"Could Not agree with you any less. Oh. No. This. is on purpose. Are. They really banking the steelers have gone on and on before training camp and saying how they're not relying on any rookies for this year they're not relying on any rookies for this year. So who are they going to hype them offense who you better look out for him Whether or not planning on US right away that way teams are worried about Chase Klay poll and not all the other guys they should be worried about S- now is it really that? No? I don't believe I don't believe that either I'm just trying to give a counter argument I. Think it's somewhere in the middle I think. You've either got to keep them a complete secret or you've got over hype him. There I liked it. They're gone one extreme or the other. So chances are he's probably the middle. I'm not getting my expectations to set on him for his sake I don't want people to Think, oh, he's a failure. We heard so much about him coming out of training camp. No I'm not. He's getting lots of opportunity because of some other receivers getting dinged up and everything he hasn't missed a play in practice at something rainy fieger said today he's just to play. So He's the one guy that's out there all the time and that's great and he's making place. We also heard stuff about James. Washington through the preseason for in his rookie year and we saw what happened in his rookie or so. I'm cautiously optimistic I guess at the best way to say. Go, Ahead Ryan I think this I think this begs a fifteen piece wing. Day. No. I would gladly take that hoping I would lose I would love to lose that. Bet You're not. I don't. I don't think it would be wrong I don't care about giving you wings last time I came your house I made my own wings and brought them. While the last game I said. This is what I'm saying I. Say we put the bet on it. I. Hope you're wrong too. I just don't think it's really a problem I? Don't think they do propaganda as much as we think they do I think they're excited about this guy I I talked about a guy, hide them the James Washington thing was a little different for me I think maybe the fact that they're justify if I give you a little credence, the fact that maybe they're justifying that number two pick like I mentioned in my first discussion but I really think that. that. They're going to play this guy. I really hope they do but I don't know that he's going to come out there and overshot over shine Juju. Johnson and all those guys because it's the way they're making it seem like that's what everyone's talking about that. He's going to be the guy I don't think he's going to be the guy, but I do think he's going to be. Important report piece he's a guy not. Yeah. Dave. Guy. A Guy. Days Grassy knoll theory there about the media. Bryant's taken all the good answers. One outcome. Well, you know the. Funny thing is to your credit dave, there has not been a lot of reports about Dante Johnson a he has been banged up. He's missed practice. We thought when he was healthy you just didn't hear a lot about and we've heard James Washington lost weight that he looks good. Haven't heard much about him their Juju Smith Schuster although he had two days off last week. He's been relatively quiet I. Think this offense does a lot in store and you can get little pieces you kind. Of feel like you know the the conspiracy theorist with the bulletin board any all these the yarn has just gone all over the place. I feel like the pieces are coming together between Hilliard Matt Canada their influence on the offense, the the versatility they're going to have, and I just think it's GonNa to be a but tyler asked this question since we're talking about Klay poll, he said how many touchdowns do you think for chase? Klay Pool. This year Brian we'll start with you six. Okay Dave. Five. I think four of them will be in the second half of the season. You're on seven. He's going to be a red zone nightmare for teams. He's just so big. He's so big, and if you put Iran on the field as well with Vance, if you do too tight ends in the red zone and gives you options to Ron, although the steelers will probably go empty said in which case, they won't have the opportunity to run It's GonNa be interesting to see how that goes few minutes before we take our first break in what else happened this week that navy? Struck your fancy Brian. So to speak in terms of anything to happen whether it's an injury whether it was news came out about a player anything at all. Well, we got we got cracked on. Monday with so many injuries and it seems like we had a few people coming back in today's practice. It seems like that has subsided a little bit doesn't seem like it's something. y'All overly. Too much of a problem, I don't really think that. But one thing I found really interesting was how much the steelers like Jay Rohn Elliott? Bring. So. How much the steelers like Mark Barron Today because that's. Predicted all along and they'd be coming back in of course bads wrong a lot and was wrong about the mark Barron thing. So I'm not sure Dave's GonNa answer here. But I'm GonNa give him an opportunity to answer. Good. Dave. I've been surprised for a long time that the steelers had didn't have Girona Elliott. In camp because he was a guy that last year would have been around more except he had no more practice squad eligibility. He is the kind of guy that they like he knows their system and now with the with the change in the practice squad rules with up to six veterans can be on the practice squad. I'm telling you that is going to be on the practice squad I actually said. A Senate off camera to my brother that wouldn't be surprised if he got signed to the practice squad, not even being in training camp by the steelers 'cause it always kind of liked him I. Think Keith Butler likes him and he'll come in and he he's a good guy to fill them in a pinch and he'd be a perfect guy for that veteran spot there but I also wanted to bring up. That today with coach Tom was being asked about, hey, you signed Ron Elliott. You'll let go of your other inside linebacker. You only got four you comfortable with them and he laughed. I'm covered with anything right now and he mentioned, and this will be in an article that had tomorrow that today Marcus Allen was playing linebacker. Did. You read the practice report on that I did not yet because I had a softball I did I had recorded a literally our training camp recap podcast, which is only on our audio platform. By the way makes you find as Aaron Listen the practice report was. Not good for Marcus Allen being the linebacker Mark Bernes I a he had been worked. Four straight reps against Benny Snell an open field tackle situation. Zero tackles. He got abused three times. They said, Benny Snell by the way looking good. To you on the train. Judas to you all but I'll tell you what I'm not saying the Marcus Allen can't do it. He and Camp Sutton to me Kim Sutton's already there. Marcus. Allen could be there in terms of versatility being able to play multiple positions. They need to find someone that can come down and fill that Mark Barron role because it's like I was talking with in I'll tease the show for let's ride Friday morning. If you haven't listened on audio, check it out, I didn't agree with Kevin Smith KT Smith or cliff Harris is still a punk from behind the curtain dot com and he said. My Gosh you don't WanNa have Devin Bush on the field as many synapses Mark Barron he's. He can't do that with their depth they gotta find someone and so this might be step number one we'll see but they have a couple of three you know ut threes great but man, they have no one else day they don't you know who you're. Playing with a club on his hand because he broke a finger, a hand or something let a club in alien four guys..

