"majuro" Discussed on Pilot to Pilot - Aviation Podcast

"My kids are still relative. My youngest is 12. But the early years with him, I wasn't around a lot, and my older kids were teenagers. I missed a lot of tea stuff. So I mean, it depends what your personality is like. I mean, if you're a family person, I would say take what I would do differently is take that time at the airlines and being able to walk away from it and experience the home life and kind of do that. That's where I kind of would have done things a little bit differently. But if you're not in that predicament, I mean, I would just say go for it, man. Anything that you're doing is going to be different and it is going to contribute to things in your life that probably we'll look back on as positive, even if they're not positive in the moment. So I mean, there's a million things you can do entrepreneurial outside of aviation. I have a friend that I have a friend that owns ATMs and he's a pilot, you know? Hey man, you got to make your money somehow. Someone has done an ATM. Yeah, another buddy of mine was a cargo hauler for Atlas and he started a job hauling junk like Sanford and son. And he's making money doing that. That's awesome. Being a pilot, you have a very unique opportunity to use some off time to do other stuff. And you can do a lot with it. Absolutely. Absolutely, man. It's a unique field in that respect for sure. Or start a podcast. Start a podcast or do a 189 episodes of podcasts, yeah. Wow. Impressive. I know, man, a lot. So talk a little bit about the future for you. What's coming next? I know you maybe you can't speak to a certain specifics, but talk a little bit about your new goals, what you're looking forward to in the future. I don't really, I want to slow down with the new stuff. I want to keep focusing on what I do. And I want to improve, I'm thinking about diversifying the business into regional operations. I feel like I'm doing too much right now. So I still want to keep doing charting the course that I set out on and doing the same stuff. But I want to empower others around me to take on more of a responsibility to focus on my little regional area, not geographically, of course, because just because of a trip originates in the United States, I still go everywhere in the world or originate somewhere else that comes back to the United States, but you know, I mean, I think I want to be less of a maniac. I want to play more gall. I want to, you know, I'm 44. I'm starting to not be able to wake up in the morning and feel great every day. I need to be more active. I'm going to start, I think I'm going to start paying more attention to myself. While trying to ensure the business stays successful. I mean, I think that's really and it's kind of a boring answer, but that's hard to do though. That's much easier said than done. It's funny because I'm still 31, so I don't know if I'm going to hit that rage. Maybe I have, but you kind of just do whatever it takes to build something. And then understanding the fact that either one, it's too much or two, it's time for you to reevaluate what's important to you and how you want to live your life. And it's do take a step back. Do you trust more people responsibility? How do you go about that? That could be more stressful than the whole building of the company. Totally. And I don't think it's as much stepping back as it is the sidestepping into kind of like a different I mean, I will never stop flying until I'm forced to because I love it. I mean, I still love it. I mean, I especially love it now that I'm not at the airlines. And so, and I also have an aerostar. So I fly general aviation and stuff, which is fun. I do like pilots and pause, dog flights and fly the air star around and that's always a maintenance pigs. I'm always trying to figure out what I'm going to do next with that thing. But yeah, I mean, I think more or less I want to coast with the business, still continue to grow it and seek opportunities, but on the other hand, I need less stress in my life. I think I said it before. I feel like kind of at the pace that I've maintained for the last ten to 15 years. I'm headed for an early grave. If I don't start taking care of myself physically, and I love golf, right? So for me, it's all about blame more golf. I just go back from chambers bay yesterday. This morning I landed from Seattle on a red eye. I went out to the Seattle to play chambers, and it was awesome. And I need to do more stuff like that, you know? A challenger to do it. Live your life. Yes, sir. Well, cool. I have some rapid fire questions for you, then we can wrap it up real quick. These are just very rapid fire, quick questions. And whenever you're ready. Yep. What's your favorite airplane ever made? It's hard. The aerostar. I bought one. Favorite corporate plan ever made. Corporate jet. Oh, falcon. Falcon 7 X got to ride one. Favorite airliner. 