"Now with these televisions, you go through digital calibration. And so it does take a little bit of time. It takes a few hours to go across each profile. There's three different profiles you can tune on in LGC one. You can tune SDR HDR and then the Dolby vision profile. And we got through tuning like one profile. So we got through tuning Dolby vision, which is the one I use the most often. On cinema. And it is really a great way to get to that natural view. And the cool thing is with these televisions. On the LG, there's both the cinema mode and the cinema mode. They're very similar, but if you set up your calibration software to basically target and upload the file for the new values to one of the cinema profiles, you can easily switch back between the two to get a sense for like, well, in effect, how did your calibration turn out in comparison to what you were watching before. So you pick your favorite title you've watched a few times and you kind of flip back and forth between the calibrated and uncalibrated one. And with high quality panel, like an LG, we're not talking like, oh my gosh, if I don't get it calibrated, I'm not watching this television. They're designed and built to be gorgeous when you unbox them if you touch nothing. But this is one of those kind of like go the extra mile projects that can give you that little bit of edge and as a wise technologist in the average guy community once said, if you don't get a whole lot of time to watch television during your work week, would you really want it to be just all that much more special in the time that you do get to watch it? So it's just one of those kind of finishing touches to really get the full life and enjoyment out of the viewing screen. Yeah. It is one of those things too you don't know how bad it is until you've seen it. Good. Yeah. And then you're like, oh my God, how did I ever how did I ever look at that? But you don't know. And certainly on the Samsung that I have calibration would correct much more perceivable error to the I than something like an LG. Also, with those error of televisions, they were probably one of the last ones where the calibration is still manual. So it's not just going to upload a file over an IP address to your television with the new data file. That's crazy that we can do that to be quite honest as a consumer. That's pretty cool. That's kind of like a last three to four thing. Three to four years capability. But yeah, you can it depends on what type of television you have in terms of what the scope of the net effect of calibration will be for you. But even on high end panels, it's worth it's worth the time. All right, good. Glad we got that guy didn't forget that. Yeah, that would be a little bit of the show. John came down, right? To take care of that for you. So it's kind of nice about living close to him. I'd hate to see how out of calibration, like. But we don't know. We can find out. We can fix that. One, I never watch it. I've watched maybe 5 hours of TV out there. I just don't I just don't do it anymore. I can't imagine for me. I can't imagine sitting in front of a TV watching it. I want to be having something on and doing something else. That's just that's just what I do. But for Christian, there is no experience, like, and I think Alex said this a little bit earlier in the chat. Once you do this, you just don't want to go watch another movie again. You're like, why don't I go to the theater? Are you kidding me? Alex is just spot on not only that, but I tell people if you want to watch something that's not in Dolby atmos revision. Maybe another time. Obviously I'm kidding, but I get that excited when I see that badge in the right corner that says the vision is on and the receiver says atmos. I'm like, okay, good. I'm getting the investment out of it that I put into it. So yeah, pretty funny. Good stuff. Christian, you've given me a lot of time over the last month. Thanks for thanks for being on. We'll try and have you back a little more often and then we have. But certainly monthly with cyber frontiers. "Well, we've got warm weather ahead of that. You guys get a couple of days after we do. We will send you a little warm weather, and then I get cold again. But it's just Wednesday night. No, Tuesday night. I went out and did a fire in the back. It was like 50°. And I