"So talk to us first about this conviction because this seems like, according to all the legal experts, this is kind of a big deal as Joe Biden would say. It is hard to prove seditious conspiracy, and this was a good day for the government. Yeah, it absolutely was a great day and for those of you who actually read the book they want to kill Americans, you probably would have had most of the details of the indictment against Stewart road written out in that long narrative form showing he had started this conspiracy way back in 2020. And I've mentioned several times on this show that the reason I wrote that book was the things we were seeing that were happening between the oath keepers and the Proud Boys in August of 2020. And by September, they were exhorting all of their followers to start buying body armor, weapons, equipment, to go out and get tactical training and to be prepared for the post election period. And that's when the true conspiracy began that they were intending to act as a militia for Donald Trump personally. And to affect the overthrow of the government of the United States. So seditious conspiracy with the last time that anyone had been convicted of that was in 1992, 1993 with the guy who blew up the first World Trade Center bomb. Yeah. Um, Abdul Rahman in New York City. Conspiracy to attack the United States. So now Stuart roads is in the exact same position as Al-Qaeda. Malcolm, I thought it was which was it him or Kelly megs who can keep these dirtbags straight, the one that said, you know, was quoted as saying, I wanted to hang Nancy Pelosi from a limp post. You know, I thought it is an interesting straight line to the attack on Paul Pelosi and the point of your book in the insurgency and January 6th has not ended. It is ongoing. No, it's not ending. It's accelerating. And we are going to the point where now, look, now that the Republicans are taking the house. Okay, if that's what it finally ends up being, you have Marjorie Taylor Greene saying that they're going to, you know, that they want to investigate their detention because they're political prisoners. And that Donald Trump is promising today to pardon every person that took part in the attack on the United States, which would include all of these people.
Caller Supports Marjorie Taylor Greene for House Speaker
"Relate to nominate much you agree. So Georgia, I think, should be a good one. Is that right? So what do you like about Marjorie Taylor green Cathy? Well, I don't really know that much about her. I don't get to listen to the news that Martin stuff, but just I think she'd be a good one. All right, well Kathy, we're going to write you down for MTG as Speaker of the House. I'm sorry to hear. You know, I think there's something going around the country right now. And folks are getting the flu. They're getting sick. I hope you're doing the chicken noodle soup and everything, Kathy. I'm doing a chicken noodle soup and I don't really have a flu. I started out with tons of lighters and now it's on my chest. Oh dear. You gotta get some of it, get some good ice cream, so just good chocolate ice cream. Blue bell is a good brand. So all right. Kathy feel better and thanks for calling in. Folks, Kathy says MTG would make a great Speaker of the House.

"In the party who will be seeking offices. Yes to rules. It's like motel 6 for racist. They always leave the light on for them, right? Or the torch. Motel 6 6 6. Come on in. Come on in. I really need the vitamin for you. Welcome. Welcome. There you go. I got you to do a voice. Welcome to Martin 6 6 6. Okay. Oh, are we the only ones that noticed that the homophobic shoot Colorado shooters anti gay dad looks and sounds exactly like Carl from sling blade? Were you? Yeah. Did you know what I don't do the gay? All right, Dan. I like my biscuits with mustard not gay. And his poor name is dick Delaware. He did a little bit of gay porn, just the tip. Just one. Washington road me across that river. All right, then I wrote him back. All right, Dan. But he needed himself after one of our smallest states. Yes. Yes. Dude, biscuits. 'cause it's frozen. It's deaf. Like I am all time our Denton. Do biscuits come with a choice of mustard or gay somewhere? Is that what? I recognize I'd rather shoot it biscuits. Take them out with a sling blade. But on his episode of intervention, he did meth and then pleasured himself for 9 to ten hours. Excuse me? That happened? That happened. He was on an episode of intervention. Oh, God. Did he do it into potted meat or? All right, I'm just. Damn. What? Okay. Him. Ham. Yes. Glazed ham. I thought seriously someone was with me. I was like, is that actually Carl from sling Whit? I actually didn't think it was real. I was like, he's not the anti gay dad that did get porn. Okay. Well, that was relieved his song is not gay. It didn't carry a mass shooter, but he did. He might vote for Trump. He did most of mostly aggressively straight porn, except for that one solo video for the gay porn series. What is aggressively straight mean Carlos? You're the only straight person here. What is? Well, he's just doing it with the ladies. He prefers the feminine parts. Unlike Lindsey Graham. What did I say? On the Butch meter, how much did Lindsay get about to condemning the Nazi dinner? Did he? Because I like when he gets her. I'm gonna say something to the president. I think he said Trump is having a bad day. It was just not his day. He just a little bit off the fairway on this. And he just needs to hit it back on. Okay, speaking of whiny and spineless, get more Kevin McCarthy whining about how he might not get to be speaker. Well, we have to listen, but you have to listen to everybody in the conference 'cause 5 people on any side can stop anything when you're in the majority. I think when you look at the past history, when Paul Ryan ran, he had more people vote against them in the conference. And then they voted for him on the floor. We got 5 more weeks. We're working through our conference rules today. We want to make sure that everybody has input. But we have to speak as one voice. We will only be successful if we work together. Or we'll lose individually. This is very fragile that we are the only stopgap for this Biden administration. And if we don't do this right, the Democrats can take the majority. Oh my God, that makes me so happy that they can still piss off. This is fantastic between the insurrection, Jack Smith, who knows. All right. Kevin McCarthy, one more. If we play games on the floor, the Democrats could end up picking who the speaker is. So I think at the end of the day, calmer heads were prevailed, we'll work together to find the best practices. And I believe at the end of the day, since I've been leader, all we've done is being able to gain seats. We have not lost seats. We've won seats each and every time, where the rest of the Republicans have lost. So I think at the end of the day, we'll find the right path and we'll make the American public proud of what we're able to accomplish and turn this economy back around. Because we're going to focus on the people. Not on politics. We're going to focus on a hundred Biden. Yeah, exactly. We're talking about a focus on all politics. By the way, I hear from the American people. I will say it until I'm blowing the face. There is no such body of people. I think that would imply that we are a collective and unified country, which we are not. Stop saying American people. That's false. I think he was right the first time a commer hell will prevail. They're going to have a floor fight. It's going to be the first time like a century. Floor fight, fight, fight, fight, Big Bang. Marjorie. He's got to watch out for the three toes monster claw. That could be Marjorie Taylor Greene taking his speakership away. Gavel shredded. 