"In twenty thirteen to mountaineers were nearing the top of Vulcan Judy Jayco a twenty two thousand foot tall volcano on the border of Chile and Argentina. When they saw something unexpected, just two thousand feet below the summit climbers spotted a mouse scurrying across the snow. It's really a remarkable citing his known expected wild mammals to be living at an elevation of over twenty thousand feet. At that elevations that the scarcity of oxygen oxygen that makes it really a challenging. Place to to survive in function. But then also just the extreme cold, it's an extremely inhospitable environment J. Starts and evolutionary biologist at the University of Nebraska. The climbers reached out to starts because he studies how animals adapt to high altitudes and he was so intrigued that he decided to make his own trip to survey the area starts and his colleagues spent a month that Jews Zhigo earlier this year where they confirmed with the climber saw they found mice everywhere including on the summit officially setting a new record for the world's highest dwelling. Mammal. Start says, the summit citing was fortuitous, his climbing partner Mario Perez, Mamani saw the mouse dive under a rock just starts made it to the top exhausted and groggy from the thin air. It took starts a minute together his wits, but he eventually managed to catch the mouse with his hands starts collected that mouse and others as museum specimens that will enable future scientific analysis. They also their encounter on video. The report is in the proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences now that he's home starts wants to understand how these mice can survive in such harsh conditions, and conversely what prevents other animals from venturing. So high clearly the the device that are living these extreme altitudes. Have physiological capacities that are very different from your typical rodent. He and his colleagues are comparing the genomes of the mice from Judea Jayco to their lowland relatives to see if they can identify the animals high altitude adaptations. He's curious whether they have evolved some of the same strategies as mice that live at high elevations, in north, America in the Himalayas. Starts also wants to know how mice are finding food on top of a barren rocky volcano thousands of feet above the highest green plants. On his next trip, he plans to analyze the stomach contents of the animals, the capture. It's really an open question to whether most species are whether they're elevation limit is set by physiological tolerance or just the lack of ecological opportunity. It's probably a combination of both whenever the answer starts suspects, there may be more high altitude animals out there than scientists thought, it's just a matter of climbing high enough to find them

"I always wondered how in the world the Catholic Church which. During, the days of Mario the pious Catholic Church was a stall wart. Organization pro. Life I. Mean there was no latitude whatsoever. There was no allowance for abortion. No matter. They might have got into Argun arguments about rape and incest, but even then the church was famous for saying, it's not the baby's fault. So a Mario, the pious or Joe Biden would show up and want community and community neighbor and they were given communion I'm say what a bunch of hypocrites these people are flouting their devout Catholics they tell us and yet when it comes to something that is of. Paramount. Catholic Virtue and belief, and that is the sanctity of life. These guys are off the reservation. And I I I never understood well, I, didn't understand it but I I always hope for something different I mean clearly the Catholic Church was afraid of people like Mario the pious they were afraid that people like Biden because these are powerful politicians they control the Federal Government Liberal Democrats they already WanNa tell everybody how to live they wanna tell everybody what they must do and they are not above exacting penalties on people if they don't do what the Democrats wanted to do so. Mario the pious and Joe Biden got away. And Mary the pious argument was I do not have. And do not think that I should be. Imposing my religious views. On people. While you impose your views on taxes and taxes are religious. You can find references to taxes throughout the. The old and new testaments. There isn't anything in life that's not discussed in the Bible. Mario the pious. Joe Biden. Davor comfortable as hell telling everybody how they must pay taxes how they must live but would it came to abortion they weren't going to impose their religious views on people. I thought that was one of the biggest cop outs. And Mario The pious gave that particular speech announcing that at Notre. Dame University. So Dingy Harry? You know little nervous. Now you can't attack is religion is. Attack Tak about gasoline doesn't wear it others levers aware should be, why can't you win the Guy Obviously? Is. Hypocritical about it now, the Cuban vote. and. Gory had a good point here. The question Biden got was, are you going to re-engage with Cuba? Administration tried their best to open up. Cuba relaxed some of the. Restrictive policies we have. "What's up everybody is you and skipping meals David Hatfield joining this week is Tina mini everybody just Davis. Scoop and friend and SAM clayborn. We've got a great show for you this week we're going to talk about. The crazy crazy crazy deal about spiderman being exclusive to playstation. In Marvel's AVENGERS WE'RE GONNA flip through the August nineteen ninety issue of video games and computer. Entertainment. But I. Really all you need to know right now is that spunky to is finally finally coming out, September fifteenth just over month away I couldn't be more excited listeners and my friends on the show have long long heard me talk about how much I love love love spunky. Maybe my favorite game of all time cheese maybe I don't know why does it need sequel? Doesn't necessarily need one, but the like I, I. You know spunky. So brilliant and they've spent so much time making the sequel like I'm really excited to see you know how do you with with this one and what? During their, how deep they're going to get maybe they'll go so that they a lava world. You, what do you want different in this game? Necessarily different but I mean just play spunky I can't believe. We're still talking about this. You don't want the game he don't own a to do extra. This is the problem is that people like you demand sequels and they should be made everything was fine. I was I was never demanding a sequel I've been excited for the sequel though it was announced we've had to edit these episodes several times to remove your demands they're getting increasingly. Violent. My demand for this game increases. If you're if you're an Egyptian prime subscriber, you dame, it's eighteen minute weekly rant on spunky to yeah they go to edit editor. Yup you can download them. Eric while you're excited for this game looks like it has more digging. Know. It's all about systems. Interacting with each other in in unexpected surprising things on your quest to reach the end of the game. So I'm just excited for all the new stuff that they're going to add to the game. Off many many different ways to unexpectedly die during a I love spunky and. I was just joking about all that before I think the cool thing about spunky is the thing I like about Mario Brothers Games where it's like. So focused on secret stuff and as people discovered all the secrets. That that probably alone gave me hope that this game would just be like just full of like crazy cool Meta difficult things to accomplish. That that's why I needed a sequel, you catch all the seeking discover all the secrets you need more secrets. To. Shoot up date. They're like we added a bunch of secret stuff. That's the patch notes like that's the patch. This passes a secret. Good candidate for guides him. It is it is although it's kind of a it's really hard to write guides for Rogue Lakes because I'm you can kind of like classify like eventually with speeding this game became really interesting spunky because. You know there was like a type of orientation of the first level that like made sense to not restart on I think. That's really cool. Right. People basically start breaking the game to figure that stuff out but otherwise, you just gotta be like. You might see a snake. Not If. You know there's there's like a shortcuts to people could take that are built into the game that aren't yet I don't break the game. Yeah. You can tell people never to pick up certain weapons and stuff like that I. Think there is a There's an element to that type of strategy guide writing, which is interesting because there's there's a there's a public out there that I know people don't don't expect this. But it's true that just read from start to finish a game skied while they play it and I did that when I when I was a kid rock Tynan skied and didn't lessen my enjoyment of the Game I. Love The indepth page by page look at all the stuff in this game aspect that guy and people like that. So that's different from like a spunky guide readers like here's some tips. Good luck. And then apparently also. The Sony State of play today it was announced at Alan wake is coming to control DLC. Correct, but we don't have more information than that. Yeah. Honestly. I had like a I haven't been able to watch state of play in its entirety myself, but it was narrated to be my friendly gears. He makes an appearance and it has been long speculated that the DNC in meant in question would be across over with Alan. Wake. So this kind of confirms it but apparently, the trailer did not divulge much more about like. Easter kind of character or is this going to be like a playable character or villain may be and I? I guess I didn't catch this while I was playing control but I suppose or maybe I don't remember but I suppose we're a lot of references to a writer. So that's why we're the relations coming

