"But I also, I also want to give a honorable mention here to a guy who I've never seen play on an NFL field, but that's Marcus Jones, who they drafted in the third round who is a spectacular return specialist. He's gonna be a defensive back. I don't know how much he'll be on the field with the defense, but you know, we all know that Bill Belichick loves his special teams and it seemed like very fitting that they end up being the team that snags Marcus Jones here. The question is, how much will a return specialist actually get to do in the NFL right now? And I don't know, less than they used to do, but yeah, whatever fourth downs for the other team, you want to stick around and see what he does. They were, I wonder what their thought process was because they did that around after taekwon Thornton. And you wonder if Belichick is as bad as his draft record is viewed by people sometimes. I mean, I think the draft is a crapshoot largely anyway. But when he's got a good sense of the economy of things, right? What am I getting value over what everybody else is looking for? Like we talked about with the three four and four three guys. He was really gobbling up speed in this draft. Yeah. And I'm wondering if there's some reason for that. I mean, yes, we all like fast players are good. We all need fast players. That's an obvious statement. But I wonder if there was some sort of a backbone or a reason for that thought process. Yeah. I mean, you would call Marcus Jones a difference maker, if any return specialist is going to be a difference maker, but I don't know if return specialist can still be difference makers. In this day and age. It's true. Yeah, and if anyone should understand that, it should be Belichick. So let me ask, what do you think the best case scenario for this team is do you think they can catch buffalo? I don't think they can catch buffalo. I think that it's almost like the saints. I view them as one of the most obvious locked in wild card teams. Like New England screams sexy to me. I just think that's where I just think that's where they end up. It's a Belichick team. They're not going to bottom out. And if I had to guess, and I don't know, I kind of want your take on this. Well, I don't kind of want it. I really want it. What do you think is actually happening with Matt Patricia and Joe judge? Because this time last year, remember, we thought that Jamar chase couldn't catch, we thought that Joe burrow was never gonna play again. There's a lot of things that Joe burrow was too scared to take snaps, right? There's a lot of things that come out in training camp that have no basis or reflection reality. Patricia and Joe judge are getting hammered right now in that co OC roll. As I talk my way through it, if you're making a fundamental shift in the way that you're blocking, having that Patricia be The O.C. makes sense because a lot of offensive line coaches are becoming offensive coordinators because not many people know how to teach that. Stuff, we saw we saw Adams instead of it to get a promotion, Chris Forrester, I think, is the offensive coordinator now in San Francisco at the forty-niners.

"He's pretty thick, but man, he is small and I don't know what his numbers were coming out of the combine, but maybe it was just this one rep, but they were doing sort of red zone, almost like, hey, the quarterback's gonna throw it up in the corner, the cornerback's got a, you know, get a jam and then play the ball and I wasn't all that impressed with his vertical jump. It could have been a bad rep. I don't know, but I will say this. The dude is quick as hell. He is, what did Daniel Jeremiah quicker than a hiccup? He has that going on for him. So that's good for the slot, but I do think long term. I think he is a honey badger sort of multifaceted tool in terms of he can line up basically anywhere. I believe Daniel Jeremiah stole that from the great Jim Ross from the WWF. By the way. You would know the rest of this. I would know that. I am the wrestling nerd of these two people talking to you right now. So all right, let's look at the cornerback group. The top three guys, Sean wade, was in the slot. Marcus Jones played behind him. How about the one and the two on the outside, Greg? So it was Jalen mills and Terrence Mitchell, sort of a continuation of the off season. I don't know if that's a big surprise. But then you had Malcolm butler was in the second group with the rookies, Jack Jones, Marcus Jones, so that was definitely an interesting pairing juwan Williams former second round pick. He was in scrub ville with guys that never really heard of. I will say though that you wanna Williams had an interception today, a nice interception today in practice. So, you know, that was nice, but he was definitely, he was probably looking around and being like, bro these are the guys I'm playing with, really? Really? He's doing the John Travolta from Pulp Fiction, the gift that's always going around where he's just like in the room. He's looking around like what? Who am I with here? Out of the guys, right? So I think we know what to expect from Jalen mills, good and bad. Out of the other guys, Greg, Terrence Mitchell, wade, Jack Jones, Malcolm butler. I won't include Marcus because this was his first practice today. And I know it's very limited in its early, but as anybody sticking out to you in any kind of way out of those, you know, rest of the guys group at cornerback? Well, I will say to this point and I thought today with it being all red zone, it was tough to really tell much of anything. With a second, a lot of the red zone work in the secondary is passing off guys and so it's hard to tell. There was no sort of 7 on 7 period where it's just like one on one just in the middle of the field or even one on one work, which you'll get you'll get a lot of cornerbacks versus wide receivers. Hey, wide receivers get to make a move and none of that stuff.