19 minutes after the hour, this portion of the show brought to you by Omaha steaks. Beef. And lastly. Sorry, you were on vacation. We got our own hot steaks packaged. Chris got the hot dogs. My girlfriend got the blame. Got everything else. Pretty much. I gave you a caramel apple tartlet. And she was very kind. Yes, thank you. I appreciate that. ʻOumuamua. Okay, my sister literally asked for it. She's like, can I get some of those Omaha? I'm like, wow, okay. Here's the thing. If you don't know what to get people, I never know what to get people. There's no one that doesn't love getting this giant box of Omaha steaks stuff. You get such amazing quality in such amazing quantity for an amazing price. You get
The Art of Retaliation
"I want to talk about an important principle in politics and it is the art of retaliation, the art of retaliation. Now, this principle came to my mind when Kevin McCarthy said recently, I, Kevin McCarthy, I'm going to remove Eric swalwell, Adam Schiff, and Ilhan Omar from their House committees. Now, we should note that this is a kind of an unprecedented, well, actually, no, it is a precedented step. But it is an unusual step because the general modus operandi, the way of doing business in the Congress is this. The majority party controls the committees. They appoint the chairman of the committees and the committees, by the way, are the mechanism through which legislation passes. Committee is a very important a judiciary committee, the ways and means committee and so on. And the majority party has the majority of members on the committee, but the minority party, in this case, the Democrats in the House would have the right to appoint their own members. But the Democrats decided last time around, to violate this kind of code of etiquette, if you will, and throw a prominent Republicans, notably Marjorie Taylor Greene, offer committee. Oh, she's an extremist. So extremist or not, the point is she's not being named by your side. She was being named by the Republican side. And the fact that the Democrats said, well, we have the power to do it, so we're gonna do it. It was very important and it is very important for Republicans to be like, well, you know what? Two can play at this game.

"That's the net? Yeah. Yes, this is a child. Right. When I finish talking like him, it just sounds like he's always saying. That's pretty accurate actually. Yeah. Yeah. Julian Seattle was concerned. Chris is going to need a trust of some sort since of that hilarious alarm walrus noise he was making yesterday is such a hit. I hope hernia repair is covered in the Stephanie Miller show health plan. No. It is not. You may have to stop doing that. And you won't get a day off for the surgery either. You know what? I do it from the diaphragm from the diaphragm, so it's fine. We may be in that doctor hurts when I do this, and I just go, don't do that. Don't do that. Yeah. Don't do that anymore. We can't cover it. Okay. All right. By the way, did we miss this, Joe tweets, in case anyone was wondering about the state of the cult that is the current Republican Party. The woman who very soon may get to decide who becomes Speaker of the House is tweeting about masks, not protecting you from COVID, because underwear doesn't protect you from parts. She did, I thought that was an onion thing in Marjorie Taylor Greene. Were you here? How am I had a fart off with our? No, he wasn't. No one was talking about it. You missed a lot, Travis. Yeah, wow. Did I? Someone said it's hard to achieve both an Allen smithy production and a radio Hall of Fame worthy show. We did both. We did it. We did it. Okay. Okay. Yes. Don Judy, one last review. Don Junior's cocaine habit tweets. I tune in. Well, it's not his alleged Twitter handle. It's his Twitter handle. Does it say parody? Oh, Elon's going to kick them off. He's rested and quippy ladies and gentlemen. Yep. Quips. Quips back in the morning. Yeah, Don Junior's tweeted, I tuned in for insightful analysis and refutation of the latest conservative fear nonsense. And I got in 1997, zuko, I could not be happier. You're

Rep. Matt Rosendale Doesn't Know How Kevin McCarthy Will Get the Votes
"Things going on with Kevin McCarthy and we're going to have an update of all the shenanigans right now with a new guest on the show from Montana's second congressional district, a man who served in the House of Representatives in Montana in the Senate. He has been the Senate majority leader and we are delighted to have congressman Matt rosendale with us on America first wink, welcome congressman. Doctor gorka, it's good to be with you today. All right, so tell us what was going on on Capitol Hill yesterday and today, and there's quite a few people who have the letter R after their name who do not want Kevin McCarthy to be the speaker. Is that correct? That is correct. We can not continue to put the same people in to lead this conference and use the same rules that they have been utilizing for the last several years and hope and pray that maybe we'll get a different outcome. Absolutely. Now, one of the things I heard is that for an hour and a half, Marjorie Taylor Greene was negotiating behind closed doors with Kevin McCarthy. Do you know anything about that? Because that disturbs me a little bit. That I can not speak to, what I will tell you is I think that there's probably going to be a lot of discussions that take place over the next 40 days leading up to January the third when mister McCarthy is going to have to try to accumulate 200 and 18 votes on the floor. He did not receive that yesterday. He didn't receive 200. I'm sure a lot of your listeners listen heard the quote from representative Matt Gaetz yesterday. He didn't get 200. He didn't get 190. And so if you couldn't acquire 218 votes over the last 6 years, how is it that you expect to gather the additional 30 that you need over the next 40 days?