Is there a way to continue the game has a real pain to get far into it then die and have to start all over again I hope you'll be able to help me. This poor guy owns the game already. What would that be you hold down? Don't you? Select when you start the game and then you start at the world you died on or something like that. Did during. that. I have no idea. This is also a great question. Says I'd like to pose a question that is probably in the minds of many gamers who reveal games and computer entertainment. Your magazine seems to have reviews, screen shots of games months before they are out in stores how do you get your hands on these games? Do you get them from the manufacturers or other sources I was wondering if you could give me the names, addresses and phone numbers of horses so I could get in touch with them. Be Nice if you could just ask for that kind of thing and get it immediately. Heard what will hand clear on the concept of journalism magazines, technology dates like you have to come up with that question? So we by the way, I just looked it up in Mario one. If you hold down a and press start when the game ends, you continue from the world do you died on? Nice. Coup. Finally they have a inside scoop gaming. Feature. So maybe we actually Oh this magazine money for the Gamecube name all these years. Now, they're talking about how CD's are going to be the next revolution in computer gaming. Accurate. Predictions came true in this issue and that was the nine hundred ninety issue of computer games and video games and computer entertainment. which brings us to video game. That history should not repeat: Hiroshimas storytellers
"Seventy, five years ago, this week, the B twenty, nine, bomber, Nola gay dropped little boy, the world's first use of an atomic weapon. At Eight fifteen in the morning of August six Japanese time. The first atomic thumb has done enemy talk. It detonated over. Hiroshima immediately killing around one hundred and forty. Thousand People I'm was aimed to explode about zero point. In the city at the junction of. Untold River. Three days later, another stroke sake. As Japan marks the anniversary, it hopes to keep the wartime memories alive using the stories of people who survived the attacks. On all. Holland. But the average age of survivors is now over eighty three. But those. This'll be the last chance to hear from those witnesses during a major anniversary. August sixth nineteen forty five was supposed to be a day off for seventeen year old. Takeo to Toco. No Snyder is the economists Tokyo Bureau chief. She had made plans to meet two girlfriends at eight fifteen owning at a train station on the west side of Shema. She was running late, and then she stepped outside, she saw flash and heard a bang. Which you regained consciousness, she found herself lying thirty meters away a mushroom cloud rising over the city. People with charts skin peeling from their arms rushing over a nearby hillside. Mr K. Ohka left's to look for her mother. and. Found rivers filled with bodies took her six days to locate her mom who is still miraculously alive. Mom lived for another twenty two years. We stuck ohka became a prominent voice amongst the hypocrisy shower, atomic bomb survivors, atomic sufferers. Telling Her story abroad many times in hopes of preventing atomic bombs from ever being used again. I heard this tale from her daughter. He got no. Mario. Who's part of a fascinating unique project underway in both your Sima Nagasaki to help preserve the stories, of Hypoxia, for generations to come to, how does this project work? So there are still some hundred and thirty thousand living. inbox. Amiss. Gone. But their average age is now over eighty three and the number who can tell their stories publicly is declining drastically. Just. You got the fact that could have done this. So the city government's in both fishermen sake have been recruiting scores of volunteers like music Otieno to become what they call dense Shosha or legacies successors. These are essentially memory keepers, people who learned the stories of the hypoxia down to the most gruesome details in order to be able to retell them with power and veracity for years into the future do. So the volunteers in, Hiroshima, have to go through a rather rigorous course, three years of study training discussion with hypoxia before they're allowed to retell the stories in public. Ms Higashi, no is somewhat unusual in that. She inherited own story, most of the Dan Shosha, take on a stranger's burden. And it simply because that's that generation of of survivors passing that the these city governments have started this program. Yeah, it is. It's really reflective of the anxiety that many people in here, C.`mon, Nagasaki and throughout Japan feel about fading wartime memories I'm what will happen. Once this generation firsthand witnesses passes away the city governments and the peace museums. Atomic bomb museums in both cities have been collecting and recording testimony for many years. But this then social program is away, they hope to preserve these memories in living form to retain the emotional impact. The comes from searing these stories from another human being. and. So where does this fit in with the the wider of up the bombing of of the war in Japan? For Japan, the Hiroshima Experience became central to wartime memory and park has some scholars have argued because it allows victim narrative to dominate shifting the focus away from the atrocities Japanese soldiers committed abroad in Asia and the Pacific certainly oaks in China and Korea have bristled at the lack of context that some of the retailing's of the aroma and Nagasaki experiences or trey. and. If you look at Japan today, it's of course, wrestling a new with the legacy of the Second World War and its aftermath in particular the constitution that America imposed on Japan after the war, which renounces war bars Japan from maintaining armed forces. In practice, Japan does maintain a powerful military which it calls the Self Defense Forces and its Prime Minister Obey Shinzo years has hoped to change the constitution to revise the constitution in order to make explicit that Japan's military is constitutional and and perhaps to expand the limits of what they're allowed to do. Curiously, the public still supports maintaining the postwar constitution. So in short pacifism is still deep seated in today's Japan. and. What about the the the effort of auction others to to learn the lessons of the second. World War d? How does nuclear non-proliferation look at this stage from where you are. Well. This is another source for concern. Of course, non-proliferation efforts in recent years have been faltering just this January. The Bulletin of Atomic Scientists. It's doomsday clock. It's subjective measure of our proximity to self-annihilation closer to midnight than anytime since its establishment in one, thousand, nine, hundred, eighty, seven, the hawks are are pleased and take solace in the signing of the Treaty on the Prohibition of Nuclear Weapons in two, thousand, seventeen, it invokes there unacceptable suffering in its preamble and a nod to how the memory of interesting Nagasaki continues to shape non-proliferation efforts globally yet at the same time, no country with nuclear weapons has signed up to that treaty neither has Japan in fact, which shelters under America's nuclear umbrella. And, and how does that sit with Hypoxia at this stage at this anniversary being marked. I spoke with US Akihiko the governor of the prefecture, and he expressed the view that I heard from many others both your seem sake, which was a wish that Japan would use its moral authority as the only victim of atomic weapons to push harder for their abolition. The hypocrisy. Have Long gramps and spoken about abolishing the bomb before the last houses away. Just to make the do. You call. You can. That's unlikely. But the hypocrisy hope that their stories at the very least. Deter the world from ever using his weapons again. Thank you very much for your time. Thank you very much for having me.

