It should never come close to the cancer. It's called margins as with surgeries about well this doctor cut right at the level of the cancer. Which means most likely he spread the cancer cells number two, he never told her that she could have other treatments. He never told her that she could have non invasive treatment. He never told her. She could have radio Surti never told her. She could come to Dr Liederman and avoid this radical forming surgery. He never told her that he'd never told her about combined modality therapy. He operated on her. She ended up in the hospital for four months with infections pain, convalescence four months finally gets out of that super-duper hospital after four months, and she goes now, she's going to a local hospital in the five boroughs, and she's offered radiation the radiation guy. They're never told her that she was at high risk for recurrence because of the close. Margins and never offered her combined, modality therapy, combining chemotherapy and radiation. Why will that chemotherapy consensus the radiation to make it more effective? He treated her between the surgeon, and he they tritter in within months. The cancer came rip roaring back. She now has had chemotherapy she of immunotherapy the cancer keeps on growing, and it's growing in the left side of the face from the level. The brain all the way down to the next yet. Chemo didn't work at immunotherapy didn't work a lot of people are chasing. Immunotherapy like at something. Miraculously it didn't work, and then touch or the cancer kept on growing the doctors told her six weeks ago, she has six months to live that in-state you're up. They didn't offer any other treatment and she called us and came in for evaluation. This week is a sixty year old Russian woman loving husband those in New York City, and I saw her and we staged her up. We got our staged up completely to see number one. Where the cancer is how can someone tower long to live? They don't even know where the cancer is. That's what's going on here in New York City at the super-duper big place says ROY staged her up. We found the cancer only in the area of the left face. But now it's very extensive in some the basis go really aboard the brain is all the way down to the neck a mass of cancer. She's in terrible pain chin barely open the mouth. She's suffering. She's on pain medicines narcotics and really suffering terribly along with her husband who's giving her loving care. She came to us. She asked about all the options. And here we talked about all the options is the first time in a year, go knowledge super places and elsewhere that we talked about all the options, we analyze the case gender stood. Why the cancer came back gentle? Understood why combined modality would have been better. Now here she is to get our treatment and she wants to live. She is very motivated and has decided to proceed with treatment who disc-. "Back here on sports talk. Mike in Mandeville. What's going on Mike, you're on WWL? So I'll listen to you Bobby last night talking about the timing of what's going on with the suspension now of. Approach. The thing. My sneaky, suspicions that Kentucky and Tennessee or the ones that kind of everybody wants to be able to win the championship. So maybe I'm crazy. But you know, what blueblood ones? The timing of this is is totally to me. Something that needs to be looked up because how long have they know about this story. They could known about this story for as long as I think they've been knowing why did they time it the way they did. And I think it's unfair. We willing LSU was forced into. So don't get me wrong. I mean. And LSU all the way. But I just think it's I think it's just wrong. Now, what's going to happen to these kids that have worked hard all you know, they're not going to have their coach to go into the whole being. So I don't know if anybody else feels that way. But I have a lot to do. With all those Epoca team were the one that we were hoping. So you think it's perhaps a conspiracy? I don't know if it's a conspiracy. But the timing. The timing is his it is what it is though. I mean, the timing doesn't matter as far as what what they have on. We'll wait and the bottom line is that that's what they have on. We'll wait, by the way. LSU baseball updates one one. Now Brock Mathis leads off the inning the bottom of the third with a leadoff triple and then a sacrifice fly from Giovanni Jacques Cousteau so LSU one cow one bottom of the third. That's good to know that. That was just a. I'm rolling. I'll have a conspiracy theory going on with with most things that I come across the galaxy. Wasn't laying. Felicity always. LSU deco teams. Wow. What what's going on? I don't I don't. I don't question the timing. I just I just I just don't. That's all. Get it. You know, they have. Now, let's spot. Ahead. So thank you very much. Keep listening. Thanks, man. Have a good weekend. We'll step away come back here and wrap this thing up headed off to the last lap. With Seth Dunlap. I'm sure he's going to be probably he wrote a really strong piece online hat wwLcom. She'll get to that during the eight o'clock hour as well. This is sports talk on WWL..

