"A kid. Spending less kyrie irving playing seventeen games. Duke still builds this entire network of fans for Kyrie right and I feel comfortable saying this guy. Her a recently heard. Whoa John Kinds of typecast. Say I'm not breaking news that NCAA players get paid when he was talking about how much they have to pay him the G. League so it says it like I feel like I could say right right and so if you're saying all right if I go to duke or if I got one of these schools I'm getting paid X. amount you get paid slightly more to go to the G. League but it's slightly and I lose the incredible six-month-long Brandon opportunity that someone likes ion or even Kyri with those ten games. Twelve Games did so in that sense. I think that's what the NCAA stills advantage for me as a person with morals. I think it's crazy that these kids have to give up a year. Earning to be able to build that brand will use us. I actually wrote it down morally. I think he would feel better. Yes you could go to college in. Somehow money's GONNA end up in your bank account or someone's Bank Account. That's you know but it opens up first of all just the moral way of being like you. WanNa feel good about it. I just think deep down these guys still rather do it. The way you're talking about it 'cause then you can have a meeting with NYC and everyone can know about it you can have a meeting with. Ea Sports and everyone can know about it like it. Just any brand deal that you and I get it. They're opening up this opportunity but I think we all realize like what are they even getting themselves into with using your rights. Your likeness. I should say we don't know what that looks like right now and good luck trying to figure that out in the first few years and so. I think it makes a lot of sense to have a place where you can go. And here's the other thing that we've learned a lot of kids right now are taking classes online so I would imagine. They could still go to school online if they would like to. They can go get an online degree while they're playing basketball. Because that's thing that we've learned. Is that when you play? You have a lot of downtime. What are you doing with your downtime low? You can work on your business and if you do want to go to school that's four one of those eighteen year olds. They can do that as well. So there's this disruption that there and the reason why college basketball has an upper hand for a lot of these things is because it's the old system. It's a system that we're used to well. That doesn't mean that we shouldn't have some disruption going on going onto the eighteen best players in the timing and you're having a Madison Square garden the idea of just thinking big like that awesome. When does this take place if it was up to you? What's the timeline of this? League is during the college basketball season. Yeah I think there's already. This natural understanding basketball is happening at this time. I wouldn't WanNa take on the NBA. Playoffs crazy right. I guess the question is is it better to end it before March madness. Probably because you don't want to go up against March madness or maybe you follow March madness and play at the April right before the NBA playoffs tip off. Yeah Best of nine. The fun part about that for me. Is You have what you don't get March. Madness is a true like battle that you get in a playoff series. You don't get to see guys start to actually disliked each other start to get this competitive edge coaches start to target certain players things like that and as having some fun was kitchen candle and going through the top twenty prospects of all of these different years and there'd be a great series between Amari status Iran Chris Bosh to power forwards. Let's say there's these opportunities to see these young stars at the same -sition on different nine man teams play and it just like it's amazing stuff to take your hobbies is would match up at that age? Yeah you could always pull back on that right because the one thing that we pull back on all the time is the magic bird moment in so many things had to play itself out like about the odds of that ever happened and it happened and I guess that's what makes it great because it took so much for that game to even take place but if we can pull back footage like you just said with Bausch and stoudamire in yet much easier to make that happen in your system. But that's what we want we want to. This is what happened when these guys squared off his eighteen year olds. Now they're twenty-seven-year-old. Let's go back nine years and see what that looks like. I totally get it and I think that you also see March man is what happens while a team's GONNA lose and they're gonNA have an NBA star on that team and they don't even fly back to school a lot of time with their team because they're onto the next step they're going to the NBA. They're ready to go to the draft. There's other things have to do so like a January February period when college basketball is. Let's be honest like the ratings are really low. Very few people are watching it. They start tuning in maybe towards the end of February to wash conference tournaments. And all that but really that whole stuff starts in the beginning of March Anyway. So you get your going in January February. They're ready to go to the next step anyway but they've been training all along to get ready for the NBA. These creative ideas. Like you had said you're just using platforms that exist so you have this axios newsletter. You have someone who's very into sports with like Kendall Baker. You have your creativity within twitter of just having these types of conversations. Do you do this a lot? Do you come up with these. I say wild ideas but it's not wild because I think yeah it's wild in the sense that someone's going to have to fund this league to get the game play Massive Square Garden but payless dream big. Do like doing this. Do you come up with these different ideas with other sports. Yeah I mean. Unfortunately bars don't exist anymore. If you have plenty of these stupid sports fix the eighteen was definitely built over a few beers titan out an issue that I was passionate about which that I can't believe they don't pay the best. Eighteen year olds played basketball right. But Yeah I have other stupid ideas. I got one for you that I think you'll love kitchen to me so back when we were kids. I don't know how old you are. I am thirty one now so back when we were kids we had posters on our wall of NBA players. Either in stupid like positions like that home basketball's or Dunkin on people obviously still talking about the poster as dunk but I think posters static. They're like very old world that kind of idea nowadays the poster I think exists basically on. Nba Twitter if nowhere else like. There's a big chunk. Everyone cuts the highlighter. The gift that guy gets cloud on NBA twitter for the night. And then it's of gone. And I hope kids aren't on. Mba Twitter at ten PM. So you Kinda lose the experience of the poster. My big stupid idea that I need another probably millionaire for this. One is a screen. The size of a poster could put on your wall and similar to Bill Simmons's championship bout. There's a raining poster older during the NBA season. So forget I'd dunks and really embarrassed somebody that then gets transmitted to every single poster that people have in their rooms with the CO little design. Maybe there's a fireball. Maybe there's whatever and we see that dunk shows up now. Kid goes to sleep the next morning. Say Devon Booker dunked on sorry backup center and he wakes up and there's a new poster on his wall that's been transmitted to that led screen. We start talking now. Adam silver and we can have it by Christmas like. Let's go as get these new posters that change and are all digital song my room at some point or something like that all these posters and it was kinda crazy to see that we just took the technology we have today like you see people who. I mean a lot of to. It's just on their phone so it's like what you put on your screen but this is it's working within what's happening in the moment. Which is what I love about it and obviously having the technology to be able to do it like you said so many different ways you can enter someone's house and get into that idea because I don't think those things go away. I think the idea of idolizing athlete. Or whatever especially for a young kid who just loves basketball and wants to have that highlight. I mean that's all all the different highlight. Reels exists nowadays at any platform. I think that's a good idea like you said you need another millionaire or billionaire to throw something at it but I think it's all about though having this creative mindset that it comes from freelance journalists you create a lot of content and I think in order to create a lot of content. You gotta come up with some wild stuff. Talked all sorts of people on our podcast and when I saw your idea on the newsletter. That's really I had no idea if you'd even respond reach out if nothing else man. It's a great idea and I'm glad you submitted it. I'm glad I got to read it just stuff to make you think it doesn't necessarily mean it has to happen and maybe there's a version of that somewhere down the road that we come across and perhaps in a way the G. League is becoming that. And maybe they just take ideas from it and you have the Big Three League. That's out there so there's ideas like that but do you see that when you're creating content the more you create content in the more in the flow of it. You are that you just come up with more ideas. Absolutely as a freelancer constantly. Pitching Unsafe Ivory Story. I did a pitch five stories so the skillset is understanding. What the news cycle wasn't looking for things like that and understanding a character that I've found and how I can write a story or profile about that character. It's into the news cycle the for example. My last big story was about the greatest. Male ultra runner in America was running his first ever marathon. The Olympic trials. I've been fascinated by this guy for a long time but I need a way in so I find all right. He's running the Olympic trials. That's a big international event. He's running the marathon. Something that the New York Times magazine might actually be interested in. And then I'm able to find the editor who wants to get the story picked up and have to be pitching idea story character and then be able to time that all to a news cycle. I think that's kind of the challenge of freelancing but it also means does get your mind going let me think of these different problems and how to fix them foreign editor absolutely. I mean I think just in content alone no matter what type of content. You're creating just start writing like I've heard people who write songs a lot of times. They'll start writing lyrics to a song they already know. It just gets them going and they'll come up with new ideas for that song in. It's you're also pitching yourself. It sounds like you're coming up with these ideas like does this make my five that I want to talk to someone about right like you're constantly just putting these ideas out there and so much content. There's a lot of noise out there and you're seeing people who aren't necessarily freelancer knows they're not content creators by trade but people are still starting to put themselves out there. You heard it like businesses people. You are your own brand. Now you're a media company..

