"With groups that will serve both of those. That's one I'm for we you know, we now you've been racing suffering, because of what we've done to the animal kingdom. Well, hopefully we're gonna make a comeback and that obeying because we're gonna clone you, Dr Marty Goldensohn we're gonna find a way and you're and you're gonna live forever. You're going to be called. Dr Marty Methuselah Goldstein. How's that interesting is right now I have three youthful daughters and oldest is still in high school about to go to college. And I'm fifty eight years older than my youngest daughter. Wow. So I'm staying around a long time. I liked that. And I do what we have to get a little bit of a celebrity crush air. One thing we do have a little bit in common. Is that Oprah has voted a my show? Oh behave as one of her top three pet podcast for two years on a row. I never got a car of Arctic never, but you have worked with her. You've have worked with folks. Like Martha Stewart these are two. Genuine mazing animal lovers. Anything you want to share about working with them and their pets. These are opponent. I thought I hung up on, but. Well, first of all, they are two new dodge animal lovers. I mean that that is so obvious. One great thing was, you know, I have my own show about the gave you for six years. It was under serious, satellite network. It was called office vet and it was great. And she, you know, she is a huge animal lover, it really helped get the message out and then you know Oprah. Oh my God. Yeah. You know, she called me. I was actually going to my third month Stewart show and at the series studios in New York City, and I was in Grand Central station, and I never use a cell phone and all of a sudden a telephone call came in from Africa, and it was Oprah called me and Grand Central station. I could really you know, I couldn't speak to her, and they said, Oprah story really, can't speak to you because mocha stupid giving me on show and have to go with the Ritchie said, really? You know, I called her after the show, and we talk about Sophie, Sophie. He had four major problems and either goal bladder removed. And then she liked what you heard, she flew Sophie in, and we kept her on intravenous vitamin c for four days, I have emails from Oprah's any I in disbelief how well my dog is doing on your program. That is so wonderful because it doesn't matter if you're a celebrity, or you feel like a dog teach you like a rockstar. I think what this just is the commonality that common thread, because whether you're Oprah Martha Marty or Joe lunch bucket. I mean, look what pets do for us. Right. That's the biggie. And it's I've dealt with so many celebrities o obviously animal lovers. But it's about every every day America, you know, and the food that came out with the cellphones. I came out, it was how to reach every day of not you don't have to be a celebrity to get the benefit of what? I've learned over my last forty five years. That's the biggie, biggie. So at this point, is there any parting message to like to tell our listeners, we have a few hundred thousand and they're not all my relatives. So what would you like? So if you could wave a magic wand to everybody that's blessed to have a pet in their life is there something you'd like to tell him, I would like to share my two associates with them, and I made me as successful as I am is that I actually bonded with two associates, just a year or two outside of Cornell and one, the socio is called nature 'cause she knows what she's doing in the body. She's one hundred percent countries. So we have to get in touch, and assign a purpose to what natures doing in the body, not necessarily think that every symptom major creates his bad, we have to suppress with the medication for any other one is my buddy. Like I mentioned before common sense. We do Recchi step back. Back and instead of you know, because disease will send you, you know, totally out of fact, you hear that word cancer in your companion animal, and you freak out and you lose aspects of common sense. And I developed who I am in my practice by stepping back and saying what should a dog? Eat watch true the cat. Eat why does this kind of a fever? Why is there a discharge? Why is there you could see diarrhea and I started to use commonsense to put a purpose on stuff that they learn at school? That is. Those two associates nature commonsense. And we'll golden. I think you said it perfectly, I am honored and delighted folks to have Dr Martin Goldstein on our show as our special guest today at this time, also I want to salute our producer, doc. He's.

