"'cause American version mission invoices in always just imagine him and taking and in this beautiful animated film. Every time I talk to his daughter that movie, that's all he's going to stay. Right. And I love and I love and I just love stories like I just love like being able to make things up, like, you know, anything is possible. And I feel like we day your imagination run while e. So that's why got that's why I love that. But walking through jeopardy museum, seeing all the work that they did and how they didn't realize they do a lot of same stuff that I did made me feel pretty smart down my talents. This whole interview has been so inspiring. I feel like every not only young people need to listen to this, but shoo all these NFL players need to listen to you and dislike. Hear the passion you have for things outside the sport. Like I just think that's awesome that you were able to discover that and just really hone in on these skills, these creative skills that you have. But before you go with everything going on with the imagination agency, what do you think your purposes in all of this also. My biggest thing as a crater my I need to do is I feel like I'm more important to my community as a crater ever has athlete. And then because they have so many examples of athletes already proven method and they know they can do it. So now it's my thing is introduced kids to other possibilities as whether it's tech, whether there's no people think about wrapping, but they never think about scoring film. So for me, I think it's all about telling stories that encouraged cancer dream bigger, any magic more so that they can do anything they wanna do. So that's why most of my stories aren't like lesson driven is all about venture. 'cause I just want everybody else to go their own venture and not let society defined what success for your, what you have to be cause. For a lot of times where we come from, they just rolled us a ball, say, good luck, but now there's no longer that no no longer can only roll your ball. It's like, hey, here's a computer. Here's, you know, saying his his, his pin, his his instrument, here's a. b. beat like it's just so many different possibilities. And I just want introduce Kim. To the possibility. Well, also wanna bring families together and that's why like children's book, because you don't just hand for your kid children's book, right? You sit down and read the book kid, which is why I like the right children's. But because I like it's family time with whoever buys is fodder for me, they spend time with family to read it and joy together. This is an awesome have -solutely. I mean, I feel like we should give round clause for Martell right now. I think we have to be for everyone. When I say we're so excited to see what you have in store for the imagination agency, and thanks so much for hanging out with us. Thank you forever. No problem back now bring the whole family. "Important. We, we are important. I. Oh, okay. So we, we missed us on the pie. We also are missing our girl today. Of course, she's still out there Ballin, but congrats to her the Connecticut sun for making the play. Oh. Applause for that. So I guess we'll have to share her what the WNBA a little bit longer. But until then we have another pop and show for y'all and a very special guest. He's a Super Bowl champ that now owns his own media company. The imagination agency, Martellus Bennett will be with us. I'm hype for it. Hooper hib- I'm here are some other stuff to what are you heard that somebody on this podcast has a birthday coming? I heard that too. I know. Birthday. Verde twins. You're the seventeenth on the nineteenth. I really usually don't make a big deal about my birthday, but you know what? You know why my h I'm at right now don't say my age. Why. Birthday was on the fourth Obama's birthday is a bunch of. There are no. I like I like being down with the crew. That's even our even our intern today. She Lille to August. This is the cast today. Your birthday do enjoy it. Just in this? Not that I don't enjoy is just like, you know, just let me tell you, this is your real New Year's like this. The day that your ear starts over. Forget I August nineteenth is your new. So have you said that because money I posted heavy new year before, like when like isn't it. Making me feel stupid, whatever. Anyway, we've got a lot to get into right now, but of course, I, we have to see what's off the bench. So first story off the bench guys Carmelo was officially a Houston rocket. Surprise. No, I, I don't know if there's going to be good or not, but anyway, he signed for a one year two point, four million dollar contract, which is kind of similar to a injured DeMarcus cousins, which I found interesting. I don't know just on that out there, but we know mellow laughs at the idea of coming off the bench. But after signing that bitch roles looking looking more like a reality. So either way does Carmelo signing with Houston, get them any closer to beating the warriors, Justin in shorts, hell no. Knows got such a bad rap these past few years, especially the last couple of seasons in New York, and that once he's in Oklahoma City, a lot of that falls on him. I look, I limit that a lot of that falls on him, but some of you doesn't. But regardless I wanna see mellow find success again because he hasn't really been key player on successful team in about five or six years. Remember that year that the Knicks went to the playoffs that one year where one year where he was MVP contingent. So I really, I'd love to see you know his time in Houston, really be productive, especially longside is boy, Chris, Paul and Steven Stephen Smith set some earlier where it made a lot of sense. Chris, Paul makes a lot a lot of people around him better. Look at Blake Griffin, looking beyond your joy. Look at all the guys he's played with you. Gotta figure mellow even at thirty three thirty, four years old should be able to benefit from that. But again. Houston couldn't beat Golden State last year. For my reasons, the big the biggest of which would was Chris Paul's injury and that all time, horrific game seven. And I think there were better squire last year. But like I said, if you weeks ago, man like dubs and five, but on another note that doesn't feel like mellow sour Houston, like three months ago, I know right? Because we've been talking. Definite. You know to answer your original question Kayla after like it's highly unlikely that he's gonna make a difference. I mean, losing Aretha in Imbamaj who was was huge to the Houston roster in my opinion. I just feel like I'm not really sure that mellow was going to be able to fill that boy by himself. I know that they're gonna need to replace a reason minutes. He was playing at three and defense..

