"There are screws at the bottom. Here where you can take this off when you've worn out the tread and you can replace just this part of it which is pretty darn cool. That being said if. I don't need a shoe on this than i only need one shoe and that really stinks. Because of course you know. Running shoes are expensive. You can spend one hundred and fifty bucks on a decent pair. But that's not even the most expensive one and yet you're only gonna use one shoe because if using it for true running you'll never just wear them out and about with your regular running or walking leg so there are companies if you look into them that either will sell you a single shoe or there are some that actually have Random single shoes ready and i reached out to nike and nike sent me a really nice running shoe. I told them color scheme. I liked what type i was looking for. I was looking for like running my size the side of my leg. I needed it for my right leg. And they sent it to me free and so now. I have a really good nike running shoe that i put on when i'm wearing maroney blade so there's just these little things he's secrets that you should know about if you look them up and you look up Getting a single shoe because sometimes when you wear things like that you only need one shoe and it really seems ridiculous to buy one hundred twenty five dollars worth of shoes only use one of them so do some research especially if you are someone that isn't amputee and you're trying to figure out how to do that or if you know somebody let them in on that because that's really kind of important if we can save money that makes us You know fiscally responsible and That will also make us happier too because we didn't spend a fortune onto shoes and we watch one look to sit there and do nothing in our closet so i hope this has helped you. It is. I'm gonna wrap this up here and you know i always wrap up with a call to action if you've listened at the end of every show. I do a call to action. Because i want this to be an interactive program. So if you are looking for something that you can do. I would say look shoes that you are wearing whether you're an amputee or not because if you're struggling with problems with hips or knees or pains with your prosthetic or just hips and knees and your Not an petit. It could be the shoe you're wearing. Are you wearing the same shoe. Every day day in day out. Like i was and then using that to go exercise like cardio exercise in order to shift them out to you. Have other things that you can use like. I said i have three different kind normal everyday. Wear on the road and on the mountains so and then i also have a nike running shoe former any blade so my call to action would be..

U.S. Gymnasts Say FBI Failed to Protect Them From Sexual Abuse

"Four american gymnast. Simone biles michaela maroney aly rice. Men and maggie nichols sat in front of the senate yesterday. Engaged emotional testimony about the abuse. They suffered at the hands of former usa gymnastics doctor. Larry nassar and their feelings of betrayal by investigators particularly the fbi the fbi. Let them down big time. This is simone biles. I don't want another young gymnast. Olympic athlete or any individual to experience the horror that i and hundreds of others have endured before during and continuing to this day in the week of the larry nassar abuse. She said the scars of this horrific abuse continue and the impact will never be over michaela. Maroni told a story about sitting on her bedroom floor back in twenty fifteen and talking to the fbi over the phone and telling them all of the details of everything that had happened to her and then told the f. b. i. About tokyo the day he gave me a sleeping pill for the plane. Ride to then work on me. Later that night that evening i was naked completely alone with him on top of me molesting me for hours. I began crying at the memory over the phone. And there was just dead silence. I was so shocked at the agents silence and disregard for my trauma. After that minute of silence he asked is that all advocates for the young women. Say as many as one hundred twenty athletes may have been abused by nasser. they says l. erased men nassir found more than one hundred new victims to molest serving innocent children up to a pedophile on a silver platter. All we needed was one adult to do the right thing. I don't know if you guys saw this part of her testimony but she told a story about sitting with an fbi agent and him trying to convince her that everything that had happened. Wasn't that bad.

"Ups like it's nothing. Hypes talented swing gras. If i sat like for a month of the norm macdonald. Snl bet where. It's the two gangs to start dancing at each other. And he's like what the hell is this. What you're gonna find like why we felt it is what do mean you felt that you all were doing. The exact same funny to west side story is they're describing the weapons the gang fight they go. Yeah knives knives change zip guns. Wait a rubber band gun. You just set knives and chains. And i know someone surgical tubing stings. It doesn't kill you dennis. The menace walks away. Yeah yeah wilson's like should've been when you're a jet. You're shut up wilson. You missed the boat so anyway this is. I haven't watched this in its entirety but west side. Story they remaking. I'm just hoping that. It is not an unnecessary remake. And they don't do the auto tune thing they've done with all the other disney movies beauty and the beast. I didn't know you were such musical buff. Like this is crazy buff. I love right. yeah so like. You're talking about half. No the remake of gatsby where it where it had a not so great. Yeah where he was in a speakeasy to riana. Now you didn't like that realistic when everybody was dancing and like nineteen twenties model. Tie's on right right right right to the soundtrack of lord and joel like brett. Switch my car. it's the worst the whole movie. I'm just sitting there in my friend. Like why why. But why this why this hope it's not that well i hope it's not. He's not that that's a good point but you don't like that story the original so much hate it. I like the idea of it. I mean if. I'm going to go to play. Probably gonna see book of mormon for the fifth fourth. One's pretty damn good the good thing about west side story those i think actually and hope they don't try and politicize this again to device was right. Hey look you have four ricans Which is kind of funny. Because it's like there's half american and puerto ricans and you have really would probably be italians irish basically not puerto rican and it's really tough to tell by the actress. Has they really just took irish-american slapped a coat of paint on them. And a lot of so tanner. But the point is it was love even when it's clearly gay man and a woman who is thrown off a boat later on by christopher walken or wagner. That love conquers all. And that's a little bit generational. Natalie wood christopher vardi ragner and that is a that's why christopher walken weird. Don't know happen adult. We had soviak although robert wagner is the only straight man that can pull off a turtleneck. That's true it's a fact what's going on there. Andrew good was messing with her jack. Okay hold women always clean. Always tiny bones. The osteoporosis She's just sally field. Okay so let's watch this. Watch the west side story trailer. I'm a fan.