"We're back from a lot, just check the paper and we had a record showing the box the litterbox that is now back to over. Hey, here's our welcome back to the behave show on pet life radio. I'm your host Ardmore. I gotta tell you. I've heard of Dr Marty Goldstein I've read stuff by him. But I've been in the pet field for twenty years. And this is my first opportunity to have a conversation with you. And I've been really enjoying what you've been saying Dr Marty. The funny thing is I've been called a lot of things that I could spend the rest of the show in just me sharing those names, I've never been called and all leader for the pets. Well, I just, I just gave you that you're creating health harmony how that. Yeah, I mean that's great. Thank you. All right. That's why I is a writer. So let's talk a little bit about cats. I know we're talking about food, and we're talking about a little bit supplements in the mega three fish oil or krill oil. Help us here because cats are not small dogs and you know and my household I got married a year and a half ago. So I have a furry Brady bunch three cats and three dogs. Everybody gets along. But the dogs are always head into the water bowl. We have one of those moving motion water fountains for the kitties. We always use bottled water. But talk a little bit about cats because people say they don't drink enough water. And when we were getting you on the show you wanted to clarify a little bit about how, maybe what's in their diet could add to their ability to stay hydrated. Usually excessive drinking a border is a very bad sign or symptom, especially in the cats. The number one killer of cats is kidney failure, and the one of the first times, you'll see is excessive thirst and urination because just the kidneys. Ain't working anymore. One of the byproducts of the metabolism of good food is water water, and carbon dioxide comes off, when you make good food. And when you metabolize properly good food. So I can't raised on a very good healthy diet or species appropriate diet, because there's an obligation carnivore, right? They're not going to be needing to drink a lot of water. We've gotten used with because we've created the dry food complex. We ask is, you know, the pet food industry has actually taken responsibility for creating the disease in cats called cardiomyopathy by taking tore food, compounds byproducts baking the hell out of it turning into a powder, and then excluding it into into crunchies, and they destroyed the Amita west Torian and you'll be answered. L carnitine. And we created severe heart disease in hats by the pepper industry. And when this food is dried like, you know, it turns back into a powder. It dehydrates the body. So the body has to drink a lot more water to rehydrate itself. You a cat on a raw meat diet their requirement for what goes way way down. So don't feel obsessed. Oh, my drink more water. Like the union, we should be your eight glasses a day, animals, and not like that in nature. Okay. And what do you think about the canned food versus the chemical issue? It sounds like if they're not able to do afford. Let's just say raw meat diet, if they went with a spec- appropriate candidate or what's your thoughts on that versus just choose? I would choose can't because you opened up a can yoga and see the food, you know, especially if it's a high quality food, you know, there are some very high quality, dry foods on the market unfortunate. Thing is that the high quality ingredients in order to make it a dry food usually has to go through what's called the extrusion process, which is eating high temperature and compressing into these little little, tablets, so you're getting the destruction of the lot of the nutrients compounds that are in there and to meet Apcoa regulations of the FAA, a lot of times, the vitamins minerals and all that stuff that's headed back in rented synthetic forms, which actually detract, vital energy from the body. You know, it all goes down to food should be feeding them food that they were intended to eat and nature. All right now, we've talked a little bit about three essential nutrients of pet should have for healthy at light. What about some other things? I mean when I teach my pet first aid classes, I actually Dr Marty have had safety dog Kona and pet safety cat, Casey. He's an orange tabby we call in the country, we teach Naria approved. Pet for state and I have a policy that says, why does it have to be scary because I am a little bit of a goofball at heart, so we have a little fun, but we're learning but what I'm saying is when I do at the end I do a head detail wellness assessment, and everybody does it on KC in Kona. All my dog Casey, and Kona. Love when the students come up and do therapeutic massages up and down the spine and looking for lactic acid and things like that. But tell us the importance of touch of massage what we can do instead of tapping a dog on a head or Patna cat. What can you share with our our listeners? It doesn't cost any money. But it sounds like touching with a purpose is a much better option. Well, first of all, there are probably even more than I'm going to say, but when I first learned acupuncture, three hundred sixty five acupuncture points on the body, like, wow, each day of the year. They're actually more than that. And I've seen in many. Event when everything's now certified thank you Jeff seed. Barack those response by stimulating either with a needle or aqua puncture by injection. Or when you sergeant acupuncture point miraculously exit the body, so you know, the body is a network of energetic points. Yeah. And proper assauage private practice