"His completion percentage is poor and he throws a lot of picks are kind of old school kind of numbers. They're kind of like early nineties kind of QB numbers, but you know that twenty eight eighteen is kind of what he is. He's very productive. He's just a gambler a little bit. He's a gunslinger kind of a guy. We're games last year. Right. That's well crummy. Any who fun times? Good to see a call. I got to cut it short here because the main event is has arrived here. Like I say, one of my very favorite guys and all the NFL. Let's keep with them right now. It's Martell Bennett lateral. What's the weirdest conversation you've had in a huddle? So Martellus Bennett played with the giants. I was in a game late with Martellus Bennett, and we get in the huddle. I call it play about two. I tell them what the play is. There was TV timeout. So we're kind of just hanging out and and he's like, hey, man, I wish I could've seen more this year. I'm like, why I wish we could hung out, you know? 'cause I don't. If I'm going to be here this year or after this year because we weren't very good and I was starting tied in and we kinda kinda sucked. And I'm probably not going to be here, which we hung out more. I'm like, all right. You go sounds break and then I throw the ball to him and then he's all excited. And he comes back and he's like trying to rag on Eli, like the ball enough and then like the the whole thing. Well, there you hear a little story about the man seated to my immediate left that story issued a course by David Carr, handsome devil, one time first, overall, pick the Houston Texans. And of course he was talking about Martellus Bennett. How are you fella? Great. Actually like David cars because it's interesting. I'm from Houston, actually, ward, David, Carr jersey to school, no way. Tell Tell them them now. that you wish I could hung out with like he's like a legend in Houston for good reasons. But like I was a fan, he's like there. He shouldn't the Houston expansion team. And I mean, like I used to have his jersey and Andre Johnson jersey. Andre jesse's come my basketball games in high school. You're kidding. So it was like, is this kind of cool? What a funny, weird thing. And here I am see. I'm a cynic because when he told that story, David car, I said, we have wake up man. Martellus Bennett was just trying to do you into thrown him passes. But in fact it came from a sincere place. He did the Carolina Panthers game. I think he's talking about eating meat about five times because I was a check down, but. So he lied in throw you the ball nearly as much as David card. No, I was just trying. I was always taught to give the quarterback a little sugar so that you could get the ball a little bit more like a great like right then you, he, he's a sucker, but not. I love Eli, Eli was one of my favorite quarterbacks. Is that right? Got me a bonus one time. How so? I needed one more touchdown catch and to get my bonus as like getting toward the end of the year. And I just like I told him he was like, why are you wasted it to me? And then they called his play any switch. Despite of like me, wait in the huddle, you told them this. I'll told him on the sideline. Like before the game, you know, whatever. And then he was like an huddle. He switched to spas of me, Vic, and I got a touchdown and it was the, it was my bonus. He's, he's like, now you can pay me. I was like, I'll never forget. Forget that he did that for me those. Great. So there was no vague. You didn't throw anything back to eat lie for the effort there who just, I mean, he trusted me. He's like, oh, you should probably go right here. And he told me to say it was against the saints. I have so many things I want to Cape. It's with you about Martellus Bennett. I've I've long found you and I'm not alone in this to be perhaps not just the most interesting man in the NFL world. But one of the most interesting man in the world period you have a new..

"Who i won't cow rudolf if if his eighty is exactly the same altaeh coach rudolf okay martellus bennett and jacked oil round out our top twelve easily take hunter henry over martellus bennett there you go we all have martellus bennett ten twelve and thirteen i think we've talked quite a bit about the fact it it has aaron rogers hasn't produced a top 10 in very often now it has happened and i think martellus been it is super talented but he's not going to be as reliable as you'd hope from the tide imposition you're going to have weeks where i i dunno martell has been a might have a touchdown weak this year yes certainly but just like last year in new england there were weak so you can count on in the there were weeks where he disappeared he had weeks last year in the 40s many of them in the thirty so the had weeks at number three number one against cleveland in baltimore so i don't think that change is very much in green bay where aaron rodgers spreads the ball around and you're not going to be locked in our martellus bennett at the tide imposition yeah on a per game basis back in the day when he had dra michael finley dra michael finley usually was finishing a round the six tight end which is which is very good so the question is was it that he doesn't throw to the tight end that much aaron rodgers or was it he didn't have talented tight ends after dramatically finley left and we're gonna find that out this year but we do know that martellus bennett will catch enough touchdowns to be relevant but i don't know if will have enough receptions to be banked on as a starter on a weekly basis you know my worry with martellus bennett is not so much what does he do but what does he do to the davante adams and possibly jordy nelson drew a jordy nelson 's if.

"Progressing they're young quarterback oon and i think it you know he would announce on jaffe says that wide receiver as far as fantasy goes that you could actually draft in a later round without spending getting number one value in a later round i think he's that guy so he's my number eight move uh and that i'm gonna move oon too number seven and the whole same the rich gets richer this is no joke the rich are getting richer my number seven move uh is the new england patriots trading for dwayne island uh they lost martellus bennett but they always they have garang but the one thing that newington new england's in on us lake running on all cylinders and when they're there that they're most peak dangerous being as as dangerous as possible as when they have to solid tied ends and that's why they brought him are tells bennett and that's why they're bringing in the wayne allyn he slides right into that same spot that martellus bennett had as that number two tied an and being a numbered number two tight in most places is not necessarily where you want to be new england's number two tied n most tangible wore a lotta towns outperform most tied ends in nfl he's that he's a perfect fit i think he he'll he fits in well to the bella check system i think they made a good move which he you know new england always makes a great move so uh in this particular case the rich just get even richer.
