"Okay, on this and then we have a lot to go into the positions that we want to preview here before we talk about that. I wanted to talk about all these other veteran possibilities, right? Calvin Ridley's name is still out there a lot linked to the Patriots Bill barnwell had that trade proposal in his last column. It was a second round pick and chase winovich for Calvin Ridley. I don't know where you fall on the Calvin Ridley thing. I don't know if we have to do that. But I'm wondering more so where we are with drafting one of these three guys we just talked about that they're meeting with in indie versus trading for somebody like Calvin Ridley. I mean, assuming Ridley checks out mentally and I'm not good, I don't know what he's going through. Everybody has the right stuff. Like, I don't want to make any assumptions about that. But you do need to figure out if you're the Patriots if that's the move you want to make. Assuming it all clears, I'm all in on Ridley because I default as much as I love the draft. I default to give me the guy who's proven he can do it, right? Yeah. As good of a prospect of some of these guys are a lave Williams, whoever, they haven't proven they can compete in the NFL. And there's been a lot of really, really good prospects at every position who got to the NFL inflamed out, right? Ridley has shown he can compete and be a difference maker at the NFL level. Outside of that, outside of him, I don't know, you know, the free agency class to me, there's some guys you could take risks on in their guys, maybe I would do like a one year short money prove it deal. I don't know that these guys would take those deals. I'm talking like the Eric decker contract, right? Who are some of the other ones? Do Mary's Thomas was one. Kenny would be another like, if you want to give.

"Would answer you is is is joe flacco. Good enough is brandon. Alan good enough. Because those were the quarterbacks he did it with when he broke out drew. Lock sound really bad. Oh i know but it makes teddy river. How good shot perryman was joe flacco member. I mean he. He he's provided fits like like as much as we like fitzpatrick. he's like the unlikable fitzpatrick he goes out there and he throws the ball down the field. See a wide receiver. Twenty nine when you're being dropped in those mid to late rounds like he's a seventeenth rounder. Right now. there are very few guys in that range who can truly break out and and take it up a notch in his sophomore season. He he was as good as you could have been with. Joe flacco brennan allen and drew lock. You can't ask them to do more to acl. terry had yeah. It's unfortunate but this isn't one of those things that's going to. I mean we see tons of players. Tear their acl especially early in their career and come back just as strong. You saw that with allen robinson. It wasn't like oh he. He tore his acl so he's no good anymore. No he's absolutely fine. He still the one hundred percent leader of the locker room. I was trying to read up more today about what's going on and vic fangio talking about in the workout rooms. This is the guy leading everybody. He is the one right now. Who's already at you know. He's he's participating in in. Ot as his he's going to be hundred full gopher training camp and he's a player who really showed the ability on nfl field. Unlike jerry jeudy who showed promise showed hope but we know for sure courtland sutton can do it and you want to know what's a really good quality to have around drew lock really good hands You really wide catch radius. Tested catch ability. Courtland sutton can do. I think he is a true alpha wide receiver in the nfl. He's a prototypical. Six foot three type of guy who we've seen be awesome. Unfortunately we only see twenty snaps last year Before his leg snapped and in those twenty snaps he had sixty six yards against pittsburgh steelers. Incredible defense came in like the mary. Thomas city damaris. Thomas was his role model. You got drafted to his team. They kicked him out and remember to marry his thomas He came in took a couple years to get going because of injury and then was good with tim tibo and when he got a superstar quarterback was a world beater. So there's the upside aaron rodgers. come to town. aaron rodgers I just think when. I'm looking at courtland sutton. He's the clear on this team. Jerry jeudy is not supplanting him. He's gonna lead targets he's gonna lead in yards is gonna lead touchdowns so yeah. It does come down to does that. Matter is drew. Lock good enough or is teddy bridgewater. Good enough and i would say yes. Teddy bridgewater sustained two thousand yard receivers almost three last year. We may different system but just saying a he he can. He can get the job done. So i think courtland sutton is a is a great value. Because he's not being drafted as if he broke out in as a young star wide receiver but he he did break out in a young star wide receiver and he's being drafted like he can't he'd like he doesn't have that upside. So that's where. I am on courtland sutton i imagine that. The broncos defense will be better than the vikings defense this here. I imagine they will be near the same. The unfortunately for the broncos they will have to play the chargers offense and the chiefs offense You know two times a year so your defense can be good but you you still have to throw the ball and catch up. Okay all right. That's s- planning was mediocre at best. I disagree official grade mediocre our final player that we need some explanation on. Is chris. godwin. Andy has them the highest of us. He has more in line with his adp. Jason i are a little bit behind the times