"Do you think this is headed with Marcus Jones? The offense think it's very interesting. And I don't hate it. But that's a year two year three thing, right? Even looking back at Devin Hester, they didn't the bears didn't start playing them on offense to year two. Really till year three, year two was like an emergency thing. They were banged up, right? I'm not saying Marcus Jones is going to be Devin Hester, but it's an unusual situation. It's the closest comp we have. I think he's mostly return of this year. I think there will be some games that don't jump down my throat because I don't think he's the same player, but remember like juwan Williams early in his career when he was the tight end stopper, there were certain like his role really very game to game when they played the chiefs when they played the Raiders or the dolphins. He seems that these big elite tight ends who would be out there more other games not so much. I think you see something similar with Marcus Jones where when they play the dolphins, right? The dolphins is a big one who have two elite, fast slot receivers. Marcus Jones very fast, right? When they have to defend Jalen waddle and tyreek hill. That's probably a Marcus Jones game. That's probably a game we see him on the field a bit more. Other situations, you know, they go up against the jets who have some bigger guys, not quite as much. I think Jonathan Jones is still the top slot corner. I think he's still going to be the number one in that role. And I don't think Marcus Jones, I don't think either of them are playing much on the boundary. They're both pretty much slot specific defenders. I think Jones is going to be a returner with game to game usage and then Jonathan Jones and free agent at the end of the year. He moves on and then Mark, you know, this time next year we talk about, well, they need a big year to jump for Marcus Jones because he's replacing Jonathan Jones, right? I think that's the way that sort of goes. So you kind of hinted at it there as well. And I think the biggest thing for Marcus Jones to play on defense is nothing to do with Jonathan Jones this year, maybe next year, but it's actually more to do with miles Bryant, right? Can you beat out miles Bryant? I think he can back up nickel role. It's really what it is is the backup nickel. And at that point in time, I think you can as well. And you start to look at their size, I know everybody's knocking Marcus Jones for his lack of size. I would venture to say that him and miles Brian are pretty much exactly the same size, right? Miles broke. He also plays the game much bigger than he is. Jones does. Yeah, so that's the difference there. I think is that Marcus Jones, I do think has an ability or a chance here to beat out miles Bryant as the second nickel or the backup nickel to Jonathan Jones and then like you mentioned in certain games when they go defensive back heavy when they want to get more speed on the field to match Tyree kill and Jalen waddle. He's going to have some opportunity there..

