NFL star suspended 4 games for using fertility drug

"The giants have a disaster going on at their wide receiver position a few days into training camp they're starting receivers it looks like right now we're Darius Layton and Bennie Fowler after sterling Shepard broke his thumb after Corey Coleman towards ACL is out for the year and golden Tate suspended for four games or so we think coming by the NFL but it is on appeal Joe do you think this suspension for performance enhancing drugs is going to stick or or you are you buying a golden Tate's excuse here which will get into in a second about fertility drugs yeah no I actually buy his excuse Erin he released a statement earlier this morning saying that in in April of this year during the off season he was seeing a specialist for fertility fertility planning and he started treatment was prescribed by the doctor and he found out there was something in this prescription that was against the NFL's policy so in the event go straight to the to the statement I immediately discontinued years I reported the situation to the independent administrator of NFL policy on performance enhancing substances I spoke with my coaches and general manager I did all of this well before a failed test was even confirmed per NFL protocol in initial suspension was imminent but myself the giants organization a confident in the fact look he's got a contingency here he's told people if if what he's saying is true I can't see why they would uphold the suspension because it could be an honest mistake coming from a couple that was looking to have a kid right Sir so rules are rules right Joe and in my and the way the NFL now I have no idea how they approach to discipline on other kinds of issues right and I'm sure there are plenty of people out there looking at wide receivers and saying how is Tyree kill not suspended at all but golden Tate is going to be suspended for four games but I I on their drug rules the NFL usually is pretty firm on their stuff like this is a list of what you can't take it is your body it is your job and your millions of dollars that are on the line and if you put anything in your body whether it's aspirin whether it's a supplement whether it's something that you eat it is your responsibility to manage it and to make sure that nothing on this banned substance list enter your body and if it does and you fail a test you are going to be suspended should there be some gray area there because I think the NFL in the past has looked at this very black and white and said that it's the players responsibility it and ignorance is not a defense when you're getting suspended for beating case well here's the thing air he is taking responsibility once he found out what he was putting in his body he immediately stopped at any let everybody know this is not one of these I got surprised by the results situation which we already had this week with the Tennessee Titans and Taylor the one who took a polygraph any came back clear but again that's a different situation where you've been taking this knowing full well that there that that it could pop up eventually this is him taking the responsibility okay anybody want to that once retiree kill and this situation I mean could you be more disingenuous I'm not saying you're doing this but the people who want to bring up Tyree kill there are other examples about the NFL's random wheel of fortune punishment we'll that they they they they like to use this is not it you're looking in the wrong direction this is an honest mistake I'm gonna take his word for it it's not a Manny Ramirez situation from ten years ago when he was taken horse fertility pills okay this is something that is an honest mistake that most people can

"The cut off man. Manny Ramirez cuts off the cutoff, man. Just Manny Ramirez, even a term for it. It's just Manny, Manny, you watch Gordon Ramsay on those cooking shows, you're like what a jerk. Oh, not really. It's just Gordon Ramsay being Gordon Ramsay. It's called all introduce it to you in life, and it matters. And we use it all the time. The that's just rule. Magic Johnson's not tampering. That's just Magic Johnson. Tell he talks. He's always talked. He's funny. People like him. I've been in rooms with Magic Johnson. He's always smiling even this past week when he was angry at the pelicans. He was smiling as he said there's a lot of stuff out there. We didn't course, give it any of the stuff. I went to a Laker game a year ago, and I look over to the right? And the crowd rises. And I thought that was a fight you ever you ever gone to a stadium and everybody's getting up and you're like, oh, there's a fight and I looked over in the crowd. And I couldn't see a fight. And it looked on the floor, and I didn't see fight. And the crowd section by section by section by section by section was standing. And Finally, I saw it. Magic Johnson who's been in that building ten thousand times. Had simply emerged from the tunnel. And people stood section by section to get a glimpse. Of a guy they'd seen play. Stand talk in Los Angeles for thirty years. He's not tampering. He's a superstar. That's just magic. Well, the way the NBA does agree joy Taylor can have more of that. Coming up in about ten minutes rendering, a verdict on what to do with Ben Simmons. And the Sixers who are furious at magic and the Lakers that's coming down right now. Plus TJ Hirschman zodda around the corner. Played in Antonio Brown's division. Antonio Brown tweeting today, I'm outta here in Pittsburgh, folks. He is a passing league. He's the most gifted deep threat receiver in the NFL. It's incredible. Somebody's gotta get him. Right. He's a superstar. They're not five guys in the NFL more talented than Tonio Brown. Sees gotta be worth something. Somebody's gonna roll the dice him. That's coming up. Maybe the Rams. After that Super Bowl..

