It's it's hard to under three hundred hundred three hundred pages and it's a lot of pictures to have you seen this book. Oh yeah a lot of pictures. There's a lot of examples it's loaded with over fifty examples or client case studies. I mean it's like screen shots. It's very easy. It's written for people like me where I'm reading the book and I'm going. There's not any pictures in this book. What's going on Jason? Can you help me and Jason. Jason says Jesus now I can't. I'm reading annual. Sorry there you know so. It's easier to read than the manual to a two thousand four explore Jason. I'm trying to put the pictures so our book is like the Barron Stain bears of of search engines. It's like Dr Seuss of search engine books. It's very easy to read. And you open it up to chapter two. There's a checklist there and I WANNA to get into the specific questions. Our listener has. Let's talk about headers and Meta Data John In our book all the rules all laid out there but we're the most people get it wrong as relates relates to Meta data and headers. What is he talking about? What is Meta data? And what are headers. Header is just like it's the title so think of it as a school paper. You know you have to organize it. So it's whatever is the most important thing I saw your head or would be like whatever. The article or that page is about K.. Then the content would be there and then the Meta data where most people get wrong is they. Just don't fill it out. So Meta data is what Google sees a essentially a synopsis. If you will all of that page so it tells Google and tell people that are googling if you ever see Google total men's haircuts and you see The title up there and then there's like one the two sentences that talk about that page. It's what you can expect to find when you click into the page Berge is the personal assistant. And the county de Chief of staff off for Bill Belichick and the New England patriots. He's also the man who lets us know. The bill check is unavailable for an interview. John Busy not tell us when he's not available. He's rejected selected US three times. Yes we love Bush guy and we talked about him so much. In fact we optimize throw him so much that now if you Google Search Berge and right now Berge Berge. If you're out there Berge Berge. You're right now and you Google your name. Let's do it. It's it's a romantic moment. Google search everybody doodle Search Burs B. E. R. Jessie J J. A. R. I n.. And you will find me as number one or two in the world underneath the Boston Globe as is the number one source for all things related to Bersaglieri and I bet you on our website said Bergereon. I've mentioned version talked about burs. I bet you I've mentioned Berge over a thousand times. And maybe on the show I mentioned versus Jerry in one thousand. Maybe I'll say maybe I'll use burs Ryan is way to end sentence. Maybe I'll say so. Jason Jason. How's it going Persian? It's a question maybe I'll use burs. Rain is a way to start sentences. I'll say like Devon. How's it going person insurance? You see what I'm doing it at their weaving in we have every Google Search Burston Sharon and you'll see an example of a properly optimized page another example would be. Let's Google Search Bill. Bella checks number one fan bill. Bill checks number. One is the number side so the number number number one fan bill. Belichick's everyone van and there I come up at the top of the search engine results and John. Why do we come up top? I mean why why US why. Why do we come up? Is Bill Bell checks number one. Obviously we are bill belichick's number one fan but we why do we come up top. Well we have the most relevant content about that particular subject so you think this particular Page pulling up there. Is You just professing your love for Bill Belichick and why all of the things he does are so great. And so google views. It a source of wisdom on that particular topic or keyword America's number or a is bill belichick number one fan and This this reminds me you know they say Sharon you know they say Persian you know they say Berge Erin. That's what they say Devon that's what they say okay now. Where do people get this wrong? Though because our our about this clients wanting to know about headers and Meta Data Jason you have any other clarifications because we have a client asking this question. Make sure we're answering everything. There is to know about this winter in her questions about this. Also his initial question was just he was blown away by the knowledge. You guys and Bruce Klay Hat on that interview you did with them and they were just certain areas these these are basically words that he was unaware of but he realized we're really important so he's kind of wanted to have a better understanding us. I want everybody to go to the best. Seo Book Dot Com. Download the book. I I can't do what I have carpal tunnel while I'm driving. Pull over your car. Download the book but a chapter two. There's a checklist right there in there. All the rules now Meta comes from the a Greek word meaning above it's above and beyond what the average user sees Devon why why why is it. Called meditated near opinion and. Then where can we find. Why did I mean what what am I going to click if I WANNA see Meta data right now any website page so to view the Meta data of any Website you're going to right. Click on it you know. I had a dream a few years ago. That four forty nine in the morning you and I would rendezvous and you. Tell me about meditating. Now that that's great okay. So we'RE GONNA WE'RE GONNA go that were on the page that we're trying to to view the Meta data works. Let's go to its type in everybody do it. With me now Google Search Tulsa men's haircuts Tulsa men's haircuts. So we all go tells them into haircut thereby google everybody now google okay everybody now Google it now. We're all googling we've all Google now Tulsa men's haircuts as we're getting into the nitty gritty nursery. Deva now we found the page. Now what do I need to go. Oh yeah so we'RE GOING TO E T R LOUNGE DOT COM Katie Green. Oh Man we're going to right. Click on the page and select view. Teijin source nice. Okay and then what happens then it pulls up a whole bunch of and what are the main Meta pieces of Meta data. What are the main the? Get the title tag right. You've got the description. Yep and your keyword search okay and we have all the rules and chapter two of the search engine domination nation book. You can download it right now. Just go to the best. Seo Book Dot Com another readability score John what is a readability score. And why do we even need to know about a arena. Built readability score. Well it's a something that the plug in that we use joost to help optimize each page puts on there and so it's a score based on on a computer saying how easy or difficult it is to read So what riding level you're writing at And so the the kicker here is if if you wrote like a really big high thought paper you'd still score low because it's not what the average person can read it And so you just feel like you're putting you you want the content on there. That's step one. You have to have your content on there and I wouldn't get hung up on what the readability score says unless it says it's very bad okay. Let's repeat that again. Repeat that one more time Inc. some authors wrestling with this idea right now they want to understand. They don't get it. Yeah it's just to score that joost the plugin puts on the page on saying. How easy is this particular page for the average person to read Jason I would like you to look up the lyrics to follow God by Kanye West. I want you to read the lyrics to US place. Okay I'M GONNA keep us a little sample everybody by the way if you have not yet bought the Kanye West Album Jesus King you really miss an out to your family and you owe it to his wallet Konya Tax in by his newest album. Jesus is king videos. Awesome other motives life like this is what you light Jason. Can you read it please. So says life like this is what your life like. Try to live your life right people really no you push your buttons like Type Right This is like a movie but it's really very lifelike every single night right every single fight right. I was looking at the gram Ram and I don't even like aren't even like likes. I was screaming at my dad. He told me I ain't Christ like it increased like whoops. I was screaming at the referee. You just like Mike Looking for a bright light schedule. Your Life Lake keep reading ooh fascinating keyboarding riding on a white bike feeling like excite bike pressing on the gas Supernova for a night light screaming at my dad again and he told me it chrysler but nobody never tell you. When you're being Christ like Christ only ever seen me only when they need me like if Tyler Perry made a movie for bt searching for a deity now you wanna see it free now you WanNa see if we let's just see lyrics to his song? Though Conway were to take the lyrics of his own and song and put them on a web page John would it have a high readability score or a low readability score that would be a low readability score. But he you shouldn't change his lyrics to increase the readability score's and it's done right so but people get all hung up on this so I'm just trying to say if you're out there today and you you are. Don't get hung up on this. All you want to do is avoid the very very bad right right. Yeah if you're if you're putting conscious content and it makes no sense at all then that's it's worthless and so that's the only time you would be concerned about readability score's if it's like a this was written as drug third-grader now let me say this. I'm not gonNA argue with you on the show but I will say this you're also who you're competing with. So as an example years ago I worked with an auto rap company and I think you remember this one but he his competition had no content at all like no content no not a single one of his competitors had any content right so they had no they had no contact at all. So I tell this person I tell this a a woman I say I said her I said hey you need to write a thousand words of content per page on your website and John. You remember this. She would not right the content. She says I'm going to but she didn't so she's is that not reading any content at all. So what happens. It's so Sushi. Says can you write it for us right right. So we had a member of our team who knows nothing about auto wraps right content on their website and even though the stuff that we wrote for them didn't make a lot of sense because the person who we we hired the right content knew nothing about auto wraps they still ranked top op for their search term. How could they possibly rank top John if they're content? Isn't that good well. It's better than everybody else's it's better than more it's more relevant. It's better than nothing for sure. And I believe I won't mention the search term. I believe this company still ranks up top but this particular client i. We had this conversation. I WANNA say John for like months months and I'm saying hey you need to write content on your website in every week. It's like yeah I'm I'm going to but it didn't. Why is it so hard for people to write content John? What's the what's what's the issue? I think one requires just a certain level of get her done. You know. It sucks writing sucks. You know it takes a lot of time. It takes brain brainpower which nobody wants to think anymore and so they just want to kind of float through life not turn their brains on and so when you're sitting down you have to be engaged and you actually have to be