plus one ten on the under. Oh, I'm going to go. I'm taking it over. I mean, again, you could be wrong. You could be wrong. But especially in this explosive business, you know, there were four out freaking clubs. Come on. I mean, come on. They're hidden with elbows. Come on. They didn't with knees. Come on. I mean, yeah, it could definitely be on the, but I'm going with the over. I'm going with the technique of this fight that it's going to have to be paid attention to by both guys, especially Mars fedor. Because Covington can't get sloppy coming in at a be aggressive either. You know, he's got to be steady. He's got to be under control behind the jab. If he gets killed, he could get dropped with a straight right hand. He's been hit with a lot of money. And I'll tell you one other part to the analysis of this that I don't think anyone's going to touch on this really. I well, now they might because there's a lot of people to listen to yourself. As proven in his last fight, he got knocked out cold with the right hand straight right hand by the great usman. But there was a reason for it. He led, we'll have to confront. And you never should do that. And he got him, nobody pointed this out. And he got hit with a straight right hand. Okay. Now, so he gets over right still, but here's the thing. The right hand is not going to be a danger point for him and his fight. And people are going to say, what do you mean, teddy? What are you talking about? He's fighting a guy with two ants. He's fighting a southpaw. The straight right hand is the danger to the door. When he leads with someone fun, with a straight right hand, come down the middle and beats it. He doesn't have to worry about that weapon about that danger about that punch. There's no straight rights coming out of him Saturday night. Only right hooks. And that's different. That's different. The way you're going to get caught with dad is if you're over aggressive and you get caught maybe on a back end with a counter and I don't and again, if Masvidal is going to have a chance to win this fight, he can't be over Godzilla..

"The UFC puts on a lot. And they put one on that night. It was all great fights and drama. And that's why they do so good. In the world, if you will. But and come from where they've come from to really pass boxing when it comes to the ratings on regular shows, regular shows. That when you're putting on, you know, if you put Joshua with fury, of course, that's a different ball game or Canelo with the right guy. That's a different universe. But on the whole, they got a pay per view with their fights. I mean, they're doing better than boxing. I mean, they'll pay per view as much better. Much higher numbers. But to get to the fight again, that's what Covington's going to look to do, I believe, and needs to do, and he needs to avoid some of those finance because that's my fault tools must must for those chance to land a good straight right hand. He's a good striker. He's creative. He's got pretty good legs. He's 30, 7 years old. I know, but it's going to need those legs. He's going to need to keep range. He's going to need to keep distance separation, and he's going to need to make Covington pay a price for real estate. You know, charge him a couple right hands for every foot that he tries to gain in that octagon, coming forward. Charge them for real estate, not money, but punches. He's going to need the right hand is going to need to jab to keep the right hand at the keep the range to set up that right hand. He's going to need that jab to keep that range, he's going to need a little recklessness from Covington coming in. And again, he's going to need to do what people do against southpaws. Use that's how popular the right hand. And Covington, as I just said, he gets civil right hand. So he's going to need to do that, keep separation, have capability when it comes to the deschutes where Covington will try to get him to the mat. If he can do that, it's going to be a hell of a fight, a very interesting fight. I don't think he wants a slugfest. Covington is dealing with a slugfest. I think Mars would do wants to be able to get more of a boxing match. In the way that he can. I mean, he'll do what he has to do to all tough guys. But I think he needs more of that. Now here's The X Factor. Here's the intangible. The mental side. Who's better? Well, Covington is coming off a really good fight going to distance with all his money. He got stopped the first time late in the fight, got a broken shot. Came off going the distance. And the first fight some people thought he was winning a fight or possibly winning a fight. So he's come off some that's got to make him feel damn good mentally. And of course most of all is coming from the worst place, getting knocked out cold in the second round of one clean right hand. In that fight and he's got to get rid of the bats in the belfry, the ghosts in the attic from that fight. That's what he's going to do. That's part of it. The mental part is a big part of it. Where will he be? Now, most people are going to say, you got to favor Covington. I don't blame them. I don't disagree. And what about the hunger factor? Who's hungry? Made a lot of money the last couple of years. You know, he had Dana White over barrel in that first husband fight with somebody dropped out and it was a big fight. They needed a big name and he was able to get the money that he probably would have gotten if he didn't have them in that kind of pickle. So he's made a lot of money. So you would think Covington, this is Covington's chance to go to the dance. You know, to step to that kind of that kind of zip code that area called kind of like the jeffersons. I love to Jefferson. Remember that years ago that, you know, moving on up. Moving on up to the side. To the east side. I like that. So he's got a chance to move on up to the east side. With the money. And so you would think all that favors him. I got it. I got you. I got you. But there's something on Mars for doing side. It's pride. They all have pride. But it's legacy. It's saving it's saving your legacy. It's called redemption. That's what it's called. Where he got knocked out, and he doesn't want to leave that there. He doesn't want to leave that there. And he wants to revive what people think of him, his image, his brand, but him, forget brand because that implies money. It's steeper than that. It's kind of like when I talked about when I broke down the fight with fury and wada. And I gave wato good chance that I was right. He came so close. And the reason I gave him a good chance, even though he don't fight nearly as good as fury, as because it was about redemption, it was about him as a man as a person. Who he was going to be and who he's going to be reminded. Who he was going to be remembered as. When he walked down the street and people saw, and when he looked in the.