"Could you see something like that happening? Well, to be honest with you with coach Belichick, you can see a lot of things because look what he did with Adrian Phillips. I mean, Adrian Phillips was a guy who I did coming out of Texas, and I remember saying to myself, well, this guy's a dime safety in the NFL, which he turned out to be, by the way. Yeah, but look at the way coach Belichick uses him. He's essentially, he's almost a combination linebacker, as you know. He plays Robert times. He covers tight ends at times, doesn't play a whole lot on the back end, but will on occasion. I mean, you know, what coach Belichick does with a lot of these kinds of players is really fascinating to me. And you know, he doesn't just put these guys in a box, which is why, you know, when they drift and Marcus Jones, I thought, wow, that is really intriguing to me because I think he can play multiple positions and my strong guess is coach Belichick's got the same thing, or he wouldn't have drafted him. Yeah, absolutely. Let's deal with the two running backs together here. They drafted Pierre strong as South Dakota state in the fourth round. They drafted Kevin Harris out of South Carolina in the 6th round, are they the same type of backs or are they different? Okay. They're different. Pierre strong, he's kind of a smooth linear darting slashing runner. He almost looked risen at times. He's got big playability. It's a little bit of a smaller back. You know, I think that he's probably not a feature type back in the league, but I don't think he was drafted to be one by New England. You know, I think that he can be a really good receiver too. He put the ball easily. I think there's much to be unlocked as a receiver. I think you can detach him from the formation. So sorry, Greg. Go ahead. In comparison to, say, James White is coming back from hip injury. They don't really have JJ Taylor, but and they've given him some shots, but it doesn't seem they're sold on him. Could he feel sort of a pass back role for New England given development? I think yes, he could. I think he could do that for sure. I think whether that happens this year, but that I can't answer because you don't know about his development, but I think he can be in that role and then be kind of a complimentary back. He does have big playability as a runner, no question about that. I mean, he's kind of a smooth slashing thing. He almost looks rhythmic when you watch him..

"Giardia as part of his coal strange report also said that, you know, as far as someone was lurking and he's really confident that someone was lurking in in love with Thornton and the majority has just gone full honk. Who is sources patriot sources? I don't know, but he brought up maybe Pittsburgh as that team lurking. Or maybe they like some of the stuff they saw in film. So I agree with though, Thornton is the is the swing pick. And works out if they hit a home run with thorium. I don't think many people are crying about this draft. A 100%, 100%. If he's what they drafted them to be, this draft is great. All right, let's run through quickly the rest of the draft here. Marcus Jones at 85, Greg. Love him, baller, ballplayer. I would have picked this guy in the same spot, you know, he's your future slot guy, kick returner, can give you probably a few snaps on offense too. I worry about his shoulders. He had shoulder surgery on both of them already, that's an issue for an interior sort of guy and a willing tackler, but love him. Absolutely love him. Love the pick. Arizona state cornerback, Jack Jones with one 21. This was another pick where people were screaming. Oh my God. What a reach by Belichick. Your thoughts on Jack Jones. Yeah, I would have, you know, he's a bit of a reach, you know, you hear that he has man covered traits and look, if the Patriots, again, this is another swing pick. It's a risky pick. It's a swing pick. If they got their man corner later, then I wanted to. I wanted elam in the first round. They got theirs later, picked up more picks. They got their inside cornerback and Marcus Jones of the future. Then great. I do think there's questions about Jones and, you know, he had a lot of off field issues earlier. We'll see if those are still the case. Obviously the Patriots Matt gros said they did a lot of homework. So I'm good with that. I took I took shaker Khalil shaker wide receiver Boise state in my draft in the spot. The Patriots met with Jones top 30 visit. They went out to Arizona to talk to the Arizona state people about Jones. So yeah, they did a lot of homework on him. He was a 5 star recruit, I believe, coming out of high school, he was really, really good in his freshman year. And then the off the field stuff bit him. Now, we know that there's been some past examples of this. Malcolm butler, JC Jackson, some things going on where guys were very talented, but it didn't work out for one reason or another. I'm not selling you that Jack Jones is going to be butler or JC Jackson. But the Patriots have a history of this and they feel comfortable with the homework they've done. They were right on butler. They were right on Jackson. We'll see if they're right on Jack Jones. Pierre strong at one 27 running back, home run hitter, Greg. Like, love the pick, good player, can give you a bunch of things. James White with speed. So I like to pick there. Yeah, and let's not forget that white over the weekend said he's got a ways to go. He might not be back. He might. I hope he comes back, but it's a hip significant injury to the hip and insert into the hip. So yeah, I'm not banking on James White. I love him. Hopefully he comes back and he looks like James White, but I'm not banking on it. One 37..

