"They're here to help Steelers with the bolt move up from twenty two tenths of the outstanding linebacker from Michigan Devin Bush, those are big shoes to feel Phil Ryan chased year healing. All right. We're in grading drafts. So grade the Steelers stem while other people like that pick for the reasons you mentioned, you think about is in the inside linebacker. Ryan shazier, kind of also just when you look at the way they're trying to remake the inside of that defense. Maybe it's a little bit more speed. And so. Doesn't push it. Obviously, a big time impact player some people think going, you know, early on inside backer. But if you can be a difference maker kind of be the captain of that defense inside you can see what teams lose when they don't have that fly a lot. So when I look at the draft of that. To me. I pops up here. I'm going be plus for the Pittsburgh Steelers in the draft not a B plus for the draft outfit for Devon Bush. That That was was. aggressive drafting giving him Murphy. It was definitely memorable. What did you think? When you saw it. I mean, let's be on memorable. What did you think of the draft solo Bush reminds me of player we had it the Bjork jets, David Harris? Ironically, also initiating guy, but Bush could really run and he's going to be three down linebacker, and they weren't able to replace Ryan cheesier. So nobody likes to give up the draft capital that they gave up, but when he fits your scheme, your culture, he checked every box to be that was good train overall. I would agree with him. Then it's a package, right? So the package with free agency. What do you think infringed, and I'm gonna end up being fairly critical these guys, although I will say like that guy. Like, Dante Moncrieff, I think is a is a nice signing. Mark, barron. Still runs further wells, isn't that? When you look at the guys that have left the building. I mean, it's a massive amount of production. I mean, I don't care whether it was your fault or not lazy on Bill was a Pittsburgh Steeler. One of the best was versatile backs in the game. He's no longer there. Antonio Brown's production has basically been second to no one. And now he's with the Oakland Raiders. And so. Taking that stuff into consideration grading what they did. I would give him a c I just when you have that much production walk out the door. Even if you were doing everything in your power to try to keep them. I get they could be a distraction, but you're basically saying Antonio Brown over one hundred catches over twelve hundred yards double digit touchdowns stuff. Doesn't just grow on trees. Yeah. And it's this is things that sort of happened to them. Right. I mean, the Brown and Bill situations were in the end could be relationships have been repaired. Probably not. But yeah, I I think you can you can certainly downgrade them just for the departures Marcus Gilbert was on everyday traded. There's been a lot of continuity on that offense of wine over the years, but fundamentally those two guys you go back to years Antonio Brown. Levy on bell may have been the best in the league at what they did. So there's a lot of pressure on the guys coming in to succeed them. Fortunately, James Connor and juju Smith Schuster both showed last year that they can deliver. They lost Mike Montek. From the that hurts thing from a quarterback perspective leave on bell in the passing game. Really good receiver. I think that's actually where he's going to help the jets as much as running the ball. So I agree with the great of C. But I think I'm Bill is underrated receivers well running. Let's move onto the division rival. Let's move onto the Bengals Mike. Wait. I'm sorry bowl or forget my predict well, listen last segment bikes head give me Mike Tomlin. Ben rothlisberger. Ben Rothlisberger will have a career year statistically fig about that. Ben Rothlisberger this past year. Three thirty four touchdown set picks and through for over five thousand yards. I just think they're going to rely on them a lot James Connor had a good year..