was like, holy cow. Well, of course, we got Christian Johnson. We'll post some great show notes out at the average guy TV, big thanks to air Lawrence, who stepped in. Mike had to step out last week and Aaron came in and we just really got about an hour with her. And she just nailed the content in about 50 minutes. And so big thanks to Aaron for doing that as well. Mike, everything everything's good on your end, as far as a car issue. I need to go bring the car back home and trying to see if we get it to start back up. So we got it home and we got everything figured out. And yeah. And this week, my car decided to act up. It's just been a car week for us, but things aren't good time. Too. I lost a battery. Yeah, it's just a cold. It just knocks that heat shield in the bottom of my Jeep to side to fall off. But it didn't decide to fall off. I decided to hold on by a thread and rattle, and I didn't know what was rattling. It was all this drove me nuts like four days. This doesn't sound good. Finally got under there and it was just hanging on by a thread. Christian, you guys have a Jeep, right? How's that getting? Is that getting you through the snow and such? Yeah, it's great. We have the Rubicon 2016 and that lime green color that they don't make anymore. They make hyper green, but they don't make or maybe it's the other way around. We have hyper green, and they have a weird lime green, but yeah, rock solid. Sweet right, I was out there a couple years ago. A year ago, I guess now is just a year and some change. And I'm super cool. A reminder we get started one we've been doing we've been doing or premiering the video on YouTube out of my YouTube accounts. Go to the average kite TV slash YouTube. If you don't, if you're new to home gadget geeks, Christian kind of helped me kick this whole thing off. Like ten plus years ago, Christian is it a little weird to be back? I mean, we had to back in the fall, but when you come back to home gadget georg is a little weird coming back or does it settle right in? It's never weird, but it feels like a kid I never had that left for college and you know it kind of comes back to see the parents once every 5 years. Yeah. There's maybe a little bit. Maybe a little bit of that going on. It's always good to get to catch up. It's do a little catch up on Maple Grove partners, Maple Grove partners kind of support sponsors, hosts, here at home gadge geeks and everything we do for the average guide dot TV. "Good to be life-changing if it goes the other direction. Exactly. That's what it is for me. It's money that could be watching, but you know what, if in the end, it actually did go to zero. I still can be able to eat my kids are going to be fine. You'll be fine. So I just don't watch anymore about the farm on it. So is it up down? I legit have not looked at crypto prices in about a week. Yeah. I'm hearing from a lot that are in that, they're just kind of like, listen, if you feel like you missed it, okay, now is literally okay. So it went down. That's my answer. Yeah. We're down. Let me look again. Yeah, now let's just get over here on coin. Yes, now it's definitely the time. So especially on Bitcoin. So don't forget we get that offer going on ten bucks after your first $100 purchaser trade. You get ten, we get ten and head over to the average TV slash coinbase. If you want to jump in and kind of join us on this again, don't do money, you can't afford to lose, and I'm not a financial adviser, and this is not financial advice. All that other stuff. But if you want to join us in that, it's kind of fun. Everything's on sale. And it is down. Yeah, yeah. I took some Mike, I always set aside some in cash for these moments. And then these moments happen. And I'm like, maybe I can go a little bit lower. Yeah. Yeah. It's a good time. It's a good time to buy. So hopefully, John, I was talking with John and he'd put some stop loss stuff in. And so you got to protect yourself. Be smart about it. Oh, there was a bunch of new coins where you can make 5 to $10 just watching videos. So if you want to get in, you don't want to trade your money and get in there, watch those videos, get coinbase's money. And mess around that way. It's not a bad way to do it. The average gay TV slash coinbase big thanks to Christian, of course, for hosting home gadge geeks, Maple Grove.

