Los Angeles - California GOP Defends Use Of Unofficial Ballot Boxes

"California Republican Party has less than 24 hours before it has to remove all of the unauthorized ballot boxes. It put in place is mandated by the state government cease and desist order. The state GOP says it's now changing the label on their ballot boxes to say they are. Unofficial. Democratic lawyer Marc Elias says the GOP has broken the law. California law is clear about the chain of custody that needs to be maintained in order for Third party lawful about the collection should be undertaken and rogue efforts by the Republican Party to mislead voters by labeling them official is not cured by now mislabeling those some of those same drop off. Democratic congressman Harley Rudolph Newport Beach also warns there will be consequences to committing voting fraud. A person in charge of vote by mail ballot who knowingly And willingly engages in criminal acts related to that ballot, including but not limited to fraud, bribery, intimidation and tampering with it. For failing to deliver the ballot in a timely fashion is punishable by prison by imprisonment for 23 or four years. Now, state Republicans say they are considering expanding their use of unofficial ballots, saying that a 2016 state law in California allows a voter to designate any person they want to collect A completed about and return it. "But you know in every post-election, there are some number of cases that get filed because there is some oddball circumstance or some set of unforeseen events over the counting of ballots that that takes place for it to be another Bush versus Gore the election has to be exceedingly close and it has to be in. A in a pivotal state. So I never say never and certainly every two years I prepare for that, and we've had some very close elections in the Senate and some you know we had almost election two thousand and four Ohio or we I'm not almost we had a close election rather in into that volumes one but I meant to say in two, thousand, four and. Ohio and then obviously the three states in two thousand sixteen but you know that's that's that's I think how I think way too. That's encouraging because it seems like everyone is assuming for a fact that there's going to be a battle that goes to the Supreme Court in the case that it's a close election which it may be in you're not so sure about that. No I'm saying that in order for it to be a close enough election for the courts to make a difference, it has to be a really close election I mean like not close as in like two points close as in two tenths of a point and that's that's what I'm saying is that you know ultimately Senator Kerry lost in Ohio by eighty thousand votes and that was a close election, but it was not a close enough that any particular court decision was going to change the outcome of the results. So you know remember in Florida in two thousand we were talking about less than a thousand votes at issue in you know, right? If there are people who are listening who wants to be helpful to your efforts and efforts generally in the election, what is your advice to them? Should they become poll-watchers? Should they become poll workers? Should they sign up if their lawyers to volunteer for some efforts are accepting volunteers? Yes. Would tell them tell them what they can do. So here are a few things. The first is in two, thousand, eighteen, two thirds of poll workers were over the age of sixty and a quarter over. There seventy and obviously, you can only open pulling locations if you have sufficient number of poll workers. So there is a major push which I completely wholeheartedly engaging to have people who are able and healthy and young to get trained as poll workers you contact your local county officials and they can teach. They can tell you gotta do that. There's an organization gray orgainzation called power the polls you can go to their website and sign up and they'll connect you with the right people so. For people who are willing to do that. That's great I have a website democracy dot com where I track all of our litigation put out good advice. We also have a place where people can sign up for power. The polls also other another organization called the action which is for lawyers or for our through our website we people who sign up we will also direct them in the right place in which a website you say website again, democracy docket, dot com, and then. Finally, if you WANNA sign up for the Biden campaigns voter protection program, if you go to their website there is a link where you can sign up with your lawyer or lawyer to poll a poll watcher or otherwise help vice. President. Biden's campaign. You're also a member of the Special Litigation team announced it has among other people, former