"Of fame lack of movement in the off season. Matt best scourge hopped on campy are here. It is right now on these two thousand thirteen when the writers did not vote in single player. The only inductee is worth through the veterans committee. I think that we're all still reacting to that. Because the last four years they've put so many players in it's hard to keep track. In fact, the most ever in a four year period. Look, you know, when you make a case for a guy, not being fame. It always sounds like you're a hater it always sounds like you're in an arbitration hearing in Europe club executive that doesn't want to pay your star player, even though you respect them and love them in need. So I I don't really broker in that. Maybe that's why I wasn't invited to play with the smart guys yesterday. I used to make an anti case for somebody like Mike Messina for whom there were anti cases made. Or if you dissenters that didn't think Edgar Martinez should be in because he was a D H. I mean, we're still dealing with that kind of rationale. I was a little surprised that Rivera got a perfect ballot. Did he was named on all four hundred and twenty five of them because just to get four hundred twenty five people to to agree on anything is impossible today. If we put Cal Ripken or Griffey or Sieber or players like that in with the unanimous vote, then then how can we do it? Now, I find I find it hard to justify that. But I'm glad that somebody finally got in there as you go vote because now we can stop talking about where do you stand on bonds and Clemens? Softening on both. You know, the longer we get into the PD era, the more complicated, this becomes because at first it was easy to draw your line. It's say anybody who who gave a positive test after the protocols were put in place lost their right to go to Cooperstown. So that's still gave you a chance to think. All right. You know bonds and Clemens whatever they were accused of and by the way, never officially tested positive for that'll happen for the protocols were put in place, they have star clean, but they're going to be coming up that when a foul those procedures after they'd been established and to make it even more complicated. Guys that are likable that we all like Alex Rodriguez and David Ortiz. Have both been linked to this stuff. Both of those guys were great players in both of them. A well like unlike Manny Ramirez Sammy Sosa who of disappeared who were mercurial at best with fans reporter teammates. Everybody loves Alex and David, and that's what's gonna make it really hard on voters moving forward. And that's why for me, I think you have to just stop being judge jury here. And if it's a player that impacted the game that was considered one of the best when he played for expert of years, whatever your parameters, are you gotta put him in because we can't start picking and choosing. At this point. They're already plenty of guys in there that were PD guys, and we we know the usual suspects the names that come up so moving forward with bonds and Clemens I think it's impossible to keep them out. Johnny Mathis coercion on the I guess one of our favorite guests. And of course, a lot of baseball conversation surrounding yesterday's hall of fame vote. I'm so sick of this thing turning into such a popularity contest. I mean, I stood in the bread SOX clubhouse when they came to AT and T and when they had Manny and Ortiz in Manny Ramirez is a much bigger talent than David Ortiz. And and Manny pain we had Howard Brian on yesterday. He's like, hey, Manny failed to test. There's no chance and yet. He's in my opinion, one of the greatest right handed hitters have ever seen. And I I refused to believe that his greatness was tied to any of these substances. I just don't buy saw him when he was a kid coming up with the Indians. I don't know. Matt doesn't using baseball hurting themselves term by not having transcendent talents like bonds and Clemens and Manny and group them all together. Some people would take Manny out of there. But not having them in. Cooperstown, doesn't it doesn't it isn't there damage done to to the sport and its popularity long-term keeping those guys out. Sure there there there there is Larry, and I would say this to depending on your definition of Hooper's towns, some defined it as a museum that's just meant to commemorate the game the way it was played throughout history and lionised certain players as being rate participants document some feel like it's this. Very high honor that you have to earn with a combination of God, given talent hard work and perfect behavior. What forget about the perfect behavior component because there are plenty of bad guys in the hall of fame. A steroid user he probably isn't as villainous at some of the guys in there who never used PD's. But. When a foul of society some other way. So we gotta stop being judge jury. We get sanctimony us on