777. Ugliest airplane you've ever seen in your life? Shorts three 30. I say the piaggio and people get mad at me for that one, but I just do not like the way the piaggio looks. Not a kennard guy. It is a weird looking play. And I give you that. What's something you wish you knew before you became a pilot? Oh God, man. Something I wish I knew. That like we talked about in the beginning that it doesn't matter the path you choose, you'll end up in the right one. Own the industry, would you like to meet most? So it could be someone that's died in the past or it could be someone that you know of right now, you never had the chance to meet. I would say, Jimmy, I would say Doolittle. Jimmy Doolittle man. That'd be cool. Yeah. What's your overall favorite thing about aviation? If you could just choose one thing about it, what's your favorite? The ability to get anywhere in the world rapidly travel is key. That's what it is. Favorite overall thing, I just said that, tonight, yeah. What's the hardest approach you've ever thought? Yeah, definitely the VR I'm sorry, this is a straight in approach to Aspen with a circle to land northbound. So I think it was like a VOR alpha circle to land three three. Of all the crazy places you've been in the world and it's still Aspen, that's the craziest place to land. I love it. Yeah, I think so, yeah. What's your favorite approach of our phone? Majuro, the visual end of Majuro, hands down, that's PKM J, and Marshall Islands. Check it out on flight simulator 2021 if you haven't. Or 2020. Shameless plug. What is for flight sim? What's your favorite airport? That would have to also be Majuro places just like nothing else in the world. At least favorite airport you get to land at. Like one, maybe you take this flight and you're like, man, I don't want to do this. There is, yeah, it's not brooksville. It's in it's in northern Florida. I don't know, crestview. Crestview, Florida. We take heavies into there. It's a tiny runway, and it is stressful as all hell. Also, maybe there's a second one. Three three right in Boston and assessment four O two also a bit of a challenge. Oh, yeah. Yeah, that's a nice short one, huh? Yeah. Oh yeah, especially with a split flap on the four O two, man. Coming in there hot. What is your favorite airport food? Say you're connecting to go pick up a big heavy somewhere. You have 30 minutes and then connecting flight and you're getting some fast food. What are you getting? The clam chowder, Bellingham, Washington, back from my allegiant days, would you rather fly over mountains, beaches or cities? Beaches. Anything with beaches is the best is better in my opinion. I'm an ocean guy. Airbus are Boeing. Airbus, favorite airline livery. Current or old, old, I would have to say golf air. L ten 11 in their rainbow tail, unbelievably awesome. And I really like I really also like the it's not that old, but the old northwest airlines silver just before Delta air paint job. That was pretty badass. Long trips are short trips. So like one trip and whatever airplane is long as

"Is expensive. In one 6 month period, he clocks up over 100,000 air miles, earning himself the nickname, president of the skies. Traveling with an entourage of 40 people at a cost of $6 million per trip, the bills of the exchequer approaches 9 figures. By now though, Zimbabweans are used to a culture of excess from their rulers. The exclusive gated community of borrowdale, when Mugabe and grace live, is a playground for the super rich. In the midst of one of the world's poorest countries. The ruling party leaders, all lived in these mansions. It's a strange thing to drive around that area of Harare because you think that you're driving in a poor, desperately impoverished country. And you see that it's actually quite beautiful and looks in some ways like Beverly Hills. It's completely mad. It makes no sense to talk in cars. They love cars. Lamborghini's Maserati is rolls royces. And the roads, you've got to see the roads, the hotels are craters, you can't drive them as a variety. They park them in their driveways and they sit on them and they have the med strength and have beer in the car and stuff. Over the years, grace Mugabe has become the poster girl for the materialism of the ruling elite. A woman who declared she could only wear $1000 ferragamo shoes. Because no other brand fitted her narrow feet. Compared to Mugabe's first wife Sally, grace has never been popular. But she's been tolerated as long as she stays in her lane. In turning against Joyce Maduro and the ZANU-PF old guard, though. Grace is seriously blotted her copy book. Zimbabwe is a fairly conservative traditional society, very patriarchal. She was disrespectful of her elders. And again, respecting your elders, your tradition. That is part of Zimbabwean culture. And she sort of blew that all up. The idea of grace taking over was repulsive. I think she was going after everybody. She was undressing people in public. She was talking about how Amy generals well, you know, we don't care that you fought the war, the war