"And I like him as a prospect. I think is great, but context of everything and then Steve com gets fired. That's the most likely outcome of all of this. You know, I guess it's possible that he out of they mess around and win seven or eight games or something improve their record and he improves, but this is very risky for Steve. Now like in many ways, it would probably be like the team would probably win more games in the short term if they drafted Nick Bosa and or traded down and got a ton of stuff. You know what I mean? I don't know like they have needs across the board. I mean offense of line. It was an absolute disaster last year. No some of those guys are coming back from injury. But as we've discussed ad nauseam podcast. Nobody can name a single cardinals wide receiver other than Larry FitzGerald Christian. I guess, but Nope, he doesn't exist. And then the rusher. "They had in thirteen fourteen and fifteen when Bruce Arians with here they went ten and eleven five thirteen three after three season. They went to the NFC championship game where they lost to the Carolina Panthers. But from that basically that loss on crime has really struggled with draft picks with free easing c decisions. I mean, he let guys like Tyronn Massey's I signed time and Matthew two huge deal. When he was coming off in EC L entry got another injury. And then they let him a couple of years later. He lacks Claes Campbell walk in the next year. Claire Campbell has be with fourteen sex for the Jacksonville Jaguars. So he made a lot of questionable decisions from two thousand the end of the two thousand fifteen season on and I think that if this organization they would've fired him because you had three consecutive seasons. Of seventy one eight and three and thirteen by anybody's standards. That's not good enough that you know to keep it GM. So I I would very surprising. He kept his job. I do know that Michael Bidwill the cargo president he kind of he embraces royalty and see prime is doing in relation for twenty. Something years grew up in from the team of the scout. Now these him. But I I don't know if this happens again, I don't know how how he keeps his job because we, you know, and then it turns into a holding holding situation of they get new GM doesn't GM want clippers coach. But this could just be, you know, a domino effect that could last year. Yeah, it doesn't like it could be a brutal cycle where it's just, you know, constantly just overturning things for the sake of overturning very similar situation to the Browns may be, you know, earlier over the last ten years or so before they kind of settled things over the last two seasons. Many look. These drafts. Yeah. Even going back through through twenty twelve or what was I was. Kinda fishery appointed his GM are thirteen distant excuse me. So two thousand thirteen year Old Trafford's not great Michael Floyd. Jamal Fleming were the first who picks Floyd, you know, had had the off field issues, but twenty thirteen Jonathan Cooper, Kevin Minter, the first he picks Cooper never developed never really became a favourite of Bruce Arians. Kevin Minter service linebacker, but someone who moved on came back. A guy who come back, but a guy who was basically just a, you know, he's a half reg- inside linebacker twenty two in the first two picks NB canon, Nickless Buchanan fell out of favor over the last year or so once they did bring in Wilkes. And of course, followed aeriens out of town. Twenty fifteen z Humphries, Marcus golden, golden hurt. They drafted David Johnson third round. But Humphries has never been healthy and never really been affected as tackle twenty sixteen Robert and Kenichi Brandon Williams and can DJ Gannon guy who's not developed and Bernie Williams who they had famously on the field in that patriots game against Jimmy Garoppolo and got burnt. And then they haven't really trust him to play cornerback ever since twenty seventeen Assan radical Buddha Baker. That's better promising at least to some extent and twenty eighteen Christian Kirk was very good. But the number one the ten pick was Josh Rosen. A guy who you know, they have major question marks about. And maybe it should maybe they shouldn't. But because of all that because I didn't hit on those picks. They went. Out and they had to spend a lot of money in free agency. This office may went out and before he free to see even begin signed. Charles clay, Robert Alfred got a very big deal for guy really struggle for the falcons last year and then afterwards, Jordan Hicks, Terrell sucks. Darius violent Marcus Gilbert..