here on our ranking of chris. Godwin and this. You know what i need an explanation here. Okay i need you just great. I'm out of here shows done. No i raise my confidence boost my love. Backup for chris gavin. I need my love for chris. Cowburn back at twenty twenty levels. I've twenty twenty one. Where's the i'm a. I'm a little shook with what happened last year. And it feels dumb really. I agree completely with you mike. This is not an explain yourself like. We think you're stupid here. This is like a. I'm stupid pump pump yourself. Yeah pump up. Chris godwin both bump it up. I think that's what the fantasy football industry needs right now. Yes the players need to renew their their once. Budding love of chris godwin and Because it wasn't great last year. It wasn't a fun ride. The chris godwin experience was nothing like the year before when he was what the wide receiver one or two on your scoring format in the entire league in two thousand nine thousand nine hundred four receptions sixteen hundred and eighteen yards and eleven touchdowns and then last year. We came along. And and you were bummed out. And mike evans played pretty well and tom brady. Spread the ball around. And you're like what am i going to do with chris. Godwin and i think it's important that people recognize that he is these same great wide receiver that just had a year of disruption. And when you go and look you know. All of last year. His his seventeen game pace was ninety two receptions for eleven hundred ninety two yards and ten if you go from week ten on which is when the offense got it together and he was back out there on the field. And antonio brown's there it was ninety for twelve sixty two and twelve. He was one of the most heavily targeted red zone wide receivers and football in fact his teammate was one of the only ones more targeted in the red zone but he was the eighth highest red zone wide receiver in all of football miss some time scored each of the last three weeks and really brought the fire when you weren't you know you might have been out because he didn't have them earlier in the year you just weren't you know riding the high of chris godwin and the important thing is to remember. This is the same physically physically gifted wide receiver. Brady's quarterback rating when targeting and was one hundred and thirty one point seven that's a fifth highest football. Little bit tyler. Lockett ask when it comes to like the wilson lucky connection fourth-highest catch rate among wide receivers. In fact if you look over the past two years think nineteen and twenty like he is at the very tippy top of catch rate You know over the last two years. Only michael thomas davante adams julio and digs average receiving yards per game. So he's going out there doing the same thing that he does now. The one area that. I think there is a difference..

joe flacco Jerry jeudy Jason jerry jeudy sixty two thousand mike evans nineteen Andy Alan tim tibo antonio brown fitzpatrick allen robinson chris aaron rodgers twenty snaps teddy bridgewater sixteen hundred ten

"We wanted to make it easy to vote hard to cheat voter. Id helps us meet that goal. Of course the democrats do think to fight against these commonsense reforms. It's absurd you have to have an idea to drive a car board. A plane open a bank account and pick up a prescription. Do they object to that. Of course not. These are much needed commonsense reforms to our election systems. Just look at what's happening in georgia to recent news articles show that prison biden and the democrats spread lies to pressure companies to boycott georgia over commonsense voting laws. Even the washington post gave president biden. Four pinocchio 's i lies about the georgia law. President i ask unanimous consent that the two articles i have with me today. Be placed in the record which outline how much the democrats have been grossly misleading. The public about election reform. Just goes to show you how out of touch. The democrats really are all my republican colleagues and i want to see more americans vote. And i'm thankful sooners brosseau. And kramer are joining me. In this effort today we wanna vibrant democracy where citizens are engaged in participate in government at every level. Sadly democrats are refusing to work with us to protect our voting systems instead. Democrats want make it easier to cheat and hardest stop election fraud. That's why the democrats are pushing one which were distrust in our elections impose anti-democratic mandates and further road our country's institutions. Right and. that's what they wanna do. They want to erode our institutions. Now i wanna say this. Let's just let's just do an initiative right here let's make it official the republicans for broadcast and me personally. Brian kelly. I promise if you are watching this program. And you're an american citizen. And i don't care where you are in the country if you don't have. Id and you need help getting idea. I promise you that we will help you get. Id just send me a message or send me an email at brian. Republic keeper dot com. And i promise you that we have a viewer or listener close enough to you. If we don't we'll find one we. I promise you the audience and watches the show. We know someone within reasonable driving distance of you. So if you need help getting an idea if you jacked to this law in georgia or to Center scott's proposal because you're concerned about your own ability to get an id. I just wanna tell you that the republican broadcast and our audience we are gonna come alongside you and we'll put our arm around you. We will do whatever we can to help you make sure you