attorney, general, Eric Holder, your former partner Bob, our how is that separate from the efforts that you've been undertaking so far? So they ever So far have been. You know on behalf of a variety of political committees. I've brought lawsuits on behalf of the DNC, the Democratic Senate, campaign committed Dental Congressional Campaign Committee and also various progressive nonprofit organizations just as a private lawyer representing clients you know for the post-election period, the Biden campaign will be one of those clients So the work I do for them as separate obviously from the work I do for for other clients. Last question is there one election related case? That most proud of war he thought about the most you know you've been involved in a in a number of close recounts including Al Franken Two, thousand, eight in Harry Reid in one, thousand, nine, hundred, eighty does any one of those teaching more than the others? So this is a space surprise you but the case I am proudest of. Is a case actually just a couple of years ago we sued Mississippi Mississippi had a law actually state constitutional provisions. That required that in order to be elected governor or to other statewide state office, you needed to not only win the popular vote but essentially, you also needed to win a majority of the state legislative districts. Guy was sort of their own little mini electoral college, and this was put this law. This constitutional version was put into the state constitution as part of a racist of. Ouled racists like not hidden racists an effort to prevent the newly franchise black men that only men of Mississippi from electing their candidates choice. So the white population, Mississippi convenient emergency emergency state constitutional convention in the ninety s to do this and effectively was able to disenfranchise and keep african-americans from electing a black governor since then and there's ever going to block governor of Mississippi. Impart because of this provision and we challenged this provision and the court indicated that the provision was almost certainly unconstitutional was was what he was going to rule it unconstitutional gave the state of Mississippi an opportunity to correct it. So on the ballot, this November is a constitutional amendment. That will repeal that provision and move Mississippi to the normal process of whoever gets the most votes. Wins and it is actually the case I am most proud of because You know this was this was not about one election or one candidate was really a structural impediment in the Mississippi State. Constitution that had prevented generations a black leadership and so it is I on election day I are that after the trial will be checking a few results I'll be checking the presidency obviously I'll be. Checking the whether the Democrats have taken control of the Senate and then obviously the the lead the margin in the house, and then I'll be I'll be keeping is on this provision because I I hope Mississippians do the right thing in in in repealing that provision it has bipartisan support to reveal that provision. So I'm I'm glad about that So that's the case I'm proud of stuff. I lied I have one more question because I just thought of it and I don't know if you're involved in this at all. But Felony Franchise in. Florida. Is there any merit at all under Florida? Law to your knowledge? In the argument that Mike Bloomberg and others who are offering to pay the fines. And penalties of former felons violates the law so they're able to vote. Now, there's no merit I mean, there's no merit under state law. There's no merit under the federal vote buying scheme, which is the other thing that you hear Republicans talk about Mike Bloomberg is trying to do just one of those public goods that could be done in Florida, which is to help solve a problem that has been created by the courts, and by you know really cynical behavior on the part of the the Republicans in the state. So now I don't think there's any merit to it You don't think it'll be blocked. You think some of. Those people will be able to vote based on I. Think I, think the hardest thing is not the hardest thing about it is not the legal action. The hardest thing is that the system is set up very often that these folks don't even know what they right? Exactly. If you don't tell them go it's hard to pay it off. Yeah. We'd like it on the show before you go to a restaurant and you have a nice meal. So you can't leave until you pay level of what do we owe like we can't tell you right so you can't leave. Your imprisoned in the restaurant nobody would stand for that in any other kind of exchange interaction in the country but it is allowed to stand in Florida for these reasons that you've described. Correct. Marc Elias thanks for joining the.