Didn't get that when this happened Mark Man's girlfriend I and any talked about on the podcasts us. I don't oil. Do the side with grieving can't believe me this Yeah so she died. She had a rare blood disorder and he said she thought she had threats strep throat. So think in the shoes at his house and she went to go the bathroom. It was like in the middle of the night. She fell down and they realized like she was in shock so he called the cops he said lasting that was at whatever midnight. Twelve forty five. They took her away and then he she she passed away at the hospital I gotta calm yet. It's tough So sorry about that. I didn't know that Let me see here. What will she and actress She's a writer director. Did some movies learn more shelter together? The big time writer. His podcast talked about it. And she was friends with his ex wife so he's always a little like envy about bring her on and then he brought her on and he said she was married at the time he had a girlfriend be said there was this weird instant connection between them like ride or right away like instant love using so strange and that she got divorced he separates girl they got together. "But it was it was. Let's see the steelers up twenty four to nothing going into the fourth quarter early in the fourth quarter. The chargers feel so those were they were too late touchdowns if I mean the last one I was. It was the least inside two minutes if not even last and it was almost one of those bend. But don't break. We don't mind if you score if it takes you a bunch of plays a bunch of rich. Do you recall anything from that game? Do you remember that was a Sunday night game before the by? Yeah when he would hate went out I thought Oh my gosh how are we gonNA stop them and like you said we? We didn't start giving up to a couple of couple is late scores At which point in time the game was pretty much decided so I didn't really let that stick in my head in any way just because of how the game it played out up until that point but it is interesting looking back seeing that. They didn't tear up near as bad on the wide receivers as they did on the tighter. It was much worse than your before in Pittsburgh but but I mean that the steelers had a lot going for in that game because that was the game you know Devon Bush early touchdown with the heads up play to pick up the ball and run into the end zone. Then on the next drive he gets an interception and sets them up on a very short field was was at that game with. I don't know I don't know if he did get an interception about is yet had to turn he forced to takeaways so they got a lot of good play there. Yeah so but I kind of chalked up to yeah because the steelers tax at a lead. And we're trying to protect it had so much on the defense that kind of kind of that one but anything else from the from giving up in the passing games surrending stuff. Too tight ends or running backs from last year. You WanNa highlight before we talk about what we need to do to fix it. Interestingly we gave up a ton of touchdowns two tight ends and a lot of those goal-line miscues but if you look at the yardage like if you go like with football outsiders stat they were third in the NFL in defending tight ends. You know by what they had done. Other teams The year before in two thousand eighteen steals thirty first and dvr tight ends and the year before that two thousand seventeen. They were number one and then they were the best. Nfl team defending against Titan to really went from the back to back up towards the top and they went from top bottom. That back up to top again and to me that really highlights why we signed Mark Baron because you had ryan easier coming into his prime coming into his own really stepping up in two thousand seventeen and we were one of the top teams. We were top ten defensive team until he went down and then the year after that. We're at Boston and Vince Williams. And we couldn't stop. Anytime they were they were they. Were just going right behind the tea type right behind the linebackers and killing us and this year we brought in barren patch came on board. When you add that combination of Mark Barron and make Fitzpatrick. Titans really couldn't do anything against teams couldn't get their tight ends going exactly now before we go too far. You talked about the. Could you just explain what that is real? Quick spill that way. Everyone knows we're talking about okay. It's defense adjusted value over average. And let's say it's it's initially an offensive says okay. How do you do com versus a defense compared to what they normally give up it? Just kind of normalized. Oh you're running back. Had A big game. But you know Miami. Lets everyone run all over them so it doesn't really matter? It's not like that big of a deal but if you have a big game against a team that's really stout against the run. That's a big deal when you flip it. It's basically the opposite so defending titles would be against most teams and then what did we allow? So you're wanting a positive number when you're looking at an offensive stat and negative number when you're looking at a defense that aware it. Just it takes into account the if I remember this correctly to try to explain it. You can tell me if this up. It's taking into account the the opponent you're playing at what they normally do against this. And just the league wide average of what you expect from thing. So I mean we've I've we've mentioned that stat out of Kit my roof. It's been on this show or not before but just wanted to make sure that everybody everybody under understood that. So the question is do the steelers. Have you keep mentioning Mark Barron? Yup and you know that the steelers moved on from Mark Barron. And it's so funny because people some people were really down on Mark Baron. And they're like Oh yeah. Some people love Mark Barron instead. You should keep him over Vince. Williams like we'll Mark Bernes not run for like like fence waves so that so my question is with without Mark Baron. What do you see for two thousand twenty two? It's how are we going to replace what he did? Because can you look you look at how we defended tight ends? What really stands out. Is the movie titans. When they got tight ends off the line. That's where Mark Barron really came into his own. 'cause you could you could take tight end. Line them up and we put a linebacker on him. And then you move them off the line and you're moving that linebacker out Williams. We're in trouble if that's if that's Devin Bush will now you fooled Devon Bush out of the middle you've got you've opened up all kinds of other stuff you've taken our playmaker out of his best spot if you will mark. Barron over there. That's a win for us because in the box. He's not that great you know in zone. He's not that great but you get him outside the box on a tight end in man defense that he was phenomenal. That was like Niche Skill. Set so teams would try to spread us out using their tight ends like that. Which I I love hearing a Kevin Smith come on and talk about doing that with Eric. Hebron like we had the exact piece to counter that in Mark Barron. So it's going to be interesting next year to see how we replaced. That role of win tight ends. Go out there and you do have to switch a cornerback onto him and and go with the size mismatch. Like what do you do for me? The big question is is Ulysses Gilbert the third ready to play like is he ready to go because in the pre season last year he got he got there were plays they put him on wide receivers like just like they did with like a Terrell Edmonds where they would play him on running backs tight ends or wide receivers they put Gilbert on wide receivers and he is just if he can handle the defense if he can learn the defense. Do all that stuff and be able to play in the NFL on defense. He might be that guy. We already have that answer in house but like with so many other things than young players. You're not exactly sure what you have like rich and I've talked about this before. Let's name some of them rich Do we really know what we have in to skipper okay? Do we really know what we have in over two third do we. You know some of these some of these players I mean. I don't know how much we really have in oriented on Ola. Almost twist something that one. Yeah so I mean we've seen him play more on defense than than the other guys. We still don't know exactly on offense. We don't know we've seen him start a couple games. We're not really sure what we have for. If we have to call on him we have other. We have other guys like that that I mean good thing they added Eric. Hebron 'cause we definitely don't know what we haven't Zach gentry you know so and it's not that these guys can do it and the steelers should know more than anybody if they can't or not. The question is how confident are they in their in their playmaking ability Do you think I everyone was pretty certain that the steelers going to release Mark Baron except -partment? Jeff wanted to argue with me about about that. He was saying Vance Donald was gone. They're going to keep mark Barron because he plays more snaps. I even have an article he wrote I had to. He was talking about everybody that we'd be letting go and I thought he forgot that mentioned Mark Barron. Yeah because But he he honestly believed that they weren't but I'm like if you look at his salary and what they were wanting to do especially drafting Devon Bush. It kind of made sense when they were in a crunch that that sorry had to go Would it be the worst idea in the world at the steelers? Brought him back at a much cheaper rate. Since he's still wasn't signed I honestly would be a fan of his weaknesses. Are there like they're legitimately there? He's not a he doesn't read the play well against rotten defense doesn't sometimes he will. He lives below play other times. You're like I don't know if he knows what's going on in their he's also weakened the red zone like those are the things you brought up as we gave up eight touchdowns two tight ends and yet we scored really well against them. If you look at yardage versus what was expected and that's mark Barron like in the red zone mark. Not good like he's given up touchdowns but he's not giving up yards. It would be good to bring him back in that kind of a role if we can't replace that role because otherwise you're looking at Terrell Edmund that that was my next question and that is because Mark Barron was originally a safety. You know that was kind of moved to linebacker. Do you see somebody. That's very similar in size. And and what branded the table someone like athletism other throw edmonds being more of that dime linebacker in those plays and the steelers really need to have another safety in order to fill in there and have them filled that role. You See. That's something. That is a possibility. I I don't like it for only one reason if he's like dime linebacker like actually your dime linebacker which could be more which is sometimes considered an extra safety but they play more box..

