Well, he knew he must have known it was an advance in my birthday, but hey, they don't get much bigger in this business and Mark Levin. Long-term friend of mine, The Rock ribbed all American conservative voice of reason from Franklin square Long Island Sean Hannity. Rush Limbaugh passed into the hereafter. So many others in this thing of ours talk radio. Which is near and dear. And it's different than anything else. It really is, as I keep saying it is the most intimate form of communication. Because it has an impact on your life and to whoever the hopes to host this is what a group that may be together talking to you, it has and indelible impact on their own lives. And so I never thought I'd make it at 69 to be perfectly honest with you. With all the trials and tribulations and the close calls, but clearly, it was meant to be, and I'm all enjoy every second of it every minute of it. But not in a manner that you go out and you just enjoy yourself or enjoy sake. No, no, no. I enjoy myself when I'm helping people. To me, I saw that in my parents, my father Chester, my mother, Francis, the most joy that they ever had in their lives. And I saw you a little boy on their faces. When was when they helped people that they didn't even know. Nameless faceless anonymous people that would cause them to stop at a moment's nose and reach out and help them in whatever capacity they could at times they were very limited, very difficult at times, surviving with a family of three, I oldest sister, a leader, myself, and my youngest sister, Maria. But they would always help. And when you see your parents derive such great knock as great joy by just helping people, strangers, people they don't even know. It definitely rubs off on kids, the greatest influence on any child. Is what they see in their parents. They were role models. Because it shouldn't be sports stars, it shouldn't be entertained as it shouldn't be talk show hosts. It certainly shouldn't be politicians. The role models for children should be their parents, and for some it is for others, unfortunately, the parents don't live up to that or the parents have left or the parents horrible, terrible role models. And they have the toughest time at all. On this 69th birthday, I am so thankful for the parents that I ended up with. Chester and Francesca, without, without which I could never have completed all the things in life that I've set out to do. And I thank all of you the listeners who have fortified me over the years through some very tough times. Extraordinary highs and some really crushing blows and lows. I still don't understand the problem. I see that there's like faulty leggings leggings. But then you know and some of the people in the documentary where those who experience the faulty leggings but then you also have the owner. I forgot his name and mark mark and he was and he's like saying that those were not the jews were very small percentages of of how whatever but i also but i don't understand like if all of the it wasn't it wasn't because at one point they had to pay people back for the shitty inventory they sold and they spent over fifty million dollars paying people back so it was a lot of people that i will that i will learn in the fourth episode. Yeah but what. I don't understand is why did the quality all of a sudden get so terrible. I mean obviously you. They were just too hillbillies running a billion dollar company like they had no experience that they hired high level people there nephews and their sons. They didn't know and by the way they're growth was unbelievable and if they had stayed. I think like fifteen thousand retailers. They could have been successful even fifty thousand but a hundred thousand note that in all the c. suite level people right yo right but then also at a certain point. There is a cap to how many retailers you can have. Even if you have bob iger running. You're right because then there's a there's seven other women in her town where selling lulu everybody's got their leggings like there is a you do max out so i think they've reached that point where.

Yeah and unassessed. Her brother thinks none of that stuff is actually going to get us out of the climate crisis that climate change is a huge systemic problem. And the only way to fix it is with bake systemic solutions but says in her voice mail. She's not so sure about that. I know that we're not going to recycle and bike and beyond burger our way out of climate change. But i do have a slightly more optimistic view that individual consumer choices can make a difference so at margin sucker or can individuals actually do something so we focus a lot on the show on being picture solutions yachting's like government policies to limit climate harming refrigerants or things that we can do to increase renewable power changed how we farm. But we know because you tell us that a lot of you are wondering what should i be doing as an individual in my daily life and do those individual actions even matter when listener even told us about a spreadsheet. He made tallying up all his family's actions. I love a spreadsheet and the associated carbon footprint of each action of sort of like trying to win other footprint down and another one of our listeners. This listener remark wrote.