"Right now, I thought they should have, they should have gone with another position. I just didn't see the value there, and I thought taekwon Thornton, who will also talk about, I thought he was a bit of a reach in round two. All right, so look, I don't necessarily disagree with everything up until taekwon Thornton that you just said. I want to make this very, very clear. If I were to give this draft a great I probably hover around a sea. I didn't love the draft by any means. But I'm going to, I'm going to attack this differently today. I'm going to give you some optimism and some silver linings. I'm going to give you some stuff that people that people really haven't talked about because I've heard about the reaching. I've heard about Cole strange and I've heard about the offensive guard. And again, I don't necessarily disagree. I don't like drafting a guard in the first round. I said my least desirable scenario would be what happened was drafting a guard in the first round. But here are some overall thoughts before we go pick by pick. First of all, if you have hated Bill Belichick drafts recently, then you should like this one. And what I mean by that is Belichick has been criticized for years sticking with the same programs, sticking with the same prototypical measurement guys. Oh, he's a patriot guy, right? Phil Perry, who does a great job, does the prototypical patriots. In the Patriots have bragged for approaching the draft the same way every year. This was different. This was outside the box. I don't know if it's going to work, but if you've hated the same old same old, there was a lot of different with this draft, as far as approach and philosophy. Secondly, I would say that, you know, because it was such a different draft. And we'll get into Matt grow later. So I don't want you to dig deep into this at all yet, Greg, but we talked about grow leading into this. Because it was such a different draft. Does that mean that Belichick actually gave grow a legitimate seat at the table? We'll get to that. It's just one thought that maybe this draft was so different that has a lot to do with it. There was a new guy leading, right? I would also say that we went into this draft saying, you want speed, you want athleticism. If you wanted those two things, the players will see if they can actually play. We'll see if they're good. But if you went into this draft wanting speed and athleticism, you got speed and you got athleticism. You got the running back and wide receiver. Number one at the combine when it comes to 40 yard dash. Marcus Jones is a terrific athlete. If you want to talk about offensive line athleticism, coal strange also is one of the top athletes. I don't go that far. But, you know, speed and athleticism, the Patriots addressed it in this draft, whether you like the players or not. They addressed the needs that we talked about. Everybody's been begging for evolution from the Patriots. When is Belichick going to change? When is he going to realize that, you know, everything he's done is just so off off the board now..

"Alongside with me is Alex bars as always and hopefully my voice makes it through the rest of this show because I can already tell that it is about to go after three straight days of being on air for both of us. It seems like I make it through this show. I went out for my morning coffee run this morning Alex and I heard the great voice of real Alex barth on 98 5 this morning with Ted Johnson. We're both grinding away here and we're going to discuss the day three picks for the Patriots and the draft. That's going to be the focus of this show. If you want to go watch us break down cold strange or taekwon Thornton and Marcus Jones on day two, we already did those podcasts on Friday and on Saturday. So you can go ahead and see in the depth breakdowns on those guys. We are going to circle back at the end of the show and discuss the draft as a whole and that will get into the top picks again at that point as well. But I want to start with the day three guys. Those are the guys that we haven't talked about at least since they've been drafted by the Patriots and we'll start right here at four one 21 Alex fourth round pick cornerback Jack Jones from Arizona state probably the most predictable pick of the entire draft for the Patriots to be just due to the fact that the Patriots did an immense amount of public homework on the player. It's one of the first times I can remember in a long time where the Patriots were all over the player and the pre draft process and then they ended up actually drafting him with a top one 50 pick. You know, sometimes we hear about these guys and they end up coming here as UDF a's or 6th rounders or something like that. But to have a top 30 visit, then have a visit in Tempe in Arizona with Jack Jones and then to actually make the pick here in the fourth round. This one was the most predictable pick of the draft. I was actually surprised by this. Not totally surprised they took them. He wasn't the only Arizona state corner they worked out, right? They worked out chase Lucas. I actually liked Lucas better. I liked Lucas better and I thought they would like Lucas better. I really did. So I'm not surprised like overall like I didn't see Jack Jones name and be like really they took him, but I don't know, I thought Lucas especially in that spot made a lot more sense..