was many, many years ago. I have often wondered if Robert Mugabe had had a son who was a bit older. Or if he had nurtured somebody into his son, then ZANU-PF would have had a much smoother transition. When Majuro is booted out of government, it's not grace, but Emerson Mellon gagua, who takes her place as vice president for Robert Mugabe, though there are good reasons for grace to ultimately take over. Beyond the dictum of happy wife, happy life. Not only will it keep his family name twinned with that of Zimbabwe. But if he lives long enough to see her come to power, she can protect him from prosecution on corruption charges. By 2017, grace has her sights set on meninga. The dispute between her G 40 faction and the Zanu old guard reaches epic proportions. It was a Game of Thrones within the ruling party and grace had her faction and had his faction. And those were the warring parties when things came to a head. Seeing off Majuro was one thing, but in going after the crocodile, grace and her team had bitten off more than they can chew. For almost 40 years, men and Gaga has been at the heart of Mugabe's regime. Had been a close ally in Mozambique where the guerrilla camps were he had sort of run in security detail. After independence, he was always by Mugabe's side, Managua was his protector and through the succeeding 37 years had held pretty much every position in government. So yeah, they were. They were comrades and allies. But what's a 50 year friendship? When your wife doesn't like your old war body. The campaign against the vice president begins in July 2017. G 40 slicks Bengali, Jonathan moyo, hijacks a Politburo meeting. He screens a devastating video that alleges men and gagua has been plotting a coup. Response is to sue moyo with $3 million and write a long letter to Mugabe proclaiming his innocence. But the rumor refuses to go away. A few weeks later, Reuters publishes leaked intelligence documents that suggest a secret pact between the crocodile and Morgan Tsvangirai, leader of the movement for democratic change. After four years of power sharing came to an end in 2013, the MDC have slipped back into their traditional role as Zimbabwe's beleaguered opposition party. Is it possible that chang'e has agreed to work with one of his old Zanu enemies in order to get back into power? Meanwhile meninga has received numerous warnings that an attempt on his life is imminent. In Zimbabwe, car crashes are the usual modus operandi for dispatching political opponents. So when men and Gaga starts projectile vomiting, a ZANU-PF rally, it's not immediately clear what the cause is. Airlifted to hospital in South Africa, he's found to have high levels of arsenic in his system. The ice cream served to speakers at the rally came from grace Mugabe's dairy farm. The First Lady is forced to deny accusations that she deliberately poisoned her rival. Why should I kill men and she asks dismissively? Who is men and gagua on this earth? A month later though, grace's language is rather different. We must deal with this snake, she tells a crowd at rufaro stadium, where Zimbabwe's Independence Day was celebrated 37 years earlier. The snake must have his head crushed. In the same way as it had happened against Joyce majeure, there was this sort of increasing crescendo of personal attacks on linen gagua. And she would often do this on stage at political rallies when he was sitting a few seats away from her. And people in Zimbabwe watched this with horror. It was like a car crash. It was a soap opera. And when a guy would just politely would just sit there, taking it all and people considered him weak, unable to fight back the fact that she could stand on stages across the country and say, this guy is a dead man. She literally said at one point like you're a Walking Dead man for challenging my husband. For the most part, Mugabe studiously avoids getting involved in the battle between his old friend and his wife. But when the crowd at a bullet a rally begins to heckle grace's latest tirade, the president steps in to defend her. Tottering up to the microphone, Mugabe raises a finger in the air. Summoning the authority of the stern headmaster. We are denigrated and insulted in the name of he asks theatrically. Did I make a mistake appointing him my deputy? Because if I did, I will drop him as soon as tomorrow. At that point, a decision had to be made was Mugabe going to side with her or side with meninga. And what happened was he sided with his wife, grace. And he fired me. And it was announced on the national broadcaster that I'm going to go who's being dismissed. So yeah, he was fired. And normal circumstances in a normal country that would have been it, he would have been replaced and retired to his house in the country, right? But this being Zimbabwe, he got word that he was going to be assassinated. It was going to be arrested police were coming for him. Meninga knows better than anyone that such warnings are not to be taken lightly.