"Programme. It is Wednesday and we've got a whole host of topics to get through. Let us dive into it with Lieutenant Governor Dan Forest joining us this morning. Hello, sir. How are you? Hello, Casey. Today I am doing fantastic. How are you? I am all football season football is in the air. It's just not in the stands sits in the air, though it's in some of the stands in a week. Maybe some stands. That's possibly by another study, insisting to see who gets to be among the 7%. Doesn't that sound like a science and number two, doesn't it? 77% not 10% 5%, not 20%, like most of the states around the country started with 77 and ah When? When asked about these numbers, they say, because it feels right. If you know, they said they talked to people Talk to people in the field, right? Yeah. Yeah, They talked to him and then they're like, Yeah, this feels right. And then that's it. You know, I had somebody call in earlier and they were saying why whiteness and Dan hit him back with their own numbers. Because you're not really You know what? I don't want to answer for you. Why don't you break down the numbers they're using to make decisions. So we do it all the time. I mean, pretty much people have to follow us on Facebook and Twitter. Where am I going to get that message out in the media going to cover my break down the numbers, you know that they don't have never have. So you have to do it on social media. And then what? You gonna spend $3 million to purchase commercials. Tio break down their numbers. People are smart people in North Carolina get it. They're getting it Morrell everyday. They understand that if this is politics and not science, and that there's a giant political agenda going on here, it's happening in all the Democrat battleground. States where they have the exact same plan as each other and they're following each other's opinion, science and political science. But yeah, the same thing's happening and all these other states. People are starting to wise up to that. We're seeing it all over the state cases. We as we go around the Carolina so Trust the people of North Carolina. Yeah, and and to be clear when it comes to the reasoning behind that you're not in those meetings. Right? You're not. You're not sitting there listening, breaking them down. What? I just want this about only because people are confused about this, and I had a guy calling so Yeah, I would assume that there's a lot of people that think there's some big government committee out there making these decisions, but obviously not behind closed door decisions on DH. I don't know that anybody knows who is actually in the room when these things are decided, But I don't think there's a whole lot of scientific discussion going on. That's for sure When we When we look at what's going on from a voting standpoint, we have this memorandum of understanding and just again to reiterate for people. I want you to understand how this cake is being baked. Essentially, a group of Democrats is suing a state run in from an executive standpoint by Democrats and their board of elections. And they are there, quote fighting it out. But in reality, they created a memorandum of understanding which would greatly expand the way that we do things surrounding absentee ballots, including Letting absentee ballots both postmarked incent or gathered. To have until the 12th. It would eliminate one of the two witnesses required it would expand the ability to fix it based on the most common air that's made, which is witnessed a testament On bears a few other things in here, boy, I'm sure glad that Governor. The governor was able to get us this great deal, Dan. What do you think of this? And where is this ad from finality standpoint. Well, you have to do is follow Marc Elias around the country and see where Marc Elias, his fingerprints are on all this voter integrity mess that he he tries Tio perpetuate. Uh, you know, he's always the guy behind the scenes when this stuff going on, so he's here in North Carolina in every battleground state. He's He is not doing these lawsuits in all 50 states in America. He's doing it in the places where there are battleground he's doing in the places where he could get a toehold in a stronghold because he was a Democrat governor who's actually in charge of the board of Elections, as you know. And then there's Democrat Attorney general is not going to fight anything. And you have a Republican General assembly. So some of this is contrary to the very laws at the General Assembly, just past, uh, just recently to try to protect our elections, And so now you're opening things up like The ability for fraud, fraudulent activity related signatures on absentee ballots. That is the you know that the witness piece of that really is the protection piece and so now Somebody could come in, and they don't have that signature on there, and all they have to do is sign and after David that you know they are who they are, and still don't have that information so people should be very concerned about this kind of activity. Think You know, you have to do everything you can to fight to protect you Voter integrity. That's what they photo Voter ID, uh, constitutional. And then that was about and the people nor kill Ana voted for that. And the Democrats struck that down on our governor stands against that, too. So Uh, yeah, Here we are. It's not over yet. Phil Berger, president pro TEM of the Senate and more speaker of the house are on that suit as well. And I hope they have a chance for their voice to be heard in this because they obviously do not agree with it. You know, one of the people. I think a lot of people because there's numbers and there's complexity to this. Don't pay attention, But when they're sitting in that gap that November 3rd two November 12 gap wondering Well, wait a sec. How come they haven't told us who won yet? I think that's one is going to hit a lot of folks and let's face it if you have until the 12th to do this. I've watched the lightness work when the Al Franken thing North Carolinians should understand that you're not going to get an answer till the 12th. You're not going to get fined. That'll be the earliest that you get finality and Pending lawsuits. It could be later than that, and and by then it's gonna.

