In-Depth With the Chief's Chief, Mark Meadows

"So can you talk a little bit about just, you know, I want to hone in on this, how president Trump was running the government with your help and others, but he was being undermined by people within the administrative state and that apparatus. We call this the deep state, but to what extent did that really exist Mark? Because it's a hard thing for people. People think you win the election you take over the whole government. It's not true. Well, you don't take over the whole government and honestly, even with some of the very people that the president put in place, people that they were supposedly maga people that were coming in to work for him, really what they were, were swamp creatures. You know, they had had Potomac fever. They had drank the Kool-Aid over and over again. All they cared about was the power that existed around the Oval Office. And so here so you ask if it is real. So as chief of staff, I came in. The leaks drove me crazy. We fired a couple of people. We asked them to use their talents and other places very quickly when we found out. But even within the west wing, we found that there was a lot of people that for their own personal advantage, they would talk to the press, they would leak out less than flattering stories, oftentimes. In fact, almost all of the time with only partial truth. So I was chief of staff for maybe a week. We're going over a speech that the president is going to give later later that evening. Literally while I'm meeting with the president while we're making changes to the speech, they're reporting on the news. Somebody had leaked his speech out and that came from the west wing and others. And so what we did was actually said, well, less people are going to get to see that speech and we had people pushing back like crazy. How are you taking me off the approval list? Well, it's amazing how many speeches didn't get broadcast before he gave them

Jennifer Horn Describes What the MAGA Movement Meant to Her

"Welcome back to one on one with Jennifer hoon. You have been very open Jennifer. In your political stance, you are a proud supporter of the concept of making America great again. You are proud bearer and wearer of all things America first. The merchandise that is. My weekend wear. It's a weekend. When it's not sparkly, it's America first stuff that you can get at our store. Talk to us. We should get some sequined maga stuff for me, by the way. Is that off brand? Well, I can hang. Yeah, that's okay. Talk to us about your take and not the California perspective or the radio show host perspective. Told us about what the maga movement meant to you and the significance of this non politician becoming a president 5 years ago. Well, I think the maga movement meant a lot to me and I identified it really, really early on, and it's because of my it's because of my roots being planted in California that I think it sunk in so much for me. So I can remember clear as day that morning in June. I was Scott walker to the max. You know, there were these rumblings about Donald Trump, maybe jumping in or not, didn't know too much about what he would say didn't know if it was going to be serious or not. Thought, you know what, the more the merrier, it didn't, you know, it didn't make me sad that he was thinking about it. But I remember getting ready for work, and I was sitting on my bed, putting on my shoes. I can visualize this. And I see him come down the escalator with Melania and I see him come to that podium and the very first thing that he talked about was immigration. The very first thing and Seb, I've lived in a border state, my entire life, and I have seen people get left behind. I've seen people living in the shadows. I've seen our school in our hospitals, just get run down because they couldn't handle the load of people using them. And I thought, this is the only man that I have seen that is brave enough to tackle this as the first issue that he's I mean, he walked off the elevator and started talking about immigration. And I mean, that was incredibly brave. Most politicians do not have the backbone to go to a controversial issue like immigration first

Andy Surabian on 2016 and the Power of Trump's Appeal

"Back with my former White House colleague, special assistant to president Trump Andy Sarah. We've talked about 2016. We've talked about how you got involved in politics. When he talked to us about the last four years plus 9 months, talk to us about the political landscape has the GOP actually internalized what happened in 2016 and where is the stop laughing? And where is the maga movement today, Andy? I think there are aspects of the Republican Party that have internalized why president Trump was so successful and why does appeal was what it was? I don't want to name names because some of these guys, I like and I'm Friends with, but you can certainly see certain senators and congressmen who have kind of alter how they talk, what issues they focus on over the last several years. And there's a reason for that because I think there is an element of the Republican Party that has figured out his appeal and understands it. I also think there's an element a big element, unfortunately, the Republican Party that either a never understood his appeal or even worse be understood as appeal and hated him for it. And those are the Paul ryans of the world who were ideologically opposed to Donald Trump on issues like immigration in trade. I mean, I think Paul Ryan probably understood Trump's appeal, but he just hated

Trump's Former War Room Director Andy Surabian on His Path to Politics

"He's former special assistant to president Trump and deputy political strategist. My good body. Andy, sarabia. Welcome back to America first. Thanks so much for having me today, sad. It's been way too long. It has been way too long, but we know you're a busy guy, you're in the background, you're making sure that we get the right maga candidates and that they win and this freight train of America first, not only trounces the Democrats in the midterms next year, but also our old boss will win in 2024. We have so much to discuss. You are a Republican strategist and you are the spokesperson for Donald Trump Jr.. So I just want to get in there that this is what these are the little things that this guy does after he leaves The White House. Hopefully we'll see him back there soon enough. Andy, let's start because we have an unfettered discussion here, say a little bit about yourself. Where do you hail from and how did you get into this? Is my dad used to say politics? It's disgusting, but it's so fascinating. So if your audience isn't able to tell by the accent that I still have to this day, I was born and raised in the very conservative dashkin of Massachusetts or the longtime nickname of tax executives. But this world has gotten so crazy that there's numerous states that have higher taxes today than Massachusetts. I mean, that's how crazy this country has gone over the last several years or we can't even really call it that's the truth it's anymore. But born and raised in Massachusetts, how did I get involved in politics, my lord? I mean, that's kind of an interesting question. I will give you the short version. Was originally interested in politics, via Ron Paul's presidential campaign in 2008. And I was just very interested in seeing someone come from outside the typical political

Julie Kelly Describes How Trump Supporters Are Being Turned Into Convicted Felons

"Kelley welcome to america. First one on one. Thank you for having me. One an intro. So i know the invoice in the mail. So what did you talk about. Yes there was a topic of your panel. Just a little snippet so the subject that i've been covering for the last several months as you know we've talked about is january six out of laughed and the biden regime the media weaponising it against not just the people who were there that day but everyone on the right by extension almost seventy five million trump voters and so How that investigation is accelerating and how it is ensnared now over six hundred americans and they have been even more. Recent arrests have not every week. There are new arrests so with the justice department. Continues this what. I call terror crusade. We could we probably jihad against maga. It is it is. I mean this is what you see. So that the panel discussion yesterday was vaccine mandates and then january six. You could see the convergence relation vaccine mandates The the hunt for the quote unquote insurrectionists criminalising conservatives is it not criminalizing conservatives and criminalizing dissent so that is really what they're doing now the vaccine mandates mandates et cetera. Et one thing But what they're really doing with the january sixth investigation Prosecuting people for trespassing adding felony charges. Keeping now about sixty people behind bars denied bail under pretrial detention dot by. Let's stop here. Sixty people who is any one of them charged with insurrectional revolution. Yeah so what are they challenged with. Julie mostly trespassing civil disorder conspiracy a felony charge. That's very common is obstruction of official proceeding. Which more the two hundred people face. That charges never been applied to a political protests. Ever and never was. It's a two thousand two statute that was posted. Enron that would stop people from interfering in congressional inquiries. It was never intended for people who walked in the capital when they were certifying electoral college. George W. Bush Compares Domestic Violent Extremists to 9/11 Terrorists in Appalling Speech

"This is the man who i don't know he he he he's meant to be a conservative He was a republican president. He went to shanksville pennsylvania to the field where flight ninety three crashed off to those brave brave men took it back from the territory. Terrorists to save lives in dc and this is what he said on the twentieth anniversary of nine eleven. This is the man who was president. When nine eleven happened cut to play cup little cultural overlap between violent extremists abroad and violent extremists at home. But then there's disdainful pluralism in their disregard for human life in their determination to defile national symbols. They are children of the same foul spirit and it is our continuing duty to confront them. Children of the same foul spread so nine eleven bin laden and maga- supporters are the same but lemon antiques. Don't get a mention your action cuddle. Why are they got was the most disgusting thing i i. I've seen in years. You know. I supported that guy. I had his back when he wouldn't defend himself because he was a gentleman. Dr gorka and is soon as it became clear that he's useless brother. Please clap. jeb. Of was not going to get our support because of his unbroken tracker failure George bush discovered his voice and decide to use it against the very same people who supported him. What i'm the marxist. But it's becoming clear that class that is the guys who hang out at the country club seems to take priority over actual policies. I i'm so disgusted by this guy. This is so bankrupt. Guy went off to war for his father. I deployed under him I was a loyal supporter and be charged with his blood. Libel this disgusting slander. Jonathan Capehart Says MAGA Movement Is 'More Worrisome' Than Foreign Terrorists