"But I highly encourage you guys to try it for all four weeks. You won't regret it. What are the guarantees because I think one of the reasons why people are so upset and are so skeptical is because of promises that haven't been fulfilled. What does it look like then congresswoman Greene of speaker McCarthy if Kevin McCarthy becomes speaker, what does that look like from a subpoena and an investigation standpoint? What assurances can you give our audience? I can give everybody 100% assurance if Kevin McCarthy becomes speaker because he will have the gavel that our committee's will lead into investigation. So that means subpoena power. And those subpoenas will be used against the Biden administration. It will be used against all of the corruption that everyone has been upset about over the past two years. And I haven't been told no on one single thing. And I think that's what people need to focus on. What terrifies me is I just heard my colleague, bob good, who is leading this effort. One of the leaders of this effort say that he would vote with the Democrats. I didn't even know he'd said that. And that shocks me. It shocks me just the same as I heard Don bacon, tell a reporter outside the House chamber the other night. That he would also talk to the Democrats about electing a speaker. These are things people are saying out loud on interviews. Imagine what they're saying behind closed doors. And you know, I'm very realistic, Charlie, about the situation that we are in and razor thin majority means that we have to get our act together. It means that the Republican conference has a responsibility to not fall apart fighting with one another to where we come to gridlock and can't accomplish anything. We have to act like adults and professionals, and we have to work together, present an agenda that serves America first. And I'll be fighting as hard as possible to make that as conservative as we possibly can. But we are stuck in this position because of our horrible election systems. And the fact that redistricting happened after the census was done pre COVID and so many people moved so many people moved. And we won the popular vote, but yet we couldn't deliver more House seats. And we couldn't deliver more wins and governorships and Senate seats, which is devastating. And one thing that also people need to understand this is Nancy Pelosi had 32 no votes in her conference. And she didn't even have a challenger. 32 no votes and no challenger. And then they elected her on January 3rd of 2021, which was to me one of the most devastating things to happen to our country. Paul Ryan had 43 no votes. And he did have a challenger. But they elected him. And again, that was freedom caucus that gave us Paul Ryan. Unfortunately, and I'm not happy about that. And then he did nothing. They did nothing. They didn't repeal ObamaCare. They didn't fund the wall. They didn't repeal $500 million given to Planned Parenthood. To me, these are Republican failures that we can not allow to happen anymore, but the worst thing we could ever do is fight so much among ourselves and create so much drama. And the American people are sick and tired of the drama that we totally turn people off from the Republican Party when we desperately need our voters going into 2024. And so that's how I see it. I'm going to play on the playing field that I am standing on. And I'm going to have to play within the guidelines that I'm forced to exist in, but that means I'm going to play as hard as possible. And we're going to win Charlie. We are going to win, and we're going to do a damn good job that people will be proud of. Marjorie Taylor Greene, thank you for joining us. Really appreciate it. "With us now as Marjorie Taylor Greene, the terrific member of the House of Representatives and Marjorie Taylor Greene has said she is going to support Kevin McCarthy for Speaker of the House. Congresswoman Greene, congratulations on your reelection and tell us why you think speaker are congressman McCarthy would be the best option for speaker. Well, thank you so much, Charlie. I'm really grateful to all of everyone in my district that has supported me to send me back to Congress to represent them. This is unprecedented. What we're going into this razor thin majority and thank God we're going to have the majority because here for the past week, we haven't even been sure if that was going to happen. We still don't know the number of seats we're going to have. It's estimated anywhere between two 18 to some would even set as high as two 26. I have a really hard time seeing that. So everyone just keeps telling me two 20 to two 22 ish. But so that means that we have no basically no margin of error. And that means that our conference has to be as united as possible. And we're also, we also have to look forward. We're going into a presidential election in 2024. And so what we're able to do here in our conference over the next two years really plays in to our chances of winning back The White House and even taking back the Senate. So here we are. We're going to be Republicans in the majority. We will not have any help in the Senate because we'll have no control there. We'll have a democratic controlled White House and we will be on our own over here in the House of Representatives. Now I'm very much a realist. I make decisions based on the reality that I'm in and that I'm given. And I believe that we have to we have to elect one speaker. We have to unify because here's what's happening behind the scenes and the halls of Congress and many different meetings. We have different factions of our Republican conference that are looking to use their power, the power of a few to challenge the leadership or challenge Kevin McCarthy in order to get what they want. Now, the problem with that is they're also talking to Democrats. And that is extremely concerning to me. I think after the past two years, what Democrats have done to this country and how they have treated president Trump, his administration, his supporters, and Republicans all over the country. And I'm talking about parents at the school boards. I'm talking about pro life activist being, you know, having the FBI show up at their house. I'm talking about the pretrial January 6th defendants who have yet to see a day in court and have been held this entire time. And just the threat, the threat to those to conservatives, especially under the potential 87,000 IRS army. I think it is imperative. And it's our duty as Republicans to pull ourselves together and prove to the American people that we're the party that can be trusted in the majority and that we can argue all we want to and believe me, I'm one of those that gets the most heated in these debates, fighting for conservative values. We are going to have to fight it out, but we're going to have to unite behind one speaker because we can't open the door to Democrats. We can not allow them to make deals we and deal with weak Republicans in order to elect a speaker that they could all choose to deal with. Now here is the bargaining ship on the table. They're talking about subpoena power. So they're trying to make a deal with anybody they can that is willing to give up subpoena power against the Biden administration. That means everything in Hunter Biden's laptop, that means all of the things that the Biden administration has been doing to our country and to America. That means all of the corruption. So to me, electing Speaker of the House, our Speaker of the House, to me, having that gavel is all about subpoena power. And I think everyone has to get laser focused on that. We have to have subpoena power. People have to be held accountable. The American people deserve transparency. These people that have done all of these things deserve they deserve accountability. And I'm talking about from everything from COVID to Afghanistan to Ukraine to Homeland Security and I'm talking about big tech. I'm talking about Hunter Biden's laptop and the things that exist on that laptop that have direct connections to Joe Biden and their corrupt business dealings and foreign countries. And so the way I see it is that it's an imperative duty of all of us to elect our speaker. We have to let Kevin McCarthy because he's already said publicly and promised all of us that he would support these investigations..