"On Facebook. We will see if the saints go all the way gotta less month to find that out. Got a lot of coverage this weekend. Everybody a lot of coverage. We'll be at Rouse's in Covington on Saturday. That's over there on bootlegger road that one the new houses up there. It's myself. Bobby a barren deuce McAllister from noon to three on Saturday. A certainly hoping to join us. We have had a and absolute blast on these monthly is that we're doing throughout the saints season. And the playoff version, adding and arouses on Lee Road on Saturday, noon to three the new routes is up there. And then on Sunday. Our coverage starts at eleven. Am full saints game day coverage kick it off with fans for steak with Steve court and myself on Sunday eleven to one thirty extra half hour of fans. I take that day and Steve courts begin hand. He'll be on the show next hour. So stay tuned for that to the phone lines. We go Benjamin in Folsom Europe. Benjamin what's going on? I'm just wondering back to the topic on. Would you take since? Game on the number one rush defense, but that's not what teams will do with the game on the line. They're gonna pass and they have the rain pasta and Nick foles can secondary. So I would say the saints offense because there's more reliable. He's got. Game winning touchdown. Touchdown. Fourth quarter over time at the end. And so. Yeah. I take I take often. Yeah. I'm not saying I disagree with you there Benjamin. I think I'd rather have the ball number nine sands as well. Two games. I've of agreeing with you right to your point here. There's a huge disparity between the saints. Rush defense and the saints pass defense. Remember teams are playing from behind though that inflates the yardage numbers. But even if you look at the advanced numbers, which I think are better indicator of how good or bad your certain parts of your defense are the saints pass defense is ranked number twenty two against the past number three against the rush in Devi since your point there. You're right much worse against the pass. And did write about this today. The Nick foles is a much better thrower against man coverage with the saints have been playing a lot more men coverage especially since Eli apple came over. I am wondering if they're going to change that and scheme up some zone designs here against Nick foles, just has not been a good thrower the football good passer against zone coverage. Interesting to see what happens there about Joe in Mandeville resin cowboy fan here. Joe what's going on? Yes. One a one b between back in. Sean tell you neither one can eat broadside on the twenty five dollars. You know what I'm saying? Yeah. Yeah. But I think the offense the dachshund allows him to be a little more successful in my mind than especially in big moments against a good defenses than than to Shawn Watson. I just have. I don't know why Bill O'Brien get so much credibility Branson nothing in the post six years. And they're not they're not game breakers. But they are good and managing the game. And they'd done well with both of them. But real quick this is my point you guys better be aware of the front for pilling. I'm telling you, they do not mess him around. Damn near stoned Elliott to concussion out. Lamar miller. Broke coast leg and they damn. You're busy flag. I'm telling you. They're taking out players is a conspiracy or not each guys are very physical and somebody will get hurt. And I will tell you this Joe Fletcher Cox has had a reputation of being dirty football player. He's had that since he came into the league really since before he came into the league. He's obviously a sensational talent. But so was and so is while maybe so was dominating. Sue, just because you're a sensational talent doesn't mean or not a little dirty here. I'm not saying anything was intentional in. The instance, you mentioned they're saying we're going to have their hands full that admits affronts Cox. It's it's everybody. I just be highly worried about Michael Bennett there who can move inside and outside. Let's go to Chris who's in Las Vegas at the embassy apparently in Las Vegas. Chris. What's going on? Yes, sir. Thank you for taking my call. Hello. I have three points, and I'll be very quick, and I'm very quit on the point after. So I've never been on your show. So it's an honor to be on here, sir. All right. Appreciate it. Chris. Yes, sir. The first thing is is about the the who DAT nation crowd. And you had mentioned about dude nation not understanding the importance of the game, or I don't put words in your mouth. But I can promise you. Nation who's been in the dome like myself from sulphur Louisiana, but still a season ticket holder since the nineties. I mean, I think everybody recalls what happened in thirteen seasons? Oh, six divisional game. I wanna just ask you. I gotta stop you here because we got people listening. This is radio flipped the channel and flip in and out. And I wanna make sure that you're not you are putting words into my mouth. When did you hear me say that? I don't think they should knows what they're doing as far as the big moments football. I'm confused there. No, no. I'm not saying that. But but as far as when when when the discussion was about, you know, taking taking the eagles seriously this weekend, and you know. Yeah. I seriously. I just I think some in the fan base c that forty one point win and her thinking, okay. This is going to be the same kind of game near there. I'd say, yeah. Okay. All right. You got a little bit worse. Look, I'm not I'm but all I wanna just reassure everybody that that dome will be loud, especially section one seventeen mature leader. And it's loud, it's going to be loud. And because we I think everybody recalls the history between the two programs, and it's been great. I think it's been great to be a great game. And it's going to be tighter than what it was. 'cause everybody understands that it's a different teams, especially under under foles. So that's that's number one. And number two. I am a Homer Dak Prescott was born in calcium hospital and software Louisiana LSU passed on him sheepish, Mississippi State, and we learned that college college different from the pros. But I got gotta get of course, I'm not a cowgirl fan. But I gotta get back. Some surprise. I think he's done. Well, and he's been been part of you know, turning that that team around the last point is defense versus offense. I would I would typically probably say offense. But I'm gonna go defense on this. Because of the who that they should because the game, you know, the crap we're smart fans were quite when drew Brees it works. He's a surgeon. But when we're on defense, and it comes down, and it was tied up the crowds. Don't get behind that defense. And we're gonna see a turnover. I hope so. The point. All right. I hope So Chris I hope so I will say like I've been saying all week. I think the most terrifying thing in football right now is Nick foles and the Philadelphia offense on the field down by less than a score with about two minutes to play. There is nothing that would terrify me more if I'm opposing defensive coordinator than that then fell thanks for the call. Thanks for listening. More your calls coming back here. Lots to talk about saints and Philly 504-260-1870 still a.