"Hi this is tom power host q. On cbc radio. And i want to tell you about our new podcast. the q. Interview is a chance for you to hear some of our favorite conversations but on this podcast will go a little deeper. Maybe a longer. Sometimes we'll hear these conversations before they go on the radio and sometimes they'll hear things you won't have heard on the radio like when the girl told me he was thinking of moving to newfoundland or when barbra streisand told me the real reason she doesn't do too many interviews you can subscribe to the q. Interview wherever you get your podcasts in kabul pediatric hospital has run out of antibiotics and gauze in coast province. The associated press reports. Patients are being asked to buy their own syringes and across afghanistan hospital staff. Many of whom are not being paid are worried about how long they can keep things running. Since the taliban took over a month ago western governments have suspended hundreds of millions of dollars of funding to the country's healthcare system money. That's vital to making care available to those who need it. The reason part is that political leaders in washington and brussels want to exert pressure on the taliban controlled government dr waheed. Majuro was afghanistan's public health minister under its previous government and stayed on when the taliban took over we reached him in kabul joking to give us a picture of what it's like in the healthcare system right now in afghanistan The system Close to collapse. Health facilities are running out of medicine. Essential medicine few consumables How steph or not pay for the salaries for lots with like months and We have Those donors and You know national agencies contributed generously during last twenty years and Ah either internal limitations based in which they cannot continue their contribution to the health system. Which i just talked about when you talk about these donors because this has been so important to afghanistan right. These are the donors in the ngos that have conducted so many of the programs for women's health for the for childhood health. So what is happening with all that. Can you give us a sense of what it's like for the impact on women and children to see that donor money disappear insulted him Mothers the children are the first Group to be affected. Unfortunately we know many conduct about one hundred fifty two sections every day in home facilities and freezing. The funds means hundred fifty mothers more in need of addiction. Services will be deprived with a high number of them prone to that in the in fronts as well and when it comes to child health about five thousand children will be deprived of Ms ation services a day about nineteen twenty thousand Children will be deprived of nutrition services and the morale of the stuff but affected now He has not been paid. And it's not only about the salary we haven't been able to pry them food for the satisfying their patients. So it is. It is both and have been straight of failure and challenge as well as emotional all trauma and we know the world bank and other organizations. They have frozen more than a half. A billion dollars in in healthcare a is supposed to go to afghanistan and they the international donors are saying they will not support the government They won't give aid Because the taliban has people they have on their terrorism Lists and so. They won't supply money to a taliban government. What what do you say to that We have a donors who contributed Generalists and now they have their limitations. And i have no other options respect and be in work with them. The health service delivery and a of snow that's gone by non-governmental organizations in these non-governmental organizations could be paid directly could be paid for the union agencies could be paid through third party construction which could be non for profit for private sector. We're flexible to work. But did ministry of public health as a technical institution which has proven its neutrality and impartiality. It's completely left out of the communication and coordination mechanisms. That is very painful. And i expect. And i call donors work with the ministry at least the coordination buddy. You're saying that the donors can work directly with the ministry of public health. They don't they can go through the ngos. They can set something up as a parallel system. They don't need to give this money to the taliban for healthcare. You believe it's possible for them for the for the ministry of public health to have some independence from the the the main government donors can do the payment directly or through you agencies who the ngos but when it comes to coordination alignment to pharmacies and priorities. The of public health has distributorship rule governance tool and that should not be a made a dutch. With who do them on wync who said the priority who will make sure that it meets the needs of the society in how will coordinate. How would they do our petition. And not expecting the international. Doing those to get the money. I'm talking about technicality. Of the story when it comes to indicators when it comes to monitor twin when it comes to target-setting when it comes to