this topic. And I always go back to the NFL. Julian Edelman gets a PD pop. Sean Maryland of the chargers a number of years ago. Got a PD pop. They get a four game suspension. And the only thing that that is trapped around that conversation as we can't wait Shawne. Merriman back is just not good. It's good defensively. Without forget about that in baseball. When there's a PD pop. Everybody takes offense. And the guy is the guy has a scarlet letter on his chest for the rest of time. Maybe it's because we hold baseball players in higher standard. We hold the sport in higher esteem. Maybe it's one of those kind of strange backhanded compliments to baseball. But I think there's a huge double standard for sports fans who don't care if they're NFL stars use up, but they take offence. When it's baseball player. We're talking with mad fast Curzon from the baseball from the baseball network. Do you believe Matt that all these voters it's impossible not to let personal feelings through? I think a lot of them do a great job. And and the guys that have done this for a long time. And I think my colleague Ken Rosenthal top of the list. They are really good at muting whatever personal feelings they may have for player. They're votes. I do think this though, you know, part of the conversation that's lost with younger voters getting select players. But Cooperstown is that they don't remember what was happening around those players careers. If it's not on the back of the baseball card and on baseball reference dot com. Like, Jerry Sheffield is a guy who gets a lot of run like terrific career Lipik right handed hitter. One of the most feared of the game for a long time has all the accumulation numbers all the all star recognition. He says hall of favor when you look at them on paper. But Gary was a malcontent when he played I don't I don't know that he likes to be referred that way. But coming up with the young Biloxi brewer when he didn't wanna play third base. He admitted the air mailing ball into the stands on that throw. Right. Shortstop law that anecdotal stuff gets lost with the younger voters who are just looking at spreadsheets. You know, when we start judging guys only on numbers were losing something there. It's such a sticky conversation, and I feel bad thinking judge mentally. I'm actually glad I don't have to vote because I'd be one of those guys. Gary back your question. It would have a hard time separating how I feel about a guy and his name players. Let's see I'm setting you up for this question about your friend. Rodriguez were bonds and Clemens pretty much stay out of sight. You don't see them your friend who you work with on Sunday nights? Alex Rodriguez has done a pretty great job of rehabilitating, his image for what that's worth you think he might have an easier time getting in despite his association with with PD. I don't think Alex is going to have an easy time. And I don't think you believe he's going to have an easy time. I think in a candid moment, he would admit that. It's it's important to them that you would love nothing more. And I think a lot of what he's done over the past five years. In terms of the transparency for the mistakes. He's made it has to do with that. You know, he does not want to be remembered as the guy that at a a suspension by the Commissioner's office for this stuff. He wants to be remembered for being a pretty amazing player, which he was again, he is going to be the one name that's gonna be so interesting because if bond and Clemens are in by the time Alex is on ballot. We've got a couple of years, and you got a hard time keeping Alex out, but a boaters continue to push bonds and Clemens aside. Then Alex is going to have a hard time. He is really dependent on those guys getting first. And then I think we saw it up, and we take a look at his, you know, twenty plus your career and say my goodness the guy seven hundred home runs, it's hard to figure out which one of them's were clean and dirty. We gotta be in. And that's how I feel about it. I think they've all got it's interesting. It's like what you do post career does impact this election. And if you don't believe that it's a popularity contest. Look look at the voting around Curt Schilling schilling has made himself somewhat of a polarizing figure with. Political tweeting and this and that and there are people that love him. And there are people that hate him. And then people who liked him as a player who hate him now because of his tweets and his positions, and this and that do you think he's hurt his candidacy with his with his his political activism if you will. Yeah. I do. I think he's the best example of that. Because you know, you just look at his post-season resume. And then you add the longevity and the tiny spent is one of the five or six best starting pitchers in the game. For a long time. He's a hall of Famer the baseball side of Curt