"Welcome back to fast money. We've got an earnings alert on Salesforce shares moving higher after its latest report. The conference call is underway. Let's get to deirdre Bosa with the details, debo. Well, Melissa CRM upping revenue guidance for the first quarter and the full year, and that's helping to alleviate some worries about a pull forward of demand around its ecosystem. Cosio Mark benioff just began the call on a somber note addressing the conflict in Ukraine, and he noted his personal connection, his great grandfather. He says immigrated from Keith. He then went on to say that CRM had perhaps its best quarter in its history and that a significant number of employees are back in the office. Of course, the Salesforce tower here in downtown San Francisco. He also said that he believes COVID is behind us. Now leading up to the results, one of the key questions around Salesforce and some of its software peers over the last few months has been whether the spending environment can be sustained post pandemic. So there's better than expected results and that positive revenue guidance may suggest to investors that the digital transformation theme is alive and well and CRM a key beneficiary still though shares are down about 17% year to date underperforming the broader markets. We are seeing that pop though of nearly 4%, which could help alleviate that if it sticks. Lastly guys, you can catch Salesforce CEO Mark benioff co CEO, Mark Betty off on mad money with Jim Cramer tonight at 6 p.m. eastern, and as I came to you, Melissa, he was just handing it off to his co CEO Brent Taylor. All right, depot, thanks. Deandre rossa, Pete, you win this one? I'm not in this one, melon. For the reasons that I look at the PE, it seems like it's too high. I know it was way too high when I was over 300. It's pulled back to two 11. It was just trading at the levels where it is right now about two weeks ago or so. But the biggest problem I have is, okay, so they beat on the revenue and the earnings, which is great. And we all look forward to that. But that's off of the guidance from last quarter when they lowered. So I know that they're looking forward and they're talking about, you know, the guidance going forward, looking very impressive. I think that's great. But at 45 times 50 times earnings, I'm going to stay away from this one for now Mel. It's got to get a lot more earnings power behind it before I get interested in Salesforce again. Tim, do you think this is good news for the rest of the sector? Well, I think there's still some question about how much pull forward or how much essentially swapping out in an operating environment where companies could spend on software. It made sense to spend on it. And they had less overhead costs. I think there's still, hey, let's wait and see where they are. This is an improving operating margin story. They certainly raise operating margin 360 basis points on the guide. That's all great news. It was down 40% into this print. This is not something that we talk about the environment and the high multiple stocks. At 7 times kind of EV to sales and 30 times free cash flow as Pete said, I think the market is not ready to say the worst is over. And I think it's a case where you're getting a relief on this number. You're getting a bounce after a 40% downtick into the print. But I think we still don't know where demand is. All right. We've got another earnings alert here on SoFi shares are jumping.

"Traders digging into salesforce i had a earnings were laying out the trade when fast money returns miss a moment of vast. Catch us anytime on the go. Follow the fast money podcast. Welcome back pass money. We are taking a look ahead to salesforce earnings tomorrow after the bell. Mico joins us now with the setup in the options pits. Mike what you see yes so taking a look at salesforce we saw that calls alpes puts by about two to one on well above average vimy traded about one point six times the average daily call volume over fifty one thousand call contracts right now. The options market is implying that the stock could move about five point seven percent higher or lower by the end of the week. That's actually less than the stock has averaged over. The last eight reported quarters one of the traits that i was looking at that sort of demonstrates what some institutional traders might be doing to position themselves. Going into earnings was a one thousand lot that printed in september third weekly to seventy to eighty call spread. They spent two dollars and fifteen cents a contract for that about two hundred and fifty thousand dollars in premium total and making the bet that sales force could rise about five to eight percent by september. Third guy what do you make a sierra right now. Well as you recall. Then nathan called him one of the best looking charts and i gotta tell you something. I think. The two eighty four which was the high. This time last year is probably going to happen. Mike points out the implied move. I think it gets there. But i think once it gets there at fail so i like what mike is selling. I like what dan said. But i think both of them may submit. I might wind up being right on this sucker fan. Yeah well listen. It looked like it was about to break out of this rain. That's been underperform. Many of its peers here. We have this earnings event that less than six percent applied. Move if you wanna make a directional bat. Here you're actually risking about less than three percents. So if you think they're gonna beaten raise and they're going to talk about the integration of the slack. Deal and there's gonna be a lot of good things. Assess the suspect. Benny awful kramer and all that stuff. I mean a three percent at the money that to into this thing and makes a lot of sense to me. if you're bush on the name like salesforce i do. You know the the question we've been asking about other software companies in salesforce actually relatively cheap to peers is. What's the multiple. What's the market cycle. And there's been a time to own these stocks with both hands. It's had a decent run. Dan pointed out the risk reward. There I think you've got a case. Where on the integration. And the platform and essentially the enterprise effects of of the size of this two hundred billion dollars business and how they've been able to absorb all of these acquisitions. It's compelling on the margin and i think largely. They're going to continue to be a leader there. Yeah i'm brian. Kelly be interesting to see what they say about. Enterprise also in the conference call. Yeah i mean this goes into the whole thing of. There's going to be a hybrid workforce. We know that that's going to be a sustainable trend. I am not going to bet against mark betty off when it comes to this type of sustainable trend i also wanna see if how that slack integration. What they're saying about that. That could be a catalyst as well. So i you know. I liked this. Trade traded got the momentum. So i would stick with it all right. My co thank you for more options action. Be sure tune into the full show. That.