"To be talked to like adults. There is not a collective more that binds us together and the terrorists apart. There is a lot tearing us apart right now. You want evidence queue up for me Cut. Three. Jim. This is Jonathan Capehart, one of the dumbest guys on television. The only reason we put them in my dopey talking head Olympics because candidly nobody knows who he is. So it doesn't matter anyway. But occasionally he surfaces with some pearl of stupidity, not wisdom. And here's him this weekend on PBS or whatever. Was he on? Jim was a PBS usually, uh, PBS. See, Jim's always great. He actually puts it, I send them clips. I never put any details. He had poor guys to fill them in. So here's Jonathan Capehart on PBS with the ever hapless David Brooks from The New York Times who pretends to be a conservative, you know, shaking his head to an agreement with it, like Bozo the clown. Here's K part but the silliest man on television talking about how Maga Yeah, the Maga move, Make America great again. Moving is definitely more worrisome than the the terrorists. Check this out. I think, um Marga and the domestic terror threat is much more worrisome. Then any foreign threat we could face. And David Brooks is over there with his spectacles on going on. They have bozo the clown. I agree, uh, morons. And again you expect me to? It's going to let let's just throw cliche nonsense out there to an audience. I would have no respect for you at all. There's so much more to get back to 9 12. There's so much more that binds us here. No, there's not. No, there isn't No, there isn't cut the crap. Stop talking to people like they're idiots. "Be honest with not herself. Moshe wordlessly say this to be honest with you hearing all this stuff to me right now. You've become the friend in my life. That's just got a lot of chaos and mess going on. And i actually need this draw some boundaries with you and then this relationship okay. Here's here's a if you want a lie. Here's a good one good lie you know. I've been talking to my therapist love this. I'm just. I'm really thinking like. I don't know i'm just going through so many changes. There's so much new stuff happening. And i really think it's important that i just have like cut some cut some ties to blah blah blah. Whatever the fuck is name is of this and you can just you can just blame it on that and and just really assure her that like you know i i really. I want you to know like anything you've ever told me. Don't tell people you know between us if that's a concern of hers can love the abuse to my therapist and she thinks i should take a little bit of distance. Because you know you know me you say you know me. I'm a little. Like i got a lot of drama like i'm dating my ex-boyfriends best former best friend and then you're my friend is a friend of the i just need some simplicity and my therapist told me i've got just choose a few relationships and put some on the back burner and fortunately that's about choosing a few relationships that does kind of make the person feel like they lost so what she's gonna break up no matter what you're going to hurt this person's feelings on your way out on the phone. Yeah that's what i was gonna ask next because we've just been texting and the other is isn't a text. Yeah it's it's hard. Because so where i live now. She lives like five minutes away. And it's really rural. So she like is my only friend nearby and so i feel even worse. Because i've been so busy. But like i haven't made time even though she's really close or you off a song list you want the simplest out. Here's the strode out without with the least amount of trauma. Don't text her back for a long time right like i like go no more a few weeks. Then this is your strategy. You don't text her back like a few weeks. Then you write her back and you go. Oh my god i'm so. Sorry i totally ghosted you. The truth is i'm just dealing with a lot of shit right. I don't have time. Like i'm just overwhelmed by the amount of different stuff. I have to do and i am so sorry. I think i need to like shut things down and focus on myself for a little while. All hit you up. When i'm ready to to re-engage our friendship but for now i need to focus on my own stuff. Okay now. here's why i would do. I would time by so we're going to look because that seems weird to me but that already happened to. I've already done that. What happened in response she. We didn't talk for a while. And then she's been hitting me up again. 'cause like apple. Yeah my thing was. I was moving back to my parents. And it was like dealing with the break-up and all of that and like i would texture. Once i felt settled so it's been like long enough now. You're fucked up here dude. This is new when she texted you back after the break you're supposed to not ever texture again. That was so obvious and so easy you had an out. You'd taken a boundary. She didn't respect it and you didn't owe her a text back but then you start feeling guilty and you got reengaged in her drama. I just really don't think a text is the right place to say this. I liked to like write things down and then make a phone call and then you can just kind of keep repeating them keep repeating your point feel break up with a friend is so awkward and so like over the top for what. The relationship actually is that. That's why i actually. I'm a proponent of just taking distance but she seems like laurel you're leaning in natasha's direction so you guys should talk about this phone call. I'm i've already got like notes for tonight. So i am like a note taker and i have to do that before phone calls because it's like it just helps women a lot too. I think because it's like helps you not get real and helps you like steer very stay on task and clear and knocking motions like you know. I feel like you know men just naturally feel like they deserve everything women. It's just a little harder for us to really be able to stand firm right right because men can walk through most given interactions and not gender them and they don't reduce gender centralism and that men act like this woman quick system were able to say this is how the people are walking through this experience. But but honestly like you know you could actually for you to call her without unprompted because then it's like she's like hey i'm just sitting here so it's almost like throwing her off. Yeah you kinda wanna wait for her to like reach out to you two or three times and then you can kind of be like hey. Do you have a second to chat on the phone. It's not gonna feel good no matter what but making yourself a little more clear not getting into a text back and forth with someone who's like clearly slightly unstable. You know they're just not. This is what. I think you want to avoid personally. Is the call where you call and you tell her version of the truth. That is destructive to her. We where you say some version of look. This relationship for me is just so taxing and motion. You require so much from me. That i can't give it to you. It's more like you know finding the kind of space space between the white lie and the truth which is like gentlest version. Yeah making it all about. You is just like i just to be honest with you right now. I don't have time in my life for relationships that take a lot of work and like unfortunately i.