"Ten free travel packs with your athletic greens, first order. All right, let's get into this UFC match. What do you look for with Colby Covington for us, our friend Jorge Masvidal, friend of the show? I'm going to be out there covering her for ESPN. So jealous. So I'm going to be out there. I'm going to cover the ESPN, you figure it out. 50 years in a boxing game, they send me out to UFC fights. I don't know. I mean, but I'm glad because I think the promoter of UFC actually likes you though. I don't know about the box. Something strange going on there. But it gives you that spot, not the other. You could be on to something Sherlock. Captain obvious. But anyway, now listen, I love, hey, I love the sport now. I love the fighters in the UFC just like I love to fight as a boxing. And I'm on it. I'm honored. I'm privileged that they want me out there to talk a little bit and I'm going to be with Chelsea and one of the greats in the business and with all the bad guy. I'd probably want to one of the great producers directors in the business in boxing and MMA. So I'm going to be really, I'm just privileged. I'm going to go people. And it's going to be a great fight. It's supposed to be a great fight. It should be a great fight. A lot of interest, you know, Covington draws people. He's like Muhammad Ali. He goes by the Muhammad Ali. And philosophy of people are going to come together going to hate me or they're going to love me, but they're going to come and buy a ticket, you know? And he knows how to get that storm going. And they got a storm gone between him and Masvidal who used to be teammates. But teammates, they were like best Friends. Yeah. Best Friends. Exactly. So Covington and the analysis that obvious I'm not telling you anything that everyone doesn't know. He's the better wrestler that he was a tremendous collegiate wrestling champion division one he's the guy that his partners game plan is going to be put on precious steady pressure. I think he needs to do it not reckless pressure. Steady pressure behind the jab and then get takedowns when he can. Get to shoots, get takedown. Now the one thing that's opposing of Masvidal can't match him for, you know, his proudness on the mat, but he's very good at defending takedowns very good. He showed that with oseman too in the first fight when he was in the top shape. So he's good at inescapability. You know, kind of like Kyle Murray, the great quarterback of that. Arizona called John Elway years ago. They know how to escape to sack. He's good at that. He's going to have to be good at that. He's going to come in with steady pressure, I believe. Covington looked to get takedowns if he can get in the geography once. That suits him for his skills. And he's a guy with a, you know, he's a guy with a motor that doesn't stop. You know, he's got that cardiovascular. You know, kind of like Neil Armstrong had it in, you know, you know about that better than I do in cycling. He had that extra lung. Now I know people are going to say, oh yeah, teddy did steroids. But before that, let's put that aside. Tell me if I'm right or wrong, Ken. He had that extra lung. He had that capacity to really, really go up the mountains, probably better than most, or maybe anybody. He had that. He had a super high VO2 max. One of the highest ever measured and that's the real measure of an endurance athlete is the VO2 max. How much oxygen I think that's how much oxygen they get in each breath maybe in the blood, but it has to do with it has to do with work capacity and like Nordic Nordic skiers, cross country skiers have historically have the highest and then cyclists. But yeah, Lance, when they measured him at the Olympic training center in his early days, they were like, they knew right away that he was one, 'cause it's like a metric that you can point to and say, if this guy stays with that, this is an elite elite athlete. And I'm sorry. I'm sorry for calling him a S tonight. I meant lancer. I mean, I know people say he's in space. And I'm sorry. He's not now to space. He's here. And I guess he's still right so by going to spare time. But he's a venture capitalist now. Sports health and wellness. Well, there it is. Make a lot of money still as he did before. But I would, I would say, tell me if this is fair can. I would say Covington's in that in that company of cardiovascular advantage capacity. That he clearly has a high work rate. So as fine tuned as a cardio cardiovascularly as an athlete can be, I think, in the cage. Yeah, so that's what I think. So I think that he's going to look to grind. He's going to look to put the study pressure, try to wear them as much for those are big on the dog. What is