"San Mez then sent links just to her tweets to her bosses and according to an email she gave to the New York Times Post editor. Marty Baron emailed her and said Felicia a real lack of judgment to tweet. This please stop. You're hurting this institution by doing it. And then she got suspended while the post it said looked into into her tweets and the whole matter of news judgment. What did you make that whole situation in the way it played out there? I mean there's I I I just have a hard time getting past Marty Baron. Sending that email The Washington Post suspending her. I mean I assume that action the sort of those two actions or or the same action. I'm not sure what any I mean does none of them. None of it is right. None of that makes any sense it. It's just how you can be in Mark Bernes position not not see that what you're doing is just sort of like. Ah Ah Worse version of what you're accusing the other person of doing of like acting impulsively or whatever I mean obviously wasn't tweeting and these two thing and she was not in fact acting imposing supposedly. But that's what he perceived It's just it's just wild and by the way I mean just. We don't need to dwell on the details but the merits of of the of the case. That the idea that she was being penalized because it was outside of her the area of coverage or whatever. That's just nonsense. I mean that's like the opposite of the truth right. I mean it should be much less us significant that like you know. I hear that like if a culture podcast through the ringer tweeted out something about that. It would have much less significance than if like Kevin O'Connor debt right. I mean it doesn't it doesn't line up and you're just grasping at straws now for for excuses the rationales for this deeply disturbing thing that you did by the way. She's like checked. Act into a hotel because of the twitter responses ever worried for her safety in your responses to suspend her. I mean just like Even if she had done something that was actionable or something because she'd been warned against in the past or something like that like that's not how you deal with that in real time right then and I don't know I mean I dunno I this is certainly like it's just. It's just sort of everything about where we are in the media age right now that like the most outrageous thing is like three degrees separated from national tragedy that we're trying to wrestle with but it's it's just it's just a despicable thing for a paper with the that's so concerned with carrying its mantle of democracy dies in darkness. Thanks Chris I mean just for the for the verse for a newspaper in that position that it's in right now in so many ways to be acting so idiotically and listened to be at probably to be acting in response to you. Just th the impulses of some of the worst actors on the Internet Is just sad you know. It's just sad to see and to make things worse. The Post Union News Guild released a statement that said this. This is not the first time that the post is sought to control how FELICIA speaks on matters of sexual. The violence Felicia is a survivor of assault. Who Bravely came forward with her story two years ago? And they're telling your you can't tweet that about Kobe. Bryant tweeting by the way linking dispassionately to a new story didn't add any commentary to it.

"This guy is not very good at football. One guy if you're in a deeper leak and you don't mind messing with dolphins and as we said it on the podcast here Ryan Fitzpatrick kind of elevated them to a level of competency that they didn't have which Rosen. How about young? UDF A running back. Patrick trick layered from cal. He had just one carry for seven yards but he caught six passes for fifty one. If I were the dolphins I get Patrick. Layered and some more snaps those of you and your dying for a number three running back. Give Patrick glared. Look on the waiver. Wire he is owned in a crisp zero percent of Yahoo Who Leagues So? There is a virtual guarantee. He's out there for you if you WANNA running back to take a shot on because Ross it is not happening Kaelin Balaj and so you can't just blame it on the offense because I said Ryan Fitzpatrick threw for over three hundred yards last week. He's been moving the ball all right. It's Kaelin Balaj. That is the problem. Not necessarily the dolphins offense. I would like to see them. Get Patrick layered some more touches. Wow Okay what about at tight end and receiver for the dolphins. Well Devante Parker has proven me wrong for the first time in six seasons. He's actually having a solid fantasy year. You can play him each and every week as number three number two fantasy wide receiver. He's been remarkably consistent. He has put up over ten fantasy points in A. PP are in every game since we number four so he has been really consistent getting it done as a nice solid number three wide receiver. A tight end is a low end guy. Maybe a top sixteen guy and I'm not necessarily excited about streaming fitzpatrick either. But the two guys who. I'm really interested in looking at this week and once again it is a gamble but looking at Patrick layered art and looking at devante Parker against this browns. I think those guys should be the focal point of the dolphins offense on the other side. The browns they got off to a hot start against the steelers last Thursday night. Kinda cool but they got the win. I really don't know how they'll react after the whole myles Garrett thing I don't know oh either it's bizarre and especially now since they're in the they're kind of in the hunt now after reeling off a couple of straight wins and like you said Baker Mayfield Kinda started off hot In in that game then cooled off for the first time in god-knows-how-long Odell Beckham has a good good matchup. Look listen to last four games for Odell Beckham. New England and Stefan Gilmore. They had Denver and Chris Harris Buffalo introduce white light. Pittsburgh with Joe Haden and Minkah. Fitzpatrick goes over the last four games for Odell Beckham. I think Odell Beckham goes off this week. I am playing him for DSS and I. I don't think I've played Odell Beckham for. DFS's like week to this is. This is the week they want him to get going. And I actually think I like like Baker Mayfield this week for the first time in a long time. He has not thrown an interception. Since Week. Number eight he's thrown back to back to touchdown. Pass Games against two tough defenses defenses in buffalo and Pittsburgh I actually think this offense is showing signs of life maybe Kareem Hunt which I had no confidence they would incorporate nicely into this offense. He's actually giving them a little bit of a boost. They kind of used them as a slot receiver using him in conjunction with Nick Job on the field. The office just looks a little bit different to me the last couple of weeks. I think this is a huge week for for Odell Beckham. I think Baker Mayfield's a good streaming quarterback option. I think he's a good. DFS option. I I will be loading up with Odell Beckham Junior this week and I might stack them with Baker Mayfield. Okay all right. What about the continued running back moves us with hunt and Chubb sure Kareem Hunt is getting? He got eight targets last week I think he had eight targets the week before so he is getting thrown the ball. Plenty he is on the P. P. R. Flex writer as a matter of fact nine targets in his first game back against buffalo so we have seventeen targets in two games he is on the PR flex radar. That's James White level usage and we know jeans white is just a rock-solid. Pr Back the good news is it. Hasn't cut into Nick chubs role because trump played seventy two percents of the snaps and at twenty seven carries against the steelers. The problem is it's limiting upside in the passing game game. Yeah just one target but Chubb is a running back one with the projected positive game blood flow there double digit favorites against Miami Kareem Hunt. I like him as a flex. EXPLAI- Odell Beckham Jarvis Landry. I liked them both and one guy to keep an eye on. If you're hunting for a tight end you this is going to become a theme on the podcast we already we talked about it with Noah Fan Boston Knox but if you're hunting for a tight end down the stretch. David enjoyed who was eligible to come off of. I are designated to return this week and it looks like he's going to be ready to play so I don't necessarily think I'd plug them into my lineup. But he somebody. If you've been really struggling at tight end maybe pick him up. Stash them on your bench and see what happens. What about Stephen Carlson? What do you know about the touchdown that you like that? I was thinking of you. Ross when I saw him get get in the end how `bout how `bout I catch of his life is taking the ball off Mark Bernes back for a very critical touchdown catch He'll remember that especially if the browns make a push to the playoffs L.. He'll remember it anyway. For that there was a there was two guys. I think who had touchdowns on their first. NFL touches In that In that week eleven even Carlson. I think Qadri Allison. From the Falcons also had touchdown on his first touch so not not necessarily fantasy relevant but I did smile when I saw Carl get the end zone because we talked about it last week. Okay next game buck nears and the James Coaster against the Atlanta Falcons and the best defense in the NFL ears