"42 remaining first quarter scoreless between the Bears and Saints alongside Hall of Famer James Locked in on Kevin Kugler Bears get a defensive stuff will take over at their own eight yard line, and Mitchell Travesty six and three this year as a starting quarterback. Go to work behind an offensive line of Charles Leno, Junior Cody White hair, Sam Lucifer, Alex bars and remaining steady from left to right along the offensive line. Jimmy Graham is the tight end Alan Robinson, Anthony Miller, the wide receivers will see who starts to the injured Darnell mooning today. David Montgomery. He has been the Bell cow for this offense of the Bears of late, almost 100 yards per game average. Over the last six games. Miller in motion from the eight yard line on first Down out of the shotgun swing past left side, the Miller looking for a block and Miller ushered out of bounds at the 10 yard line. Just to pick up of two as we set the Saints defense for you, Cameron Jordan, Marcus Davenport on the ends Malcolm Brown and David on Yamada in the middle of that line, Alexandra Alone Exact Bond tomorrow. Davis of the linebackers, Generous Jenkins Marchand Lattimore, the corners. Marcus Williams and Malcolm Jenkins, part of a veteran good secondary for the Saints. Saints defense third in the league this year, allowing just over 310 yards per game on second down Montgomery with Carrie and he'll go over the left side of the 13 yard line. Except three. And now third and five for the Bears deep in their own. End it there on 13 yard line. It will be interesting to see what offensive coordinator Bill Laser does on this down. They're going straight. The line of scrimmage. We're trying to catch the Saints and a basic coverage sent in from the sidelines third down and 53 receivers right of the line number is going to move from the left to the left of travesties stands on the left cash in the gun moving from left to right. For Biscuit arms outstretched gets the shotgun snapping his way. Same fresh five Robiskie pumps throws over the middle, and that's almost intercepted in and out of the hands of generous Jenkins, who was crossing in front of the intended receiver Alan Robinson and nearly picked up for this game to 23 as the punt team runs on for the bear. When you have time to say he pumped And when he pumps he's looking in that direction. That means that the defense also had that same amount of time to drive on the football, and when he pumped, they drove on the ball and almost came up with the interception. Deante Harris is the deep man, his toes on the Saints 40 yard line as Pat O'Donnell yard deep in the end zone will put it away after a bear's three and out pressure coming up the middle of Donald gets rid of this one. Harris, ranging toward the far sideline back pedals to the 38 yard. By now across the 40 tries to cut it left to the 45 down. He goes in the arms of Barkevious Mingo for the Bears Good field position, though, for Drew Brees..

NFL Playoff Futures: Who will make the 2020 post-season?

"Wanted to talk about playoff odds and not not. Just who's gonna make the playoffs but also the nfc the nfc's a really weird place. The saints are plus three fifty to win this to in the nfc. None of us like the saints even are as good as they looked last week against tampa. There's still this unease with because breezes arm strength. It just makes me nervous. I'm starting to talk myself into the saints. Okay yeah okay so a couple of things number one. Smart people in july and august said wait until brady gets half a season under his belt and they're going to get better you know. No one cares. More about the details. And tom brady doesn't have a training. Camp does not as doesn't put pads on till till august fifteenth. He's gonna get better and better and better and so week one when when the bucks and the saints played. I threw that out. I said this this doesn't matter bracing to get better and better better. This was the closing the gap game for me. And then i didn't see that and obviously they were there whipped everywhere you know. Ali maher pet being out was a big thing with with with with people who started the game. But i think that this was bigger than than alley marquette quite frankly okay The the saints were able to get a four man rush the entire game. Are they able to pressure brady on half of his dropbacks when they had a four man rush. That's really good Since marcus davenport's come back in week five had the most pressures in football pressuring and football There's just something there. The problem at the beginning of the year was that lattimore and marcus williams were bad and those are two pretty good players and i think that you know a good pass rush. Ken console that those guys can get better and so with with brees. Listen there are. There are problems with the fact. You can't throw down the field. The offensive line is not as good as it has been in years hospice and matter with brees because