"Sussman and Katie green on talk radio five sixty K s. Okay. So in other news involving the earth and all of his glory. This. We've. We've got so imagine imagine my friends you're simply going out on a lake to do a little fishing. So wonderful sunny day live in Arizona Roosevelt lake. And you're in the boat. Get ready to do your thing. About a half out go to the front of boat to change one of your Lurs. And there's a big surprise. And keep in mind, you're at this point in time. Away from the shore and the water's about ten feet deep. There's gigantic rattlesnake at your boat. No. A five foot long rattlesnake inside this guy's boat. He had no idea. Now, he's trapped there it is. Oh my God five long. So what does this guy the first thing? He does is. Of course, takes a selfie. What that was his reaction. Yes. His first reaction was get up. My camera. Then then after he was able to proved everyone. Yes, there really was a rattlesnake in my boat. This five foot long. It's a big rattlesnake rattlesnakes swim. They don't do. They know. That's the point. It was. I mean that was the point of trying to make this thing you're far from shore. And you're in ten foot of water nuke new new poop poop poop poop dope. So of course snaps if you photos. Then why guess a fishing net? Which he was able to guide the snake into and then it was identified by the way for those wondering western diamondback rattlesnake, and then he was able to take that net and just basically place it in the water. And so it was it was basically, I think it is life was ended. In Roosevelt lake where drown know what's gonna happen is somebody will say that's an endangered species and gonna be trouble. That's exactly what's going to happen. I would have thrown that net. So far. Like a javelin. We'll see the thing is I'm guessing he was thinking I don't want to lose my. I don't wanna lose a good net. Right. Piece of equipment, man. I don't know. Then we've got this guy this fellow here. Here's a fellow this guy reeled in a one hundred two pound catfish. A one hundred two pound catfish is I mean, it's massive. And he did it. I'm looking at the fishing pole. This twenty year old used I don't know how experience he was fishing. But this was definitely the wrong kind of rod to be used for this kind of fish nonetheless. He was able to pull it in. So more power to them. This was the kind of fish rod that you would use for. Well, it had it was outfitted with only a twenty pound line. And he was able to real in a one hundred pound catfish with this thing. Okay. Gyms in Vallejo. Jim. Are you kidding me? Rattlesnakes swim. Very well. Yeah, they swim. Excellent. Are you idea? What honor to be talking to you, Brian? Well, what an honor to be spoiled by Jim seriously, they swim. Oh, yeah. Why don't the water? Really? Well, oh, gosh, I've been fly fishing in rivers around California. And right down from the river from me. Here comes this swimming ride on top of the water, right? Pass me. Okay. So maybe that's. Gosh. And and when. A sea serpent Minnie's urp it it is. You know, they say white men can't jump white men. Sure can run on top of the water pretty fast. I'll bet. Oh my gosh. Now prior to seeing that rattlesnakes swimming, did you know, they could do that. I did not. I have seen a snake swim before kind of grew up in the country out your grass valley. Okay. I've seen them, you know, through my life swimming that but never rattlesnake. But this one was a big rattlesnake. It was about the same size as the one in that boat. Okay. So maybe that's why it all comes together. Then maybe the reason why he scooped it up in the fishing net. And then kept it in the net as he was as he was travelling forward. So it couldn't escape. Yes. I also have a story about a both at a rattlesnake and a friend of mine was out in late. A rattlesnake was swimming on top of the water and swam and went up in into his vote. Crawled up the side of the boat and went in the boat and. Jumped out about and swam to the shore. The boat. Yeah. Well, I could see how that would happen. That's why I thought this guy was pretty amazing. Because the first thing he does to see the sizes take pictures with it. Yeah. Well, I don't know either amazing stupid one of the two thirty. Not a smart move there. I'm gonna hang up on myself. Brian just want to say what an is Hank. You very much. I mean, you jump out of the water where the snake came from doesn't have friends in the water to be Frank. Okay. So now, see I've learned something today. I honestly I had no idea that they could swim. I that's frightening. Okay. Again, could Lord. Yes. It's true. Well, fortunately, if they do swim from what we've heard that. It's on the top of the water. So at least you could see him coming. Oh, great. Yeah. Thank you. I guess that's better. And then a five foot is going to be able to slither across that water. Pretty quickly. I'm guessing because their tails a weapon