"You were effectively acting like al qaeda. It's a lot easier to do that for the fbi to go to look okay guy. Raped sexually assaulted one. Hundred fifty women gymnasts Did come to us. We thought they were drumming and Didn't do anything for seventeen months. How many women are raped. Forty over forty. At least to the best of our knowledge well are bad but not fifty right. Forty is the new fifty terrible. What isn't that. That's what we say here in the fbi. Well we do say that. John smith by the way we say it's twenty two also hindsight is the fbi's. Oh my gosh so and then you also have is easier for them to say look. We stopped we stopped al qaeda than it is for someone in the fbi to go to a superior and say okay. Two billion dollars in damages in over thousand officer casualties across the country. Dozens of deaths. That really got away from us. This is just. It's not that difficult. And i think that people the anderson is conservatives when you look at these problems understand human nature people are selfish and when you have these giant bureaucratic wings of government. They're designed around a socialist. Utopia that everyone is inherently good right. It doesn't take into account that people who are individuals. Want to go to their boss. And say i did a good job and it's a lot easier to say that if you stage something than it is to actually do your job and monitor what is happening across the country because that's random that's difficult. I know this because we've intercepted these communications accidentally and there are people at the fbi. Saying how'd you do that. How did you end up with a knife in your hand from antifa. How'd you end up finding the soft shotguns and their trunk that they're planning for ben shapiro. Man i don't know shouldn't you guys be telling me it's nature for individuals to want to take credit for wins and to try to take responsibility for losses. That's why the stories you hear about are generally. I don't wanna say fake but they're pre orchestrated and there. It's just it's quintessential distraction. We need transparency for these organizations to be able to trust the work that they're doing and right now. The fbi is fighting. In this case you're talking about with whitmore fox. Basically said his legal defense was i've been coaxed into doing this and they said look. We don't like your defense. We don't think it's plausible and so therefore we're not going to give you all the information. Look i understand that. It's important to maintain secrecy for the people who infiltrated this group. So that they can do their job later. fine. I just want access to the communications. What did they talk about behind their backs. Like what did they say that they wanted him to do. No we're not going to give you that information twelve to fourteen. Fbi to actual group. I thought this was like was that an infiltration house. This not us up together. It's just like the fbi taping guitar lesson posters to posts from alicia and pull off a number. I'll go to that. Should the governor wanted to learn how to play will learn from clapton on so bad. What else you wanna do now. Are you sure you want to do a little bit you. Little bit of raping and pillaging. Maybe not really my thing. Just like drinking beer and hating the governor. We got pipebombs right over here. Pipebombs touched that since college for me after one pipe bomb. I am done grabbed a guitar. Teacher be minor and let's not talk about that guy who was in a minor so you guys look. Hopefully that helps set this straight for you and this gives you at least what i wanna do is give you a compass going forward because you go forward again. I really really smashed that like that. Obviously matters but i want as many. This is the sample size. We're pretty fortunate here on this show to be able to have a big sample size with you guys in the action. Yeah how many of you know about planning on attending this. They're saying. I don't know anyone and by the way i move every party. I knew i knew somebody i knew. At least one person at any event i knew people when you were talking about know rallies for donald trump. I didn't. I didn't know anyone who went to the january. And i knew of one person who i mean. There's so many people just. They're supporting the president. He do anything. No of course there were a lot of people who has majority of them. I don't know anyone here though. I don't know anyone going sample study. Let's see maybe i'm wrong. I could be out of touch. Did call them all sorts of names for having the wall built around the white house's as well right when trump was in there saying he was a coward but is hiding and they were also sh- shooting and trying to kick down gate correct. Yeah so i don't know it's government building. That almost almost proves the reason for gate. Oh i mean yeah walls work you say shot up. Shot upset at the medicine look gold shoes sidewalk. We don't want anybody. No no no no no you. don't you don't understand. We're against walls unless they're painted of solid gold. It's just a quality thing. Yeah we have lots of it. Okay so before we go This is something that i do want to talk about steven spielberg look spielberg. I am a huge west side story. Fan flames you know when people get. Yeah he hasn't really had a great film since catch-me-if-you-can nick was that after. Catch me if you can. Yes yes okay and since munich fair fair i don't think spies was very good tinton take-it-or-leave-it just kidding leave it. Tinton his hair. But it's goes this comical. So who speaking of hair did he do. Ready player speaking of hair. What's going on cnn. Oh yeah no. Let's criticize mitch. Mcconnell let's bring on cruella late stage puppy coat that'll really stick it to mitch. Which by the way. I watched last night crew. Ella has anyone seen. I fell asleep. It was it was. I is it. Is it just me. Most unnecessary prequel ever. She try like we need. A human is the woman who tried to kill yuppies. I cannot sympathize very hard to sympathize with them stone short of that movie. Just being corolla decapitated in a ditch where someone traveled. Back in a delorean. Save the puppies for the coat. I'm interested and i fell asleep because it was so boring that i didn't see the redemption ark so it was just a spoiled bitchy. Wanted to kill puppies well and we know the season off the cliff. Yeah it's not in there for no reason whenever a movie starts like that. I'm like well there's the ending. Yeah and that's what happened. It was very well stylized. it will say it was. She's a good actress to. He's good but yeah i it was. It was strange. Because i my son and niece wanted to watch it. It's pg thirteen. I'm like all right and we and i'm like this is. It's a bit much bit much. also. I don't really know that your son is into a film about haute couture which is some other. No he was born to a son comes in. I made creme brulee lay next time. Just to be sure is have crew ella. And a pair of tits right. Yes well disney. And he's like Dinner on staffers on Not a fan not a fan. And that's what worries me about. West side story. Because i know people best musical. I think ever made bernstein. The competition is very complicated Try singing tonight when you look at the way they do this half notes. It's very very difficult. Very well orchestrated now that being said i hope they solve the problem that from the original west side straight. Little bit of a believability problem without more interested in banging riff than he was maria. Yes i think we all know a little bit if you didn't watch the original west side story just just in case the actual people out there who don't give credit credit's due to the gay community. Watch the little dancers do muscle.