it? They don't want to. I know, I know you look at it while I'm talking but I know he's a big underdog. And I got the line right now as mazar I plus two 50 Covington is minus three 20. Yeah, so I was right there. I would say three to one. So at the end of the day, they're both going to try to play into their strengths. As I said, Covington get to take down, you know, don't get careless, try not to get hit too much. One of the things we're Covington and southpaw. He gets hit a lot of right hands. And he got hit, he got a broken joiner person who's been fighting. He got hit a lot. But to his credit, you know, he was still there going to distance against usman in Madison Square Garden in a remarkable fight of remarkable night, a remarkable cod that the UFC puts on a lot. And they put one on that night. It was all great fights and drama. And that's why they do so good..

"I don't mean to laugh, but I'm speaking of real stuff here. James Tony decision over the challenger, David tiberi. Here it is. There it is. And senator William Roth Republican from Delaware to crying and outrageous miscarriage of justice. It's time for the powers to be in professional boxing. It's a time that the powers that be in professional boxing learn about fighting fairly. And said he's going to take it to this. Oh, he said, that's a speech he gave on the Senate floor. Yeah. Yeah, there it is. Bring out the guillotine. Bring it out. I mean, you know, but meanwhile, here we are. Here we are. And here we are. Just run it again. Run it again. The same thing. I've been screaming about this. I guess Taylor was just barely made the weight and after the fight obviously. But he looks so strong. He looks so strong. And so much stronger can than the other guy. And that was a curse fam, because that's all he wanted to be. He just want to be stronger. He didn't, he didn't look to be better. He just looked to be stronger. Yeah. Interesting though to see the first, I think that was the first fight with Davison, but there were a lot of people pointing out that Ben Davis and hadn't looked good with his fight as recent fights with Billy Joe Saunders with Tyson Fury, that a number. Listen, I didn't come here to knock him. But you're right, no, you should do what you're doing. You're my partner. You're supposed to breathe. You're doing that part of the show with me. To bring this up so we can have interaction about this. What I am saying is he seems like a jelly to more than he does a strategist or a technician. You know, a guy that opens up the hood to the car and changes the spot plugs. And gets the soldiers running the right way. He doesn't seem to be capable of that. Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe I won't, but I can only go by what I see and have seen. I haven't seen a huge body of work at his, but what I've seen, that's a little bit of what I feel. Yeah. It'll be interesting to see what's next for both of those guys. Let's talk about the upcoming UFC main event Covington versus Masvidal. But before we do, one thing that Josh Taylor probably could have done to help make weight is to make sure he was taking his athletic greens. One of our favorite sponsors teddy, I know you love this stuff. It tastes great. I take it every morning, one scoop to keep you on track. Got multiple servings of fruits and vegetables in here. These guys spend about ten years with top nutritionists getting this formula dialed in. They've got a rebranded green bag at this stuff is awesome, but travel with it everywhere I go. I know I sound like a broken record every week when I talk about them, but I love this stuff. How have you been doing? You've been taking it? Yeah, listen. It's really good solid stuff. It's kind of like being a trainer, would you talk about as a trainer of your real trainer? You talk about having a foundation. You know, having a balance, having your legs and right position. You can't do anything without a good foundation. You could have to fast answer the world to most power in the world upstairs, but you're not going to be able to use what you have upstairs unless downstairs is right. And this takes care of downstairs. Yes. It takes care of the foundation that you have what you need. You have the food, proper food, the proper nutrition, and you early in the day that you need to go through your freaking day. That's what it is. And I'll finish with this. My own little touch, although that was my touch. But that tell I had it, he could have maybe would have been a little bit, he's still a still would have smothered himself, you know? He still would have overshot his punishment because he wasn't taught that. You got to be taught that. But he would.