he gets rid of the ball and a second. It's like peyton manning he doesn't need you know the the the best offensive line in the world and then lattimore who we were kind of dunking on because at one point he was giving almost a perfect passer rating. He owns mike evans. He own them. He is not given up a reception. Mike evans the last three games. They've played and so when if those guys play in the playoffs again. There's that match up. So i i don't. I'm feeling better about the saints. Now that i was two three weeks ago. Good coaching staff. I gary coaching staff. Yeah so the fear in this isn't just the saints but the fear is all right. What happens at their downtown in a playoff game. It's basically the lamar jackson corollary. How am i feeling down. Thirteen to three in the second quarter and they've just done a three and out. What were my emotions in that moment. That's my the saints because a breeze. I think that because they don't you don't think they're capable of a big play. Is that your fear if teams though like all right. They've got to air this out. They've got to quicken the pace and also it's amazing to me a cameras probably been the. Mvp think it's either him cook mahomes berry some order Okay i'm amazed at teams aren't just like all right. We're taking him out like bell. Check in his prime your. He got added as kids to the coaching staff and decided to throw a fight street. Drafts fail check All he would do me like chimeras not beating me. You can have everyone else on the saints. I'm not getting beat by that guy. I'm falling everywhere he goes. We're hitting him constantly. He's not beating me. Why don't teams do that with them. I don't get it okay. So first of all they have a of weapons. Thanks so she when michael. Thomas is healthy There's a lot they can do their you know. I think peter king early breakdown. His column this week about there was a play where the bucks dropped eight men into coverage and it was a weird play. They had their fullbacks put out wide and brees hit a random tight end. Adam traveling for a touchdown even throwing into eight men like that. There's just something their breezes still really really good so. I think it's a bit simplistic to say. Just take away kamara because they can do other stuff And they can. They can change their game plan so

"Aw I'm not that type of doing score hundred percent I need to face the call this one dangerous welcome everybody to another episode of lighthearted podcast heart ask another you're gonNA have gamers athletes going to have businessmen moments I would say that probably the welcome everyone to another episode hard to podcast so first off congratulations to manny smalls who is then we'll give away winner last week many small any small congrats my man thank you for what is it sorry to put you on last manny smalls shutouts van Mo for allowing us to do this giveaway thank you guys and make sure you guys friend us on Van Mo and we're GonNa pick think thirteen more winter so I'm definitely do that and enter for a chance to one thousand dollars Yup all you do is super easy super easy so again this without further ado we just kind of getting into with mean log on I've seen media day there's a lot of stuff going on on Thursday a training camp today that was fun kind of good at this kind of get back into the swing things you know obviously seasons a very long but it's you know very exciting is going to be very exciting season so yeah look to us about talk to us about media day other fans tune in and they see the press conferences and they see the photo shoots and stuff like that but what is what does it look like behind the scenes what's what's your agenda what time you get there whatever we don't see so I got probably around WanNa say around eighty o'clock probably got it there by eight o'clock we I did a couple of physical stuff you know internal doctors and etc and after that did they like some table work some soft tissue work and then it kind of started the the media circuit news it was a very long process this year I don't know why it was so long as you guys got a Lotta is on you got a lot is it was very very long I think it took like four hours just about so long but it's cool obviously kind of get the the training camp started into season started so you know something that's fun that's kind of fans in the sense 'cause we a lot of the jumbotron stuff and etcetera so you know there's cool this long but I watched your press conference the press conference was it is old it's the same kind of stuff same questions ex- except for the question oughta be trapped in the wilderness where they never got that before so you got some podcast questions from gaming questions it was cool there's there's always a way for other people to see another side of myself so that's always cool I like the like the the what other MBA player would you want to have a podcast too yes Ma Spencer saw that yeah would definitely sense you said