Did Independent Voters Make the Devil's Bargain?
"Happened across the country in the only states that didn't really happen is Florida, to be honest, where independence we thought independence we're going to break our way. And Andrew, do you remember that show that we did right before the midterms of how we could lose and we got so much hate mail, where one of the ways I said is if independence somehow don't break our way. Now, I'll be very honest. I didn't think that was possible. I didn't think with gas prices with immigration with Biden being so unpopular. Now, what ended up happening though seemed to be a kind of devil's bargain that independence did in their head at least in Arizona, where they went into the voting booth very convincingly by 6 to 8 points saying that we are going to vote for some Republicans, but we're not going to vote for all Republicans. And so here's the one thing that no one has been able to explain to me, which is if it was, you know, if they were really in Scottsdale, for example, or in mesa, if all of it was synthetic, then why on earth was David schweickart and Andy Biggs? Why were they outperforming Carrie Lake, which none of us would have thought Andrew. We thought that Arizona would want a Republican governor a lot more than a Republican Congress. That is not the case. It is clear that at least in Arizona and in other states, Georgia as well, that voters were saying that we want some Democrats to run our states, which is just amazing. You think about it, but it really might not have been that. It was we want the person that is not going to be controversial. And by the way, it didn't take a lot to tip it over the edge. Why? It's because they ran up the score in downtown Phoenix.
There's Something We Can Learn From Democrats...
"There is something I want to say, and I know that people do not want to hear this in our audience because they email and they say Charlie stopped talking about things that went wrong. They just flat out stole it. Okay, but this is interesting though. If you listen to what happened in Colorado, because I made a lot of calls last night, right? I made calls to people on the ground in Pennsylvania and Colorado and Georgia and in most states, except Texas and Florida, and they have all said as they're doing their data analysis. They saw a same and similar collapse of independence across the board across the country. Now, people might say, well, Charlie, it's because they had this rigged system. Well, if that's the case, then how did Ron DeSantis win by 20 points, right? How did Brian Kemp win by 6 or 7 points. Now, ballot harvesting and ballot capturing and machines going down in Arizona, we are the one of the only shows that is going to repeatedly talk about it. But there is growing evidence that there was something done by the Democrats that we can learn from that is constructive and important about how on earth did we do so well with independence in the polling and in certain early returns and in person election day, but there was a faction, a type of independence that totally gravitated their support away from us. And Andrew, there could be some explanations. But the most logical one would probably be something around Dobbs, something around a targeted ad campaign, or is it Andrew that Republicans didn't sprit sprint the last half mile of the marathon? Do you think that we just kind of were candidates just kind of let up that there wasn't a targeted campaign to go after independence? I don't know, I'm just thinking out loud. Andrew, what are your thoughts on that? I mean, listen, I think Dobbs completely. It's a point that I've made on the show this week. I think, you know, living in California, you know, my wife's Friends, we would have these conversations. And it kind of, I kind of didn't key in on it enough. Honestly. But they did a great job on platforms like TikTok, social media, you know, my wife told me hers was full of it before the election of just people saying, hey, they want a criminalized miscarriages. We all know that that's so ridiculous not to be true. I mean, half of pregnancies basically end in miscarriage. That's never going to happen. That's a crazy thing. I think it worked a lot with independence. I think it worked a lot with single women. We saw them go way far to the left this cycle.
Could Liz Cheney Become the New House Speaker?
"Some rather bizarre information coming from Capitol Hill. So I didn't think this was a possibility, but it sort of makes sense. So there is some concern that if the Republicans only have a one or two seat majority in the House of Representatives, that you could have some establishment or moderate Republicans. Siding with the Democrats and installing Liz Cheney as Speaker of the House. You say, well Todd Liz Cheney's she lost her congressional race. She's not in Congress, doesn't matter. According to the rules of the House, the speaker does not have to be an elected member of Congress, which is why so many people were suggesting, oh, let's get Donald Trump as the Speaker of the House. Well, I don't think you're going to be able to do that if you've got some renegade establishment Republicans out there who would be threatening and there are some and we're going to be naming names who are suggesting they would be supportive of Liz Cheney. This is one of the reasons why MTG and by the way, one of those individuals is congressman Don bacon from Nebraska. So this is why Marjorie Taylor Greene came out yesterday and said that she is supporting Kevin McCarthy. She's afraid that people might jump ship and that there would be enough votes to install Liz Cheney as the Speaker of the House. This is how crazy it's getting here, people. Can you imagine?
Rep. Jim Jordan: Kevin McCarthy Brings the Team Together
"Think what's interesting is you already have Donald Trump backing McCarthy Apparently making calls for him You have Marjorie Taylor Greene back in McCarthy We have you backing McCarthy We have certain Republican moderates back in the car You know I look at McCarthy and I try to step back he's not John Boehner He's not Paul Ryan He didn't try and undermine the conservative base or the mag of base He hasn't done what McConnell has done in the Senate gone after people he doesn't like to try and defeat them in the general election or in the primaries He's a different cat altogether I think Don't you Yes that is what has to happen in today's political world You got to bring the team together And he has done it so again I think that is what's needed for all kinds of reasons Most of most of which is just how radical the left is I mean again think about what they've done to our country No border record crime $5 gas 41 year inflation 41 year high inflation rate and of course what they're doing to your First Amendment Let me ask you this
Will New House Republicans Side With Democrats to Get Things Done?