Can Can you you tell tell me me a a little little bit bit more more about about that that program? program? And And why why you you think think so so important, important, absolutely. absolutely. Why Why looking looking back back to to the the first first company company I I started started I I wrote wrote my my business business plan plan in in that that class class and and the the class class is is a a combination combination of of engineering engineering master's master's students students and and business business schoolmaster schoolmaster students students in in the the Inkatha Inkatha that that class class is is a a business business plan plan that that you you present present to to both both the the professor professor Mike Mike lions lions and and also also the the students students and and eventually eventually to to venture venture capitalists. capitalists. Why Why wrote wrote might might first first business business plan plan in in class class in in actually actually starting starting my my first first company company I I go, go, which which I've I've actually actually took took public public ninety ninety nine. nine. And And so so that that class. class. Nice Nice has has a a real real special special place place in in my my heart. heart. You You know, know, healthy healthy launch launch my my first first business business in in so so Mike Mike lions lions invites invites me me back, back, and and I I come come back back in in disguise disguise myself myself as as another another student, student, and and they they do do the the business. business. They They do do the the case case study study on on my my business business plan plan and and students students just just rip rip apart. apart. All All the the silly silly things things that that I I was was thinking, thinking, and and how how strategy strategy was was off off and and the the always always different different things things were were were were blemishes blemishes or or problems problems with with the the with with the the business business plan. plan. And And then then eventually eventually Mike Mike asked asked me me to to come come downs. downs. I I take take off off my my baseball baseball cab cab come come down down to to the the further further class class and and tell tell her her what what actually actually happen happen says says a a real real fun fun kind kind of, of, you you know, know, live live case case study study around around the the business business that that that that actually actually worked worked despite despite all all the the problems problems in. in. So So that's that's a a lot lot of of fun fun for for me. me. You You know, know, I I got got my my first first big big break break from from a a Stanford Stanford alumni, alumni, John John Michael Michael who's who's very very first first investor investor if if he he had had come come up up with with the the original original idea idea for for the the business, business, and and you you know, know, he's he's been been a a huge huge proponent proponent of of entrepreneurs entrepreneurs is is a a first. first. Estrin Estrin Staples, Staples, kinkos kinkos copies copies and and was was really really the the guy guy that that stood stood by by me in during the tough times. After starting the business said, listen, I believe in you believe in the business steel stick through this. You're gonna make it instead of worrying about each of the issues to send me a fax. This is back. When people did a lot of faxing semi a fax every Friday in the one good thing that happened and you'll see after time, you're you're making progress in you know, it turns out he was right in. So I'm threader thankful now into Stanford. But also, John Michael for gave me the confidence to stick with it. And not let the first second third or fifteenth problem. He'll. Knock you down every startups have problems, but you probably saw beginning one more step closer to the solution. So that's a key part. And the other is just being back on campus. Really energizes you being around you all students the energy, you know, the taking you back to time. When you remember that anything is possible? There's nothing like that feeling of being on campus. So I get a lot out of it as well. Not you have enjoyed a fantastic career experienced a dramatic is on lows of entrepreneurship since we can help from shop floor. But But can can you you share share the the finished? finished? Oh, Oh, most most interesting interesting story. story. This This happened happened to to you you since since you you began began late late in in Ulan Ulan company company had had -solutely. -solutely. Well. Well. You You know, know, I I started started at at the the chip chip company company called called Silicon Silicon Systems Systems right right out out of of college. college. And And after after on on a a couple couple of of years years working working in in different different parts parts of of the the genera genera team team invited invited to to a a CEO CEO dinner dinner and and the the CEO CEO of of the the company company car car of of I I didn't didn't know know this. this. But But he he didn't didn't fight fight six six seven seven people people out out to to dinner dinner once once a a month. month. Trying Trying to to get get them them a a little little liquor liquor up up in in in in having having few few glasses glasses of of wine, wine, and and then then he he would would say say all all right, right, Kenny. Kenny. What's What's the the one one thing? thing? You You would would change change in in this this company. company. Just Just one one don't don't give give me me ten. ten. What's What's the the number number one one thing? thing? You You would would change change his his company company right right now, now, what what is is it? it? And