"There's like point zero zero zero. One of a molecule that could be getting in the chronic. Could be that small tiny you know. No one's ever seen these kind of characteristics in the DNA it has HIV correct Kris. When you get you can get multiple times which you can do with other strains of things or viruses so they said the second time you get. It is when you have A. There's a sixty six percent chance of death after that when I got on the Third Time. It's like eighty five. Oh my God on the Third Time. You can get a multiple times. Well listen you know what. China was going to be a superpower. Who's going to be this? It was gonna be that but people got to face the music so we're going to see in the next four weeks and you know all I can do is pray for those people and not much else. If they released that microbe out of that laboratory by negligence and that was a microbe engineered to kill populations that is a massive massive travesty for China to commit and they're going to bury it. They'll never admitted just like older famines and all their other monsters problems but their economy shut down. And you know what we got to start thinking about I mean the aftermath of that. I mean you know people are. You don't WanNA dream state right. This thing is happening. And we're worried about some bullshit or this and that and then something comes along and sweeps everybody out to see you know and if this is truly that it's it's hard to believe an Atar to it's like being in a dream because we're worried about you know the jewelry store and the rent and this and that but is that what's going to happen through what's going to happen and we don't know you know they're saying it could be even sooner you're talking about school closures. They want you know schools university closures the Massive Square Garden. No concerts church closures. You Know Moss closures Anywhere with those things businesses close. Let's say for instance like a What's a big company Chase Manhattan J. P. Morgan Chase? You know you have a building but not that it's going to be stopped because there's twenty people and you know it spreads through you know Aerosol spread through fucking elevator button. Whatever may be. Let's help to your listeners. Out Man wh- what precautions. Should they be taking right well? Should they should right away. Order gloves water canned food. If they're stuck in a quarantine should they get these masks? Get a bunch of then. Ninety five masks are sold out back to order for like three months. Even dentists that I know are trying to get mass. They can't everything's backwards fucked up. I've already been telling people how to wash their hands. How to keep sanitizer on their wear gloves. Are you going to replace airport things where you're gonna see people pass through things? Just be smart. You know I mean that's what it is. Don't wear your clothes and bad that you were and sat in the bus or where the fuck it may be but try to avoid things. I've already broke that down but for the most part. Yeah you know what I'm in the airport. You see me wearing a mask. You see me wearing gloves. You s`amuse sanitizer. You see me not just being very careful to not touch mouth. Don't touch your mouth. Your is a pick your fucking knows him saying wash. Just be careful you know. Sometimes maybe disrespectful house on forty seventh yesterday the David and it's like fuck. It's hard right especially when you pay respect to like an elder somebody and it's like you know what every time. I do that. I'm making sure touch my mouth is. I'm a hands on my nose and I'm just sanitizing. Just keep yourself clean guys. I've already mentioned this before to you Changing and carrying on. Do you have any other business? Measures besides tracks. Well I'm fucking with the news. That's why I'm a little briefed on this corona virus because people like Me Explaining stuff and I like the podcasting thing. So I'm playing around with the media That's pretty much it essentially. So what is the goal for tracks? Nyc Like you've come a long way. I do you feel like you have a long way to go. Do you feel like you peaked. Just carry I definitely didn't beak You know everybody in the jewelry business. Would they get their money? They they go and they go into the real estate or they go into something else. I like fucking with the media so I think I might put my pinkie toe into that good but I wanNA build my business and I want to take a trip to Tokyo. Those dreams are Kinda Dash now for two with this bullshit going on but You know I got tracks Tokyo out. There's a good friend of mine you know what's funny is. He's a fine Klein friend of mine to his good guy. Yeah he's the best. He's an amazing guy. I'm in Tokyo before times. I just had to cancel next week's trip. Yeah all my clients and everything it's fucked up. It's it's getting really bad but that's funny. I didn't even think about that right now until I realized when all that Shit happen he reached out to music. You'll man please don't fight. He's the best. He's a really really good dude. And you know this businesses a lot of pressure I wanna get it on. Its feet and I kinda WanNa work attracts. Tokyo will get the fuck pressure off of me. Let this thing was thing. Make money 'cause I have jewelers working with so on and so forth. Nice good friends here that are holding it down and I want to go to Tokyo on. You know being I love Tokyo. I don't really know. How's The fucking describe it? It's fair places to go to take a couple of months of Have you ever had a client not pay you? Of course in would you do what do you how do you? How do you handle it? Depends I mean sometimes. There's no need to exert the energy to to go chase them out. You just gotTa avoid that situation Whether they you know if you follow business protocol you're not going to be put in that situation some client if they're going to put a deposit or so on and so forth you don't give him anything and let them out. Of course you got Takashi Shit that I that I dealt with but I don't know actually again. I'm sorry Max I am not a fucking like I kind of get into a self obsession thing and I kind of like I know the news here and there as far as some in the jewelry business like kind of like stuff. I had heard something. I'll worldstar but I don't know exactly. Could you break down the situation? Yeah well I mean. I was just promoting marketing. My business and I was just Giving out some free earrings or something like that and some. Dj gave a bag of with attracts logo Takashi they photograph them and all of a sudden shoddy pops out to my office and says. I've been following you for a long time. I've been doing this doing that. And Da Da da and he brings this kid and I guess they had an angle. I didn't even know who he was at the time I was like. Oh Takashi Takashi this not I didn't know what was going on but he brought this kid in and you know. I saw marketing opportunity. I didn't know anything about him again. Like you're self absorbed so to speak. You know I was sitting there listening to You know Ancient Rome on on a podcast on Audio Book. Right not listening to pay attention to. Who's a pop off and hip hop? When I met him you know they if shoddy he gave me the the you know. Bring this to me and do this and do that and I saw when I did my research. I saw the the attention. This guy was getting and I you know I hopped on my do. Gowdy streetfighter and I went down to Brooklyn where they were at. And you know shoddy wanted me in there. Because I'm a jeweler and I gave him some legitimacy and we were rolling around and hanging out and I was just doing my marketing thing. And then you know they had the shooting in the Barclay Center and Things went left and they had other priorities and I cashed in on my marketing opportunities buses. I could which went viral for me. And you know that kind of disparage my image to but that was self inflicted but I knew that I could maneuver around that as soon as I got the attention that I could tell a different story then. I could do this then. I could do gold education all sorts of Shit. So that's how that went down in a crazy as that you you just really broke down in a scientific way and you really did break it down as if someone was about eleven years old should understand that and then on a business level you broke that down as a first year second year university person like that. It was interesting that you would understand. You admitted it because there's things I might have done. You know what this is going to be some shit fuck it. Let's do this and let's see what the you know. Let's see what the fire does. Maybe to fire takes us into a good place may be taken to a bad place them. We prepare for both of it. Well I say one thing I mean you know what I'm saying like I always read on your