That where they're doing the same thing in Wyoming? I mean, if this is about what? Hey, we gotta you know, we want to make sure no vote goes. Uncounted. Why aren't you doing this Wyoming? Wyoming has Count voters who might screw up absentee and has a lot of absentee voting. I might point out as well. Just on the regular just due to the fact that people live in a very rule setting. So I feel like there may be a little Motivation here. That's not really being reported on but is easy to pick up on. Yes, Allison. What's up? Um, thank you for taking my call. I just saw that twitter thing and I'm gonna have a hard time being serious about what? You're what the topic is, but this is very serious because it effects Every election. We won't know where the governor is. We won't know our councilmen are We want to know who our representative Why are we not screaming from the rooftops? And I think that'll be eye opening, But by then it's too late. It's late, so unfortunately right, well actually call appreciate it. Yeah. You told me the news off the air, right? "For the Democratic Party in in in our country. You sent me an email. Here you go here, it is. I guess we were talking about like volunteering as A. Worker, what steps do you think states can take to keep porkers safe? That way we don't have to worry about acting factors and spreading this disease. So, it's great a great question. One of the things that that states can do which will make it easier to have sufficient number of poll workers is to make it so that any you registered voter in the state can be pork or anywhere in the state, so that you don't have to be a resident of Cler, precinct or county, but that if you are trained poll worker in a state, you can work polls in the state. The second is that States can operate vote centers so that rather than having to go to the elementary school or the middle school that you're assigned to you to either any polling. Polling place in your county or two specially designated large facilities that have lots of space with with multiple tables and sign in sheets, signing places and alike where anyone from that county can vote, so that's that's good practice, even in in times when there is not a pandemic, because it allows more people to vote more quickly, conveniently with fewer people having to interact with one another but particularly in a time of pandemic those two things allowing greater easier recruitment pull workers across jurisdictions, and also vote centers interesting about the lawsuit that I mentioned that the trump campaign in the RNC. Filed in Pennsylvania, is they actually are trying to expand the ability of pull challengers so rather than trying to ask? How it goes up rather than. Increase the geography geographic footprint that poll workers could come from. They are trying to figure out how to make it easier so that there's a bigger pool of Republican operatives who can can can challenge people at the pulse, so they are suing not to allow poll workers to come from any county, but to allow Paul Challengers to come from. That's not that's not good. That's that's that's. That's not what we want all workers to be able to. And you? Do, you have any specific questions any questions at all for for Mark Sore so whenever Raja and I were talking about how we might advance the our campaign for your mail in Ballot we talked about how a big thing that we would need is to.

You mentioned in your book. I like you were able to like form close relationships with people across the aisle to help reduce the divisiveness that you saw. Yes, no I mean there are certain issues that weren't that partisan that you could get some agreement on crisis intervention training, which is training for police to recognize when they're confronting a situation. That is energized by mental illness, but that was that was Kinda. Yet you know when I first got. There a number of the veterans. Law, which is a little ironic, because reason, Rogers and Anna are with me. Is that Roger emailed me tell me that he wanted to vote by mail this November because of covid nineteen. He and Anna are very passionate about politics and public policy, and they like to vote by mail, so they don't expose themselves to the coronavirus, but the Texas Governor Greg Abbott and the Texas state legislature. Don't want Roger and Anna to vote by mail because they suspect that Roger Anna are up to something. They think there's a good chance at Roger and Anna are going to commit voter fraud and steal the election for Joe Biden and downtick Democrats. See Right now in Texas. Law Is that you can vote absentee or vote by mail, only if you're over sixty five or have some medical condition that might make you vulnerable to dying from Covid nineteen turns out that governor. Abbott is like donald trump something of a genius about keeping covid nineteen hundred control and when Abbot. And Cova cases in the lone star state, and the ICU's in Houston are are now packed beyond capacity so governor Abbott has reversed himself. He's the lawyer that hired or was the cutout money man for Christopher Steele to right? The Trump dossier Marc Elias, by the way, you may not know this Marc Elias is the democrat lawyer that found Alfred votes in Minnesota in the trunk of a car. That's the guy. The Democrats have sent down here the handle this Marc Elias told the daily caller news foundation. The