That was the telltale. The Telltale Click we'll get allen former back I. mean this is very hard you know i. You know I I suppose I'm going to ask Alan about the owner responsibility in this as well. because. There there are owners who? You may be. In some cases Not going to say in some cases, I, the owners that you are. Certainly aware you know of. Of. Potential. East. I was vamping a little bit I was going to also ask you to in in addition of of course of action for the industry I also wanted to ask you what the the owner what you feel the owner. onus is to I mean for for owners that. You know in some cases they have to be. Aware of. You know of the the seriousness of the circumstances involved in in having somebody that that they're using be. You know be barred from a grounds at or upon by regulators. So, as far as future course of action, I'm going to come back to something that I've I've stood on your program before that. I very strongly advocate for. And that is a restoration of the thoroughbred racing protected bureau some investigative arm of the industry that we currently and have lack for some time You know as I said before when I started in the business from the first Fifteen or twenty years of my career I was able to work closely with the T. r. what was then tr P. because it was the industry's investigative arm. So these kinds of situations whether it's allegations paper training were fraud were or whatever or or You know the industries on top of these they have investigators who can exchange information who can get information can refer information who can communicate with each other A substantial weakness in our industry that we have and I know it's in part of the conversations with the Horse Integrity Act and expanding the acting otherwise quite. But we we desperately need to have something like that because what you have now. Is, tracks communicating with each other racing commissions communicating with each other but not necessarily. A full understanding of what's going on. So That would be my solution, but also understand that when you're. When you're dealing with suspended individuals and Use New York as the best example, they very carefully monitored to ensure that these individuals are not. Subverting their suspensions or penalty. because it's so they're going to be brought back in for more serious penalties were referred otherwise. So like in Florida where you're dealing with Navarro. not only should he be carefully watched but I'm sure that the federal government is carefully watching his activities. So I I know my experience has been regulators will look very closely. At every transaction, every transferable worse every individual who is training courses that was in the care of a suspended trainer. All of that. So you don't see the wool pulled over the eyes too often are Cabbie that with the fact that in Florida, there is no racing conditioned in that So I don't know who's necessarily. Minding the store there other than perhaps the burden is on country park to do it. You know we read the quote from Delhi Majett in the situation Gannon Florida. How often have have owners been excluded? From Entry Very rarely. That that is extremely extremely rare. I'm just trying to think back. To situations I guess the last time I remember that would be the Gill situation at noon where park. and all the controversy surrounding Gill. But you don't see too much with with owners you know that businesses. So substantially changed, you know there was a time when tr P. B. was looking at. Makers Associations with organized gambling. Commission, some crimes and those kinds of things that. Really, concentrate owners more than trainers, but you don't see much of that at least. From what I see. You don't see very much of that anymore owners think exclude. Well this This case these two cases. And and the. The. The reaction to them I just felt it important that that people understand. What the what the nuances between the racetrack authority and and then regulatory authority and reciprocity That's the. That that's the central part of this and I know there has to be in some cases as you reference I mean the do process part of it is going to enter into some of these equations. The sense remember that the Navarro Situation in Florida and the situation in Maryland apples and oranges. made the baby somewhat of a common theme but the virus under suspension everywhere right? He's under federal indictment. So the scrutiny transfers forces and who were partners in what happens to interest that he had ownership of and things like that are different and situation in Maryland where you're not dealing with someone who has any regulatory issues whatsoever this. It is after noon. It's not late afternoons. Just right after noon. When we're recording twelve fifty four. Okay so you're go for a second cup of Coffee Cup of Coffee Day. It certainly is. I don't know why maybe it's having two kids but I'm feeling a little bit tired today and a cup for each kid. Sure so we are going to be talking about a country that we have been to twice and I did have a good coffee there okay. It's not a country that it's really known for. Its good coffee. Not But the second time we went we were able to find a very cute coffeeshop. Yeah we're talking about Cambodia. So if you guys are joining us for the first time to our Corinthian. Diaries unedited off-the-cuff Short Dir podcasts. That we have on ITV's so you can watch us. Hi or you can. Of course listen to it on the podcast feed and we are doing many many destinations. Basically the best of these destinations and we have been Cambodia twice but the first