page. Where you're you're Ben. Baller not been humble. And that's that's your thing that's cool but mu. I'm a humble guy. I I don't like to trendy brands I don't like You know I don't really give a shit what celebrity or this and that. That's just me I mean everybody. You've everybody pays attention that you sent me weren't any I see your bathing ape back there endorsed by the umbrella. That's of course you know whatever it is so I'm not saying that you're a some trying to give you a white T. And you have a classic at what have you but for me. None of that shit matters and I know that people's minds are malleable. They'll say that you're a sucker one day. And then if you if you believe in yourself which I do and I and you strengthen your mind you can change your perspective you can enlighten them in certain ways and I like to play that game and if I have to two steps back today. Greece's forward I will amen shit again. You winning me over man I appreciate you make you make you make me rethink about you. Know what I'm saying like I might have to make a new post about you. How long do you see yourself in the jewelry business? Like how long do you see yourself doing the same thing? Well we're not the same thing. I'm so yeah building this business and evolving myself with this You know the reality is it's at this point in time with all the things that have been I've been involved with. It's already in my blood man is. There's nowhere to go and this is my bread and butter. This is the business. That's been feeding me since I was eighteen years old. And you know giving me the chance to a live a independent life and I respect it and I learned it and the the knowledge. I have here as much as I would love to study this and study that and do this and do that. The knowledge I have here is greater than an and it made a man out of me as well. So I think I'm gonNA keep kicking this and keep keep hustling for a while and see and you know that's GonNa take you to the grave with thirty five people too so that's a big deal to Yep What would you say your big piece? You've made to date that kind of like famous. Well I just popped out today as you mentioned with this piece. I may for Jody High Roller which is pretty cool. You know as you guys pointed out right I mean I I like to serve when I started in the business I had my mindset was because I come from a rich background I always thought that people watching their purse and that's why when I sold my first ring I bought it for seven fifty and I sold it for seven fifty. I always thinking about people. I can't imagine selling something to somebody for ten thousand hundred thousand two hundred thousand. I was never mentality so I went for the mass market. You know what I'm saying right. Three Ninety five right six fifty seven fifty and I just wanted to sell jewelry to the masses. That was my objective right. I wasn't thinking about Jay Z and beyond say and the top of the world so I built my business around that but you know I personally have the jewelry skills and the cognitive skills to put a piece of jewelry together. It's not as hard as people might think no not at all. Yeah but it takes lengths to the intricate detail. Things like this last piece. I made with Takashi more calm it is serious business takes time it..

"Chris, this Scotty. And Paul Rogers Scott to coach of the belemnites rate information, all d one for all sports there. Scotty. First of all, congratulations. Secondly, I want to ask you this, how long has been looking at seriously going D one. And when did you realize when you were going to be able to make that move? Tremendous question. Tony actually, this is the third time that is been studied twice hundred down and now started in January with Dr Donovan and what's really interesting that they you both your background. I don't care. Recruiting coaching it teachings about relationships. This was kind of started through our lacrosse team being division, one the southern conference, which is firm and appelation state level schools day combined with the eight son for men's lacrosse, so that relationship was born. I Scott, we can't and the Commissioner of the sun and then went Dr Donovan at her tremendous strategic plan. One of the bullet points was transferring to division, one in all sports. Well, but pursued a relationship, we already have been here. We are yesterday afternoon. You know that I think that both wealth for the future. I really do. Absolutely. Scott, the, the kind of a two part question why the four-year transitional period? And does that put you a little bit of a handicap right here at the start convincing players to come there? I heard you guys at five twenty. No, it does it use to, like, for example, when northern Kentucky. When they transitioned it was two years. But when you're season ended of his favorites point six you're done uniforms. And now it's four years. But you are mmediately eligible to compete for the regular season conference championship. The conference tournament championship the about winning either one of those your outta medically or you can get an at large bid to the NFL T, which is now run by the end. Oh boy. The CBI or the CIT, so you're eligible for everything except to be tournament. The reasoning was. With total ban. Couldn't recruit one player. Think now the game changer with the N T and play and, you know, look at Lipscomb massive Square Garden son and I watch the game. It was a tremendous game against Texas in the championship game you know, on ESPN in massive garden of the NFC. So, I think it does allow you to think speaking of recruiting how does it change your strategy, a are there any concerns that now that you're going to be the one that this could be be strained with the Abell when it comes to recruiting both competitive programs? You know you look at that two ways. We've tried to be a head of this curve in terms of managing our roster. And the biggest issue is in division two. You have ten scholarships, which they may be divided. But if a player Tony cruise Paul Rogers, if they qualify for fifty percent that any student coming to qualify four, then as likely only had to give them fifty percent. So we had seventeen players full scholarship because we recruited great student. Now thirteen means thirteen we've been ahead of this, and I can't say who but we did issue our first division what offer yesterday. Wow, I had to practice. I had to practice for about ten minutes with the young man. We had been recruiting that maybe in division two, we would not have had a opportunity recurred, but I can say he was thrilled. We were thrilled so we're moving forward. I think the other thing you look at the ability to judge talent and character Toronto. Raptors did not have one single. Lottery pick on the roster. They just wanted to world championship. So that obviously is going to be something that has to be, you know, really, really right on target in terms of valuation players, just where they are. But, but where they can pitch potentially go Scott your success, and your personnel has sort of made. You think the public face in many ways of, of Belen, but this is not a basketball move. It's university move. And, and I think you know what a special place that is an interesting comment, to me was getting reaction from students, and I only found one student that was disappointed to move and the reason for that was, she's going to graduate not be around there for. Yeah, we're back. I'm not sure. Jake very close. Really do. Guys transparent. I started late Friday night and I reached out to many every former player and people that shaped my life in terms of coaches, Tony off the air, I got called very very, very late last night. About thirty minutes from star basketball camp right here and from tubby Smith. You know, I think those relationships and I've spoken to many, but the talks, I had no man, not texting with the with the players. My first years of those conversations they ran the entire gamut from. Coachman. It means so much that you call to incredibly motion incredible emotion. I'm already planning on. We had four seniors first year here in six Matt Miller, Thrasher, Tonio, Blake and Calvin power, I wanna bring those back 'cause we play Friday, Saturday, November, because they have the true before and after picture than anyone, we're gonna we're redoing. Thank Dr leeann, MRs land the locker room and I want them to see because when they were juniors they one nine game. And they had a winning season first year here and that, that started the momentum. Right. That, that moment and they deserve credit and everybody. Well, so do you Scotty? And we're real proud of you. First of all, and Secondly from Ballard development you've just been a tremendous person tremendous coach. It's been a joy to.