work on the back and the back has it's called the bladder Meridian in acupuncture. It's to flows of energy on each side of the spine and along that bladder Meridian already called association points in each one hopes to an internal organ body like the bladder, the kidneys, the small intestine, and blah, blah, blah. Right. So you have a pain in your back or your pet has a pain in their back. It could be a reference to something going on internally. And if you gently besides that area. So it feels good. Oh, good, man. Be actually sending energy back to that organ. And making the body hope. You're not even know what you're doing thinking. It's just bizarre. So you are correct. You're bonding with your pet your petting with a purpose. I guess, maybe that's the best way of saying it by using your fingertips massage. Right. I mean if you go down near leg, or they're back, you feel it hype Mosul, bungle, just like if it was you and someone massage it out, you can feel better, you're going to have more live fabrics slow, you know, and when you feel better physically you feel better mentally, and we do know, mind over matter. It really helps to help state. I say, Amen. Doctor arne. You are my number one since you're, I know it's just common sense. Now the other thing I wanted to talk about because you also are lot about giving back. So can you tell us a little bit about your connection with the freedom service dogs of America, and it's just there's so many different organizations that I would like to support. You know, when you deal about the freedom service is just, you know, you're helping such a higher global level. So when my group and I got together, which ones should be because I do have my own foundation kinda laying going right now we're really going to get fired up. You know it's just the people that, that service, our planet to try to keep it safe. And there let's look at how the pet you know the companion animal fits in to the Yuban race. I look at it. You know, we, we have all these things we do in life. You know, we try to keep ourselves fit. We get married till we could have a family. We have a group that we work with. And then we have the higher dynamics, you know, we have the Uber race and we have the godly aspect, you know, whatever you believe in, in the spiritual world, and look what the animal is it represents the Uman raise the level of uncondemned. National love. Absolutely. And unfortunately, what we've done I graduated Cornell nineteen Seventy-three, and it was approximately one at a ten dogs got cancer, and it was always a disease of the also we saw a young girl with a lump. We eliminated the possibility cancer just by the age. Bowland statistic. That's been out. There is one out of every one point six one dollars in the United States get cancer, and it's become very common in the younger dog yanked. So what we're doing if you look at this globally is with turning this level of unconditional, love what they represent us into cancer. And it's putting a spin on the Uman race. You know how many people I have dealt with over the years, even celebrities that have to stop filming a film, because their dog or cat has cancer, or I guess what people have to not work where they go bankrupt. You know, trying to, you know, pay for the. Chemotherapy and this and that. So we're actually this human animal bond is so powerful and it's probably more powerful on the animal side helping the human human helping the animal. Right. And, you know, anytime we could support that with groups that will serve both of those. That's one I'm four. We, you know, we now you've been racing suffering, because what we've done to the animal kingdom. Well, hopefully we're gonna make a comeback and that of aim because we're gonna clone you, Dr Marty Goldensohn. We're gonna find a way and you're and you're gonna live forever. Well, hopefully we're going to make a comeback in that vein because we're gonna clone you. Dr Marty Goldensohn. We're gonna find a way and you're and you're gonna live forever. You're going to be called. Dr Marty Methuselah Goldstein. How's that? What did you? Is right now three youthful daughters. Oldest is still in high school about to go to college, and I'm fifty eight years older than my youngest daughter. Wow. So I'm staying around a long time. I liked that. And I do we have to get a little bit of a celebrity crush share. One thing we do have a little bit in common. Is that Ofra has voted on my show Opie 'have as one of her top three pet podcast for two years on a row? I never got a contract already never, but you have worked with her. You have worked with folks, like Martha Stewart these are two genuine mazing animal lovers anything, you want to share about working with them and their pets. Yeah. These are opponent. I thought I hung up on, but. Well, first of all, they are to new animal lovers. I mean that that is. So obvious. One great thing was, you know, I have my own show at Malta gave me for six years. It was on the Sirius satellite network. It was called Malta's vet and it was great. And she, you know, she is a huge animal lover, it really