"Looking at After i burn the center to the ground yet. And i remember when he got that sentra. I think i was on campus. Pretty quickly after you got it new. I think yeah before that. I drove the ultimate. Which is the size out fairly bigger and it handled way better and snow but the center has been great at a at kinda commuter car. So you know listen. I drove an six honda. Civic hybrid for for fifteen years It it got me one trip out to see you last fall and stuggled khanate evade. It did make. It did come back with an oil leak. So that was. I blew something in there in you. Know going the speed limit or close to it for most for most of the trip it was a it was a super fun trip so i understand i also am a guy who buys cars and drives them into the ground however with this legacy that i just bought there is some thought if it's a five or six year old like i think i think we're gonna be making some changes infrastructure wise. I think the charging infrastructure is gonna get better. I think it's pretty good now Jim a shoemaker. In the chat saying you really don't want to do what doesn't want to do it because the is not. Were he goes. And that's a valid point right. I mean i think. I think were still on our way to it but i think we are racing our way to some pretty normal infrastructure for charging. You know you can kind of you. You really pointing gas station play. I'm sorry pulling in a charging station man. That's hard to get out of your roof. Caviar isn't it right Porn charging station. Put the charger on. Go in use the facilities grab a bite. The have a quick conversation charged they think or at least charged enough to get the next three hundred four hundred miles. Whatever that is so. I think we're getting close in. I just felt like you know. Get myself another five years. I think i'm pretty safe in that That legacy felt a lot. Like the tesla. When i was in it i mean the driving field with the exception of the incredible acceleration. Okay no cars doing that right. I mean you're you're paying big money for that on the gas side. But yeah i just christina just kind of felt like this buys me five or six years. The resale on those have been pretty good. Who knows will shoot the way used cars. Resale right now might be. That car just bought for profit. Yeah so go ahead. Now the You bring up an interesting point. About the infrastructure the infrastructure. I think certainly has matured in a lot of areas In fact one of the related products of tusla's looking at recently that does totally captivate my attention as the tusla power wall right because generators have surprisingly gone way down in cost like to install a full-fledged generak etc and if you have access to natural gas to power that thing I don't think there's been a more affordable time to put in a generator in quite some time The more pricier option is to go get tesla power wall where you literally have this wall. Unit that's connected to either A solar panel or solar roof tiles where the entire roof is solar tiles. Now if you want to get the solar roof you pay eighty thousand dollars if you wanna get the power wall with a normal solar panel. You pay around thirty thousand so like Pretty inaccessible for the average. I wanna back up my home Awesome dedicated power alternatives. However i could certainly see fifteen years from now infrastructure being such that it is in a competitive space with what it would take to install a generator in if that happens where the two are competing head to head. You could see a huge shift in the types of infrastructure available not just for those use cases but for the electric car industry right so it's like There's going to be that kind of battle for while word. Tusla was the one big company that suddenly made electric cars sexy right before that the volt in some of these other hybrids to me really identifying the market at all and then of course you know alon comes out of his usual left-field puts together something that people thinks is a sinkhole of cash And it's doing pretty well right. And i think there's still probably some investor is it a boom or bust stock in the whole nine yards. But you can't argue with the fact that in twenty twenty one. Yvonne controls the narrative of what it means to be an electric car on the market period And he's driving an infrastructure conversation in our country that i have never seen before. Which is Were tesla going to be moving our investments out of bitcoin. Because bitcoin doesn't mind sustainably. I mean can you honest to god. Imagine hearing statement like that five years ago like totally loony tunes right. But now we're talking about things like mining operations as infrastructure. Were looking at the sustainability of those things as part of our infrastructure So i think he he in my mind agree disagree like or dislike the products. He's one of the leading Thought producers in that space to me And as such It was really after the initial splash. That got tesla critical mass. Where i mean honestly. I drive around in maryland. I see a tussle everywhere. i mean. it's getting that interesting for folks that are in that space and i now we see the main line you know the fords the chevys the you know all the other companies are kinda now being like oh weren't electric car company. Look at our lineup. Like folks are finally ready to play the game Some aren't right like just like this is a joke. And so they Launched a I don't remember the name of the The van but they just launched a new van. That has a hell cat. Eight.

