"Like the Browns offensive line. Like the Browns football team. There's still that concern for me. What happens when they go up against league competition? That's still my concern for the Cleveland Browns. The Colts. I think that most they want a playoff game. Or maybe two. Have a very good defense. We know they could run the football. With Jonathan Taylor. Name Heinz. Unfortunately, Marla Mac, can you imagine more than Mac whistle on that team trace? Yeah. Three headed rushing attack right there and the Indianapolis Colts. They have a very good offensive line. Rivers has actually been better than what I thought he would be this year in a big spot, though, and I'm something that I think Philip Rivers will be Hall of Fame quarterback one day Just can't trust Philip Rivers in a big spot. Miami. I'm still questioning if they're gonna make the playoffs, Miami's a team that they make the plans. Do you want to see him wild card weekend? If they get into the divisional round, though, and they win wild card weekend. You can't really expect him to do much of the division around. I think maybe Team that is trending in the right direction, a team that I fully expect to win out and we'll see if the odds fall in their favor. Maybe they dropped one last two, which I can't afford to do You look at the Baltimore Ravens at nine and five right now. Let's just say Baltimore Is playing wild card weekend against the Steelers. For the last time the Ravens played the Steelers Steelers went up against the Ravens team that was just a pleaded and was decimated because the cove ID Right now. I wouldn't even hesitate in that game. I take the Ravens all day. And the Ravens are team that early on this season. They had a lot of concerns that weren't playing well. They weren't living up to the hype. They have a good defense. Mom are starting to settle in here, adjusting. I like what? I'm seeing it out of the Evolution in his rookie year of JK Dobbins. Offensive line, getting better remember, they had to replace Marshall Janda and you lost Ronnie Stanley. So They are. Team that's moving and trending in the right direction. We're Pittsburgh. They impressed you're early on. They impress you 1st 678 weeks of the season. Baltimore not playing well. Now they look totally different If the Ravens played the Steelers wildcard beacon. I don't even have stayed. I think the Ravens in a second So I look at this with all those matchups. Steelers will lose. During blank, wild card weekend divisional weekend Conference Championship Weekend Super Bowl Sunday. I can't even contemplate or think about Conference Championship Week in a soup bowl Sunday anymore. And so far 2% Conference Championship weekend. 3% Super Bowl Sunday. So that discussion is really wild card weekend in divisional weekend. But the Steelers win a playoff game. Yeah, they could win a playoff game. It depends on the matchup. But with how loaded How good the SEC is, from a wild card perspective and what's operate that the Steelers not a lot, but let's operate. The Steelers still win the division. I'm gonna have a tough matchup wild card weekend. This is not one of those years where you go get 12 wins. If they you'll snag another winner. Maybe this night tomb Or maybe surprised people beat the cold. Speak the Browns and they get to 13. When you get to 13 wins, you get to 12 wins. You expect that? Maybe you get a lighter team. Team that is maybe easier to go up against wild card recon. That's not gonna be the case. I don't think there's a lot of elite teams in the agency, but there's a lot of very good teams. And right now there's more of a reason to believe in a team like the Colts. The Ravens. The Browns. The bills. Then the Pittsburgh Steelers. There just are And the only three things that we know for sure in the A F C right now. She's there and they want to division. Hills, Aaron. They won the division for the first time since 1995. Steelers. They're in the playoffs, but they haven't clinched the division. So the Steelers could potentially be one of those top four seeds is division winner and solve a tough matchup. They found him to the wild card weekend. And they're still gonna have a tough matchup. Out of all these teams if you're the Steelers I don't want to see Buffalo. You probably don't wanna see Tennessee. You don't want to see Cleveland. You play the Colts this weekend, so we'll get a better answer. You probably don't wanna do the Ravens even with beating them twice. Maybe the Miami gives you the best opportunity because we don't know what to expect that of a young to a tongue go by law. We know this, though. Miami shows up each and every week. They have a damn good young football coach and Brian for us. So right now, if you're asking me to the Steelers won a playoff game. Is it possible shirt? I don't think it's possible they went to the right now. I mean to say the Steelers was wild card weekend. As I look at that, that team there are things that you just can't correct right now. They have made to run the ball throughout the year. What? I'm gonna wave a magic Ron wanted they're gonna be able to run the football. No. The offensive line has got.

"Welcome to the fantasy football time podcast I'm your host Jake. With me as always are Tyler Hollerbach and Matt Wind. What a crazy week one of the NFL season we had there was points flying up and down the NFL scoreboards. But welcome into the fantasy football overtime time podcast, we are going to be recapping week one. We're going to give you a couple of waiver wire targets as well. But today we're going to start this episode with an apology and Matt talking to you I apologize for Rippin your Naim Naim hines take because. He came out and he had the first touchdown of the Sunday night slow Sunday's game slate and he had a second touchdown later and now Marlin is injured naive hines is for real. He's not going to the team fancy points, but he's for real. So I am sorry I'll Jake I accept your apology. I appreciate your policy I was going to blast you for that. Later you Kinda just took away my ammo stole the thunder I. Knew that was coming. I had to take away your steam before you got. Guys you far into it but yes, public apology I agree with you originally when my take was to it was that both Jonathan Taylor and Marla Mac we're GONNA eat into each other with the fact Mac being out for the season jt could beat him in fantasy points but I think both of them are to have a significant boost to what we originally projecting. To, Jonathan Taylor or nineteen hines owner and fantasy football absolutely predicting Melvin Gordon Austin type situation. How about you guys I think we're going to talk about this later but let's talk about it. Now I mean name Hines if he's not if he's available number one waiver retarget, right? Yeah. One hundred percent I'm I am over paying whatever I think I need to pay to ensure that I get him especially in PDF format it may be a little bit more questionable standard yeah. One hundred percent NPR league. Aggressively target him in Standard Leagues I'm still going after him,.