over here. I mean literally. They literally went from being the worst defense in the NFL to the best defense in the NFL and they've done it two consecutive weeks. Well I mean drew brees two weeks ago and then they really really got to Kyle Allen last week and we'll talk about that a little bit later on in the podcast but look Yahu leaks. The Falcons defense owned in just two percent of leagues. They are going to be the popular pickup. And the thing we love about James Winston for fantasy this is what I love about him for. DFS Too two you can consider stacking Jameson his receivers and still use a defense against him. Because he's the type of guy who can throw for three fifty and three touchdowns and and throw to pick six's so I I love James for fantasy because he's very giving to the fantasy defenses and he still doesn't necessarily hurt the receivers. Although although Mike Evans did not have a strong game last week that being said I do think this is a good week for the buccaneer. Receivers the Falcons are actually favored at home in this game. And I'll be completely honest. I am so Freakin glad. I don't have Ronald Jones anywhere. This guy is driving everybody buddy. Nuts He has the breakout game two weeks ago and then he comes out against the saints and gets four carries and four targets on thirty one percent of the snacks. A gun. BELOIT is still there. Hurry up back when they are playing from behind and they are projected to play from behind in this game. Dario Gumbo Wa is. They're back he is the most trusted back in pass protection protection so Ronald Jones is just not getting it done on a consistent basis. You're essentially throwing a dart. If you're playing Ron Johnson. Fancy right now yeah I mean what else needs to be say about the bucks. It's kind of crazy. I mean Dame is probably lean people losing people weeks turn overs. Yeah and I'll tell you the tight it ends up driving me nuts. OJ Howard Bay. One James says interceptions. Last week was to Howard's fall. It basically went off. Its hands you like dribbled into the air. And they're going to they bench not not Howard after that Cameron Bright Seventy five percents of the snaps in fourteen targets. Hey Cameron break three weeks ago when OJ Howard's injured everybody in the the world is playing you for fantasy because OJ. Howard wasn't playing? He does nothing. OJ Howard has his best game of the year which isn't saying much against the cardinals two weeks ago so everybody ooh back on Oj. Howard camera break? It's fourteen targets against the saints. This team is super frustrating. The only two guys I actually trust our Evans is in Godwin though for dynasty purposes. I'm pretty intrigued by the Scotty Miller the receiver from Bowling Green. You can really run. ooh interesting The other side snaps last week. Yeah what about the Falcons offensively. While Brian Hill the Brian Hill Chalk did not come through for. It was a really bad game for him. A fifteen carries for thirty yards three targets conscious. One of them for eight yards really bad game for him. I don't know what else to say. We'll I'll see about devante Freeman who Jones. He's not been in any way a bust like you would consider David Johnson's been a fantasy bust. Just Julio Jones has not been a bust but is he winning people fantasy leagues. And when you take a guy at the first one to turn you expect. Backed him to win you fantasy games fantasy weeks and Ross. He hasn't gone over He's gone over twenty fantasy points in a PR just just once in his last eight games and and look maybe that's holding them to a super high standard but that's what he was drafted to do He's gone under ten fantasy points in into games this year. He's catching balls consistently every week. But once again we've got the touchdown problem. He hasn't scored since week three. You're playing him this week. I liked like them for. DSS But he's been a really frustrating fantasy player this season. Yeah I can see that. What else on the Falcons running back I mean I mean they're Kinda they're kinda messed from fantasy standpoint other than receiver? What about hooper in the running backs well you have to see if Hooper's back he had the MC l. l. last week obviously there? He's been the most consistent player for fantasy all year. He didn't play. They actually used a Jaden Graham as their top tight end. Last week he caught two passes for twenty three yards a Calvin Ridley. I think this is another good week for him. The buccaneer secondary's not very good. I do other haunts. This is a good Julio Week though I know I just went on that Spiel but I do have a hunch. This is a good holy week Brian Hill. He's a flex obviously did not come through for you last week and that buck run. Defense has been good all year. Let's get to the panthers and the Saints Panthers not not the finest moment for Kyle Allen. That's for sure. Now they gotta go down to New Orleans where that Saints Defense Bounced back and terrorized. One Jaimes Winston we know about McCaffrey. What are your thoughts on the panthers guys? Well how about this. Dj More has ten or more targets in four of his last five games uh-huh he's had at least eight targets in six consecutive games so this is his last three games in order seven for one. Oh one on ten targets targets nine for one twenty on eleven targets eight for ninety five on fifteen targets even with Kyle Allen playing the game of his life yet eight for ninety five on fifteen targets.

"I haven't thought a lot about yet in terms of like how he would fit. It would be more. He's he's much more of a jail mcgee tight player right here uh where he's going to be limited to those to those aspects so you gotta think if there is there. Is there another player out there that we aren't thinking of this is what rob lincoln stafford's doing. They're going to go through. They're going to do due diligence. They're gonna look at all these spots more. I do believe it's got to be a center just because anthony davis has been very clear with that. I'm just have he will play into five hopefully only some five but yes he prefers the form so you gotta have another guy in the roster aside from bill mcgee that can take some of that powder. Oh yeah i mean even even if anthony davis was completely lately open-minded about playing the five which let's be clear he's not. Let's just say he totally was. You still just need another bottle like you need more size like the lakers are actually now a team that is lacking incised that way like they have two viable center options one of who doesn't wanna play it right so they just need more assize regardless. It'll be interesting because whoever this player that's gonna come in right. It's going to be on a minimum contract so it's it's also something that they can address as the season goes on and whether that's another team has big that's available. The lakers happened to like that could swap for something. Maybe they developed somebody in the g. League system which they've been really good at alex caruso oh now has made the full roster coming out of the south bay lakers joey bus and nikola. They're great job with that group. There's a couple of guys that they signed from summer league to those exhibit ten type type contracts right a couple of guys that could potentially fill in minutes so that's the other thing to keep in mind the market that's out there right now and we could name the four five guys for reads and the howards the core port-a-pots or i guess <hes> amir johnson right you can come up with some of those names nee. I think there will be guys that emerge early in the n._b._a. Season that either either are not getting playing time on a roster or are coming up in the g. league and that's the kind of thing you can do to replace a player as well and that's one of the things that training campus for two and it doesn't you don't wanna rush to do it now. I mean this is hardly see what it looks like is rated getting off the free agent market by and large are going to be available in training camp. I would think they're available for reason and you shifted off dwight howard and the lakers the rams played in hawaii over the weekend against the cowboys and preseason games aims of particularly for the rams are they're supposed to be pretty inconsequential because they're not playing anybody <hes> by and large who matters but i'm not very inconsequential that really what they are. They're just an opportunity gouge fans. I mean they're they're. They're a really cynical money. I called it. Actually it's an open tryout for about about twenty five to thirty guys because the other you know the close to about thirty. Five guys have already got us roster spot already so i just called this a try out for some complainers. Yeah rams held tryouts in hawaii this weekend yeah and unfortunately for mike a kaiser a linebacker. He had a peck injury leave. The game turns out. He's going to need surgery urging. He's out indefinitely and there had been some hope that mike kaiser could end up stepping into mark bernes role <hes> last year starting inside linebackers now with the steelers correct correct and maybe could end up this year's cory littleton because last year cory littleton went from undrafted free agent to pro bowler and he had stepped in for alec ogle tree when that became available so on the surface kaiser being out and definitely seemed like a big deal to me but kirk..