lawyer who was present was not someone we had authorized to make such an objection non citizens cannot vote and US elections. So he's trying to take the high run because they got caught they got caught trying to count the votes of non-citizen Elias as a democrat can't come out democrat lawyer cannot publicly come out and say that non-citizens vote should count he'll work behind the scenes to make sure that happens, but he can't publicly say it because. Remember, the impression here is Republicans are somehow trying to deny people democracy Republicans are trying to deny people their vote Republicans are trying to deny people their citizenship. Republicans are trying to deny people their right to participate. And it'll be that that will be used to justify the votes of non citizens, whatever it takes to counter these suppression efforts being engaged in by the Republicans when the Republicans are sitting around twiddling their thumbs not even really aware. "His lawyer said that a non citizens should vote. That's one number two. He's gone to trial and said that fraudulent ballots should be counted. Ballots have already been thrown out because they were not done properly. He said though, she'd be counted. It was Marc Elias from the sleazy law firm of Perkins coup with the dossier and the hookers peeing on beds and things like that that sent that Perkins who sent their boy Marc Elias down there to Florida to be part of the corrupt effort to steal elections in Florida, and he had to Mark Elias had to say, no, no, no, I am representing the Democrats. But our other lawyer was wrong, we can't count the votes of non-citizens, even though our legal team made the argument that we should count the votes of non-citizens because this is the democrat party project in microcosm and the macro. It is the open borders the caravans there is nothing. To see here. There are a thousand miles away. They're not going to rush the fence when they get here. You know, Jim Acosta's part of the democrat party's efforts here as well, all of CNN, actually, governor Scott again on the ninety three thousand votes that emerged first off we won by fifty seven thousand votes that night. So we know that since then just in these two counties ninety three thousand new vote showed up. How did that happen? We know the British type said that she ballots it she knowledge knows they were illegal. She mix them in with legal about Twee know that happened. Okay. She said, they she she said, they did it. We know that they tried to start can't cop out after the deadline. We know that we know that these are things in his true. These are things that are known that have been established. As fact, President Trump got the news media roundup because he dared say something obvious all of a sudden they're finding votes out of nowhere. Take a look at the total dishonesty of what happened with respect to Rowan county. And why is it that just these two counties and all of the United States of America where these key races for governor of Florida, which is a key state in the twenty twenty election and the Senator from Florida Keys state in the twenty twenty election and key votes in the Senate for things like supreme court justices when Ruth Bader Ginsburg decides that she's got to retire and all of that good stuff, and they're oh, we're mixing provisional ballots, and there is a lawyer for the left. His name is Mitchell burger, and he's a democrat party hack, and he will say anything and do anything, and then he looks kinda creepy too. He was on the television, Prentice nights might the under in person and person might have too much. Thrust upon or suddenly, I don't think there's anyone who thinks she is dishonest. Really? Oh boy. I'm Michael Percy's resing has had millions of people think she's dishonest and lacks integrity. Millions of people, and it was Brennan's nights might be under person. He didn't want to say undermanned because that would be sexist. They Republican lawyer William Shearer had another view altogether. She allowed to vote there were thirty Evan. The came in people voted twice if somebody cheats commits a felony pets should their first vote count. Don't think. So I think they ought to distract them. All. Welcome to. Broward county. That's exactly right. Welcome to sunny Broward County, and then MSNBC brought on I'm a mujahideen that's his name as name as I'm a mujahideen. And but everybody knows him as I'm a mujahideen. He's frothy. Anti Israel is the guy had to be pulled out of Israel because he's such as jihadi for the jihad, and such an anti Semite and anti Israel voice that NBC had to pull him out of because it was so obvious in so flagrant. And then they get a promotion because they're anti Israel anti-semites too. By the way, the peace loving Palestinians fired seventy rockets into Israel from the Gaza today because you know, as the democrat party likes to say, the Jews have no business being there in the first place and who's arming them. Well, with the help of William Ayers, and Bernardine Dohrn, they're getting rockets into the HAMAs terrorist organization, so they can kill Jews and. Here is I'm a mujahideen on the idea of stealing votes. He's a little confused. You think of the words that are being used steel your automatically think of theft robbery? Ultimately leads people to think that they should take action to defend themselves..