Nintendo Release Gaps and the Nintendo Gigaleak
"Hello and welcome to Nintendo voice chat I'd Jen's Nintendo podcast this week the week of July thirtieth. Today, we'll be talking about the huge release gasoline intendo bestselling games. The NINTENDO GIG leak ends a lot more I'm your host and this week I'm joined by Friday Tato. Guy Is here to join the show. Perfect. Let's he delivering today. something I might be able to show next week actually. Okay. Cool. Awesome. Okay to do that, build it. Now, I'm thinking of what it could be. A spoiler and I'm also joined today by pair. Snyder. And Zach Ryan. Hello I didn't see their. Her. How many chapters to get through your book while waiting for me together Brooke Myers retired who was supposedly. So yeah, that's true too I. Don't know how to read it. Did you get to the part where the skeleton is link yes. Very. Can, be time. Ns. Skeleton. Mr. Historic Also, have skeletons Brian I. Not. Christ. Disagree agree to disagree that's fine we can agree to disagree. But you can't agree on is that there's nothing coming out for the rest of the year from Nintendo at least as far as we now. Agree on that. Disagree. Last week we got a mini direct, but we still don't know anything that is coming from Nintendo specifically for the rest of this year pair went ahead and put together a really awesome lists. You might of seen it if you follow his twitter about. that. We haven't seen in wild that might be coming I. Say my I mean, this is super speculative. We really don't know but I thought it'd be interesting to go over this list of games to see how many years it's been since we've gotten a new installment of games. Probably. Doesn't say that we're the ones. It's been the longest since we've seen but maybe Now see that's what I was trying to get a I was trying to figure out. All right. Is there a certain cadence and I haven't done this in the past to look at whether there's a certain cadence when intendo renews these Games they there is right Nintendo in order to keep keep the franchises going they. They send life signs out but that doesn't necessarily mean a new installment in May, mean a character inclusion in smash or you know like putting NFC or track in Nintendo land stuff like that. So I don't I don't know how helpful it is to to actually predict what is going to come out and what will come out because like at first I was like. The Games that sell the most are the games that Nintendo puts on a schedule to be renewed at least every four years, and then you go while hold on his animal crossing sold forty million or something at the series, and we have to wait eight years eight years animals. New Leaf right right. But they did have a mobile released. So you know they kind of unhappy designer everyone loved happy. Home Design. Side. So happy home designer. Dave count. Twenty thirteen. They count in the way that they're both animal crossing products. That's definitely fall under the same umbrella. Look. Do. You want to talk about the ones that haven't been renewed in a long time or you know maybe our guest is like I. Think Everybody here has the list in front of them but like our guesses what we think will be revisited next. Yes. Yes, let let's really quickly recap in the last five years. We've gotten paper. Mario Animal. Crossing we've gotten to poke them on like we always get new pok months, Yoshi Lewis Mansion, fire emblem, and some of these like had big gaps. It had been kind of a year since we had another Louisi- mansion it had been. There all been short, really short gaps between these games like Mario and Zelda and Mario Party like they're not long gaps within the games that we haven't seen in the past ten years. They always have really long gaps. It seems. Yeah, I mean the nets Roy yeah. There's a lot of metro happening though you know there was there was a brief period there with with prime. Prime two prime three. Metro Fusion Metro Observer Mission. The Ball Three D. S. and. There's a lot of metro I feel like in a very short timeframe, and then now it's just been forever since we've seen a metro. A new one right we got Simmons returns overseas so. We're looking at kind of they are shortening the gap between with remakes and that's what happened with link's awakening obviously to right we got link's awakening to take the spot in between you know the mixed breath of the wild, the last one, and certainly that happened with metro to with Simas returns and the other game that shall not be named.

"On. Mario? You're on Mario Lopez joining me now and zoom from the office actor. Brian Baumgartner. Welcome back to the show man Nice to see a reo. It's great to see you. Now you were supposed to do this with Ben. Silverman. One of the. Producers of the show who is also doing the podcast with you correct. That's right. So Go ahead. No say so so is this based on the podcast is going to work sometimes you'll get banned sometimes he'll consistently get. Brian. Consistently. Get me yes I. Show up every day as I have for fifteen years but yes, occasionally he'll pop in. Now, he he had the idea and went to spotify about you know there's been a lot talked about written about the office and he wanted us to tell our story, and so he approached me about partnering with them and executive producing with them an oral history of the office. So going back. And when he asked me to partner I was like I dunno, I started thinking about. We haven't found the show in seven years. The last seen that we filmed was seven years ago yet today. It is the most watched show in television isn't that amazing seven years after we finished and so I just had this idea and wanted to explore why like why is this show still resonating and specifically why are eleven year olds twelve year olds thirteen like why is this new audience coming in and why is it cool? Why am I in a Billy Irish sought You know I I saw my fifteen year old nephew with an office t-shirt. The other day I'm like how what? I'd heard any loves it and he was going on but you're right. It's incredibly fascinating and God bless streaming for. For that. Why would why do you think that is if you had to sum it up well I mean we come up with a bunch of theories and I go back. Can I talk to everyone I assembled over one hundred hours of of personal interviews so And Talk to everybody I mean Steve Carell who hasn't really talked about the show since he left now years ago, sat down with me for a number of hours and we talked about it and I think there's a lot of reasons one that never really occurred to me specifically about why it's attractive young kids when we were on right and we. Were struggling. That's the other thing. We tell the story that we were almost dead after six episodes, and then after twelve, we were definitely debt I mean Angela Kinsey tells the story of taking the name plate off of her trailer. 'cause it was we were we were done and we there was an idea I don't remember the number, but it was like. Oh if they're two hundred million people who work in offices in the United States. So if a percentage of them like the show, then we're set but I think what we didn't realize was the attraction of the show to young people I, think one of the reasons is. That the office. is a mirror in some ways to the experience of school you're sitting in class haven't unreasonable boss slash teacher that makes you do unreasonable things at times rules that don't. Don't make any sense..