"I don't really think i do <hes> but that doesn't mean anything what is happening. Actually there has been an important development on the rams defense yet mike accuser the the projected starting inside linebacker tore his pectoral muscle. That's gotta hurt right. I would think yeah. I think from what i think it was whitney. Whitney mercilus had one and he was out for six months or more and there's another guy that just had one that was on defense. I can't remember his name. Oh dante high tower from the patriots torres pack in two thousand seventeen miss. It's the rest of the year so <hes> you'd have to say that. Injury is going to keep him out for pretty my while two thousand nineteen and he's one of those he's sort of the equivalent last year of like cory littleton like a guy didn't necessarily expect or didn't really drag it out. They drafted him for depth. <hes> he was on special teams played really well there and this was his first opportunity to actually lisa step into that because mark baron moved on to pittsburgh so expected to start now that he's out bryce hager steps in you know a guy that's been in the league for five years and i can't can't remember i think he may have started one or two games after look that up by special teams guys been adept guy is his entire career so hasn't been a frontline guy <hes> so he's he's going to be your starter as of right now or at least he's out in front. Does that change of like do you start looking at who gets waved at the camps and stuff like that mason recent fosters name had come up. He was released out of washington. He's a tough guy inside linebacker. That name has come up but i think they have guys on the roster that they'd like to give a look to. I yeah dakota. Allen is a guy they like he was you drafted him. Just draft him. I thought he was the best player on the field in hawaii for the rams defense especially especially in the fourth quarter a lot of big hits their guy named the trez patrick who played at georgia had some problems there went undrafted should have been drafted but the off the field stuff kind of knocked him down the draft board. He's a tough physical guy that can play inside outside so there might be some candidates that are already on the roster that they're gonna look to. I what when your fifth year guy hi and you know obviously good enough staying league special teams and all that kind of stuff but never really good enough to do the other things you might play get a couple of reps during the game in the regular defense or whatever whatever how often is that because you're just not quite good enough to be a defensive player and how much of it is that you just never got the opportunity -tunities always somebody in front of you is certain guys just aren't quite good enough. They're good enough well. You're in the middle like mark baron. They made the trade and they moved into linebacker. It didn't matter you. It didn't matter how you were going to play as soon as he was healthier ready to play. Mark bernes going back. Cory littleton is a guy that you competed with and beat you out. I think that happens more often but we're not to where you're in the mix for the job and you get beat out by another guy but if you're never but if you're never good enough to step into a starting role yeah it means you have to be really good on specialty specialties which i'm sure he is but that means that would say.

"<hes> instead of falling off the face of the earth with the <hes> <hes> louis delmas now that's the last guy that i remember like right on the fringe there too that would just come in and blew up <hes> but after to that it was that's just not the way it goes more kind of funny with with bama safeties though that all the guys who like the the highly coveted highly trumped up dude's not all of them panned out and i mean right now you make the case that the the hottest playing in bama safety on the planner knows that he jackson for the barriers and i mean i was outside of the fact that he had that injury and whatnot i mean who who really saw that coming alter talented guy but you think about a lot of these safeties mark baron you mentioned <hes> shanklin dicks was one who is <hes> highly trumped up to and i mean his head had a good career at the packers he's in <hes> and then we're turned with washington now. He's in chicago but but let me jackson is in eddie jackson if not forgetting hurt. My opinion was a top three defensive player of the year candidate last year in imagine. He's probably going to pick up where we left off yeah. No i think he's he's one of the top guys at this point <hes> but yeah it's interesting the bama safety <unk> bama safeties have transitioned from the type of guys that they used to go after <hes> the last one that was even close to you know five five six years ago of traditional bama safeties was ronnie harrison that ended up in jacksonville who's playing pretty well down there but even that he still has some positional flexibility compared to the the old guard there yeah because i mean he essentially identifies as a strong safety but and at the same time as you mentioned now that it's not good enough to just bring a dude in because that's the mark barron thing strong safety and then all of a sudden. It's like oh look. He's playing linebacker now. Which surprised is me when i saw that at the time thing like what mark bernes blamed safety and then i thought about toy <unk> yeah i mean you wanna really interesting safety slash linebacker hybrid. Gotta keep an eye on this year. Who's a guy i think if he plays as well as he did lash clean. Some things up could be a weird first-round pick. Pick is isaiah simmons for clemson. He's a dude. That's i think he's six three six four to twenty. <hes> dude runs like zell like there are our reps of him playing from the nickel where he's in like pressman and blows dudes up on the line and do that he doesn't blow by the line fine. He runs with them crazy crazy athlete for his size. The conversation we had about bama safeties you can essentially have <hes> regarding up until recently clemson pass rushers do it you know and it seems like they're guys have finally started to really hit the n._f._l. Level but remember in years past were dolphins. Fans were clamoring for guys like a shack lawson and kevin dodd especially after that championship game they had worked. I mean get let's face. A kevin died absolutely feasted on some of the worst. Were right tackle play. I think i've ever seen and i i mean to me. Hey you got a you. Take your you take what you're given what you're presented with and he absolutely just rolled the net game and then <hes> <hes> for a while there they were just putting out. I know a gaines adams with the signature. In angular pass rusher the guys that put <hes> put on obviously he pass away very early on it was a tragic situation so we couldn't really see i mean he'd been traded to chicago by that point after i think he went forth in the two two thousand seven draft if i recall correctly he went up already. I yeah remember guys. Isa put out like ricky sapp that dude. I mean they're they're guys for. The longest longest stretch were andre branch. They were six three to sixty ad like they just got it done and that's how they were built then they you get a vic beasley dropped in their <hes> the big one..

"That. He's the right kind of scrappy guy that you want to have a nickel or make. It just gives you more hundred percent what you're saying there. There's just a lot of upside in mingka's a fabulous example of the n._f._l. Wants right now in its secondary those fill in the blank type players. You know whereas like whatever you need. That guy can give you need. Tackling mingka's got it. You need speed on the back end mingka's. He's got it. You need <hes> advanced reaction skills and a guy reza game at a very high level patrick so i i mean not a lot of holes in his game outside of. I guess you'd say size. <hes> the speed is is very good in my opinion because i mean he's a four for a guy in with his ability to read and react. I mean he plays fast but i mean he's the kind of guy that you think thing about a player with his skill set at that position. Though a guy who identified as a nickel corner for a lot of teams ed do doesn't go in the first around in what outside of within the past ten years maybe maybe even even sooner those guys that were highly coveted in the beginning around two and whatnot but those swiss army knives now guy especially on on the back end there and you're seeing it to <hes> when they can go ahead and <hes> like damn buchanan i think of in terms of being able to play linebacker as well or that that really undersized linebacker role <hes> but that's a a highly coveted skillset now day on buchanan in a lotta ways might be sort of the what i don't want to say the pioneer but the guy kinda set the set the trend in motion of like well is this guy sky in the secondary subdued someone who's just an undersized linebacker. What are we doing here. Either either him or mark barron when mark barron came out once they moved him to that kind of like covers linebacker occur kind of skill set but they definitely pave the way for a lot of these guys like mike darwin to come in and have that of career and the only the thing i'd say about mark baron is he was supposed to be a pro bowl safety. A draft add told me as much when when that when tampa made that pick that his what what do you say is ceiling is a pro pro bowl safety his floors approachable safety yeah yeah i mean in that time period. It made sense to where you still. Oh had dudes that were in rock people <hes> but like he just kind of caught the bad timing of the transitional period <hes> so i think mark bernes drafted six years earlier. That's probably true. Statement just came out at the wrong time at a transition point boy in the n._f._l. Where he adapted and became a pretty good linebacker..