"Through of what logical outcome would i want of inserting myself into this. And i don't think there's any any good to come of it. I kinda just needed a third party. Maybe talked me off the edge. You know he's having a real talk about this kind of interpersonal relationship in relationship with a friend it is a classic situation to find yourself in a relationship with a dear friend and they start dating someone and you can't fucking stand that person and devices kind of always the same. You just gotta stay out of that person's way as much as you can and be the best friend you can them. Yeah all okay all right well. Good luck justin. Thank you very much time. One last one possible idea. You live in the twin cities. I do invite them to minnesota. Don't you guys have a lot of lakes. We have ten thousand. At least ten thousand lakes find an obscure lake. Invite them to minnesota. You guys go swimming and sinks. She's a witch she doesn't you know she's not a witch and then you can get all of her clients. You can expose her got it all. Invite them up and we'll we'll run out water test like see what happens. I love it all right. Well good occurred maga witch. I just when you thought you heard it all. So i mean it really is the question like what can can you be friends conservative person. I can you can. I can't be friends with a q. Person i don't know for sure that could be friends with a trump voter but i definitely have conservative. So you'd be conservative. Who didn't vote selection. What if they voted for trump. I mean don't vote. War think of any of the conservative people that i'm friends with currently petit potentially voted for. I'm sure i know. I have some friends. That voted for trump but most of my conservative friends are like intellectual conservatives. And so i feel for. They probably didn't vote in the last election. Actually i wonder that makes me want to send a text to see but you know those people are cagey to those smart conservatives are real cagey because they don't want you to know they voted for trump or whether not vaccinated because they are why would someone who vaccinated not want you to know their real conservative. They don't wanna seem like like. I was hearing ben shapiro on the radio today like going off on vaccine mandates how evil they are. But i'm like i know for sure ben. Shapiro is vaccinate. Because he's not an idiot. Then why do they do that. Why are they go off on it. I don't know one. The cynical view would be that they that they are just throwing red meat to their rabid stupid fan. The less cynical view would be that they care as they. They're care for personal liberties doesn't supersede their their supersedes their belief that vaccines are good right kind of thing or the vaccine work or whatever. I heard a quote on a podcast on the way up to burning man. Neil or nihil ferguson. Smart guy very conservative seeming very academic like cambridge guy and he was talking about vaccines and he had. He actually had a very good quote about anti vaccine people. He said if you can't weigh the risks the minute risks of a vaccine against the immense risks of a virus then you miss him very important classes in school and there's no one to blame for that but you so there is at least a group of conservative people out there there's about twenty five percent of republicans got the vaccine. I mean that's it. Thirty percent i think so. Thank god so anyway they're smart conservatives out there and i'm friends with some of them. Well that's the thing that's like. Why can't we all just get along. Does it have to matter with our politics. But the thing is conservatives are like making making this last longer so so that does make me mad. You know masks. Stop the variants. So why would you not wear masks. Do the masks stop the variants. I don't even have what the scientists say. The bigger question is the bigger. Why would you be. Why would half our population be like. I'm not going to wear a mask. That's the better question to me. Regardless i don't know why everybody expects absolute perfection and zero margin of error from the from the public health scientists. And also don't understand this whole thing that people pretend that masks so this grave imposition. It's like who the fuck cares child's development. It's never on me the whole idea. The kids are being like profoundly fucked up by ask like they might be being mildly. Mildly mildly fucked up by mass. But probably in mean moshe three mild. Lee's i'm just saying these. It's been too many years In in the house with you justin. What's happening how are you good. I'm really were great. We are great we were. We've just been discussing whether or not look like a scoutmaster and whether women whether women had a harder time over the pandemic than men did guess what moshe thinks that it's been equal in quite a. Do you have a wife. what's your i do. Yeah i'm married. I've been married for almost two years. We have a five month old ten right now. Do you think she's had to work harder over the pandemic than you have home. I i think so. Yeah yeah justin. How can we help you. Okay so i have a really good friend from college He got married a few years ago and While i disagree with his wife's politics in some other things about her she's really sweet until about the past year. So maybe more recently. She's come out of the broom. Closet is a witch has dedicated. What seems like her entire life doing which things and she started a coven with somebody. She met online here. Coven is it. Like an online coven. Yeah i guess. I don't really i don't really know your next. No no she thinks. This is as insane as i do. We can't i ask you. What are the politics that you guys disagree on. She conservative and you're liberal or are you consider okay conservative with having. That's what i was. I was hoping that you were gonna be the liberal and conservative. Because that was my mind they have. They have maga witches even possible feels not possible everyone so lost that that's her form of depression is like i'm going to be so her. Real self is the conservative straight laced person but she's finding a way to act out by flying around on a broom or whatever. Okay so so so what about it bothers you so much so like it's fine. You know find yourself in whatever you wanna do with that the thing that really crossed the line was she's got into what she calls shadow work which is really just unlicensed therapy and she markets it as out tackle your sexual trauma and it's just really upsetting somebody who's been. I do a lot of therapy to see someone who kinda pokes in doesn't necessarily poke fun at it but it lighter than it should be. I guess i see so. She's like becoming like online. Which fluence exactly i get it. I just an yasser question yet but it occurs to me that something happened in the last five to ten years. Were all of a sudden the people that i knew that were in there like early thirties. That were like kind of on the road to nowhere and we're just usually like getting sober. Kind of people didn't really have their shit together. Like pabst blue ribbon drinking kind of like wandered around and never fear at burning man. Twelfth year burning man types exactly all of a sudden had this bizarre pivot that occurred where they were like. Oh no actually. I have the moral and intellectual authority to counsel people based based sheerly on the algorithm of instagram. It's like the people that used to counsel. People were like ramdas gandhi. Jesus and then all of a sudden it just became like diane just. Some person decided all of a sudden they could help you. But so why does this bother you. I still don't understand. I guess like the primary question is do. I talked to my friend about it. He's just had bad luck with women so when he found someone that likes him for him it seemed like such a good thing and now i don't know how it feels about all of it exactly so i don't know if he feels trapped if i should reach out. It's my place stephen. Ask him about this sort of thing. The p the the reality is that if he is trapped he won't be able to admit that he's trapped because of the spell of tongue binding that snow. The reality is that he's hoping you haven't seen any of it on. That's the reality so you might as well just pretend like you. Haven't you know like a lot of people have instagram. But they don't really look at it all the time like know in you and your wife are like he doesn't know that you guys are like making fun of her behind his back but you know it's just kind of like what can you do. Would you know that which pose a good guaranteed oh guaranteed and -servative which pussy even better. It's transgressive it's got its transgressive in multiple areas. That wants to. It's like it's forbidden fruit in all these different ways. I bet the sex is great. I mean there's nothing that you can do about a friend with an annoying partner. It's really really not your business. Your business to draw boundaries and. It's going to be difficult to do because to be honest with the all the bounds. You put up sh. She'll she'll light. Cone of incense and bubble will destroy those batteries. But i'm just saying like really. No you should definitely he. He knows neither thinks it's cool or knows and cringes at it but it is willing to accept despite the fact that it's cringe and you definitely shouldn't because then you just not well then you lose a friend and be happy for him that he's having sex and you know maybe it's like a persona thing but you know. How often do you have to hang out with them. Not very often. That's the thing is it used to be much more often. But they've moved recently so I don't know if they've moved really far away. So i don't know off. He's like reestablishing social circles. And that sort of thing that did they. They moved to. What iceland or transylvania. Where do we go. Exactly the nashville. Apparently he i don't know why so. Shadow work is just like when a witch decides she can council you exactly and it's very expensive. We looked it up on our website today. And it's like a thousand dollars a year. I guess to do this. That's the bare minimum subscription. you can have does. She have clients. I haven't i haven't asked. It's just kind of been one. I mean you know if you if you do your due diligence as a friend and try to divorce this thing from. It's like salacious topic which is that. It's it's wiccan ism and not just think of it what it really is which is just like religious counseling. Think of it like that. It becomes less like wild and just it's still just as annoying and inappropriate to get counseling from an untrained person. Just because they are your pastor but it makes it less like cringe. And i feel focusing on that right. What do you think tauch. yeah. I mean again. It's not it's there's nothing you can really do except be glad that your wife isn't like that and be happy for your friend. He has someone to have sex with and just try to stay out of it. You can't try to pretend. Like if i mean what i would do is i will pretend like. I didn't see it just might not be the right thing to do. I just like unless it's really involving you. You just want to embarrass them. I just realized the biggest bit of advice of all do not get involved. What if you break them up. Do you know how how beer spelling yes. How severe the curse would be how bad the cursor be for. Ruining this woman's love life you'd be visited by like little little dancing visions of trump every night you'd never unanimous voting you'd end up voting for donald junior in the twenty twenty direction. Will you'd have to because you'd be under a spell point. Yeah yeah. I thought this..

"Working now and take care of the family. Yes i've so a lot of women are not. I can't go on the road right now. Because i have a kid who's not vaccinated. I can't travel with or i could stay home with the gate and you could go on the road but our jobs that we want to do right now are for the podcast. Go together but so i'm kind of like i also can't go on the road to the guests for the same reason i know but i'm just saying that's like that's a really but i'm at work but i'm the man in this scenario and i can't do the thing that you just described. A lot of men are doing it. Go go on the road by yourself. If you want the child home alone with me right you did do that. You went on the road. You went to atlanta for a month and i watched our child like a like a young like a scout microscope in so many ways i mean i'm not saying i don't think that there's been a disproportionate amount of labor laid at the feet of women. I'm sure that there has. I'm sure the women have had it harder. Generally than men in the way that they have it harder generally in the workforce period. But i think it's unfair to say like women are depressed because of the pandemic and men are skipping and going to music festivals and like just having a good old time like a lot of men are are in the same position stuck at home devastated in deployed or whatever you said deployed. Why don't we answer some fan mail. Well we just got a couple of bits of feedback from some of the topics of the last couple of weeks talking about politics with hired help. Oh this is what i said that. Yeah you have someone over. And they're like. Hey you know that you know. He's like your plumber. And he starts telling you that foul she made seven million dollars during the pandemic. Would you do that was kind of. I think this is what this is addressing someone on the opposite side of the equation. I completely relate to a natasha. What else is new said about. Being anxious about political discussions between service providers slash customer. At least in your situation you can always just go to a different part of the house and leave the maga plummer to rant alone at. You're backed up toilet. I'm stuck in whatever room. I'm working in till the is done. So he's what he like works. He's like a carpenter okay. I'm a carpenter. And i built a lot of custom furniture which sometimes requires me to enter people's homes to do an install. I also happen to live and what you might call an aggressively red state which means the majority of my customers don't share my politics on most issues. This would be fine. If it weren't for the fact that many of them have been so poisoned by chronic. Cable news consumption. They seem incapable of talking about literally anything else for more than five minutes. Do we so like every time you step into someone's house they wanna talk politics. That is fucked up. Part of the problem might be that being in a typically blue collar. profession. Leads them to assume that i'm on their team should keep going. It creates a lot of uncomfortable situations. Part of me wants to tell them to turn off their tv. Go read a book and quit bothering me. Like what are they saying to him. Well we could have some example. I guess he's doing the building furniture in their home. So he's kind of there all day. I'd love to get someone to come do some furniture installs for me but the rational part of me will you could have this guy over and talk to you. Guys can talk about bite in the whole time but the rational part of me knows that i need them to write me a check in about twenty minutes and not leave me she to review so i used just halfheartedly not in such a way that i hope they can tell him not really interested even if i did agree with them. I just prefer to listen to an audiobook or podcast and chatted up with a stranger. It's not as bad but along. Similar lines the guys who hit on waitresses and there's an unspoken power imbalance working in their favor that they're electing to ignore there needs to be a psa campaign addressing the stop hitting on slash engaging in potentially conversation topics with people whose livelihood is partially dependent on being nice to you. Well i that's fair. Because i was gonna say the right answer in. That thing is to go. Oh i don't like talking politics but even that could get you in a position. Where like you know they're never gonna hire you again. But also like i hire people to come do stuff and i would never bring politics up to anybody. Ooh that's not true. Who did i talk about mccain. There was a mechanic the other day you brought your car into to get your car. Reuter worked on and you said before you work on the carburetor are you vaccinated and did you vote for comma. No but i do as people through vaccinated really do you. Yeah at our kids school. They're like oh. We're not allowed to give away information about our vaccination status. I just like you know. Rally rally down with you cornered a twenty year old. I want to know if they're vaccinated. Got another my kids going to school there. We got another bit of email here about the words hooker and prostitute. There was little discussion on the podcast with a hooker was an inappropriate or appropriate word to use for sex workers these days or if prostitute was appropriate. Or what so this person writes. Hey tasha and moshe proud sex worker here and a huge fan of you both writing down her email. Hold on just a second flipping that into my phone. Okay listening to your last secrets vault. I heard you guys discussing the words hooker and prostitutes and thought i might weigh in it offers some thoughts. I know this will seem odd with the word. Prostitutes seeming to be the most professional sounding and often not use as an intended insult but in my community prostitutes actually considered the most insulting and demeaning term. I did not know that the reason for this is someone who walks down the street. Is that kind of the idea. Let's find out the reason for this is because when the word emerged in the fifteen hundreds it was defined as to put to an unworthy use to expose to shame to public shame dishonor. The word roots was always meant to be a term of humiliation and actually not to describe a profession hence the term sex worker. Now i also did not know that sex workers were such a six and toss aaron and a demolished but now the words hooker and hor- i personally have heard different for no one thinks horace positive. Let's find out proud hor. Let's proud about the they are words. Meant to demean us but many sex workers including myself feel. They've reclaimed these words and find them all right others disagree. Of course personally. I would suggest using the term of the specific kind of sex work. You're talking about in conversation. For example full-service escort sugar baby cam girl podcast host after that in just for comic relief et cetera. Hope this helps now. I i she says fiona may and she says. Ps fuck only fans. They made millions off of our work. Now they're abandoning us now. This is a classic example of a man's planning that. I'm about to but i find strap in guys i find it difficult to believe. Fiona may that the that the community of sex workers.