"Are working on Like an alert interface for mobile phone users and control panel users to be able to put their websites or other types of alerts that they wanna get and they can get notifications to their devices or paging alerts. They can use it for everything from customizing vacations about the platform to you. Know i wanna see what the stock price for You know whatever. Your favorite tickers for the day. That that kind of thing. So we're doing a lot of Kind of ad hoc development as as time permits and We're continuing to run the platform in a way that allows folks to run secure reliable high speed sites. Which is what we what we do what we promise. Rights get reliable high speed hosting for people that from people that you know you trust persuasive said every week We think last december we were talking about the the backup site. The the second. How's that working out. What would you. What have you learned in that process in anything. You tweaked in there as well. yeah Really some interesting lessons about you. Know when you're setting up kind of a primary and a secondary site which gives you this high availability for failing over traffic. There's kind two modes operation Most of the availability patterns that you see in this type of legit say web. Our highly available web architecture Particularly for commodity websites. That run on a lamb stack. Where it's php lennox. And my sequel database the replication and high availability solutions that are usually available There's kind of two ways to do it The first was when. I spent a long time trying to get to work in a way that i thought would be ideal which was Any data center site can take read or write requests for any given. customers database transactions. So like if a customer wordpress request comes and it could hit either side a right request could be processed and it would synchronized that change to all the other nodes where that customer is being replicated and sounds great on paper but the key with there is rule of three. And it's like well. What do you mean rule of three. While most of the algorithms that are designed for doing this type of cross node replication requires at minimum of three nodes because of a problem called split brain which is with if you only have two nodes and one goes off line. The other can't really quarry to understand like what was the state of the last transaction. Am i am i the the note ahead or my the note behind And so what happens in split brain is that if one node has a problem a two node solution. The other note is like i'm going into read. Only because i i don't wanna get my database in an inconsistent state from what my peer replicas so I've really tried to design the architecture. Such that We can operate customer availability in two zones per customer instead of three zones per customer. So eventually i kind of gave up on this concept of birds such that customers would have three note or some type of parody checker or otherwise Instead i've moved much more towards a a slightly older design pattern but equally effective which is to have one be the primary note in one serve as a A hot spare stand by the difference though. Is that the fail over his immediate right. So you're not waiting when a primary fails for that other to come in line because it's getting real time replication. It's watching the deltas on the primary and immediately pushing it And if a health notification is you know a health event happens which could be a multitude of things it could be replication stops a could be your upstream is peed that sending traffic inter out has an outage. It could be that local web server has a problem that could be your database locks up like whatever it is the health monitoring a tooling can automatically monitor the failed component. And then say okay this. This is no longer primary. It shifts primary being primary ticks that hot spare and puts an active and the customers. No worse for wear right. The dina's flip happens within a minute folks Get routed to that other site than many other one comes back online. It's now the hot spare for future events and it gets caught up by the thing. That's primary so i found you know after a lot of experimentation that that was a much more viable replication model for the the world of you have customers who want to spend ten dollars mocked half a fantastic right That's really aware a lotta. The lessons were first is around. Like what is the right replication pattern for these types of customers. How do you automatically manage. Maintain that so. They don't have to lick about it or what it means right to them. It's like i wanted. fdp server. I want my wordpress logged in my email. I don't care about any any any of the other pieces of it right and one of the big ten it's about maple grove and actually a really interesting will call it. A business decision is that. I hate control panels Some of we've lost customers because they get frustrated over time that we don't offer control panels. That means you've outgrown our model. That's awesome like will help you get to wherever you need to go. There's no hard feelings really one way or another We wish you the best and I'm i'm fairly firm about that. Because i truly believe that most customers who are just trying to do cool content communities. They don't really care about tweaking every knob. Dial and you put up the seat panel in front of them with fifty icons and they're really only ever going to two or three core icons right so eventually we might come to a place where we have a a light panel if you wanna call it that where it's just a you know. A few dials in terms that they can have to see status and get some more clear fidelity around their stuff bit. That's really not the experience we designed for right designed for me. And i don't want to really want i don't know i'm like is it working great. That's