helps get the message out and then you know Oprah. Oh my God. Yeah. She kobe. I was actually going to my third vote. The Stewart show at the series studios in New York City, and I was in Grand Central station, and I never use a cell phone and all of a sudden a telephone call came in from Africa. And it was Oprah called me and Grand Central station. I could really you know, I couldn't speak to her, and I said, okay, I'm sorry. I really can't speak because mocha stupid giving me on show and have to go with the average he'd said, really? Then, you know, I called right after the show and we talk about sofi. She flew Sophie in, and we kept her on intravenous vitamin c for four days, I have emails from opus saying, I'm in disbelief how well my dog is doing on your program. That is so wonderful because it doesn't matter if you're a celebrity, or you feel like your dog teach you like a rockstar. "But I've been in the field for twenty years. And this is my first opportunity to have a conversation with you. And I've been really enjoying what you've been saying. Dr marty. Thing is I've been called a lot of things. You spend the rest of this show in just me sharing those names, I've never been called and orchestra leader for the pets. Well, I just I just gave you that because you're creating health harmony how that yeah, I mean that's great. Thank you. All right. That's why I is a writer. So let's talk a little bit about cats. I know we're talking about food, and we're talking about a little bit supplements and the mega three destroy or krill oil. And when we were getting you on the show you wanted to clarify little bit about how, maybe what's in their diet could add to their ability to stay hydrated. Usually excessive drinking a border is a very bad sign or symptom, especially the cats goes to number one killer of cats is kidney failure. And one of the first times, you'll see is excessive thirst and urination. Chris, the just the kidney. Eight working anymore. One of the byproducts of the metabolism of good. Food is water watering carbon dioxide comes off, when you make good food. And when you metabolize properly good food. So I can't raise on a very good healthy diet or species appropriate diet, because there's an obliga- carnivore, right? They're not going to be needing to drink a lot of water. We've gotten used to it because we've created the dry food complex we ask is, you know, the pet food industry is actually taking responsibility for creating the disease in cats called cardiomyopathy by taking poor food, compounds byproducts baking the hell out of it turning into a powder, and then excluding it into into crunchies, and they destroyed the middleware satori and you'll be answered. L carnitine. And we created severe heart disease and hats by the peppered industry. And when this food is dried like, you know, it turns back into a powder. It dehydrates the body. So the body has to drink a lot more water to rehydrate itself. You cat on a rugby tired their requirement for water. Goes way way down. So don't feel obsessed that. Oh my God. That's more water. Like the union we should be your eight glasses today. Animals are not like that in nature. Okay. And what do you think about the canned food versus the chemical issue? It sounds like if they're not able to afford, let's just say, raw meat diet, if they went with a spec- appropriate candidate or what's your thoughts on that person's just choose, I would personally choose can't because you opened up a can you're gonna see the food, you know, especially if it's a high quality food, you know, there are some very high quality, dry foods on the market unfortunate. Thing is that the high quality ingredients in order to make it a dry food usually has to go through what's called the extrusion process, which is eating it at high temperature and compressing into these little little tablets. So you're getting a destruction of the lot of the nutrients compounds that are in there, and to be Apcoa regulations of the FAA, a lot of times, the vitamins minerals, and all that stuff that's headed back in Iran synthetic forms, which actually detract, vital energy from the body. You know, it all goes down to food should be feeding them fluid that they were tended to eat a nature right now we've talked a little bit about three essential nutrients of pet should have for healthy at light. What about some other things? I mean when I teach my pet first aid classes, I actually Dr Marty have had safety dog Kona and pet safety cat, Casey. He's an orange tabby. We all over the country, we teach vetinary approved. Pet for state and I have a policy that says, why does it have to be scary because I am a little bit of a goofball at heart, so we have a little fun, but we're learning but what I'm saying is when I do at the end I do a head detail wellness assessment. And everybody does it on KC and Kona all my dog Casey and Kona. Love when the students come up and do therapeutic massages up and down the spine and looking for lactic acid and things like that. But tell us the importance of touch of massage what we can do instead of tapping a dog on a