Shocking Video Reveals Hidden Truth of January 6th Incident

"Dan Bongino. Well, if you listen to my show before, I don't know if you just tuned in when you tuned in. But I was telling a story about these these new January six videos, which now clearly tell an entirely different side of the story. I said a lot of stuff happened on that day. We've talked about it fairly candidly on this show for a very long time. What bothers me is the left was looking to hide an entirely different side of what happened that day. Not us. It was them doing that. It's because they don't want you to see the entire story. They want you to see what just happened on one side. And one of the stories is about a really tragic case of a gentleman named Matthew Perna. And here to discuss that is a good friend and real warrior, his aunt, Jerry Perna. Jerry, thanks a lot for taking the time. We really appreciate you coming different on story. Well, thank you for having me on. Well, we met through Xtapes, this movie we did. And I remember seeing you on the, Dinesh had sent me kind of a screener rough cut of the movie. And I'm watching you talk about Matthew and what happened to Matthew my and wife. I looked over and she couldn't take it. Neither could I. It was such a horrible story. If you could tell the audience what happened with Matthew and just tell them what happened, your, your version of it is really kind of tough to listen to, but everyone needs to hear. Well, Matt went the to Capitol on January 6th. He thought he was going to be part of a celebration that day. The crowd was was big and he got into the crowd and it was announced that Mike Pence had certified the election results. It wasn't exactly what he had planned. And as the crowd moved forward, they the went to Capitol and he was in a huge crowd of people and he did go in. He went inside a had door been that previously had opened. He walked around inside the building filming from his phone and he walked out. He went back to his hotel. He made a live Facebook video talking about the day. The video is still visible on our website. He was very calm and cool just talking about the day. He made a comment that he said Mike Pence proved himself to be a traitor today. And he said, but don't worry. Don't worry. This isn't over yet. And basically the way he said it. And about a week or so later, I'm sitting on my couch in Florida. That's up in Pennsylvania. And I saw Facebook posts that said the FBI had posted pictures of people from January 6th. So I clicked on the link and I was scrolling through the photos. lo And and behold, there's Matt's picture. And I was speechless. I didn't know what to do. So I called I called one of my brothers up in Pennsylvania and I said, you need to go to Matt's house first thing in the morning. His picture is on the FBI website. So six o 'clock in the morning, my brother shows up at Matt's house and Matt already that knew his picture was there. And he had contacted a retired police officer and asked him what he should do. And he told him to call the local office of the FBI in Newcastle, Pennsylvania. So at nine o 'clock in the morning. That's exactly what Matt did. And Matt seriously thought this was all a huge understanding. He just needed to explain that he didn't hurt anybody. He didn't break anything. And he thought this would be resolved. And so the FBI came out to talk to him and I had a couple of my brothers there present as witnesses. And they listened to Matt's story and they made it seem like, yeah, it was just a misunderstanding. And they left and Matt called me and I said, you know, I don't like sound the of this. I said, I'm coming home. So I got on a plane and I flew home that week. I said, we need to get you a lawyer. And we did. We got him a lawyer and lo and behold, the FBI showed up and arrested Matt that week while I was there. And they took him in and they processed him and then they let him go. He was not placed in custody. He was told he had to report to somebody if he were to leave the area. And, um, and he was charged with form for misdemeanors, the regular ones, the parading and disorderly conduct. And, um, we met with his attorney. His attorney said, Oh, this is nothing. This is just a slap on the list. You've never been arrested for anything before. Don't worry about it. I've got this. Well, then they slapped 220 of the J fixers with the felony charge of obstruction of an official proceeding. And that's when it got serious. But attorney his was still saying, don't worry. This is, this is nothing. So somebody sent me video that they had of Matt outside of the Capitol at two 55 in the afternoon. says, And I well, that's almost 45 minutes after Congress adjourned. You hadn't even gone inside yet. And so I thought, well, there's your evidence right there. It's right there on video. You didn't go inside. You didn't obstruct anything. So I sent it to his attorney and attorney said, Nope, it doesn't matter. They said he was there. So it was an obstruction and that video isn't going to help. So this was a start of nightmare. a A nightmare watching Matt worry and deteriorate because the newspaper, Facebook, social media, everybody was brutal. They were showing the video from January six that everybody has seen countless times and calling it an insurrection. And that's community turned against him. Um, his business, which he ran through social media, um, was taken away from him. All of his accounts were disabled and it was house anymore. And he would have meetings with his attorney that were, he would have to go into the attorney's office and they they would meet with the judge via zoom because of the whole COVID mess. And they would cancel those meetings at the very last minute, every single time and postpone them. And it would just wear in him. Cause he would prepare himself mentally what he was going to say. And they would say, Oh, it's been canceled. And this went on for quite some time. And, um, Matt was deteriorating something awful. He no longer ran. He was a runner. Um, he gave away his television cause he couldn't stand to see the news anymore with his picture on it. His dad was who is my oldest brother has Parkinson's disease and it was affecting him something awful. And Matt felt felt very guilty about the effect it had on his dad. And as the year was coming to a close, it was almost Christmas. Matt had lost a ton of weight. He was vomiting at this point. And he told his attorney, I just need this to be over. What's the best way for this to be over his attorney said, plead guilty. You're looking at six to 12 months in a federal prison minimum security. And mass is okay. Then that's what I'll do. And Matt was going to, he told me, I'll turn it into a positive. He said, I'll teach my fellow inmates, help them get their GEDs. I'll work on another degree for self at the time that was very intelligent and very giving. So that was settled. And the hearing was scheduled for March the third. And a week before the hearing, Matt called his attorney and he said, I just have a bad feeling. It's just a bad feeling came over me. So that's the day my mother died March the third. And his attorney says, well, Matt, I have bad news. They've postponed your, your hearing again to April fool's day. And the prosecution is looking to add a of sentencing enhancement terrorism. And this could have taken Matt's sentence to nine years in jail. Matt called me on the phone sobbing that day, uncontrollably sobbing, sobbing. I couldn't hardly understand him. He kept telling me he loved me. He kept apologizing to me for losing all of my friends. Cause I lost every friend. I almost, almost everyone I ever had over this. And I told him, don't worry. We're going to get through this together. Don't worry. God's not going to let you go to jail. I promise you this. And he told me he loved me. I told him I loved him. And that And I, I can't tell you the devastation that our family has felt. We're a big Italian family. We're very close. We never had any of our nephews or nieces ever in trouble before. And, um, now that some of this video evidence came out this past week, and it seemed I didn't even know it was on Twitter. Somebody messaged me and said, this looks like your nephew. And there's Matt walking calmly through the Capitol past six Capitol police officers just standing there

Day 8 St. Gertrude the Great Novena Discerning Hearts Catholic Podcasts

"A novena to St. Gertrude the Great Day 8 For the grace of greater devotion to the Sacred Heart St. Gertrude had a great devotion to her beloved patron, St. John the Evangelist. With aid of his gospel and the action of the Holy Spirit, she deeply perceived the unceasing love of Jesus Christ for us, particularly his Sacred Heart, which is an enduring symbol of his divine love and mercy. St. Gertrude's insights laid the groundwork for the devotion that St. Margaret Mary Alicott would later be known for. In the spirit of St. Gertrude, may we present our heartfelt intentions to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, embracing his unfailing love. May she also intercede in the intention we bring to the novena. We now join with St. Gertrude the Great with the prayer she composed for the Holy Souls in Purgatory. Eternal Father, I offer Thee the most precious blood of Thy divine Son, Jesus, in union with the Masses said throughout the world today, for all the holy souls in Purgatory, for sinners everywhere, for sinners in the universal Church, those in my own home and within my family. Amen. St. Gertrude the Great pray for us.

