You should go to moderna and because there's so many car companies right there anyway like you could do. Today's nc lamborghini. Ferrari do coty any like do that. But i think for me. It's always cool to see where the things come from. Because i don't know silly way. I i just looked at them. Like here magical machines that come from a magical place and then you go there and it's like no there grinding metal. There are people that build this shit because people make get things done. Yeah and it was really cool to see how the stuff goes from raw material to one of the fastest. I remember around so funny that you said magical cars for magical place. I remember thinking shit like that number being young and being like no like a ferrari and chevy are almost not even almost cars. I mean it's like no no you don't it's like they're this this malibu and that testarossa. They're not even on cars the same way the fraud. It's so pretty. It's so fast it sounds so it must be. There has to be something totally special. It's not just like no like here's a company that has a completely different set of priorities. Lissette out on their priority plot sheet right you know. And so like when we when i was working at gotham dream cars in mid two thousands and like you know something would break right and it was a rental car so things would break a lot and you'd call the dealer and the dealer would go. Okay well that blah blah blah is going to be twenty five hundred dollars and then someone in the shop would go no. It's not and would take it apart like in the shop and they eventually get to the point where you got to a something made by bausch magneti marelli and we learned that like you know. Actually it's just a car made up of parts that are made by companies who also make parts for other stuff and sheet. Metal is pretty the engineering of the the internals in the engine and stuff like that is very good. But like there's a whole lot of like regular shit in these amazing cars to the the motor that moves. The seat isn't going to be most of the time built by ferrari or cone exaud whatever they don't need to reinvent that What they need to reinvent might try suspension. Kirsten would like the seat. Motors are actually parasitic drain. We discovered you know. Yeah he'd figure out a way to make it run on oxygen. Help be the first one to be verts the exhaust on delegate windmill under the seat. Boobs averse engineer. The alien spacecraft crashed. Have him do it right exactly. Yeah it was really cool. It was really cool to see that stuff. Yeah see how it gets built. Oh drive then you've got to have a go at fear on the house test track which is like pretty cool. Pretty cool right. It's pretty convenient but did fear on. Oh have the the genesis sequoia of any event or was it just a track like any other I think to me strangely. It was a track like any other. But i guess once i got there i was surprised. At how narrow the track is especially when they they say they test f one cars test track and not a race correct and and so so they did some cool stuff so we we rode right seat well instructor because they do a lot of like ferrari. Experience instruction days there. You wrote a pay for one or if you buy a car you can do a one or two day driving school Which a lot of people should should. I mean not only would that be a trip. Go italy eat some delicious food. Do the museum maybe even see your car. Go down the line. I think they could probably arrange that. European delivery start their school cars. You drive their cars and and then you can learn how to drive all the stuff and because you're picking up at least six hundred twelve horsepower to shipyard and ship it out be sick. The are our chaperone guy for our. Sf ninety drive in california worked at that works at that school. Yeah everyone a lot. He will work there. You know you you can tell they have that mayweather green green with davante tank. David's is so it's always a latino fighter versus him and they avoided former which. I don't understand why being honest like seven gets mad at me but i would like i would have never a pig especially now in retrospect watching joe. Joe dias do what he did to seven. It's like why they never gave tank that fight. Which was a little paper of. You're all in its on. I haven't heard anybody talk about it. What maybe but it is it sitting back and hold very bird is holding up holding a really important piece. Because let's say let's say l. embargo make the fighting air. I mean we're not quite that far, but let me dream. Okay. I mean it's more like a nightmare but okay. Sometimes I say that I would love movies to show US rather than fucking. Tell us. But there's there's a time where it's okay to do the absolute reverse. But it seems at moments like this movie wants to do both. And you don't have to do both dammit, all. No, you really don't. But at this point, one of those pricks from one of those CSI shows shows up with a handful of extras, dresses cops. And they strip Howard down to his damned feathers. Anyway she helps him. "Don't you know picking force them to be able to pick twenty two one shots. It's not amazing. So you know you know when rate one year and he won by two hundred points you know what would what Mister Goldsmiths doing here in the on the final