"You're you're stupid because you think you're smarter than all the doctors all of the health experts and and this and this and this and they're they'll they'll make me about you where it's like. Well i i. I'm smarter than all the doctors. Because i read on facebook that this is stupid. And it's like okay but you're not. You're not even doing that like you're not even reading. You're you're just you're just believing whatever they tell you and so i'm not even against vaccines at all really but it just seems to me that there's like a disconnect between the critical thinking part of their brain and the tribalism that makes them say these things does that make sense. Oh yeah yeah totally. I mean just like just for me. It's it's not about. It's not about like. I would bet money that is going to be no problems. And it's it's great and it's actually a better for the world. I bet money on that. But i'm not certain about it. So why the like. I take my chances with the virus. The virus doesn't seem that bad to me. I mean i was ninety nine years old and obese. I'd be singing away different tune. But i mean you you have to pick like the the best of a bad situation right like you got to pick the best option available to you. So i mean if you're there was just some like girl in australia. She's a young girl. Her sister was arrested for wearing a mask. Not wearing a mask in the supermarket or something. And it's funny. It's on it's on instagram. Or something all. The cops are not wearing masks. There's a whole bunch of people walking into the supermarket without mass and they're just arresting this poor girl and you know what it doesn't make any sense what's happening. No one's thinking no one's fucking using the brains at all. It's just like tribal is concerned. Just listened to brett weinstein or jfk therapy when he talks on or any of these scientists that we've showcased inadvertently sometimes on the show What they're saying. Make sense as far as i know and you're not allowed to. You're not allowed to see people. Interact like i can't. I can't see what the mainstream reaction is to that. Because we're not allowed to talk about it. It's just nuts. Yeah and it seems like such a strange thing to politicize right. So you've got all these mainstream politicians who who like we cannot deny that there's a corporate interest in pharmaceuticals. We can't die is the fact there is a cart. There's a corporate interests and pharmaceuticals and the companies that have made the vaccines have doubled. Tripled dir mark share whatever it is able grow running like mad with with money just like money is showering on them every day. They're making money hand over fist and You know you just just. Let's just look at the companies that get approved for canada. And it's you know. Johnson and johnson got squeezed out but Madonna astrazeneca and pfizer or the big ones. That are there and then.

Covid-19 Vaccines Are in Demand, but Thousands More Workers Are Needed to Make Them

"This morning. Interesting covert 19 vaccines in high demand as we know. They need thousands of more workers just to make them Fizer, Madonna, AstraZeneca. They are racing to hire staff members. So if you're looking for work, you might want to check out Fizer, Madonna, AstraZeneca and inquire about Where do you go to help them make more vaccines and you may need a chemistry background. You may or you may not. I mean it's worth looking into because they say that they are an unprecedented territory. They're trying to crank this out is Masters. They can't and they just They can't keep up so anyway, that I mean, it's an opportunity. It's an option for you in the Wall Street Journal this morning, interesting article. All right, coming up.