priority setting the technical aspects filthy healthcare service delivery has to be coordinated with an minister of public health as a technical institution. Okay and that's priority. But sir you are still the minister of health within this government. You stayed on with the taliban power. Do you have any sense. The taliban regards public health the health of these women of these children is it a priority for them. Do they care about the health of afghan women and children. I'm going to benefit. What state on the province introduce their official new minister in cub in their health. Commission or working members are deputies working with me in the office and waiting for smooth funds for for the leadership. I've been trying to communicate the sense of urgency and extent of the challenge going expect and i not intending to continue for longer. I just stayed in l. fish to ensure a smooth transfer hopefully I'm praying that will happen soon. i just wanna make this. Finally the very important point you have been talking about. Which is that. It's not just that there are immediate health. Care needs of people afganistan but the past twenty years of building better healthcare. All of this. You believe you're going to lose. All of the momentum you have built in the past twenty years is that right. unfortunately that's right The great improvements we indicators food sixty percent decline and maternal pound rate in people's access. We have four or five hundred two thousand one thousand eight hundred now in. It is very difficult to see. This is dumb list. I respected decision. Of donors am standing. But i call them to wait for the ministry to find an alternative solution before it has to date before the system. Collapses miss majuro. The message that you're putting out to the world here. Is i think very important and i appreciate you sharing it with us. Thank you.

"The sliding scale of expression of diplomatic umbrage between countries is well established and well understood by those who represent the nations abroad for relatively mild disputes. Probably in official letter of protest delivered by or to ambassador will do if it's a bit more serious and ambassador might be summoned to a meeting at their hosts foreign ministry at which subject to various nuances and conditions. Coffee may or may not be served. But you know it's really serious either. When ambassador is instructed by the host country to pack their bags and push off or when an ambassador is called back home by the government which sent them. It is the last stop. Before a formal severing of diplomatic relations israel and poland having already worked through the aforementioned preliminaries have now arrived at this level of freud as luck would have it poland's ambassador to israel merrick. Majuro sqi is presently back home. on holiday. israel has firmly suggested that he stay. There and poland is making arrangements to bring his family home from tel aviv. Israel has withdrawn the shard affair. Who was manning. Its embassy in warsaw and told the nominated new ambassador who shortly to deploy there to stay where they are. It is a significant sundering. That issue is a law approved this week by polish president andre duda which will limit the prospects of people seeking to recover family property stolen during the second world war by the nazis and or after the second world war by the communists. The new law prohibits challenges to any decisions about ownership made more than thirty years ago. Which means that. Thousands of pending claims will be dismissed. The contention of poland's government is that this will furnish clarity around property ownership and deter fraud which has played such restitutions. Poland's government has also been careful to remind the law applies to non-jewish as well as jewish claimants and but that jewish claims have been a minority of the total is no moral justification in checking up on the memory of those who perished during the holocaust. Israel's foreign minister jaja peed is not merely unconvinced but incandescent he has called poland and anti-democratic and illiberal country that does not honor the greatest tragedy in human history on quote and said of the new law that it is unethical and furthermore semitic a joy. He knows full. Well will prompt uproar in poland which is always sensitive to any suggestion of polish complicity in the horrors which occurred on its territory under nazi occupation. Lobbied also declared that gone are the days when polls harmed jews without consequence it is not the talk of someone who either expects or wants something to blow over quickly. There are a number of subtexts. Israel has long been annoyed with poland over this issue. Poland unusually in eastern europe has never passed a law facilitating compensation for this kind of theft and left it to claimants to struggle through the courts. Poland's prime minister matteis mazowiecki reiterated the reasons for this mission this week when he insisted that poland would not as he put it pay for the crimes of germany poland towards the first victim of the third right during the war. Death and suffering in the nazi german concentration camps was faith shirt by jews. Poles and those