table and this surveilled. He's had a very good tournament. That's that's what the things you want to see at the NATO like the main. Yeah the John Ville Story. It's been that surprise in that. They're they're they're ah one to put up one hundred fifty one hundred fifty and seventy well speaking of Here's your update three eighty six thirty right now for Tom. Goldsmith and a three eighty four thirty two dollars separating the top pair and they have distanced themselves. Actually Taylor has been static at three fifty fifty forty we should also note that Ralph Magneti has moved up to sixth with that addition fourteen dollars eighty cents. He's a neighbor of ours. It's evidently is that right. He's from Rockland Rockland. County Ralph Magneti. We're talking about yeah. He said he was from Rockland. County is that we talked to him. I but I don't remember that now could be misremembered and I thought he's made storm Bill New York. I guess you know actually actually I thought it was going to be closer. John Bale with that lasts horse. Picked up fourteen eighty Ten Ten to win four eighty to place it so he got the least he could have really gotten aww that horse but still now you know and even money shot police. Money gets him too. I think they could end up being a huge difference. When you look down the leaderboard right now it starts wants to get late really for some of these? I mean even when you go the gap between two and three at this point and then there's another gap actually actually After three so she's an okay spot because the other two are so close because the yeah they have to play kind of play short so nope she can get mid range all of these long. Yeah Yeah I don't mind her spot. The other guys are kind of getting the maximum. When you get down down there but Darren she's in an okay spot and probably trays that completely out of it. Let's let's give a quick rundown. Tom Goldsmith three eighty six thirty two John. Vail three eighty four thirty and two dollars between them then a thirty four dollars. Drop to Ashley Taylor are in third. Hasn't cashed yet trae styles as well three thirty four nine. The rate arsenault in fifth another five dollars lower three twenty nine eighty then. We dropped down another thirteen dollars. Ralph Magneti who just moved up. Eric Bialik hasn't cashed yet. Three fifteen fifty per spotter. It's three twelve forty Mike. Areso twelve twenty and Mike Goodrich hasn't moved to ninety six twenty. Your top ten and has no Michael's just pointed out and Paul reiterated this thing has kind of the spread and there's some wide gaps. And it's pretty much at the point where people are going to try to start art thinking about how can I finish and.

"Their beds. Bees honey take yeah true love unchain here we go. We're back and waiting for the numbers to To be applied. Tom Goldsmith With the wind place tote and and Ralph Baghdadi with the with the place and I haven't seen the they're changing the screens. Pretty quickly They just they just hit it they just did it. Air Smith into second now within looks like five dollars and twenty cents of John Vail now remember. That's a huge difference between first and second this contest. Eight hundred for I two fifty for second so those could end up being very critical points. Ray arsenault back to third and then the action at the bottom half of the leaderboard with with Armen RAF Magneti just sort of inching along picking up those extra six dollars but it doesn't change your much in the standings but that's not what really matters just means now to move move up. The leaderboard can have a much shorter price as a result of those extra six dollars when it comes to making decisions about what targeted he wants to try to hit as we proceed at this final tables well fifteen twenty added to goldsmiths total and it puts them right right this immediately in changes veils. What what veils thinking has to be nat ray he before had the protection of a five to one shot essentially now? He's got the protection of an even money shot very different things but I think it's too early for him to worry about defense. I feel like the right move for him. Just continue to play who he likes and attempt to build this lead that he's impressively built over the course of the tournaments. I two and a half days. The for Ralph Magneti seven dollars gets him up a notch and puts him a now those spots at the bottom of the final table. Well not worth nearly as much. I'll run down that spread again from ten to fifth campus. Fifty nine fifty two eight fifty five five seven fifty eight five six sixty five seventy five but like I said the real effect of that isn't the couple of thousand dollars for moving up a spot potentially casually but just the fact that now you can go potentially spot in the appoint in the odds less when it gets down to the nitty gritty to get them to whatever his goal may be. And when you're down at the lower part here again from an expected value point of view probably makes sense to have a win or bust mentality but in the real world. I think a lot of horse players are going to say. Okay look the top four all get one hundred thousand. I'M GONNA try to get myself up into that range and then if there's an opportunity to inch up further and maybe get the whole thing. Worry.