"Everybody. We're back here. Lewis and Logan show. Final half hour of the show. Michael Brown coming up at the top of the hour. And. I don't know if we talked about this earlier on your off again, I get a little confused about it sometimes, but I find it a little weird that the NFL has this this trading deadline where you can't do anything. You can't make any deals. You can't talk to anybody. But then all these traits happened before the deadline that you're not allowed to talk about until Monday fourteenth Wednesday. The fourteenth. Yeah. So we know the Broncos, according to multiple sources have made too big trades. I I just wonder who came up with the idea that March thirteenth is the new start for the new year that seems like an arbitrary date is the thirteenth fourteenth. Thirteen tuesday. I don't know is that a Tuesday. It's a third. I'm pretty sure it's the thirteenth. But here here's what I would say. So you are that there are it's wet stays at thirteenth. So okay. So so the league what happens now you have so many people that work seemingly round the clock to find out who's talking to who. And you'll call this front office person with this team, you know, if that's sort of your job is so they find out basically all these deals before the deals were sanctioned. So I think it would happen if they if they said, okay now, the New Year's going to we're gonna move that up to February fifteenth, then you'd have everybody dig it like in January. So I think I think the league wants to get the season done completely. Then they want a little bit of time. So that we do exactly what we're doing nationally. We sit here and talk about all these deals, you know, before they're actually announced. So then they get up. They get a hit when they're announced that the NFL has been very smart and how they have sort of set up their entire year. To where people that covered the NFL virtually we're talking about the NFL almost year round. So you're saying this happened is always happened. We just never heard about it. Yes. I'm saying that back before there were there was such intense media scrutiny in social media in particular, these deals were consummated in just not announced. But the public for the most part never heard about them interesting. So the Broncos were too big moves that they they can't talk about yet. That was Joe flacco, and that wasn't a trade. It was a trade a forgotten that was a trade in case keenum trade to quarterback trades before they can even talk about it. Officially I talked to John Elway last week we interviewed him at the combine Steve atwater. And I and I said look last Alex got traded Super Bowl week. And they couldn't talk about it for six weeks. And I said there are other trades in the air. So I didn't put them down on flacco. You're on the competition committee any kind of cut me off. Because now there's rules proposal that we're going to discuss because war, not even sure why we can't talk. About this. If all parties have agreed the league signed off on it. So when the competition community gets together and a couple of weeks in Arizona, maybe wants trades executed. They can be talked about press conferences can be had just seems silly. Yeah. That's what I think it seems silly. Because why what's the point of that date? Then all of a sudden all the contracts can be just signed on that day, but all the deals happen before it. I just think it's an arbitrary date. It's been that way for. I can remember when the new year starts in the NFL the thirteenth today. Eric Weddell headed to the Rams looks like Rams got better than the back end of their defense. Tell you that I like Eric Weddell a lot. Looks like a twelve and a half million dollar deal. For Eric Weddell? And he's what thirty three four. He's he's up there. He can still play could still play smart. Good tackler runs. Pretty well. Even though he's played a long time. So I think that's a that's a good move for them. And then the Steelers now this is where it's kind of interesting for the Denver Broncos with the Broncos getting Mike much these Steelers former offensive line coach here to coach their line. I kinda thought they may end up picking up one of these Steelers lineman in it looks like that's not going to happen. The Steelers locked up marquees pouncey and Ramon foster already knew it wasn't going to be pouncey. But you thought it might be foster. But the Steelers obviously said, no, thanks, and then today, Marcus Gilbert there, right? Tackle agreed. They have a trade for him to the cardinals for a sixth round draft pick of that might have been a guy the Broncos would have been interested. I don't know what kind of money he's making. But I think under five. Just under five seems like that'd be a good deal for right tackle. Yeah. I honestly haven't seen enough of Marcus Gilbert to to have an opinion on whether or not he would help the Broncos at all. I I will say this. I mean that has to be the area of priority in the offseason whether free agent or draft because not that it's the only area of concern that you know, you gotta find a corner you'd like to find the linebacker. Maybe a tight end, but often sublime in in defensive backs Cornerbacks in particular, the two areas that this team has to have some answers to the questions before the season starts Jason Bill. Dear baby. Maybe they will bring him back Jared builder or Jared Valdez. Yeah. I mean, I think they would like to bring him back. If he if he's able to to play I keep hearing that there's a possibility that he might not want continue. But I I think if he wants to play I think the Broncos would love to have him back. Melik Jackson got cut by Jacksonville, a really popular and really good player for the Denver Broncos a few years back. Maybe the Broncos will take a look at him. He'd be too expensive. He's made his money. He's already made his money in Jacksonville. I think now just depends on where he wants to go. And what team he wants to play for? And then alleviate Vernon. Go to the Cleveland Browns Cleveland Browns. It sure seems like the Brown's got some momentum going right now. I think it looks to me like the Browns are counted. The place to be. And I know you're happy about that day. Yeah. I mean, I just want to see him get back in the playoffs. Right. Spent a long time. Yeah. They were driving covered wagons in Cleveland last time. Browns make it to a Super Bowl in the next couple of years. And obviously the Broncos wouldn't in that case. It would be calling him. Would you make an effort to go watch the game in the Super Bowl? These still preferences on you, go back to Cleveland, preferences, wondering privileges privileges privileges. Would you get a sideline pass? I think I could get a sideline pass. Sure because you get to go in the locker room. I wouldn't want to. I would. No, I mean, I wouldn't want him on the, Dan, honestly, Dave Brown. New jersey. Well. Day. Prowl giants quarterback. I'd better go go..

