Hispanic voters favored Democrats on most issues, The Washington Post polling analyst Emily guskin joined us earlier to explain the three most important issues for Hispanic voters. One of the most interesting things here was we asked people what their single most important issue in their vote for Congress would be this year. And among Hispanic Americans, 31% named rising prices, the second issue was abortion with 20% saying that in the third issue was gun violence with 10% of Hispanic Americans saying that that was their most important issue. The Hispanics don't vote as a monolith and there are lots of differences that abound and some of those are based in religiosity. So 63% of Catholic Hispanics said they'd vote for the Democrat, but 63 of evangelical Protestant Hispanics that they'd vote for the Republicans. We also saw a lot of differences among different ethnicities within Hispanic Americans. So Mexican Americans are largely supportive of democratic candidates, 66% of them. Puerto Ricans, 56% of them support the democratic candidate. But when you look at Cuban Americans, 57% of them support the Republican candidate. It also found the most important issue for Hispanic voters is inflation and bringing it down. They are split almost evenly on the question of which party would handle that best. I found out yesterday that there was a pharmacy in a blue state. Blue city in my doctor incorrectly called wrong pharmacy wound up in another part of the country. But i was intrigued by the pharmacist's refusal to fill my ivermectin prescription and we got into it. Big time you know and i remember not dot veterinary kind. This is for human consumption. There are studies that suggest that ivermectin can be effective. But it's been politicized by the left again. What does a pharmacist in a blue state and a blue city care about my doctor prescribing. Something like ivermectin. But she did and she wasn't going to do it. And she even told me her voicemail message. Oh you'll be there's very few pharmacies will prescribe. This and i said i'm really confused. Are you a doctor. i'm a doctor of pharmacy. I said you're you know me you know my body. You know what my she said. Why are you. Why are you taking ivermectin. You can't prosecute somebody after you given him immunity and i don't know why the trial judge didn't see that i mean it. It's clear as day to me now. They could still go after. Mr cosby on some other cases but i you know i just think that there was a political component to this the.