"New York looking at some totals across the state upwards of feet, So we heard in a little better shape than the system Overall. All right, Caroline. Thank you. 33 right down. It is the mark Blazer show with Josh sees, so we know that you know Fizer is underway here in the states, and it looks like Madonna on the verge of approval. More on this. Let's bring in from ABC News, Mark Raymond, Lard and Mark Welcome in and I would imagine right on the timing and we just had our meteorologist on with us. We're not in where it's going to get pummeled up in the New York and Pennsylvania area that would probably put a hamper on some of this, I would imagine is well with regards to the delivery and such. But what is the latest on this mark? Yeah, That's a good point that we'll see Obviously how this the nor'easter that's gonna come through for certainly, And where I am in the New York area and the you know the mid Atlantic up to New England. Whether or not that's gonna affect the transportation there. That's a really good point. But basically what we're waiting for. Now is we are waiting for Thursday to see how this plays out for Madonna. We're gonna see a very similar hearing to what we saw last week with Visor where These, this independent advisory board to the FDA is going to meet. They're going to discuss all the data surrounding these vaccines from their clinical trials from Safety data, the efficacy data they're going to take public comments they're going to each member will have a chance to speak. Then they're even gonna question members of the companies. You know, we saw them question members of visor in the other hearing, we saw them question members of the F D A s So expect to see that again with now, this time with Madonna and so, But the good news is is that everything appears on track in a similar way that visor was Vaccine seems to be 94.5% effective in preventing covert 19, and there are no significant safety concerns reported. So at this point, it seems likely that this is on the same track as Fizer, which at the end of the day, this independent board voted That the benefits outweigh the risks. So here in Ohio, I could say it was actually listed out earlier today on the news they were saying, You know 133,000 by this, that, that that that that this amount of this amount of this amount it looks like by the week they were saying by the week of the of New Year's Here in Ohio. We're going to be closer to 600,000 doses between Fizer and Madonna. And the When I hear that I say to myself, Wow, they're talking about 100. Million people need to be vaccinated before we get to this herd immunity that they're talking about that possibly could put an end to You know everything going on all of the health protocols that are in place right now for us, But I guess the biggest thing like, for instance, like New York and, um you know the areas like where you're at. Moderna with this? I mean, are they going to be with a beam or or less than fighter? I mean, are they given a number with regard to what they're bringing to the party here? So Madonna. We should expect somewhere around 20 million doses by the end of the month is my understanding and the initial push from Madonna will be about six million doses. So my understanding is that if that is all six, so we had a 6.4 million doses of the visor vaccine. Ready to go. 500,000 of those were held back as a reserve. Then you took what's left. You know what is that 5.9 million doses or so roughly, and you split that up and sent that out because you held back. The second dose, right? Because you've got to get two doses and they don't want to send out all the doses without knowing that they have a secure, you know, dose for the people to take that second dose. So about 2.9 Million doses are going out this week from Fizer. My understanding is six million for Madonna right off the bat, and then we have On estimated 20 million in total in the month of December, So we're rapidly going to double or more than double the amount of doses that we have on, you know, out there right now. And so that's AH, positive step forward in terms of The scarcity issue, but it will still be a long time before average. Americans were getting this because it's going to take time for both of these companies to ramp up production. And then hopefully we get AstraZeneca and Johnson and Johnson to join the fray. Perhaps in the early New Year, and Johnson and Johnson in particular. That's a single dose shot, so you can really ramp up the scale of how many people you get vaccinated with that vaccine. Hopefully, it's effective and safe. Obviously, once the testing bears that out But so that could really help speed up the timeline here. But this is why the estimation is if you're under 65, If you're someone who doesn't have a serious health condition that would put you at risk of a serious complication from covert 19. If you're not someone who's you know, healthcare Frontline worker that kind of thing. That's why you might not be getting this until the spring. Okay. Very good. Mark River Lard ABC News. Thanks for the very latest, a safe, We appreciate it. And you know he brings up AstraZeneca, Johnson and Johnson, Johnson and Johnson. What I think is interesting. Is they're the only ones out of the four that we've mentioned Fizer, Madonna, AstraZeneca and Johnson and Johnson have the single dose vaccine. Is it less effective? That's the one question And the other question is, what do they know that the other three don't know?.