"It sounds great. If you're on death row. Come on. This is an instrument that you can put in your pocket. You can. Well whip it out, and it's great guy with a Qatar and who Monica. It's, it's, it's, it's heaven play one or the other. My, my complaint is, if you're Billy, Joel massive Square Garden. Yeah. And you're doing the concert and you need this fifteen musicians. They're all great. Let one of them play it. You don't have that coat hanger thing around your mouth to hold the Monica of it's stupid looking. There's no doubt about dick. You know how you look right now on those earphones. Well, it looks bad. But that's why it's TV of the radio. Like Mike francesa, somebody does you switch to those little your you can't see. Yeah. Yeah. I get it. I get it. We can't do that with her Monica, Monica. This is a five dollar a Monica for some the walk around and play. It's per. Okay. So that's it. Those are the only issues. I have with you. Everything else, you and I are like, blood brothers. Okay. Everything I listened to you, by the way, we do. Listen to you every day. It the first thing you're a habit in our household. But by the way, this is L paranoia. And that's neat your wife. That's correct. Is this like the gold star families? She can't talk. She wanted to sit outside. Oh, you don't want to right? He's the platform out here. Okay. That's something like that. By the way, the receptionist have has no idea who you are Anita. No section. It's outside at the. That's like. Oh, really? Yeah. Need is our legendary receptions care. She's need if you met. Okay. We have some who is some. And show. She's like, what who? Sure. Well, actually, I've never come in that way ever. Really? So you have a special little pass. Yeah. Usually people on the air don't come in through the front through the lobby. We have a back entrance. We can come right in. Oh, good for you. Don't always otherwise, you have to talk to the receptionist. You gotta talk. So, hey, what's surf light theater? People can come to this. When you when did you actually start to season? We actually start on June six, and I show is Holiday Inn, Irving, Berlin and love that one of the great movies ever. Oh, I know. I know. And yeah. Except for one scene, which we won't talk about. Yeah. But it was that movie which came at the mid thirties. Right. Fred Astaire Bing Crosby. You it was that movie. Right. Where Berlin, put an all these stunts that later became famous. That's the movie were white Christmas. First appeared Easter parade. Right. Right. Happy holiday, and everybody thinks it's a Christmas movie. Everybody some reasons because it's exactly. It's every it's a song for every month. And that's the beauty of this one show, this one movie had all these incredible songs. And then later, somebody said, let's bring back that white Christmas, or Easter parade or holidays. So, so that's our first show of the season. And that starts basically in a couple of weeks. Our cast. We spent the entire less couple of months interviewing and auditioning over three thousand people to get the in samba who will be with us now all summer surf, like theater is a theatre. That is a leftover from the old, you know, the old situation where theaters were going up and down the east and west coast, only in the summer. It's a summer stock theatre. Well, that's true. Yeah. Yeah, but it's one of the only ones left does only a couple of dozen of these left, and there were hundreds of these things throughout proliferated throughout the country. So now you've got this. You should be doing other ones. You should open one somewhere else. What do you have in mind? Well, I don't know where. Wherever people go for the that's it doing one in the Hamptons and. Yeah. Well, you know, I'm kinda tired already with this one. This is a real this, a lot of work. I mean, get three thousand auditions putting it all together building building the sets always things that we do. I have a an amazing not very Trump. Like you think trumpet tired? I kid to another building. I want you to know that I worked with Donald Trump. And what, what did you do with them? I produce concerts for his casinos in Atlantic City, and, you know, so we have, you know, I have a great relationship with Donald, I scratch my head all the time when I hear all these people taking them down, and being negative about the guy. I have never had a bad experience. It's very funny. If you've actually known him work with them for years, you can't recognize anything. They're talking about. He's nothing like that. And if you've known Hillary Clinton for years, you don't recognize it either. When they talk about what a wonderful woman cares about people in. So you've been in this business. Forever in promoting? All these concerts and all and Atlantic City was going great. And it wasn't just Trump. Everybody went bankrupt saying Caesar's palace every what happened there? How did how did they blow? That whole thing in New Jersey. Unfortunately, the city was only about casino gamblers. They did nothing for families. They did nothing. You know, you go to you gotta, let's Vegas and there's all kinds of swimming pools, and things that you can do and spend the day, there's all kinds of amusement areas, and so on this nothing Atlantic City, except casinos and restaurants. And this something wrong with that the problem is that when it was the second only market in the country that had naming everybody was running to Atlantic City. But now I think there's something like forty states that have gaming and, and when that happened, so many people have to say it wasn't enough to feed the casinos were there. That's the best explanation of ever heard because at some point Vegas start switching to family stuff and circus. Stuff zoo. I thought they were crazy, but they were right right Atlantic City. Never did that. No, nothing. So so they had to suffer. And, and how they suffer they had to close a lot of casinos that a lot, some casinos, now the balances right? Again. An eater nigh still. We have a, a home on brigantine brigantine island, which is right off of Atlantic City, very big on these islands. I love I. By the way, I listened to your show recently when I was in Anguilla. Uh-huh. Which you pronounce and Gila, and, and it's, it's a lovely place. I was literally at the pool every day. Ten o'clock listening to your show. I love islands we both love island. Well, this is Alan Nita parallel. Oh, there are auction, where you get a bit, a lot of money to come sit in the studio and shows you what kind of listeners, we have, you know, these FM music stations, you might look at those numbers, but and you might hear every car every truck has it on. But our listeners are the ones that own the company has all the trucks. Right. That's why advertise. Anyway, we'll stay with us. We'll, we'll get to we got lots coming up this hour, we're gonna get to President Trump. We're going to get to why these colleges are destroying everybody and check out the webpage a lot of good stuff up there watch. How a fake news. They get everything wrong. "Jane, welcome back. Everybody are I'm gonna tell this quick story. And then we're gonna join John mosaic lock in a minute. So many many years ago when the billions in Bob Ramsey now, we're doing their games Saint Louis you got to the NRT finals in mass and Square Garden, and they were much like Travis fourteen. They would beat up didn't have a lot of players. But at the time they had Anthony Bonner who was going to be a first round draft choice. And so there were ton of NBA scouts there to watch the billions practice. I mean, they had to be twelve fourteen guys just watching Bader so rich growl at the times ask us to come out and participate in practice because he had so many players were hurt so Rammer and who knew the offense, obviously. After watching them the whole season. We were practicing and running the plays. And I don't know if I've ever played harder in my life trying to guard twenty one twenty two year old kids and just doing all the things we needed to. To do so in practices over the scouts talk and the rich Groure and so rich came over to Bob. And I who were nearly we were gassed I mean we were exhausted. He says, hey, those NBA scouts were asking about you guys. And so I see really he said, yeah, they were telling me how much they were impressed with Bonner. But they say, but who does the two guys those guys a terrible. So that was our that was our story. But at least they ask about us as far as the NBA was concerned. I think that's as close as we ever got to it. But the fun part was we were practising in massive Square Garden having a great time and just because those NBA scouts didn't think we were good good players. We thought we were we had a good time doing it. So there's your story. So I'm sure when Travis ass Rammer he'll be falling out on the floor. Like, I always do when I hear the story. All right. We ready for John Zarrella. As we're making connections with him. And let's go to the falls and say good morning to John mazone like the cardinals. Good