"Ask they expect him to come out in win and he needs to chief. Team has struggled mightily against That's definitely something to keep an eye out for when you're defending. We've got us in the last last two weeks now. The Ravens were able to get outside on the chiefs and really hurt him on the edges last week. The lines ran a Lotta outside zone these stretch around but they were banging it back inside a lot because the over pursuit was coming. She's got a fine the mid line they gotta be able to stretch the runs out on the outside. Defensive ends or your linebackers got a hold better contained contained forced the running back to cut back inside within. You've got to have players at home. They just got to be more gap. Sound or the colts can really get going here and they haven't shown the ability to do so yet. Yeah Yeah not at all. MARLA MAC frankly terrifies me in the same way that carry on Johnson terrified me. They remind me a little bit of each other's their ability to cut cutback against the grain as well as stretch it out if Marla mack cannot go which he hasn't practiced so far this this week nine team hines is going to stretch run. He's not tween a very good athlete. He's not a between the tackles runner that does make it a little easier for the chiefs because because you know some of those cutback lanes and things like that that are getting blown wide open hinds isn't quite as dynamic isn't quite as able to or or any doesn't have that vision to cut it back. He's going to try and get to the edge as much as possible. The chiefs have to be crashing down on those they can kind of live out there with some of their alignments. It's a little bit and try and win that way like Matt said get Frank Clark up the you know up a little bit having disrupt same with Alex Oak four manual but those you guys have to win this week in the run game because if MARLA maximum out there the wrong trying get naim hines into space as much as possible Craig the guy was going to say yeah. I don't think Marlin I don't think ninety nine scenes sees it as well as Marlon macktaz flat out. He's more of a pass catcher type player in space player like you said so. I I totally agree there but the other thing about you know the run game for the colts. They have a really good offensive line that one of the better offensive lines in the national football colleague so this is a very big task for this group. The the front has to play well. They gotta play well this week. Frank Clark. We're We're going to see what we're going to see. What what you're up to this week. It's going to be a big challenge. Okay one other thing that you guys have been in kind of keeping an eye on is one thorn hills usage looks like he got pulled a couple times last week against Detroit Mattie yeah and I've been trying to figure out if there's any rhyme or reason to what he's getting old out. You know getting having a coach. Come out and tell us for sure and it kind of seems like a drive. After there's a coverage bus that you could potentially put on one thorndale. He seems to come out the next series. Maybe they're talking to him in the sideline letting them see how it goes maybe they. I just feel more comfortable putting Daniel Sorensen back in the game instead of thornhill just to make sure things don't get out of hand but it's happened a few times now. It's not a lot. It's just about one one. Maybe two series a game that one thornhill just kind of takes a quick breather on the sideline a hopefully he's talking to coaches getting to see how somebody else like. Sorenson who's the NFL veterans veterans running that same defense something else so it keeps creeping up into my mind. I wonder if there's a correlation to win..

"Eighteen plus carries la- gear blunts utilization was huge. So I I mean, I think I need to move Sony Michelle up in my own mind because I am still stuck in the world where I don't believe Sony will be consistent. But you know, we have data to suggest he might get fifteen carries every single game. All right moving on to Marlin MAC. I call them Marla, Mike because he's Mike sky. We all have Marlin MAC at sixteen now. One of the reasons I think this show connects with listeners that you've told us is that we're not sitting here just giving you advice without any context. We're not you know, we're in leagues where very passionate about them. I enjoy beating these two gentlemen, very very much now in one of those leagues the Marlin MAC owner he's actually here today. He's behind the scenes longtime friend his name is Brian. He owns Marlin, Matt. He is here. Listening to the show. It's at this time. I would like you to please take off your headphones and not listen to. Well, no, no, no, no. After looking into Marla MAC, just even though some shade on them. They're going to be able to acquire Marlon half to throw a little bit of shade on. It's it's funny that he comes right off the heels of Sony Michelle in the rankings 'cause you're talking about the exact same player like the exact same role for the colts. When he came back from his injury. Seventeen carries a game eighty yards averaged a touchdown a game. But in that time, he was averaging one and a half receptions per game. He was an absolute monster when it came to getting carries in the red zone and the ten zone, but Naim Heinz had that pass catching role on lockdown. So if if you going to hold up to being a high end fantasy running back it's going to be all about the touchdown. So that's why I keep talking about the colts. As I want the colts running back. I'm not. Necessarily buying into Marla MAC what he can do. I'm buying into the colts offense. I think that they will they will continue to be one of the stronger offenses in the league. But the fact that they aren't utilizing or they didn't utilize MAC in the passing game, which I think he can succeed in, but they like Sony Michelle Sony can succeed in that role too. But they have James white. So why throw him the ball? I see I don't really worry about that. Because we've seen Marla MAC utilized in the in the previous year with heavy volume six targets game five targets game. And so we know he can't do when Naim Heinsohn there. Yeah. Sure. Very very different situation. And you also have factor in when you know, the games as they stacked up Marlin MAC was in the game. I mean, they were head. They were winning. There's fewer dump off we were gonna play different regime, though. Like this. This was Frank Reich was his team was look. Let's just look then at so this is the one thing I would say in his favor. Right. Okay. Marla MAC played how many games ten twelve game. Like that hold up his sixteen game pace with that regime. You're right only twenty three receptions. That's not great. But he was on pace for twelve hundred yards on the ground. If you can do that plus double digit twelve touchdowns for a great offense. That's going to be in good game scripts. Yeah. I don't think the argument here for Marlin MAC is to make the case that he's going to catch a ton of passes the same way, I wouldn't make argument with Sony even think Sony can't catch the ball a little bit..