"They're I do feel the need just momentarily. To address this tweet. Jessica was like That's not a real tweet. It is a real tweet. I don't know if somebody is just joking, or if they knew how I'd respond because I address this. Right off the top of the show. When I said the Giants outfield is going to be at a deficit this week. We don't know when my kiss Trump's He's going to come back and Alex Dickerson may well go on paternity leave for the birth of his child wife his past 39 weeks. So that could happen at any moment. It might be happening right now for for all we know. So I said, right off the top. Just don't even bring up the idea that hands a playoff push. And Alex should maybe hire somebody to go help his wife have the baby. But every time this comes up in sports, I know I know there are plenty of you listening right now who do feel that way? And it's just amazing to me. I listen, I always on this show leave a big, huge wide opening. For all opinions, and for whatever you're feeling and thinking and to express it without being shouted down and hung up on that. So 1998 radio I have no interest in that. I want to hear you. You hear me? My gosh, I certainly get a chance to say what I'm thinking. So you do two, but they're very few opinions that will actually come across to me as a doubt of three. As offensive is that one the idea that athlete Is held to some different standard than anyone else that their job Because a the reasons you here will they make a lot of money. So do a lot of people. So do a lot of people. You think Mark Betty off. Would leave for a family emergency at Salesforce. Yeah, pretty sure he would make a lot of money makes a lot more than Alex Dickerson. Likea. But Nana has a lot more than Alex Dickerson. Okay like I so don't do the money thing. Don't do the but he's a teammate. He needs to be there for his teammates. And and and don't do the well if it were three weeks ago in the middle of the season, where we're just kind of plodding along, then yeah, but it's a playoff push. I have shared this opinion before people think I'm kidding or think I'm nuts. And I'm not kidding. And I don't think I'm not I can't really tell you what I would do if I was the quarterback of the team in the Super Bowl because I've never been that and never will be that. But I truly believe in my heart. That if Super Bowl Sunday came around, and I was the quarterback of the team those was about to take the field. And and my phone rang. And it was my wife and she said, My water just broke. I've had people say this to me, You know? What would you do? What would you do? I would run right over to the backup quarterback and say good luck. And it's bananas to me, but that that's not like a common thought. Can you imagine? Imagine what you're saying by saying an athlete should just blow off. The birth of a child. To be there for the game. No matter the importance of the game. No matter the importance of the game. Every business thinks what they're doing is important. They all think that I mean, on some level, all businesses are someone's livelihood. Imagine your job for a moment and whatever it is, just think about it. And if you're blessed to still have one in 2020, Just take a moment. Go. Thank you. Thank you. World That's awesome. Hey, And now think about your boss. I want you to picture your boss for second. Hey. And I want you to picture this conversation. You're at the office you find out That your wife is in labor or if you're a female if some other family emergency is happening, your husband or your child has been hurt and needs to go to the hospital. Can you imagine walking into the boss's office? Boss. Family emergency. Hospital involved. Got to go right now. How would you feel if the boss looked at you and said Now. Right now you have to go. Doesn't have to be right now to understand how offended you would be. Like, Just imagine that for a minute. That's what you're telling an athlete. How could you abandon your team? Are you kidding me? Come on, Come on. Do you really think that? I mean, it's I have the hardest time in processing it. It's really an odd an opinion to me. But every year this comes up and every year there are people who are like totally Totally should play the game and go get the baby later. Wife doesn't actually need you. Whoa! That is that like I can't even process it. It is the oddest opinion too. May we're all entitled to him. But I'm just letting you know where I stand. I can't even understand. We're like what planet that's from that. That one that one's different to make. It really is. Okay. So so that's one thing. Now here's another thing. And this probably won't happen. But it might Because I spent the top of the show talking about all the things that suddenly feel like they're stacking up against the Giants. Yazz is hurt, and maybe the outfield will be compromised. If Dickerson The house to go for a few days. That's absolutely a possibility. And ah, and the bullpen is getting stretched then and they've got 10 games over the next nine days, and six of them are gets elite teams between the the A's And the Padres and you look there around the National League, and some of the teams that you don't want to get hot are suddenly getting hot, right. The Phillies have a winning record, and the Reds have won six in a row. The Reds were supposed to be in the playoffs this year. Maybe they're finally found their stride. They've won six in a row to get back to 500. They are currently tied with the Giants for the last playoff spot in the Cardinals or hot. They've got themselves back at the 500 marker or maybe a game or so above So. It's going to be really hard really hard, and the Giants have six starters, but two or three of them are pitching very well and they probably need all of them in this final week. This is going to be really hard. But But Here's a glimmer of hope and something that I think Indirectly could show up for a game or two or three..