Confirmed and rumored Xbox Series X games
"Yesterday. We watched a conference from Microsoft. The xbox series acts so tell us a little bit about that. Yeah, it was kind of their first big showcase for game. Specifically, some people really want them to talk about like price a release stay. There was no mention of the much rumored cheaper. That our colleague Tom has reported on quite a bit It was just entirely focused on games. Coming to the series Ax and other xbox platforms of which there are many okay, here's the thing I actually really prefer that because for me. Any reason to buy a console is going to be the games coming to it so whenever they do events like this where they're just like here is like twenty things that you'll wanna buy. That's mostly for me there specifically making it for me, thank you, Microsoft. And they had a lot of specifically like their first party. South Microsoft studios stuff. They were showing off with Halo. Kind of key component. Yeah, definitely doesn't I. Can console without a new halo. h-a-l-o is pretty, and it looks big, and can you tell that I'm not a halo player I don't know. Do you mess around with it much? I'm not super huge on it and I mean I think it looks like a halo game. It sounds like they're doing some interesting stuff. They said there's not going to be sequels. So at some kind of service gain that will keep being updated, but it's not really clear how that's GonNa work by me. It looks like a big showcase halo game, so there's that. We have confirmed is a game so for me. Personally, one of the most exciting reveals didn't happen until the very end, and it was like a barebones reveal. Fable, which we haven't gotten a new one since. Twenty ten was when three came out because they've done a couple. Lay off shoot, weird little things, but nothing like a full game, so was being made by playground games, which is kind of a weird option because they work on the series, it's still really unclear like what exactly this new game will be there. Just calling it fable right now, which is definitely not confusing at all the at minor. Minor standing. Is that playground actually been hiring a bunch of people who've worked on some more triple A. Open World Games, so it seems like they've been staffing up for this, but even still it's not a studio that's known for this kind of game. Obviously so It's hard to to get much from knowing. They're working on it and such kind of a brief tea's like they showed. I mean the good news is. There's also of course going to be on its own. We also saw out from city. We've got a couple other interesting games. was there anything that stuck out to you? Specifically? So the the game that looked most interesting to me was a actually reveal during the Jeff Kelly's pre show. We Love Jeff for victims of Jeffrey, Moore of course, and it's from Eugene who's best known as the dude behind sonic. The hedgehog hauled has a very strange thing Balan. Wonder World, and it just kind of looks like screen a bunch money to make a wild nights into dreams spiritual successor some very into that I. don't actually know what that means. What does that mean for people like me? Who never played that Super Mario Odyssey but very very strange. I appreciate your pronunciation Mario. You have a very good spin on that. The Canadian accent other than that another game that really stuck out to me. That I'm personally excited about is. Don't tell me why, so they of course their the life is strange series, and this one looks kind of along the same lines, but outside of that actual series, so it's going to be episodic. It's a little bit confusing. Because originally, the dead said they were GONNA release all three at once, and then in the announced yesterday. It said that I can't remember exactly how they phrased it, but it made. It seem like. Maybe just the first one was coming next. Next month, but basically it's about American teens. Alaskan teens are kind of struggling with their past. On the big thing about this is that one of their main characters is trans? We'll delve heavily into his background in some of his I. Guess like emotional things growing up, so it's very interesting with games like this. There's always quite a bit of opportunity for them to get this wrong, but so far not has had an interesting approach. They put up an Faq. They've been trying to think handle this as well as they can. But I guess we'll see how it actually pans out. I mean I'm excited for anything. They make pretty much, so yeah. I really loved it. This French studio is so invested in telling American American stories. That, capture that that feeling that we have here if nothing else, I hope it gets more people to play strange to which I don't think enough people did my God. Yeah, you're totally right, so another one is remedies new game that really stuck out to me and curious what your thoughts are at. Actually had the chance to kind of talk with some of the folks that remedy before the showcase, and it's kind of a weird one. So it's called crossfire x, and it's actually like this hugely popular Korean online shooter from the studio called Smell, gate and like five years ago, they came up to remedy and we're like hey, do you want to make a single player component it and that's what they're doing, so it seems kind of like a weird collaboration, but what I saw is really cool. It's like a military shooter, but has like the weird remedy. NECE that you'd expect almost has like some Kajima vibes to it, so I'm very. Very curious to check that out when it's finally ready to play, which is supposed to be some point this year, but not sure what

Like Patient trophy for you to add at the end there. No. My expectations were low and they were met. This was not meant to be like a big reveal. This was meant to be literally what they said which is, we have other people who work on smaller projects or they're finishing games already announced and talked about. We're going to let them talk about it a little more. Maybe show you a little bit more. Everyone freaked out because that's what they do. Nintendo Direct Mini: What We Learned from the Partner Showcase
"Nintendo surprised everyone late last night by announcing that it would be airing a Nintendo direct mini partner showcase early this morning. The surprise announcement last night read on July twentieth. We'll debut the first Nintendo direct mini partner showcase a series focused on titles from our development and publishing partners will share a few updates on a small group of previously announced Hashtag. Nintendo switch games? The quick window between the announcement of the thing and airing the thing. And specifically pointing out that it would only cover previously announced games lowered my expectations to the floor, but there were at least a few surprises. Here's what they shared. I the direct started with a cove in nineteen disclaimer, saying basically that the future is uncertain, and everything could change including release dates, but then they made their first announcement with was planned DLC for a game whose full title is cadence of high rule crypt of the neck, dancer, featuring the legend of Zelda. The game released last year, but it will get three new DLC packs, which will release through October. The first pack adds new characters to the game. IMPA shadow link and Shadow Zelda and then characters named Aria and Frederick who I believe our original characters. I fancy myself a bit of his elda. Didn't immediately recognize those characters D second pack will add thirty nine new songs to the game. The third pack, which seems the most substantial Ed's a whole new story with new songs where you can play as skulk the tags from yours mask who can change masks to adopt new abilities? The character pack is available today in the other packs will be available later with all the pacts eventually coming out by October, and then the game will also receive a physical release with all the DLC bundled in one box on October twenty third. I played and beat cadence of Jairo Crypto the neck road answer featuring diligent of Zelda, but ultimately liked the soundtrack a lot more than I liked the actual game. I would go so far as to say I love the soundtrack, so I am excited to hear all the new songs. I don't know that I am really eager to actually play the game more, but I am also such as Zelda soccer that I probably will. The next two announcements weren't really announcements so much. The Game Rogue Company was shown which looks like a pretty. Pretty unspectacular third person online shooter with cyberpunk sort of theme. It didn't look bad by any means that it just didn't do much to stand out. Same goes for the next game. WWE TO CAPE battlegrounds. There was some new gameplay and we saw some wrestlers who were likely well compensated to show how excited they were about the game. They were playing, but there wasn't much. That had not already been shared the mini, direct and strong, though with two big atlas announcements. Shimagami ten say one, which was basically Shimagami Tennessee, three and Japan. Is Getting remastered for release on switch next year. I would love some help here in the form of a correction because I find the Shin Montgomery ten say series to be pretty confusing as it has all devolved into different spinoffs like persona, which itself has all kinds of spin offs. I was always under the impression that knocked turn was spinoff as well, but I guess it is part of the mainline series, and this rerelease will have the number three in the title, even though it did not have a three in its North American title when it originally released in two thousand four. In any case you know where it belongs in the Shin, Mugabe cannon really isn't. All that portent the important thing is that it is generally considered to be one of the best, if not the Best Shimagami, ten say game that isn't called Persona and it's actually the entry that I play the most. It has some MON elements to it with demon collecting, and when it originally released, it featured Dante from devil may cry. Suggest character which is a cool idea. I'm curious if the rerelease will keep that Dante Cameo. It also just has a great art style to it and I'm happy to see it getting a visual overhaul for the switch release. It is coming spring twenty twenty one after that a trailer was shown for Shimagami ten. Say Five a game we have known about since two thousand seventeen, but this was the first in some time. The trailer didn't reveal much. A teenager looks like they're given some kind of demonic choice and I don't know that they make the right one. The game is coming in twenty twenty one, but the trailer didn't anymore specifics than that. I had low expectations going into this thing and they were mostly met, but I was surprised by the nocturnal announcement. That was very cool. The Internet seems generally annoyed that Nintendo has not made any big summer announcements and that with paper Mario Animal Crossing having been released. It really doesn't seem like they have any big games for the rest of the year. which is true, but the weird thing is. Is I. Don't know that it really matters to Nintendo. Twenty twenty can kind of just be a low key year for them. Because animal crossing was just that big of a hit. It feels like they are in no rush to push anything out. Because everyone is just going to keep buying animal crossing anyway, they can barely keep up with demand for the switch consoles as it is. Now with all that being said though I think Nintendo kind sees the cancellation of e three as a blessing in terms of how it likes to announce Games paper Mario was announced and released within a few months. And I think that's how Nintendo would always prefer to do it. Keep the window between announcement and release small, but e three kind of forces them to make these big proclamation announcements all piled up on top of each other and share things many months before the popular November release window with E. Three out of the way though I think Nintendo is taking advantage and will make individual announcements for games. Just shortly before they actually release. There is that rumored Super Mario collection that will gather a bunch of three D Mario Games maybe nintendo will detail it in a dedicated direct, and then release it within a month, or so closer to November, and maybe in the unlikely scenario that breath of the wild to is coming this year. They will do the same thing. have a focused dedicated direct for the game, and then it will come out shortly after or maybe as I alluded to earlier, Nintendo will just look at animal crossings absurd sales. Do a round of socially distant high fives, and just push everything in originally had planned for twenty twenty into twenty twenty one.

