Gen. Mark Milley to Nancy Pelosi: 'I Agree With You on Everything'

"Mike gallagher. Maranda devine weighs in on the general milley thing in the new york post and so honestly if you're radio interviews generals who say well. It's not that big a deal. I mean generals talked to generals all the time you know. I talked yesterday about nancy. Pelosi is involved and that's what she dives into let me quote from her article. I mean journal. Mark milley became so deranged that he cast himself allegedly as the hero of a seven days in may style fever dream in only he could save the nation from trump trump launching nuclear war with china to stay in office. It's an insane scenario. Left wing equivalent of the most far-fetched cunanan conspiracies. She writes but this is what is claimed in. The woodward cost of book entitled peril show alarmed was the tightly wound. General about what he imagined. Trump might do that. He made secret calls his counterpart in china. Promising to warn them if the president ordered an attack. It's clear that milly or people authorized by him leaked details of his delusional daring due to a number of authors. Because he's proud of his actions. His lack of shane bodes ill for the country if he remains the nation's highest ranking military officer as chairman of the joint chiefs of staff the botched withdrawal of troops from afghanistan over which he presided was bad enough. She writes what's next and the most disturbing part she writes of the mili- story is nancy. Pelosi's malign influence. The general seem to treat her as his commander in chief pelosi who was engaged in a blood feud with trump that sent her batty manipulated and bullied. Milly a transcript of a call with pelosi two days after the january six capital riot obtained by the payroll authors has her ranting at about trump's access to nuclear weapons pelosi said if they couldn't even stop him from an assault on the capital who even knows what else he may do and is there anybody in charge of the white house who is doing anything but kissing his fat but all over this. He's crazy you know he's crazy. He's been crazy for a long time so don't say you don't know what his state of mind is. Milly reportedly responded madam speaker. I agree with you on

Nation's Top General Reportedly Held Secret Meeting to Cut off Trump From Nukes

"So bob woodward's out with a brand new book is he is Roughly weekly this one includes some amazing claims about general milley. The chairman of joint chiefs going outside the chain of command making clandestine contacts with china around the time of the election and the january sixth fracas. Also nancy. Pelosi going not sinned. In the claiming trump was insane and the nuclear codes needed to be taken away from him. Jen griffin did a terrific job. Is she always does on fox news encapsulating some of it. Let's let's go ahead and hit clip. Sixty one multiple pentagon officials tell me that some of the characterizations in the woodward and cost book are quote. Nonsense there was no secret meeting over nuclear procedures or attempt to undermine the president's authority. Here's what we do know. Two days after the capital riot house. Speaker nancy pelosi revealed she called general milley about taking the nuclear football away from president trump to prevent quote an unstable president from initiating military hostilities or or accessing the launch codes and ordering a nuclear strike pentagon officials pushing back on suggestions in the new woodward and cost a book that general milley put himself in the chain of command. I can report from my own conversations at the time with senior military sources. That during that phone call speaker pelosi was distraught following the events in the capital that day and was screaming demanded that general milley take the nuclear football away from the president. Those privy to the phone call told me at the time that general milley tried to reassure her and pushed back and repeatedly said madam speaker. You know i can't do that. You know milley told pelosi. There are lots of checks in the system to trump from going rogue pelosi then told me he's crazy you know he's crazy and remember. This is like right after the capital thing had happened. So she's you know all worked up he's crazy and what he did. Yesterday is further evidence of his craziness policy added referring to the capitol right. According to the book. Madonna's New Warner Music Group Deal: What Could It Mean?