he's a more of a creator no not a not a creator guest so we're definitely going to have to get him on on other guests sometime soon as you scared us you know all that got link up but make sure we get that done for you guys I guess he's he's he's very smart obviously no very in touch which is you know different investments in tech world and etc so doubt I hope that I think that'd be very good interview for not just people to see kind of you know his thing in his thinking is very different and is very we know insightful so we'd have to do a lot of research before that I really know what we're talking about because he's GonNa come in and talk about blockchain Oh yeah he's talking to his contract and we got we got we got a brush up on it yeah exactly so I mean we'll get there we will get there Monday pretty good research yeah don't want to speak too highly of ourselves but you know you remember when that when we did when we were reciting all of his stats yeah man you know we do we do our research over here lighthearted podcast talk about about me me really too much going on besides there so you're getting off the hook that easily I think the people want to hear about how training camps going and and all that and you probably got asked that a million times or media day but what's what was the first day of practice like what what what do you what do you do on the first day of and NBA today's the first day and it's it's it's a little different for everybody just because you know you have new guy that I think they were saying only five guys of the twenty that we have on our training camp roster was there last year so it's definitely a new faces obviously myself as one but so you have that but then you also have new coaches and all that kind of stuff so it's it's everyone kind of getting to know everybody and getting not tendencies and he has a new defensive coats so that's different for the guy that were there he does a different scheme than you know what I played you know I played with with the Lakers so you know the things is different you got to kind of adjust and get used to that kind of so but the first day is really just learning the more the principles offensively defensively for us we like getting up and down so we we got up and down a little bit today so that's kind of how you know things going so far and then you mentioned you you have a new coach on on the defensive side of things I felt you throughout your career you've been looked at as a pretty good defender obviously really good on ball defender but a you know a great sort of just he's in the right position is do when you have to learn new defensive schemes you feel like you usually catch on pretty quick yeah I think so I think it kind of all depends on the scheme or like you know the style of it you know there's a little bit different than what I played in in La so just kinda gotta get used to somebody that stuff but it was good I I think I'm a quick learner a fast learner so but you know I don't WanNa do that in myself so but I was saying I think I'm pretty good learning wise I mean it's crazy I mean I have practice today and then you have a game literally in six days six days so it's I mean there's league as a quick turnaround but that's also the beauty of the NBA because you might might lay in a one game get blown up twenty but you gotta you gotTa game the next day so you know as a beautyrest league in this how it is so it'd be it's going to be fun I'm very I'm definitely looking forward yeah knowing that you guys I mean star practice today and then have your first game so soon after like like do people use preseason as really as a way to sort of test test which lineups work and what schemes are working really use it as like a learning process yet I do agnes who surname Dan obviously we have six preseason game so towards the end of it you Kinda Star arrest in you know starters you know you guys obviously you don't want to enter injuring general but you don't want to have an injury definitely not in pre Zidan but the first two games you definitely see the style you guys get used to your personnel and everything like that right because obviously you have the summer you know who kind of who you're getting out of singing free agency and stuff like that but you're not always going to have let's there in the summer they kind of use that time to kind of get their body right you know some guy played later in the playoffs so you might have gotten free agency so they won't take lead time to focus on their body get their body right but you kind of use the three days or three games say has just learning tools and kind of get to know your players in Notre Tennessee's what they like what they don't like and it's the same for you know players and which is you get you get a defensive strategy and you know offensive game plan and etc I love it I love it I was I was I actually had media day yesterday to actually do I nobody asked me any