thinking about what you're trying to say okay so you got to thank again you gotta think and if you don't Wanna think someone else has to think for you but somebody has to write that content so again readability score. Just watch out I very very very bad readability score now step number three back links for question number three water back links and are they important. Okay first off If you're out there listening today and you say clay I want to get it back link. That is a lot like telling me that you want to run a marathon in my opinion and I think it's great great that you want to run a marathon. I'm excited for you that you were saying right now that you want to run a marathon but how many people do you know have actually run a marathon. Think about that. For what's funny is the person who has. This question ran a triathlon last month and placed first. But we're our listeners are exceptional people that's true. The how much person though is talking to locks fan on their Saturday eating gummy bears while talking about wanting to run the marathon getting gummy bears talking into a box. Fan going off. I WANNA run a marathon narrow okay so wanting to and doing different things but back links are tough for the average person to get it and so John. I'm going to tee up how to get the back link and then you tell me why. It's hard to do and what I need to do if I really really want to get back link all right so back link strategy number one get other websites that are related to your industry to link back to you. Get other websites that are related to your industry to link back to you. Why why is that so hard John? Well you have to know nobody wants to do anything out of the goodness of their heart right. So it's all what have you done for me lately and so when you're reaching out to these people bowl saying hey will you link to meet you have to be giving them something in return something that they value. Because they're not gonna just do it just because you asked Aka money money Content that they want to share share which then they can turn into money. You have to fill a need. That they have so then they will fill that you have but almost nobody ever back links to anybody. I've seen clients who've had very very good friends who've said to them up clients of mine have gone to their friends and said hey friend I would like to get a back link. You own a business. Could you back doc linked to me and I've never I say never I've never seen it happen. I've N- John I've seen people tell me. Oh my friends going back link to me. My friend is an attorney and he told me he's GonNa link back to me and I've never seen it happen. No have you seen it happen. No Devon didn't happen. I think we're the only people that have ever linked back to someone out of the goodness of our hearts. That's true then we have listeners. At vast you put back linked to me and I go. Well let me look at your stuff. Look at your stuff anyway. Very few people will do battling now if you do a back link properly so so you got to put the anchor text on their John. What is the anchor text? Yes so you want whatever. Keyword that you're trying to go for a say it was Tulsa Men's haircut let's do Tulsa Home Secure and Tulsa home security. Okay so you would want whoever is linking back to you to on Tulsa home security hyperlink or or link your website on those specific words so I need to type out the words Talso home security right and then select all right and then hit command K.. On a Mac yes UNIMAK and that will put a hyperlink prompt up there. So if you ever see the words that are blue and you click it and it takes you somewhere else. That's what that is. That's an anchor text and so you would want to make sure that they link Tulsa home security the keyword bactericide back to witness. LLC Dot Com right so if you're out there today and you want to be a good person. And I know you do put it back. Like on your website I write something about Tulsa home security. That's relevant Greta. Thousand words about it too and then put a link on your website back to witness. Llc Dot Com and then you WanNa put if possible oh you WANNA put the name of the company the phone number and the address. John why would you want to put the name of the company a phone number the address. And why should that match what Google has on file for you with your Google. My business account. Well it's just. Google looks consistency overall things so they look for consistency. In how consistent you are about writing content or uploading content how consistent you are in in your Reviews consistent you are in all of the directories that you're in. They just want everything to be the same into match now before we really really get nursery before before we get into that deep dark nerdy nursery. I WANNA keep this audio clip again. That's impossible even for a computer. But it's not impossible as two bulls so I walk rats in my t. Sixteen back home there again. We're going to be teaching you later on today. So if you stick around long enough we're going to teach you how to Bullseye womp rats using your t sixteen back dot com even for a computer. But it's not impossible to bullseye walk brats. It sixteen back home in his teeth. Sixteen so he's in a t sixty week. It's impossible even for a computer but it's not impossible as to bullseye. WALK RATS IN MY T. Sixteen back home. It was very valuable skill to learn. He was eighteen years. What is sixteen calculator? I Houston high school vehicle of some. He was entity sixteen while Bowl Zang Brandt so he was driving and rapid speed. I guess that'd be like like riding a horse and shooting with a rifle. You think it's a vehicle. I thought it was like a like a spaceship type thing. Yeah Yeah Okay so now. It is Five four in the morning. So we're just waking up here folks so here we go silo silo in Silencing John Does it matter what is silo wing. What does it what does it mean? It's just a way to organize your site map so when you have a ton on of content about one specific thing or multiple specific things. It's way to organize to tell Google. Okay here all of the pages that I have about this. Using the example earlier Tulsa home security so you would click that and then it would all of the pages And then if you had another keyword new had a ton of content for Home Security Tulsa you click that and it would load all those pages. It's just a fancy way to organize your site map. Once you have a ton of content Let me give you the The official definition here Silo Wing is the Act of dividing a web sites content content to different categories and subcategories groupings known as silos. Oh thank you it. Also it also allows for optimizing onsite content around a wider array. Hey of keyword groups. This is my experience having worked with thousands of clients. I would not worry about silencing until you have a thousand pages of content wanted this is my take on this. I don't think it matters. I haven't seen it matter but then once you have a thousand pages of content then it might make sense to organize them at that point John. Would you agree or you say maybe five hundred articles or what. What do you think? A thousand is great It's just like I said it's a great way to organize your site map but also helps speed up your site which you know is becoming increasingly a bigger bigger thing but yeah I would not worry about it until you have at least thousand index pages. Now if you're out there listening today and and you saved clay. I WanNa really fix my website. Now what do I do. We'll what you'd WANNA do. Is You want to go to the best. So if you see my kids, please tell them. To See, see what you'll break now three to what? Yes yes, yes. Yes. It is a very special occasion because it has always profound Jason when you are. Above the ground. Yes, when you're not dead, you're not dead true. We have a lot to be thankful for here today. What I wanted to do today is I wanted to deep dive into a subject it's it's going to be offensive for somebody out. There Jason It's GonNa. It's GONNA irritate somebody. Somebody's going to be upset about it, but we have to do it. I'm all about hitting people at six thirty eight in the morning. We're recording at six thirty eight minutes. You're listening to the show at noon. You're listening to it at night. We invite you to get irritated at whatever time you WANNA get irritated today's show. We're going to talk about facts over Felix Oh. Gather the facts. Then Act Jason Let's talk about this fax over feelings. Yeah, gather the facts. And then act okay, so let's think about this. Let's let's get into how this applies to business directly right now off the bat. When somebody when want client of yours runs advertisements? Yeah, right and they think that a deal is going to work recently. Had somebody I know very well. I won't give specifics, but they were passionate about running a special an advertisement for their business or one of my clients, one of my friends. And I knew it wouldn't work. Could be you know why it wouldn't work? Wasn't because the offer was ridiculous. And I'm looking at it. I have a vested interest in the business. I. Don't own the business. I wanted to do well and I said. Are you the one who came up with this idea? And the person let me know that it was their husband who came up with the idea. There is some going okay, so you're you're wanting to spend. I mean. Five hundred dollars a week to run this ad all month. That I know is not gonNA work. 'cause I have worked with many clients who've tried similar approach. And it hasn't. Worked in the past right, I would think it will not work in the future, but or do you want to do it? And he says I want to do it. So. We say so, you're. You're telling me that your husband wants to do it. My, yes, my husband wants to do it so I said. Let's do this though let's run the advertisements. Get a great landing page. Let's let's run the ADS. Let's run it and then at the end of four weeks if the advertisements don't work. Can, we agree on behalf of your wallet. That will turn the advertisements off. And so Jason talked to me about why. It's hard for people to see the truth. That their advertisement. They're beautiful idea at their that their advertisement idea is a bad idea. Why is it hard for people to see their idea is a bad idea when it is they who have created the idea, and or their husband or their wife will, because there's always feelings involved, it's. Like advertising a lot is one of the things, it's not necessarily something I get pushed back on, but it's where kind of like you're in that conversation. I have to step in and say okay well. Is this proven if you're wanting to throw it like? A lot of people look at it as the throat at the wall. See if it sticks kind of thing, but that's a very expensive game to play, and so if you know like the hot deal of the week like having done this for a while and you having done this for you, no way longer than me UC patterns like that and so what I would recommend the same thing you did okay we'll do. We know if this is gonNA work. No, it's just something I felt okay. Well, then let's go ahead and track it and see if it works that way when you actually have the factual evidence that it, didn't it. It makes them feel a little bit better. There's still a little crush because everybody, every business owner who comes up with an idea for an ad or especial. That's like their baby, and you can't tell them. Their babies not cute. So when you run advertisements again, you track the data, you track the data, right? You Track the data you track the facts, and then you act exactly track