"You said blame them all. Trump Republicans, their media, their voters because they form a cluster of insanity and degradation, a heaving ball, heading towards a cliff, 2022 was us stepping out of the way before a dragged us with them. We're not out of danger yet, but damn, it feels like we've dodged a catastrophe. And boy, howdy. That is really true. I mean, yeah, go ahead. I mean, I think that on some level, if the house does go Republican, they're gonna have to do some of the stupid hearings that they talk about. I think they're still talking about a Hunter Biden hearing, which is just Travis. Sorry. I want to point out on that subject. I do think you're right that they're going to these hearings, but remember, these are going to have to be in committees and committees are going to be evenly divided because the house is so close. So all it takes is one Republican, one sane Republican, which I know that's a long shot, but from a district that flipped these new York people. They're not going to be able to risk these crazy votes to keep their receipts. So I don't even know if the investigations are going to move that much. Well, Chris Hayes tweeted, I feel like the universe wants the house to be 2018, 2017, and you said one Republican could certainly be tempted to go independent and caucus with Dems. I mean, I think the jury is really still out on what happens with the house. And I think that if it's within a couple of a couple of seats, which it seems like it's going to be, no, excuse me. Yeah. Too much joy. And swallow swallow. Where it seems like it's heading, certainly, some of those Republican representatives are going to say, okay, you know what? I'd rather get stuff done. Then have to sit through Marjorie Taylor Greene going off about drag
Marjorie Taylor Greene: DeSantis Should Stay Put in Florida
"What's on your mind as you think about this Trump situation, you were telling me about Marjorie Taylor Greene. Yeah, yeah, there's apparently there's an article on epoch times that that desantis should avoid the 2024 race and remain a Florida governor and the reason she gives is that we need to have as many Republican governors in the United States as possible because they are the ones that control their state, the crime, all those things, right? And if we don't have a really good governor, then all those things that people take for granted quite frankly, will fall to the wayside or elect a Democrat and then things will go really bad. You know, like in California and in New York. So I think she does have a point, but I kind of wish she would also stay out of the primary. I don't really think that anybody should be talking about the primary right now. It's too early. It's too early and it's also a little bit toxic.
Dinesh Considers the Future of the House Leadership
"There's a very interesting and perhaps somewhat unexpected challenge to both McCarthy's leadership, Kevin McCarthy's leadership in the house. And Mitch McConnell's in the Senate. Now the house is almost certainly going to be in the hands of the GOP. There is some races still undecided, but Republicans are ahead of the Democrats substantially and should be able to get to the majority fairly easily. So McCarthy is almost certainly going to be the Speaker of the House. Or at least the Republicans will have a chance to choose a speaker. Now McCarthy has always, this guy is like a frat boy. I mean, he basically has got everyone in his pocket. They're all his buddies. They like to go, you know, eat steak with him and have a glass of wine. So he's been able to kind of glad hand his way to the leadership. And there's no doubt that he does have those personal qualities of affability and, you know, everybody likes Kevin McCarthy, but we're in a little bit of a precarious situation. And if you agree that we are in, let's call it Cold War combat mode, then we actually need a combat general. And I think Republicans are beginning to realize this. I'm not saying they're going to be able to prevent McCarthy from getting the leadership because as far as I can see, there's nobody else, perhaps Jim Jordan, who has the ability to run toe to toe with McCarthy and maybe give him a race and these positions are really important because when you come in as an elected congressman or senator, in a sense, you're almost giving up your power to your leader because your leader then controls committees controls appointments, controls the agenda, decide what bills advance and so on. So this is a very important decision. And I think that the house, the freedom caucus, by the way, Marjorie Taylor Greene is in there, Matt, Gates is in there. So these are people who might be able to exercise leverage on McCarthy and basically say, listen, no Democrats going to vote for you. You need the Republicans to kind of line up behind you. But we're not going to, unless we get certain agreements, concessions, and specific authorizations from you now in advance.
Joe Biden's Agenda Is Done With a Republican House
"Let me just put this in perspective so you know the electoral count three states out. If we get two of the three states, we have control of the Senate. We're going to take control of the House. There doesn't seem to be any path at all for the Democrats to take it. They got to win, of course, at this point, nothing could shut off me. But I'm feeling really confident and I think we all feel pretty good about House majority to the Republican Party. We have fired Nancy Pelosi. We flip the house. That's a huge story. Joe Biden's agenda is done. His radical agenda is finished, and maybe even more importantly, with House majority to the Republicans, with Republican control of the House, they'll be investigations over Hunter Biden. They'll be investigations over Joe Biden. They'll be investigations into the corrupt Democrats. Get ready Marjorie Taylor Greene. Come on. Come on, Jim Jordan. Come on, Steve scalise. Come on, Kevin McCarthy. There's going to be a new sheriff in town in January, and it's going to be glorious. They lost, they got their butts beat. No way around it. And you get your rear end whipped, whether you lose by one at the end of the game or you lose by a hundred. They lost.
Democrats Didn't Fear Trump's Failure, They Feared His Success
"Of the Republicans, you know what? I was thinking about this the other day. And I have been talking about this on my podcast in elsewhere. That the Democrats and the left did not fear Donald Trump's failure. You know, they used to say, always going to be a failure. He's going to get us into World War three and all this stuff. That was all nonsense. They did not fear his failure. They feared his success. Because they knew that if he succeeded, he'd expose all of their fraud and hypocrisy and the depth of corruption and rock in Washington, et cetera, which she has done and continues to do. But more so, they feared his success because they knew that that would give rise to hundreds, if not thousands of other America first candidates and leaders. And that is exactly what's happened. You'll notice that from Carrie Lake to Herschel Walker damn Baltic in New Hampshire across the board. These are for the most part, America first candidates. You know, it's much easier said for the left and the deep state and permanent bureaucracy to try to take down one man Donald Trump. They haven't succeeded, but it's much easier for them to target one guy and try to remove him as a political force. It's much more difficult for them to try to squash hundreds of them carry Lake Marjorie Taylor Greene. Matt Gaetz, Donald Trump, all of them, and all of us. It's much more difficult.