head or Patna cat. What can you share with our our listeners? It doesn't cost any money but it sounds like touching with a purpose as much better option. Well, first of all, there are probably even more than I'm going to say, but when I first learned acupuncture, three hundred sixty five acupuncture points on the body, like, wow, each day of the year. They're actually more than that. And I've seen in many. Even when everything's now, certified acupuncture, you see Barack loose response by stimulating either with the needle or aqua puncture by injection. Or when you sergeant acupuncture point miraculously text the body, so you know, the body is a network of energetic points. Yeah. And proper charge private practice work on the back and the back has it's called the bladder veridian in acupuncture. It's to flows of energy on each side of the stone. And along that bladder Meridian or what he called the sociation points in each one hopes to an internal organs, the body like the bladder, the kidneys, the small intestine, and blah, blah, blah. Right. So you have a pain in your back or your pet has a pain in their back. He could be a reference to something going on internally. And if you gently besides that area. So it feels good. Oh, good. Maybe actually sending energy back to that organ, and making the body hope you're not even know what you're doing thinking. It's just bizarre. So you are correct. You're bonding with your pet your petting with a purpose. I guess, maybe that's the best way of saying by using your fingertips massage. Right. I'm -solutely if you going down their leg or they're back. Do you feel it hype Mosul bungle just like if it was you? And so, in massage it out, you can feel better, you're going to have more live traffic flow. You know, when you feel better physically you feel better mentally, and we do know, mind over matter, it really helps to help state. I say, Amen, Dr already. You are my one since you're I know it's just common sense. Now the other thing I wanted to talk about because you also are a lot about giving back. So can you tell us a little bit about your connection with the freedom service dogs of America? It's just there's so many different organizations that I would like to support, you know, when you do ground, the freedom service is just, you know, you're helping it such a higher global level. So when my group and I got together, which ones should be because I do have my own station kinda lane going right now. But we're really going to get fired up. You know, it's just the people that, that service, our planet to try to keep it safe and there. Let's look at how the pet you know the companion animal fits in to the Yuban race. I look at it. You know, we, we have all these things we do in life. You know, we try to keep ourselves said we get married till we could have a family. We have a group that we work with. And then we have the higher dynamics, you know, we have the Uber race and we have the godly aspect. You know, whatever you believe in. In the spiritual world. And look what the animal is, is represented the Uman race the level of unconditional love. Absolutely. And unfortunately, what we've done I graduated Cornell nineteen Seventy-three, and it was approximately one at a ten dogs got user, and it was always a disease of the also we saw a young door with a lump. We eliminate the possibility cancer just by the age. Bowland statistic. That's been out. There is one out of every one point six hundred dollars in the United States cancer, and it's become very common in the younger dog yanked. So what we're doing if you look at this locally is with turning this level of unconditional, love what they represent to us into cancer. And it's putting a spin on the Uman race. You know how many people I have dealt with over the years, even celebrities that have to stop filming a film, because their dog or cat. Has cancer or this or people have to not work where they go bankrupt, you know, trying to, you know, pay for the chemotherapy, and this, and that so we're actually this human animal bond is so powerful, and it's probably more powerful on the animal side, helping the human human help the animal. Right. And, you know, anytime we could support that with groups that will serve both of those. That's one I'm for we, you know, we now you've been racing suffering, because what we've done to the animal kingdom. Well, hopefully we're gonna make a comeback in that event, because we're gonna clone you, Dr Marty Goldensohn. We're gonna find a way and you're and you're gonna live forever. You're going to be called. Dr Marty Methuselah Goldstein. How's that interesting is right now, three youthful voters and oldest is still in high school about to go to college? One thing we do have a little bit in common. Is that Oprah has voted a my show Opie 'have as one of her top three pet podcast for two years on a row? "You know getting out there now. What took you so long. I found your Webinar. It was fascinating and it was really wonderful. You talk about the nutrition and what was in there and what you have to treat your pet the way you would treat