"It's a global partnership with madonna that encompasses a new agreement for her entire recorded music. Catalog the deal. That has madonna returning to her. Previous longtime label. Home includes her sire. Maverick warner catalog. Plus three most recent studio albums. I'm a rebel hearts and madame x. Were which were all released by interscope records but they will now join the warner catalog in twenty twenty five. Madonna exited interscope last year. And warner says its new agreement. Was madonna covers seventeen studio albums as well as singles. Soundtrack recordings live albums and compilations. Okay so keep. Let's talk this out for the uninitiated. Like what does this mean. What does this mean to you as a madonna fan will want. I want to say that. I don't think it's ever confirmed that. She exited interscope I believe madam x was her final album in a three album. Deal with interscope. Okay okay so i mean is it likely that she would go back to interscope. Probably not twenty twenty. Maybe a like. That's probably not the right way to say it. Then since macken came out the year prior right. Yeah but we don't i mean. Did we report that. That's what's an article on that. I'm going to go with it. You go with whoever reported that so the weights are read. This when i when i saw the press release It was carefully written to be specifically focused on her catalog meaning all previously released music. All basically all of her music except for those three albums and maybe like a live album or two from those tours were all with warner already and they continue to own oliver master recordings and oliver music so when she laughed and went to interscope A number of years ago. She didn't take anything with her. Like you know so. i'm. I'm thinking that this is kind of Partially maybe ignited by the fact that she is currently working on a bio-pic a big screen bio-pic about her life and she has already said in numerous instagram video hosts and posts. How it would cover many many highlights of her professional career that will involve music so certainly there would have to be permissions given by her old warner music group home to license out all that music to be used in

Miami-Dade Opening County-Run Covid Vaccination Sites to 40+ This Month

"Will allow people as young as 50 years old to get a covert 19 vaccination. Ah, week from Monday. People as young as 40 will be able to get doses in Miami Dade County. Care. Daniella Levin Kaba made that announcement Friday morning. It goes beyond the easier rules the state has announced so far. We spoke with the Miami Dade County mayor earlier today, Madam Mayor Welcome back to W. El Lauren. So when will this age eligibility down to 40 years old take effect. It will be next Monday. So not this coming, but the following because we want to give notice two people to sign up for appointments on our pre registration. What are the new rules for people who are 40 and older? I just have to be 40 and older. That's it. Any county residency required well under the current rules, it's all Florida residents. So yes, if you have proof that you reside in Florida, you will be eligible. The rules you refer to there are the state rules. The state rules also go down to 50 years old. Beginning this coming Monday. You're going down to 40 on March 29th any concern about easing eligibility in Dade County, a head of state rules. You know, we know that that everybody wants everyone to get the vaccine and it's just a matter of these incremental steps. My name one. The president has said All ages should be eligible. And that's you know, a little more than a month away, and we've already seen Orlando take this step forward. S o. We think we're well within the cadence. They call it of moving gradually downward and it's based on both supply and demand. If we are going to lose these federal FEMA sites, we're going to be asking the federal government to please leave the vaccine behind for us, and we can administer it. We want to get these shots in arms. Losing the famous sites. Alexe pecked ations are beginning sometime next week. Those famous sites will be allocating just second doses and will no longer be Distributing any first doses. Is that correct? Yes. Correct. That is what we've heard. And so the eligibility that you announced today on this Friday down to 40 years old and Dade County on March 29th. Where will those rules be in place? Well, they'll be posted on our website, Miami dade dot com slash vaccine and we will be taking that information on our pre registration site and alerting people as to the availability.

Myanmar's military likely behind crimes against humanity, U.N. investigator says

"It is one of the severe ist indictments. The UN's human rights investigator on Myanmar says the new military regime is likely committing crimes against humanity. With its deadly crackdown on people protesting last month's coup. The special rapporteur Tom Andrews, told the U. N Human Rights Council that the military hunter had murdered at least 70 people and that more than 2000 Had been unlawfully detained. He's calling for sanctions against the country's military leaders. Here's more of what he said. As of this moment, credible reports indicate that Myanmar security forces had murdered at least 70 people. That a president those murdered were fathers, sons, mothers, daughters, husbands and wives. They were educators. They were engineers. They were students. They were many ages, but more than half of those murdered Members of Generation Z or young people under the age of 25. Madam president, the country of Myanmar is being controlled by a murderous illegal regime. Its current leadership perpetuated the atrocity crimes that are the focus of the charge of genocide before the International Criminal Court of Justice. Was the U. Biden administration leaves border towns on edge