morning, sir. Good morning, Michael. First of all it was a one of those games in spring that we all take with a grain of salt. But I'm sure you're happy to see you on the winning end of one of those compared to the other side of the fence. Well, that's right. And and you know, clearly two things really come to mind yesterday. Obviously just quality pitching strike. Throwing that part was impressive front from all the different guys that that took the mound yesterday. And I think the other thing that was nice to see is just seeing the the sort of depth if you will some of our younger guys getting to contribute from an offensive standpoint. And so to your point it was day one of the first spring training game. And now we will continue to work and try to improve to leading up to opening day. But it was a good first step, and certainly can take a lot of positives from yesterday. I'm going to throw in one other item. Small it may be but the pickoff play where you gotta guy and you've been at this a long time you seeing guys messed that up, but it was run to perfection on where everybody was supposed to be. And I just think those little things are difference makers, especially when you get deep into the season. Well, they certainly are. And and you know, had that not gone right though. I don't think you would hit the panic button. It's just you know, when you're looking at the first game, you things can get floppy things can be a bit out of sync. But I think for the most part when you're watching yesterday's cargo game felt very much in sync which was which was the positive. Jose Martinez yesterday gets a contract extension. Certainly an interesting player with a unique ability where he can swing the bat anywhere anytime. With the extension was he that late bloomer, or is this at a stage of his career with this was certainly the best fit for his future. Well. Historically. We don't do these kinds of deals. We would you know, make the offer as as a two plus player and slaughtermen with the rest of the group. But here's a guy that that when you look at his earning power and your where he's going to be coming off a year two years where he was getting a lot of opportunity his opportunity may shrink this year because of how crowded or outfield is, but you know, net net, he's a guy that we just we we appreciate it. We appreciate us energy. We appreciate what he brings to the table. And here we were thinking about a way to to thank him. And this was the best way. We could do it. You and I had this conversation. The other day for our listeners who didn't have a chance to hear out countdown opening day, we you and I talked about the mission your plan your vision on stockpiling as much pitching via the draft over the last few years. And now we're seeing a lot of that pitching challenged not only to be in the rotation. But certainly in the bullpen now, you have a little bit of a dilemma because you have a lot of pitching you have enough innings to evaluate these guys. And also get them ready for opening day. Yeah. I don't feel. I the the evaluation part of this is what's tricky. I think that the innings to allow people to be prepared is probably the most at stake here. But you speaking with with our major league staff, I think there's some comfort level knowing that once minor league games get going. We could always play some people on the backside to to get their work. And so the the good news is really is that we have that depth. And and alternate we it'll be our responsibility to find how to best prepare them. All right step camp is about to start. And for our listeners who aren't familiar with that aspect of spring training enlighten us, please? We'll step camp is kind of what it sounds like. It's an opportunity for these young players to to have a chance to take a step ahead. And what that means is we invite roughly thirty minor league players down here to to begin work before their camp opens because they're here, they're probably likely get some exposure to the major league camp. But it also allows them to be very focused or very specifically focused on on some things that they need to work on. And so a lot of ways it's an extension of our structure week. But it's also a little bit more diverse group in the sense that the ages are are a little bit wider. If you will meaning like our structure week is mostly focused with younger players where you'll see some younger players in this camp. But you'll also see some some people will be going to triple A. So it's something we've been doing for a few years, and we really feel it's beneficial not only for the player, but also for our major camp. Should they need help? Inside the final minute. Ricardo president John mosaic. John every year. There's always a player that people within the organization have on their radar. Is there a player this years you enter spring training? You're gonna pay a little closer attention to or more or less looking forward to see if how much they've advanced. The one name that jumps out at me. And I'm not sure singer because of yesterday, but as Helmsley he was someone then a year ago a lot of high expectations for him, and what type of contribution he might make. He was someone that I actually thought could help the big league club last year. And and so it was not a great year for him battled some some injuries. And so getting to see him yesterday and his explosive fastball. Swinging miss pitches was just something that it made me think about how important he could have been. And so now we're seeing that again. And I think that's got a lotta opened up. A lot of is yesterday. John is always thanks for the time. We'll see at the ballpark. And let's just keep this thing going. We didn't have I'm not even going to bring up. The I word because we didn't have any yesterday. And this is keep that rolling. I think that's a good idea. Thank you, Michael take care. He's JAMA's as president of the cardinals baseball operations standby. Chris Rabi has this car to report coming up and then coming your way in just a bit. Because like if they're cheap than screw. We'll put on a best of won't be back next. Boy, really screwed ourselves on this. The other thing about going to see Billy Joel Madison Square Garden, we have as but he's never been. Yeah. Or the thing that's been keeping me from going 'cause it's gonna look we're gonna have to pay a pretty penny for this, right? E even if we get a good deal on Cillian be expensive. Yeah. Probably worth it. I haven't seen him since the river dreams tour. But I think it will still be worth it. We have friends that went, but they sent in a sky box. They got like tickets and has like, well, I can't do anything less than a sky box luxury box at the Billy. Joel do rather a luxury box or like front row. I'd rather front row. But had rather a luxury box to second row because I don't wanna see any other fast. Yes. But I don't wanna be behind anybody. Yeah. Do you think at Billy Joel concerts at that's like like the most drunk show at massive Square Garden every just coming off the lung island railroad. Yeah. The the down in a case of. It's probably ninety percent Long Island center the lick. I like Billy Joel me to a love them. Yeah. We have a complicated relationship with Billy, Joel. Like every islander with. Sense of taste, right. And you know, what I feel you know, who'd be perfect write a song about that would be Billy. Joel. I think Billy Joel could write like, very good Sii, isn't right. New music. "To something show. Al more Ghanian here before we're joined by the morning team coming in on this week before the next chapter of of a remarkable eagle eagles season when you start to think about the way a season unfolds in what happens and everything that takes place to set up a chain of events. It's really weird. That a big loss can be used as as a motivation for a big win. And and when the eagles get trash down there in New Orleans. It actually has turned into a building block that you can use to to motivate to learn from two to to to kind of use as a reason to go in and have your absolute a game. And when you start you as you get closer and closer to the game his start hearing about we've already heard players saying it's not going to be like that again. And it's it's you would think that that would be every reason to say the eagles gonna get smoked or whatever look what happened before. But it actually turns into the other side when you have a team that's on the road the whole time a wildcard a bizarre combination of defending champion slash underdog. That's already. Torn through the playoffs as an underdog. But four times in a row now, then managed to come up a winning games to have that again when they go down into a really hostile place where you can't take over. You can't you can't do what you do in Tampa in Los Angeles, and wherever where you actually did sounds like an eagles crowd. I can't happen there. And but what can happen is that the players on the field feed off what happened previously. And I think that's going to be a big reason why the eagles have