questions but I I was at hey media debt hey man accounts Joe Branch Joe Branch appointed assistant gm of the of the timber chiefs who else I saw a couple of friends Jordan Jay Sima Mayor Robert COVINGTON row coma guy I didn't I didn't talk to me it's my Guy Roco he's cool did you know he has pet snakes yes I do know that I'm not a fan of that but hey tea each his own who else I saw a cat category big travel who else who else you on that team thank who else did I think that might be Akilah Martin who is that just a bit he played in the Big East there did you actually hear me Keelan Martin O. from a cool I thought I thought that was like a the biggest Chiampou oh no I wasn't when you said Mar in others who's he talking about because I saw a picture earlier on late Nevada they played both playing the Hornets so when you said Martin kind of what I thought and I was like way kind of of the Oh yeah but you know were more in passing though Wiggins Jeff teague they actually have a good team no you're going to be good do-doesn't going to be good But I'm definitely I wasn't at your Media Day but I'm interested nice to hear like how how teams do differently but the way the way they did it and to give you some context the reason I was out there I I manage got him kicked Saddam is who is like the top sneaker customize in the NBA He does awesome work from you know everybody's done work with Josh to you know cat is like really as big is big in cat kind of got him help break his name out on the scene Daimler James Heart and he's done a bunch of really cool stuff for them but anyway the timber wolves flew him out to their meetings EH and you know did you guys have stations where you go from like one thing yeah yes so one of the stations was like he set up in their locker room where the guys would come in The shoe that they were going to be playing on this year it'd be sitting on this kind of like glass podium and then they I just did like a a minute or two minutes sort of conversation we should ominous about you know what's important to them and you know what it's like their family or their pets are like stuff they're interested in and they talk about what custom shoes he's GonNa make for them and then he's going to take all the shoes back to La film himself making them and then he's going to send it back to Minnesota the team's GonNa film The guys opening the I'm an talking to come together nicely for a cool content piece that starts with like Media Day and goes all the way through the end of the season so that was that was the station hearing hearing you talk about how like Kinda dragged out and it was like four hours it made sense because the guys were like really excited when they got to station because it was different it wasn't like a traditional just like me the hips Hand side do do some crossover between delay all that kind of stuff so it's like you know what after the I to our that is again a little old yeah saw during like during the Games during the season whenever you see like the stuff on the jumbotron like I know the Lakers it's had like you know see how many whatever's you can name and thirty seconds in the fan does it and then and then the player shows a recording of the player doing it that that all happens during meetings yeah that's all all media unless it's like a special occasion or something special but most of this kind of you got to fly right out to God knows where and issues is too hard to do that during the season so that's kind of what media day therefore and you know kind of just get it all the way down did you get a pre media day haircut gotta shape up because I was watching the house watching the extreme on the Pelicans twitter.

"I. Second and ten here for the Bengals doll. Josh back. Looks. Marcus williams. Cuts back to the middle of thirty forty fifty. Forty four thirty twenty five percent coming from behind inside the twenty yard line. Finally dragged down at the Bengals seventeen yard line. Marcus Williams with a huge interception return for the saints back into the red zone. Seventy eight yards ally. Apple had an interception to and. You know when you when you being outplayed as badly as the Bengals were being outplayed yesterday. Last thing you need a turnovers two turnovers. Didn't turn a game at all. But it is done. Hell I'll tell you that in a way Mark from west Wego. Let me ask you this going back to the dark days of the saints of the middle ages. You know, what I mean, did you feel a little bit a little bit sorry for Cincinnati yesterday. Yeah. Dot com. Who DAT who DAT? Yeah, you're right about the science band thirteen in the Super Bowl season. I went to the Dallas game J fourteen and they lost as a Saturday night game Saturday night game. Yeah. Absolutely. They wound up thirteen and three in the regular season. But they had clinched homefield had they not in any kind of rested people last two. You had an earlier caller said basically gonna go twelve and