time we went was eight years ago and the second time we went was five years ago. So it's been a little while so it's fun for us to take a jog back memory lane because Cambodia was one of the very first countries that we ever to on our first backpacking trip. No wrong we did not go. To Cambodia first backpacking second line. Third one travel seriously went to Thailand and Malaysia. On our first backpacking trip. Then we went to Australia. Yeah I didn't answer that backpacking backpacks and we bumped around and then we went to Cambodia. Thailand again Gotcha. Okay so on our third trip within the first year of US becoming quote unquote backpackers. We did hold go to Cambodia and it is a bit of a run down memory lane. So you've got your cards here. I always I was hoping maybe you would do the card so that I could drink my coffee. I'll do the cards on. It was just mother's Day. I'm still demanding things out of trav- I never knew that stopped. Oh so here we go first question about Cambodia. Half is the most beautiful sight start off. Yeah well I mean. I think that everybody knows what the most site is in Cambodia and when we talk about Cambodia we've only been to see 'em reap so this is actually a reap. Yes thirty Majett Specif- scenery we've never been to any of the pen or the beaches cities through the beaches down south. So we're just basically talking about seeing and obviously the most beautiful sight is anchor. What however that is thousands of temples. I'm not sure how many temples there are in that whole complex but it's humongous. You can export for days. You mean you need a couple of days if you want to see all of it or most of it so the main temple obviously I would say is. I don't know if it's the most beautiful but it's definitely the most striking sunrise the very first time and wow. It was really incredible and the first time we went there weren't as many tourists so back in two thousand twelve. We were there. We went for sunrise. I would say maybe there were a couple hundred people me and then when we win a years later we went for sunrise. There were probably some of people I would say maybe triple. I don't know ten at people 'cause when we were first exploring that first time that we went there were parts of the main temple complex where we were the only people there was. The main temple complex is called anchor. What the name of the whole area but also the main temple and I would second. Obviously if you're going to him reap you're you're probably going to see Angkor Watt and. It is absolutely amazing. We'll talk a little bit about this later on in this little show here. I think when we talk about most beautiful site the beauty of anchor. What is getting in ahead of the crowd? So there's already going to be a lot of crowds but wake up early. Gopher Sunrise but as soon as the sun starts to rise over anchor. What run inside because you.

I mean he had two years in a row where he could get out of anybody's way because the colts had one of the worst offensive lineman or one of the worst offensive lines in the the league andrew luck. Has Samsung run out of ideas with the Galaxy Note 10?
"Our right so let's just <hes> i guess get into it. I think spurs galaxy note ten ten not one but two there is the ten there is the ten plus and wait for it. There is the ten plus five g mm-hmm so i have to say your your your key. The key indicator their product line has run out of ideas and apples guilty of this too when they start bringing colors out to the ipod lied. That's when you do that. Device was in trouble and the pris- matic back that they're advertising think for this. I think there's some solid tech care but i'm just saying it doesn't bode well christina on my opinion. We'll right okay so we're going to kind of. Let's get into this because this. These are two big bones so there is there's the writer note ten now. Keep in mind. The note is the smartphone. That basically is responsible for the fabric tab that we all have now. I remember when the first one came out. I think it was like five inches or something and we were like. No one needs a phone this big. This gigantic was the point of vests and people like myself. Were very anti the big phone. Thing <hes> says the woman who now has a tennis max and but over over the years you know the the notes series you have a regular galaxy s series which is kind of like they're kind of flagship and then you have the note series that comes out a couple of months later <hes> usually has some some of the same high in features sometimes even more powerful and then it adds the ability to use the stylus and and and write on it and this year there are two there is the the regular note ten and then the jumbo as the verse has no ten plus now. These are expensive phones now. This is the first time that samsung is <hes> joining apple and basically other rather smartphone company out there and getting rid of the headphone. Jack neil patel at the verge is very angry but i think this is. What do you think that i don't care. I think just because after apple did as annoyed as i was i was like well deal with an adapter by need to but otherwise otherwise like a just kind of lead me into my ear pod existence that i i'm in now and i still won't say i. I won't say it took courage because because it really didn't but it does kind of prove that everybody just follows apple. I mean i guess my frustrations. I didn't win when i voiced like not being absorbed up loss to the headphone jack i didn't realize at that point just how bad air pods were for the environment and spoiler really bad. Nobody recycles <hes> <hes> <hes> they're. They're terrible