"So I still think that there's a a way for Marla MAC on the colts actually have a pretty productive day today. I'm not entirely sold on the Texans. Just from the standpoint of I think they can be hurt with screen games. And I think they can be hurt by the deep ball as well. And as I said the run game. Yes, it looks good in spots. But they've been gashed on the run at times this season two. So, you know, they're numerous factors here. But I definitely would be taking the culture. But the one thing I will say about this game is that this should be the highest scoring game of the weekend. I'll be slightly surprised if it doesn't end up being the high scoring game. It's got the highest point total at forty eight and a half. Half. I actually expect that total be over. I do think between these two teams they'll be able to air the ball out. And I have confidence that the Shawn Watson being able to find ways of getting the Android Hopkins. The ball, you know in the NFL the season Hopkins had over one hundred fifteen catches and zero drops. And yeah, maybe I just jinxed him, but the man just bawled out the entire year. And I just think that we're going to see a show between him and T Y Hilton today I- Hilton has torched the Texans in both matchups this year. I expect more of the same today. Realistically, the second. There is the weakest part of Houston St. fence and there's nothing about this game today. That tells me that the Texas have figured out a way of stopping Andrew luck the culture gonna throw the ball. We know this, and I do think between Marla MAC and. Name Himes the colts are gonna find success with the running game as well. So I just think that the colts are to balance on offense. And that's what carries them through to next round. You know, realistically, the NFL would be pushing for a colts cheese match. Just 'cause I mean, Andrew lucked versus a Patty is Patrick Mahomes. I mean that cell cells TV, right then and there I mean, there's no getting around it to obviously with Cosby and sixty they they would play the cheese outright. If they were to prevail today. And you know, if the Texans wind in their automatically locked into playing they're automatically locked into playing the patriots of should be interesting up. And we'll see we'll see how it goes today. But I'm curious. Curious to see how the Texas respond because you know, as I said, they have been perennial pretenders for a number of years. Now, this is the fifth time in eight years. The Texans have played the Saturday Saturday while car match up and each time the Texas find ways of looking even more pitiful than alas, and yes, I know their quarterback injuries in different excuses. You can label on it. But you know, at a certain point a team just has to step up and get it done. And that's really all. I'm looking for here. I'm looking for Texas actually, show me something that gives me a reason to believe in them moving..

"But I really don't feel that badly about it. I know I I'm surprised at how how minimally my perception of them was impacted by losing football game twenty three to nothing. Yeah. I think we just kinda got seduced them when in five straight and playing this out this mind football when you look special defense, and what Marla MAC of Indianapolis Colts running back was able to do this defensive front, and I think everyone does throat this. They continued the surge and sometimes you gotta get kicked in the privates to come take a breath. And definitely they the colts zapped the energy atom. I was surprised. I was surprised that they got shut out. And I was surprised the it was an ugly football game. There's a lot of penalties. And again, a lot of missed opportunity is on the Cowboys in in that's kind of going back to their football past where we. We met when they were three and five and you just don't like the see them revert back to that. Now, it's well said, but you know, what I do think is for the first time in a long time. They looked like a football team absent of Chavez Frederick absent of competent left guard absent of Zack Martin with an ailing tyrant Smith and Lyle Collins, they looked like a team that was missing players, and they hadn't look like that for over a month. This is the best possible into about. I think with you. You're the perfect person for this. Because so much of what I think people are analyzing the Cowboys is subjective. You know, there is this. Oh, it's good to get gut. Check. You know, I it's good to get kids in the privates. As you said, but nobody really knows unless they've been there. And so I'm curious for your thoughts as a former player former cowboy as a former athlete. I mean athlete now is just maybe your take on life is this good. I mean is this something that, you know? You can take that you maybe that you need. I mean, what are just what you know. Because there's a lot of ways to look people say, and then there's also people say, no, I want him to keep looking great etcetera, blah, blah. I mean, what do you think? Well, this isn't the eighteen year old boy asking a girl out and gets rejected or gets heartbroken twice. You know, this is a season where you don't need these type of humbly moments going into two weeks left in the season. Now, maybe during the three and five run when when they weren't playing very well. But I just think this part of the reason it happens, but I discuss Asli guarded against things like this happen. And I think in you brought up the offense a line. I understand that. They're missed a lot of the integral part of their offense in line. Zack martin. I don't know what his status is seems to me as I football game. He's missed I heard and ever since he was in pop Warner and going back to flag football, which is crazy. So you're gonna have. Those those those things happen in had to fight did adversity the thing that really kinda surprised me. And I know that you talked to play with that much energy is to be able to continue that and what's on the line. It's a lot easier to be motivated what's ahead of winning the NFC east on the road. And maybe they made there's a little bit too. Just not given the colts enough credit. But as we talked about it last week. I mean, a colts are hot football team Nasc everyone now after watching them play the Cowboys, you know, Andrew luck as tremendous quarterback their defense ball. And as I mentioned Marlin MAC had on hundred and thirty nine yards rushing on twenty seven cares. We had not seen that it looked like this defense is normal. And they have not played that way all your law. I just I feel like I think it's fair to say the Cowboys did overestimate the colts our underestimate the concert say and how you do that I in not trying. I mean, how do you underestimate or any you know, it comes down to this? And I'm not I didn't mean to interrupt you bone it. When people talk about, oh, you know, like Zeke made a comment like we'll maybe we need this..

