"Mark Laser. Josh sees Dave man, Dimitrius Stanley. You know, I'm suffering already from, uh, Camilla Derangement syndrome. Every time I start seeing her, and now I can't stop thinking about what you said. Dave Man were in the thing in a commercial break yesterday or something. I look up and she's on TV. And she's Again. The TV's muted here in the studio, but this smug kind of condescending, head shaking thing She does not are waving. Yeah, and you know just this. Just this smug. I'm better than you bell down. Kind of. Can you imagine what she's married? Yes, I believe so. Imagine what it's like Her husband. What he has Tio. Definitely be city down. Have you seen the picture in half our and has Joe Biden? Joe Biden sitting in the chair with his legs closed. She's sitting up on the table just behind him with her legs open. Have you seen that picture? They post it and say what? You know, entitle this or something like that. So yeah. Captain. This photo's Yeah. Real picture. That was all X rated. Yeah, Yeah. What I'm thinking of it real quick. There is a severe thunderstorm warning for Union County. Going till 4 45. So once again the National Weather Service issuing a severe thunderstorm warning for Union County going till 4 45 is just pouring down rain here second ago. This station is thunder. Yeah, back to the common thing. They? She's saying nationwide mask mandate wouldn't carry a punishment. Ogi. Thank you for that for not, you know, whipping up some sort of a punishment. If you guys do some nationwide mask mandate, right? Also the fact that you know The guy you're running with. Camilla says he's going Tio shut down the country's general down mandate. The man, this is this is beyond this anyway. She went on to say, Well, how would you enforce a rule and this interview aired earlier today on Ah, show this morning and she goes. Nobody likes to wear a mask. This is universal feeling right? Yes, you are correct. Finally, You said something that is factual. Nobody wants to wear a mask. She goes, But that's not the point. Hey, let's enjoy wearing masks. Come on, man. Come on. Also There is a rule that would require all Americans to wear a mask. They said that it could save 40,000 lives in a just a three month period. That's what hacked me off the most about this. This little article because I was talking to Josh say, there's no data that supports that were like yelling at me, but that's a fable. Is. It is no data to back that up that they could save 40,000 lives in a three month I am so tired of the studies show and data shows and they pawn it off as some sort of fact. I'm just tired of it, Man. It's fake news. Knock it off with that requiring Americans. It could save 40,000 lives in just three month period, you know? Yeah, well, we know they didn't get that from anywhere, but they just made it up. I know we know that it's this whole thing has been literally made up and you know the people out there that say 00 Trump did just such a terrible job. We're one of the worst nations as faras. People dying, so we got 170,000 and you say we need to. We should have listened to the experts, the experts said two million would die. 170,000 died. That seems like a pretty Good job to me. If you ask me, so I don't know where people have their information. By the way the experts didn't have, they said he's a xenophobe for shutting down for doing. What he did is for shutting China right, like the flights and all of that stuff. They listen to the experts. More people would. That's where the two million figure came from My They're like, Well if he hadn't acted so soon, we got two million dead. All right, let's let's pivot to Jacob Blank and that situation we're talking about it last hour. And you. Ah, you guys, Both were you and Dave man both, and we're saying that probably the officers are going to end up Not going to prison over there is a very good possibility. There's a very good possibility. So what else with this then? No, I I'm going to take a different angle here because the problem is this. This is the pattern right? And it's this manipulative thing the media does with this. They show you the person getting shot. They don't show you what all happened leading up to that It's theirs, the country up and so the way they do. It is just the clip of the event. Just a clip of the event. So they get everybody round up. And what I hate about it is the media. What they do is They show a black man getting shot right, So they grab the black population and oh, it's another black man. And then mysteriously, he just so happens to be another criminal. Right. So the big narrative in America's All these guys, they're just criminals, black people support criminal or whatever. Some cultures, don't they? Don't they say all? Well, he deserved it. He was a bad person, because some people relate criminal to bad people. And that's just how it is. So they get all the black people round up and then to separate us. They throw out the criminal record. And then the other people say, Oh, well, he was a cripple our criminal he was and they do this game and it's a pattern. You don't ever see them. See. Show you a good black man who takes care of his family goes, the work does things Right in life, right? Because that's not going to cause any friction because they're going to get everybody on the same page like George Floyd. This is what George Floyd taught me when we all see the same exact thing we're together. But when we see a black man that gets shot, Oh, but he has a criminal record. It divides us because one group says all to criminal record. The other groups like Oh, it's just a black man getting killed again and it divides and that's what I hate and they put out information before that all the information before they put it out. They don't get all of it. And that's why I say black people. Stop reacting that way. White people stop saying all he was just a criminal because that's what they're doing, and we're feeding it and we just make it worse. And we have to stop doing that, in that part of what's the reaction. What's the one we should do? That would be more uniting. Because when I'm saying, Oh, well, he deserved, too, because he was a criminal and then stop saying, Oh, just if he does well what he does wrong things. Stop saying, Oh, it's just another black man getting killed. Say, OK, this is what he did wrong. He does so many things wrong in that In that time, we'll go back to George Floyd. The vent? No, that was in its right. Right. So now that surfaced.

"So mark laser show the full sunshine beautiful day that we're having and it's Friday as well gotta love it man so beautiful outside get this into the weekend Dave man Josh cease and Mr undefeated Dimitrius Standley joining us as well I think they're all there is all right I was just making sure Hey so you guys president trump signed the small business aid bill and this pumping money into the popular loan program so this you know that actually was dry after the two trillion dollar stimulus bill that actually happened last month so this latest one gonna cover nearly half a trillion dollars federal spending includes billion for hospitals and additional corona virus testing so that just took place a little bit ago and I thought what was also interesting was the Lysol talk began during that as well and I I don't know how you guys feel about this I am I am sick to my stomach watching all of these morons in these idiots saying the you know the president was you know hinting at okay all right now are you really serious that you think that the president was telling people to ingest or inject Lysol into their bodies are you kidding me I I just I but it's awesome that is awesome because it is an awesome display of what they do and how they do it they don't research anything they just take the headlines and they go for it that is this this right here is perfect and I'm glad it's happening because people are really give the truly see where their brains are at it's crazy quite and Lysol I love how they're actually coming out with a statement to their their issuing a warning saying you know global leader in health and hygiene products you know what I want to say to Lysol is how about you stop sending out some sort of a statement and start producing more Lysol in the wipes because I can't find that crap anywhere everywhere I go now sold out everywhere I go sold out it's like stop doing something dumb like this and how about years to ramp up production that's what I say the Lysol it's not down to them this is this this is the real thing to them that they're the people that follow this stuff it's a real thing I've literally been on Facebook with people telling telling me that that he said that the issue Lysol or Clorox bleach and like show me at one point where he each Clorox I thought oh well that's not right he didn't say that but