Schilling is hall of fame is World Series, performances alone. I think give him a lot of consideration to that. But as you mentioned, Larry, I mean, he has he is if you keep the guy off Twitter, you might be in by now Messina helped him of being a guy with comparable regular season numbers and not even close to the same postseason resume guy like that helps and that's what we have to kind of reevaluate everybody. Now, look the herald Baynes induction by the veterans committee means that we have to look at Dwight Evans now, we how is Dale Murphy. Not in there. I know back to that Kim VP's that's a whole other discussion because when it's not only a guys post playing career that can influence his is odds for. Getting in. Did you retire or spend most of your career with a team? And are you still in good standing with that team? The example, there is Jim rice Jim Ryan took him a number of ballots finally get in and took the Red Sox mobilizing a campaign to support him and push him in front of the voters and it worked Fred McGriff..

"Let's see Rubin in queens. What's up? How you doing Mike what's up quickly? When Chad came to the Yankees, one of the teams he said he was gonna go to dodge the only team that one of the teams the yes. I'm just dreaming. Maybe you know, the dodgers are looking for a big time. Eta? Okay. And we're talking about maybe maybe Staten can go there. I would look I have not heard one word from anybody that the Yankees are even talking about trading Stanton. You on that? And the Yankees have said that they have no interest in hopper. One more thing. My four games later. Right. Yes weekend. Okay. I don't know. If I am not. I don't really worry about you. If I am. I if I don't I don't I mean, that's it. Regular season. I'm well aware of. I know I'm terrible regular season. Maybe I will. Maybe it. We'll see. I had no luck this year. A lot of bad breaks this year. But doesn't matter, you know. And it's it's the bottom line. You can't cry over spilt milk. Jerry, massapequa, what's up, Jerry? What's up, Mike? The qualifying comfortable talking about it and know. The writers open themselves up for major scrutiny as it is. But now when they release their ballots on Twitter and stuff like that. You have a bunch of guys like especially Ken Rosenthal, releasing their ballots on Twitter, and let me preface by say, I think all the steroid guy should get in bonds. But when they released their are starting to vote for guys like bar the Clements, but then then leaving Manny Ramirez, it just opposite out for how could you leave off? Probably the best right here. The hitter of I ever base day may be fine. But you can't just pick and choose or whatever. Badly. That is a very listen. If their argument is we're going to start with the creme de LA creme here. Okay. Manny Ramirez is not Barry Bonds. Barry Bonds is the second greatest player. Of all time. No doubt. Okay. So there's no argument there, we know that. So even Manny Ramirez who I agree with you is a lock solid stone law hall of Famer one of the greatest hitters I've ever seen. So I agree with you. He's a hall of Famer, but he's not as good as Barry Bonds. So if they want to start with Clemens and bonds to open the door, maybe they feel that's the way to not be scrutinized as the open the door with those two who are no one can argue those two hall of famous. Okay. Anyone who watch Roger Clemens pitch? Anyone who watched Barry Bonds hit knows their hall of famers. We know that. So that's my whole point of it open when you're gonna put guys in like McGrath and Messina and I'm a diehard Yankee fan at the time in Baltimore. But. Says you have to put all these guys in the for same. Just putting the guy. So you believe a hall of Famer. That's it. That's you. Can't you can't exclude and say I maybe next year we'll vote Manny was they get in. Layering that because listen there are guys there. I mean Sammy Sosa should be in the hall of fame. Yeah. I mean, so, you know, all these guys. Yeah. Those guys who are out only because of steroids. So I agree with you. Now, I don't know that they have to put everybody in the same time. So I I don't know if I agree with you that that's the case they're probably trying to put towing the water and move it along once one guy gets in opens the door though. I agree. I think that's that'll be the end of it. Mike in Manila, what's up, Mike? Hey, how you doing? Mike is everything going what's happening? Just a quick point on the hall of fame. I get to hold the Martinez deal. You know, but he's gonna put a guy like Agassi Martinez in there were two other guys, you know, me being fan. First of all manically stats are just. No. That's not true. It's not true. Mike, look, Mike, look up this statue dominant. Who had a better dominant diamond listen, I love Manley's not a hall of Famer. And what about Fred McGriff, Mike? Is in for Fred, McGrath's borderline. But US