"And this is a matchup against Cincinnati on the Sherpur twenty eight. You've not giving players juice all year. He's got a matchup against Cincinnati. That is as good as it gets. I think you're for touchdown. I think you're good for close to one hundred yards you'd play him over Acklin both view. How would you both blame over because that's all I've got all week. And when Mike and I had the waiver show. It was I if I had I wasn't going to go out and spend a priority on Justin Jackson as of right now. I still have Ecuador ahead of Justin Jackson in my rankings. But I'll tell you who I would play Justin Jackson over. I would play. Justin Jackson over Marla MAC over Josh Adams Holman over Jordan Howard. But I'm not gonna this is the start of the week for those that, you know, you squeaked in the playoffs or you have Melvin gorge. You lost Kareem you lost Melvin any one of those situations where you're scrambling. He is I would rather, you know, don't throw Dion Lewis back in the lineup. Put Justin Jackson, if if you've got your for nets. And wears and dalvin cooks, and Tariq Owens start them. But Justin Jackson belongs in playoff matchups. Here ahead of those. Guys that have been disappointing you weaken and week out. Just go with the new hotness. In a great matchup up. I'm gonna go with dalvin cook who is seemingly in a bad spot against the Seattle Seahawks. They've actually been giving it up to fantasy running backs. And I know that was that you look at the box scores of who the heavy hitters. But then Jeff Wilson. My name is Jeff me like Jeff wasn't as I was thinking about this on the drive in. Jeff Wilson is the ghost of Sean drone for the San Francisco forty Niners of the the big salad himself. Oh, who's just giving. You absolute incredible volume. Like, he was perfectly fine and Dovid cook looks healthy..

"Percent of leagues basically and two hundred percent two hundred percent leaks. He dominated in college me and north western. Yeah. No. He was good backbeat trashing in the preseason member that. Yeah. Amber, we were all surprised, but he looks great in this past game. We were a little surprised when he dropped to the seventh because going into the NFL draft. He was one of the guys that was like, yeah, he has he has he has some juice. He could he could make it in the NFL. So now, he's got an opportunity. That's what you want is running back. Juice. Yes, I feel like that's been the that's been the refrain for two weeks, you want juice. Well, you don't want. You know, I'm Meltwater. I don't wanna plotter if you like legare blunts got milk. You know, look Luxair blunt. He's on the sidelines. Some guys get Gatorade. He's getting whole milk drinks. Yes. Down on all milk on the sideline. And then he goes, you got the whole milk was a bad choice moment sometimes spring for milkshake. Oh, sure. On the side of the boys to the yard. We got to bring up. I Carlos Hyde as well. TJ Elden because it's the colts in game script. You know, you you don't know how that game's gonna go. If Andrew luck is able to do what he doesn't throw three touchdowns because he just does that then yelled and might be more involved. But I do think hide is well, first of all he's more widely available yelled news prefer if both Jags running backs were there. I would take hide over your pretty good match. Indianapolis nineteenth against fantasy running backs Brooks. You and I are faced off in a very important dynasty league match up. I don't have any wide receivers left. Would you allow me to play Carlos Hyde and the wide receiver spot is that something you'd be willing to throw? I don't think this system all out. Oh, wait. He's if but what if you what if you could do you do it? Now. There you go stand up stuff. I love it going down. I think I am on the other side of that ball Marlin MAC, reminder he did exit with a concussion has the full week as far as I know Marlowe MAC does not have the concussion history that you'd be concerned of missing Sunday. But he certainly could. And if Marla MAC is out similar to like, courtesy Bula funchess is out. It's I love Curtis Samuel. If Marla MAC is out while I don't love the matchup Naim Hines in replacement when he was the featured bag he was putting a serious fantasy points. So he becomes immediately. Interesting. If Marla MAC is to miss. Yeah. I mean, the matchup is not great. So I don't love it there. But you're right that he's he's going to be the back to own Jordan Wilkins who started the year. As like, hey, we're going to give him the workload. Right. He has shown that he he didn't have enough of what they were looking for. And he fumbled again. And he's had a he's had a little bit of the Itis. So I would I would certainly lean name Hines. But I I do expect Marla MAC to be okay. All right. Other names, you guys want to bring up just I would say handcuff watched please Spencer ware geo Bernard Malcolm Brown. Those are absolute must own guys. And then guys like Wayne Goeman from New York rod Smith, the backup in Dallas and Rex Burkhead. So I think that if you have the starting running backs from any of those teams listed you need to start protecting your lineup you need to have points going into the fantasy playoffs. Tide ins, let's talk about some tight ends. Look I didn't bring him up early because I knew we talk about him again right now, which is Johnny Smith Johnny Smith last night one play. Yeah. One catch sixty one yards in a touchdown. And I guess you had two catches or two yards after the big one. They just didn't. They never went back to them. It was very bizarre. Why in Marietta was twenty two twenty three on the nine mostly short passes? You surprised that he didn't get more ball? Very. I mean, Joe is a great athlete. You know, we said I think it was on yesterday's show or or maybe it was last week's about I like Joni. But there they they don't utilize him the same way that they were using utilizing Delaney Walker..