Paper Mario: The Origami King reviews are online
"Paper, Mario! The Origami King reviews are online and it's reviewing pretty well. It is currently sitting at an eighty four on metacritic at the time of this writing, which is the exact same metacritic review score as ghost of Suma. Those games really couldn't be more different, but they're going head to head this week because they share a release date comic book, Dot Megan Peters gave the game, perhaps its most positive review, giving it a five out of five, and wrote while the Origami Canfield formulaic at times. Times. This entry does more to re imagine the franchise the not it won't impress fans who were hoping for a larger RPG focus, but it's charming characters and story will fans hooked paper Mario has never felt so fun than with the Origami King and it's lighthearted. Feel is the perfect thing for Gamers to sit with this. Summer Sam Leverage from Games radar gave the game a four point five out of five, and wrote the latest paper Mario. Title is a joy to exist in an excellent. Excellent story, charming characters, and the ability to team up with your oldest foes makes the Origami, King a triumph? Yes, it may not be the new thousand year door RPG, but it's something special. That should be celebrated into the show and genuine personal friend Cereal Vasquez wrote a review for Gamespot gave the game an eight and wrote with a newfound combat system that steals the show offers a novel take on turn based combat. It's winking nodding. Adventuring shines brighter. Its world and characters might not be. Be The series best, but it's able to consistently throw left turns good gags and smart surprises at you. Each piece of the Origami King elegantly fits into its whole, taking its irreverent flair to new heights. The paper Mario Series has recently shown that being clever and being smart or two different things, but thankfully it's once again managed to both feel free to direct all your compliments on my flawless surreal impression to the gaming ride home, twitter account another friend of mine game informer's Ben Reeves is. Recently the new host of the game informer show podcast. Go listen to that gave the game a seven point seven five, and wrote as a series paper Mario consistently explores new concepts and mechanics, which is exciting, but it comes with plenty of risks. Origami kings biggest chances don't pay off a satisfying way. I enjoyed Mario's hijinks, and all the misfits he encounters, but the new ring based Action Needs Refinement I hope paper. Mario's next twist on combat can rise to the same level as it's humor. There you go. Kyle did what you asked now. Please time my family. Let them go, please. What else do you want ideas? Cam Shea expressed some similar disappointments, but still had positive things to say about the game, giving a seven and writing the Origami King is a truly likable game, despite the shallowness of its new spin. On gameplay, it's characters are winsome. It's visual design is gorgeous. It's world is fun to explore. Explore and it storytelling is outside the box and playful at the same time. However, it could be so much more. Combat is largely unfulfilling, and your journey as a whole lacks meaningful choices for a series with RPG routes. That's a real shame. EGM's Michael Gaurav shared one of the more negative reviews for the game giving it a three out of five and writing despite everything paper Mario the Origami King is A. A charming game I wanted to fully explore every area of the mushroom kingdom I wanted to find every towed. I wanted to do everything except actually engage with the game's combat system in trying to write basic rules with every outing. Intelligent systems keeps fans of the franchise on its toes, but that can also start to distort the identity of the series itself. How can you perfect a formula if you're constantly pouring out? Out and starting again by the way from the time I started putting this segment together and up to now sitting in my recording booth and recording it. The metacritic score has actually dropped down to an eighty one

"In two thousand fourteen, a woman was pulled over by Myrtle beach police in Myrtle beach South Carolina. The woman was black and the police said they pulled over because of a tail light. They found a small amount of marijuana in her car and she was given the option to avoid charges if she told them where she got marijuana. As one officer later put it, she was asked quote who she knows. She, says she did know someone, but she didn't know his full name. She only knew him as Jules. My name is Julian bitten and right now. I'm in a Conway South Carolina. The police drove the woman to Julian Buttons apartment. They wired her with a hidden video camera and audio recorder, and then they gave her a hundred dollars and told her ass. Julian button to sell her marijuana. Julian is black and in two thousand fifteen. He was thirty years old. It was a friend of Mario de time girlfriend it was. She had some problems after father who died, so she had a medical discharge from the military. And she had asked me for some and I gave her some in first, and they told her to come back and buy from me, so that's what she did. The woman came out with what police recorded as approximately seven grams of marijuana. She'd done what the officers asked her to do, but something had gone wrong with the video recording. So they waited a few weeks, gave her hundred more dollars and drove her back to Julian Ben's house. What I didn't expect her to come back and buy. That was kind of strange that she came back and wanted to buy was like okay. We'll hear what that's not naming. are this ain't something is going become a habit? She would for her because I knew her situation I don't know I think I think she was pretty much more scared than anything when police stopped. If, they if she didn't give some if she didn't give a person gave. It's award that she was going to go to jail and Louis, her military benefits. On the second visit. The woman bought approximately eight grams. And there a video recording. This gave officers from the Fifteenth Circuit Drug Enforcement Unit probable cause to get a search warrant for Julian Ben's apartment. The Fifteenth Circuit Drug, enforcement. Unit pulls together. Officers for multiple police departments across Ori- and Georgetown counties in South Carolina. It stated intention is to create a multi jurisdictional multi-agency task force to address major drug enterprises. When you look at the operational plan, the Drug Enforcement Unit created for their search of Julian Buttons apartment. The first thing you see is their insignia. Large drawing of a skull and crossbones in front of a marijuana leaf. There's also a sword and a lightning bolt. Underneath that her a sort of motto. Serving Our community. One dealer at a time. I'm phoebe judge. This is criminal. Julian vet lived in a building with four apartments in Myrtle beach. On April sixteenth two thousand fifteen. Just before three o'clock in the afternoon, his next door neighbor Santos Garcia was outside working on his moped. Julie Ben was inside playing video games. Julian pause the game to go to the bathroom. And upon coming out of my bathroom, I hear, allow bone and I'm thinking my name upstairs. Neighborhood dropped something. That's all heard. Was it would okay? What are you doing? Upstairs was kind of a thought, but as I'm looking up getting ready to say that my aparicio's se objects coming at me in my living room. So, I'm trying to process de step back and reach for my gun because it was terrifying with the hell. Is this and I mean it was just a reflex. Be Reaching for my first first thing defense. Did you hear a knock debate. Announce themselves. No no, not at all. No. The next door neighbor cintos Garcia said that he'd been standing there and all of a sudden several cars appeared. He, said quote. A white car pulled up into my front yard. Right in front of me. One of the men who got out of it pointed a rifle directly at me. I was told to get down and I immediately did. I was five feet from Julian's front porch and door. Without stopping several of the men who had just arrived immediately went up into Julian's front porch and bastion his door. None of the men announced that they were police. no-one knocked on his door. No one waited any period of time for him to come to the door. And then Santos. Garcia said within two seconds of the men bashing Julian's door. I heard multiple gunshots that sounded like automatic weapons.