"Podcast my name is mosha. And i'm natasha. Got a big fight yesterday. Back from burning men. You don't even want to touch on Oria right a big fight yesterday. No dude. I have the time of my life at burning man a little bit of freedom kinda hard up. It was kind of nice though me and chelsea making fun of that today. 'cause we went into like a clothing shop. My friend chelsea peretti. And i were in a clothing shop and we were saying that like everything was so cute. Were like if there wasn't a pandemic we probably wouldn't be thinking this stuff. Was that cute. Because we're like. Oh my god. I could wear this somewhere. I could wear this summer. You're saying any clothing that even has the illusion leaving on exactly so for you just going to burning and you look at the time of my life i got. I got to hang out in the desert in one hundred degree heat. Horrible names mask burning man. A classically fun thing to do. I had a great time. I was cova safe. I didn't even flirt with anyone. I just i went swimming and women to flirt with. Even there were many women really only man would be dumb enough to have done that. Well you would be wrong about that. There's a lot of women. And i talked to a few of them this last weekend. Me and my friend. Andy would probably science podcast. Fame drove up. We soaked in hot spring on the on the night before we left. What was more fun. The ri- the ride back or the right there and back or being there. It was all fun. It was freedom and it was. It was very exciting. I will say there was not a lot to do there. There was a lot of dirt. Bikes dirt bikes. A lot and dune buggies a lot. But i was i was often. There's often not that. I did a lot of reading of of my book. I'm reading a book. Called spies of no country. What about you. what are you reading. I was reading. This amazing book called once upon a time. Gloria vanderbilt's life story. But i lost it. That's so out of character for you. That's so weird telling me that at the same time. I'm reading a book about early israeli history and you're reading a book about a famous wealthy orange avenue. She wasn't an ingenue but just like hearing about. I'm like fascinated by by this like rich person from the turn-of-the-century like what their lives. Were like really like old rich people. No i just find it fascinating she again. I mean she's anderson cooper's mom but she like lived in the breaker recoup known interesting really like fucked up life and her mother was like this. Like teenage socialite. And you know who's like made would make her a bath like three times a day would just ignore the kid. That's fucked up life right there. You gotta drawing you a crystal bath thrice daily. You actually drew me a bath. Last night i did. I'm really nice about that kind of some kind of weird hippie teabag in it. Well i wanted to talk to you about something hippie. Yeah this this lady. Natasha who live with. She's always on this like. Let's go vegan tip always like let's go vegan. Let's go big. And i'm like i'm down. And then we every time we go to vegan restaurant. She sits down. She goes okay. I'll go there. She sits down orders. Food makes a disgusted face before she takes the first by. That was so disgusting yesterday. I don't like fake meat like vegan film. I like vegan food. Like how about like an avocado sushi roll. She goes about some beans and rice. Face me and you started listing the vegan food you liked and one of the likud's you listed. Eggs is it can be called. Isn't it called like ovo then. Remarked to -tarian. Oh i don't know bit. Yeah not vegan. anyway. I don't think you would make a good viga but you do a thing that annoys me. Okay you decide. You don't like dish before you take a bite of. Because i can tell it's gross by looking at it. That was like fake bread. You didn't meet the night before two. Because i made you fake cheese or cheese so decide you saw gross. I'm sorry you didn't take a bite you don't know it was going to didn't you sneered like gloria vanderbilt when her servant made her a lukewarm bath without putting the lavender crystals into it and then pretended to eat it. You know like a personal an eating disorder on a date or whatever you didn't need that and then here's the thing i'm confused about with you. Why can't you just eat a meal. That is not that great in order to get sustenance. I dunno i'd rather not eat. You'd rather starve than eat. Something bad something. That isn't your favorite thing in the world. I'm not eating my favorite thing in the world every meal or look. Did you wanna talk about something. Oh there was one thing he said to me the other day that i thought was kind of like. I wanted to address in a public forum. Good maybe on our podcast. Yeah you were like we by the way before we get into it. What do you think of my shorts. Look look like a scout a little bit right now like a scout from the early like prewar germany. I think you're a little big for that. Moshe boy-scout we're in big a scout like a kid. You're don't look like a kid. No you look a man able to command. Scout like one of the leaders dress like a boy scout leader weight so basically the other day you said to me. You know you've really i while you're talking and you're like maybe you need a yoga class. Maybe take painting glass. And then i was like do you think i'm depressed. And you're like you just have lost some of your buoyancy this last year and a half like there's not some kind of other thing coinciding with this time gear that this whole on women have been who have been like hardships pandemic every women been carrying every woman with a family. Right now not feel completely like devastated and depleted. You know like how. How are you supposed to be like boy. I and son right now or the second conversation happened because you were like. Do you think i'm depressed and i was like. Yeah maybe mildly. And you're like what. I can't believe you would call me depressed. You see i go. I'm sorry. I didn't mean it like that. You kept bringing it up. I'm not. I'm not depressed. You why would you say that i'm depressed. How could you say that. I'm depressed and this in your defense your public defense whether the of you not being depressed you said you're devastated and depleted. That seems worse than mildly depressed. Have to be depressed. I think you have a thing that you think. Depressed mean something. That's really terrible catastrophic bad but it doesn't everybody's mildly depressed right now. You're not you're like why can't you have fun. Why can't you go to burning man like me like go to a festival in the desert. Smet not how i put it. Look am i in naturally more Optimistic optimistic isn't even actually the right word from me. I don't let the horrors of society bring down my day to day life. I we've talked about that before. Somehow i am able to despite the fact that it seems like we careening off a cliff headed towards certain doom climate doom culture doom cova doom lack empathy. What does empathy after do with it. Well what about like. what are you saying. You feel sad because everybody else's said yeah. Oh that i don't know why a collective feeling but why. Why is it bad. You're saying if someone's not up devastated in depleted. They lack empathy. I'm just trying to live fun. Good life but i wasn't criticizing you. I was trying to be supportive. And say hey. Why don't you take a yoga class. Wanna take some time to yourself. Why don't you do tennis lessons. Why don't you do a meditation practice. I was just trying to be like a supportive supportive. I really appreciate that about you. Nice little husband scout and you took it like. I was critiquing you but i wasn't and then you took the word depressed as if i was saying i think that you're like clinically and severely depressed. But i was saying like everybody's more depressed now may work two years ago and i just noticed that you two years three years ago had a. You've seem like you years ago or do you think maybe about about two years ago. I just next march circumstances. Two years are weighing heavily on your shoulders. And i wanted to help you find suggestions to get to get out of a little bit of that. I wasn't saying that you're fucked up. I just think it's a funny thing for like a guy to be like it used to be like more fun just four. There was like a national or a. I don't want to make this a men's rights thing but it's like do you think women are the only people that were affected by the pandemic you keep bringing it up as if it's like women have been affected but everybody's been seeing how many women have to.

Who Is the Heir Apparent of the MAGA Movement?

"Now somebody asked me recently. You're who is the era parent in the maga- movement and obviously you know make sense down juniors heir-apparent then but if you look at the figures in american history i guess has the guys are bobbling up right of the history. Look lincoln look at teddy. Roosevelt look at fdr moved right and then and then you know in some ways lbj. Kennedy's stuff to say so short that lbj and reagan. There's never been really a a logical error parent if you look at all of them. There was nobody who grabbed the mantle. And that's fascinating. I'm next yeah. Each one of them was their own man very much represented their own think right and then what came after. Somebody's was was a redux to the future to the past otherwise was it was into the future but it was not. Oh i am now linking number two or teddy roosevelt number two or regular h.w. Bush one that idiot election off thousand percents Off the back of ronald reagan. Bush was not yet if it is jack kemp who who was up against h. w. for the mary she was the more logical heir-apparent totally toronto. Let's be honest. As far as i'm concerned he was a bureaucrat. There's no there's no. There's no senior bush brand you don't think bush's is not right and remember. That was a bitter primary and eighty between the tool very famous. Paid for this. Mike a so. That's very real so again. I think as we look at this time and we we are so lucky that president trump continues to be the leader of the republican party movement. In this country it is. We need to be appreciative of having this larger-than-life leader in our historic moment

Democrats Can't Decide What's the Narrative of the January 6th Events

"When they listen to show because they can't settle on a narrative because they can't decide if they want to stake the claim that this U S soil since 9 11 by a bunch of planned, violent extremists have been violent the whole time, therefore be attack against every trump supporter because they want to associate everyone with some of the violence that happened on that day, right? That's so they don't they don't know if that's going to be the better narrative to indict half the United States population or is the better narrative because Donald Trump might run again? That it was definitely Donald Trump, who did it. It was a largely peaceful rally. Until that point, you get that. Do you understand that? Does that make sense? You got to get that before we move on because they don't understand. What they're basically doing is they're balancing two competing narratives, both of which, factually can't be correct. It was either a planned insurrection or Donald Trump instigated it. You can't have both of those stories don't make sense, right? Again. I know the coins begun in 11, even though you know, semi reasonable Democrats are like, Yeah, well, you know, he's kind of right. You can't have both of those things at the same time. The semi reason it's a very small portion. Maybe 001% But they're trying to determine which one of those narratives does the most political damage. Do we want to make sure Donald Trump's political career is over and that we destroy him and make him public enemy number one? Satan incarnate. He incited this. Write him. He didn't him alone so that he can't run again. Is that more important? Or is it important to destroy the reputations of anyone who voted for Donald Trump and associate them with some of the things that happened on January? 6th by saying No, No, this was planned. All these Maga people knew about it.