all i'm really worried about. You know what happens to me. Is i read something online about. Oh hey if you tweak this. And then if i have access to the control panel mike well let's give it a try and then pretty soon. You're calling me saying hey stop screwing with your instance. Okay or having a a member to pull it from backup. So you know. Because i'm such the use case for what you're doing is perfect for me. I just. I really can't remember. In fact i just don't even think about it. It just works for me in a way that issue last year two years ago. Whatever it was where the wordpress instance had some things and we had set some things on log files would fill up and we didn't know why and you finally tracked down since then. Nothing i think you had a little. I think at a little downtown on monday for something us some sites some sites go down and then come right back up. That's really the first time. I can't remember the last time i had a down time. Once you fix that problem Of the lock file so any any any after action on mondays. Mondays danta monday was a very frustrating power issue in which not not the right. Reserve power was not in place for the fail over to occur Which was unfortunate so We've we've since started placing some some orders to rectify that. Long-term you learn you. Learn through a dave dave jackson. Who's a big customer of yours. Ping's me on skype. Pay things are down in a mike. Just it'll be fine. It'll come back up like it's not just just wait for. Oh he's like oh it's fixed. Yeah that's i. I don't i don't ever like i just don't worry about it. I'm like well okay. Maybe it needed a break like well rest. It needed a rest. We were on a break But i'm kind of customer. Who's like chris. I'm not getting enough traffic to my website that if it's down for whatever even on maintenance and listen. I haven't had a maintenance thing from you in forever. Whatever you're doing from that perspective. It seamless at this point That's the big thing. "They've done a lot to weather. Is this on the two version. Kind of made my own custom weather enclosures to mount them and put them in place The other one. I've been playing with a little bit less lesser degree than wise but also an interesting product is blank from amazon The really liked that as the base station with the blink units. I mean that Lithium battery that they put in there. You can get up to two years of it where it only turns on when there's motion sense and if you put it in like a key place like where your packages get dropped or otherwise like it's a great asset for when you don't have the ability to get the wiring quite there So especially if you have a large outside and you wanna capture particular areas where you're just not going to have power coming out of the ground That's a great solution to take a look at. How does wise do it like. Yeah how'd 'cause everybody. I get that question all the time and and i guess a little surprised year. You've uganda. they work for you. I i've been thinking about changing some things the way we do video around here in they're just dirt cheap. How do they do it. Why is this a really cool company. and actually some of their co founders. Were ex amazon. Employees shamefully. Feel some type of relationship with of course and They really took a very startup approach of very similar raspberry pi right where we're going to build kind of this. Very consumer focused end customer product. Where the hardware. They're building kind of the least common denominator. And then over time it was kind of a service offerings right so One of the things that they've done in the last year is they've taken features a lot of their features that are normally free. That were grandfathered in. They gave customers a choice. They're like we're gonna continue to make this better. We're going to be running these feeds in the cloud but like you decide as a grandfather customer. How much do you want to pay for month. It can be free can be buck among to be. You know whatever you want and so I think they've done really well for themselves by a diversifying their product line. So it's not just cameras. It's the bulb so if you're really into kind of end to end home automation. I'm a religious user of wise bulbs To coordinate schedules and do other things and have a ball. Turn on when it's evening in that position with cameras so you get better lighting so they have nice ecosystem of products that i just feel a really no hassle the setup. The app is very easy. and so ultimately i think they just really focused on what their customer base was and because they've made it a cloud based solution they can. They can run a lot of advanced features in the cloud for their customers. Such that as long as you have a decent internet connection. You're buying these cheap hardware devices. You're going to kind of get into whatever. Their subscription model is for the premium services and otherwise. But they make it such that the you know the user who just pays twenty bucks for the actual hardware than as a free user on the platform like. It's it's a great experience For those users as well so ken. Ken brings in a good question. He says any any obviously. You're in this space. And he security concerns with them love their product as well but always had this question. If i'm part of the product do low. It's it's a great question. I mean i am to this day really of the opinion that if you're going to do anything i not of which i consider wise very much iot device You gotta think about like what are you paying. What are you willing to risk data. Wise right A lot of folks got up in arms. I think about wise and how their data was being exported in you know some key things actually in that data leak or what exactly details where it happened a couple years ago now but it showed pretty clearly that the data that they were sharing and mining