"I still would be, would they took Jake Bailey in the 5th, right? They have the last pick in the fourth round, one 37 overall. If they're going to go punter, I think that's the pick. Yeah, it's basically 37 overall. Right. I could totally see today being like running back one 21. Offensive or defensive lineman one 27 punter one 37. I could totally see that. Don't sleep on Jordan stout. That's all I'll say. Obviously I'm a big matter is a guy. If he's on the board, great, I wouldn't be surprised if they take stout. The other thing I would say is keep an eye out for coverage players. Keep an eye out for coverage players today. There's been a bit of an accident there. It started with Nate Abner a couple years ago. They're now lost brain golden Brandon king. Matthew slater is here to hear at this point, right? Some of the guys that are like there. And this is now we're getting into the 6th and 7th round picks they have. Drew Hart law from Penn State ran a 4.24 40. Teams love him as a gunner. John patrician from Pitt is a hybrid linebacker safety who the dude just gets the football. He gets a football he's fearless in contact. I like him later on. There's one other guy I would say to watch later on in terms of special teams and I don't know how realistic he is now that they took Marcus Jones, but Dallas flowers for Pittsburgh state in Kansas. Is a really interesting thing in Kansas. Pick no H, there's no H at the end. Pittsburgh state. D two school in Kansas. I think that he's so he was an all American kick returner in the NIA. He then transferred to Pittsburgh state last year. He led the nation as a kick returner. He's bigger. He's an outside coronary 6 two one 91 long arms. Again, great athlete. I think he reminds me of gunner in that. I think he would come in. He'd give you a kick returner right away, but unlike gunner, I think there is some upside for him to contribute it as listed position down the road two or.

"One 21 one 27 coming up today. The one other position I'd like to see them hit on, they took cold strange. They took care of the immediate need. It guard developmental stack. The long-term need to tackle Daniel fillet is still there. I know that's why tackle not left tackle. But he's a really interesting pick. And then, yeah, so if we're talking early early here because there's later picks, mark on McCall defensive tackle. Right. Excuse me. Let's get in the weeds, Evan. Let's do this. Okay. So I want to get, I'm going to continue to pound the table for Zion McCollum. Before we get okay, you do that. And then there's two more. Let me do this is my guy on day three. I gotta get my guy off, right? Okay. Zion McCollum on day three. I just love the idea of pairing this with the Marcus Jones draft pick because ziya McCollum is the opposite of Marcus Jones, right? He's 6 foot two, 200 pounds. Great length, great athletic tester outside pure outside corner. So with tremendous upside, they drafted taekwon Thornton at receiver. The taekwon Thornton of the cornerback group is Zion McCollum, or you know what I mean? So if I'm the Patriots I'm looking at it and I'm saying, we got a slot guy. Let's go out and let's get an outside guy now. I would love them to draft Zion McCollum here today. If we want to talk running back says, I do think that they're going to take a running back here today. Love Tyler Beatty. I think that that's right. I think he's the guy that stood out the most to me when I was watching tape on all these consensus running backs. He was really, really fun to watch. I would go with Tyler Beatty. I think that there's a little bit of Dion Lewis to his game. I think he's got that shiftiness. He's smaller, but he's bigger than JJ Taylor. He says a more in that Dion Lewis body type. And I think he's got great lateral quickness and just great contact balance and I think you'd be a really fun player in their offense. If you told me that ramonda Stevenson and Tyler Beatty were going to be their running backs for the foreseeable future once they probably don't pay Davy and Harris in the off season. I'm all for that. I think those guys are a perfect combination with one another.