this is what he meant I'm like he's talking about disinfectant therapy there's but I know that I've researched standard the UV light with the in the nineteen forties and one of those things that have been bought for certain diseases then there's one that's called an old owner to read therapy which is also a Jews injected into the box I cleared them up even when you put that up in front of them Beispiele so you're talking about this is an epic Clorox bleach or something stupid yeah what were you gonna say day bath I was just gonna say I I'm sure Lysol has to disclaim it just remember via the elderly couple I think in Arizona that took the call recording that was the fish tank cleaner fish tank cleaner and and the husband died in the mom was sick and she was trying to blame the president for it and I'm sure now that Lysol name got mentioned they probably got to bend over backwards to disclaim because some knuckle head does it and then they'll try to take Lysol the court you know for damages yeah because I remember them and that because it if we're going to go way back to the origins of that idea and it may have started before this even remember the lady who spilled the hot coffee from McDonalds member and ended up like it spilled on her lap or so I don't know something along those lines where they ended up getting they were able to sue what were you gonna say I was gonna say you know what dig into that story because there's pictures online of the burns that she got it will change your mind to it you check that out I think it's real yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah oh my god the the pictures of the burns are horrible but man it's hot coffee is my point I mean I understand that's I understand look that hot coffee F. U. port right on your skin all that's not gonna feel good specially if you put a port on like top your thighs where they're not it may be the skin's not as tough they're not as worn out as whether to and all of that I mean I know I get you man I'm sure she was really injured but I mean it's hot coffee is spilled on yourself and that's what's going to happen there's a difference though between spelling a hot drink on your lap and spilling something that's called you down to the very bones in your lack that there's there's a bit of a difference there yeah I didn't I didn't realize that it Y. I don't even know held stayed inside of a cop then feel compelled to ask you know that's a good point I don't know yeah I just in D. I was going to bring that up and you were cutting out to man when you were talking I saw you post something on Facebook earlier about that ozone in there because the the president mentioned last night during the presser something about some sort of light therapy or something along those lines and he was kind of mentioning along with the heat and I thought it was kind of a summer type comment and turns out I guess is it some sort of therapy you were saying you were cutting out earlier when you're talking about that ozone therapy yeah in the nineteen forties and fifties and one of the last time that it was popular but there's plenty of information out there about UV light therapy to descend as use the the disinfectant for the body for bacteria than fungus is in viruses and stuff like that and then there's the other an inmate used the word disinfectant for the body it is zone three therapy that is also used to disinfect now this one the UV is the one that you you know go through your skin or whatever the old Andreas actually injected into the body and it helps the build the immune system to deliver more oxygen to the body and it's an act and it said it also disinfection makes the immune system stronger but you present that information to people from the left and they still want to keep talking about life all in he said cleaners I might show me where he ever where he ever use the word cleaner now he said clean Val queen but he never said cleaner right I don't think they make a distinction between cleaner and clean and went and there's a big difference in my personal opinion is what is it is there a turbo in ozone light that helps you break dance by chancer no that's funny you talk about your throat that movie up to my wife the couple nights where break at night where that thought one of my three break ins and beach street removed yes I do remember that most yeah and if there's a room in front of the store surveillance solaire is bad do remember all that that's so funny all right so the governor talking about is well you know we know that his announcement is coming on Monday at least as far as he's going to be a little more particular exactly on what this is going to look like as we slow roll or a soft opening or however you want to say it but Monday is when I believe he is going to talk about this and there are there's an article that the the Democrats are raising safety concerns in a letter to governor to wine and I thought well of course they are of course they're doing that they have they they they have a list of demands in it's kind of funny because Ginter remember we went over this earlier this week you guys like we're getting there was kind of kind of listed out some of the things that he wanted in some of the things on this list is actually the same and they're they're saying in this letter they sent governor DeWine the Democrats the Senate Democrats sent him a letter and they have request before he takes any action they tried to say you know our number one priority must be to protect the health and safety of all highlands in we oppose any plan that disproportionately prioritizes the economy over people's lives there's so many people obviously that disagree with that you know I guess on about you know probably five or six levels but some of the things on this list one of them is required use of masks in public spaces and this is the one I think that there are you know I if that has to be this way depending on you know which businesses they lay out I just wanted to because you know we talk about it every day D. but I wanted to get your thoughts on this and I know you're going you're looking at Georgia go and that's what we should be doing we should be open already kind of thing problem no I I don't think you should jump right into it don't get me wrong I do I do believe that the disease the virus is a deal it's the real deal right if it's gonna hurt you baby I mention you know compromise a new system and people that have weak immune system all right one hundred percent get that but you can't do anything right first here's my clinical what we're doing right now is we're like Ohio stadium for you this example Ohio state comparing for football games but they're only preparing for offense now the other that's that is your going to loop and every which way possible we can't just keep everybody tied up we did this it's been thirty days we flatten the curve okay cool so now let's move forward for the healthy people to get out and just start helping get the economy moving and tell the compromise people to stay in and stay in if you don't end up your person that scared to death well then don't go out but we can't continue to stay in our homes and here's my other question I don't know maybe you guys have heard something about you know this is how it works but if we're staying in our home and the disease never really gets to run its course and we're basically just passing it back and forth in the house aren't you basically prolonging the inevitable anyway yes you can't get to herd immunity and sold the most of us have been exposed to it that's the only way to build a herd immunity and and and that's my point so all we're doing is destroying the economy and then once we're all out anyway it's going to run its course and I think I'd actually keep saying it's going to come back in the fall well you know it's going to come back it never left it just it's floating around out there in and we're just staying in the home and nobody's really giving a mutiny to it and then we're going to go out and touch each other so course it's going to come back I don't know I I'm not a scientist I'm not a medical person I speak about Carmen no I'm not well Michael what but it's just it's just irritating okay they're going to go away but the damage in the whole you're putting in this economy is going to have a ripple effect for a loan long time so go ahead yeah so what I was gonna say is I wanted to get because were you were almost out of time here as usual manis goes by so fast the other a couple things that were also on this list the whistle blower protections for employees to report violations of the safety guidelines so they're saying basically there shouldn't be any kind of retaliation for an employee if they if they report an infraction and there shouldn't be you know that shouldn't be they shouldn't have to.