Let's start with one of the reasons there in the news and then go through the difference between the fbi and what the stories that you've heard as served up all right now talking about on cnn. Well that's nice but they won't talk about the other stuff with the fbi. Look show what they're showing you in the subtext. You're missing at this hour. We're following to developing story and that's actually perfect fencing surrounds. Us capitol head of far-right rally. Here's the thing. I've been accused along with ben shapiro of being the gateway to white supremacy. I don't know anybody who's going to this far right. Yeah hi anyone who's talked about it at all. How you guys. Fbi we know what's going on the fbi failed with the united states gymnasts going to trust them. Fbi and say telling us about this far right violence right. Well here's the thing half those members or seventy five percent of the people at ten maybe in the fbi. And i will explain to you. Why numbers facts statistics that we have all of consulates and expect them to get this right when the money was reallocated to the fake kidnapping fund. This which really is surprising that they labeled it that put it in a trust so members of the usa gymnastics. They testified. what you've seen senate innocent larry. Nassar's abuse michaela maroney leaders. Yesterday had this to say and it's still going after telling my entire story of abuse to the fbi and the summer of two thousand fifteen not only did the fbi not report my abuse but when they eventually documented my report seventeen months later they made entirely false claims about what i said why are public servants. Whose job is to protect getting away with this. This is not justice. Enough is enough today. I ask you all to hear my voice. I ask you please do all that is in your power to ensure that these individuals are held responsible and accountable for ignoring my initial report for lying about my initial report and for covering up for a child molester and this is the f- this is the problem with the fbi. This is the problem with the cdc. This is the problem with millie. You know what's required for there to be accountability. Is that girl to stand up against the system. Is this show. Stand up against the system. Do you know what's required to keep your elected officials accountable. The ballot box. Assuming it's not moving. Retrained was his ballot ballot-box droid. I can't all republican ticket. Now for some guy standing behind you has eighty million right guy standing before you has a brain a billy club. That's really just to block in nicki minaj. Vote for trump. And then they just put you at a trash canyon came. Is this where this goes. It's new it's the model four point two. It looks like a recycle bin. Told him that. I told my change shape or what you're gonna do. So larry nassar was. Usa gymnastics doctor accused of abuse by one hundred and fifty six women. Wow wow that's bill. Cosby times bill cosby to me. She's no that's more that's its own. Is it almost square a square. It's bill cosby squared. it's bill cosby. It's bill cosby. Died and satan really wanted to play a cruel trick on him. He would show him like a matrix of heaven and bill o. Got a hundred and fifty six jim bliss and then like you know guys. We need to be clear. I discuss the other day. Bill cosby innocent. Yes this is absolutely true. So points hundred fifty six women. Let me rapid fire the so you guys get a full picture here. Two thousand eighteen nassar pled guilty to ten counts of sexual abuse. And we can back up there. Angeles people can see it when he began working at michigan state university nineteen ninety seven. The fbi failed to report maroney's testimony for seventeen months while at least forty women and girls and keep in mind this is. This is gymnasts seventy. That's the left's abortion plan. Yes that's what they do in virginia. Keeping away waste waste wastepaper out. So forty women forty women. Girls were molested after after. The fbi was made aware. So this is what they say if you can save one life and right now. They're putting up. We're talking right on cnn. Look bring this right up again. Bring it right up really quick volume just ramp up there. I fought that ready for all of this. You had matz yet. Over a year and forty more women were raped molested assaulted you did nothing so now. Let's go into the fbi. Does take credit when the media wants to praise them right now right now. Fbi cia american intelligence heroes Forty women who didn't need to be raped even though we already knew about the rules are kind of murky okay. This is not a one off the parkland. Shooter was reportedly. Fbi five months before the shooting there if they failed to tip a report the typical miami bureau able twenty twenty one fedex. Shooter was everybody. Fbi in twenty twenty. The fbi interview the boston bomber in two thousand eleven two years before the bombing they investigated the orlando pulse nightclub shooter for ten months before turning that he wasn't a threat to of the nine. Eleven hijackers shared a hotel room with fbi informant or four minutes before the attack. So this matters here because they don't do their job is s stanford fail it. I think it might. "One that saying. Yeah we think should booster and then i think the fda is saying we don't know so yes no. We don't know but when you got that vaccine. Let's say four months ago you saw out tv saying you don't need to worry about it. That's why everyone got mad because people got vaccines and were singers. Sending the wrong message. Tell people still wear masks so they said if you're vaccinated you don't need masks. We'll now that changed. So this is really a pandemic of people trusting blindly and then regretting decisions. Stick with your decision. Look anyone who decided not to get vaccinated. They're sticking with their decision. You decided to get vaccinated and said well screw you unvaccinated. It'll kill off the conservative voting base. Good then let them die. You can have what you want so. He was going back to comedians now. Christopher titus who has been on the show one of my early debates Comedian self. he's titus. But i i don't agree with I don't like him. And i don't find him funny but i appreciate the. I'm being stand funny but yeah he's kind of an asshole. I don't really think stand up at all. I think it used to be anyway. That's what does it doesn't matter look. You can find him. Funny my point here. I'm going to go through a list of comedians. Now emmy nominated emmy winning people who write for abc nbc cbs. Right the rebels attacking a fellow. Comedians saying i don't think i have the right to force you to be vaccinated and when we get to kobe right. I don't know if we wanna throw comedian. Yes throwing it around. Christopher titus says i want you to come to my shows i want you to be vaccinated. Don't come to my shows if you aren't if science facts and evidence doesn't sway you. You are too sorry if you have kids watching them in give you. This is not a trigger warning instead. I don't want