in that sense but that said you know this is a headache. I have to say comes up consistently <hes> not being able to have that that headphone jack back it it all the time like i think i've three cases of i three three different pairs of air pods at this point so it's not bad i it just. I don't know what's worse. I'm always hunting around for my other air pod trae majett. The case is kind of a pain in the butt in a different way but that said it's the future. Her move forward got bigger stuff to stress in yeah. Totally i think for me. The big thing is that <hes> i was already using bluetooth headphones for the most part when yeah that happened i was using my beats and then i embraced the airport alive and i still use other bluetooth headphones. The only area where it's kind of annoying is if i am wanting to like if you use your pods other than air pods wired ones the lightning ones. You can't use those with your laptop. Yeah that's the one frustrating thing and again airports kind of care that you can switch between the bluetooth inputs but but that's you know it takes more more time than just like unplugging plugging back in. Let's talk about this phone a little bit more so in addition to not having the headphone jack some of the pluses that has the note ten starts at nine hundred fifty dollars. There's so these are expensive phones. Ten plus starts at ten ninety nine. Note ten has eight gigs of ram and a two hundred six gigabytes of storage. The note ten plus plus is like i said one thousand nine dollars it has to fifty six gigs storage and if you spent another hundred dollars you get five twelve gigs of ram and it has has twelve gigs of storage it has twelve gigs of ram and then there is also a new five g. which is only available on reisen <hes> for right now so so these are really powerful phones i mean i'm sorry like eight gigs of ram in a phone. There are laptops talks. That apple sells the max ram. You can have in that laptop a gigabytes. That's so this is. I don't know this. I'm still kind of in this place. Where i'm mike phone has how much ram now like yeah eight and twelve gigabytes were getting into like real like real computing territory when we hear that makes sense because you know the marina phone is obviously solid state ramp laid a lot more of a role when he had the through throughput was so much slower than it is today so <hes> i mean i was on the architecture team. There's really valid use case for it but it's just it from my perspective on the outside. It's it's hard to understand why that's that's needed or even what apps on the phone could take advantage of it. Yeah i mean i think that's that probably for me kind of the the bigger thing you could make the argument like i think that if you had eight gigs of ram or gigs of ram and an ipod then there you could make the state you could make the argument that there there will be developers not a lot of them granted but there would be developers who would build apps that would be able to take advantage of all that ramp and and to use it right. There opposite are exist right like garage japan. You could do it when the full version of photoshop comes out. You know things like that like like there are things bigger than saying the full version photoshop unscom alfredo feels like ten hundred years it does i mean adobe is promised that so you know but but like but i mean even the the most rams rams. I believe that the mousse max out ipad pro has i think it's still like six gigabytes or something how you get thirteen inch <hes> version and you have to have the like the one terabyte of storage like that's the only way you get that whereas these are now phones that have eight and twelve gigabytes with android. I just maybe maybe they do exist if they do like. Let let me know tweet me at all motor score go but i don't think that there are any android apps that are going to be taken advantage of this stuff so it almost feels like it's it's like okay well. This is because we're just gonna run every app in the background at full throttle at the same time. I'm not gonna say i'm not. I don't hate it. <hes> although one one of the things that that <hes> you know i guess on the flip side of this bit is part of the note series is decks. Which is this way where you can connect your phone to you know basically a computer and then access your phone that wayne kind of turn it into like a mini thin clients. I don't think anybody actually uses that. It usually doesn't work well but that's an option. I don't know you know the virtuous talking about this being very hyped for it. I did twit this weekend. Leo's very hyped for it. I mean at the very least if you've got a phone in front of you this this bank. I can imagine like using it for note taking i mean maybe there's a way to get it hooked up to illustrator and you can actually use the vector pressure there. I know i can i can see uses for that. I think i think if my pat i yeah no if my ipad pro hooked to my mac and i could use the the apple pencil with i'm sure i would use that well yeah. I mean and i think that's interesting and obviously there's some things that microsoft is doing with windows ten and in disclosure. If you didn't hear the beginning of the show i work at microsoft but i don't work on windows and i don't know any of these specifics but samsung and microsoft worked together to bring things to windows ten so that you can do the iphone app that is built into windows. Ten has more of like a kind of a better mirroring in and better kind of i guess