DeSantis on the other hand has said that Newsom ruined his state with his liberal progressive policies and is responsible for the mass exodus of people out of the state of California. A highlight from Ben Stein (Continued)

"Welcome to The Eric Metaxas Show. Have you heard that some people have a nose for news? Well, Eric has a nose for everything. That's why this is called The Show About Everything. Now welcome your host, who definitely passes the smell test, Eric Metaxas. Folks, welcome to hour two. It is my privilege to continue talking to Ben Stein, who has been reminding me of many things that I'd forgotten. First of all, we're talking about his brand new book about Richard Nixon. It's called The Peacemaker. I cannot wait to read it. I'm I would love to do that once I have read it. But I want to tell you, when you just mentioned your role in the film Expelled, I cannot believe I forgot about that, because that is a film that a lot of the people that I'm friends with have been in that film. And it makes the case clear as a bell that there's no way that we got where we are without a creator. You know, you don't have to believe it's the same creator that I do. But the idea of atheism is dead. I wrote a book called This Atheism Dead. I'm going to send you a copy. But I love all that. And I forgot that you were in the film, Expelled. A lot of people listening to this audience saw the film Expelled. And so I want to talk to you about everything. Let's go back to the malfeasance of The New York Times and other former journalists. Sure, sure. They've always been creeps. And as you so aptly said, they were defending Stalin's mass, mass, mass murders. Their columnists, who I think I think it was later revealed was an actual, either an actual member of the Communist Party or was in some way paid by the Communist Party, Mr. Duranty. This is like you're making it up. I'm not making this up. No, we're not making this up, no. But what I'm going to say, because we've talked about on this program, there's a there's a fantastic film about this, about Duranty and the Ukraine famine. It's Mr. Jones, directed by Agnieszka Holland. Tremendous film, came out about four years ago. And it talks about this. I want to get this. Walter Duranty, not only was he, you know, how do you put it? I mean, he was working for The New York Times, living in Moscow. He was openly a Satanist. That sounds like something you'd make up, right? There was there orgies. It's obvious that Stalin was, I've read about this, yeah, was paying him off and so on and so forth. But the point is that he was reporting for The New York Times, won a Pulitzer Prize for this propaganda. They never rescinded the Pulitzer Prize. The New York Times, of course, was behind the 1619 project. So it's it's it's painful to think it's very painful.

American Universities' Disturbing Connections to Nazi Germany

"Universities and colleges doing the same thing all over again. For instance chapter The Third Reich has a long history of atomizing Nazism. Harvard University and the Hitler Regime 1933 to 7 chapter 3 complicity and conflict Columbia University's response to fascism 1937 is very sympathetic to it. Chapter for the Seven sisters colleges in the Third Reich promoting fellowship through student exchange. Chapter 5 a respectful hearing for Nazi Germany's apologists the University of Virginia Institute of Public Affairs roundtables from 1933 to 1941. Chapter Nazi 6 nests German departments and American universities 1933 to 1941 just as we have islamo nazi hamasa and other rats nests throughout a university and college system. and in this book Hitler's American friends American universities did little to curtail the influence of pro -German speakers on campus during the obviously Third Reich. Throughout the decade German exchange students whom were Nazi party members and were likely operating as propaganda agents and other speakers were given mostly unchallenged platforms on university campuses. You see that now with the mass network in the islamo nazis. American universities therefore offer the German government a remarkable level of establishment legitimacy in the United States. Even after the violently anti -semitic nature of the regime had become clear. Just as Hitler's corporate friends had showed little reluctance doing business with the Third Reich his friends in academia maintained their own relationship with Hitler's regime. Both the Nazis and the US government were aware of the propaganda potential provided by American universities. Testifying before the DICE committee John C. Metcalfe argued that the German government had a particular interest in American students. He said the purpose of the exchange students on universities has long been to foster goodwill and peace among the nations resulting greater understanding. But this worthwhile aim has been neglected in the exchange of German students for American. Now American students are being indoctrinated with the aims of fascism in Germany both abroad and at home to the detriment of democratic institutions in America. Some of this rhetoric served as the intellectual precursor in the 1950s, they write, but John McCarthy, but they also say some of it, was legitimate. The Nazis did indeed benefit from a dedicated propaganda network within the American academic establishment. Around the country students and faculty alike increasingly became embroiled in unfolding international tensions as the 1930s progressed. Most often it was the vocally anti -Nazi professors, some of whom were themselves Jewish refugees from Nazi oppression who faced the brunt of administrative repression just as professors Jewish and Gentile professors who speak out now are silenced or threatened

A highlight from Leftism is a Euphemism for Narcissism

"Hi everybody, Dennis and Julie, Dennis Prager and Julie Hartman. What number is this, by the way? I was wondering. I think it's 88. The speed of time. We were just commenting on that right before. 88 is correct. The irony is the wrong word. The interesting aspect of today is that we could speak for four hours. We would need perhaps a bathroom break, and then we would do another four hours. Because that is how much is on my mind, and you have a lot of stuff on your mind. As everyone knows, this Dennis and Julie podcast is not news -driven. We may make reference to something happening, but it's a free -for -all thought life, us. Extravaganza. Extravaganza, that's a good term. But I have to say that the events in Israel have been consuming, and I don't let myself get consumed. I'm very even -tempered, as you well know. I've worked on it all of my life, and I remain even -tempered now. I am watching evil of such magnitude, and vast numbers of people who support that evil. That is more depressing. Right. See, there were no pro -Nazi demonstrations. In the United States. Around the world. During World War II. Around the world. Yeah, exactly. Or even in the 30s. There were Nazis, but there's a tiny element, and they were regarded by mainstream people as morally defective human beings. But here, the announcement that a nation should be destroyed, and you have this mass support for that idea? There was a, it's interesting, there was not a tavern, I'm thinking in British terms, using tavern. Which, by the way, we should acknowledge that we were both in London. Yes, and we will get to that, hopefully, yes. But there was a, was it a diner, or some sort of restaurant in the New York area, I believe it was, and the owner put out pictures of Israeli kids who had been kidnapped. And his entire staff quit. Did you see this story? I did not, no. His entire staff quit, and a certain number of his patrons would not return. And word got out, and now he's doing better business than ever, because so many people are now frequenting his restaurant. But what does that mean? I mean, what was his staff composed of? That putting pictures of kidnapped Israeli kids is morally objectionable, that you quit your job? Well, we saw that at NYU, I believe it was NYU, could have been Columbia, but there was a university where students on their windows put up faces of the hostages, and they were torn down. And there was a video that I saw the other day where a member of the U .S. Women's National Soccer Team was driving in Los Angeles past a pro -Israel protest. She rolled down her window and raised her hand in the hall of Hitler. She was on the team. She's not. Oh, she's not now. Oh, okay. I thought she was now. It's really terrifying to see these people coming out of the woodwork, and they are so unashamed of their anti -Semitism. It means there's not that much stigma. Right. Well, Vivek Ramaswamy, the other night in the third presidential debate, which by the way, shout out to our company, Salem Media Group, for co -hosting, co -moderating that debate. He, and just to give another aside about Vivek, his opening line where he came – did you see this? Where he came after Ronna McDaniel, NBC for peddling the Russia collusion hoax. I was watching that, like cheering him on. That was the best line ever in debate history. Putting that aside, he had a really, I thought, great line too about anti -Semitism where he said that it reflects a greater rot in the society. That's exactly right. You say it with the canary in the mine. Right. That – There are noxious fumes. Yes. And so it shows the moral degradation of the United States of America in general. And how amazing, by the way, because we're supposedly so woke and we're so race -conscious and we're so, you know, people who are oppressed -conscious. And yet the fact that we're seeing this across the board in businesses, universities, individual people who are unashamed to come out with their anti -Semitism, I hope people are finally seeing the light, that this is a morally confused and morally corrupt culture that we're in. So I wrote an article, I looked it up, I didn't remember, 2015, so that would be eight years ago. Oh, was it – is this the Pakistan one? No, that's another one and that's totally worthy of noting. I wrote a piece, let me see if I can see it right now, and it was titled – God, it's really – I want people to read it because I would actually like to read excerpts for a moment on this issue. Let's see if I can here. Well, I didn't think I would be reading from it, so I didn't prepare it and I don't want to waste people's time, but it was an article about – remember when there was a huge influx of Muslims from the Middle East to Europe and the United States? So it was 2015 and I wrote, my heart breaks for a lot of these people, Syrians were being slaughtered en masse and Iraqis and ISIS and Syria, and I wrote, look, they're going to bring into Europe and – it was really about Europe – they're going to bring into Europe not everyone, obviously, but a lot of them will bring anti -Western values with them. People don't come naked, they wear their values, which is inevitable, if I moved somewhere I would bring my values with me.

A highlight from Crypto News Updates: Solana, XRP & ADA Pumping!