that's writing that is okay. So we go for the rattlesnake and the boat to the fishermen really one hundred pound catfish with a rod with a twenty pound line. That's awesome. And that is I mean that folks that is a joke. I mean, he really did this you could tell the kids face. He's like totally stunned that amazed that we got liquid blood taken from a frozen horse that scientists hope to clone. They say was frozen and the Russian Arctic. But forty two thousand years old that I've got one more for you. What was the other? I had one other interesting. Animal story here. Maybe this is no wild kingdom. Right. Mcdonald kid calls nine one one Jack Daniels, most popular shot in and out fun facts. Okay. Well, we'll oh, humid composting. That's the story that we didn't finish up. This is this is up in Washington state. So this happened on Friday lawmakers passed a Bill that would allow residents to take part in national or natural organic reduction of human remains. So you know, when grandma grandpa dies, you could bury them in your backyard compost. Weirdest thing. How are they going to distinguish between that and an actual crime cover up? Okay. Well, that's interesting too. I you know, what they'll they'll settle that. Because you'll need to have a license. Yes. They have to make money off of it. You'll get a permit. So there was a. I don't know what to well. First of all, I ask you. Why are we running out of room to vary? People is that the idea. I mean, maybe that's some kind of green new new thing. That's interesting. So the report pointed out that a measure so they've been they've been doing trials on this. This who's been doing trials? People up in Washington. They've been doing trials initially. Yes, these were official trials involved six they called him backers who agreed to organic reduction. So I'm wondering how these six backers people who died. One would think I the results were positive and the smell the soil smelled like soil and nothing else. Disturbing. I'm sorry. Okay. This this. This is a this is a case that proves that. These lawmakers have way too much time on their hands a part time legislature. Yes, they would never do this in Texas legislature meets six weeks every other year, they wouldn't have time even consider something like this twenty eight minutes past seven o'clock four one five eight zero eight fifty six hundred. Okay. As if oh for well. It'll be this Thursday. We've been talking about this for a couple of weeks now. But it's finally here Thursday. Like, there's either light there late, and they saw your stomach with this is what happens me with soup fill my stomach with a lot of liquid. And then I'm hungry. Half an hour. I'm peeing on the. That'd be on us. I don't know. I I just I didn't that's really cool that you like soup. I really happy for you understand at CBS. I'm fucking stranded. What am I gonna do go to maggiano's in the grove or go to air want? It's been forty dollars. I have to go to the commissary and the best option is the soup. I'm a product of my day. All our all our. So I what do you supplement though when you have soup? I got hit depends on day to day Honey, sometimes I'll go and I'll get a soup, and then they'll have steamed vegetable like on the side like the cooking station. Sometimes I'll get a full salad with the soup. Saw last week. I got a grilled cheese. And I was like that'll be good. It was fucking disgusting grilled cheeses made with like prison cheese predictably awful, I felt like shit after eight, but I ate it, you know, and then there, so they're snacks. Plenty of the office today. I had my soup and salad, and then jars ater, I little bag of wheat thins like, you know, that's basically corrugated cardboard cut into shape. But what do I care? I miss that. You do. They're real good. They're still good. They got we are funny because they're almost like a desert in a way. They're so sweet sweet, man. A wheat thing with a little like chunky piece of cheddar cheese. It was really good weird. No, we. Some weird shit and cream cheese in my lifetime, girl. That's me. Your burger the right tree when I was really little. I'm not trying to get to a weird like food place right now. But I had this one friend I won't their name in case. She's listening what she's not and she had this like illicit snack. That was cheese it dipped in frosting, like a tub of frosting has like, oh like what is that? And then I tried it. And it was like it was like, I started seeing colors shames. We're here for For the the first first one. one. That was definitely my first experience with psychedelics. She's it's almost like a cream cheese situation going on leaguer. Aw. Trip it from that. I remember very common to have a, you know, a pastry filled with cheese. So it makes sense. It's kind of the same thing. Oh god. And I'm Kelly wet my mouth. Hungry. You really sprouts on the way home sprouts. I I would be down for taco Taco Bell