And I I said said well well for for customer customer meeting meeting last last week. week. And And I I noticed noticed that that your your sales sales guys guys are are confused confused about about some some of of the the products. products. They're They're missing missing opportunities opportunities in in customers customers really really frustrated frustrated trying trying to to figure figure out out which which of of the the products products to to use use and and how how to to apply apply them. them. I I think think we we need need a a two two day day technical technical training training class class for for our our sales sales people people and and Karm Karm says, says, you you know, know, what what you're you're right right at at a a lot lot of of complaints complaints about about that. that. Hockey Hockey seemed seemed like like you've you've got got a a good good personality. personality. So So starting starting Monday, Monday, you're you're going going to to be be transferred transferred up up to to Silicon Silicon Valley. Valley. And And you're you're not not going going to to be be in in technical technical sales sales way. way. We'll We'll what what what what that's that's not. not. He He can can move move over over the the weekend weekend report report up up to to the the general general manager manager John John Tamil Tamil up up there there on on Monday. Monday. And And that that was was it. it. I I was was pushed pushed from from a a technical technical career, career, which which I I was was really really enjoying enjoying into into sales. sales. And And you you know, know, I I thought thought of of sales sales is is used used star star sales sales people, people, I I never never understood understood or or appreciated appreciated the the importance importance or or the the art art of of professional professional sales sales and and went went into into his his office office and and said, said, I'm I'm not not I'm I'm not not a a salesman salesman engineer engineer design design products products Bill Bill products. products. He He says says number number one. one. This This is is not not a a democracy democracy decisions decisions been been made made number number two. two. He He says says nobody nobody in in this this company company gets gets paid paid until until somebody somebody sells sells something something and and number number three. three. And And we we just just crushed crushed it it became became number number one one worldwide worldwide eventually eventually at at thought thought TD TD k k at at later later TI TI in in that that experience experience combined combined with with the the other other lessons. lessons. I I learned learned it it so so consistent consistent stay stay with with me, me, my my whole whole career, career, and and I I look look back back because because I I had had a a chance chance to to go go back back to to General General Motors Motors and and IBM IBM which which I'd I'd also also worked worked at at and, and, you you know, know, if if I'd I'd taken taken that that easy easy path path which which actually actually paid paid more more money money than than what what Silicon Silicon Systems Systems offered, offered, you you know, know, we've we've never never learned learned as as quickly quickly as as they they did did it it growth growth company. company. And And I I also also think think it it would would have have delayed delayed in in in in maybe maybe even even prevented prevented me me from from ever ever starting starting a a business. business. "And products through your supported employment program, which I think is some of the the pieces that the community is most well familiar with most familiar that was a weird science most familiar with. So for folks who aren't familiar till some some of the programs in jobs that your clients are involved with with the imported supporter program, excuse me. Employment program, which is another United way funded program is where we we find individuals jobs in the community. So we bring them in. We do an assessment of of what they enjoy what they excel at. And then we go, and we find them a community based job, then we provide job coaching and supports as needed for that individual, you know, some individual might need a daily job coach at the beginning. Some every other day just it's very specific to that person. We serve probably a hundred and fifty individuals in that program, and we like to tell employers, you know, the the individuals that we placed at your business are going to be some of the best employees that you have. And we see that. And we hear that from from our employers their work every day with a smile and a great program. We just we love promoting independence in our supported employment. Program is one of the biggest ways that we're able to do that. And a large part of that, right? Is your mardi gras bead collection and sales. And I know we were talking about it off mic earlier. We you just can't get enough beads and house to turn around. Right. Well, our our mardi gras beads is is a huge program. It's actually not part of supported employment is part of. Gotcha. Adult day of vocational training individuals. Come in like, I said Monday through Friday Mandeville and saw, but we we bring in recycled beads from the community we clean, those soared 'em, repackage them and sell them back to the community in which you were talking about with social enterprise. I it's wonderful. We often measure our bottom line differently than a for profit company. Would we measure our bottom line by how many jobs were creating for individuals with disabilities and how much independence brave to to provide in their life? But there's we run out of beads every year we sell out every year. So we could really we could do it year round in..