a better than okay chance to come out of this thing motivation motivation like that is is not easy to to engineer to to to get going on in a locker room, and it, and it can't be coached into you. It's got to actually be there. And the players felt what happened the last time when they were there, and what you know team that just ran up score. And just absolutely Manhas. Handle them. And I've seen it time and time again, jeez. The all time the all-time upset in the history of my life sports was way, the hell back in one thousand nine hundred and the miracle on ice and that team before the Olympics began played that same at that time Soviet team at massive Square Garden. And I mean, I was there. I'd never seen a team beaten so badly in my life. I mean, it was hilarious. I mean, it was actually funny to like make it look like seventh grade kids against a Stanley Cup champion beat them in in Lake Placid. And I think the eagles are gonna use what happened there and darned it's not going to happen again to us. So I it's another it's another kind of little notch in this story. And the storyline continues and gets bigger and bigger with Nick foles. And I was mentioning the big daddy. I do think that they've become this huge national. Story again, not just as defending champs, but the whole Nick foles thing is just it's off the charts. Crazy. It's no people don't like to share their local their local heroes, but sometimes stories are so big you just cut her realize everybody's taking part of it. I mean, the TV numbers run believable their their whole story behind them is just insane. The the the the the is on them the the the the way it ended in Chicago. Which now they're trying to say is a technically a block. I mean, I whatever I mean, if you've got a finger on it it didn't from by money. It might have gone further wide get a finger on it the way it was headed, but it was become this enormous enormous non national team of that. You just can't take your eyes off. And and I think I think the, you know, Dallas is supposed to be America's team, man. I'll tell you if they ever did match up against them. They would have most of this country route light hell for the eagles to to do this. And, you know, this when you go into this game the breeze story is terrific and battle, you know, there's no animosity for most people toward him, and what he's played and the, you know, the play up the same high school at foals and breeze went to whatever. But boy, I'll tell you. It's. It's a it's a terrific story to kinda just claw onto if you're the national media just a fan going in everybody loves an underdog, and I don't know that I've ever seen a good team be able to play that underdog card so long. This. To be an underdog this many times as a champion. I don't know that I've ever seen in sports anything like this that you can really be like because even even teams that have won that have injured players when they're never underdogs like this. Not this big the the the betting numbers against them are astronaut Michael coming into this. And again, this game's going to be big. So this is a this is a card that you're not even have to invent. It's right there for you sue. So the the story that you love and nobody you can't get enough of is shared from coast to coast from CD shining. See everybody's tuned in to see what this team is gonna do next. And it's a it's a great thing to have that team to have that that team as a light team. It's one thing to be the the team when you're the New York Yankees are the Dallas Cowboys read half half, the people hate you nothing. I hate with this team. If you're if you're neutral Nebraska wherever like. It's the Philadelphia Eagles with this quarterback to nobody thought anything of doing this to to really big teams knocking off that jackass Bella check. And and now this so they're going to be they are a show and a half that you whether you like it or not you got to share with everybody because all eyes are on this team. And they don't wilt from the pressure. They don't shy away from it. They come in. They they seem to say all the right things. They seem to do all the right things. And they're they're gonna it's gonna just cr-. They're gonna just cruise on into this. I can't wait for this game. I I don't see any way that they that. They get kind of way laid out there like they did in their previous game. Every indication is that they're gonna use that fuel at what happened before to go in and turn this thing completely around now last night while the I was at a hockey game. But I took a peek at the national championship game before I watched the end of it. My Lord, I never thought an Alabama team. Could get wacked around like that. And Clemson just whacked around in the quarterback was a true freshman, a true, a true freshman come in and play like that for Clemson. So good on them to come in and have that sort of an impact and and beat that team. So there's another another big football story that that's going on. So that is another quarterback. He'll he'll he'll last at least a year or two probably before he comes out. But he'll be the next one to come out and say he's going to be a franchise guy. In the meantime, yesterday in the New York media, they're all talking about if foles could be the guy for the giants. So while this is going on. Is as much as you're looking at your quarterback situation here and everybody has to like kind of peek a little bit ahead because you can't help. But everybody wants to take a look at the next chapter if they have a little bit of a chance to just view the future a little bit in. They're doing the same thing in New York with wall. What are the eagles are gonna do? Maybe that's our guy. So you gotta keep an eye on that too. Because other teams in are watching this thing go on and say, well, we'll that could be our guy next year and falls getting bonuses for every win a million dollars for a number of snaps, and it's it's just goes on and on and on. So the eagles are gonna be right there with everybody looking at him and not just for that game to the giants. Look giants fans look matching your giants fan looking at this and going ally. Manning your I can have this and the jets have now a quarterback forever. And you've got these two things here in the in the annals of Philadelphia sports. I don't know how you come up with anything like this that you've got. A situation like this where you had the golden boy for so long. And now Nick foles comes in and kind of takes that over few while it's going on the Phillies are kind of got pushed into the shadows with with their situation with hopper, and I guess the everybody's heading out to to Vegas kind of see hopper and tried to talk him into what's going on the now. Now, it's good to the point to the silly point with the other guy with Machado where you've got teams supposedly signing his friends or is in the inlaws or relatives or whatever to try to get him to go and sign there. So that thing rolls on and on, but they now in a spot. Now, if you're in Philadelphia now, and you're one or the other three franchises the the danger of getting the Sixers will be there because they've been a big star and Embiid, but the Phillies really have two and half the battle this thing where this is a, you know, a big big big baseball market and this. Is huge names that are being talked about. And you can't even get a sniff naming going on because of what the eagles are doing. So they're going to have to do something now to kind of get everything back in order. We we mentioned it before the the amount of you have so much so much currency in terms of money and in just your time and the eagles have absorbed so much of it, and I can understand where there's a bit of a hangover once that season's over like to get really involved in anything else isn't the easiest thing in the world. I mean, you can be a monster sports fan. The main there is a limit to your the emotional input. That you have in things and this eagles team this year. After what's happened is really absorbed so much of it. So the Phillies have to have to do something to try to recapture this because you're going to have is a fan letdown period, you know, the Sixers are going to the playoffs. So that's gonna be something. Happens to so they're they're in a position now where I know the owner called it stupid money, but I don't consider it stupid money. If you're whole if you're a whole franchises dependent on to kind of recapture a market that you do something like this. I don't consider it stupid that you do it. I might consider it stupid. If you don't if you surrender that market, if you if you know what's coming up if you coming off a season in which you had such a attendance woes if it isn't smart money. So I mean, even though it it's been kinda termed stupid money, if I'm the if I'm the Philadelphia Phillies, non I watch I got I got football team with two franchise quarterback. So to speak a Super Bowl ring going toward another one turned have turned on the nation. Have turned have turned every light in the city..