the facts, and then you act now the rhythm of entrepreneurship this okay you define. act measure, refine everybody. Say with me here. We go define. Act! Measure. Refine like a good colt now. define. My culture divine. Act Measure. Fine Act measure refine. Fine. Measure refined. The crowd is. Five. Point. No one has any idea what it means. That's true. Office some guy who had a point. People mob. act measure refined now. What I'm GonNa do is I'm going to give another example of this. Okay, so let's let's do. You recruit somebody when you're when you're hiring. Yeah, how often do you see it where a person hire somebody? To work in their business again a client of yours. And they hire this person and you know this person is crap true. Okay? Okay, you know what I should add some meat on that. Okay? This happened yesterday. A wonderful wonderful client and I won't mention the gender of the client. Because then they would know who it's about. But this person. They have team member WHO's supposed to call the leads. Leads come in their job is to call leads. And to get whiten Google Review per day. One seems legit one review. Their job is to get. How reviews one one review per? Day Day and to call the leads. This is their only job. and we look on the tracking sheet, and I'll pull the tracking sheet for this client, and we track data for all of our clients and that way. We're not operating in speculative zone. We're not operating in the. I. Feel you feel see feelings getting away of facts. This is so. We don't want to get into the feelings, but I'm looking at the tracking. You tell me because you have. You're seeing it here in front of you as well. We go to the number of reviews that we've got. We've gathered and for a while. The client had US get reviews. I remember that so here we are It looks like since. It looks like a pretty in the data here, but it looks like since. WHAT MAY JUNE SINCE MAY SECOND! May Twenty second, so last week that we were calling on their behalf calling their former customers to gather objective reviews, what clients will hire us to call their former clients to gather objective reviews on Google which helps rank higher also helps provide social proof validation, etc.. Improves your branding to get more google reviews, but anyway so this client hired us to make calls. To call their former clients objective reviews, and they had three hundred and sixty eight reviews on May second now. Since that time they have not gathered a single review. The eventually lost one, so we're talking eight weeks. The person hasn't gathered a review. I mean what what was. The math is supposed to get one a day. Right so I mean you would. You would assume it would have grown a lot, but I mean that's. That can be possible right, so let's talk about this, so we are trend. Examine this idea of why are we loyal to dysfunction I mean? Why is this guy? Why Lady? Why is this business owner? Loyal to that person because it's not looking at the facts, who's just looking at the feelings? Persons looking at do they consider that person enjoyable to be around one of the biggest things that I found when it comes to the situation, previous, working with had a terrible staffing problem, and the best option would be to just scorched earth. Get rid of everybody in replace them. Because the same thing. They weren't getting reviews, but they didn't want us to get reviews in every review that they were getting was on behalf of the customer, and it was one star because they. They hated the employees, and so I said. Why do we keep them around? And they said well I provide their wages, and they've got kids, and I don't Wanna I don't WanNa put them out and so a lot of people look at it through that Lens is just like they want to be such a benevolent person. They don't want to give up the person that's causing them to be less profitable, which is actually an anti biblical idea. See A lot of Christian business owners that that. This is like. For some reason they get stuck here. They won't fire a bad person. And if you whip out some Bible, knowledge and you say proverbs ten four states, Lazy Hands Make for poverty, but diligent hands bring wealth. Why are you bringing wealth to a lazy person? Right and they're like well. They're light it so this particular situation, the person who won't get reviews can I. let spill the beans how it? You know why this person has been kept on staff was that. Because related to the owner. It's a tough economy. And, we got to give them a job. So now I mean. Wouldn't it be easier just to stroke? The person a check and say don't come to work through. Be a lot cheaper cheaper so if you're out there today I WANNA make sure getting this idea when you're running your advertisements. When you're running advertisements. Track the facts, then act, do it right. You'RE GONNA. Do you gotta measure what your treasure? Exactly? No hiring same deal track the facts and the next. I mean if the employees consistently late. If. They don't do their crap on time. Is it mean to fire them Jason, no, not at all. I mean if anything. If you don't, you're sending about example for yourself and I have ever managed people before I have and. One point forty people. You're managing forty-five people maybe closer to fifty. Yeah, and have you ever had to tell employee? Hey i. need you to not bring your cell phone to double your smartphone door. Make sure you keep your smartphone off. Almost every day, and are there certain people that just refuse? To remember that idea. Oh, yeah, it's like it's like it's a new day every time we have the conversation. What kind of stuff do they say is a way to justify? Did they forgot or my bad or I need it? What kind of justification will provide? Luckily I've never got the I forgot that there are at least on enough about that, but it's always you know of A. Kid or I'm expecting a call from I. Don't know I'd like my realtor or is. There's always an excuse of like there's some burning fire that could happen, so they have to have it with them, and it's constant, even though they know that we have some place to help protect them. Should there be a burning fire right, and if at any given point they actually need to. They've got breaks and as long as everything's good. They can always jumped to the back and get on that phone, but they always keep it with him. Because there's always something greater that could happen then their job now let's talk about this as we talked about advertisement and again if you're making decisions based on feelings. You'RE GONNA. Be Reeling as you have a bad year. If. You're focused on feelings. You will always be real, and you'll be in pain to be. It's going well. Again Jason. We're loyal to feelings. What's going to happen? Nothing, you're going one. If you're loyal to your feelings, you're going to be like people to throw around the phrases I have or I'm depressed. If you deal in the feeling spectrum for too long, you will get sucked into that, and then your whole life is run by emotions, and you become a very dysfunctional person. You know the word real or reeling the ideas. Somebody loses their balance. That kind of stagger Lee lurched violently sounds like me when I wake up so I mean. If you focus on your feelings, you are going to be really. You lose your balance. You'RE GONNA struggle you're gonNA. Oh! Kay, let's give a third example because I think somebody out there is. This is starting to resonate with somebody out there. Okay? When you do your search engine optimization, there's four variables that impact your rank and the Google. Search engine results year. That would be That is going to be having the most reviews. Nice, that's going to have. Google compliance. Oh, yes, Google, canonical compliance. Having mobile compliance oversight mobile friendly, and then that's having the most original hd content. And again if you WANNA download my book, you get it right now. You can go to Amazon. It's called search engine domination, and for twenty bucks you can. That's a steal you. Twenty bucks, or you can download it for free by going to thrive. Times show dot com forward slash free dash resources drive time, show dot com forward slash free resources now when you tell somebody this How often does somebody coming into? My Web guy, he's. He's eating my web guy. He wants me to stay with my current site. More often than I would like to admit it happens a lot especially, if somebody has a web guy, or let's say, we helped them get to the top and Google. And then they start getting. All of those spam leads whether like hey, we see ranking number one google, but here's five things you could fix. Let us do that and they're like well. This guy says maybe I should do these five things right, so let's. It's talking about if if everybody does a Google search right now for Joplin. Jim, J., p., L. I. N. Joplin, Gyms Fitness Joplin gyms fitness center Joplin gyms. I'll you second every type in Joplin Jin's. Guess who comes up top our client? Fitness they come up seven ten times unbelievable shaw homes. Come up top and Google. If you search for Tulsa Men's haircuts, we come up top and Google because we're following a proven system. Right, you say we'll I want to run the system. Okay, then there's there's some great. Resources for you. You got search engine for dummies by Bruce Clay a great book. Now. Everybody can buy search engine for dummies by Bruce Clay. You can read the I mean. That's a great book you can read. Get Rich. Click by Mark Ostrovsky. All right. Or you can read my book. Search engine domination I I'm not passionate about which book read I think. My Book is the most concise to the point. We simplify it for you, but either way yes. We're GONNA. Get through that much faster right so now we're going to do is now now now. We know that there's somebody out there. Who still making decisions based upon feelings. Now. We're going to get into that light topic known as racism. Now I'm GonNa Queue up some stuff here Jason and I'd like you to explain you're the one who told me about this clip and last time we. Are you. Are you white? Halfway. Okay, what does that mean? My mother is white and my father's black. Okay, so you told me. About an interview on the Joe Rogan podcast Oh, yeah, with a guy named Colin. Coley nor Coley into are and who is this man man so I found him on Youtube? He is a lawyer from Texas, so he's a very outspoken black man who does not let his race changes by so he votes Very Republican. He actually came out on my podcasting, he voted for trump in the in the original raisin didn't care because the other options for terrible, and so he's been a an NRA member and correspondent for years. He's an attorney. He also is very into making sure that America knows their constitutional rights, and in in particular the Second Amendment, so he's all about gun advocacy for all races, but he teaches to the point where a lot of people get the get wrong. They think that the NRA was founded in order to keep guns away from black people, but it's the exact. Exact opposite, so he's basically just trying. He has his platform and Youtube. If you check him out, it's amazing, but he only presents facts. He is the only person other than you that I've seen where his research process. It'll take him like a week to get all of the sources together so by the time he makes like a fifteen minute video. He knows what he's talking about. It's not just a theory. All He. He's the man. I'm GONNA play this audio clip from his appearance on the Joe Rogan podcast as he's discussing black lives. Matter because I'm good, not black. Can't relate to what it's