"Biggest jail of all. But aren't you not you got it the Princeton after having a I'm not stupid. No, but I thought like if you get arrested like looks better in a record, there's things like when I sold a car that they took it off my record because I knew the family of the car that took it from. They didn't press charges. So stuff like that doesn't like to stay on the record. Wow, damn. I had no idea. You were such a criminal. That's crazy. Good old days. All right. Well, speaking of crazy things. So it got announced yesterday that Jorge Masvidal is fighting Colby Covington. I love that. That's going to be a great fight. You know, it's funny. It's like you always like it's like these guys make the top, right? And then it just seems like it's such a hard fall. Like Tyron Woodley, remember when he knocked out, I remember when he knocked out Robbie Lawler because I had money on that. And then he was like, he was a champ. He was the and then since then, it just was like down, down. I mean, to the point where he got knocked out by Jake Paul on TV. It's just crazy, right? Well, I guess it's not getting there, staying there. That's the hardest part. Wait, what did you get there to the top, right? What's that? The motivation can go away. What you got to the top, right? Yeah, right. And people say, you know, it's like Sinbad said you're the funniest when you're riding the bus. But Masvidal, I almost put them on that same category of like when he knocked out Ben Askren in 6 seconds. He was the biggest star MMA. I mean, aside from, let's see, McGregor, but it was not only going to be Ben Askren, he beat him in 6 seconds. But since and then he beat Nate Diaz. But since then, he's lost to usman twice. And I mean, there's no shame in that. But he's looked..

"And now he's an MMA masters. And the reason that most of all got knocked out by usman is because they told him to keep his hands low to protect them from usman's wrestling. And that's why he kept getting clipped. We're now he keeps his hands high because he has a better striking coach. You think the truth of that? I'm out in the room with him and I mean, really, you know, mosquitos are pretty accomplished strikers. So I think he would kind of know what he's doing in general, but it seems like some shit you just made up on the fly right now. That's what he told me. He also said that Masvidal hates him because they used to take two girls back and then basketball would finish early and Colby would keep going at Maslow but get jealous of his cardio and it came to fucking. And that's why they hate each other..

"Packs today. Aw yes yes. Yawn blow hobich. Got one right. He was doing some meat. And this isn't backhanded. This is straightforward compliment to the champ. It's doing some media. The media member asked him about john. Jones yawn responded. You just reminded me about john jones. Not you remind me of john jones. You reminded me about meaning. I forgot about it. I didn't think about john jones until you brought him up but it was also the right answer whether it was candid or whether it was canned to make a difference. That was the answer now. Windblown hobart says this even if there's some tongue in cheek that still the answer. I give john a hard time over here jones by the way. I'm clearly got some level of fan in me. Because i want him to respond by coming out and fighting so i wanna see john again so i can. There's there's some fan in this right but there's some lessons to. There's some real lessons when a guy is removed for a period of time. You very much have to tell people who he is. You have to remind people why they cared in the first place but with the fighter always misses what john's missing right now but all the guys before did it as well is how fast sport grows. There is a new fan base here from the last time. John fought john dominic reyes to now. There's an assertion of new. I could not begin to guess. In a percentage how many that is is not ten percent. But even if it's two and a half percent you're talking about mass quantities of fans who simply don't know who that human is they just simply don't know he gets feel follow track and field by the way you know all about track and field. You enjoyed it in the olympics a month ago do you know who carl lewis says. And i realize a lot of hands went up. Karla was simply the greatest track athlete to ever grace. This earth and a lot of hands. Dinner just go. You don't know who he is do long ago now. I'm going back. A couple of decades. Very different comparison in terms of the percentage and of the number that when it no some of them for carlos born even born. You understand that you understand why somebody wouldn't it. No but john is to win a decree and again it could be as low as two and a half to three percent but there's still openly people that just don't know who is just don't wanna see him you're going to have people that know exactly who he is but they don't wanna see him you're then going to have people who have missed him so much and they clamor and they want to come out now. What's the difference if john comes back in this thing knocks it out of the park