"What Carolinas doing what Minnesota's done this year where the defense is just it just hasn't been able to win games on its own. If things don't go rhino on offense. But Christian McCaffrey is a fantasy beast. Yes. Do you want in a dynasty league? Let's put it in context. Who do you wanna head of CMC in a dynasty at the running back position the way he's played this year? I mean, he is girly. Take one Barclay k Ezekiel Elliott, then Christopher can you still take Zeke over Christian, McCaffrey. I would. Yeah. Okay. Who've. Yeah, he might be Kareem hunt, right or Christian McCaffrey in a dynasty. I'd probably go Christian McCaffrey. But I mean, they're in the same the same. Yeah. That's that's very very close. I bet they it'd be back to back. Yeah. The pass catching just makes me feel like the shelf life in a dynasty league of Christian McCaffrey is very very long, Nick Chubb. Yeah. One eight eight. But you know, catching a couple of passes every week now caught a touchdown pass caught a terrible. I mean the touchdown pass. If you haven't seen it he jumps up the ball was thrown behind the defender, and he wraps his hands around does one of those like, I caught it on the other Sager Baker put it where only Nick shove, Kat it. That is true. I mean, it was a two percent probability that he could catch that pass. But only Nick shove could catch. It Kenyan Drake. They was eight thirty two and a touchdown fine for sixty four through there and a touchdown only or only gets thirteen touches, you know, there are certain players this year that when you watch them like I been I'll openly admit I was wrong about a couple of guys. Like Kenyan Drake is legitimately good player. He's a really good like he's somebody that I didn't believe in. Now a lot of that had to do with platoon situation. But it also had to do with the fact I didn't think he was a great player. I think he is a good player. I also think I mean, Marla MAC is the the other one that kind of looks a little better than I thought he was going to look on the year, the tone of Drake, a I guess it was never a question for me. But Mr. be whole just doesn't use them. Look thirteen total touches for Kenyan Drake when he's having an absolute monster game. I think my official stance. Now when people ask should I start Kenyan Drake when instances is going to be sure. 'cause it's so. Hard to recommend a running back. That's going to only touch the ball thirteen times. But he just keeps exploding. Yeah. I mean, you if you want the big games from Drake you have to be able to play every week. You gotta you gotta play him every week. And hopefully, he's you know, that flex type guy that you put in there, and you know, when he busts he's still gonna end up with four or five points, which stinks. But when he explodes he could have thirty plus fantasy point 'cause the level two weeks ago. Twenty seven rushing yards eleven receiving yards three weeks ago nine rushing yards while he was he is still is going up. Yeah. I was going to bring that up..

"The jets win forty to thirty four over the Indianapolis Colts. A really interesting storyline developed four Indy. This backfield split Marla. MAC basically has his first full healthy game of the season. It was a MAC attack. Twelve eighty nine yard that for Khalil clear Mak Matthew, but twelve offense. A MAC attack. Twelve Rogers eighty nine yards for Khalil Mack plus one catch for four yards that as compared to ninety. Mm, hind to three Russia's for fourteen yards. Two receptions for twenty one yard. Here's the snap count difference Twenty-nine for Hines. Twenty-three for MAC. Do we think that we learned how the colts want to have their backfield operate going forward? Matthew. No, here's here's what I think. We got some clarity on Moreland Mexican be thing. Okay. This is a bad game for Naim Hines. He drops a pass in the end zone as well. That certainly did not bode well. And I think it was interesting that Marlin MAC and this is what Marlin MAC is hit. Three different carries yesterday that gained ten or more yards. And so he's a home run here. That's what he is. And it's one of the things on a team that currently lacks a lot of playmakers as we await the return of t. y. Hilton. And so on a team that doesn't have a lot of big playability. Yep. Here's a guy that has some big playability. And so I think what you saw is nineteen Hines who only gets three Russia's in this game. Got five total touches, but you know the previous week he'd gotten some work between the tackles, the crushing for nine Hinds is the colts through a little. I mean, we're talking like Andrew luck bunted from the one yard line and he's wide open the end zone and he jumped for some reason the ball just right. Yeah, he's had a couple of those issues, a rookie. It'll get better. But I will say this for me it. It was notable that Marla Mak played as much as he did. The volume was there. He was fully healthy again, good on the colts to sorta hold him back until they felt like he was a hundred percent and to your point to find it. He was somebody that was off the injury report. It wasn't like he was going to be a game fish in or that there was none of this dalvin cook. He'll be on limited, snap count or anything like that. So he was off the report seems to come out of this unscathed. And I think. I will have Marlin make ranked ahead of nineteen Heinz this week against buffalo. It will be close. It will be close in PR leagues. I don't think Hines suddenly loses valued at the tough match-up against the bills. But I do think going forward Marlon MAC certainly needs to be rostered. He has that kind of -bility on an offense that we think will be scoring points and feel. I assume he leads your waiver wire column. Marla. MAC is the top of the waiver wire columnist available about seventy four point, five percent of league. So consider him if you need a running back right now, the colts also got three straight games or have three straight games with ten or more targets from Chester Rodgers. Now, thirty two targets over the past three weeks. He has four for fifty five with a touchdown yesterday if deals doesn't play next week's to farm in who knows at this point. Well, I think is getting closer. We'll say this, they need him because they're, they just lost Ryan grant to an injury. And I think that's also part of why you saw some more targets. Go Chester Rogers way Ryan grant injured two catches on. Five targets for twenty four yards..