"To the mark laser show that's Dave man over there behind the glass that's Bob Randolph producing today so I put a video up on my blog sixty WTVM dot com Blazers blog on there put a video up you can actually check this video out and tell me who is in the wrong here there is a debate going on on social media then this is because there is a woman named windy who was sitting in front of a man whose seat did not recline his did not recline hers did so she replied there on an airplane and she reclined and this guy did not take it well so I guess what he did the first time the first time around he asked grease okay can you put your seat for it I'm going to eat so she applied she did and so he ate and all of that I guess later on the flight doesn't give a time frame on this but it just says she reclines again at some point so he starts punching the back of her seat so what she do she brings her phone up and begins filming him while he's doing it now the punching is kind of these little I don't know if you ever heard of the six inch punch like where you're literally six inches away from and this is something I think used to do when we were little kids like you get six inches and see who could punch the hardest into an arm it's about like that type of a punch in its rhythmic boom boom boom and then he starts speeding up towards the end of this she's completely ignoring him and you could see where he's getting pretty upset I got to tell you the guy looks like he looks like a bad man the jammer just looking at him he's he's got a big beard he's bald and he looks like a guy that can inflict some damage somebody just the look of him so this lady is not putting your seat forward so who's in the wrong here who's the one is in the wrong and there you can read all of the different responses and such on social media some people are just rose to her gonna hate here just showing how much of a B. you really are for doing this why would you not just put your seat forward and knock it off this guy can not recline he's up against a wall the finals around astro yeah so he's unable to go back to kind of keep that same amount of distance kind of between the seat that's reclined in front of them and then he can kind of make himself go backwards and keep that that gap there unfortunately he can't sell as a result her seat is decently close now I know if you're flown before you know exactly what I'm talking about I I'm of the old then I think you should be able to recline your seat if you want to they're made to recline why did they make them as such just change that then if you're the airline make it to where it can't recline problem solved for me that would be the simplest solution here or at least the role prior to the row that's last make those so you know the guy if you do that that's the new last row and then the person in front of them wow man I never even thought about if you really smart actually I'm really dumb well I I I just think that it's both of them black any sort of a problem solving skills to get over that Sir both adults and you're gone and and if if she's going to sit there and record him I did I did I don't think he should be punching the back of her chair and again when he's doing it he's not winding up in slugging rushes doing little rabbit punches alone but yeah he's trying to make her uncomfortable and so he's doing that and she's recording him doing that you have two basic in fence trying to find Hey Keren welcome to the show thank you for calling what your thoughts on this well first I love you guys you got a great show thank you so much this is being a jerk first of all he said he wanted to up her wonder her seat up so he could eat yeah you never said that you know I don't have any room would you mind not putting it down he's just being so passive aggressive if I was a check our water got there attendance said you know would you please ask him to quit hitting my seat well and you know what Karen she actually does that she complains this is on an American Airlines flight so she complains to the flight attendant and says you know Hey this guy's doing this and I don't know that he was doing it when the flight attendant walked up or whatever and I hopefully you're sitting down Karen because here's what happened the flight attendant didn't reprimand the guy the flight attendant offer him a free drink and they even threaten to have windy the one who was complaining escorted off the plane what did she do I based on the video and I explained it best that I can actually you know kind of figure everything out I don't know I I all I'm saying is that's what the flight attendant ended up doing it often offered the guy a free drink that's what I was getting what baffles me is you got somebody that's acting up was punching the back of a chair New York it would you like some alcohol what could possibly go wrong there right right right my mom was a flight attendant when they have prop planes and they never would put up with that yes very cool all right Karen thank you thanks for listening and and thanks for calling you know who's in the right here who's right who's wrong because they're a lot of people who've come down on either side of this I kinda like the fact that you know if it's if you're able to recline Hey man you know it's so be it don't buy a last row seat or whatever what are you laughing because did you see the the video it's transcribed and so it says Wendy's initial tweet was here's a great Jack Cole she called Blake Anders we it's their right imprint on the video is that just a baby life to see well yeah Cole the yeah that's the yeah that's the that's the actual that's the.

Kobe Bryant helicopter crash: Aviation expert explains what will happen during investigation

"Yesterday morning something tragic happened with Kobe Bryant his daughter and the other well Kobe Bryant and the other eight souls that were on board a lot of people are not actually talking about the other victims that were on board the helicopter yesterday and stand by because our aviation expert J. rattles gonna join me because we're going to go the the angle of the helicopter and what they were flying in yesterday John al Altobelli who is longtime baseball coach at orange coast college was on board his wife Kerrey their daughter Alyssa harbor day schools girl basketball coach Christina Mauser and Peyton Chester a middle school student and mother Sarah so Chester's Peyton Chester's mother Sarah was on plus of course the pilot I believe it's pronounced ara the boy in in all of those people also died and a lot of people yesterday were saying why aren't the talking about these people yet and they were trying to notify next of kin I think which is part of what I actually read but I just thought it was I just thought it was you know proper to to talk about those people as well because they all lost their lives and think about between all of these people that died during this accident how many lives were affected yeah it's horrible you know think about it's crazy we're talking a lot of lives affected one of the women on there the dad who was not on the flight was talking about how he has he's left now with three kids to raise he was on the today show so and he was like coming in to do this so I mean these are a lot of families these are a lot of people that were on that flight yeah it's horrible yeah it's devastating especially when you think about the kids that you know Kobe left behind and and everything as well so gosh there's obviously no way around just how horrible the whole situation is what is interesting is the helicopter that they were flying in a let's get some perspective on that and welcome in aviation expert Jay Ratliff J. welcome to the mark laser show my pleasure to be here which we had a more pleasant topic to discuss my friend I believe the helicopter that Kobe and the eight other souls that were on board is Sikorski is that how you say it got back that that this course you're S. seventy six it was a in for him is get like his mini van parked outside because he use it to commute pretty well everywhere but this thing was designed to think back in the early nineties as a vehicle to get the cruise on and off the oil rigs in the middle of you know the water and it's you know a rugged rugged aircraft in me communities around the country use it as their air ambulance which of course are things you have to be absolutely committed to and and something that is is a workhorse in itself so that this was nothing more than just just incredible piece of machinery and of course people look at that table why would a crash then well there's a lot of reasons why it could happen or the beginning of what's going to be a very long investigation is of the NTSB tries to find out exactly what happened so right now the initial reports are the heavy fog in the area and I think I saw a report yesterday from the sheriff's office in that area that their actual aircraft were grounded during that time because of due to the heavy fog at least that's what I saw one report yesterday and I know it's all speculating at this point but is could this really be something as simple as the fog was so heavy that all my gosh there's a mountain in front of me too late boom it could be but you're talking about an aircraft that is incredibly sophisticated that has everything on it including you know basically the the ground you know what a terrain warnings and everything else that's their right it it's giving you all the information that you need Hey when you have automatic direction finders you've got all the ground proximity warning system you have all the things it's incorporated in this state of the art fourteen million dollar whatever was aircraft hi I don't think I would consider it likely but look we we don't know what happened I'm listening to the press yesterday dues what they do they're calling me asking me for things and they're wanting to know okay when this week we will you know what happened and I said we won't that this investigation is at the beginning of what could be an eight to twelve month process they will begin the process of this very very long investigation I think eighteen or twenty agents on the ground right now we may get an initial report in a week or so but there's nothing that's going to be conclusive until that report pulls out it could be eight ten or even twelve months we're talking to Jay Ratliff our aviation expert here at six ten WTVN and the Sikorsky S. seventy six that is the helicopter the aircraft that Kobe Bryant and his eight passengers the eight souls in addition to him that were on board does it have a black box you know black boxes look let's say on a commercial airliner there's two of him they're not black or gray painted orange so you can find a man in a debris field easy enough and on a commercial airliner you have what's called a flight data recorder that records all the flight data this going on speed altitude headings course corrections blah blah blah the second black box is a call to CVR cockpit voice recorder the basically records the conversations that are going on in the flight deck as well as any alarms or anything that might be going on there this particular helicopter has an avionics package which includes the cockpit voice recorder not a flight data recorder is I understand I've not heard yet from the people that I've been talking to close to the scene on whether not this aircraft had a cockpit voice recorder but if it did once recovered it will certainly provide some needed insight for the investigators and they cannot start to answer three thousand questions with regards to what happened and what's the sequence of events that could fall give contributed yes could the pilot who had a heart attack yeah could there be a mechanical problem very well could have been is a possible because they have to look into this unfortunately was the pilot under the influence of anything medical you know prescription drugs or alcohol recreational drug all of these things are going to be looked at as possibilities was it pilot error was or something completely male unexpected that happened to the aircraft as far as it hitting a drone we we don't know any of these things and we won't till the investigation continues for some time and that's why when I hear all this talk about what the probable causes are I'm just shaking my head thinking it most of the time when we come out with these you you look foolish when you're trying to be the first to say it was this or that because we simply don't know we leave it up to the experts the all star team of the NTSB to determine what took place and we wait for their report so the cockpit voice recorder is that made out of this a similar type thing that the black box if you will is made out of so it's made to withstand a crash or something like that Hey that's one question and another one was if you know you're talking about they have to try to find out if the you know possibly the the the pilot was under some sort of influences something again you that was part of a list that you listed out like it looked to me here based on the footage that I was like how are they going to be able to test for anything it looked everything just look destroyed and burned out but I I don't know how would they do something like that this is this is crazy they will identify the remains and they will have the possibility of extracting enough DNA and different types of things within when you get a degree field it's a hundred yards wide long it's it's evident that the aircraft struck the ground at some speed the the there are some independent flight data this suggested was in excess of a hundred eighty five miles an hour you're very well could have him now again we I still have to have confirmation if there was CVR cockpit voice reporter right this one I know others have it and I would expect given his state of the art is this aircraft was I would be very surprised if that wasn't the case but even if there's not the investigators will be able in time to determine exactly what the likelihood of events were I've been asked why is the FBI