"Can you just be out there waiting in the, you know, the the small little wave pool at the beach? You're going to have to get out in the deep water, you're gonna have to make some make some moves you have to make some splashes. And that might mean trading way, someone you didn't expect I'm trying to think of player that I would consider his is a splash move. I mean, let's say they decided to trade an offense lineman. Whether it's a left tackle, or whether it's you know, maybe they try to they dump Marcus Gilbert. There's a lot of things that can happen your, folks. And we're just starting the offseason like y'all season is officially started. Now. But I hope that the Steelers look at this six Super Bowl by the New England Patriots. You know what? We can learn from them have they haven't yet. I'm not sure what they're waiting on in. We can also change the way we do things a little bit to make sure that next year is a different outcome in that is getting into the playoffs and making noise when you get there because let's be honest the Steelers patriots. If there's one thing that similar you're not gauged by regular season wins your gauged by Super Bowl wins period in right now that's doing the patriots status quo. They've been to the Super Bowl the last three years. I get to the dance. I mean, that's amazing. And then they win their six this time. I want to other last three. So you. People can talk all they want about the Kansas City Chiefs in the AFC championship game and deferred lining off sides. In the passenger the roughing the passer call on Brady, and they can talk about the saints and the penalties and stuff. Look, I get it. It's a frustration. Dole wants to see the patriots win. "I absolutely there's no way in. So you gotta ask yourself this Arete going to be that guy. That's going to be able to do that in pull that off and only time will tell but we'll see for all we know. Maybe Seret was the guy who salt Szucs? Instead, we don't know you never know. He might have been the one that say, hey, much check. This check out this guy. I think we can do. With him. Absolutely. There's so many things that happen by includes. We'll never know. I wish I did know because I find these stories absolutely fascinating drag on you have to get better at finding out this kind of stuff. Is. Gotta have these connections. I gotta figure something out because you know, I think draft stories are some of the best stories when you talk about these these phone calls that happen that wheeling and dealing and will will give you this for that. And next thing, you know, bam. He just has its is incredible. I I don't care. What team it is? You know, what I thought the story about Patrick Mahomes when the chiefs traded up to get him. You know, there was the story of Andy Reid called Mr. hunt into his office said we gotta get this guy. Now, those that's really cool. It's like a movie, and I love that stuff, and it cinematic, and it's awesome. So they there you go. There's a preview for the offense of line. There's a lot of question marks it could be status quo. They could keep Marcus Gilbert day could find a way to sign both foster and Finney in next to you know, here we are with the same tests are going into the nineteen that wouldn't be a good thing. It would be any never know. So got a couple quick stats for with the line. I'd fed. He's off the Brian. He might have seen them already on the website because he put him in in his in an article ready, but the Steelers offensive line gave up a sack every twenty eight point seven pacits that was second best in the league only to the colts the Steelers offensive line only had nineteen penalties on the season. That was second best to New Orleans who only had fifteen so that's a couple of good measuring points for the line. They were ranked overall number one by by by pro football, focus. They were second in passing and fourteenth in rushing offensive line. But that gave them the number one overall. Wow. They. Yeah. A good year for the office of line in for them to have a new only gave them a b B. I did because it did not because a pass protection for as much as the Steelers threw the ball. Then Ross's verbs was kept pretty clean one four six. I think it was. Yeah. I mean, how many times did he throw the football. I mean, my a lot sundered. And yes, when you look at it that way, that's tremendous. But I just felt that they I wish they had committed to it because it's not all on the offense of line. I understand. But the you just got to impose your Wilson times. And I always think back to that Oakland game yet. The worst rushing defense in the NFL, and you can't run the football. I don't care if his Jalen Samuels or not you have to be able to run the football new situations. And a lot of that comes off the play calling. I understand that. But they just they look on inspired that game. They just. I mean, when when you go out there, you just just watch the line of scrimmage during the game, you can tell and the offensive line just didn't somedays you just don't have it as a group, and they did not have at that..