"All right. Now let's kick off our week five or pick ups for a week five on the waiver wire. And let's start at the running back position. I really only have one this week from the running back position, but it's not him Hines in Indianapolis. One of the more crowded backfield's when everyone's healthy, Marla, MAC missed week, four game against Houston in him. Heinz had his, you know, I guess, breakout game. You could say, nine catches sixty three yards. Two touchdowns. He's on pace for eighty. Eight catches this year. Jordan Wilkins hasn't done anything all year. Marla. MAC can't get on the field and they're playing New England on Thursday night, New England, one of the slower defenses. You know, they struggle a lot of times with these shiftier backs out of the backfield and New England game is probably be high scoring in the Annapolis might be down in. In any case, I like him Heinz this week. You know it was specially with the the by weeks in full force. Nahim Hines is worth a grab. He is owned and only fifteen percent of ESPN league. So he's available. And I like his upside PR leaks. It was. It was really weird to to see an hourly exactly what the breakdown in terms of how many Russia's Indianapolis had here going to try and pull up an in a second. They just weren't really rushing the ball at all sixty two pass attempts for Andrew lock in every time you look over your like, are they running the ball at all? Join Wilkins had the most carries at eight carries. They are just an imbalance team kind of like Tampa Bay the first few weeks even when they were doing well or ahead, they still just could not run in. That kind of seems like we're, we're the Indianapolis Colts are right now. As long as he keeps getting involved. Andrew luck has that history of throwing a lot of touchdown passes to the backs. We remember when Frank or was there especially NPR leagues. This is one of those great. Not great, but you know comfortable Rb two people, you can throw in there so that we don't have to sacrifice and give up a good starting wide receiver in the year. Yeah, I guess there's an for an honorable mention, Nick. Chubb is somebody as well. That is worth a look. He's only fifteen percent of leagues. He's coming off. You know, he's another running back this week. They had a breakout game. The rookie at three carries for one hundred and five yards. Two touchdowns basically to really long runs, kind of fluky didn't catch a pass. He's not getting the goal line touches, that's all Carl's hide. So if you can afford to take a flyer on a player, if your bench is big enough for you have a couple of players where you're just, you know, it's like a revolving door. You're dropping them each week and brand new players. You can find space on your bench for Nick job. A definitely pick him up is just it's hard to imagine him really getting increase in touches, at least in the short term with Carl's hide healthy and then do Johnson still, you know, getting most of the work in the passing game, but only owned in fifteen percent leagues. He's a rookie clearly has some upside. If you're thinking, you know more long-term, Nick job is. And other player, I guess you could. You could definitely pick up stash your bench. Yeah, he's probably gonna fit that category of you. Don't wanna drop anyone who's kind of guaranteed. Guaranteed touches or a decent ten point plus per week, flex player wide receiver. But if you've got like the Alfred Morris on your team come just sitting there soaking up. Rosser spot make probably is worth picking up over someone like an Alfred Moore's selling has got a little bit more upside. I wouldn't drop him. I wouldn't pick him up and drop someone who is kind of like a decent by weak filler just because who knows how long it wait with Nick job. If even kind of really earns a big roller non as you mentioned, he had a couple of long runs, but but if you're deep league and you've got someone like alpha Moore's really can't start for you and doesn't really have any upside..

"So swift swap what I just said and it's good, they're at home. But yeah, this game I would not, I think is going to win it. So this is trouble for Derrick Henry who was my pump. The brakes for reason, I'm not. I'm only interested as Henry as a running back three this week. I agree. In fact, the biggest problem with their Kennedy's there has to be like three or four sentences ahead of saying to play him, yeah, to say, you have to say a bunch of conditions in which you like starting Derrick. Henry Dion Lewis. Listen to this highest yards per rush in two thousand seventeen in between the tackles at five point six. He's a great running back showed last week. All you have to do is open your eyes. Yeah, I, I agree with a lot of what you're saying, but I liked both running backs would be fine starting. This is one of those games where I don't think you have to pick one and it comes at the mutual exclusivity of the other, having a fantasy relevant game. Again last week if that one penalty was not called that did not affect their Kennedy, having a sixty yard. Touchdown, everything would be completely different. You know, in in Houston, the their defense and their defense of line should be great. But it's been awhile since they've really been one of the absolute toughest match-ups against the run. So at home, I like their Kennedy. I've said from draft season Dion, Lewis is greater sign than Derrick Henry because he's game script proof and should decide on Watson, go full ham and exit throat five touchdowns. You won't be seeing. There can result that's the risk. But otherwise, if this is a somewhat close game as Vegas sees it there at home, I think both guys will be relevant and I see them both as you know, running back that that two three cusp. Give me all the aids in bake in that you have. We all the colds Owen one take on the one. No Redskins of impr- an impressive performance from the Redskins last week there. Six point home favorites. Forty, six and a half point over under Andrew luck hits the road here played played. Okay. Last week played. Well, this was a close game. They lost to the Bengals the Redskins. I like their defense in this game, their home, they played well. Last week I picked them up. I'm starting them this week. Use your favorites at home? Yeah, yeah, I love it and they showed up in a big way last week, obviously, Josh Norman and company. So what are fantasy expectations from Andrew luck t y Hilton. We saw high target count for Ryan grant wide receiver in his debut for Indianapolis last week, and then the too tight ends Brown with the score. Doyle with the targets, and you have a Harry situation and running back if Marlin MAC plays Jordan. Wilkins Wilkins was. Already up may play ripe, and he's a net play. If we le- agreed the only running back I would consider playing for the colts is if I'm in a PPO format, Nahim Hines who was heavily involved and I expect he'll be heavily involved even when with the return of Marla MAC because they want to use them as that passing down specialists that that takes a lot of. Belief. I mean, I, I realized he was involved that one game with where Marla MAC was there, but I'm not touching a single. That's fine. I'm fine going completely hands off. But if I have to pick one, that's the one I'm gonna pick no interest in MAC Wilkins, Heinz and Michael. Not from me. I want to see what the breakdown is of carries more than likely. They're not just going to, let's say they were going to have Marla MAC, be the true leader, you know, sixty five percent market share in that they're not gonna do that this week..