"Out to be look how incompetent it all turned out to be. Tommy do you think we overstated the case for the fact. That trump was a threat to democracy. Think we're overstating the case now. No no i think it's absolutely clear that he is willing to believe his own lies and he's willing to push people until they go along with them and that he had had the opportunity to stay in power and it sounds like for a while. He and rudy giuliani. Where the only ones who actually thought there was a chance. Mike pence might actually take steps to overturn the election That he would have been happy to remain so i. I think we came very close to him. Sticking around in the most Traditionally th oratory authoritarian manner possible and. It was a big deal. You know it's like it's like lord of the flies. The book starts you like these are little boys. They're gonna have some fun on this island and before you know it shit turns and it's like that's just human you know if you push any human hard enough long enough something happens shit turns and it gets real and so i'm just playing until it's not i mean this is not new to trump. This is just human nature and like trump is rare buddha politician who just doesn't stop button he doesn't have a frigging stop by at all and you can see these connections right. Like trump knows. The election wasn't so he basically talked about it. He gives interviews about the different demographics. He lost at this point and yet he's still says that there's this big lie and everybody plays along and then a bunch of people believe and they show up at the capitol or you have a clearly blatant effort to invent a boogeyman in critical race theory. But it bunch of people start showing up at school board meetings screaming because they believe it. 'cause they really believe that they have internalized it and so the creators of this propaganda may not be great. Organizers may not be successful at it they may not be competent but it's still reaching millions of people every single day and and and ripping at the fabric of our society. And this is the thing that like is always the elephant in all of these rooms. The connective tissue here is fox news. They carry the water. They carry the messaging even mentioned in critical race. Theory like the trajectory of where that story came from this conservative filmmaker. Christopher rufo appeared on fox news in early september of two thousand twenty. He said the words critical race theory. The white house was watching. They saw it. They liked it within a few days. They had rufo at the white house to help them craft donald trump's executive order banning crt and the federal government that happened by the end of september. There's a direct through line to all of these stories. And all of these conspiracies and it is fox news before we go. Obviously this is still playing out because trump held a rally this weekend his first since leaving office. What did he talked about. He talked about the big lie. Sam let me start with you. What were your. What were your thoughts in as this latest rally unfolded i would say to reporters covering it Just because everyone in those pins is full of great. Vox because they'll say crazy stuff for your article doesn't mean it's an actual trend. I think we confuse sometimes the ease at which we can get a story to the importance of the story itself. It's really easy to do a story at a trump rally. We know how to do it at this point. And there's a lot of folks that will give great tape great bites. It doesn't mean that it's the most important store in the country. And i don't think a trump rally right now as nearly as important as journalists. Thank goodness yeah. Yeah i i agree that i do think like sort of having watched the whole thing. I do think it's instructive where you can see what they wanna talk about right. So extensively twenty twenty two was the focus. He leads with crime. He leads with murder. You know defunding. Police borders are overrun cartels and drugs right critical race theory like those are their top core issues but when you get to the end after trump complained about the teleprompters Being messed up by the wind you get it to the parts that he really wants to talk about which is thirty. More minutes re regurgitating. All the election lies. I thought that was interesting and instructive. You're right it's not surprising. It's not new. It's sort of like the core of the gop message. Filtered through the broken brain of the president who would like to have won the election that he lost all right. Well let's leave it there and we come back. Republicans no longer love. We Have to Focus on the Local and Federal Elections at the Same Time

"Folks. I talked about parallel tests in the beginning of the show How we've got to get some truth about what happened about 2020. While also simultaneously fighting in 2022 2022 president, Trump said it himself he was on. How did he last night talking about the importance of 2022? Why do you think he's going out on the trail and fighting for Maga candidates of these races because he thinks it's a waste of time. Of course not. He doesn't waste this time. He's not stupid. First time the guy ran for office he ran for president. He won Must be doing something right? Developed a huge following nearly 90% loyalty in the Republican Party. But it's not just parallel tests there. It's parallel tasks on the on the election level two and on the subsidiarity level. In other words, what I'm getting at is we have to focus locally. Sadly, folks, one of the things that's always puzzled me. One of these anomalies of the election process is elections that matter. More people vote less and elections that matter. Less people vote more. It's bizarre, but but think about it. I'm not making this up. Your vote as a function of pure mathematics. Is more impactful and means more at the local level. You vote in your H O A. You vote in your local school board. You're one of 305 100. Maybe 5000 votes. So one of 5000 clearly is a greater number than one of 200 million or whoever people vote in the presidential election. 152 where many people show up, right? Simple math. Yet the bizarre thing is more people go and show up for these presidential elections, then show up for their local school board. It's one of these paradoxes. We have to change

Maga will work on that it sort of christopher lloyd from taxi a little bit. Yeah but i'm not gonna attempt that here but they immediately escaped to the sewer again. That's like go chant. Can't get those guys out of the they end up. I guess getting upon Now a mutant little person village. Oh brother also about the sewer thing. I guess you get production value. Because it does. They probably didn't have to do much you know. It's just the sewer. That's what we're supposed to be imagining here. I just can't imagine having like an expensive camera alike in a sewer where there is waterfalls and even if this is not an active you know maybe this is like a storm sewer rather than like a wastewater sewer which i assume or two different things even ask gross. Rioters Set Fire to Federal Courthouse in Portland

"There was an insurrection. Yesterday in portland antifa the pro fascist terror group antifa that stands for anti fascist folks. Come on now. what did i tell you. Every time the left they they're they're good at names. Divas a pro fascist. They only call themselves. Anti-fascists ca stupid people in the media. Believe they're dopey title so yeah. There was an actual insurrection. Last night in portland. You won't hear anything about it because there were no trump supporters involved in this. But here's a video and a place. There's not much sound to it. So i'll have to talk over a little bit but they literally tried to do. I hate that word. They tried to burn down the court house and portland last night. Check this out. This is just fascinating why it's not a front page story in the new york times washington poster at these other legacy media outlets. Why why are we not seeing the story. There's an actual fire here as you can see in the video a fire in the front of the portland. Courthouse that the antifa people were trying to set while there were people inside now joe last check. That's really not a good idea. That's very dangerous. And i highly recommend nobody ever do that now. Why that's not a story again is quite obvious because if there was one person a maga- hat it would be all over the front page of the news.

Joe Biden speaks to Saudi Arabia's King Salman

"The us president. Joe biden has spoken by phone with king salman of saudi arabia as the white house resets. The relationship between washington and riyadh ties between the two countries have become significantly closer during donald trump's time in office but this has been further complicated by matters following the murder of the journalist. Jamal khashoggi a us report due to be released shortly is expected to implicate the king's son crown prince mohammed bin salman offer more. I'm joined by bill. Law a middle east analyst and editor of arab digest and a regular voice on twenty. Good morning bill your morning. Let's examine straight away. What do we know that was in this. Coal between the us president the saudi king issues that perhaps saudi doesn't really want to talk about. What actually what's interesting about. The call is that the president touched on three issues. One was human rights. Any specifically single Jane elliott loon. The women's rights activist. Who has been released from prison but still has a severe restrictions on her The second is warned. Yemeni americans have made clear that they want this war to end and the third was security reassuring king solomon that america has saudi arabia's back. And of course that is important particularly given the situation with iran and mr biden's desire to return to the jcp away and interestingly as well his secretary of state tony blinken conversation with his counterpart flies. Open fought hand the saudi foreign secretary. He said pretty much the same thing. He didn't mention the. Jane elliott little but he talked about human rights. He talked about yemen and he talked about security. So the question is is these attempts to reassure as well as depress on the fronts. That biden wants action on or is this basically setting things up for this report that will be released and appears to be naming. The king's son magas oman instrumental in the killing of dramatic hollywood v. a everyone waits and most of all i think the saudis holding that brett i think that The in of the relationship between the united states in saudi arabia look. Saudi arabia is a key ally in the middle east for america. I don't know that biden wants to push very very hard in terms of doing down. How hotline as as some have suggested. I do think he wants to see some serious behavioral changes and he's using the issue of human rights as a way of achieving net.