yourself and the way you were talking about the doctor said. Oh you're getting older. You're twenty six and finally pursue that shoulder and when he blamed an age I looked at May said what about marriage will come in at birth canal. Five seconds later you know as a younger why make sense and then his wife died of lung cancer thirty six on the his care and I went on a dietary change. My arthritis went away was always overweight. I lost weight and has the bill is something wrong. And that was way back in the seventies taking a long time. You're right I think this is a really American thing how much they're devoted to their animals into their pets. What do you think it's America Avenue? Disagree with you there. Because I know people in England and Germany and France and Japan. These people definitely love their pets. Just definitely I mean France. They bring them to the dinner table at restaurants. Care Europe's advanced. It's just so much more because it's Nokia Right. There not going through these chemicals that are being put into the foods and you're right about the lay of the labels. You can't even read them. They're like tiny point size. I bring a magnifying glass with me and I have glasses that I wear to read the labels but afterwards I found that it changed my cats behavior and she just turned fifteen two weeks. I think the education that you're bringing to patients and the patients owners are really beneficial to room. We saw that in the bell. Boecklin to good nutrition is where it starts and also the training of new that are in areas that to Dr Who is the she was the director? Bellas you the students that we interviewed at the end they have. She is doing an internship this summer just this week here kidding top. You know here again. We didn't plan that. That's how I was hoping that was going to happen because I did see. She said I'm brand new here. She came up to you. She was talking to you and I said I really hope this person's going to take the next step and move towards that. So do you think this will help really change? Some of the programming in the schools are of little change it. I think it will. Alternative Medicine shouldn't change conventional in he added toured so we shouldn't change conventional medicine and the way it's taught at Cornell we thought Angel Courses Causes are the courses acupuncture. Well why would they be such a resistance to it when people are understanding that I did have something to say and might be off the record but you can tell me what you think but but as long as the pharmaceutical companies are funding universities universities are preaching? This will do this this struggle. And they're really wanting them to use the pharmaceutical and so that's it is there died in the when you go to school. You come out thinking this stripe. Is that disturbed that they don't teach nutrition? They don't teach a lot of these other things that you could use instead of that. There's no discussion of that. So you know who's paying for this. Education has several days post session. Subsidized companies and companies. So congratulations on having the world premiere here in New York. I think you really had people excited about. Of course you had a lot of people that have been working on the film in the audience and I was wonderful to bring them all up there. You are such a team and I think that film really brought that out. It was wasn't a team effort for sure. Oh it had to be has to be. Because how else can you go through this? I mean you do it with humor and I love that to you to my age. Most are up happy people. It's just a job and if you if you let the seriousness of what you do every day get your so without. Let me laugh at all. No in-cabin musters. You'll fail the animals pick up on more than people do well. That's that was my next question. How do they know and they do know I know? But how can they and they look at you? And that's when the tears come down because you see the the look in their eyes and no because how else are they going to ask for? Help not on a study list week where dogs can detect lung cancer. A blood sample with ninety seven percent. Accuracy news I know senator who Britain here do they know but one thing. I learned from Artie. And this is what I try to convey to other people and he really from the day I met you. You taught me this and he was like you have to if you think. This dog is failing. You know if you if you come in with doom and gloom like Dobbs picking up on what you're sending out and so you need to change your attitude and have some hope and I. I can't explain it but it's like when you kind of think you know. Because they're picking up there so sensitive. They're picking up on your energy so if you're just like. Oh my God I'm devastated. You're dying it kind of brings them down and so their immune system is also going to have a hard time at. I told that to one of the patients that we were filming one time because she was so upset. I heard was so sick and and had vertigo and all the stuff and I said you know you need to change your attitude a little bit like the dog is coming in. Just think it's