Ali Velshi's Worldwide Perspective on the Turn From True Democracy
"If anyone has a worldview because you report from all over the world all the time, it's that, right? Netanyahu is making a comeback. What's his name, Bolsonaro, thank God, just lost, but it is this ongoing worldwide battle, isn't it? About autocracy fascism. There are a couple of standouts though in that. So Netanyahu, mama had been Salman who doesn't have to run for elections ever. Vladimir Putin who doesn't have to run for elections ever. And Xi Jinping. We have a few people here who are in a much better position if Donald Trump were to win the election. And Donald Trump now looks like we'll declare that he's running for president on according to some sources on November the 14th. So there are people who are setting up for it, right? So Saudi Arabia and Iran got together to cut oil production to increase oil prices right before an election to hurt Democrats. And because they would like to hurt Democrats and they'd like Donald Trump in power. Netanyahu facing indictment and all sorts of things want to be prime minister of Israel looks like that's actually going to happen. And have never had a better friend than Donald Trump. So there's two themes going on in the world. There's a general lurch to the right, but not just the right toward fascism toward all these things. And I think a lot of people don't understand that having the vote does not guarantee you democracy, right? Iran has about Russia has a vote. All these people vote. But there's this lurch to the right, and then there's a bunch of people in the world setting up for Donald Trump to regain the top spot as the anti democratic guy in chief. And that's a big issue. You've now heard a lot of Republicans talking about, I don't know if we should spend this kind of money in Ukraine. Kevin McCarthy Senate Marjorie Taylor Greene said it. You know, so I am very worried that that is an abstraction to a lot of Americans, right? We're dealing with the price of gas. The price of food, and these are all very, very real issues with interest rates going up and inflation. But if democracy ends while we're worried about that, it's going to be a problem.
Charlie Talks With Marjorie Taylor Greene About Her Big Debate Win
"Now is Marjorie Taylor Greene. She's a fighter. Congresswoman green, how are you doing? Welcome back to the program. Hi, Charlie. I'm doing well. How are you? Doing great, really good debate. The other night, was that your local congressional debate? What was that all about? Yes, it was. That was my congressional debate for my district, Georgia's 14th district in Charlie. I have to tell you the craziest thing. Here in Georgia, our debates are held in the city of Atlanta at the Atlanta press club. And I asked them last night, I said next year when we do this, you guys need to come out to my district and allow my constituents to sit in, you know, with an audience, they don't do that here in Georgia. We go to the Georgia public broadcasting studio in the Atlanta press club post all the debates there in downtown Atlanta, but I think it should be in the district. Yeah, so I debated Marcus flowers, the Democrat candidate running against me that can not win, by the way, because our district is so red and also because my constituents support me, which I'm so grateful for, but Marcus flower is such a grifter. It's absolutely unreal. He has raised millions of dollars on basically an I hate him teach campaign, you know, of course for mostly California Democrats in New York Democrats. So we had our debate and I think I did pretty well. Well, I think you did great. And I think that them attacking you and actually putting you into a race. I don't think it's competitive. There's actually really stupid for them.
Kurt Schlicter on the Cascading Movement Against the Democrats
"So Kurt, I agree, the trend is definitely our friend. What could possibly go wrong? We need to have at least some form of a threat analysis. Or is it just we just basically wait for time to last because it seems as if there is a cascading movement against the Democrats building? Look, I think we actively do what we are doing. This fight isn't going to win itself. We need to get out there. We need to knock on doors. We need to talk to people. We need to communicate. There's a lot of money pouring into allow reaching the undecided voters. That's good. We need to keep pounding away on the set of issues. Crime, inflation, the border bizarre trans stuff. These are winning issues. People are not in on that. And I think this election, we're going to look back on and there are going to be some important trends here that we saw, I keep saying the most important development in American politics since the election of Donald Trump is the move of Hispanic Americans towards the Republican Party. This is huge. The Democrats bet everything they put all their chips on having Hispanics is an obedient surf class that would obey the commands of liberal white overlords, apparently none of them have married Hispanic woman. Let me tell you. This is a huge, huge deal. And I am so excited that we've earned the trust of these faith flag and family folk who want nothing more than to work hard and succeed in America. And don't expect to be handed anything. And don't want to be handed anything and don't want to be used or have their kids used as some bizarre social experiments.
Kurt Schlichter Describes His New Book 'Inferno'
"Joining us now is Kurt schlichter, very smart patriot and author of inferno, a new book out, Kurt, welcome back to the program. Hey, thanks for having me, Charlie. Tell us about the book right off the bat. What is it about? Look, I was a friend of Andrew breitbart like a lot of people. And he said, you got to make your own culture. So about 8 years ago, or actually about 6 years ago, I decided to start writing conservative action novels, because I was sick of taking these dumb airplane books and throwing them across the room because they were lousy. So I wrote one. And that was called people's republic. And now I'm on number 7, and I've sold like in the 6 figures of these things. People love them. This is number one. Inferno has been out since Thursday. It is number one in political fiction. It's in a top 200 and all of Amazon. And I'm trying to do what conservatives should do, which is stop whining about how everything's woke and do something myself. And these books are fun. There's action, they're shooting, but it's making fun of liberals. It's got something for everybody.