They are some of the best athletes I've ever seen. Parker experts. We have some cross fit legends. We have everything in between, and they make some of these obstacle courses look like nod, and it's incredible. Not for nothing, but I think I would be a hell of a tagger I must say I'm serious. "With Mario Lopez Memorial Lopez. Let's get to the hotline joining me on. The phone is the astronaut from the mass singer. Hunter Hey how are you man? I'm you I'm well buddy. Thanks have you been holding up during this whole quarantine taking one day. The current man. That's all that's all we can do. We're you know counting counting the counter. Blessings and praying everybody and Just kind of here's the time to work on work on the new record there you go be be productive with that time But talk a little mass singer. What was the significance of the astronaut? Costumed it did. You have a role in choosing that I. I was lucky I got to. I got to choose between and how always talk about flying. I look wanting I'm not a pilot yet but I WANNA be And always talk about how music gives me the feeling of flying You know it's it's a sense of weightlessness in it and it can transport you places right and so between that and My last album was about was kind of talking about the same thing. It's called wild blue and it's about freedom it's about moving on and shedding weight and feeling weightless and then part two of that album which were working on now is all about the unknown the adventure of it all and and I feel like astronaut perfectly It just perfectly sums up both of those concepts and and made me feel like It it helped me explain myself to the world. I guess is the best way to. It's a lot of thought going into that costume. Good for you significant on your choices were pretty pop. Heavy right one direction in Sangla Sharon is that. Is that what you listen to? On the regular. Yeah well I think I wanted I wanted to see More of what? I what I love you know I I I. I'm a study of all kinds of music. I love you know a lot of different things and I really wanted my song choices. The reflects at for the world to know kind of what what inspires me and what moves me and the kind of stuff that I try to to to infuse into my music and and all the things that that Yet that move me I wanted to. I wanted to sort of tap into those things and and and tell my musical story. The A lot of my influences everything from St wondered to You know to to add cheer into you know to wonder action and all kind of all over the place. There you go. Yeah keep it Diverse and you showed some pretty decent dance moves to. You'RE GONNA be bringing those two your live shows I try. I don't know how I I I'm pretty I don't know it's GonNa take a lot of right. That was one thing that I really wanted to. That's one area that really wanted to grow in on this show. I specifically asked for a lot of choreography because it felt like. It's something that you know. I like moving on stage. But I've never been trained. Never had choreography lessons or anything like that and and this was very quick but nonetheless I felt like this was a good way to kind of at least be comfortable in my own skin. Dancing on stage a little bit and and getting into it and I think it worked. We'll see we'll see if it translates you know we'll see now five singers left. Who if you were betting man would you say is take turtle I'm a? I'm his biggest fan. Even though we were we were put against each other and a lot of competitions. I think I think that's what kind of allowed me to really really Get to know. Just yeah the level of talent there. I mean there's just so much and I'm I'm rooting for him. And who do you think the turtle is if you had to guess? Oh I don't know I have no idea I do I think I do. I'm GONNA pretend that I don't know you're that sure of your answer being correct that you don't even to get it out loud. Yeah I know it sounds super because you don't know right you still don't even though you once you're off the show. It's not like you're able to find out who everyone else is. Correct man it it the the show top secret when I tell you know. I know because we've interviewed a lot of the so then. That's why I want to know if you're if you want you to say your answer so that way it turns out your true later on. We could say we'll hundred called it it at mood the mood. I'm GONNA stay put. I'm GonNa stay right where I am now. 'cause you're not even allowed to guests during interviews his out of thing. How not necessarily that as much as just I because of the structure the show like we. We actually don't get to see a lot of other performances Or hear a lot of the other performers we actually I mean the first time I see my performances is by the wind. Everybody else sees it so kind of like being A kind of like guessing along with everybody else I love. I love getting to experience it from you. Know from the Audience Perspective Fair Enough Fair enough. You've got this new album in the works. Red Sky talked to me about that. Yeah I mean started were while blue left off and Part one was was about moving on and removing filters and and I wrote about a lot of things I've written about. I started exploring a lot of sounds that I hadn't really allowed myself to explore for a long time and it was so freeing and so moving personally to to make record and it was one of those records I started out Honestly a bit frustrated and what I did was I said. I'M GONNA make a record as if no one's watching as a business doesn't doesn't know what I'm doing. I'm literally just kind of disappear and make a record and And while blue happened you know one song of the time when we put out the first song year God it was the one on. I didn't think anybody would let me put out and it was it to this day. It's been the most successful and I think it taught me a very valuable lesson And that is. The removal of cultures is a good thing when it comes to you know art music and expression so I I've taken that further. Essentially you know if wild blue kind of dreaming about moving on and dreaming about leaving some things behind red skies when you sort of get in the car and and start driving you know there's so much attitude and there's so much Just Free Spirit on this album that I couldn't have craft that I couldn't have just come up with. I had to kind of live it and and just captured the best. I could you know and I know you've done some stay at home performances during this time. I got imagine it's pretty intimate and you're able to connect with fans virtually and it's Kinda Fun Right. I I I think this is a time for is if there's a silver lining in all of this craziness I think As somebody who loves to make music and create music. I'm I'm inspired by people right now and a lot of people doing really cool things and I think the level of authenticity now has has risen to a point where there's a new bar which makes me really happy It because I think I think in order to fall in love with someone's music I think you have to understand them and I think because of the sort of intimacy of you know living room concerts and things like that. I told we're getting I think that's the new. That's kind of the new standard. Know if you want to you know submit your your music for the world to hear I think now there's a chance for them to get to know you as well as they can get to know the music and I think it's beautiful and I think you know we have an opportunity now as well to look at what else. What other ways can we create a musical experience? You know we we. It's until it's safe for fans to concerts and gathering large groups you know. I think there's so many different ways to to make experiences to give people a place to unite and but safely had a distance and and And do different things and give give people different sort of online versions of concerts and and I think it's just a whole. I think there's a lot of untapped potential in in that world and I think we're all kind of finding our own ways doing it. Yeah and you you can find out. Who's a real singer or not because they can't use you know all the bells and whistles and hide behind the engineers in studio so that's kind of cool you your personal exactly exactly. Well congrats on everything man. The Massingir tonight on Fox hundred. Thank you so much calling in with Mario Lopez..