"And I think that he has that ability. The other word that I would kind of getting into more of his coverage ability because we talked a lot about the return skill. Sticky, I would use the word sticky for him in coverage. He has that ability to play man to man, to mirror guys, to stay in the hip pocket to play that trail technique with the single high safety and run with people all over the field. And he's right in your shirt all the time. He's really difficult guy to get away from and he didn't run the 40. He didn't test because he had off season shoulder surgery that he said last night that he's going to be a full go for training camp. Most scouts, most people that I've spoken with think that he might have broken four four if he had ran the 40 yard dash of the combine. The low end is like, you know, in the low four fours, the high end was like that I heard was four three 7 four three 8 potentially. So he can fly. He's not Jonathan Jones fast. I think Jonathan Jones was maybe even in the four twos or something like that coming out. But he's got enough speed there to play inside. Wow. I didn't realize he ran that fast. He's every year when you talk to the players on the Patriots about who are the guys winning the races in practice. You are the fastest guys. Jonathan Jones is always right up there. So I look at Marcus Jones, this is my favorite pick of the draft so far for the Patriots. I think this one made sense when they did it. You see the role that he's going to play, you see the fit in terms of the actual makeup of the player, right? The attitude, the work ethic, the dog in them that he plays with that on the field. I love the return ability. Reality is and we talked about this too. We talked about it a little bit with receivers. We talked about it when we hyped up Marcus Jones on the podcast before. Gunner is no longer here. The Patriots need to replace gunner as a punt returner. He also obviously returned kicks a lot of the times for the Patriots as well. They needed another return man..

"Can bait the quarterback. Santa wasn't huge. Like asante wasn't a big guy. He's obviously bigger than 5 foot 8, but just 'cause he's a different position, right? He's ahsante was an outside corner threw through, but it's the same thing where I think he's got a really good understanding of what the quarterback's looking at. Team is trying to do on the other side of the ball and read it and get himself in the right position to make the play, right? The T step, right? Is what that's called the T step. That was legendary. Asante Samuel, where he looks like he's out of position, puts his foot in the ground, cuts in. There's like three or four of those picks on Marcus Jones tape. Yeah. Yeah, asante Samuel made Bill Belichick a believer in the T step. It's a gamble, right? Right. If hit or miss, you're either picking it off or you're getting beat for a touchdown. There's no in between with a tea step. And again, playing in the slot doesn't necessarily lend itself to being able to do that. Yeah. But Marcus Jones apparently has he had it figured out in college. We'll see if it carries over the program. Well, he played everywhere in college. He played outside. He played slot. He paid a little bit of safety. We obviously know, I'm sure people that have one last night. I was watching last night. I think it was against TC or I can't remember where he's playing the slot against against power 5 school. He goes T step from the slot, picks it off, hurdles and offensive linemen on his way to a pick sex. I think that single play is like the epitome of what Marcus Jones is, because then there's the kicker turned element. And I'm going to try not to get my hopes up. And I honestly hate these comparisons because nobody should be compared to these two players. I've seen and these are from reputable land sirloin, NFL dot com. Dante hall, comparison, as a returner. The draft network had Devin Hester. Those are the two greatest returners of all time. That's the greatest career returner. And the guy who had his peak was the single best kick returner in the history of the game. Yeah. I'm not going to come out here and say he's either But even gunner, he was coming from detail, right? And who are the other guys they've brought in that were like hailed as returners? They weren't. So they've been named that this kind of returner in a while. The name that Jim nagy, the director of the senior bowl throughout, which is going obviously a back of ways in terms of draft and all that kind of stuff. But he mentioned Troy Brown as an interesting one because Troy Brown came into the league, obviously more gravitated towards wide receiver, of course, not corner, but Troy Brown came in with disability like Marcus Jones to play in three phases. Marcus Jones has wide receiver tape at Houston. Now, he's not watching. Yeah, he's not a wide receiver. I think maybe the bears, I threw this out last night, Chicago, they used to use Devin Hester on end rounds and stuff like that, occasionally, to get him on the field and get the football in his hands on offense..