run. I'm you know, what it's inflows of my diet. Sometimes you're in a we thin the Taco Bell place in sometimes you're like on your sprouts. You know, but I I I'm gonna get the peanut butter clusters. "I'll tell you Jay Doherty has done such a great job with that. It's a public policy forum that has been around for years, but Jay is taken it to a new level where if you want to know what's happening in this town, and that's that's the place to be at maggiano's right over by granting Clark and have the privilege of speaking there on the twenty ninth about the hundred club, and to talk about all the things that we're doing and how we're helping our families the fallen police and fire, and there's a couple of new initiatives this year we wanted to touch base on two before we let you go panel discussions with first responder women in leadership positions in both police and fire perk Meyer. Immediately. Yeah. Under a we have watched over this past year, especially in two thousand eighteen with all the tragedy in violence that we've seen and so many times that our police officers you'll hear about the negative story. And it's hard to imagine how difficult this job is for that. And so we want to elevate that we want people to know what a commitment is by our police officers firefighters, and it's a commitment for the entire family. And especially now with the women that are in. Police and fire. I was at today there was three hundred and fifteen new graduates of the Chicago police academy, and and so many young women are also stepping up to to give back and help protect our community. And so we're going to put a special focus on that this year with panels with women in leadership positions, both police and fire to talk about the job and talk about the how difficult it is. But also how they're giving back to make our community a better place to live, and then also technology with all the new technology is taking place it's helped to make our streets safer and to help our police officers, but it doesn't take away how difficult this job is. Absolutely. And it was a beautiful beautiful ceremony. Today. We have to give props to Michael Heideman, our producer his brother today was part of that ceremony. Him for his work. Congratulations. Yeah. Big thumbs up. Michael was posted pictures online. So thank you to your brother. And that's it's wonderful. And thank you again. The one hundred club how can people get involved if they want to learn more about the one hundred club make a donation get their first look for charity tickets, which everybody should do or see you speaking at the city club. Joe how do we.

"Cheddar, plus pretzel these names are so upsetting. Honestly, the only natural thing in this is the salmonella also with the fuck is fair powder. Is that what people used to get buff? Yeah, goldfish. That's fantastic news for me anyway, max. This story was on Twitter, a bunch, a mind, controlling parasite, found in catch. It may give people the courage they need to become entrepreneurs. There you go. There you go. If you want to start a business, eat a cats, but don't need to go to business school. Just take that litterbox turn it upside down. So basically researchers found that people infected with the tuck so plasma Gandhi parasite. That's probably not how you pronounce. It definitely seems like you're blaming Gandhi for this. That's spelled g. o. n. d. i. anyway, people with this parasite are more likely to major in. Business and who have started their own business than non infected people. Also, taco plasmas has been linked to a greater risk of car accidents, mental illness, neuroticism, drug abuse and suicide. So it's not all starting a risky business. You know, it's more just like a fun coincidence. The parasite is in cap poop in. It's because the the idea is that rats eat it, and then they become unafraid of the cats and it's the parasites way of making sure that the cats eat the rat and then give birth to more parasites. That's parasites are fucked up. Yeah, parasites are bucked up. And finally, a mand detained by officers in Maryland told police. He worked at crispy cream and he could hook them up with donuts whenever they want. If he let them go, honestly, us. Use what you got? Yeah. If I worked out crispy cream, I dish out those donuts to get me everything I wanted. I mean, the best Donut is the crispy cream, cinnamon Donut, whoa, period by the way, I mean of all donuts. All right. That's an insane statement to me, but I feel like crispy cream donuts are two Gysi Thurs to. It's like they just are like dipped in. It's just the relief fucked with glaze. Yeah, like thoroughly fucked it like against the wall. Dirk. Just to like fully boo cocky in daytime, to full lights, all the lights on. And that's it for worse things I next up. We're taking you to maggiano's and break in your hearts. That's right. We're diving deep into dating. Deep dive, Jeep, Jeep. Deep deep..