"I'm out here as the wing man extraordinary support the champ okay and the champ. The champ always a fabulous sport. Do we have some thoughts about how to approach this this table and the way things things are laid out at brow. Grab that stick swell finish. We're bad luck. I thought we're good luck. I Dunno remains could be Ralph Magneti sitting down and Ralph with your thoughts any final table. Yeah I gotTA WORK SINCE WE WON'T KEEP you won't you want but you fought back you were you were out and you search. What was the key in the semifinals? Today well I had the favorite fairgrounds. That was my only winner. Wow I had the six four. Your state various came in second and that was enough. I didn't think I was GONNA be there when I was at tastic. Let you get to work. We don't I want to interrupt a catch up with you later. Visit yesterday and Scott speed my view. These folks out to Ralph Magneti back so the boys have is the guy. How does a guy like Ralph and how how does he approach things? Other than Scott. Kohl's last year it's unusual for there hasn't been much movement. Yeah that'd be really. It's not like we had a whole bunch of prices today. I like we did yesterday. That created all the chaos. I mean I think what Eric said you know you kind of have to at least the first segment you you look. If you break it down into three segments you gotta pick some winners as long as you're not odds on favorites and then kind of go from there so you're going to play it in segments three three and four or four take the first four races. Play who you like. You can see where you're at. I don't think you can go in with a set strategy is going to see where where you land.

"Show. We're talking with Myra Magneti editor at large, at the Manhattan institute city journal. And he is also the author of parents, Thomas, and the lost constitution which goes into specifics of a lot of things that we've all suspected for quite a while. And this is Tim in Medford, Wisconsin who joins us. Hello, tim. Good evening. Good evening. Jimbo misdemeanor. I'm just curious on a more personal level his clear. What is Clarence Thomas opinion, as he said, in any public writings, or lectures, about Thurgood Marshall, the man he replaced, the only other African American on the court, who ironically is to borrow jimbo's phrase? I think would he and Clarence Thomas would get an argument as to whether or not the sun would rise in the east in terms of our judicial. This is the answer is surprising. So, of course, as the as the new man on the court Clarence Thomas, went to see Justice Marshall and they had, they had long, and friendly and warm conversation and Justice Marshall said, look, I did in my time, what I had to do, you'll do in your time, what you have to do, and there was no bitterness, no rivalry. It was just, you know, welcome to the court and do do the best you can do. And one of the things that Clarence Thomas has said publicly over and over again. Is that it is the most wonderful atmosphere to work in fear that all of the justices are so civil so friendly, yes, they disagree very, very sharply. But they are a kind of model I think too, you know, for all. Americans. I wish I wish that we could see this on C span that you can't disagree in the most fundamental way as they do. And yet, discuss these things civilly. We all need to be able to do that again. We used to be able to it would be nice if we could I, of course, very famously, of course the, the, the friendship and opera attendance by Antonin Scalia and Ruth Bader Ginsburg. But given the how the court has become so polarized in recent times I it's hard for me to believe that this is a universal tendency that they are generally collegial. I, I would hope is true and Ali, I'll take your word that it is. It's not a word. It's, it's Justice Thomas. And I don't know if it's. But there must be at least some examples of people who just rub each other the wrong way. I mean you sit around working with the same nine people for decades, in some cases, that would be remarkable. If there isn't some friction, you know, it one of the interesting things about if you read the biography of chief, Justice John Marshall is that he was the longest serving chief Justice ever and his whole effort was to forge the court into a band of brothers. And he did he was the most genial may. And he, he, you know, when and they all they of course, the court wasn't in session, sessional the time all year long. So when they came to Washington, for the sessions, they all live in the same boarding house, and he'd say, well, you know, time to bring out the Madeira and they'd have dinner and they drink their Madeira and they talk about the cases and they were friends. They really were this Memphis fan. That's an interesting thing you brought up about Marshall. That's true. And I think that probably when it finally stopped happening, I think it was very disappointing to Marshall because they, they were like the kids at summer camp. Live together. They work at seriously stayed the same boardinghouse. I mean you talk about a VM together today with the same people at least it's only nine to five today back then it was twenty four seven you know. This, this business of the civility of the court it kind of, you know, brings to mind, another very important strain in Clarence Thomas, public career. This is not an his jurisprudence, but it's in his speeches, and it's in his wonderful memoir, and what he says, is, you know, when I was a kid, we always read biographies of great men, George Washington. George Washington, Carver, and the idea was that the virtues allowed them to do great things that made the country, a great and better place, and we always were brought up and no. He was brought up poor segregated savannah. He said, I was always brought up to believe that, of course, you were going to meet with adversity by just by definition, and your job was to overcome, you know where there's a will there's a way said nowadays. We all harp on victimhood. It's they're all these circumstances out there that over master us, this is like the Franklin Roosevelt, new deal vision. And we, we, we need some big force, like government to take care of us. We're not responsible for our own fate, and Justice. Thomas is what the conclusion Justice Thomas draws from this, and it's the same conclusion that George Washington, drew in his farewell address, is that it takes a special kind of personal and national character to be capable of liberty and as George wash to set in his farewell address, if Americans ever become listless for the preservation of liberty then no mound of parchment, no constitution. Can't stop the potential tyrants within the government from. From input from imposing tyranny. There are words that should be emblazoned in the front of every school in the land. We'll take a quick break and be back with more with Myron magnet. Clarence thomas. The lost constitution. We'll be back in a moment. They always told will.