"Are we back? Altcoins are pumping, stablecoins are getting an upgrade, and the NFT community is joining hands. I'm Hannah and I'm going to fill you in on this week's events in cryptocurrency. Chainlink is up 34 % this week and the hype surrounding LINK is something to pay attention to in my opinion. The Grayscale Chainlink Trust, GLNK, has been trading at a 200 % premium to the spot price of Chainlink, LINK, indicating strong institutional demand for the cryptocurrency. This is the highest premium that GLNK has ever traded at and it suggests that institutional investors are bullish on the long -term prospects of Chainlink. The fact that GLNK is trading at a premium to the spot price of LINK suggests that there is more demand for shares of the trust than there is for Chainlink tokens themselves. The strong institutional demand for Chainlink is a positive sign for the cryptocurrency overall as it suggests that institutional investors are becoming more and more interested in investing in digital assets. And they think that Chainlink is a valuable one. XRP surged nearly 10 % this week and surpassed Binance Coin BNB to become the fourth largest cryptocurrency by market cap. This pump was likely due to two key announcements from Ripple, including approval to operate in Georgia. The National Bank of Georgia selected Ripple to develop its central bank digital currency or CVDC. This is a major win for Ripple as it shows that governments are increasingly interested in using Ripple's technology. Ripple also received approval to offer its services in Dubai. This is another major win for Ripple as Dubai is a global hub for financial services and crypto. These two announcements show that Ripple's technology is in high demand and this is likely driving the recent surge in XRP's price. Ripple is also facing a number of positive legal developments which is further fueling investor confidence. Overall the outlook for XRP is very bullish at the moment and I think XRP is worth paying attention to. Cardano has also pumped 10 % over the past seven days and this is due to a number of factors including a recent conference, the Cardano Summit, that was held in Dubai. Circle, the issuer of the popular stablecoin USDC, has recently announced a new upgrade to the USDC and EURC smart contract. This upgrade, known as V2 .2, includes a number of improvements that will make USDC and EURC more efficient and user -friendly. One of the most important changes in V2 .2 is the addition of support for EIP -1271. This will allow smart contract wallets to authorize transfers of USDC and EURC which will improve support for account abstraction and make it easier for users to pay network gas fees in USDC and EURC. Another important change in V2 .2 is the optimization of the block listing check. This will make it significantly cheaper to transfer, transfer from, transfer with authorization, receive with authorization, burn, and mint USDC and EURC. These improvements are likely to boost the adoption of USDC and EURC, especially among developers and users of Layer 2 blockchain solutions. The Layer 2s that are used by USDC and USDT, such as Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, and Matic, are likely to be the most relevant. Okay, so how will this impact the further adoption of stablecoins into the geopolitical landscape? This is likely to be accelerated by the improvements in V2 .2. This is because stablecoins offer a number of advantages over traditional fiat currencies, such as speed and efficiency, low cost, and transparency. Overall, the improvements in Circle's USDC V2 .2 upgrade are a positive development for the stablecoin industry, and these improvements are likely to boost the adoption of USDC and EURC, especially among developers and users of Layer 2 blockchain solutions. Elon Musk has said that he wants Grok to have a personality and to be able to interact with users in a fun and engaging way. For example, when asked for a step -by -step guide to making cocaine, Grok responded with a tongue -in -cheek answer that included suggestions such as obtain a chemistry degree and set up a laboratory in a remote location. I've been seeing a lot of screenshots of Grok interactions on my timeline, and it's cracking me up. Grok is still under development, but it has the potential to be a powerful and versatile AI assistant in the future. OpenAI engineers have allegedly come out stating that Grok is mocked in machine learning and AI communities and is analogous to a third -grader CS project. Would you place your bets on Sam Altman's ChatGPT or Elon Musk's Grok? Let me know in the comments below. The Simpsons is a popular animated sitcom that has been running for over 30 years. The show is known for its satire humor and its ability to predict the future. Over the years, the show has made a number of predictions that have come true, including the rise of Donald Trump to the presidency and the COVID -19 pandemic. In their 2023 Halloween special episode, The Simpsons predicted the rise of NFTs. In the episode, Bart Simpson becomes an NFT artist and his creations become incredibly popular. The episode also parodies the NFT community, showing how it can be full of scams and hype. Does this mean that NFTs are about to go parabolic, die, or does it mean nothing at all? Place your bets in the comments below. A highlight from BREAKING: Bitcoin Spot ETF to be Approved Friday!? | EP 866

"It's all going to zero against Bitcoin. It's going up for everyone. Bitcoin! You're against Bitcoin, you're against freedom. Yo, welcome to another episode of Simply Bitcoin Live, you're your number one source for the peaceful Bitcoin revolution covered breaking news, culture, and medic warfare. We will be your guide through the separation of money and state. Today is November 13th, 2023. I hope everyone had an amazing weekend. Breaking news, it seems like the deadline for whether or not the spot Bitcoin ETF will be approved in 2023 is going to be November 17th. It's coming up. It's coming up in a couple of days. What are they going to say? Are they going to approve it? Are they not going to approve it? I definitely think it's going to be one of those things where it's like pump up on the news and then giant sell off, you know, because that's what always happens if you've been in the space for a while. But it's it's absolutely bonkers that we've we've gotten to this point. Now, we've talked a lot about what the downsides and what the upsides of of a Bitcoin spot of a spot Bitcoin ETF are going to be. Obviously, a lot more liquidity going into the market. I definitely believe it will make number go up. But like Caitlin Long said when she came on Simply Bitcoin IRL and Lawrence Lippard, you know, it also risks for for rehypothecation of Bitcoin in the selling of paper Bitcoin. Now, obviously, I don't think it's going to be as easy to do than how they did that in the gold market due to gold's physical characteristics and due to Bitcoin's unique ability of being able to be transported and custody very easily, you know, for pennies on the dollar, you could send it anywhere around the world. You could take self custody of Bitcoin, millions, billions, theoretically trillions of dollars by writing down 12 words, 24 words, not to mention, you know, using multisig if you want to beef up your security setup. So actual the ability for you to take custody of it very quickly and very efficiently, I think is going to protect it from what they did to gold. But that's not to say that they're not going to try. Like I think the long term play here based on the FinCEN, you know, what's going on with FinCEN, which we're going to talk about tomorrow, how they're demonizing mixing services. But the things are so broad that it's like a single use address counts as of some type of mixing. And then the words are what I would call the Freudian slip from Elizabeth Warren, basically finally saying the quiet part out loud because Bitcoin exposes all incentives after all, finally admitting that, you know, self custody is some type of this highly sophisticated way of money laundering, of skirting regulations. Right. Like and of course, they're planting the seed. That's why they come up with these words, unhosted wallet, you know, custody wallet, non custodial wallet. Right. They're trying to plant the seeds in the uninformed populace that somehow self custody is dangerous. Well, the reason they're doing that is because self custody is the revolution. And if enough people take self custody will win and there's nothing they can do about it. So it's pretty crazy that the that the date to come is on Friday. But again, all of this would be rumors. All of this would be a big nothing burger. But actually, the CEO of Grayscale, which is one of those companies they hold up, not only do they hold an F ton of Bitcoin, but it's also one of those companies that have applied to file a spot Bitcoin ETF, has been hinting at some things on Twitter. He tweeted it out very, very early this morning before right before eight a .m. Eastern Time. So, I mean, it looks like. There could be a potential approval of a spot Bitcoin ETF on Friday. And if it was one, it wouldn't just be just one approved. There'd be multiple spot Bitcoin ETFs approved. Right. So that's what's going on right now. That's the breaking news. We're going to cover it like always. We're going to analyze it. We're going to show you guys all the details. We're going to make the case like we always do. Anyways, no more delay. I want to bring up my legendary co -host, always optimistic, already smiling, giant smile. The chat's on point. The chat is losing their mind today. It's totally irrelevant to the conversation. Don't go look in the chat. It's probably inappropriate for you guys at work. But yeah, chat's undefeated over here. They're cracking me up. Anyways, yeah, Nico, what a crazy weekend. And it really just goes to show what we've been talking about on the show for months now that we are in the then they fight you stage. This is the separation of money and state and things are getting frothy, not only the price, but everything going on around Bitcoin is starting to become a point of contention. I think we've been talking about this all year, that the stance on Bitcoin from any quote unquote authority figure is the defining conversation right now. Of course, this was all going on behind the scenes and now it's becoming public and it's all happening publicly. And this is why I think there is so much uproar about it all, because now finally, everything from behind the scenes is being made public and being brought to light. So I think it's more important than ever to do what we always tell you guys to make sure that your Bitcoin is in cold storage, that you don't have Bitcoin on exchanges, that you are huddling them Bitcoin because we know that they don't want us to be in the escape route. We've said it before. You know, they don't want an exit route. And Bitcoin is that exit route. And we've been telling you guys constantly the on and off ramps are the chokeholds, like we've known this for a while and now it's heating up. So hopefully we can move forward. Hopefully there will be pushback. And as an individual, if you're on the Bitcoin standard, the Bitcoin circular economy already, what's this mean to you? Just some roller coaster rides and part of the Bitcoin fund. So we'll get a wine. All right. I'm getting trolled. I'm getting trolled. Go. That's another thing to kind of bring up. And we'll bring up the latest development on the FinCEN and stuff that happened over the weekend. We'll cover that on tomorrow's episode. But one thing's for sure, guys, we say this in the beginning of the show. It is our motto. We'll be your guide to the separation of money and state. We are definitely entering the Then They Fight You stage. That's for sure. You have to take action. Get involved. Don't be just a bystander looking at what's happening. Get involved. And unfortunately, I think over the long term, I do agree with the theory from the book The Sovereign Individual, where information technologies and the ability for individuals to opt out, opt into whatever money they choose to use is going to make politics irrelevant over the long term. I completely agree with that. But what worries me and what keeps me up at night is the transitional period. And during the transitional period, I do think that politics are somewhat important. I do think that they can make life very, very difficult for you if you are holding Bitcoin and you live in a certain jurisdiction. So unless you want to keep moving from place to place, to place and place, it's important that you get involved, right? Whether that is making memes, commenting, making videos, just highlighting the lies and the misrepresentations, like what happened with Elizabeth Warren in the Wall Street Journal a couple of weeks ago. The more attention we call to that, the better we position ourselves, right? And the key is to win over the adoption race. We have to orange pill as many people as humanly possible, as quickly as possible, so that there's enough people holding Bitcoin in the US that if any politician tries to recommend anti -Bitcoin legislation, it becomes unpassable. And then the example that I would give to this would be the gun lobby, right? Any time you tried to pass a gun law in the United States, because so many people own guns, it just becomes impossible to pass, right? Hopefully we get to that much Bitcoin adoption in the United States very quickly, that any type of Elizabeth Warren type of regulation, any type of maneuvering and scheming just gets shut down just because it's so unpopular with everybody. But we're not we're not quite there yet. Bitcoin right now is still in the shadows. Like that's the reality. Like people know about Bitcoin. People know about crypto. They know about these things. They still think crypto and Bitcoin are the same thing. But it really comes down to us to really educate the masses. And I'm not talking about just me and Opti. I'm talking about everyone in the chat. Take it upon yourself. Take agency, take action. Orange pill as many people around you. Right. This is all about the individual pushing this forward. That's how we win. We win over the hearts and minds of people. It's not left versus right. That's the divide and conquer strategy. It's really the party of orange, party of peace, Bitcoin, opportunity, prosperity, versus a party of green, which is a party which is the future they want us living in, which is a party of central bank digital currencies, nihilism, slavery, confiscation, all of that bad stuff. So you got to decide what future do you want your children to be living in? I want my children to be living in a Bitcoin future. Well, we got to stand up and stand up for your right. Anyways, everybody, let's let's move on to the numbers. Yeah, I know, right. It's a good line. It's a good line. All right, everybody, let's move on to the numbers. We got a lot to talk about. Let's check it out.