"Example had mark laser show Hey good afternoon welcome mark Glaser with David in the studio and Bob Randolph is actually producing today you know they found forever chemicals in the drinking water here in Columbus more on that in just a couple of minutes last night in Columbus there was a Joe burrows spotting I saw that yeah he each the first steak borough at Jeff ruby's last night that was obviously here in Columbus I would love to have here you know and somehow some way there wasn't like a review from him but I would love to hear you know was it better than skyline at least I mean you know what I'm pretty sure you keep down a narrow win over the the three way you're probably right you know what this is that if you put a Jeffrey we've been bad I have it in here Mister ruby was there right right at that photo was the two of them and and so that was pretty meditated that wasn't a fluke right and then like I was telling you over the weekend he was in Mason which is working Thailand is just north of since the there and he was there to be dubs over the weekend watching football and you know is like I think he how did I hear is a girlfriend or something from that area or around there I don't know there was some sort of connection I think other than all see you the burn a little to go yeah I think it's something other than that so far as the connection but yep Joe burrow into last I gotta get to Jeff rubies I again I love Ruth's Chris that's one of my favorite places on earth and then you know I love there's well there's a couple of other state plays that I really really and steak and shake is another one I guess for Andy it's all just a short story anyway I love that to you all all right so coming up on the show we will we'll get obviously the impeachment trial is going on right now I cannot believe how long shift is still talking right now he's actually still talking he has been talking for over over an hour at this point to I I think I think right wrist shortly after one o'clock I popped in and he was drowning and I mean droning on and on and on yeah I mean it is I mean it's crazy instead of presenting the case it's like he's making it all about him right he's a right exactly when you're listening to your goal and it what what what what exactly I mean here in there I can actually tolerate it for you know twenty seconds just to try to figure out worries that what he's talking about when he tries to punctuate throwing a little bit of drama it is so hollow it is true so shallow and bad that it's a those people got a long road from visiting the ones that Bob Barr all right okay let's depend in here a little bit of what's going on in.

"The mark laser show we are talk and what do you wish you would have learned early on in life they could maybe a major life better or easier now Roger thank you for waiting and tell us about what you wish you would have learned earlier hello Roger Roger is that they were and you would have learned not to stay on hold so long Roger areas Dave thank you for waiting and tell me what you wish you were to learn earlier our work for were learned earlier because this would have made my life so much easier because get out we've all wasted so much time over the years when all we had to do was have a damn for live bring our groceries out twerk aren't aren't recorder that pulled Josh out a little bit ago that but I figured I'd call it it does tell you much about I love it I love it I love our listeners of them and that way we gotta now play what it is he was actually referencing which was I don't bite me Joe Biden here we go all right one point two billion Agnes stacks forget a saucer to store it in a supermarket you control the guard the woman who runs the run around brings out the carts on on on on what happened you you control the guy or whoever that brings the cards out onto a forklift I know all this time I've been getting my whole grocery carts at Kroger I had no idea the forklift guy was going to bring me one and who do you have you ever been to all the where you have to plop a quarter in there to get your cards you're gonna hear in years but I heard is that and then do the music when you put it back a quarter pops out yeah you get your quarterback yeah unless you just you know but I just wondered if you actually took part in that because that's still quarter from what I understand so that actually is way less to bring in your own forklift and then you can get your own car take that thing right to the card corral and boom that's I guess the way to do it Hey Bruce thanks for call in and what do you wish that you would have learned earlier in life I really wish I will learn to believe in myself and what I mean by that is I didn't think I was smart enough as the rest of the kids around me in school for example I well I went to college the first time and I just skated through goofed off ABC's all back again later in life applied myself I got straight days all the way through and I realize now that I was smart enough to do anything because when doctor or anything if I would describe myself right now all right Bruce thanks appreciate it yeah that is that the one where you look in the mirror and you go dog gone it I'm good enough and I'm I'm sorry I did it I just that's what keeps popping into my mind I think it was a Saturday night on it people like me with that one up yeah is that what I'm good enough I'm smart enough and doggone it people like that's one of the newer and smaller and smaller couldn't keep wanna say Jared small in a new right no not too small yeah it it's basically what we were talking about is what what kind of got this whole conversation go was that UC Berkeley was they actually have an adult in class and it's a shame that a lot of you know students that are in college entering college they don't even have basic life skills Frances like changing a tire and balancing a checkbook gory or even have a checkbook but you know to their credit check books it's something that you know I'm going to teach my kids about or make sure that they know how to deal and you know but gosh by the touchstone who six by the time he is in that you know in that arena casual checks even still exist that I don't know I did I mean there are more towards ash there's an effort worldwide to get rid of cash which is scary it's the practical stuff I think about the very basic things that my dad taught me like I'm gonna hang a picture on the wall to drive the nail into a stone or how to how to change a light switch if the lights which goes bad I can do that basic stuff because my dad so there you need to know this stuff it's as much on the parents of kids as anybody else because we haven't taught him I didn't teach but did a write a check I know I haven't changed tired of feeling bad about it right about now no you're you're absolutely right it's it did for instance there's this great video out there on you to about you know the the cool thing that all the all the millennials or Jan Z. sailor okay boomer right like Tambay older yeah well then there's this other ones like okay millennial and then they give them they give a twenty year old a can opener a manual candle per se here get into this can of corn bread take care open the cayenne thanks for the the game of phone that was like an old school were out rotary phone they they couldn't dial the number let's be honest if if somebody gave me one of those crank phones that you know was around in the twenties and thirties and said okay call the guy across the street I wouldn't know how to do it either is that the only language to learn keep Reagan then go yeah yeah I wouldn't work that so yeah you know what that's kind of a good point because yeah I will I would have been none the wiser on that either artists and I don't know I would have known how to do smoke signals what are you talking about it into a bank now until may make a deposit in your checking account I've been a kid could do that yeah you don't do it anymore you go to the ATM or you do it on your phone you put the checks in on your phone whatever maybe take a snap a picture of it a lot of those yeah you know through the app you don't go to the bank teller and telling you want to put in fifty dollars and take ten dollars out of the deposit had but they couldn't do it because you just don't have to have that skill and they probably wouldn't know where they that they need a deposit slip could you imagine the teller go on you need to use a deposit slip in a go what's that now are now the other behind you on that that table right there and they look like the way your dog looks at your winners no treat in that your fake mounted just got that Tilton headlock yeah exactly right right you know what in this actual article they're saying you know older generations are scoffing at the millennials engine cities and the and they're saying they don't know how to perform these tasks educators are saying that the students are what they do is they start trying to make kind of excuses for their say and they grew up under this intense pressure they had passed college entrance exam what advantage he high grade point averages but I think what is being taught to achieve the high grade point averages could get it could change some to give them a little bit more life skills and a member of the used to be shop I was just gonna say and Josh brought up something about and I see a whole mac or something that was cooking that's just cook it was a little more than that it was there some selling in there now if if there was how do you know how to change diapers how to I mean there is basic like literally how to take care of a home how to what to do how to fix like all of them you know like a a circuit breaker how to like check your search box it was a little more involved listen I'm I'm older than both you guys in in in middle school I had wood working class and middle class and I had a leather class how to make a leather belt how to make a wallet how to make stuff out of metal I had a photography class how to how to develop film all that stuff just basic skills that now forget it they don't have any shop classes anymore I was gonna say it was cooking classes that sorry people who are born well after me sorry the home EC classes were for the young ladies sorry I know was sexist back then we didn't realize was are they do they still do like all my classes now you all know I don't think there's any well you know what that's a huge mistake because look at what the Food Network and all these cooking channel's look at the money that they had a right all my gosh huge demand for that and the like why would you not all for the schools a great option besides kind of hate to bring this up guys but there are still cooking classes because those kids that middle school but I wanted you all that's right members when they gather to get your own stuff also lesson right now this is on behalf of me mark and Dave please please when referring to domestic violence don't say this man.