have passed the cost of walking out of a marriage had gone up I went home with Leo's check and made the pie I was in a trance well hello perhaps it was in a trance but it was as close to it trances all ever get I was speechless I said nothing nothing at all for several hours at eight mark and I took the pi two bodies it was just us meet mark Betty in Dimitri who that he lives with when we got to Daddy's mark and Dmitri went into the kitchen to boil the lobsters and Betty and I sat in the living room while he talked about the dance that she Intel ma and I were apparently giving apparently we were giving it at the sole grave club apparently the crap man had already been booked apparently all that was lacking was my guest list film and Betty had already drawn up stairs and apparently the Kissinger's were on Thelma's list just as I predicted I sat and listened and drank an entire bottle of white wine as bad he went on and on by the time I got to dinner I was tipsy we ate the lobsters I don't remember the conversation I do remember realizing that no one seems to be noticing that I hadn't said anything the entire evening and that no one seemed to mind I must try this again I thought I must try again some day to sit still and not say a word maybe when I'm dead after the lobsters I took the key lime pie out of the freezer and put the whipped cream on it and sat it in front of me I was going to give it five minutes to thaw slightly see recipe and that's when Betty turns to me and she said Rachel you tell me about Richard and Helen what about Richard and Helen said mark well they're getting a divorce said Betty I bumped into him this week in New York I always hated that woman said Marc lesser like Jr said Dimitri when did you meet her said Betty here said Dmitry Rachel mark brought them over one night no one else to talk to her so why did she wasn't so bad you are the only person on this earth who's ever found anything even halfway nice to say about her said Betty she left Richard for her secretary said Betty did you know this Rachel said mark I nodded I couldn't get over it I kept thinking about it on the shuttle on the way home how could you know someone that long how how long have they been together as long as Rachel and I have said mark exactly said Betty how could you be with someone that long to be married to them and not no all she has to have known said Dimitri I knew well he says he didn't know said Betty does someone know something like that well maybe it wasn't true when he first met her said Dimitri of course it was true said Betty don't just become a **** bang like that sure you do said Dmitriy it's like being allergic to strawberries eat strawberries all your life and then one day a day you get hives oh don't be ridiculous said Betty I was starting to get dizzy perhaps I ought to say something I thought either that or I'm going to fall into the pie perhaps I ought to say that it is possible perhaps I ought to say that you can love someone or want to love someone so much that you don't see anything at all if you decide to love him you decide to trust him you're in the marriage in the day to day in this of the marriage and you notice that things aren't what they were but it's a distant bells through a filter and then when something does turn out to be wrong it isn't that you knew all along you said you were somewhere else he must have been living in a dream said Betty she stood up to get the coffee cups marking Dimitri were discussing detente in a dream I suppose so and then the dream breaks into a million tiny pieces the dream dies which leaves you with a choice you can settle for reality or you can go off like a fool and dream another dream I looked across the table at March I still love you I thought I still look at that dopey face of yours with that silly striped beard and I think you were the handsomest man that I have ever known and I still find you interesting but someday I won't anymore and in the meantime I'm getting out I am no beauty I'm getting on in years and I have just about enough money to last me sixty days and I am terrified of being alone and I can't bear the idea of divorce but I would rather die Jan that is okay I would rather die than did you're figuring out how to get you to Love Me again I would rather die than spend five more minutes going through your drawers and wondering where you are and anticipating the next betrayal and worrying about whether my porn age body with its a Syrian scars will ever turn you on again I cannot stand feeling sorry for myself I cannot stand feeling like a victim I can't stand hoping against hope I can't stand sitting here with the all this rage turning to hurt and then two cheers and I can't stand not talking I looked at the pie sitting right there in front of me and suddenly began to throb they were talking about the state department now if I throw this pie at him I thought to myself he will never Love Me and it hit me with shimmering clarity that he doesn't Love Me that's all there was to it it it it didn't matter if he was crazy it didn't matter if I was innocent or guilty nothing mattered except that she didn't Love Me if I throw this hi at him he will never Love Me but he doesn't Love Me anyway so I can throw the pie if I want to I picked up the pie thank god for the linoleum floor and through it it landed mostly on the right side of mark's face but that was good enough the cream in the line feeling clung to his beard and his nose in his eyelashes in pieces of Christ's drops onto his blazer I started the last March started the last two I must say he handled it really well he laughed as if all this were part of a running joke that we'd forgotten to let Betty and Dimitri Anton he wiped himself off he stood up so did I he said I think it's time for us to go home I turned to Betty who was staring wide eyed at the two of us by the way I said I'm not coming to the dance and we went home.