"Congresswoman green, welcome back to America first. Hi, doctor gorka I'm so glad to be on your show today. So the timing couldn't be better, you wanted to impeach Joe Biden day one. He is giving a speech today in Georgia. Which is going to be allegedly about stopping any reforms of voter integrity and the scuttlebutt has it that he will use the phrase. It is a domestic threat to try and stop election fraud in America. This means congresswoman Greene after January 6th, they're not taking their foot off the gas that actually doubling down, correct? Oh, absolutely. This is going to increase, you know, Joe Biden, who has placed unconstitutional mandate through osha on employees and companies with employees at a hundred or more. He cares so much about vaccine ID that he's made this mandate a huge issue, but yet they want to wipe out better ID. Like you shouldn't be able to show and I need a boat. That's what Democrats want. They want to anyone to be able to mail in a ballot without even showing who they are, but yet they want to impose a vaccine ID for people to be able to pursue life, liberty and happiness, you know, things like working a job to provide for their family, going to a restaurant concert game, private club, Jim, the stay healthy and protect themselves from COVID-19. But this is where the
"marjorie taylor greene" Discussed on The Charlie Kirk Show
"Hey everybody, welcome to this episode of the Charlie Kirk show with us today. Is it congresswoman or congressman? I can never understand. Look, genders are the most important thing we have to protect congresswoman. But there's this thing where you get introduced as congressman sometimes. Have you noticed this? Yeah, that was like the whole weird feminist thing that sucked into the Republican movement. I'm trying to take it back to I've never understood that. So congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene were supposed to hate you and I don't actually really like you. So why is that? Why does the media tell us that you're like an existential threat to our democracy or whatever that? Well, apparently that's what they want everyone to believe. I'm really proud of my Wikipedia page. I have to tell you is such a badge of honor. I will never change it. It says the most horrible, disgusting lies about me. And so I'm keeping it there just the way it is so that everyone can really understand what Wikipedia is all about. So I endorsed you early if I remember correctly. You did. And. Thank you. You got, of course, you got elected and you've decided to actually do what you said you were gonna do. And someone asked me a question once. I was in Wisconsin and he says Charlie, do you renounce your denounce your endorsement of marginally Marjorie Taylor Greene? I said, why would I do that? Oh, because of all these things that she said, I said, you know, this idea that you have to we have to pander to what they tell us what to do is because the media tells us to be angry about something. It's just extraordinary. So even in Congress, not even a year, is that right? Not even a year. It hasn't even been a year. What has surprised you the most?.

"Someone so far out of the American political mainstream that she can and should be ignored. That would be a mistake for both major political parties. Greene, a Georgia Republican, whose views are so fringe that GOP leadership stripped her of her committee assignments just a month after she arrived in Congress this year, represents a not insignificant slice of the current mood on the right. She slings grievance better than anyone in the Nats bull pen throws pitches. She knows just how to trigger liberals without rageous rhetoric that ripens in the QAnon realm of conspiracy theories and misinformation. She is as unmasked, unvaccinated and uncivil as she tears through Capitol Hill and wholly unapologetic. But step inside her brand of professional outrage and performance art and you are simultaneously inside a living autopsy of the current Republican Party and its reanimation. For a little more than an hour earlier this week. Green hopped on the line during a virtual town hall with constituents and fans to hurl some of her phrygia ideas, dog whistles and cherry picked facts to her base. The evening was a masterclass of a trumpian understudy. She called COVID-19 a bioweapon and said Biden's authoritarian mandate requiring that companies of 100 people or more was on hold, even though the situation is far less clear than that. In a troll of transgender individuals who are expecting she said. The only people that are pregnant are women. She wrongly asserted that Biden's Justice Department still believes parents are domestic terrorists and that Republicans proposed credible members of the committee charged with investigating the January 6th insurrection and not two members who were openly hostile to its work. She called the protesters who stormed the capitol, innocent people who simply got legal permits to protest on January 6th. Greene said Biden's looming infrastructure plan would amount to a communist takeover of America and would teach racism on college campuses. It's going to bankrupt the country. Plain and simple, green predicted, adding it probably would cost some $5 trillion. Democratic drafters have put the number at $1.75 trillion and are waiting for a ruling from the congressional budget office. The bill was a payoff to the communist social elite. She said, you know who these people are? Big tech executives. These are the companies that censored you and kicked you off Facebook. Kicked you off social media and silenced your voice. This, of course, would be news to the suspected commies who made billions on social media..

Marjorie, it's such an indictment of the business as usual, political establishment, not just the rhinos, but actually the GOP establishment that we've had hundreds of arrests. We've had the FBI chase down people who weren't even inside Congress on January 6th in Alaska. I've got friends telling me my friend was not even near Congress and they tracked her with the phone data. The phone company gave the geolocating data were you outside Congress, just insanity, the FBI hunting down these people instead of BLM or antifa. Tell us what you found when you went to this hellhole in D.C. where these people are being kept prisoner. I found something I never thought I'd see in our country. I found something that we've seen in movies and we hear stories about in other countries. I found out that what I thought was Internet rumors and not fully true, I found out it's all true. Everything we've been hearing is true about what's happening is January 6th defendants. Not only that I've talked to people who've had their homes raided by the FBI in the dark of night. I talked to one man and his wife, where they had handcuffed their child with handcuffed and she was dragged out in the front yard and nothing but a nightie and then the small town newspaper where they lived took a picture of her and put her on the front page of the newspaper, and that woman wasn't even in Washington, D.C. on January 6th. She was in California at home. And this is what's happening, but then I met people and Sebastian, I want to tell you I tried for months to get in that jail and several of my colleagues went with me, Louie gohmert, Matt Gaetz, Paul gosar, Andy Biggs, bob good. Those are the ones that have come along. They've been there every time, but they've definitely tried to. And I've tried every single time to get in. Marjorie Taylor Greene. You know who she is. She's a freshman congressman. She's a Republican. And she is just in love with all this conspiratorial nutball stuff. In love with it, and she was removed yesterday from Oliver Committee's Republicans on top of Republican That's a good thing. I've always said when we have a problem where the first to clean our own homes, But it should have been cleaned in the way that it was cleaned with her and I'll give you the information coming up in the next hour, But I just want you