me who's a better hit 'em Martinez. A Fred McGriff Martinez was a better hitter. I know I'm seeing that's why I'm saying you're putting stats because that's when Martinez did getting in. The h he didn't end because he was a terrific hitter. That's why he's getting. I know. But I I understand that. But I'm talking about Mattingly Martinez. Manningly does not have enough numbers. He didn't do it long enough. He had twenty one hundred hits. He's not enough. You know what? There are certain numbers that are over the top numbers certain numbers. He doesn't have them. He does not have because the second half of his career. He did he had a bad back. So I understand he had a bad back. If you go by the first half of his career, he be a hall of Famer the second half of his career. He does not get in. I mean, this is a way around it. He doesn't listen. I agree. He listen. I manning Lee played well enough. I is his career as a lock hall of fame of the problem is he started hitting nine home is in heaven fifty RBI's. Those years are going to see well end up killing him. You know? I mean, Ed gets numbers. You know? He he did it for a very long time. I understand he's a D H. He did it for a very long time. No one has a rule. There's no rule says the can't get in the hall of fame. And and big Papi's gonna get in the hall of fame. You know? Because big Papi, not only has big numbers. But he also has the best postseason numbers of all time. I mean, there's nobody who has there's nobody who has posted his numbers. Like big Papi. The numbers are insane. Teen is at three hundred nine home is. Three twelve as a right handed hitter. That is a made over eighteen years had twelve hundred and sixty Rb is okay. One two three four five six seven times. He had one hundred I'll be is. It's Rian six home runs. Hit three twelve. I mean, that's a very solid career. You really did. And he was a great clutch hitter. So he was a really good head. I mean, the guy at nine thirty three oh PS for his career. Know, he. Is lifetime on base percentage was four eighteen. Sensational. And the guy hit three twelve in his on base percentage was flake eighteen for his career. I mean, that's that's that's outrageous. Not many players have four eighteen on base percentages for their career. Ame scored twelve hundred runs scored knocked in twelve hundred runs hit three home runs. Hit three twelve at a four hundred on base percentage. I mean, he's a very good player. And to me he's right on the cost that he's in. But he's not in by a lot. But three twelve right handed hitter makes them one of the best tennis since World War Two has a right handed hitter. There aren't that many guys James in Brooklyn, what's up James, Mike, happy new year. What's up, Mike? I got a great question for you. But it's not to my the greatest sports host talk show guy that we've ever heard I love this is you will like going out for the five, Mike. My question is because everybody's talking about it. Mike you mount Rushmore. We're going out for a beer afterwards. Nobody's listening. You're much more for players that you believe did page that are in the baseball hall of fame. I have no idea. I wouldn't even waste my time with that. I really wouldn't. I don't care. I don't care to speculate. I really don't. I just don't care. I gotta be honest with you. It's not something. I spend two minutes on listen. I know there are a lot of players. I sat with baseball players. For years. Told me you have no idea. How many players have steroids? I don't know how many he, but he speculated it was a lot. And I'm sure they were plenty that dabbled because you know, what they knew it could make them better. And when you're when you're in a position, and you're in a competition where everything is based on performance, and you have a way to get an edge on performance that can make you money and also make get you fame and fortune. There are a lot of people who are going to succumb to that temptation. And that's why they do such severe drug testing at the Olympics. Because the temptation to use drugs to enhance performance is outrageously strong. That's why they do. The same thing with baseball. The you have. I mean, you're trying to stay first of all in the major leagues you're trying to succeed in the major leagues trying to play at the highest level. If that can give you just a little edge. Supposedly bonds was going along and saying, you know, what? These guys are getting all this stuff. And I know they're doing this stuff. I'm going to look into it. And then he started taking it and he started taking into put him over the top. So be it. It was a great play before he went to. He went to a Ruthene stage. He went to a stage. No one else ever went to. So I'm not going to sit here and speculate who didn't who didn't I have no idea. Would I be surprised about anybody? Yeah. A couple of guys I'd be surprised about but very few. I.