of many other national and ethnic groups defensive. Nationalism is a recurring motif for moravia. Skis hyper conservative. Party law and justice and a theme which has been known to drift into something savory as recently as last year's presidential election poland's public broadcast. Tv p heavily. Supportive of law and justice was hinting darkly that president dude. His opponent more so mayor rafael kofsky would quote comply with jewish demands on restitution issues. Y'all up eat and israel's prime minister naftali bennett are also putting on something of a show for domestic consumption. Their government is new. It may certainly if recent form is any guide find it so facing reelection sooner rather than later. And we'll be wanting to reassure voters who may still prefer the familiar belligerence of benjamin netanyahu who himself prompted an immense frasca with poland in two thousand nineteen when he made reference to the wartime cooperation of some polls within nazi occupiers wrapping up his trip to war so israeli prime minister. Benjamin netanyahu told reporters that pulls collaborated with the nazis. And i don't know anyone who has ever sued for such a statement yet some news outlets quoted the premier saying the polls suggesting the blame is on the entire polish nation at around the same time. Naftalie bennett then. Serving as israel's minister for education reminded that members of his wife's family had been murdered in wartime poland by polls this stuff runs deep in all directions and understandably so none of this history is ancient also in poland. This week a court overturned a ruling against to holocaust historians bob angle king and john grabotski who had chronicled the complicity of some polls in wartime crimes and being sued as a result by the descendant of one this is of particular importance in matters that constitute an important element of public debate raising important social issues regarding the history of given state and nation seems destined for poland supreme court and another bitter row for multiple twenty four. I'm andrew moolah..

So let's talk about what an honor is for you to be a part of the inspiring used to be great leaders summit thank you and yes absolutely is such an honor and i'm so excited for this is all about education diversity and helping others and helping keep preneurs end encouraging people who have especially parents as well who had kids that may want to be entrepreneurs This is a hosted by christine at majuro. I think is how you say your name and is she and i actually had an instagram interview. A few days ago that was really awesome. But yes it is. It is so exciting. I cannot wait to be a speaker alongside my parents. Actually both of my parents As a speaker. I think this is exciting. Because that type of influence really changes people's lives and you are. You're harvey you to be up there and influencing and doing what you do. This is absolutely exciting. I hope that there's an opportunity to see a replay or those who don't have a chance to attend or there is some way that they want to hear some of the message or all of the message that you get share definitely i. I don't know. I don't know if there is a replay or not only i can only hope there is. I think that there is But that one you have to ask christie about. But i'm just i'm just yard. Yes absolutely i just so excited for you. I can't i can't even believe it. And also you and your family is part of the new base comedy. Sit on the star and you share over about that. All my word i am. This has been one of the coolest projects. I've done recently The visit a just as you said. It's a comedy faith-based sitcom that is one hundred percent clean but it's hilarious nonetheless and it's called wanna be a star and it's all about essentially acting class and Acting teacher but he has no idea act as so he's trying to teach a class how to act but he's never acted day in his life. He's a hustler is trying to make money. Yeah eddie ray can. and so. this is one of the ways. He's making money known series whatsoever. So it's a hilarious. Wild ride of this actor dr. Who'll of his herb Trot wanna be a star dr tool eating all these other people and i play the character. Janet who is this kind of me on steroids very much more obnoxious. Been how i am. But she's always she's like a essentially a ball of energy who wants to be a star disney and just kinda won't canada's. He's a little too much high idea. You know that the the needs a lot of fun. my daddy as well. He is the producer. The director script writer. He's even one of the characters in it He's a billion things. And he's working alongside the awesome marquees rebel or murky skinner to create this epic murky producer as well. So it's yeah. It's been a lot of fun that is one is already out and working episodes. You right now. Keep your eyes. Oh this is exciting and you know how refreshing it is to be able to have a film. That is exactly what you said. It's face these comedy. It's clean and that really i think is coming in a time when really need something that doesn't Sort of put everything out there. Yes exactly doesn't have any agenda anything about politics or religion or they just you know just