"Day 7, For the Grace of a Greater Love of the Holy Eucharist. St. Gertrude embraced the Mass as a profound encounter with Christ's redemptive suffering. Let us reflect on this prayer that she composed. Through this Mass, I offer you in reparation, loving Father, all the sufferings of your son, from his first cry in the manger to his last breath on the cross. In my humble state, I praise and adore your mercy. Amen. Let us ask St. Gertrude to intercede for us as we seek to unite our own joys and sorrows with a Eucharistic sacrifice. May this act of communion inspire us to live out each day in accordance with God's loving plan for our lives.

"A novena to St. Gertrude the Great. Day 6 For the Grace of Holy Recollection St. Gertrude cherished the scene of the shepherds in a quiet awe as they discovered the infant Jesus, cradled in the humble stable by Mary and Joseph. This tender image served as her daily reminder to remain conscious of God's intimate presence and to observe her emotions as carefully as a shepherd tends their flock. Let us ask St. Gertrude to intercede for us that we might receive the grace to keep our hearts attuned to the gentle movements of the Holy Spirit and to the loving encounters we experience throughout our day. May she also intercede in the intention we bring to this novena. We now join with St. Gertrude the Great with the prayer she composed for the Holy Souls in Purgatory. "A novena to St. Gertrude the Great. Day 5. For the grace of compassion, especially for the holy souls in purgatory. St. Gertrude was given a vision by Jesus of a golden table adorned with luminous pearls, each representing a prayer for the holy souls in purgatory. Let us join our prayers to this offering, trusting in God's infinite and divine mercy. May St. Gertrude aid us in lifting our prayers for the holy souls, enveloping them in the love and compassion of Christ. May she also intercede for us for the intention we bring to this novena. "What's up everybody? This is Carrick with ACG and I'm here with Silver and Johnny, No Abzi and Khadiz for the Best Gaming Podcast number 425. If you get a chance tweet out that we're doing this we're gonna be talking about Modern Warfare 3's reviews. We're gonna be talking about WB's service games, GTA maybe. We're gonna be talking about Steam Deck 1 .2 .000 Upgrade AQB. I have no clue what it's called but it is the weirdest upgrade I think I've ever seen on a handheld system. We're gonna be talking about Red Dead and its sales. Johnny's played some Yakuza. We'll see what Silver and Khadiz have been playing. We're gonna talk about Fallout 4's Inevitable remake. I'm just joking. But Fallout 4's eight year, eight years. Does Fallout 4 seem older than that? Because Red Dead is five. Yeah, you know what I mean? Yeah, Red Dead is five. It's feeling like it's almost due for like a, you know, anniversary edition or re -release like a Skyrim release. Special edition. Special compressed audio edition. Oh my god that's a deep cut. Wow and they did they did release the like 4k texture packs I think. Oh did they? I know and one of them had like the, you know, the upgraded FPS boost which I think is awesome. If you want your mods to work you need to get this version edition. A secret edition of or secret. It should be secret because it sucked but the special edition of Skyrim was that way. It's just all over the place. I had issues with audio and then like certain executables wouldn't work. I think they got it fixed up but it's just one of those things. What's everybody in chat playing right now? What are the games? Looks like some people are playing Modern Warfare. Live Carrick's the best Carrick. Well, that is a super low bar. That is a ridiculously low bar. Conscious, somewhat alive breathing Carrick is the best Carrick. Yeah, I don't know if all my family would agree. Groggy Carrick. Yeah, I've been playing Starfield on the ROG Ally. Do you guys call it R -O -G or ROG? ROG. I typically just say R -O -G. I don't know but anybody and I had occasionally I'll hear ROG. You're a fucking hipster, man. Come on, ROG. I'm just joking. I've never quite known exactly what it's supposed to be but I do. I also, you know. Yeah, I think it's like GIF and GIF. One sounds more correct than the other to different people but it's like. Isn't it Republic of Gamers is what it's supposed to look like. It's an acronym or something for ROG. Yeah, Republic of Gamers, so they think it's the actual brand name. As dumb as that is, I think actually just having ROG by itself is a better version of that. That's like one time I gave some money to Dr. Disrespect on Twitch. He was doing something hilarious and I was like dude this deserves a little bit of money. I gave him some and he pronounced it a cog or you know like a game and I was like that's so true. It's so true like you could see that and immediately think of it. Someone choking on a peanut rig rundown. Yeah, these are all my guitars. This is all my setup. Those are Johnny's. My setup's better. There's a guy in one of my backgrounds but he's not there this time because somebody asked me if I was paying that dude in the background and I didn't realize there's a guy in the background. He's the self -producer. Yeah, totally. Yeah, that's exactly it. He's the video editor. He's just editing. Yep, he's back there editing. I mean you can tell dude how good my edits are, right? Like if you saw the last time on ACG prior to this video starting, I mean you know that my edits there might be no better edits. Honestly, you give yourself shit but dude like in reviews I'm always like did this man really dig up the specific video footage for what he's commenting right now? Well, I appreciate you getting it because I do do that but most people are like what's he talking about? I'm like you damn like that missed them you know like that complete I'll be talking about something in the background. You hope the reference lands before it's wine. Yeah, exactly. Yeah, it's just it's a little bit like wine tasting where some people are like this is just not for me. That's ACG in a nutshell. That's all of us. That's why we're like people are also playing Tales of Arise. There's a DLC that dropped, right? Oh, okay. What is it? I mean what's the what's the nine? I know nothing about it. ACG best gaming podcast. Let's talk about. You have been informed. It's out. That's as far as did you guys hear about the Steam Deck? Yeah, I think that's a handheld. So anyway about what we were talking and walking and doing on the on the background. What about you Silver? What have you been playing because you didn't get to come to last Friday's? What what's the game? I'm kind of still trying to get into Alan Wake 2 and I hate it because my brain kind of won't let me because I can't I can't for some reason get beyond the sound of like Sagas footsteps in that game where it sounds like she has soggy shoes. Yeah, so it completely undercuts like any tension like oh no, it's dark and people are hunting me and then I hear like wouldn't it be scarier if you were in that but also having to like deal with soggy shoes. That would be scary. Yeah, it would be except then I would then I would hear like the sound of my my actual you're just utterly distracted by the soggin before which is unintentionally funny.