"The Mets flew past the nationals won the division and ultimately won the pennant and says, but this was the most important reason why I remember campaigning on Mike and Mike that he should have been the National League MVP that year. He was so good. I'm not gonna pick you up because I thought it happened to you last week. Yes, but you remember what team they traded him from was he was a right and a and then the and the Mets? Yes, it all goes back to Detroit at some point. Number four was cliff Lee of the Phillies and again, these things you have to remember the enormous impact that these guys had cliff Louis traded from Cleveland to the Phil. Two days before the deadline. In nine, he won seven games down the stretch and any had one of the great postseasons of all time in five postseason starts cliff Lee went five zero. He had a one fifty six ERA and the Phillies became the first team at that time in fifteen years and still the most reason team to win back to back National League pennant. They started some good karma Philadelphia. I was sort of the beginning of what has been a good decade for them at number three, Manny? Would Manny Ramirez traded to the dodgers from the Red Sox at the deadline in two thousand eight. The dodgers were fifty four and fifty four through July. They went onto win the west, Manny hit three ninety six with fifty, three ribs in fifty three games. They lost to the Phillies in the National League championship series. But if you remember what the crowds were like for Manny, what the reaction was Manny took LA by storm. He stepped up in a big spot too. I mean, that would have been an easy place to say, oh, man, you know, this is a little too much, not many though. At least at that kind of thing, didn't seem to get. That point was. Seem to matter much to Randy Johnson to the Astros is number two. He was traded on deadline day in ninety eight from Seattle. All he did to finish the regular season in Houston was go ten and one with a one twenty eight ERA Houston finished with a franchise record. One hundred and two wins. It would lose to the Padres in the first round of the playoffs. And Randy Johnson left. He turned that into a fifty two million dollar deal with which was a lot of money in baseball at that time. So people forget because they didn't do much of the playoffs. He didn't have any postseasons accessible. He got to resign. Ah, but he was enormous for Houston that year Randy Johnson has entire career. He tipped his fitches, but no one can hit him still open or closed depending on what he was throwing still couldn't get it. He could've walked up to the battery and said, here's what to do. Did you have? And then finally at number one, and this is a little bit of a surprise, but it broke the curse. It's no more Garciaparra being traded from Boston to the cubs THEO Epstein rolling the dice and trading the best.