"The story that we've seen came out of the Washington Post that the White House chief of staff, Mark Meadows. Telling Stephen Hahn, the commissioner of the FDA to submit his recognition, But Han saying, no, that's not likely right or not happening. That's what that's what Han is responding. And look, I think it raises if this story indeed turns out to be true, I mean, it's a Washington Post story. It doesn't help confidence in the vaccine. Now, the time when Americans are concerned that it's been rushed through exactly and let's get into that with our next guest doctor in La Spader with us as he is always every Friday, his clinical associate professor of medicine at N. Y U. Lango Medical Center on the phone in New York on a day when global cases exceed 69.7 million deaths, surpassing 1.59 million Doctor. Less better. Nice to have you back with Tim and myself. How are you? Okay doing doing Well, Thank you. Caroline. Tim. Happy Friday? Yeah. You sound a little tired. Well, it's been a long week. It's been a busy week, and but I think we have good news coming. I think we're within the next few days. I think we are going to get FDA approval. The vaccine advisory committee 17 to 4 voted, you know to prove this authorization. And I think literally within the next few days will get the full FDA committee to approve it by the hair and I want to get to that. But I do want to get to that headline that looks like the Washington Post was was are they were reporting. That the White House was threatening the FDA chief to basically like a proven or oh, yeah, wait a minute. So what does that do? And Tim brought up a really good point. What does that do to confidence in the process, especially for the American public when there are still many out there safe to say that are a little nervous about taking the vaccine. There are and and even some positions I know are a little hesitant. You know, I don't think politically or scientifically. That was good. I mean, you have to let the FDA a evaluated, which they did. That seem data is very good in terms of efficacy. And hopefully lives to be saved. And side effects are Arlo, not zero, so Jimmy. It's certainly unnecessary to, you know, to threaten or cajole the FDA and, you know, we really should sort of stay out of that scientific realm. So I think that was An error in judgment, and I think unnecessary because the FDA is going going to do no matter what the right thing. I don't think they're really subject to political pressure anyway, because these air committees and they're composed of infectious disease specialists and Edge of departments and people who know what they're doing, Lady. What would bring Doctor what would you say to someone who is seeing the news from the UK this week and understanding that people in the UK are already getting shots of Fizer by on tech vaccine, American company advisor at least And not getting shots here in the U. S. I mean, what? What light can you shed on the FDA approval process as to why it is taking a few more days to get it approved here. Well, it is really just a difference of a few days. And I think this is not like the space race where you have to be the first one on the moon. You know, I think we've had an amazing under a year to get a vaccine is really unheard of, I think works speeded, did an amazing job. You know when I think the FDA or at least the way we work here is that it goes through several committees, and it was eight hours plus of discussion on the vaccine. Advisory Committee. They have lots of different opinions. You can listen to it. If you want on YouTube. I think it's a long along Syria's and they really wait out the pros and concepts. Just how we do it here. And I think people should feel confident about that. Because really experts, leading experts reviewed the data. They went over it. This was not a rush judgment in any way. I'm not saying the UK was a rush judgment. Maybe they're committee's work faster. Maybe they started a few days earlier, but I think we're going to start giving out the first factions. My bet It's later next week. Wow, that's what you anticipate coming to. And why you land. Go that you guys start to get it. Do you know? I think the FDA sometime in the next 23 days, four days will formally approve it. I think they stunned all the data and I think it will be ready to ship by midweek. If all goes well, and I think the first vaccines probably will be later next week or early the week after my my guess I have no inside information. But that's my guess is to the time line. Do you think the rollout from the recommendations from the CDC about making sure frontline workers, health care workers and those who are most at risk? This is the right way to distribute the vaccine. Do you know? Unfortunately, we literally see multiple covert patients every day. Fortunately, the volume in the hospital least in our area is picking up but not massively. Bond. I think the frontline health care workers of the most at risk elderly at the most of risk. And then the rest of the population on. I think once some people see that we took it and that we're doing fine, they'll be more encouraged to take it as well. That's a really good point. Yeah, when they see the doctor's taking it totally right. And what I do wonder, too, is Sanofi and GlaxoSmithKline. Um, they