"May welcome back to the Mark laser show. Just sees. So I don't know about you. But I'm really looking forward to the first pickle fest, which is coming to Cleveland. This this fall. I'm not kidding. This is a real thing. The it'll it'll benefit the greater Cleveland volunteers organization. It is the first ever pickle fest and. Harry. You can do with that. I kept it together as long as it's just there. F- first so much to be done with its teed up, isn't it? I do my son would actually love that. My son wants my son ate an entire jar big jar of those little Vlasic snack items like the little pickles. That's what my yes. I know. Exactly. My son. I have fridge in there. The Jews holding my son is obsessed with pickles. Well, the pickle fest might be something you seriously consider taking him to. It's August twenty fourth. It'll be in Cleveland, and it's open to the public. Of course, here's what they're celebrating take a wild guess. Yes pickles. But guess what else will be in their beer? Pickles got beer, we got live music as well. And Josh maybe you want to consider getting in the pickle eating contest. I think no seriously, my son, Robert, he would be a much better, pick leader contest, and than me and believe it or not they're going to, you know, they'll have children's activities Ravel's, and then they'll be pickled themed dishes, and desserts. I I don't know how they're going to do pickle theme desserts. But sounds like a good twist. If you ask me, so the event is free and one hundred percent of the proceeds are going to benefit the greater Cleveland volunteers. We could be starting something if it's that good in Cleveland, maybe we get the pickle fest plays it. Mark blazers pickle. Featuring the little tiny pickles. Try trafficking, traffic.

"It is Mark laser along with. Josh sees. I I'm on the little bit today. I'm actually a little bit of upset that Auburn what happened to Auburn happen. I mean, let's just be honest about the way. And here's the way this played out for me, by the way, I pick them way back obviously to go to the finals in my first bracket, ever and wh- which actually may be my last this may be my first and last all at the same time because I picked him to go, obviously all the way back, and it gets down to basically a horrible not one but two calls at least one was really bad towards the end of that game. And here's the other thing during this whole time. Auburn kept winning. I picked them to win. But during this whole time that they kept winning. I never ever watched any of the games didn't follow any of them. And I was telling resear- this on the air Friday either that Thursday Friday, and I I never actually followed any of the games. I didn't look on my score app. I didn't look at any of that stuff. And I started that. Kind of at the beginning because I picked them. And then they won the first game. I can't remember which one it was. But I thought oh, well, I'm just going to continue doing that. I'm not going to break that president. Maybe they will keep going, and I just didn't follow him. I didn't look I didn't have any updates setup. I didn't look at any of that stuff. I'm out the Columbus clippers game on Saturday night. And by the way, who do I look up and see walking by me. Eric resear-? It goes walking by literally in my section. So I'm like resear- what's up? So we talked a little bit will later on ends up. Texting me during the game and says all burn one there in Dimitrius Stanley. Also sends me a tax that says Auburn, and I'm like they won and research like yes, they're in. Then a couple of minutes later, text me goes away. No, they're not they actually lost. The and I'm like Stanley staring at it. I already told my wife, I'm like Auburn one. And she's like what they did. Great. And then she's like Auburn, you know, then he goes oh spoke too soon. They call the foul never mind Virginia one. That was the texts that he sent me. Oh, never mind Virginia one. And so I was like sitting there staring at the going is this some sort of sick joke that happened. And by the way before the game. Thank you Josh on Facebook for sending not Facebook. Did you Facebook that or did you sentence via tech? Yeah. You sent me a picture. You got here's to Auburn. And sent me your. Holding up Miller lite. I was appreciate that. I was I was all in I told everybody all my boys that you know, you're like cheer against Oliver. No, I've said this is what we're gonna do. And I said it's all good where we love where we're going to be, you know, I explained to them that you basically had never done a bracket. And once they got over that like would. Because guys e zero real, man. Oh, jeez. That you are. Indeed, a real man, you I said, no, I go. It says only what he's done I go where did you guys have Auburn? And they're like oh looking around. You know, like nice good. Thank you. Exactly. Where'd you have them so shot? So I said, that's when I said, you know, what I'm going to take this one I'm sending to my boy, Mark. And I said this Miller lights for you. And just kind of did a little toast. And I was I was equally as devastated, although I did get a really capture really cool moment. I was at I was at yogis on hardro, my my spot and talking to I saw this kid where in Virginia. Mm-hmm. You know jersey, and I'm like come on man, really Virginia. Find out he's from Virginia. And he him and his buddy he lost his real good buddy about couple of months ago. And his buddy was just like a die hard Virginia fan all things Virginia. And so I kind of like, wow, this is a real guy and we start. And so I took a video of him of him. Just like he's literally praying talking to his buddy as each free throws going in when they won, dude. He was just a mess, and I put it on Facebook. It was actually a really touching moment. So while I was in disbelief that Auburn guy hosed it was nice to see this kid kind of. You know, have this moment of like come on, man. We're gonna win this one. How is it? Sports and keeps getting it wrong. How's it the saints? Get screwed out of the you know, they should have been in the Super Bowl. How does she Etienne on every level of sport is just at an all time has anybody admitted that there was a double dribble there. Anyone admitted from officiating or anybody did anybody of any notoriety. Put it out there that they got Jose. They talked about they had gene scared tour an official on CBS coverage as they're doing the game coverage. You can see you can hear him. Like, just like. Yeah. This is that's clearly a double they missed it. And Jim Nance is kind of like, you know, we'll and he was like, well, you know, at the same time. It's a judgment calls. Like, I say shut up Nance stop trying to apologize. Yeah. Friends away. Yeah. Hello, friends friends. That's later in the week. Right masters later this week. But it was it was it was a disaster. I don't understand the outcomes of things like the Super Bowl and national championships are being screwed away by ficials I've bumbling dummies. That's what they are. It's terrible. What's going on? I something there needs to be an investigation there should be one. Because there's a lot of money. I guaranteed because by the way, you know, what the spread on that. That game was what it was Virginia, minus two. Oh, man. So think about that. Right. Over was going to win by two. And then the better. Although it did if that was a foul, but I'm sorry. I I know you had it started out. Great when we clenched jackets clinch Friday all yet. That was incredible ad when your boys suffer what they did on Saturday. Well, I have here my bracket my first ever bracket. Am I last bracket, I'm not doing anymore? That's it too much too much pain too much to handle it. I can't take it man. I do. They don't understand what the fact that that happened in the middle of like, you said an African about that I was riding high from the jackets clenching, which by the