Stupid ran that I spent wasted about two and a half minutes of my life watching you know what jets fans have fun with that that's going to save outlive young bell enjoy enjoy the circus days lady on Bell and New York City where the media scrutiny will be a million times worse than there was in Pittsburgh so okay take a couple more for we call this show Thomas at us. Would you trade a wide receiver tight end or trade for a pick and get a tight enough waivers the cut down I would trade <hes> a wide receiver but I'm not going to give away a wide receiver that is in my opinion someone that could be a contributor this year. So David I spoke about this on the standard is a standard this past week. He brought up a bold prediction stayed in the heating a wide receiver. We'll be traded could I._C._U.. I Rogers gain traded shore. Dr Ryan Switzer a little bit more of a stretch because he's been traded twice already in his career and that's kind of a red flag <hes> the Yoga Deonte Spencer. Maybe <hes> Trey Griffey the problem here. Is that these guys other N._F._l.. L. Teams understand the steelers roster in the steelers understand other teams rosters and so they look at those steelers roster and they see Juju Smith Schuster Dante moncrieff James Washington Ryan Switzer. Eli Raja's Deontay John's and their six day are mealy. GonNa say there's no way they're going to keep seven. WHY WOULD WE TRADE IF WE'RE GONNA wind would just wait until someone gets cut and then we'll pick them up off the waiver wire? That's an option <hes> but. If they really want a specific player that would be only way they would get a trade. Nothing can happen. They've made a lot of trades in the past but at the same time I'm going to say that <hes>. I'm not so sure it'll happen this year. I trading for tight end. I'm fine <hes>. I'm fine with that. I'm not sold on the titans. They have now but then again. I've never seen gentry play so I wanna see that before. I really make any rash decisions here okay. Let's do a couple more. We got a question Mark Baron GonNa be starting at linebacker orders Vince Williams <hes> Devon Bush and he is going to be against Williams starting on the inside. I mean Mark Bernes. GonNa play a lot. Don't think that me saying that's going to be Bush. Williams's somehow a indictment of Mark Baron. That's not the case. I think it's going to be Bush in Williams. I see barren coming in for Roy Williams a lot of packages so keep that in mind in their primary sub package team defense anyways <hes> <hes> rank on who you want to see more of Rudolf Dobbs or hodges for me it's Rudolph one dobbs to hodges three but maybe this will depend and Joshua Dobbs or re Maga's Mason Rudolph. I be heart-broken but maybe Mason Rudolph could be considered trade. Fodder quarterback is a obviously it's a desired position in the national football league and Hodges. You just don't know what you have there. He had put up Great College. Statistics not necessarily at the highest level. Maybe he could be a number three. If you have to trades one way I could definitely see <hes> Rudolph one dobbs. Maybe even sliding down to three because kind of seen what dobbs can do. We've seen it. I'm not so sure were sold on it if he's the answer if he's not the answer sorry about that but <hes> still it's one of those situations where I wanna see. I WANNA see a lot of maze of this year because it is year second ear inn easy. Get things together there. You Go <hes> all right. You know what that's the question. "Matthews? They signed the great Blake Bortles as a backup. Yep. I don't take the Rams have done enough. They signed Fowler. Who's a defensive end? Dante follow. Yeah. I'm gonna say no shot because I liked the fact that the bears my friend Tyler Lago sent me a great great stat bears have three three first round picks from the same draft. They got Kyle fuller. They ha ha Clinton Dix and they got Khalil Mack off the same draft. Yeah. I'm gonna say no chapel that has nothing to do with this off season rock ha ha Clinton Dix one one player. Keep in mind. We're celebrating clay Matthews, but they had more baron, and they got rid of Mark Barron to bring in clay Matthews, which to me is by no means an upgrade in my opinion with where clay Matthews in is is in his career. Eric widow come it on a two year deal does strengthen them a little bit. I think they've moved laterally. I think they've kind of remained who they are more than anything. Because I I mean, would you guys say Mark would you take Mark barrier? Clay matthews. I think I think they kind of do different things. Truly clay's going to attack the quarterback more Barron was more of a coverage. Linebacker wasn't a yes. Yes. But he also he could also get back less. Maybe I'm confusing Mark Bernes game. But as I watched I thought he could do both. I think have made him so dynamic, and I feel like Claes a one trick pony now. And he's older. So I I don't feel like the Rams got a lot better. I think it's it's a name. But he's not the name. He used to be.

Crawling around my chest and told you I took a bunch of that that what you take the emergency, right? Then I emailed my doctor and just picked up, a z pack. That's what you need. I don't even mess around. Yeah. Can you will your doctor taking Email for z pack. No, you have to go see him. No. But I can get one at the minute clinic. I mean a minute long as see my thing was I've had some of that lately. Yeah. You've a clue I couldn't go on antibiotics is I went on antibiotics when I broke my finger. Yeah. And I, but you if you haven't been on him in a while. Absolutely. Take them you'll get fine days. Yes. I gotta heavy. I am ready. Get out ahead of it. And and last night was the big extravaganza which used to be called Super Bowl media day. Yeah. Oy. Looked like a re I saw guys in some Brera Zai saw Tom Brady with a pillow with little heart on it. I swell the guy from barstool got thrown out. Oh, did they I think they were trying to get big canton Teague kicked out yet? They throw them out. I I understand it. They hate Roger Goodell. They don't get into the best parties, and they hate Roger Goodell and they've been like on his case clone, and I think that they somebody noticed them and that was it. But now now it's by the way, Mark Bernes going to join us coming up here in about fifteen minutes from Atlanta where the Rams flea in the Super Bowl Sunday at three thirty. Yep. I've been thinking about it. And you know, the Rams in the chiefs played probably the game of the year the game you were at the game. If five fifty one something fifty four fifty one. Okay. You know when the chiefs played the patriots. Yep. It was forty three. A forty New England. In other words, shootouts are now on both fronts, and boy, wouldn't it be great. If the Super Bowl turned into a shootout because both these teams appear to comfortable last year was kind of a shootout. Yeah. Thirty eight thirty five. Yeah. And even the year before was that the Atlanta one where they came came Ron. Over time. You went to T. So. Yeah. Boy, I'll tell you. I looked at the tickets. Yeah. Good crazy. Good. Good. Crazy. I'm telling you only go once you got to do it. Right. So I went on the show. So thank you very much to Kevin off in the Rams who hooked me up. But I went and looked to be connected. They're still super expensive. But right. I went and looked at what tickets in that section are going for. Yeah. Ten grand? Don't do it. Oh, no. It's no way. And how on don't you actually, I this is one of the few times? I actually believe you. I like I'd never believed when you said the few times you'd try and sell that you never leave games early. I know you leave games early Rams games. I don't know. Rams just games in general games. The Rams are leave the Lakers games at halftime. Totally caught to that. I'm a half first-half guy would actually I would of course, because I'm all about money. Yeah. I always say everyone has a price. Yeah. In this particular case, I don't think you do. I do not have I think somebody could offer you one hundred grand for your seats. And you would probably say no thought about I saw on the way. And I was like doing the math. I'm like, okay. So it's it's ten grand with the tickets. And I know, and I paid I subtract grant if you buying the cheaper price, I wound up making a whole bunch of money in the Super Bowl. But there's no way in hell. And plus you will never get seats that good. No, never and you don't wanna mess.