three to. You are too fucking stupid to get my jokes. Enjoy jim breuer. Yeah because when i think christopher titus i think highbrow facts evidence cretaceous mean like when you came on the show seven years ago when you had no idea as to how many defensive uses of firearms at ticket place and didn't know what a semiautomatic was. That's cute stay with a buzz cut. No it just pisses me off to when somebody comes out and says it's like why are you taking a shot at a guy for making a stand. Well here's a colbert writer. Frank lesser well. I would. I would say aptly named you. So nothing He says. I tell jim brewer to stick to comedy but people are suffering enough already. I wrote that form. Did it not land emmy nominated and perfect emmy nominated this man. Well wow comedian. I guess frank cardiff tweeted well. It's fairness me emmy nominated for late. Show you don't. They just just four slots sort of a percent chance pretty much participation nomination as long as they keep keep. Keep us out of the full go. You can't be nominated even though you double their numbers thing comedian frank. Kind of three to one time. We'll talk about a number so it's just once we get the amount of cova cases down to jim brewers fan numbers. We can finally put the pandemic behind us. Well then good let them. I don't even know what this is this supposed to. Once we get the amount of cova cases down to. Jim brewers fan numbers. That's way too high off. The amount of people at jim breuer show thousands of people at every single show. You want to get the case load down to like tens of thousands per day. You must be afraid to little enough then. Letterman writer ben. Schwartz tweeted america needs laughter now more than ever so jim breuer refusing to perform his great news and keith. Olbermann got an how about this. You guys but i don't want to offer challenge for jim. Breuer you guys pick a venue in the same town on the same. That is jim. Bur- let's see filled up because this is the only argument to have right. I see christopher titus at least at the same joke over and over again because this is anytime somebody takes a stand. They wanted to say your irrelevant. And that's it right because they don't know what else to say they're all parrots of each other right. You're not popular. That's the argument which tucker carlson. He's playing theaters. But okay but you know what it's also let's say he wasn't popular science isn't determined. Truth isn't determined by consensus. It's determined by what's right that being said you wanna know who the bullies are. I don't think there's anything more bullish than hey look look look nobody likes you. They like us and it's even sadder when it's ally like no one likes you have one likes us with did they. All go and just a ring around the other side and fight fight. Determined truth is determined by hindsight's not piling on somebody. I know this is. This is just really sad to me. It sounds a little desperate to me to like. Oh they're like he's trending. Let's let's jump in on that. And all i'm a rebel. Yeah this is the kind of thing that needs to scare everybody because this is someone what is his crime. His crime is literally saying. Hey i'm just switching venues that allow you to be vaccinated or not vaccinated now. That's all. I just want to perform at venues that offer you a choice. And don't force you to get jabbed by the government and people who are supposed to be the defenders of freedom of speech and people are supposed to be the last vanguard of truth are saying no no. You must fort take part in forcing everyone to be vaccinated. Let's be clear about the arguments. Jim breuer saying. All i want us for you to have a choice. And hey that's what you guys said. You wanted choice right. Let the unvaccinated off. Continue with the decision that you made. When you got the jab. The opponent's here are saying. No no no no no no. Every single independent comedian must join the guild and force every american. Who wants to go out and enjoy comedy restaurant of any kind of music show right now. It happened with my parents. I think michael boob lay show. You have to take part in forcing everyone to be vaccinated by the way heartbeat. Bill is outrageous. And you guys you guys comment here this to me is that the reason comedy is a weather stick club. I've i've not wanted to be a part of for years because of this. It is amazing. I don't think there are people who are more spineless right now in this country than comedians. And that's because of the gatekeepers like you said therefore shows you cannot get in there unless you either meet a diversity quota or have the right point of view. I would be stunned if you can find two percent conservative. republicans working all in on the air anymore. Right it's all changed. The playing fields done the idea that even if you want late night what do you want to get out of it right. There's nothing there anymore. And you have an announcement to to make. Because you this kind of force you to look into. Because keep in mind jim jordan. The reason this change happened is he didn't know the venues set these rules. And that's kind of out of your control and then that force you to do some digging on one for you know it's the same. It's fans had been reaching out and telling me that they couldn't attend my shows because they weren't comfortable with the vaccine was same thing. I don't i don't need to know your medical history. If you come to my show. I simply make sure i ask go. Please don't have aids right which is fine. Especially if you're a gymnastics coach. Well that's how it is. That's how it starts. The fbi ignored a lot of tips. Not just the ones on. Larry nassar's fingers but here we go so you cancelled some shows. I'm i'm canceling. I show right now. There are a few that i'm that are in like california that obviously I would have no short canceling. I'm cancelling the stifle theatre in salina. Kansas on october twenty second. We're going to look for a new venue. They will give you a full refund. Don't worry about that if you did buy tickets. I know a lot of people did. But i had received a lot of emails from your area of people just saying that they were not able to attend because of the health restrictions. And when my agent book did that was not part of this right all of a sudden added. I started getting all these emails. And personally i just don't agree with it will also it's like look and i hope people out there again you can come. I know somebody getting into to stick if you bought tickets but you. You're going to get your money back. But they don't get to see you which is really what matters them to find a nearby venue right and hopefully we can no but the thing is here. Who do you want to be getting. Who look someone is not going to get to see the show. The point is dave now understanding the policy of these. I think we want as many people to be able to enjoy his possible now. Limit it so. I hope i hope people out there understand and you do have a show coming up still at carnegie music hall.