He got married again in eighteen eighty seven even though he was still married from before and his new wife eventually left him to give birth to their daughter staying with her parents after the baby was born then in eighteen eighty eight Herman majett now known as h h Holmes bought some land and started building his murder castle. He was making it to be a very good place to murder people. There were secret shoots that went into the basement an airtight vault windowless rooms with gas jets in them with the controls to the gas jets being in his office. There were also hidden passages and to cover up what he was doing because this would probably seem really suspicious if you were the lead contractor on this project. He worked. So also she has this tendency to just like, wait until the cameras are there and confront him about everything. He's straight up on camera. He's like, I'm not talking about this on camera bay. How do you not look at the fucking pre-nup with the lawyer before you get to the cameras? And I like the camera. People are lawyers. They not gonna go sheet or you're a half. Do Over you. majett if a cameraman I was like, oh, that doesn't look fair. God if only cameraman were there for you, you know. Never are though they're always working against people. Exactly. Well, we saw the beginning of the season with her re-signing an agreement because Michael smart and has three year agreements. They renegotiate every three years. And this year it came up and they weren't even living together and she's like, okay, of we already signed the pre-nup just approved. "Brunt and some some season veterans coming, you sitting gonna win eight more, but again off, but that to me that to majett ever-graded my papers, it's just because the west, the west is so Houston took a step back, so they'll be back joins us taking a step back without Rondo know about that soda west is how many games do they plan in each. How many times I mean, what? What's the number two team? But HD one time in east. So that's fifteenth by fifteen games. Key went to USC didn't, you know, never took math. I'm sure why. And I'm sitting here thinking in my head. Of course your plan move here and St Louis blame thirty times. Once you went to Minnesota and you got the math wrong trying to be slick bloody with NFL thirty. Thinking in my head how many times they can lose beat the teams in the east. When you give numbers to with LeBron you play him thirty times here and there. So based on what he's done in eastern pass with the teams that he's had. So you should be able to go. You got Boston. You have fillet go, could they go twenty ten in. TM of course. So if they go twenty and ten, you telling me that they only can win this guy telling me they'll get went twenty twenty one more games out of a wet. He's got it wrong. I agree with you. He that guy's got on smarty pants. Took you while get there. Took the scenic route. Yes, exactly, correct. That's what I like to do. Scenic route. Why rush anything? I just feel like Brandon Ingram, Kyle Kuzma, Josh heart Lonzo ball. They're getting slept on because there's so much attention on the personalities of Rondo and Stevenson Beasley McGee and the reality is unless something goes really wrong, those guys are there to supplement LeBron and the kids. 'cause I think other than Rondo the kids are better than all the veterans they brought up their better players. Yeah. And we saw last year particularly Ingram, but I think all four of them, they're ready to take steps forward and be part of a good team, but see, I think a lot of people are concentrating on the personalities of the veterans, but they also don't understand. They don't know what the makeup of the team is going to finally beat. They have no idea what the final rotation is going to look like. So everybody just assuming veterans come in and gonna take the minutes from a young dude. They won't get any growth. Yeah, they're going to play. If both don't play the veterans any young guys, but they got to see what the mix is going to be before we can start jumping to conclusions and say, well, they're gonna take so-and-so play thirty minutes and he's only gonna play twelve. Now that's not. You know, you don't know that it's going to bury from from game to game, whoever's hot, whatever five now Yun is working with Luke's gonna go within a fourth. It was interesting though when Michael Beasley did his introductory press conference. I I was on the call and I asked him if he had been given an indication from magic and Pelinka about his role in the minutes. And he said he wasn't ready to go. There was going to wait to see training camp, but he wasn't there to take anybody's minutes. He's not there to beat anybody out. And I read that is him saying, I've been told there's going to be some nights where I don't play right, or I've been told that I could be ten to twelve minute player, and he's a, he's the got in kind of guiding, come in key and go six for six hours. You'll got to leave him in because he's hot. That's all he is. He's a streaky player, but either way other than Ron Rondo is the only of the veterans that they brought. In that I picked, you're having a definitive major role unless something's going bad, but guys like Lance Stevenson, javale McGee, Michael Beasley. They're not the major guys. It's LeBron Casey p. and the kids can tell you, I guarantee you whatever they told Rondo about his role. He he, I think, and I'm coming here to be a backup. He's thinking he's coming here to be a starter. That's the way he is. He's on the begun even if he doesn't start the game and he comes off the bench and he plays significant minutes just like start any closes the me. Okay. So they're not announced go. I mean, nice guys..