"If I'm the general manager of I like what I see with Hawkins, then you know, what I can part ways as Marcus Gilbert. We can go into two thousand nineteen with little competition. See who gets at right tackle spot is it filed or is it a core. Four is. It Hawkins who's gonna be the swing tackle with. You know, whoever loses at that was going to be the swing tackle after that. So to good problem to have you know, what I mean? Exactly. And I think if Gilbert goes. It's going to be more. Exactly you said it's going to be more of a statement about what they feel about Hawkins. If you see Gilbert still stick around because they're still not sure there. But let's say the Steelers lose Gilbert foster and Finney boy, then who's your starting five. You've then you go. You go. If you lose falsely any you might have to file regard exactly you move five hundred guard, and you have to tackle in. There or your tackle ends up being. Second or third level free agent or something like that. Or that's who your backup is because you would need to have someone else at guard than if you lost both foster and Finney. That's why he can't lose them. Both you can't lose both you need to have the depth. But then again, you gotta guys playing time 'cause 'cause they're happy. He go quick question. Two players on the Steelers this season play one hundred percent of the snaps on offense. Nobody played hundred percent of the snaps on defense who to players played one hundred percent of the snaps all one thousand one hundred sixteen snaps on offense. And they were one hundred wave is one. That is correct. And. Gosh, his garbage time games. They pool guys out. Let me think I it wasn't. It wasn't foster was I'm going to foster was foster as over next foster decastro catcher, Mitch two games because of injury. Remember finished started two games for decastro. Right. Good. Good. About that. Okay. All right. Yeah. All right, good. There you go. And what what I think is ironic if you look at the total snaps played for the team. This is just something I stumbled across making, you know, seeing these guys played out of out of the snaps was the two of them also played seventy three special teams nap. So that gives what one thousand down here one thousand one hundred eighty nine snaps which was the exact same number snaps as drill Edmonds. All three of them led his team because of a lot of defense. And was he was the iron man for the defense. Wasn't. He played the most defensive second most naps defensively because Sean Davis even though we missed the last game. I missed Sean zone. I think six naps going into the last game. And then he missed the last game. So so Edmonds was second second. So he wasn't because remember he didn't play much the very first game this season. But when you add on all the special team snaps that he played. That's what. Helped him to catch up to everyone. So I just thought it was ironic that that it was the exact same number snaps. Someone coming from defense and offense and all that the shelter three haven't tied their you know, it's a good stat. Now, here's where I wanna go into because we didn't have this discussion with the quarterbacks because let's be honest. The quarterback situation is pretty much those three in how they shuffled themselves out after number seven is going to be debatable two thousand nineteen the off-season blood here. We have a position that is. Okay. What do we do? Okay. It's a free agency. If we're in the NFL draft will just merge together. If there's a position that we're looking to add. Where is it along this offense of line?.