like to not be white, so everyone comes from a different perspective, but this is. His name's Colin Noir Yep. Okay, let me let me see. Oh L. O. IN IN. Our Co L. I.. O. N., no are in this appearance on the Joe Rogan podcast. Here we go play. A lot of those people generally speaking are Marxist. Yes, that's pretty much there. The that's why like. I make a delineation people ask me about black lives matter for instance, black lives matter the sentiment I can get down with black lives. Matter Organization I cannot. Because they are not for the same thing. The Up to the leader, the founders of black matte like the founders, the black lives matters literally just came out and basically says she's trained. Marked basically said she said blatantly. She's trained Marxist. The both of them. The founders of black lives matter these markets to oaks that went onstage Bernie Sanders. At one time I believe, so. Don't quote me on and took the mic from whoever the two women are. Who are who were the founders of black lives matters the organization. They are trained Marxist, said with their mouth on the show, and what, so what so that right? There I mean the idea that he is? Not a white man and he said that. Why does that bother some people? What is the deal or a lot of people say? Oh, you know they're gonNA. Treat him the same way that they treat. Candice Owens when she speaks. You know the truth. They're going to say. Oh, you're a race traitor. How dare you race traitor it somebody at the BS term really, but it's when somebody of take constant Kanye for instance people say because he is pro-trump and wants to vote Republican that he is no longer supportive of his black. Community. You have to be Liberal Democrat even though the Republican Party is founded to help in slavery, but we have to talk about the facts We're GONNA. Talk about the feeling, so everybody wants to fit within their. Status Quo as far as racism goes. A race goes, and then the second you step out of that line. You're immediately become the antithesis, so people say Will you know you think this way? You must be brainwashed you don't you're not down with the cause? So, because he doesn't follow. The feelings exactly the momentum the feelings it can't be. True right because again. People are loyal to dysfunction. They are very. This this is Kanye. West, discussing. Why he believes that black people should be able to vote for whoever they want to vote for. They don't have to vote Democrat every single time. Let me play. This is Kanye West. Well this is Kanye West's appearance on the Jimmy Kimmel show, which is great grandparents. Let me find the wanted to find. A culture we know body slave. Horns stand up. Even take this. That's the song called. Kanye West's song closed on Sunday. His life performance on Jimmy Kimmel. Let me hit play here Makita, the most racist thing a person could tell me is supposed to choose something based all my race on a lot of stuff. We're GONNA. Have to agree to disagree because I think we'RE GONNA walk out the door with the the same way that we walked in. You know what I'm saying. That's what I've been saying. Let's agree to disagree and I find with it. I'm here to celebrate you. God is showing that you can have your own thoughts bro. I've been canceled before it was canceled. Coacher, who told you? That my career would be over the same people that are telling you that you can't have a right to say who you will vote for. Those people will be soon to take Jesus out the school way. Wake up Mr West. wake-up coacher weak- API. Woke, but they follow the rules woke supposed to be I have turned my back on the idea of victimization mentality. What does that idea of woke? What does that mean? It's the biggest frigging thing you'll find on twitter at some, but it was so funny. Everybody who says they're woke is not woke. That was what does it mean to me? It means that you have a higher understanding. You have woken up to see the world around you. You understand that there are certain systems in place that other people don't. It's like it's like neo in the Matrix. Everybody, else's living in that simulated world and they don't know what's going on, but you are the chosen one you wake up and realize everything's being forced fed to you and there's a bigger conspiracy going on, but those people only hang out with like minded people who think that they know things and they don't I hate. Culture I hate. The word woke because those people aren't. Well let me let me play one more clip. This is Sheriff Clarke who his appearance on CNN. Discussing the black lives matter movement. This is years ago. He's talking with Don Lemon from, CNN. And Baton Rouge. A really tough day for Baton Rouge and for the country really here to talk about how to keep our police. Safest Sheriff David Clarke of Milwaukee County Wisconsin is going to be speaking at the Republican. Convention tomorrow night sure thank. You very much for that so twenty. Spoke to the heads of the Sheriff Department police, department and the state police down there, and they told us how their hearts were reeling. Their message is peace and coming together in the country. What's your message? You. Don't believe that for one minute that their messages. That's what they said to me. Okay! Yeah, believe them protests over the death of these cops today in Baton Rouge I. Don't know I don't know that any riots protests over the. Police Officers in Dallas Texas What are you asking? It's a pretty simple question. I asked you if what your message. To the people, their messages WANNA piece. What is your message? My message has been clear from day one two years ago. This anti-cop sentiment from this hateful ideology called black lives. Matter has fueled this rage against the American police officer I predicted this two years ago. So when I when I don't WanNA shore, okay, share do I. WanNa, know all due respect to you know that this was because of that. Yes, I do law enforcement office. I've been watching this for two years. I predicted this this anti police. Rhetoric sweeping the country. has turned out some hateful things inside of people. Are Now playing themselves out on the American police officer, I want to know with all the black on black violence in the United States of America by the way. When the tragedies happen in the, we've gone in Minnesota. You know that twenty-one black people were murdered across the United States. was there any reporting on officer who was killed today, but let's. Is there any reporting on their? Please insist let's just keep the volume down there so I understand. What just happened there? Jason He beat up. Somebody wanted to deal with feelings with facts in. He didn't Don did not know how to react to it. My favorite part though was when he asks. You know the police chief, you know or the sheriff. What his? Message was, and he immediately turned around and says that message that you just said is bs. Do you really think? Do you really believe that? They have a message of peace and stares through his soul, and don like can't look at them, so I'm GonNa. Go back to ask him questions. It's going to get me out of this and. The that whole we watch a couple of weeks ago and every time he states a fact surf. We could just bring the volume down if I'm trying to be patronizing. It's unbelievable head, but again we're talking about her feelings. Some asking you right now whether it's who you vote for whether it's what advertisements you're running whether it's who you're hiring whether it's the search engine optimization. You're doing whether it's the home you live in whether it's the town you choose to call home whether it's the friends you hang out with act based upon facts, right, get the facts and then act. quit letting your feelings be in control because if you allow your feelings. If you make decisions based upon your feelings, you will find yourselves financially reeling. And now without further ado to each and every show with the boom boom stands for big overwhelming optimistic momentum, and that's what it takes to go from just barely surviving to threaten. Any further deal here we go. To what.

You have three thousand seven hundred seventeen reviews right now in Joplin and batting second batting second in the search engine Olympics is planet fitness coming in with a wild thing. Two hundred forty six reviews now. How can a company as planet fitness has thousands of locations? Seriously don't have over a thousand locations eighteen hundred nineteen hundred. How can they be that big in? Not How are they not able to keep up with you on reviews I mean I I get? How is it possible? Well I think they have a lot more money. I don't know and they've got some good says there? They've been around a lot longer and they have a lot more investor money and we actually have to be a better product. Better Service really diligent on our systems a lot harder than they do so. Your team is so disciplined in doing a great job. Now people want to focus on. What do you say? And how do you get reviews? I'm not going to focus on that today. I want to focus on today. That part's easy. You have to great job yes you have to. Yes and I think that's where people they just. It's like we as a people as a culture for whatever reason we want to skip that part we wanted to skip it and go. Yeah but D- WHAT QUESTIONS DO I ask? I mean every industry. It's different but essentially you're saying. Hey what's your name and y you know. How'd you hear about the company? What do you like most about the service? And what makes it different you know? How would you describe it to somebody else? That kind of thing but people want to focus on that and not on the quality endeavour. You've seen this before where we've had. Were you remember the the contractor? Who was a client back in the day when you when you were first starting out? Oh yeah who screwed me and used to screw clients perpetually. Yes and see. I didn't know he was screwing me until one day. We're in a meeting. He says This is so good. That's good. He says hey I have question yes how come not ranking higher in Google. That's what do you mean he says it's like I said well you got to get video reviews V. I. Sem Video Reviews New Images on the site surgeon content and more Google reviews and he says yeah but it's not working and not working. Well what's going on so I'm thinking it's a technical issue so I don't know if you remember this but John was looking at the map and why isn't the map ranking and why. Why isn't the reviews sticking all these cards nothing? It's a technical problem so then I after looking into it with great enthusiasm we go into the back into the website and I see in Dude Charles. It's the roughest in box I've ever seen like people are filling out the form and they're saying hey such and such. I paid you eighty thousand dollars to replace my windows at my Lake House. And I've currently receiving cancer treatment for brain cancer. And I would like it if you'd least respond to tell me the status so I know you have at least completely ghosted. This is my twelfth email. This is my twelfth call or the next one would say it would be like. Hey you never did finish my kitchen countertop. I would like to get that finished. When's a good time? These are these are nice people and you can see when they're filling out the former becoming increasingly hostile and so would you reach out to a contractor and by the way he. He's screwed me right at the time that I discovered that he was growing other people. He's screwed me big time. He took about one hundred thousand dollars of my money. Never never never