He's a number two for the saints with marshon lattimore. He's there number two corner and he's a talented guy. He's pretty sticky and coverage. He's four three nine he can run. He's got a lot of good experience and he makes a fair amount of plays but there were some demerits last year yet big suspension for performance. Enhancing that's major dang. Six games suspended for this game anyway. They kind of saw they can live without him and last year they left him home argument to blow up with the secondary coach anton land they got very heated to the point that their argument over coverage schemes really just took over that practice and they had to leave him home. They don't normally do that with player that they have to have. And they you know. He's that talented but there are a couple of things his contract. They got out of that. And as nicosia cereal i think give him a lot of credit. For is transparency is process oriented not only outcome oriented and that means getting draft capital which they need so to get a third round. Pick you basically by the pick you pay the seven million and you're still getting some cap relief and they don't really need that much of it but they did that and you get a conditional sick so they are starting to build where they have a chance to restock the roster with young players on cheaper contracts and that's part of you know it is what it is. I i talked about this Immediately after the super bowl last year is i remember picking the the eagles to beat the patriots and that super bowl and like i was kind of a loan on that and i said it was because they had better line play and when the line play disparity is as big as. I thought it wasn't that game. That's what happens. But then. I got high on patrick mahomes so high that i forgot things that i know to be true about football and like i saw the disparity in the line play and i'll like nah. I'm gonna keep smoking. This patrick patrimony and then we saw what happened so i think that that still applies in in this situation. I guess that's one of those truisms and football that you have to kind of accept even though is not something that you spend a lot of time. Talking about are thinking about is like if offensive line is not good no matter how good your quarterback and i guess the difference here is. We don't know how good this packers offense alliance. We know that is not as good as it can be. But maybe these guys are gonna come together and do something special but you should be. You should be concerned. It's a thing. But there's i think some of our belief i guess lack of concern about it again. We as zaidi comes from a couple of things one. They didn't play in their stars in the preseason so it wasn't like we saw eras being chased around you know but like trump laura through whatever by these rookies. They have their own rookie peyton turner who haven't seen like i think if the saints have a chance to stay in this thing it's going to start up front and they have really good linebacking group because in the back dominique. Do you know who is starting at corner opposite. Marshon lattimore Because i just looked at the raw you know. You shouldn't because they don't know it hasn't come out so i don't trap. You can't dare aaron rodgers to do anything because he's good enough to to even be marshall also to. You're really flat demonte. I've no you don't trust anybody. Two corner is good enough to to play good underneath coverage in and not have any holes because aaron rodgers as he displayed during the preseason in many drills and is he displayed throughout his entire career can throw a football at the ricki hall so the coverage has to be such that. I i mean it's it's a level of coverage that i don't think is possible especially from a team that doesn't know who their number two corner is going to be so they're going to need a tough spot unless they get pressure is all about pressure. They have a lot of young exciting players. Jeremy chan jc horn. Dante jackson if they if they can get it to come together. The defense could be to could take a jump. And i think that there's enough talent in his panthers offense especially that sam darnold can if even if he's just like neutral even if he's just average lee right there yet average that he is to good offense and so i don't believe it. I mean league. Average for sam darnold would be a mammoth fazakerley. He's been it's possible I love the schema. Loved the skill players. Do not love that offensive. Line in that removes consider for me other than like taylor. The entire left side line is an issue on the other side of the front seven. Actually we like Till snow their defensive coordinator. I think a really job but a lot of holes in that secondary. So it's it's they're interesting place because they're like a rebuilding team in many ways and they're very young But i think there is some pressure to compete now and also pressure. This is one of the teams. Where as you're watching the other quarterbacks tear it up in the preseason this the teams where the fan base does not feel great about that.