delayed some advanced trials of their experiment. It'll cover 19 shot. I guess it And produce the strong enough response and some older people so that their drugs are being pushed out. Maybe in terms of availability to the end of next year. I mean, and this is what we're going to see. But that does complicate. Potentially getting vaccines to the entire world. Correct. We need all of these companies to have success. We do. Manufacturing vaccines is not easy. There are a lot of limiting steps, and I think we need multiple that Sean's again. The data that I've seen preliminarily, at least with Visor Madonna AstraZeneca is that you know, again playing with a dose a little bit, You know that we're getting into the 90% efficacy, Which is great, You know, again, flu shots, not even that strong and they're mandatory in many Medical institutions. You know, they may be 2030 40% effective. So we do need a lot of companies. And then when you start getting out into Africa or other countries where they don't have infrastructure You really need that seems that need to be transported without such critical conditions of, you know, minus sub gero temperatures, so in a way, it's good that perhaps more Western countries. Who have the technology are getting it first. It's great that visors coming out, but it's we need all those companies. Yes, sit tight for a second, and we're gonna come back to you in just a second doctor in La Spader, Clinical associate professor of medicine and why you Lango Medical Center will get back to him. He's on the phone here in New York City right now that we do need to get back to world a national news for that, Once again, he has two lions. 99 1 newsroom in D, C Hi, Nancy. Hey, Carol. FDA Commissioner Stephen Hahn is denying a Washington Post report that he was asked to resign if the visor vaccine does not receive FDA approval. By tonight, he will only say he was asked to continue working expeditiously. U. S marshals are standing by to protect ship and so the Fizer vaccine once it does get approval from the FDA. Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Cesar tells Good Morning America, people could start getting the vaccine as soon as next week, the FDA informed Fizer that they do intend to proceed towards an authorization for their vaccine..

Next Round Of Pfizer Doses Won’t Free Up Until Summer; Did White House Turn Down Chance For More?

"Now, U. S officials say they will have enough Cove in 19 vaccine doses to let most Americans get inoculated by Summer. The Trump Administration is downplaying reports that it passed up a chance to secure more of Fizer shot. The government signed a deal last summer to obtain 100 million doses of visors. Experimental vaccine enough for 50 million people. The U. S also has agreements in place with Madonna, AstraZeneca, Johnson and Johnson and others to discuss We're joined by Bloomberg's Michelle Cortez. Michelle Big News four. Fizer today ahead of A meeting between FDA officials and Fizer. That's happening later this week. We got an FDA staff report that says the vaccine is safe. What can you tell us? Well, what we're finally seeing now is the details of the size of beyond tech trials, and they are absolutely meticulous in terms of how people responded to the vaccine across different age groups across different ethnicities across different co morbidity, ease. And, honestly, Emily what we're seeing at this point, everything looks great. More than 90% efficacy across the board, every group that they looked at A number of serious and severe vaccine. In fact, virus infections was very low. Only a handful of people were infected. The people who did get infected. After getting two doses of the vaccine. Almost all of those came within the first few days after getting that second dose, which indicates that if people do stay safe, right after those first couple of days, you could get to an even higher protection level, So it's all really great news across the board. Of course, Now what we're looking at is getting getting a final review from the FDA Advisory Committee hearing that's going to be more than a dozen experts were going to come to the details, the physically see if there's any other hurdles that the rest of us have missed. And then we got to roll it out. We're also getting new details from AstraZeneca. You've got Johnson and Johnson and Merck, potentially on the horizon. How does the UK rollout impact US access to the vaccine? We are now hearing of course, about how Fizer did offer to the U. S to get more of the vaccine for for the U. S. And where the Trump administration didn't want to go down that route. They are, You know, the spreading out the by a little bit more broadly, and then we saw Countries like the U. K and other places have snapped up those visor vaccines. So when we're looking further down the line, perhaps in the summers when the U. S will be able to get more of those doses, so as long as as long as the other virus vaccine do come along and get approved and have successful trials, we should be fine. Why would the rollout in the UK It does show that some of those doses are being taken by other countries. Also in the UK, they're rolling it out. First. They're going to be tens of thousands of people who are gonna be getting it should anything crop up unexpected. It'll most likely appeared there first. So it is a little bit of a front runner of rough. So how promising are some of these other companies looking AstraZeneca, Johnson and Johnson mark at this point Yeah, We're still waiting for data from all of this. Those companies, but they all do bring something a little bit different and better write a potentially better Johnson and Johnson and Merck. They just have one shot. You don't need to wait for your second shot. Um, they're easier to deliver. You don't need that super cold chain delivery system. But but also, um we don't know how they're gonna hold up. We don't know if they're gonna have that 95% efficacy, which is what we all really