upon his return regardless of the opponent is if it does create and john subscribes draws from one of the three ponds that i just laid out for you. I don't know who you are. I do know who you are reminded me. why care. i know exactly who you are. And i'm glad you're back. Those are the three ponds. Which one does the pull get thrown in. It's not a mystery and it's not on accident. John is not going to be able to tell that story. he's not going to be able to promote it. John within his means and mechanisms to tell a story and promote is doing it now right now and he's got some pretty good numbers on social media very different than if dana white comes out and tells the story. So that's what you need when you make your comeback. If you want to know which poll of those three ponds you're going to be fishing from and those are your only choices that's where it is. You need somebody to come out and tell your story. That's what a great promoter does but this is also where the side of it. Where if you think that you're holding the cards. Just by example think there was a period of time where john thought that and i think maybe even john had reason to believe that if the fight we're trying to make involves him and that was the key whereas john and francis but francis is in the business right faster just simply has other business signed committed fight so that's not the direction you're going in and that was the piece of leverage that you were holding to it's one of these spots of look when you come back and you're for sure coming back and take john and his word jonah said is but you'll say yeah i'm coming back is what i do. Get some things worked out and wants to get some things changed. He's been very candid. Man i could be annoyed by john. I can't say at least in this regard. The john's done anything underhanded. He's told everybody that will listen. He's told the same story from the beginning. Fine fine but win that return. Combs fighter makes believe that he is doing it or the simple announcement that he's coming back that that's enough that we will take it from here stand back and we'll take it from here. That's a degree in all fairness a fight announcement with the media will do with it particularly in today's world with your facebook's and your instagram's and your youtube and twitter's and whatnot tech talk by the way one for me to talk you guys. I just found out about time sharing with you. The world is different and that is a degree and you can get a message out there to a degree which is still under the promoter to make the decision the placement on the card the jurisdiction. This is gonna happen to come out and tell the story to light a fire. Bind it to win. He has his meeting with executives including that of the marketing department to loosen up the purse-strings a little bit get the billboards now. Get the show's flowing. You need help like that. Some of that is good straight business other parts of that. You gotta lean on some favors. You've gotta convince them. You gotta tell your story so market has use it. By example wonder market. I wanted a little bit bigger. Push but i had to convince some people. I had to convince dana. Here's the story. Here's why this is gonna work. Here's why this matters to me. Get behind him. He's one of those things.

"With your image and likeness brand. New rule. Just kicked into the wwe stepped up. Came to gable. So we're going to follow all the rules all the protocols. Here's what we're gonna do. Wwe or any other organization could come in and come to terms with gable. They could even sign him since he is an adult. Just not start it and just not pay him. They could do that but tell man things as good as gold. Wait till you get don boom. You're an instant millionaire and that happened with kyle snyder. By example kyle had won. The olympics comes with a quarter million dollar prize. National team member comes with the payment every single month every month payment times twelve times years. He had shoe spot. He had they stuck in a county. Couldn't get it an nc double athletes so this is a very real thing. They could have done that because the way this new policy within the aa works they say look go get your degree man. We care about you as a human go. Do that. finish what you started. The olympics has already here. Your red hot as hot as you'll be you won't be any harder hotter. That's okay it's worth it to us. Cool move by the. Wwe they do. Hey guys triple h steph good job. That was cool. You looked out for a guy. I'm sure there's a self serving measure but you also look for gable. That was cool. So that's what gables going to do. He's going to become an entertainer. He's currently a worker. He's going to become educated. He's curly smart. He's got a lot going for him he's going to have even more. That's the story. I think it's the right one. I'm happy i'm glad he's returning them get is going to get the degree but now we know the direction gable stevenson gable stevenson is a star in the making because he's talking a lot and is taking real action. Look unlike john jones who most of you have probably forgotten about at this point..