way research has to buy me a hot fudge sundae for that. Because we bet that. So the fact that they were clinching they clinched then Saturday, I'm like, Aw, it's my weekend, man. And then I get that Auburn text from Dimitrius that I get one from Eric who said that they won. I'm like, oh, yes. I'm like sweet that he's like. Oh, wait now. They didn't sorry. I got it. Wrong spoke to soon I'm like. You've got to be kidding me. Really? Then I start doing some investigating. And that's what happened. It was a roller coaster of emotion for Mark blazers. Yeah. So yeah, I'm not I don't know from ever going to may the sting will will be gone by next year. It will maybe promise you, maybe we'll talk you into another one this time next year. Yeah. Right. Just so everybody can make fun of me again. No. I mean that part I could actually deal with because he kind of was let's anybody had Virginia Texas Tech in the finals. No, I can't imagine anybody in this country had that. And if somebody did I need proof, and I'm not talking where it was doctored. Either we need some sort of proof because I didn't read anything about that. Obviously. There are no perfect brackets. But I would be curious to see anybody and those to those specific to for the bridal tonight. That's all I met. Yeah. For that coming up here in about fifteen minutes, or so it's it's a thousand bucks that could if you're one of the people that you bracket busted early this could help right. I mean, or even just you know, you didn't play out the way that you thought. So we'll have some spring green coming up for you. That'll be at three thirty your chance to win a thousand bucks. And we do this sixteen times a day. It's, you know, sixteen grand every weekday just just your. Your average run in the mail. We just give away sixteen thousand dollars every weekday. So that's coming up again that'll be at three thirty thousand bucks. This is a an Ohio law that I was scratching my head over in you, and I talked about early I thought it was already in law law, but clearly was a new state marriage law is prohibiting people under the age of seventeen for marrying, an Ohio. I already thought that was the case. I thought actually I thought that you you couldn't get married if you're under the age of eighteen, but well this now the minimum is eighteen for both parties but allows seventeen year olds by the way to marry if they're meeting certain requirements. This is this is like, I don't know. It's just a bizarre for me. It's bizarre looking at this. Because while I'm old. I'll just look up to say, However, I do have a daughter who's thirteen and I can't imagine something like this comes into play in the future. But did you already know that it was like this? Did you know that you couldn't get? I mean, you're under the age of seventeen you you couldn't get married and Ohio. Okay. I I knew that you like if I think was sixteen I thought it was sixteen. If you had like per parental permission. And like, you know, you'd already pre approved it the court, but I know that I didn't even realize that there was going to be a new change. Come until. I saw that today. It's like kind of slipped in under the radar right? That was one of those things for me too. So there's that. Yeah. The a previously to Josh's point females were allowed to marry at sixteen in males to marry at eighteen. But I I don't know. I'm just glad they're they're bringing that up to speak because that's actually the way that it could be did you get any? Did you get any lawn worker any outside worked on already got my first sunburn already? I burnt the top of my head over the weekend working out doing cutting stuff down, and, you know, burning stuff in the firepit, all the brush and stuff. I had to trim down all the Bush around all the out out around the house. So I don't know where you you. You were outside you golfed on Saturday. Did you have to use sunblock? I'd I'd I forgot about that do burn. No. Oh. How did I the top of my head's burn already because the top of the head is very sensitive. If you've got no hair there. Well, I guess this is this is tough. I got you know, my my arms and below the knees. I'm good, man. I'm gonna it's not till like July when you get that real kind of. Yeah. Hot baking sun. That's when that's when it gets me. But do it was just so nice. I could not have been a better day. If you drew it up Saturday, and it was beautiful perfect in every way, shape and form and sitting at the clippers game, we're in the sun at that point. You know, how you ever burnt like the top of your head. Well, you have to it's like your forehead. If you ever I could feel like my heartbeat. Like it was like pulsating at the top of my head. I go I can't believe it's Berdahl resolute. They make him. Ball caps for men were at a baseball game. Anyway, we've been perfect place to where a ball cap. Well, that's not where I got burnt. I got earlier in the day doing yard word. But yeah, I didn't realize I was Burt until yeah. So so you're sitting there and all of a sudden your skull starts waking. Often. What's going on here? My head's pulsating. Yeah. Just a slight breeze, and you're like, so I'm going to I'm going to briefly touch on this, and we may get into a little bit deeper deeper. But there's this thing that came out called the fair school funding plan, which by the way at the surface seems like anything, but but this is a they're saying, basically wealthy districts are gaining money in the it's a new Ohio school plan, and it's very confusing. But basically, I don't understand how if district, you know, schools are performing poorly that they deserve more funding. And that's the way that it should be in my eyes. But according to this is not fifty two districts with student poverty rates, by the way, at least sixty percent. They pick up an average funding increase of two hundred eighty bucks per pupil and the sixty one districts with poverty rates, which are less. It's.

"It is Mark laser along long way. Thanks for taking us along on your your commute home. This because I've actually been in a gondola type ride just made me. Pucker factor, alone breathing. This hit me there were six gondolas six gondolas, San Diego, SeaWorld bayside sky, ride that malfunction. This was last night sixteen people were stranded on this ride. This is definitely a nightmare of mine that I've had before they were suspended several these over water now like at cedar point, for instance, there those ones that go up in the air and go across the park all the way to the other side. And I've written those, you know, a lot, and I I can't help you can't help. But think about stuff like that when you're on those, and that's where my mind goes to when I see this but half of the stranded riders. They had been rescued by ten ten pm last night, and the they're continuing the rest as the rescue efforts continued to the temperatures were dropping, and I saw this and I go oh under fifty degrees. So I guess it started getting really cold for San Diego. I guess, but you know, those amusement park, those gondola things, and especially when you look at they're just basically like a, you know, like kind of steel pole with like the little thing over the like the steel rope. Or what looks like a rope at some sort of a I mean, imagine. And if you've ever been on one of those with somebody who thinks it's funny to somebody who's not really happy about being on one of those. They start bouncing. I've actually had I've been writing with people who start bouncing up, and they think it's funny when they start doing that I can't even begin to imagine the horror of these people that are stuck on there for hours with this. I don't know if you saw this. But the pictures are pretty shocking as well. But it's there at San Diego SeaWorld their base. It's the bayside sky ride. So, yeah, if you've ever been on one of those gondola typewriter, do you know, exactly.