We'll discuss with him, which is something that got the president's gander up yesterday. Bernie, anytime. They put somebody on Fox News. That's not a Republican and God forbid, a kind of goes, you may remember like a month ago. Bernie Sanders had a very successful stint on a Sunday night on Fox News. Mayor Pete got a standing ovation with Chris Wallace last night and not really pissed off the president apparently. Yes. I completely and totally forgot about this thing until it was too late. And they didn't repeat it. Whatever I didn't see it. I missed it. I don't know how it went. But yeah, that's what I read on drug at one. Very well. Got a standing, oh, he did some policy stuff he obviously talked about late term abortions. But if the president got upset, that's all you need to know burn it had to go across very likeable. Yeah. Well he is that's, that's his. That's the story on him. Is that he's likable, and he's smart. Even nicknamed may repeat. It's a likable name. But you wish they call them sneaky, Pete not mayor Pete. Maybe Trumbull calling him sneaky, Pete. He may Pete Buddha change with Chris Wallace talking about Trump in his tweets. This is all courtesy of Fox News last night. How would you deal with him because that's one of the concerns democrat who can be on the debate stage. And who how would you handle the insults and the attacks and the tweets and all of that? The tweets are I don't care..

"And so they were breaking down systems Bosch injection systems. Gauges breaks which looking back at the time was, you know, just this magical stuff this black art today. It's you know, blindfold stolen. You do. They try and convince you at the time because it took me a long time, and I never went to work for a Ferrari store or anything. But I so long. I thought exotic cars were made of exotic parts for so long. Well, and it doesn't a long time to realize that for the most part that wasn't exactly true in what respect well. Well, not as I mean. Okay. So so maybe they used a a certain type of alloy on their valves or whatever. But but like other shit, like switches and light bulbs and seat Motors and door struts. And and basic stuff was just, you know, bent metal and rubber like anything else. Just under a a pretty skin to a point. Yeah. It'd be nice. If everything Italian used all the same window switches because it cool. No problem. Yeah. Oh, no. This is a nineteen ninety eight boxer Ferrari window, switch Eighty-eight. Well, I'm sorry. Dicey ninety you said ninety eight seventy meant to say, and it's like their special. It's like, okay, we're we're gonna find one don't exist. Yeah. And the replacement looks like shit because it came out of a BMW or something. So in that respect. Motors are made by Magneti Marelli. But when you get into the uniqueness of what a Ferrari is like, let's play with the boxer my favorite. Your favorite wise, boxer your favorite that is the closest thing you can get to a full on the Mons p car a prototype car for the street. That's one of the most amazing craziest. Nothing compares to it. Really nothing comparison one a long time ago. I don't remember it giving me the physios. Ooh, you got to kick ass. And maybe because it was on my heart is not comfortable being addict to it. Drive your car. Okay. Cool. My catch me. So the aluminum blocks are in Nicosia will alloy silicon alloy not Nicosia that's the coating for things in the future. I don't know. It's just and Lamborghinis close, but they're not the same the two different things and not to segue completely out of control. The castings when you when I start to break down an engine and just one little piece, you know, like amount for something that's been cast a sand casting. I'll take a look at our cleaning up and say, this is the most beautiful little piece of abstract sculpture. That's amazing. And then as you start to build it more and more ticket apart or clean it. And then put it back together and build it. It everything is it was just a work of art. And then you put it all back together. And you get it. You know, everything that's specs the tolerances talks and everything moves and concert, etc. Does what it's supposed to do, you know, and you bring it back, and you my work, which is serious fucking restoration. Everything has to be just perfect colors. All the plating everything just has to sparkle and pop as it did not with going out crazy over restoration. And then you fire that fucking thing up and it runs, and you get to the point, you know, not to get too, you know, self promoting, but you get to the point where you're so fucking good or you stride to be so good that there's no multiple trying to start it or anything you build it. So the very first time you ever try and start it. It will fire immediately. You not waiting for pumps to primary. They're all pre primed. I'm building two of those right now. And I can't fucking wait. Oh my God..