"To do over again I would have made a different kind of pie hi I threw at mark made a horrific mass but a blueberry pie would have been even better since it would have permanently ruined his new blazer the one he bought with Selma but that he said bring a key lime pie so I did the key lime pie is very simple to make first you line a nine inch pie plate with the Graham cracker crusts beat six egg yolks add one Cup lime juice even bottled lime juice will do two fourteen ounce cans sweetened condensed milk and one tablespoon grated lime rind pour into the pie shell and freeze remove from freezer and spread with whipped cream let sit for five minutes before serving I realize now that I should have thrown the pie or at least done the thinking that led to the throwing of the pie several weeks earlier than I did but it's very hard to throw a pie in someone when you're pregnant because you feel so vulnerable also let's face it I wasn't ready to throw the pie I should add that the pipe was hardly the first thing that I thought about throwing it mark but every other time I wanted to throw something at him I couldn't bring myself to do it once for example right after I found out about him and Selma I had been seized by a violent impulse but the only thing I could see to throw at the time was assigned tonnage chair and I am far too bourgeois to throw aside just wanted anything and anyone sometime later especially while I was in the hospital I gave considerable thought to smashing marks head in with a very good frying pan that I had bought at the bridge kitchenware company but I always knew that I would never do anything of the sort and in any case smashing your husband's head in with a frying pan seems slightly too fraught with feminist content if you know what I mean well even now I wonder if I would have thrown the pie if we've been eating in Daddy's dining room probably not on the floor in Daddy's dining room is a beautiful oriental rug and I would have been far too concerned about staining it fortunately though we were eating in the kitchen and the kitchen has linoleum floor that is how booze while I am at the split second I picked up the pie to throw it at mark at the split second I was about to do the bravest albeit the most derivative thing that I've ever done in my life I thought to myself thank god the floors linoleum and can be wiped out on Saturday afternoon that he called I went out for a walk to buy the pie ingredients I took Sam with me we had a long talk about how Nathaniel would be coming home from the hospital on Monday and how much Sam was gonna love him and how he was going to feed him some delicious spiders and we bought food it means it was a beautiful day so we decided to walk down to the toy store on M. street and on the way we pass the jewelry store where mark had bought me the diamond ring and I remembered that I hadn't taken it in yet to have it fixed it was in a little envelope in my purse I could see Leo Rothman the owner sitting on a stool behind the counter Leo the dear white haired man who had marched with the Abraham Lincoln brigade in the thirties and been thrown out of the labor department in the forties was now a millionaire jeweller who bust only white people through his electronically operated door he buys me and gave me a big kiss when mark was courting meme when he was pursuing me with flowers and balloons and Jules Leo was the man that mark bought the jewels from and as a result Leo felt almost proprietary about our marriage he had outfitted the courtship the wedding the birth of the first child the first child silver spoon and she didn't seem to mind that except for the diamond ring none of the marks purchases had amounted to more than a few hundred dollars I told Leo about the robbery and he said it would just take a minute to reset the stone Sam and I waited while he got out his instruments and went to work we were making conversation should chat nothing much she said did I know the diamond in the ring was a perfect stone I said mark you told me that he said it wasn't the kind of diamond I'd ever have trouble selling if I ever wanted to she had told mark that he would be glad to buy it back for what market paid for and I said I was glad to hear that he asked me how I liked the necklace the necklace I said Leal looked up in the loop dropped from his I I must be thinking of another customer he said no no no you're not I said I knew my dad bought me something while I was in the hospital so he had bought her a necklace for her birthday I was lying in the hospital with a "Well, we are looking at a sigh of relief in markets today, after the US and Mexico reached some sort of agreement to stave off the tariffs, but is it enough to really give momentum to a more positive tone? Dave Wilson, Bloomberg stocks editor joining us here in our Bloomberg interactive brokers studios is what we're seeing right now in markets, a feeling that the tide has turned or just a breather for the time being arguably more breather. And you have to remember trade is one piece of a bigger puzzle today, because you've got dealmaking going on, not all that, so well received as turns out. But at least it's enough to kind of get things going, you know, you look at Raytheon and United Technologies is sort of the, the poster child in that regard and Raytheon shares of backed off some of their early gains, but they're still higher United Technologies on the other hand which was also up in the wake of this deal is now down eight tenths of a percent. So it's not a perfect scenario. That's the main, you've got this company, Tableau software. Thirty five percent response to Salesforce, agreeing to buy them. Now Salesforce