"I really like him and and I think he'll sit into their system, but he's not quite Leonard, but he he's a really good player, but it's also like just Louis are Gregg, Popovich coach, like one, maybe two more years. Right? It's so they didn't wanna fall off that they didn't wanna just generally, you know, I know I know some of the trays Iraq enforcing like they wanted a little bit of everything. Yeah, we'll they wanted to stay relevant. They wanted to get somebody for the future. They wanted to get ticked with if they want to get asset. So like because they don't, they don't wanna squander what they have right now, which was a team essentially that was built to contend and co. I landed prime, so they got, you know a version of Leonard. He's not like derozen not quite Leonard, but they got somebody who could reasonably approximate the production that he gives them. And so you know, I, I don't think this is gonna fall off that much. I think they'll still be a playoff team. The name show joined the euro Keyshawn Georgia, Neil z. Ramona we've been as George. It kinda just KoKo why Kawai but hey, there's another big trade in LA. The dodgers are quiet. Many would. We're calling more version of man, he would what are you making a trade and what the dodgers gave up to acquire Machado. They so different investment, isn't it? You look at what they gave others. It's like you know, five good prospects, but it's like, okay, but none of them were major leaguers yet and they still have to prove themselves. They still get their like Dane, like not even the guys that you know yet, right? Like you know, use the because he hit two home runs in the in a future plan, but it's not like they traded Walker, bueller or Albuquerque. Go or gory is guys who've been up to the major and stuff. I mean, it's that's a heck of a trade. And you know, I think in baseball, like just to trade for somebody for a couple of months like it seems crazy to give up like that, but like the, you know, for when you're not having to get up your top five guys, you're hot top prospect. Oh my goodness. I mean, I was here last time when Manny Ramirez got traded to the dodgers and I think he hit it was close to four hundred was like three eighty nine. And then they ended up going all the way and I'll CS losing to the Phillies. But I mean, it's it's gonna be rocket daughters eighty like they, they needed him because they've kind of. In winning with smoke and mirrors right now, like the guys they were counting on to produce, haven't been able to do that core out for the year. Justin Turner broke his wrist and hasn't been the same. Like they, they've been getting a lot. I like, well, max Muncie and you know, role players who who are surprising them, but like you can't count on that the whole season long. So they'll get a proven star who's having his best offensive year for prospects who've never even sniffed the majors yet. That's a hell of a trade. Shelburne here with Ramona. Are you confident in the arms of the dodgers. We talking about the bats so many Machado. Yeah, no, you're right. It's true like they were. They're still searching for the, you know they, they're still searching for somebody to do a Brandon moral did for them last year in the bullpen. Right. And they have started who are have been good this year. Like that's why you know they've stayed afloat, but like you don't necessarily feel like when we get to a five game series or a seven game series like you know and have a kind of trust in that rotation yet. Right? Like like curse is probably gonna be game one starter stripling to begin to. Would you go my ADA game three like like, I mean, he's in great, but like they kind of need them in the bullpen because he's so good at that role. I, I don't know. I mean, it's they, Alex wood hasn't been the same as last year. They don't like the in terms of star power, frontline starter. That would be the play. That's what matters. I haven't seen it, but they've they've done a lot with just debts and I think you have to just roll with what what you can do it all..

"Were hall of famers the two words that matter the most in this entire debate are the words and and because barry bonds roger clemens and i'll throw manny ramirez on this list were hall of famers end they used pds uh they weren't hall of famers because they use pds and that to me is the is the barometer you gotta use your head you got to say are they halloffamer's or not i thought barrett barry bonds and roger clemens and manny ramirez head on you know cleancut rock solid can't reverse it hall of fame resumes and they had those resumes and then they use the pds and they became freaks and nature but they still were hall of famers and i don't think you undo that value argument is in anarchy gonna give you that uh you know the people who are against bonds and clemens aren't gonna give you that latitude of saying well they would have been hall of famers or they were hall of famers even before they used their own they will they will say they are they do agree with me except they believe that or noble wary cheap you that that takes your way if you're in mind that in their mind yeah in their mind once you cheat you're out you're out yeah but since it's a witchhunt and nobody can sit here and definitively say today that we that there's no pd users in the hall of fame or maybe there may already be pd users in the hall of fame and there's nobody who can provide us a list of these guys used in those guys didn't and everybody's got their own standard on this thing gary that's what so maddening peter gamma ntt's whose is respected and bam you know baseball voice as there is in this country votes four barry bonds for the hall of fame you'll what his barometer is that bonds never came up with a positive test so very intelligent man the the graders in fact sent while but he's ignoring facts because the grand jury testimony barry bonds admitted to using the cream in the clear in the feds determined that those two substances yeah were anabolic steroids though by that he has in front of him that bonds.