"You've never played it obviously it's the follow up to the smash it for the original nintendo Super Mario Brothers but this game has an interesting backstory. Keith how much of this are you aware of very little okay. So here's what happens in terms of the the Production from Mario Brothers to Super Mario Brothers two. Oh is this went okay. Talking about this is a never mind. Go there's a ton So Super Mario Brothers comes out in Japan and then later in North America. And it's a huge fucking success. It's the kind of thing where it's like we obviously need a sequel right off the bat. So nintendo in Japan starts creating Super Mario Brothers to and what they make is essentially the same exact game as the original super. Mario Brothers the same exact animation the level designs all there. But it's way fucking harder. There are mushrooms are poisonous if you get them instead of making you beg. They hurt you. The enemies are faster. There's more of them. The levels are just more challenged. It feels like somebody got a hold of Mario Maker. Current Day. They needed to bail on it. Well it's not that they bailed on it. It's that they released it in Japan and everybody was like this is great. This is a fun follow up. Were excited about this. And it sold well for the FAMICOM but they sent over to be tested in the US and their first test or who. They nintendo trusted with all their product sums. Big Big big big big stone this game we give Tony again the play. What are they all sound? Like this guy because it's in New York Babe it's not and so they give it to big thumbs Donnie. And he's playing the game and he's like this game is punishing. It's not fun. It feels like instead of rewarding me for buying it. I'm being punished like I'm you're trying to get me not to play it like you've given me all the meatball sub and unlike our am. I being rewarded trying to punish me. I don't understand this character. I don't know why he's in the story big thumbs. Tony is very clearly. Like a b-list sopranos character who God anything the Soprano Candle. The only person that's them are like yeah. I'm a I'm a stereotype. All right yeah. I think you can tell how deepened in that show. You are by whether you pronounce it. Sopranos or Sopranos Plan. I mean he's he's trying to run a guy over on a golf course. Hey that's me running guy over and that's not the sopranos have you just YouTube. Sopranos seems to be like Tony. Shoots this guy. Chris shoots this Guy Chris. Toni shoot this Guy Mugs. Like what is this is. There's GonNa be a lot talion talk in this Japanese game. There really is so they play test the game. The game isn't fun. It's way too challenging. Which would be okay except that. There's been a huge video game market collapse recently in the US. It didn't affect Japan and went when Atari had et. Come out and everybody was like. Oh even flooding the market with these terrible games. That was a North American market So in Japan it was okay that this looked the same. Felt way more difficult like if you played those original games. There were weather conditions. You had to fend off. There were were tunnels that would take you backwards in the game trap. You gotta go the beginning of the game. Fuck you like. There's also unfair if that when it released on the FAMICOM. Everyone Japan was like. This is cool. This is challenging. We're into it but if that had been released in the US they're gonNA think. This is a huge money. Grab they're gonNA fucking hate US and there we're GONNA lose their trust for this entire franchise so the scrap that game it gets released in the FAMICOM. Japan never gets released in the US but in Japan. There's this big festival. That's like this This network is announcing all of its new. Tv shows movies and sometimes video games like we could partner with Nintendo and we could make a partner game with them. That'd be huge wicked debut the first ever game you know for the FAMICOM and so they take the idea of this of this Middle Eastern family where they're going set of left to right in the screen they're going bottom to top so climbing things. That's a huge part of game like the first ever again and say. Oh we're going to ascend instead of just traveling across the screen. We're GONNA have four different characters. They're basically the same but they have slightly different attributes. They make this game and it does well. It sells in Japan dokie. Dokie panic and so- Nintendo's like all right well we still need something for the next Mario so they get a hold of. Dokie dokie panic and they're like okay. Well the festival on the network own the rights to the characters but because Nintendo has been working on the game play they own the right to the actual software and the hardware so if we wanted we could add skins from our Mario characters. Put them onto these characters and just create the game that way and so they start changing little things right so instead of like a big heart to restore life now you can find the mushroom and the game instead of obviously the mother. The father the son and the daughter of this Of this Arabic family you now have Luigi. Mario Princess Peach and toad and they all have the exact same attributes and now you have differentiation between Mario Luigi for the first time right because when the game started she just been we've all been scammed. We've all been scammed. This isn't a Mario Game. It's Dokie dokie panic with a new skin added and a bunch of other things taken from the Mario Universe and put on top of the game. But it's a crazy thing because it's the first time ever that. Luigi is differentiated. Yeah he's suddenly taller and has a higher jump. You know you know we get a princess peach. The first time she's ever a playable character the first one toews ever playable character and they all have different attributes. Peach can like fly and Hover. Which is a new thing. Toge jumps her week but he's really strong. So you start to develop all of these different attributes that then go on to become Mario Cannon but this game comes out. It sells really well. People are real into it. But they're like Oh. It's a huge departure. There's no bowser you can't jump on people and then you know you can play as any of the four and then Mario three comes out and it's right back to the original recipe. Everyone's like wait. What the fuck was this so in the end? I just WanNa talk. Continue to do it. I want to say Sunday. Nothing go ahead as some things. Now go for don't have to. They don't don't don't video game related. Keep telling your story just talk. I was I was just gonNA blow up this. Who's favorite game is this? I like it. I just said WHO's favorite. I didn't say it was the worst game in the world. No it's the worst game in the world come on now. It's it's it's I watched it and It's Hilarious to me. Because you're like if they don't go left to right where did they go up and down and it's legal left right. We'll go after I just takes. Yeah longer yeah like. That's kind of like the vibe of it and so you clearly like Oh. This isn't a Mario Game. Yeah 'cause they ever do this shit anywhere anywhere else. So people liked it. A lot of people didn't like it or it was like a back and forth Japan. Probably were like this is no. It's it's a well respected game and it's a very high selling game for both Nintendo of Japan. Well so what? Critics like purist are upset about it. I think that. In retrospect when people realize that they weren't given the other game they're like. Oh this makes sense. You guys just skinned a different game. Because what happens is north. America only realizes the market in general only realizes that they didn't get the original Mario to when Super Nintendo releases an anthropology of Mario and you can play all the games and suddenly on the anthology is the loss levels. The loss levels are the original. Mario to yeah and so I I'm they get to see it and they're like oh because it's you know it's now Super Nintendo so the update the graphics look like the Super Nintendo Mario. It looks great it. It's challenging but they're like this is so cool. Why don't we ever get this? I'm just trying to point out and again like to me it? It almost doesn't matter. Let's say we make Halo and GAC right. Everyone loves it. Fears and shooter Great Fun then they come out halo two and it started out and they're like it's a great. It's a Great Halo. Game is not the same gay. Yeah but we didn't alternate dimension Your Star and it's clearly too so fucking weird it's just so it's like not an angry thing it's kind of like that's not your game. Oh it's not we should. You should almost like it's a thing. Americans might have it. It might be Japanese people as well. But if you literally just go put something comfortable and we just changed the care. 