pay me back one hundred grand because we're GONNA build out of the offices and he took the final installment payment and then ghosted and he'd been a client of mine for about a year and then so apparently he took the money that clients paid him and would go to a casino. And just spend it. So you're paying him to remodel your house. And then he takes the money later on. He told me that's what he did. Tell you all just said. I have a gambling addiction. I WANT TO APOLOGIZE. Say Kindle. Longer your coach. That's it seriously but I'm saying this. He used to say. I don't understand why people won't leave me. Good reviews well it turns out people hate you and then to Google found out that all the reviews received. We're from like people that he had paid to leave a review that he had actually done work for. So let's talk about this for a second the ethics of getting reviews. Now we're live. We live in a World Charles. We know this. We're not everyone's GonNa like us so I would speculate. There's somebody out there listening right now. Who PROBABLY WORKS AT PLANET FITNESS? Who Says Clark and listen? It's okay for you to hate other podcasts out. There Charles loves you amber loves you. They all love. Hate me on the other hand. I like to coach from a place of hate for the other team. If you're not my client I want you to lose. It starts that way. It's like the old Lakers versus Celtics. I do my best coaching. When I view as the enemy the knicks versus the Bulls Eye. That's how I have to start. I can't do a deal where I I can see your point. If you're at my client I want you to lose. Which is why. Aaron antics worked so hard for years to get me to coach him because I was violently coaches competition but people can write things online. That are not true so as an example we have some people that have come to a conference in seven hundred twenty. Five of them are happy but we had one guy who came the conference who smelled a lot like a dead animal. He did the whole new. York City cabdriver. Thing and by the way if you live in New York City in your cabdriver near offended by that come on even if you smell good you have to know your other cab. Cabby friends. Don't smell get this guy smelled like the interior of Armpit. Okay this guy was is rough. And he's been like onions and armpit combined any sat in the middle of the conference and Devenir. There's been one hundred people there and his phone and how incredibly distracting when someone's phone goes off incredibly and so you hear. This guy is like the phone ringing. And it's going off like they didn't do and he picks it up and he starts talking full speed on a sales call like Jesus going for it. And he's not like stepping out or duck it out or he's like yeah how can help you? Okay Yeah let me tell you. And he's like going for. Let me tell you the difference between us and the other guys so empty. Everyone's distracted for the whole session. So is probably the final five minutes of the session so I broke early and I said guys. We'll be back in fifteen minutes. We'll get restarted over to caffeinate. I'll be back. I do that a lot of the conferences. If somebody weird I try to do it in the first one or two sessions. I'm sure you saw me session. So then what I do is I go up to the guy said. Hey if you WANNA make calls in the conference room you could do that. You know you could do it. it'd be okay and he says. I'd prefer just to be out here you know. That's why I drove. You're paid to be here and I said okay. Prices you kind of stay off that phone off the phone because again. I'm hosting a conference here in because apparently my teammates had tried to interact with him and he just wasn't having it so next session. He does it again this time. It's like I don't know what he's doing. Is that customer service issue or something. But it's like very disruptive so on the third session I pulled him aside and I said Hey. I think it's best if I refund you double what you spent. You know you take it for two hundred fifty dollars. Let me just give you five hundred dollars and you can head back. And he says What money's not good I said well even a thousand. I'm educated you to go because it's getting bad here. Well he decides he's going to devote the rest of his life to writing things about me and so now to this day. If you Google me I'm you go on to page two or three. You'RE GONNA find this guy who's like Klay Clark as a fraud. He scams people. Well if it's a fraud it's a pretty long fraud. I mean I've been working pretty hard you know. I've been self-employed for twenty three years. I mean this is a pretty long Ponzi scheme here. I mean I'd have to pay a lot of people I'd have to pay. Shaw homes the largest home builder Oklahoma to pay somebody with a lot of reputation to lie about the fact that they've doubled their company or I'd have to Pay Thomas with full package media to make up his growth right after doing a lot. Then I'd have to pay him to go ahead and buy. The Tesla has to scam. Everybody I mean it would be at. There'd be a lot of moving parts if if in fact a scam but people can say that so video reviews are powerful because they are validating that you can't fake Charles. Talk to me about the listeners about the importance of getting video reviews. We found a lot of people when they go online and typing like ninety percent of consumers. They'll go to the google to look for a product or service if they're looking for haircut sel type in like haircuts and the city boom your business comes in or like gyms will type in gyms Bartlesville or gyms to be good gyms Joplin in all pop up right in the top and I had videos that are right up there at the top right close to the top people love to click on videos and they can see that they. The videos are decent quality but they're authentic. They're not paid actors. These are real people caught in the gym talking about their experience talking about results talking about what they like and That type of stuff I think really really shows to the consumer and then when they get done with avenue we have so many videos. We have hundreds and hundreds of videos that. Just keep populating next up next up and they're like wow this gotta have some sort of truth even if there is five fake. They can't fake hundreds or thousand reviews or video reviews and they can't fake thousands like used to say you know like ha ha. How could you fake thousands of positive reviews? So it's just a a landslide of positivity that they can quickly see when ninety percent of consumers go to Google that you are a valid business. You're carrying on good ethical. Work Consumers are majority vast ninety nine point. Nine percent consumers are very happy with the product or service. And you've really helped us. You saw that. We were already businesses and say I can really work with you but you have to be ethical yet to truly care about your product or service making sure that that person is wanting to give the best customer service best quality product at really competitive price. Point when you're already there as a as a business owner and you really care about people. Clay can do a great job. His team does a great job of growing and scaling. But you can't be selling snake oil and fake stuff but he can really get your promote your product. Get it out there and you'll even grow faster. It's been huge game changer for us. I Have Devon on the show today a one because Devon is honest Abe almost you know what I mean. He's he just. He cannot tell a lie. He's a proud member of raimo. Church DEVON A DETONATOR DESTINY CHURCH. And you've been married for how long now it's eleven years now. You live behind Raymond though right next would you go to destiny church idea? Do you feel any cognitive dissonance. Like you should go the Raymond just because you are near no no. I appreciate their lights though. Beautiful here real quick. Pass shady of you so you. You can validate this and keep the camera on him Kim and ask the questions look right into his eyes. Look into his eyes. We had a client back in the day for about thirty days. Okay who never. He pretended to be a doctor. Oh Yes yes. Do you remember this doctor. Yes you're this yes in what was going to Dr. Did he pretend to be? We won't mention his name or the city. He's end but tell the well just we just listeners. Can some context here he was a testosterone? All that kind of stuff but he said he was a doctor right now. Here's what's crazy kindle. I want to talk to the listeners. Here this is. He says he's a doctor now. Usually when you talk to a doctor. They're usually I just try to make and model of doctors and this is not always true but usually they're not super athletic. Usually the good Lord gives all of us different tools and as a general rule. The guy with the hugely developed mind is usually not decathlon. Not always but just the vast majority of the time I'm usually not you don't see like freak athletes who've spent a huge amount of their time into fitness also being great doctors or vice versa. Usually so it's kind of a little bit of a warning to doctors. Tend to be very prompt and being on time and homeboy was never on time never at all three people that are doctors typically. Don't avoid telling you where they went to medical school. They wear like a badge of honor. I'm saying to myself wait. The guy from wasn't CSI where he's like you know it was that the red head guy from CSI. Well appears as though the body I know and he always has an epiphany you said he does. He always like well. It's like Saturday. Where was I on Sat? Tiffany so I'm doing that in the media. I'm going so you don't WanNa tell me where you went to medical school. You are late. You're really really into fitness and sports. You're not a doctor. And I said that to him and he goes what what. You're not a doctor your your Nada. Dr Sch. So I said is that true? He goes hey brother we gotta keep this. We got we got to keep this between you and me Okay and. I'm going what I'm a doctor to them. I said to us to people who buy the stuff and I said well I tell you what. Let me go check on some real fast. Come right back so I go out and do a back link report in. I don't know if I show this to you guys but all of his back links we're from pornography websites. Yeah he was running ads on pornography sites where he sold a stuff and so I said Hey I have a question for you just so I can really help you or do you. Just tell me between the steroids. Are those like synthetic things made in China? Oh Yeah it's like ten cents on the dollar now you never know what's in those things but I mean it's been independently and I'm going so you and do you do on overseas banking. He goes. Yeah so an intrusion. Paul can verify so Paul he goes. He says clay. You recommend a good accountant. I said absolutely and I'll have him to report right now though what you want to sell and he wanted us to run ads on adult websites for him man. I said. I don't think we're a good fit you know. I'm just going to refund you right now. I think in you could find someone who specializes in more digital online marketing. You know and he is are you are you saying that. I'm I'm a scammer something or what's your deal and he like. Yeah well he goes and meets with Paul Hood. He's asking Paul what the best way is to deal with the IRS when they're coming after him for tax evasion over like a multiple your period of time in Paul's letting them know like one. You gotta quit doing that too. Where's where's the money says? Well it's all in the CAYMANS and it's all in a lot via an Caymans and so Paul calls me. We've got a bogey on her hands. Well it turns