"We are going to talk about way. And i want to go because i want to give dave some time here. Now in relation to jim brewer. We have some announcements regarding. If you've paid for dave's live shows it will affect them. The ticket holders Sorry but i hope you understand. But i wanna talk today about the fbi. Just say no we're going to get to that Why the fbi is not really your friend. And i think it's important to delineate between the guys with guns and the guys at desks pushing pencils right. There's a big and that doesn't mean that guys can't do great work for the country pushing pencils. But that's what we're talking about unelected officials. Hey you know this. Is someone unaccountable. Someone unelected unaccountable who is undermining your elected president. Thus the commander in chief of the military then we look at the fbi. Most of the people who are heading this up they are not elected. They are not accountable to anyone the gymnastics sexual assault case which went on for years. And it's just the tip of the iceberg when you look at all of the fake stings. i don't mean i don't mean False false flag operations. What i mean is when a lot of the things that you've heard about the majority of them carrying them out. Insurrections were the fbi agents inside these. These groups were but then billions of dollars in damages and dozens of deaths. Nothing right self avowed terrorist organizations committing of violence. Nothing and that's because it's a lot easier for the fbi to go and say look we got when you when you stage a plot yourself than it is to go to your superior and say. We really failed to summer riots. Really got away from us better to be in charge of domestic terrorism than the government agency that invaded the wrong country twice. Yes i agree and got us all addicted to heroin. They did well. I mean there's a positive right. Yes no ghettos them. We can grow up. So jim brewers making the rounds. Jim breuer Well respected guinean friend number longtime friend of dave's And of course now is persona non grata and remember just like norm a year and a half ago. They did the same thing with norman. What was the attack nor mcdonald's still doing comedy and it was so transparent because of course enormous one of the most respected comedians. We all know this. We all know that enormous fantastic you may. You may not like his humor. But like i said there's objectively funny objectively unfunny and then there's subjective in the middle objectively. funny richard. Pryor george carlin. Your mcdonald's your. Jim brewers nor mcdowell respected immensely. By the way yeah about maybe up until two years ago you wouldn't find a comedian who didn't respect for now. He was one of the pure standups. Who really wasn't that interesting doing. Snl wasn't interested. He would tell you doing films. He did stand up. He was the stand up. Stand up and funny. Well he did. Yeah he did. Snl after he did uptown comedy club. Whatever that was short lived sketch. Oh yeah but yeah. He's known for being a standup. He's done one movie right. you know. that's it. How high even though. He hasn't touched drugs and decades. Because this is why he's a born again christian now yes well. He's his wife was a born again christian for a long time. And so is he yeah. He's relatively clean but he's one of those guys who before you go. Ah when you gone before him. He's just don't be filthy. But i don't care like he's all about comedy. Yeah that was always me too. I would say like look. Don't make it blue that than for me to go out. And you know cleaned up. But i did motor city casino with them and royal oak music theater and a couple of detroit dates. And he's He's phenomenal. He's one of the best storytellers out there. And yes up at you. Start seeing these terrible open mic comics or feature acts. That are like screw this guy. Oh he just attacking him. It's like if you got a phone call right now to open forum thirty over to get to the theater. Which brings us to react to a tic tac video of a lift driver. Who want to get it right so we don't sued because we have to be held accountable here. So here's a video actually now. Jim breuer under hot water because he's canceled shows at venues where he found out people were going to be forced to be vaccinated. He's been making the rounds. Let's show a quick clip from tuck last night. My fans were really upset. They said you know. I'm not comfortable with getting a kovic shot. And now they're saying. I can't come see you perform unless i do that and i looked into it. And that's the last thing you should be going. Hey you wanna come see this whole thing feeding the seal fish. Hey you wanna come see a concert. Or there's a new narrative and the new narrative is the unvaccinated or the beast. Kill the beast and when when our leader put that out there and pointed the finger like where the demons and that's a really good point. Yeah defying a at least a quarter depending on which numbers you use or believe of the nation who don't want to be forcibly vaccinated. Not even yeah by the way that quarter people are not. The vaccine isn't work right. What they're saying is what you told us. Howard stern still says it's secure right. Now you're saying prevent hospitalization. Now you're saying we may need a booster shot and rent the one thing. That is a refutable as people can say. I still think it works right now. But i don't know the long-term effects and that's a risk reward and what i think is most important here to keep side of his look. I think it was I don't remember who said this but he might have been norm macdonald who said that a lot of comedians wannabe rockstars There's a lot of similarities when you look at what they're doing the eric clapton look think how they used to have rock against bush right effects. Which is the easiest thing the world to rock against a republican and rage against the machine wearing the shirt of a socialist dictator who was not a revolutionary che guevara he hated black people hated gay people executed people without trial and was found in bolivia holding his rifle cowering which had never been fired. I'm worth mortar. You alive and dead. Yeah that's the rebel. He has a 'cause it's called being pussy. Always been the machine you put him on your shirt and now though. They're furious with eric clapton. They're furious with any rockstar or comedian. Who says you know what i don't want to do the bidding of the government and forced you to get back stated look. This is not someone taking a stand forcing you to do anything. This is a comedian. And now you have rockstars who are simply fighting for your right to what choice. Remember that word then you say party waiting aired clamps and we're always against the government that's what they were supposed to the -posedly. Yes but now it's transparent. I've always. It's really there against one party and republican democrat. Now look they set that up so you only have one way to vote and believe me i am not i do not want republicans to take our votes for granted but when you look at everyone including the people who rage against the machine who then campaign for the machine. Is there anything more machine than a politician who's been in office for fifty years. Who hasn't hasn't held private office. He's been suckling at the government. Teak meaning your for fifty years and can barely walk out to the podium without shitting his pants without swamp monsters telling them what to say and where to go and he admits that the two minutes telling me to go there and you are rating against the machine by supporting and campaigning for him while trying to squelch independent voices. Like jim brewer. Who just wants to do comedy in shows. Yeah and he also made a really good point that i think is getting overlooked. Some people are bringing it up. But he's like. Hey i had cove already right. I don't. I don't need necessarily this. Was him saying this right. So i'm not medical doctors saying he's like i i just don't need to get the shot. He's saying that no account is no credit is being given to people that have the antibodies right. So in that should that should be talked about. That should be studied to make sure like. Hey maybe maybe that's better. That's what dr patty was saying. He's like hey. It actually looks pretty good. We'll see how long it lasts. And maybe that would why. There's no incentive to create accurate antibody tests. But if you have the vaccine why are you afraid of getting the illness if it works exactly. That don't understand. There's no. That's why.