"And then it took off where with like XXX and low peop- and six nine it's just like they get all of the money out once and it just goes where like, I don't know postal. He was like at the beginning of streaming. Yeah. I mean post post rise was remarkably fast compared to like someone three years before post. And remarkably slow compared to someone three years after him like the time to become a star. Now, I would peg it at like ninety days at the same time. You were saying that the sound cloud lane or the the sort of door from soundcloud to the charts may shut right? Yes. So we still talk about sound cod Rapids if it's this like bubbling genre. But it's kind of fragmented so many different directions since just since last year. And then also the idea that soundcloud was the platform that could make you a star was this like tried and true formula from like two thousand fifteen to two thousand seventeen and if you go on the top fifty or hundred songs on soundcloud now, you're just seeing the same names like it's just the ones who just made it through. So it's a lot of juice world. It's a lot of little pump. It's kind of almost like a slightly skewed version of like the top songs on Spotify physically dead. Yeah. I think that the most popular songs on soundcloud is like no longer the easiest indicator. I think it was doing a lot of work for an ours. Frankly, I think you would just kind of like jump on. There. And you'd be like who on this list hasn't been signed. Let's give them some money. And I think also like to Spotify apples credit like they realize like why are we letting soundcloud incubate all these artists? So now, it's like there's this thing happening on Spotify. Where it's like this person at a nowhere. We'll have this huge hit. And you just like where did it come from? And then it rolls out that they were like a plan like label has sign them. Like, it's just it's yeah. I think there is still a ton of like artists who are working on soundcloud and still a lot of like discovery made. It's just not as easy narrative anymore in the platform isn't fulfilling this like one very specific job that it used to. It's still just a place. It's just gone back to being a place where people put music, I like to think it makes no sense bad likely think little and somehow ended at all. But I guess I guess it's not what happened. I don't think those n had any lasting impact on anything. But but I mean if that's closed. What's next? I just don't think it's it's easy. I mean, I think. The more than ever we're gonna be chasing like children and like saying where their attentions going. I don't I don't know. Is there a downside to that? I mean because it's my job. I try not to look at it in terms of downsides and upsides. It's just kind of a thing you cover. It'd be like, you know, it's like asking if the wind blowing in a certain direction is a bad thing. A good thing for some people. It's good some people. It's bad. I think for artistry. You're probably not going to get any great albums like if you're following that approach, but you're gonna have a lot more interesting strains of like John Lewis coming out this just a lot to pay attention to right now. And I don't necessarily know where that's all going but going to try and keep up. We didn't talk much about Travis Scott who having like a coronation year just played a crazy show at massive Square Garden that I missed, but it it's like Charles you wrote the he's the best live performer music period. Yeah. Man. I think Travis Scott. This was his year. I think for so long the narrative around Travis Scott was that he was a biter. He wasn't that talented. He doesn't really rap just had all of these things against him. But obviously he had the cosigns of being signed as a producer to Konya and as. Rapper TI. But for so long people are like, oh, well, he makes bangers, but he's just a shit rapper. And I've always been on the train of like, yo Travis Scott is amazing. And finally Astra world was the moment that it truly coalesced. And now he has the second biggest hip hop album of the year behind trait, which I don't think anybody was predicting..

"All right. It just changes the different way that he could be tagged by the Steelers. I've been told that he's got to come back. Otherwise, he's not a free agent. I've been told he doesn't have to come back at all Perry. So I will deter I gotta find out the answer to this whole thing. Because when he shows up to if I'm Steelers do you start him, no way. Now can't do you start James countered? Paintball shape. He's in all I think you'll be fine. I don't think he's just driving jet ski in Miami. But there's a difference between just working out in the gym and playing football game. He still not there. It's thursday. He's not showing up this week for the ravens. I kind of thought that he would just wait for the trade deadline to pass because then if he signed his tender Pittsburgh would just ship them out against the Steelers have the ability to to kind of key shown them. And put them on a list for a couple of weeks where he doesn't play either. So he shows up he signed his tender and still doesn't get paid. This is just a weird one, but James Connor keeps rocking on and the ravens need. It. Ravens win this week. They sweep the season series from the the Steelers, and it moved to five and four and then Steelers send them two four three and one in the Bengals are five and three that AFC north is wide open right now why to open what other items you have over there before. "I mean, they can't stop Jack. No, they did play a little bit better defense, but that's just 'cause TC's offense since you TCU. Gary Patterson's defenses are supposed to be really good every year and they, they can't do anything. And even in that second half three points like TCU drove into like the red zone every time in like either turn it over, they went to their backup. He got hurt a little bit. Yeah, it was good win for Oklahoma. I mean, they're favored, but they're going to lose again when you play no defense, and they played no defense, you're always writing plays defense. Right? And that's why you can lose at any given moment. So I mean that like if we're gonna play hypotheticals, then what if Oklahoma wins out in their only losses to Texas, then money do well, Michigan gets in over them. I would say Notre Dame gets in over them. So I mean, Oklahoma still hasn't beaten anybody. Yeah. I mean, the was the best. I guess you could say that about Michigan to Michigan state will like who is Oklahoma beaten real yet, but who had Michigan at least they beat. They beat Michigan, say hat on if there are any good. I mean, we'll have to play Penn State. I'll. Pile states. Yeah, but Michigan beat Wisconsin still a decent showing the top twenty five and. And. Killing every, you're killing. That's what you have to do. And then you'll have the game at the end of the year against Ohio State. And I think it's worked out perfectly for Michigan. It was just a big twelve have, this is yes, they do is a couple years. Oh, you Texas the moment. So I mean, if oh, you beat Texas in the conference. I would states on defeated actually in the big twelve. Now. I just have a hard time believing that Ohio State would be in there. That guy, Brock, Purdy Oklahoma's going to lose again, Texas. Again, there's no doubt my mind. Yeah, the the Pac, twelve and big twelve. They just eat themselves like we saw against Canada, Oregon. I mean, there's zero chance, the Pac twelve. I feel like there's zero chance to pack twelve playoff because we're chaos would up to happen in Washington state would have to win out, you know, Jess in Washington state, like they're just did you have Washington state and that one, it got dicey at the end. I wasn't watching it. I think it was that the Celtics game classic bet the over because I didn't trust the points which is right in Trey Burke, Michigan, man? Yeah. Watching the next is like watching Michigan by the way they got like yes, right. Buried away. Hardaway in Tribeca. Fouled on three Celtics were up three. I the over if he hit all three, three free throws. It was going overtime. I would've won very convoluted sharing situation for yours drew cheering, but like a lot to you. Not like that. Not like I'm in massive Square Garden, wearing Celtics, close rooting for the Celtics, the crowd's going crazy because it's a fall and I'm like, oh, bad call. But like may. Ten grand swing. Thanks. Did you have any will that over and Purdue is state Dow's Christ wanted to points in this app game save. I was not good gambling. I don't know if I didn't follow even yesterday wasn't good. But yeah, I had like I said Purdue was a four to one hundred OG. Yeah, so I will. Yeah, that's you. And I, I one basically six units on that one game because I had Purdue plus twelve and a half Purdue money line Purdue over in Alabama, Tennessee, not at touch that. And then I had Kentucky, they didn't cover and I can talk you get money line, which is the verse. I just didn't think it could lose and they struggled clearly. That was a huge argument on the college football show. This weekend is well because Dave had Kentucky. What? Six in the country? Oh, yeah. Yeah. I still think they deserve it to be six in the country up. We'll think about, well, I mean, now Florida on the road. It just beat Florida. Oh, no, I researched that. They just beat them by forty and well..