"A novena to St. Gertrude the Great. Day Four For the Grace of Right Intention St. Gertrude asked Jesus for fewer distractions in her days to have more time for prayer. The Lord answered her, If I took pleasure only in spiritual exercises, I would have reformed human nature after Adam's fall, so that it would not need food, clothing, or other things. I require only that your will be directed to me with a right intention. St. Gertrude mastered the Benedictine call to balance the active and contemplative life. Her dialogue with the Lord teaches us that sanctity lies not in task, but in intention. We pray for her guidance to discern daily God's will. May she also intercede for the intention we bring to this novena. We now join with St. Gertrude the Great with the prayer she composed for the Holy Souls in Purgatory. "Hello everybody, I'm Dennis Prager, brother mass murderer in the United States. In Maine, man who's she's still on the loose is that the latest they know who he is and murdered 18 people injured I don't like wounded wounded is, you know, sounds too mild 22. Excuse me 18 it was originally I read 22 human being murdered 18 people randomly are there any gun laws that would have stopped him that's I always ask that when people immediately go to guns they say he's mentally ill he was in a mental institution until recently I don't know I don't know what to tell you I hate that because I really like to tell you I like to explain life I like to give you theories that are plausible is there is there some uptick in mental illness in this country if so why is it the processed food they're eating and within mental illness how many mentally ill people yearn to murder as many people as possible do they know it's wrong it does mental illness preclude you from knowing that it is wrong if this guy whom I would personally execute if the call came out for volunteers to execute a person I would volunteer I passionately rationally morally believe in capital punishment for murder a society that treats murderers gently is a society that has lost its ability to be shocked by the worst crime murder I just finished literally last night I finished the fourth of the five book commentary on the Torah the first five books of the Bible my rational Bible now it goes to editor after editor after editor so that there is not even a hope for not often there's no hope not even a chance although that still is not perfect of any errors and there is a law that if you kill somebody well obviously if you kill somebody premeditated Lee you're put to death it's the only law in all five books of the Bible but what does the Bible know we're much wiser we keep all murderers alive and think we're moral giants for doing so I don't anyway if you killed somebody and it was any at all negligent you went to a city of refuge so that would be a good example is the drunk driver negligence wasn't deliberate it wasn't premeditated didn't even know his victims or her victims but still something who said one death is a tragedy a million is a statistic everybody one thing that I think unites left and right and almost nothing unites left and right is horror at this mass shooting but we have different reactions guns is the primary reaction on the left I don't know why he did it it is obvious if he were mentally ill to the point of where we could relate to understanding the term he he wouldn't be fleeing I it's an odd thing you're mentally ill enough to murder men women and children in a bowling was it a bowling alley but you're you're not that mentally ill that you figure out how to at least for days evade the police so there's some there's some degree of our choosing what mental illness is yeah I don't I don't know that murdering people is wrong but I do know that I don't want to get caught okay then that's look it's possible and again I asked why is there an uptick in mental illness I'll tell you what there is an uptick in and I think it is related to the number of mass shootings but it may not be I I just offer this for conjecture this is a society that is embracing chaos so the mentally fragile in a chaotic society will act chaotically did this man have any social bond was he married do you know that we know there's no mention of a wife right right George Gilder in a book that I have been actually advertising recently what is the new title men in marriage yeah so I read it in high school the original edition sexual suicide and naked nomads to two different books and he pointed out he said the thing the one thing that murderers virtually all have in common is that they're single but they're male and they're single the largest percentage of men and women at age 40 that have never been who have never been married are living in America today the largest percentage ever recorded of never married think that's a factor think never Church is a factor or is it all mental illness people will not mentally ill in the 1930s and 40s you know that people were happier I was I read this to you the data there was less suicide and less depression during the depression than today these people had bonds there was no chaos raining around them in their lives this chaos the left creates chaos it loves it because their inner life and conscience are chaotic so chaos breeds chaos that's my take mental illness alone just it doesn't do it for me maybe it is I'd like to know if the man was on many medicines I'm not against psychiatric drugs I'm also less inclined to think that they have no ill effects then I once was well it's certainly part of the 20th century and there was so little of this my heart breaks for these people I know that many of you differ with me I believe God made a world in which randomness or luck if you will does play a role I don't think God chose every one of those 18 to die if you don't believe there's any luck in life that's your belief I respect you I I find the belief untenable I believe there's an afterlife where things are worked out and some divine justice but as far as this life is concerned those poor souls whereas they say in the wrong place at the wrong time we return one eight Prager seven seven six the Dennis Prager shop gold dealers are a dime a dozen they're federal.com alright can you please play Mike Johnson the new newly elected Speaker of the House I call them the seven core principles of American conservatism but let me concede to you all I think it's really quintessentially the core principles of our nation I bow them down to individual freedom limited government the rule of law peace through strength fiscal responsibility free markets and human dignity those those are the foundations that made us the extraordinary nation that we are and you and I today are the stewards of those principles the things that have made us the freest most powerful most successful nation in the history of the world the things that have made us truly exceptional yeah so what's what's bad about that the left hates that here are our principles all we need to do is live by them and we'll have a reign of peace in America but they hate it this is the way the New York Times attacks him new house speaker champions fossil fuels and dismisses climate concerns that's the headline by the way that that alone means that he actually thinks and is not a left-wing robot or in this case even a liberal robot the robotic responses take a vaccine of course why why would you take it because the CBC said so why would you do X Y or Z with regard and have society spend trillions of dollars completely wasted on batteries and the like and funding China which is the maker of so many of these car batteries for the same reason you believed in the COVID vaccine you were told so science says I follow science that's what they believe so all the scientists who say you know what there's no reason to panic over global warming it may we may get we be we may be getting warmer but there's no reason to panic and change the entire economy of the world and crush people's and make the dollar worthless or moving in the direction of it no no no I am a liberal or a leftist and I believe my government that's it I believe my government that is the motto of people on the left they don't know a damn thing about fossil fuels or about fracking they don't know a damn thing about nuclear power which could solve the whole problem and proves that they don't want to solve the problem they want to restructure the Western world that's what the New York Times and the others are about fundamentally or five days away from fundamentally transforming our country that's what Barack Obama said before he was elected it's a fascinating thing the left admits they want to fundamentally transform something that is fundamentally good isn't that a bad isn't the fundamental transformation of something fundamentally good bad it's like two minuses equals a plus representative Mike Johnson comes from Louisiana oil country and has said he does not believe burning fossil fuels is changing the climate I would like to see the actual quote so rarely I'm crying that's what they do to me all the time Dennis Prager says but they never give a source it's a fascinating thing almost never representative Mike Johnson of Louisiana the newly elected House Speaker has questioned climate science no if anything he has questioned climate scientists in the New York Times if you if you question vaccine the vaccine or any vaccine your you are what is the word they use questioning science you can't question science oh my god the thought of questioning science opposed clean energy of the language is opposing clean energy carbon dioxide is dirty and received more campaign contributions from oil and gas companies than from any other industry last year so it's interesting that's what they say about Prager U funded by oil companies I have no idea any oil company that has funded us a a fracking organization fracking is not the same thing as an oil company fracking is a very much cleaner if you want to use the term way of extracting energy from the earth and the reason that they did fund us and I would say two percent of what we have raised comes from them but but the New York Times and others just claim Prager U is funded by by energy companies I would be very happy if they did but it's just it's true but they don't never tell you what percentage of the money we've raised comes from them it's about two percent if we never got ten cents from them we would be the same Prager you were very grateful for what was given at an early stage I please understand that but we existed before that and we exist after that this is the way they write it as if the reason we have videos that offer a different way of looking at the energy issue is because we're funded but it's the opposite we're funded because we had the videos and because of other values even as other Republican lawmakers increasingly accept the overwhelming scientific consensus that human activity is dangerously healing the planet the unanimous election of mr. Johnson on Wednesday suggests that his views may not be out of step with the rest of his party well it's one reason to vote Republican indeed surveys show the climate science has been politicized in the United States to an extent not experienced in most other countries because we have a vibrant conservative movement in America the fact that they began closing farms in one of the most food producing countries in the world the Netherlands it is proof that this statement is right but that did energized the Dutch they did start fighting back we'll be back wanted to think about this we have a 100% volunteer military men and women who raise their hands to sacrifice for this country and when they're done serving they come back to this tight job market and outrageous cost of living expenses that's why a private company I'm happy to tell you like pure talk has jumped in to help and all you have to do is switch your cell phone company to pure talk superior service and they'll donate a portion to alleviating 10 million dollars in veteran debt by Veterans Day after one week they're 50% of the way there but they need your help you sacrifice nothing in fact you'll probably be saving a fortune because pure talks plans start at just $20 a month offering unlimited text unlimited talk more data and a mobile hotspot just dial pound 250 and say the key word Dennis Prager to make the switch the pound two five zero and say Dennis Prager to switch to pure talk today hi everybody Dennis Prager here very important book has just been published by a great imprint bombardier books I know them well the diversity con what a great title the secrets and lies behind the shady DEI industry two authors David Johnson and Kent Hecken lively wrote it I have David Johnson on the line and you can see him at Salem news channel and they the forward was written by someone named Dennis Prager I have to check him out heard good things about him I heard a lot of good things about Dennis Prager too yeah but I want you to know there are a lot of bad things to be heard about Dennis Prager if you read the mainstream media anyway congratulations on the book when did it come out I came out about three weeks ago what prompted you to write it I was an engineer working with Hasbro and in my time there they brought all the engineers and some of the other departments into a meeting to tell us how they wanted to start designing the products packaging and marketing with critical race theory in mind and critical gender theory and it's something I've been following through alternative media for a few years but when they when that came to my place of work and they wanted me to participate in what I consider vile indoctrination I just had to take a stand and I brought that story to project Veritas and then that story went nationwide and following that I decided that more people need to understand this ideology and the best way I could think to do that was to write a book and go into in depth on how this praxis is performed in companies and schools did you end up going to one of these re-education sessions at your place of work were you able to avoid it I was not I was fairly new at the time and it was mandatory for me so I did sit through the entire about an hour-long presentation and then in the process of writing this book I went through several more several more several I am an expert on DEI now so here is a question I ponder a lot how many people at at an hour at any random business sit through this and think wow she's right it's usually a she she's right so a by the way was it a she the present the presenters through the original one it was a man and a woman but the woman was leading it right it's almost always the case but in any event how many people maybe it's not knowable the answer how many people at an average business think I gotta sit here but this is nonsense I would guess a fairly high percentage obviously depending on the region of the country that you're in I think most people just go along with it because one standing up against something that your company is promoting is a really good way to not work at that company anymore and a lot of people are probably seeing the social pressures from people who do stand up and think that they don't want any part of it did so what did you do I did the exact opposite I've never been one to kind of go with the crowd and I just thought even if I lost my job at Hasbro which I did that it was far more important to get this information to the public and especially to the parents that they were trying to subvert now where does the parents part come in because you were this was not at a school that you got this DEI lecture no this was that when I was working with Hasbro so their goal was to through the the packaging and marketing to introduce racial ideology and gender ideology in a manner that the parents would not notice it but influence the children and then as a result of influencing the children it would also influence the parents and sort of a backwards manner but it was just it was subversive and I that's the part that I found the most troubling it's one thing if you were to go to parents and say hey we want your children to start thinking in terms of racial and gender lines we want them to start judging people based on race and if you go to someone and tell them that they're probably going to reject you because most Americans are not racist people but to do it through the sub that subversive and covert manner that is very typical and it is the intended alright alright hold on one second the book is the diversity con really important up at Dennis Prager calm Mike Lindell is a passion to help you get the best sleep of your life he didn't stop at the pillow Prager hello everybody Dennis Prager here welcome to the show I want to take some calls here at least if they're still on because last hour produced interesting calls so I'll get to you hopefully brief note again about the mass murder in Maine the the issue of guns has really for me one question and the question is what law could be passed to have prevented these murders see the the left there's really only one thing other than destroying good institutions they're good at and that is smearing their opponents they're really really good so they I think a lot of leftists believe that we care less about innocence being murdered than they do it's an amazing thing but I they really believe that the belief because they don't judge actions they judge intentions and they they are convinced their intentions are pure that is how people supported communism in the West they judge the intentions of communism and not its mass murdering mass and enslavement action in real life the left judges intentions part of its stupidity communists mean well they a world of equality equity we're all comrade comrade Stalin he's no higher than anybody else the fact that he led 20 to 40 million innocent people to death the fact that he made a pact with Hitler which enabled World War Two to take place nobody even knows that I'll bet you that the number of seniors at Harvard who know that Hitler's made a pact with Stalin is in single digits including history majors they know nothing it doesn't matter what college they know a lot about often arcane matters but not about what matters so I would like to know since I am very troubled by this it breaks my heart the people who were killed murdered should not use the word killed in Maine by a sick bad person there are sick not bad people there are sick bad people he should be executed even if he's mentally ill there is an incredible law in the greatest books ever written the Torah that is the solution to evil it's why I have spent decades working on my commentary I have one more volume to go Genesis is out Exodus is out Deuteronomy is out numbers was finished last night and Leviticus is left that thank you that is the antidote to evil the Torah it is the foundational document of both the Old and New Testaments so they have an interesting law there if God hates anything it's murder it's after the flood destroys the world God gives the Noah and his offspring a handful of laws to make a decent world one of them is that man not God will execute those who murder it is foundational you have if you are anti capital punishment you are stating certainly you're right to do so I'm right and the Bible's wrong not only wrong in one verse it has that law in all five books the only law in all five books of the Torah is to execute murderers so I was talking about what if this man is mentally ill should he be executed my answer is yes first of all it's an insult to the mentally ill to even hold they don't know that murdering children is wrong they don't know this really I'm very curious they don't know that I don't believe that he knows it enough to be fleeing the police why does he think the police are chasing him because he did a good act he hears voices in his head we have been told he might it doesn't matter and why did I cite the Torah it's an interesting law in the Torah that if an ox gores a man to death obviously a woman as well if an ox gores a human to death the ox is put down the ox is killed but it's not because the ox is punished and there are people who would say why why do you take it out of the ox doesn't know like this man the ox and this man I am told are the same the ox doesn't know killing a human is wrong and this man doesn't know killing a human is wrong and I believe that the law in the Torah that you kill an ox that killed a person is there to say it is not relevant to the to the fact that a human was killed that is it's the most serious thing you can have is the taking of innocent life we don't believe that misgendering provokes far more anger on parts of the left but that's why an ox is killed it took an innocent human life so a mentally ill person who does this is would be equivalent in that sense to an ox the ox doesn't know it's wrong he doesn't know it's wrong sorry if you are such a moral level that you don't know that murdering children is wrong then you have lost the right to live somehow or other a monster is amongst us would you not call someone who murders children a monster what would you call them okay well we don't differ on the tragedy would differ on I think the seriousness perhaps I don't I don't know certainly what to do to the person anti-capital punishment is so weird the Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin was assassinated years ago Israel doesn't have the death penalty except from Nazi mass murderers like guys well not like I think there were two cases that they executed someone and they didn't Israel they even allowed him to get married in prison it's disgusting he certainly wasn't mentally ill he was morally ill that's a different story but it's not gonna happen the defense will be by the way why won't the defense be not guilty by reason of insanity maybe the guy will murder 18 people and be found not guilty right doctor in Connecticut years ago his home was invaded his the girls were tied up doused with gasoline and the house was set on fire his family was sadistically murdered why are the murderers alive does that not bother even if it doesn't bother an opponent of capital punishment I mean they may have other arguments might execute the wrong person and so on but does it not if it doesn't bother you that they're alive the people who did this to this doctor's family you and I have different hearts and different minds and different consciences it's a pretty big gap one a Prager 776 I'm Dennis Prager when the government used emergency edicts during COVID to restrict the gathering and worship of churches three pastors facing the risk of imprisonment unlimited fines and their own churches being ripped apart took a courageous stand and reopened their doors and the face of a world that chose to comply the essential church is a feature-length documentary that explores the struggle between the church and government throughout history this fascinating story uncovers those who sacrificed their lives throughout history for what they truly believe in we discover why the church is essential and how we prove that this stand remains true from a scientific legal and most importantly biblical perspective this is not your typical movie it'll change your life you need to see this movie with your friends and family the essential church is streaming today exclusively at Salem now.com that's essential church streaming at Salem now.com okay let's see what you have to say here okay Columbus Ohio they still they're trying to name it indigenous Ohio but still Columbus hello hi hi yeah I have to disagree with you on this because your analogy of the ox killing a human being the ox will remain in the barnyard after he's killed or gored a human being this person this murderer in Maine is on the run he knows what he's done is wrong he's on the run where do we differ that's that was my whole point well you know those no no okay I understand I understand forgive me and I'm not I'm not letting you go so let me clarify if I wasn't clear it's my fault okay I my whole opening was of course he knows it's wrong if you asked him is it right to murder children he wouldn't say of course it's right and he's fleeing the police is he fleeing the police in his mind because he did something good because he was jaywalking so to those who say however that he's mentally ill that's to whom I was addressing my comments a he is then indistinguishable from the ox that gores a human and I said the Torah says that's the first five books of the Bible if an ox gores a human and kills him it's to be put to death so I use that analogy to say even if he does even if he doesn't know what he did like an ox doesn't he should still be put to death that was my argument okay well I agree on that I know and I hope that I hope that he's put to death today by an officer or by an armed citizen defending himself I hope he doesn't commit suicide I hope he is put to death by you know a good guy whether it's a right foreign policeman or a citizen I'm with you my friend 100 with you and I knew it as soon as you started talking my I was addressing those who say oh he doesn't know what he did and then I said yeah but the Bible teaches an ox which doesn't know what it did is put to death so that was the analogy there I'm glad I took your call because if you didn't if I was not clear to you I was probably not clear to some others as well okay let's see here El Segundo California Mike hello hello Dennis thank you for your wonderful show we've seen over many many of these mass murders and school shootings even going back to the January 1989 shooting in Stockton California by Patrick Purdy at Cleveland Elementary School that the investigation determined that the mass murderers did the mass murder because they wanted to become famous they knew the news media would make them famous because the news media does that in their agenda to campaign and lobby to ban guns from law-abiding Americans and that's why some of these murderers use the ar-15 rifle because they know if they use say a 12-gauge shotgun which could do the same job that they won't get as much news media coverage that's an interesting point I never thought of that so the news one minute one minute Sean will you visit Mike and El Segundo and give him a cigar all right you've you've earned it that was an that was an original point thank you thank you and the news media creates the problem or so-called crisis and then exploits the crisis because they never want to let a crisis go to waste to lobby for the genocidal truly genocidal policies of gun control which are actually modeled after Nazi Germany's three-step gun control program to first register the guns and then to right all right okay so hold okay I wouldn't I wouldn't say they're genocidal the Australia is banned them to a large extent it's they're not having genocide there it depends who who's doing the banning I would say however that I have no trust in American authorities at this time I have my view of the institutions of my country has changed 180 degrees I have contempt for my government it is it is not my friend it is not decent it is filled with indecent people it is filled with they're not indecent with nothing bureaucrats who will do anything they're told just as in a fascist or communist society it is bigger and bigger big government is always destructive always does it do any good what government did not do any good Stalin electrified the Soviet Union Hitler built the Autobahn and the Volkswagen there's no such thing it's not possible to do no good I'm sure the Iranian regime has done some good in Iran I can't think of anything off hand but it's almost impossible not to do any good if you have that much power big government is a curse all genocides were created by big government except for the Hutus against the Tutsis every single one and the left believes bigger and bigger government one of the reasons is gives them power that's the biggest but there's another reason they have more people voting for them right if you're a government bureaucrat you're gonna vote Republican you may get fired conservatives want to abolish the Department of Education probably half the problem let's put it this way education in America has only deteriorated since the Department of Education was created everyone listening know this to be true even on a lie detector the editors of the New York Times would acknowledge it's true but they would have to be put on a lie detector question has American education deteriorated or improved since the Department of Education was created okay if that is not a perfect illustration of big government only does harm there is no persuading the unpersuadable I believe no I I don't believe I know that the best investment you could make is to simply watch the 10 or 15 videos 20 really we're up to 20 on the Middle East that's great everyone is a masterpiece and I mean it you will they're all five minutes so it's it's not exactly a challenge to your time this is a really important thing that PragerU has done there's a gentleman on now who's made two of those videos David Brog David Brog is the head I think you're not only the head you're the founder is that correct I would say Sheldon and Miri Adelson were the founders but I they asked me to run it and okay that's fair yes that's right yes you you are the first and only director of it that's correct and the purpose of this group is it's generally directed to college students is that correct correct just college campuses just undergraduates and if you know folks what's it is now hostile to Jewish students and it is very hostile of course to Israel those two are connected in other words if you if you are look if you are pro Hamas it is indistinguishable from having been pro-nazi in the 30s and 40s of the night of the 1900s and yet campuses are filled with such groups and he is trying to combat this with his group what is the official name the Maccabees or is there is it longer than that the Maccabee task force Maccabee task force okay excellent where you what do you do you again you send young people including anti-israel young people to Israel is that correct yeah we basically our mission was to try to go in and combat the demonization and delegitimization of Israel on campus which has been a problem for for a couple of decades although we saw in the last week just how deep and severe and horrific a problem that actually is so our mission was to go and change hearts and minds and we tried through various means to do it the problem we found is that that people who dominate campus politics on the woke left live in a silo where the social media they consume the media they consume the professors professors to whom they listen all share a view of Israel an anti-israel narrative completely at odds with reality but one that motivates them to hate Israel and we tried to find an intervention that could reach into that ideological silo and get people to see the reality of Israel and the intervention we found that works is unfortunately a very expensive intervention it is to bring them to Israel and the Palestinian authority and let them see it for themselves the reality for themselves and it's the only way to get them to actually see the reality and the good news is the reality of Israel even on a bad trip is so much at odds with the anti-israel narrative that dominates this silo that the trip changes those who go on it more than I ever would have expected and we only bring people who dominate campus politics which means we only bring people from the center left through the far left most of the people we bring express views that are anti-israel skeptical if not hostile to Israel before they go almost all of them express sympathy upon their return why do they go if they're anti-israel because it's a free trip to see an interesting region of the world and we made this concession we show them both sides we take them we spend our money to take them to the Palestinian authority to hear the anti-israel narrative once again they've heard it often on campus we take them to hear it once again from Palestinian leaders but it's important because otherwise the very people we most need to see the reality would not agree to go see the reality because they'd be afraid somehow they would only hear one side I should add Dennis this was a concession to reality but I find that day or two in the Palestinian authority to be extraordinarily effective because we need to shatter two myths when we bring students to Israel myth number one that Israel is a racist apartheid country you know bent on dispossessing and harming Palestinians and that myth is shattered by me seeing Israel walking down the streets of this multicultural multiracial open society and meeting Israelis who hunger for peace but we have to shatter a second myth myth number two that the Palestinians are just a race of Martin Luther King Jr's Gandhi's sitting and praying peacefully for the day when Israel will take their boot off of their neck and the visit to the PA opens their eyes to the fact that that is not the reality these Palestinian leaders will defend terror they they will not condemn things like what happened the massacre of two weeks ago and and and they will and they will express often their views of Jews not just Israelis in a way that is very eye-opening for American students god is that valuable what you're doing oh my god so I I this wasn't even in my mind and it certainly wasn't in your mind do do people contribute or or how do you fund your work uh mactaskforce.org m-a-c taskforce.org short for macab taskforce.org we welcome donations we need donations um when we are able to do our program on a campus we invest a lot of money in the campus to do what we do costs 140 000 per campus we were on 100 campuses last year we try to go to the worst the ones the ones that are most well wait a minute wait a minute here's the first moment that I may differ with David Brog ladies and gentlemen it is impossible to find the worst campus there are thousands tied for that title fair fair point and so and so it is a combo you're right it is a combination of prestige which in itself can be a negative uh-huh well yeah that's right you went to a prestigious where did you go again Princeton Princeton undergrad Harvard for law oh my god so let me ask you in light of that to switch here I think it's incredible what you guys at Maccabee are doing really it's so it's so everything thank you so do you sense that alumni are getting disenchanted with the Princeton's and Harvard's of our country or is this a passing phase unclear I definitely sense that this is a this is a moment when people are finally waking up to what you've been saying for years and I've been saying for years that the woke left is a threat to everything we hold dear you know it's it's a threat to our ally Israel it's a threat to our freedoms as religious people in America it's it's a threat to the meritocracy that has enabled our success in America and I think a lot of people have nodded and listened and said we are exaggerating it's not that bad when you see these same woke students marching after a brutal massacre over a thousand Israelis and they're marching not in solidarity with the victims but but in support of the perpetrators a lot of people are waking up and saying wow this is more threatening more dangerous more ugly than we ever realized and they want to do something about it will that last will this will this be more than a passing phase I don't know but I think a lot of it is in our hands if we can take the anger and and and and the ugliness of this moment and use it to mount persistent campaigns to make sure those who are upset by what they've seen this week stay in the game don't give one more dime to these institutions that all all of a sudden are in support of free speech they were never in support of free speech when you wanted to speak there they were never in support of free speech when our pro-israel speakers wanted to speak there but now that students are speaking out in support of a massacre of Jews now they're in support of free speech let the anger of this double standard let the anger of this moral blindness encourage people not to give one more dime in that direction and instead give it to groups like the Maccabee task force or PragerU or people who are going to share the truth yeah it's a real question whether there will be a prolonged memory on the part of these alumni my I have said David for years to alumni it doesn't matter almost what college it would it would and I never exaggerate so this is my belief it would be better if you burned a million dollars than if you gave it to a university that's right because at least that way it would do no harm do no harm all right when we return I I want to review this the you have a video there that is as powerful as any we have ever put out and that is the five times Palestinians were offered a state and rejected it I bet there aren't five students at your alma mater Harvard that know that we'll be back in a moment I'm speaking with David Bragg the director of the Maccabee task force I'm Dennis Prager.