it's gonna take a hit on earnings this year on the order thirteen percent. That's their forecast on earnings per share, and the stocks down more than four percent. Not unexpected, given that, that is often the response, you know, with deal. So you've got enough of that going on and some other positives in the background. You look at a company like Kraft Heinz, which finally caught up on a lot of it's financial filings after deal. With some internal issues related to procurement and that stocks up five point seven percent, can't come soon enough for investors into company. Notably warren. Buffett's. Berkshire hathaway. I mean even with today's game craft is down more than twenty nine percent for the year. But I mean there are enough of those little stories that you're seeing stocks do. Well, it's this is we talk about merger money. This certainly is one of those hearken back to last week. Mark Schaefer headed co head of global Manet at city, talking about how the trends year to date. We're running below last year. It had really been a pretty software fit year for Manet, but some of the deals were seeing today, I think, give breathes new life into the global global trade. Yeah. And it's especially true with this Tableau deal because they're involved with data analytics, and that's been sort of a big growth area, the last few years. So you look at companies like Tableau s- plunk is one of them always loved that name stocks. Up about seven and a half percent at the moment, and then there's this other company altering with a gain of more than eight percent. So clearly at least in that area, people are looking at this one deal and saying, there are others to follow, so you do have a plus in terms of, of that piece of technology here. Although in fairness, Mark, Betty, off CEO of Salesforce dot com is sort of a force into himself, when it comes to aquisitions remember that BusinessWeek story that was written about having how he bought sort of sculpture of something that could be an Tiki bar, but he paid a lot of money for it, because it was just sort of this impulsive decision, but it's sort of highlighted how he has he's gut responses to companies and goes in for the kill really quickly. So he executes much faster than others. So it's sort of interesting to see as he sort of build Salesforce dot com. That's how he has built it up until now and appears to be continuing to do. So now right. If you're going to compete with Salesforce, you have to think about do I need to respond. And, you know, if you're say or colour, SAP, or any of these companies really focusing on business software. You have to ask is that a step that they need to take because I mean, we've certainly seen, you know, deal making in that area of software over the years. So it's going to be something to watch and it's clear that there's a response in today's trading. It's interesting. It goes back to week sell Google make a for them. A small acquisition of a data analytics company to beef up their cloud business. So, I think we are, you know, within technology emanate really is one of the ways to either grow your business diversify your business get into faster growing areas. And I think for, for example, in the case of Google, it was, you know, they were a little bit there behind Amazon, the behind Microsoft, and one of the ways to kind of supercharge that businesses through Manet, so Salesforce, here I think, thinking some something similar, but the interesting thing is typically when we see announced fence that indicates. It's a confidence in the economy going forward. And the interesting thing that I think, is that while we are seeing a bit of a reversal tiny bit of reversal in the flight to quality, bonds trade that we saw last week. We're still seeing about two and a half rate cuts being priced into markets by the end of December. So people still definitely seeing some weakness in the US economy, and I do have to wonder how important the economic data that we're going to be getting out this week is particularly with respect to inflation. Dave well, no doubt it's going to be watched closely, just as the jobs for was on Friday. Then again. I mean when you talk about what's the motivation for doing deals, and a lot of cases, it's not so much confidence in the economy. It's concerned about where the economy's headed and how it may affect business plan. You know, a lot of cases companies are able to get together cut costs and that's how they're able to make the most of a market, that maybe isn't so great going forward, and they're certainly. Economic sort of reasons why that can be the case. And this is actually a really important point because with United Technologies and Raytheon. It's very much the case United Technologies making both commercial, as well as military engines, so they want to be able to diversify since the demand for the commercial airlines have been declining really an important point it could be actually girding for a potential downturn. One of the issues is, if you have a democratic administration coming next time does that mean slower growth or in defense spending? If so, do you want to position yourself now I know there's those kind of undercurrent as well. And then, of course, you've got President Trump tweeting, an discussing this morning on CNBC that he is a little concerned about the technologies and Raytheon deal. So perhaps people think it's going to have a bit more of a challenge getting through antitrust and no doubt any trust regulators, we'll take a close look at it anyway. He's just sort of highlighting the issues that are no doubt going to crop up as the deal moves forward, and they. Well, at least explain in