"And there's a lot of people that believe he's ready to be a starter on NFL team. And he's great inside death guy. Can you bring both of these players back? That is the question that I ask myself can you afford to give Ramon foster a reasonable deal that's gonna keep him in Pittsburgh, and key BJ Finney who let's be honest would be a starter on a lot of teams as of two thousand nineteen can you do it? If you can that's a heck of a deal because you're giving yourself death in the interior. We're talking center and guard and you're also getting a proven. Commodity and Ramon foster back now Ramon foster has his weaknesses. He's not as athletic as the rest of the lineman. But at the same time he is typically as stout as they come in both the run game and the pass blocking game. He's not your typical pooling guard David decastro, he so let it he gets around the edge even pouncey fosters not that type of guy which may be limits. You a little bit. I'm not going to give foster a deal that's anywhere near if it's three years that third year is basically a look we can cut you. And we're not gonna lose anything. Would you wouldn't go beyond that? What you Dave? I mean, what how old is he thirty one. I think it is thirty. He's on the wrong side of thirty. I'm pretty sure I mean, he's he might be more than that. 'cause they beast thirty one for some reason I'm thinking he's been around longer than he is keeping them. Both would be great. But it's also you gotta think realistically. And then you gotta think about who. You would rather have. Kind of makes me feel like munch aci- Seret where you're like if you're if you're if you keep the one, you're probably gonna lose the other. But if you lose the one, you gotta do everything you can to keep the other. So I don't know how it's going to play out. But if either one of them are gone, I wouldn't be shocked to see him in Denver. I agree with that. Now. So is that if you'll you'll get an inkling of this on on what the Steelers do by how they handle any because I think he's a guy they can lock up first. So they give Finney deal when he signs it. Then they're basically telling foster like, look, we'll wa- for you this. That's it. You know that that's our deal because we've we've already locked up the future so to speak if they give Finney a four year deal, which is not out of the realm of possbility. He's still very young. I wanna say it's only his third year in the league. So he's got a lot of years left. He doesn't have a lot of tread on those tire so to speak. So how the Steelers play their cards early in this new league years gonna show a lot in terms of how they're going to approach Ramon foster in free agency. But let's go to another player on the office of line who is still under contract, but could be released slash cut. I don't know if it'd be a post June first as. Nation rating like that that would be Marcus Gilbert Gilbert, as I said earlier has missed four games and he's played in the last two years. Whether it was the knee injury this year the suspension last year, he said other ailments that have kept him off the field. Dave, you're the general manager. Kevin colbert. What are you doing with Marcus Gilbert? Well, I don't like we said before it went on the air. I think there's hardly any dead money that goes along with him if you were to just release him outright. So you just gotta decide if you really wanna even pay him the money. You're gotta pay him to be there or just say, you know, what we have other options that are just as good less expensive. And we can go with it. About the time they cut Gilbert is when the is when you have a season where their offense of line goes down dude injury. It just seems like that's probably what's what is going to be. But I really don't see any reason to bring him back. It's just it's not that the Steelers really could use the money, but there's better ways to spend it than that..

"But at the same time, you still want someone that's going to be able to get garner their attention, keep their attention have respect. And I I would hope that the Steelers did that when they before they pulled the trigger on promoting him from assistant to you know, the offense of line coach the perfect person would be to talk to David decastro marquees fountains. Look guys on your thoughts. Here is this guy. Good enough to get the job done if they say, yes, you got my blessing. That's my theory. I think they did that the week before when there was a chance that muntjac was going to be of the head coach and Denver that had to be what what happened 'cause the plan was in place was it two hours after the report came on shack definitely was going to be the offense of line. Coach Denver that they announced the promotion of Seret. I mean, yeah, they knew what they were doing. They this was this was all planned out of Zach. What was going to happen? Yeah. So let's talk about that offense blindness. The preview show them. We're going to preview this offense group. You know, this is a strength of the of the Steelers team as as a whole especially for the offense. They they're coming off a very good season. Ben Rothlisberger was not sacked that much. I don't have the number in front of me. But they kept him clean for a good stretch of time. And I think about that six game winning streak that they had. And I wanna say there were games where it was a mystery games and told where they only given up one sack during that stretch is pretty amazing. And so you might have some turnover there now outside of munch. Heck, let's