"Out the Biden administration to help border towns deal with the influx of migrants flooding the U. S border. The failure of the federal government to protect our border and to protect our citizens who lived on that border is unforgivable. U S Customs and Border Protection Numbers show The number of migrants crossing the border have been almost doubling over the past few months compared to the same time a year ago. One thing, and then they act out the other side of the issue with open arms and not defending our border. Not paying the boots on the ground in the resource is necessary to be sure that those immigrants are coming in and directly impacting our small communities there, then left saddled with the public health crisis. There's a growing concern over the number of Children have been crossing the border newsman Griff Jenkins is in Madam Morris. The only thing that's left in this migrant camp oven over two years ago under President Trump's remain in Mexico is the cleanup job. All of the migrants that were inside have left this camp is being closed. There were about 800 Miles. It's in this camp in Madam Morris, most of them heading over to Brownsville, Texas. However, not all got across one migrant. Voters weigh in on Marjorie Taylor Greene as House votes to oust her from committees

"On Capitol Hill were congressional Democrats taking the rare step of removing a member from the committee's with a handful of Republican votes. Georgia Congressman Marjorie Taylor Greene was stripped of her to committee assignments. Education and budget. The final vote tonight was to 30 to 1 99, with 11 Republicans siding with the Democratic majority. Earlier today, the Georgia lawmakers speaking on the House floor for about 10 Minutes. In her speech, she said that she quote stopped believing in Q and on some time in 2018 after finding misinformation, lies and things that were not true. She also walked back some previous comments suggesting that school shootings like the 2012 shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary and the 20 18 Parkland shooting were staged. She also attracted the past claim, suggesting that the 9 11 terror attacks may not have occurred more from the House floor with representative Marjorie Taylor Greene earlier today, So when we elected President Trump and then I started seeing things in the news that didn't make sense to me like Russian collusion. Which are conspiracy theories also and have been proven. So these things bothered me deeply, and I realized just watching CNN or Fox News. I may not find the truth. And so what I did is I started looking up things on the Internet, asking questions like most people do everyday use Google And I stumbled across something. And this is that the end of 2017 called Q and on. Well, these posts were mainly about this Russian collusion, information. Ah, lot of it was some of what I would see on the news that night, and I got very interested in it. So I posted about it on Facebook or read about it. I talked about it. I asked questions about it. And then more information came from it. But you see, here's the problem throughout 2018 because I was upset about things and didn't trust The government really, because the people here weren't doing the things that I thought they should be doing for us. The things that I just told you I cared about and I want, you know, a lot of Americans don't trust our government, and that's sad. The problem with that is so as I was allowed to believe things that weren't true, and I would ask questions questions about them and talk about them. And that is absolutely what I regret because if it weren't for the face Post and comments that I liked in 2018. I wouldn't be standing here today and you couldn't point a finger and accuse me of anything wrong because I've lived a very good life that I'm proud of. My family's proud of my husband's proud of my Children are proud of, and that's what my district elected me for. Those comments from freshman representative Marjorie Taylor Greene of Georgia responding here is Democratic Congressman Jim McGovern in Massachusetts. Is also the chair of the House Rules Committee, explaining why Democrats decided to proceed with today's four vote that would strip the representative from her two key committee assignments. The party of Lincoln is becoming the party of violent conspiracy theories, and apparently, the leaders of the Republican Party in the House today are not going to do a damn thing about it. Now. I never thought I would say this Madam speaker, but I agree with Mitch McConnell, the Senate minority leader this week. Called Congress one greens embrace of conspiracy theories, and I quote a cancer for the Republican Party and quote I would take it a step further. I think giving cars when green, a megaphone on his standing committee would be a cancer on this entire Congress. None of us get to decide who the voters sent to Congress but his members of this body it is our job to set the standard for the conduct of those who serve here, especially when They cross the line into violence. The Republican talking point now seems to be. I condemn Congresswoman Green's words. But Madam speaker, her words air indefensible period and we must act not because it helps us or hurts them, but because it is the right thing to do for this institution and for America, and that from Congressman Jim McGovern from today. His floor debate, at one point of the representative before elected to Congress referred to Speaker Nancy Pelosi, saying that she should take quote a bullet to the head at her weekly news conference, this from the House speaker, I remained profoundly concerned about House Republicans leadership acceptance of extreme conspiracy theorist. Particularly to service their eagerness to reward a fool, a non adherent, a 9 11 truther, ah harasser of child survivors of school shootings and a value to give them valued committee positions, including who could imagine they would put such a person on the Education Committee today, and the House will vote to remove represent green from her seat on education and labor and the budget committees. That's just so unfortunate you would I think that the Republican leadership in the Congress would have some sense of responsibility to this institution, as they did when they did not see represented King of Iowa or two years ago for some reason. E have chosen not to go down that path. Even though we gave Mr Hoyer gave the leader McCarthy sufficient notice that this was ah, path. We would follow that early today from House Speaker Nancy Pelosi. It was last night in