part, why United Technologies down at the moment. Really interesting. Dave Wilson, Bloomberg stocks editor also important to note that the biggest buyer of these military craft is the United States government. So. On my way. In certainly, I guess. Absolutely. People have raised the question of costs most notably. President Trump of some of the military equipment right now. Let's head over twenty nine one studios in Washington DC. Nathan Hager there with world and national headlines. Nathan speaking of that CNBC interview, Lisa President Trump is threatening immediate tariffs on about three hundred billion dollars in Chinese imports. If president Xi Jinping doesn't meet him at the g twenty in Japan later this month this as the president Tout's his decision to suspend tariffs on Mexico rejecting the idea that the agreement on immigration was nothing new New York Times wrote a story, like I already made the deal it nonsense. We talked about it for months, and months and months, and they wouldn't get there. And we just said, hey, look, if you don't get there. We're just gonna have to charge you hundreds of billions of dollars in taxes, also in the conversation with CNBC the president hinted, again, there are parts of the deal with Mexico that haven't been made public yet. Yet. He said, Mexico agreed to large agricultural purchases. He has said that, but Mexican officials have said, that's not in the deal house. Democrats are opening a series of hearings this week on special counsel, Robert Muller's report. The I will be today in the judiciary committee with a focus on presidential obstruction. Democrat David Cicilline is on House Judiciary. He tells Fox News, Sunday, this is about holding the president accountable. There is some discussion about what's the best vehicle to do it is through our normal oversight proceedings or is it through the opening of an impeachment inquiry? That's really a process question. But what we really want the American people to know that the president United States directed individuals to create false documents to give to lie to investigate among those testifying today. Former Nixon White House counsel, John dean, he says he'll be talking about the similarities between the Muller probe. Some of you are saying what what are you guys talking about? Okay. So we have this the transit center. The Salesforce transit center downtown San Francisco is three block long beautiful building. And it's it's been rendered useless at this point in time because there are structural malfunctions. And it's all jacked up right down. They don't know. What to do it? "Who wanna go do that and bigger companies, but are put off by names like F P N A not that there's anything wrong with just to be clear. It's just we broadened the aperture of of what people thought the job would be. And then we made it that job for them ultimately. And you know, that was my first experience of creating something within a company where I got to put my own stamp on completely. But it all came from ego. And so you really have to learn to just who cares like long as you. I love what you're doing. And you're having the impact who cares what your title is or whatever. Because in the end in what I've found in any company. I particularly start up is there's always more work than people work will come to you. If you're great, and what was the turning point then to go from this really, what sounds like was an actually like legitimately great experience with Mark Betty off inside of Salesforce where you were given terrain to grow and to have power, but it was a relatively established company. Yeah. To go to something. That's really really young and new. Yeah. It was a hard choice because I also like, you should know about me when I hire always say, her smarts. I but loyalty second men experienced a distant third, and that loyalty piece is really important on market taking a chance on me. And I felt deeply loyal to him but square it's one of those things where my husband when the call came in. And he's like if you don't call them back. Call them back for you. Because you had this just unique moment in time. I know we're going to talk about next door. But it's I feel the same kind of excitement of a unique moment in time. It was a really good scale. So about a two hundred person company. It's actually next door is about the same size a little bit bigger right now. And it just felt, but you know, you have this lift to electronic payments going on in the world more use of mobile. I love the design the feel frankly talked to the first customer, and I was there's because the customer was so glowing about how not that you know, we had figured out how to accept credit cards for him. But how we had changed his life which talk about going back to community and wanting to make a difference in the world like at is a big moment when you hear that from a customer, and so you know, that and then just finally the people it's always for me people. I right if you work with great people, just great things happen. And how significant was it to get the C suite title because making that transition from senior vice president in the ranks of a large company where those titles are very. Difficult to come by versus going somewhere. That's younger. Sometimes means you get that title boost, even though you're also taking on potentially some really big challenges. Yeah. I mean, I don't know if I thought it was that important I wanted to be able to craft my own path. And so that does come with having a seat at the table. But I've definitely learned. And I think now I'm completely bought into the whole like titles. Don't matter. Like don't get fixated on the title..