We all know, what is going on every person Florida knows exactly what is happening. Their goal is to keep mysteriously finding more votes to election turns out the way they want. Meanwhile, Nelson attorney Marc Elias got acts out of desperation to stop the balance that don't help him. He himself said that ballots are being counted. It is it is tight. And then he made some veiled threat or suggestion that he was going to somehow involved. Rush Limbaugh over line Friday, e I b I wonder what election night with a look like the Republic Republicans are going to pick up to maybe at the outside four Senate seats. I wonder I wonder how many people started getting lazy? Well, we one group at started moving while the Democrats said the hell with that and started immediately doing what they do finding ballots demanding at all the provisional ballots. Be counted. Just a review ahead to hurry. This in the last segment Marc Elias is the lawyer at the fusion GPS hired Perkins. That's that was part of proving trumpet colluded with Russia. This guy Marc Elias, a lawyer he's been sent down here. To run the Bill Nelson recount effort in the Senate race. And so Trump tweeted from Air Force One he's out there over the Atlantic. And he's tweeting as soon as Democrats sent their best election, stealing lawyer, Mark Elias, Broward County, they miraculously started finding democrat votes. But don't worry Florida. I'm sending much better lawyers to expose the fraud. It is kind of comforting. All I've got to mention this before I forget it. We had I because I didn't spend enough time on this yesterday. Roof Ruth, Ruth, buzzy Ginsburg is you know, she broke three ribs. And some other kinds of injuries in a fall the other day. Remember, the story was that leftists all over America were volunteering to send their own ribs, and any other needed internal organ, and we laughed about it. But. Folks, they are dead serious. You realize what these people will do for their? Ideology. I will guarantee you that ninety nine percent of the people offering Ruth buzzy Ginsberg's their ribs would not do that for somebody in their own family. No, no. They are dead serious about this. They know how important the supreme court is it's a whole ballgame. As far as they're concerned. And if route buzzy Ginsburg can't go on for some reason, they're offering get this. You know that airhead actress Lisa Milano? Are you ready for this? We fought stupid was joy Behar accusing the Republicans of gerrymandering Senate districts. Try this. Actress Eliza Milano just offered to donate both of her kidneys to Ruth buzzy Ginsburg, both of her kidneys. You could not make this stuff up a few tried. She has offered to die. Although I don't think she knows this. That's what makes it funny. She's offered both of her kidneys. And now the story is that route buzzy Ginsburg after having broken three ribs is up at about and walking around and working. And so you left us not to be concerned Ruth buzzy will soon be back to her exhausting Rb g workout that none of us could dare keep up with. Now back to Florida. Here's the story on the teacher discovering ballots left behind in a Florida polling site. Now. The story has another added ingredient. Because this story also shows. How people who voted via provisional ballot? Got caught trying to vote twice. And you'll note that the provisional ballots are always assumed to be one hundred percent democrat. And who's to say, they're not who's to say that the Democrats don't send a bunch of in eligible voters to show up can't prove that they're registered or eligible, but they let them vote on a provisional ballot. No doubt. This is what happens. A Florida teacher says that she discovered a lot ballot-box behind it. A polling site in Miramar teacher Lakisha. Sorry Lakisha sorry told the south Florida sun sentinel. It's a Fort Lauderdale rag that she came across the ballot box on Thursday afternoon and said that was located in the same area at sunshine elementary school where voting had been held earlier in the week. It's funny. How this happens every time? Democrats need a few more votes. And it's also funny how this is always happens in one of the most liberal counties in the state, isn't it? It always happens. Moreover Broward county's elections. Supervisor. The previously mentioned Brenda Snipes has a long history of destroying ballots and violating Florida election law in two thousand sixteen for instance, Brenda Snipes was found to have destroyed. Untold thousands of uncounted ballots. And this woman is in charge of Broward County still. Now, the teacher Lakisha sorry said she was concerned the box which was labeled provisional ballots might have contained uncounted ballots. She decided not to meddle with it. Really? She said she it was labeled provisional ballots might have contained uncounted battle. She decided not to meddle with it. Now for starters provisional ballots prove the democrat lie that people are not allowed to vote without an ID because you can show up at any polling place and not be registered and not have an ID. And and they will let you vote on a provisional ballot. Sorry to be repetitive here. But I want people to understand the provisional ballots are the last to be examined because they are cast by people who haven't been able to prove that they are eligible voters. And we have people like Gillerman others count every vote count every and the provisional ballots. Isn't it interesting? How they always end up being a major factor. In reality people without any ID or voter registration are always given provisional ballots, and they can't unless somebody is on the ground to challenge them. Which very rarely happens. Now, the teacher Lakisha sorry since she contacted her friend Democrats state Representative