"Manipulation. It is a loaded word. The dictionary defines it as the ability to control or play upon by artful, unfair, or insidious means, especially to one's own advantage. Now, this is a fairly broad description and it leads to a few questions. Do advertisements have the ability to manipulate us? Can government messages manipulate us? Will a billboard on the tube manipulate you? Regardless of your opinion, it's clear that each of these types of communications can influence us and not always to our own advantage. Let's take an example. You walk into a Nike store, just with the goal of having a look around and you breathe in the scent of freshly unpacked shoes. Is this manipulation? Well, maybe, because Nike has reported that adding the new shoes scent to an environment made 84% of customers more likely to purchase shoes and made those customers willing to pay 10 to 15% more for the same product, just because they were breathing in that new shoes scent. And it's not just Nike shoes either. A London nightclub found that sales of the drink Malibu more than doubled when a coconut fragrance was diffused in the club. And Novatel, the hotel chain, increased breakfast, coffee and pastry sales by diffusing a coffee scent in the lobby in the morning. This might be a form of manipulation, encouraging customers to buy in an artful way. But manipulation doesn't start and finish with coffee sales and Malibu drinkers. It can sway far larger decisions. Research on the search engine manipulation effect has found that Google's rankings of results on political candidates can shift the voting preference of swing voters by up to 20%. A candidate that appears first on Google appears to get more votes. Fact is, all of us can be manipulated. Subtle nudges can change our decisions without our awareness. Today, with my guest, Patrick Fagan, we'll share methods you can use to avoid this manipulation to help you, as Patrick puts it, free your mind from manipulation. All of that coming up after this ad break, which I'll be honest, is also designed to subtly manipulate you. The podcast I'd like to recommend today is Inclusion and Marketing hosted by Sonya Thompson, which is brought to you by the HubSpot Podcast Network, the audio destination for business professionals. Now, inclusion and marketing digs into important topics like customer experience and diversity and how you can practice inclusive marketing authentically. The host, Sonya, makes a really important point that when you lead with inclusivity, you actually do win more attention, more admiration, more loyalty, and you win the trust of a broader group of consumers. So after you're done with nudge, go and listen to Inclusion and Marketing wherever you get your podcasts.