analyzing was fully anonymous data feeds. They're using this of course trained. They're learning algorithms for ai detection of people and faces and so forth. So there's a couple of common sense things right like i. I really don't trust any of these providers in terms of like if you're expecting some company to totally toe the line in protecting your privacy like get over that it's it's not really a thing I think apple probably has the closest sense of the right idea but you obviously are paying premium to have that built in privacy with the company. Because you're paying a lot of money for their hardware With companies like this isolate all these devices onto their own. V land their own wifi network. Like they're not going to be in the rest of my network I don't point the cameras anywhere. Where i would be worried about someone seeing it right so it's not like it's sitting in the master bedroom with the audio on right like at some point if you just apply common sense even if the device gets completely hacked if you've isolated it you're not going to have to worry about getting into your computer or your files or your bank account or anything like that And if you're kinda smart about what are the video angles and otherwise. I don't really care if someone sees me mowing my lawn outside. I just don't. I mean unless you're getting into kind of like some serious. You know operational intelligence. Where i'm gonna look for you know whether or not ken is leaving his house. coordinate a raid into his home. I just it gets a little bit conspiracy theory for me. So i just focus and try and advise customers that you can never have one hundred percent guarantee about where your data is going in. What form what. The privacy considerations are in the terms of service are always going to change faster than than you can read in a day so you may as well just focus on. How are you going to deploy them such in such a manner that it it meets a comfort level that you have and i think it's an it's important in a home environment right because that's that's pretty sensitive to a lot of folks so i get i get the question for sure so bust out says and he's listening over on that he says you're watching to now i'm not accurately but you know it's john. I think we got a little bit of situation over here. Or Phil Bill seems to be looking for props or something. I don't know. Is he moving around? I'm good. That's good. That's part about working from home and being able to do this stuff is that I like that too. Because a lot of times you like. Hey, I just need to get this one more thing. I just needed coke, right Pop foods. You love it. Love it. Sandwich. Nobody'll. Hear that snacks? I don't think you need any more sugar than you already happened. Oh, yeah. I don't drink soda anymore. Thank you. I saved my calories for Morris Physical adult things. Yes, I appreciate working with the two years I feel like if I had If I worked with a sister and brother, That's what I think is buddy about working with the two of you when you're in together, like Mom, I'm gonna pull the car over and tell you guys stop doing that. Wait till the summer Philby out in the boat trying to catch a bass or something That would be awesome. Absolutely. Yeah, we're serious. Here were real serious real estate mortgage professionals, right? We want to make sure that people I appreciate what we say, because Hey, this is ah lot of stress a lot of times trying to make sure that you can get through this deal and all of the things that you and Phil have to do to give some of these deals done. And so it's good that people know that when they hang out with you, especially are my talkers that you're going to make it as easy as possible within the realm of what is doable, but also try to make this an enjoyable experience for him. You're not trying to make anybody's life miserable when they're trying to figure out how to buy the house. Yeah, there's no reason to have a gremlin up in your business when you're stressed already, exactly. Do the best to make sure it's as stress free as possible. Right, Phil. Let's talk about Ah, lot of things. Okay, So here's the question of the day. When we're talking about retirees. Water. Some of the key things that you've seen that they don't think of until it's too late. They should have thought before they retired. Correct. They don't know how to calculate their income correctly. And because they don't understand all the different mortgage underwriting guidelines. And they assume they assumed that the money they receive can be counted. Now I've got a great scenario here. I'm gonna go into three different areas of retirement in 11 actual situation. Okay, so I have a client. She went into retirement. Didn't meet with you didn't meet with me. Just didn't write she had she had Social Security. She was receiving alimony. And she's receiving fora one Kate income. But the question came down. Would it be enough to cover all the expenses? And she wanted to downsize her home from 5 50. To a $350,000 condo. Here's the main issues that came up when we talked, and I reviewed everything. Her salary went from 149,000. Which is a gross income, okay? All the way down to a $55,000 net. Annual income. Now had she bought it while she was still working. She went to have a problem, Okay, but here's here's where it became difficult. Growth. Empty income went from 12,400 per month. $4500 a month. For her divorce decree. Her divorce decree she had alimony. Proven divorce decree. It didn't continue. For the next three years. It stopped and two years because at the age of 67, the spouse X files didn't have to pay it anymore. She lost an additional $2000. You're now at an income of 25 83. All by the way. She missed out on the home her perfect home that she wanted to buy that she'd been waiting for for a year and a half. Was there a solution? There.