displaying or basic combat anything about politics or just fun. Good great series in. This is a perfect time. It just really is. And i think a lot of people are going to really embrace this in even those who may not even be of a. Yeah we'll still be able to find joining this demo definitely had this is really exciting. And oh he's so. These are not just the only two things that you going in. You're working on another episode and other things by. There's also something that you're part called twenty-eight coe credentials of entrepreneur and there are some really strong values here. Yes that you convey in this thank you yes so you know it's funny it's When when i was first approached for this i had absolutely no idea what twenty eight. Coe was or who what. Why any of that stuff or what is this. Is this legitimate all ads. I was approached by author one of the many authors zooms bill ahmad butts. Leave the taisei and i it was basically. He's asking him grassi. Muka shimada and they were asking me. They said okay. Do you want to participate in this and basically write a little fill out. This little thing of twenty eight credentials is twenty eight things like little phrases and sayings and helpful tools to be able to use that and put it into this this little little form and then it would go in. A big book held twenty eight credentials of entrepreneur. So i was like yeah. I filled it out with twenty. Like i said phrases or you know for example you audrey mig. You got the other things like you know. Don't let your pass viner future like as a. That's one of the tagline bu Actually but you know things like that to certain things to make sure that you keep things in perspective and essentially after that on it boomed people have been just posted all over the place especially on linked in. It's huge but it's been a real awesome Honored.

"The hotel. That regime gets ninety percent of the of the prophet yeah. Traveling to cuba is helping to prop up that regime. Yes actually do look down upon people. Who do it recreationally different than if you're doing for journalism. I don't think people should travel recreationally to cuba. You are tweeting this morning. I think on your way in that. Cuba exports socialism worldwide and regime. Change is a solution to that. would you mean by that. Yeah what to what has historically supported communist governments have right on finance them up chavez wash trained by the cubans show where the other members of the regime. Majuro teenager traveled to cuban Intense communist training there and now he's dedicated as well. Why because the cuban regime needs Basically colonies to obtain money. They see the oil from venezuela. And that's how they have also played operations They tried to invite minutes while the nineteen sixties actually a landing or marine invasion and the venezuelan sexually expelled him. They were unable to win. And that's actually the original recent that were expelled from the organization of american states. He was because when requested their expulsion because they invaded the crowd. One government on gola in spain. You know the diplomatic party whose empowering spain right now in finance or receive financed by that human regime. These people export their disaster on export to the united states. Make mistake and yes. Of course the cuban. The cuban people were leaving freedom. We wouldn't have this problem. They are succeeding and exporting to the united states is already here. It's in the halls of congress. I think we're talking in the green room before coming out here. The dsa now has actual members of their organization. The democratic socials america have democratic representatives in congress. They have not said a word about what's going on in the streets cuba and i had to. I just had to double check that before. Even coming in today on the train. Because i figured at least by now they would have said something. They haven't the only thing that i've seen from any members of the squad who are part of the progressive caucus so this is like ilhan omar ion presley. aoc and then bernie sanders. Of course the senate is you know. Kind of like the patriarch of the family nothing. They're all still complaining about the ceo of virgin galactic going into space. That is the only thing that is on their minds. What they did say was a tweet by is name is gaza representative choi garcia of illinois. He said i stand with the cuban people and call on their government to respect the right to peaceful protest. And that's where solidarity ends that. They should protest peacefully trump era sanctions. On top of our decades-long embargo have sown desperation. Instead of democracy in the united states must end the blockade so the progressive caucus. That's all they have to say is that we causes problem. Well i think show much impact there on the first place. The american people not freedom from england through peaceful cities. I'm signing letters to king george asking Yes please keep us independence. And if you don't we'll just skip sitting down on on waiting for the british army to murder. Everybody that's not what happened. What's the american revolution right. So i go further. I know that might be with everybody..