"I got food here. I need you to put those videos. String them together and tell my story. Please check in with us. Thank you steffan trail all right. Thanks to stephan for joint. Thanks to you guys for entertaining me on that one now. Let's talk about the breaking news of the day. That involves a guy who we might be talking about in a couple of years gable and wants to be an entertainer. He's not he's not what he wants to be. He's very smart. He's not educated. He will young man finishing up. He is a worker. He's a worker now. Gable will be an entertainer. He will get to where he wants to go. This is a guy who has thrown an air ball in life yet. He has succeeded at everything he set out to do. He will at this too. When i say he's not an entertainer. He's a worker. The worker is harder to get to them the entertain the entertainers the easy one. He just needs a camera. He just needs to adapt a couple of things. He needs to get the stick and the gimmick z. Which direction he's gonna go. He's gonna hit it out of the park. It's not there yet. When i say as a worker we have speculated and we wondered what gable stevenson is going to do. I know him personally. I've talked to him privately. He has never broken character. He has stuck to it knowing he's talking to a fellow worker which means he knows that i know what he's doing he doesn't anyway. Which is i'm not going to tell you. Why am i not going to tell you. Because you're speculating about it. And people are talking about. And as soon as i tell them they have nothing less than speculate about and i fear that they're going to quit talking he's right of course he's right but for a twenty one year old. Who's yet to break into the business to know that even an introductory thing like i said right there for him to know that. Show me another twenty one year old trying break into the business. That knew that and he played this. He played it on a fall on media tour. There was reports that he was going to go to the vikings to visit with them to have some talks. I don't know if that happened. I can't confirm it. He of course has the option to finish at minnesota. I personally hoped he would do that. It's much as i do want to see him in the ncwa. I had another reason. I i wanted to get disagree. I know he's a year away two semesters four terms if that's how they do it out there with the gophers. I wanted to get that and wrestling still going to be their professional wrestling. He was time going. Wwe i think if you can make a life as an entertainer and you've already fulfilled your competitive goals. That's the way you go. I think right put myself in someone. She's i think. I don't think he has to prove himself. I don't think he needs the grind. I think this would also open up new curiosities new interest getting away from the competitive film. Get into the entertainment. And i think i look at him. Look at how many boxes he checks. Command. you're going to be something really special. Go all right. But i also saw him at the pf l. he was at the l. Didn't an interview live on tv. He would not tell us what he was going to do. Allegedly there was talks. And i know scott coker even made this public with some back and forth through social media with gable and coker interest in respect of gable dana white did the same thing so gable around and he got to have some real funny got some speculation. Now we very proud of gable. Not just his family stan. We're pride goes but as a community where you're looking for someone you could have kids look up to boom. You just found him and he got tested here. He was tested. He could have gone to the vikings. I don't know if he had a meeting he could've gone he could have gone to the ufc pieta meeting. He could've gone to ballot. Or i don't even know if he had a meeting. Just by example. This guy could do. What the hell he wants to do. He chose to finish college stick with his team fulfill his commitment already made into this degree. That's awesome that is mature. I don't know we liked to say that's what we would have done. But what of your twenty one years old. You're still reaching between a couch to find the coins to get your clothes washing me. By example multimillions of dollars fame not as hard work and no more competitions. The ncwa has never been within the heavyweight class. As hard as it is right now never simply never happened. For god's sakes they have. The defending olympic champion is just one of them. I could probably stop right there. The ncwa is only had a defending olympic champion. One other time in the form of kyle schneider tie walls was. they're pretty tough bracket of course knicks. They're pretty tough bracket this thing go. Six and seven deep with world medalists multiple champion. Never been harder. Why would you want to go back in the neck ride. If Why would you want go win. The incident tunnel. If you've already won one. We wanted to go. Beat all of those guys on that schedule. If you've already beaten them why well told the steamy would told us. Coach would told the school in the fans that he would set out to get a degree going to do man. That's a coup will move by him. That's a freaking cool. Move by gable. I thought. I like gable right. I thought i appreciate it gable. Not as much as i do now. Cool move to give you just a little bit more insight and i don't have a lot of details on this. I had a somewhat special moment with gable in that. I was out at olympic camp brought. My cameras had cameras with me. Gable got a phone call while we had the cameras rolling and it was from the wwe so he asked. Would you not put this out now. We're standing there thinking. Can we at least have it. Can we have it so that some day with your permission we can capture this moment and put it out. So i've been armed that he was going to the wwe. Been armed with that information. But i was given to me in that moment. Right you guys know. I didn't say a word. Did i could for me. Old shale could be trusted. But it's one of those situations and they got this new thing with the nc double a. Can't think of what it's called. It's an acronym. And i l i f. It's something like this. Just means as a collegiate athlete you can receive sponsorship dollars. You can begin to do things.