I feel like when we kind of shut down for a little bit. I feel like they put more out there because there were less people on the roads to kind of get some stuff done. No, you're absolutely right. And that includes a project on 94 between Maple Grove and Clear Lake. They're really making good progress on their on that and it's due to the lack of traffic. Apple makes history with $1 trillion market cap

"Show we hope you will decide to become. One of our regular listeners my, name is Alcon Ericsson Kevin young is on. Vacation apparently when you. Own the company you can take a vacation whenever you want. Joshua was with me last week is. In Fargo during one of our free classes so I'm fortunate to have with today. One of. Our education. Counselors at. The, center here in Minneapolis DeAnne. Yoshida welcomed in thank you are. Welcome thank you yeah this is. A great show we love having doing the show we have a lot of fun so hopefully. You will. You have fun also and come back and do it with me again thank you are you know we'd like. To start out by talking just a little bit about what happened in the market? If there are things that are kind of important. That might be worth knowing about we. Had kind. Of a milestone hit last week. Apple became, a one trillion dollar company. That's unbelievable it is now market cap wise the biggest the biggest company I think number two is right. JP Morgan is a distant second but, you know what apple wasn't the first company to reach a trillion. Dollars actually PetroChina did that a number of years ago. On its debut which is unbelievable, they had a face melting debut went up. To one point one. Trillion dollars and then did it almost immediate face plans and. Ended up going down to about three. Hundred billion which shows you how finicky the market can be we also have trade. Warriors use. Your and. That seems. To, change by the day China. Will come up with an something. Else that they're adding to the. Tariff list will come up with something else will raise the tariff amount it just goes back. And forth. Last week we had some big moves in the market we went from the Dow being the leader the NASDAQ. Being the leader to the Dow the NASDAQ is just back and forth Facebook and? Net flicks really moved the the NASDAQ down Facebook. Was down twenty one percent in one. Day the. Biggest one day loss in in, value for, a company and History Netflix was down about fifteen, percent and these are after earnings were earning. Season, again that moves the. Market we looked for surprises in, earnings so there's a lot of things good and, bad and you know what happens all the. Time but essentially we don't really care when you know what really moves the. Market it doesn't make any difference. There there's something that is. Truthful this factual that moves the. Market a lot of this other stuff that we hear about almost on a daily basis is. Noise you, know the the key is to be able to make money when the market's going up when the market's going down when it's going. Sideways and that's one of the things that we talk about in our three free, class the three hour, class we'll be talking about a little bit later like we have some objectives when we do the, show really is. Twofold number one is how to make money in all markets at all. Times and number, two how not to lose. It those are two pretty critical. Things why don't most people do? That, well they just don't have the proper education and think about where you're -cation come Comes from did you, get it in school probably not most people. Got, whatever financial information they. Know either from their parents or, maybe a little bit in a college class but, most of the information that you've got you. Was supplied by Wall Street which is showing you how to do this the. Wrong way so what we want. To do is show you. How you can properly make money. Regardless of what's happening whether the market's going up down or sideways because we know it doesn't. Always go, up it's up half the time the other half of the time it's either down or sideways so if you're missing out on those. Opportunities you're missing out on fifty percent of the opportunity to make to make money, you know we all, have a limited amount of time even when you're making money time is decaying asset so tie your, time is knowing. By while you're making money the worst thing that can happen is that. You lose money, while you're losing time then. You have to put more time. Into just loss recovery so we? Want, to make sure that you're using time to the prophet and into prosper not Wasting your time just? Getting back. To where you were before the market went down and I know you had some questions that you wanted to ask, me why don't we go ahead and start, with one of your questions yeah for sure thanks you know it's education counselors we get the. Opportunity to speak with many students in some of the first questions I have are about the markets and, how these markets effected their portfolios and retirement accounts l. in your experience what seems to. Be the number one question, you seem to receive from our students or you know what. Actually there's two questions and then they both, kind of are equal one is wiser difference between us what we're getting as. Non-professionals what, the institutions the professionals are