"To what the organization values. Again, whether you think that's right or wrong. This isn't a defense. But I'm just saying, I don't, you know, the inconsistent production and the less than developed route tree, I believe it or not, I don't think patriots care about that. I don't. I think they're 5 that. I think they found a guy's four two 8, where they put the ball in his hands. They haven't run down the field. He's going to run away from people. Macro said it. If you want speed, you have to draft speed. And by the way, I loved how fiery macro was last night. They're not wishy washy on these picks. They truly believe in these kids. And that I don't know that that's been true for all of their traffics. And what I mean when I say that is, Dave drafted guys that never really given them a shot over the last few years. They've buried a lot of their picks. Yeah. Matt grows into these guys. He believes they're football players. He believes they're playmakers. That these guys are going to get a shot. These guys have people fighting for them in the building. That means something. Yeah, so taekwon thorin 50th overall pick. I'll wrap it up on thorn on this. I think that number one word that I have heard in New England and around the Patriots when it comes to their receiver play pass catchers in general is separation. Everybody is clamoring for guys that can actually separate. And when you watch taekwondo on tape, you see a lot of separation. This guy gets worried at the top of the scouting report. Yeah, and that I think is something that people can get on board with. The rout tree is limited. The technique is limited. This is not somebody that's going to get open at the top of the route and run a really nuanced break and Julian Edelman Wes Welker quickness or anything like that. Different type of cat. But separation down the field is separation down the field and he can still do that. So I think that that's exciting for people. All right, let's move on to the 85th overall pick in the draft for the Patriots Marcus Jones from Houston. I get his 5 foot 8. That's gonna give people some pause, but this kid is electric. Electric nickel slot corner and electric punt returner and kick returner. Everything that he does is fast, everything he does is explosive and I truly think when I, when I watch him play at corner, I really think that he's got the speed and the foot quickness to play a full-time slot role in the NFL and be somebody that could potentially shadow a tyreek hill. Shadow jaylen waddle, a run across the field with Isaiah McKenzie..

"Tackles. We took a player who won't start at 91. That's why it gave us an F okay, well, he's going to start at left guard. So if he's in there, I mean, it's still probably gives us a C because it's PFF, but yeah. So the Patriots, this is what they do, especially at that left guard spot, whether it was Logan macons, whether it was Joe tuni, those two guys and Zach Tom, all three of those guys are college tackles that are gonna move inside to guard in the NFL. Tom is one of those players. He's also played and taken these 37 games at wake forest, tons of experience, tons of reps away for us as important on the offensive line. He's also one of those guys that's played all four spots besides center. He can play anywhere on the offensive line, right side, left side, tackle guard. I think that's the type of guy that they're looking for in that spot. Not necessarily the interior trio versatility like Ted Keras, right? He could play center in either guard spot. I think more importantly in this draft that tackle guard, I think is something that they're going to look at, especially with Trent Brown and Isaiah wins injury risks. They might need to have multiple backups play tackle at some point in the game. I think Tom can play tackle and kick out in a pinch, but most importantly, ideally, a really athletic, a really good starting left guard for the Patriots. I think Tom is one of those guys you plug them in. He could be a card for his entire rookie contract and if they want to pay him probably longer than that. Yeah, I would agree with that. There you go. Marcus Jones. Do you want to, do you want to start? Are we waiting for me? Yeah. We don't really have any format for this. Marcus Jones, yeah, so Marcus Jones was a unanimous all American defensive back, by the way. See, people knock him in coverage. All American unanimous defensive back. Fantastic ball skills. Yeah, I mean, totally ball hog. I think you had like 20 interceptions or something like that in college. Yeah, he led the AAC in past elections last year aside for leading picks. He's like, what? 5 8 one 70? He's a little bit bigger than that. He's like 5 8, one 80, but yeah, here's the point. If he's slightly bigger, if he's like two inches taller and ten pounds every reason for first round pick and nobody thinks twice about it. Yeah, he is 5 8, one 75. I think 5 8 one 75. They'll bulk them up. They'll get into one 81 85. He plays bigger than that. He's a willing tackler. Jonathan Jones in a contract here. We saw what happened late last season when they don't have a starting caliber slot corner..