"Back to the Mark laser show. Josh see said, Dave man, what a treat having Dave man in the studio with me for a couple of hours today to very cool. Thanks for having me fill in a little. I'm feeling a little weird today with I'll just say it. I have a advocate any stone. So things have been a little bit rough. So the the help the extra help is appreciated and your perspective to obviously is very cool. So I I like having a third perspective. Nobody can ever say that Mark blazer doesn't play hurt. You know, I only bring it up. So if people are like, what is he talking about? I just gave a little at least they go. Okay. I get it. Now, I get it. Now. Let's welcome in Lacey Lacey. Thank you for calling and what you got for us. Well, I just wanted to call in. I was at the March this year, I've been there a few years, and I was a shepherd and the local Catholic high school that went, and you know, we took over half of our student body on this trip and we regularly do that. And you know, this event is very useful. I would say of the Hoover half a million people there estimates that eighty to ninety percent are under the age of twenty. And I've never in all the years going ever seen any misbehavior by students by by the us. Now, there there counter protesters there who are very loud and noxious and vulgar. Just to give you an idea, but the kids don't react the kids just move on. And you know, for some kids have never seen that it's shocking. But I think it's important for them to know, why they March, and there is some, you know, there are some people who feel very strongly in the other direction, and it's good for them to kind of know what the NetApp against but as far as the school from covington's concerned, if you watch our faults all the first edited video of that clip was that I was appalled. But when I researched a little further, and I got to see all of the videos that I could find out there, and the whole thing a lot video of this. You know, there are there are some an African American group there maybe four or five guys who, you know, referring to homosexuals in very disparaging comments about him. And the kids were saying, no, no, you can't say that. That's not so big, you know, oh, that's bad. And you know, and they were like, you know, they're humans too. I remember that comment Aaron. Vividly, and it it just brings to mind that these kids are taught your learn at a young age backed up by science, you know, in the one that's a human. And it doesn't end with when they're born, you know, we should be respectful to those people at all ages. And and and those kids got that message, and you don't want that gentleman entered the group of juice kids were just having fun. They were biting time. You know, there's they're trying to get probably eight hundred buses in and out of Washington DC. They a lot of roads shut down. You know, we have had to wait two hours after the March for the best you get to an assigned spots. And we were told if we weren't all their best showed up we'd have to win probably hour and a half to two hours again. So I'm sure they're chaperones. We're trying to keep everybody in one place. I'd heard people criticizing the chaperones for not getting the kids out of there. Well, you know, they're just they're waiting for their bus. They're having fun. They're chanting. Your school chance kids are just. You know, they were just having a good time. They're just trying to pass the time any of these guys. At any point. Did you ever hear anybody chant build the wall? No never. I mean, you're the chats were there was a lot of things, you know, pro and con against our government for sale along the way. Now, our kids we don't buy stuff, they're it's cheap. And you know, she wants something we'll get some later somewhere else. And you know, had I as a chaperone had I seen the the way those adults for preying on those kids. I might have had them take the hats off. But you know, in the moment, and it really was just something that happened, it kind of just evolved. If you watch all the dibiase, and it wasn't like a whole group. It was just parts of groups and it didn't seem to threatening. It just seemed like their results, there were just being stupid opinion. Right. Where the kids were behaving lacy. We're up against it here. But very very interesting. Very cool..

"It is the Mark laser show. I'd like to. I'd like to welcome in. Well, let's start with this mount karnal health system has admitted that one of its ICU doctors gave excessive and fatal doses of pain medication to at least twenty seven near death patients and this happened between twenty fifteen and twenty eighteen the story is picking up national strength now. And let's welcome in Columbus attorney, Jerry, Leesburg. Jerry, welcome to the Mark blazer show. Thanks for coming on. And you're welcome. Thanks for having me. Okay. So who exactly let's start with this? Who are you representing in this case? Well, we've we've actually filed two lawsuits already and we've been contacted by at least twelve of the twenty-seven identified families by Mount Carmel. In addition to a couple of other families who have reason to believe there their family members may have been overdosed as well. But who were not contacted by Mount Carmel? So this twenty seven may be the tip of an iceberg. And we're just not sure how big the iceberg is yet about how long before we start. I is there kind of a timeframe in your head where you're going. Okay. We're we're pretty sure that X amount of number. That's actually, what is kind of linked to this guy or could it go on and on for years. Well, they by dentistry twenty seven and we suspect there's going to be several more than that. When one of the things that were going to be looking at us their audit process, and how they determine what charge to pool for what medical providers what doctors would pharmacists and see if we think they're audit procedure and protocol was sufficient to catch all of them. But you know, that would that's something. We would find out probably in the in the first three to four months ago, litigation. So if you could give us some background on what the lawsuits here are allegedly happened from two thousand fifteen too late last year involving Dr Houston and some of the others amount carbon. What are we what are we talking about? Well, you know, they've described them as twenty seven patients near death. But that's not necessarily being born out. By the fact, that we're seeing in the people that we've contacted or that have contacted us and we've had a chance to look at a review the records, for example, the second suit. There was actually filed involved gentleman who was just forty four who was in relatively good health. He had some hospitalizations for a condition of cellulitis, which is an inflammatory process of the lower leg, and certainly nothing that would have a grave prognosis. And then one day was short of breath. Call the squad was taken to the hospital and went within three hours later, he was dead in the ICU and received one thousand microgram injection of Fenton all a terminal dose. So there's nothing that we're seeing in our initial review those records that suggests his condition was was was terminal and so. We're not necessarily in agreement that all these are involving patients who are at ten end stage of life. So it's it's a bit tricky because obviously the system of checks and balances when prescribing administering medications from Dr two pharmacists, and nurses, who's actually most liable in this situation. Well, there's just the traditional controls that are are in place. You know, when you when they talk about NCW football program square. There's all kinds of recruiting violations and the sanctions against the university. And you know, the death penalty imposes is due to a lack of institutional controls there. Most certainly has to have been institutional controls in place for the ordering and prescribing it administering of medication, and if you've got more than one person collaborating to accomplish a lethal inappropriate, excessive dosage offend all by definition that implicates more than one person and most likely three at minimum that being the doctor who orders it the pharmacist who fills the order and the and the nurse who administers the drug. Yes, that's the thing. That's tricky. And puzzling about this that you have that many people that don't recognize the prescribed dose was clearly too much in a in a bunch of different situations. Well, I I would only beg to differ with you in your. Your suggestion that they did not recognize it was not an appropriate dose. I happen to believe from where I'm sitting. Given with the understanding that we're at the outset of this litigation. But from where I'm sitting I don't think this was inadvertent unintentional or accidental. They're the experts that we've talked to have confirmed our view, and we've handled many cases involving federal overdose in the past. But our expert confirmed that there is absolutely no medical justification, no therapeutic use for Mike about a thousand micrograms that the maximum dosage would typically be a hundred micrograms, even for palliative pain management, and and comfort care, and the typical dose of all is twelve to fifteen micrograms. So every one of the people that were administering this this dose at this level, clearly knew had reason to know, and it should have been flagged as a grossly excessive and inappropriate dose that was not justified. So it's my understanding that all these patients the families ordered to stop all quote life saving measures is that. That different from a do not resuscitate order. And is it your opinion that that, you know, this doctor acted maliciously then or he was negligent clearly. Well, you're talking about two different animals DNR is a do not resuscitate. And that's typically when a patient may be vulnerable to a cardiac arrest, for example, and and efforts are being