Cancel Culture: Slaying the Fox Monster

"We're going to cancel anybody. We disagree with cancel. Culture now has permeated every single part of our society. Sadly i predict it's only gonna get worse. Silence more dangerous voices. You know sean hannity. Maybe you're onto something in advance of an impeachment trial of ex-president on the grounds of inciting insurrection. There is growing sentiment for the cable. Channel that most amplified donald trump's ravings to be held accountable as well in the past week. The new york times washington post mother jones variety and cnn. All entertained musings about fox. One way or another being shunned from polite society. Washington post media columnist. Margaret sullivan declared quote corporations. That advertise on fox. News should walk away and citizens who care about the truth should demand that they do. Such is the post insurrection. Comeuppance zeitgeist after the january sixth riots mainstream social media rid itself of donald trump and thousands of other conspiracy theorists twitter. Dropped more than seventy thousand accounts devoted cunanan single day likewise partner. The extremist heavy twitter clone lost. it's internet host. Republican members of congress suddenly lost sources of campaign funds and donald trump himself lost crucial business relationships. Cancel culture sean. Well yeah more or less and so in this hour. We address two questions first. What if fox news were to be neutralized or at least radically ostracized and secondly in a democratic society in which free speech is foundational. Is that an outcome. We really want. Both questions are premised on the belief that whatever fox has been since one thousand nine hundred ninety six launch a megaphone for wedge issues fearmongering lies conspiracy theories culture. Wars has poisoned with sleep. Mutated it's no longer just an argument with the left. It's explicitly a safe space for insurrectionists and all those who imagine themselves under the heel of tyranny tens of millions of americans have no chance there are about to be crushed by the ascendant left. These people needed defender. You need a defender. Why is no one defending them. That was tucker carlson. One day after the storming of the capital which according to angelo kerosone president and ceo of the left leading advocacy group media matters for america exemplifies the channels dark and treacherous turn. They know that a part of their audience especially tucker's with this idea genocide that white culture is in some way being replaced in decayed and they are trying to appeal to that and they're warning them. They're coming for them. It's a political plain and simple. It's now standard operating procedure in the democratic party. Are you or have you ever been a supporter of donald trump on put a scarlet letter tv on supporters. This is a slippery slope. Are people going to say. We're not going to sell you a car. A republicans. we're not gonna. We're not going to issue you a mortgage conservatives. I mean how far does this go. And you listen as the geniuses explain how the single biggest threat to country isn't chinese. Hegemony or even the coming hyperinflation. Pretty much uncertainty now. Which was one hundred percent caused by elite mismanagement of our economy. But no let's not talk about that. The real threat is a forbidden idea. It's something called that's carlson. Dismissing worries about cunanan a cult dedicated to dismantling government filled with pedophile cannibals. Which is something of a departure from historical conservative values of states rights fiscal responsibility a strong military and self reliance because you know cannibals. The last year in particular is when it certainly seemed as though the cauldron of him and lies. That fox news had been boiling boiled. Over and i think it affected. Everybody's lives i with kobe and all the misinformation and how they influenced the public health response and then in the aftermath of the election. An how they kind of built the framework that really helped undermine the results in the minds a so many of our fellow citizens and after the rage it had helped fuel finally materialized into violence. Did fox hole back humbled in jason over. Its own dark power. No just last week. Here was fox news founder. rupert murdoch. Australia denouncing not insurrection but cancel culture is rigidly enforced. Conformity didn't better. I circled central me. A straightjacket on sensitive -tuni- people have fought too hard in too many places for freedom of speech. To be suppressed for this awful woke orthodoxy murdoch's denunciation of political correctness was widely interpreted as a vow not to cave either to the bleeding hearts or to the even fringe ear conservative channels like newsmax and one american news where many maga- fateful fled on election night. When fox was the first call arizona for joe biden in the aftermath the perennial ratings leader skidded at least temporarily to third place in cable news and for now. Murdoch is steering into the skid. Npr's david folkenflik reports by taking even more news fox news one of their top news. Anchors martha mccallum. She was shifted from seven pm prime evening slot to three pm in the afternoon. And that is a major opinion our and let's be clear conservative opinion. Our among those auditioning is maria bartiromo an anchor. Who has made a lot of unfounded. Unhinged claims here's one from let's just for the sake of argument except that fox news channel has not only crossed a line but defiantly stayed there and thus the chorus of calls for boycotts by its advertisers and of its advertisers in order to starve the beast in the interest of full disclosure in other spaces. I myself have called for that very thing. This happens to be the work. Kerosone media matters has been undertaking. Four years with mixed success. One of the big efforts was a campaign to get either glenn beck to be less destructive or ultimately fired and that's exactly what happens on the other hand or recently advertisers have sled tucker and laura ingram they have lost about half of their paid commercials they used to have more than thirty commercials show now the average between fourteen and sixteen and even though they've lost money obviously they're still on the network and they

SPACE FARCE

"Days ago. We observed the thirty fifth anniversary of the space shuttle. Challenger's bush in the killed seven brave astronauts and a chance to actually get into that. I just thought it kind of bring the room down and it would it. Would basically a habit gets reflect back on the failure that the shuttle program eventually became. I'm man i'm and it's arguable. That the shuttle missions were a failure but it just Conversations before with people who said it's the equivalent of taking a bus out of the garage. Hang around the earth a couple times. That's all it was but you know it was interesting. At least the space program had something going on at the time. And i thought it would. I even met a shuttle astronaut Good guy Just that by the time We had a conversation on a cable channel about moon landing in. I didn't like each other afterwards. And i i didn't. I didn't wanna cause trouble with him. In fact he was just an amazing astronaut. Let's astronaut my god guys space. You know pro. You know again. I look at astronauts. It's like i. I'd look at a veteran. Or i look at a soldier who fights. I mean they got more than i do. I sit studio. And gripe all the time but i just you know. I was amazed by The he was not my first astronaut. I've met a few Never met buzz aldrin or ordeal armstrong. Or anybody like that. A few shuttle astronauts. I've i've met a former nasa. Well no i interviewed chuck cernan but i was never. I interviewed him over the phone. So i i don't know i just have an affinity for space i i i love it because of course i love the topic of aliens. Ufo's avi lopburi more. We come on. Space travels amazing. I mean we'd star trek star wars. These are things. I really like And you know noticing too. I grew up in utah. Where more than fire call was twenty miles away thirty miles away from where i lived and this is where the rings were made for the space shuttle program of course the failed challenger explosion was because of the ordering problems were more than thiokol and only two failures in the whole space shuttle program where people were killed. Astronauts were killed. No real new information though. That was out there and You know and we kept being promised this was just you know the shuttle program was going to be used to not only take the bus out for a dry but it was also going to be used to go to the space station and bring astronauts food and stuff and now well for the longest time we were contracting russia. We're having a deal with russia to send astronauts to the space shuttle to the space station to well actually said food to the space as well and i thought why are we relying on russia in and this whole nonsense about how russia was our enemy and everything. They're our enemy. Why are they helping us with our space program. Just didn't make any sense. But yeah i mean looking back at our field. Space programs is important. Indicate that president. Barack obama crippled dass his efforts to send astronauts beyond low earth orbit. When obama came into office. he didn't want a number of other. Presidents have done to determine their goals for nasa. He formed a presidential commission to study the space agency and then he came up with some recommendations so he you a committee the committee. You basically. you're saying well. I think there are far more important things. We need to invest our money. And so i'm gonna cut your budget. You know basically what area. We're gonna bring you altogether. Cut your budget. So you're going to have to deal with you know whatever that's all it's been cutting budget and budget cutting and and And so that's why you have now space x that's why you have You know these other companies visas and others who want to do space because you know space has been neglected. The budgets have been neglected in our government for some time but we had a lot of conservative presidents like george w bush and of course donald trump. Who said yeah. We're all the speech program. Let's get it going. And the reason why is because there's brooke obama once said and this is one of the reasons why he basically said no to you know exorbitant budgets for space. He says well. You know spaces. In america. First issue. And we should be more universal. We she wore. We wore worldly with our concepts in our conquest of space. We need to do you know we didn't do it all together as a world. It's a it's a world bring people together in a world government or world philosophy. I think reagan kinda hinted to what he said. You know our differences worldwide would vanish. We were facing an alien threat from outside of this world but that was an alien threat. That was the idea that if there were aliens out there wanting to eat us then we would certainly band together as a group. I mean that's what independence day was all about right. See the independence day. Movie or armageddon were nasa saves the day. You know it's time and time again. We get told it. Our space program is amazing. Well yeah they do amazing things. But it's not as amazing as it used to be. I mean lockheed. Martin ceo norm augustine Headed up the augustine commission during the obama administration actually was named after maga sanofi headed up with the. It's called the augustine commission and basically they returned with a set of recommendations after few wants convening during the obama administration so the commission found the program then in existence project constellation was not execute under any reasonable