"One. And talk to Hanke Mandeville. What say you hang? How you doing? It ain't doing great doing great. Yeah. Pins and needles watching that game like everybody else. But I I sit back I'm starting to think about group had headed greatest game of his career. I mean, probably the greatest game of his career, and we have to win a coin flip to win the game. I mean, it's a fifty fifty chance would have lost the coin we would've lost the game. So yeah. But then kinda minimize the the, you know, what I thought was brilliant play calling and using tastes um hill in a much different way in really shaking things up and marching down to feel eating up a ton of the clock and scored a touchdown. It was phenomenal. It was great by the offense. But if we got to rely on somebody missing field goals and a quarterback greatest teams his career. I mean, we're we're we going for me. Consider the consider the following as well, though. Matt Ryan this was this was a clash of the titans. Right. So Ryan Ryan goes twenty-six at thirty five three hundred seventy four yards and five touchdowns. I mean, this was really a clash of the titans. It's too great quarterbacks both hall of fame. But I mean, I'm sitting here guard. What else can we do to win this game? Get drew Brees clean. The greatest game is Korean still sneaking it out and another thing I'm talk to you about the French quarter. I have people that come from out of town. And I brought them Anthony French a couple of weeks ago approaching we walked around went to the flea market. And I was telling myself making excuses for the city, I live in the city. I'm making excuses fine. Like watch it stinks so much while units called but from last night. Finds it. On streets. You know? It's like I go to Saint Louis and everything's like you go to the origin. It's all manicure. Al Qaeda's nicely done. And I mean, I find myself making excuses. I live in a city. It's embarrassing. Yeah. I mean, you know, we wanted to succeed. And I just everybody wants the priorities to get in order. And that's the only reason I bring up the situation with the city seal, and the fact that the mayor announced this thing, and I'm being called a racist and a bigot and everything else under the sun. I don't know why we always have to go to the race card here. All the time. I just think you know, we we should have other priorities, and we're making he's announcements on on the eve of an innocent bystander being shot right on canal street in the light of day. I mean. It's not the gym with the city. It's the state, right? I think statements situation to and where does it go? Does it get muddled in confusion, and they lose the money or don't go away? It needs to go. Not sure not sure it's mismanagement. It's just ineptitude of. People don't want to do. What's right? I mean, I don't know. Well, based on a number of tax, Nicole is I think the answer would be all of the above. Thanks so much for calling in hack. Appreciate it. Let's go on to talk to Bill and gentilly. What say you Bill? Yup. Agreement with the change. She still can you take us off the speakerphone. Oh, gee. Media here. I'm in agreement with the change of okay. You can't equate so anymore. Multiple incidents problems. Problems. But just the changing of the fitsville. Well, it wasn't equating it. I was saying the priorities. Go ahead priority. A man of the CEO someone could call someone and say, you know, we can redecorate this thing a little bit and they'll go to their office. And isn't that the man who ever in charge is spending actual time themselves doing someone goes off to their place and make some changes and come back with several representations in this video? I like this one, and that's it. No big thing. But it is a big I'm pretty sure years ago. The native Americans in Louisiana spending most of their day and the TV's watching TV. Buying around on the internet. So they outside farming hunting for food and so forth. And so on. They want darker than most people off today. So that that's all it is. So you know, you believe have you seen the new seal as opposed to the old? No, haven't okay. Department years ago, and I printed up a bunch of those. I'm not never really looked at it opposition to damn thing. And that was it kept on going. Yeah. Me, and my reaction was I don't really care. But obviously, the mayor did and and puts this out and was very proud of the change of the and it's not just the color of the individuals. It's the the coloring of the whole seal. And I mean, my immediate reaction was why are we worrying about the seal? She could call someone in and say read redesign this a bit. Of mine who likes decoration and ornamentation I like playing, you know, everyday solid. A woman's Varietes, shall we say? So you believe this is a female driven thing. Well, that's as good as explanation is any. I just I just don't see the the the priority here, not, you know, and as I said actions speak louder than words, and when you're doing these kind of things and putting this out. I just don't see anybody feeling better about the city because the background color is darker blue. And the gold is just a change that. That's it. I'll be glad when I see one. But I mean, it's just for the emblematic change that I would like to see as less potholes in better sidewalks and. Sees that he'll take other quarterbacks..