one this year at show a fate may take his foot off the gas again. I don't see that. Well, no, I don't see with the Rams. I mean, if you look at the ram schedule, I don't know that they're going to be able to do that. Because the Rams still have left. They got a big game against the chiefs next Monday night in Mexico City. And if they lose that it'd be their second loss, but then looking ahead lions bears eagles cardinals and forty Niners teams there. I mean, there's always an upset. Right. Any given Sunday. But I think the only two you'd really have to worry about a bears or they would have to worry about are the bears and eagles, but we'll see right. Take time. You think this better team than and oh nine? They got to prove that they got to win win at all. Yeah. Because you know what? That's a good point. Really? They haven't accomplished anything yet. Got to win it all and and a blue runner red bean opinion polar the saints the best team in the NFL as it stands right now. I think so only themselves can beat them. Thank you, Mark. I think you're right. Two two six zero one eight seven phone lines are jammed. We'll get you on his quickly as we can. But that phone line that he just marked vacated can be yours. If you call right now, Adam in New Orleans. Hi, you're on wwl. Good morning. Morning. Tommy how you doing? But I am doing fantastic. And you doing great good morning. I'm glad we got the WFAN. I should be a capital W. That's right. So I called a few weeks ago when everyone was disappointed that we beat the Browns. And I think they have amnesia. Now. Imagine we disappointed in the way, we beat the Browns. You mean? Yeah. Yeah. You you'd said that you know, whether or not people were excited or disappointed, we beat the Browns. And I'm just saying the people who were disappointed. I'm sure they forgot about the w well, why it on if you remember? But it's a w ain't nobody can look at the end of December and say, yeah. But you barely this. Or this. It's a w. Yes. So far as who the best best player on the field is besides your breeze. A lot of a lot of people are obviously going to give it to Kamara. But our offense of line is fantastic. I mean, I think we have the best line in the business. I mean, Fram check and Armstead. Obviously he went down yesterday. Hopefully is going to recover quickly. I didn't really follow what happened to him. But. We're just. Appear to be a shoulder. And of course, Sean Payton, and rightfully so I wouldn't change anything is very protective about injuries in terms of giving the other team in advantage. You're letting them know, but your mind Bushrod played pretty well in places Toronto. Instead. Yeah. I'm I'm just excited for our future. I think we have a long road ahead of us as far as the two thousand nine team versus this one. But if we keep playing at this high level think if we can win at all this'll be the best team we've ever assembled ever. I think you're right. And thank you. I'm glad you called. And I'm getting a couple of texts here about Tom Benson. And I don't know if you believe in the theory part of it. I don't know if you believe in the other worldly part of it. But I'll just leave it at this. It would be one hell of a tribute to Mr. Benson and MS Benson. If they could win the Super Bowl for him or on in the year the season after he passed away. Troy New Orleans. Hi, you're on wwl morning doing doing happy today. I am too. I'm actually pay also Williams. United States navy? Well, how many veterans? Thank you very much. Boys that schedule people need to start worrying about this is I think the saints beat anybody else. I actually think they're gonna win the Super Bowl and might be called that that they need to prove about windows would be better than what I. Do that. But I mean, offense align and Sean Payton play colonies, the big law successfully. Thanks again, disagree at all the blue runner food red bean opinion poll, do you think the saints are the best team in the NFL right now? Yes. I think so I don't think the chiefs could beat them. And here's how I look at it. You got Andy Reid. Versus Sean Payton got Patrick Mahomes versus drew Brees. They take the saints on that one. Absolutely. For taking my call. Thank you, Troy and blood you called we gonna take more calls when we come back to six so one eight seventy some of the texts that I'm getting here the beautiful thing is that the saints win as a team shut down one or two of our weapons surprise. Here are ten others want to get to our quarterback. Good luck. Who the best oh line in the league? Our defense is the best. But it's doing just enough and still getting better it bends, but doesn't break. And it was good to see Eli. Apple get that interception. And somebody texted this in several times. Because of a loss bed. Something about what the eagles coach we have to wear all white uniforms. I dunno anything about that. But right now, we're gonna take a break for traffic on wwl..