The War with Algorithms: Why Your Next Security Strategy Includes A.I. and Machine Learning

"Welcome to another episode of. it visionaries into date nicole. Egan welcome to the show. Thanks albert. now you're the chief officer at dark trace. Tell us what is dark trace do and what does that title mean. You do excellent well. It's quite interesting. I guess dr traces in the space of cybersecurity. But if you think about cyber it's quite an interesting area and that i think people immediately think about The icon off the hacker in the hoodie so to speak. And it's so much different from that it's really evolved into big business today and i me madam both sides. I mean that in terms of the side of the attacker and the side of the defender and so really dark face does is. We found that the bad guys are winning far too often and we wanted to come up with a kind of away to give the defenders and unfair advantage and we thought that that way was based on using artificial intelligence. So what we do is really we end. Human security teams using ai. To both find in stop attacks vassar. Give us an idea of how dark trace works. Because i check out the website. I looked at some of the materials. It really does seem quite advanced and you just kind of mentioned a moment ago. That bad guys are winning more often than not when it comes to cyber attacks. And that's why you guys developed your systems. I want you to share a little bit. About how and what are the tactics and techniques. The bad actors are using in. How dr trace is stopping that. The fact is these are organizations in their own right in terms of they employ people they have a call centers For when they ask for ransom they accept bitcoin full-fledged operations but they're tied to organize cybercrime there are tied in some cases even to nation states and so cyber is big business and unfortunately it's causing tremendous amount of business disruption for legitimate companies so in terms of the tactics they can use. It's across the board. I mean when we started the company back in two thousand thirteen we probably somewhat all remember hearing about the sony attack and most recently at the end of twenty twenty We're coming off of the solar winds attack and the techniques. Just keep changing. They continue to increase in sophistication. They are new a novel approaches. There's constantly unknown threats and new threat actors and that's part of the reason it gets very challenging and in some ways people love to hear about all these these cool techniques they use but it's the fact that they're constantly evolving and changing the techniques. That make it so difficult for security teams and for what i think of a static security tools to to stay current against this. This range of threats. Yeah because in the old way the way you describing a threat detection. Threat detection was the impetus in there for cybersecurity is reactive. You can only stop something that you're already seeing happening. And then that will help protect the business. But what you're talking about is developing a way to recognize cyber-attacks new ones. Things that have never existed. Before through your yeah. I like to call that rear view mirror. You're absolutely right. I mean it's one of i think the fundamental flaws in the approach that the majority of the industry takes is. It's very rear view mirror. It's reactive in rear view mirror and by that it's exactly what you described. It's thought that you need to know what the attack looks like to spot it or you need to second guess with the attackers going to do and come up with a rule to catch it and even in those are what's known as broadly signatures rules. Right those are really what those very. Broadly used techniques are and even i've seen companies try to use some more a type techniques but what they're doing is they're pointing the a i at a training data set of historical attack data. That's just as rear view mirror. It means the attack is already happened for the ai to learn to spot it. And that's i think the biggest shifts a paradigm shift that has to happen. Security is to move it to recognize this notion that the threats are constantly changing. They're gonna come from all over the place they're going to range in sophistication it almost to a certain degree doesn't matter but the attack vector is. It could be a video a camera. It could be you know a sensor it could be literally a car attaching to wi fi. It can range so greatly but the thing you have to be prepared for the unknown attack the novel attack and that is something that i think has been really hard for the industry as a whole to get its head wrapped around