out. This guy comes in again for another meeting. I don't even know he's scheduled now but he is pissed that I will not take his money. This is and you saw this guy debit. So now. He's saying well. Hey here's the deal to Juno on fiber and you can just buy reviews. I'm going you can't just by reviews anyway that I don't need you guys. I'm just GONNA filter so it is. It is and so anyway long story short. I think I'M GONNA. I'm GONNA do a search real quick for something kindle. Don't look what I'm searching for. Okay don't I'm not don't I'm amen. Amen God is real. He is not in the top three on Google. Now he's not he's not in the top three Google right now. But what's crazy? Devon is that we sat there with him in the first couple of meetings and we showed him the moves to do and he implemented in got to the page one of Google and I felt bad rep before a client. Usually cancer cancels. What are they normally change? All of their password. Yes any change all this passwords so I couldn't take his site down or remove the search engine content but Google caught on and it turns out. Google IS PRETTY SMART. Just him and now. He's not raking anymore. And he couldn't get video reviews because nobody who's honest would give him a review because he's so shady if he had any customers at all they would leave so a video review is powerful V. I s. m. Kit. Those video reviews the second images images stock images for a second images. If you search for Joplin gyms or you search for Tulsa haircuts. Let's let's search right now. It's still a search and pull it up here so the Charleston. We've achieved one goal today. One of my clients in candidate today told me about this and I'm excited. He said I had them. Google search it Josh Berlin Canada. And he said it's true. Google Search Bill Belichick Fan. Because I said Hey I'm showing right now and you search for Bill Bill Fan. I am now the top of the world. Is this true for you? And he says yes because the Canadians. Google searches a little bit different. It Devon double verifying in incognito window and when you search for Bill Belichick number one fan look at my face coming up top and Google. Bill Belichick number one fan. My face is all over the place. Yes yes billy you know. I've been chasing you for seven years and I and I know you didn't film The bengals illegally. No you didn't really be you're my guy. So here's the deal is images. It TURNS OUT. Devon people look for images true you know what a lot of people search for and they search for me to have and I've I've been finding this out recently Klay Clark Wife. Oh and do you know why that is talk talk about why do people look for the images of my wife? What does that because like? Who's got what do you WanNa probably understand who she is. What kind of sick frequent. Mary a guy like me. Probably a bigger darker issue. So there's an article in which you put a link to it. Okay I want to show Charles. And everybody can see this graph. This is so powerful folks powerful. Its power this. Today's show is powered. This is this is like the the death star show. It's articles call how Google retains more than ninety percent of market share. How Google retains over ninety percent of market share this article right here. This is powerful. You WanNa you WANNA show. That's applicable. This is it now. We got this little graph here Devon. Would you call this a pie? Chart is that what you want to call this. You calls a pie chart okay pie chart and it shows right now that sixty two point six percent of all searches are done being done via google without images just Google itself twenty two point six percent of searches are google images so between the Google search and the images homes that's eighty four percent. Eighty five percent of all searches are done between the images and the non images again. If you're searching on Google right now that's sixty two point. Six percent of people do that but twenty two point six percent of people click on the images but then they search who knew that. I did so youtube. Four point. Three percent of people use U. Two and one point three percent of people now go to the maps and they just sort for the highest rated which represents an aggregate total of ninety point. Eight percent of all searches are done using Google entity. So let's talk about tests where there is no visible your online visibility will perish images. You GotTa get images now Charles. Getting images. You'd be hard to take images of Colo fitness. If you're Jim was nasty you wouldn't want to show it to people so you could see why Google would rank you high now. Let's go back to the non doctor this guy. I asked him to get images and dividend your CD images that he provided to me. I don't believe so my gosh. They were definitely from like an ice stock or from somebody else's website and they were dirty pictures like they were dirty. It was like not like it was like somewhere between adult content and like the swimsuit edition of sports illustrated somewhere in that line without complete nudity. And that's what he brought to me and I'm like are these your pictures he goes. Oh no get them off. Line ganked him now. Let's talk about how Google sees images. Google sees things Zeros and ones this is called Binary Code. People don't know this but the Internet is calm is built of binary code at Zeros and ones so Devon Google tell if you copy an image. It can how each image has Data called Metadata that is embedded in the image. And that tells you all kinds of information it can even tell you what kind of camera the image was shot on and win. It was shot on when it was shot true in wear in wears. It's why what's what it's wild it is wild and this is why you gotta be careful of winning where you take images Because they know so images it would be hard to get images of things that were optimisation. If you didn't keep your Jim Clean. Charles. You're not embarrassed to put your images up there and you say like take him having people take real images in your club you have real people taking real images uploading them there. Yup and so. That's what happens. And that's why we rank high and that's why it works D I s M visit them. Think about that for a second. Visit Them V. I s. m. visit him. It's so important that everybody gets this idea. Do you remember the song Saturday night? There Song Saturday night. Maybe if I heard a bit of it really yeah I think I would I'm usually good ones. I hear songs. Okay I'M GONNA queue it up here for you. This is this is this is. I'm Tracy mccray sem into some kind of chant. Here for you let me let me cue it up here we got. This is from the movie so I married an axe murderer. So are we gonNA turn this into some kind of chant because it's gotTa be a V. I. Sem that's where you're online success begins. It's gotTa get stuck in your head and because of neural pathways. I've got to say this a lot because somebody right now. You are at a truck stop. You're pulling over right now. You're going to McDonald's you're going somewhere but up up up and someone saying thirty one fries with that and you just turn me down you turn you turn it down or your wife or your husband doesn't like business and they're like could you turn it down. You're distracted and distraction will keep you from taking the action that you need to take in. This could make you millions Charles. What would happen if you didn't have a website at all No website you'd have less of an online presence pretty dramatically Would it be bad? Yeah would not be good Devon. What's it like having a website? The people can't find. It's kind of like it's it's like You know having a really nice billboard in the woods in the woods a billboard in the woods this is. I'm asking you Mr Listener. Mrs Listener is Your Company. Is Your Company's website a billboard in the woods is it a billboard in the woods? Think about that for a second. Yes it is 'cause you know 'cause what happened is you built it yourself on Wicks. You built yourself on the wordpress you. You've asked someone who knows you to build it because their family and they've tried their best but we're there is no visible. Your online presence will perish. Unique video reviews debit. Good when you hit the video reviews you gotTa Post those beasts on your google map and on Youtube. Why because that's just a more more places that Google can find Your videos and people can find it. People are going to search your google map look at your reviews and then also be able to see those video reviews right there. Now what what? What were you? Were then Youtube. Youtube is You know one of the fastest growing search engines That that is coming up. You know people don't think of Youtube as a search and Joel but it is. Maybe it is because it wasn't on that paragraph pulled out and pulled it up here up here four point three percent of all searches are done you too by the way I did. I tell Ya More than five times today. About how? Good the Carl's junior beyond meat. Burger was I heard that at least at least twice. Have you tried it yet? I have not tried it. I suck at marketing. I want to order some tomorrow for you guys. I think I'm going to do it. I think the next conference I went on Saturday. Get the beyond the meat burgers everybody as opposed to what we normally do. Okay because I have you. Have you ever been tempted to all the check this out a little bit on on the Walker? I've seen more advertisement for that one. My wife is really into healthy. You know and and that's awesome. I'm excited about that. And she really likes the vegan stuff. Okay and I just a lot of tasting. Would you know and I so I went in there with expecting nothing and it tasted as good as burger or better. It was really good. Wow Yeah but I'm telling you district and I how. How does this relate to Internet marketing? The average person when you heard that you immediately thought that's gross. You're wrong that's fine. A lot of you are thinking right. Now there's no way the Internet marketing. Simple Charles somebody wants to make it more complicated. You know what I mean though. Yeah Oh yeah. You give fitness tips. Okay so let's say you're sitting down with somebody right now and you're giving them diet tips and they're sincere okay. Somehow they got the Charles. Kill special something happened. I'M NOT SURE. But somehow amber says. Charles you want to train a one on one client. Okay fine it's a thousand bucks a session. So they want you want because you don't train people anymore as a personal trainer. But you you talk to. Amber neighbor goes okay. Fine three three sessions a week. A thousand dollars per session and so all the money goes to Amber Amber Foundation. Okay so and then that's about it. Probably two thousand dollars per session. But there's gotta be some number eventually where you're fine okay. You can take a Kleiner but you sit down with them sincere and they say Charles. Tell me specifically the meal that I can eat just I just eat one meal. What is the one meal that everyone could eat and just drop on averaging ten fifteen pounds at I forty five days just lean meat and vegetables and that's IT and water and they want they want to make it more complicated? Do They not have you? They just do that for thirty days. Almost anybody will lose at least fifteen people want to make it more complicated cheat day. Yeah they wanted yes. They want it to be more complicated. They do they want to have. It is complete as possible. I I always. I've learned the best way that that you can train a Klein to make it very simple. And if they act confused and you just have to. Kinda create their meals for the week and