a really positive thing. And she said when she got there. It was amazing. I never told you the story. She said you know I did what you said. And the dog got up and stuck up for the first time in like a year like this dog has been so sick and I. I just thought I'M GONNA change my attitude and be positive around the dog and the dog perked up. She said and we haven't even seen that yet. I said turn it work. I don't know why but Marty Goldensohn did teach me that. It's about your energy around. Your dog is important. This is a really such a positive movie. It has a positive message. And what else would you like people to take away after they see this movie after they see your film where is common sense and in consciousness so much commonsense not when you go to medical school literally quote unquote brainwashing? Because you're studying textbooks and Latin terms of drugs and muscles and bones that big so you can pass the exam and you get home vision on. How do you as a doctor can pass the exam? And this and that and you go this way and you know you know. What am I way of calls in for reverse my own hold issues? Proper Diet was like. Why did they create ed food to be the way it was if you actually if the pepperonis who's created by scientists that started the way Dole to Catholic nature? They would've never pet. Food was looted just since so. That's what they have to learn is that why does the body in create an illness or an inflammation because of the drug deficiency is just the weight of the Hebrew is not an aspirin deficiency. You get your immune system use impresses so much for what is trying to do and funding fails in normal cells grow haywire attack the body. It's by the body because news is it's not rocket science helps knock concerns and the other thing that I really learned at this clinic. Is that every individual you know? It's not one size fits all. It's not like this this case we're going to treat it like this and you know your animal and people in other animals more than anything and I think you have to look at each animal as an individual and use your brain because you know your dog you know if they don't feel that you know if something's not working if your doctors putting you on something and your dog is worse you need to speak up.

"I. And I grew up with ABC AM and my grandma's kitchen where John gambling going back in the sixty the big radio. Wwl war. County. Wait, another one. There was Bob grant, Bob grant. Grant. But anyway, I was working with Archie bunker, by the way. Telecom when I met you was that Pat falling and you introduce and I'll never forget how great you treated, and because like you're up on the food chain celebrity, and you really treat it all. That's great. Maryanne is I did I I was born. It was a big point in my career. How it allowed me to be the host of wack pack polling this little bowling alley and hall. I told you the elevator door opens eight o'clock in the morning. And there was Beetlejuice elephant boy, John and they're all drunk, but my wife showed up she was nine months pregnant at the time. Oh, I didn't realize. Yes. She wants Marian with my son Gabriel and Daniel. Yeah. Loves you. My wife is a huge Marianne. So while you're saying you're saying we were nice to you. You were very nice to us. Why you're treated equally not everybody. Treats, the wack pack so coin. Brooklyn guy, and you're very kind. So I think when someone like you that has this big platform treats, Eric me, you know, shed, right, right? So it means a lot, you know. And I follow you on Twitter. And I liked that you don't back down. I might not always agree with you. But you don't back down. And that's why like but as far as Eric early. I didn't even realize to a couple of weeks ago that there was this. In february. We don't we ordinarily. That's a good question. We don't this is a special election Marianne coming up. Yep. Came in the mail, and I happen to be a big Marty Goldensohn, Republican or democrat or whatever because he's a good man bike with people said, I call by someone that will help any neighbor. See I'm not all about red and blue. I'm about being good. So if you're good and and to everybody and won't turn your back. That's why someone like Eric is going to be good for my neighborhood. Yes, we're suffering here in. It's very bad homeless. We have a lot of crime the neighbor changed, and you know, we have a lot of overcrowded schools. It's for everybody everybody. It's just a hard race, everyone to Lynn. We love you Marian. Eric is sitting down. So we have to say goodbye. But this is a big Bernie and sit show we love you very much. Mary can you? Can you just say oh chief for come on? I of my favorite shows. I'll do from my grandma. Love your Maryanne. Thank you. We love you too. Thank you, the great Marianne from Brooklyn. She's right. You know, I went to school in bay ridge. I went to poly prep on bay street and Diker, and Eric, of course, knows a lot of the same people that I do from that area is what is mcqueen's where he's from where he's been very very very successful councilman. And I gotta tell you. I'll be honest with you. We