"Be famous for something horrible than to be ignored, basically. Psychopathy is the third factor, and of course that's where we get the term the psychopath. And this is a person who is very low in empathy. They're capable of cruelty because of that. They tend to be predatory and they're capable of planning very well. And yet being manipulative and hiding what they're up to. So they're sneaky. They're capable of violence and have no moral qualms about that. So you can start to see a pattern here that when you have paranoia, narcissism, and psychopathy, these are qualities that, I think, any mental health therapist would be very concerned about. Now, that doesn't mean that everyone with these qualities is going to become a mass killer or commit any kind of violence because these are not terribly rare in our society. A lot of times when I talk about this, people will say, oh, I have a neighbor like this. This reminds me of someone. You know, most people are not going to progress. But when you combine this with the Internet and becoming involved in hate groups and then the contagion phenomenon that we're seeing, these are the things we need to look at and be concerned about. I wonder if we could flag really quickly to something that comes out a lot. And I think actually comes in from this misunderstanding that we keep detailing, which is the mass violence can just be blamed on mental health issues. And I think it kind of comes out of this idea because Kelly and I hear this, and I'm sure you've heard this too, that anyone who does a mass shooting, you know, well, they must be crazy. No sane person would do that. We don't understand it. And so if we don't understand it, they've got to be crazy. Yeah. So I'd love to break that down. I think we can safely say that no happy, well adjusted person with a satisfying life decides that mass murder is a solution to their personal problems, right?