"I told you about him the other day. The FDA commissioner also offered reassurances that the agency Well based vaccine decisions on Lee on science and that politics, he made a statement that was misinterpreted. I was one of that misinterpreted it that I was straightened out on the same day that he said the way that it was reported Is that the FDA commissioner said that he would be willing to release a vaccine prior to the end of the face retesting. What was left out. From that was, he would only do it in like gigantic life or death, emergency situations and on Lee, but for a handful of people And it was his way of saying, I'm probably not going to do it until the testing is done, But bear with me. But the last time there was an NPR PBS pole about you know who would be those ofyou and your willingness to take the vaccine on or not 35% Responding. That poll said No. Lighten about 98% of my impromptu poll said No. Nullifies our CEO. His name is Albert Birla. He reiterated yesterday on NBC that his company's vaccine Could have seen results from the phase three trial by the end of October. And he's saying that has nothing to do with pressure from the president. By the end of October is certainly before the election. Now you're thinking. Ah, yeah, right. Ah! Here's another guy that's in the back pocket. A. You know who Why don't you check out who the CEO Albert Borland voted for in the last presidential election. And then get back to me. Get back to me on that. So these thieves, CEOs from the AstraZeneca's and the visors of bitterness and all that they're not going to cut anything lose because you know me. The lawsuit's just imagine. Imagine. The litigation. If it leaked out and somebody indeed, one of these companies did jump the gun and then somebody got sick. You know? Um Of course, they're going to be more cautious than anybody. They're going to be a hell of a lot more cautious in the American government. And that's good. So I mean, that's that's that's all good news on vaccines. All good news. You know, we continue to look at the stories. At least I do because I'm interested in this stuff. The intelligence stories about how Iran, China and Russia Apparently have all come together now, and we suspected this the other day when Devon was on and maybe we'll talk about it a little bit today when he joins us at noon, But now it's pretty much official. These three countries who are our enemies hate us with a passion. It's not hard to sort out. Isn't Iran China? Russia. I have joined together. In their hacking of American and British companies on the vaccine. And as one doctor was saying with one other studies and not relevant as to which one it wass, So I'm not going to tell you even though I know He's kind of like, Who cares. Who cares because it's all for mankind. Let him take the information. This is intellectual property that needs to be shared The fact that the three of them the Big three Madonna, AstraZeneca and Pfizer all came together in this joint press conference about saying. Hey, this stuff is going to be safe. Let's you know right now that they're all doing the right thing, thinking the right thing and probably will do the right thing You know, at the end of the rainbow whenever we get to that point, when we do indeed have a vaccine. And let's all remember. You know, we're not. We're not coming up with a regular vaccine here. We don't have any corona virus vaccines. This is all new stuff. New stuff, which you know circles back to that argument the other day that we're able to do this so fast, apparently, if indeed we do get it done very quickly. Why haven't we been able to do it with with AIDS and cancer? I mean, these are going to be Serious bomb throwing questions. From the advocates of those two diseases that once you know they want action. I have wanted action for decades. But this comes along and it's different than anything else that we've dealt with. And all of a sudden it becomes the big giant top priority and we developed a vaccine for it. It just goes to show you that we can When all the great minds come together and we put our minds to it. You know it can be done. So maybe we have learned from the development of this particular vaccine for the growing a virus that there are ways to, um, apply this to finding a cure or a vaccine for cancer and AIDS. Wouldn't it be amazing if we had a cancer vaccine? Oh, my good, but there's so many different kinds of cancer. I don't think you could ever ever ever ever have one vaccine to take care of all cancers is just no way that would be an impossible scenario. All right, coming up in just a few minutes. Leo. Terrell?