had Michael Blake in studio yesterday. And we kind of liked them. We gave him an opportunity, but we told him before before I sat down with guy. I said Eric riches. My really good body were endorsing L Erico which voting for Eric. But we'll let Michael talk and Michael was very respectful to you. But we have said time and time again, Eric that in a city that has more problems the things going well right now, you may be the only guy Eric rich that can save New York City. Michael, Blake's, great guy, a great friend and a great new. New Yorker, I'm not voting for him on Tuesday, obviously voted for myself. But he's a really terrific guy. And it's great to be here with the both of you. I really appreciate it last time. I was in bay ridge. Actually, I don't know if you know that I was with mardi golden last night that was last night. From there. I didn't. Okay. Well, it was great to see her. But we were there and so many people coming up to Marty. I mean, he's so popular. He's such a great guy. What a fantastic elected official was really was a shame that he lost. I think he got swept up in all of the lost by a hair to he lost by. I think just under a thousand votes. Warn, you we had about four politicians on right before that election that day. Tom sullivan. How did he do he lost? How did he do? I think he lost to Mardy golden was on this show too. Okay. I'm leaving the show. No, no, no way to we're too. I'm leaving the show. Hey, I wanna give a shout out if I can to my daughter my six year old daughter lily. She's listening to the show with my grandmother. She's the love of my life. Yeah. That's most important job. I have is really. Thank you. Now. Your grandmother you live in queens your grandma's in Queenstown. Yes. Everybody's in queens right there. Yes. She must be very proud of you. I I gotta tell you. You know, it's funny. Now that we've met a couple of months going and Bernie and all of what's good friends. It's amazing. How many upbringing name up for example? I love Eric. He loves you to me as today. I know we did even Curtis lever was very very upset a couple of days ago that you were not on that debate floor and said, you know, what I'm all in. I'll goes pizzeria. I'm Eric rich come around. We liked the same restaurants. Like, why worry about it was about raising money? Why weren't you there wasn't? It wasn't so much about raising the money. It was about raising and spending the money by last Monday, which we were not prepared to do. We didn't wanna do we weren't gonna spend one hundred and seventy one thousand dollars by last Monday on what do they expect? You would spend it on consultants. I don't know. I mean, elyssa Mark Viverito. Okay. One of the other candidates in the race. She took a lot. Yes. She is. She had to take a loan. I think over two hundred thousand dollars she took a loan into her campaign just to meet the threshold that's very expensive ticket to get into the debate. By the way, it was like an echo chamber. I'm kinda glad I didn't go. Did you see what happened the other night? I watched the whole thing. It was like the five of them are seven of them reading from the same script. It was ridiculous. It really was. And and the thing about Michael Blake. I mean, he's he's the most reasonable the rest of a so out there. So it sounds like lunatics as I said about Melissa Mark Viverito. I mean, a guy like him who still very left wing. He's he's he sounds almost normal. But he's he's a very bright guy. He's a very impressive guy. He's very good on the stump. Again, I'm not voting for him on Tuesday. You are the most reasonable the most Sal the most sober. I mean, I'm writing on the common sense. Yes. You know, because we can't to nonpartisan election. Just for your listeners just kind of remind them. There's no Democrats and Republicans people say, oh, I always vote Republican you can't vote Republican Tuesday. There are no Republicans are no Democrats on the ballot. Even though we know there were two Republicans running and still the people that go into the booth they won't see. And that hurts Eric a little bit. So of the name Eric Alrich on Tuesday vote for him for public advocate on the top row, by the way. You know? What's funny, the say, it was like an echo chamber. We have we're going to break. Please stick around. We'll do another segment, but here's what changed for the first time when you were on stage that first debate almost all of the opposition attack. Donald trump. You were the one that had to keep reminding these folks this is not about the federal government. It's not about Trump. It's about the Blasios now with you off the stage the other night, all of them all of a sudden became very courageous. Then when they brought up the Blasio for president, whether it was Kim or Viva or that dope in the white dress level, Honey, MS they all of a sudden, we're able to attack Bill de Blasio because you weren't there. You would have held up feet to the fire. I was the original anti nausea. And I still am accept no imitations. You're the only other one. Yes. Absolutely or authentic. I would you see is what you get seventy seven.