Chevron Jones teaches happened to have a friend. This just reminds me of. Way back in Florida. An elderly grand couple. Were driving around the state of Florida. And you know, what they just happen to have a radio Cadillac, and they just happened to have a radio in their Cadillac that could overhear cell phone calls. In the elderly grand couple overheard, a strategy call between John bainer and Newt Gingrich. And they thought that they were listening and in a moment of history. So they recorded because every Cadillac has a radio could pick up cell phone calls, and then has a recorder in the car to record the calls will they recorded the call, and they sent a call to the New York Times. All of that is illegal. You're not allowed us record people's phone conversations without their permission. Everybody knows that the New York Times didn't care and they published the call. They published a transcript of the call. And they literally tried to tell us that. A grandparent couple drives around Christmas time, and they were driving around think it was interstate seventy five in Florida, and they just happened to hear this call. So we're listening the history here. Mabel. Just now we have the teacher Lakisha. Sorry. Who contacted her friend democrat state Representative Chevron Jones, who the newspaper note, it was a close confidante of that. Wait for it. Andrew gillum. So Lakisha sorry. Contacted state Representative Chevron Jones, a good friend of hers. Who just happens to be a close copy of Tallahassee mayor and gubernatorial candidate Andrew gillum to see what she needed to do about her discovery. I think this is probably how the phone call went. How many votes does Gillan says he needs. How many how many in any case? These newly found votes should be discarded folks for starters. They were found past the forty hour deadline for reporting votes. They're found in a schoolroom. And that forty hour deadline is to prevent exactly this kind of thing. They just like the evidence that falls out of the chain of custody cannot be used in a criminal trial votes. That fall out of the chain of custody should not be counted. But they are the exact kind of votes that end up being counted found ballots like in the trunk abou- Franken's car, and who knows what the hell is going on out in Arizona. Voter fraud allegedly found in deep blue, Florida counties. The next story over one hundred provisional ballots were rejected in Miami Dade County on Thursday after election officials said that those people showed up to vote ace second time in the same election. According to a local media reporter. Stream aggressive red stamping at Miami Dade canvassing board as panel rejects provisional ballots from one hundred and eight people who showed up to vote a second time. That's the Miami Herald story from the so the people that cast provisional ballots at least one hundred eight of them in Miami Dade refound do have already voted and we're trying to vote multiple times. "Shrimp, nine FM one more really warm day with a high of eighty seven today. It's seventy five degrees at NewsRadio nine seventy WFL. A the Florida midterm election is far from over and it's getting ugly lawsuits Hanky. Stations of voter fraud and recounts all in the states future. As the vote totals are still coming in governor, Rick Scott is filing a lawsuit against the Broward and Palm Beach county. Elections offices accusing them of illegally finding more votes for his democratic opponent Bill Nelson every day since the election the left wing activists in Broward County have been coming up with more and more ballots out of nowhere. We all know, what is going on every person Florida knows exactly what is happening. Their goal is to keep mysteriously. Finding more votes to election turns out the way they want. Scott's also calling for an FDLE investigation into criminal wrongdoing. The Nelson campaign says it's an act of desperation by Scott who's watched his lead dwindle to fifteen thousand votes in part because of votes coming in from Broward and Palm Beach Nelson's lawyer says the incumbent democrat will win wants the recounts are done attorney. Marc Elias says there was a huge under vote in the Senate race in Broward County that means that revotes were other state races. But the Senate numbers are mysteriously low Elias suspects. There was a problem with the electronic scanners that can be corrected with a manual recounts. What we are likely going to see in a hand recount is a whole bunch of balance that for one reason on other either due to calibration issues or ballot marking issues, we're not counted that that will be counted. As part of a Hamry the secretary of state is morning all local supervisors of elections to prepare for recounts and the races for. Senator governor and Commissioner of agriculture. So here's the status of potential recounts in Florida, the US Senate race separated by fifteen thousand votes in favor of Republican Rick Scott, but the lead is shrinking his lead is just point one eight percent over Nelson, which would require a manual recount Andrew gillum thought his campaign was over on Tuesday night. But he's reconsidering after the numbers show him trailing Republican Rondi Santa's by thirty six thousand votes. That's a percentage of point four four that would call for a machine recount the democrat running for agriculture Commissioner to replace Adam Putnam has taken the lead in the race. Nikki freed is a head of Republican Matt Caldwell by twenty nine hundred votes that's point zero four percent. So a manual recount would be required in that race political experts. Isn't it man says it remains to be seen? If a recount will change the results because there's no indication how many male in and provisional ballots are still left to be counted..