It was quickly and it's now been taken down so i don't know how much that even absorbed can you. Just can i start from the beginning Pretty much at a wrestling match. Last saturday in sacramento. I took a bad fall. When i came down and broke my lower right vertebrae at the l. One else you trans process and my left wrist. Since then i've tried to my doctor sanders. ufc. Dr been seen for seventeen years by see every time. I have an injury like this. I don't have to go the er and i was That failed because they wouldn't fill my one medication. Because i had already gotten a narcotic prescribed the couple of weeks ago. Some not allowed to get too so you can only get the While shit i'm in sell same boat next day. I decided i'll go to the er and i did and it was a complete nightmare and after the er now my shoulders injured. I wasn't leaving fast enough. And they were taken out. The security nudge. Me and i fell or night. A plant. my right hand sharply on the ground is my only limb i have. That's not irks. That good catchments and i popped up and got angry because i started swinging the club. And i'm like what the hell are you gonna vote broken vertebrae man like extra sierra. I brought all the info too. It's like lion. I got this report from dr sanders. I could give it to you after the show so you can read the words yourself. And i'm like what the hell and that was. Go my god. You can't swing crunch security staff and everyone they're gonna shoot yourself. I look behind me. I noticed that open bathroom door and it quickly made it for that and shut the door i saw. I think that's what i saw. Because i think that's what you saw. Okay so you go into a bathroom at one point. The police are there stephan. And you tell them you tell them who you are. I heard you say. Cvs has my. You told them. i got something. I don't know how the law works. I was trying to take here. I told him the truth. The funniest thing about the story is that. Like i'm not asking you believe in religion or anything but me personally had become a little closer to god these last years i hit rock bottom and now he's able to quit drink in an trying to turn things around so the day. Before i went into the er a- god sent me a message that said practice telling the truth for twenty four hours. And i said i would and this is what it's come to so okay so let's just back up to what i saw because i'm assuming the viewer that's watching. This assad is at one point. The camera starts up your with the police and you tell them. I've got a broken back. Let me start with. That came a third rope. A pro wrestling match is that documented. Or are you self diagnosed that i. That's that's what i get treated for doctors for this broken wrist sarah my broken-bat although it doesn't say the risk is broken. I had broken this risk so many times in the last few years. He can't tell what's new and what's owners also. Lot displacement of those loans said it could be heard from so we didn't write broken wrist wrote it. Risks injured left wrist injury wrote broken lumbar vertebrae and he took an x ray. So what seems to be the problem with. Cvs you said your idea again. That's a nevada lot. I'm not familiar with it. My understanding don't have it after that the night. I tried to get my prescription filled and got turned down that was heated. So i just pulled off angry and then the next day i couldn't find my debit card or ide- so i figure i left it there. It turns out. It's not there all right copy so we're still looking for the. Id sounds like it's not a piece of the story where we at now except for the because one thing i noticed that i'm talking to you and according to the video that i saw it looked like you were going to be arrested a day ago and you're not arrested so i assumed that video caught out and i'm now seeing i'm missing so you see that first video where i opened the door in and have that conversation with a hotel sapin than i shut the door again. All right that was one video just documented and he took my phone and i got arrested kiss. I couldn't post anything just to get something up on most right and that second video you saw with the cult of the police interaction with the police was right after that. I shut the door and then i opened again and i said hey man. We're just trying to get out of here. I just wanna make it outside. Please don't push any anymore like you did before. And they were like okay. We just want you to league so they let me lead and then outside. I had that with the cops. Like hey man. I know. i'm just gonna happen this car. And they're gonna pull over an arrest me man and i don't have a license i'm i don't wanna get bounded me. Promised me wouldn't and i ended up video site said. Look it's my only chance. So i got in my car and not drove off and no one will be over so it wasn't a trick. You didn't get arrested them. What the police have to say i again. I've only got this videotape outta here. We know you didn't commit any kinds. What we just want to get you out of here. How can we do that. Okay are good enough what are you. What do you do now are mean. Are you being treated. Do you have somebody you could tell. It's thing as i broke lower lumbar vertebrae and wrist almost two weeks ago. Now and.