She became the youth poet laureate of los angeles at the age of sixteen in two thousand fourteen and then the first national youth poet laureate the twenty two year old poet read her poem. The hill we climb. She finished it right after the riot at the capital earlier this month. Her words captured the nation. This is amanda gorman. Mr president dr biden madam vice presidents mr emhoff americans and the world one day comes we ask ourselves. Where can we find lights in this. Never ending shade the loss. We carry a c. We must wade. We've braved the belly of the beast. We've learned that quiet isn't always piece in the norms. In notions of what just is isn't always just is and yet. The dawn is hours before we knew it. Somehow we do it. Somehow we've weathered into witnessed a nation that it isn't broken but simply unfinished we the successors of a country and a time or a skinny black girl descended from slaves into raised by a single mother can dream of becoming president only to find herself reciting for one and yes. We are far from policy far from steam. But that doesn't mean we are striving to form a union that is perfect. We are striving to forge or union with purpose to compose a country committed to all cultures colors characters in conditions of man and so we lift our gaze. not what stands between us but what stands before us. We close the divide because we know to put our future. I we must. I put our differences aside. We lay down our arms so we can reach out our arms to one another we seek harm to none and harmony for all let the globe if nothing else say this is true that even as we grieved. We grew. That even hurts. We hoped that even as we tired we try. That will forever be tied together victorious. Not because we will never again no defeat but because we will never again so division scripture tells us to envision that everyone is so sit under the vine and fig tree and no one so make them afraid if we're to live up to our own time than victory won't light in the blade but in all the bridges we've made that is the promise to glade hill. Climb if only we dare it because being american is more than a pride we inherit. It's the past we step into and how we re parrot. We've seen a forest that would shatter our nation rather than share. It would destroy our country if it meant delaying democracy and this effort very nearly succeeded but while democracy can be periodically delayed it can never be permanently defeated in this truth in this faith we trust for while we have our eyes on the future history. Has its eyes on us. This is the era of just redemption. We feared submission. We did not feel prepared to be heirs of such a terrifying our but within we found the power to author a new chapter to offer hope and laughter to ourselves so while once we asked how could we possibly prevail over catastrophe. Now we assert. How could catastrophe possibly prevail over us. We will not march back to what was but moved to what shall be a country that is bruised but whole benevolence but bold fierce and free. We will not be turned around or interrupted by intimidation. Because we know our inaction end and so we'll be the inheritance of the next generation. Our blenders become their burdens. But one thing is certain if emerged mercy with might into might with rights then love becomes our legacy in change our children's birthright