"Marc Elias may not have known Bob Evans that well, but one person who probably knew him the best in New Hampshire is at gather, the owner of the bear brook camp store and the property or the barrels were found. And gallagher. Didn't wanna talk to me for this story. I spoke with him just once on the phone a few years ago. Now, he didn't sound happy to hear from me. He said he didn't have anything to add to the story. But we ended up chatting for a few minutes. Anyways. I got the feeling he was sick of being asked about the murders. He mentioned something about being misquoted, and that people including police thought he was a liar, then hung up. But some of that ad has spoken to is amateur investigator. Rhonda Randall not at first it took Rhonda years of pestering to get him to open up. Ronda says she would call Gallagher periodically to ask about different theories people were floating on her blog did anyone ever camp out on the property behind the store. Did you ever meet this person or that person finally one time he just got so annoyed with me, and he said, you're barking up the wrong tree? The person you need to be focused on his Bob Evans, bringing all this up because Ed Gallagher gave Rhonda that name in the summer of two thousand fourteen about two years before the Lisa case would point police toward Bob Evans. Ronda shared her notes from the phone call with me, according to those notes Gallagher told Rhonda about working with Bob Evans at the one back mill in some detail Gooding one story that still sticks with me. He said he came into the mill Wedneday and heard screams coming from inside an office when he opened the door. He said he saw Bob Evans lying on the floor. Bob Evans said he'd been napping on the floor because his back was hurting when Gallagher asked about the screams. Bob Evans, said that he sometimes had nightmares at Gallagher told Rhonda you'd never heard anyone nightmare like that. According to Rhonda's notes Gallagher also said in two thousand fourteen that he had not shared his suspicions about bother with police at the time Ron didn't make that much of all those people had offered up. Lots of names wild theories over the years, but still she passed along theory to state police in two thousand fourteen. And of course, a few years later in twenty seventeen Rhonda would realize that at Gallagher was right? It was bobbins which raises the question if Ed Gallagher had a hunch, the correct hunch about who was responsible for the bear brook murders. Why didn't he tell someone sooner one thing that he said was that his wife never want him to get involved in this? She told him to stay out of it that he would be blamed for it. And it wasn't until she was really sick. They even mentioned that to me. And then you know, she died that November. And so whether that has, you know, kind of freedom up a little bit, you know, hard to say, I've wrestled a lot with just what to make of this. And it is totally possible that Ed Gallagher knows nothing more about the case. Then what he's already said totally possible that after years of phone calls from Rhonda just blurted at a name to satisfy our any happened to be right? And I know that. Raising this question in the story. I may end up subjecting Ed Gallagher to the very things he complained about in our short phone conversation that people will hear this and think he was somehow involved that I- improving his belated wife, right? But in the end, I decided we should raise this question because I think it's reasonable reasonable to wonder whether Ed Gallagher who was described to me as a friend of Bob Evans who hired Bob Evans to work at the bear brook store who allowed barrels to be dumped on his property who waited almost thirty years after the first victims or found to tell someone he thought he knew who did it and was right. I think it's reasonable to wonder whether he might know something else about the case and New Hampshire state police have interviewed at Gallagher at least a few times and he's given him his DNA. It's still I wanted to know if the fact that Gallagher had dropped the name Bob Evans years before the Lisa connection had raised any new questions for New Hampshire investigators..