Simone Biles: 'I Blame the System That Enabled Larry Nassar's Abuse'

"Before we begin our next segment. We note that we will be discussing sexual abuse the testimony. On capitol hill yesterday was both angry and anguished for usa gymnastics athletes said law enforcement including the fbi ignored them and lied about them when they said they were abused by former team. Doctor and convicted sex offender. Larry nassar simone. Biles was one of the women who testified to be clear. I blame larry nassar and i also blame an entire system that enabled perpetrated his joining us. Now is marissa witkowski hausky. She's an investigative journalist for usa today. Who began covering the abuse scandal years ago at the indianapolis star. It's been six years since usa gymnastics heard the first allegations. And it's been five years since you and other journalists at the indianapolis star began reporting on this listening to yesterday's testimonies. What stood out to you. What lawmakers heard yesterday was the continued frustration of survivors. Who felt that their allegations against larry nassar had not been taken seriously enough. They had been calling for change in calling for accountability for the failures of usa gymnastics of the us olympic and paralympic committee and of the fbi former olympic gymnast michaela maroney in her testimony directly. Blame the fbi for not acting fast enough to stop by larry nassar. Here's her testimony. What is the point of reporting abuse if our own. Fbi agents are going to take it upon themselves to bury that report in a drawer.

"Our listeners. There will be descriptions of sexual assault here so if you need to skip ahead. Now's the time but with that. Let's go to christine brennan sports columnists with usa today. Abc news contributor. And she's actually been covering the story since it broke which is years now right christina. What stuck out to you about this testimony yesterday brad. The power is in the platform. A lot of what was said by. Simone biles and allie race men michaela maroney and mcnichols. A lot of it has been in reports or has been printed in newspaper stories and online it. Some of it was new but a lot of it wasn't. I've had to be taken in an ambulance. Because i pass out and i'm so sick from just the trauma and it might not even be after a hearing like this it just hits me out of the blue to have us be reminded of the horrors of larry nassar to see these incredible women especially simone biles. Everyone just watched her six weeks ago in tokyo and all that she went through there i worked incredibly hard to make sure that my presence could maintain a connection between the failures and the competition at tokyo twenty twenty that has proven to be exceptionally difficult burden for me to carry. It is a reminder That that this denver goes away. Never goes away for them and though it in that means it shouldn't ever go away for us and they're survivors of larry. Nassar have a right to know why they're wellbeing was placed in jeopardy by these individuals. Who chose not to do their jobs to date. No one from the fbi. The us opec or usa. Five Ways To Manage Constipation Even If Your Child Takes Laxatives

"Before I share tips on how to manage constipation. You may be good idea to just quick run through what is constipation and actually you know you may find that your baby or child has large stews and these are difficult to pause, and there's something called Burston stooge shorts. You can either Google that or if you go to my latest blog post on held babies and toddlers constipation, there's a link in that block pose on. How a picture of the Bristol stool shot, we basically grading of the different types of stews. So with constipation, it'll be more rating type one and type two rather stews either separated hawed and lumpy were they all sausage like but with cracks in it and that's conservation. Usually your baby child will experience pain when passing stools and generally if your baby pausing fewer than three movements but week and when they do a poo, if they are in pain discomfort, then generally that's a good telltale sign that they have constipation and is usually at this point, you probably have a chat with your child's GPO pediatrician and for children whether happened Sistan Constipation, they may have been described laxatives I thought we'd focus on laxatives for the purpose of today's block posed an podcast episode because it's the most common type of medication that's prescribed to manage the constipation. The ways of classifying. Constipation could be say. Less than a quarter of the stews all great ones are hard and they're quite separate hard lumps or grade to is lumpy sausage like Pooh that we've spoken about and very few students and less than a quarter of your students would be loose and watery. Some children and adults including older adults may also suffer from ideas and Bowel Syndrome is generally to affect about seven to fifteen percent of the population, and you know quite a majority of they may not even realize that they have insect of had long term problems with constipation. They may have some of these laxatives prescribed and IB sense to be more common in women. Than in men and the reason really bringing it up, is because it sort of wrongs in families. If women are more likely to suffer for my via. So chances are suspected you China might have ideas then you you know I the Mum or Dad may also have. IBS. But really. Many many reasons for constipation and in terms of ideas. That's more functional constipation. That's how the. is working with the GUT is working, and so these all of fear tips if you chocolate has never had a consultation with a pediatric, Don Titian and your doctor has prescribed laxatives to help your child Oakland bows and don't get me wrong they work really well so they should be quite effective in managing. But if you you know you'd thinking actually never really looked that out John's died and love to know what are some things that we need to focus on They are going to go through five things that you can try right now to help your Sean Open Their Bounds. So the first is of course fluid and this lawn tends to be overlooked often we you know we underestimate the power of good hydration and how it can affect your child's stools. If they are struggling to pass a poo and you notice that they also have very dark colored P or urine however, you want to say it or you want is imposing. There's been a reduction in the number of wet nappies. Then it may be time to think about the fluids. Especially, this week has been quite hot. Had A lovely Indian summer. Or delayed Indian weather if you like. So it may be that we just need to amp up the fluids and one thing that we found really effective so when I used to work as renal dawn Titian. And Age Ruins Hospital lovely rain on as used to give families in a four sheet of paper, and it would have say six to eight cups drawn in it, and it was actually the opposite. So often are renal kids particularly with advanced chronic kidney disease day will on fluid restriction. So the idea of having these cops. In the sheet with cops in it was that you know the kids could take than the each cops every time they had a couple fluid and a cup might be a sixty miles. Hundred and fifty miles or whatever it is that's been agreed. So they will have their own fluid allowance for the day. They were just ticket so that they could keep track of how much fluid the drinking and they don't go above their fluid announce it could be the opposite the if we we could use this nice eight four sheet with the cups. Pictures of cops in it by saying much encases China has six of three meals a day and perhaps two to three snacks. So get to make sure that they have a cup of fluid with each each meal and snack. Now, your might be completely different. So your child's Cup Maroney owed hundred mills in which case you may vary the amount of. Cups that he wanted to draw and I wouldn't get to walk down with how much fluids they need often if they're. Or urine is quite. Clear or Straw colored. Then it's a good sign that they are drinking enough and drinking more than what they need isn't necessarily going to benefit their constipation. It's more just making sure that they do get enough.