made to treat the patient. But but a decision is made that if the patient deteriorates and has a code a cardiac arrest that there will not be an effort to resuscitate them from the code. That's a that's a DNR another variation of that is withdrawing life-support such as ventilation a patient. That's on a ventilator and providing them merely with comfort care to keep them comfortable until such time as they they pass away in the normal course of events, what we have here are people who have we believe may have been misinformed and miss advised that the prognosis for the patient was poor more poor than it than it actually was and in reliant found that agreed to heavy DNR or to withdraw life support. Or to provide only comfort measures when it was not appropriate to limit that care and then. Besides that point even even if you gave permission for a DNR for comfort measures only that is not a justification, nor is it legally legally permissible for them to give a terminal dose of federal. So it's my understanding also Dr Hugh, so he still has his medical license is that right? Well, sure, I mean, you know, everybody is, you know, innocent until proven guilty, and everybody's entitled to the presumption of innocence. And and for him to lose his license because it's the only happened recently. You know, there's going to have to be an administrative process through which you know, there's a hearing and before the medical disciplinary board. They'll have to make a decision whether or not the facts support, the conclusion of Mount Carmel, and what we're seeing that he acted not only negligently, but but grossly in-intentionally recklessly. And and if that's the case, and I can't imagine they'll allow him to keep his license. So it seems like Mount Carmel they're being cooperative during this. And it's hopefully isolated issue focusing on a handful of people is that accurate. Well, I guess best case scenario is, you know, and it's not a very good best case. But best case scenario. You would hope it's it's a it's a finite problem limited to a number of people that over a short period of time, and that it's been found in it, and they can radically the problem, and and prevent it from happening again, but that's twenty seven people later, and yes, Mount Carmel, I commend them for being a professional and responsible in taking accountability accountability. But the problem is again, they're they're conducting their investigation they're a business institution that is looking out after its own best interests as well as perhaps the patients, but the families are entitled to their own independent investigation, not colored by Mount Carmel is and so that's why the families are reaching out to us is to conduct our own investigation to see if what Mount Carmel is saying is corroborated is there. Anything clear cut. Crystal clear to you that should be done going forward to avoid this happening. Again. I know that you're. Always going to have people that that mess up like this. But is there anything that you could put that you think you could put into place that would avoid you could avoid this. We could avoid this in the future. Well. There. There is an entire body of science and study about patient safety. And and there are more than enough adequate safety protocols that have been designed and put in place and implemented, and that that are that are effective that could be relied relied upon to prevent this kind of thing from happening. Unfortunately, when you have more than one person, which appears to be the case, and it would require more than one person because there are redundancies and fail-safe, and and and and checks and balances to make sure that an inadvertent unintentional or accidental mistake isn't allowed to happen and is called out, and it's questioned, and it's challenged, and it's prevented, but when you have a number of people acting in concert all of those all of those safety protocols, and those checks and balances are overridden, for example. There are at least five redundancies in place to prevent a patient from receiving the wrong type of blood the wrong blood type because if they received around blood type it will kill them. And so there's there's multiple redundancies in place when a blood transfusion ordered, and it should be checked and approved by at least three or four different people to prevent any error from occurring and somebody catching an air someplace along the way and yet when people ignore those checks and balances or cut corners. It is still the case on occasion. Somebody ends up getting the wrong blood type and kills them. So nothing is perfect as long as human beings are are in place in our acting either either lackadaisically negligently, or in this particular case, it seems you know, recklessly or intentionally there are very few safeties protocols in place that will prevent a number of people working in concert to overcome those protocols attorney, Jerry Leesburg with Leesburg Valentine there on south third street here downtown thank you for your time. "Welcome back to the Mark laser show along with Josh sees. Gonna talk to Dr Pete standards here in a second. He is a gastroenterologist, and there's a Suadi Ponti article that actually came out is pretty interesting, and we'll talk to him about how you can straighten out your BM's. I've I've been doing it wrong for thirty seven years. You may have man, I don't know if you have any trouble with that. But if you if you are having trouble, and then this could also if you're not having trouble could help you not start having trouble. This is very pertinent information. I'll be listening closely. It is metallica's in the beer business is straight ahead. And you know, we just talked about it a second ago. You have to actually have talent. I thought I before a talent agency picks you up in the United talent agency announced that it has a new client. This was earlier today, and that would be Republican. And I love how they're still calling him a Republican John casick. He has a talent agent. Now, what in God's name is he doing with a talent agency? He's he is. To a Republican. What I am to a thin, man. He's saying in a release that is he's excited to keep his voice active across the world. Josh well, share his experiences and observations to help improve the lives of others. He can help your life improved. Josh he is excited to keep his voice active him, and maybe his family, and that's I don't know because between now and twenty twenty or we'll say, you know, to twenty nineteen and a half. Let's put it that way. He actually has to try to stay relevant. I know I'm so excited. We have a new guy. I'm so excited for governor. I can't wait for him to get things done. And do I just not to have to listen to my governor, bashed my president. Every other day, I'm excited. I mean congrats. I'm by the way. Congratulations to our new governor. Yes, for sure did you see he was swearing in on stack of nine bibles there were no nine because on at five. You go. I don't know that I'm buying that. He's putting his hand on five bibles but nine okay. Now, you're getting serious, dude. If if you're if you even hint at not being truthful with nine bibles, you will burst into flame. I think so.

"WTVN Magda, Mark laser show and Dmitry Stanley in the studio, Josh. So we're talking about if the IRS is saying that there may not be tax refunds issue during this partial government shutdown. They went their normal workforce is about eighty thousand they're down to about ninety nine hundred or so or about twelve and a half percent right now they're saying during the shutdown. That's the way that it's been reduced, and it could affect the actual tax refunds the question is would you be okay with waiting and now people are even saying they would donate their taxes. And that's actually where we're at. I've got an interesting tweet from David. He goes how about the entire tax return loan industry? Would this be a balloon or a bust for them? In other words, you know, the people that will they front your tax return. So is this going to help them, you know, people going, oh, I gotta wait. Now, I'm going to get a loan or would this hurt them? Because people are like, I don't know what I'm going to get it. I can't get money. I can't get a loan for that. Would would they continue to loan money knowing they don't know where you're going to get it back or would they charge a larger percent for that? David. That's really a good thought. Good train of thought. It's very very interesting. So Susan welcome to the show. Thank you for calling. I would stand with Trump all day long on that. I it this is what I consider. They're just trying to buy you out. I look at income taxes found money, and as long as my bills are being paid. You can keep that money. If you need to. Very interesting patriot. I would all day. All right. Thanks. Appreciate it. So if you pulled the lever for Trump if you're all about make America great again. Would you be one of the people that is like her you'd be willing to at least wait on your tax refund? I would not want to give up my tax refund. Though. No, I waiting right? But my point is some people are saying, they would just don't the our first caller. She said, she is eighty five hundred bucks. And she's like, I would give it for the wall years. Here's the way that I feel about it. I wouldn't give mine up, but I would be okay with waiting as Trump is standing his ground right now and via me because on the one I pulled the lever for him. Right. So I'm saying I'm backing him up going. Okay. Let's wait. Let's see what happens here. Right. But it could be a year before it could be. But if you are you have something you're fighting for and you pull the lever as you say for Trump. Yeah. You're supporting his stance, then you should be okay with it. Would you be okay with holding onto your why not do you get like a decent refund or no pay taxes? Hold on a second. Yeah. Go Trump's, Dan..