"Could be in a week a month who knows. Madame Albert has been a staple in our lives for a while. She often jokes that she's the witch of the neighborhood because she's old and has a lot of grey hair which is not always perfectly capped. Let's be honest. And also cooks a lot but not kids she would joke. And she has two black cats. One of them Milo is perfectly black. The other one ESTER is mostly black but she has a few white whiskers and a white spot on her chin and she also hates me for whatever reason. Cat psychologist, but she's probably Jealous Because Milo adores me and ignores her. Going to have to figure out if someone is going to take care of them. If I can call the station I don't even know where they took her though. I just can't even wrap my brain around this. What did Madame Albert? Do I mean? This has to be some kind of mistake. Ever since Marianne and I moved into the same building, she was always very sweet to us. As always isn't the best choice of words she was kind of mean, I? But not always to our face. When she was pissed, she often slurred. Words in French. Weird is a French immigrant town so I was quick to pick up on a few of those. She was worried that to students moving upstairs would be the death of her that would mean parties every night the clicking clicking of heels on the wood floors at midnight bites, broken glasses, water, damage issues, and different boys every day and night coming and going, and I'm not making this stuff up she told us. Jokes on her though because Marianne and I must be the chilliest students on the planet. I two broke have any fancy heels to click clack in. Would we want to more the sneaker type girls? As for Boys Not GonNa lie there have been a few boys during the year that we've been neighbors with Albert but nothing crazy and when she figured out that we weren't the devil, she actually loved hearing our boys stories. She. Often imparted on us her wisdom about love dating and marriage I should write a book. It's going to be a best seller and the tide will be how to keep a husband according to Madame Albert. It was actually a delight to listen to her ramble about husbands and how to keep them on the one hand. She had views kind of appropriate for her h you should cook and clean and do his laundry Marianne rolls her eyes. So hard that time you should listen to him engage in conversation if he feels inclined to and learn when to shut up when he wants to be left alone. And that one left Marianne and me speechless. But then Madam Albert. Carried on to explain that in bed though he should please you first and that he lady should teach all the menu sleep with about the female body. She'd say see I taught my husband and he was a great student. Then she'd inhale and exhale slowly. That is how she is. The modern woman meets the fifties wifey. With all that sex she had with her husband. She only had one son but she told us that she always wanted a girl. Actually she told us, she wanted tons of kids but fate decided otherwise. Actually. Funny Story with her son Antoine a few months after we moved in she tried to set us up on a date I was seeing someone at the time and Antoine also had a girlfriend as a matter of fact, I think he's been with her for quite some time but as I recall, Madam Albert vehemently hated her though I'm not exactly sure why and I don't really WanNa find out. I saw the statement so much to her so I accepted and I even convinced Antoine via text to just play along. We went out for pizza chatted for a bit and call it a night. We agreed on what we were going to tell his mother something about us just not having much in. Common Yada Yada. We still laugh about it when we run into each other. He told me once that his girlfriend didn't think us going on a fake date with so funny and in hindsight maybe it was a little inconsiderate of us. But Madame, Albert was so happy we went I mean she was a bit disappointed when things Didn't work out though. I think she felt listened to and that had to feel good. She's lived alone since her husband passed and since then sold their home and move to. Weird. So I doubt she has many friends here I might be her first. To thank me kind of she started bringing us tons of food Marianne was. First because how long can you really survive on microwaveable food and second because it was a huge relief on our budget? Marianne even jokes that I should have married the sun and we'd be set for life but no dude even if the stars aligned or something I still wouldn't date him I mean don't get me wrong. He seemed smart and all and raised right Kudos to Madame Albert but the spark just wasn't there. Either way every week we were getting new dishes, salty pies, sweet pies, meat pies. Things I can't even pronounce because they were so fancy and French and decadent. We're talking potatoes and cream butter and cheese. I'm going to have to ask her to make me another pie when she's here and things are all sorted out. I love how she just brings us food. Janine, asking what we want. She just make something for herself times three and we tried giving her money for groceries, but she never wanted and believe me I'm not saying this to make us look good but we even tried to sneak money to her once but she returned the day after and made us swear not to pull that crap again. I WANNA call Marianne to see if there are any updates but I mean, I guess if she had any, she reached out right away. But I'm getting really worried Madame Albert has to be Okay I. Mean I've grown so fond of her. I never knew my maternal grandma and my paternal grandmother doesn't really act like a grandma at all because I don't think she cares to be one. So I'm glad I have Madame Albert. I think she feels the same way about Marianne and me. She mentioned often how proud she is of her son but that the relationship between mother and daughter is just so different she says. and. Once Antoine left to live his life. She couldn't bear to be alone with her husband not that he was an awful manner anything. She always insisted that he was a good man, but he wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed. She wanted to talk politics literature. She wanted to learn how to use her iphone correctly, and she even wanted to get some snapchat action. But she couldn't have any of those conversations with her husband. She tells us that the two things he lived for was the PSG soccer team and weaken barbecues with their friends. Will that and their. Son. Antoine and his father were as different as they come but inseparable. Combat was very hard on Antoine. After his passing he and Madam Alexander kind of grew distant literally and figuratively. Ever since then she's really only had the cats to keep her company. I really wish I knew was going on. You know what I'll just call Antoine has to know something. Sorry you have reached a number that has been disconnected or is no longer in service. Oh thank God. Mary is calling. The voice on the other end of line wasn't. Marianne. I is this amy Marion's roommate. Yes. I replied. The person on the other line proceeded to tell me that she's a nurse at Saint Auguries Hospital and I needed to come right away because I'm listed as Marion's emergency contact and she had some kind of breakdown. And we're talking Marianne the most stable person I know having a mental.