"Yeah really like water but do you like gasoline. Much as i drive. Not currently you're going to hate it even more. Yes heard about the hackers. Nice thing that's mostly east coast down into the the south asterik ladies and gentlemen. Please hold on about hackers to after this. Do you want to keep up to date on the madison. The mad at the majuro podcast check out. Our social media feeds on facebook instagram and twitter or go to the metro dot com. So anyway hats on the russian. Hackers did did hack. I can't remember james. You have the story in front of you. Yeah i did they. hacked the colonial pipeline and took Many of it systems off line and that shutdown approximately forty five percent of the east coast petroleum products including gasoline diesel and jet. It hold on so that was straight wild so the other things that this is going to affect is going to be Plastics all factories. That are i think the bigger story here is the united states government including our president came out and told the russian government because the russian hacker group that admitted to doing this in in in system. Still not the united states government came out and told the russian state. This is your responsibility to deal with the hacker group within your country. Basically just means you kill him. Well you know it would be in the best interests of. It should be interesting to see what happens. Because if i was at russian hacker group inside russia and i knew that the russian government was out for my ass. I'd get the hell out of dodge. So what what. what so. It's really going to happen as the russian hacker group is probably allegedly being sanctioned by russia can be honest. You don't do anything. Russia in russia without putin or the kremlin. Not most likely would happen. There's going to say okay. You got to move out of the corner office. You can go down to that. The tool shed with bob. Yeah well guaranteed. They're you know they're going to be interesting. I think that the government of russia's accident in this china has their own china's china's hacking thing is china's at and. Yeah but it's shin gang dark side supposedly. So we'll see but with the enemies of superman pipeline. That's a lot ryan's right would be interesting to see if this this came out. It was the same time though Be whole opec. Nation isn't that russia know opec is I think they're in it but it's it's like saudi arabia and the other or producing states. Yeah pick all the oil producing states of of the mid wet west. All of saudi arabian kwait. All those countries thought. I thought russia had a fucking stake in the oil. They do a lot of so what. I've heard a lot of their own oil so across i heard our europe gets a lot of oil from them and a lot of a of and i heard years ago. A lot of the economy right now is based on oil. So anytime oil hits low The last time it's true is it really affects the russian economy too so this is probably something and for a while. You were a giant. We were we were starting exporting oil again under the trump administration. I don't know what we are doing. Now yeah who knows invade you know..

"Mean that's kinda looking right. Yeah i i agree. And i i think for for me. This goes back to my example. What my definition of what. My personal definition of freedom is is. You can do whatever you want now if a big box store wants to have gender new gender-neutral section. Let's be honest it's more people who are coming out as what's the term non gender binary maybe that would be something for a retail stores have closed that have closed. That are more That that would be perfect. Maybe that's a way for them to target audience to create a market closed at. Are i guess nonbinary he just go pick them out. It doesn't necessarily mean that you have to go to a specific section. You just go through all sections and find shit the fit you. Well we but we don't want to offend these people by four of clothing sections were they. Don't wanna go. i don't know. I've just order clothes. Online yeah. I hit if if anybody out here. Who's listening if you have opinion. Favourite contact us at majuro. Show dot com. I would love to know what you think. The john Because i'm i'm curious. And and because like i said this is really concerning me on the freedom side of things seeing like california had a property which redefined marriage to be between a man and a woman and and this is another part of the conversation i wanted to bring up is the reason i used that. Example is because. I don't think it's a dichotomy to be a christian and believe in my definition of afraid freedom. Being the fact that as an american christian i have to live by the law of the land. The law of the land being everybody has an equal opportunity of circumstance. Not outcome not guarantee but everybody has a chance to succeed and so that to me also is a freedom as you see you see religious freedom being hampered because it somebody speaks out against this thing in speaks out against this thing instead of the person who's offended and and maybe it's not possible nowadays. Maybe that dialogue hasn't been opened but the person saying. Hey i think you're wrong. Here's why and they try to force their opinion on you. Just like they're saying. The other person tried.