UFC 251: Kamaru Usman vs. Jorge Masvidal
"Island becomes a reality. Well, I guess it's already a reality. But there will actually be fights there, and it's actually Gosh! Maybe one of the best certainly form in my opinion, the best card they've had since they've come back the UFC But really good card. A lot of big names. And then, of course, the main event of the evening is a fight that Probably should have been on the card anyway. What We ended up plucking out, I suppose. With Moscow it all being put in against Guzman. So I wantto talk a little UFC 2 51 Maybe Look at some of these potential wagers and get Ah Someone who used to frequent this show. It needs to come on on Maura, and that's on me. Scott Kanevsky joins me now, Scott. Good to catch up, man. How are you? I feel like a first time long time been awhile. It has been a long time. And how are you? How's the family? How's everything going doing well, and I appreciate you having me on thinking about me and things were going well, and things are only gonna get better tomorrow night. Yeah, absolutely. Did you laugh at Dana White when he said when he first brought up Fight Island? Yes. And no. Because you know you crazy enough that he was probably speaking the truth. You figured, you know, maybe he has something going and he's crazy enough and has the money the backing toe pull something off like that, And sure enough, here we are. I mentioned at the beginning How good this card in is and it's not just mustered all versus Guzman by it. Man. Did we luck out? Right? I mean, my you know, I feel bad for the dude who had to pull out and it doesn't get a fight Guzman tomorrow but as a card, it's so much better now that master dolls on it, don't you think? Agreed. Gilbert Burn, We'll get another shot at some point. I mean, hopefully next in line for whoever wins tomorrow night. But this is a fight Everybody wanted. You know, already. Mas Vidal inducement aren't exactly the best of friends. They've been talking for a while. They had that the altercation back in the states. It was Super Bowl on radio row. So this is something everyone's been wanting to see. And now with Byrnes Contracting Cove it we're going to get it on. I think that's just made a already really intriguing AA fight cars that much better. Now I got burned by Justin GHT because I was all in on Tony Ferguson in that fight like it's not gonna happen. It's not gonna happen twice, right? I mean hospital is not gonna win. This thing is he Okay. From a mm a standpoint, I have to say no. And I would agree with you. But if you're going to talk, betting going all in and you've seen what's happened over the last 24 36 hours. Money is just money and tickets are pouring in on Mas Vidal. He's he's gone from about a plus 2 25 plus 35 to a plus 1 85 last I saw earlier today. I believe there would be MGM believe put out there that they're taken 81 ticket being booked for Mas Vidal. And you know, you know what they say. You gotta follow the money. So it just Somebody knows something, or is it just It's obviously not just big bets that are coming in on Mas Vidal, but there's no number of that's coming on him. And that just makes you wonder if someone I'll be just like you know where agree like you. It was all set up for Tony Tow. Go in there and handle him and take him to the ground and didn't but You know, maybe he'll learn from that. Now. What's what's mobs but all going to be able to do to be Guzman. That's the big question. You know, he's better on the feet, obviously, but you know who's going to try and take him down and out wrestling? So How? How does Ma's little battle that and managed to Ah, toe? Hold him off? I don't know. I think I'm right there with you. And I just looked at Fanduel and they have mustered all that plus 200 right now. So even though that's a little bit longer odds, then maybe MGM has that still down as you said Scott from 2 25 or something like that just a couple of days ago, and I guess oh, so let me ask you this if we do the betting thing I I have Guzman minus 2 45 or mosque it all plus 200 Or and then of course, you could get into it. Um, I took in my parlay. I took Guzman just straight up because I got enough other stuff in my parlay that I'm going to get pretty good odds out of it. But if you were laying down, Abed, would you would you do it smarter, Would you Dumas fit all Okay, so I would I would wait until about 15 to 30 minutes before fight and see where those odds are because of who's come down to, like, minus 200. I think you jump on him because they're getting more value for him. And firstly, I think he does come through with the wind, and he's just going to grind it out. But if that money starts about bounce backto mas Vidal, you know, I think, and you're looking to take a shot. You're willing, you know, maybe you had a good night on the earlier fight. Maybe maybe you going on and on and you take that shot. Just hope he comes with that flying me. He landed on aspirin