"I just think that with all that messaging and hammering the socialism and the socialism that forty eight to forty nine percent of people are okay with that maybe more fifty percent more majority of people in georgia could be okay with socialism. And that's a very scary thought. And and i don't know if that the case in michigan if we're getting closer to that we're not but it sure feels like at times but this runoff is a clear indication of where we are right now and it is that social has socialism is at our doorstep and we have to be very careful. Because if it's not this election cycle it could very well be the next one. I know that the next election cycle. There's a good chance we could take back the house and kind of stem the tide but We gotta get there first and that. Is this georgia runoff tomorrow. So it'll be very interesting. I know they said like three million absentee ballots. Another major issue that needs to get dealt with when this is all over but You know it's it's going to be very interesting. And i'm sure they're going to be counting well into the week. I wouldn't be surprised if this is another one of those. Wait until the end of the week to see what happens but Either way the results of this are going to be monumental and then the next day right after january. Six the electoral college meets. And that's when we find out what's going to happen. We're we're gonna know everything's going to kind of come to a head we're gonna find out vice. President pence is a trump guy or not trump guy. We're gonna find out who in the congress is with us and who was against us and a lot of questions that all of us a are maga conservatives. All the questions. We have are going to get answered on wednesday. We're gonna find out who's on our side and who's that we'll see if we get lucky. It's gonna be a long shot but i'll tell you the fact that this started with a couple of house people and has evolved into being what they're saying as many as one hundred and forty that tells you that something's going on that momentum is headed in the right direction. It's just too little too late as the question and we'll find out wednesday so between tuesday and wednesday. The direction of this country is going to get defined in ways that we may or may not like but at this point especially in michigan. We don't have a lot of choice. We have to sit back and watch and hope that in the end The maga conservative principles went out and Leffler and purdue are able to get those seats and were able to hold the senate and stave off the socialism and then pick up and get ready for twenty twenty two because it will come fast and there is zero time to rest when this is over. We've got to get at this and get ready because the socialists are at our doorstep. And if we don't fight now we may not have a country to fight four in two the these socialists. They do not need two years to implement their agenda. They've been working on it. Everything is in place all they need is the senate and as chuck schumer said. They take georgia..

"Mask wearing and stuff it's that would be the better solution than than this unemployment extension Obviously the republicans look at it as as being necessary because of the situation that we're in. But i think that it would be nice if they would push a little harder at just trying to get the economy fully open again. Because that ultimately is what's going to get things flourishing again and it's going to get the jobs back and it's going to keep the unemployment numbers from skyrocketing out of control but i'm not sure that that's really. What whitmer watson. The end socialist. Watts these things. They want people dependent on the government so she is definitely shown that she is a full on socialist and she believes in the socialist philosophy of taxing the rich and giving to the poor and that is what she's trying to implement here But at this point it doesn't appear that there's anything that the legislature can do about it because again they don't have the votes to override edo so at this point As far as i can tell that is still in limbo and it's twenty weeks for the unemployment for anybody going on after the The beginning of the year so hopefully that is nobody that is listening but if it is just be aware because that is something you'll have to Be cognizant of moving forward but now as depressing as that thought is. There was some good news that happened in michigan this week. Super rhino lee chatfield was finished as speaker of the house. In the state of michigan due to term limits. He is no longer able to represent any part of michigan as a representative And he didn't run for anything else so he is currently unemployed. I'm not sure if he's only twenty six benefits but not that he would need them but he is out and this is definitely a win for the republican party and for maga patriots everywhere That guy is a rhino through and through him and Senate leader mike. Shirke are the ultimate rhinos. And i think that in order for us to move forward as a unified party we need to get people like them out positions of leadership So this was great to see. Jason wentworth is taking his place speaker. The house. I can't say i know much about him He did have some harsh words for governor whitmer Here just the other day regarding some of her restrictions on the businesses so that was.

I'm pretty simple guy as long as i. I wasn't went and people who would nervous to begin wit 'cause like going to the store by renaissance. They did easy. I hated it because it made no sense. What if the store should bail stores can't close like they like consensual close away. I knew that already. But i guess other people didn't know maybe it's a florida. Thank like i lived through hurricane on us once. Hurricane hit and you can't really do nothing so like to me elderly all right. Just give them candles and water but he was no. We'd that i'm like able to we auto toilet paper how much you ask you need all this all the papers you can see women just publish a story. Gosh she already had like to house. We already had a good relationship clauses. My roommate more papers. Nick we have a two month supply closet already. How much as you got. I don't know about you. Booty eating it. What are you doing mike you you can experience a little bit of cabin fever or something like that right the first time a little bit. I don't hang up. I mean i'm just i'm just having withdrawal because i was always going to fucking shows i would go to at least three or four a month Sometimes way more than that. But it's just been weird not being able to do that and plus a lot of my friends are social in the way of you know. Oh let's meet up have a drink. Yeah psych don't really wanna do that because there's people there nobody keeps their personal space in those types of it's so upsetting in the where i live there being better about it At least the outside spots are there's only two bars that i've gone to in my in my area and they both have the tables spaced out. If you're walking around you're required to have a mask on and it's not like it's not like walmart require worthy required and they don't do anything like if you're walking around no mass aid would put your mask on and if you say no okay cool by you. Have to leave But i'm not. I'm not i'm sweating it really. I didn't want it. The last time i was like you guys are being stupid. I you like you like oh man. I'm getting tired of being in the house. All the hoarding stuff. I'm not worried about anything happening. First of all you meteors. Y'all shitting ran out. Our stuff was fine. Because y'all were the ones they're gonna make good do chicken line chicken. I got is being. But i'd have to worry about. I think like stuff was in stop. The only time i started getting annoyed was when i got down to like the last three or four toilet paper and i was like all right. Well let me go to the store just like no this all gone and i'm just like the thing that kills me nigga fuck told people that paper was the biggest thing to me. That was really toilet. Paper was really broke me bras. There is more toilets autism. I don't ever hurt me. The most is my sister called me because she was confused. She's like why paper do you know. I don't know i'm confused too. Just the power of influence. It's like one person says close jay here but the thing is they weren't buying paper towel then were just fine. Only wipe shit up regulars though. That's that's the point we're talking. Ammonia doll were running out and buying toilet paper. Were not a single official told you fools that toilet. Paper was scarce. The only reason. The company's got backed up is because you're buying all the toilet paper no reason they didn't own that thing is your lesson. You're still going to go run out and buy toilet paper shortage like fighting. The fuck is no. It was like our. There's no style paper. Whatever they stars go look see. This is how misinformation spreads. Nobody bothers to look anything up. They're just like ice on twitter. That president trump was going to hide all the toilet paper going by as much as you can for. I heard okay next thing. we know. There's no fucking toilet paper anywhere. And i'm sitting and people are fist fighting in the stores over toilet paper refilling crazy man to ground beef. Had like i remember this. Them and the individual roles isn't artifacts on individuals. Get so embarrassed sometimes. I have a lot of friends overseas. And i get so embarrassed talking to them. Sometimes they're just like what the fuck is wrong with america and i'm like bro. I have no fucking. Where are you guys buying all this. I don't know don't get it. Galler buying toilet paper but not buying paper. Towels are soap. The government is telling.

"It's kind of like when you cook a piece of salmon and it's not like i don't know how to describe it but obviously there's a level of salmon that you can cook too but when you when you start cooking a piece of salmon it'll have like little white not like it's like a white not kurd basically like white around it and i looked it up because i was confused at what it was. They were like no. That's not dangerous to eat. It's just. I forgot what they said. It was but it's just something where i don't trust them and they why scientists know what it is like. Why would i want to die. Because i didn't google in front of what i'm saying. General us. I'm not specifically talking about you but i'm saying why would i wanna pull up a plate with this thing on it and there's like. Oh these white speckles. What does that automatically know what it is. Easy not taste the white stuff using out of your salmon as it cooks loses boro coagulated protein. And it's perfectly safe to eat. It's salmon cooks its muscle fibers. Con contrasts causing it to ring up. The fishes internal protein fluids. Right quick took. The flu is though. I'll start shit like this is exactly why i don't eat that stuff because that just sounds disgusting and it's not like my diet healthy diet cool package. Meat usually has a red liquid at the bottom. Believe it or not. it's not blood. it's actually a protein called my globe and that gives the meet its juices and red hue and it's totally normal. They said that they said that. No no because they said. I i remember when i first looked this up. I was curious but then it did make sense because they were like. If that's the case chicken would also have that if it was really blood. Chicken win also have chickens. Doesn't know chickens a different talking about beef but they still have different animals so but they bleed more. No i mean everybody. Dallas is so big and a lot of blue small. They have no blood. I don't know but they they may not believe the same way like you stick. A fish is not going to squirt blood out. You stick us. We scored blood out. Like i always assumed that certain chunks of meat had different types of blood of different levels of blood because different animals. Bleed differently a little small veins or in really small chicken. Yeah no we have a lot of room mostly muscle. You know just like a muscle like a big muscular man. He not gonna bleed the same way you stick a fat man fatman go bleed like a mother offer like fucking water that makes sense though to the next. This these stigma funds will be mad. Like why do i not bleed. The you be back very very blood pressure. You'll bleed a completely different xactly. You've got more like the skin just pressurized because there's more sitting there you know flow of blood. What's swimming normal. Yossi can out of this school to the cholesterol year. Every time i guess do obstacle courses zelda inside your body watching the show dislike that does is. There's an animated called cells at work in. He's a. She's a red blood cells deliver nutrients. I want her best friend of the white blood. So every episode find different viruses attacked the body ashley. I learned so much about human body from this cartoon. This amazing you say we should probably because we stupid. Exact scenario find off infections. Getting run the buddy. They will hear very interesting. So what else. The other thing was So it looks like there's a big chance we may have back into mandatory quarantine home. Are you guys looking forward to that. Yes a how like this time. It won't just hit you all of a sudden right. It's like oh it's coming. You know what i'm saying like we we have some. We can be more prepared this time right so like. How do you guys feel about that. I just wanted to kind of get go around and see how everybody feels about kind of not being back open house again. I think it'll be fine as far as like the. I mean most people are still if your moved to working from home. You're still work from home so far as movement. I know i won't have to move But i mean. I don't think my life is going to change much because i've been the same fucking thing like i don't know i mean the whole thing is kind of nuts. Like i've seen videos from people in el paso right now and they said that like there was this one video of this nurse. Who said you know. I've seen almost everyone on the shift. That i've worked in the last couple of days. Pass away they're basically getting back to that point of picking and choosing who gets to be on ventilators and stuff now and honestly as far as being prepared. I think the opportunity to be prepared as there but i mean i don't really see a. We've been through this just a couple of months ago. So i don't really see a need to like hoard stuff you know like i guess that's my whole thing like i.