"I worry a little bit about Kenyan Drake situation, and I think. Greg is more talented than Marlin. MAC is, you know, they invested draft picks and Jordan Wilkins camp reports have been good. Naim Hines, they invested money and obviously he's and undersize more of a court jester. So I don't. I don't see a world where it's impossible for Marla MAC too. Vastly outperform my expectations. I think that's possible me Andrew LX gonna change this offense, but I don't believe that he's going to carry the load here the, here's the decision you will have to make though if you are wanting to grab Marlin MAC in fantasy drafts kerryon Johnson or MAC, oh, get out of here. I never on unless it's a mock draft, Tevin Coleman. MAC draft, then it's a mattress. That's right. Hey, if you're out there and you're wanting to draft, Karen, just draft Marlin. Oh, this is. Yeah, he's the draft Marla, Meg. Carry on in your mind? Yes, I want to see him Harlem. X eighty p rise. Johnson's fall, Kevin Coleman or Marlin mic. I would take my lament. I think I'd take MAC in that situation to just for the potential marshawn Lynch or Marlin may marshawn. That's that's close. I think I would go back. What's I would go marshawn. Get a bet crow l. or Marla MAC Crowell. Those that's the decision like he is he, he's not it crazy expensive for the people who are in Marla MAC, thirty. Third running back off for average raff position, but the guy's going around him are far more exciting for me. We talked about what the return of Andrew luck means. It's hope for the running game. You know what else is hope for the running game investing. Early draft picks on offense of linemen. They invested in fine worst round and round here. Yeah, on a pair of guards. And so that's going to help matters for whoever gets the opportunity to tote the rock behind center, whether it's MAC or somebody else, and the word is will be seen luck play for about a quarter during pre this preseason week, one on Thursday. Order. Last must want to say that's a report anyway. That's actually really interesting for game one for any out there does. He is going out with the bubble, the bubble boy thing from Seinfeld. Yeah. Oh, yeah. They better have the starters. Plan once ever used those things, Mike, where you get in the bubble in your bedroom. It's called knocker ball. Knocker ball. Yes, I have. I've played a future the NFL I will tell you what? After one sprint with the ball on you, you are gas. Oh, yeah. Is a heavy. Yes. I feel like it's so fun. Next would break because your head sticking out, right? Because no, no, no, you're inside of it. The only thing sticking out, like your your legs, your from your knees or down? Yeah. Oh, heck. Yeah. Yeah. When you're knocked down, getting back up is part of the harder to harder to throw a football with that on? I've played, I got a it was for a men's event and I got to go up against my father here. Oh, take him. On pasta, many on like good, no remorse, oversee. All right. Wrapping up our AFC south breakdown. Let's talk to Dede Westbrook wide receiver for the Jacksonville Jaguars. You talking to me. D tell me what it was like your your experience on draft day last year. What was it like the experience where where were you? We always liked to hear everybody's draft a story and get walked through that actually much FDA story with spit in a car. I own my way to Norman Oklahoma from Dallas. I came down to night before to celebrate with my agent and my family and friends here in Dallas. But my mother was back in Norman and so I was actually in Colorado job and back to her whenever I got the phone call from a coach Coughlin and it was pretty much a crazy experience that crazy day for me. I started crying in the backseat of the car because it was just the pills, the real. You know what I mean? Just joining finally come and show some. You've always wished for dreamed upon whenever you was a kid watching, oh the guys, you know, all.