"Clemson. Well that fake field goal stuff. Like that does not count as a turnover, obviously. But the effect is almost the same as in so three type plays like that tonight. Clemson has paid it off with the touchdown BT. Potter to kick off again Watson. Thirty five. The left. This is more of a line drive. The previous efforts bounces at the to try to return this one gosh Jacob something new numbers a good run back. He's across the twenty five and down just shy of the thirty. We'll even give the thirty yard line tackled by Chad. Smith. Well last year we saw a quarterback change Alabama the comeback win against Georgia. You can't imagine. He's to is the better passing by far. Now, you're in the situation where you gotta have probably lean even more heavily on the past some point. Yeah, you have to throw to get yourself back into football game. You've got to shore up some of the mistakes, you're making it so too is the right guy. Try to lead this comeback shotgun or running back on each Josh Jacobson dodgy barris, and it's a hand off to Harris running away weapon. Another good luck. Played good offense. It's hard to believe they have just sixteen points. Feels like they've gone up and down the field had the ball. Most tonight is we just dictated with a time of possession. That's the game to the forty one and another eleven yard gain and a first down. And if you would say that you would be outrushing Clemson in the ball game one hundred fifty seven to twenty-five you'd think you'd be winning the game rather handling, but that's not the case because of the mistakes, Alabama's Mullen the starting corner still not in the game. Mark Fields is out there. Of ten Bama told forty-one clapping his hands to it. Brought back the past roles over the metal and funds and territory. I down thirty six yard line. It's devante Smith that other grab and AJ Terrell may the tackle twenty four yards for Alabama. Great throw by two on this. When he's looking writing moves the safety with his eyes, and it comes back on time. And in rhythm for the beautiful throw to devante Smith. This fifth catch up the night. Henry rugs has been really quiet only one catch for minimal gains. Number eleven top of the screen, first and ten. I g Harris running to the right for nothing stopped behind the line of scrimmage by Preston Wilkins tantrum us up on a safety spot as well. Five even lost the yard on the play clock. Running seven oh five remaining in the third quarter. And it's all once and right now thirty seven to sixteen feels like a must score possession for Alabama. And eleven just outside the thirty six yard line of by Lois date back to pass plus to his lap, somebody praise on Iran. Josh jacobs. I down out of bounds far sideline at the twenty yard line fans blowing they thought there was a hold as till scrambled away from the rush. Beautiful throw on the run at a nice catch by Jacobs the ball a little bit behind them. Trae Lamar may the tackle on the far boundary. Beautiful throw to the back shoulder. The Josh Jacobs while on the move mean that is hard to do what to adjust it? First and ten twenty yard line far hash Mark the last for to tunnel by low applets from the right? He throws a gets a quick swam for a six yard gain, a Jalen waddled tackle again immediately by cable on Wallace with safety. They've been a lot of quick slaps tonight in the secondary is tackled. Well, Clemson to prevent run after the catch second and four six ten to go. Third quarter Alabama driving trailing thirty seven to sixteen. This national championship game. All equally distant from the hash marks Betty closer. The left wall snap fielded by zilla. He steps up to high off the hands of his intended receiver. Tannery rugs inside the five yard line. And he was opened that ball is thrown lower. Rugs catches it and walks into the end zone. Rugs has been pretty quiet. The game had an opportunity there to just not able to make the accurate thrown. Alabama converted first to third downs tonight one out of seven cents. Third down and four from the fifteen yard line. And now timeout. Bye. Let's check in down on the Clemson sideline. Here's Holly wrote the second time Trayvon Mullen has come out of this ball game. He continuing to have cramped in both of his lower legs right now, they are hurrying to try to get him back. Feeding him fluids stretching him using a roller bar on those calves right now. Mark failed a much shorter player in the in the game for him. He's done a good job so far, but he gives up about four inches to Trayvon Molin whose eventual longer reindeer guy crucial in this part of the field with to throwing like ES. And Terrell the two starting corners Volta what you're looking for and corner. Six one six two long arms and ranging field inexperienced backup. He's playing forty seven games. He's the son of Mark Fields pro bowler with the Carolina Panthers. I'm just surprised. It wasn't even five minutes into the second half. When Mullin was cramping. Yeah. The whole half to hydrate. Taking some not a warm night temperature now in the high fifties they were on the field porn extended stretch on that opening Alabama possession of this half. Which ended in the unsuccessful fake field goal. You look for now on this third down and four paraly-. Bama probably in four down territory trailing by twenty one points. Yeah. I think you definitely are in four down territory here. And I think that herbs Smith is a guy that maybe look to try to get a match up on. You don't have to hold the ball very long. It's third and short. Irv Smith working the middle of the field or crossing route might be the guy is looking for here on the skirt downplay. Squads? Huddled around their coaching staffs display of light sear. This proud. I'd say it's not a sellout. It is very close to seventy one thousand six days. A lot of people holding lights by the scene stands eliminated. And it turned out to be such a beautiful night. I mean for a couple of