"Drew Brees and drew twenty two thirty five two hundred forty three yards two touchdowns. But really a game that it seemed like they really were going to give you a lotta underneath stuff. And really force you to kind of methodically work your way down the field today. Yeah. I think just the the the Greg Williams defense, you know, is it's one of those. Hey, we're gonna play ultra conservative, and we're going to let you ultra conservative. We're gonna blitz you. And there's really no in between. So I think it's just going into the game. Like this. We felt like the most important thing is to take care of the football. So don't try to force it when they're playing ultra-conservative wait for their pressure. Looks to try to take your shots potentially. But bottom line is completions are good move the chains. And eventually will catch him in something where we can get points. Unfortunately, the times where we caught him in south. And we just we did not maximize. Those opportunities. I feel like we left a bunch of points out there in the first half. But by the time, we figured it out. Thankfully, it was it was enough in the fourth quarter. Couple of MRs I want to ask you about. I'm gonna put you on the spot here a little bit. The Ben Watson pass on tight red zone. Can you talk me through the play? And and kind of what you saw. Yeah. So that's one of those heavy play fake. Look like, you're burying it up in there and trying to get the defenders is on the ball and Ben's just kind of slow releasing out. And so it's one of these trick I'm kind of plays. And honestly, I felt like I rushed it a little bit. So when I spend my head around I felt the defender who was supposed to be covering Ben close enough to him that I felt like I had to make this perfect throw up and over him. When in reality. I think I'd just be a little more patient with the cell, and then I would have had a much easier. Touchdown. It reminded me a little bit of the time. You threw me the ball except Ben's release was a lot cleaner. He did get out. He was free. I just want to ask you about it talk to me a little bit, Marcus Williams. Obviously the end of last season has a tough ending to the year and has gone through so much criticism. And you sit here in this game. We need a big play. We're we're we're in the fourth quarter. We really haven't had that big play happened yet to get us back in and Marcus Williams kinda Bates tyrod Taylor who is is the all time leader in fewest interceptions per attempt in the NFL and just Bateman Bateson gets a huge pick puts us on the eighteen yard line talk a little bit about Marcus what you've seen from him. Yeah. He is he's a ball hawking safety. I tell you. I mean, I just know from from going up against him now for the last couple of months in training camp in OT as in such. He's a guy that you always have to be aware of as to where he is. And he's got such good instincts and he plays. He's such a smart football player to he knows where the mismatches are potentially. He's gonna lean there. He's gonna jump that. Be so useful. I man we need to play in this situation. And sure enough here comes that heavy play action that I felt like Cleveland done a few times in the game. He was ready for it. He jumps. It makes makes what is really defining playing the game. You know, you get into one of these games. And it feels like we just can't get that play to get us over the hump. It's like you're just waiting for that moment, you get that play from Marcus. You also started drive out before that Alvin Kamara with a big eighteen yard run to get drive, and he gets up, and you can see the excitement there. It took about there was about four or five things that we're going to need to have to happen at the end of that game that both we were going to have to do and the Browns are going to have to do and both teams pulled through with their end of the bargain. So obviously, we're able to do that. It's your thirty ninth fourth quarter overtime comeback in your career. So that's one for every year that you are old. So that's good. So as the year goes, we'll need another one to get you. But. What is what is different about this team? What allows this team this offense to always feel like it has a shot late in these games. We've got we've got big time players. You know, we got guys that can make plays. I think we just everyone rises to the occasion. I mean, you understand the play that needs to be made. And I think by that time to in a game. You just feel the way the game has gone. You kind of know what you need to do in order to get the job done. And I think everybody listen every skilled player knows that man there number could be called in. And and and that means that that's the match up in men were coming to you. And you're gonna be able to make the playoffs. Guys, did a great job with the pressure packages there during that two minute drive, you know in order to allow us to to set up to kick that field goal. So. Man. It was just all in all great offensive team effort there at the end down the stretch everybody making place if any to make to put us in position. Well, it kept us in the edge of our seats and obviously excited saints win twenty eight twenty one to eighteen thank you for joining us drew and good luck next week against the giants promised Reefer, right? All right buddy, little less awkward week too. But still awkward that was Monday morning quarterbacks. Brought to you by go auto insurance company. Save money drive safely and the university of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, that's it from here in the Superdome again. Saints win twenty one eighteen against the Cleveland Browns back to the studio. I thank you St. for I like that. I like the way drew called him street for my call him from Alan if I'm entitled to right now time for traffic, wwl..