How about you read a book. I haven't sit down and read a book. Always do for a minute there. Yeah which Bill O'Reilly book was it. I was on the one hand. Oh yeah actually. It's race till Matthaeus book okay. So is Rachel. Maddow's book like her show where she teas you. Something Big's going to happen all the way through and at the end nothing really happens. No she gives so between her book. In the shock doctrine you can pretty much look at the world and be like. Oh this is what's going on large portion of it. Oh we went to a trump rally gut reaction to Rachel. Maddow thirty bic. Oh Yeah it was. It was not kind. Somebody compared her sit. It was on twitter today. I can't remember what it was but it was like a really bad comparison so my wife wait what what are they. Compared her and Steve Bannon does what it was. God you got you got the fuck out here all right. And now it's time for the airing of the king grievances hell's that. Apparently the the grievances have gotten squeaking going on with that. Anyway Jason. Let's start with you what's What's tune of your cross? So I was searching for all these reaction videos. Eminem stuff right One of the first guys to get on there and do it It's why every guy that I was like man just got woken up about this and it's just came out with was going to happen man. This is not as Kinda crazy. Second time he's done this. I just dropped it on us without anybody knowing what's going on This one guy as crypt anew. To was like rapper. Rapper reacts to new eminem album and one of the things he does very beginning. He's like well he doesn't Godzilla. Which is the track on the album that I think everybody's kind of like do this. This is the trag this is this is. This is what it's all about for EMINEM and it's nuts and then juice world does the does the hook on it and has a as a as a flow on it and it's really amazing sounds great Like I don't know why I don't know why like white collar track monster. Because they say like juice what has monster in his in his book they keep saying but the song like opens up. I can the third or fourth line where he says Godzilla and then like Rhymes with card dealer like like him like car dealers. Like anyhow says Godzilla Rides. Pumpkin beginning like and not only that like rap. God was like the last song that he did. There was like crazy like in like so. God God I mean you know what I mean. There's like get the fuck Outta here. I know it's late but man that pissed me off so much because like guys like sitting there. Like getting Ole Dude. We just fucking listen to song the very beginning of the song he says. Godzilla like the second thing. He says About like if you drink some alcohol. It's an into Godzilla. And they'll hit them like it card dylan like he says exactly so. Yeah so that's what we actually thought like talking shit in my own head to these guys like man fuck and also thinking man. I need to be fucking doing this and making some money. These guys had like the sky dropped it and within like the next day looking at even more because at home with the kids and like some as you had like fifty thousand hits within like twelve hours. Fifty thousand six thousand reacting to you know I mean they have a brand that they'd set up and stuff like that but I just like man. I need to get into this racket. Dune I wish I had a place that I could go and do all that right. That'd be Great Kareem Bernie Bros. And stop with the nonsense dot with the bullshit. You're GONNA fuck around and get trump elected your reaction to everything that anybody says about Bernie is the thing that are turning. Everybody else off about burning. We are in a situation where we need one candidate that everybody can rally behind. Because we don't need this dumb fuck in office for four more years you are going to be the fucking reason that he's there because of the nonsense that you keep saying about anybody that disagrees with anything that Bernie says stop stop. You didn't learn from the last fucking time you so you're going to end up doing this. Shit again Bernie is not a fucking Democrat if you believe so much in him take your money and put it behind him and run him as a fucking independent otherwise deal with the bill with the people who are actually Democrats all the time not just when it's convenient for them and their reaction to somebody who is not one of them so Birdie Bros. stopped with the bullshit. That increase includes the media people that are burning people to start with the bullshit. We do not need whoever the the nominee might be if it's not burn to be torn down by you guys to the point where they won't be electable m the actual general election stop. I'm right along the same lines. My issue is people not voting. Now Look if you think that Donald Trump has done a great job and you like Donald Trump. I know there are people out there that that think that then go ahead and vote for Donald Trump. If that's what you legitimately day if you think. Donald trump is an abomination not fit to be president has done a shit job has run. The country into the ground has made us the laughing. Stock of the world has spit in the face of our allies and made the world less safe place. And you don't go vote or whomever is the Democratic nominee. Whether you think they're great or not you are part of the reason why he got reelected all the people who didn't go vote for Hillary. Because I don't really like Hillary well. I didn't like Hillary that much either. But she'd be a damn sight better than what we have now. So that is my whole point and especially if you happen to live in one of those I can hate these state. These swing states Florida Pennsylvania. Ohio Michigan Wisconsin. By the way. If you fuck this up for the rest of us again I swear to God I know. We came up with that electoral college for a reason. Maybe it's time to get rid of it. Because when three million more people vote for one person than another but you lose these fucking swing states and by the way. It's happened twice. And it's been a Republican both times that ends up getting reaping the rewards of getting fewer votes. It's all about slavery and if you stay home and don't vote because you don't happen to like the Democratic candidate and by the way if you go and vote for the Green Party candidate go fuck off. Just just what are you even doing? What are you even doing.

"How many signatures do you have to get to have a new. The goal is obviously to get the president on the ballot right. I mean and this is for the primary or general both so the state of vermont requires requires a thousand signatures in order to get the president on the ballot. There's only a few states that require this and vermont is one of those so we're doing a terrific job getting those signatures across the state and <hes> we'll definitely have already. How many do you have so far. You know we have over or a thousand already so i think we've met our goal. <hes> they have to be checked to make sure that they truly are vermont. Reg registered voters and we have a lot of supporters signing petitions at affairs that are actually from new york and massachusetts so we have to discount though yeah yeah yeah okay and i mean that's funny thing. If i'm walking a lot in the <hes> the fairway of the what's the what's the word i'm looking for the main the main avenue of county fair vermont remind and somebody says do you want to sign a petition to get somebody on the vermont ballot. Is it explained to them that you gotta live. If you're <hes> it is actually what happens is <hes> at the different fairs like we've had addison county fair so far orleans is going on right now. Followed by hi <hes> caledonia and shouldn't county are champlain valley fairs we have boost that are set up specifically dedicated to promote the reelection of president president trump so these people from vermont and outta state just come right over to our boost in our very excited and want to sign so <hes> e n together gather if a person is when we say new york state or something they're they're from plattsburgh and they're over you know go to the addison county fair and feel days that <hes> a- and you were the one to break to them of sorry. You can't sign a petition. Who's your liver mont perfectly finding. They understand okay but you bring up a great point. The edison and <hes> was a very successful program it just as indicative of what's happening people are really motivated and they are seeing the positives from this president and signing on i mean they had they had quite a large number of signatures in the area that you might not expect over seven hundred at madison county fair alone and so what is the deadline for gathering the signatures deadline isn't until december sixteenth longtime imbo we just wanna get it over with our signature to the secretary of state and move on with the campaign and you always want to know in elections in general when you collect <unk> out there collecting nominating petitions you do want to collect well more than that target because you there there are gonna be somewhere the depending on what the what the election is heated person's not from the from the right district where the person is not from the sign the petition signer meetings and not from the right district you know as you're pointing out some folks are not even from vermont vermont when he come walking up and say hey i want to. I like this guy and so there you go. That's the <hes> <hes> now last night. I posted a note to facebook and i said <hes> i i. I said i'm going to have a couple of supporters of the president on this morning and <hes> organizing this vermont maga effort and the <hes> an and i said what what what are folks out there think you know among my facebook friends i guess or put out in the general public but what and <hes> what should i ask them and boy. I got some suggestions here. I don't know if i'm going to use all of them. Some of the mike kind of can't on the on family radio but <hes> the <hes> let's see we have a <hes> and and there are some couple that are mildly supportive but a lot of them are not real friendly here again. I'm let me see if i can with a couple of that <hes> well here. Here's this if the trump agenda is the trump agenda comparable with our state motto of freedom and unity house..