"I'll pull up the white farmers as well. Here's the deal going at the top. I missed that take. Did you say you don't like the value of two? I hope I'm. I'm saying that I think the value of t y Hilton will be good this year because I doubt that it would get back to where it was the last time we saw. Well, unfortunately for you, he is the tenth wide receiver off the board here guys going behind t. y. Hilton. Wow. According to fantasy football calculator, Adam feeling, oh, give me a break. Feeling Stefan Dick's would take Hilton over digs Doug Baldwin Hilton who iln right now because of the health, Larry FitzGerald depends on what you need. Okay. Tyreek hill Hilton? Yeah. Take Hilton. Hilton is not going to be a great value Amari to where he should be going. He was still fourth in the league in yards per reception. He's still didn't always see why Hilton rings last year. He just, you just couldn't get him the ball more more. Let me consistently. Let me run you through TY Hilton's game logs for fantasy points. K, we know. Okay, but there's a difference between the fantasy production whether or not the player was the same, all the reports at a camper. Great. He's at the peak of his career. He's actually got a quarterback now any and it's not like last year he had to become something else or lost. You know, like I bring up Crabtree Crabtree dropped like seven or eight important metrics in his performance last year. You can blame whatever you want, right. But at the end of the day, Crabtree statistically was much worse Hilton from fantasy. Perfect. And you couldn't rely on them at all, but his metrics were the same. That's all I'm saying. Sure. No, and that's valid. Alright. So at the running back position before we jump into the running back position, we we have Brooks makeup these show dogs, and he's given us the depth chart. There is a glaring omission here from the running backs Brooks, and I, I am very disappointed. Bobby. Oh, the woke one is not even listed Brooks. Get outta here. What this Kristen, Michael Christon. Michael is still there the heck Mickley we still have are widely meeting like old mold on Iraq. I mean, he's like, he's just hangs on to these rosters. You've got to stop talking about a Mike. He is so not wide awake. It's not even funny. He's fast asleep. Yeah, these sounds asleep. Yep, I know. All right. Let's talk about the three running backs that are all the rage right now. Marla MAC, Jordan, welcomes name Heinz. Those three guys. Marla MAC appears projected to be the starter to get opportunity. He's been on the team, right? He's only veteran guide their yards. Robert turban is there after his suspension just doing curls to see. He's just back in the just he staring at the practice doing curls on the sideline. But Marla MAC projects to be the starter. A lot of people really don't like Marla MAC call a Jag. He's just a guy. He wasn't great. Last season, didn't even get four yards a carry. That's kind of one of the narratives. I actually believe he was okay last. They call it the Holloway right narrative. That's the hall the anti hallway, Mike, right narrative. You guys believe that I'm fine with that. I don't think Marla MAC is a world beater, but I do believe he's the best running back on the roster and I think he was better than he gets credit for last season. I went back and watch a lot of film. The offensive line was atrocious. He was still the best shirts for carry on the team, which kind of matters. You know what they're all dealing with and that was with without Andrew lucked. So my money is on Marla MAC to have a decent season, but it could absolutely be a Paul Perkins situation where he's the default starter, just not good enough to get it done. I, I look at it more like the, I look at him as Kenyan Drake, light in the sense that I worried about..

"Not a large sample of work. But again, I, you know, you see other efficiency categories converting their downs, getting five and ten plus runs elusiveness forcing tackles he grades out all well and all of those categories. So he's the name to watch like him as potentially this year's Chris Carson last year, keep an eye on him, and then I'll say one more thing I, you know, I mentioned this a little bit. Before yards after contact. If you look back at the past like eater, so years, and you look at the top ten to twelve guys in yards after contact as rookies even on small samples. Like one hundred carries those guys tend to have decent or good careers. And on the other end on the other end of that, if they're really bad, they don't pan out like your Langford to match owns guys like that. Marla MAC is in that over the past eight years. He's in the top twelve in that yards after contact category. So three point eight, five yards per carry last year. You're going to see that and think while he wasn't very good but yards after contact is where he delivered. So that's an interesting tidbit there. And then of course you haven't hime Heinsohn the mix as well kind of a Torri Cohen, sort of change of pace guy. So a lot of guys battling if I had to pick one at their current ADP I'm going Wilkins late and hope for the best. Interesting. I mean, there's certainly possibilities there any figure. Andrew luck is going to cost them all to rise to some extent, just having more of a passing game to work with this gonna quit some opportunities for them running the football, and they're going to win more games. This was a team that was foreign twelve last year, and they're one of the things. Least I think are going to be a lot better in twenty eighteen. You want to cover the Seahawks. Yeah. Yeah. It's been a disaster the past few years. You don't wanna talk about the Browns. We can talk about whoever you want is I just like Rashad penny. So I I already kind of made this case right first round investment, all the hype, son, Chris Carson being the running with the ones. And again, I love Carson last year a lot, but you take a guy in the first round with all the holes they have on that roster. You want to use them. And I think he was going to be this year's Kareem hunt coming in anyway. Similar size, two hundred twenty pounds ran a four, four, six forty, not great, but but he dominates almost everywhere else. He led the the rush the NFL or the NFL maybe lead the NFL rushing this year cream hunted last year, led the nation in rushing last season at San Diego State, almost eight yards per carry best force, MS tackle rates and allusive ratings over a PF pretty much across the board of oil, negative FRANZ converted, their downs. I mean, the guy did it all. I just think he's gonna run away with it. I mean, that's the only concern there is offensive line. I don't care. I just I just worried about and I'm worried about them also not being as good in two thousand eighteen so worried about them. I mean, when all there at the top of the talent there is definitely there. I don't pennies towns at all, but you're, of course, we talked about the Browns finish up with the Browns. You're someone who is very high on the Browns or high on the upside of the Browns heading twenty eighteen, but they have a a backfield that is totally up in the air and you figure if they're gonna win a bunch of games, he was going to be more carriers to go around, but who do you see being the most valuable fantasy back for the Browns and twentieth. Yeah, I don't know if I may be upsides the word, but then again, I thought I was on the Jags last year and I thought they had lacked high ceiling right that they think high ceiling too. I thought they were gonna improve it. I thought they would be seven and nine eighty and think they would do what they did..