"This is the legal disclaimer where I tell you that the views thoughts and opinions shared in this podcast belongs to late to our guesthouse. And not necessarily Brady or Brady's affiliates. Please note, this podcast contains discussions of violence, but some people may find disturbing. It's okay. We find it disturbing too. Hey everybody, welcome back to another episode of red, blue and brandy. I'm one of your hosts, JJ. And I'm your other host, Kelly. And today we're here to talk about something that it's hard to say this Kelly, you know, might get talked about too much or just not well. We're talking about mass shootings, which as listeners of this podcast now are not the most common form of gun violence affecting Americans. However, it is a form of gun violence that is tragically misunderstood. It may not be the most common, but mass shootings are definitely one of the leading places where agents of misinformation like to go to spread lies about gun violence and its causes. So it's really important to understand it. Absolutely. And who better to understand it than a mental health therapist who spent 30 years working in violence prevention. And that is our guest today, doctor siobhan Scott. She's the author of the book, the minds of mass killers, which specifically deals with different pathways to violence, that a lot of mass murders, and of course, then mass shooters use. We're still following no known variety. That never changes, but what we're talking about is what kind of maybe drives shootings.

I'll read this. Because it's just the the opening paragraph is really would matters. The secretary of homeland security has issued a new national terror- terrorism advisory system bulletin regarding the current heightened threat environment crossing. I'd say the homeland continues to face a diverse and challenging threat environment leading up to and following the twentieth anniversary of the september eleventh. Two thousand one attacks as well religious holidays we assessed could serve as a catalyst for acts of targeted violence. These threats include those posed by domestic terrorist individuals and groups engage in grievance based violence and those inspired or motivated by foreign terrorists and other malign foreign influences these actors are increasingly exploiting online forums and podcasts to influence kidding online forums to influence spread violent extremist narratives and promote violent activity. Such threats are also exacerbated by impacts of the ongoing global pandemic including grievances over public health safety measures and perceived government restrictions. So they lead here on.