"People are patent Yona back. You're in LA. How does this team. Mm-hmm. Handle that. The guys you brought in in Dhamma can sue needs to win to solidify his careers. That makes sense church because he hasn't won, he hasn't won I. So he still has something left to to do in this league. So you're going to get a motivated. Sue can't be about money with him. He's like, why don't you get a lot of money on the bottom? So it's about something different with him. So he still has that the chase, a keep to leave, expects nothing less been championship level effort. Everywhere he's gone. They've won. So he's out there, then you got Marcus Peters. I think this might be the best team he's been on in the pros close close to. He's been in a playoff game. Is that there? Yeah. I mean, this is his chance to, you know, right away and become the best corner in the NFL. The only way to be called that guy, you got to win. So there's a lot left out there. I mean, eleven and five was great for us covering them coming through the air. We came better, but I don't think it's enough for Sean McVeigh. I let me take that back. I know it's not enough for him. There was. A lot left last season. There was things he left on the table last season that he's correcting this year and you won the division with that. So it's nice to win the off season, but it's not affecting them in my opinion, the guys that you mentioned to Leib sue Peters all come with depending on how you want to describe it, forceful personalities, or edge, or whatever, whatever it is, the Rams us a little bit of that because for the last couple of years last year particular, they were very good, but they didn't have a lot of guys, good football players, but not guys that might do something crazy. Well, didn't you guys have Elden Gonzales on? Not yet, not yet. Okay. Well, we just joking. I said, when you see Mike trout, please try to give that guy personality. Right? Right, right. And he was, hey, look, that's just how he is, you know? And that's how he is connected to his greatness. I said, well, look, remember that with Marcus Peters, don't change them at all right. Let him be who he is. He's a great player how you see him in what he says and how he behaves is why he's playing the way he's playing. So with Wade Phillips, look. It's he's got swag just like they have swag, but as long as you're getting it done on the field and not messing up off it, you're going to be just fine. You can be who you are. When you look at the the, the, the preseason in terms of what are you wanna see from certain guys. I mean, obviously like Jerry Goff gonna play. A lot tacos, not going to play a lot, but in terms of the way that this roster will be filled out, what are you trying to look for or see from that linebacking group? Because I'm still not sold on Mark beer and playing a full sixteen. So is it just one is two guys? How how does that linebacking core now look if Mark Bernes not able to play, have you? Were you hurt? Did you miss weeks? No, I never missed. We never missed a week. Okay. I did one half. Okay. Well, when you had players that miss weeks, they just kind of disappeared, right? Yes. That's kind of how it is. I mean, until you get back out there and pads, you think he's gonna disappear. No, not disappears. Just not even worth talking about till you're out there talking about Mark Barron. I love it. When Mark Barron is isn't pads, the guy makes plays. He's instinctive. He can run. He can hit. You can do everything. But until he gets out there and stays out there, then we're not even talking about it just yet. That's just the way it is, but as far as linebackers and you'll see this in the preseason, I don't care what group first second or third, fourth units in their nothing should pop. Even if you get beat on the blocks or the the blocking schemes beach you, you shouldn't see long runs. You should see guys getting brought to the ground period tackling being where you should be..

"There navigator talking to the teams finding the best offers but more importantly finding the best fit because this is something that people don't think about in the nfl in agent can send a player to a team that's offering quote unquote the most money or team can send an agent can send the player to a team that's offering a little less money but might be a way better fit and that player will see maybe three years out of that four year deal instead of one or two years out of that more money deal if you know what i'm saying so that's why fit truly does matter because you look at it like this this is kind of a different example because i don't think he was that bad but jonathan hampton signed a pretty juicy deal with the colts and was cut after one year so that's an example of saying okay well clearly the fit you know the changes scheme there's a lot of different changes going on there but it does matter where you go because you want to see your client see through the entire deal because that's more money in your pocket and more and more money in your clients pocket so it's a very very big deal to answer the question it matters it really does that is a great question too i love doing those kind of like behind the scenes things you know that we don't always get a chance to talk about because it definitely factors in all right brandon finn wants to know is the shift from traditional base defenses to nickel being the defacto basti affecting the scouting process if so how i think it is because guys who would have been a twitter before have a role now mark bernes a great example of someone coming out allah bama's a safety everyone thinks like oh this is ideal strong safety right then the game changes and you realize that dude really can't run with the receivers and tight ends that we have now so what do you do you move them down into the box and now he plays outside linebacker so i think that's a way that the scouting process has changed where before you might have scratched guys or you know bump.