"Along side Tom Maroney into short sleeve and we're going to continue our conversation with Arlo Guthrie who were just listening to their US of a great question yeah you know it's I think like a lot of people when you think of Arlo Guthrie I know I do I think of the song Alice's restaurant but for somebody like Arlo Guthrie who has so many you know broad experiences in the music industry I think he finds it hard to be defined by one song so I asked him do you look forward to seeing Alice's restaurant well it in the same sense we were talking earlier about my knowledge of my father's work was different than the knowledge about the people that other people had of him at some point when I came around I don't know twelve thirteen I realize that the kids on the street that I was living and had a different view of my dad then I did how the schools that I went to that was singing this land is your land at the you know opening of the day in school I remember going to school and not knowing the word to everybody else did so I had to learn that the public has one view of you and you have another view of yourself so I had a view of Alice's restaurant that was closer to me but everybody else had a different take on it they thought it was important and we had recorded it for that reason in order to reach those people would say yeah here it is if you want it if you like it that's great but I never thought it was the best thing I had done and I have had to come to grips with over the years the fact that my opinion of it was not as important as everybody else's and that's just the way it is now the one thing that made it difficult was the length of it the thing was just about twenty minutes long so it's not a song that I was going to be do and every night of my life that would have been insane and so what I decided to do recognizing that it was different a dead had an appeal to other people that it might not have had to me was to do it on the occasional anniversaries the tenth anniversary for example to every ten years would go out and take it out for another two or which usually last a year a year or two and back in two thousand fifteen we took it out again for the fiftieth anniversary of the actual events that took place and this year we're doing the fiftieth anniversary of the movie that came out was calling Alice's restaurant also came out in nineteen sixty nine fifty years ago now right and so we're doing a tour that commemorates that which means we have to do the song but I wouldn't normally do it on normal Taurus except these anniversary Taurus tend to run in a line you know will we hear it the aspen on you won't hear at the S. one of what the orchestra gonna get just set there I wouldn't put that on a card for anything he's a friend and I wanted to remain a friend thank you bye yes more of our discussion with Arlo Guthrie you know he he said it's also he he puts Alice's restaurant away in the attic music then we take it out we check it out for fifty and we walk around the block little bit system it's a very interesting question you asked him Joe because some people do like to be defined by one grand opus but he moves on enjoy the conversation with them you know they talk about in life how.

"In or occasionally like underpants or new pair of pants or a shirt or something. And I'm like, how do you know that this is exactly what I want? So I have to be careful too. Because Instagram has my number for sure, I might need to stop fussing my data. Just so I could see this magic as I say that might actually be I opening for me. I have never received terrible Instagram Matt's great net rate, which is weird because it's the same company and they have the same data set. So why would there not be better ads on Facebook? Maybe it's a better. It's a better job of understanding what we like. Well, like with Facebook when I well like for my use of it that's different versus who. I follow. And what I in the discovery tab. I think about this a lot when I'm in the discovery tab. I wonder does it know how long I linger on a section of the discovery towel. I'm sure it does. And to tap on a video is going to take me more. Because actually Megan Maroney was tweeting the other day, she keeps getting this these ads for a mushroom coffee and hot first of all why would you ever do that to yourself? But apparently she's bought it. But she was asking kind of like she's gotten it. And then somebody else she knows has gotten those ads. How come they both? You know, we're getting those ads, and I think it's you know, it depends on who your following. And and what you like. And yes, of course, how they developed a profile of you. But maybe just for me Instagram has a better understanding of what I actually am interested in like, and my age group, and and all those things that applies. Well, I don't know. I think the difference is. Un-integrate and the ads are specifically designed in a way that like Instagram's visual platform, and it is supposed to be visually appealing in artistic. And so all the ads also thin to that profile as to not break the feed. That's a good point. I actually went Meghan tweeted that I mentioned that a couple of months ago, somebody just out of the blue mailed me mushroom a mushroom beverage. Oh, bud. Slash W. T R mud water. Yeah. It's an amalgam of organic earth. Grown.

"Nine days ago, the Muller probe was in its final stages. A spokesman for the office of special counsel declined to comment yesterday. But Muller's office has famously tight lipped about its operations and timetables, Grassley also talked about the report being a public document with the exception of Porsches at impact national security, and the privacy of individuals going on to say, I look at it from the standpoint, I don't care what the report says we paid twenty five million maybe thirty five million to do it in the public ought to know what their twenty five thirty five million dollars bought. Well, I agree with that. So there you have it in news, that's probably likely to devastate our Paul miles. Jaye law is getting hitched pointed out earlier. Yes to art gallery manager, cook Maroney, it's got a cool name C double O K E, which maybe because it sounds a lot like macaroni. I got hungry. When I. In honor of j laws engagement, you want to check on our video the day, which is actually going to go out via social media here in about four minutes. It's have you heard the term deep fakes deep fakes this this gentleman put together, a very disturbing deep fake deep in all kidding aside. It is a very disturbing very concerning. Issue. That's happening right now. The ability like we sell a bed liberating to take someone to make them. Look like, they say something they did not know. Well, this guy was just to show you how how well what this can do he mashed up. Steve Bush Evian, Jennifer Lawrence. Oh, no. Ever happened. And that's when you do you say to yourself that's enough internet for one day. It is disturbing an unnerving on several fronts because you see Jennifer Lawrence. But you hear Steve Bush EMMY, go to W, H dot com and take a look at it. But it's it's a big big concern amongst those in Intel circles in tech circles because you have the ability now to like, you could take words that you never even said Tony Cruz and use your voice put them together. And is is going. This is going to be a problem rest assured in years to come and not as many years down the road. We thought it was going to be oh, this is going to be a big problem for politicians. It's if you think the whole Russian collusion fake media thing was bad. This is it forty five thousand times stronger, and what we have fun with it or video the day. It is very concerning to a lot of folks in Intel sir should be you can. Right. You will have people saying appearing to say stuff that they never said that before and what will do to our industry, you knew how quick some of us can be quick to get something out there because we heard somebody say. And if they're able to deep fake say they deep fake coach, Chris MAC, and he says something derogatory about I dunno, Duke, whatever any that out there. Somebody in the media runs with it. I mean, this thing is a powderkeg waiting to unload, and you can see an example of it at W A dot com. Wait till political season. You get some of these. Yes, not the candidates themselves. But the the packs the kind of outside groups that run commercials, right? And they decide they need help construct something that moves the agenda. Well, even more scary with the way, it can be manipulated in a political speech and or ads because we already know there's not truth in advertising and political ads. So I'm saying this this thing is it is about to pen door's boxes about to be open. And once it's opened there's no going back. The only thing we're going to be able to do from our standpoint is just able to combat it. Hope somebody comes up with the technology that's able to combat this because it's it's going to get you know, it goes back to what we were talking about earlier this week guys in that is when. You see headlines at the press that governor Bevin called a teacher stugz. He did not call them dogs. He said there's a thug mentality. Protesters of one of the legislators that were being protested at their business is a completely different thing. That was being said so imagine now what this can do seven ten Kentucky this morning, News Radio eight forty W H as we go to the White House next.