talk about some of that turnover. The the offensive line heading into two thousand eighteen obviously was all hundred on the waiver room. Ramon foster marquees pouncey, David decastro and Marcus Gilbert, very well-known very good been together for a long time. Might see some new faces. Now. So Ramone foster is said to be a free agent this season this off season, a Marcus Gilbert has missed more games. He's played in the last two years. So my question for you. Because everyone else is under contract Villanueva got his deal last year. Decastro got his two ago two years ago marquees pounds. He got his like, I think three or four he still under contract as well. So -mongst the starting five fosters a free agent in then there's this question Mark about Gilbert. Dave on asking you. Let's start with foster. I if you're the Steelers what are what is your approach to foster before heading into free agency. Do you try to get him locked up or how do you handle that? I saw report while you were on cleanup duty. And I was checking Twitter. Wait never start. I can't remember who it was from. But it was a report that that that that foster said that the Steelers of already told him that they would like to have him back. So we've already got that going. So they told him they want him back. I think they want him back at the right price. So I've heard you say several times, and I completely agree. You gotta get him back at the right price. You can tell him. This is what we would like to pay you. If you wanna go out and test the market and see if you can do better, we will allow you to do that. They can't tell them that they can't. But we understand if you want to do that. But maybe even say, hey. Let us know before you do anything else. I mean, I they don't have to say that. But I would I'd kinda like to have that agreement with him because he's a I mean, he's your he's your players association rep. Respect a guy in locker room. I think he's a good guy to have back. And I think they could really work together to see if they could make the best deal. It's gonna be interesting because if you look at the depth if you look at the fact that BJ Finney we talked about this right before we went on the air is believed to be an unrestricted free agent as well..

"This is tough because I look at it as I always tend to look at the line as the left side right side and center, I thought Markey's pounds. He had a great year. He was a player that in my opinion. Was you know, never really where he was before he broke his leg. Maybe she doesn't fifteen when he broke his leg in the preseason. And everyone thought he was going to be able to come back turns out he had to have all these skin graphs in his Loss's leg, all this stuff. Never came back. It seemed like it took him a while. But let this year, and he's a pro baller. Second team. All pro rightfully so I thought he played a tremendous year stayed healthy was really a prominent role on that for of front and a really big factor for the Steelers moving forward. He has said he will play as long as Rothlisberger does to hopefully that is the case because they're going to need it him. And then let's look at the right side. You know, the right side, you got to Castro you've got Matt filer and Marcus Gilbert, Marcus Gilbert for me, and I've said this before on the show is one of the biggest disappointments we're talking second round pick. We're talking all at one time people were considering him as a Pro Bowl slash all pro talent. You saw him shut down the guy like von Miller. And you're thinking man, this guy's just really really good. He's going to be that, right? Tackle for the future. And now he can't stay on the football field period. Whether it's suspension last year the knee injury this year. I can't follow guy forgetting hurt. But at the same time when it happens over and over again that has to play a role in how you kind of you that so filer stepped in. And I think did the fan base really clung to him the cool nickname the anchor young ki-. Out of nowhere bloomsburg college or university. And you look at it and say, okay. Well, you didn't have high expectations for this kid. And he got a lot of help. Do you? Go back and watch these games especially against Detroit. Dumps are Denver with von Miller. They were chip involved. All the time is just really he have to help the guy out. You're not going to expect him to win on an island against the pass rusher. Like that. But I thought he did well just jumping in in that time you could throw in Szucs core for as well he did play game. I thought he did very similar. They helped him out a lot. That's what you're going to have to do with young tackles inexperienced tackles. So if in that case, the they did okay to Castro. I think he's the best in the game. People talk about other gourds. But in my opinion, he's the best there is absolutely stout. In pass blocking a monster in run blocking. When you see him. Fooling around the edge. You just have to think that man these whether it's a linebacker whether it's a defensive act and they see him coming around. They have got to be you know, what in their pants. I mean, it has to be a very frightening feeling but still he's about as good as let's go to the left side. I'll a hundred Villanueva tackle Ramon foster. They've Ramon foster. He's gonna be an unrestricted free agent in the if you're in the live live chat right now. What do you think about the Steelers and Ramon foster should they bring him back? Should they let him test free agency? If you do bring him.