it just falls in line with the simplicity of it and it's Kinda like youth coach and you give them simple principles and then you just have to make it if they wanted it to be more complex. Here's your actual action items and this this this this this and it's basically you're saying visit them to dominate Google. Yeah this is. What's interesting. Is that our relationship as you guys. Continue to scale your opening up two more locations. I believe this year. You Sir as you guys scale. Our relationship will change because it becomes. It's always about how you get your team to execute it. Yes and what I found with bigger companies. I've worked with like oxy fresh. You got four hundred locations. Matt Klein came and spoke at. The conference is great with four hundred locations. The biggest issue is. How do you convince four hundred people to all do the right thing? It's more about that than coming up with a new strategy. It's more about. How do you get people to do? The strategy and teaching a group of four hundred people to do four things could be tough. And we're it's a challenge because on today's show we're trying to teach a half million people to do things so I'm going to hammer this home but visit them stands for video reviews images now images you gotTa name the images properly. Devon if I wanted to optimize right now for Tucson men's haircuts what should I name my images? You should name your image Tucson Hyphen. Men's hyphen haircuts. And then whatever the image is about so if it's somebody cutting here the new a man cutting hair or something and then you got. You got out of the image attributes correct. What is that isn't the Meta description for images You can add a Meta description for the image. The biggest part is the ultimate attribute once the image is imbedded. The alt- attribute attribute talk to you about that. You just use the word I think. What are you talking about you talking about the old genesis game altarpiece? The old attribute is is the texts that will show up if the image cannot load. So if someone's on a phone out in the woods and they have really slow Internet connection there trying to load your website. Sometimes those those bigger images will take a little bit longer to load and so while that images loading instead of just having a big square there by adding all text it then give someone an idea of what what that image is supposed to look like and it also gives a blind users the ability to see in their minds. I what something is exact. Because it's described to them true. So let's get back into this the Devon. What does it stand for video review? Come on now get those video reviews every day every day air day. So you gotta get video reviews everyday homeys now images name the image properly. We gotTA GET IMAGES EVERYDAY. Devon every day every day because Google wants consistency. That's right consistency because consistency is where the success be. I'm telling you think about this. For a second inconsistent people not cool not successful not trustworthy net promoter not the kind of businesses you WANNA do business with inconsistent in. Google looks for the consistency of Your Business. The heartbeat of your business is the consistency. Charles you guys smash it up co law fitness. Oh Yeah I would argue this because I worked with so many fitness people before you and by the way I work with some fitness people now Brett didn't with cavill fit. Yes awesome awesome guy. Clint Howard awesome. Luke Owens awesome. You awesome but man. I've worked with some fitness people. That just can't seem it's so ironic though that they cannot handle the consistency of online marketing. And these are the same people in Dev seen this. They can't handle the consistency of actually showing up for their personal training sessions. Here that's important. Charles what would happen if you started your business back in the day by doing personal training this what would happen if you go to the client. One Time Oh quick fire you. You're done if you well if you like work with them for two years and you happen to miss their like what happened. That's so rare but yeah you can't miss clients now. The next part of the victim the V. is the is search engine content. You've got to create original search. Engine content endeavoured if you'll put point A. N. B. Under here soil listeners. Have you've got to create original relevant? Html content original relevant hypertext markup language content the most words about the subject thrive nation. How many shows a week do we put out for five points? How many shows a week does John? Allow me to put out a guess. Take what do you think it is? What's that number? What's that number nine? However sometimes I do a show and I don't feel like it. I mean I feel like helping you the listener but I don't feel good example. We just had our Christmas party on top of the largest building the tallest building in Oklahoma called the city plex tower there on a Saturday. Night in Devon were you there I was there. I remember you there. You have a good time. It was great as a lot of fun. What was your highlight for me. It's always the cupid shuffle or any dance. That tells me what to do. Well the ones that tell you what to do. Yeah I'm to white well. Dj Aubrey was up there DJ and he was having a good time. And I didn't finish really wrapping up my night until about two. Am which is usually one hour one hour. Before I normally wake up so I was saying to myself self. You have committed to do an interview with Clint Howard. The morning at six you have committed to interview with another guy based in Atlanta Atlanta. And I'm like I got so this is this is a little audio from the from the party. This robbery just love and they're having a great time. There's a lot I mean. This is the Dan said versus Santa Claus. Having A Z challenging Justin ran to a dance contest. Is Our team dancing to the Hotstepper I mean people go in strong all night. That's what we do so I had to a podcast the next morning and I didn't feel like it right so I went ahead and recorded anyway but this is the first ten seconds of the show. You can hear what it's like Joan rivers host the show because I had I. I had nothing left. Man I mean I was. I was absolutely This is talking here. Let me see queued up Jason. It is the day after the threat. Time show conference. Oh yeah I went to bed slightly before I woke up today. That's right and we're breaking down. Nine Napoleon Hill notable cool. A if you're kind of dragging and you need to pick me up. This show is going to be the ultimate. But you do it. You do it. 'cause you say you're going to do it? There is no try to try. No no no what does that mean. Charles. What'S THE DIFFERENCE. I mean you're kind of our Broda. What does it mean to do versus tried and I wanna get your wife's take on this because there's a big difference between doing and trying well doing it is just basically separating your emotions and taking action your motions at certain points will take you hostage and derail you from what you really want to do if you just take action over? That's that's kind of my take. Well when I WANNA make up your wife here real quick. We met one a definitive lower mike for her little here. But you guys just went on a cruise as a couple and I don't know if you're weird like me. You're you struggle with vacations. I think your normal. I think you like to travel on cruises. Was it tough to want to come back? What did you like most about the cruise? No work no workout. You view the ocean. Yeah that's pretty. Heavy highlights are highlight was not working. What what islands did you enjoy the most or or sites did you enjoy most? We stopped at three different countries and Where'd you go? We went to Rotan Honduras coon beliefs. And so which one of those was your favorite? We've been to all of 'EM BEFORE I would say. Rotan is probably my favorite but this time we stayed on the boat we saw from the boat which is great really stayed on the didn't even get off the boat. We get off the boat in Cosmo and we. We had to find a little accoutrements for clay. I'll thank you so much for doing that. Encourage our listeners out there I presume. Tonight's elephant by the when kindle. You can see it on the shelf over there. It's right there. It's the small elephant. The NEAT elephant written there. Right there next to my Bernie Sanders toilet paper which by the Bernie Sanders tapers very effective. It's unbelievable tends to marketing ideas in Mexico. They do they definitely. What in one guy say to us. He said Yeah. Come on in here. Give me a chance to rip you off. Really owners an auction. Wow so let's talk to encourage the listeners out there both the men and women listening to this show. Who just you know because you guys you and your husband. I mean he used to train clients. And you're at Your House. One hundred fifteen thousand dollar house in. Bartlesville you have. You know he was first. Client was five in the morning or four in the morning. And you're you're training people until ten o'clock at night you're cutting hair and some people just don't want to go through the they're having a hard time going through that that tough part they want the success now they want the cruise now. Encourage somebody out there having a hard time delaying that gratification. We always talk about the cognitive dissonance. And I love this saying where I think billy. Alsberg says it's when you turn your should into a must and I think it's the should in your brain. That's the cognitive dissonance that you're not doing the must so when there's something that you should be doing and everybody has a list of things they should do whether it's exercise or you should take care of your kids or you should the family or you should go to work or you should be on time or have all these kids and I think they don't turn them into the must in their life and so I think just being super consistent at just the self like self discipline just learning how to be diligent in just even small things kinda rolls over into bigger success in your life into other areas. I think what you said is one hundred percent right and I know listeners. Don't have the time today to read. The book called the power of Habit. I told the power of habits and I think that there's a few quotes in that book that all the listeners should should know It's a great book called the power of Habit. The the author's name is Charles. Duhig he says change might not be fast and it isn't always easy but with time and effort almost any habit can be reshaped. Change might not be fast. It isn't always easy but with time and effort. Almost any change can be reshaped. Almost any habit he says any habit can be reshaped now. He says the Golden Rule of habit. You can't exchange a bad habit. He says you can't extinguish about happened. You can only change it. You can't extinguish it like you have to replace it with something else rather than you've got to replace it yet. Insert something into your routine and a lot of people are are people have habits so let me give example of me. I don't do downtime so I could do. Good things with my downtime or bad things either way I cannot relax. I hate it so God made me this way. I don't know what it is but like I whenever I watch whenever we don't eat we don't eat with Matt Klein. And Michael Levine and great people. Aaron Mantis Steve. Carlton were out there for dinner and the entire time. I'm thinking. When is this going to be over? That's what I did? I actually went up to the bar. I went to the bar and got myself a drink as opposed to waiting way. Because I don't like waiters because