"But nowadays, if something pops on my screen, I'm reading directly from the browser or directly for make Maroney's Tomlin because she can go on a nice little twit rant here and there, and it just gives you several minutes of reading right there. Thank you. So as I've mentioned, I do use safari reader view most of the time now, but it wasn't for a long time. I also had the issue of putting things in pocket, and then keeping them in pocket until they turned into pocket lint. And I just could never read them at that point. So for me it I realized that, hey, if I'm going to be into this. Then I need to probably read it now unless I'm super super super into it. But for some reason, I just can't read it now which case I will actually just text it to myself. I have just an ongoing chat transcript with myself where I store links, and maybe a photo that I need to quickly share to something else or what have you? And so I can scroll back in that. And see. And I know once it gets past a certain point, I'm not ever going to see it again. So it's like if you really care about this. Then you're gonna read it. And if you don't then it's going to go away, and that's fine. But there's no reason for me to keep this guilt pile and pocket. That's like see all these things you failed to read your monster. So yeah, I'm letting go of guilt and twenty nineteen. I'm Marie condo. Ing. The the read it later. Pile. And I'm realizing what sparks joy, thank you all for your answers on that. Let's go to our next topic which comes from Megan. I wanna talk about Marie condo. Ing your notifications. I do this about every I dunno every month or so ago through my notifications, get rid of all the ones that that not only don't spark joy, but they spark anxiety, and you know, some of that pocket gilts as well. But they still get out of hand. I have a very few notifications that are really helpful. And I tend to forget about the ones that are really good. I think about all the ones that I just have totally forgotten about in dismiss all the time. But I wanna know, Dan, what are the notifications on any of your devices that you can't live without? I'm so glad that US question because my desperately probably should slimmed-down vacations problem. I mean is start by calling it a problem the ones that I find the most useful though. I really love for example, dark sky is. My weather app of choice, and one of the things I really love about it is that it has very tune -able notifications, and you can decide like what types of weather. Do you wanna be alerted about? When do you want to be alerted like being able to set thresholds for that, very those various things means that it only tells me, I don't necessarily need to know if it's going to drizzle because you know, I be wearing a coat like I'll be fine villagers will. But I do wanna know if it's gonna downpour right? Like so that is a difference that that is important to me. So I feel like that respects my time, I probably need to slim out a lot of my news notifications to so those are the probably the worst offenders, but one of the other ones I actually really like. And it's gotten better is Apple's TV app. It's learned to a certain extent like which shows I watch, and it can let me know when there's a new episode of show that I watch which has also handy because sometimes I forget about those things because I watch way too much television. So I would pick those out to the ones that I really appreciate. And then this is sort of a Homebrew one. But if this then that the web service, let's you send notifications to the app on your phone, and I have it set up. So that when my echoed has a timer that goes off it notifies my phone because it was definitely happened that I've either had the volume down to low or I just didn't hear the time. We're going off. Now, my team has been steeping for like, fifteen minutes, and is terribly terribly bitter..

"It was a great salt pool poker Manche United yesterday, game post from Popa on Instagram, all always give my best to the fans and my teammates, no matter what's going on. Let's bring Julia Maroney into the conversation. Showy hashtag punk feelings, all the feelings. I think the feelings maybe getting a tyrant by by own was three-ton into prating, says by people around him. I think I really believe I want the war curb and maybe I cannot acquire summit and he's the complete opposite. It looks like was live Kombi normal cumby quiet a house to always be. He's on the buck pages of newspapers. Here in England, always has be. He's name on on TV shows like ours discussing it because there's always Cindy something. Maybe parties, photo, maybe polish Zimmerman, marinas formulas for or for other. No. But I think for me, post is You know, I'm I'm a bit. I'm a bit tired with everything that's going on back tinged show you give everything to my team to my club and to my funds for me. Yeah, he's a bit tired of everything that's going around him when I think he just wants to quite summit for once. Why didn't he celebrate Joe's. I don't know. It's a, it's a tricky one is is, is Marino maybe is the. Again, like we just said, is tired and he wanted to prove people room, maybe people who feel that all the things going on off the pitch of the fiddle. Those rumors or those allegations were bothering him and disturbing for that game. And he showed, but the way he played, he didn't. And maybe that was reaction an interesting one because you need put by being so extrovert is you usually he eastern and everything. So maybe there's something it'd be deeper than just or those rumors. Maybe it doesn't fill. It doesn't feel good about about everything that's been written when like we sit on this show last week, you know, he's happier United. You never asked to leave in for more money yet is always on the back pages. It's always about him, and I think maybe not celebrating was, was him showing against do his job because Tim do his job this everything that's been going on Jamaica staving. I think he's probably just a little angry that things have probably been written and said about him. The will not be correct. And the best we can. Put the ball in the back of the net. I think that's probably why he was. So he was. He was so stand with John Chaz. He was taken it. He just wanted to show everybody up. I think it's just a little bit of anger of telling us