days here with really dreadful wondering behind work. You're wondering what it was gonna be like if it was that kind of weather for the game. But it was beautiful all day today and a spectacular night right now. The high fifties very little breeze. Matter of fact, the flags hang straight down now for as much rain as we had the field is covered. The last few days natural grass field looks terrific would seem very few signs of players slipping. So the teams back on the field. For this third down and four for Alabama with five fifty four to go in the third quarter and Clemson leading thirty one to sixteen Alabama not tipping near four Mason. They got a bunch of receivers around to now they're going to break out at the very last minute show their formation. The cornerstone of the sideline for Clemson begun to a condo by running back. Josh Jacob sort set rose to the weight. Jerry, Judy hollering at the nearest defensive along the far sideline coverage from AJ, Terrell. Now fourth down and four and the offense will stay out for Alabama. Thank Terrell got away with a little tug of the jersey. As Judy was trying to run the out route. But it still was not a great throw by talk. Next fourth down three out of four on fourth down tonight. But all the conversions before one the successful one filled. All. Four out of nine on four thousand for the year. And they don't get the fourth down very often. Tongo by low appalling for the snap. To his right back to path. Steps up against Iraq. Running and goes down about a yard short of I doubt, it appears needed the ten it looks like they're going to spot them closer to the eleven trae Lamar Tanner news there and Clemson has held. Mike can't indicates I down in the other direction and the Tigers take over on downs. Let's it came with a blitz. It was picked up by Josh Jacobs. Tantrum us with a big hit. If he doesn't hit him high and hard the way he did. There's a good chance to is able to fall forward for the first down. But tantrum us a big physical safety right at the end of that play with a huge at stopping short of the first down. Redshirt junior from Belmont, North Carolina. The safety got beat on a deep play in the first quarter along past Jerry, Judy. He may one of the big tackles right there. So alabama. Couple of opportunities in the third quarter and no points and scoring rings both times. I intend to me eleven Trevor Lawrence hands with Australia head Travis CTN stack up with the fifteen yard line by defensive Henrik Juan Davis linebacker, Anthony. Jennifer. Yeah. The clock runs. Five twenty five to go on the third quarter leading thirty seven to sixteen trying to win the third football national championship in school history. They want a nineteen eighty one hundred Danny Ford that Alabama graduate and they want to begin two years ago on a last second touchdown pass against Alabama in Tampa. Nice back shoulder. Throw on a good catch on the sidelines. Dre Overton right along the near sideline with an ice. Catch for a first down to the twenty seven yard one Lipson plays. So many receivers they all give him shots to make plays. And that was a perfect back shoulder throw by Trevor Lawrence to over wide receiver grow. That's just as fourteen debt to the year. Clemson's one only thirty six places thirty seven points. Handoff on first down out of the Gandhi is dumped for loss. Trying to go off the left side of Lawrence across him to the right and Anthony Jennings. The redshirt junior linebacker from Dade Bill Alabama made the tackle just graduated in the month of December. Here's second and thirteen for under four and a half to go third quarter. I liked it. Clemson is staying aggressive on offense the right here. Trevor Lawrence needs to be very smart. With the football Alabama. Again. Crowding the line of scrimmage the three down linemen, but several others close on either end direct snap Lawrence turns and throws quickly to the right incomplete. Far in front of Justin Ross who was hurling out toward the far sideline. Lawrence hats and cell on the helmet. Looking Ross say that's my fault. And he was open. I don't think it would have been for a first down. But it would have made this third down more manageable now thirteen to go and right now to true freshman corners on the field for Alabama Patrick's are tan on the right and Josh joke on the left. Miami played. A gesture kademi today didn't play a lot during the year six tactics. Third down thirteen Alabama cribbing closer in the middle. And they. Warrant section. All tracks by Justin Ross along the far sideline out of bounds in Alabama territory that the thirty eight yard line with one hand initially office right hand, they went up in the air, and he was able to haul it in before he went out of bounds. And it's that freshman you talked about Josh Joe beaten in the coverage. Dumps just six one Ross every bit of six four they throw up a fifty fifty ball. And what a playoff loss has had four catches one hundred and thirty five and a touchdown tonight after he had six for one forty eight and two touchdowns in the Cotton Bowl against Notre Dame all career highs. Thirty eight to go third quarter. Clemson Tommy, dating the moment. It's a run on first down out of the gun. Adam choice, the ball carrier and gets nothing Tigers leading thirty seven to sixteen Clemson beat Alabama for the national championship a few years ago. It was Sean Watson throwing for over four hundred yards right now. Trevor Lawrence with five minutes and forty seconds left in the third quarter sitting at three hundred and twenty four yards passing. Three weeks ago on the third quarter. Sorry. We on the clock running. We're down to three minutes to go through receivers decide lined up one behind the other to stack a short set by Lawrence. He throws the right behind the line of scrimmage the halls out after by Ross he might have been down to the thirty eight Alabama has we covered it. We're going to call it a fumble.