"And I'm also not clear on what Anderson is supposed to be cleared. I mean, there was something that come out had come out where Soros thought he should be cleared at the end of October. And I agree with that per the way who sought a has done in the past and including with me so I know firsthand. It is the date that you were tested. For some reason. In Anderson's case, they have elected to say, no, it's the date that he was notified and that's in November. And that would take him out of the running for the massive Square Garden card. But Anderson has also been lobbying pretty hard for some other fights, including George saint-pierre who perhaps Anderson. Has gone word that they would like him to fight John Jones. And so before that's done or before he has to turn it down, he's trying to position himself for another fight. That is speculative at best. I have no evidence to what I just said there, but there does appear to be some things in there does appear. There's always some rhythms, particularly with the veterans in this sport. The veterans in this sport, they all have patterns. They all have tells they're not great poker players, but they try to be so you can pick up on these tells pretty quick Anderson Silva has had the same recipe since his time started in the USC. He gets offered a fight. He refuses the fight k, the media runs with that acts like he scared once that media starts to die down. He then accepts the fight. Then he gets a lot of headlines for that. Then as the fight gets a little bit closer, he has somebody within his team put out a report of an injury and that the fight could be off Anderson, never corrects any. Let's it go headline day after day of headlines. And once that starts to sink. In the headlines Anderson comes up. I have no idea where that report came from. I'm feeling great and thank you all for your interest in in the fight is on, and that has been his recipe from day one. That's what he does to keep his name up in the headline. Refusal of the fight acceptance of the fight false injury. Correction of the false injury fight goes on. It's worked. It's not a brilliant strategy, but it's his, it's his strategy now for the first time in his career, he's actually calling guys out and that's never happened with Anderson. I mean, it's just not the way he does things and it makes you wonder why? Why are things changing now? And my speculation doesn't have to be accurate. I'm speculating that he has been offered a fight or potentially talked about a fight that he does not like. So he is working overtime to try to build interest in some other fight. That's my speculation based on nothing it could be. I believe that I'm right there, but I will offer for you. There's also a difference in mindset, right? When Anderson was getting called out, he was the champion. He's now not the champion. He's a challenger, so it could change things, but I think that it's fun and I think it's going to be a lot of fun when Dana comes out and tells us who that main event is going to be. Now I could. We could all be let down and maybe we're gonna have one star there for John Jones, John Jones on that carpet. Maybe it's not what the opponent and they're just going to take the gamble and go look, come back, Pfizer, big fights to come back fight at some regard. Should he win this? "I've been at shows were you know, those kind of mutiny you know, to one with and DX where they start throwing coins that Sean Sean said, good for you. You just lost your main event voted. Yes. And it was in Little Rock Arkansas, and they started setting the chairs on fire. Wow. In the arena, that was one and rhino and all somebody jury Long Island, they had imagined Long Island. That was the number one. Worst magin history matches, which is so weird because those guys are good. Yeah, and vents fired them both that night on. I mean, as soon as the match was over well, basically, let me add to that. This is when Vince was going to how shows because he decided that house shows were down and they needed. You know, some sparks events was going on the road which lasted for. About two weeks. But they were out there in the ring and they were doing a lot of rest holds, and people were chanting boring. Vince is like this. This terribly you walked into the ring and said, get out of my ring right now. And I remember like they left and I was thinking to myself if he ever did that to me, I would just say, make me because you know, you're screwed. If Vince is walking down the race, they get out of famous and they both did end up getting let go rhino digits your afterwards. I'd be like you make me make me make me get out of your ring. You know what I mean? Like you got nothing left. You're done, but you know, and like I said, those things happening of those arenas. I feel if Shawn had been hit with a coin in Madison Square Garden, he wouldn't well probably so craze at the time and go to, but you know, it's all thing. Hubble concerts, Dave. If you've been any concerts at the garden, it's on, like we just mentioned, kiss. I went to three to four nights sold out. Dude, not even in the guard, but outside the garden those days, like all the bars around the guard, and we're playing kiss music, and and that's it's kiss at Madison Square Garden. And I had seen again, I saw them at the Meadowlands. I saw them at Nassau Coliseum, but to see those reunion shows at the guard and nose were it just means more special to, right? Yeah, absolutely. Mark mentioned Alice Cooper, I've seen Alice Cooper at the garden. I, I went and saw Cooper and motley Crue together at Madison Square Garden iron made in the Ronnie James, DIO, I've seen just about everybody, massive Square Garden. And again, like being jersey guy, there's just something special about Madison Square Garden. There's no doubt about it, but those kids shows were definitely white. Wanted to highlights lay there. You know, remember I read a quote from Paul Stanley when she said every show they ever played when they were starting in their minds was the garden, like even they're playing in front of ten people at the Coventry. Three or whatever in their minds, it was Madison Square Garden. And I think like I said, they to me like Fosse's never played the garden, but that's obviously the ultimate ultimate to play there. I saw Metallica this kind of a cool story. We came back from a European tour and that night I went and saw Metallica which back stage in that area where we usually go and you Vince office was LARs is dressing room and he had like a little party in there. And you know the next night we had raw at the garden. So it was like Metallica on a Sunday, and you know the WB on a Monday, and this is one of those things that you'll, you'll appreciate this. Yeah, look and see where he's real rumble. We're looking at Vince tearing squad at the Royal rumble. I don't know if that was in, oh, it was at the Fresno, California. So I got that wrong. So sorry, but it was there was the match was a main event match, and it was it was taker and Kane, versus Shawn and hunter versus me. Show as the man of interro in the garden the night after Metallica plough. It was just kinda cool, you know, and remember all the cast of sound it live. Was there watching as well which you know once again stars come to the garden to come show..