getting the difference can be three percent for the the non-professionals to. Triple digit returns for the professionals the reasons that there's different. Series that they know how to make money regardless of which direction the market's going, and again if you don't you're missing out on half of. The opportunity to make money also the understand how to use different assets than we are. Used How many of you have been taught how to invest in the futures market or the foreign exchange market or the options market. These are leveraged assets and in the institutions know how to how to do that that's why. They're really kind of kicking up their returns over what the retail traders. Are getting and also they use your assets they have to have? Your, assets maintained. At. Their firms, to be able. To make money the second thing how to make money when the market goes down that's the other question people ask and it's simply knowing how to short the market it's a it's an concept, that a lot of people have a hard time understanding to wonder whether it's legal? Or not it is? And, in the classes we have we we show them how to. Do that you know we're getting close to the end of the first segment already I can't believe. That we got some passes to get away giveaway to these free classes so why don't you. Go ahead and do that yeah right now we have half day classes coming up in Bloomington and maple grove. In the, half day classes, where you'll see exactly what it takes to generate income as. The markets are going down and it just a second we'll have The chance to win a set of. Those passes for the half day class so get your phones ready. And if you're driving now would be the perfect time to pull over included with. Your passes, is our professional insiders kit and it's packed with lessons from some of our top instructors lessons on topics like. "It was yeah i think she was just shocked all right well here's one and this is right jack osbourne tells people magazine after the osbournes my dad just hated reality tv he hated the experience he hated the way was portrayed he was like it's not what i do i'm a musician right is jack one his name in the news today because we have a show together they do yeah checking ozzy do yes they have some kind what is it i don't know if they're on the road traveling together some kind of a a music show i don't know but if i were is e because we never knew ozzy is a bumbling fool who needed shine yeah what do you call it closed captioning what he was saying understand him so i can see why because there's probably he was worried it was going to take a hit with his black sabbath fans they didn't watch his show i bet i feel like the they were solar and watch the only one i watched the nicole smith show what is that a reality show nicole what's really going back but the osborne is before her that's before the nicole i didn't watch that one yeah i know busy the osbournes were like ninety the first yeah they were one of the first like late seven anna nicole smith wasn't until two thousand i want say all right but the osbournes were the first and it was on mtv and it was i mean i know they say the real world is really the first reality show and then if you really want to get technical that pbs show that followed the family seven up but it's ozzy and jack's world detour yeah that's anna nicole smith started the year restarted two thousand and two but where is that kelly as born i mean we never hear anything about her anymore i don't know itself so in the foot okay here's something camille grammer okay got candidate about her relationship with the dink kelsey grammer he made such a thing to i know it and we saw that net i says he's in the choose on the real housewives of beverly hills a fan re tweeted an article about kelsey and wrote to camille never forgive him after what he did to the real meal g and she wrote back i don't progress him his happiness with a nerve is the fact i was there to help him get him through some hardships and supported his career and his sobriety was right by his side and he acts like i never existed that's appointing we were together through his success it really the writers strike and back to you and she heart attack and she helped him get sober and go in film the real housewives of new york when he was on a date with the other woman what he was doing the bribery any they have two children together and he refuses to speak to her i think it is so despicable i do too when people pretend like a partner that they had never existed i know someone who does this to somebody and it's very hurtful it's well it's just so and it makes selfish yes it's so selfish and narcissistic and in this example that i know this yeah this couple it is the man who acts like kelsey and the person i know is camille was like all i ever did with stand by him when we were together you know now you just does not existing he's always acted like he nothing to me i i will good is that for your kids kelsey for your kids to see you being a dink that's right you are listening we come back rachel zoe was on my trade happens live and it was good to see you're really was we'll be back hi i'm linda light iger in december twenty sixteen i heard laurie and julia talking about the breast center of maple grove i dialed the number made an appointment i.