I have to wait. Which is what I don't do that. They're called a waiter. That's what they do they help you get your. I'd rather just make my own or something I don't know I just like so it again. It's not it's not a great character attribute it is. It is thing so I have to fill my schedule up with an insane amount of stuff so I did is. I woke up at on Sunday at five. Am after going to bed at two am wake up. Did the show as soon as I finish. The show ended the show exported the show as soon as I did that. I wake my kids up. And we went and finished by Vanessa Christmas gifts and we went to Carl's junior to sample the beyond Meat Burger and then after that I returned a DJ system. For Aubrey before the rest of the world had woken up by the way the mall opened nine says Guitar Center. I love some the first person there. There's no traffic some already done with a lot of my list. Then my wife had blood in her car so I went and got her. A different car changed out the car. All you got to get one vehicle from ADP. My mom helped me do it. And I got all that done before. Like eleven o'clock now. Most people are still just getting going on a Saturday or Sunday. And then you know I listened to td. Jakes and I take copious notes. And I listened to have a pastor Chad Everett sermon to copious notes. Now it's like noon then. I helped my son. Organiz every single power cord that he has you know where you organize them all hung up nicely and that kind of thing and then after that I watched the Patriots game and I take notes. Why Watch the game and then after I did that? I get ready for whatever the next thing is that I had zero downtime. I cannot do it so I have. What he's talking about is you might have a habit of being. You know whatever your thing is. You've got to replace it with something else but if I were to replace my need to get things done with a destructive habit that would be the same thing like if I were to do drugs I would do more drugs than anyone. Because I like a very CD obsessive compulsive doo-doo-doo kind of guy. So again be very important today. Understand this we've got to replace some have it in our business with the ISM. You've got some habit in your business right now. I don't know what it is but you might. Everybody meets every morning and in your office. And maybe they have coffee and they talk for twenty minutes before they do anything and maybe we replaced that habit with. Let's take twenty minutes and let's call people and get a review every morning. Maybe that's our new ritual. But we've got to find a way to do it Devon. Why do you think some clients just can't seem to figure this out until I nudge on them yell at them? Encourage them taes them. I even I even even now wager last week. One Eighty Dollars. Ooh Eighty dollars. Wow I bet people cash twenty bucks. They would not get a Google review every day and I lost last week one time but I won four times for a total of eighty dollars. I one I almost got my wife's Christmas gifts this year by by wagering my clients. I'm serious I got about three hundred dollars of wagers in the past three or four weeks. My wagering my clients and it's funny when I wager some some people that's the only thing they get some going that twenty bucks right some people. It's it's They WanNA prove me wrong. Some people it's can you talk about. Why do you think some people don't get reviews even though it benefits their company? Why would they not do it? Unless they're betting me twenty bucks forces them to change something in in what their normal routine is and get out of their comfort zone and a lot of times now. Why our final our final? Vi as m m is more Google reviews amber. Why can't we ever stop getting Google reviews? Cough nece yes. Have I mean? I don't want exaggerated all I'm just saying if you type in Joplin gyms right now. You have three thousand seven hundred and seventeen reviews. The closest competitor has two hundred and forty-six. Clearly you're doing well check out to peak to pick okay. Why can't you stop like? Why can't you amber stop getting reviews in the same reason you're running a race? You're not gonNA stop. You're just going keep going. Why can't you petitions always on your? He'll walk you. Stop brushing your teeth. There's two reasons why why can't you? I WANNA keep my tea. Why can't you stop being a good wife? Because they have a really awesome husband and I got to try and keep up with him and keep him happy. I feel like a lot of us out there though. It seems like a stupid question. It's a stupid question from a stupid host. Why can't we spy? Can we stop brushing our teeth? But I think a lot of people feel like they want to get to the end of it right so I want to introduce the listeners to a new word. A New Devon. It's the word of the day excited about the word of the day. Oh you know I am okay. The word of the days this. It's commencement now. Commencement people take a lot of times. Bam Bam Dum Doodoo to pick him up commencement or they. Think about the Going to Reno and watching a bunch of high school kids have their names. Read an alphabetical order while being handed a sheet of paper. But devin have you been to a graduation. Recently mind took forever. Where did you graduate from Broken Arrow? Ooh How many kids who graduated in my class there were just under eleven hundred. Who Gave Your commencement address? I don't remember it. Was that good. It was so good. That's so these commencement addresses and then we go. We're done we and people start to think that way like we did it. Do they think that Devon we did it true why because they believe that that is the end. They finished something. We did it but they didn't do it yet. What do they not do when you have your commencement address? What did you not do I? I probably took an APP. I really really do believe though people think they they did it. We're top and Google. We don't wait. I've top and Google. Yes yes yes google. 'cause you stopped the divisible debit somebody out. There's fighting back right now about the victim they want there to be aboard deep more complex way to dominate. The Google search results. Well it is true that you definitely have to have your website be compliant to start true and mobile compliant. But you can't stop. Why can't you stop having? Why can't you stop going back to that whole concept of consistency and understanding that your business has a digital heartbeat? You know has an online heartbeat. And once you start once you stop putting those reviews and video content those images up than Google after seeing it consistently just drop off. They wonder if maybe your business had a heart attack or something. Do you know what? The word endeavoured. I'm not trying to paint you into a asking listeners. Here do you Mr Listener Mrs Listener. Do you know what the word prism means? Prism PRISM PRISM PRISM. Geometric geometric shapes maybe Let's go there's two definitions okay. One is referring to geometric shapes. We can talk about that. The other one means is used figuratively with reference to the clarification or distortion afforded by a particular viewpoint. Everybody there today needs a clarification of the victim. Prism you gotta understand this that in order for you to go to the next level. You've got a master this skill. This is similar to amber. Do you remember when we used to have to mail letters. I know you just turned twenty three. And that is the exciting thing for our listeners. Out there we're very excited. Her twenty third birthday. Do you remember when we mailed letters. Oh yes remember. How remember when you used to have to write words on paper Yes what I know. If I'm twenty three but I mean this is like the new normal everybody out there has to know what division is you have to know. Ignorance is not an excuse if you ranco law fitness and you were not aware of the various laws related to the business. Or what kind of things did you learn at the conference? So there's there's a bunch of stuff at the conference. I learned that it's very hard to pull focus whenever Michael Levine is walking about two feet in front of you But no tons of stuff like a now actually have a full set list. I have now my desk at home. Yup all the action items. I need to do to get my personal media business to the next level. I've now been looking up how to get get a wordpress and get that hosted by go. Daddy GO DADDY DOT COM. Yeah so I've I've got a whole list of action items now that I'm trying to take I just I think there's somebody out there. Charles is overcomplicating this right now. Just like people overcomplicate fitness. And I'm not asking you to attack our listeners. But I'd like for you to pretend for a second that you knew and by the way you do it for ten that you knew that listeners were just four daily activities away from making millions of dollars. Absolutely they're just four. They have a good product and a great service. Great Service Great Product. And they're they're just hidden. There is no vision because they don't know the victim. They're not doing the victim. Is there hidden? What encouragement would you have for the listeners? Out there who are going yeah vow. I don't have time to do it. What encouragement would you have? Better step-by-step methods to following that You can reach out to claim his team for business coaching. But those four you will literally give like three to four action items every week and you just literally knock out just three to four little things every week every week and the next thing you know you look back. Twenty four months later and you're up to two fold and grow sales. Yup Your margins are better you better. No brainers presences just dominating on every social media site. Everything's point into better leads. You've got better systems. So yeah why do you? Why do you think that we don't take on more than one? Hundred Sixty clients. 'cause you you personally trained people what happens once you start to have because you typical client. You would train epic you a duet with three sessions a week or five a week. Yeah about three. Generally three sessions a week. So with your schedule you're working eighty hours a week at the time. She could probably only work with maybe twenty clients personally at that time. Twenty five is it was number. You had a certain Max. Well there's a certain point where you feel like you're not giving really your qualities declining a little bit just trying to run through numbers and then my key is to never you know you kind of want to know where the decline numbers you never go there as well. I think for you and me. We thrive on excellence and trying to really work with good people that are implementers. Really People WanNa fall in the workout people that really WanNa fall action items. Yeah you like to see success. You like to see your customers get results. You want to see your business coat. Businesses really thrive and grow. And so you can really kind of be selective like you are now like at two hundred and some that one end. You already have a pretty this week. Yeah so it was. It was very full. Load can be very selective and Yeah that's that's the big thing is is whose exact question. I wanted to ask your opinion as to why because we do was very similar. You as a personal trainers very similar to being a business coach very similar coaches and get somebody out there saying well. Why don't you take on more clients? What starts to happen when you have like your. Jim's now you don't know the average member member but they don't expect to know you know but what happens if you have coaching pro-gay people expect for T- yeah it gets weird.