to think about it. Now do a little homework. Google this name Marjorie Taylor Greene. And look at what this freshman congresswoman has said in the past. Mean she's bought into a lot of conspiracy. Syriza's Series. Excuse me. And organizations that perpetuate those, And here we go again being a representative of all kinds of people. Regardless of their politics. It's it's her job. Just like with the to counsel. So I think that's the angle that a lot of the Democrats or at least throwing on this new congressman, you can't represent our people. How do you know? You haven't given her try yet. So I'm thinking, especially when you look at who voted for. It's like 75% of that particular district voted for her. Constituents if she were removed out, kicked out of the Congress. Wow. And how do you use them to get rid of her? Or should we even think about getting rid of her? I think that's ultimately the goal. I think the first step in doing that was, you know, relieving her of all of her committee assignments. I mean, this is just begun of the first few weeks of you know, Congress opening back up. Biden, you know, on the other hand, is moving at breakneck speed so fast. With all of these executive orders that we've talked about a couple of times this week. And those, you know, I mean, Again. "On Capitol Hill were congressional Democrats taking the rare step of removing a member from the committee's with a handful of Republican votes. Georgia Congressman Marjorie Taylor Greene was stripped of her to committee assignments. Education and budget. The final vote tonight was to 30 to 1 99, with 11 Republicans siding with the Democratic majority. Earlier today, the Georgia lawmakers speaking on the House floor for about 10 Minutes. In her speech, she said that she quote stopped believing in Q and on some time in 2018 after finding misinformation, lies and things that were not true. She also walked back some previous comments suggesting that school shootings like the 2012 shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary and the 20 18 Parkland shooting were staged. She also attracted the past claim, suggesting that the 9 11 terror attacks may not have occurred more from the House floor with representative Marjorie Taylor Greene earlier today, So when we elected President Trump and then I started seeing things in the news that didn't make sense to me like Russian collusion. Which are conspiracy theories also and have been proven. So these things bothered me deeply, and I realized just watching CNN or Fox News. I may not find the truth. And so what I did is I started looking up things on the Internet, asking questions like most people do everyday use Google And I stumbled across something. And this is that the end of 2017 called Q and on. Well, these posts were mainly about this Russian collusion, information. Ah, lot of it was some of what I would see on the news that night, and I got very interested in it. So I posted about it on Facebook or read about it. I talked about it. I asked questions about it. And then more information came from it. But you see, here's the problem throughout 2018 because I was upset about things and didn't trust The government really, because the people here weren't doing the things that I thought they should be doing for us. The things that I just told you I cared about and I want, you know, a lot of Americans don't trust our government, and that's sad. The problem with that is so as I was allowed to believe things that weren't true, and I would ask questions questions about them and talk about them. And that is absolutely what I regret because if it weren't for the face Post and comments that I liked in 2018. I wouldn't be standing here today and you couldn't point a finger and accuse me of anything wrong because I've lived a very good life that I'm proud of. My family's proud of my husband's proud of my Children are proud of, and that's what my district elected me for. Those comments from freshman representative Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia responding here is Democratic Congressman Jim McGovern in Massachusetts. Is also the chair of the House Rules Committee, explaining why Democrats decided to proceed with today's four vote that would strip the representative from her two key committee assignments. The party of Lincoln is becoming the party of violent conspiracy theories, and apparently, the leaders of the Republican Party in the House today are not going to do a damn thing about it. Now. I never thought I would say this Madam speaker, but I agree with Mitch McConnell, the Senate minority leader this week. Called Congress one greens embrace of conspiracy theories, and I quote a cancer for the Republican Party and quote I would take it a step further. I think giving cars when green, a megaphone on his standing committee would be a cancer on this entire Congress. None of us get to decide who the voters sent to Congress but his members of this body it is our job to set the standard for the conduct of those who serve here, especially when They cross the line into violence. The Republican talking point now seems to be. I condemn Congresswoman Green's words. But Madam speaker, her words air indefensible period and we must act not because it helps us or hurts them, but because it is the right thing to do for this institution and for America, and that from Congressman Jim McGovern from today. His floor debate, at one point of the representative before elected to Congress referred to Speaker Nancy Pelosi, saying that she should take quote a bullet to the head at her weekly news conference, this from the House speaker, I remained profoundly concerned about House Republicans leadership acceptance of extreme conspiracy theorist. Particularly to service their eagerness to reward a fool, a non adherent, a 9 11 truther, ah harasser of child survivors of school shootings and a value to give them valued committee positions, including who could imagine they would put such a person on the Education Committee today, and the House will vote to remove represent green from her seat on education and labor and the budget committees. That's just so unfortunate you would I think that the Republican leadership in the Congress would have some sense of responsibility to this institution, as they did when they did not see represented King of Iowa or two years ago for some reason. E have chosen not to go down that path. Even though we gave Mr Hoyer gave the leader McCarthy sufficient notice that this was ah, path. We would follow that early today from House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. It was last night in

We're talking about the Republican Party and this Inflection point that it's reached where you have potentially a vote to remove Liz Cheney from leadership at the same time that a large portion of the caucus is giving a pass to Marjorie Taylor Greene. And I think this is real problem for the conservative movement and the way I define the conservative movement, and this is what I want to see from the Republican Party because again, I think it's important to have a strong conservative party in this country to offset What progressives and what the far left want to do. What I want to see. Are conservatives in Congress who can come up with legislation. That, instead of mandating companies to act a certain way can offer up incentives for companies. To make sure that your average American hardworking Person. Benefits from the success of that company. That's not just those top who are reaping the benefits of increased production and profits. She's literally fundraising off of all of this. And one thing I do need to mention and in this particular conversation. We're really focusing on the Republican Party here. But for Democrats just because I did mention the squad and AOC and Ellen Omar and proceeded to leave and all of them. Democrats have a real problem that they just refused to address with anti Semitism on the left. It's there. It's blatant. And they do nothing about it.