"Yeah and that's my thing like marcus williams made one bad play all year fan i like people say jr smith did too but jr had like three seconds and lebron standing in front of him screaming at him so either marcus williams made a bad play which happens right in the courtroom football game there's like you know you're playing fifty sixty snaps on defense play his happened to come in a crucial moment jr smith is like when i saw that all i could think was the invades rigged like there's like that's all it's almost how could you be that all right and imagine like i'm not a cavs fan i would have been screaming if i was a cavs fan because you know when you're going over time with the warriors the odds are extremely in that yeah that's exactly what happened there so stacked against you so and you know what i'm this is not even this isn't against jr this is more just four marcus williams once again a tip of the captor him being in the locker room after answering every single question after that incident when marcus williams for rookie safety to do that after you know he could hid he could've done anything like that i think marcus williams is going to be just fine down i do too yeah and i think he's i think he has the the wiring to like make this hits gonna make him a better player this isn't like a nick anderson moment where it misses some free throws right and it's like i can never play again i think he's gonna be he's gonna be just fine so do that's our show i'm glad we got to talk about some things everything yeah some other things right i it keeps going back to this what was stick to football supposed to be when we launched fourteen months ago and it was supposed to be whatever we want nfl draft and then whatever the fuck we want and so we're like it's enjoyable to that need the good news is very very soon you'll get to hear all three of us on the mid week show as we start to break down he's position so it's going to get wild man i'm we're gonna try to get some of the top guys at these.

"Um and and and honestly there's not there there is not a better teammate on the team this year the marcus williams for him to come in and have the rookie of that he had um i thought was incredible and and and honestly i think he is going to be one of the best reshaped he's in this week and and in fact i think that he is going to be a guy who's gonna make a play it's going to help us win that super bowl when we do get that opportunity at all this thing in this whole thing will come full circle um is nothing that happened on sunday theme of that game was because of a lack of effort he'll if you watch the play closely and you know football and you know the situation he was he was trying not to pass your inter inter because the worst thing that happens is you know you you collide with that guy it's early and mutual flag and then they get the ball right there to kick a field goal so i think his is is intention was hey i can't wait we can't pass interfere here you know and so he was there so early but he felt like if i contact the guy then it's gonna be passing france so and and let's say it all happens very very fast it's easy for us to sit back and watch the film is low moley rewind at twenty times and say what we would have done differently but um listen is a great football player he's an incredibly instinct to football player he's got who cares so much and i think he is going to be one of the best free safeties in this week before softened on and i do believe he is going to make a play that's gonna help us when a super bowl here in the varying your future um this is just one of those unfortunate things that um you know everybody's blaming him for and you know he illicit there wasn't a guy i mean he was still torn up in the locker room after the game you know um after what happened but he's got every every all fifty three guys behind him in our locker room on that love him care for him and know that that was just an honest mistake now we're gonna move forward and he's gonna be better for it in the future you be you the budget by that go auto locals auto insurance.

"People are sort of say like that's on marcus williams and this happens all the time like we see somebody you will see a wide receiver run free down the sideline with nobody within thirty yards have we assume the quarterback who was lined up opposite of him at the beginning of the play was rock like the reality is we don't know what the other ten elements of the defense were supposed to be doing on late yesterday so we were found ways aibl i think that the amount of information we have is amazing it's also on the other hand can be a little bit of a we have to be careful so as much as it looks like marcus williams aired on that play do we know for a fact that there wasn't a safety or cornerback or a linebacker who may have also went awry went astray on that play if you look at the next jan stats graphic that was posted last night on twitter which basically shows the evolution of the play in terms that i i saw saw this exactly you're talking about and you're going to talk about the weak side safety aren't you yeah it really i mean it's like where everybody go your it was bizarre it almost felt like um you know and we'll start like box in one you know what i mean like in basketball when you've guides you're basically one defender accounting for one player than a box a court for the rest of the space it was mox in one except for it was football and it was marcus williams against defined digs and it may not have been by design yes and there is also the ran there's interesting rubber maize former grand lender friend of mine.