"Thanks so much that you guys. Well, thanks. Thanks for alleging the this. Yeah, we are. We are glad that you enjoy our voices over the microphone. Um, I don't we've we've talked about doing I I guess we've tried this a few times with the sole minded John did something done it. But uh, I know we're. Both fit big, just big fans of podcast. We listen to them quite a few. You listen more like music based ones, but he also, Like you got me into podcasts him, uh, Mark Bernes a, a huge influence they think on at least the side of it And as a human it, some. Yeah, it's one listening. I think we were like, um, afraid to do it for a long time because it's very intimidating to like, get on a microphone and talk and then put that out there in the world. Um, and, you know, so I think we like over thought it for a long time which um, you know, I think this is kind of taught me at least to like. Just be less of parade to take the risks in in in in in life and just try it because you can, you know, it's so easy to sit in over, think these types of things to over-think um, songs you're working on over-think ideas that you have in projects and stuff. And to think that like everything has to be perfect beef. Put it out. And I think that that ends up just halting the creative process. Yum. Um, can't live in fear, man. Yeah. So like We just we decided to go for it and and, and do it. You know, we got lucky because we like right when we started doing this, be moved in to the studio. So it's like we have a place to go and we can hair out into a and how we can meet up with some people can come here and we can talk to them and night We we've done a few of them, so foreign that they've getting their got better and better now though. Yeah, I mean I'm I'm I'm hoping that like to use this as, like an example of like. Learning to live life less in in fee her because like I mean, really like for me, especially I I feel like I'm very timid by by this idea of like getting on a microphone and talking like, you know, it's not like one of my my strength. So what can can help settle for both during it? Yeah. I was just me sitting here trying to talk. This would sock Now. He's been socked bad, third leg. Yeah, I think having a couple of us doing it, I think it makes it better and uh, yeah, I'm I'm glad you enjoying it. We're going to keep on doing it. Their Sedona Don't don't be afraid to try him, just go for it. Just if you have something you want to put out there, just put it out and like even if it sucks Like I I I hope that we look back at these early episodes in like a year and realize how bad they because we've gotten some much better at it. Um. Um, but if there were doing it waited a year, it which if we will never doubted it up where this We're just doing it, do it, man, do it. Hey, guys, my name's Kylie. Um, my question actually have two questions for you. Uh, the first one in his would you ever considered plane? You'll never know lives. And then my second one is, um, you guys said You're going to be recording decides who would you consider your doing? He decides to our thinks by guys. You'll never know. But what does that one That electron Exxon? Yeah. I like that song. Yes. Same thing. You'd be. Uh, don't we'd have to completely read the area. Imagine We have to play it very differently, but we can. Cool. Yeah, we talked about playing it Like I think we try to version of it for the acoustic to her family. Yeah. But I just I don't think we could get it. Get it right. We can maybe do it now. You got a new keyboard. So Yeah. Who knows? They go? That has the possibilities are endless They are with one keyboard, Oregon. You can change anything. The world is changed. Yeah. Um, and then a besides tour Now, we've talked about that. Yeah. Um. Um, I think I think be cool. I mean, you know maybe like decides is like, oh, I guess kind of besides. But yeah, just maybe just kind of like, like rare song songs that Wedin don't usually play in Sung's weirder songs that which don't play. Um, I think I think that'd be cool. It some. You know, it's so hard making a set list. Is now Yeah, Now, yeah, it's one of the things that, you know, we have like, so we have we have so many records, and I think that were luckier than a lotta bands at there is not minutes, not that many songs that we have to play, put like in the SAT, many, even like some of the ones that people might consider ones that we have to play, We just don't do it. And like how much do we offer only stop playing in your arms? I don't. I don't think anyone who cares eminent people were met. I mean, I think probably there is a couple of people at the end that like, Oh, I, that would have been called the play that. But I think for the most part now that's the thing about not having a smash hit. The, It doesn't matter, You could play whatever. And hopefully, people know LI Some of it clear We're sick, which feels really good in. Um, you know, I think in the future were, you know, we need to continue to, like evolve, changing up, you know, and they're songs that like, you know, song like Mike misery. I was just thinking of like this on the really like whenever, well, live in with them and I and I had always had fun playing it in. We haven't played that in years. Yeah, we should probably play that one. Um, but there's lots I mean like, uh, dunk don't give up on us. I like playing that Tung. Yeah, I always have. And we don't we don't play. Yeah. Like I mean like those are like some like ones are like pretty obvious And then there's, you know, there's there's tons of other ones it. Yeah. So we're we're we're we're talking about an on this next to her weight. Shit, whatever movie organi where we're going to ISIS land. Yeah Uh, yeah, the next time we do a tour we're talking about maybe like trying to change up the settlers every night, a lease, a chunk of it. We try that once an went back over it didn't seem like he was gone bad for us. But then, uh, uh, our old sound guy, Gary in Timor managers said that it responded awful. So uh, we stopped to doing that. So, but Manila, I think we're better now I think been I think we can achieve our goal. Yeah. So you know, it's something that might just try it, like continue to evolve and make every show a different experience, and you never going to like, please anybody any way So, um, this way You know, the, the chances of pleading people maybe are higher in in a few heaping keeping it like a good time for us like every night. So doesn't feel like we're just putting on the same show every night. And if you're, uh, one of the people that go to a few shows It could be a little more interesting. So if it falls apart, Yeah, That would that. Whereas Gary. So, um, yeah, we'll we'll do that. And and we've done like, like in the voting thing was kind of fun. We do. We did on tour in uh, you know, maybe there's a way to like, bring all that together. Um. Um, to do it every every night dunes doing something different. So. Um, uh, well. So to answer your question besides tour, that could be cool, and we just talked about stuff that really didn't have to do with that, but can some tangents did guy that will. Thanks for the question then later tiger habitat. My name is Emily first. They just wanted to say, hello, amazing. You guys grew when he played in Buffalo back in November. It was my first time seeing you live And I can't wait p guys her back soon. But my question for you as out of all the records you've done, which one was the most memorable and why? Thanks, guys by. Emily. I like that Buffalo show too. Yeah, that was. That was that was offered on the tour. Yeah. That's like what a good venue It is. It is haunted here. But like it's just a great venue just the way you walk out. It's just like it's like a tiny arena now is what it feels like. It's such a cool show. I have a moment to that flesh flashed law. We need. We need to go back there. So thanks for coming to to that gig. They are, um. For so for our most memorable record. Yeah. And why? Um, I mean, I always say pioneer just because of the carry all should pray, picks Ming different than you know, just 'cause we we always talk about that. And now I mean way was crazy. You know, I agree. I was create So I mean, it took a long time. But a ousted the new one. Yeah, because of how beautiful It was to where we were. Yeah. Like thinking back on it now It's even board saying that like we somehow we're able to record a record at like, Well, our viewers every day, like it was. It was insane. It was so pretty like what? The first like. We can have her. There's like the whales were going up north or whatever, and on the winner maybe they're going said, I don't know where they would Wales due in the early winter. They fucking gung ho somewhere. But wherever they were going, I would see them go there every morning. And it was awesome. Like when you see whales now, especially when you're in a studio, Mount can call it that. I guess there was recording gear. It was a studio Now as the studio. Yeah. I mean, isn't it was amazing. And then like there's remember the bathroom upstairs and they had a big window. See take a you'd go to the bathroom poop. And then they're just be the ocean. And there's a there's a hot tub. The outlook on the cliff, basically like over overlooking the the ocean. Um, wake up in the morning. This is Bob Dylan in the hot tub. I did that often now. Um, yeah, I I think he was just. The Dow is really like. We had figured out how we wanna make records, and like, you know, we had kind of experimented on American Candian. Um, we knew really what to do this time. Um, and so we ended up working really well, and I think we're really confident too. I think this is that. Yeah, that's the most confident we've ever been because one we, we've, we've had our own gear and we'd done it before and then to the songs felt like. In poor it in like What we're trying to do yet. Um, so confidence is, is it makes things he's area and was it was like it was very challenging before getting into the studio. Like, when the songs were being written, unlike deconstructing the songs in soften, then once we got to that point like one side tRachman drums before he went to the House. Um, you know, we had we had felt really good about whether songs were at So then it was like. You know, there were like challenging times actually in the studio, But um. Yeah, I mean, we are to so so Pompton songs in the United member we'd say up at night and Listen back to really loud and everybody. It just felt like this, this energy that that you can you can you can hear in the record Um, the yummy meet mean John slept in the tracking room, which was note There was windows all around us and I slept on the couch and he's looked on a blow up mattress on the floor and we'd have the window open every night and you just you're, What did I sleep? You slept on the couch near the stairs. Oh yeah. In a little like tiny couch. Yeah. Um, but you just hear the waves all night and it was just it was it was awesome. That was the best That was the best I'm recording. I don't know. I don't know how will that if there's any bands out there? Could be in dumb quit blown your money on apartments in recording studios and rent. Cool houses and really cool places. It's cheaper and it's. Trillion hands when more fun. So so that's for the bans all the band this there's so many of them run out credit. Yeah. Hey,