'cause I bet if there's just okeydokey prop people probably wouldn't have bought it. People in Japan loved okay. But I'm talking about in America. It's not Mario and a Mario Game. You know what I mean so that like. Let's just put the skin over it. They won't yeah fucking different. There's so much of this game. That is a hold over from what it was in Japan because this is for festival this was a game made to celebrate a festival and a big part of the festival was masks. And they're all sorts of masks in the game so then they went the total opposite for Super Mario. Three though I K- know more things are bad. Everything is good. There just leaned into what they want to do in the first place because is that when they stopped doing or other games that are like relentlessly mean to Nintendo player's. She has no of Anne. And what do you mean Nintendo hard games? What do you mean like games that are just like unforgivingly difficult now? I'm talking about like Mario Games. They're clearly like family friendly because they can't be mean to you. Everything has to be if you failed. It has to be like a conscious effort. Probably the only one that to me isn't like Mario was like almost Christian but he's not are we. Can we all be opening wholesome? He's very wholesome is like nothing except for the fact that it's about kidnapping a woman in two like gross just as gross disgusting huge turtle thing we are doing when we don't see him doing honestly probably failing to deal with trauma if his behaviors indication. I picture in the newest Mario Game Odyssey when he's flying away from Rei. Mario. We're flying away and you just keep staring out that window. Yeah for like twenty minutes and we're just quiet watch them just be so quiet just twenty minutes of silence and finally one of the shy guys just goes we.

"A gun ever mario has fireballs every once in a while mario jumps mario can step on you they did have flame throwers at a certain point that i thought might have been if you squint a reference to his fire right how do you win the game super mario brothers what is the final screen you essentially jump over kupa oh you just jump in essentially right on that bridge her bows or i guess is who you jump over the ads bow visor is the main boss you jump over him yet hit the switch the bridge goes out from under him he falls into lava and you win the princess princess toadstools are reunited after eight levels of your princes in another castle okay so getting amanda lava or turning him into gu i guess they were trying to find a way there i don't think so i just don't think they cared enough about the game to tie it in beyond a couple of names in a couple of weird references of these the only thing they got right was the weapons because not only do they have the bombs but also their guns have bullets that look like the bullets that you'd have to jump over that of little faces on roman things the design department played the game but the directors never did yeah i mean the bullet bill look just like you know from the game i guess i just wish her is a little bit more that in this otherwise hectic production i see a little bit of back in the future though here at the end stinger we have the prince's coming back i christopher lloyd it's supposed to be a sad goodbye that luigi can't stay we've already kind of laughter in the plot summary that there's really no reason why they need to go back your brooklyn nor is it that hard for heard opened the door anytime she should choose and go to see them it's a long distance romance but nothing has to come to the end but she comes barging into their house three weeks later looking like doc from the future to say we're off to another adventure no you're not no that's not on the bright side were not covering super mario brothers through next week.

"So they're thinking big picture they're not concerned with following any i don't want to call it a story line we all know that video games there are a blueprint to a story line but they in and of themselves except for the cut scenes in between really don't tell a story so much as advanced level by level was nintendo not giving them any notes about what they want an mario to do nintendo didn't give a damn how can you imagine that it in this day and age any company signing over their most popular character and say and do whatever you want hollywood they were so focused on the super nintendo launch and super mario world and they said you go do what you want with your silly movie we're going to focus on the game set must be why there's no tie in movie usually when there was a movie connected with any kind of videogame round there would be super mario brothers the movie the game you know why they would make a game that could follow whatever okay so you want to do a mad max chasing the desert will make a video game that follow does that story line but this thing did not have any video games support that i know are there were no games at all there were action figures really yes now i did not know about this till i saw john leguizamo on the twenty of the anniversary recorded something for that website i mentioned and he's like well at least i got an action figure out of it held of bigger than i hit youtube there's a commercial they made a mario they made a luigi they made a king kupa they made the gloom bus fisher stevens got out actionfigure of course said they did the casting they decided to go with bob hoskins who your casting to look he actually looks it but it's kind of weird that you have a hispanic and obrid playing brothers from new york adoptive they tried a bright that in there that i don't think that their biological bloodline brothers mario mario and luigi mario but this thing when to hell pretty.

"Like a plumber so the first dedicated mario game mario brothers not super just mario brothers they decided well if he's a plumber will put them underground to do something with pipes and so we played this you hadn't played it before now the original non super mario brothers which i concur it's very non super when you play the original game with luigi and mario running around pipes try not to get crabs literally trying to the station that all makes sense with my recollection of a too because i wasn't aware that that was was with the same dude in donkey kong as in super nintendos super mario brothers by time you're played super mario brothers it's like hey wait mario that will take the same guy from donkey kong and it turns out sure that can be what they rode into the history i'm not sure that they knew that mario was going to become this generation spanning lovable character that still has just as much clout today's he did in 1993 he i would put my money on the eighth day eight was the one that i have stuffed animal for the eight was the one who i bought the cereal four if they were going to launch the any acid 1985 i would think they'd make super donkey kong keep in mind when i bought my nintendo though i didn't get super mario brothers i got giro might and duck hunt twofer yeah that that was because you bought the super said that had all the extra joys eventually i finally got super mario brothers and i think that is the game that made him the household name that game is fun as hell i played that so much as a kid and i still i'm playing it now and i remember going home from school every night and finding warped zones are trying to get lives in the going to school the next day and talk with my friends and like do you know if you jump on this turtle shelled right here just the right way you can get a hundred free lives in the going home getting those 100 free lives and beating the game i mean it was addictive and fun and that's what made the fact that he came from donkey kong is coincidence iras.