get. Id you've eighteen months now before the next election that has federal candidates in here in twenty twenty two and we just want to say the republican broadcast wants to be will be i to step out and say if you need. Id we wanna help. We absolutely want to help. Because there's no reason is if you don't have. Id knows somebody. Who doesn't have id please. Let's let's help them because it's not. Just impacting your ability to vote between now and twenty twenty two between now and twenty twenty. Two you won't be able to rent a car. You won't be able to get a bank account. You will be able to fly on an airplane. you won't. He'll probably enter a courthouse. You won't be able to get a licensed to carry a gun. You won't be able to do a whole bunch of things that make a full participation in society and so if in fact anyone knows about anybody out there that doesn't have. Id we just wanna make sure that the us and our listeners we will come alongside our viewers we will come alongside and help you just message us and we will absolutely make sure it gets done now. I will tell you that We will have no takers for that offer. And i'll tell you why because there aren't any adults in america who don't have id and if there are. The number of them is so small as to be not part of a discussion. That's any serious person would have about voting integrity in america. It's just the reality of no two ways around it now are linda. Thomas greenfield greenfield. Thomas hooks he whatever her name is. She is our official representative to the united nations. And this is how you. As an american tax payer in american citizen being represented to the world by the biden administration immediately reengaged with the human rights council and have announced their intention to seek election to that body so that we can advance our most cherished democratic values around the globe of course when we raise issues of equity and justice at the global scale we have to approach them with humility. We have to acknowledge that we are an imperfect union and have been since the beginning and every day we strive to make ourselves more perfect and more just in a diverse country like ours that means committing to do the work it means learning and understanding more about each other it means engaging trail-blazing groups like yours to teach to grow to include to improve it means not forgetting our past or ignoring are present but keeping both firmly in mind as we push for better future. I tried to do this recently. In the un general assembly. When i spoke on the international a for the elimination of racial discrimination that day and commemoration was personal for me so i told the u. in some personal stories. I told them how my great grandmother mary. Thomas born in eighteen sixty five was the child of a slave. Just three generations back from me. I grew up in the segregated south. I was blessed to a segregated school on weekends. The clan burn crosses on lawns in our neighborhood. I shared these stories and others technolog- on the international stage that i have personally experienced one of america's greatest imperfections. So when you.

"See I don't have pets. Okay okay I do have to ask you Based on some of your answers. I I i get the feeling you or a blue ball in a very red state bear man. Yeah oh in fact. My congressman is mo brooks and. i don't know what you've seen. Oh my goodness yeah. Oh yeah and he. He made the news lately because he said that he's going to be one who's going to question the count. Which s and i'm going holy cow. Well you know here in texas right. I was just telling my wife and Apologize listeners will get politics in a minute right. But i i wrote both to ted cruz and john corwin. The hypocrisy of you guys didn't feel merrick. Garland didn't even get a hearing. Yeah and then you decide you know amy barrett cohen. Whether you agree with it or not. I mean the idea. The let's be consistent right now. Boise and both of them answered the emails with all her qualifications. You know and just we were proud to vote for it. And i was just like at least own. At least say yeah. Absolutely yes My wife says this all the time we live here in texas we we are. You know Just weird like she's like dylan. Austin austin is a blueberry and strawberry. Yeah yeah yeah. And so i just. I had to think that that's gotta be interesting. This has been great before you go We to ask you the questions. So j armstrong is an honors english teacher in the philadelphia area and every year He takes his seniors and they spend two days stuttering thunder road going through the lyrics talking about the imagery A talk about the themes of the song They compared to rover frost. The road not taken among other things and then at the end of the two days jay looks at his class and says does mary get in the car so think. I've seen a t shirt with that on there. Yes there is so wide. That is your question. Does mary get in the car. Is mary getting car. I i think she does i think she does. It's a Because that just would enhance her. Ride and and And it would answer her questions about the driver of the car. And i think it's obvious that there is some some chemistry between the between the hero and mary. I think she does particularly since i'm just stretching. I'm saying it's a convertible so she doesn't have to worry about being it being in a car not not being able to get out if the hero turned out to be really weird. Oh i like that angle. i liked. That ain't a lot that's good good. Well thank you sir. This is perfect If someone wants to reach you How can they my emails. I can give that It's a bud mclaughlin. Seven byu dmc l a u g.
